I contacted Priceline to change my auto rental pickup time because I was running late. First I went through robot chat hell. Then I got a real person and had to answer all the same questions. After taking me through several questions and verifications I was told “no we can’t do that." Why all the run around! Plus, all I wanted to do was change the pick up time by a couple hours!!! I was told to use the app which is how I got here in the first place!! I finally found in 1point font on the app how to “modify” a reservation, but all it would allow me to do is rebook the entire thing!! And guess what? They have NO cars to rent! They didn’t even know what my request was!! OMG absolute inhuman HELL. DO NOT USE PRICELINE FOR ANYTHING.

I've been doing business with Priceline for a while. I've booked flights and hotels through them with minimal issues. This was first time I had to go through them to get a refund. On the weekend of my anniversary, the air conditioning went out in our room. It was literally 100 degrees with humidity in Savannah, GA. Of course we complained, and the manager offered us a 50% refund on one night. Cool. A few weeks later, I receive a call from the manager stating that the refund has to be initiated through Priceline. No problem. I used Priceline's text service, and all was going well...Until I had to go back to work. I was unable to respond to the message that the refund had been approved and that I needed to give my approval to cancel the reservation. I didn't respond in time and it was cancelled. So, I called...Why the hell did I do that?

The agent could barely speak English, and could barely understand what I was saying. When I explained that I had already spoken with someone and for her to check the notes, there were no notes. She instead went through the same process all over again - calling the manager, which I'm sure she was thinking I've already spoken with someone. Then I was told someone would call me back in 20 minutes, for which I still don't understand why. And as you guessed, no refund. Priceline - I'm sure you make enough money to hire better employees than this and I'm sure you can afford a system that notes the accounts so people don't have to be put through the ringer to get what they rightfully deserve. This tarnishes your reputation with me, and if I have to go through this to get a refund, I will think better of going through your site in the future.

I had made a flight arrangement through Price for July 1st. Then I called a Priceline agent to reschedule my flight a week later to July 8th. Was sent an itinerary with new flight. Got to the airport and there were no tickets available and was on the phone 4 hours and ended up not going on my flight as the agent said that it was their mistake and that I would be getting a full refund of $4000.00 (3400 for first tickets and 700 for rescheduling). Every time I call for my refund, I keep getting told that it has been escalated and under review. It's been 2 months and 9 phone calls and I still can't get my money back. It is very frustrating and I always thought Priceline was awesome until this experience. I would never do business with Priceline again as now I'm in a position where I have to pay off my credit card while they hold onto my money. Agents are also rude and don't let speak and are no help to the situation.

My boyfriend paid for a hotel stay at the W for my friends and I. We paid online with PRICELINE for a one day stay and went to the hotel to pay the deposit which is $500. Upon arrival to the hotel with my boyfriend we were told my boyfriend can’t pay for the room/deposit if he is not staying in the room. We informed them we have already been charged for the room online. They said they can’t take his down payment. None of us had a credit card so we had to cancel the room. PRICELINE did not give us a refund and kept our $400 for a one night stay. No refund was issued even when we tried speaking to the manager at PRICELINE. We were told by PRICELINE that whatever the manager at the hotel decides that by their policy they stand behind the manager's decision. NEVER using PRICELINE again. They are travel agent scammers stealing your money.

I recently purchased airline tickets as well as a car rental through Priceline. I had to cancel the car rental due to severe health issues. I had not realized that money had been taken out of my bank account without my authorization. I called the car rental company, Thrifty, and was told I needed to contact Priceline. I was treated more than poorly and was not given any options nor a refund. Priceline stole $330.26 from me and I am aghast. I am waiting for my bank to review this transaction. In the meantime, anyone reading this, please heed my advice and do not use this fraudulent company.

Booking through Priceline was a scam. I thought I booked on the hotel's website and turns out it was priceline. They make it look very similar to trick you into booking with them. Charged me 80$ more than hotel site and didn’t not see those extra charges until after you hit book. Then, to top it off - the room is non refundable. What a joke! Lost 80$ and would have lost 240$ if I couldn’t make it when booking on the hotel website was 180$ total and you can cancel. Don’t fall for these scams.

