I was in New Orleans when the terrorist attacked happened. On December 5th I placed my flight with Frontier Airlines via Priceline. I received a confirmation email on December 5th acknowledging my flight. On December 31st it came to my attention when I didn’t have a confirmation checkin that something wasn’t correct. Priceline immediately said it was Frontier issue. That being said I had to have my vacation interrupted to go to the New Orleans airport just for Frontier to inform me that my flight was cancelled by Priceline. It is now January 14th and they still have not reimbursed me for the flight I had to book with Spirit Airlines. I will continue to post this until this matter is resolved.

My family and I used Priceline to book a flight back in the summer. They took the money from the bank acct but then fraudulently used another card to purchase the airline ticket. When the airline caught it, they cancelled our flight. Priceline still got our money but never took ownership of making the mistake with the airline. I even sent proof of fraud to the executive offices of Priceline and was blown off. I have emails and a bank statement to prove they took our money but we never got the tickets. It was cancelled shortly after the confirmation came through. The airline said they refunded Priceline but Priceline denies it and refuses to refund us. It's been 6 months now and Priceline has still not made good on stealing over $700 from us. Do NOT use them. Someone put our money in their pocket and executive office accepts the behavior. Would give them negative stars if I could.

Each time I’ve attempted to check-in the hotels says something regarding something about a virtual card. I’ve been charged for my room but am unable to check in which causes an issue upon arriving. This is utterly embarrassing and a waste of time when the room has been paid for. I spend thousands of dollars weekly on rooms for my employees and will definitely be looking for another travel agency company.

I was charged for things that were quoted "FREE". I ended up being charged for Shuttle to and from airport to car rental. Charged for the "To" And, ended up walking with my luggage 28 minutes to the airport on my return home at 4 am. A hotel that charged for breakfast coffee and toast. Tried contacting their virtual assistant, only to see, "Sorry you had a bad experience." I would NOT recommend.

Do not use Priceline! They use unreliable car rental companies that have very odd hours. My kids and I were stranded in a dark parking lot for an hour trying to find an alternate car rental company as the one they assigned in my package closed at 8:00 p.m.. for a 4-day car rental they only gave me a $42 refund. Be aware that hotels have hidden fees such as parking that they do not disclose.

When I finally got the address to pick up the car and went to pick it up, the woman refused to rent it to me unless I paid $40 a day for their insurance because they did not accept the third party insurance that I paid for online. I contacted Priceline customer support and they refused to issue a refund saying that the money went directly to the car rental business that partners with them. This site is a total scam!!!

Priceline canceled the reservation and assured me that I would have received the refund within 3 business days. It was 6 months ago. I called them hundreds times, they first promised me the refund back on my credit card, then through check. I was supposed to receive the check at end of august, never happened. Then again in October, never happened.

Finally at the end of November on the phone they promised me that another check was mailed to me. They even sent me an email, assuring that the check would have been delivered by the end of the month. Needless to say, I didn’t receive it. I just called them. For the millionth time,”sorry for the inconvenience, you have to wait, the check has been processed, the financial team will contact you in 3 business days”. This is offensive and frustrating! Worst customer service and bad experience. I am writing to express my deep disappointment with the auto rental service I received from Hertz upon my arrival at San Antonio airport. Despite having a confirmed reservation for a Mid-Size SUV through Priceline, Hertz was dismissive and claimed that the issue lay with Priceline, stating that they had booked me into a small SUV in their system. In response, I contacted Priceline's customer service and was transferred to a supervisor. After a lengthy hold during which he discussed the matter with Hertz's ground staff, he informed me that they would address the issue internally. He also mentioned that he was initiating a refund and would send me an email regarding it.

However, instead of receiving confirmation of my refund, I received multiple emails suggesting that I book with another company or through Priceline, promising reimbursement for the new booking. I inquired why, after waiting for over an hour at the Hertz rental counter, my reservation could not be transferred to Hertz or another provider based on my original booking. To my surprise, the supervisor raised his voice and stated he did not understand the issue, insisting that he was processing my refund but could not provide confirmation as it was documented. He then abruptly ended the call, stating he was done.

This experience is unacceptable and reflects poorly on Priceline. The issues I encountered include:

Refusal to honor my confirmed reservation.
Lack of effort to accommodate my booking despite available Mid-Size SUVs.
    Dismissive attitude towards third-party reservations.
Over an hour wasted with no resolution offered.

