Terrible experience. Booked a hotel through the "pricebreaker" scheme. Selected for the hotel to have a spa guaranteed at time of paying. Then, I was assigned a Holiday Inn with no spa. False advertising. Spoke to customer services and they said there is nothing they can do. This was their final response. They were very rude.

I rented a Fox Rental car for a certain time & was charged an extra day. I rented for 6 days starting at 12:30 am & returned the car 6 days later 3:30 am. That is what is on my Priceline receipt. If I known I had to pay for another day ($80) I would not have made the reservation through priceline. I tried to communicate but they wouldn't not help me.

Checked in for two nights on March 31, 2022. Room was revoltingly filthy. Due to COVID I already wipe down all surfaces I am going to touch from light switches to counter and table tops. Black grime on nearly every surface. Food crusted to the counter around the microwave and coffee maker. Hairs in the bathtub, black streaks of grime on walls around bathtub. Discolored shower curtain was growing black mold on the bottom. Toilet was dirty, had multiple urine stains and pubic hairs from prior guests. Bathroom sink was scummy and drained extremely slowly. Had clearly not been wiped down in some time. Bed sheets stank. They clearly had not been changed from the prior guest(s). Blanket and coverlet stank. Had to make two trips down to the front office to request fresh linens.
First time front desk gave me a fitted sheet and a flat sheet. I had to go back to request three fresh pillow cases. Night manager told me she would see if she had that many. (She did find some for me.) What motel doesn't have three clean pillow cases at any hour? I was as pleasant as possible with the night manager who genuinely tried to help me. I could see from the look on her face when I came down the first time to ask for clean linen that it was not a unique or unusual request. I knew it wasn't her fault, so no need to make her life more difficult. However the owners/management need to either run a clean motel or find something else to do for a living. I did not stay the second night.
When I checked out the morning of April 1, (I wasn't seeing any jokes) the manager didn't even question why I was checking out early, nor did he ask how my stay was. Again, I suspect this is a common occurrence. People would rather leave money behind than stay another night in that filthy, extremely poorly run location. Of course no refunds for any reason is the policy of the location. I booked via Priceline unknowingly. I thought I was booking through Booking.com. Turns out Priceline handles all of Booking.com's package deals.
Priceline doesn't even allow for reviews of customer experiences. Now I know why. Wyndham should be utterly embarrassed to have their name/affiliation on the front door of this particular Travelodge. Guests expect Travelodge to be basic, but clean no matter where they travel. The Tucson Travelodge on Ina road completely failed in that expectation that Travelodge has spent decades building. Avoid this location at all costs.

At march 30th I was making a reservation through Priceline.com. I was looking for a staying in Barcelona for 5 night for two adults and two children aged 9 and 12. When I received the confirmation it was only for two adults. I also made a screenshot of the confirmation where it is written "kids stay free". I spoke with the hotel and they told me the absolutely the kids were not staying for free so I asked for the cancellation because what I bought was different from what I have received. I spoke at least with 10 operator from Priceline but nobody wanted to recognize the mistake. I paid 1238 dollar for a fraud.

Never used them before, never will again... Bought tickets to Mexico on March 31, 2022. Anyways was waiting for my friends to get paid. I just didn't want the price to go up too much for me. Well they got paid today and I wanted all of us to be on the same flights, seeing as there was so many open seats when I booked and still today on the flight there, especially I figured no big deal but I couldn't get the same return flight to pop up even though the airlines show they still have plenty of room, at this point, I was also gonna book our hotel too.
So I call for assistance as they are a TRAVEL AGENCY this should be no problem...but it was the guy literally told me that if we would all wanna be on the same flights that they will have to call the airlines directly and not use them?!! I'm like, "Um what I don't understand because we're trying to do our hotel too..." And then I said, "Well I paid for insurance coz when you go to purchase it asks if you want the insurance. It's like 60 some dollars or something so you can cancel or change at any time."
So I say to the guy, "OK well I got the insurance so can we just move me to this returning flight and then we be on the same flight or if we have to cancel mine and we will do it all together." And he tells me, "It's been past 24 hours, you can't cancel." (Not even trying to help me find a solution. I'm trying to spend money with this company and they just don't even care.)
At this point I'm mad. I'm like I literally bought insurance for any emergency but we all need to be on the same flight so I just wanna cancel or change and this guy straight up says, "The insurance isn't even through us, you have to valley them and make a claim..." I'm like omg because I've just spent 861$ with them and yeah so I'm trying to talk to someone else. Long story short, it's 10 pm now I finally got the number for the insurance and they aren't even open due to some unforseen circumstances! Never again and the stress, I'm literally in tears... use Kayak or Travelocity, anyone but these people!

Please, for your own sanity, do not book with this company! I booked a hotel in Vegas for a wedding. We booked with friends at the same time for the same hotel on 28 February. We received confirmation numbers and our credit cards were charged. On 1 April our friends received an email saying they no longer had rooms because a 3rd party contractor Agoda made an error. We did not get the same notification so we called the Virgin Hotel to confirm our reservation. Of course there was none. We then started calling Priceline to rectify the situation. They made excuses and after hours and hours on the phone trying to get them to rebook us in the Virgin, which had availability, they said they could not do it.
I finally asked for reallocation but then they said they couldn't reallocate because everything was now too expensive for them to reallocate. OF Course it is! Because it is only 5 days before the travel date. If I had a month to find something else I could have, but now I have no time because they are scam artists. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! STAY AWAY!

Made a reservation of a room in Milwaukee that had details of and even pictures of room with 2 king beds and large size. Paid extra for it. When we get to the Hotel we are told that they only have small rooms with 2 STANDARD size beds. After spending 1.5 hours on the phone, and first being told it's the hotels issue, which it's not, the only thing they offered was to cancel my reservation. This was a busy Friday/ Saturday weekend in the area and it's 5 pm. What are the odds of me getting another room easily.
Their customer service is horrific. There seems to be no availability of speaking with anyone of authority, they just pass you from one barely understood customer service person to another. I'm familiar with customer service actions and this is one that shady or fly by night orgs use. Long wait times, pass you around to hope that customer gives up. I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Unfortunately, I cannot do much else, other than to never ever use this fly-by-night fraudulent company again.

