I tried getting my refund back or accommodate for another day to use my money at the same hotel and they will still not give it to me and I did call more than 24 hours to cancel or do anything so I won’t lose my money. Priceline has the worst customer service. Their business model is based on scamming people. We made a mistake of booking hotel and flight reservation thru Priceline. When we found out that the hotel room is not that whey advertised, we decided to cancel the hotel reservation but Priceline would not refund our money by playing dumb telephone game. Every time we called their customer service they would put us on hold for at least 1 hour and then the line would just got disconnected. It has been more than couple months now and we still have not received our refund nor proper response from their customer service.

Screen who these hotel chain owners are and who they hire, complete crooks. Hard earned money not ripping off others to get it, it will be the last you’ll get from me. I will never book with anything knowingly affiliated with Double Tree hotels or Priceline. Public beware of of this hotel in Eatontown & the people who run them.

My wife booked a room at the Wyndham San Diego Bay side on or about June 23rd for three nights from 6/23-26th. She wanted a bay side room and was told skyline Bayview. She specifically asked if the room faced the bay and was told YES. Upon arrival, this was not the case and we had to pay an additional $297.47 in upgrade fees to overcome the deception put upon us by the dishonest people at Priceline. When we brought this deception to the attention of the people at Priceline, our complaints were ignored by them. We will never do business with this company again and furthermore, we will do everything we can to bring this unethical business practice to all who will listen.

The Department of Defense should immediately revoke its contract with Priceline. The company engages in deceptive pricing practices and operates outside the legal standards that airlines are required to follow. As a result, hidden fees are being unfairly passed on to our military members and veterans who use the Armed Forces Travel site—an initiative sponsored and run by Priceline.

I’m a Platinum VIP customer with Priceline. Every year, I book 30+ room nights, 8+ return flights, and over 10 rental cars – totaling $30,000+ in spend. You’d think that would earn some respect or reliable service. Instead, I’ve experienced the worst customer service and outright billing scams that rival shady internet fraud.

Most recently, I booked a package deal to Vancouver, BC through Priceline - 3 hotel nights + -rental car., and prepaid $878 USD. What followed was a nightmare: The rental car company said they were never paid by Priceline. I was forced to pay $380 CAD out of pocket, which Priceline claimed they’d refund. They didn’t. At Blackcomb Springs Suites, the hotel told me they were never paid by Priceline either and refused to let me check in. I had no choice but to pay $467 CAD directly to the hotel.

Only one night at the Delta Kamloops honored the Priceline booking – but that room only costs ~$220 CAD including tax, not the $878 USD Priceline charged me. So for almost $900 USD, all I got was a single night worth around $160 USD. It's now been over a month (since May 30th) and I’m still being bounced between robotic support agents and useless “supervisors” who give me the same tired lines: “We didn’t charge you.” “We’re working on it.” “We’ll contact the hotel and car rental.” “Please give us more time.”

I call twice a week minimum, waste hours each time, and nothing gets resolved. No accountability. No urgency. No refund. This isn’t the first time either — I’ve seen frequent overcharges, shady USD-CAD exchange rate tricks, and huge price differences between what Priceline offers and what the hotel or rental company charges directly. It’s become clear that Priceline is price-gouging and exploiting customers, even loyal VIPs.

Warning to Other Travelers: Do NOT share your credit card with these scammers. You’re better off booking directly or using a platform that respects you and resolves issues when they arise. Priceline used to be reliable. Now it feels like a bait-and-switch racket. Platinum VIP means absolutely nothing to them. Stay far away. You've been warned.

I will always use this company for future use because they are customer-friendly and care about their customers. I’d give them 6 stars if it were available. I just booked again. I will always use Priceline because they care about their customers!! Awesome Company!!!

Very unhelpful and unreliable. Purchased a reservation to a hotel in San Antonio only to realize the dates weren’t correct. I received no help from customer service in regards to trying to correct the dates, or even cancel the reservation so I could rebook the correct dates. Instead I was passed around to 3 different people who instead told me to contact the hotel itself. The hotel was unable to assist as the reservation was from Priceline. I then had to book a second reservation through the hotel’s website, and was also stuck with the Priceline bill. Tried calling them again only to be put on hold for half an hour and could never get into contact with a single person. I never attended that reservation, and I was stuck with the bill. Thanks for the amazing customer support, y’all really know how to run a business. Never purchasing from you again.

