I booked a flight through Priceline to Atlanta with my son. We were ultimately travelling about 50 miles outside of Atlanta. I selected the car rental option through Priceline and paid for the rental with THRIFTY. When I arrived in Atlanta at 9PM and went to the car rental desk the yelled at everyone on the line, "We are closing and have no more cars... If you paid for your reservation already through a third party agency, call them and get a refund". We had to take a Uber to our final destination and find a rental there. I then had to call Priceline three times over a week to get a refund finally. How can I trust Priceline or Thrifty in the future.

I went to Puerto Rico in March. While booking everything on their app I was told I could rent a car for $7 a day. I took the offer. When I got there the car was filthy inside and out and I was charge almost $500 for insurance and fees. I was also told if I left the city of San Juan, I would be charge an extra $100 a day because the car was being tracked. I report all this to Priceline and sent pic and I was told it's nothing they can do. I said, "If I report something thru PayPal and it's not what the seller offered they give me my money back not saying you're them but you should be able to do something." They says they would escalate the situation but nothing was ever done.

Do NOT, I repeat, Do NOT ever do business with this shady company. They will not stand behind you no matter your circumstances. Once they have your money, you are nothing to them. Emergency medical procedures, funerals, and anything of the sort does not matter to them. They even tried to blame the hotel, but I called the hotel and spoke to 3 people including a supervisor and they asked me to call Priceline and have them reach out to the Hotel and ask for them by name and they would approve a refund. Priceline still won't budge. Don't get SCAMMED! Stay far away from this company and any subsidiary they own (Booking.com). Never again.

When booking a flight on Priceline the option of seat selection is offered. I selected seats at a quoted price of $139.50. When I received my confirmation I was told the seats were not available. I was given a refund on $25.00. It is not possible to speak with an agent. Email or Chat is not possible. The flight was confirmed immediately, followed by the notice of unavailability of seats and refund. This is fraud. There is a reason you are not able to contact Priceline. I will never go through them again. Consumer beware.

Priceline is not a reputable company. Customers must be made aware of the full on reluctance and blatant disrespect of our hard earned money. The company's third-party booking services is a money grab, so be vigilant if you decide to use this so-called- 'service provider'. The communication is egregious with unfair policies. The companies agents are unhelpful, so don't bother to call. I booked 1 night and cancelled less than 1 hour due to circumstances beyond my control. There was a safety issue with UA. Flight delayed almost 10 hours. Priceline did not offer a solution, they did not offer a compromise, they did not offer a courtesy for up to 1 year to honour the booking such as a gift card...nothing. The company simply wanted to take my money.

Even the hotel that was booked was willing to compromise with their cancellation policy. As far as consumers are concerned, third party booking agents are always a risk. There needs to be more regulations where they are concerned. Airlines are already getting away with all these obscene hikes in their airfare, then we have to contend with booking agents who also use this to take advantage. Something must be done, starting with Priceline. I've never heard one good thing about the company's services. Not one.

More regulation and accountability needs to be enacted. The policies are unfair and downright robbery. Emergencies with airlines happens all too often, delays upon delays. Priceline needs to take these occurrences into consideration pertaining to the company's so-called refund or cancellation policy. Consumers are suffering. And where would companies, such as Priceline be without that? Where is the line? Offer solutions and stop creating more angry consumers.

Come to find out they input the dates incorrectly for my hotel and shorted us an entire day so we had nowhere to go the last day of our stay. I was told by Priceline that it was my responsibility to make sure THEY put the right dates in for my entire stay. So as a customer I can not rely on Priceline to do what they say they will do and to back their deal. I also paid for insurance through Allianz Global Assistance to make sure I was covered on my trip and they literally were no help. Highly suggest you don’t use this company. And when they called it was already 8:30 at night the night of the reservation and they wanted me to pay more to be able to still have a room somewhere else. And then when I said I couldn't because I didn't have any more money they offered me $20 in addition to my refund which isn't going to get here for 3 days. Please don't use Priceline if you want to guaranteed room for the night or if you want your reservation to actually mean anything. Does Priceline doesn't guarantee you a room even if you pay in advance. You'll end up sleeping in a car with only an extra 20 bucks and your money not even return to you on the spot.

For example, I was told that I could cancel up until the 15th but the fine print said up until 12 AM on the 15th which makes no sense at all. That’s essentially the 14th. they made me jump through a whole bunch of hoops but still wouldn’t cancel a reservation more than 24 hours before check-in, without charge. DON’T TRUST these guys.

I was there 5 minutes. The representative from Priceline apologize that the hotel did not meet my standards. Like my standards were so high that I couldn't sleep with roaches. Come on man. I was told by the clerk that I can have a full refund. All Priceline would have to do is call him and verify. The employee named Gabriel was extremely rude and refused to call the hotel to verify that I can have a full refund.

