I inadvertently submitted a hotel reservation that was 27 days away. I realized I inadvertently submitted when I saw a email notice of the rear confirmation. I immediately (within a minute) of submitting canceled. I also called Priceline immediately and spoke to a representative about the mistake and error in the booking and was assured a full refund would be provided.
Instead, Priceline refunded me 50% of the reservation charge and refuses to give me a full refund and stands behind a general refund policy even though my reservation was submitted in error and was within 1 minute in duration and 27 days from the reservation date. Multiple times. I am expecting a FULL credit not 50% credit back to my credit card account. I spoke with an Agoda representative the day of the booking error which assured me a full refund would be applied. As mentioned, I called within 2 minutes of receiving the booking email and communicated the booking and charges were in error and incorrect. This is unreasonable and unfair manner to address a consumer error that was raised timely. BEWARE of the company you're dealing with. Poor customer service.

First you can't check in until late afternoon. Then they take 150$ and better for a deposit. Bad customer service. Reason why Priceline is used is to save money. Why did the room and deposit turn into 300$+ in which I didn't have. So in turn I spent the night on the streets until my flight the next day. No refund, no help. They stole my money and left me for dead.

I purchased a weekend getaway to a 4 star NYC hotel with my daughter. The hotel was dirty, filthy bedding, large burns in the carpet, damaged furniture, smelled awful and unsafe. Priceline refused to help. I even provided photos. We spent several hours attempting to have Priceline change our hotel, which they refused to do. I would love to share the photos. Do not used Priceline. The so-called 4 star hotel is not more than a 2 star. They definitely misclassified this hotel. I was unable to read the reviews until after the purchase was made. When I did, there were so many complaints about the condition of the rooms. So Priceline is well aware.

Please read and understand you will not receive any help and assistance from Priceline when you need it the most and they will even make matter worse for you for their benefit. The review is directed to Priceline management. We brought tickets for overseas vacations in October from Priceline, the travel date is 1/4/23 and return 1/28, coordinates with my husband military leave. On 12/23 we found out ourselves from United App, our return flight was cancelled. We didn’t receive any notification from Priceline. We called Priceline CS 4 times and spent the next 12 hours on the phone, none of your agent was able to help us rebook a flight, they lied to us with different stories.
First agent said our reservation is good to go and all flights were confirmed until I pointed out to her our cancellation. Then she put us on hold, came back with a different tone and told us that, no more flights for January from Morocco to San Francisco. Even when I had told her that I was looking at other flights on your website; I was told by her that “they are probably will be cancelled as well”, she said that she had no access to those flights. The call was at around 3am on 12/23. So we asked for a supervisor.
2nd agent was supposed to be a supervisor. She definitely was trained better than the 1st agent in manner but I knew she lied to us just to get us off the phone. After a lengthy discussion, she told us that there were flights available which we already knew, but she was unable to reschedule our flight, because she couldn’t change it in her computer and it is the company policy that she has to discuss with United. since she couldn’t reach them by phone, she has to email United Airlines, it will take 10 business days to receive the response. (So it will be 1/6/23 by the 10th business.)
Therefore we should fly to Morocco first; then someone will contact us if we will get a rescheduled return flight according to airline decision. Do you think this is our first trip overseas or we are born yesterday! No matter what we asked your supervisor wouldn’t guarantee we will be rescheduled; worst of all she said “or you might just pay for the difference“. You really think we will go overseas; then wait for you to name your price to bring us home!
So We had contacted United Airlines, we had waited 3 hours on the line and had their reservations department manager on the phone, she confirmed the information we received from Priceline was fault, since our tickets were booked through a travel agency, the agency has absolutely ability to reschedule a flight. Actually she was able to override the booking code on United system, due to travel agency booking. Also about the 10 business days, they don’t communicate with your company such way. She was willing to talk to Priceline agent for solutions since United Airlines was unable to change our flight due to the special pricing under travel agency. We spent another 30 minutes wait time, contacted the 3rd Priceline agent with United manager on the phone, (by the way this was 12/23, the busiest travel day, we waited 3 hours to get through United Air and they were willing to wait for 30 minutes for us to reach your agent).
The 3rd agent, he refused to talk to United, claimed it was Priceline policy that they are not allowed to have 3 way call with airline, he said that he had to contact United himself but couldn’t get through. The United manager even told him to give her his phone number, so She could call him right away directly to resolve the issue. Your agent kept saying it is the company policy he can’t talk to Airline. He put us on hold, I think he went to read the note on our ticket, because when he returned, he repeated the same thing that last Agent said, we have to wait 10 business days. Even United Airlines customer service was very surprised by your agent’s response and attitude. We told her about the email, she will look into it, and see where Priceline had sent it.
The 4th time we called, we asked for cancellation if Priceline can’t confirm a return flight prior to our departure. Due to my husband job in the Army, we must submit our overseas trip itinerary. Your agent just hung up on us. If your company truly believed in surveys will help you improve customer service, please ask yourself how lies, made up excuses and pushing customers, and hope your customer will just fell for it; then they can fight for themselves when overseas for the return flight or pay arms and legs extra for the return flight.
By the way, Priceline keep sending me the confirmation of my full Itinerary (including the cancelled flight) up til yesterday 12/31, telling me we are ready to go. Today 1/2/23, 2 days prior to our original departure, someone called and left a message said they just received cancellation from the Airline and want us to call back Priceline CS to result the issue. Now what happened to the email your agent sent to United on 12/23, according to her, the next agent call us should be confirming our rescheduled return flight! not telling us our flight has been canceled! That’s how you lose trust in the business world. The change has to come from the top of your company. Your staffs dare to lied to customers, make up excuses to avoid provide crucial customer service, must have a strong support system behind them. It has become your culture sadly.

