Worst company I have ever dealt with, I had to change my flight for my mom’s celebration of life. They changed it but also downgraded the flight so I had to pay for my carryon luggage. Then they had the nerve to say I did it myself on the airlines website when I had all their emails confirming the change. Spent two days and over two hours on the phone to be told they never did it even though I had the backup. Was never credited back for the cheaper flight or seat fee.

Scam Company! Avoid Priceline at All Costs! I had the worst experience with Priceline, and I’m beyond frustrated! I booked a flight to Colombia for specific dates, and when I checked my confirmation, they had booked me for completely different dates. Naturally, I called them to correct this mistake, and what did they say? That I would need to pay $210 PLUS a difference of $590 just to change the dates to when I originally wanted to travel! That's $800 extra for something that was THEIR mistake!

It’s clear to me now that Priceline is a scam. They will book you for whatever dates they want, sell you a cheap flight initially, and then try to pressure you into paying a huge amount of money to get the tickets you actually need. Now, when I tried to cancel the flight because of their error, they told me they couldn’t do anything and that I would have to pay an additional $780 on top of the $400 I already spent for the original ticket. Please, do not book anything through Priceline! They are just after your money and will leave you stranded with no support when they make mistakes. This company is a scam, and I regret using them. Save yourself the headache and avoid them at all costs!

So, searching on Priceline I come across their “express deals”. Ok great, a flight at half the cost by not being brand-royal and choosing your own airline. Let’s read the fine print. Can’t choose your airline, can’t choose your flight time… could be non stop or have a lay over- more fine print: Priceline could book you on TWO Different airlines. Red flag! Ok, so I call 3 different times the customer service line after the chat robot gives it to me because I asked “what happens when my first flight is running behind” after mountains of OBFUSCATION and a hour of really bad elevator music, the ‘pass you around until your frustrated’ dance gets me to this conclusion, thank you Alicia from not America: “you alone are responsible for getting yourself where you need to go”. Right there ladies and gentlemen- Priceline will not help you once they take your money and leave you stranded on a layover!! *Great* business concept!!

This site is a scam, it advertise flights to Puerto Rico. When you select and fill out all the information it says the flights are no longer available, they also advertise to sign up for a VIP credit card to give you a $150 credit to your purchase and again after you get approved and try to book a flight it does not allow you to do it, these people are extremely good at scamming.

Please beware! I booked a all inclusive with Priceline for Riu Palace Jamaica for a vacation in June 2024. I should have checked reviews using Priceline and Riu Palace but I did not! Well right before my flight date hurricane Beryl ripped through Jamaica. Due to that I had to cancel my trip because there were no flights and who wants to be on an island during a hurricane anyway, right? Well in canceling I was given the runaround from June until now (November) from both Priceline and Riu Palace Jamaica. They continued to promise a refund but just kept blaming each other as to why now in November I still do not have a refund or even a request to rebook my days for another time.

They clearly just kept my money which was not small change and refuse to refund or reschedule days. Please beware of their shaky policies in place even when there are natural disasters. I never thought such huge companies would operate in such a distasteful way!! No refund, no reschedule, no help, nothing!! Just blame and excuses!

Customer service people are rude and will just put you on hold without notice. Will get impatient and will just repeat the same thing over and over which is usually there is nothing they can do. Spend hours over the phone just to get ripped off. Will never do business with these guys again. Don’t be baited by the lowest price. It is not worth it. Trust the thousands of people saying this.

Called Priceline many many times, they told me the same thing over and over again, they said will post my refund as soon as the airline company post the refunds back to their card. I purchased a flight to Jacksonville Florida and car rental from Priceline. Flight was good, but the rental car company EASIRENT.COM that is a Priceline partner that was given to us was the ABSOLUTE worst experience I've ever had renting a car in my adult life. After we landed for our flight we were shuttled to this easirent.com Jacksonville off site office which looked like a dump. As soon as we walked in we saw customer after customer either waiting for someone to help them after they had gotten a car and had a problem, or waiting for over an hour just to RETURN their rental. After we waited in line we were told that we would have to have our own personal auto insurance policy as coverage, and that we would either have sign a waiver or pay a lot of money for tire and windshield coverage! What honest rental company makes you cover a tire and windshield damage?

We asked every other customer why they were having a problem and were told the tires on their cars were all bald, some cars had to be brought back with check engine lights on, and one car had been smashed in the rear and was given out to a customer who was afraid to drive it due to the body damage! In addition, we were told that they didn't have a car for us to rent or similar car and offered us NO other options. No substitute, upgrade, or even down grade so we wouldn't be stranded near the airport! We cancelled our reservation and had to travel back to the airport and hope and pray we could find a rental last minute on the spot. Better part of a day wasted! The ONLY thing I will say is that Priceline did refund us the money we put out for the rental quickly and without hassle. I refuse to do business with priceline until they drop Easirent.com as a partner and do a better job vetting the companies they partner with.

