When I saw a booking for an upgraded room on Priceline at such a good deal, I jumped at the opportunity. I booked immediately and emailed the hotel to confirm my reservation. The hotel responded, confirming my reservation but stated that I would be staying in a regular room instead of the upgraded one I booked. The next day, I called Priceline to explain that my reservation was for an upgraded room, not a regular one. They assured me they would look into it and get back to me. A month passed with no response. After following up via email with no reply, I called again. This time, Priceline informed me that the upgraded room I booked was not available at the time of booking, so they placed me in a regular room instead.
This is unacceptable for two reasons:
1. I distinctly remember checking the hotel’s website and seeing that the upgraded room was available when I booked.
2. It is unreasonable to downgrade my reservation without my consent and expect me to be satisfied with it.
I eventually found a customer service manager’s email and reached out directly. They responded, suggesting that I contact the hotel myself to arrange and pay for the room upgrade, with the promise of reimbursement upon sending them a receipt. I find it completely unacceptable that Priceline would place the burden on me, their customer, to rectify a mistake they made. Furthermore, the hotel operates in a different time zone, with business hours that do not align with mine, making this process even more difficult. When I expressed my discomfort with paying for the upgrade upfront and asked why Priceline couldn’t handle it directly, they simply responded that they couldn’t do it. This entire experience has been frustrating and disappointing. This was my first time using Priceline, and it will certainly be my last.

I hate that I have to come on Trustpilot to complain but I feel like it is a valuable resource to working people like me. I book hotels regularly for my employees, and myself, for business and personal travel. I use Priceline for booking flights, they are good and fair on the prices for these. Transparent and you pay what they say you will. However when you book a hotel, the price they show you is nowhere near what you will actually pay.
Case in point, I just booked 2 nights for my employee in Salina, KS, and I looked at CLC Lodging and Priceline, they were similar in price. So I called Priceline reservations to add my driver's name to reservation. When the CSR told me the total price, I told her that seemed awful high and was it taxes and fees, she said just taxes. I asked again? Are you sure? She assured me yes that it was. So as soon as I got off the phone, I checked CLC Lodging, and their total price was 196.78 and Priceline 228.90 Hotel subtotal $175.74. Price per night $87.87. Number of nights 2. Taxes and fees $53.24. Total charged $228.9
This is straight off of my itinerary. I have spent the last hour trying to get them to price match the total price but they won't. I feel that their tactics are very deceptive and non-transparent. Had the CSR told me that truth, I would of said - Thank you but I will book thru CLC Lodging, who are totally transparent and do not charge huge fees. It is only a matter of $30 but I do not like to be lied, fooled, or mislead, it is a matter of integrity and honesty to me. Some weeks I book several reservations a week and this could add up. Never again Priceline for Hotels! Date of experience: August 17, 2024

Priceline can no longer be trusted as an ethical upright place of booking, the best thing to do by word of mouth is to spread the word and collectively unite to take Priceline to court. There's supposedly no communication between departments within the company at all.

I thought I was booking directly through the hotel, but when I checked in, realized it was through Priceline. My mistake for not being careful. I got charged for my stay twice (over $500). I've been calling since July 27 and have been told numerous times I would be refunded, and supposedly it's been escalated to management multiple times. Still no refund as of 8/15. We will have to do a chargeback on our CC.

I booked a room with the special rates for in Hays, KS so I had no clue what motel they would pick. They give you "possibilities" of brands and Quality Inn wasn't one of them on the list so I didn't think that that was where I'd be put. When I got put there, I called 3 different numbers within in 10 minutes of reserving and begged for a different motel due to the fact I had had HORRIBLE experiences the last 3 times I had tried to stay at the quality inn in hays. They were no help at even considering what I was saying and I was stuck with a $70 charge for a room me and my son couldn't even stand to stay in!! I know it's a non-refundable non-cancelable rate, but come on!! Never again will I use this site! Rip off!!

If I could leave a lower review, I would. Avis Rental car pickup time was incorrect. Avis refused to assist because it was booked through Priceline. Priceline refused to adjust the booking, which would leave me stuck at the airport for 5 hours. The rep was very rude and refused to allow me to speak with anyone else. I was told I could not alter nor cancel the booking. I will NEVER use them again. I blame myself for looking for a deal. Next time, I'll just book directly through Enterprise like I usually do.

