First I want you to understand that I needed to travel from palm beach to Long Island because my brother was dying, so I booked flights, hotel, and car rental through Priceline, everything was ok for Monday overnight Tuesday returning, my niece called me and said Monday she thinks will be too late, is there anyway you can come sooner.
I paid Priceline in advance for airfare, hotel, and car rental for a total of $1279.00. So I called Priceline and was told that the air, hotel, and car was non refundable and non changing. So I booked direct with jet blue for Saturday to Monday for extra $50 per person, I was lucky to get a nice person, the hotel was a different story they couldn’t do anything because I went through a third party (Priceline) so I had to pay for the room myself, the same with the car rental. So be careful with Priceline with their policies non refundable and non cancellation. I also purchased insurance and was told by Priceline well you will have to make a claim…. Good luck..

Not upfront at all about the rental car company location. I called to try to get my money refunded because I bundled my hotel and rental car and found out after the fact that the company is off site from the airport in a very remote and sketchy location. I’m a woman traveling by myself. My flight will not be arriving until late at night. I don’t feel safe with this arrangement. Customer service was not at all helpful or understanding of my situation and refused to refund my money so I will have to eat the cost. Needless to say I will not be booking through a third party like Priceline ever again.

Do not rent a car on any express deal. No one will help you with the reservation and no changes or cancellations can be made. I rented a car to attend my father in law’s funeral and had to make 12 phone calls and got no help. Finally roadside assistance helped me. All I needed to do was drop the car off at a different location. I understand if they want to charge me but they literally would not do it in the system no matter who I called because I made this reservation through Priceline. I also had to cancel a reservation a week ahead and they took the full amount of the three day rental for the cancellation. Be aware! Never using Priceline for anything again.

Made a reservation for the wrong date and reached out to have it changed. Almost a week later received a reply that was not possible because I missed the deadline to change it. If they did help me on the date I sent the request I could have changed my booking. It’s a total Lack of respect for the clients.

I specifically asked for a hotel in Ridgeland, MS and they booked me into a really bad hotel in Richland, MS. The areas are close to each other but one is in a much safe area. Also, they did not listen to any of the amenities that I would need by the hotel. So, now I am stuck in a hotel in an unsafe area, no amenities (the room had no soap, very few towels, sticky bathroom floors, broken furniture, and can not even get bottled water or any other conveniences typically provided by almost every hotel I've ever visited.) I travel and have never been in a hotel that is so poorly run. I've been in much cheaper hotels than the one they booked for me with so many more amenities and pleasant personnel. DO NOT RELY ON PRICELINE TO LISTEN TO YOUR REQUIREMENTS AND GIVING YOU THE BEST OPTION. THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT ANYTHING BUT YOUR MONEY!

Used Priceline with the United app!!! Big mistake!!! The mud sized car I rented was not available so I was forced to upgrade at 50 higher! The 4 star hotel was (is) a dump with only 1 elevator working forcing us to walk to the 8th floor… I tried to switch hotels but I could not because I used Priceline!! I never had this problem with Expedia!!! Don’t use Priceline.

I placed an order online through the Priceline app. I asked for Feb. 27, 2025 one way from Midland to OK city the first time the system booked March 28, 2025. I caught it when it sent me confirmation so I canceled. I really thought I had made a mistake so I just rebooked it again asking for Feb 27, 2025 and was on the road driving so didn’t check email. When I get to the airport they informed me that my flight was again booked for march 27 which I will be in Seattle flying on another American Airlines flight. When I called to see if they could refund or credit me they just basically said no! Even though I am a PRICELINE gold VIP! That standing had no value in helping them correct their system's error! Just made problem for using them. I will book all flights through the airlines direct from now on! A few dollars is worth my peace of mind of being taken care of like a valued customer!

Although the flight may be cheaper, NOT WORTH THE HEADACHE! I’ve only experienced issues with them every time I try to give them another chance. They use fake names and clearly working based out of India and offer no help. They say one thing and call back saying they never “guaranteed” anything on their end. They also offered prices MORE than the airline itself.
Morris or whatever his real name is (might use a new name next time since he’s a scared little b-) is one of the worst people I’ve dealt with. Wasn’t willing to help at all. When we asked to accommodate us with something due to the inconvenience and misunderstanding THEY caused, he basically laughed in our face. DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT USE PRICELINE. ANYTHING is better than this agency.

I booked a domestic flight within Canada and booked it through Priceline. Prices were posted and discussed with Priceline personnel and never was there any indication that the prices were in USD. My invoice reflected the price we discussed. When I got my Credit card statement USD exchange of $750..00 was added. I contacted Priceline by phone but the supervisor I spoke with was of no help. Never again will I book through this company and I will use every opportunity to warn others about the price deception that I have experienced.

