I googled a hotel and found a Priceline.com link for this hotel. When I clicked the link and completed filling in booking info on booking page of my selected hotel, the Priceline.com application pop up a list of three hotels including the hotel I wanted with "Get one" button, which the Priceline.com calls Pricebreakers. I was misled I was still booking the hotel I selected. After I got booking confirmation, I realized the Priceline booked another hotel for me. I immediately called the priceline.com and explained their application misled me and I would like to change the hotel I wanted. The priceline.com customer service manager was rude and helpless. She kept saying "The only thing I can help you is No change and No refund." I was terrified by this company's practice and services. I will never use the priceline.com

Priceline’s express deals and rating model is extremely misleading. I recently stayed at a 2.5 star hotel. The rooms were extremely filthy. The carpet had stains all over. It felt extremely unsafe and unclean. These low quality hotels are surviving due to Priceline’s Express deals that do not reveal the hotel name before you make the booking. Caution: Do not fall for Priceline’s express deals. It can be a health hazard (read bringing bed bugs at home and spending thousands to eradicate them, touching other persons dried up body fluids etc.)

I recently wanted to surprise my wife who booked a flight to the Philippines. I got all her flight information and called Priceline to upgrade her flight to business class. I was told that there would be a $350.00 fee on top of the fare difference, which I agreed to. After 15 minutes, the agent came back with a price of $2,600.00 plus the $350.00 fee. I said go ahead and I am ready to give her my credit card number. She placed me on hold for more than 30-minutes and when she finally came back, she apologized because they had no more seats at that price.

I initially called Korean Airlines, which is the airline my wife is flying on to find out if the business class has available seats. They said yes, which is when I called Priceline since that is where she purchased her tickets. When the Priceline agent came back, I was told the only seat I can now get will cost $16,000.00 to upgrade. My jaw dropped and I asked how the price can change within the time I was on hold. I am a VIP Gold member of Priceline but will be pulling all my travel purchases from them from now on. They have just lost a loyal customer and they were not able to give me a good explanation of how the price jumped 6-fold within a span of 30-minutes.

I purchased two flights and a rental in June of 2022 for a trip to Hawaii the very next month. Unfortunately, my mother passed two days before our fly out date. We cancelled and received a travel credit per flight. We did not receive a refund on the rental car. We had one year from the original purchase date to reschedule. Fast forward to November when we call to reschedule. We planned everything out using the Priceline site and called as the email instructed. The representative could not find anything close to what we paid for our original tickets. ALL prices were over what we paid. The flight dates and details we found and provided to him was over by $1000 per ticket causing a difference in the credit/ticket price. We were aware that there might be a difference of about $300. The cheapest difference we got to was a little over $300 and we were losing days!

In a time of need, Priceline did their part in cancelling but could not even provide the services we originally purchased. The supervisor was very unhelpful and did not answer any of my questions! She stated the rules of the cancellation and airline policy, which I already read. Supervisors are supposed to at minimum help the company's image, but this one sat in silence and could not even answer questions. We are going to change our destination to use our credit, delete our accounts, and find our vacation deals elsewhere! I strongly encourage everyone to reconsider when using their services! You do not expect to have to cancel flights, but when you do, this company cares nothing about the customer!

American Airlines changed time of flight making it minutes from my next flight so I had to cancel the trip I booked through Priceline that I also paid for trip protection for. Priceline gave me a credit to use only through Priceline not American Airlines and when I tried to purchase another flight it wouldn’t allow me to use the credit through the app, I talked to two different people on the chat on the app who were asking me for the same information multiple times and they didn’t need any of the information, all I needed to know was how to use the credit because the app only allows you to purchase with a card again. After wasting time on the chat taking me in a circle I was finally given a number to call to be able to use the credit.

In my experience on the phone I had a woman tell me with a strong Asian accent that made it hard to understand all the different flight information and when I choose one it turns out Priceline does not allow you to purchase trip protection again even though the previous trip protection I purchased on the canceled flight will not cover this different flight. She then told me I can call American Airlines to purchase a protection plan from them. I called American Airlines and you can only get a protection plan if you buy a flight through them only not for a flight through Priceline.

I booked a car rental by selecting Priceline calendar and after booking, I realized that it booked me for the wrong month. Within 10 seconds, I cancelled the booking. I was still charged 210 dollars. I called them, and they said, "Too bad, it is our business policy. No refund. Too bad. You should have paid attention." This is undoubtedly unethical business practice. I hope the government can punish businesses with such money grabbing policy.

I had purchased tickets for my daughter to travel to Japan. There was an adjustment that we had to make to the routing. I contacted Priceline and after multiple days & hours and hours of hold times and run around, they never offered to help and kept pointing the finger at the Airline. When I contacted the airline they told me that Priceline booked the tickets and they were the only ones that could make any adjustment. After being lied to and many more hours of runaround by the extremely rude reps at Priceline, I ended up purchasing a return ticket directly from the Airline.

Priceline tries to grind you down by putting you on extremely long hold times and they pass you around between their associates. I started doing some checking online. It appears that Priceline has been doing this tactic for sometime, it also appears that there may have been class action law-suit as a result of Priceline not returning fees and taxes on tickets that were never used. We had to eat the cost of the tickets that were never used!