I was not familiar with Priceline but decided to try it for a car rental as a friend recommended it. First problem, they do not tell you the rental company name ahead of time. After paying for the rental I was told my car rental was with Allied Economy car rental (never heard of them) at Los Angeles/LAX. Next problem, they don't tell you but Allied Economy car rental cannot pick you up at the LAX airport. You have to take an airport bus (which did not arrive for a least an hour) and they drop you off at an empty parking lot of an abandoned building (where you wait until the Allied Economy car rental shuttle arrives, and of course it was raining and there was no cover).
The Allied Economy car rental shuttle driver did not identify themselves when he arrived and his vehicle was not marked (another car rental shuttle driver told us who they were when he asked us who we were waiting for). The Allied Economy Car Rental shuttle driver dropped us off in the alley of a "run down" strip mall. We went in via a back door and waited at least another hour to be serviced. The Allied Economy car rental agent told me that we needed proof of my car insurance policy coverage and that my "proof of insurance card" was not sufficient (we were not informed of this reqiurement or else we would have come with the information. Other car rental customers were also complaining). I had to call my car rental insurance (and wait for an agent) so they could talk to the Allied Economy car rental agent and go over my policy coverage.
Allied Economy car rental company still required an upfront $400. deposit (which we expected to be returned when we returned the car, but no, we were told it would be refunded in a "few days".) The Allied Economy car rental agent had a strong accent and we finally understood that we had to go back to the alley and wait for our car to be brought to us. Several people were also waiting for their rental cars and only one (1) Allied Economy car rental person retrieving cars and checking them out with the car renters.
The car renter in front of us rejected the car he was given because it was in poor condition physically (at least another hour wait until our car arrives). Our car is in really bad condition physically (graffiti on the driver's side door that was spray-painted over but still visible), scratches and dents everywhere, the car was 4 years old, but we still accepted it since we couldn't wait any longer (our 9 yr old grandson was hungry and had to go the bathroom, which the car rental agency would not let him use).
On the way to return the car we kept getting a message that there was a "Malfunction", an unrecognizable "symbol displayed" and told us to check the "owners manual" (which, of course, there wasn't one in the car). We kept our fingers crossed that the rental car would make it to Allied Economy Car Rental so we could return the car. Lastly, again, we waited about 45 mins to get the shuttle to the airport. Conclusion, the car was a wreck and the amount of time we had to wait getting to the Allied Economy Car Rental office was not worth the discounted price we paid Priceline. I personally will not use Priceline Car Rental service again without knowing in advance which agency I am dealing with.

Do not book with them under any circumstances. I have called Priceline twice, been put on hold seven times and did not receive any help. I booked a flight to Tokyo which the airline moved without my permission or notice. I tried to request a refund as the website guidelines state I am entitled to, and they refused. It was an $800 ticket that I bought flight insurance for. I had all of the safeguards in place and yet they still refused to assist me in processing a refund. I have spent over two hours on hold and speaking to representatives who did not know what they were doing and were not polite. If I could give them 0 stars I would. Book your own tickets, Priceline will screw you over.

Only a few days purchasing a trip to Austria with Priceline, the Austrian government changed their entry requirements, barring me from entry. When I cancelled my trip with Priceline, they provided no refund or voucher, even though I had purchased full trip coverage. They began by telling me that I was entitled to a voucher, but that I needed to speak with a different department. I was transferred literally dozens of times. I likely spent a cumulative 20 hours on the phone with Priceline, sent numerous emails (normally to no response), and was always very calm and patient in my dealings with the employees, giving each service agent a fresh opportunity to help. No one ever told me that a voucher was not possible.
I continued wasting my time with the company because they continued encouraging me that a voucher would be awarded, but that I only needed to speak with a different department. Then I'd be sent to the next department, and they would insist that I had been sent to the wrong place and forward my call to another department... or often the call would be dropped with no explanation. The last time I spoke with Priceline, I was told that they would review my case and send a formal response in 6-8 weeks. That was 10 weeks ago. I've still heard no response.
I've never felt like my money and time was wasted so thoroughly. If you look at my Consumer Affairs profile, I only have two reviews and they're both negative... but I leave Google reviews all the time, and it's a personal policy of mine to review what I love rather than to leave complaints. I've probably given two negative reviews ever: Priceline, and Allianz Insurance (who was supposed to protect this trip). Save your money and buy through the airline.

OMG, this was one of the most frustrating and ridiculous experiences of my whole entire life. They were impossible to communicate with over the phone. Wouldn't help me and told me I had to deal with my issue by calling the airlines. I called the airlines and was told to speak with Priceline. So I called them back and they said they couldn't help me and they needed to transfer me to another department. I sat on hold until a robot told me I would receive a call back. A week went by and that was not true, obviously. So I called them again and they lost half of my reservation and had absolutely no explanation for that.
They again told me I had to call the airlines and the airlines told me to call Priceline. Called Priceline back and they told me that I took too long to tell them about my problem and that there was nothing they could do for me. So then I told them I had to speak to someone who could since it was THEIR fault that it took so long for me to get a hold of them. Again, I sat on hold before a robot told me I would receive a call back.... If I could swear on here, I absolutely would curse every single one of you out.

