I was booking a hotel room in Chicago for my husband and I with our young son via Priceline's Express Deal. I entered on the website that we want one room and then picked the deal. When I reviewed the reservation information the website says: "Kids Stay Free. 1 child under 16 years stays free of charge when using existing beds." However, after I clicked on "Confirm Your Reservation" it showed that we booked the Drake Hotel and it is for up to two adults. I called the hotel to make sure including my son the three of us will be OK to check in. The hotel reservation staff asked me to call Priceline because our reservation was through Priceline. I chatted online with a Priceline representative, and the person was not friendly and not helpful and asked me to call the Drake Hotel again. I went back and forth and nobody could confirm that it is OK for 2 adults and 1 child to stay in our booked room.
Finally, I called Priceline again and was able to talk to an agent who was helpful, but she contacted Drake and then told me that if we want to have all three of us stay there we need to upgrade our room to a family room with additional charges of $88. I was mad because Priceline told me I could bring my child, and now Priceline tells me the room I booked is only for 2 adults even though I have a screenshot right before I confirmed my reservation stating that kids stay free. I asked the Priceline agent to help me cancel the reservation because Priceline misled me and provided wrong information, but she said she couldn't cancel my reservation.
Finally, I asked to speak to a supervisor and the supervisor put me on hold. He told me I can only get two twin beds without any additional charges, and they cannot accommodate my one queen bed request. The Priceline staff were actually trying to be helpful, but Priceline provides misleading information along with the hotel trying to charge us more for what we were supposed to have! The hotel was also not willing to discuss at all with me stating that "we cannot touch anything booked through Priceline and you need to talk to Priceline." I was being pushed back and forth a few times before being informed about the two twin bed solution that is not satisfactory. I wasted 1.5 hours for this whole thing. This is infuriating and unacceptable! Priceline should have been honest and clear their website!

Priceline.com You suck! Absolutely irrevocably 100% certain I will never ever book anything through you again. I would pay double before using you. Booked my hotel for a trip to visit family through you, get to the hotel and your bank account declined the charges when the hotel tried to authorize it. I called you, you put me on hold FOR AN HOUR and called the hotel that I was physically standing at. Then when you couldn't figure it out, your consolation to me was to book me at a different hotel?! Well in Canada booking a hotel a Canadian Hotel, with a Canadian credit card I went on priceline.com to book it. The price said $71. What a great deal. Went through the process of adding my credit card information. All of the information required to book a hotel with the Delta Marriott in Halifax, a great hotel where we stayed before. Excellent service. When the booking went through it showed that we paid $105 all taxes in and different service charges that the hotel charged us before. Still a great deal!
Then we looked at the invoice that came in from priceline.com. The price was in American dollars. Now, on the front page of everything you book with them there is no currency denomination there other than the price. We made an assumption, the Assumption was that it would be in Canadian dollars as we are Canadian using a Canadian credit card in a Canadian province to book a Canadian Hotel. That was not the case. It was US dollars. Don't get me wrong. We do a lot of staying in hotels both in Canada and the US, Europe etcetera but just felt that it was not the cheapest priced that we could get based on what Priceline was advertising. Very disappointed.

I just made a reservation using the Express Deal guaranteeing a 2.5 star hotel. When I did a Google search for the Sleep Inn in Panama City Beach South it clearly states that it is a 2 star hotel. Sleep Inn own websites says it is a 2 star. I called Priceline to complain. I was told that in their system it is a 2.5 star hotel because of customer rating & their own rating company. That does not make it a 2.5 unless you can do a Google search & it says 2.5 for that hotel. Where they get you is you don't get to see the hotel until after purchase which is non refundable because it is Express Deal. I didn't have a problem until I looked up the hotel on Google & everywhere said it was 2 star.

Most of these sites are rip-offs. I went back to AMAC (Firm is like AAR) for the discounts and coupons they offer. This is safer than these firms. Remember if it sounds too good it is not!

This company is horrible! Someone should file a class action lawsuit against them! I booked six airline tickets through Priceline and was on the phone with the representative the entire time and I was deployed with the military so only had internet access but not email access and was told the dates were confirmed and accurate. When I get home to print out my itinerary the dates were not accurate and Priceline stated they could not change nor refund my airline tickets.
I never asked for a refund. All I asked was for them to change the return date because the error was on their part not mine and they said and I quote "well you received the confirmation email. You should have responded within 24 hours if it was not accurate" and their response was very I'm customer service like and very unpatriotic as well considering I told them I didn't have access to my email hence the reasons why I spent 45 minutes on the phone with their agent that help me book the reservation.
They then went on to tell me that they had no record that I even called to book the reservation through them yet they found on record that same day the three phone conversations I had to call to complain yet they have no records of any of my emails or phone calls prior to that date, I have been a Priceline customer for years so I find that very hard to believe that there is no history magically convenient for them of my phone number or email. I take three vacations a year and use Priceline yet convenient to them they have no history of me ever being a customer until the three phone calls that I made today to call to complain. Very convenient of them, I think it's a scam and a marketing ploy, I believe they put the wrong dates so I would have to pay for another ticket because of their no changes and no refund policies.
I told them I was going to contact my phone company to get a printout in a detailed report showing that I spent 45 minutes on the phone with their company, to prove that I did and the lady said, "Well even though we can't find it on our end that won't change anything", so I said, "So you're telling me if I cannot prove that that phone conversation happened that you said doesn't exist then you won't change the ticket in or refund my money?" Their reply was no. Wow.
I strongly believe Priceline does this as a marketing scam to make you purchase another ticket and I am contacting a lawyer, someone needs to look into this and do something about it! While I was on hold that entire time I heard a recording of William Shatner over and over that Priceline will correct any mistakes they've made and or do whatever it takes to make us happy as a client or customer, that is such a false advertisement and such a fake false promise to the consumer because they aren't doing anything to correct the situation with an unhappy client that has been with them for years.

Every year for the past 15 years I book my trip back home (Hawaii) to see my family. I have noticed over the past few years some shady things. I have had my seat assignments changed from what I selected (during the booking), separating my minor child from me on the plane. I have to pay extra to the airline so I can reserve seats next to my minor daughter! This adds up especially when we are traveling so far. Priceline advertises "lowest" prices but that is a lie! I arranged my car rental with my receipt stating I could cancel at any time. I received an email from USAA making me aware of discounts I am eligible for as a veteran. One of those discounts was for a car rental with the same company I booked with through Priceline.
For the exact same car, dates and coverage was over $250 cheaper with my veteran code. I called Priceline and they informed me I could not cancel even though my receipt said I could nor would they honor my discounted price!!! This is how they treat veterans??? I was given the runaround and every excuse in the world why Priceline would not honor the cheaper price or cancel the reservation. To make matters worse... The operator I was speaking was barely understandable due to her foreign accent!!! I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS AGAIN WITH PRICELINE NO MATTER WHAT!!! They should be ashamed of their business practices!

When I had to cancel the additional insurance on a rental the money was immediately returned to my credit card. This increased my trust in Priceline. I have been a Priceline customer for several years and they have never let me down. I recommend this service to anyone who ask about an easy to use booking service.

Am a senior citizen and made a reservation via Priceline for a Hertz rental vehicle. Was unable to drive for a couple weeks prior to trip due to a health issue. Canceled reservation through Priceline and was told my type of reservation was totally nonrefundable. Tried to cancel via credit card to no avail. Priceline provided their cancellation policy which credit card company honored. Honestly feel Priceline is a scam. Things happen in life that are beyond our control. Not worth the couple of dollar savings Priceline offers.
This is how Priceline makes their money. They offer a little savings on car rental, flights and hotels; charge credit card date of reservation knowing a certain percentage of reservations will cancel. The amount charged to our credit cards, totally nonrefundable, is sheer profit for Priceline. Please just be VERY aware if using Priceline that it is a SCAM! Have read numerous reviews stating same concerns with their reservations. Save yourself the grief that other victims of Priceline have endured. Go directly to rental companies, hotels and airlines. NEVER NEVER USE PRICELINE!!!

It is a pretty good site, but some of the hotels/inns haven't been the best. Guess you get what you pay for. Seems like the least expensive hotels aren't always available when you do finally book them, or there are additional charges not mentioned when you book the booking.

I was given a rental car that could not be returned to the airport that I was leaving from (both airports are in LA). After 4 days of waiting nobody called with help. I called and was on the phone for 1 & 1/2 hours with 7 different people. In the end I was offered a 10% discount on a car to take to the other airport. Then, I was charged twice for the same rental car. All the customer service reps are in the Philippines and cannot (will not) transfer you to anyone actually employed by Priceline. I don't think Priceline actually exists: it's merely a crappy computer program. F- fail.

I reserved a family suite (via Priceline) in a Marriott Suites hotel in Lexington KY for 3 days. Pre-paid $570. On my way to the hotel, I decided to call the hotel to verify my reservation. I was told by the reservationist that my room had been given away to a group of Japanese tourists. I was then shifted to another property, in a tiny room. Why was my reservation not honored? I prepaid and made the reservation in advance? Why do Japanese tourists have precedence over me? I will never make another travel reservation through Priceline again.

Counter people for Hertz could not scan my card, would not hand-enter it, and refused my rental. There was well over $200 in the account for security deposit at the time, and the rental fee was already paid for. When I asked for reimbursement, I was ping-ponged back and forth between Priceline and Hertz, with neither group taking ownership. I am not a well-to-do senior, and will not use either company again as I was also denied reimbursement of my rental fee.

Am highly disappointed in my stay here since I checked in as the resort was not represented as not being on the beach as the listing and images showed instead we have to walk over the bridge to get to the beach and any activities going on. I would have never paid to stay somewhere not looking at the beach especially as much money as I paid to stay here. I paid to see the beach not walk to it. Then the carpet is wet in multiple areas had to call maintenance. Now it smells of mildew. The view is of a green and brown pond that is gross to look at as well as the annoying noise from toads or something can't even enjoy sitting outside. The construction is ridiculous well and would've been nice to be notified of before the reservation. Also couldn't enjoy the pools because every day all the chairs were taken by the time it opened and this has just been my worst beach experience.
I paid to enjoy the amenities and can't even do that. Have to pay to use the gym and I didn't see that anywhere just because it was not booked through resort directly. I also had to be woke up at 7 am from the loud stomping in the upstairs unit. For 2 hrs this went on. The couch is sunken in and not comfortable. The curtains are too light and sun. This was way overpriced and not represented the way it should've been. I never would've stayed here with the location or any of it. Don't stay in the villas! I booked through Priceline. Contacted them they said to contact Booking.com that it was booked through them however that works. I contacted the company here at Edgewater. They told me to contact the 3rd party I booked from like who the heck do I need talk to. Ridiculous. And since I booked through 3rd party they can't do anything to assist the situation.

I called Priceline to change a flight due to a family member's medical emergency. Because I would not share the personal detailed information of the family member's emergency, they would not change my flight in any form. I thought I was safe because I had the flight insurance but their insurance company told me in order to make any changes or refund the flight I would have to provide a detailed doctors note stating the condition and prognosis/nature of the medical incident. Because I did not feel comfortable sharing personal medical information about a family member I missed out on the flight/money paid for the ticket and had to spend additional money on another flight home.

Very frustrated with our experience renting a car today! Our final bill was twice what we were quoted with Priceline. After adding toll pass, insurance, deposit that we were not told about our bill was NOT what we were told we would be paying. Not even close to the estimated amount. Priceline prices cannot be trusted, and we will never use them again for this reason. Disappointing...

Would give 0 stars if I could. Nothing like ruining a family vacation 2 days before we leave! Was told we could only rent from “the airport” location if we had a major credit card. Our debit card or cash wasn’t good enough for “the airport” location. We made this reservation on 5/24/18 and were not notified of this until today upon calling to confirm reservation and seeing if we could get car a few hours earlier. The manager Ryan was especially lacking empathy of any degree, didn’t even apologize. Blamed Priceline and of course Priceline blamed Enterprise and they both blamed me! Nothing like telling the customer they are an idiot. Ryan wouldn’t see if another Enterprise location that isn’t an airport had the car for us.
And of course the price has more than doubled since we originally booked the reservation. I will never use this company or Priceline again. Mistakes happen, a company’s ability to apologize to the customer and make it right is what makes a great company that I will recommend to everyone I know. Both of these companies however FAIL. I guess when you get that big you don’t really care about losing a few customers. If you want a reliable, honest company to book your hard earned family vacation with, I suggest you look elsewhere. PS Be prepared when you call to complain or confirm. Neither one of these companies will connect you with anyone in this country and has English as their first language. After a wait time of 35 minutes I was able to speak to Ryan at “the airport” location.

Horrible Experience booking a flight and a hotel. Very deceiving wording on their website purchase. Spent over an hour and a half for two days of trying to find a way to cancel this purchase, but I was told that there was no way to receive a refund on our purchase even though we tried to cancel 30 days in advance. Horrible experience and wasted 1 1/2 hours on the phone. DO NOT BOOK THROUGH THIS COMPANY!! IF THERE WAS A ZERO RATING FOR THIS COMPANY, THEY WOULD HAVE GOT IT!!

I used the express deals to book a “3 Star Casino Hotel”. After confirming the reservations I was sent the details on the “hotel” Priceline selected and made my reservations at, which turned out to be a MOTEL with 3 slot machines in the lobby! I reserved two rooms, one for my spouse and I, the other for my teenage daughters. I would have never booked my daughters a separate room in a MOTEL with outside doors.
When choosing a deal that states it will be a hotel casino, I never would have imagined they would put us in a motel. I called Priceline and spoke with a rep and then the supervisor, they refused to cancel or change my reservations. They stated they do not guarantee that the reservation is a “hotel”, they only guarantee the stars, location and price. I explained that they lied on their part when they called it a hotel when it in fact is not. They did not care, said there is nothing they can do for me. This is misleading to the customer. An absolute misrepresentation of what was being offered!

I’ve just got back from a military deployment and needed a place to stay while I search for a new apartment to rent. I ended up finding one faster than I thought I would. So I called customer service and explained the situation and their response was because of their policies they can’t issue a refund and the representative was unwilling to discuss it further. I’ve used their service a lot and this is how they treat a loyal customer. Needless to say I won’t be using their services anymore because of the unwillingness to even try to come to a compromise. I wasn’t asking for a full refund or trying to get a discounted rate instead just pay for which I used. Not happy.

Note that Priceline is not consistent in reporting all fees you will be charged with a hotel booking, especially for express deals. Some deals will include a separate line for resort fees, paid either through Priceline or separately at hotel. Some won't. Therefore, you'll never know true cost of hotel until your stay. In my case, Priceline refused to acknowledge the hidden fees and said they don't know all fees the hotel will charge for a stay. Really? Isn't that the entire purpose of using Priceline? Of course, I will no longer be using Priceline for any services. Buyer beware.

Priceline rep quoted same price as online then told me that taxes were $135 on a $315 charge. I protested but was assured it was the tax rate. Looked online and found the tax should have been $35. Called Priceline and they told me that the $100 is for charges the hotel (Best Western) charges them. Completely FALSE! The $100 was Priceline ripping me off! Take my advice and make your reservation directly with the hotel. Less expensive and you have the same risk exposure. Priceline needs to be driven out of business for their shady tactics!

We booked a hotel in Palm Springs for 2 nights, 2 adults and 2 children. Once the booking was processed and credit card was charged, it said the room sleeps 2 adults and that the hotel may charge for additional guests. I called their customer service which provided absolutely no customer service. Soft spoken lady speaking from another country kept repeating the same line, that she could not change or cancel the reservation. SHAME ON YOU Priceline. I will not be using your service ever again. I will use Expedia instead, everything always goes smoothly with them.