I cancelled within 24 hours but only received half of the price paid because the policy says that any cancellation within 4 days prior to arrival incurs the first night charge. That's criminal. I booked less than 4 days so couldn't possibly cancel before 4 days. The terms should have clearly indicated that I was within a no cancellation window. This is criminal.

I booked a hotel through Priceline because they advertised free cancelation up to 48 hrs prior to reservation. It was 11 days out I called customer service which redirected me to Booking.com. I told the guy I needed to cancel due to some family emergency my buddy had who was going with me. He said since I had already been charged and it was so far from the reservation date I could get a refund. I told him I need one more day to confirm with my friend he can't go.

I called back 2 days later and talked to a lady this time. She now told me I can't get a refund and if I cancel I'll still be charged the full amount. I explained to her I specifically chose to book with them because of the free cancelation. So they sent a cancellation request to the hotel and it was denied. I then proceeded to screenshot the fact that for my specific hotel on my exact days I was going said free cancelation and sent it to their CEO via email. No response as of yet. They lure you in and through a series of sales funnels and portals by the time you actually book you have been redirected from the advertised deal. Don't fall for it, I'll never use booking.com or Priceline ever again. Absolutely terrible experience and the trip was over Thanksgiving so now I'm $400 down over the holidays when I tried to cancel only 3 days after I booked due to a family emergency. We booked on Priceline.com, six nights at the 1908 Lisboa Hotel in Lisbon, Portugal. We arranged travel from USA via Greece. We paid a premium for a reservation that permitted cancelation up until the day before arrival, $1,633 in total. On the day of travel I became very ill and tested positive for Covid-19. We contacted the Hotel upon testing positive for COVID-19. We were told the terms of cancellation expired at midnight the night before, six hours before we knew about the Covid positive test. This date was three months after we paid in full for our cancelation-advantaged reservation. We expected a refund for two reasons. We could not travel being Covid + and risk spreading the infection. And secondly, we knew we paid a premium for a cancellation policy.

The Hotel refused to budge on their terms and conditions for cancellation. We were marked as a no show when they knew that had we ‘shown up’ it would have been with Covid. We contacted Agoda, the customer service agents for Priceline. What followed was essentially their endorsement of this fact; If you have covid and do not want to have your booking cancelled as a no show – then you need to travel with Covid.

Subsequent correspondence with AGODA never varied from this position. If you have Covid and you want to use your Priceline Booking, then you should travel to the Hotel with Covid or you will be a ‘No Show’ and lose 100% of your booking, even if you did pay a premium for a cancelation option. We have not received any of the $1,600+ for the booking we made that included a cancellation policy. Our impression of AGODA Customer service and their functional incompetence could not be worse. We will not be customers of Priceline and AGODA in the future, nor will our friends and family. Or anyone who reads our reviews on Trip Advisor.

I have a reservation in hand saying I had a car. I flew into the airport and spent $700 on the tickets because Priceline was the only one who “had” a car. The airport was still 30 min from the car so I had to get a $60 Uber there at 11pm. Got there and despite the reservation, I was told by Alamo they have no cars available. They told us and several customers Priceline does this all the time. They stated they do not check inventory they just always have a booking available to allow you to book then if you get there and they have a car you get it, if not you don’t. So now $760 later I’m stranded in the middle of a tiny town with no rental cars or hotels for at least an hour and needed to get 3 hours away.

I couldn’t get an Uber because no one wants to drive someone 3 hours so I ended up having to beg an Uber and tip him $200 on top of the $150-200 trip to take me so I wasn’t stranded so now $1160 later to get to my destination because of Priceline. I am not sure if they charged me yet as the transaction is still pending but they better not and as far as I’m concerned they should have to pay me for that trip because this was 100% their fault. None of that would have been booked had they not lied and said they had a car that they didn’t.

As soon as we arrived to ACE office for picking up the car they wanted to charge us with an extra insurance fee, hidden in the small letter of the contract. The car was crap. In a few hours we realized the car vibrated when breaking and there was an Oil Change Alert, we let ACE know about it, they made us take the car to Pepboys but ACE didn’t want to take charge of the repair. They said they’d repair it in two weeks after we return it.

Just one week after, the gearbox stopped shifting so it left us stranded in the middle of the Highway. We had to pay for an Uber to reach to our Hotel in San Francisco. After 3 days ACE Rental told us they couldn’t repair the car so we had to manage our way back to Los Angeles, as they didn’t have any office in San Francisco.

After two months complaining we just received a minor reimbursement, not to speak about the $100 Uber ticket. Priceline has never given us detail of the reimbursement. It’s impossible to send them an email and they never leave any registration of what they tell you on the phone. ACE Rental is the worst Rental Company ever, and Priceline should take care of their customers much more diligently. So I tried to cancel the booking online and couldn't. I tried calling the hotel with no answer, calling no less than 15 times, with phone ringing until it hung up on me. I contacted the same hotel chain in the city where we were, and tried to get them to either cancel the reservation or move it to where we were, but they couldn't, and said that I needed to contact the other hotel.

So again I try to call several times, no one answers. Frustrated and tired at this point, I just book the hotel where we were and send an email to the other hotel. They tell me, I would have to contact Priceline to get a refund, because I booked thru a third party. Priceline, tells me, the reservation I had shows no refunds, but on the paperwork I have it says: Cancelation policy says "FULL REFUND", unless you cancel day of then it's a 56% penalty.

