When we arrived at a hotel and checked in the room had insect infestation. They had to send someone to spray the room. God knows what that spray was or how hurtful it was to our health. By the time this ordeal was over it was 3 o’clock in the morning. Needless to say we were exhausted that whole night and ultimately the next day because we had not slept and we really missed out on the activities we had booked for that day. When I asked the hotel management to refund me that one night only they said that because I had booked through Priceline, they could not refund me and Priceline would or should. I have dealt with Customer Service of Priceline for over a month and no one helps me. It’s very frustrating to pay $500 a night only to have a bug infested room. Do not book with Priceline.

TRAVELERS & BOOKING BEWARE! PRICELINE WILL SCAM YOU!! I'm sure my 7000th bad 1 star review won't make a difference but I feel like I need to vent my frustration with this company & the Hotel Indigo in Panama City, FL. Hotel Indigo had wonderful accommodations but when I called the hotel directly off of their Google Website number Hotel Indigo Marina, Panama City answered the call by their hotel name. Spoke to a nice southern gentleman and we talked about their local weather, etc and booked the hotel for 3 nights.

I did understand that if I checked out one day early there would be a penalty of a one night room stay. I had a family death in the family and had to leave unexpectedly a day early for the funeral that was Labor Day weekend that was totally unexpected. I went to the front desk and spoke to Brock and was told that I didn't book my reservation with their hotel directly but with PRICELINE! I looked up on my phone and saw it was a 850 area code number that I had dialed and was told their last four numbers were different and that sometimes that Priceline and other hotel booking companies will answer by the name they are trying to book with the customer. I was never told I was booking thru PRICELINE and the confirmation text & email for check in and out times information had Hotel Indigo listed.

I called PRICELINE customer service and told them my situation and I did understand I verbally agreed to the penalty but I thought I would at least try since it was a family emergency. I spoke to three different people in customer service at PRICELINE which had a very strong accent and was an 888 number and was told I could receive either a voucher to stay another time or receive a refund but it would take 2-10 days to receive. I said I appreciate their understanding and was told if I contacted Hotel Indigo and let them know I was checking out one day early and they agreed the refund by PRICELINE would be accepted once it was escalated to their management team but needed the front desk name I spoke to, which was Brock, that they would handle it from their end.

They never called me back as promised with a confirmation text or email as they agreed to over the phone. I had to check out so I continued to call to see if my refund was still accepted by the escalation department as I still did not receive a confirmation of early cancellation per text or email and each time I called they said yes it was accepted by their escalation team.

When I checked out on the Sept 1, 2025, I was texted on Sept. 3, 2025 and was told my refund would NOT be possible as I checked out a day early and my fee was higher than quoted in the text that was quoted at the time of my booking over the phone! The hotel nightly fee was even cheaper than PRICELINE charged me when I spoke to Brock and said they paid them $176.00 a night. I was charged $250.00 a night by PRICELINE! MY COMPLAINT is I should have been told I was dealing with PRICELINE and the HOTEL INDIGO should have been more concerned with who represents their hotel with their reservation bookings. PRICELINE has notes of each time I called and I shouldn't have been told a refund was possible when escalation time didn't evidently give the permission for a refund as I was told by their customer service three different times I called. WILL NEVER DO THIS AGAIN!! Just threw $250 away!!

Priceline is a scam. Do not use them. You call them for a complaint about your experience with a hotel. They promised ocean view and we received a parking lot View and they say they will put a claim through and will hear back with them within 5 to 7 business days. Still waiting for response almost 2 months later and when you try to call or email with itinerary number they say they can’t find it. They are so misleading and untruthful.

I’m frustrated with Priceline's customer service, experiencing difficulty getting help with problems such as my hotel was booked for 7 days when I only wanted 4 days. This is a "bait and switch" tactic and a general lack of respect for me and my family. They don’t even care about me and my frustrations. This is the worse experience I have ever had. I’m 3 hours into trying to get this resolved. Save yourself, don’t be a fool. I know better but I forgot to look at their ratings first. Now I know why they have a 1 star rating.

I would recommend that anyone buying anything over Priceline think twice. Although their web page says, "Book a car with free cancellation for flexibility" in reality they do not allow cancellations or schedule changes. I rented a car for a trip I was planning 3 months in advance. Priceline took my $700. But 2 weeks before the trip I had an event which caused me to not be able to make the trip. Priceline would not refund any portion of my payment nor allow me to reschedule the rental for a later date. They claim that "Express Deal rental cars are non-refundable..." But nowhere during the setup for the rental did they indicate that I could make no changes.

Updated on 11/08/2025: When I contacted the OtoQ Car Rental customer service number a week before my deposit was to be returned to make sure they didn't forget, I was only able to speak to a "chat" representative. Through the "chat", I was reminded I would not receive my deposit for 30 days from my car drop-off date, and was told that would be on October 2nd. On October 2nd, I did not receive my refund so I contacted the "chat" again. I was then told it is automated and give them 48 hours to figure out why it was not returned. Angry, I told them "No, return my money, as you are now in violation of your own contract."

On October 6th morning, I contacted the "chat" again and was told they needed more time to figure it out. I stated that if my money was not returned by the end of the business day today, I would contact my attorney, file a police report for theft, and contact the Florida Attorney General's Office to report a "SCAM". My refund was returned to my credit card later that same day. A week later, I began receiving FRAUDALENT "fraud alerts" texts to that same credit card and had to shut my card down (Connected? I'm not sure but it seems very suspect). This is an experience I should not have had for a pre-paid package and I am disappointed that Priceline did NOT do a better job of vetting this company before adding them to the list of recommended car rental places. Its reviews are TERRIBLE and should NEVER have been an option. Shame on you, Priceline.

Original: Booked a package trip w/ flight, hotel, and rental car to Miami. Flight w/ American Airlines was fine, but had 3 surprises: Hotel was okay except 2 days before trip, got letter from hotel with 1st surprise: A $22/night resort fee and $45 parking fee, both which had additional taxes/night. Package should have mentioned out of pocket fees and should have included them in the package! 2nd surprise: Rental car invoice stated it was at Miami airport, but instead was at a crappy off-site location. (Resembling a junk car lot in a rundown neighborhood. Although the car we got was decent.) 3rd surprise: Car rental agents charged us $493.36 for deposit & insurance even though I used my own insurance). Again, this was a pre-paid Priceline package for flight, hotel, and car!!!!