I purchased a trip package through Priceline for Nov. 13th-17th because I've had good experiences with them in the past but this weekend there was endless problems. The only thing that went right is the flight to Chicago from Minneapolis. Our first night at DoubleTree in downtown Chicago, halfway through the night when I got up to go to the bathroom, while I was sitting there a roach ran at me and I panicked and kicked it and it disappeared under the door, I would have gotten a picture but I couldn't find it.

I then googled the hotel and apparently we weren't the only ones to have a roach problem at this hotel. Disgusted we went to the front desk to let them know and they offered a $50 food and beverage credit. Why would we want to eat somewhere that has roaches?? We asked for a different room and they were able to switch our room. Our second room the bedding was ripped so the stuffing was all coming out and looked dirty, they hid the blankets between sheets. Then when we ran out of toilet paper I reached out for more and didn't get a response till the next day.. really? The phone in that room didn't work along with one of the lights. All but one of the 5 elevators were down most of the time. As much as I would love to walk up 13 flights, I can't. I have fibromyalgia, so it was a good 20-25 min wait for elevators.

Add to that the whole time we just felt uneasy looking to see if anymore roaches made their way into our room, and this is considered a 4 star hotel, with roaches? I purposely spent more to stay at a 4 star hotel because I wanted to treat us to a nice place. Then when we tried to get to an event in Minneapolis our flight is delayed and was supposed to have left at 12:45 pm and then didn't take off till 2:40 pm which got us to Minneapolis a 4 pm. There needs to be some type of a refund, anything due to us waiting, and being late now to our event in Minneapolis. Also in the 2 hrs and 20 mins we sat on the tarmac not going anywhere they didn't once offer any food or water to anyone. They gave us very limited information on when we would be able to take off and sounded unconcerned with any obstacles this caused. Saying sorry is great but didn't resolve the concern at hand.

I am writing to express my profound disappointment with Priceline’s handling of a recent reservation, which left me stranded and without any meaningful support during a critical time for my family. I booked a flight and car rental through Priceline to travel to Wichita, Kansas, to support my daughter and her family as my grandson was hospitalized in the ICU. This was an incredibly stressful and urgent trip, and I relied on Priceline’s service to ensure I could reach Bennington, Kansas—an hour and a half drive from Wichita—to be there for them. Unfortunately, when I arrived in Wichita, the rental car company, Payless, informed me there were no vehicles available. In fact, the manager explained that they had not had vehicles for at least three days and had notified Priceline about this issue. Despite this, Priceline continued to allow reservations to be made, leaving customers like me stranded.

At the airport, I attempted to find a vehicle with other rental companies, but every single one was sold out, and any vehicles being returned were already reserved. I had no transportation and no way to reach my family during this critical time. I immediately contacted Priceline for assistance, but the experience only worsened. I was transferred multiple times, speaking with at least four different representatives, none of whom were able—or perhaps willing—to help. Initially, I was told that arrangements could be made to locate a vehicle from another rental company near the airport. However, after being transferred to a manager, I was informed that Priceline could not or would not make any effort to assist in finding alternate transportation.

Ultimately, my daughter, already under immense stress with her son in the ICU, had to arrange for a friend to leave the hospital and drive to Wichita to pick me up. This was an unacceptable burden on my family during an already difficult time. This entire experience was deeply frustrating and upsetting. It is completely unacceptable for Priceline to knowingly book reservations for services that cannot be fulfilled and then fail to provide adequate customer support to resolve the situation. Leaving a customer stranded in a moment of crisis shows a shocking lack of care and responsibility. I expect a prompt and thorough response to this complaint, as well as an explanation of how Priceline plans to ensure this does not happen to anyone else.

Booked a car to be picked up at the San Diego Airport. Priceline (and Thrifty) arranged for me to pickup the car 30 minutes away, by the CA/Mex border! Thrifty’s solution was for us to take an Uber to the location to pickup the car. They refused to honor the res at their location. Priceline’s suggestion was to cancel the original res and make a new one. We tried but they had timing restrictions to get the new res to AVIS that would have delayed our trip for hours. AVIS never got the new res and refused to honor the Priceline quote. We ended up renting a car from AVIS for $300 more than our original quote. Thrifty wanted more that $400 above the original quote from Priceline.

