Attempted to make hotel reservations online with Priceline. Had problems with the web site so called Priceline on phone. Made 1 reservation in my name and my credit card and received confirmation. Made 2nd reservation in another name and paid with their credit card and received confirmation for double room. My credit card billed for 3 rooms. Hotel says Priceline made reservation in my name for 4 rooms. Priceline refuses to refund charges. Has been a total nightmare and will never use them again.

I recently purchased tickets through the Priceline website. Even though I clicked the "Round trip" button, Priceline booked two one way tickets. The airline cancelled the outbound flight but not the return flight. Because Priceline had purchased two one way tickets, ITA Airways refused to refund the return ticket. Priceline refuses to refund the return ticket. MAKE SURE YOU ARE PREPARED TO HAVE HALF YOUR TRIP CANCELLED WITHOUT COMPENSATION before booking with Priceline!! And don't trust their Customer Service people to be honest. I was given a fake email address to send my complaint.

As a long time Priceline customer, I was extremely disappointed with my latest transaction with them. We booked a hotel for an important conference my husband needed to attend. As he was attempting to travel to the location (PANTAGES HOTEL TORONTO CITY CENTRE), he started feeling ill. In these times of Covid, he wanted to do the right thing and cancel the trip. Priceline refused to refund the itinerary and blamed it on the hotel. You would think that both PRICELINE and PANTAGES would do more to protect clients and the community ar large. I’m disgusted by both businesses and the have permanently lost our business.

We booked a hotel room through Price line for amount of 471.72 on March 2, 2023 to check in on March 3, 2023. Our stay was booked for 6 nights. We charged the hotel to our Personal visa credit card. Price line took the whole amount immediately out of our bank when we booked it. When we arrived at the Ramada Inn Wyndham Seatac North we were told very rudely by the front desk clerk that we needed to pay an additional 150.00 for incidental deposit, which we had no problem paying. We gave the clerk our American express and he ran the card and came back and said it was denied. That is impossible because it's a business card and it is unlimited. We asked if he could try again and he kept saying it's denied and he then said he could only take cash. We told him we didn't have cash and that we needed to call price line back to be relocated because they refused our good american express.
We also told him we would be back with cash if we couldn't resolve what the credit card company was denying. We called and checked american express and were told everything was fine and it was not the card. Our card and limit was good. We then decided we needed to call priceline because he was refusing to check us in without paying cash and being we use price line on a weekly basis and never had a problem like this before we figured we could be relocated. We called and were told that the manager was not available until Monday and there's nothing they can do to help us. We ended up sleeping our truck that night because both companies refused help and wouldn't check us in. We came up with the cash and went back to Ramada inn and said, "OK here's the 150." Security and the front desk clerk informed us that they cancelled our 6 day reservation and there's nothing they could do..
We contacted price line again and said now they have cancelled us. Could they please help us. They do not until Monday when they could speak to ramada inn manager. I stressed to them that they had our money and we had No way of charging for another room and we didn't want a refund just to be relocated and again no help!! We slept in our vehicle again night two and no one could help nor did they care! Monday has come and we had to get a loan from family to get a room and priceline said they still couldn't reach the ramada inn manager and it would another day.. So another day out of room, no money, and yet their companies got paid and we got service..
I am in hotel rooms and give price line a lot of my business and I'm a gold member and I can't believe they do business this way and if from the reviews I've read they are one of worst crooks I've ever experienced. Can someone please help get our money back.. We literally are sleeping in our vehicle till my payday and need our refund to get another room.. Price line and Ramada inn were paid 471.00 and we never got a room.. How is this even legal???

When selecting package they was no indication as to extra charge for return flight upcharge for my carry on. Going to destination no charge for carry on. Returning I paid additional $70 for my daughter and myself to fly my things home. Extremely disappointed. This was United airlines. Never ever will I choose to package anymore with hidden fees and no way to get a refund from either United airlines or Priceline. Dishonest business and shady dealings with both parties.

If I could, I would give them zero stars. They are the worst company in existence. I fly frequently, and unfortunately, my United flight was canceled. Although United refunded my money quickly, I had to wait for Priceline to release my funds because I booked through them. Priceline repeatedly blamed United for the delay. Every time I tried to connect them on a 3-way call, Priceline hung up on me. After speaking with United, I learned that some companies use their own credit cards to book flights, and it's possible that my refund was processed through their account. United confirmed the refund verbally and via email, but I have yet to receive my money to this day.

Attempted to book plane tickets online through priceline.com. All attempts failed after filling out all information. An failed error screen was shown when trying to complete the transaction and there was no confirmation email sent or confirmation screen shown. This lead us to call priceline to complete the booking. Before proceed with this booking, we asked the person to confirm if there is any booking in our name. We were told the tickets were no longer available and thus the reservation failed. We proceed with the "phone" booking which we recieved confrimation. However, a few days later, there were duplicate charges on our credit card.
One of the "online" failed booking went through somehow without confirmation. We only found out about the failed "online" booking went through with our credit statement. Again, we were told there was no booking in their system before proceeding with "phone" booking. We had since been on the phone with priceline for many hours with no resolution being kicked around between different departments or the person would end the call without warning. When calling again, it is back to step 1 every time as if it was our first time calling. Apparently, there are "offline" and "online" departments and they do not talk to each other or have access to each other systems.
Now, we have two bookings for the same trip, six tickets for three people. Again, the "online" booking failed which led us to call priceline to make the "offline" booking. It was explained to us "offline" priceline is not priceline.com so I need to call the "online" department. No surprise, when speaking with the "online" department, we would be transferred to the "offline" department. In short, no one from priceline "online" or "offline" department are willing to help. Their system failed and booked the plane tickets without confirmation, their service people misled us into booking the same booking on the phone, they refused to offer refund on the unauthorized booking with no confirmation what we discovered via our credit card statement.

I booked a weekend stay with a Super 8 hotel through Priceline. Upon arrival I witness prostitution and drugs on the property. I immediately requested this reservation be cancelled and my money which was 192.00 returned so I could find better accommodation. They didn’t even attempt to find me any better options for a place to stay. Instead, they offered a 20% coupon towards my next stay. With no other options, I accepted the room, which was crawling with roaches. The hallways smelt like urine. This was the worst Super 8 hotel I’ve ever stayed at. I truck for a living, and stay in hotels very often. I will never use this source again.

I receive nothing so I contacted them again and got the same response, they said they will elevate it to management and contact hotel again. I received nothing from them so I called Priceline again (third time, now it has been a month since first contact and we leave in 2 days). I went to another website and booked the same package and they confirmed the airline reservations first try. Same flights that Priceline told me were sold out. Awoke around 9/10 am to a four alarm fire. I refuse to the manager I would not be staying another night. Told me he would give me a full refund only to get thrown in a loop.of calls and promise of a refund because I didn't even stay more than 6 hours there. I recently booked a room at the Quality Inn Suites for what was advertised as $58 dollars for a 2 star hotel. One night of ease and no complications. Priceline does not tell you that the taxes may vary upon the booking or that with using Affirm, you were adding extra hurdles. They do not have the option of adding a second name to a reservation. They also state clearly in bold, Non refundable/non changeable.....but offer travel protection that does absolutely nothing. Why offer something that is useless but I digress. Spent all morning, attempting to add a name to no avail.
Arrive to this busted hotel where the front desk clerk says they charge 60 dollars for incidentals and they only take cash because "cards take too long" to refund. The clerk then tries to say that all hotels take cash....Never heard of this in my life. The room smelled sour but it was clean and I left it that way. Upon check out, the new desk clerk goes on to show pictures that seemed to already be stored in the phone saying there were stains left on a sheet. One sheet wasn't even in my room and yet they blamed me for it and kept my cash deposit that I had not planned on spending. The whole experience tainted what otherwise would've been a nice overnight. Of course with all the hoops, I ended up spending over 100 dollars more than planned when I could've went through Expedia or Booking.com at the end of the day. My first and last time booking through this site and specifically booking at the scammers over at the Quality Inn and Suites in Concord, NC.