    Rude and unhelpful staff.

The overall experience was frustrating and unprofessional. The inability of your team to provide a solution or even attempt to accommodate a confirmed reservation is unacceptable for a major car rental company. As a result of this poor service, I will not be using Hertz for future rentals. I urge you to address these issues at your San Antonio airport location to prevent similar experiences for other customers.

We rented a car through Priceline. The price was cheap but service was horrible. 1) Nowhere on the site it said that the car was location was of airport. 2) The company requested proof of insurance and when provided they rejected it and wanted to sell us their insurance. This seemed the case with multiple customers that were there at the same time. 3) After almost an hour on the phone we were able to get my husband's name on the insurance and started driving to find out that the tire light was on in the vehicle. We called the company. The guy who answered had an attitude and asked us if we have taken the tire to get it checked. We told him we just left and are turning back. 4) They proceeded to put air in the tire without checking it and wanted to send us on our way to which we refused and requested another vehicle. 5) The car had multiple scratches so we took picture before leaving since they did not mark those.

In summary do not use Economy rent a car if you are expecting customer service.

This has been the worst experience of our trip, Juan (York Rental Co Assoc) at the front desk had the worse customer experience service ever. As our flight arrived I called the car rental to let them know we were ready for our car rental. After confirming our reservation a shuttle was sent to pick us up. As we arrived to the desk Juan wanted to charge us for additional days of insurance for not having vehicle in our possession due to our flight being canceled/delayed, my husband did not agree so Juan got an attitude and demeanor had changed. He asked me to call their customer service number and when I did he went into the next room and turned off the phone after seeing me call. He said my reservation was cancelled when it was not.

I phoned Priceline who confirmed my reservation was still active, Juan denied it was and canceled my reservation knowing I was from out of town with no car and they lied and said his driver was the one who confirmed our reservation when the driver does not speak English. I asked for his manager and he stated he does not have her number and didn’t know of her work hours. Then he told us he didn’t know why our reservation was canceled after confirming it was booked. As we first arrived he already had signed paperwork ready to get on the road with the rental so unprofessional, disrespectful, wrong for what he did he needs to trained on how to treat customers. His service was disgusting. BBB does not approve this service or this business. How he treated me as a human at 6am was uncalled for. The front desk had the worse customer service.

Our issue with Priceline is that they provided no corrective action other than offering a refund. This refund took more than 10 days and did nothing for us in the issue at hand. This provider was offered in the Priceline website and in my opinion it was Priceline’s job to ensure we had rental accommodation upon arrival-as we requested and paid for in advance of our trip. This was a total failure in Priceline’s part. We didn’t need a refund in 10 days, we needed a rental car that we paid for to be ready as stated in our contract.. The York Rental Car Company must be removed from the Priceline site and we deserve an apology and compensation from Priceline. This is a Priceline Failure.

Power was out, roads were closed due to the damage from the hurricane and I had to cancel my reservation. I called the hotel and explained and they were nice about it and explained a cancellation due to a natural disaster was acceptable however because I went through this company I had to cancel with them.

I called and experienced the worst customer service. The representative was nonchalant and did not care because the cancellation was not made in an “appropriate” time. I cannot control the weather and there should be exceptions due to natural disasters. I never made it to SC but was still billed hundreds of dollars for a hotel in a state I never went to. This is unacceptable. How could I have known the level of damage this hurricane would cause?

I purchased a stay in the Kansas City area for the Hallmark Christmas Experience event. I always add on the trip insurance even though I have never needed it. The unthinkable happened, I got very sick and was unable to travel. Priceline refused to let me cancel or change my reservation and the insurance was a complete fail.

I provided dates, proof of my treatment and the treatment plan provided by the Dr., receipt for the visit, photos of the prescription etc. The insurance would not honor my paperwork, wanted a “seal” with the Physician’s signature and a few other things that is not standard practice. It would have required another a Dr. visit fee and some special hoops for the office to jump through for a letter they would accept. In the end, I paid for a room that I couldn’t use and a useless trip insurance. To lose a customer over a single night stay, albeit a higher end room is, in my opinion, bad business practice. Priceline offering trip insurance that requires SO much fine print reading and exclusions is unconscionable. So disappointed.