The hotel before this in downtown Dallas air conditioner was not working all night long. I was told by Priceline I would get a 15% discount on my next hotel. Turned out it was this roach motel and I got 5% discount not 15. I ended up losing it all. I will never use Priceline. We were told we could lock in this 35% discount by paying now. So we did. When we picked up our rental car at the Bangor International Airport on 7/26/23, Avis told us to contact Priceline for a reimbursement because the actual total was only $1,280.72.

We contacted Priceline.com and requested the reimbursement of $307.42 and they said Avis should not have told us what they would have charged! What? Avis was wrong for telling us we had been overcharged!?! I don't think so! Priceline was clearly in the wrong for overcharging us! They still refuse the reimbursement. Priceline. The people that work at priceline are incompetent, heartless monsters. I deserve a full refund for what they did to me. On sept 9, I booked a room at Extended Stay America. It was particularly important that you understand I booked this room specifically to relax before a very stressful event taking place on the following Monday. At 8 pm Sept 9, I received an email that said “extend your stay for only $62”. I was thrilled as I didn't have much money, and I really needed the extra day to sleep in, and relax as I have Crohn’s disease.

When i clicked the link, it would misdirect me to another site entirely. So I made a phone call and spoke with a man named Louis. I asked him to extend my reservation for a second night for the price I was offered in the email. He took all my information, including my money - $77 to be exact. Charged my card and gave me a confirmation number. The next day at the lobby, the manager of the hotel informed me Louis had made a drastic error. He reserved me for a room at an ENTIRELY DIFFERENT HOTEL. This was terrible. The managers of both hotels spoke with each other agreeing to cancel the reservation due to the late cancellation policy, but priceline did not care.

I called customer service at 1030 am, right before I was about to be kicked out of my room. I was sick, vomiting and other personal things related to Crohn’s disease, yet I had to wait for priceline to call me back, and once they did they told me over and over again there was nothing that could be done. “Sorry for the inconvenience but there's nothing we can do.” Their only solution was to give me a refund and for me to make new reservation. This was unacceptable as I would not have the refund immediately to make another reservation. I spent my last bit of money to extend that reservation.

While on the phone with them I explained how severe it was that I needed to be in a room immediately. That this was THEIR FAULT. Louis put me in the wrong hotel and charged me. I then had to stand outside my hotel in the rain while I argued with priceline that they were ** me” because they were. They had made an error. Refused to fix it. And refused to help a sick person in need. Their response was “Ma'am we do not tolerate that profanity”. Well, I don't tolerate people who lack sympathy. Especially when it's their fault. Priceline should have taken full responsibility and got me a reservation at the hotel I was already at, as they should have done in the first place.

After that customer service agent was of no help, I asked to talk to their supervisor. After explaining i was suffering from a chronic flare up, her answer was “I will escalate this and have a resolution in about 24 hours.” Again, this was unacceptable. Pleading with priceline I BEGGED this supervisor to try and understand just how bad this hurt me physically. But they did not care. There was nothing that could be done. LUCKILY, the manager at extended stay gave me time to remove my things and helped me get an early check in at the other hotel.

JUST as I was about to hang up with priceline, they said “okay well we are going to just cancel the reservation” and again I had to say! "WHAT, NO, NOW I HAVE TO GET EVERYTHING I'VE TRAVELED WITH AND FIND TRANSPORTATION TO THE WRONG HOTEL YOU PUT ME IN TODAY." I don't understand why after telling me over and over there's nothing that can be done and my only actual option was to move to the other hotel they would then suggest cancelling it. The lack of empathy is pathetic. The lack of accountability is garbage. This is the WORST company I have ever spoken to on the phone regarding customer service.

Once i finally got my stuff moved and over to the other hotel, the hotel priceline moved me into was MUCH worse. I was so disappointed. I was so sick. And I will never use priceline as long as I live. And to the people talking to me that day, you never really know what a person is going through, so you really should starting owning your mistakes and start treating customers with respect. I don't think even if I had died from the amount of stress this added to my already stressful life they would have even blinked. I deserve my $77 back. And a VERY deep apology.

So they are scammer and don’t honor their own system. If they promise full refund by. Certain time then I don’t understand why I wasn’t issued a refund in the proper time and instead of helping me the supervisor hung up on me, claiming she can’t do anything about it even though I was calling in the time duration that was allowed. However, this is the second time I have been suggested to wait on booking, booked a “flexible cancellation” room, and then when one slightly closer to my destination (that was actually going to be more expensive) or due to a flight issue have been told that I cannot cancel the reservation. A reservation I had made not even an hour earlier with the reason being due to it being less than 24 hours from check in.

I understand that is a policy, but if it is still advertised as flexible when I make the reservation, which is within that 24 hour window, then I should still have that flexibility to some extent. It is a blatant example of false advertising. I will most likely not be using this service again as it does not value the human element of planning nor does it seem to have the capacity to work with its customers when events outside our control occur. A small fee or the first day's fee would be unreasonable with the timeframe, but not a complete refusal of refund for a week long stay.