Furthermore, the car rental place operates under several business names, was supposed to have a shuttle that picks up and drops off. On arrival, we waited, called, never saw and got a shuttle to rental location. We ended up getting and paying a cab to take us. Only got a ride from rental location back to airport on our departure and only because another couple was dropped off, which by the way, the Shuttle driver immediately left without waiting or checking. He had to be called back to rental center to pick up passengers returning to airport. Not a good experience!

Priceline is the worst. They will let you pay through your virtual card, but at the reception when you go to pick up the car, the rental company will cancel your booking, give you a 100% refund (except for the insurance you bought through Priceline), and let you book another one on the spot. Now, this may seem okay and normal, but booking through the rental company directly on the spot is expensive. So, this negligence from Priceline will cost you so much; you'll need to pay much more... And then when you go to them for a refund of your insurance (the rest is refunded by the rental company only on the spot), they'll tell you 72 hours have passed. It's sadly one of their policies that is mostly hidden, and now they cannot return your insurance money. So, I lost my $30 because of them.

We booked a full package deal through Priceline (car, hotel, flights). While our flights and hotel dates were correct, Priceline gave us the lowest-tier rental car company (NU) and completely messed up the dates. Our flight landed July 13, but Priceline booked the rental car for July 14, one day after we arrived — and then had the return scheduled for the day after we left Hawaii. This meant we paid for a car on a day we weren’t even in the state. When we called, their agents were rude, dismissive, and constantly cut us off. Even after pointing out this was their mistake (our flights and hotel matched the correct dates we entered), they refused to fix it. Their response? “This is very rare this happens.” Rare or not, it happened to us — and they left us stranded.

We asked for a refund or even reimbursement for the $100 in Uber rides we were forced to take. They said no. We asked for a manager. No help. On top of that, our hotel was dirty and had a rude valet. The hotel itself refunded Priceline directly (we confirmed this with the hotel weeks later). Priceline kept the money and never passed it back to us. After a month of waiting, when we called Priceline again, they had the audacity to say, “That’s why we didn’t refund your account — you didn’t call us and request it.” Unbelievable. The hotel did their part, but Priceline tried to keep the refund, essentially attempting to steal our money.

This company is completely dishonest. They do not care about their customers. They refuse to take responsibility for mistakes, they keep refunds owed to you, and their agents treat you with zero respect. We will never use Priceline again. Save yourself the stress and money — book directly with airlines, hotels, and rental car companies. Priceline is not worth the risk.

I will not use this service again, due to receiving no help when I was left stranded at the airport parking garage. After being told by the rental car company NU Rental, you guys paired me with, said they would have a shuttle pick me up and never showed. When I called again, they said they were closed. The next morning, when I arrived at the car rental company, they said that they did not have the car I agreed to, but they did have a premium car and that they would charge me extra 150 dollars more and I would have to take out their insurance for another 50 dollars. They then said I could talk to you guys but I was told by one of your representatives that it was nonrefundable and pretty much was out of luck. So, no car and still got charged for this. Even when my wife tried to call the day this happened, there was no solution you offered other than Oh well. Hopefully, you guys don't get away with doing this to anyone else, but that is wishful thinking.

Priceline does not stand behind their hotels, I booked a hotel through Priceline's site; when I arrived the room was not clean, the bed was unmade and dirty sheets and cover. The bathroom was dirty with dirty towel and wash clothes hanging everywhere, dirty socks on the floor and on dirty furniture. The kitchenette was filthy, empty beer cans and wine bottles on the counter. The refrigerator was full of old food. The entire room was disgusting. I videoed the room and checked out immediately. The clerk told me that I had to get my money back through Priceline. When Priceline called the hotel they lied and told Priceline that I stayed my entire time. I had a issue with my hotel having roaches. After talking with 3 different representatives at Priceline and being flat out lied to and the hotel refusing to do anything I spoke to Mateo and he also lied. I still have not received any resolution. Mateo (a supervisor) stated that it was apparent the hotel did not care and he was escalating the issue to his supervisor to see if we could be refunded and would call us back in 24 hours. 2 days later no call back so I called yet again and was given another supervisor who said we had to wait until next week to see if the hotel was getting an exterminator (we checked out 8/27 and the hotel was informed 8/25 and we gave them pictures of the roaches and Priceline was provided pics as well).

The hotel has already told 3 representatives, us, and 2 supervisors. They weren't doing anything at all to fix this issue as well. It seems all Priceline does is lie and continue giving a run around as well considering the second supervisor said something completely different and stated Priceline has to get a refund from the hotel to do anything when Mateo stated that Priceline would likely handle the issue and refund us since the hotel was unwilling to do anything. This is crazy. I spent over 1300 on a Suite and now extra to ensure I didn't transfer roaches into my home and that they weren't in my car and no one cares at all. Why would we need to wait for a exterminator when there's pictures and the hotel has already made it very clear they aren't doing anything no matter what the exterminator says.

The hotel knows they have roaches. They are crawling across the mirrors in their hallway and they do not care one bit. This was supposed to be a nice hotel not some crappy motel. My whole trip was ruined due to this unclean establishment and now I have to continue arguing for anything to be done. I’ve been a Priceline user for many years now and I’ve been quite satisfied over those years. Unfortunately this year they’ve disappointed me on more than a few occasions. One being; My family of 5 needed to leave our home to ensure safety due to weather. We booked a room in the nearest town and were told that the third party (Priceline) hadn’t provided the payment, which she explained how they use a ghost card. The money had been taken from our account and when I called Priceline, they gave me the runaround and nearly two weeks later, we were refunded. Thankfully we had a little extra saved for such an occasion but had to scrape for food.

I normally plan further ahead and book in advance but on this other occasion, I was able to take the day off and drive out of town for my stepson’s first football game so it was kind of last minute. I have three children with me (2, 8, 11). I booked a room since I can’t drive at night because it’s hard even with my glasses, nor do I want to travel that far with kiddos, especially that late.. I get to the hotel and they immediately tell me that they are completely booked and they’ve already tried resolving the issue with the third party with no luck. I am so exhausted at this point and trying to get everyone cleaned up and fed before the game. I literally just cried because what am I supposed to do? I have just enough money to feed us and get us home.

Priceline finally called me back and was informed I’m going to have to call back tomorrow (Saturday) before they can start the refund process! How can you take someone’s money so quickly but it takes two weeks to give it back? I’m not sure if it’s just my luck lately but just be aware that if you only have a specific amount of money to spend on a trip, if there are any hiccups when you arrive to the hotel, Priceline will absolutely not help get you in a room. I’m having to “camp out” with my 3 kids in an unfamiliar town until daylight because what I had left, went on a room that we can’t stay in. Extremely poor customer service. I’ll stick to booking through other apps. Even if I pay a little extra, I know I’m not gambling on getting a room. ESPECIALLY WHEN I’VE GOT MY BABIES WITH ME!

