I wish I had been apart enough to read reviews before booking. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE EVER! I don't know why I didn't buy my tickets with CheapTickets like I always do. I need help finding out how much luggage is included on each flight and it redirects me to another page and then another page. There is no help ANYWHERE.. No real information or person to help. It turns out a flight I got is divided with two different airlines. THe charges on my CC were coming from different sources... SO I have to keep an eye on what is being charged.
By looking at the info I was thinking I was getting a different type of class... But it got booked on the economy class.. Now I cannot change it. Now I have to call all different airlines because they do not solve a thing as a group... The airline (Air Canada WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER... What customer service??? The NON EXISTENT one) that won't help you because you booked through Priceline... So no help from priceline and no help from AIR CANADA... Better go to CHEAPTICKETS. They always help you as a booking agency.... NEVER EVER AGAIN TRAVEL WITH THIS AIRLINE OR BOOK THROUGH PRICELINE. ~

I tried to reserve a hotel. I am very sure I got reservation done through Kayak, but at some point Priceline took it over and I got confirmation come from Priceline. I received confirmation with wrong dates. I have done number of reservations before and NEVER had such issues. I tried to reach someone to get the problem resolved... I had to deal with machine all the time; finally, I found a chat. After extended wait I was told that they cannot do anything for me and had a gut to tell me to use them again to reserve a new room. I lost my money, time!

Reservation desk turned me away because of an added fee I was not informed of, the clerk attempted to run my card and erroneously stated I did not have the funds. The clerk ran my credit card and charged me although I did not stay there. They had me ride back to the airport via their shuttle. I had to seek refuge like a homeless person, and stay awake in a restaurant. All said and done, I was awake for 33 hours before I could get home. Priceline staff did not assist and said they were having technical difficulties, and I should call back later. This allowed enough time to pass for the hotel to charge my card and thus preventing me reimbursement or compensation. I was a long term customer having used Priceline for 10 years. But no longer. I am going directly to the airline or hotel. To confirm all restrictions before I am ever placed in another dangerous situation as I was as a result of this reservation.

Hello to all... I try to book ticket from the Priceline... First the tickets they offer was off date so the “great deals “ was sold for days. After that I try to book 676$ flight and something like “sorry we couldn't process your...” popped out with notice try later so I bought from an airline directly and forget about the Priceline just to find “the deal“ in my email next day. They robbed me of 676$. Why this “company“ still operating???! Skip Priceline when searching for flight.

I noticed that they posted 4 hotels for 87 dollars for the holidays and three of the four were at the 159.00 rates and one at a 90.00 rate and I figured that my chances where good. Well I was totally wrong!!! Please do not do the rate thing and let them get the hotel for you. They are not very helpful to fix any problems or help you get your money back. So please don't get scammed by them.

I have been trying to book a flight for 2 days only to constantly be met with an error saying "whoops we are constantly updating our flights"...every single time I tried...for 2 days. I was unable to locate a phone number for customer service and had to chat with obvious a.i. I was then transferred to a "live agent", who may or may not have been a person, and without ever resolving the issue was summarily kicked out of chat. This is the first time I have ever written a bad review, because I generally don't think they are helpful. But in this case I think everyone should know how poorly Priceline does business. It really stands out because I was able to use Priceline without issue only 1 year ago. I do not know what changed, but if it's this difficult to even pay money to book a ticket I can only imagine the hassles after you've already paid.

I use Priceline all the time for different things. I was in a crunch and needed a hotel to stay for my last night in LA. The hotel that I booked through Priceline called Los Angeles Adventurers All Suite, has BED BUGS, I didn’t notice the bites till later on in the evening. I called Priceline to let them know of the issues and they refused to compensate me in any way because I didn’t mention the bites during check out. Priceline was noticed about the bed bugs and continues to keep the hotel listed on their site!

I have used Priceline for years and never experienced anything like this. Price offers the best deal for the Grand Luxurious King room at SLS Las Vegas. Once you pay for the room, your itinerary shows the Story King Room. After calling and explaining this to customer service, spoke to someone named Brenda **, she stated the reservation had to be cancelled and I could book through the hotel directly, which would cost double. Please do not book through this company, they are now a bait and switch company. Please pay attention to details in your itinerary.

I made a car reservation and accidentally choose AM instead of PM for return. I realized my mistake immediately after I hit the button, so I instantly called Priceline to correct and they wouldn't do anything. I disputed the charge with my credit card company, but they couldn't do anything because Priceline's website says no refunds. So basically I paid over $200 for a car rental that Priceline canceled so I couldn't use it and they will not refund me ANY money. STAY AWAY from Priceline - use Costco for car rentals... They are GREAT to deal with and will help you if you make a mistake!

Called in to PriceLine to make a Hotel Reservation, Room was listed at $58.00 vs. $94.00 regular Hotel rate - 36% savings agent representative said. Gave them all the appropriate information that was required to make the reservation, then the agent put it through. After a brief pause, agent claimed the transaction did not go through. He took the information once again and ran it - only this time He said the room was now not available. He then asked if he could take another reservation at the higher room rate. I told him where to go with his new rate, and told him to erase my information. Sounded like a traditional “Bait and Switch” operation to me.

My husband is in the military and they changed his flight home. In a chain of events, I also had to change my flight to go and get him. I booked the flight 6 hours before he told me the flight was changed. I even bought the trip insurance. When I found out that it changed I simply called Priceline to ask for assistance in changing the flight. They told me that they could not do that. No big deal - Please cancel and refund my flight and I'll just go ahead and rebook right now. They also refused to do that. When I explained that I purchased the insurance the man on the phone informed that insurance only covers unforeseen events, such as death.
The fact that I purchased the insurance, and it had only been 6 hours since booking the flight meant nothing to them. I tried to explain that I would be immediately rebooking and they would not be losing any money. They would not work with me. I would understand if I hadn't purchased insurance. I would even understand if it was the day before the flight, but this was absolutely uncalled for. They were rude and continuously spoke over the top of me. This is an emotional and stressful time. I even told them verbatim I just wanted someone to be nice to me. I called for help, not to be yelled at that I just have to "get over it, and pay more."

My baby and I got stuck in a town overnight due to weather conditions and my mom was trying to help us find a safe place to stay to thought she just reserved a place with my card and when I went to find the address it was not even close to the town we were searching for. Called immediately and let the hotel know what happened. They told me to call Priceline to get the refund completed. I called them right away and was on hold for 5 min the first time then since I have a baby I had to hang up and help her then I called back and stayed on hold for over 15 min. When no one answered I hung up and waiting and tried to call back a few more times with no answer. I eventually had to give up and get my little one to sleep and figured I would try again in the morning hoping to get an answer.
When I did the customer service representative was no help. They said there was nothing they could do to help me that is was my fault for not getting ahold of someone the night before. Even though no one was answering. I tried to explain to him I was a not able to stay on hold all night till someone decided to answer they had no way online for me to see if they had certain calling hours or a way to cancel online. So frustrating that this company that is supposed to be there to makes things easier can make a mess of someone’s night plus now we are paying for two hotels. One which we didn’t even use. Priceline sold me a ticket from US to Portugal but the layover at the NY airport was not long enough to make it to the next plane. They also did not warn me I needed a round trip per/Portugal law. That forced me to buy another one way at twice the price I would have paid for one round trip. They refused to reimburse me the $400 the airline charged me to change the ticket. They refused to talk to me because I had called the airline to discover the problems. So they ruined my trip, forced me to pay more for a ticket and fees. They took no responsibility. Did not offer a credit or an apology.