First the daily rental charged was $34.99 instead of $27.65 as quoted. Then Dollar gave me 3 options and I picked the basic option of coverage. They did not give me the option of opting out. Ended up adding another $19.98. Then they sold us the Toll Charges package for $27.98 when we absolutely encountered no toll at all. We tried to call on the first day but were never able to talk to an agent about these charges.

We decided to go back to the rental at the airport (as there is no other Dollar Car Rental in the city). There was a line of about 40 people waiting for 2 agents at 3:30pm, probably about a 2+ hours wait. We left and came back at 6:30pm, there were still about 30+ people in line. We had to give up the appeal. I would never rent from Dollar Car Rental again with such poor and deceptive service. Priceline can do better in protecting their customers.

I was traveling to Louisville to spend the weekend and then pick up my car rental to head to business in Georgetown KY. I booked my flights and car rental through Priceline. Two days before picking up my car at 4 PM I attempted to change the pick up time by 4 hours to 12 noon. Through chats, both Thrifty and Priceline told me that the other Company would have to change the reservation.

Ultimately I chatted more with Priceline and they told me that they could not adjust the time. I also called Priceline Customer Support and they verified that they could not change the pick up time by 4 hours. Most disappointing is that both Companies pointed the finger at the other company as the one I needed to go through. Ultimately it was Priceline who lied repeatedly through the chat (which I have). It’s bad enough that they could not adjust by 4 hours two days ahead, but to Lie several times leading me on a two hour wild goose chase is Pathetic. Take Ownership, Priceline!

I lost 3K through Priceline during the pandemic. I had booked a flight for my husband and myself to the UK, planning on a summer vacation, but had to cancel because of Covid. Priceline promised they'd hold the funds for me and I could rebook at any time. They didn't put any time stipulations on it. We're finally in a position where we can travel again, so I checked my Priceline account. They didn't have any record of it. I contacted them twice and they told me to contact the airline. I contacted the airline and they told me to contact Priceline. Priceline says they can't help me, so essentially all the money I put towards this vacation is gone. I would use extreme caution booking anything in advance through Priceline in these uncertain times because they will take your money and won't give you anything in return.

Your team took zero responsibility whatsoever and said it's up to the hotel to decide if they'll issue a refund, which to date they have not. I haven't used Priceline in years, and this is a true display as to why you are a terrible company - no responsibilty for what you promote whatsoever, even when it's a major safety concern. Priceline are thieves! I booked a refundable standard room (at a higher price) and a few days later asked to upgrade to a nicer room. These people said they can’t and I would have to cancel the original booking at a penalty that is 1/2 the cost and then make a second booking for the room I actually want. The prices are not discounted…They are actually higher than most other sites so it's not like I got a good deal to begin with. Despite it all, I stayed loyal to have some status with Priceline but I have always lost money or had some sort of issue with their policy every time I book with them.

I ask if I can get refund if we check out. I’m told I have to go through Priceline. I call them and told they need to call hotel. Manager isn’t in so will need to call back in 30 minutes. I call back same thing. Call back so I wait 3 hours. Call back and placed on hold.

I call hotel from husband phone. Mgr is out sick but she is okayed my refund. Call Priceline back and tell them it’s been approved. They will need to call me back. 2 hours later I’m told that it’s worked out and I will get email with details the next day. I then get email that I’m not getting a refund. So hotel got to get paid twice for one night. I could of let our friends stay there. They are smokers. It’s the worst experience. I will never use this company again.

Called the hotel and canceled. Get my credit card bill and was charged for reservation. Called Priceline and was told that they didn’t have any record of my reservation and or cancellation. Then was told I had to call a “third party“ number. I called and was told that I didn’t cancel with Priceline and it was beyond the 24-hour time frame and that it states that in the policy on website. So after giving all my information with booking and hotel cancellation I still do not have a resolution.

Please save yourself aggravation and do not book with this company. In their policy, it does not mention using a third party to book reservations. The customer service experience was the worst I had with a travel company. Calling, you wait ...then you get someone who can’t help you. When you let them know that you’re frustrated, they do not say... "Let me see if I can connect you with someone who can." They tell you that you need to contact the third party...but you must ask for the number. It’s not automatically given to you. Time wasted on this was over 4 hours.

There is a group of car rental (FOX, ACE, EUROPCAR, EASIRENT, Route car rental), all from the same hub, located 2301 Nw 33rd ave Miami, Florida) advertised by priceline.com, it is a major scam and MISLEADING PROCESS, WITH HIDDEN FEES, AND SURPRISE COST WHEN PICKING UP THE CAR,

So there our experience, as the price is really low like, 335$ for 10 days, For a Nissan ROGUE and we can lock the price by pre-paying which we did. I look at the review but those are review on priceline they were all good, So I book for my french cousins that were visiting from France the car, thinking that was a great deal.

