    I am one of the regular "Make My Trip" app user, I face very bad experience with this app, I book ticket from this app however due to covid 19, I will like to change the date of my travel, I do some research with the airline for the change of time, the airline clearly mention that we can change the date of travel but when I try to make changes as I book the ticket from this MMT app, I can't change my date, they ask me to cancel the ticket and re-book the ticket again, which I cannot as I have spent lot of money with my tickets. I don't want to make any changes. The only option I have is to cancel my ticket and way for my refund and un-install my app, one of the worst app, I tried calling them but they are not available due to covid 19, but they are available to take customer money during covid 19. Govt. should take some action for this kind of fraud apps. I wish I could give 0 star I get option,

    If you book tickets from MakeMyTrip and send msg of flight cancellation even after that they are not responding for refund. They say talk to airlines and airlines says MakeMyTrip send mail to us but MakeMyTrip is not responsible after getting your payment. Follow with them since last 3 months but very very poor response. Better to book ticket directly from airlines to avoid unnecessary extra payment for their earning. Very bad experience so don’t book anything.

    I booked a flight from Surat to Bengaluru through MMT for 23 May 2020. As the flight wasn't permitted to operate due to COVID 19 guidelines, I cancelled my tickets well in advance through INDIGO Airlines. I got a Credit Note also from the Airlines for the amount I paid deducting the convenience charges (Rs. 300/-). In turn, MMT refunded me some pennies deducting/imposing a huge amount (Rs. 3000/-) as Cancellation charges for a flight which didn't operate. I spent hours and hours writing emails, chatting on App, getting number of assurances from MMT that the calculation error incurred will be rectified. It's been a month but all efforts in vain. I lost money and I lost trust on MMT. Would advice everyone reading my experience that please don't make any bookings with MMT. They are cheaters.

    Due to the recent COVID19 outbreak, my flight got cancelled and I requested refund by airline and I got mail from Airline stating they have processed my refund to Makemytrip but Despite my numerous phone calls & emails, they (MMT) have yet to respond. I would NOT advise anyone using this company to book any tickets. My tickets were purchased early 23rd March for March 26th. I got airlines themselves that my initial request were not cancelled. I would strongly advise ANYONE and EVERYONE to boycott this company - MakeMyTrip.com.

    Please stop vague replies.. Everything is ONLINE. It is an silly excuse to retain the Refunded amount of the customers in MMT accounts so that interest amount is generated.. This is completely Unethical and Unfair Trade ...very unprofessional. Have been going through same complaints on almost every social media applications. Makemytrip is taking advantage of this Covid-19 pandemic for its commercial gains and interests. It's all an pre planned strategy of MMT to cheat the customers..pathetic and hopeless company.... giving us stress and tension in critical situation to cope up with daily expenses and bills when I am out of work.

    I booked a flight (date of journey: 26th April, 2020) from Bombay to Bagdogra which was impacted by COVID-19 outbreak. I received messages that the booking amount can be used in future. But on "my trips" page, the flight is listed as "completed" with no option to use the amount for any other booking. Being a reputed company, MMT should have some clarity regarding its policies. Instead of being forced some unwanted journey on new dates, I would've preferred a full refund, which should have been the norm of fair dealing. Why should anybody pay anything if the vendor is unable to sell anything? I feel cheated. Really very bad experience with Make My Trip.

    Make my Trip is No 1 cheating company in this world. Everyone known there is bad time running because of COVID19 but these peoples are cheating publics at this time, Without traveling and Flight also canceled. Airline given refund but these peoples are taken my whole money. I'm trying to contact them 100 times over phone, email, chat but there is any response. Instead of 31338 they only given 4502. The same thing I raised complaints at Jago Grahak Jago also PM Office. Let's see what happening.

    I was book a flight from Guwahati to Bangkok before 4 month of my journey date with full payment. On the day of journey at 12.00 am I am able to know that my flight was cancelled and the particular airline has not operating since 30 days before my journey. Mmt was not informed me for this case. Even I am not getting my refund till now. Really worst experience...

    My flight was booked from Bangalore to USA.. It was a return ticket.. I got a mail saying my flight is impacted.. Am calling from 6 days. They are not picking my calls. Once they picked and said they can't refund.. But when I booked the ticket they said it's refundable completely.. Am a middle class.. I can't afford to lose money at this time.. I was going to America to write an exam. I want refund at any cost. I paid 1 lakh 10 thousand rupees. Please if anyone can help me getting my refund.. Mail me **. Please.. I want this company to realise what they are doing is fraud.

    Cancelled domestic flights due to Covid-19 and got refund of 500 against the amount paid 26k. The instruction given was that the airline deducted the amount. But when I talk to airline directly, they confirmed that the amount is fully returned. It’s nothing but Fraud. #MakeMyTrip #MadeMyMoney

    I have been an old customer of MMT and so far I was of the impression that the company was giving better service. However like a lightning strike I got jolt in this month about their insensitivity towards customer when they started to ignore my repeated emails to cancel my tickets to Japan via Singapore due to pandemic. They said, "Money refund can't be guaranteed," and told me to change the date. After I put my foot down, they told they are in talks with Singapore Airlines and the refund amount if any will be put to my MMT wallet and to be claimed for some other trip within one year :(.

    When I told them that I want my money back in my bank account, they stopped replying to me. How cool is that!!! Now for several days there is absolutely no reply to my mails by MMT. This behavior of MMT must be taken very seriously because they feel indifferent to customers. I have promised to my self that I will never ever ever again put my money in risk with MMT. I rate any company based on how sensitive they are when customers in dire need of their help. I got to learn from them their real avatar. Thanks to the lockdown for unmasking MMTs real nature. Stay away from MMT and your money will be safer.

    Prior to purchasing my tickets through MakeMyTrip.com, I had reviewed this company and at that time I had perceived it to be trustworthy. Due to the recent COVID19 outbreak, my flights were cancelled. Despite my numerous phone calls & emails, they (MMT) have yet to respond. I would NOT advise anyone using this company to book any tickets. I will be pursuing a legal action against them for breaking agreement terms. My tickets were purchased early in March for March 20th. All flights from India have been cancelled until April 15. I have received cancellation notices from MMT & yet I have also received further emails from the airlines themselves that my initial request were not cancelled. I would strongly advise ANYONE and EVERYONE to boycott this company - MakeMyTrip.com.

    I booked my round-trip tickets for Sri Lanka, Booking Reference No. **, Booking ID: **, but SriLankan Airlines cancelled the flight due to travel restrictions by the governments. So ideally, I should have received full refund. I Must have tried the site at least 50 times for help over one week. Either they don't pick up or after picking up wait time was 48 minutes followed by no response. Really felt hassled. Don't know if money will finally be refunded. Really a irresponsible agent. Keep on giving the reasons of high call volumes for all the responsibilities. I mailed twice they are nit ever responding the mails. Don't know even they are serving a few also in this so called "high call volume".

    Booked a Flight which got cancelled because of the present Travel restrictions. So ideally I should have got full refund. But no, they are not. Instead they are asking to reschedule on the SAME SECTOR and SAME AIRLINE at a later date (which I do not need) and by paying the difference of fare if applicable! On the other hand if WE CANCEL they will deduct ALL THEIR DUES (Airline fare, COnv Charges, promotional discount etc...) and return you FEW PENNIES into your account. How injustice and looting the public. :(

As I reached there it was locked down so members of the MMT compelled me to return and agreed to refund me so I returned the second day. Now they have given a gift card of 24000 INR. I have paid 58000 INR. My booking id is **. I have lost my job in this corona. Please help me.

    I had made a booking from MakeMyTrip.com... Please find the booking details attached to the mail. When I got to the hotel, hotel guys said...as they have some problem with OYO related to on-line payment... they can't give me stay here. I had to make few calls to OYO. They arrange another hotel name Uruvele International. Please check the condition of the hotel (a few pics). The room number was 102.

    # Bed sheet couldn't cover the mattress. Mosquito machine didn't have the cartridge. Dead mosquito were there on table. No chair was there. Room was so dirty. Dirty spots on pillow covers. Comforter's covers had specks of dirt on them. Restroom was dirty. Broken electric board. No room service as there was no communication facility there. Dirty table/very unhygienic... you name one - you see there...

    I ask for tea in the morning, got tea in a steel cup / got breakfast (Indian puri - chole / fried bread with chickpeas... Didn't get the option for bread - butter or something non-oily or non-spicy...) Water Geyser was not switched on so couldn't get the hot water for several hours. Complained to staff. They found the switch was off from mainboard.

    Didn't get the breakfast on the second day. ( I was told - I would get the breakfast in room...so I waited in the room. No one showed up. I asked the staff members... they said breakfast is finished.) Though there is a designated place for food but didn't see any food there as there was some meeting ( gatherings ) was going on... I got the fever day when I checked out because of the infection. Horrible terrible experience. What are you guys going to do about this??? I emailed them many times with pictures but no reply from them so far. Terrible experience staying in a hotel.

    Updated on 05/25/2020: I wanted to bring to notice the irresponsible and negative opportunistic behavior of this company. I had booked my ticket to Paris for 30th March 2020 through Qatar Airways. Due to corona Virus I wanted to cancel the flight.. Before my cancelling the flight the airlines itself cancelled the flight with an assurance that full money will be refunded through the site through which it was booked.

    After that I have being trying to contact the airlines each time hanging on the call for roughly half an hour with either no response from customer care or an empty message that my request is under process. Their auto response app is also useless with pre fixed answers and none of the time did they call back to sort the matter. Rather than refunding the money, they happily credited the money deducting the cancellation charges (Mind you the cancellation was from their side). I don't recommend this site to anyone.. Everyone booking through the site should be do at their risk. I just hope they will in future at least allow me to use the remaining fees that they have credited.

    Poorest customer service I have ever experienced from any company. Will never book from Make My Trip and suggest same to everyone. I booked a trip from New Delhi to Toronto and I received email from make my trip that my flight is impacted/rescheduled, someone will call me to inform on this but I didn’t received any call and I tried to call them 10 times, they always ask me to be on hold ("We are transferring your call.") and then after 30 to 33 minutes hold they disconnect my phone .. no clear information is given by them. ** service.. I'm frustrated now, at least let me know that my flight is cancel or what. I don’t know that I will be flying or not!! I'm losing myself now..

    We booked our airline ticket for Japan and wanted to cancel/reschedule due to outbreak of COVID-19. We are hunting like a mad dog for getting customer support on account of COVID-19 outbreak. We want to rescheduling the Singapore Airlines ticket booked with this agency Makemytrip.com online. They do not have any live customer support e-mail or helpline number to connect to any passengers. Their website does not reflect for any changed rules of Singapore Airlines cancellation or reschedule due to the pandemic COVID-19 outbreak.They keep providing false web links and fake emails which never work. I am extremely unhappy with this company. They are careless people. They care for the money received to them through their customers and have forgotten about the services and customer care. I feel sorry. All the airline passengers must make a note of this while doing any booking on this site.

    I book ticket in make my trip from Chennai to Dubai, and I want to change date due to Covid 19, there is no option at all, simply steal my money, I wonder how a site can openly steal money and I am very sure we can't do anything, the value of ticket is 8900 INR. But I usually give 100 rupees if I see a beggar, I was convinced my self of giving 100 to all employees and managers beggar of 89 people's in MMT. No one shall say worst than this. Good thing is that I have a community wats app group which have 890 person. I forwarded the details and advised not to book in. Make my trip the worst worst ever.

    Hi guys, Please do not book for your holidays in MakeMyTrip. I have had the worst experience with it. They stoop down to any level, to do their business even at the cost of putting people’s lives in danger. I had booked my holiday in MakeMyTrip for Bali from 30th March 2020 for 7days. I had paid 47k in advance, but now unfortunately due to National emergency (Coronavirus) it is not advised to travel, I had to cancel my trip. But these people are not ready to refund even some amount of money for cancellation. I do agree they cannot give 100% but then as we are cancelling prior they can return at-least some amount of it.

    They are not even responding properly to my mails or call. The worse part is when the whole world is advising you to not travel and stay safe, the make my trip executives lie through their teeth. They tell you it’s perfectly safe to travel even though you see coronavirus cases spiking at different places there. I sincerely hope that this disgusting attitude of theirs change.

    Reschedule tickets due to Coronavirus. I booked my flight tickets through MakemyTrip and struggling from so many days for rescheduling my tickets. They do not pick up calls and we have to wait for 30 mins before you can get through to someone and every time you have to repeat the same story again and again. Calling makemy trip from UAE wasting my money and no one is answering or they ask to put booking id number. When mentioning that also it says wrong.     Very very bad experience with the company MMT, people don't pick their call. It's like they just care for their money. That's it. Even tried to call the team before a week. They don't respond to the call and after the phone got connected they will have some technical difficulties to resolve your issue.

    Hello All, I have booked my flights (Emirates Airlines) from DXB-DEL and DEL-DXB. Now due to change in plans, I had TO rebook my flight to future dates. For this, I tried online via MakeMyTrip website and makemytrip mobile app. But both resulted in continuous redirection to screen where they provided the customer care number on the screen to contact. Now, when I tried calling their number, it is resulted in indefinite hold on phase, saying, "There is high volumes of call and we will respond soon." I tried almost full day contacting their customer support vanishing my all balance with no success. I call around 10 times, waiting almost 50-55 minutes each time, that someone will pick call, but no success.