Due to health concerns, I missed my flight with American Airlines, and the airline automatically canceled my return. I called Priceline, I was told to call the airline (American Airlines), both were tossing me like a soccer ball. Very unhappy, I was not even looking for claims for the missed flight but to make my trip for the return. Invariably, I have to buy another ticket with another airline. My family and I will never use Priceline or American Airlines anymore.

Never would I ever recommend booking on Priceline even if it will save you a couple bucks. If there is anything wrong with the hotel, especially something major, they will do absolutely nothing to support you. They put everything back to the local hotel. If your booking is with the hotel you will least have the ability to deny the credit card charges, but due to Priceline’s terms, you are left with no case. We tried dealing with them on a hotel that promised us a refund and then declined to follow through. Priceline’s staff didn’t return calls as promised and did absolutely nothing to support me. Very disappointed and definitely learned a lesson on not to use them in the future. Their grade is a big fat F!

I stayed at this location for 6 nights. Upon check in I was informed by the kid (I don’t use that phrase lightly) at the front desk that there was an additional fee of $172. What I negotiated with Priceline was a final bill. Not a penny more. I was very adamant about that, but as I was backed against the wall, I had no good choice but to accept that fee, even though I was there on business and I told them I was not going to use the amenities of the resort. That was a resort fee that should’ve been disclosed. Then the next surprise.
There is the tower and then behind it is a much older building which went about 3 buildings back towards the rear where it’s very isolated. I told them I wanted to stay in the tower. That would be an additional $30 per night! I was appalled that they did this, but yet my arrangement with Priceline was final and even THEY didn’t know this when I called them to discuss this. Priceline did attempt to fight these charges for me, so I do not fault Priceline. They managed to get them to relinquish $50. Which I have yet to see on my statement.
Although my room was clean and it was comfortable, the fact is that financially according to the agreement they do not honor that and anyone who is planning on staying at this resort needs to know that you will be unpleasantly surprised when you go to check in and find out how they nickel and dime you this way. Priceline was very apologetic to me and I appreciate that they did go to my defense. I hope this review will help some of you out here who book This hotel and that you don’t have to find out the hard way about their booking policies. If I had read on my contract with Priceline that upon check in that all of these additional fees would’ve been charged, I definitely would’ve gone elsewhere. The photo below is my bill with the final tally before they hit me with all the extra charges. I would’ve paid another $350. Give or take. Nothing in their ad stated that the tower was $30 a day more to stay there!

Well, I'll start this off with, ultimately, it's my fault. I screwed up the dates on my Flight and Car rental. I was able to get a refund on the car rental, thank goodness, but my 2 person ticket value was lost. Called the airlines directly, American Airlines said it was the most restrictive ticket available, and nothing they could do. Delta said they could credit it, but it was bought through Priceline so they can't. Priceline, won't do anything other than change the dates, for $360 fee on top of the price difference for the tickets... The flight is 3 months out, and I'm out $1000. Just wish there was some sort of mercy with Priceline instead of feeling like I crawled out of a Dungeon.

Priceline is not an authentic platform. Be careful for their information is not credible at all!!! They say there will be airport shuttle and breakfast - both of these are for a cost. They say the hotel is accessible to the metro, but in reality - that is not the case. In addition, they charge for Airport shuttle service. Then they don't let you make any changes to the booking, saying the property will not allow us to cancel, or if you call the property, they say - these third party platforms are the issue. So this entire process is kind of fraudulent. But Priceline appears to be notorious for misrepresentation and inaccurate information!

I will have to file a credit card dispute I suppose. I will still recommend but am not happy.

Horrible experience with Priceline. I personally will never use a third party to book reservations again. I booked a hotel for the hot tub and pool. Upon arriving a sign in lobby stated pool and hot tub closed. We asked if we could cancel and the hotel manager said it was a third party I would have to contact them, and once they email him he would cancel it on his end. Went to another hotel, while on hold for a hour with Priceline. The lady said not a problem, she will put it in her system they will email the hotel and I would be refunded.
A few days later I received an email that I would not be refunded. It has been a week of fighting long wait time for them to tell me something different every time. Now it is their other partner refusing to refund. Then they have to wait 24 hrs for system to update hotel emails correctly. No one will give me a straight answer and refund me my money due to false advertisement. If I booked straight from the hotel this would have never been an issue and I would never have been charged. I will never book through Priceline again. I booked 5 rooms for a month in West Palm Beach, $20k worth of rooms. Before the reservation expired I received a call from my workers and they were locked out of their room. After contacting the hotel to see what the issue was they said that the one room was only reserved through the 20th, 8 days before it was supposed to end. I called Priceline and they said that they booked it through their partner Booming.com. I went back and forth between Priceline and Booking to get resolution. They each blamed the other, all I wanted them to do was call the hotel and straighten it out since I paid Priceline for the entire amount for 5 rooms for a month. Priceline said I needed to contact Booking for a refund and Booming said I needed to square it with Priceline.
After 2-1/2 hours I got nowhere. I tried to just pay the hotel for the remaining nights for the one room but they couldn’t do it. I had my guys pay for the remaining nights, only to end up paying 3 times what I already paid per night. I can’t tell you the amount of frustration and anger over this situation. All I can say is DO NOT USE BOOKING.COM OR PRICELINE. The absolute worst customer service and absolutely no way to get resolution other than contacting my credit card company and disputing the charges. Unbelievable.