I am never, ever, ever using Priceline again. I booked a Frontier flight through them and then had to cancel (in October, for a Nov. flight)... Got an email with confirmation saying I'd get credit for the next year and to call Frontier directly. I tried calling Frontier to book a flight less than one month later (for Xmas), and they kept saying I did NOT have any credit from my cancelled flight. I was in a hurry, got impatient and ended up buying the flight online for Xmas because I knew I had another flight coming up (in Feb.) that I could use the credit for.
Called Frontier once again, and they again told me I had no credit and that I had been a "no show". So I called Priceline, and after being on hold 20 min, got a hold of someone. They put me on hold for 10-15min to call Frontier. Finally got back to me and asked when I wanted to book my next flight... I told them Feb., and they said "Sorry, that's greater than 3 months so there is nothing we can do." So I am out $150 because of this AWFUL EXCUSE OF A COMPANY.

I went online to make my rental car reservation with PRICELINE, even though, it wasn't an excellent deal rate I decided to book with them because of the time. I was flying from Orlando to Fort Lauderdale. When I landed I started looking for this company "Easirent.com" at the airport, then after going to E-Z Rent A Car by mistake. They told me that the other company was outside of the airport and I need to get a shuttle. (They say in the ad that is at the airport). After waiting 20 minutes for the shuttle they took me to "Easirent" location.
It was about 9:30 pm, day before Thanksgiving. When I'm at the counter they asked me for my DL. At the same time I gave them my debit card and they refused to take it. They said "We only accept credit cards at this location." I asked them why they never mentioned that before, only at that point when was too late for me to get another vehicle. I was so upset and disappointed going back to the airport asking and begging for a vehicle. Unfortunately all of them were sold out. I got to used Uber all the time. I WILL NOT USE AND RECOMMEND PRICELINE TO ANYONE.

I started with a planned RV trip to Orlando. I booked a rental car, for local transportation, 28 days in advance. Upon arrival, the car rental company (EXECUTIVE CAR RENTAL) refused the confirmed reservation, because I did not come in on a flight. There was no indication on the Priceline website that I needed one. Executive said it was not their fault that Priceline did not tell me. They would do nothing to help me get in a car. I called Priceline support and they said they did not actually "confirm" the rental reservation, that was up to the local company.
They did confirm that I met all of the requirements on the website and they did issue a confirmation. Then they told me I should always call the local vendor, be it air, car or hotel to confirm with them. They acknowledged this was not stated on their website. I asked for help in finding another car and they said I needed to hang up and call in for a new reservation. Bottom line is they add NO VALUE, they only lead you to think that a confirmed reservation from they has some value.

The hotel also advised that Priceline had been informed and should have had the renovation information listed. I contacted Priceline and spoke to someone who could barely speak English. He was no help at all. Priceline should have moved us to another location. The hotel said we could cancel but since it was after the 6:00 PM cancellation time frame, we would lose one night's charge. I'm too angry to type a lengthy review - so here's a quick review: I booked an "Economy Class" airline ticket from the US to Barcelona on Swissair. My confirmation email from Priceline stated it was an "Economy Class" ticket. Upon check-in 24 hours before my flight - it was learned that I had an "Economy Light" ticket? I immediately called Priceline because an "Economy Light" ticket does not include a checked bag at no charge like the "Economy" ticket does. Please keep in mind here that my confirmation email from Priceline stated that I had a "Economy" ticket and NOT an "Economy Light" ticket.
Priceline was less than helpful - stating that "Economy Light" falls under the "Economy" classification and therefore there was nothing they could do for me? There are four classes on the airline website for Intercontinental travel: "Light", "Economy", "Business", and "First." When I brought this to Priceline's attention - the rep simply "apologized" and stated that I would need to pay an additional $120.00 in baggage fees? Say what? Who flies to Europe for two weeks from the US with no luggage? Needless to say I'm more than upset - now spending more for my travel than I would've booking somewhere else. I will NEVER use Priceline ever again!

When we returned we decided that we would like to try another resort for the trip we have scheduled in March.
I did an online chat with Priceline and they told me no. I explained the problem (food poisoning and not being happy with the resort) and the agent (Hazel) got snippy with me telling me. Given that it is 4.5 months from our trip, I have a hard time understanding why the resort cannot be changed especially since I doubt Priceline has paid the resort for our stay. We also have 2 rooms booked at the resort we are planning for in March, and I asked if Priceline could contact the hotel and ensure they were next to each other. I use the word covered, but the contract actually says INCLUDED, which to most reasonable people means you don’t pay extra. I find out that in the land of Priceline therefore included means you pay extra. What hotel doesn’t have parking? Their response is that included doesn’t mean free. Have you ever heard anything more absurd. This is a bait and switch operation. Once you book an Express Deal they refuse to change, cancel or do anything to assist you. I asked to speak to a manager and I was told by the operator that a manager would tell me the same thing.
When I stated, "So you are denying me the right to speak to a supervisor." The operator said I would have to call another number. Priceline does everything in their power to make it difficult to dispute in hopes that you will just go away. Priceline is not interested in customer service or transparent advertising. If I could give Priceline zero stars I would. There is no reason for even 1 star. I booked a non-refundable reservation for 2 rooms and need to confirm with the hotel that one room was a double and the other a king which thankfully I did because when I contacted the hotel, they didn’t have my reservation. I went around and around with Priceline. “Someone will look into it tomorrow” Tomorrow game and went the I had to call again, “oh I’m sorry actually someone will contact you about it tomorrow (again)”. Next day nothing. I called again and kept getting the run around and finally they agreed to refund me my money.
I was hoping it was a glitch and an isolated incident so I waited a day and then booked again. I called to confirm the hotel had my reservation and NOPE. They didn’t. Called Priceline and Luis, who I spoke to, said, "I’m going to look into this and call you in 15 min". 2 days later and I never received a call. I did an online chat with them and they said, “it can take 24-48 hours for the hotel to update their system” (even though the hotel tells me it takes 2 hrs and the first Priceline employee told me up to 24 hrs). I wanted 48 hrs and the hotel still doesn’t have my reservation. This time I was smart and had booked a more expensive room that I was able to cancel so I did.
I will NEVER book through Priceline again. I could only imagine if I hadn’t wanted to confirm with the hotel on the 2 rooms what it would have been like to actually show up to the hotel assuming I had reservations, for them to say “we don’t have anything for you” with 6 people in our group and one of them her birthday.Unfortunately people don’t usually look at BBB until after a situation. But after seeing all the 1 stars her I don’t understand why Priceline hasn’t been shut down.

I tried booking car, flight + hotel package. It could not provide a car, but went ahead and charged my for hotel and flight. When I tried to add a car to the booking, the website would just spin & spin and not complete the addition. I tried this with several car types all with no luck. When I tried calling Priceline to complain about this and see if they could add a car, I was told they couldn't do anything and that perhaps when I get to my location I can see about renting a car. WTF??? So I asked to cancel the entire package, got transferred to a different department where the agent was extremely rude and talked over me, when I asked for a manager he hung up on me.
Called back a second time, was told the same thing, but guess what, now they can't cancel my hotel as it was 'locked in'. What a joke, all I wanted was to book everything all at once so I wouldn't have to worry about anything. STAY AWAY FROM PRICELINE!!! Priceline wanted to charge me another 25.00 a night to upgrade when their website stated I booked a river view room. I advised him that their website is false advertising and should not state you're booking a river view room when you're not. The day for a bone marrow biopsy was set, bought a ticket for the day before and return the next and trip insurance. My chemo schedule was set forward one week because of low counts making the date of the biopsy no longer right. I called Priceline, they told me call the insurance company. The insurance company had by far the worst telephone system I've ever heard. I could barely hear and understand the person. After trying and repeating over and over, she said call the airline. Called the airline directly. They changed the flight to the next date for the biopsy for $250. Then an email tells me since I changed the ticket with the airline they have no responsibility to me. Really took a hosing on this. No more Priceline. No more Allianz insurance.