    Now the fun part: When we call the customer care number, then the machine ask us dial 1 for new booking and 2 for existing booking, so in my case as I was having existing booking, so they were putting me on continuous hold. Now to check, I dial option 1 (ie for new booking) then you will not believe that they pickup up the call in only 2nd ring, and it is not one time, I tried this multiple times and with same response. At the end, I can recommend you all, only this much, that you can book your flight through makeymytrip only if you want to go through worst customer experience. In fact you can say that there is no customer support for existing customer. They are making the customers fool. That's all.

    *PAY* *ATTENTION*. I had the worst flight booking experience with MakeMyTrip. I had a flight on 21 Feb 2020 at 3:00 am through Air Arabia. As it was our first international flight. We confirmed each day before boarding the flight about the completion of all the formalities. We were assured that everything is done and we can board a flight without any issue.

    They told me I would be requiring OK TO BOARD as I had ECR PASSPORT. They sent an email stating ok to board is confirmed. But once I reached the airport, the staff told me I don't have the ok to board. I mean this is ridiculous. No one took responsibility from the MakeMyTrip team to help me. Me and my friend I booked round flight tickets with makE my trip, hotel and visa as well. We are really disappointed with the assistance we got. I mean this is the way they fulfill their responsibility for their customers?.

    At the end one of my friend went to Sharjah from Dubai which almost cost him AED 304 (to & fro) to visit air arabia office and to get ok to board for which he paid AED60. IT WAS SUCH AN INCONVENIENCE FOR HIM AS WELL. I could lose my entire journey if my friend did not help me. What if, our friends didn't live there. We were stopped at the check in counter & immigration which was so irritating and insulting. We called MMT helpline but no one helped. We were given number but that was closed 18001027814. These numbers just listen to the whole situation but don't get me any solution ** & **. A person with No. ** also just wasted my time and asked for the document like my passport PAN card which I had already submitted.

    I booked 2 tickets with Makemytrip websites and they didn't updated my passport details with flight company because makemytrip didn't asked for passport and dob proof during flight booking. Now when I am trying to contact them they are simply not responding on mail or call. I also tried by chat with ID ** but I didn't hear anything since 4th of March and still waiting for their reply. I can simply say the customer support service is worst. They don't care about existing customers. Really painful. In past I booked ticket with Ibibo and the experience was quite better.

    I have just experienced a hell bad experience with MakeMyTrip, customer service was a big zero, never understand their customers, I have been following for my issue from last 1 week but there is no help regarding the same issue, and the issue was very small, they ruin/change their own policies. This is my first experience and same was very bad. They never take responsibility for their flights and mistakes, they just said that talk to direct airlines, if I need to direct talk to airlines then why should I use MakeMyTrip. I will directly call airlines and book my tickets, etc., they are just fooling in anyways and never help in any manner.

    Seriously guys never use MMT for any type of booking, instead use any agent for booking, this is much better then this Makemytrip website. Use any other website but never use this hell website. I am really regret to use this website and seriously damn frustrated about my issue but they do not care about their customer and only prolong there issue for the next day. For details you can ask me on, I will tell you the whole experience in detail: **. But guys trust me. Never use this MakeMyTrip rest you can use Goibibo, or any other booking website.

    These people's are very irresponsible. I checked with my bank, they're saying they've not received any refund information from you. And you guys told me my refund will be processed with 3 days. I called and raised this complaint on 28th Feb. Still you have not released the refund. You may please release the refund, the rest I will take care with my bank here. 

    I'm calling from last 3 days. You people's are so irresponsible on this. Also you are saying 24×7 customer care service you providing, but I don't feel anything like that. Since three days there's no possible solution in this. I have been calling calling calling. No response. Really ridiculous customer service. Why you deducted my account without giving confirmed ticket? Answer me first. And now the refund also you're not releasing? Why? So disappointed with your service. When I called your customer service they put me on hold and they says they will connect me to higher authorities, but not yet connected and she noted my number also. Still I haven't received any updates.

    I am writing to you regarding my father’s travel to Thailand. To give you a background, I wanted to book a group tour package for my father (preferably a beach location in India) and called up MakeMyTrip for that. The customer care executive seemed very committed and suggested a trip to Thailand for my father. After much convincing, I agreed as the pricing and duration worked out fine for me. But my special request was, assistance for my father as he is a senior citizen (with limited communication skills in English) and this is his first international travel. But the customer care executive assured me that everything would be taken care of and I have nothing to worry about.

    I chose MakeMyTrip for its credibility and assurance. But to my horror, my father was left stranded at the Bangkok airport for almost 4 hours without any information. After multiple failed attempts to connect to the tour manager, he messaged/called me seeking for help. Fortunately, I had ISD activated on my phone and was able to make calls to Thailand and spoke to the Freddy and later Victoria asking for help to assist my dad.

    Victoria was helpful in resolving the issue and met with my father and re-worked his itinerary and confirmed the same to me over messages. This issue was caused due to incorrect arrival date being updated at the Thailand head office of MakeMyTrip, which was the fault of the booking agent, but my father and I had to bear the brunt of it. The trip, that was supposed to be 4 days-3 nights was now only 3 days-2 nights which is not fair for the kind of money that I paid.

    I can’t request for an extended day of the trip for my father as he is already scheduled to travel back tonight. In spite of knowing everything and after multiple calls/messages, the customer care executive (with whom I was in touch with) did not reverted since 24th Dec morning (which is unacceptable) and I didn't hear back from him for the next two days.

    I requested compensation for the loss that I incurred and the mental, emotional and physical trauma/ stress that not only my father, but even I had to undergo. After multiple follow ups from my side, they confirmed after one month they will refund some money and it will credited in 7-10 days. It's been one month now, and still the money is not refunded. What kind of customer service is this? Just pathetic.

    As MMT is quite popular I thought to book my honeymoon trip to Bali through them. I had the belief that they will maintain a good customer experience level. But the most annoying part is they are not even responding to my communications. They are simply ignoring. First of all the agent convinced me to book a villa. That time I felt it might be a good property. Next day when I came to know about so many negative reviews, I requested them to change the hotel. The concerned person told me that it can be done. There is enough time. But after multiple follow ups it didn't happen. Nobody is responding to my mails. My chats are being marked as closed. Even the relationship officer assigned to me is not picking up the call. I feel trapped and I don't know how to get out of it.

    Worst experience in my life with any travel agent website company, being a professional I have been very frequent flyer. I have booked my ticket from Make My Trip on 29th Jan 2019 with booking ID ** from Delhi to Mumbai (Air India AI-349) Flight timing - 04:00 am dept - 6.15 am arrive Mumbai, 2020-02-03. After 1 day I got to know that The timing of your upcoming flight booking has changed (Which is completely understood an Airline management-re-schedule). I was okay with notification got from MMT that at least I got to know my flight timing has changed now. This booking was for my younger brother who is going to face a final interview for his first job and he has to report at 8 am on 3rd Feb anyhow.

    I called up team MMT, Riyansh for checking. How can he manage now and how can he reach on time because there was no flight before 7 am 3rd Feb, by which he can attend interview on time. I have now option if I can get back my paid amount to MMT as refund and do a new booking. But I took option to go with MMT and asked Riyansh ** to book a new flight for me. In first he told me that there is no responsibility of MMT if flight has been rescheduled from Airline and we can't do anything except refund. I have requested him to connect me with Airline. He took Janavi (Air India) then over the conference call and I was shocked when both doing started blaming game on themselves Where Janavi told it is responsibilities of booking agency and Riyansh told that Airline can do for you and arrange alternate flight and might be timing can be different.

    Since there was a dependency of timing I was not comfortable with this option at all. Again I have requested from both please provide a alternate flight but timing should be same or before it. Again I am felt now I am in trouble when Airline has no such flight in my slot. Anyhow after several request another representative Mr. ** booked flight for me G8 2501, PNR - P5RLNS, Delhi to Mumbai Depart 2.40 am - 4.55 am arrive 03 Feb 2020, Again same thing happened with me.. when I tried to complete web check in it failed and shown PNR has been cancelled. I called up again MMT and I was connected to Manjeet this time. He had told me a new story that flight has cancelled from Airline. He escalated call to Gaurav after denied to provide alternate ticket.

    You can understand here I am a customer and I am always at suffering side even after paying money to them. After 4 hours of call I was again connected a new representative Ajit. He told me: "As discussed with you over the call we would like to inform you that we have communicated with airline and they have confirmed that your PNR has been cancelled. So we will be validating the case from our side and if the case from our side and if we will found at fault we will owner the case and process the refund along with fare difference if any. So we requested you to kindly share the e ticket and invoice for the new booking that you will make."

    He told me yes cancellation is done from their side but they are not sure and need to investigate about this. I has asked many times that please don't let me suffer. My brother need to attend this interview. Hope you all now understand here that now MMT has completely changed here from make my trip to wrecked my trip.

    People like MMT are playing with our precious time, they don't have any value of that. Please spread this message so we all should be aware from cheater like MMT and don't face such kind of burglary....I will definitely say you are not make my trip. You guys are wrecked my trip.... If this the way MMT treats the customers then I would never ever use MMT services in future and discourage others as well. Shame for such behavior from such a so called reputed travel Firm.

Checked with bus operator and they confirmed Make My Trip has the responsibility as I booked through Make My Trip thinking that it's a reliable service and support will be there.     I bought an Indigo ticket to fly from Hyderabad to Bangalore on 18 Dec 2019 from Makemytrip.com counter at the Hyderabad airport. This was on-the-spot purchase as a missed my earlier SpiceJet flight as the incoming flight from United States arrived late. The makemytrip agent gave me a paper copy of the ticket which enabled me to board the aircraft. I requested the counter agent to email me an invoice and an eTicket, which he promised but never received it through an email.

    I spent countless hours talking to their dumb chatbot to get an invoice for my tax records. The chatbot goes in a loop and keeps asking for the same information. There is no provision for speaking to a human customer service rep. Still the problem is unresolved. Talking to them on the phone did not help either. The issue is that the customer service agents do not want to listen to what the customer is saying. They are busy gossiping with their fellow customer service agents.

    In August 2019 I had booked Mum-Houston-Mum through Makemytrip. They offered tie up with HDFC credit card for 3 installment payment with full cashback from Makemytrip. I completed the trip yesterday, 7th Jan 2020 but in spite of repeated reminders and submission of HDFC card statements for each of the months as evidence of no cashback, they did not credit the promised amount till date. As a NRI, I spent a lot of time and money to call them, receive their call, send evidence by email etc. Be wary of their promises.

    I booked a cab through MakeMyTrip from Mahabalipuram to Tirupati on 17th December, cab arrived 3 hours later than scheduled time and it was full of dust and ants were crawling everywhere. Made a call to complain to makemytrip, they take hours to verify everything and there was issue with language, Driver knew only Tamil and none of call centre staff in Makemytrip could communicate with Driver. They did not provide us replacement as it was quite late in the day and we were short of time, we were left with no choice other than to continue our journey with promise from driver that he would get car cleaned on the way, which never happened. Then AC water was continuously leaking on my foot at the front passenger seat. Makemytrip did not do anything about this, I am highly disappointed with the service and would not want to use them again.

    The SpiceJet flight from Delhi to Shirdi at Terminal 2 on 27 Dec. 2019 was cancelled without any intimation and they offered us to take the flight from T3 for Mumbai which was in the evening and we with little kids had to manage our own journey first from Terminal 2 to Terminal 3 and then had to take cabs from Mumbai to Shirdi for whole night journey. After then another flight got cancelled and that was from Shirdi to Delhi on 30th Dec. Yes this time they informed us on time but we have been offered flight from Aurangabad and that is also on next day. Again we had to book another cab for journey from Shirdi to Aurangabad, which in itself is four hours journey and then for spending a night in Aurangabad, which was Nirmal Residency (again booked through MMT) was a pathetic hotel.

    So moral of the story is that SpiceJet can cancel any flight and would not assist you for the problems caused by them.

    Make My Trip has charged me 1.6 K for 6 days for the trip but they couldn't provide quality service. Please find the comments.

    1. I informed sales and operations team, one day before my travel that the hotel in Delhi has some issue as they are going to charge money for kids which hotel say is not part of voucher. They didn't bother to respond and when I reached hotel on day 1 itself this issue araised and there was no confirmation till Monday evening. I have to call and explain to many people about the problem.

    2. Cab provided is not up to mark. Vehicle provided was very old and the vehicle provided is on resale on OLX. This was conveyed by the cab driver only. Since it is peak season they were running all vehicles. This is how booking is done for cab by make my trip and I am charged 55000 for 6 day service. Moreover the Cab was booked as drop vehicle only but cab driver was not ready to go anywhere after 5 PM due to traffic as if traffic is being seen by him for the first time. In spite of my complaint vehicle was replaced only on 4th day. Cab driver was so confident that vehicle will not be replaced till 4th day and same thing happened. Cab driver says this is always the issue with make my trip service and I am not the first customer to get this type of service.

    3. Delhi Hotel is booked faraway in Gurgaon which is Haryana border with 10 KM away. I went for sight seeing in delhi and not haryana which is 1.5 hours of travel time to delhi morning and 1.5 hours in evening is wasted in travel. This is a common sense that hotel should be booked near site seeing places not where make my trip get benefit and get profits at expense of customers bad service.

    4, Agra hotel is booked in commercial place whereas Taj Mahal tourist place is faraway from the hotel. Travel time is 1 hour in morning and 1 hour in evening. Make my trip gets benefit with faraway hotels and they make profit at expense of customer's bad service.

    5. Jaipur hotel was worst hotel. In fact I took the snaps of hotel room and shared with the make my trip people but no response. I had to complain to hotel directly to change the room. Hotel is far away and 1.5 hours of journey to sight seeing morning and 1.5 hours journey in evening. Food quality provided was not up to the mark.