If it was possible to provide zero stars I would. After booking a hotel through Priceline for a stay in Paris they happily took my $900.00 and sent me an itinerary. When I arrived in Paris, the hotel indicated we would not be allowed to stay - as the booking was for 2 people and we had three in our party. They refused to let us stay and turned us out into the street. Priceline's answer - we can't help you. Your stay is non-refundable. It cost me another $1000.00 to find a hotel to stay at on top of tons of stress - can you imagine being in a foreign country where you don't speak the language at midnight on a street corner with our luggage and nowhere to stay? Priceline is a bunch of crooks - DON'T EVER BUY.

Reserved a car and got an email confirmation that said right at the top that it was 100% able to cancel up until the time of pick-up. I found out I was able to use a friend's car and used the chat function for customer service. They said it was not possible to cancel or modify it. I asked them about the email and they said that was referring to any insurance I may add on to the car later (which was extremely misleading). I asked twice to speak to a manager because I did not need the car and it was 5 days until my trip, so it was more than enough time for that car to be rented to someone else. They refused and said a manager would just tell me the same thing. I've rented cars before and never had a problem if I needed to cancel in advance. Worst customer service ever. So now I am out $450 for a car I don't need that has not been supplied to me yet with no recourse.

I work at a hotel front desk and I have had so many lost reservations with Priceline. What they do is charge the guest for two rooms, send us one, then bill the hotel for the lost hotel room so they end up getting paid for three. I am pleading with any lawyers out there please organize a class action lawsuit. Just twice this week I've had guests check in showing me being charged for 2 rooms and we only get sent one. This scam has gone on long enough. If you know any lawyers who are familiar with class action lawsuits, please PLEASE let them know. Hotels keep records of all reservations and I'm guessing it would be easy to follow the paper trail and substantiate the lawsuit.

Booked with no mention nor can I find a cancellation policy readily available. Hotel is good to cancel but Priceline will not. Customer service is terrible and people use once and never again. I will give them lots of advertising for their noncancellation efforts.

I like using Priceline. They was great but the more I used them the more I started seeing that some of the hotels and resorts have separate fees of their own. You know hidden fees basically you begin charge twin.

Same story as so many others there should be a class action lawsuit against them. I put in the date for a hotel stay and it showed a page of listings available for date clicked on their calendar. Booked the room and paid and when it showed the reservation, it was for that same day. Within one minute I called Priceline and they would not even speak to you, give another company to call that handles reservations. Get someone in Asia with very poor English and communication skills who tells me they will handle it and then sends me an email directly from that person and it says nonrefundable and no changes (Just wanted the right date! Did not want a refund).
I responded to the email letting them know of the glitch and that it had just occurred a few minutes before and asked them to fix the date and they never did anything nor did they respond. Simple human courtesy is not what Priceline is about but just whatever they can get away with to make an easy dollar. Raally despicable, will NEVER use them again. I hope if enough people get burned they will go out of business. GREED comes before a fall...

The description showed that room was an ocean view with lanai, right after I booked, the confirmation showed it is ocean view only. I called Priceline. They said it was not guarantee and its advertising did not say it is not guarantee. The booking was not refundable and I cannot get my refund and they won't do anything about it. Priceline is a Scam and full of false and misleading advertisement.

While I was staying at THE COUNTY INN, I was woken up by a strange man coming towards me across the bed, in the dark, just before midnight. I screamed loudly about 5 times, he bolted, I screamed loudly out the front door. I called the front desk and no one picked up. I called 911, the police came, made a report (**), and kept me around about 30 minutes for questioning, collected the bedspread for DNA, footprints, etc. My iPhone was stolen.
Both the police and I requested to have my room charge removed and I drove home, 1 1/2 hours north, around midnight. Both the front desk guy and manager heard my story when I turned in my keys and I was told I had to call PRICELINE to get charges reversed. There was never any explanation as to why they didn't pick up or come when I screamed (others came out of their rooms, I was hoarse from screaming, and they were 25 yards away).
When I got home I chatted with PRICELINE about 2:30 am. When PRICELINE called COUNTY INN they said they didn't know anything about me and that we had to call back tomorrow when the manager was in (again, I have no phone). When I called on Monday and Wed. we were again told that the manager was not in. On Monday PRICELINE told me the issue would be escalated, but still 5 days later nothing from PRICELINE except that I've gotten 4 ads and a survey asking if I liked my trip. All their phone numbers lead to recordings.
In Priceline chat I was told they understand I'm "frustrated". On Monday they're sorry for the "inconvenience"; in reality I feel like I escaped being raped or killed. It was very traumatizing. I'm out 1000.00 phone, erase the phone, get a new phone. I had trouble sleeping for 2 nights, I missed my event, I have start mediations to reverse the charges with CHASE, I called Legal Aid of Marin, who referred me to the District Attorney Consumer Protection Services, who referred me to Lawyer referral services who told me I could take it to small claims court or look for a lawyer to help me on a civil lawsuit, for someone who does civil torts.
PRICELINE did not show the motel name when they advertised the room. It's a new strategy for them to reveal the name AFTER you book. Yes, it was cheap but it was conveniently located for my Fri./Sat. events. After this happened, I read the reviews and see it has a 2 star rating with bad reviews. I suspect PRICELINE is being used to launder motels with bad reviews. This is dangerous for the consumer. The reasons I'm mad are 1/getting no action or response from either THE COUNTY INN or PRICELINE; doing a lot of work and being ignored, 2/I think it's dangerous to the consumer to work with a group that hides information about their product and then acts a buffer to remove recourse and consequences for wrongful activity.

I booked a hotel through this site in order to attend my Sister's wedding. Unfortunately a family emergency came up that forced me to cancel my plans to attend the wedding and thus to stay in the hotel room that I booked. Neither Priceline nor the hotel was willing to cancel my reservation or refund the money that I already paid for this room. This policy is TERRIBLE! I am on a very fixed income and this kind of expense was a difficulty to afford to begin with but then to be shut out and not able to retrieve my money... this is crazy!

I was given a choice between a king room and a standard queen room. My assumption was that like every other hotel reservation I've ever made in my life this would be one king bed or two queen beds. Upon clicking the reservation button and receiving confirmation, I realized that the choice was actually one king or one queen bed. This will not accommodate my family. I called immediately and have spoken with 4 different customer service reps. All of them telling me they are unable to help, that it's their policy not to allow me to cancel this reservation and book a different room and that there's nothing they can do.
Ironically, they always end by asking me if there's anything else they can do for me and suggest that they somehow offered me a solution. So now I'm out the $250 and have to book a different hotel. I've been a Priceline customer for many years and used them a lot when I was traveling for work, but I will never use them again. They have outsourced all of their customer service and I can not get anyone in the US or anyone with any actual decision making authority on the phone. Shame on them for allowing this. As a small business owner I am particularly offended because I would be out of business if I treated my customers this way.

I recently booked a hotel through Priceline and later found that I was unable to make the trip. I called as soon as I was aware and tried to cancel my reservation. They had 9 days advanced notice and they refused to refund my money. They were not nice. They essentially took my money and could care less. I will never use Priceline again. I travel a lot but I would not recommend this company and the last time I used them the hotel was supposed to be a 3-star or better hotel and I was afraid to even touch anything in the room, it was so filthy. There was blood on the bathroom door. I found another hotel. Don’t book with them.

Recently my wife and I were planning a trip to Springfield Missouri, so I decided to check out "Priceline" for deals as you see them advertising on tv all the time. Well, I put in my destination ect and the list of prices came up, and right a the top was their "express deal" for about 100+ cheaper than everyone else. I added our tickets and rental car to my cart, and tried MULTIPLE times to book that deal, but every single time it came back with "Ooops! We're sorry this deal is no longer available". Frustrated I thought it was something wrong with my computer, so I tried to do the same thing several times on both my wife's and son's computer also. Each time the SAME deal came up. Thinking maybe it was something to do with the internet I decided to wait a day or two to book our tickets as there was really no hurry.
Over the course of 5 consecutive days, every time I went to Priceline and searched our trip, it came back with the exact same deal, and every time I tried booking it it gave the same "Ooops. We're sorry" message. So just out of curiosity, I tried to book OTHER flights to OTHER destinations. Each and every time it came up with the SAME EXACT DEAL, SAME PRICE, SAME EVERYTHING EXCEPT THE DESTINATION AND STARTING POINT CHANGED... HUH? Finally a little ticked off, I called them. It took me an hour to get thru because every time I tried it told me "Oh we're sorry. The deal you were trying to book is filled". I finally had to search google for a corporate phone number.
I did eventually get ahold of a guy who didn't hardly speak any English and after some poking and prodding he finally told me the whole "express deal" crap is just that, CRAP. He said it's an advertising gimmick, and there wasn't really any "express deal" available. I then decided to do my own checking and Priceline's prices are literally the same as everyone else's. DONT BELIEVE ANYTHING YOU HEAR OR READ FROM PRICELINE.

Do not book through Priceline... Fake promises is what it is. I wish I could give them a negative star because after our last hotel stay booked through them, they have not only lost our faith in them but have lost us as their customers and also our family/friends. I would recommend you to rather use Expedia, Kayak or any other website but not them. We booked a hotel in Michigan through them. It was a stay from hell there. Spiders in the bathroom, rotted doors, mold in the bathroom, slept on the couch for both nights. I do have to say the hotel manager called me right away apologizing and ensured that they will take actions to make sure steps are taken to correct this as they believe in making sure their customers have comfortable stays.
I asked them for a refund for the 2 nights we spent there and they said that since it was made through Priceline, Priceline will have to call them to get an approval (Which they would be happy to do so) and then I can get my refund from them. After contacting Priceline every other day to get a resolution, they kept telling me that they are not able to get hold of a manager at the hotel that we stayed at (which is unheard of as there is a always a manager on duty at all the hotels). Then after almost following up with them for a month, I ended up doing their job and called the hotel again to ask for who the manager would be that would approve this refund.
I spoke to him and went over the situation with him. He said he would be more than happy to approve this refund as soon as Priceline calls them. After sharing this info with Priceline, they said that they will not process my refund anymore as they could not reach the hotel manager which was complete BS. Long story short, they basically changed their side of the promise after all the hassle that I went through. They chose to rather lose customers than provide a service that will bring the customers back to them.

Our family was looking for a room for a weekend getaway to South Alabama. We used Priceline to review and select a room. We utilized the Express Deal that gives you little options at selection. We booked the deal and Americas Best Value Inn and Suite was the resulting location. When we checked in, we found a smoke saturated room that was so bad no one could have stayed there. Our family is non-smoking and we had small children with us, (a 2 month old). The hotel offered no other alternative and refused a refund since we booked with Priceline. We contacted Priceline and got the spill about reading the fine print and there was no guarantee for smoking or non-smoking. Our family had to pay for rooms we could not use as well as replacement rooms at another location we found. Both Priceline and Americas Best Value made money on the deal and we lost big time. Priceline is not a good deal and a rip-off.

It's the worse website to book for hotel using the secret deal or express deal. I book a twice a hotel at different areas in two weeks as express deal and my booking suppose to be for 3 persons, and after I paid the reservation email shows the hotel and reservation for two people only. I called Priceline and they said, “We can't do anything and you can ask the hotel for another bed and could be with extra charge.” I was lucky the hotel staff was very kindly people and help me, and that will be last time to use Priceline site.

I've always used Priceline to book my rooms until now. I booked a room for 07/20/18 an upcoming family trip. I selected 2 rooms but website kept kicking me out. I booked one room for a certain area. Went back to book the same area and saw *hint: you've booked here before* under the impression that it was the room I had just booked.
Spoke with customer service. They were very rude and told me that it didn't matter what I saw before booking that the last page is the only thing that matter. I even told the ladies (1st Lin 2nd Iyah) if there was a price difference I was willing to pay the difference but got a "Sorry can't help you." If they look into my account they will see I've booked through Priceline religiously and have never had an issue. The one time I do have an issue I can't get any assistance. I feel Like they should be willing to assist me because of "misleading" info on their website but all I get is "You should've checked the last page of your purchase." Now I am going to report the charge as fraud because that's fraud for both rooms and contact corporate (knowing I will receive the same response). I will no longer be using Priceline because of this experience.

My boyfriend was attempting to book a flight to Hawaii. The Priceline website crapped out so he had to re-enter his information again to retrieve a confirmation. Priceline charged us for two bookings so we called to dispute. Not only did we wait a WHOLE HOUR listening to their dumb automated content on loop, the customer service rep had to call Hawaiian airline separately to get ahold of the situation.
After another 30 min of waiting, they told us there was nothing they could do. UM HELLO YOUR WEBSITE CRAPPED OUT. JUST MAKE IT RIGHT. We requested to speak to her supervisor and she put us on hold for another 20 min. We finally get ahold of the supe and needed to explain the story all over again. Unbelievable! She looked into it and came back with the same story... What gives. This is the worst platform to book with incompetent service. If the flight wasn’t $450, I’d cut my losses... At this rate, it’s not even worth our time to hold to retrieve the money back.

Beware of false advertising and misleading information from Priceline.com. I rented a car with “unlimited mileage” but when I went to pick up car Advantage rental company told me mileage was limited to 159 miles per day. Priceline refused to refund the money because they have a statement that says rental company may have additional restrictions - if that is the case, then don’t mislead the consumers into thinking they are renting a car with unlimited mileage. It’s a bait and switch type of practice that takes advantage of the consumers. It’s wrong! Don’t trust anything Priceline advertises and before you use them, read all the fine print and if it’s a vague clause (Carte Blanche) be prepared to be taken advantage of.

So, I have been using Priceline to book a roundtrip flight to and from my home and school once a week for 6 months now. So needless to say I am an avid customer. I booked a flight for $408 today and less than an hour later got an update about pricing for my flight from Priceline saying that the cost had gone down to $333. I immediately call customer service to see about either canceling and re-booking or receiving credit on my account seeing as how they advertise BEST PRICE GUARANTEE. So, the first representative I call I am midway through my call and mysteriously the call is disconnected. So I casually call back and am on the phone with a representative for approximately 20 minutes. The end result of my call is, that in "his computer system" it is not showing any available reservations for this price, therefore he cannot issue a credit to my account.
I explain that I am looking right at the computer that shows multiple flight options at that price. He insists that even though they may be available online, in fact they are actually unavailable and are not valid reservations. So then, why would they offer flights at this price if these flights never existed to begin with? Now, let's make this even more interesting. I ask to speak to the manager and he says he will transfer me...AFTER he explains at least 3 times that the manager will say the exact same thing. So once again I am placed on hold and would you care to take a guess at what happens next?... Conveniently the phone line is disconnected again. At this point I proceed to eat lunch before attempting to contact customer service again.
It is now 2 hours after my last phone call with Priceline and out of curiosity I log back into Priceline and recheck flights and flight pricing...guess what?! THERE ARE NOW EVEN MORE FLIGHTS AND TIME OPTIONS AVAILABLE WITH THAT PRICE?! I think it is absolutely absurd to advertise best price guarantee and then NOT honor it. That is false advertising and needs to be reported to the highest authority...since to knowingly to false advertise a product I am almost certain is against the law of the United States of America.
To boot, I think treating any customer with this level of disrespect is offensive at best, not to mention frequent customers that travel on average one or more times weekly for months to years. I am deeply offended at the lack of customer care that Priceline provided not to mention lying straight to mine and everyone else's faces under the false facade of their "best price guarantee" slogan. I HIGHLY recommend that NO ONE books with them and seriously reconsider switching travel agency providers.

