In the process of making a booking with priceline.com my wife and I found before we even clicked to accept our booking that we were charged three times intending for the flight component of the trip. We then did not complete our booking and we're told we needed to wait 3-7 business days before those pending charges would be reversed. Again I want to be clear we never actually booked the trip. We were in the review process and found those charges on my wife's account before we even accepted our booking. We were charged without our consent three times for flights that we were intending to take only one time and never even gave consent or completed the order process. The actions taken were illegal. The response from customer service was inadequate and the fact that we have to wait over a week before we can book our trip based on our money being tied up is unconstitutional.

Priceline states on my hotel reservation that they follow the hotel's modification/cancellation policy. I had to change a date due to a scheduling conflict at work. I called the hotel and they approved the modification. Priceline refuses to call the hotel to confirm the modification and later tell me that it's Priceline policy that a change cannot be made. I asked to speak with a manager. They told me the same thing and they will not budge. I am out $300 for a one nights stay and will never use Priceline again and would advise others to take precautions as well.

I booked a car rental through Priceline. The car rental company called me to tell me the days were not available and that I needed to call Priceline to get a refund. Well I did that. I rebooked another car with another company. When I called priceline to let them know what had happened they refunded the first car and then informed me that I could have matched the price of the second car if I would have rented the same type of car for the same days I rented the second car for the same days but it was a more economical car. They would not help me or match the price which they said they would have if I would have gotten the same car.

I explained to them that have they put on their website that this was available and the terms that they needed it would have been very helpful to customers to call Priceline first to let them know what has happened. Now they won't help me, they won't match the price and just pretty much just said that that's not on their website that they couldn't help me with the price. So yeah definitely horrible experience. I ended up paying four times the amount of the car rentals that I previously had. Will not recommend Priceline to no one.

My passport was expiring within 6 months so the airline refused me to board due to that matter. My ticket was cancelled and I forced to return home. The Priceline staff are very unprofessional, very rude and don't know anything about customer service. Their overseas employees do not have call recording which can lead to them literally mistreating you and racial profiling. I have been in contact with Priceline call center for a week and half and so far nothing has been resolved.

How am I to know what the room is until I check in, please make it make sense. So I said so Priceline is screwing me out of my money, all she would say is, "We cannot give you full or partial refund" and they not doing anything to compensate. Don't recommend to anyone ever again to go thru Priceline. I won't either as well.

In December I had made a hotel reservation through Priceline.com and an emergency came up where the event I was traveling for became canceled and was being rescheduled due to the fact the hosts contracted COVID-19. At the time of finding this out I reached out to Priceline about changing the travel dates if it would be possible and if it would not I would still go and make it a couple's weekend with my husband. The Priceline rep assured me I could receive a refund if I rebooked with the same hotel when I received the new dates. The representative at the time failed to inform me that this request had to be made prior to the initial check-in date. This was extremely infuriating to discover as I TOLD the rep I did not know when I would get the new dates and did it matter when I called to rebook to which they clearly stated it would not.

I have since received the new dates and attempted to rebook but have been told I will not receive the refund as the initial check-in date has passed and I have been listed as a no show, From my standpoint I have followed through on everything I was told I needed to do and am now out about 276$. I would greatly like my money back as this was not my fault as the customer and I followed through on what the Priceline representative said I needed to do in order to make use of the money spent on a service I did not ultimately receive.

I prepaid for an Infiniti QX60 in Dec. They didn’t have the car or even close that was promised for the reservation. I was told since I prepaid it is basically a voucher. I felt like they were trying to price gouge me since it was a holiday weekend. They offered me a downgrade of a jeep Cherokee or pay $240 more an upgrade. The whole point of a reservation is to make sure you have what was promised as paid not be told you paying in advance is a voucher and there’s nothing they can do.

My reservation name was my user name for priceline, first name Nurse last name my first name. I called Priceline, and they said they could not change the name on the reservation even though my email account is my full first and last name as is my credit card I used for the reservation. So spent so much time on Kayak to book my flight tickets to Vietnam, and the Kayak website redirected me to Priceline.com. I tried to book whatever was available from the previous search anyway. Priceline won't let me book it; it does not matter how many times I tried, so they set it up where you would not be able to get any deal. So I called their agent, and they are on commission, and I finally bought a ticket that was over 150$ more than what had shown that's beside the 100$ insurance.

Then I found a better price on another website, so I called in to cancel my ticket, which they have a 24 free cancellation. Still, the representative who sold me the flight ticket lied and said that the 24hours time frame had expired, which has not, then I told him that check my booking time and he said, "I'm sorry," that he had lookup someone else—just so many problems one after another. I'm not prejudiced, but I could not understand half of the time that we talked, so I asked for an American representative, and he told me that no American is working for the company. With my experience from Priceline, I advise anyone who reads this review to be cautious and not to waste your time and effort of going through what I had experienced.

Canceling a flight was a nightmare - took multiple hour long phone calls to finally get confirmation of my flight credit as they kept refusing to send emails confirming it. A few months later, I try to use this credit... Every representative I spoke with barely spoke English and would dance around my questions. Took nearly 4 hours of very rude and obnoxious phone calls to get my flight booked along with my partner's (who also had the same credit as me). The man said that my confirmation information and such would be emailed within 10 minutes... 24 hours later, nothing. So I call them back (currently on the phone as I'm writing) and am told nothing was ever booked.

I throw a small fit at the representative explaining my experience so far - which results in her putting me on hold without warning. She comes back ~10 minutes later explaining that only my partner's flight was booked and that nothing is booked for me... So I asked for the information of the man I spoke to the previous day, but she says she isn't able to give it to me. So now I'm on a 30 minute (so far) hold while she "re-books" my flight... I will never use this company again, nor skiplagged, no matter the price savings.

When I booked my hotel I was not notified they changed the number of guests, now 2 days before my trip I reach out to Priceline customer service to see what happened and their representative basically told me their search filter is useless and I quote "you cannot choose the number of guests in a room". If you cannot choose more than two guests in a room why does the search bar allow it? Now they say I have to deal with the hotel myself. I booked online with them so I would not have to speak directly with the hotel about my reservation. Why book with a third party if they are just going to take your money and lie about your reservation and when you request assistance they tell you to deal with it yourself and pay more if necessary as they refuse to refund.

