When we moved in, I looked at different providers through Power To Choose website and researched the different rates. Just Energy's rate was a better fit for what our budget was and they accommodated us more. Their reps were very helpful. They had a couple of different plans available and they helped me picked the one that was gonna be better for us, more tailored to our 1,200 square foot home. I was looking at one that looked cheaper, but their rep explained to me that just because it had the cheaper rate, doesn’t mean it was cheaper overall, and he explained to me what the difference was. Just Energy's service has been great, so far.

I received my first monthly bill yesterday and it was negative 14. I'm confused and I don't understand why. I'm not satisfied with Just Energy because when I called and asked how much they were charging me per kilowatt, the customer service said a different amount than what the sales representative at Sam's Wholesale Club said.

Hi, I was came from central Asia, my English bad, and when big woman was coming she said I will pay only $23 and its doesn't matter how much me and my wife and 3 kids use a PG&E. And she don't explain to me and said me put signs to here, to here and that it. But next month I see a bill for PG&E bill for delivery bill for service and bill for Just Energy about $66 when before I had pay only $32-34! Very bad and I said about this for all my friends and people to don't trust too big woman.

The guy at Just Energy said they had the best rates and offered me a $70 gift card for signing up. He was kinda bugging me, and I went and got the gift card and signed up. However, the rates were not even close to the lowest rates out there. I work for the power company, so I'm pretty sure that I could beat it by at least two cents per kilowatt-hour. I’ve had the service with Just Energy for about three and half months now and I'm not really happy with it. I'm just waiting for my termination date so I can transfer back to a lower rate.

It has been a terrible experience with Just Energy. I paid more to this energy company each month than what I pay for my car loans. I was supposed to save a lot of money when their rep made me sign up promising all the nights free and I can use our dishwasher, washer/dryer in the nights. Let me tell you, we used to use dishwasher every day in the mornings and washer/dryer mostly in the evening before 9 and this was with previous electricity provider and I never paid more than $200 per month. Ever since I moved to this company it is all so weird how they bill. I have no way to verify how in the world we used so many units during the day when the majority of our load we are trying to put during nights which of course they said it's all free. I have no way to verify they're not scamming somehow.
Y'all don't believe, I moved to this company and I started paying $450 on an average each month. The even more disturbing fact is we moved out of our house and now listed for sale. Since 45 days not even a single bug living in our house and I put the AC to 80 deg and that's all the electricity it is suppose to use except refrigerator. I still get ungodly 300+ bill for the month I don't use. Now, I just checked my weekly usage estimate and it showed me I'm heading towards estimated $270. How???? I mean HOWWW???? I'm not using anything and the doors are locked. I must have paid over $2000 in last 4 months which I never touched that amount for the entire year with Green Mountain or TXU earlier.
4 months with JUST Energy - Over $2000 (2 adults in the house). 12 months with previous providers - Less than $2000 (2 adults in the house). I will be reaching out to you guys for compensation towards all the scam and If I'm don't receive enough explanation of all this nonsense, I will be filing a compliant with Public Utility Commission of Texas. I encourage everyone here to file a compliant against such companies. I lost sleep over my electricity bills.

We are not happy with Just Energy. They conned us. We went to Sam’s Wholesale Club and they pulled us over. The guy was very nice and sweet but he didn’t say he was gonna change anything. He just needed our information to put in the computer. I told him my name and he put that in, and I said, “Okay, but we’re not changing nothing, are we?” He said no, that Sam’s Wholesale Club is paying for everything and I should not worry about a thing.
Come to find out, they hooked us. My husband had to call them and then they gave us a hard time on the phone, thinking that we were trying to opt out on something that we never signed and we didn’t even want. And then they said that if we went through the other company, we would have been charged "this and this amount". We did not wanna be with them at all. People should not do that to people. And so, he got a confirmation number saying that we cancelled everything.

I've had Just Energy for two months now and everything has been good so far. Aside from the gift card that I'm supposed to get, I switched to Just Energy because it was a little bit of a cheaper rate. There has not been much difference in my monthly bill since switching, just a few dollars lower, but I still was gonna compare it to one that should be coming this week again. I figured it will show on this month.

