Fraudulent way to charge is USD even for Canadian travel and don't disclose properly. They don't mention that it's in USD. On the first page they don't mention that the transaction is in USD and falsely trap. They don't even mention clearly anywhere that it's USD but in last summary page they have fine print saying it's USD and you are trapped.

I booked a hotel room for my family of 4 around Grand Canyon for 2 nights. I used Priceline and it guaranteed reservation for 4 people with a double-bed room. When we arrived at the hotel, we were given a single-bed room. After communicating with hotel owner, and seeing the order form from Priceline, it is clear that Priceline submitted our order to the hotel requesting a single-bed room. Actually the double-bed rooms were no longer available according to the hotel owner but Priceline just lied to us that there is still room available.

We have had a hard time to accommodate 4 people in a single bed for two nights. And Priceline spent 4 months to "investigate" the issue and came back saying there is nothing they can do. They did not acknowledge it's their fault and tried to blame the hotel. Further communication with Priceline turned out to be useless with emails only saying there is nothing they can do. So people, please avoid this horrible agent if you want a smooth, enjoyable and surprise-free vacation/booking. They are not even cheaper than other agents or direct sales from the hotels. There is no reason to pay such an agent that only wants to blame its customers or the hotels without taking any accountability.

I searched and booked an all inclusive with flights for 2 adults and 2 kids. I put all our information information in paid. The summary said correct dates times with 4 travelers. I get to the hotel and apparently Priceline only charged me for 2 adults. I had to pay an additional $880 at check in. I called customer service and basically got sorry about your luck. “You should have called and added the additional guest”. So why would I need to add more guests if I already searched what I wanted for 4 people. This place and customer service is a joke and a rip off.

If you’re looking for a trustworthy company to rent a car from.. look somewhere else, because Priceline is nothing but a scam. They tell you one thing on their website, and approve you, but once you get to the office they ask for a million different thing. After hours of providing them with passports, debit cards, credit cards, they tell me I’m not approved. I wasted my time and had to miss a very important meeting. All because I trusted this trash of a company.

Priceline is the worst ! I have booked before. Never had any issues, I made a mistake and booked in the wrong city. Called and tried to get it canceled. This happened last Saturday. This week they are still emailing me telling me they can't get a response from the third party even though the hotel said they would cancel and refund. I will never ever book on this site ever again. I will call the hotel myself. I will continue to use Airbnb like I have been. You all are the absolute worse!

Priceline do not have policies on working with businesses that have been widely agreed on as bad businesses, even those that make false or fraudulent claims about their services and whereabouts. Beware of scammers on this website. I will never make the mistake again of booking a car rental or anything else through them. It did not wind up saving me any money, added a lot of time, and finally required a lot work after the fact to clean up a $400+ charge through my credit card company. Save yourself time and use user verified websites.

Called and booked hotel reservation with Priceline on 3/1/24 at 5pm, a stay at Motel 6. Checked in at 8pm only to find Motel 6 had no record of reservation and were full. I returned to my car and called Priceline help center at 8:15pm. AI system recognized my name and hotel in question. Then turning my case over to Priceline's 'sister company' where I was put on hold for 30 minutes +-. Representative took all my reservation and pin info, putting money hold while they reached out to Motel 6 to resolve my issue. After on hold for 10 minutes, they returned to tell me that Motel 6 wouldn't respond to the 2 contact numbers that they had on file.

The Priceline rep. said only recourse at this point was to send a email to Motel 6 and give them 30 minutes to respond, and after the 30 min. time he would call me and resolve matter by offering me a room at a nearby hotel. I reluctantly had no choice but to wait for his call, ending our conversation. It's now 9:15pm. At 10:20, with no return call, I again call Priceline, who gave me thier sister company, re-explaining my entire situation leading back to this point in time. After apologizing he put me on a brief hold to review everything. After 5 to 10 minutes on hold, my connection with this rep. ended. It's now 10:30pm.

I return call to Priceline, given to sister co., and re-explained everything. This rep. ask that I wait and he will find another room at a different hotel. Several minutes later he located a similar room with a similar price, but I would have to pay the price difference, and then submit an invoice to Priceline, who would then reimburse me.

I responded, "You made me wait nearly 10 minutes while you researched a room, and to tell me to pay a difference, then invoice." I replied, instead of making me wait another 10 minutes while you try to save yourself cost for a different room, at what rating. That he give me a nearest room and not charge the extra. It's now 10:45pm. I'm a Platinum member with Priceline and have been for years. I booked room at 5pm, Checked in at 8pm, sat in my vehicle in a parking lot till 10:45pm. It would have taken another 30 to 45 minutes had I took next step. I instead slept in my car. Not sure what to do next.

They will not give you any kind of refund or compensation or work with you at all whatsoever. They got me for a rental car I never used and a hotel that I never used. I called immediately when I knew I wasn't going to be able to fulfill my reservation and they were supposed to check back with the hotel the following morning which they never did and I had to call back in myself to prompt them to call the hotel and by that time the reservation had already been done and because of that I wasn't allotted a refund at all for any of it and they assume no responsibility.

They charged the round trip tickets but I have to cancel the tickets because I already booked from other companies. It’s a very confusing company. I asked for my refund but after almost one year from May 2023, I still have to phone them every other week to beg for my money back. They keep telling me they just sent the refund but I never seen it to my account. Until today there is no refund to my account that they charged me for wrong tickets. If there is a zero star I would give minus. They don’t deserve a business. They should be bankrupt soon.