NEVER AGAIN would I use Priceline as a third party. I was trying to make a reservation using the bundle deal option, once I found the deal that fit my budget it was now time to fill in my personal information. I filled out all the information in and then when it was time for the checkout I pressed the continue button only to see a message appear saying "sorry we are all booked (for the flight)" let us help you find you another flight. So I finally found another one only to be told that I have insufficient funds in my account. So what had happened was Priceline went into my account and placed a hold on the flight fare so now I must wait 3-5 business days just to see that money back in my account.

I spoke with three different supervisors for a total of two hours only for them tell me in other words, we can care less about your situation you must wait those 3-5 business days no matter what. By then the deal would be gone, I just can't understand why they couldn't do anything to assist this situation. I seriously hate Priceline and will never do business with them again. Great prices. I booked a hotel / flight package with Priceline to go to a wedding in Las Vegas. Due to a work project, I had to delay my trip by one day. I thought the change would be very routine for them and it would be a simple phone call. I had to stay at a particular hotel. Two days after my call with Priceline, I called the hotel to make sure my reservation had been changed. I found Priceline had never contacted them regarding the change. The hotel did tell me I could not personally change my reservation; and, if I do not check in on the day they have in their system, I would be considered a "delinquent traveler" and my reservation with them would be cancelled.

I called Priceline every day for 7 days asking them to change my hotel reservation and it was never changed. I finally booked the hotel under my sisters name to ensure I had a room for my stay. I checked with the hotel when I arrived and asked if there was a reservation under my name and they said, "No, I was a delinquent traveler".

The 2nd bad experience with this trip was that I had to personally contact the airlines and cancel my reservations. What a nightmare... It seems the only thing Priceline has going for them is their ability to negotiate better rates. However, given the option of less stress vs better rates, I will choose less stress. I do need to add all of the Priceline representatives I spoke to were very nice and professional. The last representative I spoke to did call the hotel to try and change my check-in date; however, the hotel was experiencing long wait times and she couldn't wait on hold until they answered. GOOD GRIEF. I spent hours on the phone with Priceline trying to delay my trip by a single day. I don't think it was too much to ask for them to hold the line for 15 minutes to ensure my hotel reservation was intact. 2 THUMBS DOWN.

After some initial issues with flight inventory changing mid-booking, I finally got all the way through to find my credit card was declined. After several hours on the phone with my banks, I learned that they were, in fact, APPROVING transactions from Priceline - they saw it happen in real-time. But Priceline never completed the transactions.

When I called Priceline repeatedly for help, they continuously told me to call my bank to find out why they were declining transactions even after telling them that wasn't what was happening. I asked the final rep who can look at the transactions to see where, exactly it was failing, he said, "Nobody at Priceline can do that, call your bank." In short, without saying it directly, they said I cannot book through Priceline. Nice. Good luck to anyone else who needs their support. It's horrible.

I've used Priceline for many years and, generally, my experiences have been very good. However, as of late, this has not been the case. The most frustrating part is the very poor customer service. We recently rented a SUV for a family vacation through Priceline. Our reservation time was 12pm. We arrived at the car rental agency at 12pm and were told they were closed for the day! They offered to send us to another car rental location but, at this point, all the rentals had been taken.

We immediately contacted Priceline to ask for assistance. We were told they were not responsible for posting accurate rental times on their website but they would refund our money. We ultimately had to borrow a vehicle for vacation and three weeks later no refund had arrived. Our first phone call to Priceline to follow up on the refund was fruitless. We were promised the refund within 72 additional hours; nothing came. In our second call, the representative indicated the refund had not been processed correctly and, success, our refund arrived a short time after.

Our next experience was worse. We made a hotel reservation based on the amenities listed on Priceline's website; specifically, an onsite restaurant (an image was attached) and a gym. When we arrived, we were surprised the hotel had neither. The image of the "restaurant" was simply the tables for the continental breakfast. We called Priceline and were told they were not responsible for the image or the listing of amenities. In the end we were offered a small refund. And again, 16 days later, we have yet to receive the refund.

We've followed up with two different phone calls. First, we were told that the refund was successfully processed, and the problem was PayPal. A follow up phone call with PayPal indicated this wasn't true. Next, we were told the funds were refunded and it was not Priceline's fault we didn't receive the funds. However, Priceline would "investigate" the matter on our behalf. So, buyer beware. If all goes well with your reservation, you'll no doubt be happy with Priceline's competitive prices. However, should something go awry due to misinformation on their website, you will receive little help. Any promises of refunds will result in several frustrating phone calls with an outsourced customer service department who will be difficult to understand and offer little to no real assistance.

I used Priceline to book my hotel reservation, I was told to book in a certain hotel but the agent suggested on her own, I did not ask for a cheaper hotel and she stated that the hotel she was suggesting a 2.5 star hotel was better quality than a 4 star. I was concerned but she worked for Priceline so I assumed that she knew what she was talking about. When I arrived I smelled urine at the front entrance and poor lighting. Reluctantly I checked in hoping room would better. I was wrong, I found black mold in the shower ceiling, rusted air vents, mildew on the curtains, broken desk and something smeared on the walls. The comforters were worn and overall the room was terrible. Priceline accepts no responsibility for their agent's action by suggesting another hotel when I stated which hotel I wanted to rent and saying that a 2.5 star hotel was better than a 4 star. They are shifting the responsibility to the hotel to refund the money and they have done nothing wrong.

If I could give no stars I would. Honestly this has been the worst experience ever. I booked a reservation with Red Roof Inn using Priceline. After I checked in I brought all my belongings inside and laid down to then watch a Cockroach walk across my bed. First thing I did was contact Red Roof Management who notified me Priceline is the third party I am to contact for my refund. When I contacted Priceline the representative was not useful at all! He explained Priceline is unable to provide a refund no matter the issues with the Hotel. That is horrible! A roach was on my bed where I am to sleep and my refund can not be provided? I have video proof and nothing? "Oh a 20% off your next visit." I am a VIP Member with Priceline and I must say they have lost a customer.

I have used Priceline in the past many times. They have great deals most the time but their customer service has always been a little weak but usually I can tolerate it. This past weekend I have had the worst experience with them. I got a hotel thru them that turned out to be a horror story. But that wasn’t their fault. It was how they felt with the situation after. I was lied to on multiple occasions. We asked for a refund because the hotel accommodations were unacceptable. Priceline claimed to make attempts to the hotel to verify the cancellation for our return. We were told that we would have our refund within a half hour.