Booking was simple, we received a email confirmation. I at that time I thought it was just a confirmation, so we didn't read all the term and the little lines. I was thinking we are all good. Drive there to pick up the car, we need it the car because they wanted to leave next morning for reservation on the west coast, at the counter they tell us we have to purchase liability and third party damage insurance, after long argument they agree to take our third party damage insurance from the credit card we use, but we had to translate the credit card insurance contract for them, after making us sign-in our life away in case of damage that was ok.

Then they ask us to purchase the liability insurance that if 450$, and since liability is required in Florida we can't rent us a car if we don't purchase that insurance, so we said we like to cancel the reservation, they said if we cancel we lose the payment we have made of 335$ not refundable!! So running out of time, and option we got stuck renting a car that was 50,000 miles with seat stained, the roof liner stained, not really cleaned, out the door with the sunpass and insurance 965$!! 3 time the price for that price you can rent with budget, dollar, enterprise, and get a better deal.

Rental fubar. Hello, I'm texting this message because I paid a lot of money for a service that wasn’t fulfilled. let me start by saying I’m handicapped and walk with a cane. I booked a reservation over three months ago and when I received the itinerary the rental car agency was not identified by name. I contacted the rental car company by phone to get pick up instructions the day before my travel and notified them of my flight coming in At 8:36pm. When I arrived at the airport I was transported to the baggage claim area by wheelchair and was told by airline transport they could not go to rental car area. After walking at least 1/4 mile with cane and baggage I had to take a train to the rental car area.

Once I arrived at the rental car area I attempted to call the number listed on the itinerary and the phone kept disconnecting. This was around 9:41 pm. I called Priceline customer care and they attempted to contact the rental car company unsuccessfully. After the customer care agent told me she was unable to reach them I was told the only thing they could do is give me the address. At that point I asked for a supervisor and they attempted contact the rental car company with no success. The supervisor told me the only thing they could do is cancel the reservation and reimburse me. I would have to reserve another a rental. I told him that was unacceptable because I paid Priceline for a service and the service was not being fulfilled. While all this back and forth was going on the rental agency closed at 10pm.

At this point I realized was stuck in the airport with no rental. By this time it was 10:45 PM and I had no transportation to my hotel. After realizing the rental car agency had closed and my rental issue would not be resolved I had to make arrangements for alternate transportation so I could get to my hotel. The next morning I was still unable to contact the rental car agency. Every time I call the numbers listed it took me through several prompts and then the phone disconnected. The two numbers I attempted to reach them at are 1 800 267-7993 and 1 954 998-7441.

At this point I'm in a hotel 11.5 miles away from the rental car agency making arrangements for transportation to the agency. I’m not sure if the rental agency is even open because they're not answering calls and I’m questioning the decisions I have to make for transportation when I paid to have it all arranged for me. After making arrangements for transportation I found out the the company moved from the address listed. A piece of paper on the door of the old address provided the new address.

Once I arrived at the new address I was told my reservation was canceled and they didn’t have a rental for me. Once again I paid these guys a lot of money to make my travel arrangements and their customer support team did nothing to completely accommodate or fulfill the service I paid for. I did receive an email from Priceline say it would take up to 10 days after I closed out my travel with them. If I pay you for a service and the travel arrangements are not being fulfilled then what’s your purpose because it’s definitely not convenience and because you inconvenienced me when I trusted you at this point I’m convinced you’ll never get my business again!!! Poor, poor, poor customer service.

I was making a reservation for 1 night with the ** Inn at Columbus airport as I am flying out of the state in 5 days, at 0700 in the morning. I made a reservation for 1 night but when I got the confirmation it was for 2 nights; why would I book a room for a night that I will not be in the state to use? This is not my first-time booking vacation plans online and I discovered this irregularity immediately as I always check my confirmations and save them for later use. I tried to take the 2nd day off within minutes (seconds) of the booking, but the website would not let me make modifications, only "cancelations" which would cost me 1 night's fee!

I immediately called the customer service number to be told this same thing. I was then hung up on by the customer service rep who after talking for 5 minutes with me, said she could not tell if anyone was on the line when I could hear her fine. It also sounded like a party was going on behind her, maybe that's why she couldn't hear me?

I then called the ** Inn directly and was told that they could not change the reservation, but Priceline could: it was at that time that I was informed that my booking had gone through Priceline, not their website; somehow, I had been redirected to Priceline? I called Priceline back and I was told again that it would cost me 1 night's fee to change the reservation which is pointless. The rep also told me that the ** Inn can make changes to my reservation and that they would be responsible for refunding me my money for the canceled night.

I called the Inn back and they told me that was not correct. I was also informed by the Inn employee that Priceline does this a lot, and it is frustrating as people get angry with them, but they are not the ones messing up bookings and stealing people's money. Instead of going back and forth between the 2 customer services, I booked a room directly with the ** Inn for the same price that Priceline was charging, and I have the security of being able to cancel or modify with no charges up to 24 hours before arrival.