Let me start by saying that I have been using Priceline for months now and I was happy until my last trip which was on Thursday December 26, 2024 and was supposed to be till Monday December 30, 2024 for 4 days at the Extended Stay Hotel in San Jose on San Ignacio road. Thursday night my family and I went to bed (Girlfriend, 4 year old son and I)

I was woke up in the middle of the night and felt something crawling on my body. I quickly turned on the light to find cockroaches in the bed on my family and I!!!! I started packing all of her stuff and doing so in the bathroom I found More cockroaches at this point and purely disgusted and wish I never came to this hotel and we get the family and it's home when I'm staying here I would get a hold of Priceline and let the front desk know. The front desk people said there was reports of roaches on the third floor but not on the second it did seem like he cared and it was agreeing with me that I should get a refund but that couldn't be done until the morning when the manager got there and they could give me a full refund so I have to wait till 9:00 a.m. and at this time it was like 4:00 in the morning.

I asked if I can be moved to a different room coz I'm not going to stay in that room till 9:00 in the morning. I have plenty of pictures and videos of all the roaches inside the room as well. The room with the roaches was on the third floor room 306. Last week we can be moved and they moved us to room number 228. I went and checked out the room before bringing my family over and it was better, no roaches but not clean as well. Stains on the floor, didn't I mean the walls were dirty, they didn't have roaches but it wasn't clean as well either but it was better than having roaches on us.

In the morning I woke up about 10:00 a.m., went down to talk to the front desk and the front desk told me the manager wasn't going to be there until the second January 2nd of 2025 and I explained what happened. Roaches all in the bed. I would like to get a refund. He said I had to come back at 11:00. At 11:00 I spoke to a manager and he says yeah if I check out they'll be able to refund me. When I originally got there I upgraded to two beds for 68 more dollars out of pocket and not through Priceline but out of pocket and I asked if I can get that refunded and the manager said he agreed to give me that refund as well. So we checked out and he says okay he refunded it back to Priceline. Now I have to talk to Priceline and the third party person or company involved because I didn't go directly to the hotel, I went through Priceline.

When I spoke to Priceline the night of the incident right when it happened they said they'll reach out to the third party and when they get back to me in 24 to 48 hours they'll be able to give me the resolution that they have come up with. I asked Priceline, "So I spent all my money for these four nights for me and my family I'm checking out of the hotel because there's roach infested rooms, I have no more money, you won't get me a room for my family and I and I have to sleep in my car tonight with my 4-year-old son is what you're saying because we're waiting on the third party to get back to you and to see if I would even get a refund?"

They told me there was nothing they could do to help me out and my family. It would have to sleep in our car for that night. This is Friday night going in this Saturday I slept in the car with my family because we had no other money and they wouldn't give us money right away coz their hotel had roach infested rooms. The next day I call Priceline, speak to them again and they told me I am not going to get a refund or they emailed me saying they're not going to be able to refund my money. They spoke to the third party and unfortunately they weren't able to give me a refund so not only did they take $400 from me, my last $400 that I paid for a room and I woke up to roaches on me in that room and I refuse to stay in that room they said okay we're going to keep your money and not refund you or give you anything for compensating for the $400 I spent through Priceline.

This is so ridiculous and upsetting and frustrating. I've never woken up to my kids or me being covered in roaches and it was truly disgusting and I will never go to an Extended Stay or go through Priceline ever again because they have no compassion for the people who are in the room. They could care less from their reactions to my incident. I will never go through them again and I'm out $400. I feel like it was stolen for me for no reason or fault of my own but because their hotel is full of roaches

Review: Disappointing Experience with Priceline – Outdated Listings and Priceline Refusal to Change - I recently had a very frustrating experience booking through Priceline, and I feel it’s important to share what I learned. I booked a hotel based on its listings showing pet-friendly accommodations, free breakfast, and non-smoking rooms – features that were crucial for my stay. However, when I arrived at the hotel, I was told that none of these amenities were available anymore. The hotel had been sold to a new company, and they had removed these services, but none of this was reflected on Priceline’s website.

To make matters worse, Priceline’s customer service was unhelpful. Despite my booking clearly reflecting these amenities, the hotel refused to offer a refund because it was a Priceline booking, and Priceline would not update the listing or change any details on the page. Essentially, the outdated amenities and reviews were still live, misleading future guests, and I was stuck with no recourse.