I was double charged by Priceline as well as the hotel. Priceline said they would get back to me. Sent a message that it was taking longer than expected, and then I didn't hear back. I contacted them, and they are hopefully taking care of it. I asked why the hotel charge was cheaper. I was told that the extra fees are their profit. Called four times to finally speak to a manager. Found 3 other websites that were cheaper than Priceline. Even went as far as guiding the manager to the prices I found from three other sites. Everything matched as far as dates, hotel, non-refundable, etc. Kevin (the manager) would tell me he had found a higher price when I was literally looking at the breakdown of fees from the other sites that were less money. Yes, sites, plural, because with every site I brought him to he would say the same thing. Priceline had the better price, when I was looking at the grand total from all three sites as we went through them all being less money. A scam at best and when I read Priceline’s BPG it stated if I found a better price it was guaranteed by 200%. Well I found out why they state this in their guarantee. It is because they will tell you otherwise even when the facts are displayed right in front my face at that current moment. I will never do business with Priceline again. I booked a trip to Denver, CO through Priceline.com that included a rental car from Routes car rental at the airport for an additional $91.20. After paying for the entire trip I received an email from Routes stating they did not rent to Colorado residents and thus I needed to cancel my rental car reservation with them, and book a rental car with another company. I contacted Priceline customer care (which is extremely hard to get ahold of) and discussed the issue with them. They summarily canceled my reservation and informed me they would issue the refund for Routes and also stated they would reimburse the difference in cost for booking another rental car company for the same class of vehicle and booking time frame. I received an email from Priceline Customer Care confirming this reimbursement.
After completion of my trip, I followed the instructions in the reimbursement email to the letter and when I received the confirmation email showing the submitted car rental receipt for reimbursement, under the type of document submitted it was incorrect. I repeated my receipt submission exactly as stated in the email, and again the type of document submitted showed incorrectly. I contacted Priceline multiple times regarding this issue and was informed they already issued a refund for the original $91.20 from Routes Car Rental. I informed them that I was also promised a reimbursement of the difference in cost from the original rental amount and the new rental amount. They seemed to not understand me and insisted I was owed nothing else.
I have called and emailed multiple times to resolve this issue with Priceline and even have a case # ** regarding this issue. I was supposed to be informed of the status of reimbursement within 5 business days of opening the case and Priceline failed to do so. I have called and emailed and every time I am informed that they do not know what is happening and can tell me nothing, and in fact keep receiving the same response that I have been issued a refund for the Routes car rental of $91.20. The total cost for my other car rental for that trip was $705.56 (with insurance and fuel) and Priceline owes me a reimbursement of the difference from the original $91.20 and $705.56 (minus insurance and fuel etc.). They have all documents and receipts and I am now forced to report Priceline for Consumer Fraud to The Federal Trade Commission.

I rented a car with Priceline at Dallas Love Field for 8 am. I arrived to find that the company Priceline used (Easirent) didn't open until 8 am, was located off site and their shuttles didn't start picking up until after 8 am so in other words there was no way to arrive at Dallas Love Field and rent a car from this company at 8 am. This was or should have been known by Priceline and Priceline should not have offered 8 am rentals with this company. Easirent's shuttle picked me up at 8:40 and I got my car at 9 am. Unacceptable when my reservation is for 8 am. I called Priceline while waiting for over an hour to pick up this car. They couldn't have cared less.
Additionally, Easirent asks you to sign various electronic documents and provides zero of them to you. You drive away with absolutely no proof of your rental car contract or information on what to do if there is an issue, etc. The car was not clean, the gas tank was not full - it was 7/8 - and a warning light came on in the car almost immediately for wiper fluid being low. The shuttle driver also is working at the rental counter so be patient if you want a shuttle to or from the airport with Easirent because you will be waiting 30-40 minutes. I and my husband recently booked a packaged for accommodation and car rental through the Priceline website. We've used this company for few times already but this is the first time we booked a bundle since we needed transportation and we even added an insurance coverage just in case some delays might happen. Our flight landed over an hour late from the expected time to pickup the car. At the front desk, we were informed that the reservation for the car was already closed since we arrived late (including the waiting time for the car rental to pick us up from the airport). So we ask if we could reopen the reservation and get a different car instead, but then they have to collect another rental payment from us saying that Priceline has the money and was not remitted to them.
We ended up not renting a car from this company (Route rental) and looked for another car rental within the area. We contacted Priceline explaining the situation and to request for refund for the car rental and insurance we've paid to them. We received their reply after few days informing us that we booked a "non-changeable, non-refundable type of reservation". This is a costly learning for us, if ever we've missed those fine prints when making the reservation. But why would someone would take the risk to book under that kind of terms and conditions? We wouldn't have asked for refund if ever both companies have legit arrangement to make adjustment and still allowed us to rent a car without making another payment. We felt we're scammed. :(

Then I find out the one car they had available was $40 per day, take it or leave it. I was under pressure to pick up people for a wedding so I didn't walk back in and refuse the car because of its saturation of cigarette smoke smell. Their $450 threat posted on the window doesn't keep people from smoking in cars but their detailers aren't taking care of business either. I plan to post this on an AVIS site as well. Would be a 0-star review if that were an option. No customer service, no customer satisfaction and could care less what happens to their customers or their experience. They are partners with Spirit Airlines who are the dregs of airlines. I guess you pay for what you get. If you want canceled, delayed and poor flights this is your company to book with. There are fees and additional charges for everything. They charge $200 for the flight and $400 for your carry-on bags and seat selection. That is beside the point and not even my issue. They had 4 planes sitting in the hanger and no staff to fly them.
We were only missing a co-pilot for our crew. They delayed us for over 8 hours saying it was because of the weather. Then canceled the flight and told us it was because of the weather. The inside airport staff was so fed up with the constant questions about our flight they told us the truth, they said the co-pilot called off because he didn't want to fly such a late flight. Our only option was to wait in the airport for 12 more hours for the next Spirit flight that could get us to Philadelphia. I would take 18 more hours to fly back to the East Coast with a layover after going further west to LA.
It was crazy unbelievable. Was stranded in the airport for 13+ hours, but I was eventually lucky enough to find seats on a last-minute flight to come home to Delaware. Cost me $1760 extra. I did it all on my own with no help from Priceline. They said nothing they can do, that's how it is. If it's not their fault, then there was nothing they were willing to do. I spoke to the executive team when I returned, they offered me $50 total to split between all 5 of us for the inconvenience. What a joke. Learned this lesson the hard way. Price Scam got us good!!!

I ended up having to pay the deposit of $100 each day that I was there plus the $28 resort fee that Priceline did not mention. So for their site messing up it ended up costing me money. So from now on I will never be using Priceline again. I would rather book directly with the hotel and pay a little extra and be perfectly good, than ever book with them again. I will never go for a company that will not correct their mistakes. So do not ever use these people.