I've been with Just Energy for 14 days. So far, so good. I bought this building from somebody else, and they had the disconnect set for the 31st, and they turned it off on the 30th. This is before the holiday. I called in to get the service turned back up, and the person I spoke to said it would be 48 to 72 hours, and that was right before the Labor Day holiday. I was trying to plead with her that I know that it was just an order flow and a keystroke that would turn the power back on because it didn’t require anybody to come out here and do anything with the meter. She just said that's not how it works, and she was very hard to understand. We got a communication problem.
The saving grace was the very next day, when I came back up to the building, the power was on. It was a matter of an order flow, which is probably scripted that she can’t say, “We can turn it on immediately. It’s 48 to 72 hours." I get that, but it was just very hard to communicate with her. Also, while the previous owner was putting in his disconnect, I was gonna put in my new connect. That didn’t happen that way, and I called the day before his disconnect was supposed to go through, so I could maybe supersede the account. It had to be a new connect. Other than that, I’m fine. Everything’s good.

I haven’t really kept up with my energy consumption but I noticed that it fluctuated considerably. I know that prices tend to go up during the summer, but it was really getting up there.
The initial person I spoke with at Just Energy was the lady that sold me Just Energy. Signing up was fairly easy and quick. The representative walked me through the whole process. I received an information packet from them about a week and a half ago. I haven’t received my first bill, but I did register on the site and started tracking and started checking what kind of options I have online. A representative approached me and asked what energy company I used and I told him and what our rates were. He then persuaded me to sign up with Just Energy and I signed up. When I got the contract, it looked different. The rates were not clear and I thought the rates should have been different. I started reading more reviews on the company and a lot of people were having the same problems that I was starting to get. So I decided to stick with the original company and canceled Just Energy right away. They then said that I had to call them, so I did as soon as I could.
My old company has sent me the last invoice. There was a cancelation charge to that Just Energy company that we were supposed to pay for. But I figured because I canceled within the 10 days to legally cancel, everything should be okay. So, I'm still trying to figure out what's going on. I'm with Frontier Energy and I called and told them what happened. They said that when that happens, it would take them 30 days to review it. So, I'm waiting to see what's going on.

I have never been so frustrated and disgusted with a company before! I've been calling them it seems every bill/month with concerns about my account. I'm told one thing but there's no follow through, the next time I'm told another thing and no one takes accountability for what's been previously done or said. I've since cancelled my services with this company over frustration especially due to poor customer service but still have to call over continuous bills. Today was the last straw; while I was on the phone with a manager to voice my frustration, the blatantly hung up on me! I would never go back to just energy nor recommend this company to anyone. Very disappointed.

Hello Zarina. We're sorry to hear about your recent experience with Just Energy. You were provided with correct agreement information when speaking with customer service agents. Unfortunately, on the day that you requested cancellation, your agreement became active with Just Energy. Due to this becoming active, a MarkeTrak was initiated to return you back to your previous provider. Your account became active due to the enrollment notification being processed by the utility first on 8/20/2019 which takes 0-5 days to be accepted. We have provided you with a resolution and we hope that this satisfies you.

But my bill had been consistently higher during that time and I'm not happy so I'm canceling it. My energy bill went up way more than I had thought when I was told that it was definitely gonna go down and I paid higher than what the $75 gift card was if I total everything up. So, I would not recommend people to switch to them.

I googled electric companies in Dallas, where my husband has an apartment, and then I got sent to a group that helps pick the best one, and some men helped me choose the best one out of several. The guys told me that the best one for an apartment is Just Energy and that I just need to keep them for three years and that if we let them know we’re moving out, it won’t be a big deal. I told them to sign me up without even understanding that. What if my husband doesn’t live in Dallas for three years? What does Just Energy expect? I guess we just pay a fee or fine or something since they are giving us such a great rate. I don’t know what’s gonna happen. But the guy’s told me, “Well, don’t worry. If you just tell them ahead of time, they won’t care.” But guess what? He said that, but I didn't see that in writing.
We have two homes. I live in New Braunfels, our actual home with New Braunfels Utility and what everybody has here, and my husband has an apartment in Dallas where we got Just Energy. We’ve already noticed that it’s way more expensive in Dallas. The fact that he has a tiny apartment, which is 500 square-feet, and the bill for two weeks was 60 bucks. At this rate, his electric is going to be higher than mine at New Braunfels which is 1,200 square-feet and we keep it cold and we run it a lot. So we are freaking out about how expensive it is. Now, whether it’s the rate per kilowatt or it’s the piece of junk apartment my husband lives in that is very energy-inefficient, we don’t know.
I grew up where one electric company is all we had so we’re not used to having a choice where we’re from. I don’t understand why they lock us in to three years, which is unfair and ridiculous. Just Energy would say, “If you live where we provide it, we expect you to be loyal for three years.” But if I’m not gonna be moving where they provide, what am I supposed to do? I have all these weird questions, but we were desperate and we were in a pinch and I just went with it. If you’re gonna have those people who helped me find Just Energy push you as good for apartments, then there needs to be something in writing. We are only living in New Braunfels where they don’t offer Just Energy. Who knows? Maybe they will let us out of it if we prove to them or give us a fee. I don’t know. So, that’s a little off-putting.

