Just Energy is less than what I was paying previously. So, that is better. There was no setup and they just asked for some detail and I provided. They are good.

Just Energy has good rates and the people are nice. However, we didn't realize they were canceling our contract. We're confused about that. We got a letter in the mail saying that our contract was up and we were back with the Amaren provider. We didn't realize we had to renew anything.

The promotions are nice. I signed up through Sam's Club. When I initially signed on though, I was told that there wouldn't be a transfer fee from leaving the third party that I would list. There ended up being a fee, but then I sent it into customer service, and Just Energy reimbursed me for it. It was great. However, my bill has been going crazy lately. It usually doesn't go that high, but with the weather, it's been abnormally high.

My rates went up with Just Energy. Also, when I had some issues I was trying to correct, I would call one place and they would tell me, "Your coverage is provided through this other place of us." There were two different numbers you could call depending on where you were being serviced. It took a while to get through to begin with. I didn't dig it. You had to go online to access it. Everything was too much. I didn't want to deal with all that so I went back to BGE. The people at Just Energy were nice to talk to, but I was not interested in having all my stuff separate. When I get my bill, I want all my information on there.

Every time you went to Sam's Club, there’s a gentleman or a young lady there and they’re selling Just Energy. They were always very polite and professional. I’m not getting the best deal around but eventually, I might take a look and see if that's the case. Just Energy will not have people selling the service in the stores if that service wasn't at least a reasonable deal. Everything's been fine and easy. I have no problems, which is what you would expect.

Our bills with Just Energy have not been out of sight. It's great. Usually, in the summer, it goes crazy. But it didn't. They keep the price down. I don't know how they do it. The air conditioner's going as well as the TV and it's been affordable.

The rep was very personable. Sometimes you start talking to people and they're salespeople, that you just want to keep going. But she was very nice and had a great personality for talking to people. She gave us the information and it sounded good, and we signed up with Just Energy.

I'm satisfied with Just Energy. I looked at one of the monthly printouts of our use compared to other homes earlier today and we were lower than we were at this time a year ago. We also had to put our billing back into our name last February and I didn't have any problems at all with it. It was a very easy process.

I was shopping at SAM's club and was approached by this young lady who told me that my bill would be less a month with Just Energy. Well let me tell you, my bill went from $175 a month with my current electric bill with Pepco to over $350 a month with having Just energy. I called to cancel and they said it would be 1 to 2 billing cycles. I put my foot down and it was canceled within the week. I notice that it's still being billed.. I'M HOT to say the least. I was offered just like others a $50 gift card that takes about 2 weeks via email.. Just **! They should be ashamed!!! Times are tough enough to be taken for a ride! I'm reporting this on Yelp, BBB, everywhere I can ALERT PEOPLE!

Just Energy is cheaper. It rates how much you use and that's how much you'll be billed. I let people know about them but they don’t listen sometimes. They would say they’d like to get that and I tell them that if I told them a long time ago and they still haven’t done it, that’s on them. I’ve been saving myself some money.

I was with Reliant and I shouldn't have left. My bill is higher with this company. I was told that my bill would be lower by the salesman. He also told me that they would credit me my Entire cancelation charges from Reliant. The credit goes to $150. I got a fee just for a notice. The customer service agents do their job. They shouldn't have to deal with customer complaints when salesmen lie. It's not their fault. I can't even find an app. I can't wait to cancel this company. I regret making the decision to use them.

It took me 4 calls and 17 emails to finally get a return call from Just Energy. I renewed my contract in May only l was lied to. Christy just called and said they have listened to my conversation and I was not lied to. However she refused to send me a copy of the conversation for proof. I was told to trust her. After I have already been lied to by Just Energy, to just trust her. She told me she could not investigate any calls unless I supplied the number and date that I called. They don't have any type of notes in their system. I know that is a lie because I have called and they looked in notes for me. The original person I talked to when I called to cancel told me it was too late. I only had 3 days from when I talked to S ** that renewed the contract.
Christi said I said I have 3 days until my contract goes into effect which is Mid August. Again she said trust her. Sure!!! Trusting anyone from this company is not even possible. I would love to do business with a trustworthy person from Just and not hang up the phone feeling like I need to take a shower. Well I guess we will see.