So if you wanted to stay another night, you wouldn't be able to or even if you're not feeling good and want to leave early like the situation I was in, I was in terrible pain, I tried to contact Priceline, it was no way for to contact them and I flew with Jetblue. They kept telling me they were looking into it. Priceline would not refund my money as they said I received my rental. When I looked at the confirmation, it even says the vehicle rental was cancelled. I never received the rental and they won't refund the $539.39 I had to pay for it. I’m extremely frustrated with my experience involving Priceline and Booking.com, which I was informed are sister companies. I booked my stay through Priceline, but when I encountered issues with my hotel and requested a refund, Priceline couldn’t assist me. Instead, they directed me to Booking.com for help. I filed a complaint with Booking.com regarding the poor condition of the hotel room. They then emailed the hotel on my behalf to request a refund, but the hotel did not respond to their inquiry. One representative from Booking.com informed me that there was nothing they could do since the refund would need to come directly from the hotel. When I called back, another representative offered me only $27 of the $135 I paid for the room, which I find incredibly insulting. Hawthorn suites Wichita KS.

I am really disappointed with my booking and had a horrible experience. The room had nasty stains on the bed mattress and on the sofa, along with burn holes from cigarettes. There were patched leaks in the bathroom shower ceiling and in the living area ceiling. It rained, and there were bugs that bit me all night. The air conditioner didn't work, making it uncomfortably hot I spent most of the night in my SUV due to the unbearable smell in the room. It was a complete waste of time and money to be so uncomfortable.

Please be aware of Priceline packages. I recently book a flight to Houston TX. I thought I had a rental car; but when I got to the transportation door, there was a gentleman asking how can he assume me. I told him I was looking for Infinity Car rental. He never heard of them so he made a call no one heard of Infinity car rental. I tried calling the company no answer. I call priceline back only to be put on hold a long time. So I hung up and advised them not to put me on hold. The young man cancel my car and told me to expect a refund. I still needed a car so I ended up paying 170. 00 vs 90.00 for a rental company. I still end up using priceline for that rental.

I will never use their service again. They sent me an email with instructions on how to get in contact with the company after I called and request some compensation for my inconvenience. I never seen those instructions until talking to a manger today pointed out I can fild info under policy and rules. Who in the heck read policy one you select the car you want with unlimited miles. Priceline not wanting to be responsible for them advertising that company. All I heard was sorry. There are other companies out there to bundle services.

I recently booked over the phone for June 20th through June 23rd, 2025. I would not recommend using Priceline to anyone. When I booked, I was told that thrifty would accept debit card. I booked a jeep wrangler or similar. When I got to the thrifty counter at my destination they checked my credit, charged me 500 in deposit, and would only give us a crossover SUV, a RAV4. We were not told any of this when we booked. Priceline would not refund any of the trip, the only give us 10 percent on a future rental. If they can’t resolve current issues, why would I ever use them again?

Then we got to the Westin Sacramento hotel, supposed to be 5 stars according to sales. “42 dollars in parking no choice”. I kicked my shoes off, and went to turn the ac on, I stepped in something I hoped was water. I called the desk who stated maintenance had went home for the night and they would report it. When I contacted Priceline again, the said they would give me 15 percent off my next hotel stay. Again, why would I use them in the future? Then I go to take a shower, and it’s raining into the bathroom. Some vacation. I will never use Priceline again.

I called Priceline.com immediately only to sit on hold for 15 minutes to be hung up on and then I had to call back 5x and sit on hold before I reached a worthless CSR who both contradicted herself and lied to me. I used Priceline for a last minute hotel in Lakeland FL. I arrived at the hotel that was clearly low income housing rather than a hotel. Walked in to over hear the worker telling a guy she would write off more than $60 of his hotel for the week because he did not have it. When it was my turn they told me Priceline over booked the hotel and I did not have a room. When I asked for a refund she told me Priceline would have to refund me. She said she could help me out for an additional 7$ and put me in a different room. I said okay because it was late. I was given a key and when I got to the room I could not get in. Went back to the front desk and she said the door was probably out of batteries. She made me a key to another room. That door opened but looked as though someone with dirty feet had walked all over or jumped on the white comforter. She asked me if someone had been in the room and told her I could not answer that.