From cockroaches being in my hotel room, to the daily parking charge not being disclosed, to not having a shower curtain, then being offered a 15% future coupon as an apology/compensation… It was laughable. The WORST experience deserves a refund. You are a 3rd party company collecting money from the consumer regardless of an unacceptable experience… I will never use Priceline again. If you can offer 15%, you can offer 100%. Cockroaches are a different level of unsanitary disgust.

I book "fully refundable" fares with United Packages (i.e. Priceline) for a vacation package. A week prior to the trip, the weather in the destination city was bad, which prompted me to cancel my travel plans. To my surprise, my "fully refundable" fares required an exorbitant $250 cancellation fee (more than 50% of the price of the tickets). If I booked directly on the airline website, I would've had much more favourable fare rules. Never book with United Packages. The potential savings are not worth it.

09/03/2022. Booked a Super 8 in Rockford IL through Priceline. The hotel looked sketchy upon arrival but it was a long drive and we were exhausted. The room was said to be non-smoking but reeked of cigarettes so bad my daughter became ill on the few minutes we were in the room. There were cigarette burns on the bedspreads, carpet and all over the tub and bathroom floor. There were no towels or wash rags to be found and the chamber maid said they were all in the wash (this was at 5pm). The bathroom door had been kicked in and wouldn’t latch shut let alone lock and the wooden door trim was coming off the inside.

We immediately went to the front desk and asked for a refund and she said I had to get it from Priceline. After about 20min of Priceline’s automated customer service telling me none of my information could be found and unable to get to a human we tried to find another hotel to stay and everywhere we called was booked for the holiday weekend so we had to drive 40min to a hotel suggested by a family member. The next week I was able to find a number online that got me a human at Priceline and told them everything, they said all they could do is give me 15% off my next booking.

After several minutes of convincing the person to get me a supervisor he said he would have to get in touch with the hotel manager and it would be up to him to decide on giving Priceline their refund then they would refund me only if the hotel refunded them first otherwise I was out of luck. So it was basically a cat and mouse game between the two of them. Never again!

Worst ever possible experience with Priceline, I don't know why federal government allows this company to run in the US which cheats customers at all the moments. Let me cut-short on my explanation, I booked Courtyard Mariott from Priceline, and it was mentioned clearly in the detail this way "- Free Breakfast" in the list of offerings, but in the morning, I came down for breakfast, and the person in reception mentioned that my reservation doesn't include free breakfast. I called the Priceline customer service, they said it's not included in my itinerary and contract.

Is the "before reservation details" and "after reservation itinerary" supposed to be different? I called customer service, talked to the person called "supervisor", probably doesn't even have enough training to professionalism while dealing with dissatisfied customers, said that whatever I said is wrong, and whatever he is said is correct and I won't get free breakfast whatever was included in the description before booking, he mentioned "you may never book from priceline anymore, but can't do anything about it!". Is this the way would someone be treated from customer service when they want to claim what they deserve to get? Wasting my time to write is worthless, this is the summary of my 1 hour of argument with Priceline. This company cheats, don't reserve Flight/Hotel ever people please, go to company website directly, and reserve there, you will be treated better when there is any issues.

I found a lower rate on a different website and wanted to get a price match within the 24 hours. I called Priceline the same day booked and was on hold 40 minutes with no outcome. I then moved to text service to communicate with four different customer service agents. All of them said they would help me and never came back after a while. The following day, I escalated the case and asked for a supervisor. The deal was still lower on another site, I took a screenshots. All of the agents give the same robotic cookie-cutter response. I can’t find it on the other website despite Agoda.com being a partner of the company. After spending at least four hours to try to get them to honor their own guarantee, I was able to reach a supervisor just after the 24 hours that passed. I knew this was coming, the supervisor said the 24 hours have been over and therefore the guarantee not eligible.

Yes he said he did find the deal as the 24 hours were passed, but no longer could honor. So basically they had me on hold, ignored my texts and did everything they could to avoid actually helping me within the first 24 so they could very easily say my screenshots were no longer valid. All of them said the same thing so it makes me realize that that’s how they are trained to operate. I am extremely disappointed with the lack of customer service and this is definitely not a reputable company. Even when I asked for their email, it’s not a simple email, it’s letters and one agent gave me the wrong email address five times. Customer service is dead at Priceline and they are not honoring what they’ve committed to.

