I have been on the phone for 3 days trying to figure where our request stood for a date extension only to find Priceline canceled our reservation and could not accommodate us! The worst service I have ever used and will never use them again! Talked to 19 different people in 3 days and nothing was resolved!

I had booked a hotel room about 1 hour back. When I figured out the dates were messed up I called Priceline to modify our cancel. Priceline came back with one night charge for making the modification of date or canceling the whole trip. This is ridiculous and they say that is available on the fine print.

I booked two hotels through Priceline. Priceline only charged me for one of the hotels, the same hotel said Priceline wasn’t supposed to charge me so I had to pay again when I got there but the rate was $20 cheaper than Priceline charged me. Hotel said I had to get a refund from Priceline but the person on the phone said she can’t give me a refund since it was the hotel's error. If it was hotel error why did priceline not charge for the second hotel and the same thing happen? Save your money and just book with the hotel directly.

I'm very unhappy with the booking they provided me with! Wish I had only reviewed Frontier Airlines ahead of time. They charge a lot for a carryon and most other Airlines don't even charge for a carryon. Wow what a ripoff!!!

We were a family of 11, including three infants, who booked an overnight stay in the Airport Hilton hotel at Rome airport through Priceline before our flight home the next morning. Our flight from Sicily was delayed and we arrived late in the evening at the hotel, with an injured senior and a sick baby. We were obviously anxious to get into the four rooms we had booked through Priceline (with whom we had confirmed the day before). When we got to the counter, we were told we had no reservations and should step aside. We were totally shocked. After two hours of back-and -forth with Priceline (who kept assuring us we did have a reservation) and the hotel (who kept assuring us we did not), most of our party was shipped off to another hotel and our injured senior was put up in an accessible room at the Hilton (all at our expense).

By the time it was resolved, it was approaching midnight. Nobody had eaten for hours and the three infants were asleep on laps and the floor. It is hard to describe the chaos and stress involved in those two hours in a crowded lobby, with crying babies and a suffering senior. It was a complete nightmare. In the end, it appears that the third-party booking service that Priceline uses had screwed up. Oh, sorry. Priceline offered a weak apology and refunded our original purchase (for rooms that were never actually reserved) and added 20%. This did not even cover the cost of the rooms we had to accept that night (which did not have the cribs and cots we had arranged through Priceline), never mind all the stress and inconvenience. The bottom line here is that Priceline simply does not care about its customers - at all. We will never, ever use Priceline again and I would encourage you to do the same.

I booked a review based on the amenities listed on the Priceline website. When I got to the hotel, it was obvious the pool hadn't been used in years, So I declined. The man behind the counter said to call Priceline. So I called and told the lady I couldn't stay there because the amenities listed were untrue. The pool hasn't been in use in years. She asked if I had mentioned it to the hotel staff. Well of course I mentioned it as the reason I couldn't stay there. Still Priceline charge my card 142.18 which is way more than the two days I was to stay at the hotel I never stayed at to begin with.

I was trying to book a flight from South Bend to San Antonio and the price fluctuates day to day as expected. However, when I would choose a flight and the return, when I would get to the screen to fill in passenger information, it would claim the flight was sold out and take me back to flights where the same exact flight was still listed.

Today, I tried EVERY flight on the page and receive the SAME result. When I look at the airlines reservation pages, these flights are still available. Since I have not booked a flight, I don't have a confirmation number to get through their robot answering system to a REAL person. This is different from the Priceline I used to love. There were no hassles and help was a phone call away. I want a good price but I need a legitimate price and flight and not the GAMES that Priceline wants to play! Everyone can make their own choice, but I cannot be the only person that this has happened to recently. I know other sites where they book a cheap rate and then call you to say it is no longer available but have the same flight for $200 more. If Priceline does reach out, I don't want apologies I would want a flight at what they listed.

They explained to me that they would be able issue us a 200 dollar credit because we were not going to be able to make our flight back home the next day, that we had already booked. Then after waiting for over an hour and a half on hold on the phone, they tell me that they are unable to issue us the credit. Not only that, they wanted us to pay an absurd amount of money to purchase new tickets for a different flight to return home. They lied and were very unprofessional about the whole situation. I spoke with multiple supervisors and managers to no avail. In the end, I told them they would be losing all of not only my future business but also all of my friends and family as well. They did not even care at all. Terrible service.

Very bad experience. I found a good deal on Priceline, which stated in the room details that the room accommodates 4 people and 4 adults breakfast are included daily. But later when I received the confirmation email, it said only 2 guests are allowed and no free breakfast was mentioned. I contacted the customer service, and sent him/her the screenshot of the room detail information, but the representative just insisted no such information was included on the contract page prior to booking confirmation. As for how many people are allowed, they only guarantee two. So all the selling point information on the website is misleading? The customer representative showed such unprofessionalism there. He/she was not helpful and showed an impatient attitude that all these troubles are caused by me. Thought I found an unbelievable good deal. Had to cancel my reservation. Will never use it again.

If I could give a zero star I would. Had to cancel a trip. Was able to get credited back to bank account the hotel fees. Airline fees I called about. Was told by rep that my money would be back in my bank acct within 7 days. Nothing came so I called back. Was then told it had to be a credit and could book through Priceline or airline Co. directly. Called Priceline to apply for new trip and was told the "status ticket was unavailable" and had to call the airlines. After waiting for 2hrs to speak with a Airline representative I was told it was a 3rd party purchase and had to go back to Priceline.

Called Priceline for the 2nd time today and lady said I can use credit but can't do a bundle package with a credit. Even though I was paying more for hotel and diffrence of the credit for airfare. So have to book flight with rep and then go online and book hotel separately..which means I lose the discount for booking a bundle package. She started to book my flight to only find out it was going to cost me $1,000 more for flight (not including hotel)!! So because I had to cancel and have a credit I get to pay double what the website says it would cost. This is ridiculous and will never use Priceline for any further trips. What a joke!!!

Priceline was supposed to notify us but did not, we were left scrambling to find a new hotel with limited options. I'll never use them, or perhaps any third party again. The "savings" isn't that much and certainly not worth it if they can't even honor their agreements. They then made the situation worse by sending an automated email asking how my trip was and trying to get me to upgrade to a VIP membership....seriously you guys needs to work on your basics before trying to sell me upgrades. When you make the reservation they do not tell you the whole the truth. All they ask is what is your form of payment. Once you give your card number they take the money at that time but that is not the whole fee. It is a 300 hundred dollar deposit plus the fee they take at the time of making the reservation, so once I learned of all of that at the counter I cancelled my reservations and they still took my money, and I was told it would take up to ten days to get my money back which they did not want to return to me.