I booked our flights and car rental through Priceline. No issues with the flight but the car rental they suggested has been a nightmare. Nu Car Rentals in Denver. Scammers. Do not use this business. Reserved a small compact car through Priceline months before the trip. Paid almost $600. Get there to pick up the car, and they don't have the compact car we reserved. How convenient. We paid an additional $300 deposit. Which we were told we would get back immediately after returning the car. Which we did on time. In the same condition as we took the car, of course. We returned the car on August 3. Still have not seen a dime credited to our account.
Wish I had done my research in this scam company before booking through them. Looks like a lot of customers have been cheated. Maybe a class action lawsuit would be the way to get our money back. How businesses like this stay open and how this is legal, I'll never know. I will not rest until the money that I work hard for is returned. They lied to my husband and said the money was released and our bank was the issue. Not true. Had to file a dispute with our bank to recover our money. It's a shame people have to go through such measure to get back money that is stolen by the scammer business. They should be put out of business. Do not use them!

We used Priceline to book a stay at Hutton hotel in Nashville. The reason for our trip was for my disabled mother's surgery. We arrived, paid for valet services, and walked inside (Which isn't easy for my mother). The front desk told us that priceline booked us but they didn't have a room available. We had to take all of our belongings back to our vehicle. We spent the next 2 hours on the phone with priceline. They were "trying" to find us another place to stay. After two hours of being put on hold and them telling us they were still looking, we told them nevermind and to just refund our money. We found another hotel within 10 minutes. So I'm not sure why they were having so much trouble. Use ANY other third party!

That’s funny.,,, I did reservation for my flights. Paid for it. They emailed me time and airline that picked, after 10 hours they change the time of my flight in very inconvenient time and different unknown airlines. I called Priceline as I received a message from them to call and they stated that they did not receive my request for a refund of the price difference which was ridiculous as They messaged me. However, for some reason the price I paid that I thought was for 2 adults and 1 child was $1100 more than the price on their website for 2 adults in the same hotel, same dates and same room. No one can tell me why. Had to call a dozen times only to get the runaround of “we will give you an answer in 24-48 hours” then that turned to 3-5 business days with still no resolution 2.5 weeks later. So, we traveled and I had to pay for all 5 carry-on bags. They asked me to called back and I explained it I had purchased a deal... So, after a few days, somebody else called back asking to confirm my address to send the check for the $740 reimbursement. I recently had a bad customer service experience. I accidentally made a reservation for the wrong day and was trying to get a refund for the room I didn’t stay in. I called customer service to ask for the refund and I got someone who was very hard to understand due to speaking fast with an accent. I very nicely asked to speak to someone else because she wasn’t understanding me and I couldn’t understand her. So upon asking (very nicely) to speak to someone else, she groaned and hung up on me. I was nice then but I won’t be now. If you’re hiring someone to do a job that requires communication, it’s probably best to hire someone with a good grasp on the English language. If I book a room in India I would understand if the person had a heavy Indian accent. But this is America and it’s not worth saving money hiring cheap 3rd world employees. Do better Priceline!

On April 15, 2024, I purchased round-trip tickets (trip number# **) for my son to come to Texas for my wedding on June 8, 2024. He was to fly in on June 7th (conf# **) with AA out of O'Hare and into Austin, TX, with a return flight (GSNXCK) out of Austin on June 9th back to O'Hare. When I purchased in April I also bought the PROTECTION PLAN just in case he could not make it and my money could be refunded back, As suspected my son could not make the flight I reached out to Priceline immediately to cancel the flight on or around June 1st. Priceline informed me that my ticket was nonrefundable and that I could not receive the money I paid refunded. I explained to the rep that I purchased the trip protection plan and according to that plan, my trip would be refunded 100% in full if I had to cancel the trip.
I spoke to several different reps at Priceline and NO ONE took the time to stand behind a product or service that they advertise on their site as protection of a cancelled trip. There is nowhere on the company website for Priceline or the protection plan company (Xcover) that states I will NOT receive my full refund if I purchase an economy (basic) seat. The airline's policy has nothing to do with the purchase I made with Priceline and the Trip Protection I paid for that was advertised during my purchase.
I called my bank Wells Fargo to get my money back and they offered me my money while they did their investigation with Priceline, and after their findings, same issue I was having they also had. I have purchased many tickets and booked hotels, and rental services with this company, and from this point, I will never do business that cheaply with their customers. I purchased the TRIP PROTECTION for a reason and I won't have the money that I paid to Priceline paid back to me in full at 100% ASAP. For the record I have also reached out to the protection plan service (claim # **) about my refund and I only received an email from them. Customer service with this company is a joke. Priceline, rentalcars.com, and booking.com are all probably owned by the same group from what I think I'm understanding. I did a reservation with one of them, but they never sent confirmation email and put it under a funky phone number and not my email. I was never provided a trip number. Figuring out how to cancel was a NIGHTMARE. I was told by the rental car company it was with priceline who had the reservation and I needed to cancel with them since it was third party. Priceline told me it was with rentalcars.com. Rentalcars.com said they didn't have it. I couldn't even contact bookings.com (but they are the ones who charged me).
Eventually, eventually, many many wasted hours of my life later I figured out it WAS at priceline even though they told me it wasn't (and they had found my reservation in their system and even gave me the trip number- but then denied it being their reservation). It really was a priceline reservation though. But LOTS (!!) of wasted time because they have sloppy systems that allow a phone number that isn't a phone number, no email etc (and honestly- I don't think I entered my phone number or email wrong. But even if I had, it means theyy don't even have the most basic of error checking that most companies have). And again- Priceline literally had pulled up my trip and denied it being their reservation.
UUUUUUUUUUGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH does not begin to describe how this group sucked the joy out of my day. I had to be an intense detective and dedicate hours of my life and even then it was dicey. I just... can't. Will never, ever ever use any of these three companies again. And for the love of all that is good, put a "zero" in your system to allow someone to speak with a representative if they don't have a trip number of phone number that you're recognizing.