I booked a hotel stay through Priceline and added insurance because of husband's condition. Canceled 24hrs before my initial stay with the hotel &when I called front desk receptionist she stated I should contact 3rd party. Didn't cancel my reservation. Called Priceline customer rep. He stated he will affectation the problem, as he called hotel. Came back on the line after 24min and told me cancelation will incur a charge because hotel policy permits it. I explained that I followed protocol and it was not on same day it was 24hrs before actual booking. Representative stated I should call Allianz insurance and I'd definitely receive full refund.
Representative from Allianz Ins. Stated I needed doctors' reports, canceled reservation, trip itinerary. Once received I'd only receive a percentage of total funds. I reiterated what price line Rep. Stated about total refund and was told it was untruth. Even when you provide all pertinent documents I won't get full refund.. I called back the hotel, spoke to General manager Mr ** whom stated priceline knows of their hotel policy about 1st day cancelation and how it automatically incur deductible. I stated, "I canceled within the time frame but your front desk receptionist didn't bother to cancel me nor express policy sanctioned between hotels& priceline." He apologized and said there is nothing he can do. That priceline knows this. Then I asked the GM **to cancel my reservation.
I reached back out priceline and was told I never canceled reservation and that I would only receive small portion of my booking fee. I reiterated what was told to me by previous Representative from priceline and was placed on very long hold for 29min 3 times. Once returned she stated she canceled my trip but I will only receive 310.00 from a 556.80 hotel stay I never took and that there was nothing else that could be done. I spoke about the insurance being capped onto my stay and its purpose. She replied. It didn't matter. I had to accept Priceline's False advertising, falsifying Information regarding resolution. Failing to initially cancel reservation. Withheld valid information regarding hotel policy. Knowing irregardless of following priceline 24hr & hotel 24 hr cancelation policy you will be charged. Knowing it didn't matter what time you contact the hotel they are going to charge 3rd party just for not getting the full amount.
Priceline takes it from you because they have to get a percentage. If they do this every day to people a little bit tallies up to a lot. Allianz didn't wish to relinquish 100 percent because they too get a percentage on top of what you pay to purchase coverage. I wouldn't deal with third party unless you're certain about the underlining facts regarding Cancelations, insurance and hotel factors that implement the 3rd party role with cancelations. Shame on you priceline.

I rented a car thru Priceline from 12/29 - 1/1/23. Their complete price came to $242.00 with a price guarantee. If I find a better rate they would match it. I found an exact car for same days and time. I forwarded Priceline snapshots and the URL as requested and they denied my claim and they would not cancel my booking and charged my credit card. I will have my credit card company cancel the transaction. Priceline is a thief and liar about their best price guarantee.

We booked a car rental with American Express. They charged my card but claimed it was declined. I told them on 3 different phone calls that the card was fine. After tying up my credit line and 1 hour of phone calls, they admitted they no longer take American Express. Probably because AE covers the car insurance and they lose out on that outrageous charge. Priceline is not a reliable site to book travel. Beware, they just do not help and never provide concrete answer to concerns!! I booked a hotel in Cancun, Mexico around Nov 2022, to travel during Christmas holidays with family, for 5 days and the person confirmed that room has kitchen and a balcony and that’s what I asked for and paid extra money for the room!
When I called the hotel on 11th Dec, they said this room is regular room and Priceline booked only regular room!!!! I called Priceline immediately and told them, they confirmed with hotel that this room does not have mentioned amenities!!! But my reservation has kitchen!! They said their team will work and 3-5 business days they will get back to me.. which no one did. I called them 4 times after that from 16th Dec onwards and every time they gave me 3-5 business days to resolve..
No one, including managers/support did anything.. ridiculous and worse experience for me. Luckily the hotel in Cancun, I checked in, was in nice location and we came back from them happy.. but Priceline did nothing to help get the amenities or refund me for the inconvenience. Shame on them to not keeping promise and jeopardize vacation for their customers. Please never book with Priceline and please recheck even you have already booking with them. This is my personal experience and I am never going to Priceline again.

I reached out to Priceline, and spoke with two customer service representatives, two supervisors and one online agent. I told them I had picture proof showing that the reservation showed free cancellation up to a certain date. They all said they could not help me, and that they would have to have a manager call me back. No callback was ever received from a manager. Do not book with Priceline!!!! Their site has false information and their customer service is not helpful in the least. If I could give zero stars, I would.

I kept calling and finally got tired of being hung up on. I called about my service animal to see if they would call the hotel and ask if he was allowed because they are the third party I am paying as well. They told me they could not do this. Then I asked to speak to a manager and the rep just put me on hold then came back on the phone saying he was the manager. He hung up on me when I asked questions about him being the supervisor.
I called back and asked to speak to the manager and was told no, that I’m going to have to call back and see if another rep will do that for you. They also don’t say hello when the call goes through so that If you don’t say hello they can hang up on you so they answer and remain quiet too. I’m amazed they are paid to do this to people and they all act like crazy people that are able to get away with murder. They clearly do not do quality assurance checks and if they do they don’t care and this is why they will not prosper as a business.

When I contacted Priceline, the representative provided no answers and ended the chat saying "you will be charged for a no-show". I was NOT a no-show. I cancelled my reservation ahead of time and should not have been charged anything. Priceline total for the cancelled reservation still shows $0.0. I booked a package with Priceline for a resort and air fair. Then I realized the flights I was given were going to a completely different area than where our resort is located. When I tried to call and get this fixed of course they said they couldn't do anything. My main concern is when I call customer service, the automated system told me, "Thank you Justin" and that there was a reservation under this name. But I did not make this reservation and do not have a Justin on my account. I tried getting this fixed but of course, they stated they could not help me and that maybe I should contact my bank (I clearly stated to them, they have not taken anything out of the bank at this time and my concern is the security of my PRICELINE account). I was told a manager would call me back within 2 hours, Of course, no one called back.
I called again a few days later and the recording then said, "Thank you Natasha" and that this person had a reservation with my account info, I again tried to explain this to the person on the phone. They kept transferring me to another person as I asked to speak with a manager. When they figured out what I was trying to explain they passed me through to 6 supposedly different MANAGERS. Each one of them stated they could not help me with this matter, and then when I asked for someone else who could they ALL told me they could not send me to anyone else because they were the LAST person available for me to speak with. I am still on the phone and still attempting to get this fixed.

Be advised, Priceline has started slipping in booking fees through their partner Travel India outlet who is now handling all airline bookings. All prices include an extra $50-100 extra dollars more than booking directly with any other company online, including booking directly with the airline. They deny it when you asked them about it, but check your credit card statement when they put the charge through and you will see 3 different charges, including one to the airline which was the actual ticket fee. And dare I forget to mention: NO PRICELINE MATCH GUARANTEE ANYMORE even after fighting with them for 3 days and sending them all the screenshots.