I told her at this point I wanted a refund and again she referred me to Priceline. I then had to find another hotel. I did and wow. World of difference. This stay was June 21 and multiple calls and being told they could not get a hold of the hotel but they would get me taken care of.. I finally called the hotel when I had still not heard from Priceline by the morning of the 30th. The hotel said how they did not like working with Priceline and had already authorized a refund. I called Priceline and was told they needed to call the hotel. I said that I thought this whole time they were supposed to be doing this. Minutes later she came in and told me I was in luck and I was being refunded. In principle I spent hours on this. Far beyond the money I paid for the room. I will NEVER use Priceline in any manner to book anything. Stay away from this company.

Also a reason stated was we had to cancel within a certain amount of time when it was unbeknownst to us a second reservation was somehow booked and we could not reach anyone at all until actual check in, not did we receive any confirmation for a second reservation; nor was a second room ever used. Priceline no longer accepts coupons and gives discount to individuals who have membership with certain clubs and organizations, even though it gives one the option of entering the club discount codes at the time of making a reservation. It blames the fault of the credit card declining on the credit card holder and/or issuer when it actually lies with Priceline itself. The company has a finicky payment processing system and will not do anything to resolve the issue. The customer service staff is not honest and is careless. No joke, I literally nearly got abducted due to Priceline. They booked us for the wrong dates. They told us they would fix it, but when we went to the hotel that night, nothing was sorted. We had to find our own lodging and ended up at a motel where the building manager lied to us in an attempt to get us to stay at his own personal property. Called Priceline and they wouldn't even give us a refund for the trip. Screw Priceline. Do not use this service. You are just dollar bills to them. Use literally any other service.

Priceline has the most horrid customer service I have ever encountered. They allow a scam company, Carwiz, to rent cars on their site and will not refund you the money scammed from you. I flew to Dallas and expected to pick up my rental car from this “Carwiz” place at the airport, as my itinerary suggested. This place did not reside in the airport. I called the Carwiz number at 9 am and they said they were not open at that time. I tried multiple time and got the same results, so I used the “Penny” feature on the Priceline website to get instructions on picking up the car. I was told the rental place was at a certain address and I had to get an Uber to get there and would be reimbursed at the rental counter. I followed the directions and arrived at the address given and there was NO rental car agency there. I called Priceline to get help and they gave me a different number for the rental company, which went straight to “a full voicemail box.”

I ended up having the Uber driver take me to Enterprise and I rented a car from them so I wasn’t stranded in Dallas. The agent at the desk at Enterprise even said Carwiz was a scam business. I called Priceline that day to report the fact there was no rental car business at the address I was given and I wanted a refund of the price of the car. They said I had to wait 7-10 business days for Carwiz to get back with them as to what happened. That was on 4/27/25, the day I was to pick up the car. I have been through the “7-10 business days” runaround 4 times now and still no resolution. They don’t care about their customers AT ALL. They won’t refund my money until they get a reply from Carwiz, which will never happen. Absolute SCAM company allowing other SCAM companies operate through them.

When we got to the hotel we were told it was declined on the hotels end but approved on the Priceline side. After waiting 15 mins to get a customer service rep. On the phone, we were told priceline did not release $123.00 of money we paid. The rep at the hotel told us it happens all the time with priceline. Why are you not releasing all the money that was paid to you priceline. That's called fraud & it's criminal. As a result, I ended up paying the hotel directly at a much higher price, and after many calls, emails, defective beta chat at Priceline, I had to recover the original money paid to Priceline through my credit card. I booked my brother in law for 2 night and was give then Dixie Hollywood Hotel in Hollywood CA. Upon completion. Of the booking and paying over $300 for 2 nights, I reviewed the hotel policies to which my brother in law was required to pay the following fees: room deposit $100, pet deposit: $100, pet fee: $25/pet (he has 2 service animals). Although the fees seems outrageous in policy, he was willing to pay the $250 in deposits in order to keep his reservation. However, the front desk staff were EXTREMELY RUDE to him. First he attempted to pay with Apple Pay for his credit card. They did not accept. He then moved his funds around to a physical credit card, and yet again, they did not accept.