Recently thought I was booking a room with Hilton Garden Inn on their reservation website three weeks in advance but when I needed to change the reservation I called the number on the reservations website that I used and I was taken to priceline. No where on my confirmation does it say Priceline, it just says "Guest Reservations". The priceline agent told me that I could not modify the reservation and that it was non-refundable (three weeks in advance). This is essentially theft of my money - $398 . I will never trust an online booking website again. I will always call the hotel directly from now on. What a rip-off by what was once a reputable company.

HOWEVER, after I booked my flight and hotel, my confirmation reflected completely different departure and arrival times for both flights. I contacted Priceline customer service and literally every single person I spoke with (5 people total) were incredibly rude and had an ugly attitude. No one could help me fix my issue. They all just suggested I cancel my booking and start over because there was nothing they could do to change my flight time. So I took their advice and cancelled my entire trip, but did not rebook. For the second time, I've been burned by Priceline with what I think is a bait and switch tactic where you search and book a hotel room for 4, they quote you a price and when you arrive at the hotel, lo and behold, you have to pay for your other two loggers. The hotel, rightly, says you have to call Priceline to set it straight and they just chirp, "terms of the contract" at you. So in addition to the questionable sales tactics which I can only assume are cynical and purposeful, customer service consists of little more than stonewalling. You'll do better with Expedia any day.

Just found out the hard way. Booked a package for my family and what a disaster. Had to wait an hour for rental car shuttle. Got to Routes. Told them they needed a card for deposit and charged them $500. Then turned around and told them they would not accept our insurance ‘Meemic’ although a quick search shows they do. They bullied my family and had my wife so upset. They then said they would have to cancel the reservation and charged another $75 fee. We will still on the hook for the $279 rental fee (they said it would be 30 days to refund -the $75) and left my family with no car. My wife then demanded the $500 back and they told her she would see it back in 30 days or more and left them stuck at Routes.

They then had to pay $40 to take an Uber to hotel where they were charged another $150 deposit and $125 resort fee (although they could not articulate what the fee was for) so now they are $650 in holds, $279 for a car they cannot use and $75 cancel fee. I call Priceline and get the runaround. They hung up on my three times. Would not let me speak to a supervisor and said someone would call me back within 24 hours, but they would not help with any refunds. My family is down in Florida with less than $100 for the next two days, no car and a trip ruined. Priceline is a joke and I will be fighting them tooth and nail to get everything back and will never book with these clowns again. What a disaster.

I get a call less than 2 weeks before the event saying the hotel overbooked and my reservation would be cancelled. They checked and there were no rooms left in the city (which I had already told them). So they said they would give me my full refund + 20%. The transaction history in the Priceline app shows I was receiving the 20% yet only the original amount hit my PayPal. I had to call to talk to someone who said they would e-mail management and they'd e-mail me back. Over a week and still no extra 20%.

We have nowhere to stay for this event out of town and they have done nothing extra to make it up to us. Absolutely terrible business practice punishing those who plan ahead and already paid for their room. Not to mention, this hotel had bookings listed days later that were astronomical prices compared to when we originally booked. They said I needed approval from the hotel to get this refund. So I get approval and they say Oh no, it needs to be written. The hotel manager doesn’t want to give me the written approval because they know Priceline will scam us both.

The hotel manager says they will take the refund from her and not give it to me - and she was right! She even tried to call them and give the approval to make sure they know they have to give me the refund. This back and forth went on for 3 weeks until I had to get angry and be mean to the customer service and then they said "Fine, we will put you on hold and call the hotel." I wait for 2 hours and they call back and say, "Ok we got your refund, it will be in your account in a few days." I think finally this can end.

Three days later, I get an email saying I still have not gotten my refund. I call and they say the hotel never sent the refund and they still want written approval to reach out again. I am so fed up at this point and angry but I say, "Fine, I’ll call the hotel." And the hotel of course, confirms that they sent the refund 3 days before when Priceline called and said I was on the other line! I knew they were lying and they are just trying to make me give up on my refund so they can pocket the money. It must be some kind of game amongst the customer service reps. They are awful people and I will forever spread the word to not use Priceline. I will now be going to my bank to dispute this and get a refund because I am convinced these people will never be honest and give me my refund.

They said I could file a claim for best price guarantee but I wasn’t logged into VIP account when I booked it so I couldn’t do that. Be very careful with Priceline as the prices are misleading and customer service is useless!

I spent hours researching hotels in the Amalfi Coast for my honeymoon. A client of mine highly recommended a hotel with a specific room. I usually book directly through hotels but after being solicited by Priceline through emails and ads, I decided to give it a try. Especially because it was easier to book a hotel overseas on their platform. To make a long story short, after paying extra, I’m talking hundreds of dollars extra for a top floor suite and receiving confirmation in my email with all the dates and price and room confirmed, I thought I was set.

Good thing I called the hotel on my own. Much to my disappointment, I learned Priceline’s “third party” affiliate sent over the wrong room type to the hotel. The only reason I even chose this was based on the room that came recommended to me. I have gone back and forth with Priceline for over 2 weeks now and still have not received compensation or the room I originally purchased. They told me they tried to reach out to the hotel over a week ago but when I called the hotel AGAIN, they said no such thing was true. Priceline admitted they made an error, but have done barely anything to correct it. We are so so disappointed.

It’s just false advertisement and human error that I should not have to suffer for. This was supposed to be an enjoyable time. A honeymoon is a major life event. I’ve wasted so much time and money and didn’t get what I paid for. It’s been very frustrating that nobody in their customer service team speaks English as a first language. It’s also frustrating that I have to keep calling Europe from the USA to check up on Priceline, (who is supposed to be a major brand). I have even gone so far as to escalate the issue to their corporate office and nothing has been resolved. I’m now 1 week away from my flight with zero resolution. If I wanted to stay in a basic room, I wouldn’t have paid double for it. Ridiculous that I have to follow up on their behalf. I will never use their services again.

I contacted Priceline 3 times requesting to speak with a Manager and someone in the U.S. After several hours they told me they can’t help me. The extra $323.50 we paid to the rental car company created a hardship on our trip and ruined our trip as we couldn’t attend any attractions and could only afford to have one meal a day. I booked three rooms at Best Western Freeport Inn through Priceline on June 24 for an August 3–4 stay. Upon arrival at the motel on August 3, the receptionist told me they had only received a reservation for two rooms from Priceline and refused to give me the third room because they were fully booked. She told me to call Priceline to get a refund for the third room. I called Priceline immediately. The representative refused to speak to me—literally giving me the silent treatment. When she finally did speak, she mumbled so much that I couldn’t hear her. I asked to be transferred to someone else who could help, but she refused, saying everyone had the same training as her. After 30 minutes of silence and being placed on hold, I had to hang up.