We were left in the cold waiting in our car for the refund so we could make other arrangements in the middle of the night. After sitting in the cold and waiting for over an hour we attempted to see why our refund was not going thru. We called and they told us they could not verify the cancellation so we had to wait at least 24 hours. When we refused to wait they claimed the hotel only said we had a partial cancellation which was not true at all. As we were standing in front of the staff they never made contact with them. After hours and multiple attempts they finally agreed to a full refund. It has been a few days and we still have not received our full refund.

I have been charged for a non refundable non amendable trip however Priceline cancelled my reservation on me months later just two weeks before my wife’s birthday trip out of the country. We have non refundable plane tickets, friends locked into the hotel we are supposed to be at. The hotel is available with our same room on their agoda partner site they said they book through RIGHT NOW. I’m looking at it and their highest support says it isn’t there and tries to blame the hotel for cancelling.

I have contacted the hotel multiple times and they have assured me had a valid reservation for quite a while until Priceline has now cancelled it. Just weeks before we would now be paying GREATLY more to just rebook somewhere else. I am out thousands of dollars with multiple situations I am looking at by doing nothing wrong on my end at all. Besides this wife Christmas and birthday gift gone and friends stranded at a hotel to celebrate her where she now won’t be thanks to Priceline yet no support person says they have the ability to help only refund my great rate they advertised and charged me for months ago.

It was 30 minutes from the airport and we were took to a store, dropped off, picked up by someone else, took to a parking lot and caught another ride before getting to the rental car company. We had to return the car a day early and stay the night at the airport because they would not provide us with a ride to the airport the following morning because our flight was at 5:25am and it was before business hours for them. The place was in a "bad area" and the whole situation was just bad!! It was paid for so we had no choice but to use them. I will NEVER make this mistake again.

I was robbed. I needed to stay at a hotel for a single night in two weeks time and reserved a room at the Hotel Zamora in St. Petersburg Beach, FL via Priceline.com. The wrong date was reserved by the website - or - the right date never accepted; which one we'll never know. The Priceline.com web site chose and reserved the room for the VERY NEXT DAY with no cancellations being able to be made in less than 48 hours which meant a simple website error would cost me $200.

I called Priceline a total of 8 times and The Hotel Zamora 5 times explaining their mistake to customer service reps who simply read from a script stating there was nothing they could do. Both Priceline AND the Hotel Zamora, both refused to acknowledge the computer/network/web site error despite the website showing my attempt to reserve the actual day I needed! Both pathetically hid behind policy excuses with The Hotel Zamora stating their policy offers no "modifications or exceptions," nor can they change dates despite it being an error and "it's clearly a Priceline glitch, not ours," while Priceline stated multiple times that "the Hotel is the only one who can make the exception or modification," and "we can't make contact with the Hotel."

Now, I'm out $200+ for absolutely NO REASON other than no one wanted to step up to correct a very simple problem. Since the Hotel benefitted from my loss, I now have to take the Hotel Zamora to Small Claims Court where either an Attorney for Zamora Hospitality Group, LLC or an officer/member of the LLC must show up to court. You think better business sense would prevail and they would simply correct the date to keep a customer happy instead of having to pay people (an Attorney or a 'Member' of the LLC as per FL Small Claims Rule 7.050) to sit in court all day and risking more bad reviews on their site? NOPE! They'd rather steal from the little guy hoping he'll do nothing about it and keep quiet!

She said sure, when she completed the cancellation she notified me I was being charged 77.00 for cancelling. I said WHAT? She said if I had a problem take it up with Priceline. After about 30 minutes doing chat back and forth with priceline they told me that it was non refundable no matter what. I said I feared for my safety and they said it's non refundable. Well I did get loud then and was furious. I asked for my room key saying I guess I am being forced to stay here. Well the receptionist said she had cancelled it and no way to redo it. So yes I did get a little more mad. I asked her to call the manager.

When the manager arrived she said I would need to leave the property. Well it turned out to be a little more than 80.00. I left and went to a different hotel in a nicer neighborhood. Don't use priceline non refundable rate because no matter what you will be stuck at a bad place. This was labeled 3 stars by priceline. After the incident I went back online and checked out all reviews from other than priceline and it came up as 2 stars.

We booked a 'bundle deal' with car and flight and to save money we opted for the not getting our flight time until after booking. THEY BOOKED OUR CAR TO BE RETURNED 24 HOURS BEFORE OUR FLIGHT. We immediately called to have them extend the car rental. They said we had to talk to the counter when we picked up the car. After a canceled flight and 8 hour delay, getting to our destination after midnight, the car rental was closed. We had to get an driver to take us to our hotel (which was far away, because we thought we'd have a car), then back to the airport - about $100 for the cheapest Lyfts. Finally picking up the car the next day, the counter told us we had to talk to Priceline to extend the reservation. Priceline is insisting there is absolutely nothing they can to do compensate or extend our rental. This has been ridiculously frustrating.

I have spent every night on this vacation calling Priceline because they are charging me for a hotel reservation that when I arrived electricity was out so they could not check me in... Priceline cannot get a hold of the hotel so they are charging me for it! Same trip... I rented a car in a different country, and when we showed up to the car rental place there was nobody there to give us our rental car. Guess what Priceline is doing? Charging me because they said the car rental place was not open on a Saturday and that I should have gone on Monday to pick up the car rental. WHY THE HECK DID THEY ALLOW ME TO RESERVE A CAR ON SATURDAY IF THEY ARE NOT EVEN OPEN ON THAT DAY?!?! Plus now we are 40 minutes away from the airport, and their idea of common sense is that I should have to pay for Saturday and Sunday for a car when the rental company was not even open (yet allowed me to make the reservation nonetheless).

So now after being on the phone for 30 minutes with Priceline they let me know they cannot reimburse me until they get a hold of the car rental company, which surprise surprise I was unable to do when I called their customer service (Fox rental/Europcar). I have literally used Priceline hundreds of times and have never had issues like this until the past three or four months. They get that money from these reservations and they make it a pain in my butt to get reimbursed If the company does not come through from me. Come on Priceline. Be an advocate for your clients. Vacation days were planned, family was notified, who also scheduled days off to pick her up from the airport, go get a rental car, and make all other necessary arrangements. We were checking emails on a daily basis, making sure flights were not changed or canceled and that all plans throughout were a go. We even purchased a new home printer to print out her itinerary that Priceline provided. On the day of her scheduled flight, we traveled 70 miles to the airport with itinerary in hand, still checking emails on the way. When we got to the counter and tried to print out her boarding passes, they informed us that they had nothing for us today for a flight from Reno to Lansing and that it had been rescheduled.