The obvious difference is 73.10. They charged me 101.35. I plead with Mickey, the supervisor, after I spoke with an agent to allow me to speak to a supervisor to comp that amount as I had already lost over $200 on the return flight that I was unable to get refunded from that flight. He said that I had reached the highest point of supervisor level and that there was nothing he could do. This is ridiculous. I don't want any for free but to be fair as it should be. I tried to call the hotel and they didn't answer multiple calls, so I called Priceline and told them that there was a mistake in the booking and that the hotel wasn't answering. So they tried to call and had no luck either. So they told me they would get back to me with an answer.

My fiance and I decided to just pay the hotel in Arizona directly due to the booking error, I told Priceline I never searched in Moreno Valley and I couldn't understand how that happened. But unfortunately they told me they couldn't issue the refund for the mistake. I couldn't understand how that would happen when I never searched in that area to begin with and that my recent searches never showed it either, but at the end I was out 137 dollars. Priceline does not have your back as a customer and is only into making a profit for the hotels to rip us off.

Booked a cruise on Royal Caribbean Cruise line through Priceline for an Alaska Cruise. I specifically asked about the need for Passports, and she assured me we wouldn't need them because the cruise left from and returned to Seattle. We booked it and got the itinerary and that is when the problems started.... it ended in Vancouver Canada.

I called her back and she said it was an honest mistake and said she'd work to fix it. Wanted to book us flights from Canada to home but the cost would add $1000 to our expense (we could get round trip tickets for $200 each from home to Seattle and we'd have to stay the night in Vancouver). Then she said she'd find us a cruise that started and ended in Seattle like we'd requested in the first place. After all was said and done, the different was $800 (more), and because she took so long, and the original booking was so close to the deadline for full refund, we were stuck.

That extra was, according to the agent, even after Priceline supposedly waived their change fee. We then realized we weren't booked with a transfer from the airport to the cruise port and back. No help there since we didn't book directly with the cruise line for our airline tickets. We have always booked directly with the cruise lines in the past (this is our first Royal Caribbean Cruise and I'll review that after the cruise) and we've always had great experiences working with them, even when problems arose. I will not book with Priceline again. It seemed to me that the way things transpired it was almost like they did what they did in order to get more money out of us. In addition, adding a Third Party to anything like this makes it far more difficult to resolve issues than going direct with the Cruise Line so that's what I'll be doing from here on out.

I rented a FOX rental through Priceline and paid $320.25 in full when booking. FOX provided a substandard car which is what they had available. After returning the car, FOX provided the contract and invoice showing the actual cost of the rental to be $269.64. I took this to Priceline and they said that it was FOX's mistake to show me the price Priceline had negotiated with them and refused to listen to the fact that the car I got was not the one I booked, and refused to refund the overcharged amount.

My husband booked what he thought was a park, stay, and fly reservation through a third party agency on the phone that apparently used Priceline. We were required to pay the full cost of the reservation at the time of the booking under the impression that the hotel stay and the extended parking fees were covered. When we arrived at the hotel, we were told the hotel no longer offered extended parking for guests except for a $25 charge per day.

Needless to say, we chose not to stay at the hotel and asked if we could have a refund due to the fact that the reservation was not what we were told it would be. From that point on we became part of a ping pong match between the hotel and Priceline to determine if we would get a refund. Priceline agents keep referring us to the hotel to get approval for a refund and the hotel keeps referring us back to Priceline. We have reached out to the hotel's corporate office and are waiting for a response. Priceline has not offered any exception to their cancelation policy given the circumstances.

HORRIBLE COMPANY… DO NOT USE THEM TO RENT A CAR EVER… I booked a reservation through Priceline and paid for my booking on the site. My pickup time was for 9:30am on 8/19/2022. My husband and I were supposed to be traveling to Louisiana for a family member's funeral. We got to Sixt rental and was told we should’ve never pre-booked/paid because they require you to use a credit card. However on Priceline it does not have that in fine print stating that is a requirement it gives you the option to pay in debit/credit, Apple Pay, PayPal, etc.

The company didn’t allow us to get the car because of this. The lady who helped us said she would cancel our reservation and we should receive a refund within 10-15 days. I never received any confirmation stating the reservation was canceled so I called the company’s number to be told my reservation was not canceled and I had to contact Priceline for that and for a refund. I contacted Priceline and they told me no refund would be given even though I didn’t get to leave off the lot with the vehicle I pre booked because Sixt didn’t allow us to. So I’m out of $200+ when I never got the service/ product nor did I make it to my grandmother's funeral.

