I would give negative stars if I could. The skeezy salesman Gavin, regaled me with tales of how timeshares are a scam. They depreciate in value and only a handful of people ever use them. But for some reason, I fell for it. Especially when he told me that a lot of wealthy people will go to the timeshare presentation and then leave and go to their site to buy the same properties for cheaper. He even managed to sell me on the idea that I could get my money back for his company's services ($3000 USD) by including it in my sale price. Ha! Laughable. But I fell for it.
I realized it almost immediately. I looked at my contract and I had 10 days to cancel. I put in the official request per their guidelines laid out in the contract within 5 hours. HOURS! Not days! It's been a month and I still don't have my money back. I have called at least a half dozen times. I'm always put on hold so the (very nice) representative can call some other department (yeah right) and tell me that they've escalated my request and I should get a call back tomorrow. I have NEVER received a single call back. But more than that, I have not received my money. SMTN - if you are reading this, REFUND MY MONEY IMMEDIATELY OR I WILL SEEK LEGAL ACTION.
Either this company is a total scam and is intentionally making the cancellation/refund process exceptionally difficult, or they have SO MANY cancellations to process that they literally can't keep up. But buyer beware. All they are doing is slapping a stock photo on the same ad and placing it in the long list of other similar properties. There is no customization, no personalization. Nothing to make your ad stand out from anyone else's. And they do NOTHING after they get your business to try and help sell it. Why would they? They get nothing for actually selling it. They only get money when you sign the initial contract. Do better than I did - say no! And if it's Gavin calling you, please, please tell him that it's a scam and literally sit back and laugh as he regurgitates the same memorized story about how it can't be a scam because they've been in business for over 22 years and more. He gets really angry when you call him out on his BS. :D :D :D

There are not that many companies that give great service and professionalism around today. But my experience with Timeshare Closing Services was outstanding. I think it's a big scam. They talk you into listing with them and charge a one time fee of $5,000 plus until it sells. I have never got one call saying someone is interested. You keep reducing price to get back on top of list but they still never have any buyers. You might as well list it yourself.

Representative told me they had a great relationship with my resort and it was a great time to sell. ZERO hits on the advertisement or contact from any representatives after the initial set up but plenty of phone calls from their affinity partners to see if I'm interested in putting out more money. I wish I had done better research and looked to Consumer Affairs for reports first before shelling out more good money after the initial bad investment.

I really enjoyed working with this Timeshare company. They were very responsive in a very timely manner. All my questions were answered and I was very happy with their service. I would definitely go through this company again. Also, everyone was very friendly who I dealt with, and I really appreciate it all the time people took making sure all the documents were in place and that I was informed every step of the way.

Don't use them, as they are misleading. I followed everything they said, lowering the price constantly, and starting out even lower than they suggested. No movement at all, no calls, no nothing. I asked for suggestions, nothing different than I was already doing, which they said would likely sell as a result. They were very encouraging, optimistic etc until I was locked in and paid, seeing no movement.

I have had my awesome Las Vegas property for sale with SMTN for years now!! Have sell price now got sale for $499!!! I get many emails stating people have looked at ad, but NO offers!!?? For sale $499 5 star Timeshare, can sleep 8 people easy and includes Whirlpools in unit, 4 large TVs, etc. Grandview At Vegas. Week 15.

I had an amazing experience with SMTN. They made it super easy to list my timeshare and reach the right buyer. I never felt pressured by sales personnel, and all of the details and fees were made clear from the beginning. I also utilized the Maintenance Fee Protection Program, which enabled me to be quickly and completely reimbursed for the yearly charge without any extra effort on my part. SMTN had the resort, week, and type of room we were looking for. Our sales representative, **, was great. He worked with me and one of the owners with the deal and we thought it was all good to move forward. One of the other owners wasn't too happy with the offer and pulled out. SMTN refunded everything and we started looking for a similar unit. After a couple of months the original unit was back up for sale at a lower price and a little different terms so I reached back out to ** and he made it happen. I had an issue with lost paperwork getting back to the closing company but that was resolved quickly and everything was finalized right away. My new timeshare is in the system and ready to be used in 2026. If I'm ever in the market for another Timeshare I will definitely reach back out to SMTN.

I don’t believe any of these reviews…. Have had mine listed for two years with no offers. Then I get this email last month telling me they have an ‘opportunity’ for me. Turns out it’s a broker that essentially wants me to pay them to take if off my hands, telling me it’s worth $1.00. Also, SMTN is supposed to use my points once a year to rent it out and reimburse my fees paid. They did last year but when I inquired about it recently was told they couldn’t because I still owed some fee. I asked her to show me the statement because I received no bill in the mail or by email and their online it shows I owe nothing. She quit responding and of course never showed me proof that I owe anything.
On 8/15/25, SellMyTimeshareNow is pleased to share that our Customer Care team has been in contact with Sharon to directly to discuss the concerns regarding her account. At this time, we actively came across a mutual agreement. Customer service is very important to us so we were glad that we could offer her a solution.