York Car Rental had no cars whatsoever available when we arrived and even refused to send the shuttle to pick us up at the Airport (leaving us stranding with a baby and kids). And to top that, here it is day 15 and we still have not received our refunds. I have called Priceline 3 times only to be told that they didn't get a response from their email and they will have to send another email. Really - day 15? and this is the response. Priceline is not a reliable app, they will steal your money if they can. I was looking for a hotel to spend the night in New Hampshire and for some reason the booked was placed in Massachusetts. When I saw the state I called right away and their answer was: "yes we called the hotel but couldn't get on hold of the manager, the front desk told us that it would be ok to cancel but they needed the approval of the manager." They also said that next day it will be resolve. They were also going to help me to make the reservation in New Hampshire, and there is the prove that I stayed at other hotel that same night. This is not fair when you make the called right away and explain what happened and there is also prove that you sleep somewhere else using their app.. $380 that went to the garbage just because they didn't want to help.

This is sad and painful to know that they don't care about the customer. Call the next day and the next and today Monday February 19th 2024, they said that, "The cancellation was not approved, we are very sorry. Bye." Won't use this app anymore. I was liking it very much, I used this app for flights, hotels and car and didn't have any complaints. But now with this that just happened I can say that this one is not different from the others. Thumbs down.

I have had multiple bad experiences with Priceline. In 2021 they cancelled my booking but would not cancel my flight. So after a million phone calls and 3 months later they finally cancelled the flight and sent me a check. Fast forward to February 2024 I decided to give them a second chance. So that was stupid. I saw a great price on the website and tried to book it. It said my card was declined, tried several different cards. So I called and they said the dates were not available so they found a different hotel, for $80 more than what I saw online because they refused to use my genius discount but still a good price, and booked it with me over the phone. I never received a confirmation email and my bank wasn’t charged. So I called back to confirm that I had the reservation. They said I did but the email they had entered was wrong so they sent it to my actual email address. ALL of the information was wrong. Phone number, email address, address, and card info.

And the confirmation email looked fake, nothing like confirmation emails I have seen before. They said it was actually booked through booking, but the confirmation email said Priceline. Called booking just for them to say they can’t find it. Back to Priceline, told them all of the info was wrong and they said “oh so that’s why you weren’t charged! Well we need to escalate this to someone higher to listen to the phone calls and make sure it was our mistake.” WHAT!? I booked over the phone, so how would it be my mistake? I just gave the lady all the wrong info? Be so for real! Anyway they said it could take 2-3 days. Meanwhile hotels are selling out and prices are going up! They were really going to let me drive 10.5 hours with 4 kids just to not have a reservation when I get there! No one is helpful, 4 hours on the phone, transferred back and forth 100 times for nothing!! NEVER AGAIN!! Just don’t book with them!

Then when I get to Carwiz they say I need to have insurance on the car which then has magically increased the price adding an additional $160 (which is more than what the car rental cost). Not very pleased as this is very deceiving. Actual prices, as well as requirements should be disclosed at time of booking not when showing up to get the rental car. These are fairytale prices that get you hooked and then screw you. Some families budget accordingly and this is unacceptable. We ended up not taking the car because of how shady and scammy it felt. We were not able to get a refund of what was paid.

I do have car rental insurance through my own car insurance company but apparently, they still wanted to charge an addition fee to get the car insurance through them. This is so awful for a family to have to endure when on vacation especially when trips are budgeted and these additional surprise fees were not in the budget. I am now out of $118 as this is apparently nonrefundable, I had worked so hard to get enough money to take this trip and it is just so depressing when right at the start of your vacation this nonsense is pulled. There was a mistake on the reservation and couldn’t get them on the phone, so I drove back 45 mins out of my way to fix it. The two workers told me it would get refunded once they spoke to Priceline. So I ended up being on the phone with Priceline and OYO with no help, and didn’t get to sleep before having to head back out on the road. So they wouldn’t refund this reservation that was made that same early morning.

They didn’t seem to care about it either. So no, do not stay in a place where the staff doesn’t care for your well being, basically takes your money and lie to your face about making sure the refund happens. Priceline doesn't care, even though they acknowledge it, they will still let their customers be taken by this company. Priceline customer service is horrible. I'm done going through them and will only book my trips directly with the business - you are far better off that way.

Should have read the reviews before booking with Priceline. They are slow in responding. They’ll keep telling you that the airline has not responded for weeks whereas when I called the airline myself my call gets answered in a few minutes. Also they wanted to charge me$153 of canceling fee on a $135 flight. I even looked up the airline's policy and the cancellation fee was supposed to be only about $50. It’s ridiculous. So much easier if I just book directly with the airline. If you have to use a third party for cheaper price, Expedia is way better than Priceline. I regret very much that I didn’t do my research well and now have gotten myself in a mess.

I wanted to use a travel company that combined Flights and Hotels as it can be frustrating aligning the two and I wanted to take the hassle out of doing the bookings. A friend and I decided to choose Priceline. We spent a fall day perusing Priceline All inclusive Hotel and Flight Packages online and settled on a Sunscape property. We had some questions so we called and talked to an Priceline representative, who helped guide us to our choice. We got flights that were direct at a good price and we upgraded to the adult side of the inclusive resort. We were excited for our trip in February.

As the new year passed, we began to prepare for the trip, pulling up our documents. As we reviewed the Priceline Confirmation we saw where it should have read, “All Inclusive” it read, ”Breakfast Included.” This was distressing so we called Priceline. The first phone call included two agents, one a supervisor. They both said and did the same thing, “We can not reach the hotel to confirm that it is an all inclusive, but we will send you an email confirmation." I asked for a phone call as the trip was a little more than two weeks away and the cancellation deadline was fast approaching. Priceline said they would be in touch. I waited three days and called back. I had the same experience. “Hotel does not answer the phone so we can not confirm that it is an all inclusive," said the first representative, the Supervisor said the same thing and added, "Why don’t you try calling the hotel?”