I booked a British Airways flight from Texas to London with the flight costing $1,059 + flight insurance $68.87 for April 17, 2018. Unfortunately, unforeseen events occurred and I was not able to make my trip to London. I called months before my flight date and the only option that was offered to me was to put my flight credit on hold until Nov 19th 2018. The flight was non refundable or transferable. The only fees they mentioned were the re-booking fees of $275 + $30. The agent told me that as long as I use my credit before Nov 19th, 2018 there will be no problem re-booking the flights.
Firstly, Priceline's customer service is subpar. Every agent I spoke to was rude, short-tempered, and uninformed. I was not informed that my flight insurance from the original flight was non-transferable so $68.87 was stolen from me right off the bat. Skip ahead a few months to June of 2018... I called Priceline to use my flight credit and book new flights. I was shocked at how I was treated and mislead. The website at the time of re-booking listed flights From Texas to London to cost around $1,200. When I spoke to a Priceline agent to book the flight she told me it would be $5,000+ for the same exact flight. I asked her why they did not honor the current price listed on their own website and she told me that the prices on the website are 'discounted rates' and can only be used when buying a flight for the first time.
Since I was using a credit I had with the company I was not authorized to the 'discounted rate'! The agent went on to blame British Airways for the price hike and told me it was not Priceline's fault. I asked her if the price would drop in the near future or if this is the normal rate of $5,000? She told me that this is the rate she usually sees when re-booking flights... I then called British Airways and asked them their rate on the same exact flight and they quoted me around $1,200... The agent at British Airways told me that they do not hike up the price. This lead me to understand that Priceline is a shady company that I will never use again.
When I placed my flight on hold I should of been informed that all flights are inflated 4-5x over the original rate paid. I do not understand how this is legal?!? I could not afford to pay the $5,000 total amount to rebook my flight. It would of been totally pointless because I could of purchased a brand new flights at a fraction of the cost.
In Conclusion, I was not able to take my trip to London because of the 5x price hike on the ticket price and Priceline has stolen $1,128.43 from me. If I could rate the company a negative 4 stars I would in a heartbeat. This is the first time I have ever written a negative review about any company. Please learn from my experience and never use any of Priceline's services.

I have never written a review in my life, however, today I missed a flight from Thailand to China and called them hoping they could help me change the two connecting flights after my missed flight and to figure out what to do. I was on the phone for over two hours and talked to a total of three representatives; one of which was rude and unprofessional while the other two gave me no direction or help at all. All three of them told me that it was 'out of their hands' and they couldn't do anything to help me and that I needed to contact the airlines. Airlines are not allowed to make any changes to passenger's tickets if they booked it through a site like Priceline so this was false. It was frustrating, unhelpful, and I ended up buying brand new (very expensive tickets) because it was better than working with Priceline.
THE WORST PART: The worst part of this whole situation is that my sister booked (and missed) our same first flight to China. She booked the EXACT same tickets through Flight Network and within 30 minutes Flight Network had contacted all of the flight companies and had rescheduled all three of our flights for the following day for under $400. So I knew that their hands were not tied and it was possible to reschedule all of the flights. They just didn't want to. Bottom line: I will never use Priceline again and would not recommend using them if you'd like something reliable or a decent customer service team if something happens with your flights.

I have used Priceline and other similar sites for travel for many years. I have never experienced the sort of gross misrepresentation before that I did this last time with Priceline. I chose a rental car company (Sixt) because it supposedly had an office at the airport (FLL). It did not; there was not even a sign. I had to call the company from the airport to find the location of their shuttle bus stop. This delayed my arrival at the hotel. When I complained to Priceline, they said it's the fault of the rental car company. For the same trip I reserved a room with "a direct ocean view" and "private balcony" at the Beachcomber in Pompano Beach. I received a room with neither.
My room looked out at a condo complex and the balcony was anything but private and required a deadbolt lock on the door for security. When I complained to Priceline, they said the hotel told them I was given the proper room. This is gross misrepresentation on the part of Priceline in both instances as well as the resort. Ultimately Priceline is responsible for the veracity of their listings and it is very clear they could not care less. I would have paid up for a rental car company in the airport and would not have paid up for the poor room I received at the Beachcomber.

I’m not one to complain about customer service. I don’t even send my order back when it is wrong at a restaurant, and I still tip. This is going to be my first negative review. Priceline should not show rooms available for overbooked hotels. When you do, and there are absolutely no rooms with the same star rating available anywhere within a 45 mile radius of the original location, you should be able to get a room more than half of a star better. Priceline does not allow upgrades more than half of a star. It took us well over an hour on the phone with a Priceline customer service rep, Reuben, and supervisor to get re-booked.
The worst part is that the supervisor, Mario, told us there was nothing he could do except refund us what we paid plus 20%, because he could not find any available rooms except one that was two and a half hours away. We found a room on Priceline that was only 30 minutes away, but he said that he had called and it didn’t exist. I called from a different phone, and the lady said she had plenty rooms. My family of four, wife, 17-year-old son, 13-year-old daughter, two chihuahuas, and myself were forced to vacate our rental property due to a black mold infestation. We had 15 minutes to grab clothing only, around 48 hours ago after being informed by the inspector of the mold issue. What a chaotic morning that resulted in the two male Chihuahuas spending two nights at the boarding facility, my two teenagers at their grandmother's, and my wife and I at a local hotel. For a family that spends a lot of "family time" together, separation at three different places ensures that all members suffer from severe cases of insecurity... After being separated for two days, my wife and I needed to be with our teens; the idea was proposed to search for a decent rate to move the two young people to a room at the hotel we currently call home.
My teens were so excited, even though we could not really afford to secure a second room for the kids, we agreed that we needed to be together. I opened Priceline.com at around 1030 PM to search for a last-minute discounted rate that would work. We found it!!! A fantastic nightly rate to relieve the family's separation anxiety; I booked the room. As soon as the funds were withdrawn off my debit card, the call was made to the kids that we were on the way. Some time had passed and the teenagers were at the hotel, anxious to get the keys to their newly purchased place of relaxation. It had been almost an hour since the funds were withdrawn from the debit card by Paypal and there was still no confirmation email containing itinerary for the stay; Paypal was the service that is supposed to guarantee the transaction.
In this case, I have a Paypal account with multiple payment methods attached to ensure convenience in these situations. It is now 3 hours later and my wife and kids are upset and disappointed after realizing that the room, which was such a source of joy a couple of hours ago, was not a possibility. I have spent the better portion of the last hour and a half contacting PayPal, Priceline, while constantly checking in with the desk of the hotel, for status updates. I understand the position the hotel is in, they also entrust a portion of their business structure to third-parties like Priceline and PayPal. Priceline offers access to the hotel's product, while PayPal is connected solely within the e-commerce side.
As I mentioned previously, my family budget had little flexibility and this second room expense would be difficult. I had 109.00 in my account when initiating this mess of a business transaction. After completing the chosen hotel option, PayPal immediately deducted 70.00 from our bank account and provided a receipt confirming where the funds were being paid. Priceline claims that yes, they initiated an authorization for that amount, but received a response from PayPal that stopped the finalization of the transaction. So, I look around the hotel room that my spouse and I were residing, struggling to find a single open spot to sit down. PayPal provided a generic message regarding their hours of availability when attempting to resolve the issue. Priceline is pointing fingers at PayPal and the hotel is resolute in their stance on the matter.
As a father of two teenagers, displaced from our home, without access to most of our belongings... What can I do to fix this?? The answer is nothing!!! Our funds are held up by a company that is closed until 9 AM, seven full hours from now. Throughout this whole miserable experience, do you think that any of the three business entities involved, offered even a pencil to try and make our experience anything, but a tragedy? NO!!! What happened to guest satisfaction and companies going the extra mile to earn and reserve the business loyalty of a "regular" customer? Aside from this, what happened to the golden rule? I know that my parents taught their children how to treat others.
I worked in the service industry for many years within a company that had constant success within every American city of the United States. As a server, I taught how to treat customers; there was rarely if ever a time that leaders of my company failed to exemplify the importance of a customer. I realize why companies like Darden Restaurants Inc.'s concept named The Olive Garden seems to grow while others struggle to maintain. I will close my PayPal accounts today and cut all ties to companies that fail to conduct business with professionalism.