On July 29/24 planned on staying at Great Falls Montana after a 12 hour drive from Denver. Went online and Priceline came up so decided to book with them. Priceline chose Sleep Inn at the Airport. Instead of saying there was no available rooms Priceline just changed the check in date for August 4th. I did not notice this until my email confirmation. I contacted Priceline and informed them that these dates don’t work as we were just passing through that night on our way back home to Canada. They said they would reimburse me if Sleep Inn would cancel the check in date. Sleep Inn states they have a no cancellation policy and will take my $229.00 US without any service for the date I specified. This is a scam, I will never book with Priceline again or Sleep Inn at the airport in Great Falls Montana. They took Senior’s money with no service.

This was the worst company I have ever dealt with. During our recent trip, Priceline charged our credit card, but when we arrived at our resort in Mexico, the paperwork showed that Priceline had given the resort a declined credit card. As a result, the resort put a $1900 hold on our credit card. For the next two days, we tried to contact Priceline. Eventually, they provided the resort with another credit card that cleared. This was our first and last time using with Priceline.

You will get some very cheap trips and you may luck out, but they are most definitely not there when you need them. So long as nothing unusual happens and you don’t need customer service you will be golden. However, if something goes wrong, good luck to you.

I decided to book a quick getaway to Vegas. Well, I pressed all the buttons. Nonstop from Michigan, hotel with breakfast, coffee, microwave. I should have stayed at a motel 6. Nope, I got planet Hollywood. No coffee pot, no microwave. Oh and let's not forget the flight!! I left Detroit, arrived in Denver, had a 4 hour layover, went to Vegas. Arrived at the hotel, checked in, everything's good right, nope. Was charged $400 for a resort fee so now my savings from Priceline literally went back up to the original price of the room. And then to get back home 4 days later. I left Las Vegas at 9:30 a.m., arrived in Newark at 5:30 because of the time change rate was actually only a 5-hour flight. But then I was laid over again from United airlines for an additional two and a half hours. If you add up all the time I spent in airports and/or on a plane, it was almost an entire day 16 hours, all thanks to Priceline.

This place was so bad I would not let a dog stay there. I booked this on Priceline who should be ashamed to be associated with this dump. We drove 7 hours from Philadelphia PA & was very tired. When we tried to check in the manager P. ** who I later found out is the owner was not friendly & I was asked to pay $150 cash for incidentals after 2 of my credit cards were declined. I later called my banks who said there was nothing wrong with my cards. Through Priceline I booked 3 rooms for 3 nights totaling $645.00. After being given room keys we proceeded to the rooms. As we went into room 105 it was disgusting. You could smell the mold upon entering, it was dirty, roaches, broken light fixture, mold on the ceiling & mold in the refrigerator. The bed looked like the sheets were never changed & there was no wash clothes or towels in the room.
My wife then went to the front desk to get another room & My sister & I went to check the other rooms. Room 109 was worst than 105 with the same problems including the mold in the refrigerator. Room 111 was worse than 109 with the same problems including the mold in the refrigerator & the bed. The front desk gave my wife the key to Room 115 which was the worst of all. It was filthy dirty, mold in the room & the refrigerator was not on & the inside was covered in black MOLD. Upon inspecting the bathroom my wife found a USED FEMININE NAPKIN in the trash can & upon uncovering the bed we found blood on the sheet. We took pictures & proceeded to the front desk. I showed the trash can to the front desk agent who was horrified. I told her we were leaving & I wanted my money back. She gave me my $150 incidentals deposit but said to call the manager in the morning.
I was then left to try to find somewhere for my family to stay as we were 7 hours from home & tired. I then had to travel another 1-1/2 hours to Kilmarnock Va, to find another hotel which I had to pay additional $1200.00 more dollars. Priceline said they could only give me whatever the manager gave them. Priceline called the manager, (who said he was not the manager) & spoke with him & he said that he was only willing to give me $430 of my original $645 because his maid said that someone stole a towel from the bathroom. With the condition of those rooms I would not have taken a towel if there were towels in the bathrooms. When I spoke to the manager he said that he was not going to give me my $215 back & he did not care what I did & hung up the phone. The sad thing is that upon checking the reviews afterward I found that these conditions have been going on since 2015. County court here I come.