But before then the lady swore up and down there was no money taken from my card and I told her that it was money taken from card. At this point I am upset and asked for a manager or someone else. She placed me on hold with loud music playing in my ear and when the man came on the phone he gave me a case number and told me not to call again which was rude. All I wanted was my money back because the reservation was not honored, that's all I asked for because it was mine money and I don't have money to burn on this company. I will never use Priceline again and will tell all my family and friends not to use this company. Use someone else. Please save your money! I had the WORST experience with Priceline. 1. My 1st flight was delayed which caused me to also miss my connecting flight and I received no notice from priceline. Missing my connecting flight, I also missed a night at the hotel I booked. Moreover, I had to rebook w/ the airline. Once I did that, priceline refused to help me with the hotel. Said something about not being able to help bc I rebooked with the airline (I wouldn't have done that if priceline helped me in the first place). Then I asked if I can get a partial refund for the hotel since I didn't use that night! They said I couldn't even though the contract said I could cancel until 1159 that night!.

I was on the phone with priceline for 2.5 hrs and no one helped me. Basically told me I was ** out of luck. 2. My flight back home was cancelled and rebooked for the next day! They had availability that night for flights and I wasted another night in a hotel. Priceline takes your money and refuses to help with any promised services. You're better off booking on your own than using them.

VERY disappointed with Priceline and making a single change to my reservation. The drop off time listed on the car I needed to change to a few hours later. Upon contacting them immediately after the reservation I was disconnected twice from 2 different agents who had me waiting for around 10-15 minutes and continually asking me to 'hold while they looked into my reservation'. They would then disconnect me and I would have to start the process all over. The following day I reached out again and had the agent actually stay with me the entire time, and was faster to look into my account, but upon doing so told me that they would not change the return time and rather needed to speak with the car rental company on the day of my travel to see if it was possible.

I do not understand why something so simple (a few hour change) that is being made weeks in advance can not be changed. I will not be doing business again with Priceline. It is frustrating when using them to book something prior to travel is to do so without worry and now they have created just more concern leading to the travel.

Upon check-in, I asked when and where breakfast was served and was told they haven’t served breakfast in a while. The main reason, if not the entire reason, I booked here was for the free breakfast as I am here with my three kids to visit Sea World.

After 2hrs 45min on the phone with Priceline who initially didn’t want to do anything and told me I could cancel if I didn’t want to stay (yes, their “solution” was for me to pack up my three kids and try and find another hotel at 930 at night), I finally, but only after pushing for hours, got them to cough up a $30 credit, which probably won’t even cover half of what it will set me back to take my kids to breakfast for the next three days. Priceline makes a big deal of their guarantee, but then won’t stand behind it and expects you the consumer to take the hit when they or the hotel drop the ball.

You buy then that's not the product!!! Advertised a 'pet friendly hotel'. I bought - not pet friendly!!!! It turns out not pet friendly - would not change booking- look I didn't turn up on the day. Booked through Priceline who are Agoda- basically bought a 'Pet friendly' hotel with York Central Holiday Inn. Advertised as pet friendly on Priceline. Added my pet and the Holiday Central does not accept pets?? Then spent 3 hrs to the most unhelpful team of staff in history. To be told as my dog is not a service dog no he can't go? I said by UK law a service dog is different to a 'pet friendly'. A service dog is not a pet and why advertise a pet friendly hotel who won't take a pet. They said that's basically not their problem???? What the actual???

Agoda is their sister company in UK who the Holiday Inn transferred me to and Agoda tried to get rid of me off their phone by basically saying I provided the wrong email address and to go back to Priceline. Priceline said it's a pet friendly hotel they advertised that I bought and if the hotels own pet friendly policy does not accept pets that's my fault? Neither company would help or take responsibility. AGODA wanted me off the phone. Would not let me speak to a manager and told me the email address I was providing was incorrect so they could not help - I had the email open in front of me.

NEVER EVER USE AGODA/PRICELINE FRAUD. WILL BE REPORTING TO TRADING STANDARDS AS THAT. Also call centre staff no idea what I was talking about. Could not understand me at all and struggled with a basic conversation- worrying considering they are dealing with my data and bank details. I have all the Facebook Messenger messages to launch a complaint and screen shots of the false advertising for trading standards. Caused me 3 hours of upset not resolved still. Horrendous. Please don't use. I beg you for your own sanity. Avoid like a plague!!!!

There was also a 50+ person party adjacent to our room that rocked loudly until well after 12am! Very poor sleeping conditions. We canceled the 2nd night and were told they'd refund the 2nd night. We have gotten the run around from all parties from the hotel front deck, GM and their referral to AGODA (Priceline's partner). Even though they partner with AGODA, the hotel could not/would not provide AGODA'S number?

After 45 min. w/ the AGODA rep, I was put on hold for 3- 5 to fix a Pc issue, THREE DIFFERENT TIMES. Each time the customer service rep was surprised that I was still on the line- awaiting my $160 refund. Finally he stated that he couldn't help but gave me an 877# to get my refund. He would not tell me who I was calling! I called anyway, since I had no other option at that point! Are you ready for this? The number I was given was ADT, the home security company. NO REFUND FROM ADT. Very bad customer service, at all levels. Seems Priceline just DOES NOT CARE! Why is this attitude a secret and not common knowledge, especially with all the terrible reviews. Why not a class action suit? I'm sure the MANY CHEATED Priceline customers would gladly join in!

I booked a car rental through Priceline because it was more affordable, than through Hertz, there was more fees and taxes. When I arrived to pick up my vehicle, Hertz rep. told me I had no insurance and I had to get one. I ended up getting insurance through Hertz which was way more expensive. The filling day I called Priceline they told me they would file a claim and it would take 10 business days. 10 days later they declined my claim. Called the filling day to speak to a representative that did not want to help at all and transferred me to a supervisor. After speaking with the supervisor she told me I had to call Priceline insurance carrier myself to see if I could get refund.

I asked why would I need to call someone that it’s their carrier and I booked it through Priceline. I only need to speak to Priceline. Priceline is responsible for these charges, not their carrier. I explained to the supervisor that I have rental coverage through my personal insurance but I didn’t want to use it. I didn’t want headaches, if something was to happen let you guys deal with it, that’s why I got it in the first place. Very frustrating experience and not happy at all with this company, not going to be using this company in the future if they can’t back up their contracts we signed for. I thank god nothing happened with the vehicle or else this would of turned into a huge headache.

Had me charged twice for my reservation for two nights and the second charge was way above the amount they charged me the first time. I tried reach out their customer service, talked to several people and sent all the proofs they needed but none of could help me with my refund. They were keep making excuses about the hotel manager but when I tried to contact them, the hotel manager got disappeared and the other employees told me to contact the Priceline customer service instead.