I have been a customer of Priceline for well over 15 years. Up until the last year, every experience has been 5 star. The rooms/cars have always been great experiences. The customer service was as well. The last THREE experiences with Priceline have been terrible and very frustrating. The rooms I booked were so below a one star rating in my opinion. FILTHY.. and each time Priceline would not do anything to resolve the situation.
I rented a room in Miami at the Miami Gardens Inn. It was the most disgusting hotel I have EVER seen. I left without staying the full reservation. You would too. The hotel would not reimburse. Priceline said I had to settle it with the hotel myself. Priceline should NOT have this hotel on their list. On an occasion just two months ago, Priceline would not go head to head with a hotel that refused to allow me to have my service animal in the hotel. This is a clear violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act. The last car I tried to rent from Hertz was a disaster. I am done with Priceline.

I made a reservation for a hotel/casino in Reno and was charged a resort fee. Checking in I was informed I must pay that fee directly to the hotel, not the third party. Priceline would not acknowledge that the fees I paid them were resort fees but rather internal Priceline taxes and fees. Shown a copy of my booking details and a copy of a current booking through Priceline detailing the extra fees as resort fees and a copy directly from the hotel website detailing the extra fees as resort fees, their customer representative supervisor (in an escalated review) maintained they do not collect resort fees as a matter of policy and the fees were for Priceline. The result is I have paid 55% more for the reservation than had I made it directly with the hotel. I notice that over the past two months the reviews of Priceline at Consumer Affairs have been consistently negative. Buyer beware!

It was an honest mistake, and I immediately called Priceline to help me switch the dates. There was NO grace period, I was told, even though I realized immediately that I had made a mistake and called within minutes. I was told there was nothing they could do, I would just have to "eat" the money! There should be a policy in place that allows cancellations or changes, even for reservations without a cancellation policy, for an hour or so, just in case an honest mistake has been made.

I misspelled one name on the application. They tell me I have to cancel the complete reservation and rebook. So if I cancel reservations, I have to wait 5-7 business days for the funds/transactions to be completed, then rebook everything. I do not understand why they can't change the name in the system. Then they will mention they need to contact the hotel. No, we need to get the airlines, not the hotel. The hotel does not conduct a name check. The airlines do.
I also understand I do not speak proper English along spell correctly, but I can barely understand them, and with my broken English, we confuse the hell out of each other... So I know I am not a rich person, so though they could not correct the name change, I asked them to cancel the entire reservation, and I won't be rebooking with them.. The entire family is going away, so we are spending well over 7K, but a much-needed vacation for us all. Miraculously they can change a name now... to my surprise. Thank you for the 1hr phone conversation..I am over it!

I used Priceline for the very 1st time in December 2022. I was headed to Houston, TX to visit a friend. I reserved a car rental and a hotel. Based on the pictures advertised on Priceline for the hotel I had chosen, I thought it was a great deal. Of the 803 reviews listed, all were mostly positive. Boy! Was I in for a surprise! Hotel was NOTHING like the pics online by Priceline. Hotel had water stains all over on the ceiling, my room had fogged up mirrors because the hot water in the tub could not be shut off. Bed had stains. The ottoman on the chair looked like it was 20 years old. The fixtures were full of rust. It was horrible.
I informed the hotel manager and he acted as if he couldn't understand me. I called Priceline and it's now January 25th, and I've made 5 calls to Priceline and still nothing has been resolved. Priceline tells me "we need to speak to hotel manager, please hold". Every time Priceline says, "manager was not on site, manager was not available, manager will be there on Saturday". NOTHING HAS BEEN RESOLVED! Worst experience ever. Avoid the headaches and just get rid of Priceline. They are useless.

After multiple attempts (days) to speak with anybody - FINALLY - able to talk with a rep. She stated there was no way to edit our tickets as 3/4 of us would fly out of AZ and our other friend would meet us at our destination. This was attempted 6 mos before our trip! I made a reservation thru Priceline that was handled thru their sister company Booking.com. When I received my credit card statement I was charged by Priceline for the entire reservation and also by the hotel for the same amount. I was told by the hotel that they were the only ones that was suppose to charge me and not Priceline. I made countless phone calls to get this resolved and getting bounced around by Booking.com and Priceline. I finally got to speak to a representative from Priceline who said they didn't see where I was charged by them, even though on my credit card statement it clearly says Priceline and their phone number. I filed a dispute with my credit card company after getting nowhere with Priceline. They could not help me due to some sort of policy that because this was an online charge and not with a merchant.
I went back to Priceline again after several phone attempts and again spoke to a Priceline representative. She gave me an e-mail address to send documentation of these charges, which I did. I sent copies of my credit card statements along with a letter explaining the double charge. I waited a week and didn't hear anything since I was told it would be approx. 5 days. I again sent a follow-up letter along with all the copies asking acknowledgement if it was received and again heard nothing. I waited another week and finally called Priceline again, again going thru several reps and getting cut off 4 times. I demanded to speak to a manager and finally one came to the phone. I explained the entire situation, gave the case number provided to me which meant nothing to him, and he kept insisting that I needed to provide the correct trip number.
I gave him the trip number that I had been using for all of the countless calls before that everyone recognized before, and he said he could not help me further if I couldn't provide the correct trip number for this reservation. this. He kept saying to check my e-mail and I kept telling him I only traveled 1 time this year and this was the only reservation in question. This was simple because we only went on 1 vacation and this was the only trip number that should be in their system. He was ready to hang up on me, so I gave him a brief ear full before we both hung up. I was going nowhere with him and he was a supervisor. We are out of $322.00 because I am tired of messing with this firm and nowhere else to turn to. I will never use Priceline or Booking .com again. In that process I was transferred back and forth between Priceline and Booking.com multiple times and none of them accept responsibility for the inconvenience, posting blame on the other and not correcting the situation. I booked a reservation nearly a week ago and spent the initial time researching and pricing out a room for an upcoming stay. After time and consideration, I chose The Red Lion in Seaside, Or. Today, I receive an e-mail of cancellation for my stay. I call the number listed in the email which is the hotel who informs me they have been sold and will not be operating as a Hotel. I then contact Priceline. Priceline encourages a text option but then gives the run around to contact Booking.com.
Booking.com references Priceline which is who I booked through. My biggest problem is that now the comps for that hotel are more expensive than a week ago. Priceline won’t offer any compensation for what I would deem is their mishap. The product they offered is not available and was basically falsely advertised to me. Even if they didn’t know in the moment, they could have absolutely offered some sort of compensation for the time I wasted researching and the price differential over this past week while other inventory pricing went up. I will never use their services again. It’s not convenient when it becomes this much of a nuisance and no one I spoke to will accept responsibility.