They applied my payment to the wrong account. Then they charged me a late fee. Yep, you read that right. They made a mistake and then charged me for it. Their customer service is a joke, they tell you whatever they can just to try and get you off the phone and the issue is never fixed. Go look at their ratings on other sites, nothing but one star reviews. Unprofessional, sloppy, and terrible service. Avoid at all costs.

I liked Just Energy's promotional rate, but I found out later that the rate wasn't that good. It was because I was being charged a green energy fee that I never agreed to. So, they removed that and now, the rates are a little better.

When we signed up, they said something about me getting a gift card every so often but I haven't really received many gift cards, maybe one or two within the last four years that I've been with them. I didn't know what that was for. Also, I'd like to see us get lower costs for light and gas.

Just Energy was going through the store and educating people about how they have other options for gas and that it doesn't just come from one place. They offered incentive, which was a gift card at Sam's Club for choosing them for gas. I signed up with them and they mentioned that the more you consume, the more points you'll gain. You can utilize them on a yearly basis at Sam's Club. But I haven't done my due diligence to call. It's not so easy to do. The last time I looked on Google and found a number, I didn't see anything from Michigan on their site which was weird. On the whole, I'm satisfied with Just Energy.

So far, everything seems to be fine with Just Energy. There's an adjustment once a year and they went up a little. Also, I'm supposed to get a Sam's Club gift card if I keep Just Energy again. Just Energy was giving a deal where we got an $80 gift card to Sam's Club, and I like that they pay for my Sam's Club membership every year. As far as our monthly bill, they have a max cap on how high it can go. Overall, Just Energy has been pretty good.

Updated on 07/18/2022: I need to attach a copy of my 1st bill with Just Energy and my new bill $654.23. This bill went up from $415.26 last month to $654.23. I have answered all the emails from this company and now they are not responding! Nothing on my end has changed and I am on a fixed income and I don't know how I am going to pay this and they are not willing to call or fix this because their rates are so HIGH they CAN NOT FIX this! Buyer beware! Please know if you use them you will be sorry as they do not Tell the TRUTH! My next move is to call Sam's Corporate office to let them know and surely they will not ALLOW them in the SAMS's store going forward!
Original Review: When I signed up at a Sam's, I thought it was going to be great, but as Of May 22 even though I am in a Contract My bill has gone up over a Hundred dollars every month since April and my new bill is $508.88! Who can afford this. I am 68 years old and I can not. I called and ask them to send a person to check my meter. The women said she would and NOTHING! Do NOT USE THIS COMPANY. IT'S A SCAM! I am contacting SAM'S as well as I can't believe they would want their name associated with this kind of Company! I had asked if they used Center Point and they lied and said NO. Please beware before you sign up, they will screw you over!

I got a piece of paper in the mail that said Just Energy was going to be the gas provider. They offered a gift card at that time, and I didn't have a lot of money, so the gift card was an incentive to me. However, I never got one from them.

I was supposed to be locked in at a certain rate and that wasn't true. If I could give Just Energy a 0, I’d give them a 0 because it's not right to trick somebody into getting on board, then after that, hiking up the rates without them knowing. I discontinued them, but it took me eight months to finally get ahold of someone because they kept on hanging up on me. It was a horrible experience, and I didn’t know what to do anymore. Also, I wanted to cancel, because I have a Tesla and I wanted to take advantage of the hourly plan that Comet, which is an electrical company, offers here. Now that I switched over to Comet, my bill’s super cheap compared to what I had with Just Energy.

I tried Just Energy for my electricity for a year and I didn't see what I thought should have been significant savings. Once a month, they tell me how much my bill hadn't gone up in comparison to my neighbors, if I used more or less or if my usage was average. I look at the bottom line and I went all the way back to ComEd, because my bill was higher with Just Energy. I don't have anything constantly using electricity, other than the refrigerator, but my bill went up. When I talked back with ComEd, it was an added $60 on for Just Energy that would not have been on my bill with just ComEd.
I was told that it was a certain period of time that the cost would not increase and that it would always be under what ComEd charges per kilowatt hour. What I didn't understand at the time and learned later is that Just Energy does not break up the monopoly for ComEd because you still have to come through ComEd. My bill still came from ComEd. Initially, I thought we were cutting out the middleman and it was going to lower my bill, but that's not what happened. The rate may be under what ComEd charges, but it's like one's gas. It's gotta have a way to get in, and it's got to come through ComEd's line, so I wasn't saving anything.