I reached out to Priceline 2 times, 1st time, they said they would get back to me, well, that never happened, so I contacted them again today, and they said they could do nothing for me. I was willing, to take the hit, a partial refund is better than no refund. After all, this was not a "free" trip for me. I took off work, paid for a hotel (Over $250), plus gas to get there, time off of work, and I do not get paid time off. And no one is willing to even give a partial refund. That BITES! I informed the person I was speaking to that I would never use Priceline again, and that I would be sure to let my friends and family know of my experience. And also submit any public reviews that I could, to let people know of my experience.

Bottom line, Be careful when booking with a third party, I will not do it again. I will especially never use Priceline. Here is the cancellation policy that was on my booking paperwork: CANCELLATION POLICY: This booking is fully refundable if you cancel before 2022-10-20 11:59 PM. If cancelled after 2022-10-21 12:00 AM, 56 percent penalty will be charged. Cancel This Booking.

We purchased a Bahamas vacation package. The website instructed me to select travel days and then it automatically selects the destination after it allows you to select your departure airport. We came to the Bahamas with the kids to find out after leaving the airport that the resort is in another island. We were sent to another island. We went and fly domestically to the appropriate destination to end up in a motel in a deserted area in the Bahamas. It’s super scary area with bad reviews. I called Priceline to receive the most stupid answer. “We can cancel the reservation for you” the supervisor said. No hotel replacement and the airline fee is already wasted and they want to only refund the hotel. Honestly it’s a garbage website and horrible experience.

I stayed in Ft Worth Tx at Sonesta Simply Suites. From the people hanging out in the parking lot and around the entrance, it appeared to be an hourly motel. The room smelled strange and was in need of repairs. It was a non-smoking room, but had a burn hole in the comforter. Cabinet was falling apart and filters in A/C were clogged and filthy. The only thing good was the location. I contacted Priceline and since I didn’t complain to the hotel, they said they could not issue a refund. I didn’t ask for a refund, I expected Priceline to at least give me credit toward a future stay, for promoting this rundown and scary hotel to their clients.

We spent countless hours with Iberia and American Airlines who said they cannot touch the flights and changes must be done through Priceline. Priceline said to call Iberia and American. Around and around. Finally the reservation was changed (we thought) to a 55 minute connection which was doable. When we arrived at the airport, our reservation left us FOUR minutes at O'Hare to connect. No changes were ever made. American Airlines corrected it morning of travel. Never again.

Priceline sales department online and over the phone for the most part is exemplary. Priceline customer service customer relations in regards to resolutions due to errors created by agents of Priceline is deplorable to say the least. As a repeat customer who has had several reservations executed correctly and effectively only to find one reservation, a simple error turn into a customer's nightmare. What should have been a simple resolution, due to agent error, that created a cancellation of no fault by customer became a nightmare.

Multiple agents in multiple departments failed completely. They lacked listening skills as well as resolution skills. One even blind transfered and another started to pretend she could not hear the second I mentioned issues, and another said "I don't know" and "I can't" all while asking everything to be repeated. The agent asking me to repeat, I spoke to calmly as I talked very slowly given information in English with no accent and properly enunciated each letter and word, repeated it to her for clarification but she was completely incapable of her job. Almost every agent pawning off to a different department, while not properly listening. The sales team seems to not have the above issues, only customer service and managers and seems all female agents except 1.

Please, Priceline, re train your employees if not review more calls and fix the policies that created the no resolution issues. A customer, especially a repeat customer should never be told: I can't and I don't know, it blind transfered, and it be left without a room due to countless agents. Two hours, no resolution, forced me to book direct with hotel not priceline.com.

Being a seasoned customer service agent myself for some very large companies in my past my expectations are not unreasonable or unfounded for a agent created error. Errors happen but your lack and complete inability to resolve is not ok. More than 8 agents or so involved. Keep in mind, you have an internal issue. Refund is only part of a solution but if that person only had those funds and your taking days to refund that adds insult to injury. Demanding your customer pay a higher price and not honoring the original price guaranteed due to your error is not ok.

Recap: listening skills and one call resolution, complete resolution not partial is a must.

Hello, I believe that is my moral duty to let you know my experience with Priceline. I made an express car rental booking with Priceline. Two days prior my trip I phoned and asked to please change the pick up location and offered to pay extra money if necessary. I spoke with 4 different representatives and one more manager. Their questions were very intrusive about my reasoning of changing which made me very uncomfortable. All 5 crew members told me that nobody can help me. As it was an express booking I am losing almost $300.

Their attitude was cold and rigid, Customer accommodation and customer satisfaction wasn't met, the only thing they keep saying was: "this is the policy, I cannot help you.". Again, I never asked for a refund, I only asked to change the pick up and drop off location and offer to pay extra if necessary. This is the only travel company that I experience that showed no willingness of accommodating on the reason that is "express booking". I feel that I was taken advantage. The way representatives spoke came across entitled and above everything and everyone especially when they kept repeating: nobody can help you, I am the last person to talk to", I regret very much booking anything with Priceline and I will never do it again. They are running a 5 person shuttle once every half hour with a line of 20+ people. Awful but we wait it out. Finally get to the sketchy location after the driver spent the entire drive on Instagram to a huge line with one customer service rep. Get through that hurdle to find they literally don't even have a shuttle to get us back at the time we need to return the car. Called Priceline with this info and they were unwilling to help in any way. No refunds or help. Absolute joke of a 'company'.. We left their vendor after another hour wait for the shuttle to book with a location actually at the airport Priceline had claimed we were booking with to begin with.