Priceline NEVER informed us via email or otherwise of this change, but made sure to send several emails a week on "great deals on hotels and rental cars". The good people at the ticket counter said that the flight was changed on the 14th, on which we received no notification from Priceline. On the 13th they sent us an updated itinerary that was in fact identical to the original one. After that was just more advertisements. We were lucky enough for a flight the following day, but now we have to travel an additional 140 plus miles and return at 4 am to the airport where there will be 3 flights back to back being booked at the same counter. We understand things happen, but some proper notification that we relied on was due, but we never received it. Would NOT recommend Priceline.

Each ticket costing at $1009.40 +Taxes and fees: $245.04 for a subtotal of $5017.76 and just to be on the safe side an added $400 of insurance thru Allianz Trip Protection (it’s the option Priceline gives you automatically during check out but doesn’t highlight that’s it’s insurance thru a different vendor and not an in-house Priceline team) making it a total of $5419.20. Unfortunately the Omicron virus strand came along and everyone we know overseas got it and it’s spreading fast as we hear from friends and family. We have 2 kids 7, 5 and I myself am incredibly high risk as I’m going thru chemo. After taking into consideration my team of doctor’s advice and well common sense we decided to cancel our tickets until times are better to travel overseas.

When we booked our tickets it was a matter of minutes. Everything done. However now that we are trying to cancel we have spent countless hours on the phone with Priceline. Some nice and willing to go out of their way to help but majority of extremely unhelpful and rude customer service agents. The insurance we purchased was a waste of $400.00. No one answers the phone there ever. We have also filed the claim via email 1 week ago and we have yet to even receive a confirmation from them that they are investigating our case.

When we call Priceline they tell us there is nothing they can do so we call Emirates. The airline is very clear since we purchased from a 3rd party we have to deal with them. However they helped us by taking our names off the list so we don’t become no shows for our flight and lose the whole amount. We call Priceline right back but they transfer us around with no real help. 1 customer service agent was really helpful and was on the final step of refunding our money but got disconnected as he was giving us the confirmation #. Then we called back multiple times since and some agents say they have emailed the airline, some say they have no records of any email and we have to call the insurance (who by the way 9 days into trying to cancel we have yet to be able to get ahold of a single agent or hear back via email).

In these unusual times where companies are refunding travel tickets without question there also exists Priceline who makes you cry out of frustration every step of the way! For the last 9 days we have spent at least 3-4 hours each day trying to call around get an answer for how we can get our money back! Never ever doing business with them. 1st and last!

I was on the phone for 3 HOURS with Priceline customer service.

They couldn't tell me who cancelled the reservation but told me I should look for another hotel and make a reservation there because there were "none available" in the hotel I was currently waiting in. The staff at the hotel, assured me while looking at their system, they in fact had several available rooms. Priceline then booked me a room at the WRONG hotel and said they couldn't undo the booking and that my option was to travel to the other hotel for the night or pay out of pocket to stay where I was. After 3 hours, they finally were able to fix the reservation at the hotel where I was and refunded me $25 for the "inconvenience". This is the WORST "customer service" I had ever experienced. I will NEVER book with them again and you should not trust them with your travel.

I booked multiple trips through Priceline for the later half of last year and throughout this year. After I go through my last trip that I booked through Priceline, I don't think I'll ever book with them again. For the second time that I've requested a refund through them for a trip that I couldn't make, I've run into a wall. Despite the fact that I've booked my trips ENTIRELY through them, when asking for a refund, they give you other airlines and booking agents to call.

If ever you're looking for a refund, be prepared for long wait times and endless amounts of transfers and repeating your issues over and over. It took me 2 days of phone calls and emails to get a refund. And after all that, you may not get even half of the money that you prepaid for the trips (I got a measly $300+ return for a trip that I paid nearly $1000 for; you do the math). Car rentals, in particular, are nonrefundable. Even under military orders, which I've provided(though, I personally feel I shouldn't have to provide), they were unwilling to give me a refund.

Also, I just found it insulting that they would even have the gull to ask me why Japan closed their borders at the moment, knowing full well we are in the middle of another wave in a pandemic. Tbh, I shouldn't have even had to ask for my money back but I digress. I've yet to resolve that particular issue but I already have two different numbers that I have to call, even though I booked the trip through Priceline. I'm anticipating a "resolution" where I won't see much of my money returned back to me. Even though my VIP status with Priceline has been upgraded due to the amount of trips I've booked with them, I don't think I'll ever book with them again. Lastly, I think it's very telling that I've never been asked about how satisfied I've been with the customer service. It's because the customer service is nonexistent.

I had a death in the family. I had purchased the insurance. I first contacted United Airlines and they said I needed to contact Priceline since I purchased my flight from them. I then called Priceline where I was told I needed to contact the insurance company (the insurance which is offered on Priceline's website). I contacted the insurance company (Allianz) who seemed compassionate but only changed the dates of my insurance policy and nothing with my trip. After changing the dates I explained to the gentlemen that I needed to change my flight not my policy. At this point he told me I needed to speak to priceline and put me on hold then forwarded my call back to priceline where I was told I needed to file a claim with the insurance. Sounds like a joke but this really happened to me. I will not buy anything from priceline again-them and their insurance are worthless. Poor customer service with every person I have come into contact with.

The Priceline.com website advertises free 24 hour cancellations by saying "Book a flight with free cancellation for flexibility" and in the same place it asks if you wish to add a rental car. To me, as a customer, it looks like I can add a car and I am still under the Priceline 24 hours to cancel this reservation offer. I attempted to explained to a priceline customer service representative and they were condescending and kept repeating that they are not responsible for the rental car they offer their customers on the priceline.com website

Even though you are still on the priceline.com website, Priceline is not connected to nor do they take accountability for the Rental Car they offer customers on their website (again, on the priceline.com website). It appears as if they are offering free 24 hour cancellation for what a customer purchases. If you have to cancel your flight, even using the flight protection, you get stuck with the car rental. Terribly mis-leading. They need to have a RED FLAG to clearly communicate to the customer that they are not offering 24 hour cancellation with the 'Full' booking through priceline... "CAR IS NOT INCLUDED" in the package deal with 24 hour cancellation.