This company is the absolute worst and I will never recommend them to anyone. This company deserves to be put out of business… a total scam. They make money by scamming people to pay them to book reservations but Priceline fails to have what the car company requires to get the vehicle listed on their booking site then have the nerve to say no refunds knowing it’s not right that people pay their hard earned working money for them to just take it.

Not cool to allow your customers (Priceline) to scheme!!! Almost 2 weeks of me dealing with this nightmare... Stay away from booking anything with Priceline or Booking.com. I'm still shocked and VERY disappointed with how Priceline/Booking.com gave me the runaround about a refund. I booked a room through Priceline at RIO Las Vegas, and the room was a make-believe room falsely advertised on the RIO All-Suites Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas website. This hotel is promoted by Priceline and Booking.com.

False Advertisement!!! On Friday, Aug 5, 2022, my husband and I arrived at the RIO All-Suites Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. It took us a while to go through self-checkout. After receiving our keys for RM 7016, in the Masquerade towers. When we entered the room, I instantly was shocked by what we were seeing… the room looked nothing like the pictures on the website. The room furniture was outdated, the carpet was dirty, and there were several stains on the sofa. A slap in my face, and mind-blowing to see I had been taken advantage of, especially with me flying in for business and to be RIPPED OFF!

I had to rush back out to catch my ride for the Lionel Richie concert. After returning from the concert, we experienced 10 mins of an emergency recording with loud horns stating it was part of the emergency signal. The next morning, Saturday, Aug 6, we checked out around 6 am. I shared with the clerk how disappointed and mislead I felt about the room looking nothing like the rooms on the RIO website. The clerk agreed and said "Yeah, the pictures on our website do not look like our rooms." The hotel recently opened back up after dealing with COVID and expects to remodel later. The clerk said she could only refund our resort fee but said I should give a review to improve customers’ experience.

I have been calling the RIO Las Vegas, Booking.com, billing, and RIO Las Vegas customer service, since I returned home, on Aug 8, 2022. I have received NOTHING BUT THE RUNAROUND FROM PRICELINE/BOOKING.COM. I want and deserve my money back!! This has been a VERY STRESSFUL SITUATION and I WANT IT OVER WITH…. REFUND ME!

While shopping hotels on Priceline I decided to book one of their "Express Deals" where you purchase but don't know the name of the hotel. They advertised the hotel as a 3.5 star hotel, so I booked it. The hotel turned out to be SureStay Hotel by Best Western SeaTac North. When getting dropped off by the airport shuttle I'm thinking this does not look like a 3.5 star hotel but going on the assumption that a company like Priceline would not use deceptive practices, I checked in thinking maybe the rooms are nicer than what the Hotel looked like from the outside.

The room smelled and the entire hotel was clearly not a 3.5 star hotel. Personally, I was a little disgusted and really didn't want to sleep in the room. I looked online and found out the hotel WAS RATED AS A 2 STAR HOTEL. I immediately contacted customer service at Priceline and informed them I purchased a stay from them that was misrepresented as a 3.5 star hotel and was actually a 2 star hotel. I asked to be booked in a neighboring hotel that was rated at 3 stars or above. I was polite, I didn't overreact, I told the representative that Priceline misrepresented what they sold me. All I was asking for was for them to rebook me at a different hotel equivalent to what they advertised I was buying.

The representative kept telling me over, and over, and over, and over that it was nonrefundable, and there was nothing Priceline could do. I repeatedly communicated that Priceline sold me a 3.5 star hotel and gave me a 2 star hotel, that was gross and smelled. All I was asking for was for them to give me what I purchased. Our conversation went on for 13 minutes, and she refused to help me. Her primary suggestion was to go talk to the front desk. I told her that is not going to solve the problem, because the front desk can't change a 2 star hotel into a 3.5 star hotel overnight. Priceline needs to be careful before some law firm files a class action lawsuit against them for deceptive selling practices.