Recently purchased airfare from Eugene, Oregon to San Antonio, Texas and return (along with a rental car) through Priceline's website. Since we wanted to have carry-on luggage and choose our seats, we upgraded from "basic economy" to "economy (recommended)" on Priceline's website. Upgrade showed the ability to choose seats but the website wouldn't let us do it at the time of purchase. This is where I believe Priceline's website is somewhat misleading - and as I have since learned, it turns out choice of seats only happens when you check in for the flights. When we couldn't accomplish the seat choices at the time of booking we waited a few weeks and then contacted the two airlines we were booked on. This is where we learned our seats were not guaranteed or designated with either airline but for an additional cost we could make this happen today.
The first airline cost us an additional $88 to choose our seats and the second airline $218 (this because they had no unassigned economy seats and we had to purchase Economy Plus seats). Contacted Priceline's Customer Service by telephone to try and resolve the issue of the additional $50 per passenger for choice of seats. The answer we got on more than one occasion was you get to pick your seats at check-in (and to us that is not choice of seats that's assignment of seats). Even the airlines we spoke with admitted people traveling together are often separated at check-in depending on seating availability at the time. I even sent an email to Priceline to try and get a response.
Their response "you need to call one of our Air Travel Service agents". Of course, I did this twice more with no resolution whatsoever. So here we are... Minus $100 for Priceline's Choice of Seats (and no offer to refund) and minus an additional $300 for reserving our seats through the airlines two weeks before our flight. I will not be using Priceline's services again, and you can take to the bank that I will discourage anyone I know from doing so as well.

Accidently booked in wrong state. Pulled up Mississippi hotel. They booked in Michigan. Called 3 minutes later when noticed. They said hotel refused refund, called hotel, said they can not say yes or no to a refund because it is paid directly to Priceline. Called Priceline 5 times and hotel 4 times. Got nowhere. Will never use them again. DO NOT USE PRICELINE!!! Have to file dispute with credit card company. They are making bank on their refund policy. Because there is not one.

I tried to purchase airline tickets through Priceline on an advertised Express Deal. When I tried to confirm the purchase the price jumped from $208 to $304 for the ticket. When I tried to contact the customer service department all they would say is that they don’t guarantee prices and could not honor the price. This is just a typical bait and switch tactic which is apparently what they like to use to induce purchases at a higher price!

We booked car rental from Fox via Priceline. First this place is far from airport and you have to wait for shuttle for long time. We had a SUV booked and upon arrival we got a SUV where Baby’s car seat was not buckling up and other 2 SUVs were same also, so we had to get another car. They didn’t mention any extra charge for upgrading. Later they not only charge extra $160 but also they simply lied and charged $1:30 more per gallon oil. As we book through Priceline, they should have helped us but they didn’t. They told us to email here and there for a week then told they couldn’t help. Not going to book any through Priceline again too.

I have booked airline ticket with Priceline thinking if I find a cheaper price they will refund. But do not believe their claim. I have spent nearly 2 hours with 2 different customer support agents. I am able to see different website and lower price but Priceline claimed in one instance they could not see my departing airport on the website I provided and in another instance the price is way more higher than what I am looking at on my screen. They claim they have live feed etc. but it is incorrect. I am able to book flights at cheaper price than theirs with same conditions and they are unable to see the same prices. You cannot contact them via email where you can show them the screenshots. Don't get fooled with this company and don't use them. They are a scam.

Booked an international trip via Priceline, they changed the schedule of my connection flight which would ruin some of my plan. I called their customer service hoping to get my flight rescheduled. Then they canceled my flight altogether and charged me 10 dollar for cancellation. I had to book another flight for a higher rate at the time. Terrible customer service. I purchased round trip tickets. My father's health failed, so I contacted Priceline to get my departure ticked at a sooner date. They charged me for a full fare and a service fee. One hour later they left a message that the price had increased another 100.00 and if I did nothing the ticket would stay as originally booked. I booked a sooner flight with another carrier and when I went to use the return ticket it was canceled. I spent almost 2 hours with one the phone initially to change my departure ticket only and leave the return ticket. The operator was rude, unhelpful and in the end hung up on me. This is not a company I will ever do business with again. To say the least they have no moral code.

Frist of all it states price Guaranteed if not they will refund you 100% money back... It's not true even when I read the prints.... When I called back to confirm it they just was being rude and refuse to refund me my money... So please. My advice to anyone. It's better to book on Hotel.com or just pay a little more directly to the hotel. Always double check the hotel yourself for the prices. They might have cheaper and better policy.

I booked an express hotel deal advertising a 44% discount. When I reserved it, I see that it's actually a 14% discount for prices listed on THEIR OWN SITE. I reach out to their customer service and of course they claim that they calculated it based on "a different rate" and that I had, in fact, saved 50% and they're sorry I "assumed" that the rate they used to calculate the discount was the rate they listed on their own site... This company is such a fraud.

Do not rely on "Name Your Own Price" or their "Express Deals" if you care about quality. Several years ago they appeared to rate their hotels fairly well (1*,2*,2 1/2*, etc). The last 2 times I used Priceline.com, I got a much lower quality hotel. Priceline just gave me an "Express Deal" for a Holiday Inn Express or Best Western like hotel. I bought it and they have me an Extended Stay America 1 double size bedroom. This happened to me last month when I used their "Name Your Own Price". There is no way this Extended Stay is the same rating as Holiday Inn or Best Western. Their idea of a free breakfast is a few packages of instant oatmeal you can take back to your room! Customer service was no help. They said you bought it, all sales are final, and you are getting a breakfast! I'm done using them. Ok.

I booked a car through Priceline from Dollar, purchasing their insurance offered on through their website. Call Dollar/Hertz Airport Frankfurt to confirm, everything ok so far. Getting there after overnight flight. And the friendly Hertz employees has a page with fine print underlined of their contract conditions, you have to purchase their insurance policy. So, you can't get another rental car on short notice for a reasonable price, so you are hostage. My price I booked was 435 Euro, I ended up paying over 1000. They were not interested in the contract I have through Priceline. It's a fraud. I called the German Priceline number and didn't get connected. If anyone wants to verify Priceline number **. I will never book through Priceline again. I have done it before through other sites without problems, also with Hertz. My advice avoid Priceline Car rentals. It's not worth the hassle and the money.

I feel very upset with the customer service received from Priceline; I choose the express deal for a recommendation from some friends...But I feel was a SCAM. I called 2 minutes after received the Hotel name requesting a relocation to a hotel front of the beach or the refund of the money but any Representative was not kindness to help me with inquiry. I will never recommended to any other person to used Priceline because we did not received the deal according with the description and the support to the customer is ZERO, and the focus to customer satisfaction of Priceline is TERRIBLE... I cannot believe that Priceline.com is allowing a sleazy, dump hotel/motel like the Rodeway Inn in Vallejo on their website. I thought priceline.com was better than that. I always used to associate Priceline with quality. Boy has Priceline gone downhill! The Rodeway inn needs to be condemned! There was false advertising I was unaware of what I was walking into when I arrived. Talk about ** city! There were vagrants, drug addicts and weirdos lurking about the parking lot all hours of the night and in the day as well. The room was filthy, I was afraid to sleep on the bed for fear of getting bedbugs or fleas!
The room had not been cleaned. There was smudges black fingerprints all over the light fixtures and doors. There was some sort of human secretions splattered on the wall. There was used soap left in the drain. The microwave was filthy. The curtains had holes in them. The place is a dump and the television channels were fuzzy. Take this place off of your website because you are only representing scum! What a waste of money! I will never book a hotel with Priceline.com again!

There was a baseball tournament that was to be in Douglas, GA. The venue was changed to Cordele, GA. I made a reservation 6 days in advance for a hotel room in Douglas. I tried to get a refund, credit or a least a coupon to McDonald's 2 days before the venue started but they would not budge. They say this crap about how it was an express, reservation at a special price. Econo Lodge!!! A $50 dollar room. How much of a difference did Priceline pay for a $50 dollar room at Econo Lodge in Douglas. Will never use them again. With all the other websites for discounted prices for consumers will use one that appreciates its customers.

I rent a car with Priceline and they send me a confirmation with: BUDGET RENT A CAR - The company called me at the last minute and told me they no longer have the car available to me because: 1) Price is too low. 2) They said... The vans is out to be fixed. "But it is a BS." This is the second time this has happened to me while using Priceline services... I accidentally made a reservation for the 12th of March instead of the 13th. When I went up to the hotel to check in they said they didn't have a reservation for the 13th so I had my boyfriend just pay for the room at the actual hotel. I did a claim with my bank considering I hadn't used the room or anything and it was confirmed I had not used it. This was all back in March. Today I get a notification that my bank reversed the claim amount so I sit on the phone with Priceline loans. All they say is they can't do anything to call my bank. Did that and they said they couldn't do anything to call PL. Call PL again. They tell me to call the hotel and yet again they can't give me a refund. I ** hate PL. Never doing business with them again. Bunch of scam artists. That's why they have a 1 star rating. Should be negative.

I understand the term 'nonrefundable'. What I don't understand is why Priceline uses this tactic when certain situations occur that may be beyond the control of the person planning on renting the car. We were to fly out west for a backpacking trip (early July 2018) and had made all flight and car rental reservations. Recently, the National Forest Service has restricted access to pretty much all public lands located in the northern parts of NM and southern CO. No sense in flying out there now so we cancelled flights (we did not use Priceline for airline ticket purchases) and had to pay a cancellation fee-fine, I understand that.
It's when we cancelled the "name your price" car rental, which required us to pre-pay the full rental amount at time of the reservation, that things got murky. Alamo, the company that would actually be providing the rental car had no problem whatsoever with refunding us the full amount, except they don't get any of the money we paid Priceline until AFTER we pick up the car, so Priceline is sitting there with our car full rental monies on a car we will not be picking up.
We called Priceline explaining the situation. I would have been happy to pay some amount as a cancellation fee, however Priceline was not receptive to this and will be keeping our total rental amount for goods and services never to be used by me. Again, I understand the term 'nonrefundable' and that is Priceline's prerogative to employ such business tactics. I also understand that I have the option, which I will use, to never again use Priceline in any capacity for my future travel needs. I also strongly suggest to anyone wishing to use an Priceline's 'name your price' gimmick for travel purchases/rentals to realize this nonrefundable aspect of the contract and Priceline's position in the matter in the event stuff happens and you need to cancel.

After booking my hotel online, I arrived at the hotel to check in about an hour after booking. I have a 5 lb elderly Chihuahua and even after charging me a $100 deposit just to check in, they wanted to hold an additional $200 for my dog and wouldn't let me continue to check in. I contacted Priceline because their website did not specify that the hotel was not pet friendly prior to booking... After contacting Priceline about refunding my money since I was not even able to stay in a room that I not only paid for, but also paid a deposit for in addition to, Priceline told me there was nothing they could do. No refunds. No hotel stay. Priceline pocketed it all... Horrific customer service, crooks!

On June 25th 2018 I booked a hotel, as I do many many times throughout the year with Priceline.com. I am aware that from the moment I see the price on the list, to the moment I select the room the price is subject to change. However once I am about to pay, and confirm the price when I pay, it should remain at the agreed upon price. Once I received the confirmation email I noticed the price had changed significantly from the last confirmed price I had seen. When I called to dispute this, they took an exceedingly long amount of time to figure out what was going on. As I tried to explain my situation to a customer service representative, whose English was poor at best, I was told that they had the right to alter the price at any time AFTER I confirmed the booking of the room.
This is absolutely deceptive and a shady way to do business. I was outraged that they just flat out told me that they can change the price at any point and that there was nothing I could do about it. I understand the price changing BEFORE I pay, and being made aware of this. I do not however think it is acceptable to change the price AFTER I have submitted the payment. I informed them that this is no way to treat a customer that has used their service for years. They just thanked me for my business and that I am free not to use their service anymore. Clearly the little guy does not matter to this company. After this long and useless customer service call I noticed that they have a better price guarantee. So I called again. I spoke with two agents that also were difficult to understand.
I told them that I had found the same room for less money (I have the screenshots to prove this) and that I wanted the refund as advertised on their site. Long story short, they took an extraordinarily long time to search for these lower prices and then tell me that they cannot find them. I looked again and within seconds found the lower prices. I asked for an email to send them the screenshots and I was told is that it wasn't an option to do so. WHY HAVE A GUARANTEE IF YOU'RE JUST GOING TO LIE? I can find the lower prices, and they just tell me that there is nothing that they can do because they can't see it. I'm finding these price on THEIR website. This was absolutely ridiculous. I feel that I was taken advantage of, as I'm sure other people are, and they simply don't care. Not an honest business at all.

Worst customer service experience I have ever received and will never use them again for anything. If you have any sort of a problem in your travels they will not help you out in any way. Never ever even expect a refund even if the mistake was on Priceline in the first place. Long phone holds as you’re passed up a ladder of continuous no refund policies even 10 minutes after booking. Hilton Daytona Beach Oceanfront Resort - I booked a 2 night stay at this hotel through Priceline. Unfortunately I had a family emergency, had to leave and only stayed one night. When I requested a refund for the 2nd night I was denied even though my cancellation policy indicates otherwise. The room smelled of mildew, the floors was dirty and the bathtub hardware was coming out of the wall. I highly recommend using another site and DO NOT plan a stay at this hotel.

I booked a Days Inn hotel room on Priceline and this was probably the worst experience booking a room. I searched a bedroom for 5 guests and read the information I needed to know and booked it. At first I was happy with the price and the two queen beds with an extra bed was sufficient. What I wasn't informed of, was that this room, by Priceline, was set for only two people! Two queen beds for only two people, even though, I booked for 5!
I had to pay $120 extra for the remaining guests to the hotel, over what I had already PAID. I called the hotel but they simply denied having anything to do with it and stated that Priceline set their own prices and a refund request would cost a cancellation fee of $130! I complained to Priceline, but they refused to even acknowledge the problem. A real pain to work with these people. DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM. THEY WILL ONLY BOOK FOR TWO PEOPLE NO MATTER HOW MUCH YOU SEARCH FOR!

I booked a room online for a Holiday Inn, in Long Beach, MS. When I booked, I wasn’t aware it was a third party. I called to cancel and they said I would have to call Priceline because it was an outside party. I called and the people were very rude and point blank told me I would not receive a refund because I had clicked and accepted their agreement. I didn’t read the fine print and that is a lesson learned on my part but from all the reviews of Priceline that I have read, they are nothing but scam artists. Some kind of action needs to be done to shut these frauds down. I will not make that same mistake again. STAY AWAY FROM PRICELINE!

I booked a car rental through Priceline and went to cancel it the very next day. They informed me it was nonrefundable. the rental was 1300.00 and I was told I would still have to pay that amount even though I wasn't going to use it. I tried to contact them through chat and on the phone. The first person I spoke to was in India and I could barely understand him, the next person was in the Philippines. Neither person was willing to help me. I couldn't get anywhere with either of them and was frustrated by the lack of trying to find someone in the United States to help me with my United States reservation. Also, their lack of willingness to help by those who work for Priceline. I would never use Priceline again. Never ever again.

Was stuck in Newark and needed a last minute hotel. Booked Clinton Manor through Priceline. It said they had airport shuttle and looked good according to the pictures. After booking called for shuttle, no shuttle, paid $45 For a taxi to the hotel. Upon arriving and entering our room, it was disgusting. It was already so late and paid we stayed against our better judgement. As we had to leave back to the airport in a few hours. Didn't even use the shower. I'm not sure the sheets were even washed, found money in the bed. Will never book on Priceline again. Too hard to get your money back.