This puzzled me as Priceline sent the invoice and as I explained to the representative, “I believe there was an error on the print out and perhaps the wrong box was checked.“ I tried the number they gave me and no answer. By this time, we were thinking about canceling the entire trip as we thought who wants to stay at a hotel that does not answer the phone and is not what we thought we were getting. We waited for that email. A third round of Priceline contact occurred a week after the initial inquiry. I had the EXACT same conversation with two agents and a supervisor, “you will receive an email confirmation within 24 hours.”

I did not believe the representative and my anxiety level was way high. So I did a little research and found a different number than the Priceline agents gave me. I called the general number for all Sunscape properties, explained my situation and Priceline’s inability to reach the hotel and was connected directly to the hotel reservation desk. THANK you to the reservation staff that was able to confirm our reservation was all inclusive and that the hotel is ONLY all inclusive.

Priceline, It’s a problem if you pose as a Travel Operator and can not contact properties you sell. It’s a problem if every travel agent speaks the same script to the consumer without follow through. I am still waiting for the email or phone call from Priceline. Hopefully the trip will be better than the experience with Priceline Customer Service. The experience was very stressful. I can not recommend Priceline as a reliable travel operator/representative/agent.

Once we once we arrived to check in. We were told that it was NOT a pet friendly hotel and that if there was a pet, it would be a $100 cleaning fee for having a pet in the room in addition to the $125 that we already had paid to Priceline. For a pet cleaning fee, making this hotel that we never stayed at with extra additional hidden fees. Well, over $250.

After going back-and-forth with priceline and the Downtowner staff. We were told that the manager Tamara ** would get back to us.To let us know that we would get our money back. Since we never stayed, we never heard back, we called priceline back 2 days later, as they told us it would be a couple of days for them to get a hold of the manager. On Saturday, January 27, 2024, I reserved a car with a company called Fox through Priceline. The rented car was supposed to be picked up on Sunday, the 28th, at 2:00 PM. I arrived at the rental car agency at 5:15 PM, and they did not have cars available in the size that had been reserved just 24 hours prior. They only had a car in a category that Fox Rental Company considered $9 more expensive than the one I had initially reserved. The person assisting me asked me "what I wanted to do," implying that I had to pay more if I wanted that car, or else come back later. Never in my life, when renting a car, have I been treated like this. If they didn't have the reserved car, I have always been given the best available based on my reservation without having to pay anything extra.

I blame Priceline for the business policies and agreements it has with mediocre companies like Fox Rent A Car and any other that treats a customer as poorly as they treated me. I also blame Priceline's refund policy, which still has my money held when I neither have a rented car nor was treated as a customer should be. They need to confirm that I didn't take a car for the refund to be processed, making me look like a liar, and they choose to believe their side of the story over mine. Since yesterday, Priceline has been trying to get in touch with Fox, but they are not answering the calls. In the face of all this, I wonder, what kind of companies are these?

I am so mad I can barely write this review. About an hour ago, I made a reservation through Priceline. After confirming, I reviewed the itinerary and realized it didn't specify anything about a kitchen, although your advertisement suggested both a kitchen and kitchenette were available. This led me to believe I had options, so I called to confirm and discovered you only offer a kitchenette, not a full kitchen. Consequently, I decided to cancel my reservation and contacted your office immediately. They directed me to Priceline, as that's where I booked.

The whole process, including time on hold with Priceline, took less than an hour. Now, at 11:48, just an hour after my initial reservation at 10:48, I've decided not to stay since an oven is essential for me and your facility doesn’t provide it. Given that your ad was misleading and I only held the reservation for 20 minutes before attempting to cancel, I'd like a full refund, as I won't be staying and am already missing the first night. I have no way to post the picture of the listing where it says Full kitchen. Not Only are they not refunding me they are charging me more than the rate it was. I am going to make sure that both Priceline and the Executive Best Western Navigator Suites in Everett WA. regret messing with me.

Priceline is completely useless for potential customers! I was looking forward to booking a car rental through their website but they have convoluted details on their page and nonrefundable prices that made me hesitate on entering my payment details. Essentially, the car was to be "supplied by one of these brands" and they listed multiple rental companies. There is no way to confirm which company I would be assigned, and I'm not sure I would've been assigned a company after making the purchase. My biggest hesitation was if I was assigned, let's say Company X, and their offices close by 8pm and I landed at 9pm, I wouldn't know that I had Company X until after making my nonrefundable purchase.

    1. There's zero ability to speak to a live rep over the phone if you don't already have a confirmed booking.
    2. Live reps over SMS will only "be able to help" if you have an existing reservation, which again is unhelpful if you're seeking more information BEFORE booking.

2a. Instead of actually trying to find a helpful answer, live reps over SMS will send canned responses and not answer your questions. They will not wait for you to finish typing your message before disconnecting and leaving you to deal with the chatbot.

This is a well-known brand and I am horrified that this is how they operate. Never again.

I used a "We Pick 3" option on Priceline to book a room for 2 nights in Nashville recently. I reviewed the 3 hotels offered, reviewing their amenities pages. On Priceline, the initial amenities page is the second page underneath the hotel description. However, if you continue to scroll down through 8 additional hotel suggested listings, you will find additional potential charges. In this case, a mandatory $40 daily parking fee, which increases your daily rate by $40. It you are budgeting $120 for a hotel and end up having to pay $160 per day, it's quite a substantial amount for the week.