I fully cancelled my reservation with Priceline and reported them to my credit card company for predatory practices, fraudulent charges, and I am getting my money returned while they investigate. What I learned here: Don't use Priceline, ever. What Priceline learned here: Nothing. Conclusion: Anyone who uses Priceline is a fool as you can get rooms for the same rates directly with hotels without being price gauged for website glitches.

After many phone calls, on holds, I was then told that Priceline would just issue me a refund and that I would get it in 5 to 10 business days. When that didn't happen, I called and was told that I did not qualify for a refund, but they would issue me a voucher, and that a Superior rep would call me back in 5-7 business days.

I told them I would not have time to book & use my voucher as I would be a few weeks out from my date to use my voucher by. I asked about an extension on my voucher deadline, of course it was No. We all know I'm not going to get a call. They just lie so you hang up with them & string you along until you give up or your deadline expires. Only book through them if you have a lot of time on your hands, don't mind being on hold & don't mind being lied to constantly.

A glitch in the system caused my return flight to be scheduled a month later than needed. The return flight is not able to be changed. The hotel dates are correctly booked for a few days. I cannot very well stay in a city for over a month with no place to stay which makes the entire trip unusable but I still have to pay for it. I purchased the travel insurance but it doesn’t cover Priceline’s system errors. Apparently neither does Priceline. I spent hours trying to sort it out and offered to pay a fee to both Priceline and United. They cannot change or cancel the flight I booked 2 days ago that goes in the air over a month from now even for a fee. I’m not trying to get ANYTHING free. I’ve offered to pay for their mistake and still they refuse to help.

I booked a flight for me and my 2 kids, to arrive to our cruise that was also booked on Priceline. The service representative using my priceline account and my billing name booked three seats, all as children, one for my daughter, one for my son and a third for my son but added a middle name and used my birth date and my email, which is my full name. When I saw the error and called they said that they could not change the name on the ticket. I ask for a supervisor, and they said that they would send me a email in 5 day to make a determination. My flight leaves in 10 days. How the service representative managed to book three children tickets without an adult, and book 2 seats for the same 12 year old child that was born in 1958, with a email address that is a total mismatch to the name and adding a middle name to the duplicate seat so the reservation would process the duplication is inconceivable.

The only offer by the service representative was to cancel the flight. I could hear babies crying in the background and the rep telling me what I did wrong. All I wanted was a data entry error correction so I could fly with my kids. I called Alaska Airlines, talked to someone whose first language was English and they booked me 3 seats on the same flight, canceled the messed up booking, and even got us the same seats next to the friends we were traveling with! The increase of cost 10 days before my flight, 2%. Why would I ever use priceline again?

We were called week later and 12 days before we were scheduled to depart that they were sold out (I think they overbooked). Called price line to get my money back. They wanted to charge me $100 for canceling a booking that they were sold-out on and still booked, they gave me a chance to booked another cruise line but at double the price (talk about upselling you). Priceline claim we booked the vacation for 2024. If that's was the case why would they call us and say they were sold out. Priceline said they called the cruise line to verify that they called us and basically said we lied about them calling us to cancel.

After over an hour on the phone 3 representatives and one manager name Unisis who did not care about a bad review I was out $100 and $25 fee they charge and now have to wait up to 60 days for my money. Great. There goes my vacation and days I took off work that I'm not getting back THANKS A LOT PRICELINE. Again this company does not care about you. Just how much money they can take out of your pocket. Guess that's why almost 50% (47% to be exact) of customers gave them a one start rating. Well here is a new one for you priceline. ZERO RATING. My family of five recently had the unfortunate experience of booking our tickets through Priceline, and it turned out to be an absolute nightmare from start to finish. The troubles began when we carefully selected our seats during the booking process, only to find out later that Priceline had failed to secure them in their system. Despite reaching out to them for confirmation, the issue persisted until just two days before our flight when the seats were still missing. Priceline's reassurance was nothing but false hope, and it became clear that they were not capable of delivering on their promises.

As if that wasn't enough, another major issue arose when we contacted Priceline regarding our fifth family member, our child, who had somehow been left off the voucher. Priceline assured us that this wouldn't be a problem, but when we arrived at the hotel, we were shocked to find that our child wasn't on the reservation. The hotel's "solution" was to reverse the voucher and add the third person to our second room, which was completely impractical and inconvenient for our family. The most shocking part was Priceline's refusal to take responsibility for their mistake or offer any meaningful assistance. Instead, they left us to deal with the situation on our own, resulting in an additional out-of-pocket expense of $1300 USD.

Throughout this entire ordeal, dealing with Priceline was an incredibly frustrating and unpleasant experience. Their lack of accountability and failure to address the issues they caused left us feeling like we were on our own to navigate the mess they had created. As a customer, I expected better service and support from a reputable travel booking platform like Priceline, but they fell far short of meeting even the most basic expectations.