All of this being said, I’m now out the $314 that I paid to book the room, and he was left stranded on the streets of Hollywood with his two service animals. This is absolutely ABSURD business practices for a hotel in Hollywood nonetheless. Then, I contact Priceline and am informed they can’t refund ANYTHING unless the property manager agrees. SERIOUSLY!! We recently attended the funeral of a dear lifelong friend in Arkansas. We spoke to the online service that Marriott provided to make a reservation. The people we spoke to told us we had to hurry & make the reservation because they were close to being fully booked. We went to Arkansas & found the hotel. We arrived late and we noticed there were only several cars in hotel parking. When we checked in they charged us $167. We asked why the higher charge. They said they were not the scheduling party; it was an online company so they could refund the difference in price.

When we got to the room it looked dirty and had a bad odor. There were no other hotels in the area. We left for a service the evening we arrived, spent the night at the motel. When we went down to get breakfast the next morning and were told there was no free breakfast; breakfast would cost $27 but we could not afford that, so we left and got a breakfast sandwich at McDonald’s. We noticed there were only two people having coffee in the breakfast bar.

After the funeral we returned home, and we found out they double charged us $167 or $334. We have attempted to get a refund by submitting a complaint to the Marriott complaints line. Marriott refused. Several weeks later we began to have severe itching; we saw our Dermatologist who diagnosed SCABIES! Our doctor knows that we are clean people and told us that scabies are typically in dirty places, like nursing homes, dirty hotels, and on people who are unclean. He told us that scabies is delayed from exposure time and that our time of developing symptoms was indicative of being exposed at the time we stayed at the Marriott.

Over the last few months, we spent about $834 which was $334 for the double charge of the one-night stay plus the office visits and medicine. We are elderly and live on a very fixed income and we were able to afford the $79; like many elderly people there are times we must choose between medication or food. This is abuse of elderly people and the motel is a health hazard. We are extremely upset and have spoken to an attorney at Pre-Paid Legal. She sent a letter to the Marriott hotel and to Marriott Corporate Complaint department. We have not gotten their response to date. Today I called the Better Business Bureau, and they are sending us forms to submit a formal complaint. This reflects poor business practices. We believed that Marriott and Priceline were ethical companies. We have experienced significant financial problems since this event and have been unable to pay our bills in a timely manner.

I purchased the insurance as usual, but the rental company said it wasn't sufficient and required and additional $67 before I could get the car. I know that rental companies need to collect a deposit and it's usually between $200 and $300, but today they required $750! I didn't have a choice as I was already there with no way home without the car. Called customer support and could barely hear the person on the phone with all of the background noise. So not helpful. This morning 6/12, I made a reservation with a wonderful agent. Aurelia entered the travelers names and credit card information using the link she sent to my email. I even went as far as giving Aurelia a tip for working so diligently with me every step of the way including the banking frustration. THIS IS WHERE THINGS TOOK A TURN: After the reservation was completed, I got an email with the travel details while still on the line with Aurelia. Who proceeded to mention there would be late charge assessed to my reservation to which I FIRMLY DENIED as this was new information to me and MOST IMPORTANTLY- THE travel reservation she placed on hold until the was on hold from10:30pm on 6/11 which generated an error message at 10:30, 12:30a, 3:30 am and 6:30 am until I called the bank at 6:40 to discover that the transaction was flagged as fraud.

FACTS: 1. Aurelia sent me multiple travel options between 6p and 10:30p. 2. I selected a reservation I liked around 10:30p and asked her to hold the reservation for me until the banking issue was sorted because the transaction to secure the reservation had an error message every time I entered the card information. 3. Banking issues were resolved around 6:40 am, during which I from my bank that a hold was placed on my account for the attempted transaction flagged as fraud until I verified and confirmed it was me, the transaction amount & merchant. 4. Aurelia mentioned that the pending booking needed to go through two teams in order to generate an eticket- the ticketing team and the verification team which ideally would be anywhere from 15mins to a couple hours.

    5. 2 &1/2 hours later I spoke to another agent from the customer support team who confirmed the booking order and assisted me in selecting seats for the outbound flight. I was assured the same thing. Someone will call me between 10 mins to a couple hours. 6. I get a call from a male agent who then tells me there was a change with my original reservation regarding checked bags- THIS IS WHERE I LOST MY COOL. I ended that conversation by firmly telling him the original reservation with my credit card information on file is what I reserved with Aurelia which included 2 checked bags generating a confirmation - both outbound and inbound. 7. TO SAY THE LEAST I WAS HEATED AND BEGAN TO THINK MAYBE THE BANK WAS RIGHT AND THIS WAS FRAUDULENT.