I tried booking a flight through priceline.com, roundtrip from Kansas City to Jamaica for Jan 2023. I selected a flight to Jamaica through American Airlines and returning flight through Spirit Airlines... Priceline said it had a payment issue with the card I was trying to use... and then I received an email from Priceline that said the trip I was trying to book had been canceled. So I assumed I needed to call my credit card company to figure out what issues were causing this (that was 2 nights ago)... I had a voicemail yesterday from someone I had difficulty understanding that said something about the Spirit Airlines Flight and to call the number back...

I got an email from Spirit Airlines saying my flight was booked for a one-way flight from Jamaica to Kansas City on Jan 30th, 2023. SO CONFUSED. I called the number back and wanted to find out if it was actually booked. They looked up the confirmation number and said it was booked. I asked them if they worked for Spirit Airlines or Priceline and they said Priceline... so I asked them to look up the AA flight going to Jamaica and they said that was denied and voided. So I asked why in the heck only part of it was booked... They had no idea and transferred me to Spirit Airlines Customer service (because they said they could no longer help me with this... I had asked them to please just cancel that one way trip back from Jamaica with Spirit because it was annoying that I was told by Priceline that my trip was cancelled but actually, behind the scenes, the one-way flight back with Spirit was booked...

I had asked her why they would let that happen and she didn't know, nor could help...so she just said she could transfer me to Spirit Airlines customer service to deal with it)... After being transferred and going through the automated options with Spirit.. it said it was going to transfer me to a representative of Spirit... I was on a silent hold for about 10 minutes until it hung up on me... I called again and went through the same thing... after 10 minutes of silent hold... hung up on... So then I went to their website, where it said "24/7 live chat support!"...

So I started a chat... and after the automated questions, it said it was connecting me to a representative... and then it said my message was in the queue and that I was in line from the order my message it was received... telling me I had a 1 hour and 5 minute wait... SO, I waited forever...and finally had the chat convo emailed to me from the chat settings so I could see the time stamp... and it had been well over an hour and a half since they had told me that.. freaking BS. I want to cancel this stupid one-way flight that was somehow booked and never want anything to do with Spirit Airlines again!!!!! How are they in business?!!! And! Why did priceline let only half of my "Roundtrip" flight booking with them be booked behind the scenes and then not be able to help me?! I will not only NEVER use Spirit Airlines in the future - but I will also NEVER USE PRICELINE AGAIN!!! And I will tell everyone I know. Such a headache.

I was staying at a hotel and decided to make trip longer by a day. Instead of booking through hotel, I noticed I could save $20 on room through Priceline. BIG mistake. My card was “denied”. I received several messages from priceline saying card was denied. I went into hotel lobby to check, they confirmed my card was denied. I showed the hotel that priceline did in fact charge my card. They said "Oh it’s says pending and will fall off". I called card company and was told the same. I tried to call priceline from lobby of hotel BUT because my drip was denied by card, they wouldn’t put me through to a live agent. I was also denied an agent by the texting system. I kept all texts and phone records.

It is day 5, and I set aside time every morning to check in with priceline and the hotel. Priceline said yesterday they are waiting for hotel to respond to an email. Of course the hotel said they received no email from priceline, and will respond right away. Hotel apologized for priceline. They know it was Priceline’s fault I could not check into room. First rep I contacted on day one and day two at priceline told me “no refund not refundable”. I had to keep escalating and sending in ALL documentation. I agreed to not refundable room because I was AT hotel, so knew I would not need to refund it. Well so I thought. Priceline, people are watching their money, instead of scamming to keep money from could be future customers, why not help travelers.

ALSO most hotels offer full refunds on trips that need to be canceled. Why pay Priceline’s small discount and take the chance? Especially since it you do have an issue, there is little help. They hope customers with issues will tire of asking for the refund owed to them, and stop or just let priceline keep it. Not a chance priceline, I will drag scam companies into small claims court. Priceline doesn’t want to offer customer service, and if booking can’t be honored due to a fault with priceline for any reason, you will need to be prepared for weeks of long battle. I suppose they prefer to pay people to stall refunds, over just paying what’s due to customer. After this is all said and done priceline is losing money on paying customer service for a week of stalling clients. While I do respect the “no refund” policy, I wouldn’t ask if it was indeed my fault. However, when it is fault of the hotel or priceline then a refund should be made immediately.

The last 3 trips across US something happens with the reservation whether it’s the hotel, flight or car rental. We have spent more than 3000 having to correct wrong itineraries, hotel issues and this trip car rental issues. Priceline customer service is no help at all. My husband is currently stuck 2000 miles away from home, no car, no place to stay because of Priceline reservation issues AGAIN!!!