Check the flight restrictions prior to buying their insurance. You are led to believe that the insurance offered for the flight that you choose would cover things like emergency date changes, however it doesn't on some flights. Although they will still offer the insurance they will not cover you if you need to change the dates and may only possibly cover for cancelations. Will never book through Priceline again. Priceline.com are thieves. Don't ever use their services. You will get a much better price and service if you go the through the hotel directly. I booked a hotel through Priceline that I thought was costing $289 plus tax for one night. My stay was supposed to be on 9/29/25, over 8 months away). After I booked it, I realized that the total was over $422. Apparently, they added an additional $122 service charge to it. When I realized what they did, I canceled the reservation (less than 2 minutes after I booked it). The fee for canceling the reservation was $422, so they refused to refund me my money.
After hearing back from them about their refusal to refund my money, I asked them to just reverse the cancellation. I told them for that kind of money, I might as well take the room.... at least I would only lose $122, not the entire $422. They told me that they could not reverse the cancellation. On top of it, they said that it was the hotel's rules and that the hotel received the money. I called the hotel and they have no record of the reservation. I don't know why anyone would use Priceline.com. They don't have the best prices, they charge an excessive service charge and they don't give full refunds on cancellations.

We arrived at our hotel to be told they did not get my reservation and that it is Priceline's fault because when booking bundles with American Airlines, the hotel confirmation does not come through. This was a Hyatt in San Antonio which I will NEVER use Hyatt again just like I will never use Priceline again. My husband and I spent almost 4 hours in a hotel lobby on Valentine's because Priceline messed up. We missed our dinner reservations and ended up having to get a hotel in Austin on our own. Also, Priceline could not find a replacement hotel because I booked a 5 star hotel and they would not allow me to be booked into anything less than a 5 star hotel even though I said that was ok. The person on the phone said the management would not allow me to be booked in a 4 star hotel.
So, my husband and I had to book our own hotel 1.5 hours away from San Antonio because there was a conference and everything was booked. We drove daily 1.5 hours between San Antonio and Austin to do all the things I had planned for our Valentine's Day weekend. Priceline refunded my hotel cost plus 20% but that does not cover all the time I had to spend in a car, additional fuel cost and the additional cost of a last minute hotel. I will NEVER use Priceline again and will let anyone know who ask what a bad experience I had.

I’ve had to call the hotel and get the name of somebody who approved it. I’ve provided that to Priceline and yet they continue to decline. Their partner that does this is in China. And can only send emails because of the language issue. I’ve told them repeatedly the name of the person they can talk to at the hotel. My experience with Priceline has been unsatisfactory. I purchased insurance with the expectation that it would cover emergencies; however, I found that claiming a refund was excessively complicated. To have my request considered, I was required to provide a doctor's note containing personal medical details. This requirement seems unreasonable, especially when one purchases insurance for protection against unforeseen circumstances.
Additionally, my interactions with customer service were disappointing. Communication was often unclear, and I encountered representatives who appeared uninformed about the policies. I have been attempting to resolve this issue for two weeks without success. Based on my experience, I recommend that travelers consider booking directly through airlines or hotels, as this approach may provide better deals and more straightforward terms. They have the worst policies on their platform. Who would be cancelling within 24 hours of the booking? Either the plans would change before 24 hours of 48 hours or on the day of the booking. They say in their policies that they will give a full refund but It comes within 24 hours of booking the service. Who the heck made these policies? Are they simply using that money to grow? If this is the way to grow, I'm sorry to say that you will never succeed in this space and soon you will shut down. I wish I had a 0 in the rating.

I booked a vacation package through Priceline (Trip Number: **) and just five minutes after booking, I realized that I had made a mistake with the reservation date—My trip was actually scheduled for the following day. I immediately contacted Priceline customer service and explained the situation. The representative assured me that it would not be a problem and that the best solution was to cancel everything and rebook with the correct date, as Priceline would issue a refund. Following their advice, I canceled the initial booking and made a new reservation with the correct date. However, I was shocked to find out that Priceline only refunded the flight and car rental but refused to refund the hotel, despite their own representative assuring me that the full refund would be processed.
To make matters worse, I contacted the hotel directly, and they confirmed that they had no issue with issuing a refund. However, since the booking was made through Priceline, the hotel cannot process the refund directly, as Priceline is the one handling the transaction. In other words, Priceline itself assured me that I would receive a refund, the hotel confirmed that they would allow the cancellation, but Priceline is still refusing to return my money. This shows a lack of transparency and disregard for customer service. As a loyal customer, I expected a more honest and flexible approach, especially in a case where the mistake was noticed and corrected within minutes. If Priceline does not resolve this issue and continues to refuse the hotel refund, I will take further steps to report this practice on other platforms and reconsider using their services in the future. I expect an immediate resolution.