This is absolutely counter to what their website advertised. I would not have purchased these tickets otherwise. They refuse to let me reschedule, and they refused to give me the name or address of an executive I could contact to address this policy switch. They would only send me an online feedback form. After booking started reading all the fine print to come to the realization that even though I selected DEBIT for car booking pick up. They booked us with Fox rental car. I called Fox and they basically told me, "Too bad. So sad." We have asked Priceline to update their website to not show cars from them when Debit was selected. So I call Priceline.

ABSOLUTELY the worst customer service ever! The people were rude and all they would do is cancel my reservation. I am not sure how it is okay for Priceline to book me with a car rental company and then be like, "Oh well..." So I asked to speak with a supervisor and the guy told me he was the last one to talk to. Then I requested again and he took my number to supposedly have someone call me back in a few minutes of being on the phone for 4 hours being transferred to different departments to still be waiting for that call 2 hours and 14 minutes later. I had to rebook losing my bundle and save price and costing me a little over $500 extra dollars for the same car different company.

We book at least once a year using Priceline and I always recommend Priceline to have every single opinion change that fast. I will not let this go! I understand if this was my mistake but I even read the link attached and it was still saying you could check out with debit as long as you have a Return flight and further way from home than 150 miles. They would hold a deposit on the card. It's all CRAP!! Do better Priceline, Do better!

The man on the phone was incredibly rude (I thought he was having a bad day, but no they're all like that), and he refused to honor my reservation. He literally canceled my reservation and then also refused to give me a car rental for a different date or a refund. He instructed me to do a chargeback through my credit card and hung up on me. Months later, Priceline is disputing the claim with fraudulent and false information. They reported that I asked to cancel the reservation, which is untrue, I had to rent a car from somewhere else because they wouldn't honor my reservation.

They also requested that I submit the rental agreement or invoice I received at the time of making the reservation, which is a joke because they know they didn't send me anything. Turns out, Priceline doesn't have the rental agreement or invoice either. Priceline submitted a screenshot of a website page where they entered in information to make up the details of a car rental at my same price, but they're idiots because the screenshot says at the top "Almost done! Enter your details and complete your booking now." It isn't even a screenshot of my car rental, it's all fabricated. I can't get my money back because they keep submitting fake and fraudulent info, numerous examples beyond the one above, and they scammed me out of $244.69.

I called Priceline back and the man was just as rude as the last time I had to speak with a representative over there. He told me that I was basically a fool for filing a dispute because now I will never get a refund and that he refuses to give me documentation regarding the cancelation because it can be submitted to help my claim. He also hung up on me. Do everything you can to avoid this company at all costs. There are plenty of cheap car rental, travel agency, etc. services out there that won't scam you and steal your money. I had to go in between various counters for 2 hours before getting a very uncertain resolution, which put the whole trip at risk of me being stranded in a foreign country. With covid the situation gets even worse because each country has their own quarantine, vaccine and testing requirements. I will never book with them again and would caution others to do so either, especially for international or travel with different airlines connecting flights.

I bundled a flight plus hotel with Priceline to Cancun early in the pandemic. Priceline cancelled my flight the night before my flight and declined to offer any alternative flights, flights which the airline offered to everyone directly. Priceline then pocketed all of the $650 I used to reserve the hotel without refunding. An airline representative told me that they did offer alternative flights to Priceline to provide to me, but Priceline simply "doesn't care" and neglected to pass it on. I'm now reaching out to NBC's consumer investigations to share my experience.

Air Canada has proved that the money was returned to Priceline. It doesn't matter, Priceline will not follow through. Imagine...every time you call you are on hold for hours. Then, when you finally get through you are put back in a queue for a Supervisor who will not provide their contact information but will provide lip service with, "oh, I'm so sorry I will escalate and we will be back in touch within 72 hours". Worst experience I have ever had. I had a family trip planned to TX the week before Christmas. After making a mistake on my reservation I contacted Priceline to get it fixed but then they told me I needed to contact NU the car rental Place directly, Even though I directly booked through PRICELINE!! I spoke to a gentleman over the phone who Confirmed that he could change my time and that it was ok for me To Pick up my car at 7 in stage of 12. I took a Uber to the place to pick up my vehicle only to be met with an EXTREMELY INSENSITIVE UNPROFESSIONAL SUPERVISOR WHO told me she would not be able to provide me my vehicle. I explained I had my 3 children waiting to leave and the rep told me I could. She continued to explain she, “Did not care who I spoke to or what they said. They would not honor it.”

I proceeded to ask her if I could speak to her manager and she said no and proceeded to call Him And tell me he wouldn’t be able to help me. I told her even if I couldn’t get my car I wanted to tell him my experience and she said “he didn’t want to be bothered.” She then started yelling at me and telling me to leave and I told her, "No. I want to talk to a manager" and she PROCEEDED TO CALL THE POLICE (911) on me. The officer came and luckily he was nice as I am an ** women which it would have went another way. I was going to have to walk to another rental place but fortunately the nice office gave me a ride. I was never able to get my vehicle as the lady said she would not rent to me. It took me 2 hours after that to get a rental on spot. I called NU and Priceline and they refused and refund me my money so now I am out of $210.

DISGUSTING!!! This company is a scam. If it was any other brand they would have never treated me like this. I would have been able to pick up my car and get on the road. This company tries to lure you in with low prices only to steal your money due to their lack of customer service and disrespect. I am going to go up the ladder to corporate until this issue gets resolved because at this point this is theft. I was in tears at how I was treated. Extremely shocked by what the manager said. I have a recording of the way she spoke to me While I was calm. STOP STEALING FROM YOUR CUSTOMERS!!!! I contact Priceline and they refused to help me get my money back! First two times the phone got disconnected after calling 1 hour later and never called back or sent an email to reach where the call left. Had to call them for the third time. Same. Had to schedule for an hour wait time to get a call back from them, once they called and informed the flight number I wanted to book then they said they can't see the price and have to transfer me to different departments which wait time was two hours.

So either I have to wait 2 hours just because they have to confirm the flight number which I clearly saw on Priceline website it's showing or I had to hang up and called them again and start from the first process again. So, after talking with people from two different department waiting for hours still if the call get disconnected have to start from the beginning. Never have seen this bad service with any other organization who provide this worst service. Spend 3 hours of the day, called 3 times. Still couldn't book my flight. Just ridiculous.

