Total Rip off. I bought a flight on my Priceline account.. With my credit card for my daughter to come visit me. I even paid the $18 for the USELESS insurance. Priceline changed the date and time of the flight without telling me beforehand... without my approval or permission. Since we could not accommodate the new date and time due to the covid lockdowns.. I was forced to cancel her trip. They refused to give me a refund and are holding what I paid ($324) as a credit. Now I find out that not only are they STILL refusing to refund me... that I can't even use the flight... It has to be my daughter. After we find a way to use this credit... I will NEVER use priceline again... total scam artists.

Booked recently a 4 nights stay at Marriott Bonvoy in Old Port, Portland, Maine using Priceline.com. For $509 per night the room in the picture looked totally different from what we got when we arrived at the hotel. First, the Marriott clerk told us that because we booked through Priceline we only qualify for a type of room facing a construction site or a room without natural light facing a very small interior yard. The room had outdated furniture, a sweat smell coming from the bed, and my wife woke up with bug bites on her hand….

Because I could not get any help from the Marriott clerk, I called Priceline. They were totally useless. First I talked to Jose (?), after he identified me, and heard my complaints about the room, he put me on hold… 10 minutes later, this time a lady from Philippines, picked my call, requested again for my identification, and again listened to my complaints…. But really this is all she could do. No call to the hotel to check on the situation, no support offered to put me in another hotel for the three remaining nights, not sorry for the conditions my wife and I had to spend the night… Nothing. I think this is the “business model“ for Priceline, to make huge money on rooms that normally cannot be rented by hotels…. Shame on you Priceline! P.S. - photo of the room, including bug bites on my wife’s hand available.

Customer service was not any help in the first 5 mins. 5 to 10 days for a refund is not true. 18 days later and no refund.

So I rented a car through Priceline at the Tampa Intl Airport. The rental company turned out to be Ace Rent a Car. Our flight from BWI got rerouted to Orlando. I went to the Ace Rent a Car there and found out that they would not honor the rental because it was at another airport. I had to rent a car at a higher price and then drive to Tampa. I called Priceline to let them know what happened and they said that they would not cancel the reservation in Tampa even though it wasn't our fault that we got rerouted. Beware of any change of plan, even if it's out of your control. Priceline will not be reasonable and will keep your money. I will never use them again.

I reserved a room at a hotel in March. Received a great rate, in return I had to agree that I would not receive refund for no-show and could not cancel. Which was fine until we checked into hotel to find out that there was a pet fee of $20.00 extra per night. Even though Priceline knew I was taking a pet they never informed me of an extra fee. Being that I couldn’t cancel I could not leave that establishment because I would not get the rest of my money back. So I was stuck there. Priceline needs to let people know all the fees associated with the reservation. This was my first experience shopping through Priceline and probably the last.

On July 26 2021 Frontier canceled my flight with no explanation (mind you I booked in March). I tried looking for other flights but I need five seat and each airline had only one or two seat with scattered times and of course the price was through the roof. I called Priceline to cancel my return home flight / car rental because how am I returning if I was unable to get to my destination. I purchased the insurance/ protection plan figuring they would be helpful and help with a refund. They said nope. I need to contact the airlines myself. I spent over 3hr on hold and no one answered.

I think it terrible that price has no protection for their customers. I have always used them in the past and never had issues but after losing out on over 2,000 Dollars I will never give them My business. I was one of those people who worked through the pandemic. Saved up for this trip. But it great to know business is back to normal and these companies will continued to screw the working class.

CAUTION. Heartless refund policy. I booked a hotel for vacation. Not knowing that, my wife later in that evening booked the same vacation at the same hotel during the same dates on Priceline and told me the next morning. I immediately called priceline and spoke to several representatives who seemed to genuinely try to cancel one of the vacations talking to their managers to no avail. Now we are paying double for the entire time. I asked if I would be refunded if I cancel with the hotel one of the weeks because we are two weeks out if I would be refunded by the hotel. Priceline stated that there would be a cancelation charge of the full price of the entire stay. Priceline is a greedy company to do this to a customer. I will be sure not to use Priceline and warn anyone that is thinking of using this heartless company.

And when I asked if there is something else that we could do for the inconvenience there was nothing. It's your choice to use the service or not. I plan on moving forward and not using. Sadly.

There was a miscommunication with the hotel I was booked with to where they canceled on their end but Priceline never canceled on their end. After calling numerous of times while at the hotel desk both the hotel manager and I were getting two different stories. They first stated using some virtual card then the guy was in a rush and hung up on. The hotel manager called back and they going on notes put in but yet to try and resolve the problem. I talk to maybe 7 different people. Got hung up on 3 times because they did not want to resolve the solution then when I couldn’t take the run around they wanted me to take the refund and be done and proceeded to tell me I gotta rebook again with my own money for their mistake.

I been dealing with Priceline for awhile and they are very very unorganized when it comes to problem solving. They don’t check and see if hotels are booked before just charging your card. They wheel you in by the savings but it’s not worth the headache. 2 hours and I’m still on the phone. After 30 mins because I refuse to let them consider me as a VIP but treat me like I’m anything. After this Priceline will not see my name anymore and I hope no one else falls victim to it. Unbelievable.

They lied vehemently. They never told me through their customer service that my refund was issued, if though I had them on a recorded line. I booked a reservation at the Midtown convention center hotel in NYC on Priceline for this weekend (had to come into town for a trauma course). The pictures show that clearly this hotel is in disarray and in fact not open. Silly me for just assuming that it would be. I spoke with two Priceline representatives, including a supervisor, who refused to rebook us in another hotel. They said the hotel was closed for Covid and expected to reopen 8/1/21, which is laughable. I explained that a site credit should be provided given the hotel I did rebook is costing 400$ more. I was offered an offensive 5% discount off an Express deal only. Be aware that Priceline does not check the status of the hotels and further investigation may need to take place before assuming the hotel is available. Better yet, avoid Priceline altogether.