My spouse and purchased a 1 week timeshare at the North Villas in January 2020. We have used our floating week for the last few years with full satisfaction. Our family has grown and we decided to purchase another week at the same location. We were successful in doing that and became owners of the second week in May of this year. The purchase was relatively easy and smooth. We have already booked our holiday for August, and are going to our home resort on August 17. As a Canadian family we had some hesitation about this purchase given the current "climate"; however, we love our Hawaiian friends and made the decision to go ahead with our purchase. We are pleased with our purchase and consider it a legacy purchase to leave a week to each of our sons when the time comes.

After years of being stuck in a timeshare, I tried to "sell" it myself and it was a disasters, deeds and can't get ahold of the company. Bounced around "You can't do that." I ran to Google for how to get out of it. 1,000s upon 1,000s of dollars wasted and found SellMyTimeshareNow (SMTN). Within a couple short months I was finally not able to just get rid of that cashflow drain but actually got PAID to sell it. The process was easy, their fees were very transparent, and the communication was good, like very good. It's crazy because everything to do with timeshares is a terrible experience but with these guys it was a very positive one.

SMTN handled ALL the closing and recording documents of our timeshare purchase from their website listing in St Maarten. Professional, courteous, timely, and reasonably priced. They took away the potential problems that comes from a "foreign" purchase, including several progress reports to us throughout the closing process. This is our 2nd time using their service and have recommended them to friends and family.

If you're looking to sell your timeshare, don't bother with Sell My Timeshare now. They will make no effort to sell your timeshare. The hardest they will work is to get you to buy their service or especially to get you to renew after one year. They will mislead you into thinking they can sell it!!! After one year and dropping the price to next to nothing, I got exactly zero inquiries. I own my timeshare outright with no financing and they still found absolutely zero interest. After not renewing my ad they released my information to all timeshare exit companies, inundating me with phone calls from these really shady companies that prey on victims of the timeshare industry. You will feel the same experience of being completely lied to and taken advantage of as you did when you realized the long-term details of owning a timeshare. This whole industry needs to be shut down.

SMTN has mislead this client in the selling of my timeshare. I was on the phone with there salesmen for over 2 hrs before he dropped the contract price. I did give in only under the guaranties made by him that this would sell in a few months. It has been almost a year and no activity on my listing. Not even a hit. BE AWARE of this company. They do not deliver on their promises.

I attempted to sell my timeshare with them and they did not fulfill numerous amounts of promises. I recorded every phone call and have email records asking specific questions about if they work with you to monitor the pricing every so often and they said every 30 to 45 days, they would reach out and that never happened. The timeshare company ended up buying the timeshare back and now they refuse to refund the money. I paid them to sell the timeshare because they said I did not sell it to a third-party and I did not sell it for above or the asking price that they had it listed for. I have asked to speak to a customer service supervisor and to the owner through numerous platforms and they never get back to you. Do not spend $1698 having them sell your timeshare as they do not do a good job and they are a scam.

I can see that there are a lot of good reviews but not for me and some other people. My experience with these people has been very regrettable. I was having some problems 2 years ago and the grifting salesman Anthony ** took advantage of my situation, he lied and scammed me with incorrect information and I haven't had any offers in 2 years. They are liars. Even the gangsters Al Capone, El Chapo, Pablo Escobar did some good things for the citizens in their countries while they were terrorizing the world. So don't be fooled by the good reviews, maybe they are fake. The salesman's wife and kids should be proud of daddy bringing home money from scamming seniors on the internet. I was taken advantage of. They don't even return my calls anymore. The salesman should be convicted of fraud!!!!

They use deceptive practices to earn your business. When I was thinking about signing up they mentioned it was likely to sell in 6 months and it's been a year. Every time I call for an update all they recommend is for me to drop the price. They don't market or do much else but list it on their website and they won't give you your money back.

I used SMTN for the sale of my timeshare in Hilton Head. I received excellent service; they kept in touch via phone, mail and email regularly, I got a higher price than I anticipated and the business took place in a reasonable amount of time. I plan to use them again for the sale of another timeshare.

They were great to work with for my closing! They followed up online and by phone with updates every couple days! I truly appreciated the consistent feedback as there are lots of steps to a closing when buying a timeshare. Would definitely use them again in the future for another timeshare!