I said that’s fine, change my reservation to that as I would rather pay that rate. Nope. They refuse and will do nothing to accommodate whatsoever. After speaking to several reps I was told a manager would contact me. They never did. Another rep told me the manager will “tell me the same thing”. Apparently I am a VIP member. Well they didn’t treat me like VIP, they treated me like they couldn’t care less to have my business. After everything was said and done, they pretty much just said “the reservation will stay as it is”. This is a very bad company. Never again. I would rather pay more to a company that cares about my business.

I booked several hotels on via Priceline website. One of my bookings was absolutely horrendous (uninhabitable)- it shouldn’t even be offered as an option on their website. They need to have someone in “quality control” to make sure the hotels they offer are at least somewhat decent. Too many unacceptable issue with the hotel to list but the pics in the Priceline website didn’t match what I saw when I pulled up to the hotel. Lots of false Advertising- between Priceline, hotel or both.

Biggest issue is that I didn’t receive my coupon for being upgraded to the “gold vip status.” I had to call 3 times (was hung up on one of the times) and wasted over 2 hours with no resolution to my issue. The last “manager” I spoke to basically told me that there’s nothing she can do and that the higher ups aren’t going to care. Worst customer service EVER! I don’t know how they stay in business.

Booked a flight from Istanbul to Frankfurt but realized afterwards that it was a month too late (I needed Aug 14 but ended up accidentally booking Sept 14 - partially that the site defaulted me into Sept). The site indicated that there is free cancellation if done within 24 hours from booking, so I immediately proceeded to cancel this reservation online. However the cancellation request was refused due to an error and was informed to contact customer service. When I did I was told that the flight had been cancelled so I proceeded to book for the correct date (Aug 14). But then I receive a vague email stating my credit card denied the charge, but when I went to my credit card it showed the charge accepted and pending. When I go to their website the trip did not even show anywhere so I was forced to go to a competitor to book the flight and hope I don't end up getting double-charged. As a result of this absolute mess, I am completely done with Priceline.

Received a call from Priceline just to rub in my face no help. Totally ridiculous, the trip is 2 weeks out. Major disappointment. Will not be using them again. The hotel refused our reservation because they only allow 1 dog per room, and Priceline refused to refund the money because it is it was a “non-refundable reservation”. That they made on our behalf. We ended up having to drive another 180 miles and pay for a second room before the day was done. My advice.. don’t trust 3rd parties, call the hotel directly and make your own reservations.

Your system generated another booking for some place called the Blue Bay Inn. When I tell you it was horrific this place is unlivable. It should be tore down. The elevator smelt like urine. Someone had Peed on the bed and they didn’t even change the sheets. It was beer bottles all over. It was infested with roaches. It looked like something you would see in a very bad area.

I spoke with Priceline. They said that they would cancel it and refund my money but that never happened. I do not like to deal with people that do not honor their word. I did not stay there. I had to check into another hotel and spent an additional $600. I will not advise ever booking with them because they’re very dishonest and the things that they show sometimes is not what it is. I find that on Priceline, they give you a price for a hotel. Then, when you go to book, taxes and fees are added in. Absolutely nothing wrong with that. Problem is the initial price that Priceline gives you is quite low compared to what the price will be with taxes and "fees". You need to burrow down within the program to see what you'll actually pay. Then, when you do burrow down, Priceline frequently either (1) does not tell you what the "fees" are for - that is, Priceline will just give you one clump amount for taxes and fees, and not inform you what the "fees" are for, and why the clumped amount is SO high; or (2) lists out what the taxes you'll pay are, but those taxes CLEARLY do not match up with what the actual taxes are in the municipality you are staying in are - in other words Priceline APPEARS to be adding in significant amounts to what the ACTUAL taxes are. I once wrote to Priceline asking them about this. Not surprisingly, I received no response.

So the above all has the smell of a scam to me, and after having used Priceline for a long time, I no longer use it.

Driving to a funeral tomorrow morning, so I booked a car at the nearest international airport (PHF) via Priceline 2 days ago. They assigned me to Hertz (Priceline picked, for the price they quoted) for a pickup at 6 pm, since I figured I certainly wasn't going to need it earlier, and I didn't want to have to wait for them to wait for a customer making a late return. Pickup was at an airport that had flights coming in until at least midnight, so I wasn't too worried, although I should have been. No indication was made in any of the emails or "click here for additional details" pages that Hertz closed earlier than all of the rest of the car rental agencies in that airport.