I selected 1 adult and 1 child in the filter but was told children are an extra fee. Nowhere on their website does it say that. When I ask questions the agents and managers knowingly gave the wrong information because it appears they don’t know the answers either. Not sure why they answer the phone at all. I went through Priceline to book a hotel in the summer of 2022. I had a wedding to attend and my money was kind of tight. As I sealed the deal over the phone with the representative there was no mention at all that when I arrived at this particular hotel there would be an additional cash deposit required. This would have not been such a big deal had I been informed on the call. Then I could have prepared appropriately. I was sure that everything was done and taken care of and all I had to do was show up and show my identity. I arrived at the hotel only to find that wasn’t the case. I did not have the extra cash to pay For the deposit so My kids and I wound up having to figure out another plan. We did not stay at the hotel and of course Priceline was not going to take responsibility for this.
I kept getting the runaround and was told they would investigate the situation and decide whether they thought I should be reimbursed. They never got back to me and never reimbursed my $800. They are very unprofessional and shady. After the fact I understood why that representative was so quick to try to rush me to book that hotel. I hate their company with a passion and usually I don’t say things like this but they are very non-compassionate and do not take responsibility for their lack of communication. This is such bad business. But it’s just business right? I’d advise anyone to not do business with them and if I had the power I’d shut it all down. But when my wife and I arrived from a 20-hour drive and flight, the hotel asked for a resort fee that was never mentioned anywhere in our contract. It was mentioned in the contract that the price included all fees and taxes. So I had to call Priceline customer service and talked with a nonexpert representative.
After explaining every single detail, she put me on hold for a long period of time and told me I had to pay whatever the hotel asked. So I had to ask to talk with her supervisor, again and again, being on hold for a long time. After waiting for a long time on hold the supervisor introduced herself as Katie. Have not used Priceline for a while to reserve hotels. This time, I break my rule, and nonetheless, it's disappointing. I booked a room that allows 4 people to stay. Three of us checked in, Priceline charged one more person upon checking in because we marked two on the reservation. The room for 4 people already is more expensive than a room with one bed, yet, when three of us checked in, the hotel charges more. It's an unethical hidden charge. The money goes to Priceline. It was nonrefundable, otherwise, we would definitely walk out, and choose other place. Will not book through Priceline anymore.

I booked a flight to LAX directly through an airline. I searched rental cars for LAX and Priceline had a good deal with Hertz. I booked it. They offered a substantial discount for pre-payment. I pre-paid. Turns out this was for Long Beach rather than LAX. I didn’t notice til I arrived at LAX Hertz Rental Desk. Hertz claimed they could not alter the reservation, but could rent me another car. Priceline will not give me a dollar back on the $155 rental. Hertz says they cannot due to Priceline taking the reservation and payment. I’m done with Priceline and maybe Hertz after this. Watch out! Priceline will trick you if they can!

I made reservations with Priceline a month before my travel date. On the day of my reservation I was told that the rental car company did not have any cars. My reservation was at 11:30pm, I was informed at the counter at 11:53pm. I called Priceline after 12am only to be told there was nothing they could do. I informed them that I was at the airport with a toddler and needed to teach my destination. The representative informed me that if I rebooked with another car rental company they would reimburse me the difference.
The specifics were that the car must be the same size and same dates. I informed the representative that the dates would not be the same since it is now early am. I even asked her would that be a problem. She stated, no since the initial reservation was late and now it is early am. I asked again just to be clear. The representative informed me again that there would be no problem. She stated that I would need to submit the final receipt to them once my reservation is complete. While still on the phone with Priceline’s rep, I reserved through Priceline the exact vehicle with another rental company. I asked the rep could she see my new reservation and if that was ok. The representative assured me that it would be ok.
After returning the vehicle and submitting the final receipt, I received an email stating the I was not eligible for reimbursement because the vehicle was a different size and gas was billed through rental car company. I called Priceline to inform them that I made reservations for an economy car but the company gave me what they had. My charges reflected the price of an economy rental car. I contacted AVIS and they reimbursed for the gas charges because I returned the vehicle on full. At that point, Priceline still refused to reimburse me $300. I asked them to listen to the recorded line and they refused. They keep telling me that since I picked up the vehicle at 2am instead of 11:30pm then I couldn’t get the refund.
Their customer service representative lied and they were not willing to hold their end of the bargain. Their practices are deceitful and dishonest. I’ve been a Priceline VIP member for years and never had a problem. That was the first issue and last time renting anything through Priceline. As a consumer, I will now record any and all conversations with companies. I trusted them to keep their word and they did not. My initial reservation was $300 and my final rental car was over $600. Had I known they would not be honest, I would have rented my vehicle directly from the rental car agency. I’m disappointed in Priceline’s tactics. Be warned and record for yourself.

Great deal. While processing my payment and Travel Insurance they sent a message the deal expired and offered another deal. The first two hotels in the "New Deal" were in the 1st deal. They then placed a third hotel in the Package. Due to pressure of losing the 1st deal, I clicked. I got the 3rd hotel and then realized they put in a Hotel nowhere near the area of Chicago I was seeking and was in the 1st deal. I call that fraud. Fair disclosure, and duplicate action warnings when using internet-based commerce are commonplace and recognized as standard when something is irreversible using internet-based commerce, yet it doesn't serve Priceline so they ignore this. The dollar amounts are small but their business model is to make small amounts on high-volume traffic and continue without any consequence for their actions because the individual cost is relatively small. Either way, this is a deceptively misleading buying experience and should be changed and until it does, BUYERS BEWARE OF PRICELINE. DO NOT USE THEM.

I had this booked for my Mom from 12/14/22-12/19/22. My mother was rushed to the hospital the night of the 12th. I was unaware at this time. (There were no 'in case of emergency, call... In her wallet'. Found out the night of the 14th. Called the hotel, they had it as a 'no show'. Explained what happened, the Clerk at the desk told me to 'call Priceline and explain what happened. They'll call me and I'll approve the refund'. They called and he did not approve the refund, they told me he had to have his supervisor approve it. I called on the 17th after finding the email declining my emergency and According to the clerk on the 17th, he thought priceline was going to call the supervisor to approve it but they didn't! They automatically denied the refund on the 15th and sent an email. I have been extremely busy with the hospital and Dr's to check for an email. Found the time tonight after midnight. That's where I found that priceline didn't lift a finger to help.
They denied it on the same day I spoke with the clerk, because it was after midnight at that point. No call to supervisor, supervisor wasn't supposed to call priceline according to priceline. They took the clerk saying his supervisor had to approve it as a denial. Do not trust these people!!!! Everything is non refundable, which is fine if you don't have a family emergency pop up and are 3,000 miles away!!!! Never again.
Called to speak with the clerk to ask why he didn't approve the refund as stated to me. He claimed it had to go through his supervisor. NOT what he told me on the 14th/into 15th when we spoke. Said his supervisor will call priceline to get this refunded. Priceline should have done the right thing and refunded the money. But this also falls on the clerk at Days in by Wyndham in Kingman, AZ. I'll be posting this there as well. I'm extremely saddened by the lack of human compassion. What if you lived 3,000 miles away and it was your mother? PRICELINE IS AN UNCOMPASSIONATE CORPORATION. They definitely have some cheap options but they never keep their promises and in the long run you don't get value for your dollar as I was booking for a reservation it was rejected halfway and they took The money out of my bank too. Upon asking about a refund I was told they reversed the transaction to my bank and my bank has the money now and I called my bank and they told me that Priceline hadn't reversed any transactions. Now I'm having a hard time booking my trip somewhere else because Priceline has my money and they're not ready to refund it. I am afraid this will end up costing me my trip and $1,600.
You might see cheaper trips on Priceline but it doesn't mean they're available. They tend to recirculate their inventory Even for the products they don't have anymore and then when you reserve that booking since that booking is not available anymore and it's a hoax you will have your money held and won't be able to use that money towards anything else.