So basically I ended up in a loop with no help getting my refund. Also, found out the Booking.com and the Priceline are working as sisters company. So, when you have an issue with Priceline you only get to reach out the assistance that works for Booking.com. We had a travel hotel booking with this Priceline in Niagara Falls USA side and Niagara falls Ontario Canada side. Every time Priceline charge me twice. The app has a really dishonest business model. They take advantage of the anonymity to sell terrible no refundable experiences. We realized comparing our reservation with other offers that they hide the scores and the comments when the place is not well reviewed. Also, they do not keep the hotel photos up to date which, in our case, was very misleading.

We have made a reservation of a hotel classified as 3 stars. After Priceline provided us the name, we saw on Google Reviews that the hotel is actually between 1 and 2 stars. A decaying place that was only good back in the day. The past score made the average close to 3. A place with cockroaches infestation, black mold, electrical problems, thieves records, with a 3-star score.

The app sold us a 3-star experience with no refunds, and it didn't deliver what it was supposed to. So, I naturally tried to contact customer service. The answer was that they could no refund me, that I needed to contact the hotel to solve my issues. Of course the hotel will not give my money back, it is a decaying place with lots of debts. I am not angry with the hotel, because at least I know what to expect when I enter the reception. I am, however, angry with the platform that makes lots of money tricking their customers. To a better experience, go for Booking, AirBnb, or any other service where you actually can get what you're paying for.

Updated on 08/02/2022: I booked a two night stay through Priceline, for a stay at a hotel in Toronto, and I booked this from another city in Canada. I found a decent, not great deal, but good enough. When I checked my credit card statement, they had billed me $170 more than they had advertised, which worked out very close to the conversion from USD to CDN dollars. At first they called it a security deposit, but that turned out to be false, then I got the run around for weeks, with no result. In particular, they asked for the same documents from me, four times. They try to wear you out. I would avoid this company at all costs.

Original Review: This has been an ordeal at the very least. I booked a Canadian hotel, from a Canadian city to another Canadian city, assuming the price was in Canadian dollars. Not until I looked at my credit card statement, did I realize that I had been charged in USD. Talk to the site, for the first time, and they tell me it's really a security deposit. They've already taken my money, so I'm not sure why it's for a security deposit, and it isn't the actual difference. Then I see they've billed me for the reservation again, and then a credit.

The credit mysteriously disappears and now I'm on the phone with my credit card company, tracking down the credit. I've dealt with three different CSRs, with no clear result, having to wait until I've finished the trip, to recoup any money. And if it doesn't happen, I'll have to go through this again. This has been a colossal waste of my time and energy.

Since my trip is in three days just wanted to make sure my car rental was at the terminal, come to find out it wasn’t (I was irritated since I chose airport location). I read the horrid reviews and unsafe protocols that recently happened to someone who rented a car 19hrs ago.

The company had 1.5 star and were charging fraudulent charges after returning the car. Some people said the car was more than five years old, unsanitary, engine light on and just unsafe vehicles. So I called and voiced my concern since it wasn't on the terminal and I had 2 minors with me. On top of that, I questioned their decision to work with terrible car companies that can put people's life at risk. Credit info can be compromised. I thought my concerns were enough to get a refund therefore I can make and rebook my car rental with a more credible company. They flat out said I agreed and reserve my car rental through them and will not receive a refund. If cancelled everything will be forfeited on my end.

How can a company refer you to a terrible and a unreliable and fraudulent company. This just boggles my mind how they won't do anything about it. The Priceline website lists car rental deals, but fails to include key selection criteria or key information about why a deal might be so great. This is compounded when the car rental company's website is not as clear as it should be concerning its car rental contract policies. Consequently, the customer wastes their time and possibly their money on a car rental contract they would have never purchased if they had known important aspects of the car rental contract. The Priceline website did not indicate those car rental offerings that included a "no contract change" clause.

Most customers would not select this as an option if the information was clearly indicated. This Priceline website oversight was compounded by the car rental's website that did not make the "no contract change" clause as clear as it should have on its website. This was pointed out to the car rental company, but they did not address the issue or offer an alternative. As for Priceline, a rep told me to speak to the car rental company and took no action on my concerns about the Priceline website.

I purchased airline tickets along with the “trip insurance” (in case of a necessary cancelation) for my girlfriend who was trying to fly in to see me. The week of her trip, she got sick, which turned out to be COVID. Priceline refused to cancel or refund my trip and referred me to their “insurance” company, who refused to refund the trip or give us credit because she did a home test instead of spending money on the doctor. I guess they expected us to be as irresponsible as they are and flown anyways and put many more United Airlines passengers at risk. Priceline is completely irresponsible with their policies, and their “trip insurance” is a farce.

So, the biggest issue I cannot get over is a problem with a few of these so called "best deal" sites. Essentially, they lure you in with great prices then that last ticket (that keeps showing up even if you simply backup or search again) is suddenly gone. Someone grabbed it (even though still available constantly), but you can pay (only) $125 more for another "comparable" deal... This is the scam... They show you they have the best prices by showing you fake cheap prices and then "normal" prices that "compare" to everyone else.

You aren't getting a deal, which is the entire point, thus going to American Airlines would save time since their bad deals are apparent and consistent. It is an incredible waste of time trying to find actual good deals through sites for tickets, since all of them tease you with good deals only to only provide you normal prices you can get anywhere else in the end. Lies!

On April 15th 2022 I purchased a 1-night hotel stay via Priceline.com for May 11th 2022 at a Ramada hotel in Tukwila, WA. The reservation was prepaid in full at the time of booking and non-refundable. Upon landing, I called the hotel for the airport shuttle (an amenity advertised by Priceline), but the hotel receptionist stated that the shuttle was not running. I told the receptionist I would be there shortly and took an Uber. When I arrived, a couple walked in just before me and booked a room for the night.

Upon presenting my confirmed reservation to the same receptionist, he coldly told me that there are absolutely no rooms left and there was nothing he could do. I called Priceline, who also talked to the receptionist at length. He told us that the hotel was overbooked/oversold; in other words, my confirmed and PREPAID room had been given away.

This ordeal lasted several hours; I was talking to Priceline on one line, who was also talking to the hotel receptionist standing right in front of me on another line, while we both spent lengthy periods on hold. I recorded all phone calls between myself and Priceline. It was well past midnight when Priceline finally advised me that they would not assist in finding another room for the night. Despite it being raining outside and cold, I began walking to the other hotels in the area while still talking to Priceline. Hotel after hotel told me they were sold out. To my complete shock, the Priceline rep further stated that they would not even provide me with a refund, at which point I demanded to speak to a supervisor.