We booked our flights through Priceline thinking this was the best way to reserve airline flights, but it became a joke working with priceline. During the time that we booked flights and actually took the trip they changed our flight times multiple times. When we tried to call them to make adjustments since we had people we were meeting, they had a recording that basically said not our problem.. call the airlines. What's the point of having a middle man to help you with your travel if they won't support you after the tickets are purchased. Priceline should be ashamed of themselves for not supporting the consumer after the purchase. I will never use this service again.. and neither should anyone else.

So was traveling to Florida for vacation and I booked my car and hotel as a bundle through Priceline months before my trip so I wouldn’t have to worry about it. My lady and I got our luggage and headed to pick up our rental so we could go to the hotel. We were told we were not getting a rental car because Priceline failed to fill out the voucher properly so we were not able to pick up a rental we paid for. Spoke to a representative about it and he said call back tomorrow because he could not get ahold of his manager. We left the airport 1AM $725 down payment on a different rental.

Thank for my hotel was good to go. Called Priceline the next day and was told I would not receive a refund and I requested to speak to a higher up as yesterday I was told I would receive if I called back tomorrow. Got to speak with the higher up and he tried to tell me that the reservation was non-refundable. Okay it’s refundable if you mess up and I don’t get what I paid for. I ended up getting my refund 10 days later. My lady and I were in Florida struggling to figure out how to feed ourselves because we had to wait 10 days for a refund. We were in Florida a week. Took an hour on the phone with a representative and tried to tell me he’d call the next day and I told him he can call the airport rental now while I’m on the phone.

I used Priceline to set up a reservation at a hotel this past weekend. Turns out it's really Booking.com. Long and short- I reserved a room at what ended up being a bed bug infested crack house. This place was disgusting and I ended up sleeping in my truck. I called the property for a refund with no results so I called Priceline's customer support. They seemed sympathetic and apologized after I sent a pic of the bedbugs. Thinking that would be enough I received an email telling me the property had offered me a 10% discount on my next stay and that's the best they could do. This is ludicrous! Like a slap to the face. This is very poor business. Do not use these idiots too. Or a room. Don't use them at all. If your plane goes down or someone gets murdered in a room they recommend they will not be there for you in any way. I viewed two top notch, newer Playa Mujeres/Cancun resorts on the Priceline website. They were TRS Coral and Atelier Playa Mujeres. Priceline offered a deal that I would get one of three hotels for a great rate. The three hotels in the running were TRS Coral, Atelier Playa Mujeres and Villa del Palmar. The deal stated these were compatible hotels. I took my chances and that was MY WORST booking mistake I’ve made in ages. This was the typical bait and switch. Priceline selected Villa del Palmar. This resort is far from new, the accommodations are NOTHING like that of the other two resorts AND Priceline booked us without their all inclusive offer (Atelier and TRS Coral are all-inclusive resorts). I tried cancelling to no avail and had to stay at Villa del Palmar AND pay for all meals, etc.

We couldn’t even get someone from Priceline to talk to us about cancelling the reservation even minutes after I realized the terrible mistake I made of trusting this company. I am extremely dissatisfied with this experience. If Priceline is offering booking options similar to Hotwire, it should at least come close with hotel comparables. My fiancé and I travel a lot. Literally booked approx. 4 hotels with Priceline in just this month alone. After this experience, we will be taking our business elsewhere!

Booked the Super 8 West in Amarillo, TX through Priceline.com. Checked in at front desk, when my child got in bed 15 minutes later, she found chips/crackers and other food debris in the made bed. Notified Xavier at the front desk, and he said he could not offer another room as the hotel was at capacity, nor was the room able to be cleaned. I asked Xavier to look at the food in the bed, and he even took a picture of it. Called Priceline.com, they said they could only refund money if manager approved. I was on hold with Priceline when they called the hotel. Xavier hung up on Priceline numerous times (I watched from the lobby). Per my request, Xavier called the manager, Ken B., who said he would be in at 8am the next day. We left and stayed in a different, clean hotel.

I called Ken B. at 9:30am the next day, and the housekeeper alerted me that, "he was sleeping" and to call back after 1pm. When I finally got Ken on the phone, her was unwilling to allow Priceline to refund my money, citing I checked in and authorized payment, kept telling me to call Priceline to address the issue, denied that food was in the bed, and eventually hung up on me. I called back twice, and he hung up on me again. When I tried calling back, no one answered. (As a side note, who has ever "previewed" a hotel room prior to checking in at the front desk? I guess if I had done this, I would have saved myself the trouble.)

This was my first time using Priceline, I will never book through them again. Nowhere on their site is an issue like this addressed. They only speak about "Cancellation Policy". I did not cancel: I did not receive the product offered, nor was the hotel able to provide a clean room. Priceline only takes in the manager's input, thus I was unjustifiably charged for a room I did not sleep in.

The flight had multiple delays which would have caused me to miss any other connecting flights to be able to make the meeting I scheduled flight for. So I ask the airline for flight credit or refund and they advise I would have to get that from Priceline since they booked the flight.