I went online to find a rental car for our recent trip to LA, CA. I settled upon Economy Car Rental via Priceline.com. Upon arrival at LAX, after retrieving our bags, we followed the directions to where to pick up rental cars. We waited for twenty minutes for a shuttle with our car rental listed. I called Economy only to learn that we had to go to a different place to be picked up and that the shuttle would say something different than the name for which we were looking. I was gruffly told that the text number on our record had received a text with those instructions, which never arrived.
We finally found the place where we were supposed to be picked up and waited another fifteen minutes. The "shuttle", a blue line bus, picked us up, drove about a mile off the airport property and dropped us at another parking lot and left us there. The driver told us another "shuttle" would be by to pick us up, but failed to mention it would not say Economy on it anywhere. After three calls to speak with someone at Economy, and twenty minutes later, an old tired minivan finally showed up and took us to the agency.
When he dropped us off at the back of a building, he told us which door to go in, since there was no sign for the agency on the door. We entered and walked down a long hallway and finally found the front desk. There were two persons working there and it was a very inefficient, antiquated office. It took 35 minutes to finally get assigned our car, and then we had to wait another 15 minutes to actually get the car. When it showed up it was dented and scratched up, and the interior smelled like a wet dog and was covered in pet hair, plus the carpet still had evidence of muddy shoes in the front and back seats. First you can't check in until late afternoon. Then they take 150$ and better for a deposit. Bad customer service. Reason why Priceline is used is to save money. Why did the room and deposit turn into 300$+ in which I didn't have. So in turn I spent the night on the streets until my flight the next day. No refund, no help. They stole my money and left me for dead.

I purchased a weekend getaway to a 4 star NYC hotel with my daughter. The hotel was dirty, filthy bedding, large burns in the carpet, damaged furniture, smelled awful and unsafe. Priceline refused to help. I even provided photos. We spent several hours attempting to have Priceline change our hotel, which they refused to do. I would love to share the photos. Do not used Priceline. The so-called 4 star hotel is not more than a 2 star. They definitely misclassified this hotel. I was unable to read the reviews until after the purchase was made. When I did, there were so many complaints about the condition of the rooms. So Priceline is well aware.

Please read and understand you will not receive any help and assistance from Priceline when you need it the most and they will even make matter worse for you for their benefit. The review is directed to Priceline management. We brought tickets for overseas vacations in October from Priceline, the travel date is 1/4/23 and return 1/28, coordinates with my husband military leave. On 12/23 we found out ourselves from United App, our return flight was cancelled. We didn’t receive any notification from Priceline. We called Priceline CS 4 times and spent the next 12 hours on the phone, none of your agent was able to help us rebook a flight, they lied to us with different stories.
First agent said our reservation is good to go and all flights were confirmed until I pointed out to her our cancellation. Then she put us on hold, came back with a different tone and told us that, no more flights for January from Morocco to San Francisco. Even when I had told her that I was looking at other flights on your website; I was told by her that “they are probably will be cancelled as well”, she said that she had no access to those flights. The call was at around 3am on 12/23. So we asked for a supervisor.
2nd agent was supposed to be a supervisor. She definitely was trained better than the 1st agent in manner but I knew she lied to us just to get us off the phone. After a lengthy discussion, she told us that there were flights available which we already knew, but she was unable to reschedule our flight, because she couldn’t change it in her computer and it is the company policy that she has to discuss with United. since she couldn’t reach them by phone, she has to email United Airlines, it will take 10 business days to receive the response. (So it will be 1/6/23 by the 10th business.)
Therefore we should fly to Morocco first; then someone will contact us if we will get a rescheduled return flight according to airline decision. Do you think this is our first trip overseas or we are born yesterday! No matter what we asked your supervisor wouldn’t guarantee we will be rescheduled; worst of all she said “or you might just pay for the difference“. You really think we will go overseas; then wait for you to name your price to bring us home!
So We had contacted United Airlines, we had waited 3 hours on the line and had their reservations department manager on the phone, she confirmed the information we received from Priceline was fault, since our tickets were booked through a travel agency, the agency has absolutely ability to reschedule a flight. Actually she was able to override the booking code on United system, due to travel agency booking. Also about the 10 business days, they don’t communicate with your company such way. She was willing to talk to Priceline agent for solutions since United Airlines was unable to change our flight due to the special pricing under travel agency. We spent another 30 minutes wait time, contacted the 3rd Priceline agent with United manager on the phone, (by the way this was 12/23, the busiest travel day, we waited 3 hours to get through United Air and they were willing to wait for 30 minutes for us to reach your agent).
The 3rd agent, he refused to talk to United, claimed it was Priceline policy that they are not allowed to have 3 way call with airline, he said that he had to contact United himself but couldn’t get through. The United manager even told him to give her his phone number, so She could call him right away directly to resolve the issue. Your agent kept saying it is the company policy he can’t talk to Airline. He put us on hold, I think he went to read the note on our ticket, because when he returned, he repeated the same thing that last Agent said, we have to wait 10 business days. Even United Airlines customer service was very surprised by your agent’s response and attitude. We told her about the email, she will look into it, and see where Priceline had sent it.
The 4th time we called, we asked for cancellation if Priceline can’t confirm a return flight prior to our departure. Due to my husband job in the Army, we must submit our overseas trip itinerary. Your agent just hung up on us. If your company truly believed in surveys will help you improve customer service, please ask yourself how lies, made up excuses and pushing customers, and hope your customer will just fell for it; then they can fight for themselves when overseas for the return flight or pay arms and legs extra for the return flight.
By the way, Priceline keep sending me the confirmation of my full Itinerary (including the cancelled flight) up til yesterday 12/31, telling me we are ready to go. Today 1/2/23, 2 days prior to our original departure, someone called and left a message said they just received cancellation from the Airline and want us to call back Priceline CS to result the issue. Now what happened to the email your agent sent to United on 12/23, according to her, the next agent call us should be confirming our rescheduled return flight! not telling us our flight has been canceled! That’s how you lose trust in the business world. The change has to come from the top of your company. Your staffs dare to lied to customers, make up excuses to avoid provide crucial customer service, must have a strong support system behind them. It has become your culture sadly.

I booked a hotel stay through Priceline and added insurance because of husband's condition. Canceled 24hrs before my initial stay with the hotel &when I called front desk receptionist she stated I should contact 3rd party. Didn't cancel my reservation. Called Priceline customer rep. He stated he will affectation the problem, as he called hotel. Came back on the line after 24min and told me cancelation will incur a charge because hotel policy permits it. I explained that I followed protocol and it was not on same day it was 24hrs before actual booking. Representative stated I should call Allianz insurance and I'd definitely receive full refund.
Representative from Allianz Ins. Stated I needed doctors' reports, canceled reservation, trip itinerary. Once received I'd only receive a percentage of total funds. I reiterated what price line Rep. Stated about total refund and was told it was untruth. Even when you provide all pertinent documents I won't get full refund.. I called back the hotel, spoke to General manager Mr ** whom stated priceline knows of their hotel policy about 1st day cancelation and how it automatically incur deductible. I stated, "I canceled within the time frame but your front desk receptionist didn't bother to cancel me nor express policy sanctioned between hotels& priceline." He apologized and said there is nothing he can do. That priceline knows this. Then I asked the GM **to cancel my reservation.
I reached back out priceline and was told I never canceled reservation and that I would only receive small portion of my booking fee. I reiterated what was told to me by previous Representative from priceline and was placed on very long hold for 29min 3 times. Once returned she stated she canceled my trip but I will only receive 310.00 from a 556.80 hotel stay I never took and that there was nothing else that could be done. I spoke about the insurance being capped onto my stay and its purpose. She replied. It didn't matter. I had to accept Priceline's False advertising, falsifying Information regarding resolution. Failing to initially cancel reservation. Withheld valid information regarding hotel policy. Knowing irregardless of following priceline 24hr & hotel 24 hr cancelation policy you will be charged. Knowing it didn't matter what time you contact the hotel they are going to charge 3rd party just for not getting the full amount.
Priceline takes it from you because they have to get a percentage. If they do this every day to people a little bit tallies up to a lot. Allianz didn't wish to relinquish 100 percent because they too get a percentage on top of what you pay to purchase coverage. I wouldn't deal with third party unless you're certain about the underlining facts regarding Cancelations, insurance and hotel factors that implement the 3rd party role with cancelations. Shame on you priceline.