Hidden in their policies is a list of all insurance companies they accept. Shame on me for not digging deeper because my insurance company was not one of the ten companies they work with. I went through Priceline and made reservations for us to stay in a hotel until our power is restored, also reserved a rental car, which once I arrived at Enterprise, there were no cars available, from Indiana to Illinois, which I understood due to the power outage.
At this point, I called customer service, to see if they would accommodate me with changing the date, due to the situation, the customer service representative wasn’t friendly, and wouldn’t even try to accommodate me, so I asked to be connected to a manager or supervisor I was left on hold for 45 minutes to an hour, After being on hold that alone, someone did come to the line didn’t say anything and hung up the call, unfortunate that a big company like Priceline wouldn’t have something put in place to help people in their time and we had a tornado which caused us to have no electricity for some days. Priceline keeps insisting they will or have refunded me and nothing is ever in my bank. Last one was an actual email stating it would take a few days and if nothing call my bank. I waited 10 business days from the last one and still nothing and my bank says there is also nothing pending. They constantly say what they think I want to hear and it’s been 6 weeks of fighting this. I never used the rental car and deserve the money back. They are always telling me it’s escalated to the manager but I still hear nothing back. Scammers!

Totally disappointed and dissatisfied with the service provided by Priceline. I placed a hotel Reservation on July 2nd at 11:11am for the 4th of July. Supposedly it had to be canceled on the 1st to receive a refund. I read cancel within 24 hours. So, I canceled the reservation at 8:23am on the 3rd. Please explain how you can legally request that a reservation be canceled before the date it was made? I was also told that because I canceled due to finding a cheaper rate directly through the hotel; instead of calling Priceline I would not be refunded. Just next time call. So, are the prices listed on the website not truly the lowest price??? The price listed on the web varies from contacting a representative? So, your organization isn’t really looking out for the consumer! Terrible tactics!!!

Priceline is a scam. They charged me $300 for a car rental and $100 for a hotel rental. When I arrived, the car rental business said that Priceline doesn’t pay for anything. You have to pay at that business. Same thing for the hotel. Priceline doesn’t pay a thing towards your stay. You are still responsible for the total payment. I called customer service, however, they stated they don’t deal with payment issues. They gave me a third party number that never answered, even after repeated calls. I emailed but never heard a response back. It’s been over a month. Don’t use Priceline. They are a complete scam.

Priceline is such a scam. So I booked a flight and hotel package through them. I get to the hotel and everything goes wrong. From animal hair embedded in the carpet, to the rub and sink being stopped up, to the toliet flooding, to the room being dirty, the water gets turned off from 7am-1pm. I ended having an asthma attack and had to check out early. The hotel apologizes and issues me a refund. I follow up with Priceline and they tell me that a refund was not approved. So of course I call the hotel back and confirm that not only had it already been approved but that it was released back to Priceline.
I call Priceline back and decided to three-way the hotel. Not only did the representative hear the refund details but they heard it from a manager. Next thing I know Priceline is telling me the 3rd party partner only approved a 1 day refund. Then they claimed that this 3rd party spoke with a manager from the hotel. I called the hotel back and found out that the mystery supervisor they claimed to speak to doesn't exist. Then the rude and unprofessional supposedly supervisor named Marlon from Priceline began talking over me then hung up on me when I asked to speak with his manager