All which I knew when making the booking. Well, on Friday evening around 6:30 I received a call from Priceline informing me that my reservation would not be honored and that I needed to find other arrangements. Considering this was a very busy weekend in Nashville the closest hotel was 35-40 minutes away which was unacceptable. I then contacted Priceline and spent an unreasonable amount of time on their chat line and later on the phone, trying to convince them that they needed to stand by their guarantee to provide the described amenities. They offered to cancel my reservation or provide 20% off. This was not acceptable.
By this point, I had already purchased tickets for an NHL Game and did not want to risk canceling the hotel. The offer for 20% off the price I paid for the hotel would not even cover the cost of the parking, so this was also unacceptable. Very, very frustrating experience and extremely time-consuming. Finally, they agreed to reimburse the cost of the parking (after my stay), if I agreed to sending them a bunch of requested info (agent i.d., booking i.d., parking receipt, an explanation of the situation, etc.). Who knows if I will ever see the parking refund. Moral of the story, don’t trust their Amenities Description and if you have an issue, Customer Service is unreasonable to work with. Spoke with Delta and they stated there is no charge for correcting the spelling of a name only if you are changing the actual passenger, so yes fraud on Priceline's part.

The worse company I have even seen or heard in my life - do not ever use it. I rented a car from them for my son and daughter in law, plane was defective and delayed several hours, they got to Baltimore about 4 hr late, at 12:05 am. Counter closed at 12 but the guy was still there, however he refused to give them the car, he said, "Now I go home", though my son pleaded with him. I called Priceline, they said that my son and daughter could "sleep in the airport until next day and then they get a car." I asked for a refund so we could rent a car from Hertz that was still open, they refused. We paid again, got a car from Hertz.
I called Priceline next day for a refund since we never got the car and we paid Hertz. The lady refused, I talked to a manager, she said she will investigate and if the plane was late and we never took the car I will get reimbursed. Though I had the proof that we never got the car, that reservation was canceled, we did not pick up the car, yet I never got reimbursed. I called them uncounted times, they were rude and refused to reimburse the amount. Absolutely terrible customer service, they do not care for customers.

When I checked into hotel, I received a standard room which would only accommodate 4 people. I paid more on the Priceline site for the family suite which I did not receive. Customer service at Priceline was horrible and made no apology nor did they offer any solution. Priceline suggested that I make arrangements with the hotel for a larger room. The hotel offered a larger room for an upcharge of $20-30/night. I could have booked directly on the hotel site for this additional fee from the start but chose Priceline to get a better deal. I hate writing bad reviews, but I feel people should be aware what a negative experience business with Priceline is. Consistently. I'm traveling to upstate NY with my boyfriend and offered to make the reservation for a rental car while we are there. I wanted to pay with my credit card, but since its his hometown he would be driving. When I made the reservation, Priceline's website said that the driver name has to match the name on the credit card. So, following their instructions, I put in my name and figured I could work with the rental car company or Priceline to ensure the correct driver was on the reservation when it came time to use the car.
I called Hertz and they said they were unable to change the reservation because I booked through Priceline. So I called Priceline and they said because I booked a reservation where I paid in advance it was non-changeable and I could not make any updates to my reservation, even a name change. Their only solutions were 1) Add a driver through Hertz at the counter even though only one of us intended to drive (and this would cost us nearly $150 more for our trip) or 2) pay $34 to cancel this reservation and book a new one, which reservations were now more expensive to rebook. They refused to acknowledge that their poor instructions forced me to put my name in the reservation and would do nothing to help resolve the issue. I cancelled the reservation and booked through Orbitz, which still cost more but Priceline will never get another dime from me.
I should have known better after my sister and I had a poor experience with Priceline when we booked a trip to Bali several months ago. Our airline cancelled the flight but because we booked through Priceline, they notified Priceline of the change. Priceline was supposed to notify us of the flight cancellation and help us rebook something else. Priceline never told us our flight was cancelled and we only found out in happenstance 10 days before our trip when my sister called to add our known traveler ID info to the reservation and they told us the flight no longer existed (and hadn't for over a month!). We were left scrambling to find new flights that ended up costing almost twice as much booking so close to our trip.
After several calls with the airline and Priceline, we were able to confirm that Priceline was aware the entire time our flight was cancelled but they never told us, because they were hoping they could find another airline to rebook rather than risk us cancelling the Priceline reservation due to the cancelled flight. Their delay cost us a lot of money in finding replacement flights, and had my sister not called, who knows if or when they would have notified us of the flight cancellation. Priceline consistently puts their customers in a bad position, forces you to spend more money to correct their mistakes, and does nothing to help you when you are in need of their assistance. Fool me twice, shame on me. Lesson learned. I will NEVER use Priceline again.

First let me say that I was an avid Priceline customer however my daughter and I booked a 3 star hotel in Paris for 5 nights. I could have lived with the lampshades held together by scotch tape, stained carpets and tattered curtains, but NOT with the front desk handing out room keys to anyone who asked. We were asked to leave our room key at the desk whenever we left the hotel. When we returned there was always a new person at the desk (one we hadn't seen before), we simply asked for room 34 and they handed us the key. Never asked for identification or even our last name.
On the second night, there wasn't anyone at the desk and we leaned over and got the key ourselves. I travel a lot and have never felt so unsafe in a hotel before. We left after two nights, went to another hotel and asked Priceline to refund the remainder of our stay. They will not. Had to cut our trip short due to Hurricane Lane. Came home and was shocked to see a $1,500 charged on our account from them. We were told the flight change was free due to the weather. Even United Airlines waived all fees to get people out of Hawaii.
Called Priceline and they couldn’t find that $1,500 charge on my account anywhere. They blamed our credit card. They told us they couldn’t refund because they didn’t charge. So we filed a dispute with our credit card and guess what? Priceline is fighting the charge. Saying it was our Hawaii vacation. We paid over $3,500 for our vacation in full months ago (for 2 people). Somehow now they found the charge and still don’t know what it was for but they don’t want to refund us or agree with the chargeback. I swear if I could give them a -10000 stars, I would. They’re a nightmare. I’m planning on calling BBB and the Attorney General on them. It has been over a month and we’re still dealing with this.