I phoned Priceline when we checked in about the parking fee, stating that this was not listed on the amenities page. The agent simply read a script that I had entered into a contract with Priceline for this hotel. I asked for her supervisor and reached an impatient woman who did the same, read me a script stating that I had entered in to a contract for this hotel. I asked for her manager. She took my number and said that a manager would review the notes on the issue and call me back. I never received a call.

I approached the Hilton Garden Inn about the matter as I have stayed at these hotels for 20 years without issue. The clerk was short and not willing to discuss it, stating it was a Priceline issue. When I later reviewed the reviews on the hotel, I found that others were "surprised" by the mandatory parking fee. The next day, I saw a Hilton Garden Inn Supervisor and shared the same story I had the day before with the unresponsive clerk. She indicated that a she had discussed with her management that the mandatory parking rate was not in the amenities page, but buried in the hotel listing at the very bottom after many ads which most people will not scroll through, but management had not insisted on a change on the hotel's listings on Priceline or other hotel sites. This is a poor reflection on Hilton Garden Inns as well for not insisting that Priceline reveal the mandatory parking fees.

Updated on 04/01/2024: I am writing this review so that others will be aware of this company’s lack of integrity and not use Priceline. I called and wrote to Priceline many times and sent in documents countless times. After almost three months, Priceline sent me an email stating that I would not receive a refund. I was in Brazil on January 1st and I made a reservation at the Recoleta Grand Hotel in Buenos Aires through Priceline, #**, for the following day.

On January 2, I was feeling quite ill. I took a Covid test and it was positive. I decided to go home to the United States because I did not want to be alone at almost 80 years old in a country where I don’t speak the language. I immediately contacted Priceline along with all of my other hotels and flights. I bought a first-class ticket for $4100 to return to the US so there would not be people around me. All of my other hotel reservations and flights that I canceled were refunded without a moment’s hesitation. The reservation through Priceline has been a constant source of aggravation to me for three months.

I requested that my $760 be refunded to me at least 10 times. My calls were all answered by people whom I did not understand. They were trying to explain that I had to send the records as a PDF, only when they spoke it sounded like BBF and I didn’t know what they were talking about. This is an absolutely ridiculous situation. I eventually understood one representative and sent in the 2 PDF files. I did everything that they requested.

After all of this, they have refused to issue a refund. I don’t mind taking the time to write reviews so that others will not use this company. Any corporation that’s going to take my money who at almost 80 years old for the sake of a reservation that was less than 24 hours old when I had Covid is a despicable company. There are countless companies with integrity that one can choose.

Original Review: I made the mistake of making a reservation through Priceline. I was in Brazil and not feeling great. I had changed a previous reservation on Jan. 1. The new reservation was for Jan. 3. Later that night, I was really sick and decided to go home on Jan. 2. I'm 79 years old and I am at high risk. The following morning I tested positive for Covid. I contacted Priceline immediately to cancel on Jan. 1. They requested documentation from the doctor and I sent it twice. I keep trying to contact them and they don't respond. It is impossible to speak to someone. Do they want someone with Covid at a hotel? I had no problems with United nor American Airlines. This is ridiculous. I will not use Priceline again.

The company they sent me to is not recognized by the BBB and has a 1 star rating on Yelp.

I booked two filghts back in 2021 and had to cancel due to Covid 19. In 2021 I was informed that the flights were non refundable and that there was nothing else they could due. In 2022, I called in again numerous times and was provided the same information and a credit. It wasn't until 2023 that I was informed that Priceline's policies stated that no refunds could be issued through them. However I could contact the airline itself to request a refund. I reached out to United Airlines. I followed the procedures that were given to me and the issue is still unresolved. Today I was talking to a manager in regards to the reasons of the flights being cancel due to a death and covid 19. They want me to produce a three year old positive covid 19 test taking at home for them to submit to request a refund. The manager hung up on me and never called me back. I was a loyal Priceline customer for about 10 years with no issues. At first the deals were great. Then they stopped letting me name my own price, but it was still good. The few issues that arose with reservations or during travel were easily resolved with a few phone calls, and I was always treated as a "Priceline VIP." But in 2022 I took a trip where I paid for everything in advance. Then the rental car company charged me again for the car. I tried to resolve it with the car company.

Then I turned to Priceline thinking they'd advocate for me or assist in some way. They escalated my issue to a supervisor but decided to do absolutely nothing, no refund, no discount, nothing. I had to go to the state attorney general to get my money back from the rental company, and I found others who'd been cheated by the same shady practices at the rental car location. Since then my profile on Priceline still says I'm a "VIP." I can search the site, but any time I try to book a hotel room it tells me the deal just expired. I would've given them another chance but they dropped me entirely as a customer.

My recent experience with Priceline has left my family and me feeling utterly betrayed, as the platform failed to deliver on its promises and demonstrated a complete lack of accountability for the dismal state of the accommodations they promoted. Unfortunately, our trust in Priceline was misplaced, and we found ourselves stuck in a hotel far from the advertised amenities. Upon arrival at the hotel, it became apparent that more than half of the promised amenities were unavailable, leaving us disillusioned and frustrated. Discovering that Priceline does not take responsibility for falsely advertising the properties they promote on their platform is disheartening. The discrepancy between what was promised and what was delivered reflects poorly on Priceline's commitment to its customers.

To add insult to injury, we were subjected to the hotel's demand for extra money upon arrival. This unexpected expense should have been communicated during the booking process, highlighting the lack of transparency and honesty in Priceline's dealings with customers and affiliated hotels. It's deeply disappointing that a company of Priceline's stature would engage in such practices, compromising the trust of loyal customers. What's particularly troubling is Priceline's apparent disregard for its customers' value. In their pursuit of profit, Priceline is willing to sacrifice customer satisfaction by associating with below-standard hotels that do not uphold the promised standards. This abandonment of customer trust for marginal financial gains reflects poorly on Priceline's integrity as a service provider.