Recently, I took a trip to Puerto Rico and rented a car for the week using the Priceline website. My flight out to Puerto Rico was delayed and when I landed I contacted the car rental facility. They then informed me that my reservation had been cancelled since I did not show up at pickup time. I was also informed that they had no more cars and they hung up the phone. I contacted Priceline but since they don't make a customer service phone number available, I used their chat feature. I told them what had happened and was told there was nothing they could do and to make a new reservation.
It is 9 p.m. and I'm in Puerto Rico without a car now and was told make a new last minute reservation. I was quite upset and angry at this point but I made a new reservation but at that point it was for the next morning. So I taxied to the hotel and back the next morning to pick up the car from the new reservation. I get to the car rental facility and they tell me that they have no reservation for me and Priceline had sent them no information. Wonderful! Priceline is ridiculous and unprofessional. I will not trust them again in the future with any vacation plans. So disappointed in the service I received. We had an issue with transportation and returning flights needed to be changed three days before departing. I looked on Priceline and flights were still available for the time we needed for $211 per person. After holding for long periods of time on Priceline the woman came back and said “good news is changes are included and you will receive a credit towards your new flight and you will just pay the difference in price." Considering the new flight was $20 more per person we expected to pay $40 total to change the flight. Nope, they said it would be $700!!! That’s including the credit and paying the difference. How can that be if the same flight could currently be booked on Priceline for $211! This felt like an absolute scam. Waited one hour to talk to a supervisor and got nowhere. 1- My car rental On Priceline was for $129 for 6 days, and I booked it a couple months ahead to ensure I get a good deal. Good price right? Well I already anticipated declining the CDW insurance and use the benefit that my Visa credit card offers for this car rental. But wait until I tell you how filthy these people are and how they played me to refuse it and forced me to buy their insurance for a very high unacceptable price. I called the Cancun location before my travel date to inquire about the pickup place and the shuttle, and they told me their agent will be in front of Margarita Villa rest outside the airport, and their agent will be there waiting for me. It took me a while to find the guy, as he was randomly standing in the back of the restaurant, with no signs or way to know that he is from this company. In about 15 min the shuttle came.
2- On arrival to the office which was about 8 min away, I found a young couple arguing with the agent at the counter and they were saying: "we are going to leave you a NEGATIVE review". The agent seemed careless about this remark. I opened my google and searched this company, and unfortunately they had a horrible review of 1.5/5... I overheard the guy saying, "How are you going to make me put a deposit of 8000 USD for a car rental?" When It was my turn, I pulled a letter that my VISA card provided me assuring the agency that they will cover for the Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) for the price of the car up to 50K. The agent -Edgar - told me that I will need to place a deposit of $8000 for the car rental, and I will need to purchase the Third Party Liability (TPL) insurance as well and it would cost $200 USD. I explained that I NEVER seen a car rental agency asking for a deposit higher than 200-400 USD.
Also, I have rented in the past in Cancun and the TPL was included in the price of rental. He said this would be the case If I rented directly from their website, and not from a third party site. Now I realize why other sites were giving me a daily rental fee of about 40 USD/day. Because they included the DWC and TPL. At this time my options were limited and could not find a car rental at other agencies for that SAME day for less than 80 USD/day.
My 3 little kids were already hungry and crying, including my 6 month old. The agents at America Car rental were disgracefully heartless and knew that I was a vulnerable customer because of the age of my 3 kids, and that I would have to pay anything to get my kids to the hotel. Well, I asked what would be the price if I purchased the CDW from them, so that I don’t have to put a hold of 8000 USd on my card, and he said it would cost me 286 USD. I said no way I would pay that for insurance just for 6 days of rental. Then, I told him to go ahead and put the $8000 hold on my card. When he saw I was serious about it, he sent me to another window with a new agent. I did not know why, but this is when I started sensing that they were playing a game. These crooks are trained to always look for a way to go around and force you to buy their insurance.
That’s how they make the MONEY, by DECEIVING YOU ONLINE, and then ROBBING you when you get there. I went to the other window, and the other guy asked me if I was willing to put a hold of 13500 USD on my card?.. I said why this amount now? The amount was $8000 with Edgar at the other window. He said. Edgar probably did not know that you need a FULL size car.. I am like really? Did not he pull my reservation??. The non sense continued, until out of frustration, I told him to go ahead and put a hold of 13500 USD on my card. This guy told me: "THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU RESERVE THROUGH THIRD PARTY WEBSITES". He then encouraged me to cancel that reservation and do a new one directly with him, but the price was literally going to be the same, so I refused. So I inserted my card, and this guy claimed that the transaction was DECLINED.
I said I have a limit of 25K on this card, and asked him to try again. He said: It was DECLINED for a second time…so I gave my VISA c.c a call, and within a couple minutes I got a hold of an agent who assured me that NO recent transactions were attempted at ALL that day from MExico, and that my card was opened for use with no restrictions abroad of the USA.. Then I asked this guy to talk to the C.C agent and he refused, and asked me to move over to attend the next customer behind me. I said, "How rude is that, I am trying to get this done because it's been already over an hour since I arrived to that location at 4:30pm? Why I am being sent back and forth between these windows and now you are asking me to move over?" What the **.? What a disgusting experience.
I continued to hold my patience, but you could see in my face my anger. He then explained that even if my credit card was used to waive the CDW, I still had to pay 286 USD for the third party liability insurance (TPL). Wow … How is this happening to me? With Edgar the TPL was 200 USD. I asked him how did they come up with these numbers? And why do they keep increasing? He told me they estimate the insurance price according to the car rental value… Really? At that point I started warning the customers behind me LOUDLY: “GUYS BE CAREFUL THESE PEOPLE ARE CROOKS, THEY PLAY FILTHY GAMES, AND THEY WILL TRY TO ROB YOU AND OVERCHARGE YOU WITH THE INSURANCE. Then the guy started threatening me that he will call the cops, and refuse to rent me a car.
Well, he asked me to go back to Edgar again. And Edgar said that he does what he is told to do, and that this is done with all customers. NICE, it's like telling me don’t feel unfortunate?? At that point I went ahead and purchased the insurance, overpaid triple of what you would pay for this rental somewhere else because I have 3 little kids ( 6 months, 2 years and 5 years) that were crying out of desperation after a long trip. It took about 3 hours from the time I started searching for the agent / shuttle until I finally got my car. To top it off, they gave me an ugly car, that had a bad smell, and was severely scratched and dented everywhere, and their agent that checked me out asked me to give him a TIP. I would have gladly done it if you guys did not rob me inside.
PLEASE THINK AND RETHINK YOUR DECISION TO RENT FROM THIS COMPANY. Don’t look at their prices because after doing some digging online I found out after falling in the trap that many Many MANY people went through this. I just wish I knew about it. I am going to report this agency to the BBB and Consumer Affairs.
It was a nightmare from the time I started searching for their agent outside the airport until I got the car. Space is limited to explain here. Don't look at their low prices. They will overcharge you when you get there by Imposing to purchase the CDW and TPL from them. They won't accept your credit card CDW waiver Insurance, so you are forced to buy theirs which is SUPER EXPENSIVE. They also take a very high unusual amount of deposit 13,500 USD which is insane. I mean I ended up paying almost 85$ per day for horrible car that smelled smoke, was heavily scratched and dented everywhere, did not even have basic features. These people must belong to a big mafia in Mexico because I don't understand how they are still in business.

In October of the previous year I booked a Flight through Priceline and saw a good deal on a rental car if I bundled them together through priceline so I did. When arriving to the rental car facility they were completely out of cars with a line of multiple people waiting for the next car to return. With no idea when I would even be able to get a car and make my appointments I had planned for months I decided to call Priceline, cancel my car rental, and book at a much more expensive rate at the facility through a different agency due to the necessity of an immediate car. Priceline informed me that day that the reimbursement would be processed when the rental car company confirmed they did not have cars, as well as they will pay the difference between my new rental and the old one for my inconvenience. Great news and great customer service, I thought.
This began a long battle between Priceline ignoring me, putting me through hours of robotic phone waiting until finding a new agent to talk to and reexplain the situation with the employee to tell me that I need to wait longer. The day after I received my bill from the other car agency I submitted the receipt and expected a reimbursement. Long story short it is now Almost April, & months later. I finally got a check after waiting and calling over ten times asking about updates and confirming information along with a very rude manager who kept saying I did not qualify for the reimbursement because I didn't rebook with priceline at the Car rental facility, he was wrong and the email I was sent never stated anything of the sort.
Today I went to cash the check I just received, it is dated four months prior to arrival and the teller at the bank has told me it isn't released for payment. I am currently writing this review while on hold for the who knows time. I will never book through them again and advise everyone to do the same. Their cancellation policy is confusing and only supports the company’s corporate greed. Priceline does not seem to care about its customers and appears to only be interested in taking advantage of people and stealing their money. Be cautious because Priceline will not help you and will only look out for themselves.

My Florida trip began with a hotel reservation snafu with another company (which we now have been compensated for thought it took so time) so we had no choice but to try to book another hotel while sitting in the middle of the airport. We saw great reviews for Priceline and decided to book through them. What a huge mistake. We ended up in a hotel from hell for which we were charged $200 more than the hotel we were originally set to stay at and the facility also tacked on a "resort fee". Resort? I truly think NOT. Cigarette holes within the carpets, bed shams, and chairs. Also had a flushing problem with our toilet and not sure if you have ever heard of "water hammering". Well it when pipes that carry hot water bang continuously while running or using the hot water. Not only did it do it in our room but also the room above us.
I went to the front desk about this and they informed me that they had no more rooms available to move us to. So I asked why charge people that astronomical amount plus a resort fee for such a terrible room. You know what he said that Priceline places their customer there. So I tell you before you use Priceline be sure of what they are going give to you. I would speak with the hotels directly or look for less prices through other sites such as Expedia or Travelocity. We have been going back and forth with to at least get the difference back with what we had paid the original hotel we had booked but d they only want to offer us measly 15% credit to use if we book with them again. No thank you and buyers beware of Priceline.

They will take your money and not give it back, lie and blame it on the hotel. I was at the hotel and the front desk agreed to cancel it and even told Me they will verify it with Priceline. Please don’t use this app. They are middleman. Go directly to the source. You're only going to save a few buck. It’s not worth it. Don’t use it.

Trash piled up in the halls, 2 outlets, one with exposed wires in our room, stained sheets, Sheetrock literally falling from the wall in the shower, remote duck taped, dirty table, and lamp looked like someone wiped poop on it. I took pics. I should have known! The girl at the front didn’t even look at my ID or card and only said sorry when I left. Would not give me paperwork. When I call Priceline, they advise the girl was just as unhelpful and offered me a 15% discount (around $12.00). I’m reporting this as fraud as it did not match the description or photos and will NEVER use Priceline again. Wish I could post the pics..