Priceline then passes the busk and said the airline would have to give credit or refund? Airlines will not refund or give flight credit if booked through Priceline and you have to cancel. I also bought the trip insurance which was also useless in this situation because the delay still would have gotten me there within 24 hours of the scheduled time of arrival. The only problem with that is it would have been 6 hours after my meeting!! It was bad enough that I wasted the money I can’t get back or get a future flight for but to go along with that after waiting 7 hours to talk with someone at Priceline they were rude and just told me those were the breaks. DO NOT BOOK FROM PRICELINE! I had booked my reservation for the hotel and flight two months in advanced from my vacation. I had no problem checking in my flight but when I arrived to the hotel in Cancun, the people from check in were unable to find my reservation but were able to find two of my family members that also booked with Priceline. I clearly had the hotel confirmation number and my itinerary where I have paid the full amount but the hotel I was staying in was Paradisus all inclusive hotel and they told me Priceline did not send over the reservation and that I had to contact them to get all this sorted out. 7 hours later in the hotel lobby Priceline was not about to fix anything and told me to call tomorrow morning that their reservation department would be open at 9:00am.

In distress and tired I had to pay 800 dollars out of my pocket in order to stay the night in the hotel. The following morning the first thing I do was contact Priceline and again they were unable to fix the problem. The only thing they could do was refund me the money for the hotel. I had wasted a day and a half and I had to pay out of pocket in order for me to stay in that hotel. Something that was supposed to be one of the best experience became a nightmare. I will never book with Priceline and will tell others about my experience with them.

I'm done with Priceline after this trip. Getting ahold of literally anybody is so hard and frustrating, doesn't matter if you call in or chat online. Then when you finally do get ahold of somebody they don't know what they're doing and transfer you to someone else, but you have wait and it's no short wait. Why are you in a department, answering chats and call when all they do is wait till wayyyy after I stated the issue multiple times that they don't know and I need to get ahold of someone different? Whatever, my wait was over 2 hours and when I did get a call back I got transferred and waited again.

Anyways, I had to cancel a flight and reschedule it. Well for one nobody and their mother tells you that you have to call in to get the credits from the flight. Secondly, after spending 30 minutes trying to book the flight (no joke got put on hold six different times just to talk to the same person) I finally got it all paid for and confirmed, but then the day of my flight the ticket magically can't be found in my emails or their systems yet I noticed my card was charged. The guy I was chatting online with about my problem could only say I have to call someone else since he doesn't know where it is.

Once I get a hold of the lady on the phone she says, "You'll have to wait at least another 45 minutes." It's really funny, I mean how do I book a flight through this company, see it's being charged to my card yet nobody has any clue where it is or could be. Honestly thank god for the lady at the airport because she was so nice and found them with almost only a small. The whole company is just a big joke. So messy and confusing.

I booked a flight using Priceline back in 2020, but I canceled it due to the pandemic. I need to book another flight now, and I want to use my credits from the 2020 flight, but it has been incredibly difficult to do so. Here are the issues I have faced so far:

    1. The Priceline website always says it is not able to find my previous flight when I enter the confirmation number, so I cannot book my new ticket through the website.

    2. ^ That forces me to call their customer service. I call them, go through the regular automated voice procedure, and it tells me the wait time is 2+ hours. They call back 3-4 hours later. The lady is nice and everything is going well until I ask her for the prices of the available tickets. She says she needs to put me on hold, and I comply. I have been on hold for over an hour now. It does not take over an hour to check the price of a ticket.

Worst customer service ever. I've looked at other reviews and other people have also had a similar experience. I am going to stay on the line and wait it out to the best of my ability. Long story short, Priceline is fine to use as long as no complications or changes come up. If there is any risk of your plans changing, DO NOT USE PRICELINE.

I would NEVER EVER book anything with Priceline, I feel that I have been stolen from & the customer service team & the person above them have definitely been train to not help & steal from the customer. Here is what happen: Initial website price quoted $116.85. At the time of inputting credit card information and all personal info price remained at $116.85. I go ahead and fill out info. & proceed to selecting "Complete Booking".

Right after, a second screen pops up stating pricing was changed to $218.86 because I was younger than 25 years of age. It asks once more to “Complete booking” but age was incorrect so right away I “X” out the screen so I can select correct age bracket & price can calculate back to $116.85 I wanted to book for. Once I Exited the screen, it takes be back to the original booking page, I select once more age 25+ and once I selected that option website immediately goes on to confirming my booking for $218.86!! DOUBLE THE PRICE. This happened without me selecting NOTHING ELSE BESIDES MY AGE!

Right after, I start a customer service chat online & explain the situation. I tell him I don’t want to cancel & that I just want to make sure my reservation gets adjusted back to $116.85. At that point he goes on to saying there was nothing he can do because I had purchased a “EXPRESS DEAL”. I then go on to calling customer service in hopes that someone could help me. I spoke to a representative on the phone, and he pretty much said the same thing, so I ask to speak to the manager. I explain to the manager the situation once again, I tell her that their web must have had a glitch, or something went wrong & that I did not presume on to confirm the $218.86.

At that point if I couldn’t cancel the reservation, I just wanted to get original price quoted. I tell her that I have proof of the purchase I was making at $116.85 and she goes on to pretty much insinuating I was lying which at that point was very frustrating. I asked her for her e-mail to show her proof & she pretty much ignored me by staying silent and said there was nothing else to do because I proceeded to booking and express deal!! I asked her to transfer me to someone higher than her & she said she was the person authorize to make the changes but because I confirmed the booking, she wasn’t going to make the changes. SO now I am stuck with this booking and a charge of $218.86.

I was booking a hotel, at the top of their Payment page, it clearly stated “flexible cancellation until 11:59pm July 9th” right below the hotel’s name, highlighted in green color. Because of this statement, I went ahead and completed booking. I then received an email confirmation, but within the email, there was a section for “cancellation policy” where is said “26% of penalty will be charged if canceled after July 4th”.