Priceline took no responsibility for their obvious mistake. Thrifty did not honor its request from Priceline. AVIS did not acknowledge their relationship with Priceline. After a three hour flight, this was the worst possible way to start our vacation. I will not recommend Priceline or Thrifty/Dollar to anyone, ever! AVIS rented us a car but was much more than the Priceline quote.

I booked a flight after searching options on Google. I was switching back and forth between a web browser and the Alaska Air app as I was trying to choose my best option. I ended up purchasing the flight on the web browser and only after receiving the email receipt did I realize I had made the flight reservation through Priceline. The price was no different from what I would have paid through the Alaska Air app, and yet I have discovered significant differences in service. Firstly, I never received a notice to check in for my flight. I discovered I could only check in at the airport. At the airport, I was told that I was bumped to standby on the second leg of the flight FROM SFO to LAS because the flight was oversold. My 14yr old daughter actually has an assigned seat, but I don’t?

How can this happen? We are listed under the same confirmation code. The same reservation? Why would my child be split from my reservation? The Alaska Air desk agent could not change anything because the ticket was purchased through Priceline. I have to check in at the gate SFO and hope that somehow I can get a seat. I am so furious with Priceline and will absolutely NEVER use them again for anything. Customer service as well as their Chatbot Penny are useless. To add to the frustration, when I was trying to use Penny, the cookies pop-up window was blocking the chat window and I could neither close the popup nor choose to accept or deny because my taps were affecting the screen below the pop-up as if it was invisible. Obviously a bug in the Chat.

I've been using Priceline since they came out and never had a bad experience until recently. The car rental I booked through another site (Economy Car Rentals) was an absolute nightmare so I cancelled the reservation at the desk. While waiting for the shuttle back to the airport, I booked a car with Priceline, but because I was boarding the shuttle, I didn't realize that the booking was at an agency on the other side of Orlando. Not the end of the world, or so I thought. By the time the taxi got me there, it was 15 minutes after the agency had closed (no notification of business hours from Priceline). The round trip taxi ride cost me $165.00.

I ended up having to take a bus to a depot near my destination, a Lyft to the house, a Lyft to go visit my mother in Assisted Living, a Lyft to a local rental agency, a Lyft back to Mom from the agency after car drop off, a Lyft back to the house and a bus back to the airport. $300 in additional costs because they booked someplace way far when I specifically requested the airport. After a couple of back and forths with their "customer service", they decided they weren't going to do anything at all to make this right, so they lost me as a customer forever... and hopefully everyone seeing this too.

BUYER BEWARE!! I used to use Priceline on a regular basis for years. Never had an issue with them. I always told friends and family to use them, that they were always great to deal with. For the last couple of years their service has gone downhill drastically. I am the first patient to have surgery this Friday with check in time at 6:00am. We live 4+ hours away, so rather than leave at 1:30-2:00am and have to worry about deer on the road all the way there, we booked a room. I put in the city where we wanted to stay, so we would be 5 minutes away from the surgery center. Instead they offered me a “deal” where they would pick one out of three. Not realizing they completely changed the city to a totally different location!!

We will now have to leave at 4:00am, the “free breakfast” that my family members were supposed to go back and eat, while I am in surgery is out the window, because who the hell wants to drive 4 hours for a free breakfast! I called immediately after realizing what happened, while the gal was trying to help me, in the background, they had a humdinger of a party going on. And of course the calls are routed over-seas, so through broken English I was told under no uncertain terms that we could not change the location, as they have very strict guidelines. Well, I have very strict guidelines when it comes to my pocketbook, so when it comes to doing any future business with Priceline, they will no longer have my business. Unfortunately, a senior citizen veteran fell ill and had to be rushed to the Veterans Lyons VA Hospital for care. Thus, he was unable to make the trip and had to cancel his reservation, which amounted to $200.

On November 7, we called Priceline expecting them to take some action so that we would get a refund for the veteran’s room cancellation. Priceline said that a refund was at the discretion of the Comfort Inn in Alexandria, VA. The hotel denied our request. Priceline indicated that the Trip Protection was not valid. In retrospect, I think Priceline has engaged in deception by offering Trip Protection. I reserved a car through Priceline on October 29, 2024. This reservation was for a vw jetta or equivalent from November 9, @midnight to November 11 @4 pm. I called from my plane at 10:00 p.m. on November 8 and advise reservation specialist that my plane would be 30 minutes late due to seating disabled people on the plane. He said there is a 4 hour window to pick up so it would be no problem. I arrive in Orlando at 12:15 a.m. and I call twice to find out where the shuttle is at. I arrive at the rental car company at 1:00 a.m. I stand in line for 15 minutes. As I observe two of the three transactions going on, it seemed customers had a different reservation amount than the counter was wanting to charge them. They had four cars they were trying to rent and saying that is all they have left. They kept trying to get rid of a jeep.