The flight credit we had was $291. I was expecting to pay a difference of around $91, but was instead charged $171.50 by Priceline. They stated that this was the price the airline agent gave them when rebooking the ticket. This new price of $533 was not listed anywhere and I’m convinced since the agent could not tell me where this discrepancy is coming from that Priceline robbed me! The customer service was AWFUL. Our flight home from FLL to BFLO was delayed and we would not be able to catch a new flight until the morning, So while my husband was on the phone with the airlines, I was on my phone trying to find a place to stay and Priceline kept popping up so I looked at Priceline's availabilities, reviews and prices for hotels around the airport for that night we went ahead and booked The Link Hotel. Priceline's reviews on the place weren't too bad and we figured we'd only be there a night.
When We entered the hotel it smelled very moldy and musty. The chairs in the lobby were So bad the seat part was sunken in and almost hitting the floor. When we went to the counter there was a gentleman there in jogging pants, t-shirt and slippers taking care of one customer. Another gentleman came out from the back. With him came a cloud of ** smoke. The two men at the counter did not know what rooms were booked. I also overheard them saying that they did not know if there was any clean towels. The gentleman with the jogging pants had to escort us through The building (I'm sure it was for our safety) and was debating on whether or not to put us in the elevator. You can tell that he was very flustered. It seemed like he was trying to avoid us having to use the elevator, but because we had a ton of luggage from our cruise he figured it would be better for us to use.
Once we made it to a room the guy had to knock and see if the room was being used and look through the curtain gaps to see if anyone was in the room. It took him a few tries to find a room that was not in use. Then he had to go back downstairs to find a key but he was a very hesitant to leave us standing outside with all of our luggage. When the man did come back with the key to a room he had to do a walk-through the place before we were allowed to enter. When we walked through the door there was no pillowcases, no towels, no washcloths and the room was extremely dirty. Before I could turn to say anything to the guy he was gone.
I tried to contact Priceline via text because I did not want My child to hear my conversation to let them know that this was a very unsafe condition that I was being put in. We had people strung out on stuff trying to get into our room. I explain to Priceline that I had no pillowcases, no towels, no washcloths. The room was filthy and a very scared and their reply was, "Did you let the hotel know." How am I supposed to let a hotel know when there is no telephone in the room and the phone number on the website was not getting answered which Priceline was notified by me earlier in the day that this hotel was not picking up their phone when I was trying to get a hold of them to verify the room and amenities.
The customer service from Priceline could not get a hold of the hotel via phone so he emailed the hotel. It is pretty bad when I expressed The false advertising of this hotel, no towels, no pillow cases, the filth and how it was not very safe I was just left hanging. Definitely not a company I will ever do business with again. Maybe Priceline's executives should go check out these places for themselves or have their families go stay in these places before saying No refund. I'm sure if they had people trying to get into their room at 11:30, 1:38am and 2:06am when you have a child and have no way of contacting the front desk (due to them not answering) they would change the policy. After a night of no sleep we left at about 5am. I have stayed in some pretty shady rundown places but this one tops it! This place makes one of the worst stays I had in Buffalo, Rochester and Poughkeepsie New York look like the Ritz!

The fact that a Sheraton hotel has no heat, inadequate safes in room (batteries duct taped to the inside of the wall) which failed often. Elevators that also didn't work properly. The fact that only some rooms get microwaves, without even an option to pay for them.
Now let me address the so called airlines they support...SPIRIT, a 1 hr & 20 minute delay without notification until we hit the airport, totally exorbitant baggage fee structure ($59.00 for a carry-on one way!!!!) I have been a Priceline customer since its inception in 1997. I've traveled to 59 countries globally for over 35 years, so I understand the travel process and policies. I've had numerous issues from mis-rated "4-star" hotels that were, at best, 2-star, to car rentals that were sketchy, at best. Although it was inconvenient, I was able to address the issue with Priceline, and I receive a refund or the names were changed. I've had "non-smoking" rooms reserved by Priceline, that ended up being "smoke-filled." One of their "4-star" hotels close to the Atlanta airport was, at best, a "1-star" hotel. It should have a been given a "4-stab" rating because it was in a very dangerous area.
NOVEMBER/DECEMBER 2022: I recently purchased a vacation package to Vegas for my wife and me that included a rental car. When we got to the rental car desk, I realized the TSA agent inadvertently kept my driver's license when I checked in. As such, I couldn't rent a car at the airport. The representative at Avis asked us to call Priceline and let them know they were fine with changing the name into my wife's name. I made the call, spent 30 minutes on hold, and was told they could not do it because of their policy where they will never change a name. I then gave them three examples where they did change the name on hotel reservations for me, so they then changed to say they never change names on rental cars. Apparently their policy changed as I listed the times they changed the name for me.
Priceline could have changed the name, but chose not to. As such, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND NOT USING PRICELINE FOR ANY REASON! I have one more trip I've already booked with Priceline and then I'm canceling my account. I will book directly at the rental car agencies and get their best rate, as well as at the hotels or I'll use a different travel site. Avis would have worked with me, but customer service manager, Louie D., and Priceline would not. Priceline no longer offers a better value than can be found on any other travel website. I don't even know how to accurately convey how frustrated and infuriated my experience with Priceline left me... I booked a vacation package through them late this summer for a trip in November and the whole appeal was that since we booked it as a vacation package, it would be cheaper and our flight and accommodations would be lumped together. 3 days before our trip, I find out that our flights were only taking us to West Palm Beach and not the Bahamas, which is where our accommodations were. I called customer support to ask how we were supposed to get there and the lady I spoke with informs me that even though we booked it all together as a package, our flight would not be taking us to the Bahamas.
I asked her how it was possible that we booked it together but somehow it wasn't taking us to our destination and she said she didn't know and said she could send me a copy of my receipt. I asked if there was a way to add a connecting flight and she informs me that the flights and trip as a whole are non refundable and non transferable and that my only option was to purchase a separate booking from West Palm to the Bahamas or purchase a whole new vacation package. I kept asking how it's possible and logical that someone would book a trip where the flight doesn't take them to their destination but she couldn't seem to give me an answer.
Unfortunately, we ended up having to pay $2,500 for new tickets (just for 2 people!) to make our trip. The total cost was ridiculous and all because of a bug or fault in their algorithm which should not allow for what happened to us to be an option. This was theft and I'm sure priceline is aware of the situation but since it's making them money, it's not convenient for them to fix the issue. The kicker? On our trip we met several people who had the exact same thing happen to them and they all booked through Priceline. Do yourself a favor and avoid them at all cost!