I arrived at 8:02 pm to pick up the car, and, although all of the other rental agencies in the airport had customers waiting in line to rent cars. The Hertz desk was empty. They put up a sign to say they were closed at 8 pm. A Hertz representative actually came over, but they were off the clock, and were only picking up their personal items. They did tell me I could come back at 9 am the next morning, but the funeral started at 10 am, and it was 1.5 hours away from the airport, so that wasn't a good option for me.

They said if I booked through Priceline, I would need to call Priceline, because Hertz doesn't get ANY money if the customer doesn't pick up the car, and they wished me luck, and hoped maybe Priceline would move my reservation to one of the other rental agencies at the airport, since they were all still renting out cars, except for Hertz.

I called Priceline, and their automated system recognized my phone number and my reservation, and immediately told me that if I had any issues, I would need to contact their "service partner" and automatically transferred me, without any opportunity to talk to a person (yes, I also tried their text line, which was also automated.) The number they transferred me to, of course, was Hertz. The Hertz customer service representative was very nice and attempted to find any Hertz location in 50 miles that was still open, but none were.

I went back and attempted everything I could to get a Priceline customer service person, without any success. They absolutely pass you off to Hertz. When I went through the "modify my reservation" after logging in, they took me right to the lines that say my reservation was non-refundable, could not be modified or changed, and would be charged regardless of whether or not I picked up the car. It's interesting that they benefit with the full price of the reservation if you can't pick it up, and that they didn't make any note of the closing time of that particular rental agency, compared to the rest at the airport.

Priceline used to be my go-to for booking rental cars, but this was the worst customer service, and an outright ripoff. I wouldn't have minded at all if they could have switched me to one of the other agencies right there, and if there had been a surcharge if they couldn't meet the original price, but taking 100% of my money and keeping it for themselves while foisting their customer care off on a company that is literally making NO money from the deal (leaving them no good way to negotiate) is ridiculous. A situation like this can't be that uncommon, and it is set up to disproportionately benefit Priceline, who keeps all of the money for themselves.

I want to be clear that the customer service guy was nice to work with, but I am super upset with Priceline's policies towards customer service. I have been trying to change a flight for the last two days. Have spent a total of about 6 and a half hours on the phone, been hung up on twice, and finally when I found a flight that Priceline would let me book, it was cheaper than my original fare, which is great right? No...They originally told me that they couldn't refund me the difference in between my flights but they would wave the $75 flight change fee to try to offset it (said it was policy).

I didn't understand why they couldn't refund me the difference because they make it clear that we have to pay the difference if the new flight costs more...but went with it. Then, after keeping me on hold for 25 minutes, they told me that "their system" won't let me book the new flight unless they collect the $75 change fee per ticket... I was frustrated, but it clearly didn't seem like it was the guys' fault...felt bad for him. Regardless, Priceline is clearly not trying to serve their customers well, but make sure they keep their margins high which is upsetting and not good business.

Prices are low, but when have an issue, you spend hours trying to resolve it with no luck. I spent countless hours trying to reschedule a return flight. I spoke with multiple people and often they would say they could reschedule and then hang up on me in the process of changing it. Other times, I was told it would cost an additional $900 when the entire round trip was far less than that. I was also told I needed to contact the airline directly. The airline told me they cannot change third party travel. I was finally told to wait until I took my departing flight and to then call and cancel my return flight. I did this and received an email showing I would have a future flight credit. When I called to use the flight credit, I once again spoke with several people and received several different answers. First, I was told I could apply the credit but was hung up on in the process of it being applied.

Next, I was told the credit didn't exist. Then I was told the credit was suspended and I needed to call the airline. I called the airline who said it shows up in their system that I didn't show up for the flight. I explained the situation and they told me Priceline is responsible for fixing the situation but they will try to avoid fixing it because its money lost for them and their employees get in trouble when the company loses money. They told me they are capable of doing much more than they say so they use tactics to avoid doing it such as hanging up on you, placing you on hold for hours, etc. He suggested I call and say I want to speak with a Sales Rep or Supervisor and that's the only way I will get anywhere.