In conclusion, my family's recent experience with Priceline has been nothing short of a letdown. The false advertising, lack of accountability, and additional financial demands have left us questioning the ethics and values of a company that should prioritize customer satisfaction. Until Priceline addresses these issues and takes concrete steps to rectify such situations, I strongly caution potential customers against trusting this platform when booking accommodations.

Because already paid the rental, I called Priceline for help. The gentleman on the other side refused to offer any help. Frustrated, I left without a car and proceeded to dispute the car payment.

Priceline, which makes has no provision to correct a booking made in error, and supplies no review panel at the end of the booking process, contacted the Inn to request a refund. Since Priceline colludes with all hotels that list reservations as non-refundable, even when an error is made on a potentially confusing app, the request for refund was denied days later. I was charged for two hotels at over $100 each. Worse, a week later, I carefully reserve my regular hotel once, and am then informed upon arrival that I have two reservations. I had the same experience with them, had dealing with them for my refund over half year now, they keep lies to you the refund is in process, takes 3-7 days, after several times them they switch to which method you like to refund, get your extend times again and again, then verify your address for refund by check. Of course you wait and nothing happens, more weeks go by after follow up. The next they change to refund by your card, wait and wait again, times are go by again. Keep going with lie to you will process 24 hours …. Many back and forth by check or bank. But you will never receive your money lol … I have not ever see any company like this, I had book things with them for many times, but will never do it again! The company seems is going down….

I paid for a flight and hotel package to Houston on the 8th of December for 3 days. The lady that was helping me book the flight informed me that I could get a window seat if I paid $30 extra which I did. You all can imagine my surprise when on the date of my flight not only did I NOT get a window seat but I was placed in the aisle on the very last row on the plane next to the toilet. So I had to not only endure the smell of people using the toilet but also move my shoulders out of the way for people going and coming. It was the worst airplane ride of my life and I will never use Priceline again for any flight and hotel package.

She didn’t realize that when she picked up the car in Denver and was hit with $125 in taxes and fees. When I contacted Priceline, they said that the reservation did not include taxes and fees. I sent them a screenshot of the same reservation, showing where it says the taxes and fees were going to be included in the rental car. After chatting back-and-forth for 30 minutes, they basically said too bad, there was nothing they could do, and ended the chat. Borders on fraud. Was also booked with a substandard car company.

Priceline’s “travel insurance” on their flights is a complete scam. When you are checking out they offer the insurance under the guise if you need to cancel your flight you are covered by the optional insurance ($18). We were flying to Mobile for a tennis tournament and due to weather it was cancelled. So I was told to contact the Allianz - the third party insurance company and file a claim. Well the first thing Allianz says is go look at page 12 and 13 of the policy to see exclusions. There are 25+ exclusions and basically EVERY and ANY reason you would need to cancel a flight is listed as an exclusion.

The ONLY thing that is somewhat covered is a medical emergency and even that is not completely covered. If you have a pre-existing condition they don’t cover that. They don’t cover Covid. They don’t cover ANYTHING. You are paying an extra $18 for absolutely nothing. And since it was an express deal my plane ticket is non refundable and non changeable so I’m out almost $200. Never book an express deal on Priceline for plane tickets - book directly with the airline because they will allow you to make changes to your reservation unlike Priceline. Just pay the extra money and book with the airline - it is worth it! I personally will never use Priceline again.

When they got to Flexways Car Rental they were informed that they would need to put up a $750 deposit for the rental car. Then it somehow was raised to $1,000! They did not have that much on a credit card and asked if they could split it between two credit cards and they were told no. Nowhere in any itinerary that we were emailed did it say that they would need to put up such a substantial amount of money for a deposit. My daughter and her husband are in their early 30's, insured, and both have good driving records. And going back and reading the rates and responsibilities page on their website, it doesn't make any sense. They say "US dollar", but then put numbers like "US dollar 400,00." There is not one correct number in their policy.

My daughter texted me with her problem and I told them to use the credit card that I had made the reservation on. I had given it to my daughter in case the car company wanted to see it. Which of course is not in her husband's name, so they would not or could not let them use it. So they contacted another rental car company that had a comparable car for less money and a much less deposit. We cancelled their Flexways car and they were able to finally start their honeymoon, hassle free.

I think that Priceline might want to reconsider using Flexways, for their car rental company. Especially the way they treated my daughter and her husband. Not only did they want a ridiculous amount of money for a deposit, they were extremely rude. I would be concerned if you purchase a package deal that includes Flexways as your car company.

He stated, "Oh this is the wrong room" and left. I opened the door and started to speak as he walked away with his back turned. I asked, "Who you are and why did you enter my room." He stated, "I'm security" and continued to walk away.

I became angry, violated and fearful. I called the front desk and spoke with Greg (MOD). He asked to describe the man. He agreed and said that he was in fact security. I called the front desk and began to speak getting nowhere so I disconnected the call and went down to the front desk for an explanation. I asked but "WHY did he enter my room unauthorized. Nevertheless why was he there? What just happened? Why did that occur?" I left the desk without a transparent explanation. I returned to the room.

Greg called and asked if he could come up to explain what happened. He came up and showed me a two-sided white tag. One side had 1401 and the other side had another four digit number. He said that's why security came to my room. That provided no explanation to provide an understanding to determine WHY security entered my room without prior authorization or knowledge thereof. I trusted the Wyndhan facility to provide me with a safe, secure, clean, professional environment for five days. Your facility failed to provide. I refused to go to my room alone.