When we called the hotel they said they cannot make changes and it has to be made directly through Priceline. When I spoke with Priceline customer care they confirmed to me they have no control of availability of cars. This is strictly controlled by the rental company. Please know that if there is a mistake in your name - after you hit submit - you will be screwed - according to Priceline there is nothing that can be done to fix the problem - even 5 months in advance. Pretty sure - I have a ticket I cannot use - and likely will not be able to book the same flight for my wife, same cost, etc - just because AutoFill used her Maiden name and not Married Name. Yes - I do take ownership for not realizing the error - but as easy as they take their "share" you would think they can fix this. There is a code allowed by Airlines for 3rd parties to change Last Names (with no other errors [DOB and First Name] - SMH.

After I accidentally booked my trip one day further out than I planned on staying I was able to remedy it with Priceline but it was not easy until it was. I did not know how long I was staying due to health issues either so I piddled for the middle and chose a date blindly like Russian Roulette. That's the way I leave. I suffer from PTSD for several reasons. I booked my flight through Priceline. Not my hotel. I did get a rental car but I had to end up ubering because of web service until I was able to connect. That was at the motel I stayed at. Level 8/ Super 8 Motel. I'll include the review and address here to. Priceline is easy to use but it doesn't always automatically connect and I prefer to use a safe network. On with the motel....
I have stayed here in the past. Nice Motel. Great staff. They're renovating. My only issue was that the manager said there is breakfast in the morning at check in but there isn't but we all lie. So what, small price for a great stay. Additionally, there is a rental fee but you get that back at check out. They don't tell you when you check in but it's a language barrier perhaps or the way it's explained. Gets lost in interpretation. Manager called my room and apologized. I was heated to say the least. I felt hella better after she called. Enjoyed the rest of my stay.
Cleaning staff is helpful but many don't speak English- go to the office for assistance. Quick trip - health related. I accidentally booked my trip an extra day out but was able to get a flight one day earlier. Did not accomplish what I needed to do. LA at least Inglewood is not as busy as it used to be but I've said that previously. It's a shame. Beautiful city with much to do. Intuit and Kia stadiums are great. Lots of entertainment. Best part about the town, I was able to walk freely both day and night without problems. I caught a bus back to the airport the day I was returning home. Easy peasy - short walk from the hotel but I only had a purse and bookbag. It's doable with a small suitcase or duffel in my opinion.

When I arrived the hotel was NOTHING like the listing so I called Priceline and let them know there were roaches in the room and trash just swept in piles in the hotel hallway as well as general construction and moldy smell throughout the hotel. The hotel would not refund me due to the fact I had not canceled the day before check in per their policy. They cobbled flights together between Delta and Virgin, but somehow Virgin owns the whole ticket. Checking online for price difference, I found something palatable. However, the flight I was offered was more than that which I found online. To change ($199) and difference (700) after tax and fees. Insurance only covers Covid, which is over. Be diligent when booking through Priceline. The confirmation process asks for a credit card to make your reservation, just like any other hotel/car rental/booking. What I didn't realize (and what they did not make clear) is that you are paying hundreds of dollars just to use Priceline's website, and will later be charged hundreds of dollars by Hertz (or whatever rental you go through) to pay for the fees associated with the rental car. Up front I was under the impression that the quote given by Priceline is what I would pay, not being told that Hertz would pile on their own slew of charges for the same reservation. I have been using Priceline for many years that they call me a "gold member" not that it comes with any benefits. I am very disappointed with a recent transaction, which I would like to share to express my frustration and also to make others aware of a problem which is not clear. I purchased a round trip ticket from Dubai to Boston for an elderly family member with insurance. I was told by a priceline custom service member at the time of purchase that the ticket with insurance gives the option to make changes for unavoidable reasons including health problems, mechanical issues with the flight or flight cancellations. I paid the extra and purchased the insurance to have that option as my family member has some health issues.
Two days before the departure of the return flight the family member got sick and I was advised by healthcare professional it's not safe for the person to travel. It would be very irresponsible to make the person travel inconveniencing herself and potentially making other passengers sick. I contacted priceline two days ahead of the return trip (Boston to Dubai) to make changes to the reservation and I was told that I can't do that as the ticket has been partially used meaning the ticket was used for one way (Dubai to Boston), which came as a total surprise to me.
The insurance offered by priceline is confusing to say the least and in fact it seems like a scam. I would not recommend using it unless you get clarification on all different scenarios (which may be hard to imagine as life is full of surprises!). I don't see any advantage using priceline over other online sites where tickets can be purchased for just about the same price or even cheaper at times. This has been a very bad experience for me and will not use priceline anymore for my travels.