In short, Priceline is selling cheap Light-class tickets to customers as if they were Economy-class tickets without telling the truth. Below is the true story: I recently booked the so-call ECONOMY class tickets for my family on Priceline, one with Alitalia and the other with Air France, which were actually all LIGHT class. Therefore, I had to pay additional and unexpected baggage fees at the airports. Below is the baggage policy listed by Priceline about Air France and Alitalia: **. And below is the baggage policy listed by the official websites of Air France and Alitalia: **.
So LIGHT is a category of ECONOMY class according to Air France, while LIGHT is a different one other than ECONOMY according to Alitalia. And you need to pay additional fees for check-in baggages if you have a LIGHT-class ticket. But in NONE of the email confirmations I received from Priceline there is a word LIGHT. Relying on previous experience with Priceline's 24-hour cancellation policy, I decided to try and save $20 by booking an express deal. It appeared I had to book it to see what time it departed. I ended up with a booking to go see my dying father-in-law at a time of day that would have required my husband to take an extra vacation day. And all customer service could say on the first call was, "I'm sorry, you've booked a non-refundable flight." I'm glad they record their conversations so IF anyone CARES they will hear how utterly disgusted I am with how unclear the web process is about this, and the deep certainty in my voice when I told them this experience means I will NEVER use Priceline again.
Shortly there was a message to call them back... so I did. After being shamed for not knowing that express deals were nonrefundable, I was finally allowed to cancel the booking for a $15 fee. Which I did. Okay, customer "service" there was probably something in small print somewhere so you're *legally* correct, I'm sure. But I got no points for not flying frequently and not immediately knowing these things.
The rep was so short with me and implied I was the problem for being upset (apparently I interrupted her while she was trying to charge me $15 to "help" me), that I actually went back to the website to see if my distress over my father-in-law's illness had led me to miss something obvious. NOT! Even if you scroll down the page, there is NOTHING about what you are clicking toward being non-refundable. This is FAR from consumer-friendly. I just spend 1 hour 17 minutes on the phone with Priceline customer service, spoke to Jane CR **; Claire supervisor ** and no one could explain what is included in $35 fees and why $20.50 additional fee was not on the main line of extra charges in my reservation. Very bad experience.
When I was returning the car, during very heavy rainstorm, to my surprise on the Firefly door sign said, "Go to Hertz." I did, returned my car there, asked why I had a such a old beat up 2 cars, the answer, was, "Those cars from Hertz which were no longer used by Hertz due to damage and mileage". So if you want a car which does not run, please rent from Firefly! Terrible experience. Priceline has a worst customer service. Reservation number ** for Firefly in Grand Caymans. Sep 3-10 2018.

I’m not sure how Priceline is still around!!! They are the worst!! I booked an all inclusive trip for 2, 2 flights round trip to Jamaica and 2 all inclusive guest in one hotel room well in advance of our trip and paid in full. A week before my travel I call the resort directly to confirm everything. They had our reservation but listed as one all inclusive adult staying not 2. I called Priceline and they said that is how it was booked for on one all inclusive guest. And it was a reservation that could not be changed. Why would 2 people fly to Jamaica and only one stay in the room. I said, "Ok. Well can you just add one more person to the room." They said my reservation could not be changed at all. They said I had to book another room for 2 all inclusive. But I could not cancel my other so I would be charged for the original reservation that they messed up on AND then also pay for another with the two!!! Are you kidding me.
I spent hours on the phone with them and their “management” telling me that they could book another room for one person AT MY EXPENSE and then we would have two room and two all inclusive and then just pick which room we wanted to stay in but the charges would be on separate rooms. ARE YOU KIDDING ME. All the way up until the DAY I left I was on the phone with them.
FINALLY they booked us another room for two all inclusive adults but said I would have to front the cost of the new room reservation and then they would refund me after the trip. I said, "ABSOLUTELY not. You will rebook the room for two and not charge me extra. Our whole trip was already paid in full." I was not paying an extra anything for their mistake. After talking to multiple managers they finally booked the new room with no extra charge and canceled our other room. Which they should have done from the first call I made. Advice to Priceline. Admit when you mess up and just take care of it. I would give them zero stars but it would not let me! DON’T EVER USE PRICELINE...EVER!!! They are the absolute worst!!!

Hi, I am writing to express my disappointment in Priceline and their customer service. I booked a flight from Lisbon to Mykonos to leave at 12:35 am on Friday 9/14. I mistakenly thought it left Friday night at 12:35 am. I never received a check in reminder from Priceline to check in. Had I received an email to check in, I would have realized my mistake and been able to catch my flight. Priceline did nothing to help me and said the reason I didn’t receive an email to check in “was maybe because of a glitch in the system.” I had to spend another $300 to book a new flight tonight (I did not book through Priceline). I have flown hundreds of times for business and pleasure and have always received a check in reminder from the multiple airlines I have flown... including when I’ve booked through a 3rd party, like Kayak.
The customer service reasoning of not being able to help refund or find me a new flight was simply “it's a rule and the contract says.” I get what a contract says... but I felt like I was talking to a machine and not a real person who can empathize with my disappointment in missing my flight. It was an honest mistake on my part for which I take blame, but had I received a reminder email to check in I would not have missed it. I will not give my business to Priceline in the future and will make sure my friends and family know of the disappointing outcome and customer service I had today from Priceline.

Good Day robots working at the Priceline customer service, I wanted to personally reach out to you and thank you for cheating yet another customer out of their money. I hope you get to sleep like a baby after a long hard day of scamming people. Me and my husband has tried calling you several time for the last two months literally begging to change our travel dates if the trip can't be canceled due to a family emergency. However, since we have robots working at Priceline and not actual human beings who can try to understand another person's situation, we were simply told no.
Just yesterday, my husband called Priceline many times asking them if we can move our travel dates as we cannot travel on the dates we chose initially because of family emergency, and my husband even told the representative that we are willing to pay the price difference if there will be any to move the travel dates, but the representative just said plain no.
For someone who works in customer service industry, even I know that sometimes a person has a situation which is completely out of their control and every single company in this world can make at least a one time exception for the customer if they try to understand the customer's situation. But sadly Priceline is not one of those companies.
Me and my husband have no choice but to take the loss on the money we spent to book our trip and just not show up for our flight and hotel reservation because Priceline has refused to help us many times. This is the point where I just wash my hands off of such disgusting business who can't even understand another human being's situation. I rather spend more money and book directly with hotels and airlines than to go through the hell that Priceline has put me and my husband through. So Priceline thank you so much for this amazing experience and teaching me a good lesson to not ever book anything through you ever again.

I was notified by Priceline they saw I had car reservation and would have to cancel it with Sixt Car Rental. I recently booked a trip with Priceline. There was no issues booking the trip. Within a couple of days I received notification that the flight had changed. This happened several times over the following week. However, when I checked on the changes, I couldn't find any. This is because their system does not update to reflect the changes to the customer. I was 2 weeks out from my trip and checked on my reservations. My flight had in fact changed. The return trip had a 14 hour layover!!! I didn't know who to call to change it, so I spoke with the chat. They gave me a number to call. This took over an hour to change my flight. Priceline had to call the airline directly. I could not call the airline directly, because Priceline "possessed" the tickets.
Again, I received notification the flight had changed 2 days before my trip. It changed back to my original flight change of a 14 hour layover. I called them and it took another hour and a half on the phone for them to tell me that the flight in fact did not change. Currently, I have been on the phone for another 2 hours waiting. My flight was cancelled last minute. I finally got through to a Priceline agent after waiting 35 minutes in the queue. She put me on hold to check on my flight and hung up on me. I called back. Waited another 25 minutes to speak to a representative. He told me he could not help me because Priceline no longer had control of the tickets (it is past midnight the day of the flight).
I asked to speak with his manager, due to the fact that I was hung up on. He put me back in a queue. In the meantime, my husband called the airline. He put me on a callback waiting list. I received that phone call, before I could talk to a manager. Still waiting in the queue!!! On top of it all, while I have been on hold all this time, I tried to speak with the chat representatives. They will not help you! They will only give you a scripted line and give you the phone number that will put you on hold. I asked to speak with their manager. I was never given a manager to speak with.