When it is my turn, I was told my reservation from priceline would not be honored. He said it has been a busy friday night and they do not have my car that I reserved. He said I have a jeep wrangler. I said will I get that for $71.92, and he said I would have to pay the difference. He said the jeep would normally go for 130-150 rate. This isn't true if someone rents in advance. He said he would have to charge me the difference. I asked him why I would be charged more than my reservation because it is not my fault they do not have my reservation. He said, "I don't know what to tell you except, if you want to rent from us tonight you will pay it or you can go elsewhere and rent a car." He said however, "You will pay a lot more given you don't have a car reserved anywhere else."

I told him this sounds like a bait and switch. I told him I could have reserved a car elsewhere for cheaper than 180, but I reserved with ACE because I was quoted $71.92. He said, "Do you want the car or not?" At 1:45 a.m. in the morning a customer has no other option but to pay whatever they need to in order to have transportation. It is obviously a bait and switch practice this customer service rep. was doing. I hope any potential customers will read this and realize this will happen to you as well. Priceline says they can not guarantee car rental reservation and is not obligated to get involved in the transaction. If you want to know more please contact me at **.

I am sure those are not the dates I introduced, as I was looking for a night for a specific night on many sites. Immediately, I tried to fix the problem. I was not asking for a refund, just for a change of dates (which I am sure the system changed). They said they could not do anything because it is non-refundable and that I had to talk to the hotel, and the hotel said they could do nothing because is managed by the site. So no room, no refund, no nothing.

We had a flight that was canceled because of Hurricane Milton. The airline was fast to refund it because it was obviously out of anyone's control, but it was refunded to whatever third party credit card number used by Priceline and not the payment method I entered, which I did not know would happen and Priceline does not inform you that they use their own credit cards "for your safety" when you book through them. I then had to repeatedly call Priceline customer service over 3 weeks and each time was told the same things over and over that it's being worked on and processed and then eventually that I'll receive the refund in a couple business days. Each time they said I'd receive a call with an update within 24 hours. Each time I never received a call and had to reach out again.

2 weeks after I was told I'd receive a refund in a couple business days, they then said they are still "waiting for the airline to send the refund", which was a lie because I'd contacted the airline FIRST when the flight was canceled and they were able to give me part of the card numbers it was refunded to and prove to me that they sent it, and that it was all on Priceline from that point. So then they said again they'd call back with an update within 24 hours, naturally no call so I called again. Allegedly suddenly as of my call 2 days ago they released the money and it's being processed by the banks. I am not confident at this point that it will show in my account when they say it will, and I anticipate calling them again in a couple days arguing for my money. Do not use this company. They are greedy and awful and should be SUED for how they treat people's money.

I booked a hotel under one city but what I got was in a different city, AND the price was higher than from other sites. When we got to our 2 rooms, both had mold and holes in different areas of the rooms. The one rooms door had been broken into. We went back to desk requesting our money back and they refused give me back my money $738.76. Even after communicating to the manager, I was told I had to get my money back from Priceline. There was even a drug deal happening just outside the door. It was unsafe to stay here.

I called them immediately after leaving and finding another place to stay. Priceline admitted they don't look at the places themselves. They rely on customers to report what the places are like. They stated I would have to get my money back from Suburban, they were not supposed to have charged my account. Suburban lied (I have the receipt to prove I was physically there) (and many pictures) and refused to Priceline to give us back our money.

You can only send one picture to Priceline and it is not an easy process. Then once they agreed to give us back our money then we started to have to deal with Booking.com. After months of going around and around for "official" approval of our money back they then said they needed my checking account information to send the money. I opened a second account, sent the information and after waiting the up to 8 weeks the money that was approved to be refunded has never been sent. These companies are located overseas. That turned into a call to Priceline that said the airline would have to fix things. The airline said it was Priceline's error and I'd need to contact them again, & said Priceline had access to update & correct the ticket. Priceline did not deny they had this access, just that there was a glitch when I reserved the flight, carryon isn't included even though my receipt indicated it was and they wouldn't update my ticket. Instead, I could pay airline directly & they would reimburse me. At this point I had spent over two hours trying to correct this for my two hour flight. I paid the airline $138 for my carryon.