I'd recommend Just Energy. I inherited them and I've been with them. They're good, and the service hasn't been interrupted. I also have some stock in Just Energy. It is a good fit.

I was given a gift card for signing up with Just Energy. Their customer service was nonexistent. I didn't make attempts to contact them but they also didn't message me or call me. I moved out of state and don't use their service anymore.

Their rates have stayed competitive. Also, they had the perks program. I was able to get some free energy-saving lightbulbs and things like that by accumulating points. But that went by the wayside and unfortunately, they don't have that anymore. Other than that, I've never had an issue with customer service. Their website is accessible and easy to navigate. The mailings we get as far as this explanation of the bills is broken down, so you can interpret everything quite easily.

I saw that Just Energy's rates were a little bit less than what ComEd was charging. I switched and have my electric with them. My power is still supplied by ComEd, except I don't play pay the ComEd rates. My bill is actually higher now as it went from $166 per month to 200. I assumed it was just inflation like everything else. It’s not just Just Energy’s fault. Other than that, my electric service is fine.

I wanted to get a cheaper rate on my bill so I did the electric with Just Energy. I've been with them for a while and I have more of a consistent rate. The rate really hasn't really changed much with them. The only thing is I know I have Just Energy but I haven't seen anything come through, like notifications, in a while. I had one mailer come through because they sent me the Sam's Club gift card which was $50. That was pretty awesome. After that, I almost forgot I had them until I looked at my bill the other day.

I had Just Energy for about five years. You get your bill and it shows you the amount that you pay every month. It either stays the same or goes up. My service was set up where it was automatically renewed. I just changed over from Just Energy because I was told I would get a better deal and the price would be less.

I've been trying to cancel the service. Initially, they offered me a $50 gift card and they said that they would save me money on my BGE. But it ended up not saving me any money at all. It ended up costing me more than what I would have been paying anyway. Right now, my bill is $2,000 and some change. It will be half of that if I didn't have Just Energy. When I called to cancel it, they said they don’t guarantee that they were lower all of the time.

Just Energy was better than what I was doing so I signed up and it's been a good four or five years that I've been with them. At the time, it seemed much cheaper. Now, I don't know if it's still cheaper or not. I never realized until one day I was sitting looking at my bill that I get a charge from FirstEnergy and I get another charge from Dominion. Other than that, their customer service was very nice. Also, Just Energy gives me a gift card to Sam's Club every year. Our bills were in my husband's name. I asked about having it changed but they don't change. They just added me to the account.

The sales rep was nice. I gave it a shot and I've been with Just Energy for a few years. I'm pleasantly surprised sometimes our bill is $100 a month. Obviously, with the air conditioning, it's more. There hasn’t been a huge difference in terms of either way up or down. My bills seem about the same. But I get a rebate card every year. Also, there hasn't been interruptions.

Just Energy had called recently about renewing the contract. I was gonna kind of look around to see if there was something cheaper, but they came up with the best price per kilowatt so I decided to keep them. The people that I talked to on the phone were very informative and very educational because I told them that I was gonna actively look at the other alternate energy suppliers. They said, “Okay. Well, be sure to ask them about this and this and this." So, they were really helpful.

I went with Just Energy when they first called me or mailed me something because the price was cheaper than PG&E. But I ended up leaving them. It just got to be too complicated and I couldn't figure it out. There were two separate billings and I liked being on budget billing with PG&E. I already had Just Energy and I almost changed over to SmartEnergy, but that was when Just Energy went in and said they'd lower the wattage. They offered me what SmartEnergy was getting ready to do. Since I already had them, I kept them. Their customer service has been very good. They gave me a Sam’s card through the mail last year. But this year, it's online. I got to print it out. They don’t send cards out anymore. That's my only issue ‘cause I’d like to take advantage of that.