I’ve been with Just Energy for several years now and never had an issue up until 2018. When my contract at “$.089 per KW with free nights” was up, I resigned another year for $.13 per KW with free nights. I wasn’t crazy about the $.05 increase but was happy with the company and customer service so I signed and stayed with the company. When I got my next bill, instead of the agreed upon $.13/KW & free nights, my bill reflected a flat $.19 per KW. When I called customer service, he apologized for the confusion and reassured me that the rates would be adjusted and would show in the next billing cycle. He would not refund the difference that I was overcharged, but instead compensated 2/3 of the amount owed in gift cards.
Before getting off the phone with customer service, I made sure that they understood to adjust the rate to the original contract of $.13 per KW with FREE NIGHTS. I assumed that they just made a mistake and would fix the issue... This was in Nov. 2018. Approximately 6 months later, I’m looking at my bill and wondering why it’s so damn high during the spring, when we hardly run the AC or heat... Well, the customer service representative only fixed the “free nights” and didn’t adjust the rate back down to $.13/KW.
So here I go again, on the phone with customer service. She starts off by saying “you signed a contract”. Well yeah, I did, but common sense will tell you that no one will sign a contract that’s double the amount of what they paid in the previous contract. I informed the representative that the average rate in Texas is $.11-.12 per KW, not anywhere close to $.19. Of course, I got the runaround and was told that this issue would have to be “investigated” and if found that I was accurate, the difference would be refunded, and if I don’t hear from them in 2-3 business days, then call them back. I’ve heard nothing back from customer service. When I call, I can’t get through. Chats get dropped. Emails do not get any responses. By the way, Just Energy, I still have the original contract with the rate offer of $.13 per KW...
I am highly disappointed in how Just Energy resolves their mistake and issues, especially with being a loyal customer. There are plenty of other companies that offer much lower rates. I would really appreciate it if this issue was resolved and the amount overcharged is refunded to me. It is absolutely ridiculous to charge your customers almost 2x the average rate and $.10 more than the previous contract.

First bill we received that involved Just Energy prices was way higher (150% more) than any of our other monthly electric/gas bills. So immediately called Just Energy to cancel and switch back.
They wanted to charge us a $50 fee to cancel and switch back which we immediately said, "Hell no. You are not going to charge this fee." Eventually convinced them to not charge this and they will cancel our enrollment. Unfortunately we are already beyond the next billing cycle so we will have to pay at least one more huge Just Energy bill before we can get switched back. In the beginning of this month there were some representatives walking around in our neighborhood trying to get people to sign up. And I've been looking to switch because I feel like my bill keeps going up with my electrical company, and I don't understand why, and they don't have answers. So, I was kinda tired of it. The rep from Just Energy gave me some information, said, "I'm gonna email you this stuff. I want you to get ready. You go ahead and sign up, you'd be good to go." I thought it was cool and I asked him twice before he left, "Now, this isn't signing me up for anything because I'm not sure who or where I wanna go to yet." He said, "No, it's not signing you up for anything yet. Once you call back and verify everything, you're good to go." I said cool.
And then this week, I ended up getting two bills from my electric company and I didn't know why. One I guess was my regular bill. And then, I had another bill for like $507. And I'm like, "Wait a minute." So I called my electric company, and I was like, "What's going on?" So, apparently, the rep of Just Energy ended up calling in and canceling my service anyway. I ended up having to call Just Energy back and let them know the situation. And then, they were telling me that they were gonna have to put me through the merchant. So, I have to do that and it's gonna take like 45 days to get everything switched back over. This company totally screwed me up. What if I would've had this $507 bill auto drafted out of my account, and I didn't even have the funds available. I would have been totally screwed up all the way around. That left a very bad taste in my mouth.
I asked them, "Now, how many other people has this happened to?" Because I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one. And the rep that I talked to on the phone said, "To be honest, you're not the only one." She said it's very hard to manage the reps that walk around, to get people to sign up, and I get that. But they're misleading people. The rep illegally signed me up for something that I never agreed to. So I would just advise the reps that if they're really signing people up and that's really what it is, at least let them know before they verify or give information. That is really gonna mess up a lot of people and not wanna have anybody switch over because of stuff like that. And basically, if they're telling me I'm not the only one that that happened to, something else needs to change because that's not gonna work.