    To whom it may concern

I Yasmene ** writing this letter in reference to Priceline airline. On October 16 a day before my birthday I booked a flight with Priceline which I rescheduled twice. On 10/16 I show up to the airport an hour early and was told that my baggage could not be checked in due to a two hour check-in. I was informed by American Airlines that I was to be informed by Priceline of the check in time. At no point in time Priceline inform me of the two hour check in time. So when I show up with my bags to the kiosk it wouldn’t allow me to check in at six. So I requested some assistance from the agent there near the kiosk and she informed me to go to customer service desk.

When I get to the Deas I was informed that I can get on my flight but my badge could not be checked in and I ask why agent stated that I was supposed to be there two hours early. My ride has left The airport. I had no way to get back home so I requested that the agent check for another flight. I booked the flight for LAX and paid $150 plus $30 for my bags. This was it inconvenience to the person I was visiting and myself because she live five hours away. I had to drive five hours to come get me from the airport. Then Agent didn’t Put me in the seat that I pay for.

I had tried to settle this matter with Priceline due to the fact that I was never notified that I needed to be checked in by two hours. I have asked for some conversation for this issues and I was told that Priceline no longer is handling my flight and they could not assist me with this matter. I have tried to contact them on many occasions to settle this matter but still receiving the same answer for the results there is nothing they can do. Priceline is responsible for informing a customer of any policies and procedures of the book flights and supposed to Inform the customer which they wouldn’t negligent to do. I have spoken to a supervisor and customer service and neither one could assist.

Purchased airplane tickets and felt comfortable since it's stated everywhere on the site fully refundable if done in 24 hours. I changed my mind because I needed something different added to my tickets and tried to get them refunded before the 24 hours time limit. I also purchased seats. They kept telling me they will try to refund the tickets after multiple calls always stretching out the days but something is wrong with their system so they were holding my money hostage making it so I couldn't get new tickets elsewhere. Eventually they said they would refund the tickets in late Sept thru an email, but still waiting on the seats refund. After 1 month instead of returning my money they tried to charge it again. If my bank is unable to resolve this issue, I will file a complaint with the necessary legal entities for theft. THIS IS THE WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH - BUYER BEWARE!!!

We have confirmation through Priceline of these arrangements. We are 2 weeks out from our flight overseas. My mom had a feeling she needed to further validate our reservations, although priceline claimed they had already validated and my mom has the confirmation numbers etc...to support their claim. She called anyway, just to find out, today, that we in fact DO NOT have confirmed reservations and will not be able to get confirmed reservations. The hotel/Inn manager reported they have issues with this specific company regularly regarding this same issue.

Priceline has not notified my mother of this issue, and based on what the hotel/Inn manager stated, Priceline often times does not notify their customers of these issues like they are supposed to. Now, we are scrambling to make our own lodging arrangements on short notice. Thank God my mom called! We would've arrived from a long flight just to be rejected for our reservation on site in Ireland with little to no recourse. #EpicFailPriceline

Had to include a rating to get this posted, but the company deserves NO RATING- that's how bad it was! The Priceline site states IN WRITING "Book a flight with free cancellation within 24 hours after booking". Calvin, the representative that I made the phone reservation with on Oct 3, 2022, also assured of the cancellation policy, which I did- approximately 3 hours after I originally booked the flight. When I didn't receive a cancellation confirmation, I tried contacting Calvin. I also called the Priceline main # and talked to Odell, who told me I couldn't receive a refund. After arguing with him, I insisted on speaking with a supervisor. After being placed on hold for a while, Odell said I would receive a refund.

BUT- on Oct 4, I heard from Arron, a supervisor, who told me I was not entitled to a refund. After insisting that he was incorrect regarding the Priceline written policy for refunds, he wanted me to send him a screen shot of the policy as proof of my claim. That's when I lost my patience, stated I'd call my state's Attorney General and the Better Business Bureau. By Oct 6, Calvin responded to my e-mail sent previously, unwilling to do more than say that my complaint was under investigation. Arron called to say that he was working on our complaint- but would we consider continuing with our original booking? By this time, I'd file a complaint with my credit card company.

It took from 10/3 to 10/13/22 before I received notification that my payment would be fully refunded. Arron worked to resolve the issue, for which I am appreciative of his efforts. But why did I have to go through this in the first place, and spend time and energy insisting that Priceline and its employees honor its written policy? How many people don't insist on their cancellation rights and succumb to the bullying of Priceline's employees?

I was told by the representative he would cancel the trip however, Priceline was not able to directly refund me but I should make a claim with my bank and I would have my money back.

The next day I called the bank, explained the situation and was credited back my $850, this was July 16. On September 1st I noticed I was charged again for the trip, I called the bank to ask what was going on, the bank said Priceline STATED I NEVER CANCELED THE TRIP THEREFORE I'M BEING CHARGED THE FULL AMOUNT. I called Priceline to ask why would they tell me the trip was canceled but now is stating I didn’t cancel the trip. All I got was the runaround, being transferred from one department to another and being on hold until they hang up the phone. Now I’m stuck paying $850 for a trip that was supposed to be canceled.

Orderd air tickets and hotel rooms with Barclay's Priceline card on the Priceline website. The card was refused. So I used another card. Then they charged it on both cards. Spent 3 weeks on hold and talking to people that can't do anything to help. Barclay's. Priceline and Delta all blame each other and say the other company need to fix it. But I am the one paying for it all. Also, it came out way cheaper to book these reservations on my own without their service.