Horribly frustrated after spending hours with them and car rental company to fix issues with correcting wrong reservation drop off time, that happened after their online generated reservation system had issues. My car rental reservation through them had glitches when trying to complete. The forms kept losing information already filled out, after the make payment was clicked online. First it did just mill, then when it went through, it had faulty info not filled out as I had entered it, but that seemed to have been auto generated. One customer rep even told me it was online generated and sometimes automated. The car rental company rep, once I spoke with them, said it had happened before with reservations through Priceline.
The error, once Priceline found the reservation, as they could not see it fully online, was in the drop off time of the rental car reservation they had. I had to call to sort it out as I had gotten the confirmation email, I tried the online chat, but that was a mess. They did not have the conf number or trip number I gave, or my name even on any reservation, and chat seemed glitchy as well. So I called, only to be directed to the car rental co directly. Once talking to the car company, I was directed back to Priceline for correcting the error of wrong drop off time that I had not filled out. The car rental co could not see entire reservation and had not got confirmation from Priceline of payment even if I had paid and got confirmation of payment per email from Priceline. The car rental co had my dates and time (but wrong drop off time) and they had my name.
Once back with Priceline and several hours of talking to explain again what had happened, they said I now have to pay more. Talked to supervisor that was trying to be overbearing and did not want to admit the error was on their end, and only option was for me to cancel the reservation and start over. Not only would it take all the time, but be more expensive for me now. The manager, after I talked with yet another CSR, “explained”, that things change all the time and so the cost will be more now, and with the changed drop off time (from the incorrect one that erroneously had been entered by their system to auto do 24 hour blocks). Believe a better business would have compensated the up charges caused by their, at the time of reservation, faulty glitches, that caused the errors that now would cost more to fix! That they could not fix, and or, did not want to correct.
Canceled and asked for complete refund and will not ever use them again! Not worth it, as in the end, the “deal” you thought you got and paid for, was either fraud to bait then up charge, or when they make errors, they don’t want to correct them if it brings more cost. Again, I would understand if I had made the error, but it was their error (on their end) so they should have fixed it and owned it! Manager kept repeating it would cost more now even though I explained I had filled out another time for dropping off when quoted and entering the reservation, and it was the price I was charged, then the drop off time was incorrect in their confirmation that was auto generated and now fixing it would cost more as the drop off time had changed (by them). Just so frustrating that they did not own the error! Wish there was a way to give negative stars for rating!

I contacted Priceline to get a refund but I was told they’ll wave penalty I was supposed to pay on the change I made plus they will extend the validity until Dec. 31, 21 if I keep the ticket instead of taking a refund. I agreed to keep the ticket to avoid the penalty & received an email that confirms I can use the credit to any American Airlines flight before Dec 31, 2021. I arranged my vacation & tried to book my flight online before it expires but unable to get through.
I tried to call Priceline number (as per the email instruction)but automated system won’t let me talk to a customer agent saying the ticket number or trip number is not found or invalid. I thought it’s system error & tried the next days a couple of time to no avail. I contacted AA & they told me they don’t have any information about the specific ticket. Since the ticket is purchased through third party, they can’t help me to make the booking. So, I bought another ticket to get access to speak to a priceline customer service agent. 1st attempt - they transferred me to 3 different agents & disconnected after 37 min. 2nd attempt, they keep on transferring me from one agent to another, the last agent kept me on hold more than 15min & I hang up.
Finally, after explaining my situation for 3 or 4 different agents again and again, an agent name Chi from escalation department told me the system purged the ticket and they can’t book me another fight or refund the payment. I explain to her I have email confirmation that the ticket is still valid until Dec 31, 2021 & they should be able to book me a flight or refund me the payment before it expire. Unfortunately she said they can’t do anything because the ticket doesn’t exist at all. I asked her to send me an email or some kind of evidence that shows that I contacted them before Dec 31 & the ticket is purged or not found in their system to which she refused because their system doesn’t allow her to send an email to non-existing ticket/trip number. On February 24, 2022, at 12:56 PM EST, I purchased an airline and rental car reservation for the dates in February to Indianapolis, IN from Washington DC. The reservation total was for $363.28 ($233.03 for airline reservation travel and $130.25 for rental car reservation travel). Within less than a minute, also at 12:56 PM EST, I cancelled this reservation online upon seeing that I made a mistake. I intended to book travel for dates in March, not February. I subsequently received an email notification of the airline cancellation and an assurance that I would receive a refund of $233.03 within 1 to 3 business days. Minutes later, I called Priceline to confirm the cancellation of my rental car reservation. I subsequently received an email notification of said rental car cancellation February 24, 2022 at 1:03 PM EST.
On February 27, 2022, I received the rental car reservation refund in full. However, 21 days later, I have yet to receive the airline reservation refund. I first called the call center to resolve this issue on March 4, 2022 and spoke to a Priceline representative for 43 minutes. Over the course of that call, the representative placed the blame on my bank for not processing my refund. I informed him that I already called my bank about this and reminded him that I had no problem receiving the rental car refund. The representative then assured me that he had elevated the issue and I should receive my airline reservation refund no later than 48 hours.
On March 8, 2022, having not received my refund as promised, I again called Priceline to resolve the issue. The Priceline representative, although different from the first, again tried claiming the problem must be on my end and to contact my bank. I assured her the problem was not my bank, but the lack of a refund being issued. The 21 minute exchange ended with the Priceline representative assuring me that the issue would be elevated and if I didn't see the refund within 48 hours to call back.
On March 11, 2022, still not having received a refund, I again called and spoke to not one, but three Priceline representatives. Once more, each representative tried blaming my bank and one even tried blaming American Airlines for any refund delay. This excuse, much like the "it's my bank's fault" excuse that I have received several times, is also without merit. I called American Airlines, they checked my ticket number, and assured me they never even received any funds because the flight was voided as soon as it was booked. Since then I have sent several emails to Priceline with no response. I suspect they gave me an email address that is either never checked or meant to defer customer complaints they want to further avoid. Needless to say, don't use Priceline. They are a highly dishonest company. Be warned.

Have booked very few car rentals in my life, so to start, I'm not an expert. I had a short road trip planned for this weekend. Several months ago, I searched online thru Priceline and booked a rental using Budget. I paid for insurance online, got everything confirmed, and was really looking forward to my road trip. Then, the day before I was to pick the car up, Budget calls. Just wanting to confirm, no big deal. I confirm. Then they ask if I will be paying with a debit or credit card. On a side note, I had gotten myself in trouble when I was in my early 20s with credit cards and have worked very hard to fix my credit since. I no longer use them if I can help it. I do keep one with a small limit for emergencies and to keep building my credit.
I told them I would be using my debit card, same as I have when I booked the reservation. I was then told I needed a utility bill to complete the rental. I have many bills in my name, cell phone, car loan, rental lease, insurance, even bank statements. None of those work. It had to be water/trash, electric, or something like that. My problem (used to be my luck) is that all is included in my rent. They point blank refused to rent me a car. THE DAY BEFORE MY TRIP!! I called literally every other car rental agency in the greater Kansas City area, but not a single car was available at that point.
No notice was given beforehand when I made the reservations that I needed a utility bill in my name to rent a car. I'm a grown man, have a family, enough money in the bank to buy a new car if needed (saving for retirement). None of that mattered. I still was not good enough. And yes, I do have a perfectly decent car I drive every day. The whole reason we rented, was we did not want to put the extra mileage on our car.