It became clear that Priceline does not ensure that hotels update their listings or correct misleading information, even when it no longer aligns with the current offerings. The fact that old reviews and amenities stay up without clarification of the new hotel ownership is incredibly frustrating for travelers who rely on this information to make decisions.

If you’re booking through Priceline, be aware that outdated listings and misleading information can be a real problem, especially when hotel ownership changes. I recommend verifying all amenities directly with the hotel before booking to avoid potential disappointments. Unfortunately, Priceline does not seem to take much responsibility for these issues, and their customer service won’t help in situations like mine.. I called Priceline and talked to a live person named Anne. She advised me to leave Priceline a bad review online. Another shocker for me. Makes me wonder if the person I talked to is a 3rd party call center.

The agent called the hotel WITH ME ON THE LINE and the hotel agreed to the cancelation. The funds were refunded to my PayPal account. Later I found that there were charges for the same dates for another reservation charged to my credit card. I called and called and called and no one could help. Finally, I was told that I would be called by a manager within two hours on a Saturday afternoon around 4:30 p.m. The call came the following morning at 8:13 a.m. on a Sunday morning. Since I was asleep, I missed the call. The Customer Service agent refused to schedule another call.

Priceline did an investigation and found that my reservation had been canceled and I did not know about the second reservation. Still, Priceline refused to refund the money for the reservations stating that I was responsible since it was paid for with my credit card and that the hotel would not cancel the reservation. There was no consideration for the facts surrounding this situation.

Priceline takes no responsibility for what happens to the customer or the status of the trip. Once they get their money, they have little to no interest about the outcome or success. They get paid for nothing. They are not even a US company. They will take your money for no exchange of goods and services. If the customer is not satisfied, Priceline takes ZERO responsibility. When we had issues with the heater, no one was in the office and no one would answer the phone number that was listed. Shockingly, our baby came very early and we wound up in the NICU with a premie, unable to go as expected. I was able to recoup most of the trip, but our hotel rate was ‘non-refundable’. Unfortunately, but I’d hoped to maybe get a credit towards a future trip & I contacted Priceline to pursue this. They told me they had to contact their supplier to request an exception & told me to stay on the line.

When they came back they said their supplier has to contact their supplier, and that they’d email me a resolution. They said it’d take 24-48 hours. When they finally emailed me, 80 hours later, they told me they were unable to get an exception. I get that it’s a non-refundable room, and I assumed risk in booking it, but even a partial credit towards a future purchase would have satisfied me. They offered nothing to a family in crisis. When I went to check out of my resort, I asked for an itemized list of the final invoice receipt of my stay. They had charged me an additional $50 per day to total $350 additional Funds for this trip.

I have contacted Priceline every single day for the last nine days and have been told that is the resort fees. However, I never agreed to that. Priceline never stated it in the invoice from my package trip price nor does the website of the resort state that they charge $50 per day for resort fees. I know because I went onto the resort's website prior to booking my trip through Priceline. I wanted to see the resort and read all the pertinent information and make sure what I was purchasing. No one wants to do anything about it.

I had to contact my credit card company and I’m hoping that they will honor my dispute of the charges and refund the money. That’s a lot of money when you’ve already paid $2600. Priceline does not deal in transparency or honesty. Everything is after the fact. They don’t deal in the truth. This is how they get you. The resort keeps your credit card on file while you’re staying there and then they just go ahead and charge what they wanna charge. You have to fight to try to get your money back.

Another thing about Priceline is when you first reach out to them they begin to respond back to you however, each email that they send a response to you is from a different person. There have been 10 different people that have responded to my complaints and none of them know the information that was shared with the other employees via email. It’s a nightmare they try to throw you off and play games because they know you’ll probably just give up and not keep fighting for your money. It is strongly advised not to book with Priceline.com. If you choose to do so, ensure you carefully review all pre-filled dates and times in the system before entering your credit card information. The platform does not provide an option to confirm the accuracy of the entered information before submitting the booking. In my experience, after entering my credit card information, I attempted to go back to review the details. However, the system automatically processed and submitted my request without allowing a review. While I was able to cancel the booking within five minutes, Priceline did not cancel the associated payment. As a result, I had to rebook the trip for the correct date, which was for an urgent and personal matter.