I called customer service, the agent and the 2nd level agent both just repeated the same stuff to me, that the cancellation policy was stated in their contract somewhere. I then requested for a supervisor, he told me the same thing: those cancellation policy were indicated in the contract under the “Booking Conditions” link where it had other links such as “Terms and Conditions”, “Privacy Policy”. I asked them why they didn’t show these detailed policy at top of the page, where it said "flexible cancellation until 11:59pm July 9th", or why did they display this statement at all, which obviously misled me. I told them I didn't click on the "Booking Conditions" link because I was convinced by the clause "flexible cancellation until 11:59pm July 9th" at the top of the screen.

Btw, there was also no hover over description or any side note explaining what "flexible cancellation" means. To me, I thought cancellation is flexible until July 9th. Their response was “the policy was stated within the contract at the time of booking, therefore there is nothing we can do”. They refused of any wrongdoings and didn't honor the full refund because of the hidden terms in one of their many links at the bottom of the screen. So watch out for Priceline, don't fall into this trap like I did. They have no integrity or honor, they would do anything to trick customer into "complete booking" first, even if meant misleading customers with false information.

I called Priceline back (at this point I've been on the phone for over an hour trying to get the reservation time changed). Priceline then says that they have a "rule" that doesn't allow them to change any time, even if it is due to the flight change that a customer has no control over. I think that is UTTERLY RIDICULOUS, especially in 2021 when there's about 1,000 ways to rent a car. I will be sure to NEVER rent a car again with Priceline.

My husband and I purchased Air France flights from Chicago to Portugal on Priceline for a planned vacation starting June 6, 2020. At the time, the unfolding pandemic was a very unsure situation, the European Union had paused incoming travel but was rescheduled to reopen before our trip started, and we worried about waiting too long to purchase flights and being faced with exorbitant prices. When we finally did purchase the flights, Priceline had a policy on their website saying that they would issue full refunds if trips needed to be canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic (looking back, this was clearly a ploy to squeeze as much money as possible out of customers during a global crisis).

About two weeks later, the European Union had extended its lockdown and the CDC and others were recommending against all non-essential travel. Because we would not have been permitted to travel to our destination (not to mention that it would have been unsafe), we canceled our flights on March 30. At this point, Priceline had removed its "full refund" policy from their website and was only responding to inquiries about flights scheduled in the next 72 hours. We submitted an electronic request for a refund and began what has ended up being a year and a half long wait to determine the fate of the money we paid to Priceline. The automated response we received from Priceline upon canceling was that they would review the airline's policy and follow up with us. We have never once during this entire process actually received any follow up calls or emails from Priceline.

Meanwhile, despite travel restrictions, our flights apparently flew as scheduled. Eventually, in April, we called Priceline, waited on an extensive hold, and finally spoke to an agent who let us know that we would not be receiving a refund, but rather a credit on Air France that could only be used through Priceline. However, we also learned that we no longer qualified for the prices available on the Priceline website because these were "new customer prices." To use our credit, we would not be receiving a voucher or code like you might normally expect from a business, but would need to call Priceline's travel services line to inquire about flights and prices, all of which differed substantially from those listed online (read: much more expensive, several hundred dollars more per flight at least).

We tried to dispute the charges through our credit card company, which filed two disputes on our behalf without success. We also reached out to Air France, because according to their website, if "my travel dates are between 3 March and 31 August 2020, and my ticket was purchased before 21 April 2020" the ticket is fully refundable. Air France responded that we would have received a refund if we purchased directly through them, but that unfortunately we would have to work through Priceline now.

Stuck with our credit, we waited through the entire year until it was scheduled to expire, during which time no travel was permitted by Americans to the EU. At the end of April 2021, we called Priceline again to find out if our credit had indeed expired, whether the circumstances permitted an extension, or if we could try to seek a refund again. During this call, and two subsequent calls during April and May, we were told various conflicting information: 1) we were eligible for a refund and would hear back in 2-3 days (we did not hear back), 2) we were not eligible for a refund, but our travel credit might be extended to December 2021, and 3) they couldn't find the information anymore about the December 2021 extension so our travel credit would only be extended to June 30.

They also, surprisingly, claimed that we might qualify for a refund now from Air France, that they will look into it, and that we can expect to hear back in 6-8 weeks (of course, we do not hear back). Why this was not investigated when we first requested our refund, and when Air France was offering refunds freely to regular customers, is unclear, although it seems to have something to do with Priceline's status as an intermediary (this sounds like a Priceline problem and not an "us" problem). While we wait to hear back, the EU opens for tourists on June 18, and then several countries, including Portugal, go under lockdowns again due to new COVID-19 variants.

So here we are on July 2, after our credit has supposedly expired. We call Priceline again and spend a total of 6 hours waiting for various call backs from regular agents, then a specialist agent. When the specialist agent finally speaks to us, we explain that it has been a year and a half since we canceled our flights, that the credit process lacks basic transparency, that the air travel situation is still unknown, and that we are now insisting on refund. She says that because we canceled our trip before it flew, we only qualify for a credit. We are back to square one. We do not want a credit and in fact want nothing to do with Priceline ever again. We ask about the status of the alleged inquiry with Air France by Priceline on our behalf (the one of two calls and 7+ weeks ago) and she can provide no information. She says that she can contact Air France now. As I am writing this, we are waiting on hold yet again, for her to wait on hold with Air France...

Priceline is the absolute worst company I have ever had the misfortune of doing business with. We have faced nothing but avoidance, misinformation, and outright deception at every turn. If they are operating within the law, it is within the slimmest possible margins. I will never give a cent to Priceline ever again (or really any third-party travel site, have you heard about the class action lawsuit against Expedia?) and I warn anyone who reads this to avoid this company at all costs. Tell your family, friends, and even your worst enemies!