I booked a hotel in Kauai, Hawaii through my Perks site at work not knowing that Priceline was the underlying site fulfilling the reservation. There were several offer blocks to choose different options. Some offers specifically stated “excludes resort fees”, others did not. I chose an option that did not state that the resort fees were excluded because I wanted to pay everything up front. I received a confirmation e-mail for my reservation that listed the room cost ($903.42) and taxes and fees (490.56). The taxes and fees line had no detail itemizing the $490.56 amount. When we arrived at the hotel, we were informed that we were to pay the daily resort fee to them upon check in. I showed them my confirmation receipt and because there was no detail they told us we had to pay it and go back to Priceline. The hotel stated they would refund the resort fees we had to pay them directly if I could show them they were paid upfront.
When we returned home I contacted the Perk site representative to assist me in getting the detail itemizing the $490.56. The representative contacted Priceline, and over the course of a week back and forth Priceline REFUSED to provide the details of the taxes and fees. They also REFUSED to take any responsibility for the offer listing I chose, the one that did not state the "resort fees were excluded". Why will Priceline not provide the details of the $490.56 amount? What does Priceline have to hide? Taxes and fees more than half the room cost? So basically we have no recourse and the hotel will not refund the resort fees they made us pay (an additional $125). This is false advertisement on their offer page and very deceptive on the part of Priceline.

Searching various hotels for 1 night stay, I see an express deal for a reduce rate. The deal gave example hotels, Extended Stay, Best Western, Holiday Inn Express; so I thought why not. I entered my information to reserve room and Econo Lodge was selected for me. Econo Lodge was not one of the examples listed as a hotel. Highly pissed; I chat with the customer service rep. requesting a refund and cancellation. Rep informed me that reservation was non-refundable, non-transferable and non changeable. Urging everyone to not use Priceline. False advertising!!!

Priceline has the worst customer service I've ever experienced with any business. I booked a flight and accidentally typed the last name wrong for one of the passengers. I've called Priceline 7 times, been on hold for several hours and have not been able to resolve the issue. Each time I call them, the person on the phone has no idea what I'm talking about even though the person I spoke to before said they were making notes on my account. I get different information as to what I need to do to resolve the issue.
I've had to email the passenger passport info to Priceline and the airline. Even though the airline approved the name change, Priceline has not assisted me with correcting the name on the reservation. How is this a complicated request? It's like they are refusing to help me on purpose and make it difficult to make any changes to my reservation. This should be illegal! They are quick to take my money for the ticket, but they refuse to assist me! I hate this company! This was my first time using Priceline and it will be my last. This company should be shut down.

When booking with Priceline a deal popped up stating "express book". It offered a deal to book fast and get this price. It was a better price than most I had seen so I booked it but of course in the fine print there was "tickets are non-refundable and non-changeable". Non-refundable I get but non-changeable? You still get your money. I called to request an earlier time slot for my flight to which they could not accommodate me. Honestly I found Michael my customer service rep to be very rude. He even laughed at me when I said I was confused why I couldn't at least change my flight. I didn't want a refund. He said "You CAN book another flight you just won't get your money back for this one" and laughed. I didn't find it funny and your sarcasm was not appreciated. I have never booked a flight where they wouldn't accommodate a flight change. I will never book with Priceline again because of this experience and I certainly don't recommend anyone else to.

I was looking for a hotel room in Hughenden, Australia on Feb. 28th 2018. Google send me to the Priceline website where I started a search. Along with several other offers for Hughenden hotels Priceline gave an offer for Hughenden Boutique Hotel, March, 03 2018. I booked the hotel and received the confirmation right away. But it located the hotel at 14 Queen Street, Woollahra, Paddington, Sydney New South Wales, 2025, Australia, which is far away from Hughenden.
So I canceled the hotel right away and contacted Priceline customer care to indicate there is an error in their search engine and due to that I wanted to cancel free of charge. I never received an answer and they charged me the full amount. I assume there might be some bad intention behind their "search mistakes" because they make easy money with that. So if you book through Priceline (which I certainly do not recommend) make sure the hotel is where you want it to be! They do not care about that and they charge you the whole amount!

Booked a rental car from Cumberland, MD to Baltimore Airport. Once arriving in Baltimore I see my rental car return address is 20 minutes from airport. Tried chatting online with Priceline and they directed me to Enterprise. Told them I paid $84 dollars for the one way drop off and the convenience. They said all the information was disclosed and then canceled the chat. NEVER AGAIN USING PRICELINE. If you can’t trust a company while you’re traveling then they shouldn’t be in business. I bid a price for a hotel in a certain area. They gave me a hotel that was advertised for a cheaper rate than my bid. This hotel does not have internet in the room and the parking is horrible. Their so-called customer service kept repeating that there was nothing they could do. Why would I bid a higher price for a hotel I could have gotten cheaper?! Booked package with Priceline (flight hotel car). Paid all in advance. When picking up the rental car I was informed that Priceline has not paid them and I have to pay again. Tried to call priceline with the result that I spoke for hours with people from the Philippines and Mexico - no result. A request to speak to an agent in the US was denied. Their so called excecutive customer service only confirms that they received the email but you cannot reach them neither will they address the issue. This is borderline criminal and I will go through the attorney general of my state. BBB has also received a complaint.

I’m Priceline customer service long time ago and I believe they always lowest price as they're advertising ”Best price guarantee. 100% refund if find lower price”. I booked hotel last week on Priceline $310 and after 2 hours my friend booked other website $287, I contacted them and provided all information and my friend receipt but their customer services were very rude. I told them “I don’t need you give me 100% refund as advertised, please cancel booking for me, I’ll book other website”. They don’t let me cancel and charge me full amount. I booked a hotel room through Priceline and for some reason my confirmation went to spam. I paid in advance $700+ for the room and made sure I could cancel the room up to 48 hours before our trip. The next day, I found a room for less and decided to cancel my room on Priceline. However, though my account was charged for the room, I could not find confirmation.
I contacted Priceline chat and was told they had no reservation and to contact their parent site Booking.com. Booking.com told me because I did not have a 4 digit pin code, I have no proof of reservation, even though I had it already charged to my credit card. I was then told that I had to go back to Priceline and have them find it. I went back and forth several times. I was yelled at on the phone by Booking, disconnected on the chat by Priceline and then told by Booking that if I can't prove the reservation with a pin code it was my problem. My credit card company was not surprised and removed the charge from my account.

Priceline quotes you a price but does not guarantee the price or guarantee its vendor will honor the price. In my recent experience the vendor claimed that the Priceline provided quote was not something they agreed to and would not honor it. Being thousands of miles away and in a foreign country, I called upon Priceline for help and all I could get from them was they would look into it. 5 months later and they are still looking into it. Priceline quotes are worthless and their customer support is the same. Avoid Priceline!

These people are scamming people right and left. I will be contacting VISA as soon as I can to dispute the charges but not really sure it can be resolved. I had a flight reservation for international travel bought through Priceline. Due to unforeseen circumstances with my visa, I had to rush to the consulate and get my visa done. I was not going to make it for my first segment of my reservation. So I called the customer service at Priceline to see if my first segment of my reservation could be changed to another flight. So, I called Priceline, my call got transferred to Priceline Travel services. I was on hold for almost 30 minutes; I had to disconnect. I called again, this time I got transferred to a live agent.
I told him that I have an emergency with my dad's health situation and I need help with changing my reservation. The agent put me on hold for a while and then got back to tell me that "He does not have any resolution; he does not have a quote for the changes requested and I should call the airlines. When I call the airlines, they tell me that they cannot do anything about it because of multiple carriers and that I need to contact Priceline. Since I had an emergency situation. and also due to lack of solution and guidance from Priceline, I had to go ahead and book a complete new reservation with Priceline and pay for new ticket.
Priceline customer service/Travel services could have helped me find a resolution; however it seems post-sales customer service is non-existent. Especially during an emergency situation, you expect customer service of a company to step up and help the customer. In this case, it did not happen. The response that the Travel services agent gave to me "Sorry, I do not have any quote for you." was appalling. I expect compensation or a travel voucher that I could possibly use for a future travel. I have been travelling regularly through Priceline. I was trying to book a car through AVIS, but their site was down. Somehow, I got into Priceline, found the Avis car I wanted at SFO, and reserved it for a date 9 days in the future. Since I had used Avis hundreds of times in years of business and personal travel, I felt comfortable in booking and efficiently completed the transaction. Within 24 hours, my trip was rescheduled, so I called Priceline to cancel. They told me fine, canceled the reservation and then I asked when I would see the credit on my account. They said I would not. Didn't you read the terms? It is non-refundable. I said, 'well, let me buy the insurance I saw advertised in case my trip is canceled." I think it was $11 or something, far better than the $131.00 I was going to just be giving to Priceline so they could rent the car again. No deal. They had already cancelled the car.
I contacted CHASE SAPPHIRE to file a dispute. I had not received the services I had paid for. Priceline is contesting this. I am on a fixed income, and $131.00 means a lot to me. What a business model. It is like a timeshare. Sell it. Charge for it. Get it back unused, free to the Corporation. Don't buy it back. Sell it again. Wow. No wonder the stock price, BKNG is $2,143.00/share! That's right. TWO THOUSAND ONE HUNDRED FORTY THREE DOLLARS PER SHARE. Profits made off your backs. I wish I didn't even have to give one star.

The misleading part of this (apart from two ratings for one property): Name your price "this hotel accepted a bid of $113 - 12 hours ago". Express Bid - $73 (hint you have stayed at this hotel before). I only stayed at the one property, I know my "hint". Deliberately misleading customers and happy to continue to do so. Last Fall, my wife and I were going to a conference in Orlando, FL. We booked our stay through Priceline.com, thinking things would go smoothly, we were in for a shock when we arrived to check in. The desk clerk immediately told us "no, you have no reservation in our system, your name is nowhere in here." We had to scramble to find a room at a somewhat less desirable hotel, as we had already paid the fee for the conference, which was held in the hotel from which we were turned away. Nice, thanks a million Priceline. Tried to reverse the charge on my credit card, but the issuing bank, for some odd reason, refused to do so. So, we are now out some $350 Priceline stole from us.
I contacted them, but got a response along the lines of "gee, we're so sorry you had to go through this, but you'll have to contact customer service at Miracle Doozy-do, one of our subsidiaries, to get help with this." Typical dodge tactic and here is another number to call so that they can also give you the runaround. Lesson learned, will never try to book with these ** again. Will be contacting the Attorney General's office in both FL and CT (where these scammers are based) to let them know how these thieves operate. They should be fined and hopefully go out of business. Advice to all: Never use a "middleman" company like this, book directly with the hotel.

I called to get a refund because my son couldn't check in and they refused to refund my money. Then they hung up the phone on me. Worst customer service ever. If I could give a zero I would. I booked a hotel not knowing it was Priceline which was my first mistake. We were going to see our son in Houston but an emergency came up and we had to be in another state the date that we were going to Houston. I called two days prior to our reservation to cancel and they would not cancel it. I tried changing the date the next weekend because we still plan on seeing our son in Houston. They still would not help with that. If I would have called the very next day they could have canceled or changed it but when emergency pops up that is completely out of your control When we weren’t given a four day notice. I will never use this company again. Hotels.com is very accommodating and helps in any way and I would suggest anybody to use them instead of Priceline.

Please be very careful when using Priceline. They will not cancel your reservation for any reason. If you make a mistake or are unable to read the very fine print, you are out of luck. I used Priceline over the Memorial Day weekend to help me find a motel in NM. To make a long story short, when I checked out, I discovered that I would have saved $20 if I would have just booked directly with the motel. I called Priceline and all I got were excuses as to why they were not going to honor their best price guarantee! What a crock! This service advertises that they will save you money when, in all actuality, it ended up costing me more! I will never use them again and highly recommend to anyone else that you spend the extra time and go directly to the motel/hotel yourself to book your reservation. Priceline has to charge more in order to make a profit; yet, you'll still get an email saying you've saved 20% when I actually paid more than what the motel would have charged me if I would have booked directly with them! Total scam artists!

I went online specifically to find pet-friendly hotels, as we have 2 dogs that travel with us. Found a great hotel for a reasonable price, after speaking with an actual human on Priceline. Said human informed me that yes, the hotel did take pets, with a $15 per critter per day charge. No problem!!! Book it. Done. Fast forward to check-in, a weekish later. We arrive, and I go to grab the room keys, whilst my hubs untied the stroller from the roof of the car. Yes, yes, 2 kiddos, 2 pups, and 2 tired parents. So I go inside, Bryan checks us in, and gives me a total. My response was to correct him, and include the $30 extra for the dogs.
At which point he informs me that they aren't a pet friendly hotel... Priceline had them listed, AND CONFIRMED THROUGH A LIVE PERSON, that they were. So now I'm staring at this very apologetic man, angry, it's pouring rain outside, my 3 month old is over it, dogs are over it, and my husband is ** soaked. And we have to find a new place on a holiday weekend. Immediately. Thank you Priceline. NEVER. AGAIN.

We booked thru Priceline a motel in Yuma Az. We arrived at 10:00 PM. Went to check in and motel no longer opened and had not been for SIX months. We called Priceline and they put us in a hell hole in bad part of town. Next morning called them. They told us too bad and we were on our own. So we found a room. Same price but MUCH NICER. I don’t have order number but can get receipt of the whole damn mess. We tried to ask for our money back since they sold us a non existing motel. Told No. Filed with VISA. PRICELINE FOUGHT THEM on 2 diff attempts to get money back. So it has been six months now. THEY KEPT ALL OF OUR MONEY. We had proof of staying in another motel. We had proof of everything. Priceline is a joke. You will end up paying more and would never deal with them again. So we ended up paying double for our rooms. Stay away.

This is worth a read: Please reconsider using Name Your Own Price if not eliminating Priceline completely as a tool. The policy, which advertises, "Priceline will find you a hotel with (whatever star rating you give them) OR HIGHER." True, you cannot see the hotel until after you win a bid BUT with some research, you can figure out which hotels are around, their star rating by Priceline and other sites, their amenities & which ones are available prior to placing a bid. That way you know, or should know, what hotels will be in the "pool" Priceline is forced to choose from prior to bidding & giving Priceline any credit info except what happened to me. The Priceline main site lists all hotels in the area and gives them a star rating.
The Name Your Own Price is supposed to be an alternate option, or better deal. It gives you a box to check next to the desired star rating you want your hotel to have, area, date, & finally your bid. I chose the 2.5 star OR HIGHER category since the ONLY 2.5 star hotels Priceline listed with availability, were the Holiday Inn Express and Hampton Inn. Best Western also had a 2.5 but was completely booked. If you have a bid that is denied, the site will ask you to modify a few things like raising or lowering your desired star rating in a hotel, its location, raise your bid or change check in days. Our bid of 70 dollars for any 2.5 star hotel (or higher) was denied 2 days in a row.
For 2 days in a row, these two hotels maintained a 2.5 star rating. I did not lower the star option since Priceline listed it's 2 star hotels & they were just that. 2 stars. There were no amenities shared between the 2 1/2 star hotels mentioned. Priceline keeps track of your bids and you can look at you bid history. Eventually, the site offered to resubmit my bid w/o having to change area, STAR RATING, or days if I was willing to increase my bid to $89. I reluctantly agreed because Jamestown is always on the news for drug busts to but it was the closest hotel to the 1 day only Amish auction 14 min. away. I thought, "Hey, the Holiday Inn and Hampton Inn are booking fast, I better take the deal." What the site DOESN'T tell you is: as you are confirming the price of your bid with a credit card, Priceline changes the star rating of lower quality hotels to fit in with the star rating in the policy & contract you agree to.
I contacted customer service when they booked me at a Comfort Inn that was, just seconds before and for the past 2 days that I had researched rates, was a 2 star hotel, not a 2.5 OR higher. The ONLY hotels that had openings listed as at a 2.5 in Jamestown, NY were the Holiday Inn Express and the Hampton Inn (also the Best Western but it was booked). The hotels, seconds prior to my bid, that Priceline rated a 2 star were: Red Roof Inn, Comfort Inn, and America's Best. They were correctly rated at 2 stars as they had NONE of the amenities the next star level up (2.5) had, like a pool and hot breakfast. I spoke with 3 "supervisors" at Priceline "customer care" who not only insisted the Comfort Inn was the same rating as a Hampton Inn or Holiday Inn but the final "supervisor" I spoke to increased the Comfort Inn's star rating to a 3.5... AS WE WERE SPEAKING!!!
So Priceline blatantly uses false advertising, spontaneous unpublished or warranted rating manipulation, and offers no apologies or refunds. We ended up calling the Comfort Inn directly. The desk manager laughed and said, "No! Comfort Inns are definitely low quality. Nowhere near as fancy as a Hampton Inn, Holiday Inn or Best Western! Hahaha. I personally would never pay more than 50 bucks for ANY Comfort Inn. Lolol."
After he was done yucking it up, seemingly at our expense, he had no problem cancelling the reservation and refunding our money. Priceline expected us to pay $89 a night for a Comfort Inn they up-starred mid purchase!!! They did this star manipulation without letting me know OR, more importantly, having the hotel earn a higher rating as nothing in that hotel had been improved. With the high NY state tax, our reservation was over $200 for two nights at a Comfort Inn! Priceline and my Priceline account are permanently deleted. As my history with was recorded, I'm surprised they had the nerve to so obviously price gouge. I am not done fighting this.