Upon returning and reviewing my credit card statement, I found charges for both bookings, including one for the same day as the initial request. Attempts to resolve the issue were highly frustrating, with the hotel directing me to Priceline and Priceline insisting I contact the hotel. This lack of accountability and coordination left me with no resolution.

I intend to escalate this matter by involving my lawyer and filing a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Based on this experience, I will no longer use Priceline or any third-party booking platforms for future travel arrangements. Their customer service was unhelpful, and the numerous contacts I had to make to seek assistance were overwhelming. Consumers should proceed with extreme caution when dealing with such companies. Look up Bookit.com and you will learn a lot about their Ponzi scheme.

We asked for a flight time change going out and as I’m looking at flights in the $200 range and waiting on the phone the representative tried to convince me the only flight they had was $700 so we’d have to pay a difference of $400! I’m telling her she’s not being honest because I’m looking at the flights and she tries to convince me that they have to go through the airline's direct price and I’m like I’m looking at the airline price! Y’all are just trying to get extra money! They very well could have gotten us a ticket within the same range as we originally paid and I would have been fine with the $99 change but to try to scam us $400 plus a change fee is disgusting! So I kindly asked the guy checking me in if I could view the room before completing my reservation he said sure. On the way to the elevator I could clearly see the reason the other guest weren't happy with their rooms.

As I went into the room you could clearly see the the room/area of the hotel was under renovation. I went downstairs to let him know it wasn't somewhere I'd be happy to stay there was another customer at the desk complaining about the heater in the room. The guy offered to not charge me for the room being it was under construction but clearly he didn't honor that. I was still charged and priceline did nothing to resolve the issue. Rented a car through Priceline, the shuttle picked us up after three phone calls. It took us down a dark alley to a garage where there was a small counter set up. After waiting in line for an hour, without a word from the two workers. I was finally next in line. This is when I found out that they were requesting another $898 for a rental car. They did not have a car available for the price I had paid. Other victims of this SCAM CAR RENTAL included an elderly woman traveling alone, a family from Australia with two small children, and several other families. They only had 4 cars available, for people willing to pay the $800. The worker was telling a family of seven that they didn't have an suv for them, but wouldn't refund their money either.

I called Priceline Customer service. They basically told me too bad. Said there was nothing they could do. That the car rental could do whatever they wanted, as far as charging more and not having the right cars or enough cars for the customers! How dare they! We trusted them! We were left out in the cold! Afraid for our safety down a dark alley, in a make- shift office, in a garage! The worker told me to "Step aside! Mam! So I can help who is next in line!." I said "No! You are still helping me! How could you agree to rent me a car and then tell me I have to rent a different car and pay more money fir it?" He told me that the reason I had to pay another $898 was because I had booked with Priceline! Thank God for Lift! A very courteous driver picked us up and took us to our hotel. I checked out the next morning and they gave me a receipt, needed to get back on road asap and didn’t look at it. After getting to my destination I was checking my account and noticed I was charged by Priceline as well as by the hotel on my debit card. I contacted Priceline about this and they said they would look into it and get back to me in a few days. Seven days later, no reply and called again.

This time I actually received an email confirming my inquiry but still no resolution several days later. When I asked for a refund of the Priceline charge since it was actually more than what the hotel charged I was told it was non-refundable. How can it be the best seat if they charge me more than the actual hotel? Over a week later they still haven’t resolved anything and I had to contact the hotel myself, the hotel immediately responded and refunded the extra charge. I have a Priceline account and I do use them to book rooms as they tend to have the lower rates. However, how they choose to remedy issues with hotels or award you for using them is disappointing. I remember paying a $165 for a double bed suite at a Marriott and when I arrived they checked me into a single room because my room type was unavailable. Not only did she check me into the room without first asking me if I even wanted to downgrade, she also charged my debit card for the room and incidentals, and I had already prepaid online through Priceline. I checked in after midnight and could not book another hotel once I found out that she put me in a single room. I had another adult friend with me that I had no plans on sharing a bed with. Needless to say, we unfortunately had to stay in the room. Although we split the cost for two queen beds, one of us had to sleep on the tiny chaise.