Weeks later, I go online to verify my itinerary and it was scheduled for a completely different time than discussed and without notice. I even have an email confirming the discussion. Getting someone on the phone to correct the issue has been a nightmare. They are quick to take your money and refuse to service your needs after. They are refusing to answer customer calls. A prerecorded message arises to tell you that they will not answer your call along with a bit of attitude regarding the cancellation policy. I will never use Priceline for my travel needs again.

Changes to any agreement will NOT be negotiated if it does not benefit Priceline. Although company policies are included in their rental agreement, it is well hidden within the extensive legal mumbo jumbo which, as to be sure, you will not read it! As many of you know, because of Covid-19, rental cars are hard to obtain and prices are astronomical!

In my case, I returned a rental car early. A 3-day contract, which I believed necessary, as I was told by a vehicle service company that would be the amount of time required to repair my vehicle. The repair however was remarkably quick and I was anxious to return the noisy and uncomfortable Nissan Versa back to the rental company and did so in under 24 hours. I found out the rental company did not charge for the unused days that I had to go through PRICELINE for a refund. Here I found out that PRICELINE would not negotiate even though they knew $454.64 is highly outrageous for a bottom-line car! PRICELINE does not care about customers even in these trying times. If this is their way of helping get the economy rolling again then my advise is to steer clear of PRICELINE!!!

Just purchased tickets through Priceline, and got no communication that there was a cancel on the flight. And they did not refund any money. So now, not only are we out and there’s no flights available, but we’re also out the money that we spent for purchasing tickets. So my word to the wise would be not to use Priceline. I spent the last three hours on hold. I’ve been hung up on twice. So, poor customer service, most of it is through India. So poor communication on language barriers. And kind of almost like a bait and switch where they say, “Oh, we’re gonna be able to do this, buy these tickets.” But on the day before we fly out, we contact the airlines, and the airlines were like, “Yeah, we told Priceline two weeks ago that we were cancelling this.” And Priceline is like, “Sorry. That’s your fault.”

I used Priceline to find what I thought was a decent hotel. Got there. It was a dump. Now I'm scrambling to find a hotel because this is in the pandemic so I didn't want to stay at anyone home. Finally late that evening I find something decent. I have sent Priceline copies of my receipt for the time I booked through them at another hotel. You can clearly see that I did not stay in that hotel but they insist that I owe this bill. I have never used that account for anything. They have now put it on my credit. I called Priceline to get some assistance. The guy I spoke with was not friendly and treat me as if it was my fault. Nothing was ever resolved. He was pushy on the phone about not processing the refund so it was obvious that he didn't want to help me.

Then there was no hot breakfast, just a brown bag consisting of a danish, an apple, apple juice, and a fruit and nut bar. And on the 3rd day, they even ran out of that. And then there was no pool. I didn't think I had to ask for a non-smoking room, but that should have been on the list, as the room reeked of smoke. I called my bank and there was nothing wrong with my card, the funds were in the account and there were no fraud alerts on my account, as Priceline had stated. Every time I called Priceline they gave me a different story. First they said they were getting a fraud alert and that was what triggered the decline of my card, then they said that I had disputed a charge which I had not, then they said that there were no hotels available.

I could not get a straight answer from anyone. I checked with my bank several times and they stated there were no fraud alerts on my account, I even took a security freeze off my credit report thinking that might be the reason, and they still would not let me reserve a reservation.. They still will not reveal to me the actual reason for not allowing me to use their service. My fiance even tried booking something with his credit card in my name and they would not allow him to reserve a reservation in my name, but when he tried booking the same reservation in his name with his credit card it was excepted.

Priceline is discriminating against me for some unknown reason, I feel. I prefer booking with them because they do have the best rates, but this has left a very bad taste in my mouth and has caused bit of wonder as to why they choose not to let me use their service. I have done nothing wrong to warrant this type of treatment. I feel I am being discriminated against for some unknown reason because there is no other reason for this to be happening.

THE HOTEL WAS EVEN DIRTY, VERY FAR FROM PICTURES ON THEIR WEBSITE! There were 5 of us complaining on that day. We were so tired that we decided to just checked in to another hotel (TRU BY HILTON) which is far way better than RAMADA.

When we got back in NJ, we called Priceline CS but none of them were able to help us with the FULL REFUND we are requesting. They kept repeating the same lines about policy when we did not sign any disclosure at all and they did not deliver at all in giving us what we have reserved a month ago. The two managers kept saying that there's nothing that they can do. So what happened to our money? Is this how you deliver customer service? Please do not use Priceline anymore because they are even partnered with poor type of hotels plus their customer service line are all rude and won't even help you at all! They do not understand the value of reservation and the word "Delivery of service".

We could have accepted it had they have delivered what we have reserved a month ago but RAMADA DID NOT AT ALL, for PRICELINE to insists that it's the Hotel's discretion. How could that be when in the first place, what we have reserved was not provided at all. Talk about Policy when you guys are following and delivering the policy yourself. Walk the talk, Priceline! And better get other customer service team/people because the one you currently have (offshore/MNL) needs re-training. The customer support and supervisors (Kaye & Klay from MNL) doesn't know how to handle complaints with good customer service. Klay even hang up on me after telling me repeatedly that there's nothing that Priceline can do.

So, is this how you guys get money from people? Getting money from your customers without delivering what we they have reserved for? And telling us several times, that It's RAMADA's discretion? So, customers become the victims, had we knew that this is how Priceline take care of customers, we should have not use Priceline at all. Upon flying into our destination, we found out that the rental car that we ALREADY PAID FOR wasn’t available. In fact, their exact words were “we ran out of cars.” So we scrambled to another car company and got another one, they only had SUVs left so that’s $300 out of pocket. It’s fine, whatever. Not the end of the world.