The grounds were not kept up. Grass was brown, trees were dead. Swimming pool and hot tub were closed. Looked like it had been closed for years. The door access cards keep failing. Had to go to the front desk 6 times during our stay. The back door access card reader did not work several times during the day. Every time I approached the female housekeeper for fresh towels, she told me to go to the front desk, then we never got any. The male housekeeper was a lot better to deal with. I have to say that I am very pissed at Priceline right now. I made a purchase for a hotel stay for October 12, 2022 and I made the purchase on September 20, 2022. Why in your cancellation policy dates, it says in order for me to get a FULL REFUND, I would have had to cancel before 2022-07-30 @ 11:59 pm? It also reads the following: "This booking is fully refundable if you cancel before 2022-07-30 11:59 pm. This booking is non refundable after 2022 08-20 12:00 am. This booking is non-refundable after 2022-10-12 12:00. If cancelled after 2022-07-31 12:00 am, 20 percent penalty will be charged."

Now if I purchased my hotel stay on September 20, 2022 which it also says on my receipt, how in the world can you make cancellation dates prior to the actual purchase. This is stealing and now I cannot get a person on the line and have to speak to. I am automatically placed on a call back because of the high volume. I am speaking with someone on chat and they cannot find my reservation nor the confirmation number provided. I am so angry and going to report your company to the Better Business Bureau and the Consumer Affairs. You cannot be stealing people's money and not giving adequate time to cancel a reservation. I sent them a screenshot of the reservation because pictures are better, and they still want me to type everything on that reservation manually. I am so freaking angry.

I don't feel good and should be resting, but instead having to deal with this crap. This is very poor customer service and I stealing. Most of you companies have been doing this type of stuff after the pandemic and it is shameful. You are probably getting all of these calls because you are stealing from your customers. They gave me a number to call 8046737592, I called Allianz, the first person that helped me notified me that there was nothing I could do to get reimbursed other than file a claim and wait for a response. When I asked for management they told me I could wait 7 hours on hold and placed me on hold.

The second time I called another person answered and told me the same thing, but I filed the claim while on the phone with him and he never answered any of my questions, just repeated his same written speech 10 times. They told me they’d put in a note for a supervisor to call me, the supervisor never did. I called again 9 hours later and all the supervisor could tell me is the claim has 30 days to review, there’s no one reviewing the claim that I can speak directly with, and I just have to wait for an email to either confirm or deny my reimbursement. What a nightmare. They want identifying information that goes against HIPAA regulations to prove a worthy excuse for canceling a trip. They don’t care if you fly sick and place everyone at risk. I was put on hold a bunch of times while priceline tried to reach out to the hotel. This was unsuccessful so I was told priceline would confirm refund status in a few days.

Awful experience. Priceline clearly does not value its customers' safety or basic needs. We booked a hotel in between flights after our trip to Europe, for a hotel in NJ right off the highway near the airport for easy access, as we landed late and took off early the next morning. Our taxi dropped us outside the hotel we booked through Priceline, but the hotel was basically abandoned. There were blacked out windows and No Trespassing signs everywhere. Turns out this hotel has been permanently closed for TWO MONTHS. It's a reflection on the poor quality of Priceline that we were even allowed to book it. So now we are stranded on the side of a highway in Newark NJ at 11 pm and I'm also 5 months pregnant.

We see another hotel a little ways away so we walk with our luggage on the side of the highway to see if they have any vacancies, while I'm calling Priceline customer service. Our reservation needs to be obviously cancelled and refunded, but we also need to be reimbursed for the hotel room we were able to find last minute, as this whole situation is the fault of Priceline. Of course it's a call center that's outsourced overseas, and they are unable to do anything but cancel and refund with some of the worst attitude imaginable.

The first rep we talked to told me his name was Lucas, and he shushed me and talked over me multiple times while I expressed the situation and what remedies needed to take place. He started raising his voice saying that they could only cancel and refund the original booking at this time, they couldn't relocate us because we found another hotel on our own.

After he told me that relocating would take up to 24 hours! I told him that Priceline put us in an emergency situation, we literally were walking on the highway with our luggage at 11 pm, pregnant and tired after an international flight, and had to make quick decisions. He had no sympathy for the situation and ultimately we escalated to his manager. She was sympathetic but ultimately had no power to help her customers either, saying we had already chosen the option of a refund for the original booking and they couldn't refund another hotel. Even though we were forced to book another hotel because Priceline let us book a hotel that's been permanently closed for months. Awful company, awful experience, awful customer service.

For me $214 is a lot for 3 days but it saved me from have to stress about ubering hotel to hotel costing me maybe more. Being in a place where you only have yourself to depend on if something goes wrong is scary. PRICELINE made sure I understood how that felt because them overbooking my hotel became way more than a "oops! Sorry for the small inconvenience. Here's $33 extra dollars you'll be refunded with the $214 we charged you...IN 4 DAYS!!!".

The customer service guy who I could barely understand told I would be refunded the following day. I was in tears. How could I afford a room without my money for the 3 days I already paid for? I asked Priceline if they can find me another hotel close and get me my room there using the $214 I already paid them. I was told no and sorry for the inconvenience but lucky me I'll have $33 extra dollars towards a room when I receive my refund in 1 day. So I had to find another hotel close and hope it wasn't expensive. Priceline wouldn't even help me find one. I was told to go on their website AGAIN and book a room!!!! WTF!!!!