    6. In spite of paying so much money for my trip and planned so detail make my trip spoiled my whole trip and had issues at everywhere. If you cannot provide proper service then why charge so much money. Either you are running the company only for profits or you are least bothered about customers. Make my trip people don't respond on Saturday and Sundays.

    7. After all this issues you are providing me 3% of the money paid to you as a compliment for providing the bad service. Finally you accept that you provided a bad quality service.

    Recently I made a booking for family vacation in Cherai Beach Cochin. Based on the listing Cherai Sea View Villa popped out first with 5star rating and price reflected its rating. Booked for days and happily travelled towards the destination to find it a lousy third rated property and star rating self posted by the owners I believe and Makemytrip made a fool out of me and when complained as usual the customer care keeps calling and Every time they would ask "what the concern is". I got fed up explaining to each one them which finally was closed without any resolution. Henceforth will refrain from using makemytrip and would also not recommend to anyone. Don't use makemytrip.

    This is the worst website to book any flight tickets. I booked two tickets from HYD to Shirdi. Initially the price shows 8000 rupees for two tickets. I clicked to proceed. It added some surcharges around 3000, still proceeded, later it added user development fee..What the hell is this??? What is user development fee, later added convenience fee of another 900 rupees...It came to 12,300 after that. While confirming again it increased another 200 rupees. ....Ohhh my Godddd. Just get the hell out of here...No more MakeMyTrip reservations..Never recommend.. Don't see the listed prices and proceed...You will end up almost double by the time you complete booking..

    MMT were informed my flight was rescheduled from Dhaka to Varanasi; they advised me I accepted via phone. In the meantime Indigo Airlines refunded them the money they told me they rebooked. Issued me a confined ticket in October, when I went to board indigo claimed the seat was not rebooked. They asked 34,000 Taka for a new seat, original price was 9kINR. I was stranded at the airport. Paid $600US for new tickets and hotel for overnight stay. I called MMT. They claim it was indigo Airlines that messed up. Indigo claim it was MMT. No one took responsibility and I was stranded with a further $200AUS phone bill.

    There is zero customer service and ZERO care for pilgrims who trust these facilities to simply do the most basic of transactions - honour the deal that they claim they are handling. I am so disappointed that my travel started like this and that I am so out of pocket due to there being zero customer service and no transparent communication. I emailed MMT days ago, flight was 18 December 2019. Have not heard a word. People should truly be wary of using their services as there is zero care factor if things don’t go as planned-book directly via the airlines, Indigo lack ethics too, but at least they will follow up somewhat - between indigo and MMT I am out of pocket $700US due to this bung up, it’s shameful.

    Recently I had booked a international hotel "OYO 120 JA Siam City Superior" in Thailand in MMT for 7th December 2019 2:00 AM. The hotel check in timing was mentioned 2:00 AM in MMT voucher that we received in mail and when we reached the hotel we were denied checkin and asked to wait outside. The hotel staff told us the check in happens only from 2:00 PM to next day 12:00 PM everyday. We were standing on road for 2 hours trying to contact customer care. The people who chat in customer care without reading our chat close the complaint. They do not have patience to read our complaint. I had to rebook the hotel for that particular day till 2:00 PM by paying extra Thailand Baht.

The extra price added and what was showing in deal that was not after booking. There was no proper support from Customer care. With direct statement we cannot do anything.     I would let anybody looking for a deal not to use this service. They give you great pricing for hotels that do not have rooms. I booked a Hilton for $89 night showed up there after a 4 hour flight and was told that I was the 3rd person that day that did not have a room.     When I booked my room the amount was displayed as INR 5511 (Including all taxes and charges) after that only I booked my room. But the deduction was for INR 7058. I have been cheated by MMT for INR 1547. I tried to communicate this issue with MMT customer care at the same time and they keep stating it will be resolved in 24-48 Hrs. But even after 10 days, no efforts were made by MMT to at least give a call for assurance. Now today they responded after my initiating chat as no one responds to emails, MMT has resolved this issue and will not refund the balance amount. Terrible, MMT should not be used anymore now.

    I booked a 2 night 3 days trip through MakeMyTrip at hotel Sonar Bangla in Mandarmoni for 3 guests from Nov 9 to Nov 11, 2019. A week before the trip my grandmother expired for which I called Make My Trip to cancel my trip and give me a full or partial refund. The first customer care representative who I talked to confirmed after talking to the owner of Sonar Bangla that they cannot refund me the money but offered if we decide to stay at Sonar Bangla anytime before 11 Dec, they can reschedule the booking at no extra cost. I agreed to that and asked them to change our booking from Dec 7- Dec 9. The first MMT agent confirmed that she will do that for me.

    An hour later I got another call from agent 2 of MMT saying that Sonar Bangla has now refused to change my booking as they didn’t believe that my grandmother died and that they need to see a death certificate. After much argument over the phone agent 2 realized that agent 1 made a mistake on her part and told wrong dates to Sonar Bangla. So instead of Dec 7-9 she typed Nov 7-9. After this was clarified agent 2 promised that there should not be any more issue and that he can confirm my rescheduled booking from Dec 7-9. An hour later agent 3 from MMT called me now saying that Sonar Bangla has again refused to reschedule our booking and they can only reschedule our booking if we go on weekdays before Dec 11 but not on any weekend.

    I am a working professional and I cannot take week days off. Moreover on the first instance when MMT agent talked to Sonar Bangla they did not mention this weekday condition. They said as long as I reschedule my booking on any day before Dec 11 they can do that for us. I don’t know who is trying to bluff me, MMT or Sonar Bangla but either or both of them just want to take my money for free without providing us any service. Horrible service. Horrible experience. Please don’t ever go through Make My Trip for any booking.

    A Big No to Make My Trip! No more hotel bookings through them! Never again!!. I had booked a hotel room in Madurai, but immediately had to prepone the booking date by a day. They made me pay the rent twice telling it will be refunded. When called up regarding the refund money, they said nothing can be done as it is part of their cancellation policy. Isn't this outright cheating? Isn't this broad daylight looting??

    Multiple phone calls were made narrating the incident & asking refund for the first booking to the customer support, their supervisors and bosses. Sadly everything just went to deaf ears! Not even a partial refund! On checking with the hotel directly, they confirmed they had received the payment only once.     I booked the trip to Goa last month on 23rd September with these MakeMyTrip people, the trip was not booked though money has been paid by me. Amount rs 41495/-. Till yet after several reminders on mails approx 53 mails and n number of home calls the money has not yet refunded..these people are cheap and frauds. Every day I mail them and ask for the refund. They have stopped responding from past 15 days. Neither they are providing any contact number of the higher person with whom we can talk about the issue. When I ask for my refund, they simply say that ICICI Bank would refund it in next 7 days. These 7 days have not finished yet according to MakeMyTrip team. It's almost a month my refund has not yet credited. If this review has been reached to some brain head person, do call me over my number and revert for the same.     They are such a fraud. I booked a air ticket Delhi to Auckland. When I went to check in counter Airline denied to board me because that ticket was fake it was not even mentioned about my full trip.     It’s all sweet while making a booking through MakeMyTrip (MMT), BUT their service is very poor, pathetic, unprofessional when it comes to any problem, cancellation, refund or even flight cancellation by the airline. Even if you cancel the booking, they may even forget to inform the airline. MMT’s staff is just robotic, has no willingness to even understand your problem or solve your problem (maybe because they don’t get commissions while working on your problems), They will keep on passing the bug, never honor commitments, never act and you will end up fighting with them for months and months.     My experience with Make my trip is the worst. The service and information they are providing to the customers is not perfect. I booked flight Hyd to Halifax on 13th Sep 2019. When I am booking they did not mention transit visa is required for that flight. In the airport they asked me transit visa. When I contacted make my trip customer service I talked to almost 10-12 people. Every one is giving different information. No one is providing proper correct information. I called almost 30 times. There is no proper response from them. I suggest don’t trust make my trip.

    I did my hotel booking on MakeMyTrip.com and every I went to make the payment the booking date always got reset to the default date which was 27th Sep, whereas I wanted the booking for 9th Oct. I would go back and again do the booking, I did this twice and finally saw that the date was 9th oct, however when I received the voucher it showed 27th Sept, I immediately called the hotel ITC Grand Ridge Tirupati and told them that this has happened so pls change the booking date to 9rg Oct, they asked me to talk to MMT, these MMT call Center guys are indulging in day light robbery. They said nothing can be done and I should cancel the booking. I have lost Rs 6161/- on account of an issue with the date picker in MMT. I will never ever use them, not only are they cheats but they are also misusing our data which it takes at the time of registration. I would like all of you to be aware that this company, is no unicorn, but run by lumpen fraudsters, both their Mgmt and leadership is full of deceitful folks.     Booked an international experience booking for Austria. First they don't share any vendor details like name or contact number of vendor. Later the pickup location mentioned on the application was different from the location details mentioned in vendor voucher. This voucher was shared after I came back to India.     I booked a car rental through MakeMyTrip for 3 nights, 4 days. The website asks for a city of origin and destination and so I specified an origin and destination location. The booking confirmation clearly stated I have 920 Kms for 4 days with a condition that I can't do any "sightseeing" around the city of origin. Once I got into the car, the driver said that MakeMyTrip would only allow me to travel from the origin to desination and back and no side trips more than 10Kms are allowed around the destination city.

    The return trip distance between the origin and destination was only around 600kms. I rang the customer service and asked if I can take a side trip (round trip 80kms) from the destination city as I thought I had around 300kms extra to use. Shockingly, I was told that they have a "policy" that no side trip more than 10kms is allowed! The driver refused to take me anywhere and demanded Rs 11 per Kms for side trips even though I had 300 unused Kms!

    I repeatedly complained to customer service that they have imposed a policy on me that I was never made aware when I first booked the rental. I escalated the issue as much as I could but there was no understanding of the fact that THEY MISLED THE CUSTOMER - When you get a booking for 4 days and 920kms with no mention of the above mentioned policy, they are misleading the customer! PLEASE AVOID BOOKING CAR RENTAL USING MAKEMYTRIP or think, ask and clarify exactly what is included and not before booking.

    I booked air ticket online under Booking Number ** on 11th Sept 2019. There is an EMI Payment Option available at the website for an extra Payment. In my case it showed Rs 38972 for NON EMI Option and Rs 42292 For EMI Option. I selected EMI Option and Paid Rs 42292. But even as on 25th Septemeber 2019, No emi conversion is shown in My card. When I contacted the Bank, I was asked to contact the merchant. When I contacted the merchant initially I was asked to contact bank. Thus for a short period I became Surpanakha of Ramayan shunted between Ram and Lakshman. Then I followed up with customer support and found most of them illiterates. One person informs it has to be done in 5 days, another informed 15 days, Yet another 15-20 days.

    In short the company do not seem to know what is EMI except that they earn extra premium for nothing like EMI provided to customer. In fact I came under pressure from to Pay Rs 42292 and I voluntarily converted the amount by paying process fees at 2% and Interest rate at 16%. In the Process of booking I lost Rs 3320 when I opted for EMI and the company did not Honour the same. Advice is never select EMI option at this site since the merchant personnel do not know what is that and will just sleep informing 15-20 working days for EMI conversion but they will never work.

    Recently I stayed in this hotel for two days, August 30 and 31, 2019. I booked this hotel using Makemytrip.com. I made my booking months before my arrival. I made request for two beds and early arrival. When I arrive they didn't have any room available. Finally, they gave me the room after 1pm. The room had only one bed. When I complained about it they said they don't have any room available with 2 beds. I had to tell them "I AM NOT GAY AND I AM NOT GOING TO TO SLEEP WITH ANOTHER MALE IN THE SAME BED". After a long discussion they provided an extra bed. Till we left they couldn't give us a room with two beds.

    During checkout they said everything is paid and I don't owe them anything. After returning to USA I saw a charge of 11.29 USD on my credit card which was very disturbing. I disputed to my credit card company as a fraudulent charge. On the travel site it's listed as a 5-star hotel. It can barely pass the standards of a 1-star hotel. The hotel is a big mess. 5 star property rating is made up and very very misleading. Just avoid this hotel. AVOID THIS HOTEL UNLESS YOU WANT TO GET DISAPPOINTED AND RIPPED OFF. THE MANAGEMENT STAFF ARE VERY INCOMPETENT. I am surprised how this hotel is running and not audited.

    Pathetic professionalism from MakeMyTrip. Following up for 1.5 months for my hotel cancellation refund. Still they continue to say I will get my refund in 24 hrs every time. Prathiman (customer service executive) who attended my calls twice is useless. I'm still waiting for the call from his manager. A big lesson learnt.... Strongly advice everyone to not cancel booking and suffer like me...Better stay away from makemytrip.

    Please don't book OYO hotels from MakeMyTrip. I had booked one hotel for AC room previous day when I went to hotel. Those people gave reason that our AC is not working. I somehow adjusted that day but again next day when I booked on another hotel same thing happened. I mean I want to know why every time when I am booking an AC room from MakeMyTrip those hotel people are telling there is no ac room and after that these rubbish MakeMyTrip peoples don't talk and neither refunded the money..really very poor service. These peoples are cheating customers like anything.

    Major Flaw - There is no facility to check/change or cancel a booking with the reference number. This is a feature missing and causing great inconvenience to its users. I am unable to access a booking done by my friend for me - I wanted to check on status/change name/date terms/cancellation policy on the booking with e-ticket and booking reference numbers- but still of no use to do any activity related to the booking. Customer support team was also helpless and had no clues to resolve the issue.