I even sent proof of fraud to the executive offices of Priceline and was blown off. I have emails and a bank statement to prove they took our money but we never got the tickets. It was cancelled shortly after the confirmation came through. The airline said they refunded Priceline but Priceline denies it and refuses to refund us. Worst customer service and bad experience. I am writing to express my deep disappointment with the auto rental service I received from Hertz upon my arrival at San Antonio airport. Despite having a confirmed reservation for a Mid-Size SUV through Priceline, Hertz was dismissive and claimed that the issue lay with Priceline, stating that they had booked me into a small SUV in their system. In response, I contacted Priceline's customer service and was transferred to a supervisor. After a lengthy hold during which he discussed the matter with Hertz's ground staff, he informed me that they would address the issue internally. He also mentioned that he was initiating a refund and would send me an email regarding it.
However, instead of receiving confirmation of my refund, I received multiple emails suggesting that I book with another company or through Priceline, promising reimbursement for the new booking. I inquired why, after waiting for over an hour at the Hertz rental counter, my reservation could not be transferred to Hertz or another provider based on my original booking. To my surprise, the supervisor raised his voice and stated he did not understand the issue, insisting that he was processing my refund but could not provide confirmation as it was documented. He then abruptly ended the call, stating he was done.
This experience is unacceptable and reflects poorly on Priceline. The issues I encountered include:
Refusal to honor my confirmed reservation.Lack of effort to accommodate my booking despite available Mid-Size SUVs.
Dismissive attitude towards third-party reservations.
Over an hour wasted with no resolution offered.
Rude and unhelpful staff.
The overall experience was frustrating and unprofessional. The inability of your team to provide a solution or even attempt to accommodate a confirmed reservation is unacceptable for a major car rental company. As a result of this poor service, I will not be using Hertz for future rentals. I urge you to address these issues at your San Antonio airport location to prevent similar experiences for other customers.

This seemed the case with multiple customers that were there at the same time. 3) After almost an hour on the phone we were able to get my husband's name on the insurance and started driving to find out that the tire light was on in the vehicle. We called the company. The guy who answered had an attitude and asked us if we have taken the tire to get it checked. As we arrived to the desk Juan wanted to charge us for additional days of insurance for not having vehicle in our possession due to our flight being canceled/delayed, my husband did not agree so Juan got an attitude and demeanor had changed. He asked me to call their customer service number and when I did he went into the next room and turned off the phone after seeing me call. He said my reservation was cancelled when it was not.
I phoned Priceline who confirmed my reservation was still active, Juan denied it was and canceled my reservation knowing I was from out of town with no car and they lied and said his driver was the one who confirmed our reservation when the driver does not speak English. I asked for his manager and he stated he does not have her number and didn’t know of her work hours. Then he told us he didn’t know why our reservation was canceled after confirming it was booked. As we first arrived he already had signed paperwork ready to get on the road with the rental so unprofessional, disrespectful, wrong for what he did he needs to trained on how to treat customers. His service was disgusting. BBB does not approve this service or this business. How he treated me as a human at 6am was uncalled for. The front desk had the worse customer service.
Our issue with Priceline is that they provided no corrective action other than offering a refund. This refund took more than 10 days and did nothing for us in the issue at hand. This provider was offered in the Priceline website and in my opinion it was Priceline’s job to ensure we had rental accommodation upon arrival-as we requested and paid for in advance of our trip. This was a total failure in Priceline’s part. We didn’t need a refund in 10 days, we needed a rental car that we paid for to be ready as stated in our contract.. The York Rental Car Company must be removed from the Priceline site and we deserve an apology and compensation from Priceline. This is a Priceline Failure.