They kept transferring me to another person as I asked to speak with a manager. When they figured out what I was trying to explain they passed me through to 6 supposedly different MANAGERS. Each one of them stated they could not help me with this matter, and then when I asked for someone else who could they ALL told me they could not send me to anyone else because they were the LAST person available for me to speak with. After returning the vehicle and submitting the final receipt, I received an email stating the I was not eligible for reimbursement because the vehicle was a different size and gas was billed through rental car company. I called Priceline to inform them that I made reservations for an economy car but the company gave me what they had. My charges reflected the price of an economy rental car. I contacted AVIS and they reimbursed for the gas charges because I returned the vehicle on full. At that point, Priceline still refused to reimburse me $300. I asked them to listen to the recorded line and they refused. They keep telling me that since I picked up the vehicle at 2am instead of 11:30pm then I couldn’t get the refund.
Their customer service representative lied and they were not willing to hold their end of the bargain. Their practices are deceitful and dishonest. I’ve been a Priceline VIP member for years and never had a problem. That was the first issue and last time renting anything through Priceline. As a consumer, I will now record any and all conversations with companies. I trusted them to keep their word and they did not. My initial reservation was $300 and my final rental car was over $600. Had I known they would not be honest, I would have rented my vehicle directly from the rental car agency. I’m disappointed in Priceline’s tactics. Be warned and record for yourself.

Beware of Priceline, they represent businesses and not customers. I was booking a hotel in Chicago. They send a "DEAL" offering three hotels at $95.00 per night located on the Magnificat Mile. Great deal. While processing my payment and Travel Insurance they sent a message the deal expired and offered another deal. The first two hotels in the "New Deal" were in the 1st deal. They then placed a third hotel in the Package. Due to pressure of losing the 1st deal, I clicked. I got the 3rd hotel and then realized they put in a Hotel nowhere near the area of Chicago I was seeking and was in the 1st deal. I call that fraud. Also, they informed me after the transaction that my travel insurance was not processed. In other words I was screwed. Priceline would do nothing to help. Their attitude is, "Too bad! We screwed you! Fair disclosure, and duplicate action warnings when using internet-based commerce are commonplace and recognized as standard when something is irreversible using internet-based commerce, yet it doesn't serve Priceline so they ignore this. The dollar amounts are small but their business model is to make small amounts on high-volume traffic and continue without any consequence for their actions because the individual cost is relatively small. Either way, this is a deceptively misleading buying experience and should be changed and until it does, BUYERS BEWARE OF PRICELINE. DO NOT USE THEM.

So when I got there I had to book an EXTRA NIGHT & guess what?! The hotel was booked up, so I had to look for a place to stay for just ONE NIGHT in another country I know nothing about.
When I finally got to check into the hotel I originally booked, they asked me where the other guest was. There were 3 of us, and I was confused. They later went on to tell me I needed to contact the booking party I used because they charged me for 4 people "all inclusive stay." I CALLED AND THEY SAID AND DID NOTHING. Oh, and since my hotel check-in date & airport arrival were all on different dates, the transportation booked with them were all wrong times and days.. I spent my vacation horribly all because of PRICELINE. I hate everything about them.

I had this booked for my Mom from 12/14/22-12/19/22. My mother was rushed to the hospital the night of the 12th. I was unaware at this time. (There were no 'in case of emergency, call... In her wallet'. Found out the night of the 14th. Called the hotel, they had it as a 'no show'. Explained what happened, the Clerk at the desk told me to 'call Priceline and explain what happened. They'll call me and I'll approve the refund'. They called and he did not approve the refund, they told me he had to have his supervisor approve it. I called on the 17th after finding the email declining my emergency and According to the clerk on the 17th, he thought priceline was going to call the supervisor to approve it but they didn't! They automatically denied the refund on the 15th and sent an email. I have been extremely busy with the hospital and Dr's to check for an email. Found the time tonight after midnight. That's where I found that priceline didn't lift a finger to help.
They denied it on the same day I spoke with the clerk, because it was after midnight at that point. No call to supervisor, supervisor wasn't supposed to call priceline according to priceline. They took the clerk saying his supervisor had to approve it as a denial. Do not trust these people!!!! Everything is non refundable, which is fine if you don't have a family emergency pop up and are 3,000 miles away!!!! Never again.
Called to speak with the clerk to ask why he didn't approve the refund as stated to me. He claimed it had to go through his supervisor. NOT what he told me on the 14th/into 15th when we spoke. Said his supervisor will call priceline to get this refunded. Priceline should have done the right thing and refunded the money. But this also falls on the clerk at Days in by Wyndham in Kingman, AZ. I'll be posting this there as well. I'm extremely saddened by the lack of human compassion. What if you lived 3,000 miles away and it was your mother? PRICELINE IS AN UNCOMPASSIONATE CORPORATION. I urge everyone to do their research before they start using Priceline. They definitely have some cheap options but they never keep their promises and in the long run you don't get value for your dollar as I was booking for a reservation it was rejected halfway and they took The money out of my bank too. Upon asking about a refund I was told they reversed the transaction to my bank and my bank has the money now and I called my bank and they told me that Priceline hadn't reversed any transactions. Now I'm having a hard time booking my trip somewhere else because Priceline has my money and they're not ready to refund it. I am afraid this will end up costing me my trip and $1,600.
You might see cheaper trips on Priceline but it doesn't mean they're available. They tend to recirculate their inventory Even for the products they don't have anymore and then when you reserve that booking since that booking is not available anymore and it's a hoax you will have your money held and won't be able to use that money towards anything else.