We've been really unhappy because since we started with Just Energy, we noticed that our bill has regularly been anywhere from $40 to $100 more a month even though we're not really seeing any more of a usage. Just Energy elevated our bill month after month. When you compare the rates that were being charged versus what rates we can get locally, it's just high.
Every time we go to Sam's, we run into people who are trying to convince us that we need Just Energy. I told them about my issue. They said, “Oh, no. They compare those, everything around, and adjust it.” It must not be our account then because there's not been any adjustment. We've tried to contact Just Energy to see about getting out of this agreement. However because the power bill’s in my name, it has to be me. I worked from 7:30 in the morning till 6:00 in the evening, so it’s just not been feasible.

We never had any issues with Just Energy, except for the salesperson who came into our house. There were many things that he lied to us about. We asked him explicitly if there was any contract, and he said no. Later on, when I tried to disconnect the service, I was being told that we have a three years contract. We would have to pay the fine if we didn’t do the contract. That was the worst part. The people who does door-to-door visits need to be more experienced and honest.

Everything has always been good. The only thing that I had to deal with ComEd was when they were trying to charge me outrageously when they were reading the meter. I made them put a digital one in. I said, "How can you guys read my meter when I have a six-foot privacy fence all the way around the perimeter of my property? You're good 40 feet and you're not going to see those little numbers." I said, "I want somebody to come out here and physically read my meter." They came out and realized that they made a big, "Uh-oh." So they comped my bill.

Just Energy told me they're gonna be providing electricity and gas and that both the rates are gonna be cheaper than what is out there right now. I don't see a difference on that. My monthly bill remains the same. Also, their representatives are horrible. I had an issue with my billing. Their billing cycle would end differently than my supplier. North Shore Gas and them were not in sync. One had a different due date than the other one, and they keep sending me through the other collection because my bill was not there in time. I keep calling them and sending them proof of my billing from North Shore Gas that it wasn't the same with their billing. I sent four different type of receipts from the bill from North Shore Gas, and they couldn't help me to this point.

Wife and I were at Sam's Club shopping when we ran across a Just Energy booth. They played out this speech that they are committed to the environment (that’s the short of it), and we would get a gift card (think it was 50 dollars) if we signed up. A few months go by and we receive a 452.74 cent gas bill when we had a 250ish bill the last months and a 180 dollar bill the same time last year. So my wife repeatedly calls Michigan Gas Utilities to try and figure out what’s going on. I’m calling people about installing a wood burner in the garage and having the gas insert removed from our fireplace so I can burn wood, anything to bring the bill down.
Finally a person at Michigan Gas Utilities says our ccf charge went from .42 cents to .79 cents. Yup we were scammed. Wife calls Just Energy. They offer to lock us in at .47 cents if sign a 3 year contract. We said no way however it can take a few billing cycles for our gas supplier to change. So basically they rope you in and if you can’t afford the high bill you will sign the contract. We could be taken for approximately 750 dollars if changing our gas supplier takes 2 more billing cycles. STAY AWAY!!!!

I have to call in and dispute and show them my bank account statement to prove that I pay. I get transferred to a "manager" who is useless and tries to swindle me for more money. This month they are asking me for another $100 dollars. I am seeking legal council to take them to court. They are absolutely horrible. SCAM!

Just Energy is decent. This year when I renewed, the prices went up significantly so I told them that this may not be the best option for me anymore. As most businesses do, they offered me something not significant, but lower than what they initially had offered, because they said that the prices were going up. Everybody's got their prices going up. So, it was easy to get worked out. I didn’t have any issue and I have no complaints. The rep kept trying to reassure me that they would do the best that they could to get me something lower and that it still would be significantly lower than what others were offering. He was trying his best to keep me as a customer. Overall, it was okay. On the anniversary of my account with Just Energy, I get a gift card to my local Sam's Club. It was a bit lower this year than last year but with the pandemic, everybody's trimming the fat.