I needed a budget hotel to stay for 2 day work commitment in the Tustin/Santa Ana area. I'm from San Diego. I didn't want to be driving back and forth if I could stay in the area and my work wasn't going to be paying for this hotel room. Made the mistake of going on Priceline.com a getting hooked and falling for their "2 Star Hotel" for $42.00 with bed and basic necessities from their family of hotels, all big named budget hotels that I heard of. Sounds great right. Wrong. Apparently being in a safe area wasn't necessary to be considered a 2-star hotel on Priceline. I just needed someplace to sleep in and feel safe that my car wasn't going to be stolen. I didn't need anything like room service, etc.
Once I paid, (I opted not to get their $10.00 coverage. My fault, could have gotten a refund and save this hassle), my hotel showed up as not one of the chain budget hotels advertised. It was the Keys Inn & Suites in Tustin. It wasn't even a chain budget hotel. It's located in a known hot spot of crime (drugs, prostitution, etc). Being a single female and traveling solo, I did not feel comfortable or safe staying at this hotel for all the known crime that occurs in this area and at the hotel. I took the $104.00 loss for the 2-night reservation instead of risking my safety and drove the 2 hours home to San Diego that I was hoping to avoid by booking in this "2-star hotel room" to begin with.
Shame on Priceline for advertising their mystery "2-star hotel" as one of the budget chain hotels when it's not. Priceline says that they can't and the hotel won't let them disclose the name of the hotel until you book because the prices are so low and basically take a gamble whether to get the $10 coverage if you need to cancel the reservation (I lose that bet). The hotel name doesn't get disclosed the hotel because no one in their right minds would stay in this drug infested hotel/motel.

Bought air tickets for international flight with a 13-hour layover in Riyadh. However, Priceline never mentioned that a tourist visa is required for that ticket in Riyad since the layover was more than 12 hours. (CheapOair clearly discloses it when you buy the ticket). We found out a week before from airline that they won't issue us ticket without a VISA even though we won't get out of the airport. Called Priceline, and they said, they are not responsible for letting us know about VISA requirements.
When we had to change the tickets with layover less than 12 hours, Priceline charged us $250 for each ticket. However, days later still didn't get any confirmation on the change of tickets. Called Priceline and were told that we have to call the airline directly to get the confirmation. I told them, "You are the agent, I paid you for the change of tickets and why do I have to call Saudia for confirmation." This is just a synopsis of a week-long painful hassle. I would NEVER RECOMMEND using Priceline to anyone. We were coming down to Va Beach and booked a hotel through Priceline. When we got the confirmation of our stay it was scheduled for the wrong day. So we reached out to Priceline and they said they would reach out to the hotel and see if the hotel was willing to change they day to the one we had interned or cancel the booking. They then told me the hotel was not willing to work with us. So I called the hotel myself and when I spoke with them they told me they would move my stay to another night where the price would be similar to what I paid. This wasn't ideal but at least then I wasn't paying for a room I would never get to use. So in order to change the day the hotel said I needed to have Priceline call back to talk to the hotel again.
So I call Priceline and they refuse to call the hotel they kept saying they already called and wouldn't do it again. I explained to them that I had spoken to the hotel and they said they would be willing to move it if they would call but they refused. She kept saying over and over "Unfortunately we wont be able to give you a refund today" like she was reading from a script. I explained I wasn't asking for a refund but for them to simply move the day and that the hotel said they would. At which point she HUNG UP on me! It was honestly the worst customer service I had ever experienced. 100 dollars gone when it probably could have been resolved.

We had planned this trip to Florida for Labor Day weekend almost 2 months ago. Since we are from Wisconsin. We had to consider lot of things like price, distance and free time. For this trip, we had booked everything well in advance, Rooms, rental car, theme park tickets and places to visit. The plan seemed to be perfect. But there was a shocking surprise waiting for us from Priceline.
We were 2 families with 4 kids. We flew to Orlando on Thursday night. As it was late night flight, we had booked rooms close to airport through Priceline. The flight was on time, in fact it landed 30 minutes early. We rented the mini van, so that we all can travel together and kids can have fun. When we reached hotel, it was around 12 o'clock at night. We were all tired and just wanted to hit the bed, but Priceline had a different plan for us. There was only one room (we had booked two rooms). The amount deducted was for 2 rooms but only 1 room was reserved for us. We spoke with the hotel staff, but they told they have only one reservation under my name and they are full for the night.
I handed over, one room to my friend since they have small kid and had some challenges. At the same time, we were also on phone with Priceline customer service requesting them to get a room for us. It took around 15 mins to make them understand the problem, after that they were told they will check with hotel. It was midnight 2 o'clock, they were putting us on long holds and told they will call back twice, which they never did. We had to call them back both the times. It's midnight, we don’t have a place to sleep even after booking well in advance and paying for it. It's a unknown city with high crime rate. They had kept us on hold for nearly 90 mins without any directions. My phone charge was getting over, I was not aware of the place and with 4 years kid it was nightmare.
We tried to put our kid to sleep, but he didn't get proper sleep and was crying all the time. We were so tired after a long day. They never tried to understand our situation. All they were saying is they will call back. Another 2-3 hrs sun will rise. As it was long weekend, most of the hotels were booked. Even we could not take help of online, as it was over 12:00 AM, check in time will be 3:00 PM. We didn't get a room for almost whole night. We were on road literally. Finally, around 4am we got a room at Renaissance hotel after paying a hefty amount just for few hours. By the time we slept, it was 5am in the morning.
It was the first day of our trip; we had Disney tickets booked for which my son waited for almost year. We were supposed to be there by 9am which we couldn't. We went late around 2:00 PM and there were long lines for every ride as it was long weekend. We were not at all able to enjoy anything. My son was also cranky as he didn't get proper sleep. He was soo excited about Disney, he would tell everyone we met that we are going to Disneyworld. He was very disappointed. In fact we all were. The Priceline screwed up our entire trip. This trip made me look like fool in front of other family. They felt we did not plan correctly, which was not the case at all. Hotel Request Number **.