I’m at a few days from my departure and Priceline decided that they cannot honor their contract and opted to refund me the cost of the flight. Isn’t a messed-up situation? I’m left stranded and need to purchase a new ticket which has doubled in price for the same destination. I strongly recommend that you book your flight either directly with the airline company or through a reliable and reputable online booking platform. Stay far away from Priceline or go with it at your own risk.

I am, or should I say, was, a VIP member on Priceline. Within one month I had five different hotel stays. During a family emergency, I booked a room while traveling. Because I gave them a different email address, but note that the credit card, my phone number, all of the billing information was still the same, they refused to give me credit for it. There were two additional evenings stayed at a hotel during that event. This would have put me at a higher percentage of discount, they refused to help in any way. The customer service representative kept repeating the fact that the email addresses must be the same. I countered and indicated that many people have more than one email address, but the credit card and phone number associated were identical. Out of frustration, I gave up. It was a nonsensical, circuitous conversation that went nowhere, nor was I given an opportunity to speak with a supervisor to rectify the situation.

It felt extremely unsafe and unclean. These low quality hotels are surviving due to Priceline’s Express deals that do not reveal the hotel name before you make the booking. I recently wanted to surprise my wife who booked a flight to the Philippines. I got all her flight information and called Priceline to upgrade her flight to business class. I was told that there would be a $350.00 fee on top of the fare difference, which I agreed to. After 15 minutes, the agent came back with a price of $2,600.00 plus the $350.00 fee. I said go ahead and I am ready to give her my credit card number. She placed me on hold for more than 30-minutes and when she finally came back, she apologized because they had no more seats at that price.
I initially called Korean Airlines, which is the airline my wife is flying on to find out if the business class has available seats. They said yes, which is when I called Priceline since that is where she purchased her tickets. When the Priceline agent came back, I was told the only seat I can now get will cost $16,000.00 to upgrade. My jaw dropped and I asked how the price can change within the time I was on hold. I am a VIP Gold member of Priceline but will be pulling all my travel purchases from them from now on. They have just lost a loyal customer and they were not able to give me a good explanation of how the price jumped 6-fold within a span of 30-minutes.

I purchased two flights and a rental in June of 2022 for a trip to Hawaii the very next month. Unfortunately, my mother passed two days before our fly out date. We cancelled and received a travel credit per flight. We did not receive a refund on the rental car. We had one year from the original purchase date to reschedule. Fast forward to November when we call to reschedule. We planned everything out using the Priceline site and called as the email instructed. The representative could not find anything close to what we paid for our original tickets. ALL prices were over what we paid. The flight dates and details we found and provided to him was over by $1000 per ticket causing a difference in the credit/ticket price. We were aware that there might be a difference of about $300. The cheapest difference we got to was a little over $300 and we were losing days!
In a time of need, Priceline did their part in cancelling but could not even provide the services we originally purchased. The supervisor was very unhelpful and did not answer any of my questions! She stated the rules of the cancellation and airline policy, which I already read. Supervisors are supposed to at minimum help the company's image, but this one sat in silence and could not even answer questions. We are going to change our destination to use our credit, delete our accounts, and find our vacation deals elsewhere! I strongly encourage everyone to reconsider when using their services! You do not expect to have to cancel flights, but when you do, this company cares nothing about the customer!

Priceline gave me a credit to use only through Priceline not American Airlines and when I tried to purchase another flight it wouldn’t allow me to use the credit through the app, I talked to two different people on the chat on the app who were asking me for the same information multiple times and they didn’t need any of the information, all I needed to know was how to use the credit because the app only allows you to purchase with a card again. After wasting time on the chat taking me in a circle I was finally given a number to call to be able to use the credit.
In my experience on the phone I had a woman tell me with a strong Asian accent that made it hard to understand all the different flight information and when I choose one it turns out Priceline does not allow you to purchase trip protection again even though the previous trip protection I purchased on the canceled flight will not cover this different flight. Priceline tries to grind you down by putting you on extremely long hold times and they pass you around between their associates. I started doing some checking online. We booked on Priceline.com, six nights at the 1908 Lisboa Hotel in Lisbon, Portugal. We arranged travel from USA via Greece. We paid a premium for a reservation that permitted cancelation up until the day before arrival, $1,633 in total. On the day of travel I became very ill and tested positive for Covid-19. We contacted the Hotel upon testing positive for COVID-19. We were told the terms of cancellation expired at midnight the night before, six hours before we knew about the Covid positive test. This date was three months after we paid in full for our cancelation-advantaged reservation. We expected a refund for two reasons. We could not travel being Covid + and risk spreading the infection. And secondly, we knew we paid a premium for a cancellation policy.
The Hotel refused to budge on their terms and conditions for cancellation. We were marked as a no show when they knew that had we ‘shown up’ it would have been with Covid. We contacted Agoda, the customer service agents for Priceline. What followed was essentially their endorsement of this fact; If you have covid and do not want to have your booking cancelled as a no show – then you need to travel with Covid.
Subsequent correspondence with AGODA never varied from this position. If you have Covid and you want to use your Priceline Booking, then you should travel to the Hotel with Covid or you will be a ‘No Show’ and lose 100% of your booking, even if you did pay a premium for a cancelation option. We have not received any of the $1,600+ for the booking we made that included a cancellation policy. Our impression of AGODA Customer service and their functional incompetence could not be worse. We will not be customers of Priceline and AGODA in the future, nor will our friends and family. Or anyone who reads our reviews on Trip Advisor.