    8. I called again and spoke to another agent- who was willing to assist but his supervisor denied him taking over the case which was assigned to said agent who was "There is a change' dude. 9. As I write this I am still waiting for a call to inform me that the booking confirmation has been processed and an eticket will be generated and sent to my email. 10. WE ARE 5 &1/2 hours into this ordeal with zero resolution and I must travel with what I selected and provided my payment information. If anyone in the cooperate office is reading this in real time. I have attached the confirmation email I got.

Priceline used to be my go-to for all things travel and booking. I don't know what happened, they changed their policies or something. But I will never...NEVER... use them again. I booked a hotel room and had a last minute emergency come up. It was a health emergency. Trying to get a hold of anyone to help me was a nightmare. The chat bot didn't understand a word I said. So I tried calling customer service. Fair warning: If you ever call customer service, their hold music will shriek the loudest, high-pitched whistle in your ear loud enough to make it ring and you'll have to listen to it for 10+ minutes until someone picks up. The first several times, they couldn't hear me. When I finally got a hold of someone that could, I couldn't understand them. They didn't speak English and not only that, but they wouldn't help me with my issue, no matter what. They refused to make it right.

They refunded me $0.02. I kid you not. 2 cents. Even though I called the hotel and he said he was willing to refund me the entire amount (but I had to go through priceline) they refused to make it right and I couldn't even understand what she said to know why. This isn't the first issue I've had with them. Their prices are no better than the hotel or airline prices anymore, their process has gotten very complicated and it is impossible to get help if something goes wrong. The confirmation from Priceline clearly showed the correct guest details — but to our surprise, all three hotels only received booking information for two adults. Turns out, Priceline uses Booking.com as a middleman, and somewhere along the way, key information was lost or never passed on. As a result, the hotels said they were only paid for two adults and forced us to pay $70–$90 extra per child per night, out of pocket. That’s hundreds of dollars in unexpected charges.

When we contacted Priceline customer service, they insisted the booking was made for four people, but admitted we were only charged for two. So…who is pocketing the difference? This feels like a scam. We trusted Priceline to handle our bookings professionally, but instead we were left feeling misled, overcharged, and ignored. Never again.

I later managed to book a hotel with the correct specifications, but Priceline has refused to refund the original mistaken reservation, despite the fact that their agent admitted fault during the call. I filed a complaint through the BBB, but Priceline simply repeated their stance and showed no accountability. This experience was frustrating and disappointing. I acted in good faith and immediately tried to resolve the issue, yet I was left with no support and an unnecessary charge. I expected better customer service from a company like Priceline.

Just book yourself. I booked a rental car through them and it cost me so much. In the end I think I ended up paying about $500 between Priceline and the rental agency. I only had a rental for 4 days and it was a regular economy car costing $60 a day. Between Priceline fees and the random charges from the rental company it might have just been better to book it myself. I tried to cancel once I found a cheaper rental but the one I selected couldn't be cancelled. Priceline boasts they have cheap prices but they don't. Not after their "taxes and fees" that equaled half the amount of the rental. What are these fees? No clue but my guess is their commission.

SCAM ALERT...We purchased our Advantage rental car through Priceline and according to my confirmation, it stated that I should expect to pay $68 in full upon pickup. WHAT THAT REALLY MEANS is pay $389 because of hidden fees that Priceline was not up front with. Besides waiting 45 minutes at airport for the Advantage shuttle, we were eventually delivered to a one room brick building Advantage rental office (NOT THE ONE ON AIRPORT PROPERTY). There was only one person working so we waited another hour for our turn only to be surprised with an upcharge because of Advantage minimum insurance requirements of $500k/$500k or you will be forced to pay them their amount for their insurance (I had $500k/$250k so I had to pay more)?!?

DO NOT EVER BOOK WITH ADVANTAGE CAR RENTAL OR ANY OF THEIR SCAMMING AFFILIATES LIKE PRICELINE AND EXPEDIA! Everyone on our Advantage shuttle was furious at being UPCHARGED UPON PICKUP and taken ADVANTAGE of by either Priceline or Expedia and Advantage is well aware that this is going on. I received a phone call later that evening and was told how sorry Advantage was that this happened and that they were working to get me a 20% discount off of my rental but I HAVE NOT HEARD FROM ADVANTAGE since that call over 9 days ago. I arrive at Tampa Intl Airport and I had to take an elevator to the ground level, go outside and call America Car Rental to send a shuttle to pick me up and take me to their rental agency.