In conclusion, I strongly advise others to be cautious when considering Priceline for their travel arrangements. Our family's experience serves as a warning that their customer service and reliability are severely lacking. It's essential to be aware of the potential risks and be prepared to handle any unforeseen problems that may arise if you choose to book through Priceline. Based on our terrible encounter, I cannot recommend using Priceline and would advise exploring alternative options to ensure a smoother and stress-free travel experience for your family.

This hotel was roach infested and when I brought it up to the front desk the lady proceeded to give me a can of roach spray for me to kill them myself, not to mention that the entire building has a very musty smell including the sheets. A dirt ring in the bathtub, this hotel should NOT be offered until these issues have been resolved. When Priceline contacted the manager of the hotel for a refund, the manager denied any refund and Priceline was not able to compensate me either. They offered a 20% off coupon for next time. At this point I will not be using Priceline ever again. It’s disgusting and unsanitary.

I had booked my family vacation to Hawaii thru Priceline. Everything was paid and we flow to Hawaii with no issues. The day before we are going to be returning when I go and check-in to my flight with United, I get a notification that no reservation. I call United to see what is going on. They inform me that the travel company will be able to explain. So, I reached out to Priceline to see what is going on. They claim that I have disputed my flight home. So, I asked them who did they speak with? They say they don’t know. I ask them, "Did you send out a cancellation email or text?" They said they are not sure. I asked them what credit card number. They said, "Not sure."

So, I call my credit card company asking them do they see a dispute on file from United or Priceline and they say, "You have no such activated on your account." So, at this time I have no flight back home and it's 8pm at night. After calling Priceline back and getting hold of a manager by the name of Gendal employee number **. She said that she checked, and Priceline was the one who canceled the flight. So, she instructed me to book any flight home and send over the receipts and they will refund the money.

I asked, "Are you sure I will get my money back?" And she said, "Yes. I have noted everything and our call is being recorded." So, to make the issue easy I went to Priceline and called and worked with account rep Cruz to find flights home for me and my family. At midnight we were able to find flights home that will take us 15 hours to get from Hawaii to Los Angeles for total of $4,800.00. Today I reached out to see what the process is to get my money back they said that, "We are denying your request and you have disputed the original flight home."

Again, I reached out to my credit card company, and they have no records showing anything being disputed or refunded to my account. So now I have spent $5,000 plus on my original package and additional $4,800 for flight home total of almost $10,000. Shame on them for putting my family thru this and having no answer but to hang up the phone and having no records showing that who and when canceled or disputed my flight home.

(Laguardia Airport). We chose our seats because we were traveling with Children and wanted to make sure we could sit with them, so there was an extra cost of $64.00. The morning of our flight, we received an email saying that our flight was cancelled and they rebooked us on a flight that would have taken us to Pittsburgh one day and NY the next day and to JFK airport not Laguardia. We went to the airport and was able to get a same day flight NY, still with a layover in Pittsburgh and to Laguardia Airport. We were not able able to pick our seats however, but were able to sit at lease by one child.

When I called Priceline today to ask for a refund of the $64.00 since we did not have the convenience of choosing our seats. After an hour on the phone with Priceline they still would not refund the convenience fee because American gave us a new, even though not practical, flight. Priceline is the worst and we will never use them again. And I am telling all my friends and family. They lost us because they are inconsiderate and do not care about anyone but their $$$.

My experience began before Jane actually. But I would say it was all horrible. Just horrible. In short, I bought a ticket to fly from London to Toronto return. I bought it within the 24 hour cancellation period. This is important because during this period Priceline hold onto your payment in case you cancel. Makes total sense. When I initially called the first operator that dealt with me she explained that during the 24 hour cancellation period the funds are not released to the airline as I could claim the funds because it is during the cancellation period. This made complete sense again. She further explained that the 24 hour period was EST, I had bought the ticket in London, where I was GMT.

Effectively, this would mean my flight was leaving before the cancellation period was ending, British Airways would not get the payment in time. This would further mean the funds would be released after the flight was meant to leave. I spent over 2 hours on the phone and with BA reps. The initial operator spoke to the BA attendant herself who explained the funds had not been released to them so the ticket could not be released to me. The initial operator put me through to a supervisor. I got cut off twice. By the time a supervisor and I connected she denied that the cancellation policy was the case and argued that it was BA’s responsibility as the payment went through. She also denied that there had ever been a conversation with anyone about a cancellation policy. The third supervisor then suggested I was speaking to a BA rep and we were on a 3 way call.

As I stood in front of the BA rep I asked I realized I was still speaking to a Priceline rep on the phone who reiterated that it was BA’s problem. At this point it was clear Priceline was not going to accept responsibility. I was just short of 20 minutes before the cancellation policy would expire and so had to cancel my flight so that I didn’t lose my money. Here is what got me…obviously Priceline had the funds because I got an immediate refund. The problem is many things, it was my son's birthday, the first I have missed in 20 years, I had to rebook a new flight, it cost me more and had to spend an additional night in London. Mistakes happen, I can deal with that, but it was the blatant denials and the inability to accept the massive inconvenience I was caused that I won’t soon forget. I will be leaving a rating to say the same thing I have said here on every site I can find.