    I traveled from Jorhat to Delhi. Flight was with one halt at Calcutta. They issued me two separate ticket and I was forced to check in twice.     I purchased a set of international tickets through MMT, Kolkata office. They had issued the return ticket for a wrong date, contrary to their email quotation.     MakeMyTrip your 24 hour support services is a big time failure. When the customer calls for a complaint you put us on hold for like 30 min saying that it is been routed to concerned person and every time the person needs next 24 hrs to find a solution. Today after 5 days, still the issue is not resolved and the concerned person appointed who is the SUPERVISOR is now not coming on calls even after reminder mails to him. To add to this, your customer support team has no understanding and knowledge of how to handle such requests.

    My booking Id **. This is worst tour Co. as they charged as per discussion but failed the commitments made as after reaching destination they denied for many things mentioned in their itineraries and wasted my money and ruined trip and not responded contact. Ram ** choose MMT agency for the best trip and can enjoy my trip without any intention of getting the thing arranged and managing my trip but I felt it was the worst trip of my life as per personally I could have planned much better trip by myself. So I will write in points whatever I had issues with the trip:-

    (1)- As from the first day when we landed in Bangkok there was no transfer arranged by your team as I have already informed your team regarding the changes in timings of the flight way before. But your team did not took it seriously and you all wasted 3-4 hours at Bangkok airport and could have our dinner also as we were busy in arranging the things on our own. And then we reached Pattaya at 5'o clock in the morning and at 7'o clock your tour guide calls and says to be ready in 15 minutes or else he gonna leave us as it was like we have been doing formality by making this trip as we did not came here to enjoy and relax.

    (2)- When we came to Bangkok airport on 20th August from Pattaya for the Krabi flight when we reached the airport we came to know that flight has been delayed for about 3 hours which was booked by your team itself and we were not informed about this and when we contacted for this they said, "Sorry we forget to tell," and by this we wasted our whole day at Bangkok airport as we could have planned something if we were informed.

    (3)- When we reached Krabi we came to know that you all haven't added Phi Phi Island tour as I have already paid for that and your agent told me to pay 2000TBH per person if we want to go so by this you all wasted that day too and when we reached hotel we saw that the hotel room doesn't even have AC in that room and it was low grade room and as I paid for 3 star hotel and did not have expected this kind of standard from MMT. And as I did not had any option left I had to stay in that room and when I informed your team about this they took the whole day to solve this problem approx 9 pm and that day of our even got wasted as your agency did not planned anything for us that but took money from us.

    (4)- When we came back to Bangkok from Krabi as that day special so I planned a honeymoon value pack for that day and as these thing were even mention in the PDF you all provided at the time of payment but I don't know how irresponsibly you all managed the things and wasted that day too and at evening there was cruise ride planned for us but that day none of your tour guide contacted us and after all these thing I had to contact you all for so many times due to which I got very disturbed with this and due to which all of us couldn't enjoy anything and were expecting to quickly over this trip.

    As I planned this trip for my partner as there was special day for her but you 'll ruined our trip and I hope not to choose MMT next time for any of my trips and going to suggest others also not make mistake which I made as you all wasted my time, money and mood. I have sent all the attachments you all can go through this. And once again thank you MMT for arranging such a worst trip.

    MakeMyTrip automatically adds extra charges to your booking WITHOUT CONSUMER CONSENT. The consumer only gets to know of these charges AFTER their credit card is charged. By which time it is too late to cancel, because those charges are NON-REFUNDABLE. THIS IS FRAUD. Always better to book airline tickets DIRECTLY from the airline website.

    The biggest mistake I made for this trip was to book a package through MakeMyTrip.com. I have been a loyal MakeMyTrip customer for more than 15 years. This led me to make a package tour booking from your organization. After my trip, I can safely say this was the worst mistake of my life. With your kind of incompetent customer care, you can very well call my trip as SpoilMyTrip.com.

    The trip got off to a horrendous start from the moment I landed in Istanbul on 25th June 2019 at 6:20 pm. In order to confirm the pickup time for my tour the next day, I call Viator, the company whose voucher was given by Makemytrip for that trip. To my surprise, they reply saying that there is no such tour. It had been cancelled by Makemytrip. My heart skips a beat. I invest Rs 4 lakhs for the trip and right on the first day, my tour is cancelled. I felt like your organization was throwing my money down the drain. I felt cheated.

    Then start the innumerable calls made to Ramya, the MakeMyTrip employee responsible for my tour. Ramya responded saying that she is sending a mail to customer care team who will call me. I never receive any call. This further increased the sense of panic and anxiety. The Viator representative whatsapped me the cancellation of my voucher. It was done on 17th June, much before my trip starts. In fact, he had also called me regarding the cancellation and this was communicated to Ramya. She had confirmed that there were no issues and that the Ops team is handling it.

    I had then asked Ramya to talk with Viator regarding my situation, but she said that she cannot call since its 11:30 pm. I was told that a mail was sent to customer care would call me to clear this up. Needless to say, no call ever came and I was stranded, hopelessly trying to handle it on my own. I kept calling her desperately, telling her that no call has come to me. She expresses her helplessness on the same. I’m attaching the Whatsapp conversation with customer care and Ramya as proof.

    This was not the end of nightmares for me that day. While I was waiting for my flight to Kusadasi, I figured there might be a possibility that the entire trip might have been cancelled by MakeMyTrip. So I call my hotel, who neither understand my name, the booking reference or your organization's name, and deny any booking in their hotel. During my entire flight to Kusadasi, I felt like I have been stranded in an unknown land with nowhere to go but the streets. Apparently you had booked the room through some external agency. Fortunately the hotel could recognize the voucher when I reached there.

    On repeated assurances that my situation was being handled, I kept waiting for a call till the last moment, and so lost the very first day of my trip. Since your substandard and unprofessional management could not solve my problems, I had to take whatever tour I could manage locally. Then, As advised by Ramya, I kept calling the emergency numbers given in the vouchers to be on the safer side. They were all international numbers for which I was not sure if chargeable.

    Again the agony continues, On 29th I had a local trip for which the car was supposed to come at 8:40 am but did not turn up. I kept calling the customer care and call centre number. Both were unable to contact the vendors. My mobile bill and blood pressure continued to rise. Finally I was giving up on the trip. But God came to my rescue, the drivers turns up at 9:30 am. The day tour relieves me of the pressure a bit.

    Not surprisingly, the same situation continues the next day: calling Ramya, customer care and call centre numbers. MakeMyTrip was hell bent on making my trip as Spoiltrip.com. On 30th I kept calling the call center and the numbers given in vouchers however the transfer car does not arrives. Imagine in a city where you are not aware of anything and you are completely lost. Last minute I calls to Ramya. The answer is I will send a mail to customer care, they will call back. There is no call back. I take the help of the hotel manager who was very kind and could understand my agony arranges for a taxi. Even Ramya feels helpless as she mentions in Whatsapp but at least is connected and keeps advising to take a taxi. I will need you to reimburse the same. What about the agony and anxiety suffered by me. Why should I suffer due to your incompetencies and negligence.

    By this time I am exhausted as the anxiety and stress suffered have left me with no interest in the tour. With little energy left after fighting with the Makemytrip systems, I had to continue as I had paid the amount to MakeMyTrip. So I was left to the mercy of the call centre numbers and customer care numbers where every time a different person picked up and hence I had to tell the same story again and again. I had gone way past my limit for patience and was utterly frustrated.

    So my agony continues. On 1st July I had a trip to Bosphorus tour. The voucher says includes transport however no transport came. The call centre kept saying please reach on time to the departure point. The departure point as mentioned in the voucher was "RAMADA Grand Bazaar Istanbul. " These are two different places. Ramada Grand Bazaar and the RAMADA hotels (There are many hotels named Ramada in Istanbul). The voucher said I will get a call a day before the trip however no such call came. I kept trying all the number to inform however no one picked up. Your call centre is unable to identify. Their only response was that they were checking and get back.. With Ramya the same response that I am writing a mail and customer care will call back.

    So I went to Grand Bazaar and showed the voucher to the shopkeepers and locals. No one could identify the location as they were 2 different places. Some shopkeepers kept sending us to different directions to try some tour operators in the same area. The heat exhausted us and finally with no conclusions we went to RAMADA Hotel. The voucher does not mention the word ‘Hotel’ or the complete address anywhere. The address is different for the hotel and Grand Bazaar.

    Anyway, we reached the hotel at 8:20 am even though we had left at 7:20 am. The manager said that the bus had already left. All calls were in vain. The manager unlike MakeMyTrip.com made a lot of efforts, Initially asking us to contact the booking agent. Then, understanding our situation, calls from his own connects and tells us to run after the bus. He walks 500 meters with us to get us a taxi leaving behind his desk job. HATS OFF TO THIS GUY. Dil khush kare dete aise log. With experience of MakeMyTrip I had lost all faith in customer care altogether.

    After lot of tension and stress we keep looking at our watch and pray that we get the bus or else we will lose this trip as well. All this while the call continues. Finally, we get the bus. The coordinator was laughing why the pickup was not made from our hotel, which was very near to their pickup point. The final day was an even bigger tragedy. I had two vouchers for the same date and had called Makemytrip a day before for confirmation since the timing was not mentioned in the 2nd voucher. Makemytrip said there is no problem. The trip coordinator will take care of everything.

    At 8:00 am 2 cars come to pick me up, one for Istanbul monuments trip and other for Green Bursa. They were as confused as I was regarding the mix up of bookings. The call centres unable to help. After innumerable calls and Whatsapp Anuradha from customer care after 30 min asks "Sir, aap ki 2 gadi aa gayi hai to issue kya hai". I would have killed myself at this point. But wahi Marta kya na karta. Bhagti bhoot ki langoti bhali.

    However I had to arrange something for myself so one of the guides decides to take me to Bursa. Even Ramya advises to go to Bursa. So we followed the instruction of the guide. However, the entire trip was in Arabic language. The tour guide was kind enough to translate what he said in english specially for us. The guide stops at one place and says that there is a safari for which we need to pay Rs 75 Lira, which was optional. The safari was actually just go-carting through the roads. I Don't spend Rs 4 lakhs to be lied to into doing things I could have done in an amusement park right here. Thinking that it was safari, we went and were fooled again. This whole tour was nothing but a lie.

    Since I had already paid the amount, Makemytrip was in the upper hand and I was at their mercy. However, I thought that at least I should update the customer care head regarding the misrepresentation, lies and outright cheating your department and company is doing to their customers. I also wanted to relieve myself of the pent up stress and anger and understand the status to which my situation had been ‘escalated’ to the authorities, as confirmed by customer care and Ramya. When I called customer care, I was asked to repeat the same story over again. I was fed up of talking to ineffective employees and wanted to talk to you directly. I had been insisting on talking to customer care head but to no avail.

    What I can understand from today's talk with customer care is that your company thinks the customer can suffer after you have cheated and extracted money out of them, but they will not bother their high and mighty Customer Care Head from his leisure to solve a problem which should have been solved ages ago. This is exactly what your employee, Banish and other agents tried to explain to me. They finally hung up with the confirmation that I will receive a call back tomorrow. One goes for vacation to relieve of the stress and anxiety. However, I would have rather gone on a trip to hell than on a packaged tour from MakeMyTrip.

    My self Dipak **, Yesterday night i.e 13th Aug, 2019 I booked 1 room at Meera Hotel, Mount Abu, Rajasthan from MakeMyTrip website and I also done online payment. After my booking I called the Hotel manager on number (9414201829) which is given on my Booking receipt for just to confirm my booking, but He replied that they are not booking rooms online by any website whether it is MakeMyTrip or Goibibo etc.. Further I told him that, "then why your hotel is showing in MakeMyTrip website and also I got your number from the booking receipt." I also told him to refund my money which is INR 5292/- for 3 nights (15th Aug to 17th Aug). My checkout date is 18th Aug. On this he replied that, ''You can take your refund from Makemytrip, I am not responsible for this refund."

    After above incident I called MakeMyTrip customer care 18001028747 and discussed above case with the one of your employee, he told, he will get back within 1 or 2 hour with solution but he didn't came yesterday. So today I again called at 1 pm around to support and talked with Chakravarthi (support exe.) and he told, "Your complaint is already registered and we are working on it and we will get back to you within 1 hour" and again nobody came back.

    Finally I called in support at 3.30 pm around and again talked with other support exe. He also told same thing which Chakravarthi told… I don’t know people are trusting MakeMyTrip site much than other sites but this kind of poor support are given to its customer. This is too in today's world where service become important part of any business… This is the level of service of MakeMyTrip?? Regards Dipak **.

    I made a flight booking for wrong date on MakeMyTrip.com. Realized my mistake within minutes and immediately called them to change the dates. MakeMyTrip 1-800 customer care does not connect from USA. Landline has IVR that would not take my US phone number for existing booking. Chat bot sucks. They responded on Twitter and Facebook promising to contact me asap. After 10 hours of anxiety and wait I finally reached the airline directly and they helped by cancelling the itinerary with FULL REFUND. If more time had passed, the airline would not allow any refunds for cancellation after 24 Hour window.

    Please note I had made booking in Pachmarhi for 10th and 11th 2 room. Due to heavy rain I had cancelled my plan on 9th and contacted customer care number on 9th but MakeMyTrip is not responding at all. They are just delaying the matter and on 10th I had received call from hotel stating that, "MakeMyTrip has not cancelled or extended your booking so we cannot do anything in this case." I have paid full amount of rs. 7100 in advance and the money has gone totally I think. This is just how MakeMyTrip is creating big money off customers.