After this, it took me another few hours of emails and phone calls & Priceline two weeks to reimburse me. After booking this flight I checked the app again & Priceline is still FALSELY proclaiming a carryon is included for this same flight. It's bad enough that they did this but what's even more despicable is rather than immediately correct it they put me, their customer, in the position of paying more money & waiting two weeks for reimbursement. I called priceline as I only wanted to make a change. Then I get some song and dance that they need to wait for approval and they are so sorry to which I told them I will contact an attorney. It is scam and it only saved me 46.00 and really didn't save me! I ended up paying more for the trip. You pay for changeable flights and yet their mistake and they do not honor? Seeking legal and help from anyone who can make this right. Priceline's slogan should be 'we rip you off and do not honor our policies" worst experience ever with a site. Never asked for trip to be cancelled, she did in error. So now I have to wait for their accounting department to look into and got a case assigned? What? I didn't make the mistake they did... But yet I pay and have to give 5 hours of hold time and stress because their rep messed up.

The best part is there is a flight supervisor, a car supervisor, a hotel supervisor so you get the pleasure of telling your entire story again to be transferred for another hour. Do yourself a favor and book elsewhere. Unless you have money to throw away, book direct. I hope no one ever experiences what I did. It was a nightmare and cost me over 400.00 more. They do not tell you that the car is not refundable, the airline will charge you a fee? Like it's a joke and a scam. I asked for a change on a reservation and they cancelled reservation in error which the admit and I have to pay? So wrong on every level.

I would not recommend using this site for booking hotels. I recently booked a hotel through Priceline on October 15th, 2024, under the clear impression that I would receive a full refund if I needed to cancel (until a certain date). However, upon receiving the email confirmation, I was shocked to find that the cancellation policy had changed—now stating that cancellations needed to be made by October 13th for a full refund. Any cancellations after this date would only receive a partial refund. This made no sense, as it's impossible to cancel a reservation two days before I even made the booking! Priceline’s initial communication was clearly misleading, and this unreasonable policy was never mentioned during the booking process.

I contacted their customer service multiple times, each call resulting in long hold times. After finally getting through, Priceline refused to reimburse me, even though their online communication was contradictory and misleading. I’m extremely disappointed in their lack of accountability and refusal to correct this mistake. Beware of booking with Priceline—they do not stand behind their policies.

Europcar changed my rental car stating the car I reserved was too small for our luggage (although they never showed us the car we reserved). They upgraded to another car but did not give us credit for our deposit. Europcar stated after the fact they were never paid the deposit and I needed to get the refund from Priceline. Priceline has refused multiple times to refund my deposit simply stating "its out or our hands". Truly a scam on both parties! We have stopped payment on Europcar throughout CC, but too late to stop the charge from Priceline. Stay away from both if you're traveling internationally!

I contacted this vendor in advance of our departure and got the run around for extremely incompetent customer service representatives. I was told to call back once we were home so they could confirm our checkout. After that followup was told in no uncertain terms that I should expect to hear back in 5-7 days and "no need " to call back.

I learned today that getaroom.com, their "partner" which they fail to name and the hotel rejected the refund due to severe weather. If you use these budget services either knowingly or unknowingly you WILL assume any and all travel risks. Double check the websites you use for reservations as they are not all the same. When I got to the desk at Hertz they didn't have the reservation because Priceline failed to mention that the reservation had to be TWO DAYS in advance. I had to book directly with Hertz at the counter. I find out later that Priceline charged me for the insurance, EVEN THOUGH I NEVER RENTED THE CAR! I called them up and they told me I had 2 HOURS to let them know that I didn't need the insurance. It is a sham. Stay away.

I have been a customer for over 10 years and I have to say I have had the worse experience with Priceline today that I plan to leave and start using other sites for booking all my hotels and vacation spots. Here is what happen: I have a new computer so I went to Priceline.com and tried to book a hotel to visit the doctors for my sister's cancer. After booking the hotel for $147 a night I realized I was not signed into my Priceline VIP account. When I went to call them the man (what sounded like a call center from INDIA) said nothing but I can't help you (Priceline please listen to the recording that you say you do). When I asked for manager or supervisor he said no good because it's a long wait. I said I would wait and he said ok and after a few seconds the call ended.

I called another number for VIP members and the lady said there is nothing she can do for me and I asked her I have used you and only you for the last years and this is the way you treat me? She said I could go online and fill out form to get a credit but will not work. I asked her: "is this the way you treat your loyal customers for 10 years". And she said, "I cannot help you sir." I then went online to file the price guarantee form online and you can't upload a picture more than 3MB large. If you want to upload a picture for all the items they are asking for for proof it takes a larger file. I uploaded the photo with all the information they asked for but smaller picture so the Priceline website would accept the file size.