The next day, I called again and spoke with someone named “Dave.” He said he couldn’t reach anyone at Best Western to confirm whether I had received the third room and told me to call back in three hours. When I called back, I spoke with “Josh,” who also said he couldn’t reach anyone at Best Western. He promised to try again later and call me back. Three days passed with no call from Priceline. On August 8, I called again. This time, they told me they had managed to reach someone at Best Western named Shannon, who claimed I was a “no show” and therefore not entitled to a refund. How could I be a “no show” when I was there on August 3 and was given two of the three rooms?

I asked to speak with a supervisor, but she refused to help, repeating that because the motel said I was a “no show,” there would be no refund. I asked her again—how could I be a “no show” if I received two of the three rooms? After dealing with five different representatives, no one at Priceline was willing to help me. Not only did I not get my third room, but I was also charged for it and wasted countless hours on hold with Priceline.

I land at around 11 pm, wait for the car shuttle outside the airport, only to find through the other passengers that the rental car company is out of cars. Called Priceline, who didn’t even know about what is going on. And there I was, with my luggage, completely stranded outside in an unknown place at midnight. I ran over to Enterprise, thank heavens they are a reputable company and fixed me up with a car. It’s been almost a month trying to reimburse the money from Priceline. I am frustrated that I was unable to get a refund after booking something in error. I accidentally booked a hotel in the wrong location - Athens, Georgia, instead of Athens, Greece. Yes, I agreed to the non-refundable terms (thinking that I was booking with Hilton, not Priceline). These mistakes are on me. I should have paid closer attention. I immediately cancelled the reservation (less than five minutes later) after I realized. I called Priceline, and they advised me to obtain the name and title of someone at the hotel to see if I could get a refund. I was unable to get someone from the hotel because the Hilton was closed and undergoing renovations to become a Marriott. I contacted both hotel chains through email, but neither claimed to have access to the reservation.

I sent Priceline the information, and they said they would not refund me due to the policy. Again, I understand it was non-refundable, but the policy is ridiculous. Also, I see this as a way to take advantage of human error, since they can't even allow any grace for a reservation that was made in error, cancelled within minutes, and that neither hotel had a record of. Neither hotel is losing anything since they don't have a record of the reservation ever having been made; therefore, Priceline gets to pocket almost $1300, while I still have to pay for my actual trip to Greece.

What can only be described as a total failure of service, accountability, and integrity on Priceline’s part. While on a beautiful East Coast vacation, I relied on Priceline to secure a $400+ hotel reservation in Nova Scotia. After driving over 200km to reach the property, I was shocked to be turned away by the hotel staff. Their explanation? "Priceline has been selling rooms for the last 2–3 months that do not exist in our inventory." I was the fifth couple turned away that day alone. The hotel was fully booked, and there was no record whatsoever of my reservation.

This is not a minor glitch—it’s a massive operational failure with direct and damaging consequences to customers. Being stranded on a busy Saturday during peak tourism season, with limited availability across the province, meant the next available hotel was over 100km away, compounding an already exhausting and disruptive ordeal.

To make matters worse, Priceline’s customer service added insult to injury. In order to issue a refund, they insisted on calling the hotel to “verify” the issue. But here’s the absurdity: this verification only happens after the customer has driven hundreds of kilometers, been turned away, and wasted precious time. Why is there no verification or real-time inventory check before the booking is even accepted? It is asinine business practice to allow customers to pay and plan around accommodations that may not even exist, only to “check” after things have already gone wrong.

Even more frustrating, the representative asked me to find the hotel’s phone number—placing the burden on the customer to solve a problem that is entirely Priceline’s to own. This highlights a complete lack of coordination, internal controls, and care. This situation required two calls and over an hour of my time just to receive a refund and a meager $50 "goodwill credit"—which I was told would take 3–5 business days to be applied. After calling back to follow up when the credit was not received, I was abruptly hung up on by another Priceline representative.

In total, this experience wasted over 7 hours of my time, caused a 200+ km detour, resulted in unnecessary financial strain, and derailed what should have been a stress-free part of my vacation. To date, I have still not received the goodwill credit. This goes beyond poor customer service. How is it legal to sell hotel rooms using real photos and descriptions, with no actual room availability or working relationship with the property? This is a deceptive and harmful business practice that should not be allowed to continue unchecked. Consumers deserve protection from this kind of negligence. I hope others read this and think twice before using Priceline. What happened to me is unacceptable, and until Priceline can ensure accuracy, accountability, and transparency in their listings, they do not deserve your trust—or your business.

I will NEVER use Priceline or Avis again, or recommend them to anyone else! I was assured by Priceline before booking this trip that there would be no additional fee for adding my husband, my legal spouse, as an additional driver, I just needed to add him at the counter. When I picked up the car at the Wichita, Kansas airport, I was informed that since I booked the rental using a third-party service, I would be charged $13 a day for adding him. It’s only free to add a spouse if I book directly through Avis.

I was charged an additional $65 for adding him, even though their own website says spouses are free. I called Priceline as soon as we left the airport, and was assured by the manager that the policies they abide by were taken directly from Avis themselves, and that adding my spouse would be free. She put me on hold and supposedly called the Avis counter and spoke to the same man who we dealt with, and assured me that if I was charged, it would be refunded, and gave me a case number.

Well, my credit card was indeed charged and not refunded. This is FRAUD, plain and simple. Nowhere on the Avis website does it say that if we book our trips with a third-party service then we have to pay for an additional driver. I even have a case number from Priceline because I was assured that any charges for the additional driver would be refunded at drop-off and that was a lie, as my credit card was charged $80.19 for additional charges, $65 of that being for the additional driver and who knows what the rest of it was. I am cancelling my credit card today so that this fraud company can’t charge anything else to my card.

I will definitely not be using Priceline again. Price line booked my reservation at the Holiday Inn in Florence SC. I was traveling with elderly people and the hotel elevator was out of order for more than a week according to other hotel guest. Blame-Shifting and Lack of Resolution attempts to resolve the situation were met with a frustrating cycle of finger-pointing between IHG and Priceline. No one took responsibility or the initiative to address the problem. This lack of coordination and accountability is unacceptable and reflects poorly on the management practices of both companies.