We go to dinner on the way toward our hotel. Head into our hotel at 8 p.m, a little past our baby's bedtime. Ready with all our luggage to check in when we found out our room reservation has been “cancelled by Priceline.” The hotel informs us that Priceline overbooks, then cancels reservations based on getting more money for the same room from other customers. They said Priceline was supposed to notify us. Had we been notified would we be here right now? My husband was on the phone with Priceline for over an hour with no resolution. They claimed they couldn’t relocate us to a different hotel for the night. So after a very frustrating phone call, we both start calling other hotels in the area. Given that it’s a holiday weekend, the ONLY hotel we could get cost us $750 A NIGHT. So our previously paid-for trip ending up costing over $1800 last minute. We checked into this exorbitantly expensive hotel past 10 p.m. All thanks to Priceline. Unethical is a major understatement here.

Ive been using Priceline for years and Ill never use them again! The first hotel I tried to book they declined, so I tried another hotel and it went through. Only they ended up charging for the one they declined. That's not what gets me.... Anytime you use your card to pay a company, they receive their money instantly. So why is it when they screw up, that it takes 8 days for them to credit your account back???? It infuriates me really!! And on top of that, believe it or not, the hotel I stayed at also charged me, not only for my stay but also for my registered service dog, which I had informed the clerk that I have seizures. That hotel was Fairfield Inn and according to them it could take 30 days before I am credited those charges. I'm beside myself really,... Almost $150 in extra charges that I didn't need taken, just floating around somewhere and no one can give me a straight answer. NO MORE PRICELINE!

I booked a night last minute at Hampton Inn to enjoy a night away with my family, it had good ratings. I was excited for my wife, kids and I to have a mini vacation. The hotel room was not clean at all. Which you'd expect with covid that it would have been cleaned even more than usual. Brown color splattered stuff all under the cabinet and sink in the bathroom that at first I questioned if it could be blood. Whatever it was it’s disgusting that it was even there, as it shows it wasn’t properly cleaned. A unused bed covered in dirt under the blanket like it had never been cleaned. I have pictures of everything and can even provide time stamps that show the pictures were taken right after we checked in. I trusted the reviews and ratings to think I was going to a decent and clean hotel. ESPECIALLY being the Hampton, other guests in other rooms being loud all night causing us to wake up.

No garbage bags to be found so the whole stay we took our own garbage and child's diapers to the trash ourselves which is such a huge inconvenience!. Never mind the fact that there’s a pandemic and the toilet paper roll left in there was already used!!!! It was not relaxing at all and I felt like it was no different than staying in a cheap motel. A hospital floor is cleaner than this hotel. After this disgusting experience, I went ahead and contacted Priceline directly as I was so upset about the whole thing. Their response was not even an apology or offering any refund or any help at all! That is not how a business should be ran, not how customers should be treated. I will spread the word that they literally don’t care about their customers and I will make sure to recommend any other business over this one. THEY ONLY CARE ABOUT $$$$.

They need to clarify these things when charging you. It's not right and then they do not refund your money for 5-10 BUSINESS DAYS! Hotel NEVER refund incidental charges. Nothing but problems with this company seriously. I am a gold member so I use frequently but in all honesty you are just better off booking straight thru the hotel itself. Do not believe these other reviews. They are full of crap.

My experience with Priceline was horrible. I will never buy from Priceline again and I will spread the word so that other people do not use Priceline either unless they want to be misled and ripped off. My fiancé and I are 19, and we bought plane tickets and rented a car through Priceline. We rented from Dollar through Priceline, we were skeptical about whether we would even be able to rent being 19, but after putting in our age and dates it gave us a list of cars from places we could rent with the options we put in. We were happy that we were able to rent with this agency being 19 because the Priceline website allowed us to. We saw that there were certain age restrictions with some locations, but not once were we informed that the location we were renting from would have a restriction.

We got to our destination and went to pick up our rental car. The Dollar agency said they can't since we are 19 and they only rent to 20+. The gentleman working that evening checked with a supervisor and stated that they don't know why Priceline even let us rent knowing that was their policy. So then we were stuck at the airport 2 hours away from where we needed to go and with no transportation for the rest of the trip.

The gentleman at Dollar told us to call Priceline to get a full refund, so we did and the representative told us there would be a cancellation fee somewhere between $40-$50. We asked why considering the fact that we aren't cancelling because we want to. Only because we have to because the website mislead us. We asked to speak with a supervisor and we got a call back about a hour later. Unfortunately we were loading onto the bus to get to our destination so we missed the call. We tried calling back to get a supervisor but every time we called we had a 4 hour long wait and then another hour long wait. We have not yet to receive a call from a supervisor. I just received a email today saying out refund will be issues in some business days. $40-$50 was taken out. **

I booked a flight and rental car with Priceline for a business trip. The trip was cancelled due to covid outbreak and the plant shutting down. I logged in and cancelled my flight with no issues. I clicked on the button to cancel the rental car and the system pops up with a window telling me that I need to call. Great, I call and get Ken (they can't give employee numbers because then you could identify who they are) who tells me that the agreement with the partner (their policy) does not allow for refunds. I ask for a supervisor, Ken tells me he can only forward to a senior agent.

Next I get a senior agent who basically say the same thing. So I asked for a copy of the cancellation policy and a receipt for the rental car since I was able to cancel my flight. She informs me that they can send the receipt that breaks down the flight and car individual cost. I then ask to speak to her supervisor since she has stated that the partner policy does not allow for cancellation of rental cars. While on the phone with her I pulled up Priceline help which refers a customer to the individual partners policy for cancellation (in this case Thrifty). I find that Thrifty does allow for cancellations, so I asked for a cancellation policy for Priceline. She could not provide a policy (there is not one, by the way).