Hotels have many hidden charges that Priceline may or may not list. We had $260 dollars tacked on to a recent 4 day stay that was above the listed “total“ price.

Since COVID hotels charge more for cleaning and other so called incidentals that were once included in the listed total price per. Day. Also many hotels charge for parking at their location. My recent stay cost an additional $25 per. Night to park your car. I’m not saying that it’s all Priceline’s fault, just beware of hidden cost that raise the total cost of your stay. Priceline did contact the hotel on our behalf but the hotel remained firm on their extra charges.

I'm not one to write reviews but I'm writing this to warn people about what Priceline is doing with hotel reservations as this just happened to me last week December 2021. I went on a family vacation and had a hotel reservation confirmed through Priceline for over a month. I arrived at the Conrad Hilton Hotel in NY and was told by the hotel manager that Priceline keeps booking their rooms out even though they've called repeatedly and told them there are no rooms available. He said they have 10-15 Priceline families every week arrive and he feels so bad to tell them they have no reservation. My family and I had no rooms, we waited in the lobby for 8 hours while Priceline gave us the runaround and said they were escalating out case to their "Relocation Team" and promised to give us a comparable room.

They never called us back even though we called them at least 10 times to be told each time they were "working on it and be patient and we promised we'll get you another hotel room of comparable value". They never did. Our check-in time came and went and we finally had to pay $1000 more to get another hotel, 1 star less value because everything was sold out that weekend. This trip was ruined due to Priceline. They didn't care. I looked them up and they have thousands of poor reviews just like this where people are stuck without any reservations and all they want to do is cancel your reservation to quickly get them off the hook!

They should be held responsible for the thousands of ruined vacations and they should stop selling what they don't have, especially when they don't care and basically tell you that over the phone - that it's not their problem. I will NEVER use Priceline ever again. NEVER!!! HORRIBLE experience and even more HORRIBLE Company! They get an F in my book. BUYER BEWARE!!!!

Priceline should not be in business any longer. I had to cancel my trip August 2021, due to the rise of COVID again. I was told by the customer service rep that I will have a credit good until 5/2022 and I only had to pay a service fee and taxes. I called Priceline Dec 4 & Dec 5 to schedule a flight due to a death in the family. The original tickets were $286.00 per ticket for a family of 4. The rep said I need to pay an additional $1,000.00 because the prices went up and this what the airline is charging. If you have two different airlines as departure and arrival you will be transferred to different departments. The rep told me she could not give me the discount for Delta, but did not explain why until I became upset about it and then she started yelling and screaming at me over the phone and said the credits are given per each airline department and you will be transferred once I process your American airline tickets.

I ask to speak to a supervisor and she was no help at all. I tried to find something cheaper but the prices were sky rocket high on all other travel sites. The worst part of this I was given misinformation of only just paying for the service fee and taxes. So I ended up paying the extra $1,000.00. The rep said we are going to charge each ticket as an individual transaction because we need your authorization. I advise the rep the this would not be a good idea because my credit card company may suspect fraud activity. And it sure did happen with the last transaction as it was declined. I ended up having to use another credit card which was ridiculous. I received a confirmation from my returning flight, but not the departure which is Dec 09. I called Priceline as of today Dec 08 and was told by two reps they do not see my departure flight confirmation anywhere.

I was transferred to a travel specialist and was told I would be able to speak to a supervisor, but that didn't happen. I was transferred to an automated system to leave a message for the supervisor to call me back, which was over an hour. The good part of this was the supervisor was able to find my flight confirmation for my Dec 09 trip. He could not email me the confirmation, it was received over the phone-(strange). The worse vacation package of my life by far. I took my long term partner on a 5 star "all inclusive" vacation package for 9 days. 1st, we we not told about the new E tickets requirement to enter the Dominican republic, which cause a delay that made us miss our flight departure. After calling customer service, we never got an apology or any type of compensation whatsoever, all that to being told after two hours of being transferred several time and having two call backs, that they were not going t help us out and hang up on me. "I've recorded everything".

2nd, the next day, got the E ticket, got on the plane, and got to the republics. To realize there was no one from Priceline to direct us to our transportation to the hotel. To realize that there was NO Transportation Provided To the Hotel. So, we had to find a taxi and fight off several taxi drivers trying to take off with our luggage, till police came to stop them from fighting among themselves. All that to finally being over charged and being thrown on a small rundown bus from the "our airline".

3rd, extending our stay. This was an ordeal experience of about two days of phone calls of calling the airline and Priceline back and forth just for the airline tickets. Since we missed our first flight they cancelled our return flight. Now it had to be reactivated and reopen to change the date. I did spend a good 8 hours of my vacation on the phone just for this. RIDICULOUS. Anyway, there was other things, but I have already wasted way to much time with them already. I have booked several hotels and several flights with them in the past with no trouble, but for ANY all inclusive packages, I Will Stay Away from them.

I’m writing in regards to our recent booking through Priceline for flights with Alaska Airlines on October 26, 2021. Our experience with Priceline’s customer help was extremely disappointing. Customer service was unprofessional, inaccurate and entirely unhelpful. Upon arrival to Nashville airport to catch our first flight (Nashville - Seattle ###) we were informed that the second flight (Seattle - Victoria ###) was not in their system. We were told to take it up with Priceline since you were the third party vendor that sold us that flight. For the next hour I was on the phone with various agents who gave me opposing information, hung up while they said they were in the midst of booking us a new flight and saying untruths such as “We emailed/called to tell you that the flight was cancelled.” (This was untrue, we received no email and no phone calls. In fact, our itinerary from Priceline still showed the flight as scheduled. See attached screenshots.)

When we arrived to Seattle it became more clear that Flight # was never cancelled, it simply didn’t exist. Agents at Alaska Airlines customer support informed us that there are no Alaska Airlines flights that fly direct from Seattle to Victoria. It is clear that Priceline sold us a non-existent flight. Needless to say, this caused incredible stress, added 24 hours to our travel time for us to actually get home and personally cost us $400 dollars for additional Covid tests since the delay in arrival to Canada caused our initial Covid tests to expire their 72 hour time limit. All of this occurred with absolutely no help from Priceline at all.

I am extremely disappointed in the dishonesty and unprofessionalism from Priceline. We have booked through you dozens of times in the past but I’m sad to say that this has negatively impacted our opinion of you and it is no longer possible to positively recommend you to friends and family as we have in the past. Due to the incredible amount of stress and cost added to us to find our own way home, we expect a full refund of the booking.