Neither Priceline or Holiday Inn Express offered any additional accommodations without a substantial price increase. When calling Holiday Inn corporate I was put on hold for over 48 minutes and no one ever returned the the phone call. Neither Priceline nor Holiday Inn Express offered any form of compensation or meaningful support despite the clear inconvenience and distress caused.

Let me start out by saying, I was really disappointed in the service. The supervisor I spoke with, was the absolute worst. I called to complain about the inhabitable room I was given by the Days In North Augusta, and the Priceline supervisor pretty much dismissed my claim. He called the front desk and because they claimed I had been upgraded, there was nothing Priceline was willing to do. The A/C unit leaked water under the floor tile from the door to the bathroom, so when I walked you could hear the water squish. The tub looked like Scabbies ground zero. Mold along the walls and baseboard from the water leaking, and cigarette burns in the sheets. Please see the pictures I am posting.

This is horrible, to even keep a person in this hotel is outrageous, and in-human. And to make some pay full price with no compensation is down right Tyrant of you all. You all should not even promote such a place. As a seasoned Hotel General Manager myself, I urge you all to stay away from Priceline and it's affiliates. Ps. I tried to upload the video, but it would not let me.

PRICELINE.COM INSURANCE SCAM ALERT – BEWARE OF COVER GENIUS/XCOVER TRAVEL INSURANCE. Cover Genius (address: 11 W 42nd St, 30th Floor, New York, NY 10036) is offering what appears to be fraudulent travel insurance coverage through its brand Xcover. I purchased a policy through a trusted travel platform (Priceline) expecting legitimate coverage. What I got instead was a nonexistent service with no way to file a claim, no working phone numbers, no functioning website links, and zero customer support. When I had to cancel my trip due to a medical emergency on the day of departure, I attempted to submit a claim and was met with a dead end at every turn:

Their online claims portal was non-functional.
No valid customer service contact numbers are available.
Emails and support requests go unanswered.

There is no way to reach a live human being.

This is not an insurance provider. This is a scam hiding behind tech and red tape. It’s disgraceful that reputable platforms like Priceline are partnering with this company. Consumers are paying for a service that does not exist, and it seems designed to make sure you cannot file a claim when it matters most. What You Should Do: Avoid Cover Genius/Xcover at all costs. Report them to:

    FTC – Federal Trade Commission
IC3 – Internet Crime Complaint Center
    Your state’s Department of Insurance
File complaints with the BBB and consumer protection agencies.

Dispute the charge with your credit card provider for services not rendered.

Do your due diligence before trusting any "insurance" that Priceline or other platforms sell. This company is nothing more than a digital façade meant to collect premiums and vanish when it's time to pay out. Be warned. Save your money. Protect yourself.

Let me share my recent experience, which turned out to be a nightmare. About a month ago, I booked a hotel through Priceline, excitedly planning a trip with my family. We arrived at the hotel, only to be met with the disappointing news that they had overbooked. My heart sank as they explained that they had given my room away, and the only option left was a cramped room with just one bed for me and husband and all my children.

I had been so eager to show my family the spacious hotel room I had secured, and instead, I felt utterly embarrassed as they joined me at the front desk, hoping to see our future accommodations. The staff offered me a $100 discount per night, which was somewhat comforting, but it did little to resolve our sleeping arrangements.

That first night was a struggle. The kids and I ended up on the floor, and by morning, I had to ask for a room with at least two beds. The front desk staff informed me I could only receive a $50 discount instead and would check for another room. To my relief, they found us a new room, but it was still the same size, just with two beds—so we all squeezed in together for our remaining days.

The hotel itself left much to be desired. It was unclean, and every day we found ourselves making trips to the front desk for basic necessities like towels, which were often dirty, and toilet paper that was never replenished. Overall, this was one of the worst experiences I've ever had. I’ve decided that neither I nor my family will ever return to this hotel, nor will we book through Priceline again. It was a tough lesson learned, and I hope to spare others from a similar fate.

I’ve used Priceline in the past and I do believe they give you pretty good deals. However on this last trip they were a bit misleading. I know better than to book a car rental off site. I've learned that lesson in the past by waiting for a shuttle for 45 minutes in the dead summer in Florida. But so on this one trip while booking it said ‘Fox rent a car’ southwest Florida airport. So I assumed the car was at the airport. Well it wasn’t. It was off site. So again had to wait 45 mins for a shuttle. I will be leaving a review for fox as well. I wanted Priceline to know that they were not as honest. It usually says while booking ‘at airport’ or ‘off site’. I would literally have to check the address of fox or the airport to know where they were exactly. I mean who does that. So you can say it was my fault for not checking thoroughly. But even with that said, it also didn’t say off site.

I called Priceline's 800 number, spoke with their customer service rep and was told that all I can do is cancel my reservation. They made no attempts to reroute me to a different rental company or offer me an alternative deal on two smaller vehicles. The vehicle rental company was bad, but Priceline was worse for leaving me stranded. It's a numbers game for them. They don't care about their customers. They care about volume sales. I booked our flights from the USA to Dublin back in January 2025 through Priceline on British Airways, and my flight is in 9 days. I have not heard a peep from either company since then about my flight itinerary, well actually Priceline today at 9:25am confirmed my flight (the one that I booked). I got an email from British airways today about upgrades and went to check them out...luckily I had done this... I saw that my flight to and from had been changed, not just the times but the days as well, so that meant that our return flight, out of Dublin, was one we could no longer catch since we would be in London at the time. Does not matter much, but side-note when the flight was rebooked the layover between flights was only 5 minutes which is not enough time! I called British Airways first and they said that since I booked through Priceline and Priceline had been the ones who changed the flights they could not help me.

I called Priceline and it was amazing how the agent was able to basically tell me there was nothing he could do except offer a refund. He said British airways had no flights and they could not use the money I paid for other airlines makes no sense... the agent kept repeating the same things over and over, this is a huge issue. I just had a very similar issues with VRBO and something has got to change, everyone is willing to take our money, but when we have issues they all have loopholes and "reasons" they just cannot help us. Priceline is no better, horrible customer service. The agent kept explaining things to me like I was the idiot. I did not appreciate his repetitive explanations.

Or they should clearly let their customer to be aware in certain scam behavior of the Sprit Airlines. This Airlines will make you rebook your tickets for additional $99.00 for domestic flights if you there 30 minutes before the flight and don’t let you go through TSA. 2nd Priceline shouldn’t encourage by saying the most booked hotel, such as hotel Rodeo INN, Austin Georgetown, which is way below the standard specialty for family travelers, advertised with such greatest picture and trick and leave their valued customer with such terrible experience.