    Hi... I am a solo traveler and booked my trip to Nepal. The hotel that was recommended as part of package wasn't good and few of my friends who visited gave a negative feedback. I contacted the agent to change the hotel and was following for 2 days, it didn't get resolved. I am really upset and doesn't have an option to cancel as it's told to me that package is totally non-refundable.

    I would like to share my experience for my recently hotel booking in Bhopal. Hotel name is RnB Bhopal. I booked the rooms through MMT. Rooms were small, stinking of stale smoke and musty odour of wood and paint. The walls were damp with peeling paint. Floors were dirty with equally dirty foot mat. The linen was dirty, yellowed and the towels were of poor quality. The bathroom was small, and had poor hygiene, with broken accessories I would not recommend for families. Picture shown on site does not match with actual property. I have pictures as a proof. Would not suggest to use MakeMyTrip. Better user Goibibo..

    We booked a hotel booking in MakeMyTrip website but hotel denied entry and told me they don’t accept MMT CUSTOMER. ME WITH MY WIFE, 2 year son and 6 year daughter were just standing in road. We called customer care people. Nobody gave adequate information and refused to do alternate hotel. 4 hours we suffered calling them because but no reply. Long call waiting.     BOOKING ID: **. We were a group of four girls and had booked a suite room in Citrus Chambers, Mahabaleshwar from 27/07/2019 to 28/07/2019, for four people through MAKE MY TRIP ONLINE PORTAL. While booking, we had specially written that the room should be for four people and pictures of two different rooms with different bed sheets and slightly different interiors in a single suite were shown to us on the MMT site. Accordingly believing that the suite room is with two bedrooms we booked the said suite for four people for a rate of Rs 14000 per night.

    On arrival, to our utter shock and surprise the suite had only one bedroom and the hotel offered to put extra mattress in the living room. We were disgusted at this behaviour. MMT was not willing to give us an extra room nor was willing to even admit their fault. They made false arguments and wasted our time for two hours stating that on a very close scrutiny of the pictures, it can be seen that the said pictures are of the SAME BEDROOM! We specifically told them that the booking was made for FOUR PEOPLE AND NOT FOR TWO PLUS TWO PEOPLE.

    In spite of it, MMT kept referring to their POLICY!! Their customer care Mr. ** and Mr. ** kept ranting about their policy. I don’t understand which policy allows people to cheat and dishonesty make them believe that there are two rooms and fleece money out of them! This conversation with MMT lasted for almost two hours and still we were not given remedy of 50% refund of the booking amount since one room itself never existed. This was sheer wastage of time and energy on our trip. This was a trip spoiler.

    Let me reproduce S. 420 of Indian Penal Code: “Whoever cheats and thereby dishonestly induces the person deceived to deliver any property to any person, or to make, alter or destroy the whole or any part of a valuable security, or anything which is signed or sealed, and which is capable of being converted into a valuable security, shall be punished with imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to seven years, and shall also be liable to fine.”

    We have been induced to make the booking by the dishonest intention of MMT and made to believe that the suite has two rooms. MMT has clearly defrauded us. I don’t understand what is the need to upload such deceptive pictures in the first place. Clearly there is collusion by MMT and the hotel. Further the customer care of MMT: Mr. ** and Mr. ** promised to escalate the matter with the escalation team and promised that the escalation team shall give us call back within 24 hours. Since the complaint was raised by us around 4 pm on 27/07/2019 the callback was expected around 4 pm 28/07/2019. However we received no call back.

    On enquiry we were informed that the concerned person was on leave. Further we were promised that the issue would be resolved by 29/07/2019. We received no call back on 29/07/2019 and even on 30/07/2019 till 5.30 pm that is day end. We have not received any call even till 31/07/2019 till 4.00 PM. It has been 5 days still not resolved. We need immediate remedy of refund of 50% of money for this offence of cheating committed by MMT.

    This is fraud app and don’t have proper customer care service..Customer care is **. They just provide wrong information to you. Even mmt shows that guest are allowed. Hotel will deny check-in. I paid 1300inr to go from station to Hotel Unity for return trip which was waste. MMT misguide and don’t have solution in hand. I was waiting for call for three hours and resolution got after 6 hours..not even alternate hotel. I got refund so after taking 1500inr refund I had to pay 3500 at one hotel.

    My friend and I planned our weekend trip in outskirts of Delhi on 27 July to 28 July on MakeMyTrip app. While searching on MakeMy Trip I applied filter of resort and swimming pool, got some options and checked amenity of swimming pool. I selected resort Ashok Country Resort, 30, Rajokri Road, Kapas Hera, New Delhi, in which amenity of swimming pool was shown on MMT App. I booked Ashok Country Resort and checking in said hotel on 27/07/19 at around 6:45 pm on pay at hotel option.

    When I checked in hotel manager at reception asked for booking amount so paid approx. 6720 in cash. Manager showed us our room and as for us swimming pool was the only one thing of interest. We approached to pool, but to our setback swimming pool was permanently closed and empty. I called MMT hotline regarding this. From MMT customer care service we got to know that hotel has legal issue so pool is not available. When I asked why pool is showing in amenity on app they said booking can not be cancelled instead offered me refund of Rs. 1800 against amount approx.6720. When I asked for another booking in replacement they simply forbade that.

    All this conversation took approx 1 hour and spoiled my mood as well as my precious weekend. After my complaint Swimming pool option was removed from amenity of that resort. I checked out from resort nearby 08:00 pm. This caused me to face humiliation in front of my friends. I wasted my money and my weekend due to negligence of MakeMyTrip. I want all my money in refund as this is a fault at your end and strong case of negligence as you are charging for amenities which are not available for customer. Please look in matter and refund my hard earned money.

    I am a student travelling for the first time to USA and I booked a flight via MakeMyTrip to Detroit. I booked the flight about 2 months early. The flight was scheduled to take off in Bangalore with layovers at Abu Dhabi and Rome. The flight was operated by Etihad till Abu Dhabi and by Delta Air Lines till Detroit. MakeMyTrip DID NOT INFORM ME of any transit visa that may be required. After about 1 month I was told by a friend that on calling Etihad Airways she was informed that since Etihad and Delta have no baggage agreement I will have to re-check in my baggage at Rome. Due to this I would require a transit visa.

    Initially when I called the MakeMyTrip customer support number I was informed that MakeMyTrip was NOT RESPONSIBLE for this. In fact, they had no information at all and that I would have to call the airlines personally to enquire about these changes. Please note that if a friend had not informed me of this I wouldn't have any idea till I reached the airport.

    After the initial call to MakeMyTrip, I made my own enquiries with the respective airlines. Only to find out from Etihad that they are no longer issuing tickets which have connecting flights with Delta. But MakeMyTrip still offered these flights! And without mentioning that a transit visa would be required. Best case, Etihad would not let me board the flight at Bangalore, worst case I'd be stranded in Rome. And would have to courier my baggage to Detroit! After this I cancelled my flight tickets, I lost about 10,000 in all the cancellation charges and had to book fresh tickets close to my departure date which cost me a further 40k.

    Booking is easy but updated information regarding agents are not available from MMT. No one take follow up from mmt or agent site. Tracking team is not working properly, due to this customer always suffer on online booking, especially bus booking on mmt. Customer care is very bad experience for me. They not give proper response. They also not known about case resolve situations. Only say "I raise your complain". But not any notification or complain no raise by them.     If you are abroad and need to contact them for anything whatsoever, don't even try. There is no way you can contact them, all emails bounce back, you cannot chat with them unless you have an Indian tel number. I managed to contact them on the phone once (after numerous attempts), got through to one chap who says he cannot help and to email them on supportz@makemytrip.com. Did that, immediately bounced back. Tried various other email IDs I could find on the internet but all bounced back! I have given up on trying to cancel and get a refund of my multiple domestic tickets (family of four) and will swallow the loss. Never again - MAKEMYTRIP!

    I booked railway tickets from MakeMyTrip but they were on wait list for quite some time. I decided to cancel the tickets since I made alternate arrangements. We needed confirmed tickets. When I went to the MakeMyTrip website, there is no option available for customers to cancel railway tickets booked from their website!! I called the listed customer service number twice: ** - and both times I was on hold for over 30 mins and no one came to the phone! There is no email id, no chat session - nothing available from the USA version of the website. Same thing on the India version of the website.     I had written a review detailing my stay with the hotel. MakeMyTrip took over 1 month to publish the review. They took out whatever they wanted and only allowed what was mutually beneficial to the hotel and the booking agent - MakeMyTrip. However, the Hotel replied to my review and directly insulted my female guest by stating she was an unsocial guest! In other words, my to be wife is now a prostitute to the opinion of this hotel! Why is it that the business partner (Hotel) of MakeMyTrip, gets to state whatever they want in their response to prevent embarrassment from factual events? But a customer is not allowed to state the facts so other consumers are aware of the issue. Consumers should have the right to give honest feedback.

    Such business tactics are deceptive to consumers. The hotel's response completely negates the adulterated review that MakeMyTrip.com published. If the original review would have been published, nothing the hotel could say would have been sufficient to explain the crime committed. Other people reading my review will not understand the injustice this hotel had done by violating the freedom of movement act and a supreme court hearing on the same matter! If consumers have a platform to read reviews before purchasing, then it should be free from adulteration. By changing the review for one party and allowing the other party to respond freely - consumers will lose. The system is corrupt!

    I booked for Ladakh Holiday package of 6N/7D on Jul 8, 2019 and made the payment of Rs, 10,000 on the same day. Then immediately realized that I cannot go on the said dates as there was something else which came up. I immediately called-up MakeMyTrip and asked them to cancel the trip, to be precise asked to cancel the trip on Jul 9, 2017 and asked for refund. They denied any refund stating as per policy any initial partial payment is non-refundable. I requested them as I have asked for cancellation the very next day after the payment and they would not have done any kind of arrangement for my travel in those 24hrs (I did not get any flight ticket booking as proof of their booking my travel). Still they denied any refund saying as per policy they cannot refund the Rs. 10,000.

    Belonging from a middle class family losing Rs. 10,000 for nothing is a huge deal. Their policy is like taking money from people and denying their own money for no reason. They are asking money for free. This way I can also open a company and make such ridiculous policies and become a billionaire in no time and call myself a entrepreneur from big shot colleges. This is plain profiteering at the expense of making a dent in customers' pocket and rendering them poor. MakeMyTrip is here to make or seek excessive, unfair profit without anyone there to monitor. This is unethical. They don't care for their customers, they want money by any means.

    Spent lots of money on a 5 Star trip to Himachal Pradesh for my family of 9. They didn’t deliver what they promise, made us pay more out of our pocket, promising that they will refund after the trip and refuse to call me back when I demanded an answer.     Hello. I have very bad experience with MakeMyTrip booking. Had my Maldives trip booked with MakeMyTrip with full payment done approx one month in advance. On the day trip at airport from airline I come to know that flight is cancelled and when I contact MakeMyTrip they had no info on it and didn’t turn up for any help in spite of my continuous call. It was the worst service I experienced (completely opposite to what they claim in TV ads). I had to book my ticket with other airlines at very high cost and travel. Air India which has cancelled their flight assured my refund will be done to MakeMyTrip.     MMT is still a web portal and the whole culture is to not speak to customer and hide behind, whenever there are issues. The major issues we faced were:

    1) They wasted lot of our time by not buying any advance tickets for the attractions and made us wait for hours at each attraction.
    2) They completely messed up air tickets, no proper seats, no meals preference communicated to airline, despite we sending multiple emails.
    3) They used a used a bus to make us travel cross country, which had already run 200,000 km. The bus broke down one day and we were stranded for 4 plus hours.

    4) Their top executives Deep Kalra and Rajesh Magow, are least interested in driving the organization with a better culture of customer centricity, so no hopes for this organization, which should stick to booked flight tickets through portal.

    Dear friends, Please think several times before using services from MMT (Make My Trip) as me and my mom had to go through a worst experience while travelling to the US. We booked return ticket from China Southern through MMT. We explicitly mentioned that we need Asian Vegetarian Hindu meal. The booking was made successfully with no issues. On the travelling day when we boarded the flight and during the diner time we were served Non Vegetarian meal. We are Jain and when enquired about our opted choice of meal it was specified by flight crew that they don't have any records of our choice of meal. So they can't provide what we opted for. My mother is sr. Citizen and we had to remain on almost starving conditions for over 13 hrs of journey while travelling to US from China through connecting flight.

    This was an ordeal which I don't want anyone should go through especially when accompanying their parents and kids. I could have ignored this whole incident if i was travelling alone but my mom had to sit through this worst experience and without appropriate food and when I reported this incident to MMT representatives they were taking it too lightly as there was no response on my written email communication until 14 days. I had to do several rounds of followups and for appropriate compensation for my mother's mental/physical ordeal. The MMT team is trying to wash their hands by saying that they apologise for the inconvenience and are offering INR 500 discount voucher and later saying they would give me INR 1000 as voucher to compensate for the harassment my mom and i had to go through.

    The MMT representatives don't have the common sense of using the email to interact and resolve the issue and always kept trying on my India number during the night time. They were not using the brain that they should consider the time zone difference. I gave my alternative US number and still they had one answer to all my questions i.e.:

    1. Why my meal choice wasn't recorded with Airline?
    2. If MMT knew about the technical glitch due to which our meal choice wasn't recorded then what action they did to ensure that their customer is still getting their claimed quality services?