The hotel I picked is named in the confirmation, along with all the amenities. I call two days before the trip, and my reservation is actually at a Motel 6!! Without the amenities I already paid for! They refused to fix it. They gave me this runaround about how both hotel had the same amount of stars so it was fine. Never mind the fact that their confirmation email AND reminder email both showed I was in the better hotel. It wasn't until I called that I found out it was all bogus. I did a name your price for a hotel in Kansas City. I received an email stating my offer was accepted. As soon as I opened it another page appeared with a lower rate. I thought, Great! I'll accept that one. Little did I know, I now had two reservations. I immediately contacted Priceline with the issue and was told that they couldn't do anything for me. I elevated my request to cancel the lower rate to two people with no success. I've used Priceline several times, but will not in the future. I was told they couldn't do anything, I told them they chose not to and I would write this review and let my friends know of the poor customer service I received.

They rated the hotel I reserved, the old run down Quality Inn in Globeville (central Denver) as a 3 star hotel. What a joke. When I arrived in the lobby, I thought I was in the State Pen. Scary looking types, ** and Hispanic, with tattoos and ganger look. Very bad news. Awful what ** does to your teeth. The front desk was understaffed and oblivious to the people standing in line. There was a cigarette filled sports saloon on the opposite side of the lobby area. I asked for a non-smoking room, but was told that all floors were smoking except the bottom two. The hallways reeked of cigarette smoke.
I told the clerk the place wasn't even close to 3 star, but they refused to reverse the charges. Definitely not a place for a family or business person to stay at. Priceline online customer service also refused to give me a refund and said they cannot help me, that is was up to the discretion of the hotel, who refused to give me a refund. Then I was cut off. By this time it was getting late in the evening so I booked on Priceline for a Quality Inn in another area where I had previously stayed. Bottom line is don't trust Priceline's hotel ratings unless you have actually seen the hotel, because Priceline does not visit the hotels it rates.

My significant other and I booked a hotel through Priceline.com and initially were happy to see a better price offered compared with other hotels in the area. After booking and arriving at the hotel, the front desk informed us we had no reservation and to call Priceline, because they didn’t even have ONE room left. So we were charged by Priceline, called them and initially spoke to “Jan” or “Jam” and kept getting the run around and put on hold and directly LIED to regarding her “attempts to call the hotel and no one answers” (8 times to be exact, she told us) and that is the only way they can refund us.
We literally were at the hotel and were they trying to call? No. The front desk was not even helping anybody and didn’t get a call. The hotel staff was even having difficulty with Priceline’s customer service. Unless you really push, they make a simple process frustrating and LIE! I never have had that happen. Needless to say, 30 minutes later of being put on and off hold and speaking to “Jake” (who may or may not be a manager), we finally got a refund granted. If my significant other and I hadn’t run into the hotel (in the rain, by the way) and given them OUR phone, I still think we would be trying to get a refund. I can’t even count how many times we were put on hold for them to “contact the hotel” (or not). Pain in the butt... not a great way to start a relaxing evening out. Ranting over! :)

Do not use Priceline.com for anything. Their pricing is appealing but you get what you pay for except if you have a problem. I conducted a search for minivan rental for a 10 day trip at San Diego Airport. The reservation ended up at San Francisco Airport somehow. They refused to change, cancel or refund over $600 because of their "No Changes Policy". Whenever you have a problem you must talk to a person who speaks broken English with a heavy accent reading prepared statements to general questions. There is no one who can resolve your problems. They do not care about their customers and I was hung up on several times and I wasn't even obnoxious or yelling, simply presenting logical and reasonable positions that they did not have prepared statements for.
Please do not use this company. You may get by as we did for several years, but they got us good on this one. We had to pay for a rental van for 10 days without being able to use it and we had to rent another van from Avis at the airport we flew into. Avis Car Rental, by the way, had no problem with the change. It was all PRICELINE.COM.

Once you prepay they charge your AMEX immediately - within 2 minutes. If you want to ask questions or try to make any changes (even pay the difference) there is no help at all. Their customer service reps are reading the same info on the web page so don't even try to call. You get their recording for the first 3 minutes then they are useless.

So I have been trying to book a flight online and it's just not going through! I have tried several times and same issue until I thought let me call them. I called and explained the issue to the lady. God knows where on the earth she lives, with broken English, told her what's going on and she is like "you have to keep try or change your search!!!" I am like!!!! It's not the search issue, is there anyone who could help me to figure out the bug and fix it or should I just book somewhere else, and she hangs up on me!!!! REALLY???? This is so crazy! Would never buy from them again! Go teach your employees some Costumer Service skills first!

Let me premise this with how hard it is to get a human on the line. When you finally do that person usually has a unintelligible accent and you have to repeat yourself several times. This is what I emailed Priceline... "My wife and I had a horrible night of sleep due to hotel mismanagement. We were forced out of bed at 4 AM this morning due to a horribly loud alarm that rang throughout the hotel leaving us scared and shocked and unsure what to do. We waited several minutes, unsure what to do and not knowing what was going on. We finally called the front desk and they said it was ok to go back to sleep, that one of the kitchen staff employees had put too much oil in the potatoes and that was the reason for the alarm.
After everything settled down we went back to bed but were unable to go back to sleep after this bizarre and unacceptable incident. At check out I informed the staff member but they failed to offer any kind of compensation. I spoke with 3 separate Priceline reps and they were unable to offer anything beyond a 5% discount on my next trip which is a slap in the face considering our rest was ruined and now we have another full day of driving with no rest. Priceline needs to do something about this and take this seriously. I paid for a full nights sleep and did not get that die to hotel mismanagement. You can call or email back. Thank you."
This was their response. "Dear Jesus, Thank you for taking the time to send us an email. We are sorry to hear your stay was not what you had hoped it would be. We address complaints directly with our hotel partners to ensure that future customers do not have the same issue. looking for. We would like to thank you for taking the time to contact us today." Consider this if you are looking to use Priceline. Also keep in mind hotel manager admitted kitchen staff caused alarm by overlooking potatoes at 4 am. Completely unacceptable!!! Do not use Priceline!!!

I booked a direct flight for my daughter and granddaughter from SNA to ORD. After hitting submit I was charged for a flight that took them through San Francisco and arrived in Chicago after 1 am. I called customer service to have them correct it to the flight I had booked. The response was, "We will cancel the trip but charge you 15 dollars." I have used Priceline in the past but never again.

I booked a hotel in Savannah GA for 3 nights. I paid IN FULL with my credit card and also Paid the Credit Card Bill in full when my credit card statement arrived. I arrived at my hotel and the front desk told me my virtual credit card was declined. I would need another form of payment. I showed the hotel my order number from Priceline. The hotel called Priceline and explained the situation. Priceline agent said there was nothing she could do and hung up on the hotel agent. The hotel called again, this time asking for a supervisor and the agent with a heavy accent said she could not understand her and hung up again. The third time the hotel call, the hotel agent told Priceline to cancel my reservation... Priceline said she was not able to cancel the reservation.
THE 4th phone call placed by the manager at the hotel, she was able to cancel my reservation and rebooked my reservation in house with the hotel. Priceline called me to make sure I wanted to cancel my reservation and I said yes and told them why I wanted to cancel. After making NEW reservations with the Hotel, I paid 204.00 more which was just fine with me after dealing with Priceline for over two hours trying to get this issue resolved. This is the second time I have used Priceline with the same issues. I will never use Priceline and my company will never use Priceline again. Thank you again for the embarrassment of being in a hotel lobby to find out your virtual credit card was decline when it was paid in full. Great way to start off your honeymoon.

Terrible experience with Priceline. I booked the tickets on their website. However, within 10 hours I checked the prices for the same flight (time, airlines and etc) and it was lower. On their website says: "We Guarantee the lowest price on everything you book. Find a lower price, we'll refund you 100% of the difference. Book an Express Deal, we'll refund you 200% of the difference. Guaranteed."
I called their customer service and told them that the ticket price is lower and requested to adjust the price. Customer service was so unprofessional and unhelpful, she couldn't do anything, because she said "I don't see this price". Even I was in front of the computer and saw prices at the lower rates. I was transferred to the different department and was on hold for 2 hours, when sure thing low prices were gone. The customer service was EXTREMELY poor. I was very upset by this and will never book a flight through Priceline ever again. It is definitely not worth all of the problems they have caused, and all of the inconveniences.

I logged in to purchase a flight to Virginia. I selected both flights and was directed to pay and was offered to save $100 on the ticket if I applied for the Priceline credit card, so I did. I wasn't approved immediately, it took three days. So I go back to Priceline to purchase the ticket, but couldn't figure out how to get my $100 credit. I get on the chat window with Luke and I explain my situation and he seemed nice enough at the beginning, like he was going to help me.
Then he comes back with this canned explanation that essentially said that once I use the card, within the first 30 days, I would be given 5,000 points on my card, but I would not get the $100 off my ticket. When I proceeded to ask more questions Luke said he would not answer any more questions regarding the credit card, I needed to call them directly. What a crock. I won't be using Priceline again, for any reservation. They lie to get you to apply for their credit card. I didn't need the stupid credit card. I won't be using it.

I find it responsible for me to share my experience of being ripped off by Priceline. A few years ago, my sons were working in Alaska and wanted me to visit for my summer vacation. I had located a round trip flight through Minneapolis for $380.00. My son, Mike, worked nights and offered to look for a cheap fare in the wee hours. The flight he booked through Priceline was $750.00. A week before my scheduled flight, I slipped on stairs and injured my back. The doctor I visited wrote a medical excuse that I could not tolerate travel until healed. The airline accepted the excuse, but advised me that Priceline would not. I was told, instead, by Priceline that I had a year to rebook and to use a transaction number, in addition to my son's information.
I am a senior citizen. It was a financial strain, but I reimbursed my son, The following year, we again attempted to book a flight for me to travel to Alaska. The airline (Norwest) informed me the ticket had been purchased by another airline. I followed the instructions to book through that airline. No record was found and I was referred back to Priceline.
Repeated attempts to communicate verbally and in writing with Priceline were unsuccessful. There was no service offered by Priceline Customer Service, except to purchase a new ticket through Priceline. This woman, now in her seventies will not offer Priceline an opportunity to again "rip off an old lady." I am currently searching for a ticket to Virginia. Priceline offers continually appear on my computer screen. The ads do not prompt me to buy from Priceline. They have prompted me to write this to, hopefully, help someone avoid the treatment I received from Priceline. $750.00 was taken from me, hours of my time, all for naught.

My experience with Priceline was terrible. I called their customer service multiple times because they messed up the dates for my travels. They charged me double for the hotel, and then they didn't put my information incorrectly so I was charged by the hotel as well. I was back and forth with them on the phone for TWO weeks, and the customer service was EXTREMELY poor. I was very upset by this and will never book a hotel through Priceline ever again, and will recommend that people book hotels anywhere but Priceline. It may be cheap, but it is definitely not worth all of the problems they have caused, and all of the inconveniences.
I had booked through Priceline since they had decent prices, but I ended up paying two-three times more due to their mistakes, which is very frustrating. Do yourself a favor and do NOT book through them, otherwise you'll have to deal with potentially being double charged, have your payment for the hotel through Priceline not go through and have to pay the hotel too as well as Priceline, and try to get help through customer service which doesn't help at all. Save yourself the trouble, and book through another company that may be a bit more expensive because at least then you'll know that they actually put your payment through instead of just taking your money and charging you twice and conveniently not having any answers or solutions.

I tried to book a hotel with Priceline but the website did not work. I received a web message telling me my credit card details had been entered incorrectly and Priceline still took the money. I don't know how money can be taken from my account if the website error message says the details are wrong! Not only that; Priceline took the money from my bank for the booking 3 times so far! My bank have confirmed to me that Priceline have taken the money. Over £2000 ($2500 US Dollars!) I called to complain to Priceline and they said I should receive the money back within 7 days! There was no apology, no rush to help correct their mistake, no escalation as to why the website gave the error message but managed to take the money anyway. Terrible terrible company, will never use again and advise everyone everywhere not to use them. I am questioning if this is fraudulent.

Horrible customer service when switching flights. Called several times about changing my son’s flight by one day. Priceline stated they couldn’t switch the ticket to a price less than the original. They made me pay for a more expensive ticket of the same flight even though there was an available price $20 less than what I originally paid. Where is the discount and service that they advertise? Furthermore the original ticket that I bought from Priceline was not discounted from the airline’s price. Very unprofessional, will never use again.

Priceline has the highest car rental prices, over $100 dollars for a day rental under the economy section. I used other means of car rental where they start at $32 even for a pick up truck. Will not be using Priceline ever. I created an account with Priceline just to write this review.

National Car Rental and Priceline, Terrible experience trying to rent a car, policy on debit cards was not clear and they would not honor my reservation made several days prior to pick up date. I had to pay a 42 dollar cancelation fee because they would not fill the reservation. The “oh well, it’s your problem” attitude of this company is bad, be careful and read all agreements very carefully. Will not use them again.

I booked flights with Priceline, and they made a mistake in the confirmation. I tried to call immediately to correct the booking mistake. The call goes to a hold mode, and no EVER answers the phone. I've tried calling 4 different times within the 24 hour fix/change time frame and get the same response - none. Each time I've called I've been put on hold for over 1 hour! And no one EVER came to the phone. I am concerned if the booking are even legit at this point. Don't waste your time or money with Priceline, not worth the headache or fear that the company is even real! Learn from my huge mistake - better to pay more for a real booking, and customer service that actually responds to a phone inquiry to fix a Priceline generated mistake!

I purchased my ticket for $797.99 with the intent to cancel if my vacation was not approved (24 hr cancellation on website). It wasn't so I called and the representative said this reservation cannot be cancelled or changed, much to my surprise. I took it further by calling my credit card company and they started the dispute, it's now two months later and Priceline will not entertain my dispute nor will they give me anything in writing stating that I called to cancel within the 24 hours. They need to be investigated for false advertising. This money took me a long time to save. I am going back home to elderly parents 3000 miles away. What they did was unforgivable and dishonest. Someone needs to look into their dishonest practices. Just go to their website and you will see for every flight information at the bottom it shares 24 hr cancellation. Please help me.