That was cool. He enjoyed playing his game while the other one was showing me the rules. And if I had any questions, he would come over where I was asking the other rep if he needed him. Just Energy was set up by a little umbrella company that always finds me the best deal. They ran all the numbers for me and found that for what I’m utilizing in my wattage, that Just Energy would be the best fit. I recently switched over to Just Energy also because my company before had set me up on a rate that was only good for one year. And then I wasn’t using enough energy and it was costing me more money. And then they wouldn’t switch me back, even if I wanted to quit service and restart like a new customer. So those are all the things I’m looking forward to not happen again. 70 bucks is what we have it set up as.

And instead, I ended up with a fabulous woman who apparently looked at usage and then made recommendations on other service providers. And she recommended Just Energy. I recently got Just Energy and it has been seamless.
I called customer service once to confirm that the transaction had gone through because I got a notice from TXU saying the account was being closed, and I didn't want the electricity to be turned off and me sitting in a dark house. So, somebody from Just Energy answered the phone, and was very helpful and pulled up my account and said, "Oh, yes. Not to worry." And I asked him if he would send me the confirmation, so I had the account number just in case. And he sent me that, and he sent me some other documentation that I found helpful. I hung up and thought that had been pretty easy, because I was very nervous. I've never switched providers.

He pointed that PG&E charges me $1.82 per therm for natural gas (which is true). And said that Just Energy (JE) can offer $0.86 per therm fixed flat price for 5 years. Nice, I said yes. Later, after a brief research, I found out that JE doesn't include delivery cost and surcharges and fees. I also found out that "pure" price PG&E charges me for natural gas itself was $0.21 per therm for that period. Four times cheaper than JE offered!!
I checked, at winter time the price was $0.43. Please see section GAS PROCUREMENT COSTS PER THERM in your statement - this is real price of natural gas ITSELF, without delivery and any extra charges. I have requested cancellation next day. JE finally did it, thought they could not provide any written confirmation that service has been canceled. So, understand your bill! :) And stay away from JE, well, at least in North CA.

Several weeks ago I received an aggressive series of knocks on my door. Thinking it was urgent, I opened up the door to see a Just Energy representative standing there. The person asked to see my utility bill from the primary utility provider, which I foolishly showed him. He then explained that he needed to make sure that Just Energy was showing on the bill. He worded it in such a way that made it sound like Just Energy was a subdivision of the primary utility company, and this was some sort of internal issue that they needed my approval to resolve. He also said that the only thing that would change is the fact that Just Energy would be the name of the gas provider. He asked for my signature, which I foolishly gave him, believing that all I was doing was resolving some internal issue for my utility company.
Then, he had a third-party verification company call my phone. This person asked me several questions that I was required to give a clear "Yes" to in order to authorize this "transaction". The first question was just confirming my information, so I said "Yes". Then, the second question asked if I wanted to enroll in Just Energy's service. I was taken aback because I had been led to believe that I wasn't enrolling in any different service; I was just changing the name that was showing up on my bill. So I asked the representative, who was still standing there, what this was all about. He assured me that I wasn't actually enrolling in any new service; nothing would change on my bill except that the correct name would show up.
I was skeptical and wanted to hear the question from the verification agent again, so I asked the verification agent to repeat the question. She repeated it; however, the Just Energy representative began talking to me while she was doing so, so I wasn't able to hear what she said. This happened several more times as I kept asking her to repeat the question, and the representative kept talking to me so that I couldn't focus on what she was saying (despite me repeatedly telling the representative that he needed to be quiet while the verification agent was talking). The representative kept insisting to me that I wasn't signing up for anything new; this was just to get the correct name on the bill. Eventually, partially out of frustration, I said "Yes" to the question, and to the other remaining questions, and the Just Energy representative finally left.
Shortly thereafter, I received an email showing the contract I had "signed", which I was not aware of. Sure enough, he had taken the signature that I had provided him and slapped it onto this contract in three different places which said that I would be switching my gas provider to Just Energy. Moreover, the contract had absurd terms - I had to stay with Just Energy for 5 years, and there was to be a $175 cancellation fee if I terminated the contract early. One of the stipulations of the contract was that I had had a chance to read the contract (which I did not; the representative never showed it to me).
The only reason I'm giving them two stars instead of one, is because I was able to cancel the contract immediately after I saw it. I called their agency and explained that I never intended to sign this contract, and they seemed to cancel it painlessly. I haven't had to pay the cancellation fee, and my latest utility bill doesn't show Just Energy anywhere on it. I'll be continuing to monitor my bills to ensure that the cancellation was successful. TL;DR version: A Just Energy representative came to my door, lied to my face about who Just Energy was and why he was there, and tricked me into providing a signature that he then put onto a one-sided contract.