    3. I was also surprised on the question if I want the meal choice issue should be corrected for my return journey? I expect a far better communication and proactive resolution.

    So friends I would say be double sure and seek written confirmation from MMT or better go with a better service providers rather than risking your journey to such a experience. I am still trying to get a favorable response and resolution on this issue.     It would 30 hours from India to reach France and 30 hours back from Switzerland. They would promise to help you with Visa processing which they haven't. The flight list they give you isn't final. Customer service people will stay on calls for 2 hrs and won't do anything you request even within acceptable timeline. Pay bit higher price to get proper and very well taken care by other companies with good reputation.     Booked a Jet Airways flight via MMT from Bangalore to London. Airlines got grounded. Tickets cancelled by airlines. It has been two months now and no information on the refunds. I had two more tickets booked via Airlines directly. Airlines refunded the money for those in 5 to 6 days. Only the ticket booked via MMT has not been refunded. These frauds are just sitting on customers money. Sale contract was with MMT and thereby they should be responsible. Don't ever use MMT.

    Did advance cab booking for 11AM from Lonavla to Mumbai. Got driver details and driver in turn passed other driver details who in turn have details of third driver. After coordinating for 1.30 minutes, MakeMyTrip executives is saying me that they will not be able to provide service and they will cancel the ride. While they mention they will refund the money, they feel it will solve all the problem of a family who were accompanied by two toddlers of 9 months and 14 months. After 2 hours of frustrating coordination, I had to cancel my booking and had to self organize other booking. When they can’t manage customer satisfaction they should only focus and concentrate on hotel bookings (hoping they would be handling this professionally).

    I have booked one hotel in Ooty for two days with MMT booking ID ** for OYO 9080 Hillwood Cottages. My experience is horrible as rooms were in pathetic condition, full of mosquitoes, no proper reception to attend the complaint, no proper road to enter with taxi. I complain the same with MMT call centre, they told contact the Oyo as property belongs to them, they will make the adjustment if Oyo agrees. Oyo call centre give me new property with new booking. After that refuse to do the adjustment as I have made payment to MMT. MMT person refused to do adjustment as they have not received request from Oyo. At last I again make the payment. Now I want my refund back and don’t know to whom to contact to, MMT or Oyo or hotel as all are passing balls to each other.

We all know Jet Airways has been grounded and it has been more than 60 days now that I had not received my money for international flights. On their assurance only I had rebooked my ticket with MMT where as post 60 days they do not respond to my calls and keep transferring. When we make a booking on MMT we pay them, then why do we need to wait for Jet airways to refund the amount. MMT is responsible for my booking, whereas now they state that they are only an agent.     I had booked my flight ticket on 23/01/19 through Make MyTrip for 26/05/19 from Chandigarh to Mumbai the amount being 13,934 and the airline was Jet Airways. Everybody knows the airline closed and I had to bear the loss. Not only I had to pay 8000 extra amount 22,914 even after cancellation and me chasing Make My Trip for refund the past few months I have still not got my money back whereas I have heard others have. What I do not understand is if MMT earns pretty well from these airlines then why is it not paying its clients and chase the airlines for the refund. Why is it causing great inconvenience for its clients who have been with them like me for the past so many years whereas we are the ones who generate business for them. We really need to reconsider these service providers who in the guise of benefactors are like wolves who fleece you.

    I booked a ticket for my mother through MakeMyTrip, she doesn’t have last name on her passport but While booking the ticket make my trip system allowed me to book the ticket but while printing they added Ms twice in the first name and first name into the last name. I checked with China Southern airlines and they said it's MakeMyTrip system which is generating extra Ms as per the gender of the passenger and only MakeMyTrip guys can rectify it.     Really disappointed by MakeMyTrip (MMT) travels! We had paid 120000/- for 1 week package for 4 person. I have already told them that all the 4 are senior citizens and make sure that we get ground floor hotel rooms and the hotel room should be relaxable. They assured me that I can call anytime and they'll help me. But they didn't. When I was booking the package they were very co-operative and very nicely responsive. Until I paid the whole amount for the package. Firstly Mussorie hotel was good yet the washroom were not even working properly. Food was too poor and quality was just awful. Location was okay.

    Rishikesh hotel was very poor. Food was okay. Location was good. I asked the trip advisor to change the hotel or the room, so she assured me that she’ll change the hotel and then another person from the MMT called me and said they cannot change the hotel but they’ll shift the room on next day. The women who assured me first, didn’t even receive my call for the whole day and calls me at night and says the same thing that the man from MMT said. Haridwar hotel was very poor. Food was too poor. Location too poor.

    Sightseeing points were not even covered. The driver always had some excuse and didn't even take us anywhere for sightseeing. On the last day they left us back at the airport before 5 hours of my flight departure. We told them that it'll be very early for us. But he scared us that you'll miss your flight. Just 'coz the driver basically belonged to Delhi. He just kept us at 2:00 pm at Delhi airport, whereas our flight was at 7:00 pm. My MMT trip advisor was PRATIMA **. They didn't do anything which we wanted. They promised us very nicely until we paid them. Just after the payment They did nothing for us. I would never prefer anyone for MAKE MY TRIP. The worst travels ever! Would rate them in negative if I could.

    Make My Trip is the worse travel company. I have trapped two time in it. I was willing to book bus ticket from Banglore to Mumbai for 24th June 2019 and when I was at checkout point. Payment was failed and I made the payment again. Payment done and what I have seen the date is changed and was the same date on which I have booked (13th June 2019). There was a rule written in the ticket that if the ticket will be cancelled up to 8 hour before the time of bus none of the money will be refund. It happen with me second time. It happen with me one more time when I have booked a hotel in Puri and the date changed unknowingly and my money got waste. That time I thought that it may be because of my mistake but now I am sure it is because of the technical problem with their website so I will suggest everyone not to use this website ever otherwise your money will also sunk.

    I booked my Jet Airways flight tickets in the month of January 2019 via MakeMyTrip for Mumbai to Singapore... In the month of April 2019 all Jet Airways flights were cancelled and MakeMyTrip emailed us that refund will be processed in 7 to 10 working days... It's been 60 working days and we haven't received any communication on refund status. Also when we call customer service number, they just keep transferring your call and waste you time... never ever book tickets or packages via MakeMyTrip, absolutely cannot be trusted. Pathetic customer service, they just want to take customer money and sit over it. Customers think 10 times before booking via MMT, as if you book via other portals you may get the best service.

    Hi! I am Vishal **, A Research Scientist and Anesthesiologist. I want to share my memorable experience with MakeMyTrip and would love to recommend people for the same. The flight tickets were so cheap other than any other websites and tremendous so friendly support from Customer care. I had missed my flight due to visa issues and I was traveling to South Korea in a Very important International Conference. I missed the flight and the next flights were so costly to purchase around 1 lakh and more. The airlines were suspended my tickets and it was also non-refundable. I was stuck at Delhi Airport!

    I called to MakeMyTrip customer care during midnight but due to any reason, none responded. In the morning someone named "Anindita" picked up my phone and asked me for the issues. She listened to the condition very calmly and told me to wait for the solution and alternative. It was a very double trouble time, I was awarded ad travel grant award and another award at conference and selected from India. So for me to go there was too much important!! She understood the condition and talked to me such a nice way that I could manage my frustration and able to remain calm and focused. She just took a time, put me on hold and talked to the Airlines person on another half. She makes sure a ticket for me without any difference which is customer care support in true basis.

    She got me a ticket with Zero difference and maximum benefit to the customer. She was working on backstage for getting the ticket and comfort Journey. I would like to heartily thanks to her and also MakeMyTrip for that only I would ever able to attend the International Conference and receive my award. I have seen many customer care executives but that efforts were tired-less and out of class!! I would like to thanks her with the bottom of my heart and also thankful to all support team to make my journey comfortable.

    They booked the ticket, deducted the amount from Bank after confirmation. But after some time they cancelled the ticket saying technical glitch and processed the refund. Till here it was good. After this I had booked from IBIBO. After around three hours MMT had booked the same ticket once again and then charged again, and my money was deducted from Bank. This time I had no whereabouts from where they had booked the ticket. I had to cancel the same. However in this I lost around 3800 Bucks. MMT did not bother to hear this and kept on claiming big that they have settled the case within a record time.

    I had planned a trip on 7 June to a resort for two days (9 June to 11 June). During my booking by mistake I put 1 day prior to actual departure (8 June to 10 June). I called the hotel but they refused to help as the booking was online. Now since the booking was one day before, cancellation and modification option was already gone. I emailed the customer care but according to rules it was showing extra charges (same cost of two days again). Then I called the customer care number on the booking voucher, they talked to the hotel and changed the dates accordingly, mailing me the new voucher. The process was easy and smooth.     I booked my round Flight tickets (10th July - Abu Dhabi to Kolkata) using online website MakeMyTrip.com (refund for Booking ID **). Due to non-availability of the Jet Airways flight six weeks back they have cancelled my one-way ticket and assured to get back the refund within 72 hours.     I booked a holiday to Nepal on Feb 16th 2019 to Nepal. My travel date is on may 10th, 2019. Flights, hotels, etc all are booked by them.     Never ever use MakeMyTrip app for any bookings. You are sure to end up losing your entire money and peace of mind. They have opened the app only to cheat customers to give up their hard earned money. Their customer care are very rude to the customers and are not bothered about the convenience of the customers as long as they are able to cheat them of their money. Their hotel booking is another farce wherein the customer is forced to lose his money by falsely claiming options available as pay at hotel. However, conveniently they take your credit card details and later charge the full amount after a day and then wash their hands saying it is hotel policy and the amount debited cannot be refunded. There are much better options to book your flights and hotels.

    I have booked a package with MMT for Singapore and Malaysia. It was the worst experience I had with them. It was my First international trip with them and they have promised me that all will be good but Malaysia trip was ok ok. but the worst scenario was Singapore. The hotel which they have provided me was very worst. In the hotel there were cockroaches and bed bugs and the room was not good also. I have requested them to change the hotel but the tour manager told me that if I want to change the hotel I myself have to pay the money and get a good hotel. This service was provided from them. Mostly the tour manager is not useful, he just only coordinate on Whatsapp messages about the tour nothing else.

    We spend so much money but as we are wasting our money with the bookings done by MMT, really it was a very dissatisfaction tour I got from them. Nobody was interested to solve the query as the customer care take the issues but nothing is to be done. Very bad service. Please hundred times think to book the international package. They fool us. They think we are idiots Indian, we don't understand anything but please it's a humble request. Don't fool anybody. There is much more mistakes which was there in the tour by the MMT but nothing is solved, they just listen but no solution.

    Very much upset. Though my friends told me that don't book tickets from MakeMyTrip, still had trust on your site and booked the train tickets which was urgent. After few minutes got mail and message that transaction failed min suddenly. It's really annoying. Money was deducted from my account. What the hell.     I had booked my ticket from Hyderabad to Delhi for 3 June 2019. Now when I'm trying to cancel through chat, email and call no one is responding. I don't know why their customer service seems so busy that customer have to wait like 2 hrs online and still no response. I wonder if they have any customer service department who would actually help people. This is really pathetic. I would request people whoever is getting offer from MMT or any discounts still I would request not to book from them. It's better to pay a little more and book through agents. And also I guess no customer service in the world would be so busy as MakeMyTrip coz they are not there to help. But they are there to see and laugh and suck people money and that's how these CEO and others who is associated with MMT makes money. I would never ever deal with MMT. Just hate it. Pathetic???? If I had an opportunity I would not even give one star.

    I had a very bad and humiliating experience with MakeMyTrip for Europe as I was not able to travel Budapest though my tickets were booked but they did not mentioned anywhere that you have to carry your passports in original wherever you go, the taxi which I booked with them was not on time and he misbehaved with my family during the way from airport to hotel and asked 100 euros on the way and threat me and family that he will drop us on road if we will not give him 100 euros in cash, Moreover I missed my tour to Eiffel Tower just because I was late by 5 mins. So in total I lost my 800 euros without my refund after booking with MakeMyTrip.

    Hello. I have recently availed a holiday package to Leh. I had too bad experience and I am sharing the feedback. I will never consider MMT again until MMT changes their rigid customer harassing policies. My feedback in detail.... What’s good: The hotel accommodation, good quality, hygiene and service. The overall comfort of an organised tour as there is less to think for the customer like any other organised trip. All local trips reasonably organised, good discipline, on time schedule and timely general information at site.

    What can be improved: MMT terms and conditions are one sided and unfair to customer and I don’t think this will stand in any court of law. Particularly cancellation policy, at least there should be a window of cancellation with full refund within 10 days of booking as the customer get to know all terms and conditions later or even otherwise. Unreliable as they change hotel, cancel locations without any compensation and cancellation option. If asked why they will point out terms and conditions. Very nontransparent escalation information. Other service providers mention right in the quotation for various levels of escalation. I was promised that someone will talk to me but no one really cared when the itinerary was changed on the day one of booking. Inaccessible to senior staff. I found it very unprofessional. This is the only main reason I would not prefer MMT in future.

    Though Hotels are good for stay but very basic compared to a 4 star. No gym, no amnesties. They show in their quotation some good hotel and actually provide a different one and sure they have mentioned in the terms and conditions they can change anything and whenever they wish. The customer is at their mercy after making the payment. Rigid itinerary - MMT itinerary is very rigid and no value for money. Most days the the tour ended by 1 pm. No choice of interested place though easy to accommodate even with a premium private vehicle plan. No guide, driver absolutely not familiar with the sightseeing places. The key MMT people on ground lacks Local information. Lack of clear and specific information on weather, connectivity what to pack, etc.