The supervisor reiterated that even though I paid for a room I never received, they had no obligation to process a refund. Dumbfounded, Priceline literally left me standing in the rain. To add insult, I have “VIP Platinum” status (their highest), which entitles me to their “Premium Customer Service.” After loyally using Priceline for over a decade, this is their “best” customer service.

Priceline told my boyfriend and I that we would get a king size bed with a pull out couch since the hotel they booked us at had no more doubles (2 queens). We were okay with it, until we arrived and was put in a room with just a king size bed and that’s it. Then to make matters worse the hotel said they had no more rooms so they could not switch us, After Priceline assured us twice that we would get a king size with a pullout couch. We were told at last minute that the hotel can give us whatever room they want, and we were not allowed to get a refund. And when calling “PRICELINE,” we were place on hold then hung up on 3 different times. So thanks a lot Priceline now our teenager has to sleep on the floor. First trip in 3 years and went back to Priceline that I used before. Booked a hotel on 5/27 at 11:30 PM and made the reservation for 5/28 checking out on 5/29. Get to the hotel on 5/28 to check in and the guy behind the counter said that Priceline made the reservation for 5/27. I called Priceline support and spoke to two representatives and a supervisor and after telling them the whole situation they all said that they would NOT help me when I was 3 hours from home and had an exhausted family.

They charged me for the room, did not help me get a different room arranged when I was 3 hours away from home with a toddler when we were all exhausted and they didn’t even care. What a horrible experience and I will NEVER use this app again. I hope that those of you reading through the reviews and find this one also choose to not use Priceline because although they have a lot of fancy commercials with big stars they are a subpar company with representatives that will not help you in a bad situation. My 21st anniversary is the end of the month so we are celebrating in Sedona. I decided to contact Priceline to help find us a King size room at a better deal. Bad idea!! First, I’m pretty sure they hire outside of the USA as I had a hard time with all the accents from their customer reps making it that much more difficult to communicate! I was very clear on the call I was looking for a King. I was given a couple recommendations and then was told the best rate was the studio for $279. I assumed it had a King as that was what we had discussed. So I agreed to the room and booked it. I was stupid and didn’t want to pay the extra $100 for refundable as I felt like I wouldn’t need it.

Needless to say after speaking to the resort and told the studio actually was a queen not a king I called Priceline back. After several calls of ping pong from the resort and Priceline. I was told that it was nonrefundable but could change it to a king for an extra $40 plus tax and fees a night. As I was not told the room was a queen I asked to have it changed. They made a claim to their escalations department said I would get a call back in 2 hours! However, no call back after 24 hrs, then was told it could take 48hrs. Then still no call back after 72+ hours I call back and then was told that a decision had been made to decline my request because I agreed to the Studio. I of course did not agree as I was under the impression the Studio was a king. So my claim was sent further up in their department. 72 hrs later I get an email stating they are not going to change the room even though I had asked for a King!

I’m so annoyed with the whole thing! When I spoke to the resort they advised me that they price match and to avoid this happening again to just go through the hotel/resort! Well I learned my lesson thinking I saved a few bucks!! Never again!! I will never use Priceline for anything! Worst customer service and experience!! I’m trying to not let this experience ruin what should be a nice weekend of celebration.

I called and made the reservation with an agent over the phone through Priceline. I have no business of affiliation with Booking.com, nor did I authorize any transaction or reservation through booking.com. I called because I was driving, and my fiance had looked up options online and got the alert "call for even more savings" or whatever so we called. Initially the agent quoted me twice the going rate online so I thanked him and said I would just book online. He then back peddled and asked me to hold on again and came back with 58.99 for a KING room that met my basic requirements, a pool, king bed, breakfast, and pet friendly. I confirmed and reconfirmed that this was for a king size bed with these specifications. Because I was informed that as soon as the reservation was made at least the first night was confirmed either due to the time of the call.

I was traveling last minute for a funeral and the space I thought would be available wasn't going to be. I did not have time to check the email confirmation just received the notification that I had received it. Considering I had booked twice with Priceline exclusively for my traveling needs previously without any issue I made the mistake of having confidence in your business. I checked into the hotel as soon as I got into town as it was already after 10 and I had been driving for hours with a dog, a toddler and we were all exhausted.

I went to go unpack in the room. I open the door and realize that it was a single double bed and not going to be enough space, and I had booked a king. I went back to check in desk and was told the reservation was made for a double bed and they could only help with an upcharge. I then stepped/pulled away. It was a drive through check in. And proceeded to call to find out what the issue is, when I called from the Priceline website then to my surprise I was redirected to a booking.com customer service agent. I then explained the situation and was told since I spoke with a Priceline phone agent I needed to contact Priceline. At this point it's after 11pm and I decided to take my business elsewhere. I went back to check in and attempted to return the keys and get a refund and was told they would not be able to provide a refund immediately but that the upgrade would only be another 17.50.

At this point I was running out of time to even get in anywhere and had no funds as the motel 6 ran my credit cards already, so I paid the upcharge and pulled into the parking lot and proceeded to opt for the text option only to be told that the reservation was made through booking.com and to contact them. I informed the rep over text that booking redirected me to Priceline. But insisted I needed to contact booking. So I called AGAIN! Spoke with an agent that gave me the same run around as the first so I asked for a supervisor, who not only was not helpful but cancelled my reservation, I also received the email confirmation for the cancellation. Ultimate he told me this was not an issue Booking could resolve because the original conversation was with a Priceline phone agent.

So I tried to call again and was again redirected to booking before I could even get a human on the phone so I called the line that I originally booked on and asked to speak with a manager and was finally able to make contact with Priceline customer service who again tried to tell me I had to call booking.com. I am at a loss as to how the circle games are tolerated by your active customers. He finally got a supervisor or senior agent and then while my three year who is exhausted and tired of being in the car is screaming assures me he has escalated the issue and I would get a response in 1-3 hours. This is at 12:30 am as I am casually driving around in an area I am unfamiliar with and considering I had already seen the police at the motel 6 I didn't feel totally safe there or stopping generally anywhere around where I was supposed to be early this morning.

I drove around the areas my fiance is more familiar with for a few hours while I waited for the response, and by 4 when I didn't receive any response or even acknowledgement I called again and spoke with a manager who got me to manager who escalated the issue again but told me I couldn't count on any specific time frame to hear back and my reservation had already been cancelled by the rude booking manager. After driving around all night and having been up since 7am on the 14th I drove the almost three hour drive home because I didn't know what else to do. I even called the motel six to get my refund so I could just find somewhere to sleep and they told me they got the cancellation but as it was so late in the night they couldn't help me until after 10 am today.