I talked to a man of my concern for this small change and he told me that I had 24 hours to make changes. On MAR 10/2022 AND 15 HOURS after I made the original reservation, I called PRICELINE to notify them my travel dates were moved one week ahead from MAR. 21/2022 TO MAR. 26 and would request he to adjust my travel date reservations due to this emergency.
The agent confirmed I was within the the 24 hour window and then asked what reservation I would want for her to cancel first. I told her I did not care but to do the flight first and then the hotel and car. She proceeded to cancel the air which she informed me and then proceeded to cancel the hotel and car. After five minutes away from the phone, she came back and informed me she could not cancel the hotel or the car due to hotel and car rental policies. I then told her that if that was the fact, why did she cancel the air? She had no answer.
I then called the hotel myself and was told if I had not used PRICELINE, they would adjust the dates or cancel the reservation but the reservation I made with PRICELINE was in their control and they had the ability to move the dates or cancel the reservation which is not what PRICELINE told me. Would like to share my recent experience with Priceline with someone other than the customer service number provided. I booked a travel package to Vegas with Priceline which include flight and hotel. I received an itinerary and even checked it before I left for my trip. Everything appeared as I booked, but to my unfortunate surprise when I arrived at the hotel, they did not have my reservation. I was shocked and disappointed. I called Priceline and I was told by the agent not to worry and everything would be handled. After being on hold for bit, I was told my hotel reservation was canceled in error by a computer glitch that Priceline was having. I asked why this happened and the agent told to me there was no reason and it was isolated incident. The agent informed me not to worry and I would be transferred to the relocation department to further assist me.
I continued to express my concern/worry. I told the relocation agent that I would like to stay at the hotel I originally booked, but would consider other options as well. The agent came back and told me that there was nothing Priceline could do for me, but to cancel my hotel reservation and offer me a refund. I pleaded with agent that I was stranded in a state that I was unfamiliar with and did not have anywhere to stay. The agent apologized and told me that canceling my reservation would be the only option at this point. I have never felt so much fear at this point because when I asked the hotel how much to stay, they informed that rooms were starting at $400+ a night. I couldn't believe that I could book a room with no problem at these last-minute high prices, but the relocation agent could not help me out at all.
I have never been put in a situation like this and I am still very upset that your company would just leave someone stranded after admitting this was an error on their end. Update: Priceline did end up covering the additional cost of my new reservation that I made excluding the resort fees which I was told was my responsibility and not theirs. This resolution took me emailing corporate after my trip.

I have had several excellent experiences with Priceline -- particularly when booking hostels. Though, one should note their cancellation policy is non-existent. Knowing this, I purchased the additional travel insurance through Priceline when booking round-trip flights. The insurance supposedly covered cancellation of flights. Unfortunately, when I called to change a flight, I was told that my insurance only covered my first flight! This was stated nowhere I could find. However, the insurance policy I had said it covered the entire duration of my trip. Had something happened on my trip, I never would have known my flight was uninsured!
This was Priceline's fault, not the insurance company. Priceline should have made this more clear, as I booked the insurance through Priceline. I truly do not blame Allianz Insurance. Luckily, you can cancel Allianz within 10 days of booking and I was able to get a full refund because I noticed early. Expedia and other companies actually allow changing of flights, so I recommend looking elsewhere to book inexpensive travel experiences.

As a longtime Priceline customer, it hurts me to give this review. I bundled a hotel & rental car for a trip to Florida. The car company was Green Motion, which we had never heard of, and they were listed as being at the Ft Lauderdale-Hollywood Airport. They were not--they were over a couple miles away in a sketchy area. Their van never came but thankfully a driver from a competing company actually gave us a ride to Green Motion’s location.
We opted not to buy their insurance since our own policy covers rental cars but were told that we had to pay $8 per day as an “administrative fee” for listing our own policy—seriously??? Absolutely one of the dumbest things I had ever heard of, but there we stood with our luggage, stuck in the middle of nowhere with no car unless we agreed to pay this $45 fee which they refused to drop. We had pre-paid Priceline what was supposed to be all of the charges, so what was up with charging more money once we got there?
After we got home, I talked to several customer service agents at Priceline & they were either too dumb to catch onto the fact that customers shouldn’t be charged extra or that’s just their song & dance but none would help me get the money back. Then I found the name and address of the man in charge of Priceline‘s car rentals and, since Priceline wouldn’t give me his email address or phone number, I sent him a letter asking for help leveraging this company for my money back or refunding me.
Additionally, I hoped they would check the company out because they weren’t located where they were supposed to be, didn’t seem to have a shuttle to their office as was advertised and charged above and beyond what I should’ve had to pay. I got no response. I will never use Priceline again & highly recommend that you don’t either. It goes without saying that everyone should stay away from Green Motion too.

Worst scamming company that does everything in its power to make the customer experience miserable and squeeze every cent out of you. It is MUCH better to book directly with a specific airline or hotel instead. I spent 8+ hours total with Priceline representatives on the phone over a 24-hour period (beginning at 3am in the middle of the night) and ended up with a completely terrible "solution," losing money for the flight I was trying to switch due to Covid. I then tried a different approach and called the AIRLINE directly, and the airline resolved the issue within 10 minutes of the start of the phone call, and I was left with money left over for flight credit. If you care about your sanity or bank account, don't book anything through Priceline - ever!
My experience was not based on only one customer service representative. I interacted with a total of three representatives and a friend of mine interacted with one, and all four times, the script was EXACTLY the same: the representative would put you on hold multiple times for made-up reasons, and when they returned, they would claim that the specific flight you want to switch to is actually more expensive (even though Priceline's website and the airline website would show a lower price), so that you would have no flight credit left over.
For example, I had paid for a $500 flight, and I wanted to switch it to a flight I found for roughly $200. When I asked about that flight, they claimed that the flight costs $500, so I would have no credit left over! When I pointed out the conflicting prices, they just claimed that their website price was the "non-discounted" price. Even after pointing out the prices listed on the AIRLINE'S website, Priceline still wouldn't budge, and made sure that you lost ALL of your refund and couldn't use it toward a different flight.
Another thing the representatives would do is leave you on hold for long periods of time (at least 45 minutes each time) for nonsense reasons after you asked for a very reasonable, straightforward flight switch, such as needing to "check" something, or "talk to someone else." Then, when they returned to you, you ask one question, and they put you on hold for ANOTHER 45 minutes. This ended up eating up hours of my day. I have to wonder if representative of Priceline are instructed to make the phone call as difficult and irritating as possible so that customers will not want to take the time to get an exchange or refund for credit. I have never had a worse experience with any company - ever. If you don't want to waste time, money, and energy, avoid Priceline at all costs!

At first, Evan seemed very helpful with finding me a last minute ticket to Europe to see what I thought were my dying parents. At first he offered me a three thousand dollar flight, which I genuinely thought would be first class, but once I asked him that, he gave me another option that seemed much more “reasonable”.
In my vulnerable and frantic state, I thought he had gotten me a deal and a great flight, when in fact I found out later that there were much cheaper and quicker options. In my great hurry, I accepted the terms that the flight was non-refundable and I took Evan at his word when he stated that all I had to do was get to the airport four hours before the flight and it would be an easy flight for me. He insisted there was nothing else I needed to worry about besides my negative COVID test.
Unfortunately, all of his reassurances were wrong. It turned out that since there were two flight changes in Europe, I needed not just the two vaccines and the negative COVID test but also the “booster”. Lufthansa could not change my flight since I had not bought it directly with them and NO ONE at Priceline answered the phone or email to help me resolve this issue. I had to buy a WHOLE NEW FLIGHT thru another airline that was faster and cheaper and was never offered to me by Evan. When I finally was able to get in contact with Priceline, after I arrived at my destination, I was told there was nothing they could do. I am very disappointed with my experience and I feel taken advantage of.