I get there and I am like 3rd in line. I hear the woman at the counter complaining because they did not take her auto insurance which required her to purchase THEIR insurance. Then the guy in front of me was yelling and complaining because they wanted to charge him an extra $500.00 for auto insurance. He walked out. I said to myself, "What am I in for?" Sure enough, I get to the counter after waiting in line for at least an hour only to be told they don't accept my auto insurance (Amica), plus I had to pay a $500.00 security deposit, plus I had to purchase the toll package. They said if I refused the toll package, then they had to charge me an extra $25.00 for not purchasing it.

What started as $108.00 for 6 days ended up to be a $294.00 bill. After at least an hour and a half later I finally was able to get my rental car. The only good thing I can say is although the car had a huge dent (photo attached), I liked the ride and had no problems with the car. Also the drop-off experience was seamless. I received a survey from AMERICA CAR RENTAL. The survey had no link to click on and some words in the survey were misspelled (I attached a photo of the survey). I attached a photo of what the sign outside of the car rental agency looks like. Evidently, there are more than one company in this agency. Very unprofessional. Next time, I will rent my car directly through Enterprise or another reputable company. I will never go through Priceline again.

They overcharged you then on top of that they don't help you get your money back if you don't like the hotel. If it's bug infested. Dirty. No clean sheets. Priceline literally can't do anything for you so I'm not even sure what they're for besides to overcharge people. I wish I would have known this before I actually use them because I never would have. We were quoted a price online of 275.00 for a car rental that Priceline advertised for a car rental agency called Advantage in Ft Lauderdale, Florida. When we arrived at the airport we were shuttled to some dump car agency about 5 miles from the airport. We were forced to buy insurance even though we are fully insured by our insurance company. We were told that it is state law to purchase insurance. We were supposed to get a 2025 Acura but instead we got a 2022 jeep. A real piece of crap.

We were told that the only vehicle available was the 2022 Jeep. So now the 275.00 Priceline quote turned into a 895.00 rental. Keep in mind that Priceline quoted 275.00 all fees included. When we got home we contacted Priceline and we were told that there was nothing they could do because we signed the paperwork. Had I not signed the paperwork, they were going to call the police and have us charged with theft of services. Priceline did nothing to help us. My advice, DO NOT USE PRICELINE!!!

I saw the amount of the hotel which was not the amount advertised after all the fees and I immediately backed off the site and called the customer service for Priceline. You will spend more than the ticket fee to cancel and you will not receive your money back. I would not advise any customer to book through this website; I never do myself. I booked a rental car through Priceline for what was advertised and I believed was the total cost of $180 with having to pay taxes and airport fees at the location. When I arrived to pick up the car from America Car Rental, I was shocked to learn I had to pay an additional $401 — more than double what I had already paid.

Here’s what happened: America Car Rental refused to let me use my personal car insurance, even though I had sufficient coverage. They claimed it was mandatory to purchase their insurance. They also forced me to rent a SunPass transponder, with no option to decline — another fee that was never disclosed at the time of booking.

I immediately contacted Marie, a supervisor at Priceline, to try to resolve the issue. She told me there was nothing Priceline could do and advised me to take it up directly with the rental company. This experience was a complete scam. Priceline misrepresented the total cost, failed to disclose mandatory charges, and refused to support me when I encountered this dishonest behavior from one of their partners. I feel completely deceived and taken advantage of. Until Priceline takes responsibility and ensures transparency in its pricing, I strongly recommend others avoid booking car rentals through Priceline or America Car rental, you may end up paying hundreds more than expected — with no help once you're on the hook.

We booked a hotel through Priceline after speaking with one of their agents who promised us a suite with a kitchenette and two rooms with two beds. That was the ONLY reason we booked through them. When we arrived, nothing was as promised. No suite, no kitchenette, not even the correct bed setup. We immediately called Priceline and spoke with a supervisor who refused to resolve our issue, even though we didn’t ask for a refund or discount — we just wanted them to make it right. We asked for an upgrade or a new hotel, and they did nothing.