I book Priceline for hotels throughout my stay in London I booked my hotels through Priceline even after this sorry affair. I have used Priceline over many years. This I will say, was the worst service I have ever experienced online. The absolute inability of the supervisors to take responsibility for what is clearly a glitch that can be resolved, was appalling. The initial operator even provided a timeline of when the cancellation would clear. The supervisor absolutely denied it. I hated this experience and everyone I know will be hearing about it.

In March of 2023 I booked a family vacation for my family to Orlando Fl for a few days in July. I was looking for a way to not break the bank so my family of 7 would enjoy the entirety of this trip. So I bundled the flights, hotel and car rental all in one with Priceline thinking I got a deal. Boy was I wrong. Let’s start day 1. We get to the car rental place and they ask for a $500 deposit on a credit card, I didn’t have a credit card with that high of limit. I know not great on my part, but I paid for the car up front with my debit card. Oh and they don’t take debit supposedly. So basically my family was screwed! All 7 of us waiting on the side of a road for an Uber. My issue with this was on Priceline’s website the link said no credit card needed. So my family and I decided to go through Turo, which I have now had to come out of pocket over $500 for a last min rental. No talk of a refund on Priceline’s end even after a 25 min conversation with them.

Day 2 my family and I are at Universal Studios and I get a notification that my bank account was below zero. I look to see what happened and see that the hotel has now charged me $749! Again, I paid everything upfront in March! So now I’m at an amusement park with my family and no money to spare. I call my bank first to get the charge reversed, they advise to call the hotel so I call them, in turn, they advised me to call Priceline. Priceline obviously does not communicate with any of these companies and they just rob you of your money or they simply don’t care. I have done my best to stay patient and calm in this whole ordeal but obviously sitting on a negative bank account will take its toll.

This was in April of 2023, Priceline has yet to provide any apology, reimbursement of their misleading advertised free shutttle service at this particular hotel or may be others as well.

I honestly cannot believe that after asking them to listen to the recorded conversation between myself and the Priceline agent, Priceline still refused to do anything except check with the hotel which turned up nothing. So, I am out 46 euros converted to my Canadian dollar is almost more than my stay the hotel. I highly do not recommend using Priceline to book your stay which should be a happy positive stay.

Booked a room strictly because Priceline stated they had a fitness room and a pool on premises. Once they have my money, checked in and no reasonable chance of getting another room elsewhere at 1am. I find out there was neither a pool nor a fitness room. I've recently had neck fusion surgery where after traveling I need a pool to soak in and need a cardio exercise to keep myself loose, so my neck doesn't lock up on me. So I book places with a pool and fitness room for a exact reason. They would not refund me the money for the room because I stayed the night.

First off, what am I to do? Pay for a room and sleep in my car? And 2nd what the hell does that have to do with you pieces of garbage lying to your customers about the hotel? Doesn't matter if I stayed 2 seconds or 2 years. You're lying to your customers and charging a higher rate based on amenities that aren't at this hotel. Then the guy smugly implies I didn't really book the place just for those 2 things. You arrogant participation pissant. Don't you dare try turning this on me. Then insulted me with a 20% refund. At that point it's not the money. It's the principle and being a decent human being. So I told him to shove that 20% up his **. Reporting them to the Better Business Bureau. This is the way they respect the hard working people that make their business, purely despicable. We all should boycott these horrible people and their business.

I rented a vehicle for 9 days. On the first evening, the car was broken into and the driver's side window was broken. Hertz towed the vehicle to their facility. Hertz refused to provide a replacement vehicle and refused to refund the remaining 8 days. They said Priceline would need to do that. Priceline also refuses to refund the money. So I paid for 9 days and only received less than 1 day.

To start I paid Priceline for 1 room, they booked a completely different room. 480$ cheaper than what I paid for. I spent 6.5 hrs of my honeymoon trying to get Priceline to fix the mistake they made. After being hung up on. Not called back. And being tired of trying to coordinate their job with the resort I have up. Out hundreds and my honeymoon ruined. I was promised answers from supervisors and managers. Still haven’t revived an email or a phone call.

While booking this trip, their website never completed my reservation with this 1st hotel. I waited 5 minutes with the spinning icon, so I closed that window and booked another hotel. That reservation went through instantaneously. I was surprised to get an email later, confirming the first hotel, that NEVER went through. It then wouldn't allow me to cancel. It was their system's malfunction, not mine. I called Priceline and the representative was completely useless and did nothing to help me fix the problem.