Our family occupied six different rooms at this facility. There was no empathy, reassurance of safety, upgrade, compensation or anything offered under such circumstances. I'm hoping you will resolve my concerns. I decided to email you to further investigate. What can or will be done to address my concerns? What can or will be done in the future to be sure such incidents will never occur again? Why wasn't security dressed in security attire? The interaction with the gentleman was less than professional. I asked for a receipt when checking out I was advised since I reserved through a 3rd party I had to call for a receipt. My recent vacation to Mexico, booked through Priceline.com, turned into a nightmare due to a major oversight on their part. I booked a package for 2 adults and 2 children (6-year-olds) encompassing flight and hotel. While we successfully secured our flight tickets for all four of us, the hotel arrangement fell short, causing substantial inconvenience and unexpected expenses.

Upon arriving in Mexico, we were shocked to discover that the hotel reservation only covered accommodations for 2 adults. To add insult to injury, the hotel insisted on charging an exorbitant $100 per child per night, amounting to an unforeseen $1000 expense for our 5-night stay. The ensuing customer service experience with Priceline.com and Booking.com was nothing short of frustrating. Priceline.com informed me that the hotels are booked through Booking.com and transferred me to their customer service. However, Booking.com redirected me back to Priceline.com, creating a maddening cycle of finger-pointing. Both companies acknowledged the error but refused to provide a resolution.

After two hours of back-and-forth calls, my frustration reached its peak, leading me to suggest a three-way call to resolve the issue promptly. Shockingly, the call was abruptly terminated by both parties, leaving me stranded without a solution. This level of customer service is disappointing, to say the least. Priceline.com, it's time to address these fundamental issues; otherwise, your standing in the industry may suffer irreparably. Such lapses in service can tarnish your reputation, and customers deserve better than a runaround between two companies.

I am now considering legal action to address the financial and emotional toll this ordeal has taken on my vacation. It is my hope that Priceline.com takes swift action to rectify the situation before such measures become necessary. Customers should not be left with no alternative but to seek legal recourse for issues that could be resolved through fair and responsible business practices.

This is not my problem that you can’t contact the hotel. Why did you guys list a hotel when you don’t have their correct contact info? Why as a consumer I am paying for it?

Priceline offered me a rate that was non refundable so I clicked on that rate but here's where my stupidity comes in. Did not notice it wasn't the same hotel and booked it by mistake. So I'm stuck in a hotel far away from the rest of our party. Won't use Priceline every again not because of my mistake but because there customer service was rude and said to bad you booked it. They would not change the reservation to the hotel I wanted. I don't understand why they couldn't change it and get a Happy customer and would rather have upset customers that will never use them again. Poor way to do business when they would get there money either way from me but chose pissed off customer instead of Happy.

No cars were available and the lobby was full of people waiting or sleeping hoping a car would show up. The attendant told me to come back at 7:30 am and I might be able to get a car then. Priceline would not try to find me another car. I walked to AVIS at 2:00 am and found a comparable car there. I called Priceline and they said they would refund the difference in fees from my original reservation. As per their instructions I filed a claim with them on Sep 27. No word from them. I called Nov 9, 2023 and they said to file the claim again. Never again will I go with Priceline. By prepaying for a car, I thought I had an agreement with Priceline but they thought nothing of breaking the agreement and ignoring their responsibility thus creating a big hassle for me and the loss of a night’s rest.

This company offers you discount on the price and then puts that difference in price in your taxes and fees. So when I called company to ask for the breakdown on taxes and fees nobody at call centre was able to give me what percent was taxes and what fees were charged. Even I was transferred to manager (who seemed less knowledgeable than initial agent I spoke to) was not able to give me detail on taxes and fees. Manager ended call saying he will send me details by email and ended call. And guess what? He send me generic email with information in taxes and fees different from different places but no information on what percent was tax and fees. I also tried to double check the price again using same hotel and same Priceline website.

Guess what? My tax rate was 13% like all other website including hotel's official website. (Room price $78.17 per night for 6 nights = $468 plus tax was $70) so I calculated the taxes they charged me on my express deal discount was 25%. (Room price $56 per night for 6 nights = $336 and tax was $85.20). So in reality they didn't offer any discount on express deal. All they did was take some price off room charge and add them to taxes and fees. When I called agent just kept saying I agreed to price and kept repeating same that my room price is 56 per night and my taxes are $85 for about 25 minutes but no one was able to give me tax percentage or fees that were changed. He blamed that system generates price automatically. Be watchful for future and never trust Priceline again.

However, when I arrived the hotel was filthy, smelly, had roaches, was in disrepair and more. I did not feel safe or comfortable staying there, so I switched to another hotel. When I contacted Priceline they simply said it was non-refundable and that was that. Zero consideration for the deplorable conditions. They did offer a 15 percent coupon for a future stay but that is not helpful as I will never book through Priceline again.

I booked a business trip through them (my mistake, first trip). The trip was ultimately cancelled by the company. No refund was given, only a credit for the next year. They wouldn't budge and make an exception. I highly doubt the ticket will ever be used. Do yourself a favor, just book direct through the airline, car rental, and hotel yourself. I did in fact need to change the ticket, but am now being told the policy is no changes allowed - which is on my itinerary that I received AFTER purchasing the ticket - I asked WHY THE POLICY WOULD BE DIFFERENT FROM THE ONE I AGREED TO PREPURCHASE AND I was told by Fatima and the manager (didn’t get her name prior to hanging up on me for the second time) that it is just their policy and she would be happy to email me a copy of it or I can find it on my itinerary.