So, four days later, no luck, completely jerked around by the Priceline chat line each day. I ended up asking for the phone number for the hotel, they gave me that as they said they had called three times. All rubbish, the number was for the central booking not the hotel.
I left a message for the hotel manager with my name, phone and email two days ago. Of course no reply, thanks Mr ** if that's your real name. Maybe losing $98 is worth it to be rid of Priceline. Last year I booked a three day stay in Westin, Florida, under a five star rating, their name your price program. I bumped the price up and ended up with the Bonaventure Resort. Five Stars... right. A real dump, dirty, old, maybe a Three Star if you squint. I called them back after I read the terrible reviews to complain that this hotel had horrid reviews and in no way could be a five star. Complaint - Priceline - buyer beware! Priceline hotel shoppers beware. I have used Priceline, on numerous occasions for my business hotel stays. Only this weekend did I realized the genesis of the consistently poor customer service and poor attitudes among the hoteliers staff. This weekend, August 26, 2018, after a very frustrating, underequipped, underknowledge, check-in process I later requested an iron to pressed my starched dress shirts. The front desk person, indicated that I did not have the premium package and I was not entitled to that service. This is the first time, I had heard of that service to receive an iron.
Two days later, after coming from the office, I noticed the bed was not made, I had no towels, clean or otherwise, no new soap and the trash that I previously put into the bare receptacle was sitting on the desk. That was so, a clean trash liner could be placed in the receptacle. I phoned the front desk and was informed the online Priceline package, did not include daily maid service. I was so surprised. A first for me, so I complained to Priceline and to my surprise they did not walk away from any of those negotiated claims. My position that was communicated, is these disclosures should be made to the buyer BEFORE their purchase. Nevertheless these disclosures to the customer did not exist in their online ads. If a traveler needs to travel with an iron, their soap and towels, please STATE THAT.
All Priceline’s representative did was to offer me any apology. That is pathetic!! I’m a thousands miles away from home, doing business for weeks and I cannot count on reasonably hotel accommodations and customer service. This hotel is Priceline’s “3 star” Red Roof Inn, in New Britain Connecticut. With the premium fees and taxes that Priceline charges, we may do better in contacting hotels directly, if we need to pay for the “extras” anyway! Shame on you Priceline, you need to do better! Shame on you hoteliers, train your people better and if you cannot provide reasonable customer service, don’t take the Priceline deal. I have the transcript of my Priceline conversation if needed!!!

I placed the order and the page told me "Sorry an error occurred" but yet got two email confirmations that the order went through. After I called them they said the order went through. I asked them to just cancel everything and I would do it again because I felt unsure about everything going though. They said that it is not possible because that the term and conditions said I couldn't cancel that trip. I told them that that is not what they advertised and they just said sorry. I told them to at least cancel the car because my friend offered to pick me up from the airport so I didn't need a car and they said they couldn't. Such a rip off. Stay away from them.

I call Priceline back to speak to a manager since I am being given the runaround. I wait 25 minutes and someone picks up but says nothing. I say hello a few times and no reply. They disconnect. I call back and put on hold for another 15 minutes before I finally hang up in frustration. Their automated system lists that they have an amazing customer service team. Really? The resort called me to tell me they are closed on that date due to heavy monsoon rain damage and that I needed to contact Priceline to get a refund. For 2.5 hours I tried unsuccessfully to get through to either Priceline or Agoda. The phone recordings kept directing me to their website to manage my booking. When I typed in the booking number of the confirmation they emailed me, it said I had no bookings. Yet, they charged my credit card in advance $240.00 for the room.
It was a vicious circle online as well as the phone. After going through every option on both Priceline and Agoda's phone systems, I finally got to a point where the voice would say "a customer service rep will be with you shortly". Then sit on hold with hold music that sounded like a vinyl record skipping until the voice says "Thank you for choosing Priceline, goodbye!" Next I tried their chat online. No success. I clicked the "Chat now" button and nothing!!! Nothing!!! I finally out of frustration called my credit card company and disputed the charge.

I called Priceline and sat on phone with 4 different people that barely spoke any English for nearly 2 hours. There was a huge language barrier.
I had used Priceline before and never had an issue. This was a nightmare. They were totally clueless. They finally agreed to escalate it after I pointed out this website and called them scammers. I also warned my bank about them and they were fully prepare to fight the charges. I have to wait 5-7 days to find out if I get my money back from them. Save yourself the trouble and use just about anything else that’s available out there. This website is the worst thing and their customer service department is completely inadequate. Don’t bother calling them if you run into any trouble because they’ll just basically tell you in a condescending customer service tone, “tough luck.” They’ll send you on a never-ending phone quest to contact the hotel, to whichever the hotel will tell you to call Priceline. It’s a scam. Don’t use their filter to track down a hotel. We did that and paid the price. We tried to filter out hotels that will accommodate our dog, but the list they gave us had options that were clearly not what we filtered. Unknowingly, we booked a hotel that was not pet-friendly and instead of coming up with a solution since we are on a tight budget, they just said, “Whoops, tough luck.” So now we’re out $120 and with no place to stay. Looks like we’ll be sleeping in the car. Thanks Priceline.

We just got back from a trip to Calgary, Canada. The trip to Calgary was great but the experience with Priceline was horrible. Priceline used to be a good company who cared about their customers. All that has changed. Priceline advertised that this Hotel we booked only had "two rooms left" and we thought that they offered the lowest rates available. We also thought they would "price match" if we found a lower rate. We found a lower rate at the Hotel after we checked in, about $120.00 less. Priceline also lowered its rate on their website right after we booked the "last two rooms". Not only we could have saved about $120.00 by booking directly with the Hotel, but we also learned that the hotel had over 60 rooms available.
We immediately contacted Priceline to request a "price match" but were told they couldn't do that. We asked why Priceline was advertising "only two rooms left" and the representative said that was a common practice and agreed that it amounted to false advertising. I will never use Priceline again. After specifying an adequate bid, I was accepted to the lowest end of their spectrum in category, Hilton Orlando-Bonnet Creek Resort. A bit disappointed, I immediately looked at the hotel on their site and found that this hotel had an offer that equated to $100 less than what my bid was accepted for. Needless to say, this is an unethical and deceptive practice that is programmed to steal from its customers rather than either immediately matching the price, or finding a better hotel where they can still stay in the green. Profit over Patron is what their actions show. When I called, "all they could do" was refund the difference, but not cancel the booking; it's like I was raped, but provided some change for an Uber back home.
To further their deplorable ethics, the follow-up customer service survey is only one question, "How was the customer service"? Being treated fine by the representative, so I put "good", and was ready for the question to delineate the dissatisfaction in disposition of the case; nope, no chance to do so. So what that feedback will reflect in 1 answer was that I was satisfied with the entire experience, which is definitely not accurate to what transpired. I can't tell anyone what to do, but I highly urge you to use another travel company that will value and respect you and your business. Was unable to travel on the date of pick up due to a change in my interstate moving company. Attempted to cancel reservation through Priceline and was told my type of reservation for $200 was totally nonrefundable and non-transferrable. So Priceline is charging me the full amount even though I will not be picking up the car. I could understand a penalty fee but the full amount? They are also charging me $75 for a rebooking of a ticket that cost $102. So to Priceline is taking $275 for a car and a ticket that I will not use.
Priceline is a scam. Not worth the couple of dollar savings Priceline offers. Had I booked directly with Hertz, a call to cancel the reservations would have cost me nothing. A call to JetBlue would have cost me $25. NEVER USE PRICELINE again. Contacting my State Consumer Affairs to file a consumer report, despite their policy. There was a line on the receipt sent for the booking which stated "Free cancellation until pickup". They now say that has to do only with insurance protection.
This is just how Priceline makes their money and why regulations for scams are needed. They offer a bit of savings on car rental, flights and hotels; charge credit card date of reservation knowing a certain percentage of reservations will cancel. The amount charged to our credit cards, totally nonrefundable, is sheer profit for Priceline. Please just be VERY aware if using Priceline that it is a SCAM! Have read numerous reviews stating same concerns with their reservations. Save yourself the grief that other victims of Priceline have endured. Go directly to rental companies, hotels and airlines. After booking, I received several emails about payment that would be due and when I would have to pay them. The cruise deposit was due on 7/24/18 and the remainder was due by 08/03/18. The debit card that I originally booked the cruise with was deactivated because of fraudulent activity and I was waiting on my new debit card to come in the mail. I arrived at the hotel only to find that I had been talking to “Priceline” in Thailand and had been scammed! The hotel rate was $113. My bank card had already been charged but the hotel only received authorization for a $50 payment. Criminal!! Help stop these abuses!! I would be liable for double charges!! DO NOT USE PRICELINE. They are also linked to EXPEDIA and others. Word of advice. Go to yellow pages. Get local hotel number and call directly.