I recently stayed at the Hampton Inn by Hilton - Washington - Downtown Convention Center for a business trip from June 25 to June 28, and my experience with Priceline was disappointing. Issues with Receipt Details. One major problem was the lack of detailed information on the receipt for taxes and fees, which caused issues with my company's expense reimbursement process. Despite multiple attempts to resolve this, I was met with unhelpful responses. Poor Customer Support. I spoke with a supervisor, case number #**, who, after placing me on a long hold, ultimately pushed the inquiry back on me. I had already contacted Priceline directly for these details, but they were unable to assist me, instead referring me back to the hotel. This back-and-forth left me frustrated and without the necessary information.
Recommendation. Due to Priceline's inability to provide the detailed receipts needed for business travel expense reimbursement and their lack of effective customer support, I would not recommend using Priceline for business trips. Their service was inadequate for handling business travel needs, and the customer support did not instill confidence. Conclusion. In conclusion, while the Hampton Inn by Hilton provided a satisfactory stay, the booking experience through Priceline was marred by significant issues that impacted my business travel expense process. Future business travelers should consider other booking platforms that offer better support and detailed receipts.

BEWARE of using Priceline.com, because they are liars! When I recently used Priceline on July 6th, 2024, they promised upfront that I have 48 hours to cancel my hotel, car and plane reservations; but then after I paid them $2,077.25 for the package, I received a 12-page printout which said that the $690 payment to Alamo Rent A Car was non-refundable and non-transferable. I had planned for a trip to Bigfork, Montana on August 14-18 in 2024. It was for a 3-day Banjo Camp, but the store gave me wrong information and I got signed up for guitar instead, so 36 hours after I made my reservations I had to cancel my reservations.
American Airlines allows 48 hours, so they refunded my money. United Airlines only allows 24 hours, but they kindly still refunded my money. I was able to cancel the 4 day hotel reservation in Kalispell, Montana (a 35 minute drive from Bigfork). Only Alamo refused to refund even one penny of my $690. I called Priceline and after waiting for 30-minutes a woman in the Philippines answered the phone. She said I was out of luck and couldn't get any of my $690 back. I felt sick and angry, but it wasn't her fault, she just answers the phone; it's the ungodly thieves at Priceline that are to blame. Priceline lies to people to lure them in, promising savings up to $600 by purchasing a so-called "deal." But the truth is that if you go directly to the hotel, car rental company or airline, you can find cheaper prices on your own and eliminate the greedy middle man.
My trip from Pensacola to Kalispell on August 14-18, and return trip, required 4 flights. Priceline greedily charge me $8 per flight for fees ($32). That was just for the planes. Priceline takes advantage of their customers, making false promises and exaggerated claims. They deceitfully lure you in with bold bullcrap promises, while deliberately minimizing critically important details, like warning you that your money is non-refundable. And the alleged "travel insurance" is a sick joke. If you purchase that useless insurance, the policy rejects 99% of the reasons for which people normally would need to cancel their trip.
I took the time to read the policy. If you go into pregnancy labor, they won't pay. If you have a stroke or heart attack and had a pre-existing health condition like diabetes or high blood pressure, they won't refund any of your money. The insurance is a cruel scam! I will NEVER use Priceline again. They cost me $690. Why would Priceline even use such a wicked greedy company like Alamo, who rip people off. I cancelled my reservations after just 36 hours of making them, and wouldn't have needed the rent car for 5 weeks into the future, but Priceline and Alamo screwed me and refused to refund even on penny of my $690. That should be criminal! It sure is ungodly, unethical and sinful; and a holy God in Heaven sees the injustice of these shady companies like Priceline and Alamo (Ecclesiastes 5:8). I want justice! I was horribly cheated by Priceline and Alamo. Priceline Trip Number: **.

It's a Wingate hotel owned by Wyndham. That was a bad mistakes. As I checked in to the hotel. As Priceline rated 3 stars but nothing like a 1 star or I would rate no star at all. The lounge was so dark and dirty and the front desk checkin construction equipments everywhere. As I didn’t see it fit. As it shows all 36 picture for the hotel on their website.
Since I already book I checked in. Oh man, the elevator to the 2nd was so nasty dirty and smell very bad. The hallways to the room is full of construction very dirty and dusty. I know this is going to bad when I open the door to the 2 rooms I check in. It as no lights dirty and dusty, furnitures were old and broken. The bathroom still under construction things and dirty hanging down from the ceiling. Not even safe and healthy to stay in. So I decided to give Priceline a call to see they can recall or help me on anything. I consistently get routed to individuals who claim that they will email me correspondence and set up a return call for 1-2 hrs later and 4-6 later when I call back they have the same info to repeat to me and have not sent the email that was previously promised. I've had to resort to forcing them to send it while I'm on the phone to confirm receipt. This is utterly unacceptable.