The flight credit we had was $291. I was expecting to pay a difference of around $91, but was instead charged $171.50 by Priceline. They stated that this was the price the airline agent gave them when rebooking the ticket. This new price of $533 was not listed anywhere and I’m convinced since the agent could not tell me where this discrepancy is coming from that Priceline robbed me! The customer service was AWFUL. The 3 agents that it took to get this ticket booked shows a severe lack of competency and/or lackluster training of their agents. This company should not be in business. Our flight home from FLL to BFLO was delayed and we would not be able to catch a new flight until the morning, So while my husband was on the phone with the airlines, I was on my phone trying to find a place to stay and Priceline kept popping up so I looked at Priceline's availabilities, reviews and prices for hotels around the airport for that night we went ahead and booked The Link Hotel. Priceline's reviews on the place weren't too bad and we figured we'd only be there a night.
When We entered the hotel it smelled very moldy and musty. The chairs in the lobby were So bad the seat part was sunken in and almost hitting the floor. When we went to the counter there was a gentleman there in jogging pants, t-shirt and slippers taking care of one customer. Another gentleman came out from the back. With him came a cloud of ** smoke. The two men at the counter did not know what rooms were booked. I also overheard them saying that they did not know if there was any clean towels. The gentleman with the jogging pants had to escort us through The building (I'm sure it was for our safety) and was debating on whether or not to put us in the elevator. You can tell that he was very flustered. It seemed like he was trying to avoid us having to use the elevator, but because we had a ton of luggage from our cruise he figured it would be better for us to use.
Once we made it to a room the guy had to knock and see if the room was being used and look through the curtain gaps to see if anyone was in the room. It took him a few tries to find a room that was not in use. Then he had to go back downstairs to find a key but he was a very hesitant to leave us standing outside with all of our luggage. When the man did come back with the key to a room he had to do a walk-through the place before we were allowed to enter. When we walked through the door there was no pillowcases, no towels, no washcloths and the room was extremely dirty. Before I could turn to say anything to the guy he was gone.
I tried to contact Priceline via text because I did not want My child to hear my conversation to let them know that this was a very unsafe condition that I was being put in. We had people strung out on stuff trying to get into our room. I explain to Priceline that I had no pillowcases, no towels, no washcloths. The room was filthy and a very scared and their reply was, "Did you let the hotel know." How am I supposed to let a hotel know when there is no telephone in the room and the phone number on the website was not getting answered which Priceline was notified by me earlier in the day that this hotel was not picking up their phone when I was trying to get a hold of them to verify the room and amenities.
The customer service from Priceline could not get a hold of the hotel via phone so he emailed the hotel. It is pretty bad when I expressed The false advertising of this hotel, no towels, no pillow cases, the filth and how it was not very safe I was just left hanging. Definitely not a company I will ever do business with again. Maybe Priceline's executives should go check out these places for themselves or have their families go stay in these places before saying No refund. I'm sure if they had people trying to get into their room at 11:30, 1:38am and 2:06am when you have a child and have no way of contacting the front desk (due to them not answering) they would change the policy. After a night of no sleep we left at about 5am. I have stayed in some pretty shady rundown places but this one tops it! This place makes one of the worst stays I had in Buffalo, Rochester and Poughkeepsie New York look like the Ritz!

What they neglect to mention is that there are many added on prices connected to airlines & hotels that are extremely subpar. For instance the parking fees @ the hotel he booked were never revealed until we arrived. The fact that a Sheraton hotel has no heat, inadequate safes in room (batteries duct taped to the inside of the wall) which failed often. Elevators that also didn't work properly. The fact that only some rooms get microwaves, without even an option to pay for them.
Now let me address the so called airlines they support...SPIRIT, a 1 hr & 20 minute delay without notification until we hit the airport, totally exorbitant baggage fee structure ($59.00 for a carry-on one way!!!!) So they were 80 minutes late but we were 5 minutes late to board (my son was sick in the lavatory) so they booted us off the flight & said the next would be in 2 days!!! I have been a Priceline customer since its inception in 1997. I've traveled to 59 countries globally for over 35 years, so I understand the travel process and policies. I've had numerous issues from mis-rated "4-star" hotels that were, at best, 2-star, to car rentals that were sketchy, at best. Although it was inconvenient, I was able to address the issue with Priceline, and I receive a refund or the names were changed. I've had "non-smoking" rooms reserved by Priceline, that ended up being "smoke-filled." One of their "4-star" hotels close to the Atlanta airport was, at best, a "1-star" hotel. It should have a been given a "4-stab" rating because it was in a very dangerous area.
NOVEMBER/DECEMBER 2022: I recently purchased a vacation package to Vegas for my wife and me that included a rental car. When we got to the rental car desk, I realized the TSA agent inadvertently kept my driver's license when I checked in. As such, I couldn't rent a car at the airport. The representative at Avis asked us to call Priceline and let them know they were fine with changing the name into my wife's name. I made the call, spent 30 minutes on hold, and was told they could not do it because of their policy where they will never change a name. I then gave them three examples where they did change the name on hotel reservations for me, so they then changed to say they never change names on rental cars. Apparently their policy changed as I listed the times they changed the name for me.
Priceline could have changed the name, but chose not to. As such, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND NOT USING PRICELINE FOR ANY REASON! I have one more trip I've already booked with Priceline and then I'm canceling my account. I will book directly at the rental car agencies and get their best rate, as well as at the hotels or I'll use a different travel site. Avis would have worked with me, but customer service manager, Louie D., and Priceline would not. Priceline no longer offers a better value than can be found on any other travel website. I don't even know how to accurately convey how frustrated and infuriated my experience with Priceline left me... I booked a vacation package through them late this summer for a trip in November and the whole appeal was that since we booked it as a vacation package, it would be cheaper and our flight and accommodations would be lumped together. 3 days before our trip, I find out that our flights were only taking us to West Palm Beach and not the Bahamas, which is where our accommodations were. I called customer support to ask how we were supposed to get there and the lady I spoke with informs me that even though we booked it all together as a package, our flight would not be taking us to the Bahamas.
I asked her how it was possible that we booked it together but somehow it wasn't taking us to our destination and she said she didn't know and said she could send me a copy of my receipt. I asked if there was a way to add a connecting flight and she informs me that the flights and trip as a whole are non refundable and non transferable and that my only option was to purchase a separate booking from West Palm to the Bahamas or purchase a whole new vacation package. I kept asking how it's possible and logical that someone would book a trip where the flight doesn't take them to their destination but she couldn't seem to give me an answer.
Unfortunately, we ended up having to pay $2,500 for new tickets (just for 2 people!) to make our trip. The total cost was ridiculous and all because of a bug or fault in their algorithm which should not allow for what happened to us to be an option. This was theft and I'm sure priceline is aware of the situation but since it's making them money, it's not convenient for them to fix the issue. The kicker? On our trip we met several people who had the exact same thing happen to them and they all booked through Priceline. Do yourself a favor and avoid them at all cost!

Priceline’s express deals and rating model is extremely misleading. I recently stayed at a 2.5 star hotel. The rooms were extremely filthy. The carpet had stains all over. It felt extremely unsafe and unclean. These low quality hotels are surviving due to Priceline’s Express deals that do not reveal the hotel name before you make the booking. Caution: Do not fall for Priceline’s express deals. It can be a health hazard (read bringing bed bugs at home and spending thousands to eradicate them, touching other persons dried up body fluids etc.)

I recently wanted to surprise my wife who booked a flight to the Philippines. I got all her flight information and called Priceline to upgrade her flight to business class. I was told that there would be a $350.00 fee on top of the fare difference, which I agreed to. After 15 minutes, the agent came back with a price of $2,600.00 plus the $350.00 fee. I said go ahead and I am ready to give her my credit card number. She placed me on hold for more than 30-minutes and when she finally came back, she apologized because they had no more seats at that price.
I initially called Korean Airlines, which is the airline my wife is flying on to find out if the business class has available seats. They said yes, which is when I called Priceline since that is where she purchased her tickets. When the Priceline agent came back, I was told the only seat I can now get will cost $16,000.00 to upgrade. My jaw dropped and I asked how the price can change within the time I was on hold. I am a VIP Gold member of Priceline but will be pulling all my travel purchases from them from now on. They have just lost a loyal customer and they were not able to give me a good explanation of how the price jumped 6-fold within a span of 30-minutes.