I did this and the agent said "they will just tell you the same thing as I am." I said I still want to talk to them and she reluctantly said okay, "but there's no guarantee they will help." I was on hold with a supervisor for about 20 minutes. She eventually told me that when I called to cancel my flight, the agent "forgot" to cancel it with the airline. Therefore, it was showing as a no show and that the credit didn't exist (even though I have a Priceline email showing the credit per passenger). I was then told they would contact American Airlines and put on hold for another 10 minutes. Then I was told they needed their IT department to correct the suspension in their system but that department is closed and to call back during their business hours. This is still not resolved even after days of trying! I will never use Priceline again, no matter how good the price is!

Never buy a ticket on Priceline if it is important that you get home. I was on a European trip when Lufthansa cancelled the first leg of my return trip five days before I was due to leave. Because I had bought the ticket via Priceline I had to work with them to rebook. However, Priceline was so incredibly incompetent that, even though there were flights from Zagreb-Seattle (my route) on the day I was due to fly with seats available, they could not get Lufthansa, who was legally required to rebook me, to agree to a single rebooking request with 30 days. So Priceline cancelled my ticket and I had to buy a new ticket out of pocket at a premium price (last minute in a busy travel season).

To add insult to injury, I only got a refund for 2/3s of what I originally paid for the ticket (it was a round trip, and the way they calculated the refund, I got less than half the amount I paid even though the return ticket was the more expensive route). Not only did I have to rebook at my own expense, but I had to spend over 4 hours on the phone in a foreign country to even get to the point where I was told they would not rebook me. So simple advice - if you actually need to get where you are going (or need to get home) DO NOT BUY A TICKET FROM PRICELINE.

I finally have a chance to write this review. I will never booked through Priceline again for bundle package or any of my trip for the future. My flight and car rental was fine but the hotel canceled on me without any prior notice when I got to the place at midnight which I had to get up in 6 hrs for my conference that morning. The lady at the desk said, "You are the 4th person, we got overbooked and we don't have the room you requested". It's midnight and no one called or emailed me about cancelation way before. I was on the phone with Priceline, then they transferred me to Booking.com (not sure why) for hours, she was searching any available place for me. The places that she found for me is further away from where the conference was so I declined.

Over an hour and half into it, they still have not found a place so I started driving to Riverwalk area to see if there is any other places which had any open rooms, I stopped by 2 places and they had none, then the girl on the phone said, there is a Homewood Hilton Suites but "the cost is too high and I need to get approved by my supervisor" so she put me on hold again, I finally got to Homewood Suites and asked the front desk if they have available room and how much, they said "Yes, we have rooms" so I was like, "I am done driving around and asking for any open rooms" then Booking.com said "it is expensive and my supervisor said they will have to find a place closer to where I was originally placed at Extended Stay."

I said, "This is not ok as it's almost 2am and I have to get up in a few hours". She said, "You can send the bill statements to us and we may be able to reimburse for that stay". Yes, after I returned from my trip, I emailed my hotel statement and no one called me or contacted back, when I called 1-2 weeks later, they were going to reimburse me $50 for my $1000 hotel cost, I said, "Are you joking". If I would have known about the hotel cancelation, I would have found a different place ahead of time without costing me this much and they put me in a difficult position where I had no time to look for a place in a last second.

The most horrible service and I will NEVER EVER BOOKED with Booking.com or Priceline ever again. Extended stay sucked as they are the one let the priceline and booking.com down. Right after I booked the trip, Extended stay messaged me about when I would be checking in and I said around midnight due to the flight landing time and car rental, that was it. Nothing else from them for canceling my room. While I was in the lobby, there was a family came in and the room that they got given, already had people in there, "TV was playing, the latch was on" so they decided to go without getting another room there. That place sucked. NEVER AGAIN.

I booked a package vacation that included airfare, hotel and rental car. I paid an additional $600 for nonstop flight out of my pocket. Upon hoteĺ checkout the hotel made us pay the amount due. When I called Priceline they transferred me to Booking.com and they transferred me back. No answers out of either one. No breakdown or explanation.. Cost was a Thousand Dollars more. I will be hard pressed to ever use either of them again.

So I’ve put about a months worth of trips through Priceline this, is in July, I booked these trips back in November. Every single trip I booked with priceline there has been an extra charge. I’m talking to the tune of $400 at some places. The trip my wife took to Utah price line literally doubled what it cost us. I made multiple calls to customer service and they wanted to help me not at all they could barely speak English.