On my second call, the agent claimed their “system was down” and couldn’t even find my reservation — yet I had already spoken to someone just minutes earlier who had full access. This is false advertising. This is bait-and-switch. This is unacceptable. When you’re traveling under emergency circumstances, you rely on companies like Priceline to deliver what they promise. They didn’t — and worse, they showed no care or urgency to fix it. Shame on you, Priceline. #PricelineFraud #FalseAdvertising #NeverAgain #ToledoTripRuined

Very Bad experience. We booked a family of 4 Spring Break trip --flight and hotel- to a resort in Cancun. Flight were not an issue at all. We showed up at the resort and they only had my wife and me on the reservation. We were told that to have my kids stay at the resort was an additional $1600 (all-inclusive) and to move rooms it would cost and additional $1037 dollars. (Moving from a King to a double bed room) I had to pay for all the additional expenses to have my two children to stay and sleep on a bed.

So I called PriceLine... Priceline was not helpful at all in making it right. They passed my around multiple times (over 15 + phone calls at 25+ mins a piece) and gave me a partial refund--$1600. They did not honor the room change based on how their system allows you to book any room regardless of if it can accommodate your party of not. Their system glitch in not having my kids on the family package was seen as my issue--so very frustrating.

PriceLine leadership team does not take calls, emails, or any other forms of commination other than mailing letters. All 15+ calls resulted in my talking with a supervisor--never once was a manager or above on the call, responded to emails, etc... I would not ever book through this company again- my POV is that you go with a company to help with your booking to make the initial process easy and IF there are issues, they can help resolve it. That is not Priceline's operating platform. They are very quick to take your money and let you work out the challenges that happen.

They do not keep notes on file so you have to start from zero every time. I finally called my bank and reversed the transaction. Never use them.

This was not mentioned when I booked with Priceline. I called to cancel room within 10 minutes, they said it was nonrefundable. Called and they said they would speak to supervisor and call me back. That of course, didn't happen! Customer service non-existent. DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM. I ended up paying for two rooms since I booked another room after they claimed I would be refunded. First time ever booked with Priceline, last time will ever book...and I have traveled for years! Rental Car agency was the colossal, catastrophe, horrible, problem and experience. Two Huge, Stifling Problems – 1) Couldn’t find the correct physical location of the car rental agency, Routes, allegedly at the Hollywood/Ft. Lauderdale airport (or AREA)! Without success, I tried to reach Routes by phone several times at 954-900-4536. The address was not correct on the Priceline Itinerary nor any website! The address listed everywhere for Routes is 321260 SW 26th St., Ft Lauderdale FL 33315. My son and I drove to that address, found it to be some type of building. We then drove to 260 SW 26th St., Ft Lauderdale FL which is an individual house! We drove to the airport (Hollywood Int’l airport). I, (handicap with a brace on my knee) walked through the parking garage, dodging concrete barricades to get inside to the airport rental car center areas.

After randomly asking server people, no one had ever heard of Routes or York car rental which had also been mentioned. Finally, one person said shuttle bus C goes to Routes but they did not know the physical address. We drove back to the off airport rental agencies that we’d passed – they were all concentrated side by side, but there was still no Routes. Driving to turn around somewhere, I happened to see Routes on the side of a building. Went inside and the person said Routes used to be there, but they moved. That person gave me a little piece of paper with Routes current/correct address, 2600 SW 3rd Ave!

My reservation was at 10a. It took me from 9:30a to approximately 11:20a to find the correct Routes car rental address. The line was long, wrapped around, and several patrons had the exact same horrible, stressful, exhausting story/experience as me. It took another hour in line. We all said never again, we just want to get our rental car and then never again!!! Such inefficiency: hidden fees and charges isn’t worth it because ultimately, you’re going to pay possibly close to the same in the end, but no headaches!

    2) When we finally found Routes car rent, there were “hidden fees and charges” and/or no disclaimer’s on the Priceline Trip Itinerary stating there could be more charges/costs at the rental company itself. I selected unlimited miles as I was driving to the Orlando area. Routes (whose rep said they have a “separate contract”) said there is a 50-mile limit per day for “locals”. So I had to pay whatever they charged or I would not get the rental car! Don’t know who’s the blame, Priceline (for not having disclaimer’s) but definitely Routes/Stride Rent a Car (https://rentcar.rent) who Routes appears to be under the umbrella of Stride. I didn’t know anything about “Stride Rent a Car until I got my final bill in email. 3) Also, according to what I read on-line, there is a senior driver discount of $9.99/day plus tax. No one; Priceline, nor of course Routes rental car, said a word about that discount!!!