I have all documentation needed to prove my HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE with PRICELINE. DO NOT USE PRICELINE!!! This company is dishonest and a true RIP-OFF! I reserved a mini van in Las Vegas. I paid for the rental upfront to ensure that there were no hiccups during my 48 hour stay in Las Vegas. I arrived at the rental car counter after waiting in an extremely long line to get the rental care shuttle and was told my vehicle pick-up location had been changed (by Priceline) to a location that was over 20 miles away! I asked how I was suppose to go to that location and I was told to take a cab or an Uber - out of my pocket! There were four of us so of course, even that costed more money than usual.
We finally get an Uber who drove forever to get to the 2nd location. When I walked in, I was told "that's your rental car pulling out of the parking lot right now". Of course, I'm thinking maybe they were taking it to be washed or gassed up. I was wrong! They had apparently rented my pre-paid vehicle to someone else who was leaving. HERE'S THE CLINCHER! They had NO MORE CARS available anywhere on the lot! I was given the cold shoulder as if I had done something wrong. I was then told that I would need to call the rental care company (Hertz) to see if they could arrange something - NO LUCK. Then I was told to call Priceline back to see if they could arrange something and they transferred my to several other representatives who were unable to help me.
After nearly breaking down in the rental car office, one of the customer service personnel felt so bad that we were stranded, rented me an Uber to take me even farther away to a totally separate location to pick up a car. *Also, the Uber that was ordered by the Hertz person was for one passenger so I had to pay out of my pocket a second time to upgrade for four passengers. When we finally arrived several hours later we were given a vehicle that I wouldn't offer to a person I hated. It was a real jalopy! Of course, I had to pay another deposit for that jalopy AND I would end up having to drive WAY back over there to return it before taking an Uber to the airport when it was time to leave (approx. 35 miles).
Needless to say, by the time we finally got a car we were way late for our other reservations, exhausted and starving. Apparently Priceline makes promises that they cannot deliver and utilizes sub-standard packages for vehicle rentals. I wasted way more time and money that I simply didn't have but the worst part is - I was so upset by the time I settled down, it was already time to leave Las Vegas. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE! I will NEVER USE PRICELINE again! Priceline is unprofessional, disorganized AND deceptive!
Oh, I almost forgot!!! When I received a follow-up email from Priceline the information for my rental was weirdly wrong including dates of rental November 2021 (should have been February 23 - 25, 2022; but it also showed my reservation pick-up location as Detroit Metropolitan Wayne Airport in DETROIT - NOT LAS VEGAS !!! (???) and also car rental company as Avis (should have been Hertz!) See attached.

The clerk tell me to call Priceline & they would refund my money after speaking to the hotel to confirm that they didn’t have a room for me.
I file a request with Priceline as advised. They tell me that it’s the hotels policy that no refunds are to be given. So let me get this straight Priceline is letting a beyond sleazy hotel that’s not fit for animals to stay in false advertise on their website?!? I’m grateful to be alive! It was a tough day made even more challenging by Priceline & Avis. I booked a car through Priceline online to be picked up at Avis Rent-A-Car at Austin Bergstrom Airport. A friend dropped me off to pick up the car. Although I had a confirmation number & paid with my credit card online, the Avis agent said I needed a hard copy of my credit card or I could NOT pick up a vehicle. He advised me to CANCEL my reservation which I did online.
My friend drove back out to the airport to pick me up. We went to towing yard to search my wrecked car for my credit card which was knocked out of my wallet by force of impact. Then we returned to Avis a few hours later. I stood in a long line for a second time to confirm that my original reservation was indeed canceled before stepping out of line to book a new reservation. After standing in long line for a THIRD time, I finally picked up a vehicle. However, my credit card was charged TWICE to rent one vehicle.
I have called both Priceline & Avis without any resolution. I am disputing one of the charges with my credit card company who will act as my advocate to get my money back. I should not be charged TWICE for ONE vehicle especially when I was advised by an Avis rep to do so who also confirmed that the original reservation had been CANCELED! Zero empathy! Apparently, Priceline provided fake airline ticket information, did not issue our tickets and we were stuck at the airport for over an hour talking to Priceline customer service that didn't get anywhere with them. We ended up missing our flight.
The other horrible part was that Priceline advised us that they needed 72 hours to investigate the matter and it has been over 11 days and many countless calls with them and they still haven't resolved this matter. They keep advising me that a supervisor will get back to me in another 72 hours period. They are horrible and they took my money without rendering services. Bad enough they booked me into a hotel that was closed for renovations, but then refused to help me find a new hotel. You read that right....A company that is in the business of reservations REFUSED to do what they call a 'relocation'. I talked to 2 different people 3 different times and after over 1.5 hours, all I got 'offered' was a 100% refund. Meanwhile, I was in a different city with no hotel. There was NO compassion for the situation they put me in, no "I am sorry, let's see how we can help". They actually told me at one time I had to 'prove' the hotel was closed, even though their multiple calls to the hotel went unanswered and the hotel's own website said it was closed.
Anyway, I did get a refund...And I ended up booking a room through another site. But as I read other reviews on Google and Yelp, many of the recent ones have the same theme....that Priceline's customer service has went completely south. Too bad. I liked their service, and as a business traveler found it useful often. Two days after my call with Priceline, I called the hotel to make sure my reservation had been changed. I found Priceline had never contacted them regarding the change. The hotel did tell me I could not personally change my reservation; and, if I do not check in on the day they have in their system, I would be considered a "delinquent traveler" and my reservation with them would be cancelled.
I called Priceline every day for 7 days asking them to change my hotel reservation and it was never changed. I finally booked the hotel under my sisters name to ensure I had a room for my stay. I checked with the hotel when I arrived and asked if there was a reservation under my name and they said, "No, I was a delinquent traveler".
The 2nd bad experience with this trip was that I had to personally contact the airlines and cancel my reservations. What a nightmare... It seems the only thing Priceline has going for them is their ability to negotiate better rates. However, given the option of less stress vs better rates, I will choose less stress. I do need to add all of the Priceline representatives I spoke to were very nice and professional. The last representative I spoke to did call the hotel to try and change my check-in date; however, the hotel was experiencing long wait times and she couldn't wait on hold until they answered. GOOD GRIEF. I spent hours on the phone with Priceline trying to delay my trip by a single day. I don't think it was too much to ask for them to hold the line for 15 minutes to ensure my hotel reservation was intact. 2 THUMBS DOWN.

I was scheduled to go to Florida with my family. I purchased six airline tickets from Priceline and added the travel insurance. My daughter, unfortunately, had a medical emergency one day before our trip. I had to cancel and reschedule. Priceline assured me that I would have a credit for the cancellation. When I tried to rebook a trip, I was told that the flight was a "no show" and that we did not have a credit. After calling the airlines, I learned that it is common for Priceline to cancel incorrectly and that I would just have to ask for a supervisor to adjust it. After being on hold over and over again. Multiple foreign agents that hung up on me twice, I was told that I would need to pay more money to get the credit. I said NO! I was not going to pay more. They messed up! Now they claim that I did not call and cancel the trip! I will NEVER USE THIS POOR SERVICE AGAIN! EVER!