I recently moved and did not have the option for Just Energy. I have been charged a termination fee even though I had no choice to terminate. That just doesn't seem right. I made 2 attempts to contact the company during their business hours to discuss this. I received a recorded message that the office was closed on both occasions. Fortunately I am now with a provider whose costs are lower and there is no termination fee.

I feel truly blessed, thank you Just Energy! For years I thought that I had a decent electricity plan, until I had a just energy representative come to my home and help me. He was very thorough and explained everything very well. I was very hesitant about talking to him because like I said I thought I had a good plan, but even on my lower bills I was still getting charged around $200 every month which I just figured was normal. I felt like my bill kept going up even though I was under contract and thought that it would not fluctuate much. So I heard him out, he put me on the best plan for me, and ever since my bills have been around 50 or $60 every month!! I did have one higher bill in August that went up to $81… But this was still a blessing for me considering the lowest bill I ever had with my previous company was $160! I just want to say thank you Just Energy, you are truly helping me more than y’all will ever know!!!

I used to pay 160 and then 190 and now it went up. I called about it and they said that I've been using more power but I think it's the same or even less. We're not at home for like six hours straight. The rep was polite but I didn't really have answers to my questions. They could recommend to me which appliance we shouldn't have connected if we don't need to be connected.

We go to DTE, and the weird thing about it is I don't know if they own Just Energy and there are a couple of different little companies that are going back and forth and they're all under the same roof. They're saying the same song and dance. It seems like we're kind of trapped in this thing and there's no way out. But things have been working out all right. We noticed a difference in our monthly bill when we went with Just Energy five years ago but now, there are a lot of places that have it cheaper. We had a three-year contract. Then, we did another three-year contract and they had some fee attached to it. I called and said that I didn’t want that on there so they didn’t put it. But it was like they tried to slip one in on you. If I hadn’t called them, they would have left it there.

Just Energy's representatives and service have been good. However, I've had several occasions, especially in 2020 where I paid my bill and it wouldn't take the complete payment. Last year I got into it with one of the representatives because he wouldn't allow me to make the payment, yet I'm authorized on this account. It turned into a mess. I don't know what happened last year. But I'll make the payment, because it talks about on the master account.
I did everything over the phone. I went there one time, just an example, it was $9.80. But that wasn't the master bill. The master bill was $67. So then I said, “Okay, no problem. I'll pay the 67.” So I would type in, it would say, “You wanna pay a different amount.” I would type in $67, it would not take my payment because it would say I was paying too much. When I went to the other bill to pay, it would give me another number. I would pay that amount. And then the first bill that I chose that I would pay $9.80 would show as if I haven't paid the complete bill. I said, “Well, what happened?” They said, “Well, what happens is, since you paid the first bill, it took part for the first bill and part for the second bill.”
I got three accounts right now with Just Energy. “So instead, it took a part of your payment, and it gave it to this other bill.” I said, “Yeah, but I just called to pay that one.” Let’s say it deducted $4, so the payment went down $4. So the $9.80 I paid, only took $5. It was confusing. The good thing is that I had my confirmation number. I had everything. And he was sitting there, arguing me. I said, “Wait a minute, I got everything right here.” So they wind up having to credit my account back for late fees and disconnection notice. But like I told them, it's frustrating. And then they told me, “Well, no. Go on to the internet.” I said, “I've already tried to get all three accounts linked.” It won't allow me to link one of the accounts because it said that either my account is not existing, or that I have too many accounts.
The rep wasn't understanding me correctly. Because at the end when I finally told him that, “How do I have a confirmation number for this amount, but you’re giving me a different amount? We get a confirmation number in case something happens. You look it up, you say, ‘Okay –‘” that's when they figured out that they were taking a portion of the master bill and applying it to the second bill. So then, it was showing that I didn't pay the full amount. Once they figured that out, everything got squared away as far as them taking off late payments. I said, “You got to give me a break. Go back as far as you want and tell me when do I not pay the full amount?” Which is another thing that I've had to tell them, “Look at the history. When do I not pay the full amount?” Sometimes people, “Hey, I only got so much. I'll make a partial payment.” I go, “Look back and tell me when I've called for that. It's been years that I’ve had to do that.”
I gave up on the website. After I tried 30 times, I gave up. I said “The hell with his. I'll just go back to paying by the phone.” It was too much hassle. So I now get my bill through email. And I made sure that whatever amount is on the emailed bill is what I'm going to pay. And if I'm not able to, then I would just stay on the phone and a representative answers, and we would get it taken care of.