Made a reservation to a hotel in Kissimmee, Fl and used this third party company because it appeared to be cheaper. Reservation was for 2 adults and 2 children of 10 and 7. To our surprise, a confirmation was sent back for only 2 adults so only 1 bed. Of course the credit card was entered and charged so when I called the hotel, they stated that Priceline and the hotel had their combined rules so if I wanted to upgrade it was going to be $80 more and only a sofa bed would be added to the room. Not a two-bed room! After calling Priceline to complain about it, they said "too bad" and if I decided to cancel my reservation, they would still charge the full amount for the 4 days we had reserved. I recommend to everyone, do not use this company. They have shown how they do not care about the customer at all.

I book a hotel room on Priceline.com and the place was a complete dump. There were blood stains on the wall, the toilet was leaking out on the tile, there were bugs in the room, the carpet had semen stains, everywhere was dirty. There was coffee in the coffeepot that appears to have been there for months, There were dirty socks on the floor. We called Priceline as soon as we arrived at the hotel and noticed the conditions and they refused to help. They told me to speak to the manager of the hotel and it was 2 am. There was no one on site except for the front desk clerk who did not have the authority to make any decisions. I was assured by Priceline that they evaluate all the hotels that are listed on their website.

When purchasing a travel package Priceline really knows how to make their customers feel our business is important to them UNTIL WE PAY. I spoke with two different representatives about my trip that is a month away and they basically told me, "Too bad, it’s an 'exclusive deal.'" Priceline was horrible for us. They've gone downhill. I've booked every vacation through them, and now they are doing false advertising on their hotels. In Express Deals, I was offered "bed choice" -- something you absolutely need with a family of four. After paying, I was told bed choice would be available once I got to the hotel in 2 months. So if they sell out of rooms with 2 beds, my kids would have to sleep on the floor. They refuse to change the reservation to guarantee 2 beds, and they refuse to refund me. Two of the Priceline supervisors challenged me saying it did not say bed choice until I was able to prove it. One of them kept saying it was impossible that it said that and implied I was a liar more than once. I've added a screenshot where it proves there WAS a bed choice promised. I'm stunned by this awful level of bad management from a place I patronize every single vacation. Shame on you Priceline, and get better customer service!

I booked a hotel in Orlando through Priceline approximately 60 days before my trip, I was in Florida in a different area and the day before my check in I got a email saying the hotel was overbooked and they switched me to a different location, well I had chosen that one for its location and really nice poolside area. The one they changed me to was not even close to as nice. After many calls and lots of time wasted on the phone I got a room in a similar property. When I checked in there I was told I had to sit through a 90 minute vacation club presentation as part of my stay there, like I had not wasted enough of my vacation time on the hotel mix up. They got rude also when I let them know I had no intention of purchasing anything.
This is also the second snafu I’ve had with Priceline. The first time my daughter and I took a late flight in and I booked a hotel close to the airport just to sleep the one night, we got in around 12:45 am and were told our room was gone, so the confirmation they give you means nothing. I called them and they booked us in another place 25 min away so we ended up not getting to bed until about 1:30 am. So if you want to be confident in your reservations and sure your vacation will go smoothly as planned do NOT use Priceline.com

I booked 2 rooms for a business trip via Priceline. They charged my CC on both rooms. When my staff arrived before I, they had the reservation but no payment. She had to pay with CC of no room. When I arrived they had NO reservation nor payment confirmed. I had the copies of the confirmations with me, yet no information. So I had to REPAY for both rooms at a higher rate. Called customer service and with had to deal with the customer service that transferred me to Booking.com and after 30 minutes received a refund of the charges applied by Priceline or Booking. Not sure at this point who does what and they said they would refund the difference of the higher hotel bill and the price quoted by Priceline after I presented them my CC statement. Next time I book direct with the hotel! No more middleman.

I booked a hotel with Priceline and they promised me a three star hotel and the booking is non-refundable but they gave me a wrong name and address of the hotel. Me and my family were in trouble there and when I called Priceline the supervisor named "STEPHEN" told me its non-refundable and we can't do anything. Don't use this site. Having never used them before and having used Booking.com and Airbnb countless times without hassle, I thought I did my homework and checked reviews and did a scam search on Priceline. All appeared above board and I found a great deal on Priceline after spending many, many hours scouring the internet for 'exactly the right place' to stay for 5 nights in Phuket.
I selected a specific suite with Seaviews in a resort- took a screen-shot of the page that showed the total price for my dates and correct suite on the page in which I entered my personal details and payment details, double checked all was correct pushed CONFIRM PAYMENT and lo and behold the next window opens confirming my NON REFUNDABLE payment (a large sum), and a different, inferior suite with garden views! What a take!
I contacted the 'live' chat immediately and though the message told me I was first in line, I waited over 40 minutes for a customer service agent to join the conversation. I explained the dilemma and the system mistake that had occurred through no fault of my own to be told I would have to contact their partner site Agoda. No toll-free number provided- extremely poor and deceptive service. Agoda have responded but taken 72 hours to rectify the mistake after numerous emails from me and a copy of the screenshot. Sadly, what looked like a great deal has been costly as I have had to pay twice and will not receive a refund for one of the bookings (NOT MY FAULT!) for up to 30 days- how can that be any less than a scam when both my payments were debited from my account in minutes?? I have also incurred additional international transfer fees on both transactions- Never, ever, again!

I called their customer service for price match. The guy who answered my phone told me they price match only for the first 24 hours after your booking. How ridiculous! I booked a vacation package to Orlando for my family and I. I specifically searched for hotels that offered meals because I didn’t want to go out to eat every night and day. I found the Holiday Inn Water Park Hotel on Priceline. It came with a couple of different options for the rooms. If you paid additional money you would get breakfast and dinner. I chose that option. I was excited.
Well to my surprise when we went to check in the hotel they had my reservation but the food was not included. I immediately got online with Priceline and chatted with a women named Courtney who told me it was not guaranteed. I said, "What do you mean?" I paid the extra $ for this package. Then she proceeded to tell me it wasn’t on my reservation and sent me paperwork that did not have it. I know what I booked because I specifically looked for hotels with food in the search. Priceline is deceitful. They show you one thing and do another. I am very unhappy with my experience with them.

The website is misleading me to reserve a higher grade of rental car. After I book the trip, the itinerary email is received along with economy rental car option in the same location. I cannot degrade my car reservation and I have to pay 15 dollar to cancel the whole reservation including flight booking. The first representative is with bad English and cannot explain the situation clearly and patiently, so I asked for another person, the second person was fine. But overall I paid 15 dollars for nothing, this is what happened. I will never book through Priceline and this is a very unpleasant experience.

I booked a hotel from 4/24 - 4/26, and the hotel was switched to a LOWER LEVEL in Quality hotel. The Quality Inn was not listed in the 3 star hotels, but the Quality Inn was listed in the 2 star hotel list. So when I booked a 3 star hotel, up popped the Quality Inn. This is definitely a 2 star hotel. This is VERY dishonest!!! Also, after booking the hotel, the website asked me if I would like to rent a car. And so I did. However, the website changed the date that the car was rented by an additional week. (The website booked the car from 4/24 - 5/4, while my hotel was 4/24-4/26) .
I called Priceline to change the date, and was told by Priceline to just take the car for the days that the hotel was booked. I also informed the AVIS agent, when I rented the car that I would be returning it on the 4/26, not 5/4. The agent made notes in her computer, and said okay. After returning the car 2 days later, I NEVER RECEIVED A CREDIT!!! In fact, today is May 1st, I returned the car on April 26th. The car is still rented until May 4th!!!! This is really terrible of Priceline.

I'd give them a zero if possible! In March 2018 I was trying to book a vacation package from Toronto to Orlando. The site would allow me to pick my hotel and flights, and input my name and my sisters' names as passengers and it allowed me to put my credit card information in. Unfortunately after hitting submit I would receive an error message indicating that they flights I had chosen we no longer available and I would have to pick new flights. I attempted to book this package over multiple days as the flights were continuing to show as available to only ever receiving the same message “flights not available”.
I contacted a customer service representative looking for some assistance in booking my package only to be advised that the Customer Service Reps only assist customers after they have booked and received a confirmation number for a service through the website. The agent couldn’t help me book a trip. I asked about the error message I was receiving and he indicated that I just needed to keep trying or I had to choose other flight times. He confirmed that the flights while they appear on the website as an option may no longer be available. I hung up and tried again over different dates as per his suggestion to book my vacation, still with no success – still receiving the same message.
I gave up trying to book through Priceline as any of the other flight times being shown didn’t work with my schedule (and really who knows if they were actually going to be available). While I was unsuccessful in booking my vacation package there was still a hold put on my credit card for the money. I contacted the customer service team to find out why there was a hold put on my credit card given that I was unable to book through the website. The customer service agent confirmed that no trip had been booked under my name and my credit card would not be charged. However I have been charged $1298.15 for a trip that I was never able to successfully book. I never received any other message other than the flights you were interested in are not available… I did not receive a confirmation of a trip booked.
I booked my vacation package through another company as I was not successfully in completing my booking through Priceline. The trip is for the same dates, hotel and people - why would I have booked a second trip for the same people and dates??? I contacted customer service team on April 23, 2018 and spoke to George who indicated that he was sorry I was no longer satisfied with my reservation. I told him that was not the issue, my issue was that there was no reservation as no confirmation was ever sent to me. I spoke to supervisor (Max) after being given a runaround who stated he would escalate my issue as a travel service/website error issue and provided me with a case #**. He stated that I would be contacted within 3 business days. Today is May 1st and I have not been contacted by anyone from Priceline regarding my issue. I have no clue how they are still in business.

Someone fraudulently booked a room with my debit card through Priceline. When I called and told them, they were very unprofessional. No one I have talked to cares at all and no one wants to compensate me in any way. This is the worst customer service I have ever received.

Website indicated that we would be placed in a hotel that is comparable to the following: Crowne Plaza, Embassy Suites, Hilton, Holiday Inn, Marriott, or Sheraton. We were placed in the Brent House Hotel. Never heard of this so we looked it up. It's located in a hospital! NOTHING like the other hotels. Why in the world would someone want to stay in a hospital setting if they aren't sick or visiting someone who is sick?! VERY DECEPTIVE advertising on Priceline's part. Finally found a "customer service" phone number for Priceline and their employees were extremely rude! We are absolutely furious about this! BUYER BEWARE when using Priceline! I know we will certainly never use them again!

I booked one car rental. I then noticed that I received two separate confirmations for my car rental and charged twice. I called Priceline who told me that I could not cancel the rental made in error by Priceline. After much discussion the service person agreed to cancel the unwanted rental fee, however advised there would be a $28.00 cancellation fee. I advised again that I only made one reservation and the other reservation was made in error by Priceline, she still would not cancel the $28.00 fee. I asked to speak with a manager, waited 10 min. for another person to come on and say exactly the same things as the first person with no resolution to help me cancel the $28.00 fee that was a mistake that Priceline made. This company does not care, please read this and don't use Priceline for anything. I have learned my lesson and will never use them again.

As a military member, I haven't had the opportunity to conduct too many official travel outside of official channels. After booking a rental car, I was informed that as a military member, I needed to create my travel through DTS (didn't know that) and that my reservation would not be covered unless I change it and book the official site. Called Priceline to cancel and they informed me that they could not cancel the order. Mind you I made the reservation 20 min before calling back and cancelling the order. They told me I couldn't cancel it and that it was final. Now I'm out 700 dollars and I still need to book and pay for a rental car through the official channel. Thanks Priceline for having ** customer service and not helping those that are in need. Won't ever use their service ever again.

After my mother passed away, I bought a ticket for my husband to fly home. When entering my billing information the Mac computer changed the passenger information to my name (matching the billing info). I called to explain this to an agent and supervisor, both told me there was nothing they could do, and I was out of luck for that money spent. I have purchased MANY tickets/ trips through Priceline, and so has my family. We will NEVER be using Priceline again. The lack of compassion, empathy, and attempts at extortion are unacceptable.

Traveling to San Francisco Bay Area - East Bay. Went online to find a hotel in the East Bay near Pleasanton/Dublin. Two Extended Stay hotels within 3 miles of each other available. Extended Stay hotel for $109 was shown, the next hotel available from Priceline was a very nice hotel as ExpressDeal for $129/night. This ExpressDeal shows a very nice room with Breakfast. I selected this deal. I did not want an Extended Stay experience. What happened, The ExpressDeal booked me with Extended Stay for $129/night. Priceline would not even listen to my complaint. Extended Stay are Make your Own Bed and a Grab and Go breakfast snack, not what I want... Now stuck with the arrangement.

I have actually been using Priceline for years but today was the last time. I needed to change the date of my hotel stay 2 days beforehand and they refused to help me. I wasn't cancelling. Just wanted to change the date but NO they would not. When I contacted the DoubleTree directly I could only get a call center who also did nothing for me. Do not use Priceline or DoubleTree!

Booked tickets to Chicago from St. Louis March 17th 2018 but then had to cancel them because the timing was wrong. I was told to cancel online, there would be a link if the option was still open. There was a ‘cancel flights’ button, so duly went through the process and cancelled online. Being extremely busy l moved on to deal with other issues l had. Then l received an email March 30th reminding me of my return flight!
I phoned immediately was disconnected after 4 minutes and 2 minutes respectfully. Called back and was on hold for over l hour finally talking to a representative who explained there wasn’t anything she could do. Waited on hold again to speak to a supervisor, who did not offer any further help! Tried several times to phone head office who don’t even answer the phone! Will never use Priceline again. I love William Shatner, but his repeated joke while on hold drove me insane when all l wanted was to talk to someone. $803 down the pan. Who can afford that, while Priceline execs live the high life on our money!

I purchased Business Class ticket on 4/16/18 what Priceline call the “EXPRESS DEAL”, they post minimum information on their website to make the deal attractive, they ONLY post the rate and the date you are flying and up to how many hours your flight will layover and how many stop you will have, no arrival date, but you can’t see the flight itinerary until you enter your personal information and your credit card #, it doesn’t ask you to confirm the flight information and it doesn’t say “THE TICKET IS NON-REFUNDABLE”. It doesn’t ask you to confirm if you like the flight or not, they charge your credit card IMMEDIATELY then they tell you IT IS NON-REFUNDABLE.
I contacted customer service within minutes of booking to cancel the flight. They refused to assist me to get my ticket refunded or to pay a penalty or any consideration, they were rude, unprofessional. I spent over 2 hours on the phone and chatting online to rectify the problem. THEY REFUSED to give me $3,000 credit to book another flight through Priceline. BEFORE YOU BOOK YOUR FLIGHT WITH PRICELINE, BE AWARE THEY ARE NOT AN ETHICAL COMPANY.

Priceline has been absolute garbage in helping me modify a business trip. It would have been more efficient and saved me a great deal of time dealing with Priceline to just not show up for the flight and buy a new flight/hotel/car package for the trip altogether. I travel a great deal and I cannot believe the nonsense the customer service is feeding me about not being able to cancel one passenger’s flight or hotel room?!! Absolutely worthless. I want my time back. I will never ever ever use Priceline. They are cheap because they are worthless in customer service and trip planning.

I attempted to book online, but received an error message that my booking could not be completed. The next day I see on my credit card, they did in fact bill me. I called for a refund and was told to cancel my Expedia reservation. So to make it easier, I did cancel part of my Expedia reservation. Now I'm going rounds every day to get the full refund for my flights that I DIDN'T EVEN BOOK. I'm being told I was never charged, so I won't get a refund. I've been told 3 times that I wasn't charged. Except that I'm looking right at my credit card and can see it PROCESSED, not pending, and only partially refunded. I've been on hold 20 minutes now-most likely so I can be told I wasn't charged.