So at this point I'm irritated but I thought just a few more bucks and then tomorrow I'll be okay when I get refunded. I found a hotel and paid for 1 night at $82. The uber cost about $30 so that was already over $100 extra this inconvenience cost me so far... The next day I haven't received my refund and I had to check out from the night before. I called customer service and gave them every confirmation number I had yet for some reason they couldn't find any trip I had booked or refund I was suppose to get. I called Priceline 3x in tears thinking I would have to sleep in the streets for a night. I got nowhere and someone helping me and kept being told "I'm sorry maam, is there another confirmation number we can use? I'm sorry ma'am there's no one else for us to transfer you to."

Again I asked if they can pay for the room I was at until my refund went through. I was told no and directed to the Priceline website. I ended up having to call my dad because I was short the money to get another night. Of course for some reason the hotel ended up being more than the night before. $6 difference but that was huge in my situation. So now at this point I have $0 and will need 1 more night the following day and still no refund. I call Priceline again because now my vacation has turned into me sleeping all day after crying and I'm hungry and stressed beyond belief. Still can't find my information and just keep asking me for the same number but this time I'm being told to email them with my info and eventually they'll get back to me.

The first call that second day they hung up on me and another call they just sent me back to the menu options after putting me on hold. The 3rd day I already knew my luck was crap so I called my dad again and this time he paid for the room in full plus money for the uber I'll need the following day to the airport. Guess what happened the last night of my 3 day stay! I received only the $33 for the inconvenience from 2 days prior. I wasn't refunded until I got home and that was because I contacted my bank after day 2 of nothing. All I was able to do for my 3 day vacation was cry, stress, be hungry and sleep until I was able to go home. My dad wasn't happy with for borrowing money and It cost me over $600 for my trip but because of Priceline's little "inconvenience".

The plane tickets, the ubers and the hotel rooms I paid for were pointless and wasted. I still can't find a number to call that doesn't send me to their overseas customer service center. Which is a joke when you need help. They literally just repeat saying they're sorry, asking the same question as if the last time they asked I just said it wrong. You ask for a supervisor or how to talk to someone else and they will tell you "I'm sorry" and go silent as if that should be the end to my issues or put you on hold redirecting to someone else you will have to explain it to all over again. I'm super pissed off at Priceline and I feel helpless and ripped off.

Booked a 2 Queen Room. When I arrived it was a contactless check in, they had my key and info taped to the front office door with my name on it. NO ONE WAS WORKING AT THE MOTEL. Once I got to my room it only had 1 queen bed. I contacted the phone # listed on the paper work for the motel and left a message. I also texted that same #. Never had a response from them. I reached out to PRICELINE as that is who I booked my stay through. After being on the phone with them for over an hour while they tried to reach the motel management unsuccessfully. They told me I would get a refund but that I needed to send an email with a picture of the room and picture of the front office showing that no one was there. I did all that was asked and never received a refund.

I reached out again to PRICELINE and they asked me to send another email with the same info and pictures to a different email address. I did and still have not received a refund. I called and they said they needed to send it to?!?! Stop jerking me around and give me the refund! BREACH OF CONTRACT. The Motel is ADOBE SANDS In Panguitch Utah. NEVER STAY THERE!

Terrible company, booked a car through them. Pickup said Vancouver airport. It was incorrect. It was at a mall, they provided zero information about a shuttle that was required. When tried speak to customer service they just said, "We can’t help you," & ended the conversation. The online help chat wouldn’t provide me a customer service email. They said they didn’t have one.

I booked my wife and I a trip which included round trip flights and a car. We had no issues with the first flight to our destination. It was the flight home that Priceline nearly screwed us. The night before our flight home, I went to check in to Alaska Airlines via the link Priceline provided and as I tried, I was given the error that I need to check in to American Airlines, Alaska's sister company. I tried doing that multiple times and was consistently given the error that our reservation didn't exist. I called Priceline that evening and spoke to someone who barely spoke English, so the language barrier made it very difficult to convey the issue.

She finally understood our issue and confirmed that, in fact, there was an issue. She said she didn't have the capability to help and would transfer us to someone who could. We were then sent to a second person who barely spoke English and who was super rude and short with me. I first asked her to hold on the line as I tried to check in and she told me she would as long as I was quick, as she was in a rush. Great customer Service. She also confirmed that we were unable to check in and told us to 'not worry, just go 3-4 hours early in the morning and check in at the airport.' She also couldn't even give us a flight number so I had no way to even check if our flight existed or was on time. Our flight was at 7:45am and I told her that this was completely unacceptable and that I was not getting up at 3am in the hopes that I would have a flight.

She finally asked if I wanted to be transferred to Alaska Air and I said yes. Within two minutes, I was speaking to someone that spoke English enough to understand our situation, informed me that they don't have any way to look up our flight with Priceline's info but was able to find it by looking up my name. This whole thing took over an hour just to confirm we were actually on a flight. I've used nearly every travel site and will never use Priceline again. Be aware. Absolutely horrible customer service and you may not even be able to check in to your flight.