The unthinkable happened, I got very sick and was unable to travel. Priceline refused to let me cancel or change my reservation and the insurance was a complete fail.
I provided dates, proof of my treatment and the treatment plan provided by the Dr., receipt for the visit, photos of the prescription etc. The insurance would not honor my paperwork, wanted a “seal” with the Physician’s signature and a few other things that is not standard practice. It would have required another a Dr. visit fee and some special hoops for the office to jump through for a letter they would accept. In the end, I paid for a room that I couldn’t use and a useless trip insurance. To lose a customer over a single night stay, albeit a higher end room is, in my opinion, bad business practice. Let me start by saying that I have been using Priceline for months now and I was happy until my last trip which was on Thursday December 26, 2024 and was supposed to be till Monday December 30, 2024 for 4 days at the Extended Stay Hotel in San Jose on San Ignacio road. Thursday night my family and I went to bed (Girlfriend, 4 year old son and I)
I was woke up in the middle of the night and felt something crawling on my body. I quickly turned on the light to find cockroaches in the bed on my family and I!!!! I started packing all of her stuff and doing so in the bathroom I found More cockroaches at this point and purely disgusted and wish I never came to this hotel and we get the family and it's home when I'm staying here I would get a hold of Priceline and let the front desk know. The front desk people said there was reports of roaches on the third floor but not on the second it did seem like he cared and it was agreeing with me that I should get a refund but that couldn't be done until the morning when the manager got there and they could give me a full refund so I have to wait till 9:00 a.m. and at this time it was like 4:00 in the morning.
I asked if I can be moved to a different room coz I'm not going to stay in that room till 9:00 in the morning. I have plenty of pictures and videos of all the roaches inside the room as well. The room with the roaches was on the third floor room 306. Last week we can be moved and they moved us to room number 228. I went and checked out the room before bringing my family over and it was better, no roaches but not clean as well. Stains on the floor, didn't I mean the walls were dirty, they didn't have roaches but it wasn't clean as well either but it was better than having roaches on us.
In the morning I woke up about 10:00 a.m., went down to talk to the front desk and the front desk told me the manager wasn't going to be there until the second January 2nd of 2025 and I explained what happened. Roaches all in the bed. I would like to get a refund. He said I had to come back at 11:00. At 11:00 I spoke to a manager and he says yeah if I check out they'll be able to refund me. When I originally got there I upgraded to two beds for 68 more dollars out of pocket and not through Priceline but out of pocket and I asked if I can get that refunded and the manager said he agreed to give me that refund as well. So we checked out and he says okay he refunded it back to Priceline. Now I have to talk to Priceline and the third party person or company involved because I didn't go directly to the hotel, I went through Priceline.
When I spoke to Priceline the night of the incident right when it happened they said they'll reach out to the third party and when they get back to me in 24 to 48 hours they'll be able to give me the resolution that they have come up with. I asked Priceline, "So I spent all my money for these four nights for me and my family I'm checking out of the hotel because there's roach infested rooms, I have no more money, you won't get me a room for my family and I and I have to sleep in my car tonight with my 4-year-old son is what you're saying because we're waiting on the third party to get back to you and to see if I would even get a refund?"
They told me there was nothing they could do to help me out and my family. It would have to sleep in our car for that night. This is Friday night going in this Saturday I slept in the car with my family because we had no other money and they wouldn't give us money right away coz their hotel had roach infested rooms. The next day I call Priceline, speak to them again and they told me I am not going to get a refund or they emailed me saying they're not going to be able to refund my money. They spoke to the third party and unfortunately they weren't able to give me a refund so not only did they take $400 from me, my last $400 that I paid for a room and I woke up to roaches on me in that room and I refuse to stay in that room they said okay we're going to keep your money and not refund you or give you anything for compensating for the $400 I spent through Priceline.
This is so ridiculous and upsetting and frustrating. I've never woken up to my kids or me being covered in roaches and it was truly disgusting and I will never go to an Extended Stay or go through Priceline ever again because they have no compassion for the people who are in the room. They could care less from their reactions to my incident. I will never go through them again and I'm out $400. Review: Disappointing Experience with Priceline – Outdated Listings and Priceline Refusal to Change - I recently had a very frustrating experience booking through Priceline, and I feel it’s important to share what I learned. I booked a hotel based on its listings showing pet-friendly accommodations, free breakfast, and non-smoking rooms – features that were crucial for my stay. However, when I arrived at the hotel, I was told that none of these amenities were available anymore. The hotel had been sold to a new company, and they had removed these services, but none of this was reflected on Priceline’s website.
To make matters worse, Priceline’s customer service was unhelpful. Despite my booking clearly reflecting these amenities, the hotel refused to offer a refund because it was a Priceline booking, and Priceline would not update the listing or change any details on the page. Essentially, the outdated amenities and reviews were still live, misleading future guests, and I was stuck with no recourse.
It became clear that Priceline does not ensure that hotels update their listings or correct misleading information, even when it no longer aligns with the current offerings. The fact that old reviews and amenities stay up without clarification of the new hotel ownership is incredibly frustrating for travelers who rely on this information to make decisions.
If you’re booking through Priceline, be aware that outdated listings and misleading information can be a real problem, especially when hotel ownership changes. I recommend verifying all amenities directly with the hotel before booking to avoid potential disappointments. Unfortunately, Priceline does not seem to take much responsibility for these issues, and their customer service won’t help in situations like mine.. I called Priceline and talked to a live person named Anne. She advised me to leave Priceline a bad review online. Another shocker for me. Makes me wonder if the person I talked to is a 3rd party call center.

Nothing was done. Sheets were not changed, towels we not replaced, garbage was not hauled out. Basic housekeeping was not done. When we had issues with the heater, no one was in the office and no one would answer the phone number that was listed. When we went to turn in the room key, no one was in the office and the phone was ringing off the hook. Hopefully they can correct these issues and make things right with us.