I told her I could email her the copy I received prior to check out and the policy I agreed to by continuing to purchase the ticket because I screen shotted it in case I needed to refer to it later and that’s when I got hung up on again. How can a policy change to the exact opposite AFTER you purchase it and can no longer change it or not continue with the purchase because you don’t agree to that policy???

Recently had an incredibly frustrating experience with Priceline.com that left me with no option but to leave a zero-star review. Priceline.com provided me with the wrong location for the property I booked, rendering my reservation completely useless. I had no choice but to cancel my stay, and the way Priceline handled the situation was beyond disappointing.

When I arrived at the location indicated by Priceline, I was shocked to discover that the property was situated somewhere entirely different. This mix-up was entirely the fault of Priceline.com, as I had relied on their platform for accurate booking information. Unfortunately, the problems didn't end there. When I reached out to Priceline's customer support, I expected them to take responsibility for their error and help me find a solution promptly. However, I was met with indifference, a complete lack of empathy, and an unwillingness to admit fault.

Their customer service representatives seemed uninterested in my predicament and were uncooperative in resolving the issue. Despite the glaring mistake on their part, Priceline refused to take any responsibility and insisted that the error was mine. This is not the level of service I expected from a company that I entrusted with my travel plans. Priceline left me stranded with no assistance and no effort to rectify their mistake.

In the end, I had no choice but to make a new reservation directly with the hotel, incurring additional expenses. This left me not only financially worse off but also deeply dissatisfied with Priceline's incompetence and their inability to rectify the situation they created. I strongly advise against using Priceline.com for any travel bookings. Their customer service is subpar, and their unwillingness to admit fault or rectify their mistakes is unacceptable. My experience with them has been nothing short of a nightmare, and I will never trust or use their services again.

Sorry in advance as it is gonna be a tiny part of a very bad experience but still too long. But Please read it before buying their product. We booked our trip as a package via Booking.com and Priceline. A couple of weeks before the trip something came up and we were forced to cancel the package. When we called them to cancel it, they told us you have to cancel the hotel separately and each flight separately and you have to personally do it. So we paid for international calls to call the hotel to cancel it and lost 2 night money as penalty. Then we asked them to cancel our flights but they cancelled them separately and deducted $100 from each leg and they would not give us our money but travel credit.

Oh! it will get worse! The credit is limited to a year to use it otherwise it will expire! and you can not use it any other way you have to call us only to find you a flight to use it. A year passed and we were forced to use it or let it go. So we paid for data roaming again and international calls to call their number and they booked us 2 flights separately with no checked bags, separate legs that on return we will end up on Edmonton instead of our home city Calgary and we had to pay another 300 USD as they billed us. Not to mention for one leg they told us it is $144 and asked us if you confirm. We confirmed and then they emailed the invoice for 200 USD!

The customer service staff were inexperienced and to be honest kind of indifferent toward travel concerns of a passenger. I will never ever buy a package from Booking.com and absolutely recommend not to use Priceline services as they had me my worst travel experience in my whole life. Wish it never happens to anyone else.

This is regarding a motel room I booked through Priceline. My family and I had a flight delay that was going to cause us to miss our connecting flight in Raleigh-Durham. At approximately 6 pm in Fort Lauderdale I become aware that getting to Raleigh-Durham in time to catch the connecting flight to Nashville was not going to happen. I then booked and PAID for a motel room at Extended Stay of America in Raleigh-Durham.

The Priceline website said that if you were not going to be able to make check in by 9 PM, you should call the motel and let them know (I don't see why that is necessary since I have ALREADY PAID for the room, but whatever). So at around 6:30 I called the Extended Stay motel and informed them that according to the airline's approximation we would not get into Raleigh-Durham until around 9:30 PM, but that I would DEFINITELY be there and to hold my room. They said, "As long as you're here by 12 AM, you should be okay" (once again WHY? When I have already paid for the room). So as stated, we arrived in Raleigh-Durham around 9:30. I then get a $28 taxi and have them drop us off at the Motel around 10:20 pm. After the cab pulls away, the motel informs me they don't have ANY rooms. I tell them I did EVERYTHING I was supposed to do, but that made no difference.

Incidently, another gentleman comes in to get his room that he had made reservations for through Priceline, and his room was not available either. So I then call Priceline and speak to multiple non-American representatives that do nothing to solve my problem. I then spend another hours attempting to get a $35 taxi back to the Raleigh-Durham airport. Me and my family attempted to sleep on a cold hard floor in the Raleigh-Durham airport for 6 hours until I flight back to Nashville departed. Let me also say that the Extended Stay of America motel (the motel Priceline.com represented) was a terrible place! There appeared to be a gang convention going on, and the place smelled like month old cigarettes butts. And what did I get for ALL my problems and the extra $63 I paid in cab fare? Priceline.com saw fit to give me $13 more than I was originally charged for the room. NEVER AGAIN!!!! Priceline.com is dead to me.

The default suggestion booked me with an offsite company and was non-refundable. I checked the address before booking and the address said MCO (which is the airport initials). I guess I have to actually compare the address of the airport to the address of the rental company in the future. The shuttle runs every half hour and not 24 hours. I tried to get in contact with a live person at the car rental agency for an hour but was unsuccessful. I can't imagine why Priceline didn't just suggest an onsite car rental company instead of this two bit operation? Awful experience, I'll never use Priceline again.

Using their app of Priceline, trying to reserve us a hotel room, and the date, as I was checking out of the reservation part, they didn’t save the date and charged me for today’s date. I had change that to next weekend, and for some reason their app put it back to today’s date. So now, we are playing hell to try to get our money back because of their Technical issues on their app. Not a good place to reserve a hotel. Don’t use their app. I would probably try to call instead, so this doesn’t happen to anybody else. So they’re not wanting to give us our money back or even change the date because they’re at messed up our whole program.