I have never been dismissed or treated so poorly by a customer service team or teams in my life. I called customer service again this morning because I was supposed to get a call back from manager and never did. And was again treated dismissively, told there was no one I could speak to and nothing anyone could do for me, until it was reviewed. The funeral I was supposed to attend was my best friend from childhood and very important to me, and I was supposed to be there at 3 pm today for the memorial and this evening spreading ashes. I now have charges I can't reverse on my card, absolutely no gas and spent all my gas money driving around. Not to mention the pure emotional and mental exhaustion of just trying to speak with someone while trying to manage my family and drive in an area that is not known for its low crime rate.

I needed a king bed in a pet friendly hotel with breakfast and a pool so I didn't have to think about breakfast or fight about where to go to ease my stress in a time of pain, so I could keep my child contained and entertained without having to drive around in the times I wasn't dealing with everything with the funeral. I had my dog because I didn't get told until late yesterday evening and made the reservation on the drive. I needed it when I arrived at 10:30 pm, I needed to not spend an hour and a half to even get anyone on the phone after I paid the upcharge for a room that was cancelled afterward that I never even entered. I needed someone to call me back or email me with a resolution when they said they would. I am literally in tears. I am so disappointed in my overall experience I don't even know where to begin and I was looking forward to expanding my relationship as things open back up and my family begins traveling this summer.

We were told we CAN use them by end of 2022 and with email confirmation that our credit are there to use for our next trip. They won't acknowledge it and told us to call the airline and they can deal with it. We call the airline and they were not able to help since our tickets were puchased through 3rd party- Priceline. They also told us we only have $27 credits left? Then where did the rest of the $$$ go? Priceline literally took our money. Thanks. Never trusting them ever again.

I had to make a change in my airline reservation due to circumstances beyond my control; and in dealing with Priceline and trying to get clarification they rudely redirected me to the airline..."we have no control over what the airline does". They did not listen to my concerns, refused to give me contact information so I could file a complaint in writing, argued with me and made a bad situation worse. I had to call 5 different times. With no resolution, got hung up on once, called back and had to keep repeating my request with an end result of "don't worry about it."

I don't appreciate or trust a company that provides clear and concise info on how to take your money, but plays ping-pong with the customer when they express concerns or have questions. They literrally took my money, charged me extra money, and then refused to help me, basically placing blame on the airline. I spent an hour on the phone allowing the representative to make changes, go over the details and pricing, and confirm what I wanted. By the time we had everything in place and ready to go I was informed that they needed to consult their rate desk to get the purchase authorized. That took another 15 minutes. They actually got one of two flights done. They had to consult the rate desk again for the return flight which took another 15 minutes. Then they told me the return flight wasn't available anymore so we had to stop everything and refund the itinerary changes. They told me I had to call the airlines and get the changes done through them. Which means I had to call Alaska Airlines and Delta Airlines to make the changes to my itinerary.

Basically, that whole call was a complete waste of time because they lose the opportunity to book a flight because the process of confirming everything is too long. If you have to make a change to a flight and you booked through Priceline then you're most likely out of luck and you're going to have to jump through extra hoops to get your flights taken care of even if you have insurance on them. You're better off going directly through the airlines themselves and cut out the middle man.

I rented a car through Priceline and paid for the car up front. The information identified that I may be charged for extras like toll charges, car seats, or other 'optional' services. But nothing mentioned insurance. I rent cars a lot. In fact, I worked at a car rental place while I was in university. So I know how it works. I always rent front Avis and had a reserved a car from them, but then saw a deal from Priceline I couldn't resist. $16/day! The Avis rental was $42. So I booked the $16/day Priceline deal through Economy rentals.

When I arrived, I was suddenly being 'upsold' items. I expected that. But what I didn't expect was I would be required to show proof of insurance to rent a car. The extra price of insurance was $32/day. That is double the cost of the car!! And I have insurance through my credit card AND my home insurance policy. I declined and they wanted me to show evidence. I didn't have it with me. I have never been required to show it before. They then refused to rent me the car. I spent an hour logging into accounts and getting on the phone with the insurance company - but what I really wanted to do was cancel the rental. Extra hidden fees that aren't written out made me worry about being scammed by them. I would rather head back to the airport and rent an Avis car.

I called Priceline and they said "sorry non-refundable". So after an hour trying to get my money back from Priceline I was stuck. I either had to pay an extra $32/day or lose my $200 that I already paid for the car, or spend another hour on the phone with the credit card company. I finally had the evidence that I was covered for insurance, and showed it to the lady at the counter, who took one glance at it and didn't even take a copy of it. Clearly it was just a money grab. I then go out to the car. It had almost 100,000 miles on it, was covered in dents, didn't have any windshield washer fluid, and the entire interior was covered in stains and the inside was chipped and dented and looked, and smelled, like it belonged to a bunch of drug dealers.

Never ever ever again. Pay more. Get a reservation at Avis, or Budget, or Hertz. OH - and did I mention that they still charged me $4/day extra for "insurance administration" fees??? Like WTF... because I didn't take their $32/day insurance I had to pay $4/day to decline it. NOTHING in the terms and conditions mentioned this. I will never fall for it again. On a positive note, the car didn't break down...

I booked hotel reservations through Priceline.com. I traveled 2 states away, which was over 9 hours of driving. When I arrived at my destination, I was told that the hotel was overbooked, and they had no room for me. This was the LAST thing I wanted to hear, after a long drive and not knowing anyone in the area. No other hotels had room either, due to an Apple Blossom Festival occurring that weekend. The associate at the hotel front desk told me that Priceline “buys up so many reservations, without knowing how many rooms there truly are available. Also, Priceline doesn’t share individual’s contact information with hotels - if they had, the hotel front desk would have contacted me before my trip began, I wouldn’t have wasted 20 hours!!

I have all the receipt saved with the original price of the ticket and the amount I paid for for the extra seat selection fee. However, they say they don’t have a record of this and we can’t get a refund. Priceline customer service ended up frustrated with me and keep saying I didn’t pay for it even though I sent them proof of all the payment and original price of the ticket without the upgrade. The lack of accountability and unprofessional service is absolutely disgusting to see. The best bet is always buy through the airline instead of this kind of websites. Absolutely horrible.