3rd. Again when you made a list for rental car, ’they should clearly let us the rental car like Easyrent or others. They are offsite of the airport and their business hrs. Got Austin International Airport at 9:45 pm and the rental co has closed at 8:00 pm and imagine you travel and hoping you have a prepaid rental car and end up walk in to other rentals last minute rental with higher price. We made a mistake and booked for the wrong day, but immediately called Priceline to tell them what we did and they said they will still help us as long as we contact the hotel. We did and they were very accommodating, and was able to switch the days. When we got to the hotel they said they saved the room for us but Priceline wasn’t going to pay. When we called Priceline, they said that they weren’t going to help us because we cancelled and they wouldn’t give us a refund. Which was incorrect, we wanted to switch the days, NOT cancel. They then said that the only way to fix the issue was to cancel, but they wouldn’t give us a refund. We told them the information is incorrect and they were supposed to switch the days and we would pay the difference.

We got the round about with the customer service saying they contacted the hotel and it was their issue. Incorrect because we were in the lobby the whole time and Priceline did not call. The woman who helped us first was so rude, interrupting my husband when he spoke and was not doing what she said she was. We then talked to a manager at Priceline who said they would help us, but then switched us to the card processing area. They were trying to charge a wrong card, which we have no idea where they got their information, then only charged $1 to a card. They were giving the poor man at the lobby the run around.

I have no idea why they would put in their policies that they would be able help with switching dates for rooms if they will not help. Then the clincher, after over an hour of the back and forth, they hung up on my husband without resolving the issue. Worst customer service EVER, and they try to get you to cancel so they get their money. We WILL NOT book with them again and I encourage any who read this NOT to book with them.

I now have to pay for an Uber to get to the airport and rush to hopefully make a flight. I called to complain regarding the inconvenience this has now caused me on my trip. When you're given a service by a travel agency company you would think that they would give you flight times and rental services that would coordinate an efficient time management for you. That is the entire point of using a service like this. They claim their systems don't work like that. How does that even make sense that you would bundle a flight and a car rental service that doesn't open in a timely manner for drop off.

While on my call they offer me a coupon that can only be used for October and expires which is a joke. I ask to speak to a manager. Only to be transferred to a supervisor. Who offers no resolution and tells me the conversation is unproductive when I ask to speak to an actual manager. Then tells me I can't speak to a manager. Then I find out if miss the managers call they don't provide a call back number and I have to call customer service again and do the process all over. But I was the one being unproductive. That is unproductive. Your customer service is unproductive. You offered no resolution to your lack of ability of time management in your failed system and I suffer from that and the best you offer is a coupon that can only be used in a certain month and expires? Similar to other experiences, Priceline refund process is the worst. As a consumer, you have options—I’d go with someone else and in the future I will. I’ve literally delete the app. I rented a car through Priceline for an event I needed to attend. I was on a very tight timeline. When I landed I was informed that although I had a reservation—no cars were available—no upgrades/nothing. The rental car company “$”, was worthless to say the least. This forced a rental from another company, at the last minute, at double the cost. Kudos to National. After calling and getting a grasp of the documentation needed for reimbursement I provided this to them promptly and was assured a quick turnaround. While I received a refund for the original cost, I did not get reimbursement of the difference. Which is policy if this happens.

I’ve called them 4 times and gotten the same, almost to the letter monologue, in hindsight, I should’ve recorded them. Bottom line they stated to the letter, "It’s been referred to our operations division and you’ll hear something in 3-5 business days”. I honestly believe their strategy is for you to give up and forget about it. This is going on 60 + days and still nothing despite them acknowledging that they have some equity. This last ‘customer service rep was the worst. I provided an ultimatum that either I was staying on the phone until I spoke to someone above her, had a resolution, or she hangs up. Guess what her answer was—“click”. That in itself should tell you something.

Alamo Rent A Car Rental through Priceline. They provide no customer service. Any options they provided was to reserve a car through another car rental agency and be charged again. No Refund just start all over again after being inconvenienced by Alamo Rent A Car at Atlanta Airport. Priceline did absolutely nothing to try to correct the matter and make sure their customer was provide with the service they had paid for!!!

On top of that Alamo Atlanta airport is Horrible and I wouldn't recommend them to my Worst Enemy. They treated my Son who rented a Premium SUV (Audi) from them in Charlotte to drive to an event he had in Atlanta GA for it to not start on day 2 for No Reason. It had to be Towed! As a replacement car they give him an OLD "Have seen better days" Mitsubishi Mirage that he "Had" to drive for two days while they (customer service & Management) continue to lie to him that they were going to see what they can to assist him. Clearly #1 Alamo does not maintain good maintenance on their vehicles and #2 they do not honor their contracts and #3 They don't provide GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE!!

They gave him a sorry excuse that they had to provide the cars for people who are leaving the airport and because he picked up the car in Charlotte he should be satisfied that they got him in that mirage! It shouldn't matter if the car was picked up in another city/state how about Alamo should be Alamo where ever you go and you do your DUE DILIGENCE to provide for your customer who paid for a service and a Premium vehicle.

On an on top of that he received conflicting information from customer service who told him that if they have no cars available "ALAMO" should reach out to neighboring car rental agency's at the airport or one of their local branches to provide a comparable car for him. They did absolutely nothing to assist my son in finding him a comparable vehicle to the one he rented. As a result Inventory that he purchased that, that premium SUV could accommodate for had to be thrown away. And money gone because that little Mitsubishi Mirage couldn't accommodate. I am TOTALLY DISGUSTED with Alamo and we will never use them again. They get ZERO STARS FROM ME!!!!

However, after a minor car collision, I contacted customer service only to be told that the insurance was never added to my reservation. This was extremely frustrating because I clearly remember choosing insurance during checkout. Customer support was unhelpful and simply said that "the insurance didn’t go through." Now I’m stuck covering the damage costs myself. What’s the point of offering bundled bookings if the platform can’t reliably process all the selected options? This experience has left me very disappointed. I would advise others to double-check every detail and not rely on the system to work as expected. Honestly, one of the worst booking experiences I’ve had.

TRASH. I booked an entire vacation package through them. DO NOT DO THIS. They have a 0% common sense customer service base. Booked plane, rental car, and hotel through them. Not only did they screw up in setting up the flights, when I contacted them on travel day as the flight leaving BWI was non-existent. They attempted to ask for an additional $1000 for 2 plane tickets to FL and the person had the nerve to say, this is the price when I book at the last minute even though it was their mistake and they don't pay attention. I found the same flight that they tried to sell me the 2 tickets for $1000, for only $500 for the pair. They attempted to get 100% profit out of me. Then they had to modify the time of arrival. Then original flight that they claimed to have purchased would have had me arriving at 11:30 am. The new flight has me arriving at 10:00 pm.