The agent that I worked with was very helpful. She gave me a couple offers that she felt was the best offer then let me make the choice based on what she provided me. With Just Energy, we have a lower bill because once I talked to them, they found me a better plan. We're quite happy with Just Energy. It's worked for us.

A young man from Just Energy came to the house and my husband talked to him. I was kind of reluctant because I'd always used local but my husband said we should do it. When this happened, I looked at the bill and thought, "If my bills are going to be this high, I won't be able to afford electricity." It was in the winter months so it was a big bill. But it's never been that big since. I started becoming very frugal with everything. I kept my heat down and tried to maintain what I wasn't used to. I didn't get a bill one time and I've got to have a bill for me to pay something. Then I got a little pink letter saying the service was going to be cut off. I called and everything got straightened out. I have been very satisfied with Just Energy.

I have Just Energy at my home and my business. I've kept them for a long time and I used to get offered better rates whenever my contract would be up than what I do now. They used to call every year to tell me what the rates were and update my contract, but it doesn't seem like I've had any phone calls from them in a couple years. They could offer some cheaper rates, especially for longtime customers. I've also referred a lot of people to them. I manage non-units to duplexes, and I always give them their information whenever they're looking for an electricity provider.

Many years ago, TXU was really upgrading and they were charging the hell out of their customers for everything. Meanwhile, Just Energy's pricing was really great and I liked it. Typically, I take whatever offers they have. They called me every year and I can keep up with the rates. All in all, Just Energy is a good, low cost provider.

Okay, they JUST LOST A CUSTOMER. Thanks for showing your TRUE colors in this time when you could have been much more supportive. The last communication from "Customer 'No' Service" said, "We are working with your utility company to get actual usage for these days, which means the actual usage would be zero during the times your power was out. If applicable, you will see adjustments in the coming days," was just trying to placate a customer." And even though they claim that the price per kwh did not increase with the exorbitant rates, they figured out a way to make up that money. Very creative. I STILL DID NOT HAVE ELECTRICITY for 3 days in which they claim I used about 277 kWh of electricity. So GOOD JOB.
You know, I wasn't asking for the whole bill to be reassessed and CORRECTED. Just the days that I KNOW I had no electricity usage. Shame on Just Energy. I understand everything they said about increased usage during colder weather. That all makes sense. What makes NO SENSE is that they can't even admit the estimation, or worse, the falsification of the energy usage during the days when there was no power. How ludicrous!
I realize THEY hold all the leverage: if I don't pay the falsified bill, they will suspend my service and report it to the credit bureaus. But I can do some things. I will be very aggressive in letting everyone I know that this company falsifies meter readings and is REALLY NOT THAT INTERESTED in customer service. I will contact Sam's Club home office to let them know my dissatisfaction with this company that they supported. Hopefully, they will see you for what you are. I will also post reviews EVERYWHERE possible to alert others about their refusal to even admit that they do what they do.

I don't like that if you don't pay by the due date, there's a $30 late charge and I wish Just Energy would change that. With the whole pandemic going on and a lot of people out of work, it doesn't make sense to me. Other than that, the service has been okay and the people I've talked and interacted with were really nice. I talked to one of their reps about my bills and how it was going up. She shared with me that there was a lower rate going in my area and I was glad that she informed me about that. She also told me to call back because sometimes that changes for the winter. I need to do that to see if there's a lower rate. I was always paying this higher amount.

I'm getting a good rate with Just Energy. A fraction of a penny per kilowatt hour can make a nice difference in your bills. I got a fixed rate the entire time with them. Some of the other companies vary a little bit. But Just Energy has been the exact amount. When I signed up with them, they sent me over a couple of emails regarding my signup, which some of the others didn't do. They sent me a couple of emails notifying me that everything was going all right. It was nice to see that everything was going through.