When I tried to modify my booking due to the change, it wouldn't save my selection. When I tried to select "refund" it said the airline wouldn't allow it. That's unacceptable, to have paid for a flight that is now forcing a huge change. I am NOT collecting my checked bag at Newark and traveling an hour through NYC to get to JFK. Not happening. Not paying for that. The virtual chat assistant and the virtual phone prompts are ineffective and they kept giving me the wrong information for my trip ID. No, I'm not flying to India and no, my flight reservation isn't for last year. When I FINALLY got through to someone on the phone, he told me there was "no change." Yes there was, and I don't care who made the change as long as someone fixes it.

Years ago Priceline was responsive and had good deals. Experience last year was that I was double billed by a hotel and I eventually resolved the problem no thanks to Priceline. Latest trip is an overseas reservation where a Priceline "travel agent" apparently used "Agoda" to make a reservation at an overseas hotel but the hotel cannot confirm that I have a valid reservation.

Priceline gave me two separate confirmation numbers for the trip but the hotel would not acknowledge either one. The priceline "chat agent" could not understand the problem that I did not want to show up at an unknown hotel after 24 hours of travel and find out I did not have a valid reservation. Maybe I could get a partial refund eventually from Priceline but I do not want to spend many late night hours looking for another hotel after arrival because of a Priceline trademark screwup.

I am afraid that Priceline has gone completely clueless and is now completely unreliable. In theory, priceline has some value if you are looking at an unknown area and they can give you some hotel names. But they just cannot seem to give a reliable reservation. I do not need the misery that Priceline offers their unfortunate customers.

I used Priceline thinking I'm saving however noticed today because we were locked out my husband's Priceline account and had to call to get it reset that I'm not saving money. I'm paying more. A person sitting next to me not a vip member logs into Priceline and can pay less than what I pay as a VIP gold member so I call Priceline the reservation department. Quoted me a price and told me I was saving thirty percent but it was an even higher price than the person next to me and the one I just got of course they can't help me when I address the issue so they transfer me to another dept who tries to give me excuses as to why this is.

Oh I forgot to mention when I reset my password and logged in I was able to see a vip deal that had my room even lower than the three other prices I mentioned above but when I opened it and started to book I was kicked off the app and then it wouldn't show me any hotels. I have the Priceline app on my phone so I open it to try to book and given yet another amount different from all of these and I also open my Gmail and go to my itinerary from yesterday and go to book again after it showing me I would get a discount for previously booking but again not true I get another higher amount. I spent three hours on the phone which was a waste of time my issue not resolved and all this is after the other day being 34 cents short on my room and Priceline saying they couldn't help me. I want to bring to the attention of all those who rely on bidding for hotel room on Priceline using Pricebreakers. I am bringing to your attention our harrowing experience on a recent trip to New York. We drove from Boston and arrived at around 10 PM. We had our 16 year old daughter traveling with us. First of all, we couldn't locate the hotel as it was nondescript and in dilapidated condition. We had the worst shock of our life when the hotel quality was lower than 2 stars even though Priceline promised and charged for a 4 star hotel. It was 10 PM and we had already checked into the room. The carpets were completely soiled and the corridors were stinking. The room was even in worse condition.

When we called the Priceline customer service to complain, the first customer service representative promised that the Priceline relocation team would accommodate us in a nearby hotel and we were put on hold after cancelling our reservation without providing us with an alternative hotel. The customer service team was from a different country and had no clue as to where we would go late at night with a child. Where would we go at that time in the night with a child? We just decided to bear through the night in the same hotel and checked out in the morning. We had to find another hotel at the last minute for the second night.

I believe Priceline made three major mistakes. First, not providing us with a 4 star hotel as legally committed. The bidding process itself was a scam. I am happy to share why at a later time. Second major mistake was misleading us about the relocating team helping us to find a close by hotel. Finally, the third biggest mistake was to leave a family with a child in the middle of the night to fend for themselves. Please be aware of the scam as you would always get unrated hotel from the three choices that you bid on. Gullible customers get carried away by the lure of other two expensive hotels.

Each time I found an acceptable flight itinerary and tried to book it I received the same response: "We're Sorry, that flight has just sold out." I spent an hour one afternoon trying itinerary after itinerary (a total of about 25 options) and received the exact same reply to EVERY one of them. There's NO WAY that 25 flights "just" sold out in less than an hour. Of course, each successive itinerary chosen was more expensive than the last. I even "leap-frogged" some cheaper choices, figuring the more expensive or more obnoxious itineraries were more likely to be available. Same outcome.

I wasted a LOT of time trying to book with Priceline, and then wasted some MORE time trying to COMPLAIN to them using their "contact us" option. My "chat" was obviously with a Bot at first, and after putting in several replies to this Bot I was finally routed to "Cheryl", and after waiting about 5 minutes for our "chat" to begin, I was then cut off by their system. Original review:

We purchased a Black Friday deal through Priceline, chose the flight and then the resort. The whole purpose for booking through Priceline I was that we wanted an all inclusive trip. My daughter and her boyfriend wanted their expenses prepaid and to only bring a small amount of spending money. Because my daughter has been having difficulty walking the last few days, I called the resort to check amenities and inquire about walking distances. During that conversation I was informed that the “junior suite All Inclusive” that we booked as a deal, was according to the resort not inclusive of anything. No food, drink, or activities included.

Since this was supposed to be a “proposal trip” you can imagine the stress on a young couple when they learn that to have food and beverages included it would double the cost of their trip. After hours of phone calls and being transferred from Priceline to booking.com they were not at all helpful. They have canned responses which are they same no matter what you say. They transfer between companies with a different representative every time and default in circles with zero intention or effort to help the consumer.

The resort Villa del Palmer was rude and unwilling to even help find a solution or even meet us halfway. Needless to say, stress increases inflammation and after dealing with these CON ARTISTS, she can not walk to the restroom unassisted now. She will not only need a wheelchair for the airports but also at the resort. This 22 year old couples dream of walking on the beach will now be looking at the beach from a place the wheelchair is accessible to and paying for meals that were advertised by the resort as included.

Priceline is the most unprofessional company I have ever reserved a car through. Why, you ask? Priceline reserved a car for me in the wrong state. When I called Priceline's customer service to correct problem either by a transfer of the reservation to the correct state or at least a refund, so I could apply the money to a new reservation, I didn't receive the proper assistance. Priceline's customer service is located in the Philippines and agents seem to be ill trained in customer service relations. In fact, the agents in customer service just passed me from one agent to another, then I was finally told that I could not transfer my reservation to the correct state or get a refund.

I was dumbfounded to find that my reservation was made in Albany New York, instead of Albuquerque New Mexico, where I needed the car and Priceline's customer service was not taking their mistake seriously. I resolved my own problem by reserving a car through Orbit, while I was still in the airport; then I jumped on the shuttle bus to the car rental center and picked up the car that I just reserved. I tried to get a refund when I return from my trip through Priceline's corporate office located in Connecticut; but found this to be a waste of time when I was redirected to the Philippines, to start the circus all over again. Yes, once again I found myself being passed from agent to agent and finally being hung up on.