The genius on the phone said they would hold the hotel and rental car for 2 hours past the original time. No need for modification. Clearly common sense and math isn't there thing as I was going to be arriving 11 hours later. But in order to do any task, they have to transfer you to another person. After 3 hours on the phone and 5 agents, 4 supervisors. (One required for each part of the trip had to be a different person - great customer service (NOT).)

The one handling the rental car advised me that in America rental car agencies don't open local offices until 11:00 am. Clearly clueless and lazy. So I had to get transferred to a supervisor who wasn't to much better. They will not give you the contact numbers for direct contact as you would find out that they make 100% profit off of you and in some cases don't pay for your package in advance hoping that you are forced to cancel and they can keep the money. These guys are real pieces of crap with no care or concern for the customer. AVOID. (Also through BOOKING.COM) SAME unholy connection in the two companies.

The worst decision to book hotels via Priceline.com. Never ever in my life I will use this website again! I booked the hotel in Glenview, IL. After arrival to the hotel I have been told by the clerk that they had never received my reservation! He showed me all the reservations during that day and mine was not there. I ended up paying twice for the room. What about priceline? Nothing at all, they have "created" an issue and two year have been telling me that their decision is still pending. They asked me to email them the proof of my reservation 3 times!

Another experience with them happened just recently in June of 2025. I tried to pay for booking and the system did not accept my credit card. I entered another credit card but they have changed the dates of my reservation! As a results I payed for the reservation in July, instead of June! They refused to process my refund and “advised” me to talk to the hotel! The hotel clerk showed me that they do not even see the sum of reservation until the check-in date! As result I had to pay for the room twice! Of course, I have not use my second reservation which I do not need! I have lost more than $200 with Priceline.com and 5-6 hours of my time! I would recommend to avoid them at all costs! Hotels have their own discount systems and it is much easier and cheaper to book with them! Priceline customer service is a disaster! I had to wait 3 hours to speak with a life person!

We recently booked a trip with Priceline which booked our flight through Air Canada from Columbus, OH to Dubai, with layovers in Toronto and Rome. What should have been an exciting family trip turned into a nightmare filled with stress, poor service, and a complete lack of accountability from Air Canada. After landing in Rome, we missed our connecting flight to Dubai. The Rome airport could not assist us, as they do not have an Air Canada representative on site. We had no choice but to call Air Canada’s customer service line. After extremely long hold times, we finally reached an agent who rebooked us on a new Emirates flight to Dubai. We were reassured that our four checked luggage would be transferred to the new flight without issue.

We flew out of Rome on Sunday, July 6th at 3:45 PM and arrived in Dubai around 11:30 PM. Unfortunately, none of our four checked bags arrived. We filed a claim with Emirates, who informed us that since the original booking was with Air Canada, we must follow up with them directly. It is now Tuesday, July 8th, and we still have not received any of our luggage. We’ve made multiple attempts to contact Air Canada, only to be met with long hold times, disconnected calls, and rude, unhelpful agents who have shown no sympathy or urgency. To make matters worse, we have not received any compensation for the inconvenience, the missing luggage, or for the cancellation of all our planned reservations in Dubai due to the delay and lost bags.

We are currently stuck in a foreign country without our belongings, proper clothing, or any reliable communication from the airline. This has been one of the most disappointing travel experiences we have ever had. We expected much better from a major international airline. We are sharing this review in hopes that Air Canada or Priceline takes responsibility and finally provides the support and resolution we deserve.

Priceline charged me $183.00 right away on my credit card. The affiliated company that Priceline represented was Easirent. Upon arrival in Arizona, Easirent also charges you for rental, insurance, deposit and daily surcharges. The total ended up over $500 for a four day rental. The rental car I received was faulty. Four flat tires, service engine soon light flashing and oil change due.

Long story short...Easirent owned up to the faulty car I was given and gladly refunded their charges. However, Priceline will NOT take responsibility for a company they represent. We booked a five-star hotel in Washington, DC, during July of 2025. Upon our arrival, we were informed that we'd be charged a $35 daily amenity fee. When we checked out, that amenity fee was, indeed, charged to our credit card along with a $5-and-change room tax per day. I reviewed Priceline booking page for this hotel and our itinerary for the fine print about this amenity fee. Only after reviewing the itinerary and specifically looking for the info did I notice this statement: "This hotel charges an additional $173.95. This fee will be charged to you directly by the hotel. Mandatory fees are not optional and typically cover items such as resort fees, energy charges or safe fees." Nonethless, I still call this out as BS because this statement is not presented during the booking process.

As of this moment on 10 July 2025, the cost of a room at this hotel on Priceline is $35 less than what a comparable room costs if booked directly through the hotel's website - the difference being precisely the cost of the amenity fee. Thus, IMHO, it appears that Priceline is deceitful in that they present their price as less than what the hotel is asking for when, in fact, the actual cost of the room looks to be the same. As a hotel manager explained when I asked questions about their "mandatory" amenity fee, you are probably better off booking directly with hotels because hotels are transparent about all their fees, plus you might get points and other loyalty perks.

Stayed at Hyatt Centric downtown Minneapolis on May 20th, 2025. I had booked 3 rooms (us and our kids). Upon checkout, we were charged for one of our rooms. They stated it was because they had not been paid by the third party booking (Agoda) and I would have to ask for refund from them or contact them to get it straightened out. I booked thru Priceline. I have been trying since May 21st (it is now July 10, 2025), with no luck to get my refund for a room I paid for twice.

Never ever again will I do business with Priceline. I was not aware and you have to read the fine print that they do business with 3rd parties. So when you have a problem and it was not specifically with Priceline, it was with a 3rd party & good luck with that. I spent over 3 hrs on the phone with being transferred back & forth and being hung up on at least twice & kept on hold by one rep for 28 mins before I was hung up on & she did not call me back like she said she would if we were disconnected. Numerous times I asked for a supervisor or manager and I was refused. One star for the one person who helped me at the 3rd party company.

I booked a rental car through Priceline, for a Budget rental at the airport. They wouldn't take my Visa debit card at the Budget, and told me my money would have to be refunded from Priceline. I contacted Priceline online and told them what happened, and was immediately told my booking was non refundable, and to have a nice day...They stole $300+ from me for nothing. Beware, just rent through the rental company themselves, had no problem with Enterprise, which was also cheaper...