    Though I was prepared as I visited the place earlier and with Internet information but it was expected MMT communicate this clearly. At least the The relationship manager could have called up and given a detailed briefing prior to the trip. The RM was absolutely a waste and not of any help and did not play any role. Last if you want to claim LTA income tax benefit for your flight tickets they will not give you a separate invoice for flight. So you could lose a big money on tax. Please note MMT is absolutely rigid and they just don’t care for the customer. In my interaction with MMT and availing their services for my holiday the overall service level is very poor. I really expect MMT's policies to change towards more fair, customer friendly and mutual trust. Regards, Surendra **

    It has been the third time booking with MakeMyTrip and this time everything was going wrong. I couldn't access my account so we dig booking over phone. They charged me the amount in the wrong currency and took money again (without permission) from my bank account!!!! So I ended up paying much more for my ticket than it was!!! Plus additional bank processing costs I had to pay for their mistake!!! Additionally they didn't even reply to my emails and didn't try to reach me!! I got no information and my account is empty, no flight information and access to the complaints. This is neither fair not the work of a proper booking agency. DEFINITELY NEVER RECOMMEND!!!!

    I had wasted more than 5 hours on phone from Australia calling MakeMyTrip customer service to clear my international tickets booked thru them. No one has a idea and they abuse you in Hindi, and at the end no help.     I booked two triple deluxe rooms in Hotel Sonar Bangla through MakeMyTrip website 1 and 1/2 months earlier than the scheduled date of travel. While booking the rooms it showed me that each room will fit 4 adults and 1 child and accordingly I booked the rooms and full money was immediately deducted. As the rooms were booked via MakeMyTrip and the Hotel has also accepted it and the review was also good so I didn't call the hotel after the booking.

    Before 1 week of the scheduled travel date I called Hotel Sonar Bangla and informed them that we (8 adults and 2 children) are coming and queried about few things. After that they informed me that the room was not big enough to accommodate 4 adults and 1 child and then immediately I asked them then why during booking they gave me that option and accepted my booking and they replied that I need to contact MakeMyTrip.com and accordingly I contacted them.

    After 24 hours of my complaint they came back to me saying that they can't do anything except refunding the money. What a pity and shameful reply. I don't have any other option left because this is just 1 week before my scheduled travel and that was the pick time in the Holiday season. After that I compelled to cancel my booking and rent another hotels with very high rate, So, I will request all of the people who are booking through MakeMyTrip to validate their booking immediately with the property otherwise you might get into the same position like me.

    I was a MakeMyTrip customer for a long time. Probably long before they released their app until 6 months ago, when I got the worst room possible (similar to Decent hotel from Jab We Met). I understand when the hotel gives you an incorrect booking but not MMT. I had booked a room after checking with pictures on MMT. The room was nice and oh!, it was during Diwali, so imagine my surprise when a room fitting my criteria was found. And then we reached the hotel...

    1. There was no booking.
    2. They gave us a room which was stinking of fish.
    3. Shady people roaming about. (They also kept their room doors open.)
    4. The people who were working there brought over their friends.
    5. Once ordered, the food took more than 2 hours. (The kitchen was downstairs.)
    6. They moved us to another room, that did not have hot water.

    7. Loud music until the next day morning.

    I complained to MMT the very same day and 6 months passed the problem. The best part was that I was refunded 1000 rupees for a 10k room. (Their policy said 30%, but I guess nothing on their website is true). Now nobody from MMT responds to me!

    Actually I cancelled a train ticket on 05th April 2019, but my refund is not credited in my account yet. I called MakeMyTrip so many times. Every customer care executive said me that, "Please wait for 24-48 hrs. Definitely you will receive your refund."     Worst service ever. I have been booking tickets from them for nearly a year, had a good opinion. I was booking ticket from CHENNAI TO LONDON INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT on this Monday 13 May 2019. They took my money but ticket booking unsuccessful. Called them. They said refund initiated. Will take 3 days from their side. On Wednesday 15 May was booking again from Chennai to London. They took the money but transaction failed. No ticket generated. Was calling them to talk to supervisor, they said will give me a callback but no one did. Had a chat with customer service agent still the same story.

    Escalated the issue through mail feedback form. Still no one gave a call back. Called again on Friday 17 May 2019 still couldn't talk to the supervisor and the same story again. When you pay they take your money in a second, but when they refund they want to use our money as long as they can and refund when they want. What if someone is going for a death or a urgent issue and they don't have extra money to make booking again? You need to wait till they refund and miss out our emergency. Such worst worst site and service. GUYS PLEASE DON'T MAKE ANY TICKET BOOKING WITH MAKEMYTRIP IN YOUR LIFETIME.

    Before making booking or trip package here careful and don't do any booking in MMT. Their supports sucks and your booking will be automatically changed after sometimes. For example if you give Bangalore to Dubai later it changes to Delhi to Dubai and you are trapped, you can change or cancel the booking and your money is gone, ** MakeMyTrip.

    I was looking to book international flight return tickets when I came across MMT Best Price Guarantee programme wherein they were claiming that their price is the cheapest and in case a cheaper ticket is found within 24 hrs they would return 10 times the fare difference. So, I went ahead and booked the ticket. While making payment I found another Rs 2600 discount coupon over and above this scheme. So, I applied the same and went ahead and completed my booking.

    Later on 11th May 2019 just after making the booking I found Rs 2500 cheaper fare on another website, with that reference I made a complaint under Best Price Guarantee programme and to my surprise they said since I have applied discount coupon this scheme is not valid. I was shocked as if I had not applied the coupon fare difference would have been Rs 5000 to which they might have given different reasoning. I now have this very bitter experience with MMT and would never recommend this to anyone in future.

    Hi, I booked a hotel for my trip to Singapore from MMT. I booked Days Hotel by Wyndham Singapore At Zhongshan Park. In MMT website they mentioned that the hotel provides Indian veg food and has a swimming pool. However, after check in I came to know in the name of veg food they have only veg Biryani and nothing else in veg and there is no swimming pool in this hotel. I contacted them via Twitter but have not received any response from them for 7 days. They completely spoiled my vacation as I booked that hotel only for veg Indian food as my wife is vegetarian.     Very bad customer service. MakeMyTrip seems to have a bunch of frauds. I have suffered mental trauma because of them. They ruined my whole trip. I booked my honeymoon package 2 months before the date for Thailand and I was told that if I'll pay the amount through HDFC they will return 10% cashback after the trip is over. So I believed them. But after the trip when I asked for cashback they denied it completely. And also during the trip, I was asked to pay the extra money for luggage that was not mentioned anywhere in the mail and that too in that baht.

    The worst thing they have done is that just a day before my trip they asked me for extra money making some transport excuse and told me to cancel my trip if I don't want to pay. Now seriously how can you people asked me to cancel my honeymoon trip just a day before... for that I was planning from past 2 month. Please guys don't rely on MMT for anything. Don't go behind their big name. MMT IS FRAUD. PATHETIC. LIARS.

    Booked for a family package tour to Sri Lanka. Highly disappointed with the way the trip was organized. The package cost was 48,000 (excluding flights). But, on-arrival, we were charged an additional Rs.17,000 by the guide. The guide (Mr. **) did not take us to any of the places mentioned in the package. He was extremely rude and did not give us any time to eat or shop. At one point, he blackmailed us that he will drop us in the middle of nowhere if we raised any concerns. He even handed us Rs.500 and asked us to take an auto to our destination. Such mannerless service! Do not trick people like this. You are giving a bad reputation for the country we are visiting. I would definitely not recommend this package to anyone. Don't waste your money on this trip.

    This a biggest looting firm. They were milking money from customers due to the last moment confusion when Jet Airways cancelled their flights. Their website was showing only expensive alternative travel options. Finally I was informed by my friends to check Air India website directly and I managed to book my tickets for the next day within my budget.

    I did another booking through MMT in that confusion, at 11.00 PM, and later realised it was just one way that was costing me 120000 INR. I immediately tried calling Make My Trip customer care and no one answered the call even after keeping me on hold for 1 hours 30 min.. The next day, when I called them at 5.00 am they said, "You will be charged a cancellation fee of 50000," just bacuse it was next business day. I tried explaining them no one from MMT picked my call and how am I responsible for that. They just disconnected my call. This is their customer service. Please stay away from them.

    Terrible customer service. MakeMyTrip seems to have a bunch of frauds and scamsters. I booked my two way flight from MakeMyTrip from Mumbai to Toronto and Toronto to Mumbai. From Mumbai to Toronto, because my flight was from Jet Airways, it got cancelled. When I tried contacting their office, NOBODY picks up and an automated voice just cuts the call. The other numbers are useless too. I even sent in a mail to which I received NO reply. I visited the Jet office and stood there for 2 hours post which they told me that our flight from Mumbai to Toronto holds cancel and that refund will be given by the travel agent. Till this point, I received no notification from MakeMyTrip.

    Few days later I receive an automated message from MakeMyTrip stating that our Jet Airways flight is cancelled and the refund shall be initiated soon ('thanks' for the late response, I am glad I was not counting on MMT). We were still relieved that our return journey from Toronto to Mumbai which was through a different airlines still stands working. Yesterday by chance I could get in contact, with one of their representative who told me that my ENTIRE journey has been cancelled. We were never informed about the return journey being cancelled too. The manager I spoke to Ms ** was extremely rude and kept pinpointing our fault that we should have called MMT, we should have mailed them, even before doing her homework wherein we called them several times and even dropped them an email before.

    She was just not ready to listen and kept saying it's our fault that we didn't check the eticket number. Now because of this carelessness from MakeMyTrip, I have to incur losses worth lakhs! What do we pay you convenience fee for? To have a careless approach towards your customers and not bother about them? To be rude to your customers? In the past I had done several corporate bookings through MakeMyTrip. I shall NEVER recommend MakeMyTrip to any user anymore, be it my friends, family and acquaintance. Also I shall definitely approach the consumer court and spread this terrible attitude of MakeMyTrip towards its customers. HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED. Thank you so much for ruining my entire vacation. Please do NOT use MakeMyTrip for any bookings.

    Because of MakeMyTrip.com my family is going through a mental trauma from this morning. My family was visiting me (I am in US) from India and supposed to travel this morning to JFK. They booked tickets for 2 adults and 2 kids more than a month ago through MakeMyTrip.com and got confirmation of booking. When they were in the airport to check in for the flight, the people at the counter informed them that only the 2 kids ticket was confirmed by MakeMyTrip.com and the adults do not have tickets. They had to cancel all the tickets as the kids cannot travel alone.

    After all this happened MakeMyTrip.com agents were non responsive for several hours. and finally after 12 hours of being on call with them , they booked tickets for them for a week later. There were tickets available earlier than that and they refused to book because of the price. The issue was caused due to a clerical mistake or a mistake from an agent at Makemytrip.com. What kind of a customer satisfaction does this company have? They do not value for others' time and money. Ultimately it is a total loss of one week's vacation for my family and lot of mental stress for more than 24 hours. My advice to whoever is reading this post, please do not ever book through MakeMyTrip.com. They are the worst company and agents out there.

    I had canceled the ticket in the month of Feb. So far the refund has not been done my MMT, it's been 2 months since the cancellation. I am only getting their mail stating they are looking into the matter. They will revert in 24 hours, same mail is repeated every day, they are not serious of public money. Such agents have to be black listed. What is the use of giving such big ads in the media when they cannot give proper service to their customers. If it was MMT to get money they will ensure the last penny is sent to them. I would like to know if there any platform where we can complain for their cancellation of their license. Regards, Sham **

    I would never forget how much trouble this travel agency caused me. Their customer care is worse than your nightmare. If you want to book flights I recommend book it from direct airlines rather than these cheaters. They will try you lure you with deals but it is all a scam. Their customer service is rude and not at all helpful. I pity you if you are one of the victims of this company. Worst service provider ever. Please never book anything from their site because god forbid if are stuck somewhere no one from this company is ready to help you.

    SInce Jet Airways suspended their operations, MakeMyTrip app is not working anywhere. We trust that MakeMyTrip is for ease of operation of users.     I have booked ticket through guest user, after successful payment I have not received ticket details on 3rd April with travelling date of 15th and 18th April. After 2 days I contact customer care, they were not able to find any transaction with details of mail, contact no., traveller name, secondary mail. Customer care executive was unable to find any ticket details throughout week. (All conversation on Call and some of on mail). One of executive told that, "Sir ticket is not cleared. MMT has initiated refund on 5th April." So checked with bank, but bank has denied. Send statement to MMT for cross check. I have sent mail on 14th, 16th & 18th April. Send mail to MMT for refund status.

    Now on 21 April received call from MMT and now they are saying ticket was already booked and shared to Mail which was mentioned on ticket. Whole of the 10 Days executive were unable to find ticket details. Now on 21st after both journey date they are saying this... Pathetic response. This is just only not to give refund. And executive is not accepting their fault, as earlier they have informed about refund and ticket is not clear.

    Would like to show a classic case how MMT (MakeMyTrip) cheats consumers? Here's a case - if you're in a hurry for a Tourist VISA & book an international flight via MakeMyTrip, you'll go for a Travel Insurance like in Schengen countries it's mandatory. Interestingly their same "Apollo Munich" company insurance for domestic sectors has "trip delay & cancellation" + much more clauses than mere 11 clauses in International segment but they charge you a real high premium (straight double premium than their rivals/partners, compare before you go for them) for a small sum-assured in the latter segment. They don't even share the plan with you. Seemingly in most cases, flights get delayed in International Segment which they have not smartly covered as a clause where in you should be eligible to claim.