To this day I still do not have a refund. It's important for me to mention that while I was at the Albuquerque Sunport rental car center, and told my story to the rental agent, he laughed and said that he hears this same exact story all the time from people who have made their reservation through Priceline. Priceline must not know the difference between airport abbreviations, such as, Albany New York is known as ALB and Albuquerque's airport is ABQ; or just maybe Priceline has a very good scam going on.

I booked a trip to Europe last Spring with Priceline, which also included a car rental. The trip took place on 10/14/2021. When I arrived to the airport I discovered that my trip from Albany NY to Newark NJ was not booked with United Airlines, as was stated in my Priceline ticket. According to Priceline I was to fly out at noon to arrive in Newark NJ and then late afternoon I was to fly to Munich, Germany.

Thankfully the United agent was very helpful. Priceline screwed up and I and had to be re-routed to Chicago and then on to Munich; it took several calls to Priceline and it was necessary for the agent to speak directly with Priceline for the booking code that is issued when an agency books with the airline. I sat in Albany airport from 10 am until 6 pm before I could get the flight to Chicago. Needless to say I did not arrive in Munich airport in a timely fashion to pick up my car so my car was given to someone else and I needed to wait for one to be returned and cleaned before I could finally be on my way.

I was staying for 2 months in Germany. A month into my trip my brother becomes septic and dies; he lived in NJ. I called Priceline and they were going to charge me $1100.00 to change my and my husband's ticket to fly home for the funeral. I couldn’t believe it, Their reason was that the airline was charging that fee to change my ticket. I called the airline and although they couldn’t do anything for me because I booked through Priceline, they did say that due to COVID they were not charging a fee to change a flight. So, Priceline lied to boot!

To make a long story short, trying to coordinate the changing of our tickets and needing to comply with the COVID testing the time was not in our favor and I would have arrived home on the evening of his burial day; in other words I would have been too late to attend the funeral anyway. I have been attempting to receive a refund from a cancelled travel package from Priceline for FOUR MONTHS!!!! I have sat on hold and been pushed from person to person. I have waited for return calls and emails that were to arrive in 3-5 business days. Here I am still waiting for my refund of 1031.98. I was told I could not receive a refund, so I asked my bank to dispute the charges. Priceline refused to cooperate with my bank. I was then told Priceline would not refund me the money as long as my bank was involved so I asked my bank to close the dispute.

Priceline called my bank to make sure I was not lying about receiving a refund and not lying about closing the dispute. My bank confirmed I had been credited the money and I had in fact closed the dispute. (April 10) I was supposed to receive an email within 24-48 hours. Nope. I called Monday the 7th and was told Priceline "can not do anything...call my financial institution." Every agent and every phone call is a different story. I am beyond frustrated. I am going on every review site possible to let people know what a horrible experience I have had with Priceline!!! Steer clear and be aware!!!

I booked 2 rooms for 3 nights in Rome Italy and when we checked in, the hotel did not offer air conditioning; instead, they suggested opening a window. This hotel is offered on Priceline as a 4 star, with climate control. I called Priceline for help in a relocation but instead, they asked me to call Agoda, their partner. Agoda refused to work with me as they did not book the hotel, so after 2 attempts for both priceline and Agoda, agoda determined they would not relocate the rooms at another hotel. And here we are spending 3 nights. Will never book with Priceline again.

I will not use Priceline again. I scheduled a trip back in February 2022, the flight was changed to a date that would not work for me. I made the cancellation within the appropriate time period and allegedly a refund was processed and issued back to me by the end of February 2022. Here we are mid April 2022 and I've yet to receive my refund. I've called multiple times and you have to go through several people to get to the airline refund people and still not any help. I've filed a dispute with my bank card and we are currently at the mercy of Priceline doing whatever research they have to do to resolve the issue. I'm currently very discouraged.

We tired & finally we cancelled our booking and took tickets at low price from another site.

I reserved my rental vehicle April 6, 2022 for April7-10, 2022. Paid $244.08 online. It stated it was non-refundable even if the vehicle is not picked up. I wasn't worried, because I was in DESPERATE need of the vehicle. I arrive a bit early for pick up. Have everything printed out, my ID in hand, ready to go. The rep of NATIONAL then informs me that since I went through Priceline that he would be putting a $400 deposit on my credit card.... (Excuse me?!) "Do what? I've already paid $244 online. On top of the insurance coverage I added to it as well." I said.

He again states that since I chose to go through Priceline, I would be charged a deposit of $400. NOWHERE in the paperwork did it state a $400 deposit would be needed, had it been CLEARLY STATED I would NOT have gone with THAT offer, because I KNEW I didn't have that on my card. And guess what???? The $244.08...NON-REFUNDABLE and THAT is why. They KNOW they are SCAMMING people out of their money. DO NOT USE PRICELINE!!!! Or NATIONAL for that matter. I'm disputing through my cc company for fraud, as ALL details were not made clear, which is in FACT FRAUD!

Upon review of the accounts against Priceline that have been posted, it is my belief these are common practices with this organization. I too, booked several flights last year due to my mother being ill and needing surgery. With Covid and her age, the surgery was pushed back rescheduled several times. With each occurrence regarding the booking of my flight and car, I literally cancelled within hours of booking. I was informed that the airline does not offer refunds, but I could contact the airline directly. After multiple attempts, I never was able to speak with an agent or received a call back. I have all documentation of when I booked with times of confirmations and times of cancellations.

Upon these reviews, it is my belief to contact the Attorney General regarding their unfair business practices. This is purely predatory. I am out with two airfares and car rentals over 2K$. I’m not an idiot, I would NOT have booked if I thought there was no chance of return of the funds, or possibility of credit due to these circumstances. In addition, I did purchase the travel insurance on both occasions, but there isn’t a qualified “claim” reason to appropriately fit this situation in order to file a claim. Again, would not have purchased the insurance if I had known. Both trips were booked within 24 hours due to the fact her surgical procedure was changed 3 different times during this time period. Please, please reach out and complain to the attorney general of your state, or the fed Attorney General for investigation of Priceline’s deceptive consumer fraud and false advertising practices.

I rented a car online with Priceline, they gave me a few options and I choose Economy Car Rentals located at 3356 Elmbank Rd, Mississauga, ON L4V 1A6. I choose to use my own car insurance and provided proof of such, they charged me $5.99 a day to do this a fact they did not mention to me at the time of booking. The car I received was Dirty and not Clean, when I asked for a clean car they said that was all they had at the time. I just got off a flight from Newfoundland, I was tired and in no mood to argue so I accepted the rental (Of course I took Pictures).