Just Energy is a good company and a good service. The bill is pretty low, which is what I have been looking for. I'll stay with them for a long time. Two months ago, I was trying to get ahold of Just Energy. The guy I talked to was pretty cool and he knew what he was doing. He got my product fixed really quickly. My wife and I are happy. I'd tell my friends to go for it. They attend to you real good. They go and connect your light really quickly. Other companies make you wait for three days until they get to you. But with Just Energy, I applied with them and from one day to another, I had my light on. That was a surprise.

I purchased my home back in April, and prior to that, I was using TXU in the apartment I was living in, which was astronomical for the square footage I had. A colleague recommended some website for Texas energy companies and Just Energy seemed to be the best fit. I went to them for the price. My bill is cut in half and I have double square footage. I worked with an intermediary and he explained that the reason TXU is so expensive is because they have these hidden delivery charges that I was unaware about. And Just Energy doesn’t do that, which is great. The experience with them has been seamless. I've never had to call them with any issues, so it’s been good so far.

Our bill with Just Energy has always been reasonable. It's been easy to make the payments and set up payment plans. I like the ability to track my usage online and with the app. I found that very useful. It's been great seeing how much we've been using. I got Just Energy in my apartment when my wife and I separated in April. They had the best rate. Customer service was great from the gentleman that was with the third-party company that helped to arrange and who gave me options. Every time I spoke with Just Energy, it was very pleasant. Then when I had to cancel, they were superb. My wife passed away in September and I moved back into the house and kept the service she had with Austin Energy. So I had to cancel Just Energy. When I talked to them, they were very apologetic. They offered their condolences. The rep was very understanding of my situation and didn't charge me anything. I was expecting to pay a cancelation because we only had the service for four months.

I was living in an apartment and a guy from Just Energy came by. The per kilowatt charge convinced me. My previous provider was a little more expensive but I haven't had any problems out of either one of them. Dealing with the reps has been very good every time I've moved and I move a lot. Their professionalism is great.

We haven't had any usage disturbance or power outages. It's been cheaper than what I've always paid before. Their reps were very helpful and very pleasant to interact with.

The bill is completely different and a lot more affordable since I switched to Just Energy. I'm enjoying the smaller bill. Going online and paying my bill has been very easy and simple to do. We moved to a bigger place and was able to get the bill even cheaper than where we were before, so it's been great.

The lady referred me to Just Energy and I went ahead and did it. The bill was good. With the one that I just got, it was 94.

At the time that I signed up, Just Energy was offering a good rate. It's been good. I never had any high bill. It was never 200 or something or 300 or something. I’ve been liking what I’m seeing so I’m happy with it. I just wish they will offer overpayment. If the bill is 80-something, they will allow you to pay maybe 180 or something then they can just credit the account.

My brother lives in Texas. So, we were looking for electric companies to set him up with. The only real issue I've had with Just Energy has been talking to their customer service. I have a difficult time getting straight answers. If I have any issues, one person will tell me one thing. The next time I talk to somebody else, it's totally different. We moved apartments and they told me nothing would change. We would use the same account number because all we were doing was going from a building on one side of the pool to a building on the other side of the pool. They also told me not to worry about the points that we had accrued and they would show up in 90 days. But I still don't have those and nobody can tell me anything about them. So, I lost 5000 points that I could have spent before we did it.
When I got to somebody, they said that I changed apartments so it had to be a new account number. Then it ended up changing something else. So it just was not a user-friendly experience. Then when you call in, it automatically goes to one department because my phone number is Ohio. There's no set phone number for each division. It's all one phone number. So I just told them that I needed to talk to the Texas Department to get over to where I need to be. But being able to go online is not bad at all, although sometimes, it can get a little confusing because it's the same thing. You can't just go to the Just Energy website to get to paying your bill. You have to search for it to get over to do that if you don't have the correct website. Then, if you try to do it from your phone, it has you download the app. I wasn't impressed with the app. I don't even use it.

The guys from Just Energy were going out door-to-door and they seemed good. The bill went up for a month or two but it went back to the same one.