I rented a car to drive round trip from Charlotte NC to Knoxville TN and back. I booked the rental online for a car from Budget. I did see the notification that, once paid, the rental was firm with no cancellation option. I picked up the car at the CLT airport, as planned, but did not realize how inconvenient that was proving to be (I was not coming off a flight, but am local to the area, and that location was open later than the others). I was requesting to be able to return the car to a more convenient location in town.
The Budget Car Rental rep checking me in said she could not allow me to return the car to a different Budget location since I had pre-paid via Priceline. She also could not adjust the rental if I were to return the car before the allotted time because I had pre-paid via Priceline. Basically, any question or concern I had could not be addressed financially by Budget because I had pre-paid via Priceline. She stated that she had a lot more leeway to work with me if I had not pre-paid via Priceline. By doing so, it tied the hands of the Budget reps to work with the customer on any variables. She did, however, offer me a free upgrade on the car as sort of a consolation.
Then, upon returning the car, the Budget check-in person handed me a ticket verifying the check-in which had a total final price for the rental of $152.27 for the 3-day rental. The price I had paid to Priceline was $178.31. So I called Priceline to inquire about the difference of the $26 and if a refund would be issued to my credit card. I was told No, that the price I pre-paid to Priceline was not able to be adjusted.
Basically, my booking this through Priceline, which I have never done before, resulted in not only paying more money than I would have if booked directly with the car rental company, but also completely tied the hands of the rental company from working with me. I have rented cars directly in the past, and I know that, upon checking the car in after my trip, the car rental reps have totaled up my fees to come up less than the original quote - and I walk away actually paying less than originally quoted. The reps, apparently, have the leeway to work with the customer on check-in and check-out to maximize their savings. This has been true when I have rented from Enterprise and Budget rental companies.
Apparently, Priceline ties you in, and ties the hands of the rental car companies. I can only guess that they must do the same with hotels or vacations that you book through Priceline. I was extremely disappointed in the absolute control that Priceline put onto the rental company, and will absolutely never use Priceline again for any reservation I make in the future - whether for cars, hotels, vacations or any other activity.
I want this information to be on your system, as people should truly understand that there is ABSOLUTELY no adjustments of ANY KIND when booking through Priceline, whereas individual companies have the option of working with customers on adjustments at their discretion if not booked through Priceline. I did understand that the booking was final and not cancellable. I did not realize how it prevented the rental company to offer the Priceline customer benefits that it would otherwise be able to offer the non-Priceline customer.

I booked a car online through Priceline. Looked like a great deal... A few dollars less than others. I was in a rush so no, I didn’t read the fine print. I arrived in Grand Rapids late in the afternoon on April 10th and went to Avis (I’ll review them separately.) For now I’ll go to the fact that the car that I received reeked of cigarettes. I told the clerk but was not offered another vehicle. I wanted to get going so I left with the car. On The 12th I returned the car because I couldn’t stand the smell any longer, and made other plans.
My original reservation was to keep the car until the 16th. Regardless, I was not told that I would have to pay the full reservation price and was not offered another car upon return. Of course they charged my credit card for the full 6 days. Neither Avis nor Priceline customer service had anything more than “I'm sorry mam, there’s nothing I can do”. This is such bad business and so unethical. They have written themselves a license to steal! This isn’t over!

Unfortunately I booked through Priceline which was a third party. We were travelling from Florida to WV. I called them around 5:00 pm to see if I could change hotels and stay in Berkley WV. The answer was no because we had already book and would have to pay another fee. The reason for the change was that the traffic was so bad and when entering into WV it was snowing so this was slowing down our travel time. We had already been on the highway for 11 hrs and were getting tired. Anyway we pushed it to Clarksburg. Just lucky we didn't have an accident on the way. Arrived there around 9:00pm. Next time booking a hotel I will book directly with the hotel. Live and learn. No more booking with Priceline.

I booked a room the day we were traveling shortly before we left home. 2 bed 2 bath that they had a special price for paying now. Set it up and was thrilled. Got the confirmation and didn't pay much attention. Got our rental vehicle and I noticed I got the text itinerary. Clicked on the link and saw it said 2 queen bed suite. So I called the hotel to confirm what my reservation was, which was the wrong room. So I called customer service and the rep told me first that the contract they sent the hotel was for a 2 bed 2 bath and that if they don't honor it there isn't anything they can do. So I explained that the hotel shows they sent a reservation for 2 queen suite. After much hold she came back saying that they had a system issue and there is nothing they can do.
I can take the 2 queen room or they would be nice enough to let me cancel without a fee. I asked for a supervisor. The next person told me the same thing. The only offer for resolution was to cancel or use a room that did not meet our needs. I inquired if they were going to help with other accommodations and told I could do that online. That the reps do not do anything like that. They issued a refund and acted as though they were doing me a favor. Yet they sent a reservation for a room type I did not reserve or pay for. Leaving me to use data on my phone while traveling to search for a comparable room. Will not use again.

After my recent experience and reading other reviews, Priceline should seriously be investigated and exposed for their practices. I was duped with Priceline’s name your own price. I named my price and was given the name of the hotel they chose for my stay. It was a hotel. The normal rate is $65/mo that they were more than happy to take more than double for. I read the less than stellar reviews: used condoms left in drawers, drug activity, etc and made an immediate decision. My family with young children would definitely not be staying in such a place and certainly not for considerably more than the normal nightly rate. I called Priceline up right away and told them I did not want to stay at the hotel they chose and the reason why. They told me I had to talk to the trip protection insurance company; yet another scam. You can’t get your money back from Priceline with or without travel protection insurance.
If you don’t believe me, read through the rest of the ratings/reviews. Priceline’s Name Your Own Price policy is you cannot change or get a refund once they send you the hotel name. They don’t care about what condition hotel they put you in and then get to keep your money. Absolutely no integrity. They train their reps to repeat the same canned responses of “It’s Priceline’s governing laws...” With no regard to ethics and simple right and wrong. I let them know they should not be putting people in disgusting hotels and it’s as simple as vetting the properties which can be easily done through reviews. Their response was to tell me the hotel had a 7/10 rating through Priceline but then also admitted only a 3 star rating through Trip Advisor. Never again! And I’ll let everyone know my experience and to read other reviews of Priceline.

I reserved a room through the express deals. When I received the reservation confirmation I called Priceline immediately and explained that I needed a room with 2 beds, as I will have my kids with me. I was placed on hold while the agent contacted the hotel to make the adjustments. I was then told my the agent on March 28th that I would have a room with 2 beds and then he confirmed everything is ok. When I arrived at the hotel on April 6th I was told that I was in a room with only 1 bed, and I would need to make accommodations elsewhere. So Friday night in downtown Chicago I had to find another place for part of my family to go while on a family vacation. They ruined my vacation as we were not all together.
I called about this and spoke with a few different people and everyone I spoke with agrees that a Priceline employee made a mistake and told me something that was untrue. However, there is nothing that they can (or will) do in order to attempt to accommodate this inconvenience. I spoke with Grace who is a supervisor with customer service and she confirmed (along with everyone else) that this was a mistake made by a Priceline employee. Unfortunately, we are all human and make mistakes sometimes, so you cannot expect us to do everything right. The problem with this is that this "little" mistake that this employee made COMPLETELY RUINED MY ONLY FAMILY VACATION FOR THE YEAR! I cannot afford to just go and take time off and stay wherever I want all the time. This was my vacation, and Priceline messed up and the customer service department agrees that they messed up, but does not care.

I booked a hotel room on Priceline Express deal that clearly stated free wifi, parking and breakfast for $65 i.e. 36% off for the $95 regular price. The hotel they sent me to was Travel Lodge in Natick, MA. The hotel didn't even have the sign turned on and it was difficult to find it from the main road. The attendant was not around, had to wait 10 minutes for him to show up, checked me in and said there is no wifi, router is bad! I had work to do for next morning's presentation at a seminar. The place looked like a dump and the room door did not fit the frame properly and the safety lock did not work! The heating vent was loud, sounded like a vacuum cleaner. In order to sleep it had to be turned off and it was cold in there. It was getting late and I was tired. There was a similarly priced hotel in that area I could have stayed at and not go through this aggravation. See attached images.
I complained to Priceline customer service about the matter and basically they said they could not do anything about it! This Express Deal is a scam and the 3rd rate hotels they book one in leave much to be desired. I have stayed at many good hotels and that was certainly not a $95 room! It reflects poorly on the aforementioned parties, I don't think I will use Priceline again and same goes for Travel Lodge. It's a scam.

I rented a car from Hertz Corporation, through its agent Priceline.com, pictures located at Union station in Los Angeles California. The car I rented was Toyota Corolla - a midsize car. I was supposed pick up the car at 8:30 am but they gave me the car at about 10:30 I am. I got a 2017 Ford Focus an economy car instead of Corolla or other similar midsize car. I paid the price for a midsize car but I got an economy car.

I took an Express Deal on a 2.5 rated hotel that was supposed to be. The hotels that were listed were as follows: Best Western, Country, Stay America, Hampton Inn, Holiday Inn Express, LaQuinta, and Quality Inn. Nowhere on here is Super 8 or Motel 6 mentioned!!! Both of which are considered a 2 star hotels online and not 2.5 star hotels. If it had been I would not have accepted this offer! I am extremely angry about this and doubt that I will use this service again. I called and talked to one of their agents who told me that Priceline considers Motel 6 a 2.5 rated motel. They should put that on their site so that people know what they are getting into. I consider what they did advertising fraud pure and simple!

When seeing an advertisement for Priceline for hotels near me I am seeing a lower rate on the advertisement than on the hotel's site through Priceline. Looking for hotels for my family to come see us this summer. Example: Days Inn Niles, OH has an advertised rate of $45 but when you actually click on that hotel and go to the hotel's page it starts at 51 or higher. I haven't even put any specific dates in yet so how can Priceline show rates that are not even on the hotel's page. Looked at the hotel's actual website and they are even showing a $45 rate. This is misleading on Priceline part. Rates should be consistent with what is on the other sites.

I am a Part-time Priest and booked a rent-a-car on Priceline's mobile app while I was driving. It was $438 to their Vendor, AVIS. When I had to leave earlier I tried through Priceline's Overseas Call Center, through AVIS and also tried to dispute the charge through Chase's Overseas Call Center Dispute line - all to no avail. That is more than I make in a week. I couldn't see the small detail on my phone. I've been a customer since Priceline started in 1998 but they lost me. Chase has my mortgage, credit cards and checking, saving, etc. They have lost me too.

I recently stayed at Extended Stay America through Priceline and as always I look for hotels that serve breakfast. I have 3 children along with my husband. If I had known that this hotel did not serve breakfast I would have never stayed there. Even though it was very clean and the people there are very nice but I just need to be accommodated with breakfast because we are always on the go and it's just easier. When I told Priceline all they serve in the morning at the front desk is coffee and muffins they said that's what they call breakfast. So it's breakfast. No integrity whatsoever. You get what you pay for...not using Priceline again...

Booked a room for 2 nights and 4 hrs later same booking was 39$ less on Priceline’s own website (from 148$/night decreased to 136$/night). Called and price match not honored because “general public” is not signed into account. So therefore any price match cannot include when you are logged into Priceline’s or competitors website making any possible match impossible as deals only available if logged on. What a joke! Lost a customer due to lack of integrity. Honestly, it was not about the money but the poor customer service that bothers me.

I used "express deal" to book a hotel in Detroit (3.5 stars hotel). When you click on link "what hotels you may get" you see displayed hotels like DoubleTree, Marriott or Hyatt. Therefore I was very surprised when I got Trumbull & Porter (hotel) which I had never heard about before. When I reviewed their website the hotel and rooms looked like a dormitory. I called Priceline customer service to change the reservation. They refused with explanation that they have their own hotel star rating and they are confident with it and therefore, they will not change my reservation. This pissed me off. Well, I am also confident that I will never use Priceline again.

I booked a car rental with Priceline 14 hours ago. My travel dates have since changed and I needed to modify the reservation. Ruthie (the customer service agent) and Alex (her manager) informed me that she wouldn’t be able to help me due to the type of booking I made. The Priceline team is unwilling to accommodate me despite the thousands of dollars in bookings I’ve made with them over the years, and despite the fact that my trip still isn’t for several days. I’m very disappointed in Priceline's treatment of me and handling of this issue, and won’t be doing business with them in the future. I encourage others to reconsider their patronage of Priceline.

I've been in the customer service and hospitality industry for many many years. I normally don't give reviews but this is unacceptable to hospitality industry and this supposedly hotel do not deserve the one star given here. This is my story. We called the hotel Extended Stay of America, 8720 NW 33th, Miami Fl., to confirm airport pickup but was told that the employer went home so no pickup were available at this time so I immediately called Priceline and spoke with Chloe on (3.27.18) concerning canceling the reservation that I just made, nevertheless the inaccurate information given on Priceline site and by Priceline employer.
When Priceline refuse to cancel our reservations we had no choice and were focused to go. We arrange for super shuttle in which it cost an extra $44 dollars. We arrived to the hotel and it was close and gentlemen driver with SuperShuttle was kind enough to stay with us until the front desk person Ida returned to open the hotel after calling the desk several times. Ida the front desk person dispended with me for several minutes stating that we did not have a reservation because she couldn't locate our reservations but it was in front of her the whole time.
We finally got room key and I was pissed off once we entered the room, only to find paper on the floor. The brown lounge chair in the middle floor/bed and the bed looks like someone have laided in it and as we pulled the covers back we found a ant and tick in the bed. As we looked at each other we saw a roach crawling on the wall above the headboard. So you know we left a beetly it a Uber costing us another $32. I definitely would NOT recommend PRICELINE or Extended Stay Of America, 8720 NW 33th, Miami Fl. Filthy hotel and Very unsatisfied customer.

I reserved hotel through Priceline with the option of free cancellation for two days. I had to cancel my reservation due to my business need to be in town. I called Priceline to cancel it the second day around 5 pm. They told me that I can not do that because I should have cancelled before 12 noon on the second day not in the afternoon. There was no indication of time when I reserved the hotel. I talked to the manager and explained the reason for our cancellation and the policy of the free cancellation. She did not accept and said I have to pay the total amount of the hotel for the two days.
She mentioned that she is looking at my reservation and it shows the time for cancellation. I asked her to email it to me and she said okay but did not send it since she was lying. I told her that I don't like when a company does not honor their own policy and I will let people know via review not to trust Priceline. She did not care and said "you are welcome to give your opinion but I will not cancel your reservation". Please do not fall in their trap and don't trust what Priceline offer you before getting your money.

This particular room was booked through Priceline. Upon arrival the room was covered in dead bugs, hair and mud. After complaining and being moved to a new room it looked the same. We asked the manager and Priceline for a refund and even though the rooms were unacceptable the manager refused. After involving Priceline they refunded 179 out of 211 and charged us a booking fee. I don't feel that this is fair because it wasn't my fault the rooms weren't clean. I was also told we would have to have to find another room and our refund would take several business days (5-10) depending on my bank.
They took the $211.11 out within minutes. So what if I didn't have the money for another 3 days of my trip. Where would we sleep, the car? I wasn't happy with Priceline at all. I have enclosed my trip number along with a receipt for what was pulled out and a email receipt for what is being refunded. It was not a full refund! I booked this reservation under Clarence ** and used my card and email. I was going to let him check us in.

I will never use either Priceline or Booking.com again. There was supposed to be a 24-hour free cancellation. The condition of my hotel room was completely unacceptable when I arrived, (cigarette burn in the blanket, half drank bottle of coke on the bed, and stains on the bedding). They refused to cancel my room reservation.