This is the beginning of the horror, I contacted Priceline to cancel or modify the booking, I was told to contact 'Routes Car'. Upon contacting 'Routes Car' I was told to contact 'Priceline'.
Long story short, I made a new booking and I sent emails to Car Routes to cancel the booking. Received a confirmation from them, that the booking is cancelled. Guess what... after a month my credit card was charged with the 'no-show' fee. I contacted Routes and Priceline office and ask my money to be returned as I informed them in time about this booking. Still, they did not return my money. Never trust Priceline and Routes Car, they are fraud, cheaters and milk additional money. We booked a hotel through Priceline in Las Vegas. We got to the hotel and they told us they never received the reservation from Priceline and they were now booked and couldn’t get us a room anyway. I called Priceline and all they did is pass the buck. They could barely speak English which made things very difficult. They sent us back in to the hotel (20 minute wait in line), telling us they found our room and gave us a confirmation code. When we got to the front desk and gave them the code, we found out the code Priceline gave us was for someone else’s reservation! The hotel told us Priceline owes us money, Priceline told us the hotel owes us money. We wasted around 2 hours on the phone and in the hotel lobby, and even more time TRYING to find another hotel (they were all booked).
I never got a refund until I called Priceline 2 weeks later. They called the hotel again, found out it was INDEED their own (Priceline’s) fault, and they refunded me with an extra $15 “inconvenience payment”. $15 for hours delaying my vacation, and crazy stress in the middle of busy Las Vegas what a horrible company. I’ve used them for 3 years now for every vacation, but their customer service is absolute crap. And what a debacle. Never using this company again as they left us completely stranded. Here’s a tip: use Priceline’s website for seeing current prices, then call the hotel directly and ask if they’ll match Priceline’s price.

I just rented a car through them. It was a nightmare at the airport. A top brand rental company had no cars to give. Lots of people had been waiting over an hour AFTER waiting a long time in line to sign in. I waited 45 minutes in line before I went to two of the almost empty lines of 2 competitors, both of which had cars but because I booked on Priceline the top brand company (who would have let me cancel and change if I had booked with them) said I couldn't. It was terrible. Priceline's cancellation policy is not worth using them. Period.

I called the hotel- Crowne Plaza Hotel & Resorts Fort Lauderdale Airport/Cruise and they told me to call Priceline. I called Priceline and got an automated system which forced me to try to cancel through that. No option to speak to anyone until after the system made me answer their questions. Then they said I needed to talk to an rep to finish the cancellation- fine, waiting for a call back.
When they finally called, they said my reservation has been cancelled online already and that it was non-refundable. I did not cancel it online like they claim and they just said there was nothing they could do. Worst customer service experience I've ever been through. Here's what my cancellation policy stated on my reservation email. We were 160+ days out from our vacation, keep in mind:
CANCELLATION POLICY: If you do not check in to the hotel on the first day of your reservation and do not alert the hotel in advance, the hotel reserves the right to cancel your reservation and you may be charged for the full amount. I booked a hotel through Priceline.com that was advertised as a 3 star hotel and looked nice from the photos a description posted. BOY WAS IT THE COMPLETE OPPOSITE!!!! This hotel was absolutely foul to say the least. There was old food left on the headboards which makes me seriously question how clean the beds were. There was mold and stains on the carpets, obvious water damage and mold around the windows, open electric receptacles, clearly sinking floors from likely structural issues as we could see steps cracks in the bricks outside the building and obvious cracking and disrepair in the stairwells. Also, by the way, shocking I know but the pool is out of order as well! They say they are going through renovations, who knows how long that has been going on, but there are also light fixtures and smoke detectors just hanging from the wires on the main floor and not attached to anything.
Not only all of the above mentioned issues but as I was walking through the stairwell there were pills of some sort all over the floor. This "hotel" was terrifying and should not be allowed to operate under these conditions and Priceline should be ashamed of themselves for the false advertising they put out. Now they will not give me my money back and it's been a complete runaround. Shame on you Priceline. You are TERRIBLE to deal with and your policies are garbage. When I contacted Priceline within hours I was told there was nothing they could do about it and they would not refund me for the day I was being charged for the hotel that I would not be in the country. When asked why they would charge me for a day at a hotel when they are the ones who booked both the hotel and the flights at the same exact time I was told it had something to do with the algorithm of the computer and it was not their problem.
I spent several weeks contacting them every day to try to resolve the issue and was continually told there is nothing that they would do about it not that there was nothing they could do about it. And to top it off the hotel which I no longer would be able to cancel the room and rebook because of Priceline's agreement with the hotel folks I was informed that if I do not show up by a certain time in the evening on the day the hotel was booked for they could possibly cancel my entire reservation.
It cost me $35 in telephone fees to contact the hotel in Italy and explain to them what had happened. They assured me they would hold the room for me and put a note in their computer months in advance. The most interesting thing is when I spoke to the manager he had been in contact with Priceline and had told them he could without a problem refund the extra day that I was charged for that I would not be there. I suggest a class action lawsuit. They trick Canadians with $ in USD but you don't notice till sometimes after you are billed. My IP address clearly shows I am in Canada. They get me once but they will never get me again as a customer. Nor 100's or people I will warn.