    Another BIG SCAM they do is the policy premium copy that you receive has wrong "passport no." wherein once you register a claim, then it gets rejected by Apollo Munich as the details furnished in the policy copy is invalid and incorrect. When you talk to Customer Care, they easily wash off their hands & pass the blame to the technical errors in the system. Well, yea after every prepaid service, this is a nice alibi!! Please AVOID booking any Travel Insurance from MakeMyTrip. Else, you're on your own during your distress.     I booked this hotel through MakeMyTrip. Hotel name was ONE HOTELS IN CORBETT. I made full payment in advance for 2 cottages. However, on reaching the hotel I was shocked to see the pathetic condition. SEEPAGE ALL OVER IN THE ROOMS and dining area. Undergarments hanging in the balcony. We were 2 families with kids so decided not to stay there and stayed in some other hotel. I want full refund of my booking as the quality of the service provided by MMT is not up to the mark.

    I will summarize the worst experience of the hotel 'The Rink Pavallion' Mussorie in following points.

    1)Location is in Mall Road where taxies are not allowed. One has to walk long distance with luggage or coolie.
    2)The Rink is only for name, NO SKATING is done.
    3) The toilets are useless with little or no water supply, can't say about warm water.
    4) Rooms are JUST OK.

    5) Hotel has got its name and stars only because of Heritage property, but who wants only heritage or history after long tiring tours.

    I would suggest to convert this place as tourist site instead of hotel property seeing its ancestral records. "MAKE MY TRIP PLEASE RETURN MY HARD EARNED MONEY FOR THIS HOTEL."

    Hi, I booked a hotel in Trivandrum and was denied check in because the hotel did not receive that amount. It was 11pm in the night and I was travelling alone. I had a early morning flight from here and from 8:30 pm I was waiting for the customer care to get back to me. I made 5 calls to them all with the promise of getting a call back from them within 15 mins. Forget a call back each time. The executive on the phone was apologetic and very prompt in transferring my call and that is all I got from them. I am a woman and the treatment from MMT I got was just not correct. My constant tweets or phone calls none got them to respond. Don't know how MNC can treat their customers this way. #frustrated and #helpless. Regards, Akriti.

    I was trying to book a flight ticket through MakeMyTrip app and it threw an error in the last screen. It happened twice so I switched to a different app and booked my ticket. To my surprise, I got an email from MakeMyTrip saying my booking is confirmed. I got shocked because app had failed and I never entered the OTP for credit card transaction. When I called MMT support, they said transaction is successful. When I asked them how, they said since I had the card information saved in the app it pulled the money directly from there without asking me for any OTP. They hung up the call saying that. When I tried to call their support again, I found that they had blocked me from calling them through their IVR system. I can't reach their support at all now. Fraudulently they sucked money from my credit card and now I have no one to complain.

    We had a horrible experience with the outstation cab we booked through MMT. I am writing this so that other can also learn a lesson. First of all the driver sent by MMT was just 19 years old without any commercial driver license (which we got to know later during the trip) and we were going to Ooty where an expert driver can drive. We realized later that if any accident would have happened who would have taken the responsibility. Second the driver pretended he did understand Hindi nor English no even the word “stop.” Second day we hear him speaking Hindi nicely so he was lying. He did a lot of other annoying things that we ignored.

    Then came bigger things. He took our card for diesel and charged 4000. Later we got to know that he had a setting with the petrol pump and actual diesel was filled worth 2000 only. Entire two days he was passing each and every information to someone on phone. My mother even pointed out but we took it lightly jokingly saying he must be talking to his gf. More things to come. We were returning to Coonoor from Ooty and we were showing him the way throughout because he did not know even a single way. But suddenly as soon as we reached Coonoor we had to go to a nearby cafeteria but he diverted the route. We kept shouting, "Stop the cab" but for next 5 minutes he speeded the cab and did not listen to us.

    Finally my mother threatened him of police and she started opening the door. When all four of us (four ladies) almost shouted then he stopped. Somehow we managed to return to the hotel. We complained MMT but we had to follow up at least 5-6 times. There was no bus nor train and we had our flights to catch from Bangalore. Finally a good MMT support guy helped us and arranged a cab another morning. We missed more than half of the placed because of this driver. I do not know what he was planning but please please never trust MMT drivers. They are not verified. And this guy did not even have a commercial license. I don't know if he had any criminal record also. I risked my and my family's life because of MMT. Please do not trust.

    I have booked 2 rooms in one of the resort from MMT app. I have booked room after I saw room pics in MMT app. However, when I arrived resort, I was surprised with the room given to me. The room does not have space and arrangements as to what can be seen in app. I contacted MMT support for 7-8 times to get things verified and to get this sorted with help but I have not received any help neither callback. I have also sent the images of room via email but to no avail. Really disappointed with the services.

    Booked a flight with this company. They did not correctly spell the name. They issued an e-ticket for the wrong time. There was no flight at time issued on the ticket. I phoned and e-mailed many times to get this resolved. Staff lack of interest in resolving anything. I did travel on the flight as all the details were incorrect due to negligence of this company. If anyone is reading this PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY for any of your bookings as you will suffer financially and stress in resolving any issues.

    I try to book a ticket through this site and it charged my card and gave me the message below. "Your booking has failed. We are sorry, your booking has failed however your card has been charged. Your payment has been sent for refund processing and you will receive it back in 3 working days." As booking failed I decided to book tickets through a different site and then 12 hours later MakeMyTrip.com went ahead and booked ticket. Now I have another set of tickets for my travel and has been more than 5 days waiting for refund for their goof up. Please keep off from this site for any booking. Thank you.

    We wanted to book a hotel closer to Grant Medical College. The address showed on MMT website while booking was 2 km from the college and they also matched the confirmation message sent to us on WhatsApp. However, the hotel booked by MakeMyTrip was 60km away from actual place. When we tried to contact MMT, no phone numbers were working, not even the one provided on the booking invoice!

    As a big company is this how you treat your customers? In a crowded, unknown city you promised to help us and then deserted the customers without even finding an alternate solution at 10 pm! Do you really expect 2 females to travel 2 hrs late at night, in an unknown city, to some far away place in search of the hotel which you wrongly booked? Why does none of your contact number work when we need help? This is very careless behavior of yours and very shameless.

    I booked a flight ticket for going to my sister's marriage. Due to some reason marriage date is changed. Two time I called to company to to reschedule the date every time the change the penalty price and now they the price of penalty is equal to the flight ticket. I gave the worst review to the MakeMyTrip. It's my first time and so-called last time also. I prefer the other brand because they never disappoint me.     I made a booking with MakeMyTrip. When I got my itinerary in 3 hours. I noticed that they have misspelled my name on the ticket. When I tried to contact them back, it took me 2 hours to get in contact with the agent. Also, in spite of helping me have correct name, she said you have to get a new ticket by paying whole amount again. Not only this, she said MakeMyTrip will charge 20,000/- INR to cancel previous booking. It was not even 12 hours when I booked my flight. When I tried to check out that why do I have to lose so much money, she hang up on my face. So, people please never book flight with MakeMyTrip. Worst service I ever came across. Save your money.     I have recently booked a hotel booking of 2 two Rooms through MakeMyTrip. After making the payment, I got a message that the hotel in a pending status, will get the confirmation within 2 hrs. I received a message within 30 seconds that 1 room has been confirmed and one of them has been cancelled due to some technical error. I called them regarding the same issue within 5 minutes and they are not were of no help. I was told to book it again at the new price which was a rs 15000 more expensive.

    I told them to cancel the second room too and I will change the hotel and I won't be able to pay extra for the second room as already paid 1.3lacs which is already blocked by MMT. They told me that second room is non refundable and is already confirmed. Today is the fourth day and haven't received any refund. I have called them on many occasions, and promised call back every time. No call back received or any solution offered. Pathetic service from MMT. Will definitely raise the issue further if not resolved soon. Every person tries to be over smart and wants to recap the details again and again. But these guys are good for nothing. Even the when I spoke to a manager he promised a call back within 24 hrs. And still waiting for the same.

    I booked hotel at Coorg through MakeMyTrip app. It was OYO room at Hill View Hotel. Next day I received SMS from OYO asking me to pay advance amount to confirm my booking & I paid. In spite of payment I received SMS one week later that my booking cancelled for non receipt of payment. My hectic efforts to resolve my issue went in vain as neither MakeMyTrip nor OYO responding properly.

    I booked ticket from Kathmandu to Delhi. In the e-ticket was written that the cancellation fee will be 2530 and MakeMyTrip fee will be 649. But, when I need to cancel the ticket, they added convenience fee of about 900 extra. They do not clearly.

    Every dealing with MakeMyTrip is a source of problem, The system doesn't recognize international numbers and it remembers a wrong 10 digits number you are supposed to know, if not the call centre doesn't answer your calls! The system blocked my computer IP so that I can't login anymore. The chat system only answers stupid basic questions and never transfers you to an agent. When you finally manage to talk to a commercial agent, he doesn't transfer you to technical support, and only tells you "wrong number" and hangs up. If you are an international traveller and have LOTS of time and money to waste, buy your next flight or hotel through MakeMyTrip.com.

    I booked Saffron Stays at Matheran through MakeMyTrip, for which I paid Rs.6300 for 1 person. After some time on the same day, I have modified my booking and added one more guest. For adding the guest, they have considered my earlier booking as cancelled and charge me again for new booking. If I am not changing the date, why they considered it as cancelled. Rules for cancellation, Modification and addition of extra guests should be different. They charge penalty for cancellation or date of change is okay. But if I am adding the guest within 15 min, then they can't consider it as cancelled. It’s just a tactic for incurring the more money. They are just Fooling the customers like this.

    I have booked holiday package from MakeMyTrip. During booking they committed your trip will be memorable. Yes this is very true, my trip was memorable but not good view. It's bad view. Very bad experience during trip with their travel Partner Amara Travel from Chandigarh. Driver is only working for commission. Wherever they got the commission they stop vehicle on that places.

    Solang Valley at Manali our vehicle easily reach at point but driver denied. They says, "If required to see Solang Valley you should book another 4x4 vehicle on direct payment basis." We have paid Rs. 2500 for vehicle. Once reach point we saw all vehicle is reached point. We have complaint MakeMyTrip for this issue but no one is responding proper manner. Every time they says Driver is OK. Driver is totally rude throughout the journey not explaining any place.

    One day he directly told, "My duty timing up to 6.30pm only. If we not reached hotel before 6.30 pm I will drop you the same location." This is very horrible. Dollhouse also the same experience. Not covered all point. Khajjiar is the main point but he told, "All roads are closed so I am unable to drive" but other way is available but he not visited. So very bad experience of tour. Main reason is only & only MakeMyTrip & his travel partner Amara Travel.

    Hi guys, I will suggest all my buddies never ever book or plan trip through MakeMyTrip. These guys suck all the time without any results. They will give complete wrong itinerary (Given wrong itinerary). HYD to London connecting flights at Mumbai which was overlapped one upon other (Hyderabad flight reach Mumbai at 10:30 AM but London flight starts from Mumbai at 9:30 AM. This was their itinerary after booking.) and will not provide any updates at all. Big cheaters and loot all our money, I think they are good at fool all the people.     I have been trying to resolve an issue with them since 10th February when they booked us into a hotel which doesn’t exist in BANGKOK. I have been trying to get my money back since then but these people forgot to learn about customer experience. Forget about the apology or the compensation. I have been begging to get my money back which I paid for invisible hotel but they are waiting for me to get tired and forget about the issue. I even copied their CEO and rest of the management team into emails but they are too busy cheating their consumers.

    I am tired now and will find every possible way to share my experience online, I see I am not the only one who has been scammed by this company. They told me that they will return my money as in voucher which I can use in future on their company. They should think why would I do that after going through all these. Why would someone book them if they were stranded on the road finding the hotel for 4 hours. I have made many international calls and god knows how many reminders emails to them but their strategy is simple. Don’t respond! Very poor service MakeMyTrip.

    I booked a Phuket holiday package for me and my wife through MMT for our wedding anniversary which was plan all of sudden 3 days before trip. I spoke to MMT team and they gave me offer which I felt was best for this sudden international trip. Everything was great till I landed in Phuket. I waited almost 2 hours at airport as they were waiting for other passenger to arrive. This was one incident which seems normal as it was already mentioned that pick up and drop was on share basis. Once I reached at hotel I felt like I am going to check in some kind of basic rooms 2 star property instead of a 4 star property which was promised in my package. Anyways it was a 3 star (as per Google) property. Not a 4 star (A big lie by MMT team).

    After waiting for another 2 hours they allotted me a room on 7th floor but their lift was not going above 6th floor so literally I left with no option of using stairs with my 25 kg bag. Not a single person was there to help from hotel side. Next: As I am a vegetarian so this problem is specifically for the people like me. In breakfast I was left only with watermelon, 3 types of tetra pack juices, oats and curd which spoiled my 4 days trip every day in the morning. I meant to say very limited options compare to the non vegetarian people.

    Now next thing was that on second day we were booked for Phi Phi Island trip. So there was an option for upgrading seats because our seat was in basement of the ship. It was very nominal charges for upgradation but when I asked them for that, they told me that you cannot upgrade because your travel agent do not allow us to do so. It was shocking to hear that. So another 4 hours of round journey was spoiled in that basement of ship. This was the whole story of my trip with MMT. Thank you MMT for making me realize that next time I should never trust on your team.