Then I get back a email saying the picture does not give visible evidence to the lessor price. If the Priceline customer service would just expand the picture file they could see everything. (All computers have the expand button). So now I know how Priceline doesn't stand by their price guarantee. They don't allow you to download a big enough picture to show all the information they are asking for. (WHAT A SCAM on Priceline's part). As a very loyal customer - you have lost my business and I plan to write this review on other sites like Google because of Priceline's flat out lies when it comes to price guarantee and their own employees know it.

I will take my business elsewhere like Expedia, etc.. Expedia has always stood behind my wife when she booked flights, package deals and cars. Unlike Priceline for me. I hav even attached to this review the price of what I paid and dates and hotel and also the price listed on the website for hotel, date, price for Proof. Whoops, Priceline made me download much smaller files so they would be posted.

We booked with Priceline and spoke with a representative “Rose”. Nice lady but couldn’t fix the booking Priceline screwed up like no other. They booked us a family of three, father, mother and daughter, daughter is two years old. They did not offer the chance to view the seating or pick seats, which isn’t uncommon of itself, I’ve encountered this in the past over the last 2 1/2 decades of flying internationally and domestically. But every other instance, the airline always always puts the child next to one of the parents. But not Priceline they put our child in the back of the plane with strangers in a center seat. And even after I spoke to the supervisor, they kept apologizing and saying they were sorry for the inconvenience! That word just rubs me raw, INCONVENIENCE. That’s what they consider a two-year-old sitting in the back of the plane by herself, is an inconvenience. Delta offered to fix their Incompetence, For a fee, of course! $150. I highly recommend that you never ever book Priceline or suffer their incompetence.

After arriving at the rental car center, the Dollar agent was having trouble finding the reservation. I showed him the number, and he indicated it was for a different Dollar location about 20 miles away. Of course he had another car available that was about 2 1/2 times the price. I refused. I tried another reservation through Priceline for another rental car company. What a surprise, they did not have the car either, but did have one that was much more expensive. I had to UBER it to our hotel to avoid losing the room. I had to Uber it back to the airport to find another car. Priceline said they would make it right. They did not.

I am writing this email in regards to a flight that was cancelled from Priceline trip. I originally called because I was unable to check in, the 1st representative assured me that my flight was good and I would proceed to check in at the ticket counter, within an hour I got a notification that my flight was cancelled. I immediately called Priceline to find out what was happening and was told, "Yes your flight is cancelled." This is my second call and I tell the representative to find me a way home even if I have to be rerouted, and I was told it was not his fault. You’re not the airline, so I asked for a supervisor. Now I’m on the third representative which her name was Pauline and said she’s the supervisor. Again I asked to be rerouted and she said there were no flights leaving Atlanta to get me home.

She then offered me a refund. I told her I need to get home. Not a refund, if I’m going to get a refund it’s going to need to be the full refund for my inconvenience due to the fact I’m already looking up my own ticket to get home and it cost me $311 plus taxes because I didn’t have faith in Priceline to get me home! Priceline was prepared to leave me stranded without knowing my current situation monetarily. I am the customer and had to do my own leg work to get back home safely. Not to mention the embarrassment that this caused. I was supposed to receive a call back which never happened as well. Again me as the customer is doing all the work, so I called Priceline back again after being extremely frustrated and exhausted with figuring out how to get myself home.

I have asked to speak to a manager not supervisor multiple times and was denied, I asked for a corporate phone number and the first time given a incorrect phone number, only to have to call back again and get another representative that was not able to help with my request. This is utterly unacceptable and ridiculous! I have worked in customer service for a large company for over 20+ years and would never send a customer through so much hassle!

To keep offering me $99 dollars and a discount for a rental car or hotel is a joke. I paid Priceline in good faith for a round trip ticket, that I’m supposed to be some type of vip member, wow is this how you treat vip and or any other customers, unacceptable. I’m sure you all don’t care about the fact you will be losing a little small customer and I will be deleting my account because who am I right. I will also be making sure my family and friends delete their accounts as well. All I’m asking is that you YOUR COMPANY MAKE THIS RIGHT

We didn't have travel insurance (which cost as much as our car rental, so what's the point), but you'd think a hurricane would be good cause for making an exception to the cancellation policy. Little did I know that the Ramada is 1/3 hotel & 2/3s motel, & I was assigned to the motel! I’m not too much of a snob and the rate was about what a motel would be, but the whole affair seemed like a bait-and-switch. I won’t use that again, and Priceline is behind Trivago in my choices now.

I searched for a resort in Vermont, what I selected looked like the web page from the resort, photos, amenities, etc., so I booked a room for 3 nights. Then I needed to change the reservation, called the phone number on the email only to find out the reservation was made through Priceline. There is nothing on any communications to indicate Priceline!! I knew the reservations were not refundable, but there is nothing in the communications that states the dates can’t be moved! I can change the reservation to add nights, but not to move nights, what a scam.