We appreciate your feedback and would like to inform you that we are investigating the matter with our sales leads to ensure that our marketing standards and expectations are maintained, at all times.

If companies would be proactive in letting their customer know a couple of months ahead of time that their current contract was expiring and would offer them something comparable or better than what they’re paying, that would be a good way for retention on current customers.
TXU came back to me afterwards trying to offer me a good deal or a better deal than what Just Energy they gave me, but I told them they were too late because they should have done that prior to my contract expiring and not surprising me with the bill. I was a Just Energy customer for a few years. I was a customer when they were Commerce Energy. This company charged me some of the highest fees known to man. They say they charge you a base fee however when that fee is triple your actual gas bill something is wrong. I recently switched to a new gas company, and my bill went from 150 a month with Just Energy to $12.72. Yes you read that right. $12.72. My home is basically electric. This company has class action lawsuits against it. Be aware. They are overcharging you.

My wife was in Sam’s Club and was talking to a representative of Just Energy there. They were offering a $70 gift card for Sam’s Club when you sign up and there were incentives after that for every six months or one year - you get another bonus from them. Most of the time, a lot of the people you encounter in this kind of situations are a little pushy because they’re trying to sell their product.

I've been with Just Energy for six years. I used them at my prior home in Crosby and when I moved to La Marque, I told them I wanted to use the same company and so far, the experience has been good. Transferring my service was not hard at all. But I didn’t know I had to call them again. There were two months that we were in limbo and they charged me their rate. If I had known, I would have called them right away and wouldn’t have had any break at all with their service. They were charging me 11 cents an hour and, as far as I know, that’s what I'm still on over here. And as soon as I’m with them long enough, I want to go to where I get the same payment every month. Just Energy said that I had to wait until I've had several months over here and I think that was because I had that break.

Just Energy have been having troubles finding my estimation from my NYSEG and National Fuel to get my account changed over. They just kept on calling me up and saying that they’ve been having trouble trying to get NYSEG and National Fuel to help out to switch over. I was supposed to have been with them at the beginning of June and I signed up because they said that it would save me some money in the long run to combine both electricity and natural gas, which would help me out. It was done at the Sam’s Club here in Cheektowaga where I'm a member of and they were there one day. They’ve been very polite and they've been giving me information and what I needed.

I have been a client of Just Energy for several years. At the present I have 2 accounts with them. On the newer one I had a twelve months contract at a normal rate. When the contract was up, they started charging around 20 cents a KW. They said they wrote to me...living in Europe. I never received anything when I had requested that all communication be in writing. In January I called and spoke at length with a representative who said he will do a special request that my bills would be recalculated. He said he would call within a week. Never heard of him. Then I called to cancel my account but each time the tel would not go through. I wrote an email to cancel, they said I needed to call. To this date I pay over 20 cents till I find a good lawyer.

Hello Maylis. We're sorry to hear about your negative experience with Just Energy. We sent paper and electronic notice prior to your agreement's expiration and renewal. We also attempted to contact you unsuccessfully by phone afterwards. We did speak with you in January 2019 regarding your account's agreement and billing but no renewal was completed. This prevented any billing recalculation. We appreciate your recent renewal with Just Energy, but if cancellation is requested, Just Energy requires verbal confirmation to process any cancellation request. We have attempted to contact you regarding your account but had no success. Please contact Just Energy to further discuss your concerns.

Everything is fine with Just Energy. I don’t have any complaints. Mary, one of the reps at the time, signed me up last year. She told me about Just Energy's rate and the rewards that they give. She stressed to me, “Now, be sure and use these rewards that you’re gonna get.” And true enough, I like it. I got energy-saving products, light bulbs and so forth that Just Energy offers. Seeing a lower monthly bill was definitely the big one. When Mary told me what it would be based on my previous record, I told her to get me signed up right away.