They told us and several customers Priceline does this all the time. They stated they do not check inventory they just always have a booking available to allow you to book then if you get there and they have a car you get it, if not you don’t. So now $760 later I’m stranded in the middle of a tiny town with no rental cars or hotels for at least an hour and needed to get 3 hours away.
I couldn’t get an Uber because no one wants to drive someone 3 hours so I ended up having to beg an Uber and tip him $200 on top of the $150-200 trip to take me so I wasn’t stranded so now $1160 later to get to my destination because of Priceline. Just one week after, the gearbox stopped shifting so it left us stranded in the middle of the Highway. We had to pay for an Uber to reach to our Hotel in San Francisco. After 3 days ACE Rental told us they couldn’t repair the car so we had to manage our way back to Los Angeles, as they didn’t have any office in San Francisco.
After two months complaining we just received a minor reimbursement, not to speak about the $100 Uber ticket. Priceline has never given us detail of the reimbursement. Recently some of my family moved to MI. I booked a hotel through "Priceline", unfortunately, somehow, whether me, or digitally, the booking was for the wrong city. After driving from FL to MI, and being exhausted when we arrived to their house, eventually wanting to go to our hotel, I google mapped it, and lo and behold it was the wrong city, it was actually almost 2 hours away. So I tried to cancel the booking online and couldn't. I tried calling the hotel with no answer, calling no less than 15 times, with phone ringing until it hung up on me. I contacted the same hotel chain in the city where we were, and tried to get them to either cancel the reservation or move it to where we were, but they couldn't, and said that I needed to contact the other hotel.
So again I try to call several times, no one answers. Frustrated and tired at this point, I just book the hotel where we were and send an email to the other hotel. They tell me, I would have to contact Priceline to get a refund, because I booked thru a third party. Priceline, tells me, the reservation I had shows no refunds, but on the paperwork I have it says: Cancelation policy says "FULL REFUND", unless you cancel day of then it's a 56% penalty.
I reached out to Priceline 2 times, 1st time, they said they would get back to me, well, that never happened, so I contacted them again today, and they said they could do nothing for me. I was willing, to take the hit, a partial refund is better than no refund. After all, this was not a "free" trip for me. I took off work, paid for a hotel (Over $250), plus gas to get there, time off of work, and I do not get paid time off. And no one is willing to even give a partial refund. That BITES! Almost every agent pawning off to a different department, while not properly listening. The sales team seems to not have the above issues, only customer service and managers and seems all female agents except 1.
Please, Priceline, re train your employees if not review more calls and fix the policies that created the no resolution issues. A customer, especially a repeat customer should never be told: I can't and I don't know, it blind transfered, and it be left without a room due to countless agents. Two hours, no resolution, forced me to book direct with hotel not priceline.com.
Being a seasoned customer service agent myself for some very large companies in my past my expectations are not unreasonable or unfounded for a agent created error. Errors happen but your lack and complete inability to resolve is not ok. More than 8 agents or so involved. Keep in mind, you have an internal issue. Refund is only part of a solution but if that person only had those funds and your taking days to refund that adds insult to injury. Demanding your customer pay a higher price and not honoring the original price guaranteed due to your error is not ok.
Recap: listening skills and one call resolution, complete resolution not partial is a must.

Hello, I believe that is my moral duty to let you know my experience with Priceline. I made an express car rental booking with Priceline. Two days prior my trip I phoned and asked to please change the pick up location and offered to pay extra money if necessary. I spoke with 4 different representatives and one more manager. Their questions were very intrusive about my reasoning of changing which made me very uncomfortable. All 5 crew members told me that nobody can help me. As it was an express booking I am losing almost $300.
Their attitude was cold and rigid, Customer accommodation and customer satisfaction wasn't met, the only thing they keep saying was: "this is the policy, I cannot help you.". Again, I never asked for a refund, I only asked to change the pick up and drop off location and offer to pay extra if necessary. This is the only travel company that I experience that showed no willingness of accommodating on the reason that is "express booking". I feel that I was taken advantage. The way representatives spoke came across entitled and above everything and everyone especially when they kept repeating: nobody can help you, I am the last person to talk to", I regret very much booking anything with Priceline and I will never do it again. Thank you for reading.

I booked a Hotel and Car rental from Priceline. I booked the wrong dates for both. I was told that I could not change nor cancel the trip as it stated in the agreement. I never saw that. Yes, it is my fault for booking wrong. I didn't realize at the time that I had done that. So this is what I did, I booked the hotel and car rental the same day to pick it up and check into the hotel, Nov 6th I did the same thing for drop off a checkout on Nov 11th. I live 1900 miles away traveling from Wisconsin to New Mexico. So therefore I'm unable to do that on those dates. I cannot check-in/checkout the same day that I get the rental car and return it.
REASON FOR MY TRIP; To pick up a Service Dog and to visit with my Family. I have METASTASIZE MELANOMA BRAIN CANCER. I was given a year to live. It's hard to travel as it is but since they will not help me in this situation, I'm unable to go. I'm on a fixed income already. Literally the worst company I've ever interacted with. Booked a car at the SFO Airport. Get there and the company they set me up with is not at SFO - it's at a location a half hour away via shuttle. Annoying but I tried to let it go. Get to the shuttle location. They are running a 5 person shuttle once every half hour with a line of 20+ people. Awful but we wait it out. Finally get to the sketchy location after the driver spent the entire drive on Instagram to a huge line with one customer service rep. Get through that hurdle to find they literally don't even have a shuttle to get us back at the time we need to return the car. Called Priceline with this info and they were unwilling to help in any way. No refunds or help. Absolute joke of a 'company'.. We left their vendor after another hour wait for the shuttle to book with a location actually at the airport Priceline had claimed we were booking with to begin with.

I tried booking a flight through priceline.com, roundtrip from Kansas City to Jamaica for Jan 2023. I selected a flight to Jamaica through American Airlines and returning flight through Spirit Airlines... Priceline said it had a payment issue with the card I was trying to use... and then I received an email from Priceline that said the trip I was trying to book had been canceled. So I assumed I needed to call my credit card company to figure out what issues were causing this (that was 2 nights ago)... I had a voicemail yesterday from someone I had difficulty understanding that said something about the Spirit Airlines Flight and to call the number back...
I got an email from Spirit Airlines saying my flight was booked for a one-way flight from Jamaica to Kansas City on Jan 30th, 2023. SO CONFUSED. I called the number back and wanted to find out if it was actually booked. They looked up the confirmation number and said it was booked. I asked them if they worked for Spirit Airlines or Priceline and they said Priceline... so I asked them to look up the AA flight going to Jamaica and they said that was denied and voided. So I asked why in the heck only part of it was booked... They had no idea and transferred me to Spirit Airlines Customer service (because they said they could no longer help me with this... I had asked them to please just cancel that one way trip back from Jamaica with Spirit because it was annoying that I was told by Priceline that my trip was cancelled but actually, behind the scenes, the one-way flight back with Spirit was booked...
I had asked her why they would let that happen and she didn't know, nor could help...so she just said she could transfer me to Spirit Airlines customer service to deal with it)... After being transferred and going through the automated options with Spirit.. it said it was going to transfer me to a representative of Spirit... I was on a silent hold for about 10 minutes until it hung up on me... I called again and went through the same thing... after 10 minutes of silent hold... hung up on... So then I went to their website, where it said "24/7 live chat support!"...
So I started a chat... and after the automated questions, it said it was connecting me to a representative... and then it said my message was in the queue and that I was in line from the order my message it was received... telling me I had a 1 hour and 5 minute wait... SO, I waited forever...and finally had the chat convo emailed to me from the chat settings so I could see the time stamp... and it had been well over an hour and a half since they had told me that.. freaking BS. I want to cancel this stupid one-way flight that was somehow booked and never want anything to do with Spirit Airlines again!!!!! How are they in business?!!! And! Why did priceline let only half of my "Roundtrip" flight booking with them be booked behind the scenes and then not be able to help me?! I received several messages from priceline saying card was denied. I went into hotel lobby to check, they confirmed my card was denied. I showed the hotel that priceline did in fact charge my card. They said "Oh it’s says pending and will fall off". I called card company and was told the same. I tried to call priceline from lobby of hotel BUT because my drip was denied by card, they wouldn’t put me through to a live agent. I was also denied an agent by the texting system. I kept all texts and phone records.
It is day 5, and I set aside time every morning to check in with priceline and the hotel. Priceline said yesterday they are waiting for hotel to respond to an email. Of course the hotel said they received no email from priceline, and will respond right away. Hotel apologized for priceline. They know it was Priceline’s fault I could not check into room. First rep I contacted on day one and day two at priceline told me “no refund not refundable”. I had to keep escalating and sending in ALL documentation. I agreed to not refundable room because I was AT hotel, so knew I would not need to refund it. Well so I thought. Priceline, people are watching their money, instead of scamming to keep money from could be future customers, why not help travelers.
ALSO most hotels offer full refunds on trips that need to be canceled. Why pay Priceline’s small discount and take the chance? Especially since it you do have an issue, there is little help. They hope customers with issues will tire of asking for the refund owed to them, and stop or just let priceline keep it. Not a chance priceline, I will drag scam companies into small claims court. Priceline doesn’t want to offer customer service, and if booking can’t be honored due to a fault with priceline for any reason, you will need to be prepared for weeks of long battle. I suppose they prefer to pay people to stall refunds, over just paying what’s due to customer. After this is all said and done priceline is losing money on paying customer service for a week of stalling clients. While I do respect the “no refund” policy, I wouldn’t ask if it was indeed my fault. However, when it is fault of the hotel or priceline then a refund should be made immediately.