The hotel blamed Priceline saying that they should have updated the room types on their site because they did not have it available at the time of my booking. Priceline's remedy to my problem was to offer me a fifteen percent off coupon for an express deal and it came with an expiration date. I informed a Priceline rep that I do not ever book Express deals because you never know what hotel you are booking. I asked if I could just have a fifteen percent off coupon on my account that I can use at any hotel of my choice. I was told no that they only offered coupons for express deals. I think that Priceline does a horrible job with rectifying issues. Forcing your customers to use a coupon to book a nonrefundable hotel room with no ability to find out who they are first, or see what their reviews are is not customer service. So basically they never rectified the issue.

After we landed for our flight we were shuttled to this easirent.com Jacksonville off site office which looked like a dump. As soon as we walked in we saw customer after customer either waiting for someone to help them after they had gotten a car and had a problem, or waiting for over an hour just to RETURN their rental. After we waited in line we were told that we would have to have our own personal auto insurance policy as coverage, and that we would either have sign a waiver or pay a lot of money for tire and windshield coverage! What honest rental company makes you cover a tire and windshield damage?

We asked every other customer why they were having a problem and were told the tires on their cars were all bald, some cars had to be brought back with check engine lights on, and one car had been smashed in the rear and was given out to a customer who was afraid to drive it due to the body damage! In addition, we were told that they didn't have a car for us to rent or similar car and offered us NO other options. No substitute, upgrade, or even down grade so we wouldn't be stranded near the airport! We cancelled our reservation and had to travel back to the airport and hope and pray we could find a rental last minute on the spot. Better part of a day wasted! The ONLY thing I will say is that Priceline did refund us the money we put out for the rental quickly and without hassle. I refuse to do business with priceline until they drop Easirent.com as a partner and do a better job vetting the companies they partner with.

I purchased a trip package through Priceline for Nov. 13th-17th because I've had good experiences with them in the past but this weekend there was endless problems. The only thing that went right is the flight to Chicago from Minneapolis. Our first night at DoubleTree in downtown Chicago, halfway through the night when I got up to go to the bathroom, while I was sitting there a roach ran at me and I panicked and kicked it and it disappeared under the door, I would have gotten a picture but I couldn't find it.

I then googled the hotel and apparently we weren't the only ones to have a roach problem at this hotel. Disgusted we went to the front desk to let them know and they offered a $50 food and beverage credit. Why would we want to eat somewhere that has roaches?? We asked for a different room and they were able to switch our room. Our second room the bedding was ripped so the stuffing was all coming out and looked dirty, they hid the blankets between sheets. Then when we ran out of toilet paper I reached out for more and didn't get a response till the next day.. really? The phone in that room didn't work along with one of the lights. All but one of the 5 elevators were down most of the time. As much as I would love to walk up 13 flights, I can't. I have fibromyalgia, so it was a good 20-25 min wait for elevators.

Add to that the whole time we just felt uneasy looking to see if anymore roaches made their way into our room, and this is considered a 4 star hotel, with roaches? I purposely spent more to stay at a 4 star hotel because I wanted to treat us to a nice place. Then when we tried to get to an event in Minneapolis our flight is delayed and was supposed to have left at 12:45 pm and then didn't take off till 2:40 pm which got us to Minneapolis a 4 pm. There needs to be some type of a refund, anything due to us waiting, and being late now to our event in Minneapolis. Also in the 2 hrs and 20 mins we sat on the tarmac not going anywhere they didn't once offer any food or water to anyone. They gave us very limited information on when we would be able to take off and sounded unconcerned with any obstacles this caused. Saying sorry is great but didn't resolve the concern at hand.

Horrible hotel and Priceline after being a vip with them for years would not assist. Terrible is refused to stay there and Priceline customer support was useless and unwilling to help. They have lost a high volume VIP customers. Poor business shame on them. After over 15 years I'm saying no more to Priceline. Congratulations!

I am writing to express my profound disappointment with Priceline’s handling of a recent reservation, which left me stranded and without any meaningful support during a critical time for my family. I booked a flight and car rental through Priceline to travel to Wichita, Kansas, to support my daughter and her family as my grandson was hospitalized in the ICU. This was an incredibly stressful and urgent trip, and I relied on Priceline’s service to ensure I could reach Bennington, Kansas—an hour and a half drive from Wichita—to be there for them. Unfortunately, when I arrived in Wichita, the rental car company, Payless, informed me there were no vehicles available. In fact, the manager explained that they had not had vehicles for at least three days and had notified Priceline about this issue. Despite this, Priceline continued to allow reservations to be made, leaving customers like me stranded.