We already paid the full amount straight away and it's taking already almost 2 weeks and we haven't been refunded ... we paid full on the 16th and after several phone calls and chats... no response. So a not happy client. If you're road tripping don't choose Priceline or NU Car Rentals. They gave us wrong info and kept on stalling paying us back.

Now Dec 2nd after receiving contradictory info by priceline today Jennifer from the company told me were never going to see our 220 dollars again. First I had to call after 14 days. Then again after 5 cause they weren't able to contact NU. Then they said I had to wait some more only to tell us after 1.5 months later we're not getting our money back at all. We've totally been scammed. We had a valid driver's license and credit card. The reason we got declined was because they just felt like it. We even took a local there to help us out. 1. Starting off, went through Priceline and got charged another $ 1,100 at the hotel for the kids that I included in the booking while searching for a family of 5 (total scam!!!).

    2. Hotel room was nice, staff is very uptight and not friendly. Everything seemed like a burden to them with fake smile.

When we order food, they will not bring half of it (haven’t gotten a single appetizer or a salad in 5 days in all the restaurants even though we ordered it, they will take the order and then just bring our main plate and that’s it.) Food itself was not good. Haven’t gotten a single offer for a drink as well, had to ask for it every time and tip, so they don’t look at you like they hate you lol.

Beach is non existent for swimming. Little area that’s allowed to be in the water and it’s a little over a knee deep. Out of 5 days we only went into the water twice which is a huge bummer :(. Overall I was scared that we won’t get back to USA, everyone and everything seemed sketchy. Priceline has attempted to deflect responsibility, but in fact, they sold me a service and did not provide it at the cost specified. Which is theft. Even if the car rental received the bulk of the financial benefit, priceline received a portion of the money and are therefore responsible. They benefited from this bait and switch, which is illegal. Attempting to deflect responsibility to the car rental agency is dishonest. They are party to the transaction and receive money from it so they bear responsibility. Later, when checking w/ the airline the actual price of that ticket that was charged is $957.10 inclusive of all taxes by the Airline and This agent took almost over $470 extra.

Felix should've confirmed the actual price of the ticket, instead, he charged w/ a higher amount with a variation of $470, and the PRICELINE customer service is so disjointed, no one has a clue how to resolve it and transfer the call from SALES to CUSTOMER SUPPORT and Back to SALES. The supervisory support is not there and very very unpleasant experience!!! I'm disgusted waiting on the call for more than 4-5 hours trying to solve this.

Whatever the 3rd party vendor provides you in support doesn't reflect or sync in your Priceline app or profile. Saturday morning we quickly showered and left for the day. It was about 9pm when we got back to the hotel and noticed HUNDREDS of tiny bugs crawling on a table and on the floor around and under the table. We wiped them from the table several times but each time more scurried up from the floor.

The lady at the front desk said she'd have maintenance come check it out but she couldn't reach him. We tried to get her to look but she wouldn't. In the meantime, we killed another cockroach and videoed the tiny bugs (which I think may have been recently hatched spiders). I called Priceline and after explaining everything to her she called the front desk to find that maintenance wasn't responding and management wouldn't be in until Tuesday. I was assured that if we left I would get refunded on Tuesday. We left... no way would we sleep in there.

Fast forward to Tuesday, I receive an email from Priceline stating that the hotel manager didn't find any evidence of bedbugs and a refund would not be issued. I replied to clarify that I didn't say there were bedbugs and that there were roaches and hundreds of tiny bugs. I asked if I could send them photos and videos of said bugs. They replied again to tell me nothing changes and they will not authorize a refund. Side note: we weren't able to find another hotel and had been awake for over 40 hours by the time we drove "home". We washed ALL of our clothing items when we got home and we had tossed all food that wasn't completely sealed. We even tossed a package of paper plates and plastic silverware just in case tiny bugs had gotten into the packages. It was miserable.

The problem is, that even though the ticket I'm rebooking is $186 less, the agent keeps trying to charge me the difference. When I pointed out the error, he put me on hold 2 minutes. This continued back and forth while I tried to tell him the Priceline and AA site information. Then he finally said the ticket was less and I would lose the extra I paid, and I said that was fine.

Then he asked for my payment method and put me on hold. When I asked him why he kept putting me on hold during the conversation he said it was a procedure that they follow now. 4:18pm, Nov 12th, if you'd like to hear the recording. He had to hang up and call me again in order to book the flight I had all the information for and had already cancelled. He asked me again for my credit card, then said that it was for security purposes, even though I didn't owe anything. He had to put me on hold, again saying it was part of their "procedures" to do so. It was so frustrating and suspicious, and I expected better from Priceline. "John" was his name.

I'll never use Priceline to book a trip ever again.

They told me on the 7th that the money would be released from the Baymont Hotel back to Priceline. Then Priceline would in return refund it to my account. Now priceline is telling me that instead of two days I'm going to be waiting 14 days to get my money back reimbursement to my checking account for the sum of $633.44.

I get to the hotel and I had to pay $1100 for the room. I was not in the mood to fight because I had a long flight and I was tired. The last time I will ever book with Priceline.

I was working in an area and was going to go late, so I opened the app to see about rooms in the area. Normally when I open the app or any travel company app it populates nearby hotels with the rates for THAT day. I just opened the Priceline app as I write this, and it populates with hotels and prices for today's date. On the day I opened the app and booked a room, it populated with rooms and prices for the next day, which I didn't realize until I went to check in moments later. I told the desk clerk it was a mistake, and she said that I would have to contact Priceline. I contacted Priceline right away and they said it would be up to the hotel to cancel a non transferable reservation. Ultimately, they charged me the full amount, even though I contacted them right away, and I never stayed in the room. Was booking several times a month with Priceline, and will never use them again.

Then back on hold, comes back 5 min later and says, ok based on the information I have, click. He hung up on me. I have been using Priceline for about 2 yrs as a travel service. Booked a hotel on Priceline knowing in advance due to the rate I would not receive points but was shocked to find out that I spent $166.00 x 4 nights and could not get credit for the nights stayed toward my status. This is a little detail that Priceline fails to disclose in the booking. The way they screw you is by not attaching your Loyalty number to your reservation. When you ask the hotel to add it at checking they advise you call Priceline. This is when the run-around starts. BUYER BEWARE, do not use Priceline unless you are looking for no frills, no service and a complete ** attitude when trying to get service from Priceline.