Now the big issue was when I returned the car, I had a 10 day rental on the vehicle, it was paid for up to the 4th of March 2022 at midnight, I assumed. I was asked around what time I would be returning the car, I said not sure but in the AM around 9 am or so. My flight was delayed by several hours so I never returned the car until 2 PM that same day March 4th. 2022. The agent at the desk said I was late and thus must be charged for a full day's rental at their rate not price lines rate. A total of $220 dollars extra.

Let's not forget I paid for the 4th of march in the accepted priceline agreement. But because I was a few hours late on a day I paid for already I was charged an extra $220 by Economy Car Rental, I said I do not agree with this charge and they said well you signed for it when you took the car. Nowhere was it written on the contract that if I was late on a paid day I would have to pay an extra $220 but I in fact got nailed with this fee. Called Priceline to inform them and my complaint was brushed under the rug, they did nothing for me nor did they even take my complaint as valid, they sided with the vendor and did nothing for their customer. I would never recommend or use this company again, ever. BUYER (RENTER) BEWARE... TRUE SCAM ARTISTS AT THEIR FINEST.

I purchased airline tickets through Priceline. We needed to make changes and eventually cancel our flights. We were entitled to a refund. Getting in touch with them on the phone was very difficult. There was a long wait, sometimes they called back, I got "disconnect" constantly, no one could solve my issues with cancelation. The worst part was when we had to change our destination, the Priceline agent mistakenly changed our cabin class from business to economy. Luckily, we caught it, but it was a nightmare trying to get them to fix their mistake. I had to contact a CEO via email to have him assist. Requesting a refund took countless hours and phone calls. Most agents were nice enough, but could not help. Some were too difficult to understand. I will never use Priceline again.

I explained that had the hotels been as advertised this would be understandable. It wasn't the case. Those is a law for a reason. Customer service with Priceline was horrible. I was trying to book a vacation (Hotel, Plane, and Car Rental) through Priceline. Did it about 5 times and each time it came up with "This Flight Has Been Sold Out". The last time a new message came up "Your Credit Card Has Been Declined." was Interesting! So I called the Credit Card Company and explain what had happened and they informed me I was charged for all those times. The total amount is $4,000.00 and more. So why did Priceline do this? Now I have to jump through several holes to get these charges drop.

Less than 12 hours ago I made a reservation with Priceline for a hotel. I will be visiting Barcelona for my first time and staying one night before leaving for a Mediterranean cruise the following day. I had the hotel, Grand Central Hotel Barcelona, at the top of my list so went to book. During booking I saw an advertisement for the Priceline Deal which advertises 3 hotels of the same quality and same area for about $100 less than the price I was about to spend on the Grand Central Hotel Barcelona. Using this is essentially a gamble - you could get what you want or not, but nonetheless, you stay in a nice hotel in the same area and save some money so I didn't care... as I don't plan to spend much time at the hotel anyways. A few hours later I was doing more planning and realized the hotel was nowhere near the area of the hotel of choice - over an hour walk from the hub of Barcelona and the hotel that was my first choice.

I messaged back and forth with Priceline which was also an awful experience. It's clear the agents are working with several individuals at once, as it took them over 10 minutes to read and respond to messages. After wasting about 45 minutes messaging just to be told there was no cancellation or transfer allowed, I called to discuss with a customer service agent over the phone. Priceline is well known and you would think they would care about customer satisfaction and understood the issue at hand which was very clear and not okay. I let them know I was happy to rebook right away with them with a credit and just get the original hotel but they said there are no exceptions. WOW! Mindblown by the lack of understanding and poor customer service and support.

In addition to this, I did some research on the hotel which they said I saved 21% on, however I checked on the official hotel website and other websites and found it for over $40 less on the same date! Priceline Deals is surely a scam and I hope no one else makes the same mistake of using it. I am disputing with my bank and will not be using Priceline again.

I booked a hotel into a small town, Holtville, CA. I did that back in February, completely paid for 3 nights. When I arrived in late March, at 10:30pm, I was greeted at the parking lot by Homeland Security telling that the hotel had been taken over by the state of California for immigrant Covid quarantine. Basically, the hotel was closed to travelers. I called Priceline and explained my situation. Not only would they NOT issue a refund, they would NOT relocate me, either! Their script was always the same; can't do anything without verifying with the hotel. My frustration kept mounting because they refused to accept that the hotel was CLOSED and that there was NOBODY staffing the lobby!

I ended up finding another hotel some 10 miles away that was a crappy little place, but with Priceline refusing to refund or relocate, there wasn't much I could do. After a week of being told that they will not do anything to rectify a situation that I HAD NOT created, I finally got my credit card company involved in disputing the payment. One call to the corporate office verified that the hotel in question was indeed closed. Apparently, Priceline could not be bothered to make such a simple research call. Going forward, I will be trying one of the other travel sites, even though I've used Priceline for many years. Priceline really let me down, and at a time where I was in a different state, and in the middle of the night. Book with them at your peril. They do NOT have your back.

I bought 2 airline tickets through them to go to my son's boot camp graduation. I chose the upgrade option for refundable tickets, which cost more. My trip got canceled. When I called them to get a refund, they informed me my tickets aren't actually refundable. They blamed it on the airline, stating the airline does not offer refundable tickets. So I asked them why they offered me an upgrade to refundable, which cost me an extra $100 per ticket, if the tickets really weren't refundable. They said they can't answer that question. So now I'm out $1,200. For this same trip I also did a rental car. Which they currently still will not let me cancel. I called the rental car company to cancel and was told I have to cancel through Priceline since that's who I did the reservation through. They have yet to cancel it.

Clearly this is their Cancellations and Changes Policy. Your Reservation Hotel cancellation policies vary. Certain reservations are non-cancellable and non-changeable. Others require you to pay a penalty if you cancel. Still others are fully refundable. Check the hotel cancellation policy when you book. I fall under the part about the first night penalty. At first they were willing to only charge me for the first night but then started with a run around stating that the had to contact the hotel and verify my claims, before cancelling my booking.

Priceline was informed that the hotel referred me to them. When making contact, the original hotel did not answer Priceline's call; Thus, I was here with this text message: Since you checked in it is no longer refundable on our system. Your issue can be addressed by speaking to one of our phone agents. I have documented your concern. Calling so far has done absolutely no good and to make matters worse I can no longer see my itinerary through Priceline and I and currently paying for two hotels, because the first one was filthy and facilities did not work properly.