I finally get a (supposed) supervisor. The supervisor tells be basically the same thing, but goes on to say that they do have a policy, and that the policy is just a statement on the finally agreement or trip screen. So I asked if the policy is presented to the customer before the page that he keep sending to me which just has a statement that is after the completed booking. Through the entire process he keep telling me they had a policy, but in fact that is not true. All they have is the statement added after booking. Their partner companies do however have policies on cancellations which Priceline even shows you through their own site. So basically Priceline is charging for services they know will not be used and could care less about the customer and any issues.

However, the second leg was supposed to happen in Mar. 2020, when Covid already started. We did not use the second leg. In April 2021, the Airline (Air Canada) announced the policy of refunding all unused tickets (due to Covid) between Feb. 1st 2020 and Apr. 2021. But because the ticket was purchased through Priceline, we had to go through Priceline in order to get the refund.

I contacted the Priceline twice, but they claimed they could not find the details anymore. I told them that I still have all the details of the trip (Trip Number, Airline Reservation Number, etc.) and can send the details back to them, so that they can help to send back to Air Canada. The Customer Service representative was very rude to refuse to consider that, and hung up the phone! I have used the Priceline for many years, but will NEVER use it again in future.

I found a reasonable rent a car on Priceline, Fox Rent A Car, also known as Drivo Rent A /car, working out of JFK airport in NYC. I booked it for a total price of $111.03 days rental, economy size. New York City has now begun toll less bridge crossings. the license plate is read and the registered owner is sent a bill. there is no other way to pay. Sounds not to bode well with rental car scenarios? One cannot pay the toll at the crossings. On my trip, I made 2 crossings, the Lincoln tunnel and the Throggs Neck bridges. At the rental car counter, there were no face to face disclosures that this company imposes a $6.95 EZ-Pass transponder fee for each crossing! I was billed an extra $13.90 for this fee and tolls amounting to $10.17 for the Throggs Neck crossing and $16.00 for the Lincoln tunnel. So $111.00 total then turned into total charges of $152.00. Priceline should be more consumer conscious and disclosure this "fine print!"

However I cannot be refunded for my trip, and due to me buying for two passengers I can only get a credit, which is fine with me, but Priceline refused to credit both flights to me even though I paid for them. I use Priceline a lot when I travel and I don’t understand the customer service I am receiving. I would hope that policy could sometimes be adjusted to certain situations. If I could give zero stars I would. First, I booked my stay on Priceline. There was some type of glitch with their site and the wrong dates were booked. I called to correct it, priceline said they could ONLY refund if Management would grant an exemption.... Priceline claimed that management would not grant the exemption. I assumed it was an issue with Priceline. But my husband's in a fishing tournament, he really wanted his family with him, so I rebook at the same hotel (it's closest to the dock) Through a totally different site.

Upon arrival, I was denied a room, due to a $150 incidental fee, that was not disclosed by either website. This is a 2 star hotel, I'm staying for one night and I have to pay a deposit equal to 105% of the room cost???? ($129 plus tax)???? So when I ask for my money back he told me to leave, when I refused he called 911 on me, but he was stealing my money.

My husband's fishing partner has attended this same tourney for 8 yrs, stayed at this SAME hotel all 8 years and this year he too had the police called on him due to challenging the incidental fee. Oh and did I mention we are POC???? While arguing with the clerk 3 older ** men said that when they arrived he did the same thing.... yet no mention of a $150 on ANY SITE....

Here is a link to two videos of how they seem to treat their customers of COLOR. **. Even the officer who responded was irritated as he too looked on multiple booking site and on the Travelodge home site and NOWHERE is a $150 incidental fee even mentioned.... To make matters worse, they had the manager's card in the lobby, I call to speak with them and the same jerk said he was no longer there and refused to give me the new manager's information.

So I call Travelodge National Customer Service and start telling them what happened, as soon as I mentioned the word Police, they informed me that when the police are involved they wont get involved. After a very choice word conversation and escalation to a supervisor, I still had to remind them that I had a recording of the incident and was recoding the conversation that we were having. So I asked, "BASICALLY, he calls 911, no one is arrested or anything, he steal the customer's money and basically you don't get involved?," because I can't wait to post that to my social media pages.... Needless to say 2 complaints have been filed, but still no money returned.

I finally filed a dispute with my credit union, whom after they see all the video, emails, screenshots, incident reports, I'm sure will refund my money. BUT THIS CLERK, ruined my weekend vacation and left me. My husband and 2 daughters stranded over 2 hours from home with a $129 room booked and paid for, but nowhere to stay....

NEVER WILL I EVER STAY IN ANOTHER WYNDHAM BRAND HOTEL. This one management team has ruined it with me and their whole brand of hotels. If in Clearlake CA DON'T NOT BOOK AT THIS HOTEL, especially if you're **, it won't be a good experience.... Oh and the listing shows you overlooking the lake and docks, it's close, but that's a LIE, it overlooks a softball park and the dock park around the lake where all the ** stay and conduct there business, but no lake view from there AT ALL. COMPLETE FALSE ADVERTISING.

WHAT, this is something I already paid for and they try to make me pay more, so I try to speak to the lady on another level, ask her, "Would you let your 8year Olds get on a flight by them self," she said no. So why should I let mines. She put me on hold, when she came back and said, "My Manager said I can disconnect this call. We no resolution," I lost it. I called to check rates and availability at Orlando Marriott. Did not even realize I was talking to Priceline I thought it was Marriott booking. I was told the rate was 144 and there were only three rooms left. I explained to the agent that I wasn’t actually sure if I was going to need a room or not but I was concerned that maybe there wouldn’t be a room left if I didn’t book. He told me that I can go ahead and book the room at the rate of 189 to include free cancellation. He advised that when I found out I definitely needed the room, I could call back and change the rate back to the 144 rate without the added charge for free cancellation.