I purchased two flights and a rental in June of 2022 for a trip to Hawaii the very next month. Unfortunately, my mother passed two days before our fly out date. We cancelled and received a travel credit per flight. We did not receive a refund on the rental car. We had one year from the original purchase date to reschedule. Fast forward to November when we call to reschedule. We planned everything out using the Priceline site and called as the email instructed. The representative could not find anything close to what we paid for our original tickets. ALL prices were over what we paid. The flight dates and details we found and provided to him was over by $1000 per ticket causing a difference in the credit/ticket price. We were aware that there might be a difference of about $300. The cheapest difference we got to was a little over $300 and we were losing days!
In a time of need, Priceline did their part in cancelling but could not even provide the services we originally purchased. The supervisor was very unhelpful and did not answer any of my questions! She stated the rules of the cancellation and airline policy, which I already read. Supervisors are supposed to at minimum help the company's image, but this one sat in silence and could not even answer questions. We are going to change our destination to use our credit, delete our accounts, and find our vacation deals elsewhere! I strongly encourage everyone to reconsider when using their services! You do not expect to have to cancel flights, but when you do, this company cares nothing about the customer!

American Airlines changed time of flight making it minutes from my next flight so I had to cancel the trip I booked through Priceline that I also paid for trip protection for. Priceline gave me a credit to use only through Priceline not American Airlines and when I tried to purchase another flight it wouldn’t allow me to use the credit through the app, I talked to two different people on the chat on the app who were asking me for the same information multiple times and they didn’t need any of the information, all I needed to know was how to use the credit because the app only allows you to purchase with a card again. After wasting time on the chat taking me in a circle I was finally given a number to call to be able to use the credit.
In my experience on the phone I had a woman tell me with a strong Asian accent that made it hard to understand all the different flight information and when I choose one it turns out Priceline does not allow you to purchase trip protection again even though the previous trip protection I purchased on the canceled flight will not cover this different flight. She then told me I can call American Airlines to purchase a protection plan from them. I called American Airlines and you can only get a protection plan if you buy a flight through them only not for a flight through Priceline.

When I contacted the airline they told me that Priceline booked the tickets and they were the only ones that could make any adjustment. After being lied to and many more hours of runaround by the extremely rude reps at Priceline, I ended up purchasing a return ticket directly from the Airline.
Priceline tries to grind you down by putting you on extremely long hold times and they pass you around between their associates. I started doing some checking online. It appears that Priceline has been doing this tactic for sometime, it also appears that there may have been class action law-suit as a result of Priceline not returning fees and taxes on tickets that were never used. He said since I had already been charged and it was so far from the reservation date I could get a refund. I told him I need one more day to confirm with my friend he can't go.
I called back 2 days later and talked to a lady this time. She now told me I can't get a refund and if I cancel I'll still be charged the full amount. I explained to her I specifically chose to book with them because of the free cancelation. So they sent a cancellation request to the hotel and it was denied. I then proceeded to screenshot the fact that for my specific hotel on my exact days I was going said free cancelation and sent it to their CEO via email. No response as of yet. We booked on Priceline.com, six nights at the 1908 Lisboa Hotel in Lisbon, Portugal. We arranged travel from USA via Greece. We paid a premium for a reservation that permitted cancelation up until the day before arrival, $1,633 in total. On the day of travel I became very ill and tested positive for Covid-19. We contacted the Hotel upon testing positive for COVID-19. We were told the terms of cancellation expired at midnight the night before, six hours before we knew about the Covid positive test. This date was three months after we paid in full for our cancelation-advantaged reservation. We expected a refund for two reasons. We could not travel being Covid + and risk spreading the infection. And secondly, we knew we paid a premium for a cancellation policy.
The Hotel refused to budge on their terms and conditions for cancellation. We were marked as a no show when they knew that had we ‘shown up’ it would have been with Covid. We contacted Agoda, the customer service agents for Priceline. What followed was essentially their endorsement of this fact; If you have covid and do not want to have your booking cancelled as a no show – then you need to travel with Covid.
Subsequent correspondence with AGODA never varied from this position. If you have Covid and you want to use your Priceline Booking, then you should travel to the Hotel with Covid or you will be a ‘No Show’ and lose 100% of your booking, even if you did pay a premium for a cancelation option. We have not received any of the $1,600+ for the booking we made that included a cancellation policy. Our impression of AGODA Customer service and their functional incompetence could not be worse. We will not be customers of Priceline and AGODA in the future, nor will our friends and family. Or anyone who reads our reviews on Trip Advisor.

They told us and several customers Priceline does this all the time. They stated they do not check inventory they just always have a booking available to allow you to book then if you get there and they have a car you get it, if not you don’t. So now $760 later I’m stranded in the middle of a tiny town with no rental cars or hotels for at least an hour and needed to get 3 hours away.
I couldn’t get an Uber because no one wants to drive someone 3 hours so I ended up having to beg an Uber and tip him $200 on top of the $150-200 trip to take me so I wasn’t stranded so now $1160 later to get to my destination because of Priceline. I am not sure if they charged me yet as the transaction is still pending but they better not and as far as I’m concerned they should have to pay me for that trip because this was 100% their fault. In a few hours we realized the car vibrated when breaking and there was an Oil Change Alert, we let ACE know about it, they made us take the car to Pepboys but ACE didn’t want to take charge of the repair. They said they’d repair it in two weeks after we return it.
Just one week after, the gearbox stopped shifting so it left us stranded in the middle of the Highway. We had to pay for an Uber to reach to our Hotel in San Francisco. After 3 days ACE Rental told us they couldn’t repair the car so we had to manage our way back to Los Angeles, as they didn’t have any office in San Francisco.
After two months complaining we just received a minor reimbursement, not to speak about the $100 Uber ticket. Priceline has never given us detail of the reimbursement. Recently some of my family moved to MI. I booked a hotel through "Priceline", unfortunately, somehow, whether me, or digitally, the booking was for the wrong city. After driving from FL to MI, and being exhausted when we arrived to their house, eventually wanting to go to our hotel, I google mapped it, and lo and behold it was the wrong city, it was actually almost 2 hours away. So I tried to cancel the booking online and couldn't. I tried calling the hotel with no answer, calling no less than 15 times, with phone ringing until it hung up on me. I contacted the same hotel chain in the city where we were, and tried to get them to either cancel the reservation or move it to where we were, but they couldn't, and said that I needed to contact the other hotel.
So again I try to call several times, no one answers. Frustrated and tired at this point, I just book the hotel where we were and send an email to the other hotel. They tell me, I would have to contact Priceline to get a refund, because I booked thru a third party. Priceline, tells me, the reservation I had shows no refunds, but on the paperwork I have it says: Cancelation policy says "FULL REFUND", unless you cancel day of then it's a 56% penalty.
I reached out to Priceline 2 times, 1st time, they said they would get back to me, well, that never happened, so I contacted them again today, and they said they could do nothing for me. I was willing, to take the hit, a partial refund is better than no refund. After all, this was not a "free" trip for me. I took off work, paid for a hotel (Over $250), plus gas to get there, time off of work, and I do not get paid time off. And no one is willing to even give a partial refund. That BITES! Priceline sales department online and over the phone for the most part is exemplary. Priceline customer service customer relations in regards to resolutions due to errors created by agents of Priceline is deplorable to say the least. As a repeat customer who has had several reservations executed correctly and effectively only to find one reservation, a simple error turn into a customer's nightmare. What should have been a simple resolution, due to agent error, that created a cancellation of no fault by customer became a nightmare.
Multiple agents in multiple departments failed completely. They lacked listening skills as well as resolution skills. One even blind transfered and another started to pretend she could not hear the second I mentioned issues, and another said "I don't know" and "I can't" all while asking everything to be repeated. The agent asking me to repeat, I spoke to calmly as I talked very slowly given information in English with no accent and properly enunciated each letter and word, repeated it to her for clarification but she was completely incapable of her job. Almost every agent pawning off to a different department, while not properly listening. The sales team seems to not have the above issues, only customer service and managers and seems all female agents except 1.
Please, Priceline, re train your employees if not review more calls and fix the policies that created the no resolution issues. A customer, especially a repeat customer should never be told: I can't and I don't know, it blind transfered, and it be left without a room due to countless agents. Two hours, no resolution, forced me to book direct with hotel not priceline.com.
Being a seasoned customer service agent myself for some very large companies in my past my expectations are not unreasonable or unfounded for a agent created error. Errors happen but your lack and complete inability to resolve is not ok. More than 8 agents or so involved. Keep in mind, you have an internal issue. Refund is only part of a solution but if that person only had those funds and your taking days to refund that adds insult to injury. Demanding your customer pay a higher price and not honoring the original price guaranteed due to your error is not ok.
Recap: listening skills and one call resolution, complete resolution not partial is a must.