I'm going to save my breath, I don't think I need to since they have 1.1 Stars. They shouldn't advertise under 3.0 hotels if their not support you if you have an issue with a hotel. Last time I deal with Priceline or whoever you are now.

Booked a hotel through Priceline in Hilton Head S.C. The hotel had been allowed to use false pictures. The minor parking lot construction stated ended up being the front half of the building had been removed and the interior hallways were now exposed to the elements. Called Priceline, they did nothing, was able to get a refund through the hotel. I'm a longtime priceline user, so I booked another hotel through them, one I had been to before. Showed up and priceline had not sent the reservation through to the Hotel. The front desk clerk cannot find any confirmation number or my name in the system. I sat in the lobby with an exhausted young family for over an hour trying to get this resolved until finally the hotel clerk got me in with her manager. I had to demand any reimbursement from priceline and they still will not commit to anything. Will probably have to handle the charges through Amex.

When you rent a car from Priceline, they sell you an insurance policy from a company called RentalCover, which is a total scam. Priceline knows this but continue to sell the policies as they get compensated for them. SCAM! SCAM! SCAM! Purchased a policy through Priceline for an auto rental, which I ultimately made a claim on. Rentalcover required mounds of paperwork which I provided. The claim was approved. After that all communication ceased. No remittance, no return emails, nothing.
There is NO WAY to contact rental cover other than via email. No customer service phone number, NOTHING. I even contacted Priceline who of course told me there was nothing they could do and recommended that I contact RentalCover. Of course! I have filed BBB complaints which RentalCover never responded to. I am currently in the process of filing complaints with various federal and state (NY) authorities for a fraud case as I'm sure I'm not the only one who has been victimized by this company.

I had made a reservation on my app and canceled through the email link shortly after finding a better spot. The reservation then fell off my planned trips and I had no itinerary for it anymore so I assumed they canceled until I received an email from the property a week later that I still had a reservation there. By this time it was too late to cancel without penalty and I was charged 104 dollars. Of course, Priceline didn't help at all after being stuck on the phone for over an hour.

As I am having trouble with my hotel and want to check out early because of my horrible stay. They can't not won't help me with getting my refund for the nights I refused to stay at the hotel. When I go to the front desk they say I have to call the third party booking and yet there I am in the phone getting told that they can't help me and wish they could do more. I will never book through another third party again even if it cheaper. It's better than going through this. At least when I book through a hotel I can get my refund for the nights I won't be staying. Or at least with the ones I booked straight through the hotel. Only thing Priceline helped me with was finding a decent deal for a hotel. That's it though.

I am very disappointed with Priceline. I purchased airline tickets for a vacation. We have two minors children and our seats were scattered in four different rows. When I asked the delta gate attendants, they said priceline didn’t forward the birthdates of the passenger so they don’t know if they are 4 years old or 80 years old. How could priceline do that? I paid extra to get seats in comfort plus and it was just messed up. I am very disappointed and will never recommend priceline to anyone. We had to beg people inside the aircraft to exchange the seats so at least one parent will be with one child. Both from and to flights had this issue and a few of them refused to move.

Never again will I use Priceline for any sort of travel - car, flight, or hotel. I booked a package deal that was supposed to save money. It ended up costing me way more than I could have booked separately and on my own. I have used Priceline multiple times before, with no real issues, but also no real savings. Here's what solidified my decision: was charged another 190$ from a car rental agency they gave me (Usave: DO NOT USE!) on top of the 285$ priceline charge when originally booked. So almost 500$ for a 5 day car rental!!! Never in my life! No damage, no extra anything on the rental. Also the company wanted a 1500$ deposit! They force you into that. Never again.