Do NOT book anything with this company anymore!!! I have spent over $50k with them over the last 9 years....flights, hotels, cars...a bunch. Last night, over $27.99...they left me hanging on a hotel room at a 4 star Hilton! They never pushed the reservation to them.. I go to check in and no reservation... Priceline charged my card. Then I had to pay the rack hotel rate. Priceline elected to to cancel the reservation...leaving me out $27.99. My $50k over the last decade wasn't good enough. Am a platinum member. Hope you enjoy the $27.99 Priceline. Going to book Expedia from now on! Goodbye. Just deleted the app!

This review deserves a -5. We flew to FL for July 4th. Flights went well and picked up our car rental. Drove to the resort on the beach where we had reserved a gulf view room only to be told there was no reservation for us and the reservation confirmation number in our email did not exist with this resort. When we called Priceline there was over an hour wait time and the recording told us that they would call us back. All this time, we were sitting in the rental with a/c blasting due to the summer heat. We spent the whole day on the phone with priceline after landing in FL at 10 am. Even the resort said this is a very bad situation as we are sold out. Infact the whole area was sold out!! It was a holiday weekend and we even had trouble finding a hotel inland. I was starting to think we would be staying in our car rental! We FINALLY got a hotel 4 miles inland from our original resort hotel and checked in at 5pm!

Our whole day was wasted, not to mention the emotional impact of all of this. Moving forward we made the most of it and bought day passes for two days at the resort so we could at least experience it. Once back home, we reached out to Priceline as we wanted to know the difference in price going from a beach resort with a gulf view to just a regular Hampton Inn. Of course, Priceline would not tell us that and told us that we were not eligible to receive any kind of reimbursement as we had accepted the option to relocate hotels LOL!!! What was our option??? Sleeping in the car rental or buying a tent and pitching it on the beach!!?? This was a total nightmare and our suggestion is to never book through Priceline!!

I suggest ever to get Priceline. I book a hotel and there was emergency 🚨 that happened two days before and they won’t help you with anything. I tried getting my refund back or accommodate for another day to use my money at the same hotel and they will still not give it to me and I did call more than 24 hours to cancel or do anything so I won’t lose my money. They are not helpful or give a damn. Will ever get it Priceline ever again.

Priceline has the worst customer service. Their business model is based on scamming people. We made a mistake of booking hotel and flight reservation thru Priceline. When we found out that the hotel room is not that whey advertised, we decided to cancel the hotel reservation but Priceline would not refund our money by playing dumb telephone game. Every time we called their customer service they would put us on hold for at least 1 hour and then the line would just got disconnected. It has been more than couple months now and we still have not received our refund nor proper response from their customer service.

Screen who these hotel chain owners are and who they hire, complete crooks. Hard earned money not ripping off others to get it, it will be the last you’ll get from me. I will never book with anything knowingly affiliated with Double Tree hotels or Priceline. Public beware of of this hotel in Eatontown & the people who run them.

My wife booked a room at the Wyndham San Diego Bay side on or about June 23rd for three nights from 6/23-26th. She wanted a bay side room and was told skyline Bayview. She specifically asked if the room faced the bay and was told YES. Upon arrival, this was not the case and we had to pay an additional $297.47 in upgrade fees to overcome the deception put upon us by the dishonest people at Priceline. When we brought this deception to the attention of the people at Priceline, our complaints were ignored by them. We will never do business with this company again and furthermore, we will do everything we can to bring this unethical business practice to all who will listen.

The Department of Defense should immediately revoke its contract with Priceline. The company engages in deceptive pricing practices and operates outside the legal standards that airlines are required to follow. As a result, hidden fees are being unfairly passed on to our military members and veterans who use the Armed Forces Travel site—an initiative sponsored and run by Priceline.

I’m a Platinum VIP customer with Priceline. Every year, I book 30+ room nights, 8+ return flights, and over 10 rental cars – totaling $30,000+ in spend. You’d think that would earn some respect or reliable service. Instead, I’ve experienced the worst customer service and outright billing scams that rival shady internet fraud.

Most recently, I booked a package deal to Vancouver, BC through Priceline - 3 hotel nights + -rental car., and prepaid $878 USD. What followed was a nightmare: The rental car company said they were never paid by Priceline. I was forced to pay $380 CAD out of pocket, which Priceline claimed they’d refund. They didn’t. At Blackcomb Springs Suites, the hotel told me they were never paid by Priceline either and refused to let me check in. I had no choice but to pay $467 CAD directly to the hotel.

Only one night at the Delta Kamloops honored the Priceline booking – but that room only costs ~$220 CAD including tax, not the $878 USD Priceline charged me. So for almost $900 USD, all I got was a single night worth around $160 USD. It's now been over a month (since May 30th) and I’m still being bounced between robotic support agents and useless “supervisors” who give me the same tired lines: “We didn’t charge you.” “We’re working on it.” “We’ll contact the hotel and car rental.” “Please give us more time.”

I call twice a week minimum, waste hours each time, and nothing gets resolved. No accountability. No urgency. No refund. This isn’t the first time either — I’ve seen frequent overcharges, shady USD-CAD exchange rate tricks, and huge price differences between what Priceline offers and what the hotel or rental company charges directly. It’s become clear that Priceline is price-gouging and exploiting customers, even loyal VIPs.

Warning to Other Travelers: Do NOT share your credit card with these scammers. You’re better off booking directly or using a platform that respects you and resolves issues when they arise. Priceline used to be reliable. Now it feels like a bait-and-switch racket. Platinum VIP means absolutely nothing to them. Stay far away. You've been warned.

Very unhelpful and unreliable. Purchased a reservation to a hotel in San Antonio only to realize the dates weren’t correct. I received no help from customer service in regards to trying to correct the dates, or even cancel the reservation so I could rebook the correct dates. Instead I was passed around to 3 different people who instead told me to contact the hotel itself. The hotel was unable to assist as the reservation was from Priceline. I then had to book a second reservation through the hotel’s website, and was also stuck with the Priceline bill. Tried calling them again only to be put on hold for half an hour and could never get into contact with a single person. I never attended that reservation, and I was stuck with the bill. Thanks for the amazing customer support, y’all really know how to run a business. Never purchasing from you again.

Horrible company. I booked a trip to say goodbye to my dying family member. Unfortunately, between when I booked and the flight, she took a horrible turn and I wasn't going to get there in time. I paid for insurance but their insurance only works until 2 days before the trip. They were no help. I was on the phone with them for over a hour just to hear policy is 2 days before, it doesn't matter why. Despicable company.