How can I stay at 2 hotels at the same time? Additionally, I wasted endless time attempting to cancel with the Cypress Pointe Resort in Orlando. (Warning) Loop after loop, transfer after transfer, and I never managed to get ahold of anyone who could help after their dismal front desk transferred me. An unbelievable waste of time. I'm actually relieved to have not stayed there because it clearly would have been a problem, had I. The Hampton Inn was wonderful and worked out perfectly. It seems That Cypress Pointe Resort makes their money off of scamming uncancelable reservations like the one that happened to me.

I was forced to dispute the unused room with my credit card and was not surprised to hear that they have "lots" of these issues with Priceline and Cypress Pointe Resort in Orlando. It's a shame to not take care of your customers. They could have easily fixed the problem and either refunded me or had the Hotel cancel my reservation that was over 2 weeks in advance, or, absorb the small loss and remove them from their platform.

I am extremely disappointed with Priceline and have yet to leave all of my reviews warning others of the situation I was put in by Priceline. It is beyond repair at this point and now I am going to warn others before they encounter the same situation. A reasonable company would help their customers, not rip them off. At least, if it was me. Sincerely, Mr. Don't get ripped off!

I've had the worst experience with this site. I suggest you go directly to the airlines because it's the same prices. I was traveling July 13, 2023 and had an injury which resulted in a surgery 2 days before traveling. They had me calling them and delta back and forth for hours..No one wanted to help me in getting a refund or credit. Days before travel day and days after I'm still trying to get a solution to this issue. They want to charge $99 cancelation fees per ticket. I would be getting less than $99 in return..It's a rip off..Never again. They suck and I would not use them again.

Please run far away from booking anything with Priceline.com. Don't become a VIP or reserve anything with them. I went to extend my hotel through their app only to find they had the completely wrong dates. My confirmation had the right dates, but the hotel was given the wrong dates. Then when I called to cancel they said I had to call Booking.com which had no idea, then they redirected to another booking company Agoda.com which finally cancelled my hotel. Take a look at the other reviews. There are hundreds of 1 star, that should tell you something.

I wouldn’t suggest anyone book a trip through Priceline.com. This company has no American call centers. I had to reschedule my flight, I called in and the agent booked the wrong month and had me flying from the city I was flying to. I called every week for a year and a month now and I still have not received a refund or ticket. I’ve spoken with 8 escalation supervisors and they have verbally agreed that Priceline was at fault but they refuse to fix it. I’m beyond angry and frustrated.

I called regarding not receiving my itinerary due to them sending it to the wrong email such as they send it to outlook.com vs aol.com. When asked to have it sent to correct email or faxed to me they kept saying they can’t change email. Their recommendation was to call each person the hotel, flight, and car I booked with. When speaking with supervisors they hung up on me twice. They would not let me speak to a higher level manager and refused to provide corporate contact information. They also stated that they could not change or cancel any of my bookings if I wanted to re-enter them. This company is not helpful and should not be selling or advertising anything if they have no control over the bookings. If I could give -stars I would.

I have become a VIP member just because of the number of trips I take. However if there is a problem or a change they can never assist. What good is being a VIP member if you cannot get issues resolved. NEVER prepay with Priceline once they get your money they no longer care to help or correct issues. I will NEVER use this company again. If you are smart don't use them and by all means NEVER prepay.

I booked a flight and had to cancel. I also booked a car from Priceline and cancelled that booking in the time frame of making reservations. I noticed that they never refunded my 43.20. which at that point I called my bank. They reversed the funds twice and Priceline took it back twice. I proceeded to call Priceline again and again on this same matter. They (Priceline) told me to call my bank and they will reverse funds. This went on for 2 months of telling me to call my bank. Needless to say, they will not refund my money and it's BAD BUSINESS. NOT EVEN A CREDIT WAS ISSUED. Please be very careful with Priceline rentals and services. They are not understanding to your issues at hand. This company needs to change their policies and attitudes toward paying customers. Please do not use Priceline if you want peace of mind with spending money.

Title: Disappointing Experience with Priceline's Service

    Rating: ★☆☆☆☆ (1/5)

    Review:

My recent experience with Priceline has been extremely disappointing. I encountered several issues with their service that have left me frustrated and dissatisfied. Firstly, I have been waiting for a refund that Priceline owes me, but they keep pushing back the expected date without providing any valid reasons. This lack of transparency and delay in refund processing has been highly inconvenient and unprofessional.

Adding to the frustration, it appears that Priceline does not keep proper notes of customer interactions. Despite multiple attempts to address my concerns, I have had to repeat the same information each time I contact their customer service. This lack of record-keeping demonstrates a lack of attention to detail and disregard for customer satisfaction.

Furthermore, when I tried to file a complaint against one of their customer representatives, I was met with resistance. Priceline did not provide any avenue for me to address my concerns regarding their representative's behavior or resolve the issue. This unwillingness to acknowledge and rectify their employees' mistakes is unacceptable. Overall, my experience with Priceline has been marred by their poor service, delayed refunds, lack of note-keeping, and unresponsiveness to customer complaints. I would strongly advise against using their services, as they have failed to meet even the basic expectations of a reputable company.