I booked airline ticket in August on Priceline.com. While site was open a pop-up appeared with a link to discounted hotel reservations connected to my reservation. I clicked on it. Within minutes Chase notified me of suspicious activity. They had to close my account, issue new card and open a fraud case. Priceline is denying my refund/claim and Chase says there is nothing they can do. I immediately reported to Priceline after the event. They say they have no fraud department and no way to report a fraud and no way to stop my reservation. Airlines cannot help because Priceline created reservation for me.

Do not use them! They will not refund you if you have to cancel your trip. They will feed you a bunch of nonsense about it being policies and procedures. They will blame the hotel etc. They do not care. I tried to get a refund a month in advance and they wouldn’t do it. They are liars and thieves.

And in the end she said she was canceling my flight reservation. Definitely not a good place to buy tickets.

DO NOT USE PRICELINE OR BOOKING.COM. Do not use Priceline. When problems with Priceline occur they pass you to Booking.com to not solve your problem and leave you stranded. I was stranded in Los Angeles without a place to Stay when Skyways Hotel canceled my reservation saying they were not able to make a charge on my credit card. I made my arrangements for my daughter's two wedding celebrations using same credit card. My car rental went smoothly at O'Hare Airport. Skyways Hotel stranded me in Los Angeles saying the were not able to make a charge on my credit card. I was counting on a late check in at Skyways Hotel after 2nd celebration for my daughter's wedding.

When I tried to checked in I handed my driver's license through the bullet proof glass and the rude lady, in broken English, said my reservation was canceled because when the tried to make a charge they were not able and there are no more rooms. I asked for a supervisor who said there is nothing he can do. No more rooms. I called Priceline who transferred me to booking.com. I kept trying to get somebody to understand but all the people at Philippine call center, including supervisors, could not understand. I asked to have the incident investigated. I was told a supervisor will call back. One week later I called for update on the investigation. I was told I need to call Skyways Hotel. There was nothing they can do or give credit for my inconvenience.

I called Skyways Hotel and escalated up to Kash **. I asked for the return of my driver's license, investigate why my reservation was canceled (if problem with credit card, what was the error code), and for credit for the inconvenience since I was stranded in Los Angeles when I know there's no problem with my credit card and I had to pay for a more expensive last minute hotel. Kash ** looked at security video and said he said he saw his personnel take my driver's license but not able to verify them returning it back. Kash ** promised to investigate and sent an email to show his sincerity. Kash ** never investigated and booking.com can do no more.

I called Priceline and asked if I did my reservation through Priceline, shouldn't Priceline do the right thing to resolve issues instead of being passed off to booking.com? It was a slap in the face when I got transferred to booking.com. Why make reservations to Priceline when you could just go to booking.com (do not use booking.com) instead. DO NOT USE PRICELINE OR BOOKING.COM.

They charge almost double the price than if paid the hotel directly. They advertise that they will refund the difference, which they will not. I tried. They told me that the hotel was not supposed to give me a bill. That is when I noticed the difference.

Priceline was contacted to cancel a car rental and indicated the cancellation was complete. They later billed me for the price of a car which I had booked independently after the car rental time was not secured by Priceline. Poor accountability, poor professionalism, and overall negative experience. I definitely would not recommend Priceline and will not use it again.

After shopping around for flights, I decided to book via Priceline as they had the cheaper rates. Unfortunately, what I quickly discovered when I attempted to change my flight reservations due to a family matter is that Priceline wouldn't allow me to change the flight reservations. I spoke with a customer service rep, their supervisor who told me to call the airline. When I called the airline and went through the same process, the airline CSR supervisor informed me that Priceline should have handled the matter as they sold me the tickets. I tried calling Priceline back just to discover that I would not be refunded or even have an account credit. They then offered to sell me Insurance on the ticket; however, the CSR couldn't even explain what was covered with the Insurance product. It was a terrible experience (almost three hours lost in total) just to find out that I will lose my money for tickets that I can no longer use.

On 10/15/23 I phoned property again to ask about Atlanta Airport shuttle and was told by Ritchie that I should have booked 10/15/23 res, even though I would arrive at 1AM on 10/16/23. He told me to phone Priceline to get res changed. Spoke to Jaime at Priceline. She phoned Ritchie, then told me res had been changed by him. When I arrived at Days Inn 2AM on 10/16/23, Ritchie said "no charge" was ever made and should have been done by Priceline. I was then FORCED to pay a 2nd time for same room or sleep in the street. I phoned Priceline 2 MORE TIMES on 10/16/2023 after the incident. I received ZERO help to get initial or duplicate payment refunded. I will NEVER use Priceline again.

Priceline said I would get a full refund since it was not my fault and since it was less than 24 hours. I did not get my refund. I called 3 days later and told the same thing. I didn't get my refund. I called a week later and was told I could only get a third of the refund because that is what the airline would give. I did not get my travel Insurance refund either.

Today I logged on to my Priceline account to learn that my vacation was completely canceled. Apparently, the hotel had an error in the price. I received zero notifications that my reservation was canceled. Priceline customer support proceeded to tell me they sent multiple emails which never were actually sent, and then had the nerve to reference a phone call which never happened where I supposedly agreed to cancelation. I never spoke to anyone regarding this "Cancelation". As of today, I have not been refunded. They offered to re-reserve my hotel reservation for more than 6 times more money than they charged me for in the original reservation. I asked to speak to a supervisor to explain my circumstances at which point I was placed on hold, and then after 18 minutes of holding a person picked up the call and then hung up on me. Priceline and their sister company Booking.com are the worst.