I thought that I was booking directly through the resort as the web page gave that impression. There is something very wrong about Priceline selling through a fake website. I called the resort and they know about the website issues but could only recommend in the future to look for the Okemo logo. They have plenty of open rooms, and the room prices directly though the Okemo web site are lower price compared to what I booked. The resort was unable to help because the reservation is through the fake website. SCAM, SCAM, SCAM!!!

Went to Best Western Yulee because it said "Pet friendly". You check in at the Hotel. First thing they do is charge you 100 dollar penalty for not booking Best Western. Then when you arrive they code all charges as Pet fees. NOT HOTEL STAYS. Then when Priceline pays Best Western it's coded as "Hotel Stay" while the Best Western keeps the Pet fees they keep. Then if you complain they blame Priceline. And it never gets resolved. THIS IS HOW THIS PRICE GOUGING SCAMS WORKS!. Charged 150 dollars for 2 dogs after our Governor asked them to waive them. Once arriving to destinations such as car rentals and hotels it seemed that by the time you get there you have to pay everything in full. This company should be taken to court and shut down. I experienced the worst renting a car. I thought it was paid for in the package deal then I had to pay a 700 dollar rental fee. Second the hotel was another issue. A deposit of 1000 was taken as well. That became an issue. By the time I was in Florida for 4 days I spent a total of 3500 dollars for a simple vacation through this company. While it may have been my fault that I didn’t sign into the Priceline account affiliated with the email I wanted to use, the fact that I couldn’t contact a human at Priceline to try to find my trip based on the payment information is absurd. I was infinitely redirected to chat bots who were unable to assist me. As a result, I was charged for a booking I was unable to use. Priceline did not give me a refund. I ate that and still gave them another chance for this to be the result a couple of years later, people should be treated better than this. Priceline is just one of many travel "stores," but I rarely get a better deal than I could get elsewhere. And when I have needed customer service, they have been pathetic. This last weekend was the kicker. I stayed at the Days Inn at Ocean Shores. I made good time and arrived an hour early. The front desk receptionist looked like a gang-banger, which is somewhat forgivable because that is the new normal for hiring. But then she told me it there would be surcharge to check me in early even if my room was ready It had been a long drive, so I asked if I could at least use a restroom before I went to kill some time. She said no, I couldn't use their restroom. In 59 years, I have never visited even a motel with those policies. I went to the beach and called Priceline. I told them I did not want to give my money to Days Inn and would prefer anywhere else.

The rep was polite enough, and said he'd call the hotel and see if they would release me from my reservation without penalty, even for the second night, but the answer was "no." End of story. So I stayed. The room itself was fine, what I would expect for a budget hotel and it met my needs. However the lock was extremely stiff and I ended up getting trapped in my room. When I called the front desk, there as no answer.

I tried calling Priceline to see if they could call the hotel on my behalf, and they hung up on me. I tried calling again and was on hold for a long time. I considered screaming for help. Surely it is a fire hazard to be trapped in a room like that with only one exit. After 20 minutes of struggle, I finally got the door open. I found a staff person, but she did not speak good enough English to converse with. There was no one at the front desk, so I turned in my keys and left. I have tried to leave a review on the Priceline website, but can't find a way to do it. Multiple calls to Priceline, and no one knows how to leave a review. It is really quite unbelievable.

While traveling, we needed a last minute hotel stay and decided to try to find a cheap place for the night through Priceline. The area we were staying, some of the hotels charged an extra damage deposit which we did not want to deal with so we called priceline before booking to make sure there were no hidden damage deposits etc. The CSR on the phone, while pleasant, barely spoke english. His name was Sergio. This was the WORST experience ever. I told him were were needing a room for that night and checking out the following day. I had to spell my name and everything else 2-3 times for him to understand. He confirmed we would not have to pay an extra deposit, he confirmed everything would be sent in an email which we appreciated because we could not understand half of what he said.

We go to the hotel only to find out he still spelled my name wrong and he booked it for the following Sunday which was completely useless to us as we were not going to be in the area then and still need a room for THAT night. When I call priceline I'm told it was not refundable, not modifiable and we were out the money we paid. I completely understand if I do not show up for a prepaid reservation you have every right to keep the money. But he put the wrong date in and that is not the date requested. I asked for it to be escalated to a supervisor and she told me they would have to review the recording and it would take at least 24 hours and we would receive an email.