Representative said they couldn’t get in touch with their 3rd party (which Priceline told me wasn’t the hotel)… yet the front desk said they were currently on the phone with them & that they had called NUMEROUS times! Been a member with Priceline for 7 years & never received any advantages/ decent discounts/ free room for travel or anything. Called the exact same hotel directly & there were no discounts in price using Priceline. Priceline helpline was unhelpful & inexperienced. Never received a call back from manager as promised. I booked a hotel through Priceline. The trip was planned 45 days before my pregnant wife was due to give birth. Shockingly, our baby came very early and we wound up in the NICU with a premie, unable to go as expected. I was able to recoup most of the trip, but our hotel rate was ‘non-refundable’. Unfortunately, but I’d hoped to maybe get a credit towards a future trip & I contacted Priceline to pursue this. They told me they had to contact their supplier to request an exception & told me to stay on the line.
When they came back they said their supplier has to contact their supplier, and that they’d email me a resolution. They said it’d take 24-48 hours. When they finally emailed me, 80 hours later, they told me they were unable to get an exception. I get that it’s a non-refundable room, and I assumed risk in booking it, but even a partial credit towards a future purchase would have satisfied me. They offered nothing to a family in crisis. Unreal. I will not be using Priceline again.

Hotel booked through Priceline was less than adequate. The Priceline staff and supervisor (customer service people) do not care, and are not helpful when you reach out to them. You have to call them multiple times, and they do not thoroughly explain to each other your complaints, so you are left having to reexplain to each new person you speak to. The room I booked had stains on the chair, the toilet paper holder coming out of the wall, the lock on the door does not work well. And when you contacted Priceline about this to get a different accommodation within the price range that you paid the original room with, they only allow you to exchange that very day or you must spend more money out-of-pocket. They do not care about their customers once they have your money.

When I went to check out of my resort, I asked for an itemized list of the final invoice receipt of my stay. They had charged me an additional $50 per day to total $350 additional Funds for this trip.
I have contacted Priceline every single day for the last nine days and have been told that is the resort fees. However, I never agreed to that. Priceline never stated it in the invoice from my package trip price nor does the website of the resort state that they charge $50 per day for resort fees. I know because I went onto the resort's website prior to booking my trip through Priceline. I wanted to see the resort and read all the pertinent information and make sure what I was purchasing. No one wants to do anything about it.
I had to contact my credit card company and I’m hoping that they will honor my dispute of the charges and refund the money. That’s a lot of money when you’ve already paid $2600. Priceline does not deal in transparency or honesty. Everything is after the fact. They don’t deal in the truth. This is how they get you. The resort keeps your credit card on file while you’re staying there and then they just go ahead and charge what they wanna charge. You have to fight to try to get your money back.
Another thing about Priceline is when you first reach out to them they begin to respond back to you however, each email that they send a response to you is from a different person. There have been 10 different people that have responded to my complaints and none of them know the information that was shared with the other employees via email. It is strongly advised not to book with Priceline.com. If you choose to do so, ensure you carefully review all pre-filled dates and times in the system before entering your credit card information. The platform does not provide an option to confirm the accuracy of the entered information before submitting the booking. In my experience, after entering my credit card information, I attempted to go back to review the details. However, the system automatically processed and submitted my request without allowing a review. While I was able to cancel the booking within five minutes, Priceline did not cancel the associated payment. As a result, I had to rebook the trip for the correct date, which was for an urgent and personal matter.
Upon returning and reviewing my credit card statement, I found charges for both bookings, including one for the same day as the initial request. Attempts to resolve the issue were highly frustrating, with the hotel directing me to Priceline and Priceline insisting I contact the hotel. This lack of accountability and coordination left me with no resolution.
I intend to escalate this matter by involving my lawyer and filing a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau. How can it be the best seat if they charge me more than the actual hotel? Over a week later they still haven’t resolved anything and I had to contact the hotel myself, the hotel immediately responded and refunded the extra charge. Won’t be using Priceline again due to poor response to my inquiries and they weren’t the cheapest after all.

I will never use Priceline again. I tried to cancel a hotel reservation for 12/21, well in advance, but their customer service was no help. They told me the reservation was non-refundable and then said I should call the hotel myself to negotiate a refund. Why am I using Priceline if they can’t even handle this basic issue? This experience has been beyond frustrating, and it’s clear they don’t prioritize their customers. If you’re considering using Priceline, think twice. I’ll be taking my business elsewhere.

Worst experience ever. You'll be charged for services never provided. Then it's impossible to talk to the right person for a refund. They seem to run you around so you get sick of it. I will never use Priceline again.

I booked a hotel via Priceline while traveling. When I arrived I discovered the hotel was being renovated. The front lobby and office were sealed in plastic and the halls had construction debris and dust. When I checked into my room I discovered the heat did not work. The front desk did not answer my call and when I went back to the front desk no one was there. The next day I attempted to cancel my stay and was told to call back Monday. The hotel never returned my calls or refunded cancelled days. Even though Priceline posts pictures and reviews of hotels they do not protect travellers from false information provided to them. I would not use Priceline again.