I asked him to hang on the phone until I received my confirmation email and he stated that he wouldn't do that and hung up on me. Will never use Priceline again.

Don't book through Priceline, it's bad & dishonest company. Every time I called for resolutions, they kept lying and had no intention to solve the problem. Tried to book flight, I got kick out during finalize payment step. I never received a booking confirmation through email or text message. I called Priceline asking about the reservation giving them all sources of information.. Last name, phone number, and email address connected with the reservation in case I mistakenly entered any wrong information (honest mistake).

The agent couldn't find the booking, telling me the reservation didn't go through otherwise I should received an immediate confirmation if reservation went through and shortly via email after booking. I told them I didn't get both. So, I had to book the second time for same people and similar itinerary. This time I got the confirmation after payment posted and follow up with email. Before 24 hours cancellation window allowing approached, I checked Priceline for the reservation based on last name and email, it showed only one reservation I did the 2nd time.

Then I got the bill showing Priceline charged me approximately $650 USD twice for same passengers, same traveling day, but different airlines. First I contacted Priceline many weeks before the travel day, they claimed couldn't find second reservation and they didn't charge twice. I contacted the credit card company, they confirmed I was charged twice. I contacted Priceline again 2nd time, they asked for proof that Priceline charged my bank twice. I submitted the statement to their accounting department. They said they would contact me within 48 hours which they never did.

3rd attempt call, the Priceline agent said they looked into the case and the duplicate charge would be reversed... Never happened. Then 4th call the agent said accounting department still looking into the claim. 5th time call to follow up with the pending case, they said they would NOT refund the duplicate charge because the reservation went through.. Pretty much is not their fault if I never received the booking confirmation. I don't know how these people can sleep through the night cheating & stealing money from people. They can steal $650 from me but they lose one business forever. It's first time I used Priceline and that will be the last.

Trying to find a last minute hotel sucked. We found one finally for 400$. We should have not gone through this and Priceline should have placed us elsewhere since they messed. I booked airline tickets from Houston to Manila and paid flexible change, which means I will pay only the difference of the rate at the time if I reschedule my tickets, in this pandemic period to protect myself. But Priceline.com keeps stealing from me. I called Princeline.com agent to reschedule my tickets today. I called 5 times this morning, and in the first 3 time agents kept silent after said Hello playing music all the way. Then the 4th time and 5th time had a lady agent tried to help. I presented the trip and tickets I found in Kayak.com, then she asked carefully the flight numbers then give me a price which is over $3300 more expensive than the rate I found in Kayak.com. Her explanation is "Kayak.com is not Priceline.com" and her price is from Priceline.com. This made me very uncomfortable, but I decide that I will try to find a trip in Princeline.com then call its agent to do the reschedule again.

I searched the trip in Priceline.com in the evening again and found the proper trip with reasonable price, even though rate has doubled. I called Priceline.com. An agent started working on the reschedule of my trip. What surprised me is that she told me that she cannot use the price searched/displayed on Priceline.com but can only use another system's rate, then you know what happened -- the rated is over $2000 much more than the price displayed on Priceline.com -- same depart/return dates and same flights but price has gone up by over $2000.

I kept asking is this is Priceline.com policy for you agents to cheat customers in this way this time after the same situation happened to me twice already, she can say nothing but silent, still insisted on that she can only let me have this price. I told that I will put what I experienced today on the web review, but she can only kept silent. I would say, GUYS stay away from Priceline.com which is stealing all of us with its policy and training to its agents.

I called Priceline to try to get the situation rectified so that I could book another room that would allow me to bring my dog with us since we were on a road trip. I booked a Hotel reservation using Express Deal. Before making the final booking, I called Priceline and reconfirmed the final amount. The Priceline Customer Service Representative confined that whatever is shown on Priceline.com will be the final amount, including all taxes. When I was checking out from the hotel, they asked me to pay the resort fee, which was 204$. At that time, I called Priceline again to check this. I was on the call with them for approximately 35 minutes, out of which I was on hold last 15-20 minutes. Since I had to catch my flight, I hung up the call and paid the resort fee.

When I called that Priceline after reaching home to request the refund, Priceline dropped the 1st call; on the next call, I told the same thing for the 3rd time, and then again, I was transferred to a senior person. A senior person raised a ticket and within 2 hours got back to me. The customer representative said that you clicked on the 'Complete Booking' button at the time of booking, which implies that "By selecting Complete Booking you agree to the Booking Conditions (this link opens in a modal dialog) Terms and Conditions, and Privacy Policy." In this section, a small line mentions that the customer is responsible for paying resort fees at the hotel.

I told them that I confirmed this with Priceline before booking the hotel, and he/she did not mention such a thing, but again the person on call was not listening and was changing the statement every minute. After that, they said they would investigate the phone recording; however, even if they confirm that the customer representative gave the wrong information, I won't get any refund. This happened when I was a VIP Blue member of Priceline.

When we got to the hotel (Sleep Inn) day before the race we were told they had no reservation with for us and no rooms available (We had 2 rooms booked with them!!!) - We showed them the confirmation information and they would not accept it saying it was with Priceline.

We called Priceline and they called the hotel - still would not honor reservation - after many hours on the phone back and forth with customer service Priceline was not able to find us another hotel room anywhere & we were in Austin for the races without a place to stay! Priceline refunded our money for the hotel - We had to spend hours calling hotels/motels ourselves and ended up staying in San Marcos, TX paying $394 per night/per room for a Holiday Inn! We were not compensated by Sleep Inn nor Priceline. Always book hotel rooms directly with the hotel - and call hotel to confirm before you leave on your trip. Do not trust Priceline!

When I talked to customer service after not seeing a credit and seeing that I was charged twice for the rental they then told me that was non refundable and they would refund me the extra 18 $ I paid to have a fully refundable reservation. When reported to the hotel staff, the reply was “well how long have ya been in the room?” After explaining I had just gotten there, there was an awkward pause before the conversation abruptly ended. We immediately left but still were charged a parking fee of $15, taxes and a “resort fee” of about $12. I tried speaking with Priceline who I actually booked with and the advisor stated she can give me 15% off my next trip there. 2 fairly large multi million or billion dollar businesses offer a consumer $22.50 as recourse for this nightmare of a hotel. Please do not waste your time.