My company offers its associate discounted travel through PerksAtWork.com which, in turn, uses Priceline for its travel package discounts. In short, to save $4,000 on the trip I'm trying to book, it has to go thru Priceline. After some initial issues with flight inventory changing mid-booking, I finally got all the way through to find my credit card was declined. After several hours on the phone with my banks, I learned that they were, in fact, APPROVING transactions from Priceline - they saw it happen in real-time. But Priceline never completed the transactions.
When I called Priceline repeatedly for help, they continuously told me to call my bank to find out why they were declining transactions even after telling them that wasn't what was happening. I asked the final rep who can look at the transactions to see where, exactly it was failing, he said, "Nobody at Priceline can do that, call your bank." In short, without saying it directly, they said I cannot book through Priceline. Nice. Good luck to anyone else who needs their support. It's horrible.

I've used Priceline for many years and, generally, my experiences have been very good. However, as of late, this has not been the case. The most frustrating part is the very poor customer service. We recently rented a SUV for a family vacation through Priceline. Our reservation time was 12pm. We arrived at the car rental agency at 12pm and were told they were closed for the day! They offered to send us to another car rental location but, at this point, all the rentals had been taken.
We immediately contacted Priceline to ask for assistance. We were told they were not responsible for posting accurate rental times on their website but they would refund our money. We ultimately had to borrow a vehicle for vacation and three weeks later no refund had arrived. Our first phone call to Priceline to follow up on the refund was fruitless. We were promised the refund within 72 additional hours; nothing came. In our second call, the representative indicated the refund had not been processed correctly and, success, our refund arrived a short time after.
Our next experience was worse. We made a hotel reservation based on the amenities listed on Priceline's website; specifically, an onsite restaurant (an image was attached) and a gym. When we arrived, we were surprised the hotel had neither. The image of the "restaurant" was simply the tables for the continental breakfast. We called Priceline and were told they were not responsible for the image or the listing of amenities. In the end we were offered a small refund. And again, 16 days later, we have yet to receive the refund.
We've followed up with two different phone calls. First, we were told that the refund was successfully processed, and the problem was PayPal. A follow up phone call with PayPal indicated this wasn't true. Next, we were told the funds were refunded and it was not Priceline's fault we didn't receive the funds. However, Priceline would "investigate" the matter on our behalf. So, buyer beware. If all goes well with your reservation, you'll no doubt be happy with Priceline's competitive prices. However, should something go awry due to misinformation on their website, you will receive little help. Any promises of refunds will result in several frustrating phone calls with an outsourced customer service department who will be difficult to understand and offer little to no real assistance.

I was concerned but she worked for Priceline so I assumed that she knew what she was talking about. When I arrived I smelled urine at the front entrance and poor lighting. Reluctantly I checked in hoping room would better. I was wrong, I found black mold in the shower ceiling, rusted air vents, mildew on the curtains, broken desk and something smeared on the walls. The comforters were worn and overall the room was terrible. Priceline accepts no responsibility for their agent's action by suggesting another hotel when I stated which hotel I wanted to rent and saying that a 2.5 star hotel was better than a 4 star. They are shifting the responsibility to the hotel to refund the money and they have done nothing wrong.

I have used Priceline in the past many times. They have great deals most the time but their customer service has always been a little weak but usually I can tolerate it. This past weekend I have had the worst experience with them. I got a hotel thru them that turned out to be a horror story. But that wasn’t their fault. It was how they felt with the situation after. I was lied to on multiple occasions. We asked for a refund because the hotel accommodations were unacceptable. Priceline claimed to make attempts to the hotel to verify the cancellation for our return. We were told that we would have our refund within a half hour.
We were left in the cold waiting in our car for the refund so we could make other arrangements in the middle of the night. After sitting in the cold and waiting for over an hour we attempted to see why our refund was not going thru. We called and they told us they could not verify the cancellation so we had to wait at least 24 hours. When we refused to wait they claimed the hotel only said we had a partial cancellation which was not true at all. As we were standing in front of the staff they never made contact with them. After hours and multiple attempts they finally agreed to a full refund. It has been a few days and we still have not received our full refund.

I was robbed. I needed to stay at a hotel for a single night in two weeks time and reserved a room at the Hotel Zamora in St. Petersburg Beach, FL via Priceline.com. The wrong date was reserved by the website - or - the right date never accepted; which one we'll never know. The Priceline.com web site chose and reserved the room for the VERY NEXT DAY with no cancellations being able to be made in less than 48 hours which meant a simple website error would cost me $200.
I called Priceline a total of 8 times and The Hotel Zamora 5 times explaining their mistake to customer service reps who simply read from a script stating there was nothing they could do. Both Priceline AND the Hotel Zamora, both refused to acknowledge the computer/network/web site error despite the website showing my attempt to reserve the actual day I needed! Both pathetically hid behind policy excuses with The Hotel Zamora stating their policy offers no "modifications or exceptions," nor can they change dates despite it being an error and "it's clearly a Priceline glitch, not ours," while Priceline stated multiple times that "the Hotel is the only one who can make the exception or modification," and "we can't make contact with the Hotel."
Now, I'm out $200+ for absolutely NO REASON other than no one wanted to step up to correct a very simple problem. Since the Hotel benefitted from my loss, I now have to take the Hotel Zamora to Small Claims Court where either an Attorney for Zamora Hospitality Group, LLC or an officer/member of the LLC must show up to court. You think better business sense would prevail and they would simply correct the date to keep a customer happy instead of having to pay people (an Attorney or a 'Member' of the LLC as per FL Small Claims Rule 7.050) to sit in court all day and risking more bad reviews on their site? NOPE! They'd rather steal from the little guy hoping he'll do nothing about it and keep quiet!

I rented a car in a different country, and when we showed up to the car rental place there was nobody there to give us our rental car. Guess what Priceline is doing? Charging me because they said the car rental place was not open on a Saturday and that I should have gone on Monday to pick up the car rental. WHY THE HECK DID THEY ALLOW ME TO RESERVE A CAR ON SATURDAY IF THEY ARE NOT EVEN OPEN ON THAT DAY?!?! Plus now we are 40 minutes away from the airport, and their idea of common sense is that I should have to pay for Saturday and Sunday for a car when the rental company was not even open (yet allowed me to make the reservation nonetheless).
So now after being on the phone for 30 minutes with Priceline they let me know they cannot reimburse me until they get a hold of the car rental company, which surprise surprise I was unable to do when I called their customer service (Fox rental/Europcar). Vacation days were planned, family was notified, who also scheduled days off to pick her up from the airport, go get a rental car, and make all other necessary arrangements. We were checking emails on a daily basis, making sure flights were not changed or canceled and that all plans throughout were a go. We even purchased a new home printer to print out her itinerary that Priceline provided. On the day of her scheduled flight, we traveled 70 miles to the airport with itinerary in hand, still checking emails on the way. When we got to the counter and tried to print out her boarding passes, they informed us that they had nothing for us today for a flight from Reno to Lansing and that it had been rescheduled.
Priceline NEVER informed us via email or otherwise of this change, but made sure to send several emails a week on "great deals on hotels and rental cars". The good people at the ticket counter said that the flight was changed on the 14th, on which we received no notification from Priceline. On the 13th they sent us an updated itinerary that was in fact identical to the original one. After that was just more advertisements. We were lucky enough for a flight the following day, but now we have to travel an additional 140 plus miles and return at 4 am to the airport where there will be 3 flights back to back being booked at the same counter. We understand things happen, but some proper notification that we relied on was due, but we never received it. Would NOT recommend Priceline.