Two representatives come to my door promising me that Just Energy saves money by keeping the price per unit at a fixed rate with a low monthly fee. Sounds good, but what they don't tell you is that PG&E or whoever is delivering your gas will still charge you for the "delivery" of the gas. So what ends up happening is my gas bill has 2 companies on it - Just Energy and PG&E. I end up paying PG&E just about the same as I did prior to signing up, then I get the additional Just Energy charges that DOUBLE my overall bill. Gets worse... I go to cancel the service and the cancellation will not take effect for another 2 billing cycles, which is apparently just policy. So now I've got 3 bills at double the cost. Just Jerks.

Once I renewed and attempted to redeem the $25 gift card, the website indicated that I could only redeem a minimum $50 card for $5,000 points. We had Just Energy in 2012 but we moved to a different company and the bill was so high. I moved again to another company to save me money because I was on a budget. But seeing the bill was gonna go high with that company, we went back to Just Energy. Compared to my previous carriers, Just Energy doesn't lie about their percentages in their central wattage. Other people say, "You'll pay this much," but when the bill comes in, it comes in at almost $150. When I was with Just Energy, my bill would come out at $105. It wouldn't hit $130, $140 like any other company would. I am satisfied with Just Energy because I was hearing from multiple people that their friends’ companies would come up to almost 300, 400 bucks and that’s in an apartment. We live in an apartment and houses are supposed to be higher than an apartment.
The representatives at Just Energy are really helpful and they will answer questions. They are not disrespectful. However, nobody told me there was a process that I had to go through where I would get approved from the corporate offices so I would get my electricity up. I spoke with one of their representatives and she told me that Friday that they were gonna connect my electricity up. I called Saturday and they told me, "Call in on Sunday. We'll let you know." So, I called in Sunday. They said, "No. By Monday you'll have electricity on." We went from Friday night, Saturday and Sunday night, until Monday morning without electricity that time.
With the person that I spoke with the second time, he broke everything down correctly. He told me, “You won’t get your electricity on this weekend because it’s a Saturday and on Sunday we’re often closed. So, Monday morning you’ll get your electricity up.” I told him, “Excuse me if I kinda sound like mad or coming at you or barking at you.” He said it was okay. I asked who was gonna give my mom her money back for what she spent on groceries. It was not right that we went for three days without electricity. On top of that, my mom had a stroke. She couldn’t be without any AC. He was sorry and told me they would try to work with me right then. They told me whatever expired and if we had the receipt, they would compensate us.

Just Energy had a good flat rate for power compared to other providers who sucked because they got us in a six-month contract, and then the contract expired and they didn't really tell us. And then, I got hit with a $650 power bill because they jacked our rate up three times from what it was, and we decided we didn't want no more of that. With Just Energy service has been sustained. But we do not have to worry as much about getting a giant surprise bill.

The most recent experience I had with Just Energy was a horrible experience. The last time that I spoke with them, it was a good experience, but what had happened was I had accounts at two homes. I had purchased a home and we were remodeling it. I had electric service at the other house as well. I wanted the electric service disconnected on a Saturday and they turned it off on that Friday. I had to finish cleaning everything in the heat in Texas which is no fun.
Saturday morning, they disconnected my energy service at the home that I live in now and I have three small grandchildren. After hours of doing that, they set up a new account for me instead of just being able to turn on the account that I had. And they sent my husband an email saying what the new rates are. I've been a customer for a couple of years and there was no reason why they couldn't turn my electricity back on as simply as they turned it off. They could've simply made the same phone call and had my service restored because they should've never terminated the service at my new address. I'm very unhappy right at the moment, and I was thinking about calling the utilities commission. I don't know who else would need to make a complaint with.
It should've been a simple process. The addresses are completely separate so there's no reason to get one confused with the other one. I kept talking to people and I asked for a supervisor. The supervisor never would come to the phone. Finally, when he came to his phone, he was the rudest individual that I have ever spoken with. I kinda feel like the supervisor did this to be a jerk. He saw that I had another account so he disconnected that account because he knew what was gonna happen. It's gonna be on the weekend. I had a freezer and a refrigerator full of food. I probably lost $400 worth of food. This was a very, very bad situation and I'm very dissatisfied with what happened. Hopefully, things will be handled properly.

Scammed at Sams by Just Energy. I was talked into signing up at Sam's Club. The nice rep described this “capped plan” as that I will pay my current rate (with NIPSCO) but capped at 0.60 per term. It sounded like no loss at all. After signed up, the contract said I will pay the NYMEX rate capped at the above rate.