I scheduled a complete package through Price line. The first flight was delayed which would cause us to miss connecting flight. We quickly reached out to priceline and were told to take it up with airlines which we did. So we had to pay $250 more to Jet Blue to make the change to the next flight out which also forced us to move rental car from 11pm pickup to 10 am the next day. We contacted Thrifty rental to let them know. They said it would now be over $300 more because “prices changed”.
We took it up with Priceline manager who put me on hold to “fix it” she assured me the contracted price would be honored and all the notes were in the system (Thrifty car rental). We show up and that was all a lie. The car rental company would not honor priceline's contract. We called Priceline that sent us the contract and said “take it up with the rental car company”. No help no support at all. Totally worthless company. If anything working through them actually puts you at a disadvantage when there is a problem. I book a roundtrip flight ticket through Priceline for $284. They book me on Spirit Airlines departing and Frontier Airlines coming back. I paid for baggage fees through Spirit which charged me $138 for baggage fees, which from what I'm told was supposed to have covered round trip. Well, coming back I'm receiving emails from Frontier stating to pay for more baggage fees and charged me an additional $207. What!! If I wanted to spend over $600 for a flight ticket then I would have book with a better quality airlines and save some money!
I was charged twice for baggage when I paid on the first day I arrived. I will never book through Priceline like that ever again. They are a bunch of greedy corporations that don't give a damn about their customers' satisfaction. I did not get a deal at all, in fact I spent way more money trying to be cheap when I could have book with Delta or American Airlines, some better quality airlines than going through Priceline.

Had to include a rating to get this posted, but the company deserves NO RATING- that's how bad it was! The Priceline site states IN WRITING "Book a flight with free cancellation within 24 hours after booking". Calvin, the representative that I made the phone reservation with on Oct 3, 2022, also assured of the cancellation policy, which I did- approximately 3 hours after I originally booked the flight. When I didn't receive a cancellation confirmation, I tried contacting Calvin. I also called the Priceline main # and talked to Odell, who told me I couldn't receive a refund. After arguing with him, I insisted on speaking with a supervisor. After being placed on hold for a while, Odell said I would receive a refund.
BUT- on Oct 4, I heard from Arron, a supervisor, who told me I was not entitled to a refund. After insisting that he was incorrect regarding the Priceline written policy for refunds, he wanted me to send him a screen shot of the policy as proof of my claim. That's when I lost my patience, stated I'd call my state's Attorney General and the Better Business Bureau. By Oct 6, Calvin responded to my e-mail sent previously, unwilling to do more than say that my complaint was under investigation. Arron called to say that he was working on our complaint- but would we consider continuing with our original booking? By this time, I'd file a complaint with my credit card company.
It took from 10/3 to 10/13/22 before I received notification that my payment would be fully refunded. Arron worked to resolve the issue, for which I am appreciative of his efforts. But why did I have to go through this in the first place, and spend time and energy insisting that Priceline and its employees honor its written policy? How many people don't insist on their cancellation rights and succumb to the bullying of Priceline's employees?

We called Priceline and they informed us that they would be unable to change the reservation dates and we would need to cancel the reservation. We explained that the money used for the original reservation would be the only money we had for this trip and we would need an immediate refund to rebook the hotel. They assured us on a recorded line that it would be processed in 1-2 days.
Now, two full days later, the money still isn’t in my account and my family with three young children and myself being 36 weeks pregnant are forced to sleep in a vehicle now in downtown San Diego for $342 thanks to Priceline. We spoke with several customer service agents to explain our situation and request some sort of assistance. They are unwilling to transfer us to their supervisor and also refused to provide us with a voicemail or email. For such a large company, I imagine getting a room comp’d would not be a big issue. My bank is unable to release the funds due to them being a “pending” charge vs a processed charge. We will never use Priceline again and would never recommend using them to any private customers or commercial hotels.

I called Priceline to cancel my reservation 6 different times. I kept being told it would be taken care of, it would be escalated, that they needed an authorization from the Hotel to cancel. The hotel mind you, is probably floating in the Gulf of Mexico, but they insist on calling the hotel. When I noticed the website changed my dates I called customer service. They would not refund any money but I didn’t want a refund anyways, I just wanted the correct dates or another hotel if it couldn’t honor my dates needed. Priceline kept me on hold for 90 min and kept saying they were trying to help me. They didn’t help me and when I got frustrated with them after several agents they just cancelled my booking (after I said not to because I wouldn’t be refunded). They said they called the hotel 3 times but when I got off the phone with Priceline and called the hotel for help, the hotel said they had no other calls but me for the past hour.
My son booked a flight through them with travel insurance as he is a marine and needed the flexibility of date changes. When I arrived, at 12:15 AM, the hotel could not find my booking. There was no record of me, and all rooms were booked. I contacted Priceline. After a couple of disconnects, they informed me that their policy was to email the hotel and wait 30 minutes for a response before finding another plan of action. This was a waste of time, as I had just spent 45 minutes working with the night manager to find a solution. In fact, he never received their email. Priceline emailed me 40 minutes later to say they were cancelling my reservation and would pay the price difference if I found a more expensive room elsewhere. The trouble is, the nearest available room was 40 miles away.