At the airport, I attempted to find a vehicle with other rental companies, but every single one was sold out, and any vehicles being returned were already reserved. I had no transportation and no way to reach my family during this critical time. I immediately contacted Priceline for assistance, but the experience only worsened. I was transferred multiple times, speaking with at least four different representatives, none of whom were able—or perhaps willing—to help. Initially, I was told that arrangements could be made to locate a vehicle from another rental company near the airport. However, after being transferred to a manager, I was informed that Priceline could not or would not make any effort to assist in finding alternate transportation.

Ultimately, my daughter, already under immense stress with her son in the ICU, had to arrange for a friend to leave the hospital and drive to Wichita to pick me up. This was an unacceptable burden on my family during an already difficult time. This entire experience was deeply frustrating and upsetting. It is completely unacceptable for Priceline to knowingly book reservations for services that cannot be fulfilled and then fail to provide adequate customer support to resolve the situation. Leaving a customer stranded in a moment of crisis shows a shocking lack of care and responsibility. I expect a prompt and thorough response to this complaint, as well as an explanation of how Priceline plans to ensure this does not happen to anyone else.

Booked a car to be picked up at the San Diego Airport. Priceline (and Thrifty) arranged for me to pickup the car 30 minutes away, by the CA/Mex border! Thrifty’s solution was for us to take an Uber to the location to pickup the car. They refused to honor the res at their location. Priceline’s suggestion was to cancel the original res and make a new one. We tried but they had timing restrictions to get the new res to AVIS that would have delayed our trip for hours. AVIS never got the new res and refused to honor the Priceline quote. We ended up renting a car from AVIS for $300 more than our original quote. Thrifty wanted more that $400 above the original quote from Priceline.

Priceline took no responsibility for their obvious mistake. Thrifty did not honor its request from Priceline. AVIS did not acknowledge their relationship with Priceline. After a three hour flight, this was the worst possible way to start our vacation. I will not recommend Priceline or Thrifty/Dollar to anyone, ever! AVIS rented us a car but was much more than the Priceline quote.

I booked a flight after searching options on Google. I was switching back and forth between a web browser and the Alaska Air app as I was trying to choose my best option. I ended up purchasing the flight on the web browser and only after receiving the email receipt did I realize I had made the flight reservation through Priceline. The price was no different from what I would have paid through the Alaska Air app, and yet I have discovered significant differences in service. Firstly, I never received a notice to check in for my flight. I discovered I could only check in at the airport. At the airport, I was told that I was bumped to standby on the second leg of the flight FROM SFO to LAS because the flight was oversold. My 14yr old daughter actually has an assigned seat, but I don’t?

How can this happen? We are listed under the same confirmation code. The same reservation? Why would my child be split from my reservation? The Alaska Air desk agent could not change anything because the ticket was purchased through Priceline. I have to check in at the gate SFO and hope that somehow I can get a seat. I am so furious with Priceline and will absolutely NEVER use them again for anything. Customer service as well as their Chatbot Penny are useless. To add to the frustration, when I was trying to use Penny, the cookies pop-up window was blocking the chat window and I could neither close the popup nor choose to accept or deny because my taps were affecting the screen below the pop-up as if it was invisible. Obviously a bug in the Chat.

I've been using Priceline since they came out and never had a bad experience until recently. The car rental I booked through another site (Economy Car Rentals) was an absolute nightmare so I cancelled the reservation at the desk. While waiting for the shuttle back to the airport, I booked a car with Priceline, but because I was boarding the shuttle, I didn't realize that the booking was at an agency on the other side of Orlando. Not the end of the world, or so I thought. By the time the taxi got me there, it was 15 minutes after the agency had closed (no notification of business hours from Priceline). The round trip taxi ride cost me $165.00.

I ended up having to take a bus to a depot near my destination, a Lyft to the house, a Lyft to go visit my mother in Assisted Living, a Lyft to a local rental agency, a Lyft back to Mom from the agency after car drop off, a Lyft back to the house and a bus back to the airport. $300 in additional costs because they booked someplace way far when I specifically requested the airport. After a couple of back and forths with their "customer service", they decided they weren't going to do anything at all to make this right, so they lost me as a customer forever... and hopefully everyone seeing this too.