Trip to Orlando Florida. Get to car rental and they wanted a major credit card for deposit. I travel with $1000 prepaid cards. They would not except them, or debit. Before the trip. They assured me all was good to go. We were not able to get the car form them. But they were nice enough to redirect us to someone else. Paid $166 more but we had a car. The car rental issue made our whole vacation go bad. So bad.

On 9/15/2022, I attempted to cancel my booking (Trip# 1**, Confirmation #**, #**) via their "Chat with Priceline" option. I began the conversation at 8:46PM, requested to cancel my booking, provided my trip number, confirmed my phone number, my trip number was verified and I was given the message I would be transferred to a hotel agent. At 8:54pm, I received another message asking to please be patient while connecting to an agent, and a final message stating, "Our wait times are running longer than normal, so this may take a few minutes. In the meantime, if you are looking to cancel your Trip, make changes, or place a special request you can find these options under My Trips section. We will be with you ask quickly as possible."

At 8:58pm, I received a message saying, "Hello! My name is Mary. I am reviewing the information you have sent. I may be needing additional information in order for us to proceed. One moment, please." That was the last message I received on 9/15/2022 and was never assisted any further. I opened the chat again in the morning, 9/16/2022, and noticed nothing had been sent and my booking had not been cancelled. So I began the chat all over, was transferred to a hotel agent name Tanisha, I explained our plans were cancelled due to a babysitter cancelling, etc. She said, "I understand you wish to cancel. I see there was a free cancellation until Sept 15 at 11:59PM and the room can no longer be cancelled." I explained I was waiting and speaking with a hotel agent the night prior and she said she didn't see an interaction with me the previous day.

I sent her the screenshots of the conversation (see attached) and she stated "there is no record of interaction with an actual agent and not just with a bot. It is passed the time to cancel. The room is truly non-refundable. Thank you for your time." With that, she ended the conversation... this is unacceptable! I called the customer service number shortly after and was given the same information. I am outraged that I attempted to cancel within the free cancelation window, was not assisted, tried to follow up and explain my experience and was not even given the option of credit! Nothing was resolved and I am out $150 for a hotel room I won't even see. Absolute nonsense. I will never book with Priceline again.

Hello I would never recommend this flight. I went on their website and it said and I quote, "241$ per person flight from Vancouver to Cancun total price 961. 72 American which is 1265.76." When I called in first lady said 700$ a ticket per person I called again 600$ a ticket called again 450 a ticket... When I told them about what their website said they told me not to rely on the website... Why have a website if you're not going to follow through with the price on website. Then I asked them to book it over the phone. I gave the lady the reference number and she said she was not trained to book flights so she transferred me to someone else and she said same thing. Scam scam scam.

I used to use Priceline all the time before COVID-19.. The Southern California area was very competitive and prices, taxes, and fees were reasonable providing you looked carefully.. After the pandemic, the entire site has become a joke.. not to mention that because I did not book a room for an extended period of time, I suddenly lost my Platinum benefits as a member despite having spent probably more than $20,000 over the course of a couple of years on Priceline..

Additionally, the 'taxes and fees' added to a hotel room now are absolutely ridiculous.. Only a sap would use Priceline... To put it mildly, a $49 hotel room will cost you almost 80 bucks after taxes and fees for one night.. $160 for two.. higher priced rooms' extra fees are worse.. Rental cars are also overpriced.. The only part of Priceline that I might consider using would be to book an airline ticket occasionally... But that comes out to about 10% of what I used to use it for... Sadly, you have to look elsewhere and you have to work harder than Priceline.

They are the worst company! My husband and I prepaid for a trip with hotel, flight, and car rental. The hotel was horrible it stunk soo bad in the whole hotel! It had black mold all over in the bathroom. I have pictures because I couldn't believe this was acceptable, it looked liked it hadn't been cleaned in a long time. We wore flip flops in the shower because we were Afraid to catch something. I asthma so it is a big deal to us but we had no other option since we prepaid for this trip so we were stuck there till we able to come back home and there was spilled whatever it was by the bed, no extra pillows.

1st breakfast that was only two juices, two cereals and some Hostess coffee cake which were gone by the time my husband got there then the next day they only had cereal and some reduced price milk that was sitting out, and the last day they said due to emergency there is no breakfast and the housekeeping was demanding tips from us. There was fights and prostitution going on around the hotel and I tried to talk to Priceline about the hotel and all they could offer me was a 20% coupon compensation that expires on December 12th!

My husband and I don't have any immediate plans to take a trip at the moment so that coupon doesn't even apply to us and they wouldn't do anything else for us. I will never book through them again, they will just take your money and keep it!! It saddened me that they can do that with our hard earned money, I will let everyone know not to book with them unless they want to just lose money and get crap in return!!

I contacted Priceline and set up a trip for Miami, Florida in October this year. I asked for a ocean view. When I contacted the hotel, they informed me I was given a city view and there was nothing I can do about it. However, they said they can cancel and rebook the room for $150 more a night. However, the hotel told me there was no difference in the room rates, However they couldn't help me because I booked by the 3rd party (Priceline). It is pretty upsetting because now I am stuck with their mistake; unless I want to pay over an extra $800 for the 5 days. Lastly, most of the reps I spoke with barely spoke English and this could have been the communication era with them. Priceline told me they can put in a request, however I probably won't get the room I want. So, I am stuck and frustrated. I am not sure if I will use Priceline again.