After 8 long years we were planning to go see our family in India so we booked our tickets thru Priceline. We are a family of 4 leaving Jan 21 and returning Feb 23, 2020. Each ticket costing at $1009.40 +Taxes and fees: $245.04 for a subtotal of $5017.76 and just to be on the safe side an added $400 of insurance thru Allianz Trip Protection (it’s the option Priceline gives you automatically during check out but doesn’t highlight that’s it’s insurance thru a different vendor and not an in-house Priceline team) making it a total of $5419.20. Unfortunately the Omicron virus strand came along and everyone we know overseas got it and it’s spreading fast as we hear from friends and family. We have 2 kids 7, 5 and I myself am incredibly high risk as I’m going thru chemo. After taking into consideration my team of doctor’s advice and well common sense we decided to cancel our tickets until times are better to travel overseas.
When we booked our tickets it was a matter of minutes. Everything done. However now that we are trying to cancel we have spent countless hours on the phone with Priceline. Some nice and willing to go out of their way to help but majority of extremely unhelpful and rude customer service agents. The insurance we purchased was a waste of $400.00. No one answers the phone there ever. We have also filed the claim via email 1 week ago and we have yet to even receive a confirmation from them that they are investigating our case.
When we call Priceline they tell us there is nothing they can do so we call Emirates. The airline is very clear since we purchased from a 3rd party we have to deal with them. However they helped us by taking our names off the list so we don’t become no shows for our flight and lose the whole amount. We call Priceline right back but they transfer us around with no real help. 1 customer service agent was really helpful and was on the final step of refunding our money but got disconnected as he was giving us the confirmation #. Then we called back multiple times since and some agents say they have emailed the airline, some say they have no records of any email and we have to call the insurance (who by the way 9 days into trying to cancel we have yet to be able to get ahold of a single agent or hear back via email).
In these unusual times where companies are refunding travel tickets without question there also exists Priceline who makes you cry out of frustration every step of the way! For the last 9 days we have spent at least 3-4 hours each day trying to call around get an answer for how we can get our money back! Never ever doing business with them. 1st and last!

I purchased a bundle - flight and hotel in August 2021, for a trip for December 2021. I had no issues with my flight however when landing at my destination, I reached the hotel that I purchased in the bundle (and was FULLY CHARGED FOR) only to find out, that somehow the reservation for the hotel was "cancelled" the same day I paid for the reservation. I have not received any notice of a hotel cancellation at all, and again my credit card was FULLY CHARGED for the flight and hotel. I did not receive any refund for the supposed hotel cancellation. The staff at the hotel informed me that this was one of MANY instances that this company randomly cancelled a customer reservation without notification. I was on the phone for 3 HOURS with Priceline customer service.
They couldn't tell me who cancelled the reservation but told me I should look for another hotel and make a reservation there because there were "none available" in the hotel I was currently waiting in. The staff at the hotel, assured me while looking at their system, they in fact had several available rooms. Priceline then booked me a room at the WRONG hotel and said they couldn't undo the booking and that my option was to travel to the other hotel for the night or pay out of pocket to stay where I was. After 3 hours, they finally were able to fix the reservation at the hotel where I was and refunded me $25 for the "inconvenience". This is the WORST "customer service" I had ever experienced. I will NEVER book with them again and you should not trust them with your travel.

I booked multiple trips through Priceline for the later half of last year and throughout this year. After I go through my last trip that I booked through Priceline, I don't think I'll ever book with them again. For the second time that I've requested a refund through them for a trip that I couldn't make, I've run into a wall. Despite the fact that I've booked my trips ENTIRELY through them, when asking for a refund, they give you other airlines and booking agents to call.
If ever you're looking for a refund, be prepared for long wait times and endless amounts of transfers and repeating your issues over and over. It took me 2 days of phone calls and emails to get a refund. And after all that, you may not get even half of the money that you prepaid for the trips (I got a measly $300+ return for a trip that I paid nearly $1000 for; you do the math). Car rentals, in particular, are nonrefundable. Even under military orders, which I've provided(though, I personally feel I shouldn't have to provide), they were unwilling to give me a refund.
Also, I just found it insulting that they would even have the gull to ask me why Japan closed their borders at the moment, knowing full well we are in the middle of another wave in a pandemic. Tbh, I shouldn't have even had to ask for my money back but I digress. I've yet to resolve that particular issue but I already have two different numbers that I have to call, even though I booked the trip through Priceline. I'm anticipating a "resolution" where I won't see much of my money returned back to me. Even though my VIP status with Priceline has been upgraded due to the amount of trips I've booked with them, I don't think I'll ever book with them again. Lastly, I think it's very telling that I've never been asked about how satisfied I've been with the customer service. It's because the customer service is nonexistent.

Very bad experience at customer service. I had a digital copy with barcode for covid test and the lady at customer service has no idea how to scan the barcode with her phone. After 15 minutes of waste time someone else came there and scanned it from his own phone. Secondly, I had 2 personal bags and she made me pay for the 2nd bag which is not heavy and easy to lift. This flight cost me very expensive. I make sure I will fly with Air Canada next time.

Do not use this company for any part of your trip or vacation. Cancellations might not be refundable and customer service will do nothing to assist you. I had a horrible experience and then was told "we have noted your feedback".

I had a death in the family. I had purchased the insurance. I first contacted United Airlines and they said I needed to contact Priceline since I purchased my flight from them. I then called Priceline where I was told I needed to contact the insurance company (the insurance which is offered on Priceline's website). I contacted the insurance company (Allianz) who seemed compassionate but only changed the dates of my insurance policy and nothing with my trip. After changing the dates I explained to the gentlemen that I needed to change my flight not my policy. At this point he told me I needed to speak to priceline and put me on hold then forwarded my call back to priceline where I was told I needed to file a claim with the insurance. Sounds like a joke but this really happened to me. I will not buy anything from priceline again-them and their insurance are worthless. Poor customer service with every person I have come into contact with.

Needed to cancel to due to serious sickness of a family member. Got charged $100 on a $250 rental days before scheduled rent. Will never use again! Regular rent directly through rental company is not really that much more expensive, and they allow cancellations a lot more freely...

The Priceline.com website advertises free 24 hour cancellations by saying "Book a flight with free cancellation for flexibility" and in the same place it asks if you wish to add a rental car. To me, as a customer, it looks like I can add a car and I am still under the Priceline 24 hours to cancel this reservation offer. I attempted to explained to a priceline customer service representative and they were condescending and kept repeating that they are not responsible for the rental car they offer their customers on the priceline.com website
Even though you are still on the priceline.com website, Priceline is not connected to nor do they take accountability for the Rental Car they offer customers on their website (again, on the priceline.com website). It appears as if they are offering free 24 hour cancellation for what a customer purchases. If you have to cancel your flight, even using the flight protection, you get stuck with the car rental. Terribly mis-leading. They need to have a RED FLAG to clearly communicate to the customer that they are not offering 24 hour cancellation with the 'Full' booking through priceline... "CAR IS NOT INCLUDED" in the package deal with 24 hour cancellation.