Their conclusion: that I did indeed request September 7th but Sergio recapped the call so there would be no refund. So because we did not understand what he was saying and he was a complete idiot, we were out the money. Don't use priceline, too many hidden fees, hidden agendas and shadiness. That definitely works in their favor to have someone just put any random date in and make money off of people who cannot undo the damage.

I finally call them again today and now they say it's too late to cancel thus it was not approved by the hotel. Priceline is such a fraud and scammer. I WILL NEVER EVER USE PRICELINE EVER AGAIN NOR WILL I RECOMMEND TO ANYONE!!!

The hotel did not reserve a non smoking room for me (as requested). The room was a dump. Flies in the bathroom, someone else's junk in the drawers, water-stained furniture, damaged/unpainted walls. When I complained to Priceline, they transferred me to Booking.com. So you can wait for customer service, get transferred, wait for customer service @Booking.com. Finally get through, get disconnected. Same story again. Finally get through again. They say they can't hear me. They try 3 times but can never hear me. Hang up, go through the various trees, wait times again. When I actually get through I explain the problem (they sent me a blank email saying I could get a refund of $18 but did not tell me how to do that), they hang up on me.

Priceline is no longer allowing cancellations for their vehicle reservations. This is unclear in the wording when reserving the vehicle. In the past they have allowed cancellations, so this was also a surprise when I went to cancel.

If I could give them zero stars, I would. This company feels like a scam, especially in partnership with Xcover, which sells questionable warranties for bookings. There are many better options available. Save your time and money, and avoid purchasing from them.

Priceline are scammers. I try to change my date and Priceline wanted to charge me $99.00 rebooking fee and when I called airline they changed it for free with no problem. Be very careful with Priceline when booking with them.

This is a Fraudulent company! Fraudulent! Fraudulent! I just sent a complaint to Better Business Bureau. I have confirmation of Aug 15-18 for hotel reservations. Once to hotel they stated they couldn’t find but dates for the 16-18. When calling Priceline they stated seen my confirmation for the hotel for all dates 15-18. With still nothing resolved for an extensive amount of time they call me back and say they see that I TRIED to cancel that date, which is correct I did in Initially TRY when by human error, hit the wrong date before realizing, after paying for it.

I tried immediately to cancel that date but they stated it’s NON refundable to cancel the first night of a stay (even way over a month out, on July 9). Therefore we said DON’T cancel the reservation then, we will just stay there that night. Well apparently Priceline cancelled it anyway! Also, without sending or stating confirmation in ANY way or form. So I had to pay $177.79 to stay when I had already paid for it!!

When trying to communicate with customer service multiple times and dates and explain that they were the ones that made the mistake, which we are human we do, but that’s their mistake they that they should reimburse me for . It’s not my fault they cancelled it after I clearly said, NO Don’t cancel it! Any they have hung up on me/muted my calls/saying they lost me/not calling me back/being rude and refusing to take accountability for their actions. They say t have the recording of me TRYING to cancel the reservation, well yeah but also in that recording you clearly hear me say No don’t cancel it then! Leave it alone! This has been a huge run around.

I have asked for proof of me (supposedly) cancelling and asking where is the confirmation email of the cancellation and they have NOT responded to me since. Like I said I have filed a complaint with Better Business Bureau. I’ll never use the company again! I’ll also advise others not too, especially after reviewing other customer’s unfortunate experiences with them.

I would have given them a 0 star if possible. They are unreliable, unprofessional, and hard to deal with. I booked an airfare ticket with them that showed a luggage allowance as it still shows on the confirmation receipt, but the airline charged me stating that Priceline messed up. Priceline admitted that their system made a mistake, and that I should send them proof of payment I made. I sent them the documents and they confirmed receipt making a refund promise. Now, I have wasted so much time calling them, being bounced at different departments, and still waiting for the refund to be processed. This seems absolutely a scam to me.

I have purchased for one rate of 173 dollars which is shown as per screenshot but higher charge of 295 dollars has been deducted. I have contacted regarding the fault with attached screenshot but they did not even cancel it or return the excess money I paid. I am being forcefully asked to use it definitely else they will not return money whatever they have deducted.

Pure trash. I contacted them after checking into a hotel on their site. I was in the hotel for possibly 10 to 15 minutes. Discovered that they had dried vomit all over the bed, stains on the sheets, stains on the mattress, dead bedbugs, alive bedbugs, tattered Furniture. I went to the front desk. The clerk refused to receive or review the information. I stated to her, "Call Priceline." They reached out to the property. They did not answer. They follow email. They stated that they will not refund my money, because is that the discretion of the hotel to refund my money they will never get any more of my business and I hope that they shut down. I will be making a BBB Claim against Priceline.