Most rental cars should be open 24/7 at the airport, but some rental cars are not open late evening. My wife and I reserved a car, and we arrived around midnight, the rental car was closed, and we have to pay over $800 for only 2 nights with another rental car because we didn't have a reservation with them. Why in your cancellation policy dates, it says in order for me to get a FULL REFUND, I would have had to cancel before 2022-07-30 @ 11:59 pm? It also reads the following: "This booking is fully refundable if you cancel before 2022-07-30 11:59 pm. This booking is non refundable after 2022 08-20 12:00 am. This booking is non-refundable after 2022-10-12 12:00. If cancelled after 2022-07-31 12:00 am, 20 percent penalty will be charged."
Now if I purchased my hotel stay on September 20, 2022 which it also says on my receipt, how in the world can you make cancellation dates prior to the actual purchase. This is stealing and now I cannot get a person on the line and have to speak to. I am automatically placed on a call back because of the high volume. I ended up in a hotel with my small children, by the time I got there it was very late and I had to lay my own clothes for them to lay down on and sleep on because the hotel was garbage. They rated it as a 3 star but when I called the hotel they told me it was a 2 star, but I personally think it should have been rated as a 1 star. They also show that parking is free, but the hotel charged for parking and said I would have to connect with Priceline. I would rather pay for parking than ever contact Priceline ever again. Highly highly recommend going with any other company.

I went online to rent a motel in Hyde Park NY for $88.00. I clicked on it, reserved my room then receive condo in my email. One small problem the location wasn’t the same. I open a chat with a rep who tells me they can’t get ahold of the motel. I call, I get right through no problem but he tells me he can’t help me. It has to be done through Priceline. So I decide to call Priceline and tell them what happened. They tell me they can’t do anything without speaking to motel to cancel this. Well they can’t get through on several attempts not one or two. Several times no one answers??!! How is that possible when now I have gotten through twice!! Well needless to say I may or may not get my money back and I had reserve the right room by borrowing money from family because funds were tight. Never again will I deal with this company. They have no way to reconcile a problem with a customer.

I booked through Priceline and I’m considered a Blue VIP customer. It says If I find the hotel cheaper they will match the price or refund me the difference. I just spent over an hour and got nothing. I was told that the $50 I paid over the amount the rooms cost was a few for booking through Priceline. I recommend you call hotels before he try to book through them directly and them through Priceline. Compare prices before you book and it ends up costing you more than what the original price the hotel has, very disappointed they couldn’t even honor the under policy of refunding the difference.

I check in on Friday and while checking in I informed your front desk I have a service animal and he demanded that I show him proof of my service papers or I couldn't check in with my animal. Which I have the document to prove that but it's against the law for anyone to ask for it period and I told him that and he still made me do it. I have contacted a lawyer and the law enforcement about this matter. I can enforcement this matter if I choose to.
It's is wrong for y'all to enforced your rules but don't uphold the law. Well I think something should be done with matter. And then I go to have breakfast which it says all over the front desk free breakfast at 7am to 10am and it was 7:30 and no breakfast at all and your front desk lady was rude and lied and gave us a number to call about breakfast which isn't our place to do so and wouldn't even write the number down or give me a pen to write it down with too lazy to do her own job. I work the hotel business myself so I know the job and this place is far from doing its job. And at 830 still no breakfast. So I contact Priceline and all they said is, "All we can do for you is give you 15% off my next stay on express deals," which I don't use those stupid deals. They are trash. I'm a vip member and that's the best they can do. Well I work the hotel business. I will make sure everyone I am in contact with knows not to use them either

The website says you can cancel a ticket within 24 hours of purchase. 10 customer agents later and three phone calls and 2 hrs of interaction and still unable to cancel it. They get me off the phone and I receive a barrage of emails saying my flight which they claim to have cancelled is NOW confirmed!!! Customer service = Zero.

I've never dealt with a more dissatisfactory business in my entire life. I booked a hotel room with them days prior to my arrival. They confirmed my reservation, but upon arrival, the hotel had no record of my booking. Additionally, three other people were in the lobby and dealing with the same problem through Priceline. I contacted Priceline for a resolution but all they did was refund my reservation and tell me they couldn't be of further assistance. I advised them that I was not willing to just sleep in my vehicle.
They continually just placed me on hold and never returned. I had to contact them numerous times and finally got in contact with a supervisor, Joshua #**. Joshua was beyond unhelpful and provided no resolution or compensation. He wouldn't even respond to my questions most of the time and yielded no assistance whatsoever. I could not be more displeased with my interaction with Priceline and would never recommend anyone use them for your hotel booking needs.

I clicked on Holiday Inn Express Ashland thinking I was at the hotel's website. I was told by the hotel that the website I used was actually Priceline. I booked two rooms at $182 each and was charged $159.46 for tax, recovery charge and service fees. We stayed at Ashland, Oregon, a few days earlier at another hotel and although the price for the rooms was more ($235.00 per room), the taxes and other fees came to $27.03 per room. There was no reason for such a high charge through Priceline. Also, I never would have used Priceline to begin with as I had a very bad experience with their site several years ago. Regina **

I booked 2 nights through Priceline. After checking into the hotel, I noticed the trash cans outside of the rooms was overflowing. The hall smelled like a dumpster. Got to the room and it looked ok. My daughter got into bed and was bit several times. In less than an hour, I was packed up and checking out. Was refused a refund by the hotel. Called Priceline and spoke to Robert. I was told we should have stayed and called them first so they could call the hotel to negotiate. We told the hotel why we was leaving and the hotel told Priceline all they knew was we didn't want to stay. We were called liars by Priceline. They also refused the refund because we checked out of the hotel. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.

I have been using Priceline for years, but never again. If you book a Hotel, and you get terrible service, there's nothing Priceline will do. Everything is nonrefundable. It's not fair to the Customer. You're better off booking directly with the Hotel.

I booked a flight 3 months in advance, 2 months later plans fell through, not going need a flight, 1 month before, right? Priceline would not refund the $420 I paid, they get to make money off me AND resell the seat. No customer service rep would help, just deny the refund. Watch out for this service.

I made a simple car reservation to drop off in Fort Lauderdale Fl to move a new boat I purchased. Due to the forecast of an impending tropical storm I requested to cancel. I have been on chat with Priceline in excess of one hour and forty five minutes continuing to jump through their hoops and still have not accomplished this simple task. Never again will I ever book anything through Priceline again, Terrible and incompetent staff!