I was shocked to hear that because if that was there policy, I would think that everyone would do that and just call the day before and say they want to change the rate so it seemed crazy. I asked him several times to repeat it and he assured me that that was what I would be able to do. I asked him if he would make a note on my reservation that he told me this and he also assured me that he would do that. So I made the reservation.

A few days later I confirmed that I definitely needed the room so I tried to call back to get my rate changed. Four or five times I called and went through pressing the appropriate numbers to get to the right place, was put on hold with music and disconnected. So I decided to call the hotel directly. That was when I realized that I booked through Priceline and not the Marriott. Of course they could not help me at the hotel so I tried another Number that I found for Priceline and got an answer. The agent pulled up my reservation and I explain to him what I wanted to do and he said that that absolutely could not be done and that my credit card was already charged and it could not be changed at this point.

Also my credit card was charged $255 which apparently included fees and taxes and I don’t know what else. I said to the agent, so you’re telling me that I was lied to by someone in your company and all he kept saying was that was not their policy and he could not do that. So I just canceled my reservation and he said I would get two separate refunds on my credit card and it would take up to 3 to 10 days. This was yesterday so hopefully that actually does happen but I would never ever use Priceline again and wouldn’t recommend anyone else to use it. If it sounds too good to be true it probably isn’t!

I planned and booked a trip to Jamaica through Priceline, in which my flight was canceled by the airline and no one from Priceline or United airline had consideration enough to even call or email to notify me of this. Which is due to no fault of mine... It wasn't until I called to add another person to the flight that I find out that my flight was canceled...very inconsiderate. Had I not called, I would have never known.

With this being said the first representative had me under the impression that I could cancel my entire trip due to this cancelation, including the hotel/resort...not true. I was only able to cancel the rental car (which was non-refundable after a certain time) and was refunded and I was refunded for the flight (which was non-refundable after a certain), however I am being forced to pay for the hotel/resort part of the trip because that part was non-refundable Priceline is saying per the hotel/resort.

Every representative and manager that I have spoken to these last past 3 weeks said that they would call me back once they heard back from the resort...they didn't. I've called over 20x during the last past 3 weeks to resolve this only to find a email saying the hotel/resort is not willing to refund me and a email to do a survey. I am truly disappointed in the service, lack of communication and the lack of willingness to compromise and to resolve this matter with it being no fault of my own (the customer). I'm being forced to pay for the hotel/resort and now I have to find a new way to a hotel/resort that is not willing to compromise on this situation. I personally will not book another vacation through Priceline again or EVER book a flight with United airlines. This has been a very bad experience and with this being said I feel the experience was very POOR one.

Even when you book thru them, they can farm your reservation out to another company. We had 2 reservation booked at the same time and they were with 2 different companies. When we had to cancel due to surgical reasons we spent 2 days on the phone trying to get the cancelation only to be sent in a daisy chain to other companies. Not 'til we threatened to report them to Visa for fraud were we able to get all the reservations taken care of. We will not use them again.

Booked a trip to Orlando. Selected my rental car. Car was advertised as located at Orlando International Airport. Next day I realized it was not, it is over 15 minutes away. Started looking into it more, Priceline in small notes says the shuttle runs every 15 minutes and that is a 3 minute trip to the rental car agency. That is not true, it is 15-20 minutes depending on traffic. After being bounced around and waiting for calls back for 6 hours I finally spoke with "Kaye". Who again told me my rental car reservation is unchangeable. I simply wanted a rental agency that is located in the terminal. She told me she is going to have to let me go because this call is ''unproductive". The information they provided about the rental company is not accurate. I wanted to change nothing besides the rental car company. Will this ruin my trip, obviously not. But it shows their lack of willingness to work with customers.

Extreme dissatisfaction with a hotel transaction. PriceLine misrepresented a hotel saying that it was close to the St Louis Airport. It was not only several miles from the airport, but the hotel also did not offer shuttle to the airport. The hotel (Quality Inn Florissant) was dishonest in description of its location; PriceLine was unsupportive and uncooperative in customer service. They should support the customer when they are using hotels that do not meet their promises. I will never use their services again and encourage everyone to beware of their questionable business practices.

We finally got to the rental car place, and they said they didn't even have the compact cars we had reserved through Priceline, so we had a choice between being stranded or paying as much money as we had already paid months earlier. That would have not allowed us to leave our Airbnb for the entire trip. We tried to utilize our travel insurance but they told us that because we were not sick, we couldn't get a refund with the travel insurance, to call Priceline.com.

Priceline offered a credit and the ability to use the credit by Sept 2021. However when I went use my credit, all the restrictions applied, we no longer qualified for any of the specials, we had to pay full price. The cost to travel no matter the destination or date range was $1300-$1900 more than our credit. I could understand a couple hundred more but almost $2000, is highway robbery and fraud. Priceline just stole my credit because I won't be able to afford to use my credit on any flights, and they will not refund me or extend my eligibility to use dates out further or offer me a special's price which was what I originally got because they now consider me an existing customer, even though we didn't fly. So I wasted 2 hours getting a hold of the airline carrier only to be told that they contacted Priceline February 28th to let them know the flight was cancelled. Now mind you I got a email from Priceline saying to make sure I check in for my flight!

I spent another 90 minutes to get the customer service for Priceline who basically laughed at me, told me it wasn't their fault, there is nothing they could do for me and also laughed when I asked for a supervisor saying they would tell me the same thing and if I'm looking for compensation it isn't going to happen. He then laughed and said he will transfer me now and put me in a queue with a 3 hour and 55 minute wait time. We then had to scramble to find a flight home so our whole last day of vacation was ruined. And we had to pay for another 3 plane tickets because it would take 7 to 10 days to get the cancelled flight refund. This company don't care if you get stranded or incur added expenses.