We booked a room for after our cruise at Bahia Mar Fort Lauderdale which is a Doubletree by Hilton. We were told we could get an early check in but when we arrived we waited over 7 hours in the lobby with no updates. At 4 pm when regular check in started we were still not informed if/when our room would be ready even though we had been there all day waiting. When I called Priceline they were no help at all. Did not resolve the issue, refused to refund and we were left to make arrangements for another hotel. Today I get an email that said Priceline called the hotel and since they said we used the room there’s no refund. We were never given a key. Never saw the room. Priceline’s resolution was calling the hotel and asking them if we checked in! Buyer beware!! If you think Priceline will support you as the customer you are dead wrong.

At first Priceline seems like a good deal. I went through them for a rental car in Raleigh Durham area and noticed the reservation was for Fayetteville 3 hours away. So I changed the reservation to research triangle which was the location I was flying in to. Once I arrived at rental place they informed me the reservation was for golden triangle Columbus. No worries budget took good care of me. I call priceline to get a refund on the 53 dollar insurance I paid in advance and they tell me it's non refundable because I didn't cancel before the reservation date. Buyers beware. We get what we pay for and priceline will definitely scam you out of money.

I wish I could rate it negative stars. They advertise that you can get a refund, but you can not. Do not trust Priceline. They are very, very bad. I want to warn people not to get left paying over $600 for a car rental that they canceled a month in advance (had I gone directly through the car rental company, I would have a complete refund).

Priceline is not reliable at all. The first trip I had issues with the hotel. It wasn't booked through them correctly on their end and I ended up having to sleep in my car. I was still charged and had to spend a lot of time to get my money back. This last time I called to let the hotel know I would be a late check in. They couldn't find my reservation because Priceline gave me the wrong confirmation number. I had to spend an hour on the phone, during my vacation, to get it fixed and confirmed. I ended up missing two different bands that I spent a lot of money to go see. Their policy is if you use the room, there will be zero refund. It doesn't matter what the issue is. I wouldn't risk it. You end up paying more in the long run. Tell your friends.

I have been a valued customer here at Priceline for so many years. I'm currently without a place. I had a fire so me and my family are staying in these hotels here in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. I called Priceline one day because the attendant Monty at the Red Roof Inn in Princeton New Jersey on business route 1 try to put his hands on me over a microwave. All I did was ask for a microwave and I told him it's not a big deal, I'll go buy a air fryer. He told me no so we got into a big giant argument that just about led to a physical fight over a microwave people. I asked if Priceline can refund me the money because I did not fully check in. They told me no they can only give me 15%. I have been nothing but a loyal customer to this company but for someone to put their hands on me physically and yell at me and they still not refund me my money is just crazy. I'm in a situation I want my $110 back

Just don’t with Priceline. Take your money and run. You won’t hear back from them once they get your money. Refuse to work with you on anything. The only thing they are useful for is making things 10x more complicated.

I’m in disbelief. We are all humans and make mistakes. I made a mistake with the date. I completely understand a lot of things about business but if a hotel is not completely booked and you have availability accommodate people all for one night stay. No help from Priceline. Better going directly through the hotel or Expedia.

DO NOT BOOK WITH PRICELINE. They are a bunch of scammers and thieves. Save your money and your peace of mind and book through Booking.com or Hotels.com. Priceline are a bunch of scammers who said their "supervisors" were handling the matter then they closed my case without contacting the hotel to see if they allowed the refund. I reached out to the hotel and they said no one had reached out to them. They LIED about resolving the matter. They kept a $1,000 and I didn't even get to stay in the room. They also book rooms with their "partners" (they own the company) and blame it on their partners (getaroom.com).

They put me in a 3 star hotel ground level without a window or screen so anyone walking by could get into my room. No one was working at the hotel upon check-in. I found an envelope with my name and 2 room keys. The room already had someone's belongings in it (possibly a homeless person who broke in and was staying there). The room had about 50 roaches and all kinds of desert bugs in the sheets and crawling on the walls because there was no window or screen door. There was a Igloo cooler already in the room full of a stinky soapy liquid that was leaking on the floor and the carpet was wet and moldy.
When I called and spoke to a supervisor he offered me 15% off my next stay and said the hotel was non refundable even if there was a broken window and someone else (a bum) already living in the room. The Priceline supervisor tried calling the hotel but no one answered so he said there is nothing Priceline can do except mail me a coupon. I left and booked another room and will be disputing the charges with my bank. Never ever ever use Priceline.