BUYER BEWARE!! I used to use Priceline on a regular basis for years. Never had an issue with them. I always told friends and family to use them, that they were always great to deal with. For the last couple of years their service has gone downhill drastically. I am the first patient to have surgery this Friday with check in time at 6:00am. We live 4+ hours away, so rather than leave at 1:30-2:00am and have to worry about deer on the road all the way there, we booked a room. I put in the city where we wanted to stay, so we would be 5 minutes away from the surgery center. Instead they offered me a “deal” where they would pick one out of three. Not realizing they completely changed the city to a totally different location!!

We will now have to leave at 4:00am, the “free breakfast” that my family members were supposed to go back and eat, while I am in surgery is out the window, because who the hell wants to drive 4 hours for a free breakfast! I called immediately after realizing what happened, while the gal was trying to help me, in the background, they had a humdinger of a party going on. And of course the calls are routed over-seas, so through broken English I was told under no uncertain terms that we could not change the location, as they have very strict guidelines. Well, I have very strict guidelines when it comes to my pocketbook, so when it comes to doing any future business with Priceline, they will no longer have my business. Thus, he was unable to make the trip and had to cancel his reservation, which amounted to $200.

On November 7, we called Priceline expecting them to take some action so that we would get a refund for the veteran’s room cancellation. Priceline said that a refund was at the discretion of the Comfort Inn in Alexandria, VA. The hotel denied our request. Priceline indicated that the Trip Protection was not valid. In retrospect, I think Priceline has engaged in deception by offering Trip Protection. I reserved a car through Priceline on October 29, 2024. This reservation was for a vw jetta or equivalent from November 9, @midnight to November 11 @4 pm. I called from my plane at 10:00 p.m. on November 8 and advise reservation specialist that my plane would be 30 minutes late due to seating disabled people on the plane. He said there is a 4 hour window to pick up so it would be no problem. I arrive in Orlando at 12:15 a.m. and I call twice to find out where the shuttle is at. I arrive at the rental car company at 1:00 a.m. I stand in line for 15 minutes. As I observe two of the three transactions going on, it seemed customers had a different reservation amount than the counter was wanting to charge them. They had four cars they were trying to rent and saying that is all they have left. They kept trying to get rid of a jeep.

When it is my turn, I was told my reservation from priceline would not be honored. He said it has been a busy friday night and they do not have my car that I reserved. He said I have a jeep wrangler. I said will I get that for $71.92, and he said I would have to pay the difference. He said the jeep would normally go for 130-150 rate. This isn't true if someone rents in advance. He said he would have to charge me the difference. I asked him why I would be charged more than my reservation because it is not my fault they do not have my reservation. He said, "I don't know what to tell you except, if you want to rent from us tonight you will pay it or you can go elsewhere and rent a car." He said however, "You will pay a lot more given you don't have a car reserved anywhere else."

I told him this sounds like a bait and switch. I told him I could have reserved a car elsewhere for cheaper than 180, but I reserved with ACE because I was quoted $71.92. He said, "Do you want the car or not?" At 1:45 a.m. in the morning a customer has no other option but to pay whatever they need to in order to have transportation. It is obviously a bait and switch practice this customer service rep. was doing. I hope any potential customers will read this and realize this will happen to you as well. The airline was fast to refund it because it was obviously out of anyone's control, but it was refunded to whatever third party credit card number used by Priceline and not the payment method I entered, which I did not know would happen and Priceline does not inform you that they use their own credit cards "for your safety" when you book through them. I then had to repeatedly call Priceline customer service over 3 weeks and each time was told the same things over and over that it's being worked on and processed and then eventually that I'll receive the refund in a couple business days. Each time they said I'd receive a call with an update within 24 hours. Each time I never received a call and had to reach out again.

2 weeks after I was told I'd receive a refund in a couple business days, they then said they are still "waiting for the airline to send the refund", which was a lie because I'd contacted the airline FIRST when the flight was canceled and they were able to give me part of the card numbers it was refunded to and prove to me that they sent it, and that it was all on Priceline from that point. So then they said again they'd call back with an update within 24 hours, naturally no call so I called again. Allegedly suddenly as of my call 2 days ago they released the money and it's being processed by the banks. I am not confident at this point that it will show in my account when they say it will, and I anticipate calling them again in a couple days arguing for my money. Do not use this company.