As it was an express booking I am losing almost $300.
Their attitude was cold and rigid, Customer accommodation and customer satisfaction wasn't met, the only thing they keep saying was: "this is the policy, I cannot help you.". Again, I never asked for a refund, I only asked to change the pick up and drop off location and offer to pay extra if necessary. This is the only travel company that I experience that showed no willingness of accommodating on the reason that is "express booking". I feel that I was taken advantage. The way representatives spoke came across entitled and above everything and everyone especially when they kept repeating: nobody can help you, I am the last person to talk to", I regret very much booking anything with Priceline and I will never do it again. Thank you for reading.

All I wanted to do was talk to an actual person but both the phone would hang up because I don't have a trip number and the person I was chatting with Velle wouldn't help me. I tried to tell that person that when I call I get hung up on. All I was trying to get was pricing for 3 adults leaving Atlanta going to Dallas because of a death in the family. Therefore, we need open ended tickets for the flight home. That's all. No one would help. It is ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS that you can't get a live person on the phone!! Fix your system.

I booked a Hotel and Car rental from Priceline. I booked the wrong dates for both. I was told that I could not change nor cancel the trip as it stated in the agreement. I never saw that. Yes, it is my fault for booking wrong. I didn't realize at the time that I had done that. So this is what I did, I booked the hotel and car rental the same day to pick it up and check into the hotel, Nov 6th I did the same thing for drop off a checkout on Nov 11th. I live 1900 miles away traveling from Wisconsin to New Mexico. So therefore I'm unable to do that on those dates. I cannot check-in/checkout the same day that I get the rental car and return it.
REASON FOR MY TRIP; To pick up a Service Dog and to visit with my Family. I have METASTASIZE MELANOMA BRAIN CANCER. I was given a year to live. It's hard to travel as it is but since they will not help me in this situation, I'm unable to go. I'm on a fixed income already. Unable to purchase another car or hotel and still pay the 700 that I already had paid for.

Literally the worst company I've ever interacted with. Booked a car at the SFO Airport. Get there and the company they set me up with is not at SFO - it's at a location a half hour away via shuttle. Annoying but I tried to let it go. Get to the shuttle location. They are running a 5 person shuttle once every half hour with a line of 20+ people. Awful but we wait it out. Finally get to the sketchy location after the driver spent the entire drive on Instagram to a huge line with one customer service rep. Get through that hurdle to find they literally don't even have a shuttle to get us back at the time we need to return the car. Called Priceline with this info and they were unwilling to help in any way. No refunds or help. Absolute joke of a 'company'.. We left their vendor after another hour wait for the shuttle to book with a location actually at the airport Priceline had claimed we were booking with to begin with.

I tried booking a flight through priceline.com, roundtrip from Kansas City to Jamaica for Jan 2023. I selected a flight to Jamaica through American Airlines and returning flight through Spirit Airlines... Priceline said it had a payment issue with the card I was trying to use... and then I received an email from Priceline that said the trip I was trying to book had been canceled. So I assumed I needed to call my credit card company to figure out what issues were causing this (that was 2 nights ago)... I had a voicemail yesterday from someone I had difficulty understanding that said something about the Spirit Airlines Flight and to call the number back...
I got an email from Spirit Airlines saying my flight was booked for a one-way flight from Jamaica to Kansas City on Jan 30th, 2023. SO CONFUSED. I called the number back and wanted to find out if it was actually booked. They looked up the confirmation number and said it was booked. I asked them if they worked for Spirit Airlines or Priceline and they said Priceline... so I asked them to look up the AA flight going to Jamaica and they said that was denied and voided. So I asked why in the heck only part of it was booked... They had no idea and transferred me to Spirit Airlines Customer service (because they said they could no longer help me with this... I had asked them to please just cancel that one way trip back from Jamaica with Spirit because it was annoying that I was told by Priceline that my trip was cancelled but actually, behind the scenes, the one-way flight back with Spirit was booked...
I had asked her why they would let that happen and she didn't know, nor could help...so she just said she could transfer me to Spirit Airlines customer service to deal with it)... After being transferred and going through the automated options with Spirit.. it said it was going to transfer me to a representative of Spirit... I was on a silent hold for about 10 minutes until it hung up on me... I called again and went through the same thing... after 10 minutes of silent hold... hung up on... So then I went to their website, where it said "24/7 live chat support!"...
So I started a chat... and after the automated questions, it said it was connecting me to a representative... and then it said my message was in the queue and that I was in line from the order my message it was received... telling me I had a 1 hour and 5 minute wait... SO, I waited forever...and finally had the chat convo emailed to me from the chat settings so I could see the time stamp... and it had been well over an hour and a half since they had told me that.. freaking BS. I want to cancel this stupid one-way flight that was somehow booked and never want anything to do with Spirit Airlines again!!!!! How are they in business?!!! And! Why did priceline let only half of my "Roundtrip" flight booking with them be booked behind the scenes and then not be able to help me?! I will not only NEVER use Spirit Airlines in the future - but I will also NEVER USE PRICELINE AGAIN!!! And I will tell everyone I know. Such a headache.

I know my Title sounds like a Spammy McTrollbot, but Priceline is actually really fast and easy to use. I promise you i'm not a robot. It is the go to app I use for my Touring business and helping my business when I'm short on cars. It's easy to differentiate from different companies and offers. So I'm sending nice totally not robotic review here honestly in hopes that I stop receiving the email surveys about how great the experience was. It was great all times. A few times I had to wait for cars for an hour or more, but that was the car company's and that's not Priceline's fault. They are just the messenger. I even checked I'm not a robot at the bottom of the submission page. Blake

I booked a Hotel on Priceline. The price they quoted to me said it included all taxes and fees. When I arrived at the hotel, exhausted after driving 10 hours, they wouldn't give me a room without paying an additional $61 in resort fees. I called Priceline from the hotel and they said that they would reimburse me for the $61. They never did, despite me spending several hours of wasted time on the phone with them. I would never use them again. You're better off booking direct with a hotel; they might be more honest and disclose fees.

Bad customer. I wrote to y'all 'cause I haven't received a return receipt and amount of final charges. So I writing to them and all they sent was a itinerary of the day of pick not the receipt I asked for. Looks like they never get receipt when they shop.

I made a reservation through Priceline express deals, the price illustration from Priceline shows $217.00 charged by Priceline and $48.97 resort fee to be charged by hotel with total of $239.93 after applying the promo code. However, when checking in, the hotel charged me other fee 56,49$, I asked them refund for the extra fees. They don't want to answer to my request.