My mom passed and rented a car. The car they gave me was not a Rav4 but smaller. Not enough to move mom's stuff back home. I tried calling and could not get through to anyone. I called the car rental place and they said to bring back in. I rebooked through Priceline thinking they would for sure credit me for unused days and dropped car off. Got the other car which was bigger and some person from the Philippines or sherbet denied it after explaining over a stupid online chat. They robbed me for over $300 here in Phoenix. Shame on them. DON'T EVER PAY ONLINE FOR CAR...WAIT AND PAY AT RENTAL PLACE DIRECTLY EVEN IF YOU BOOK THROUGH A THIRD PARTY. Shame on them!

We booked a hotel through Priceline.com about 2 weeks before our intended stay. It was a very busy weekend where we were going and hotels in the area were all fully booked. Upon check in, we were told that our reservation didn't only not exist, but the website was STILL booking the hotel even though they were full. We drove 9 hours just to find out that we had no accommodation for the night. We will never use any of these "deal finder" websites again. They're all the same. Sketchy hotels, phony bookings, "lost" paperwork. All they care about is $$.

Booked hotels through them, got to hotel, was denied hotel check-in because my ID address was in the same city, but moved to a different area over 100 plus miles away. Had to call to change names, but after names were changed, was notified that hotel reservation was cancelled. I’m sitting outside of the stupid hotel and your policy changed? Next time you have a drastic change in policy put it in bold so people can see. Thanks for ruining my travel.

I made a reservation through Priceline for a summer vacation. The price deals they offer are awesome! I was happy with the purchase until I needed to make change to the travel plan. No where on the deal page did they highlight the word, non refundable, non changeable. It is after you submitted your credit information and they got money out of your pocket did they include in the bottom of the email that “if the purchase you made is refundable and changeable, then you would get a link to make the changes. Everything is in the small prints.
And don’t even bother with the trip protection either, because they in itself is a complete different fraud altogether. It does not protect you to make cancellations or changes. The only time you are allow to make changes or cancellation through the third party trip protection is due to illness or death. I would never make any purchases through Priceline ever again because there’s so many hidden traps and once you step into their trap there is no way out!!! Priceline had me call the third party trip protection company, the trip protection company had me called airline company, and airline company had me call back to Priceline and all they can tell me was, "Sorry... you need to read the fine prints." This is absolutely ridiculous and it’s such a scam to the consumers!

I needed to change an error that Priceline made on the name of an air ticket. Called various customer service numbers and couldn't get through after many tries. What is worse, instead of playing something innocuous as you wait, you have to listen to this guy repeat the same joke over and over, thus preventing you for doing anything else. It was beyond irritating and I will NEVER use Priceline again.

I didn't realize I clicked a non-refundable room, I could've sworn I chose the refundable because I would never pay for a room or trip 6 months in advance. I tried explaining the mistake on their chat, they couldn't do anything and advised I call. Well, I call and nobody was able to assist, I spoke to someone through customer service who then bumped me up to the "escalation" department when I asked for a supervisor, then I finally spoke with Sarena the supervisor who really needs to learn how to convey what she is trying to say because everything sounded like an excuse. I was so unhappy with their lack of understanding, this seriously was one of the most horrible interactions I've ever had with a travel company. I will never ever search on this website again and will be sure to advise my friends and family to stay away as well. People cannot make honest mistakes because you'll suffer dearly from them with Priceline. Terrible business.

So I decided to take a chance and try Priceline's blind option, where you don't get to know which hotel you're getting until after you've paid for it and its non-refundable. They make it sound like they're getting you such a great deal. Talk about bait and switch. For $20 more I could have gotten a hotel with more stars and an indoor/outdoor pool instead of a seasonal one in the exact same area. It would have been a nicer hotel and I would have had cancellation options. Not only could I not use the "seasonal" pool, but due to remodeling, the "gym" was closed, too. And the pantry was so bare, I had to go out to find a decent snack and soda. Priceline did not save me anything. I am appalled that they get away with this. Will never use them again for anything.

I booked through Name Your Own Price option and then notice my hotel was cheaper on the website without using Name Your Own Price. The best price guarantee states that they will refund me 200% of the amount if I find a better price than their express or Name Your Own Price options. I was on the phone for almost two hours with four agents (2 supervisors, David ** and Greg **). I sent all of the representatives screenshots of the mobile app and website and links from the website showing the cheaper price. All of the reps refused to honor my information saying that they did not see the same information. I have never been so furious with a company in my life.

This is false/misleading! Don’t be fooled best price guarantee! I booked flight for 309$ then same time dates and destinations for 270$. Notified Priceline. They said it has to be same flight! No. It says on everything 100% guarantee! Does not say exact flight number!

I had put in reservation for March 13 and check out 18. I got email confirmation for checking in on the 18 and out on the 19. I called several times to have this corrected. Priceline would not do that. I stayed at Aloft booking direct for the dates I wanted. I have disputed the charge for the day I was booked at Priceline.

My wife and I recently returned from a vacation in Florida. At the end of our stay I booked a room with Priceline.com in St. Petersburg. According to the Priceline.com website this was a THREE-STAR HOTEL with a Deluxe Queen Room. I assumed the room would have the regular amenities of other hotels where I have stayed with the Priceline.com three star rating. Upon arrival we were informed the room had no television. Not only did the room not have a televison, it also did not have a telephone, clock, refrigerator or microwave and, much to our dismay, no mattress cover on the bed to separate the mattress from the sheets.
The hot water was lukewarm at best and the sink was not in the bathroom but in the corner of the bedroom and there was no furniture to put our suitcases. All of these are standard amenities in any Priceline.com three-star hotel room in which I have stayed. The absence of the mattress cover is unsanitary and inexcusable. On the evening of our third day the toilet stopped working and we had to move to an adjoining room. Once we were unpacked we discovered this room had NO HOT WATER AT ALL... not even lukewarm. We spent the last two days of our vacation sleeping and using the toilet in one room and showering in the room next door. And all of this in a Priceline.com THREE-STAR establishment. As we were at the end of our stay and on limited funds, changing hotels was not an option. We had to stay and the last week of our vacation was basically ruined.
While the hotel is obviously at fault, I believe the larger part of the responsibility for all this lies with Priceline.com. Their website sold a product the was far below what they were advertising. The actual walk-in price for the room was LESS than what I paid on Priceline.com. This from a company whose motto is to get you the BEST price and to SAVE you money. This hotel was falsely advertised by Priceline.com. It is a one-star hotel at best and had it been listed as such we would never have considered staying there. Shame on the hotel and even more shame on Priceline.com for being associated with them. BUYER BEWARE! Priceline.com, shame on you. I will never use your services again.

Back in early November I booked a car on Priceline for a trip a 7 day trip in early March. I was surprised that Hertz came up with the lowest rate of $278 for the week so I went ahead and confirmed. A couple of days prior to traveling I contacted Hertz to confirm the reservation but the rate they had online was different than what I had booked. I contacted Priceline and was told to not worry that my reservation was there and my rate was $278. In the interim I joined the Hertz Gold Club so I could head straight to the car as we were arriving late in the evening. The next morning I checked my paperwork and it said my charges would be $700. I contacted Priceline and they said don't worry the rate is $278. When I checked the car in I was charged $700. I complained to the counter and they said my reservation had been canceled. I protested more and they refunded me $160.
In the 10 days since I returned from my trip I have been fighting with both Hertz and Priceline about the overbilling. All Priceline will say is the reservation was canceled but will not say who canceled it as I did not. Hertz says that the reservation was made directly with Hertz and that I booked using a corporate discount that was only good for business travel and since this was a pleasure trip I couldn't use that discount. They also mentioned that the trip was canceled and rebooked on Feb. 23 when I had confirmed the reservation. When I explained to Hertz that I had booked through Priceline they said they had no record. An absolute joke on the part of both companies and I'm the one stuck $262 out of pocket more than I was promised.

When searching for a hotel in Norfolk, VA, I clicked on what I thought was the hotel's website as the "ad" said lowest price guaranteed. I had no idea I was actually booking through Priceline. The price was listed at $199 per night. The first time I saw the final total was after I put in my cc info and received a confirmation for two nights at $591.82! I called the hotel to complain and was told I did not book with them but, rather, with Priceline. The hotel confirmed that I should not have paid more than $467.98 with taxes, etc. I then called Priceline to complain. They said there was nothing they could do; that was the price negotiated with the hotel and it was nonrefundable. This was of course after being on hold and eventually getting hung up on. So I got had by clicking on the wrong link. I won't get my $123.84 back but hopefully this review will prevent others from making the same mistake. Be sure you are on the official site of the hotel and DO NOT click on an ad.

We bid on a 4 star hotel and ended up in a hotel we know is "at best" a 3 star hotel. They described it as comparable to a Marriott or Hyatt--it's a Holiday Inn, Shysters. We are not happy. Called and spoke to Customer Service and a Supervisor to no avail. Don't bother using them. Don't trust their rating system.

I booked a hotel and literally seconds after paying, noticed that the dates were incorrect. I immediately contacted Priceline and was informed that changes and cancellations were not allowed, no exceptions. So now I'm out the entire cost of the hotel. Their policies should be modified to allow for immediately identified errors to be corrected...maybe within one hour of confirmation.

Don't book through Kayak or Priceline. They will take your money and leave you hanging if there is a problem. I will only book through American Express from now on. I originally booked my car rental from Sixt car rental on Kayak which booked it through Priceline and paid in advance to get the discount. That part went well. My flight from Boston to Fort Lauderdale was canceled due to a Nor'easter. I tried to let Sixt car rental know I was not going to be able to make it because of my flight cancellation.
I went to their website to cancel and it referred me back to Priceline who referred me back to Sixt Car Rental. It took more than 5 hours of phone calls to automated phone numbers and multiple website visits to finally get a number to talk to a real person at Priceline. They were no help. They said I had to call Sixt car rental. I called the number Priceline gave to me for a contact at Sixt Car Rental. Sixt Car Rental gave me an email address to cancel at. I have still not heard back from them. You are warned.

Booked a first class flight with Priceline on 2/2. On 2/19 I received an itinerary change flying to a different connecting airport. No big deal I thought. Tried to confirm seating on 3/12 and found my tickets had been changed to economy. No one knows why and no one seems to care. They did not offer a refund. Terrible customer service. No one seems to be able to answer questions. Priceline blames Delta and Delta blames Priceline.

I was booking a stay at a hotel in Belleville Illinois online. As I look at the different hotels for that area the system switched me to Belleville Michigan. When I booked for the Super 8 hotel and got my confirmation it was for Michigan not Illinois. Priceline charge me for one night stay for a three minute booking. I feel that they were at fault for the glitch in their system that switches to similar states with the same city. I called them and they told me to cancel it online and rebook which I did. When I called customer service they said I shouldn't have called them to negotiate the cancellation. Meanwhile I'm out one night stay for a three minute booking. And they will not help me with this issue.

I recently booked a flight to Myrtle Beach for my sister's wedding. I put in my depart date and my return date. On your site you also have a statement that it would be cheaper if you changed dates. Well I couldn't change dates, and your site gave me so many different dates, that I was confused. I ended up selecting the 16th, which I did not want. My sister is getting married on the 16th and that is why I was returning on the 17th. Well now I cannot attend, because I do not have an extra $500 to change my ticket for one day. I just wanted to let you know, that I will never do business with you all again. I will call and talk to a person. This is so disheartening. I definitely understand human error, but I could not be accommodated at all, there was no compromise.

This company is pure fraud. They advertised 15+ times the hotel I was booking was available for "Free Cancellation". The location I needed to stay suddenly changed, 3 days after booking at two weeks before my trip (well within their policy guidelines which I was sure to read). I tried to cancel online and was shocked to see that my hotel wasn't cancelable. I immediately called and was told that the contract that I agreed to (after agreeing to free cancellation on the previous pages) didn't have a cancel policy and my reservation was completely voided if I cancelled. No one was willing to work with me (even though I just wanted to move to a different hotel closer to the city), and was told there was nothing they could do. Nothing at all? How as a global company is there nothing you could do for a customer.

I've used Priceline numerous times before -- all with Name Your Price and usually with no problems. However, just recently I was attempting to book a car rental and I noticed that there were changes in their website -- i.e. when I clicked on "see recent winning bids" I was sent to a non-related page and could never find those recent winning bids. When my first bid got a response that my bid had a low chance of being accepted and to increase my bid I upped the bid $1/day and submitted. I then received a "confirmation" for a daily price much higher than my bid -- and, even more than prices offered on the site without Name Your Price!
I immediately contacted Priceline (via 2 online chats) and was told the "contract" could not be cancelled. I then spent 1 1/2 hours on the phone with their supposed "customer service", including a supposed "supervisor" and got nothing but rote responses and denials that their system could ever be flawed and that I had "agreed" to the higher prices offered. I told them repeatedly that their system had a glitch and asked them why I would ever accept a higher price than what the site offered without Name Your Price? Always met with the same response of 'you agreed and we can't cancel the "contract"'.
It's the worst customer service I've experienced with any company and I truly believe they purposefully cause these types of issues and hope customers will go away from frustration. This is clearly a fraudulent practice and I immediately notified my credit card company and am obviously disputing this bogus charge. I've also filed a BBB complaint and am pursuing that as well. Interestingly enough I was able to book a rental directly through Hertz for half the price for the same deal.I will never use Priceline again and warn everyone else to avoid them at all costs, too. By the sounds of the thousands of recent complaints on this site it is obvious Priceline is not the company it may have once been.

In past years, I loved using Priceline, but recently, I have had nothing but trouble with them. I booked a specific hotel with them a few months ago without using Name Your Own Price or Express Deal, I simply chose the hotel and room I wanted at a set price, and when I received the confirmation for the room, it was for a different hotel in the area, not the one that I specifically selected. When I called to resolve this issue, they proceeded to tell me that there was nothing they could do and tried to reference it as a Name Your Own Price room. I explained the situation again, and they were still no help at all. I was told they couldn’t do anything for me.
I recently booked another room using Name Your Own Price and selected a 3 Star, but when it went through, it booked me in a 3 1/2 star that I was actually trying to avoid due to some bad reviews. So I immediately contacted them and explained that I had chosen 3 Star and absolutely did not want the hotel that they booked me in at a star level I didn’t select, and once again I was told that there was nothing they can. So I have now paid for 2 rooms recently that I did not want. I cannot believe that there is nothing at all they can do for their customers to make them happy. After being a happy customer for so long, I will never book with Priceline again. It is not worth getting completely screwed over. The customer service is the worst I’ve ever had and their policies are bogus! Do not book with Priceline!

Priceline advertises a price guarantee when express deal car rentals are booked on Priceline.com. The guarantee states Priceline will refund customers 200% of the difference between the booking price and the lower advertised price for an exact itinerary. I Booked a car rental express deal via Priceline for $235.00. The next day, the price reduced to $202 so I filed a price claim. After holding for a half hour, the associate on the phone said I was not eligible for a refund because it was an express deal. This did not make any sense so I called back and spoke to another associate and after holding another half hour on the phone, I was told that I was, absolutely, eligible for a refund.
Priceline did refund 66.00, however, a week later, their express deal price for exact same itinerary reduced again to 168.00. Had I waited to file a price guarantee claim, my refund would have been 134.00. Priceline refused to refund the additional 66.00. Priceline is not standing by their express deal guarantee. Terrible customer service in dealing with them as well. Associates tell customers conflicting information causing them to make multiple calls and then are asked to hold for an extraordinarily long time. It's not worth the trouble. I do not recommend booking anything through Priceline.

Priceline is very, very sneaky. As you scroll down through the menus, sprinkled in are "non-refundable" and "pay in advance" choices. Make a mistake and BOOM! "Your CC has been charged." Hey wait, I was going to use my Marriott points. What do you mean, I can't? Want a refund? No dice. I will never use these crooks again. I have 156,000 points, but will be paying out of pocket. Sneaky **.