After accidentally booking a hotel through Priceline.com. Everything went downhill from there. They added over $40 to my quoted rate and stated that it as booking fees. They get away with this by telling you the standard hotel rate and booking and then not sending you a folio receipt. When you try to get a receipt you get a Huge Run Around, No- Human can help and they keep sending you back to the POS website that will only give you your booking info, No final price until you see it on your credit card bill. I called to inquire about the elevated price additions and was on hold for 22 minutes. When the non-English speaking person finally picked up, I was told that all I can do is go to their website which like I said will only show the booking. Horrible Company that should be bankrupt by now. My next letters will be to the BBB and Attorney General. No-One should get Screwed like this.

I needed to stay in a hotel room for the night in Northern Florida, booked a room on Priceline which they charged me $61.97, and when I got to the hotel presented my card they only charged me $47.46?! So I called the hotel which they are suppose to credit my account as I am still waiting for but I also called Priceline to find out why I'm being charged a $14.51 difference, they repeated to me by both woman that it's a profit that the company makes. Really?? I get that but why on earth would you tell the customer that!?! I asked for a refund in the difference and they have no way of doing that!!! I will never use Priceline again, I will call the hotel first before I ever book a room as I have no clue who is scamming off me!! It's all a lie that you can get a better price!! Shame on you Priceline for scamming off the people who make you billions!!

I booked a car from Priceline in Israel. The FINAL price given to me from Priceline was $189. When I went to pick up my car, there is apparently a long standing issue - where Priceline DOES NOT tell the actual price. The laws in that country demand liability insurance... And the collision was optional (I had documentation from my credit card company saying I was covered). It ended up costing over $300 to get the car that Priceline said would cost me $188. NEVER AGAIN!!!

DO NOT BOOK WITH PRICELINE. This is the second time I have this issue! When booking a hotel room, there are policies from certain hotels that aren’t explicitly described to the customer upon booking which makes it so that, if you make any mistake while trying to find a room in the evening, you will have no room to make any alterations or request a refund with the company. You will have to call Priceline who will then call the hotel and you will find yourself helpless between hotels saying it is on Priceline to help you and Priceline saying it is on the hotel.

I booked a room at the Ramada Inn by Wyndham Rockville Centre, NY via Priceline check in 7/18-7/24th. Priceline gave it 4 stars. I got to hotel and had to go to 4 rooms before finally contacting Priceline to tell them I want my money back and I will book elsewhere. Hotel was less than one star. I work front desk at one so I know hotels. Priceline contacted hotel and was able to get me a refund for all nights but one. I was forced to stay one night but did not feel safe and checked out really early next morning after booking another hotel. I loved the other hotel.
Contacted Priceline about getting me a refund for first night since I was fearful. They sent me an email telling me their reviews are accurate and that basically choosing to stay there was my idea. They contacted hotel and hotel refused to refund my first night. I will be contacting my cc company to dispute charge which I explained to Priceline and they were not very nice about it. I have used them in the past with no issues. This time I had an issue that will cause me to rethink ever booking with a third party again. People who use third parties, beware. We know how bad Expedia and all their partners can be. Thought Priceline was different, guess not.

I searched for a hotel booking. Search criteria included 2 adults and 3 kids. Long story short - The results I got from Priceline mentioned again that I'm 5 people and stated that the rooms are good for me. I booked the room for 2 nights totaling 700$+-. A week out, I called the hotel to double check that all is good. Guess what? The room is only good for 4 from a legal aspect. This is irritating as Priceline doesn't have any problem to push you into a room that will not be comfortable and even illegal - just to make another $$.
When I called customer service, I got a rep that doesn't speak English (Which would have been fine if she would have helped me). But the response I got was - "You can cancel the reservation - it's ok" - "WOW - Thanks, I'm so lucky that you are allowing me to cancel a faulty and misleading reservation - LOL". And the bottom line is - I am back to hotel search with no assistance from Priceline. So be careful when you book and make sure that Priceline - They have no problem doing wrong and misleading. I travel a lot and I used to like Priceline - but guess what - I'm done with them, they don't deserve my business.

I booked an Express deal hotel for Arlington, VA for August 2018. I made sure I checked all the amenities that I needed because there are no refunds for Express Deal, which I fully understand. I made sure I put in the filters for free parking, pet allowed, and extra guests. After I did all of this I scrolled down to a choice not knowing what Hotel I would be given but I was satisfied with knowing my filters and price will be accommodated. After I paid the hotel was chosen for me. I contacted the hotel to ensure they accommodated all I needed. Then I was informed they don't allow pets, parking is $25 daily, and you have to pay for an extra guest. I called Priceline and the representative stated that amenities are not guaranteed on Priceline and they are not offering a refund or assisting me with changing to a hotel to accommodate my needs.
I informed Priceline that this a false advertising on their site making people choose options they want and paying for it. Then a hotel is chosen for the person and the hotel does not have anything you requested and now you're stuck with still paying. I asked to speak with the supervisor and that was a waste of time. I contacted my credit card company and they are disputing the claim. I will never use Priceline again. Priceline is a ripoff and they do not accommodate people needs and their concerns. They belittle customers on the phone after they have taken your money and claim no refunds. I cannot afford to be wasting money on a hotel that does not accommodate my needs. Priceline YOU SUCK!!!

I am going to second the review of TahniMara of Cartersville, GA, a Verified Reviewer, who posted on July 25, 2018. I had the EXACT same experience. I have been using Priceline Express deals for a long time and have always been pretty happy, but now I feel absolutely deceived. And customer service was downright RUDE, stating their policies instead of trying to make it right.
I booked a "2.5" star hotel that everywhere else said it was 2 stars. After being on hold for a long time and being sent to two different departments, I was told that I was lying, essentially. That their system knew better than Google (or subsequent reviews did). I simply asked for a transfer to a TRUE 2.5 star, and they wouldn't do it. Instead, the second representative raised their voice and repeated their internal rating of 2.5 stars at me until the call abruptly ended.
I am so disappointed that they did not care about being dishonest, especially to a loyal customer. Never again. Please be careful when booking anything less than a 3 star through Priceline Express Deals, if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is! Don't trust the Priceline internal ratings and know that any call you make to customer service will be met with an absolute unwillingness to help you. Expect long wait times and to be transferred, with no solution in sight. Disappointed. So disappointed.

I've been a customer for several years. I've had occasional bumps but, by and large, have been satisfied until a recent experience. I was on a road trip and booked a room in Amarillo, TX at the Camelot Inn for 4$51. When I arrived in Amarillo, I came upon a large billboard for the hotel advertising a room at the same hotel for $30. Since I depended on Priceline to find the best price, I was rather upset to discover that they were no longer doing what they're advertising and promises say they will. I'd encourage everyone to consider other options than Priceline or their sister site, Booking.com before letting these dubious companies have access to your credit cards.