I have tried to deactivate my account and remove all data collected for the last 2 weeks and still waiting for account to be deactivated. I have talked with customer service over 9 times regarding this issue and have tried to deactivate from the app to no avail. This is very frustrating. The ability to deactivate my account should not be this time consuming and hard. There should be a place where I can go on my account to deactivate it.

We booked a trip through Priceline to St Augustine in Florida. Due to the e hurricane, we were unable to take the trip. Although the hotel agreed to provide a refund. Priceline has continued to refuse to reimburse us almost $1200. I would avoid using their site!

-5 stars. -1 star. We reserved a car through Priceline for $300 and add a separate car insurance. They told us we had to buy their own insurance. We ended up paying more than a well known company (over $1000}. They did not have the car we ordered and was the only car left. At the time we were at the desk they had 3 desks open all 3 customers where complaining for the same reasons paying 3 time as advertised. I had no choice, bad way to start vacations. How that kind of situation be legal. That the reason they have a sign on the wall "we reserve the right to refuse service to anyone". One salesman at the desk seemed embarrassed of what it was selling by force, 3 customers at same time 3 unsatisfied costumers. Never again, that was a scam. Date of experience: January 11, 2024.

I was very happy with Priceline up until this summer when I purchased tickets to Switzerland for my family to travel in August 2024. The tickets I purchased showed seat reservations included as you can see in the attachment. When I tried reserving the seats the airline wanted payment. I then contacted priceline and the agent transferred me to a supervisor who recommended that I pay for the seat reservation and send in for reimbursement. I followed what the supervisor directed me to do, sent all the documentation, followed up many times and never received reimbursement for the charge that should have been included in the reservation. I travel to Europe numerous times a year. I see that this is not an honest company and would never use them again neither recommend them to family and friends.

I have a Priceline account and I do use them to book rooms as they tend to have the lower rates. However, how they choose to remedy issues with hotels or award you for using them is disappointing. I remember paying a $165 for a double bed suite at a Marriott and when I arrived they checked me into a single room because my room type was unavailable. Not only did she check me into the room without first asking me if I even wanted to downgrade, she also charged my debit card for the room and incidentals, and I had already prepaid online through Priceline. I checked in after midnight and could not book another hotel once I found out that she put me in a single room. I had another adult friend with me that I had no plans on sharing a bed with. Needless to say, we unfortunately had to stay in the room. Although we split the cost for two queen beds, one of us had to sleep on the tiny chaise.
The hotel blamed Priceline saying that they should have updated the room types on their site because they did not have it available at the time of my booking. Priceline's remedy to my problem was to offer me a fifteen percent off coupon for an express deal and it came with an expiration date. I informed a Priceline rep that I do not ever book Express deals because you never know what hotel you are booking. I asked if I could just have a fifteen percent off coupon on my account that I can use at any hotel of my choice. I was told no that they only offered coupons for express deals. I think that Priceline does a horrible job with rectifying issues. Forcing your customers to use a coupon to book a nonrefundable hotel room with no ability to find out who they are first, or see what their reviews are is not customer service. So basically they never rectified the issue.

Five Stars! Amazing service and excellent rates. I saw the bad reviews and I had a second thought but decided to book my car with Budget anyway. Rates through Priceline was half of booking.com or Expedia or others. Customer service is responsive and they answer questions. I now booked another car for my son. Excellent experience!

Purchased a hotel stay for one night, when we arrived to the hotel we are told there is no reservation there and that it must be across the street at another hotel. We were tired and exhausted at this time and just wanted a room to rest so we headed across the street. They had our reservation there but it did not show that it was paid. After 2 hours of calling PRICELINE and trying to clear up the situation I had to pay again for a night. It is now 20 days since and I can not get Priceline to reimburse me although I have provided them with copies of my credit card statement showing that there was a second payment. If I could give the -5 I would!!! They are flat out liars and cheaters.

Priceline refuses to refund money when the hotels close not even open. Can’t get into a room. Stay there for two hours and they said it’s my fault because I couldn’t get into the room. The hotel was not there so closed and I’ve still refused to return my money. That is very wrong. I hope they close soon. I hope the whole Priceline goes out of business. And their operators are in the Philippines. They’re not even in American soil. They help ** out because they’re just in the Philippines and they don’t answer no questions. They keep saying, "But it’s your fault. Your fault. Your fault." How’s it? My fault when hotels not even open to check in.

They charge you in fees for EVERYTHING and then cancel your reservation the night before you leave. Our family made a reservation (7 days in advance) for a trip the weekend before Thanksgiving and at 7:24 PM the NIGHT before we leave they send a TEXT canceling. The refund takes 7-10 days to process. Just a scam. If we have to be charged a fee for last minute cancelations so should they. False advertisement.
