The young lady was very helpful in getting me affordable reservations near the eye-surgery clinic to accommodate my need to return the next day for follow up. This allowed us to avoid two 150-160 mile trips. I much appreciate her desire to do a good job! I would use this service again if the need comes up.

The bathroom needed to be repaired, the tub was peeling. There was a half used roll of toilet paper and no replacement. The people running the motel were very nice. They said there was a breakfast but when we asked they said no that the coffee maker was in the room. The coffee pot was not clean.

He really helped me worked with my budget getting a last minute hotel reservation from the airport heading to Columbus. Shopped around for me and giving me choices and why. Also l like the payment process, very easy and straightforward. My friend is staying at Hilton in Columbus where l could not reserve because it was full and told David to keep me as close as possible because we have to do a lot together here in Columbus before getting back home to Atlanta

I called specifically to ask about allowing small dogs. There WAS quite a language barrier with the MainStay reservation desk, but I understood they did allow dogs & so I made a reservation for my husband. After a long exhausting day of traveling, my husband had to frantically find another motel since turned away

Very helpful. Communication was clear. Confirmation was promptly sent. Special request was entered. Positive experience. I called and asked for a single bed king and was told it was available on the second floor. Arriving and seeing the wrong room, I checked the email and I was for a two queen. I would have not booked the room for the price if I was told what I was really getting. Very disappointed.

After too many failed attempts to reserve online I called directly and we had a bad connection. David solved the problem but spoke too quickly to catch all he said. He was unable to give me my Bonvoy discount, so I will probably skip Marriott in the future.

Luvensky was very helpful, spending a lot of time on the phone trying to accommodate my hotel stay and the logistics of my stay with 2 dogs, an elderly one and a feisty 6-pound one, accommodating us with a room on the first floor. Due to this accommodation, it made our stay much easier.

The man on the phone booking my hotel was wonderful! He was very kind, patient and willing to answer any questions. I have booked hotels online before and has not come out well. He was willing to answer any questions, gave me my confirmation number over the phone so truly appreciated that.

Buyer Beware!! We were given the impression that we were talking directly to the Margaritaville Island Inn in Pigeon Forge, TN when booking three rooms. We were told to buy the insurance to receive full refunds for our bookings, in the event we needed to cancel. They required all the money up front $4,429.00. Within 3 hrs we decided to cancel one of the rooms, because one family member was not sure if she would be well enough to go. So we cancelled one room then were told we would receive a voucher for the cancellation instead of a refund to our credit card. After waiting several days, we received the voucher. And again we asked to get money back instead of voucher, because we rarely travel and the voucher said we had to rebook somewhere before July 3rd 2025.
At this point we disputed all charges $4,429.00 with our American Express and later, we were informed all bookings are not refundable. So American Express honored the charges. April 17th we contacted the Hotel directly and were informed we have no reservations because HotelPlanner cancelled all rooms. They also cancelled the one voucher we had received and also cancelled the insurance. So currently we are out $4,429.00 with no room reservations, no vouchers and no insurance! If we had actually been talking to Margaritaville Island Inn when the original reservations were made we would not have needed to pay anything up front and there would be $ 0 charges for cancellation!

Be very careful! This is a hotel reservations company. They are a third party facilitator. Reservation are locked in with absolutely no modifications, and changes, allowed! They collect FULL payment at the time of Reservation AND they will only CANCEL a reservation and offer rebook at a higher daily rate. I booked 2 night stay reservation. I requested to change my checkout date. I am using the first night and not the second night. I was told they needed to create a ticket and send to their Escalation Department. They do not have the authority to modify only cancel reservations and rebook at higher rates.
I called several times with no avail. I requested to speak to a supervisor and my concern has not been addressed. These are my calls 800-497-2175 PST: 4/16/25 I spoke with Claire 8:30 am., spoke with Florence 10:21 a.m., spoke with Irene 2:38 p.m. Last call on 4/16/25, I spoke with Brian at 4:30 p.m. Brian created another ticket to send to Escalation Department. He proceeded to offer cancelation of my reservation and rebook with Hotel Reservations/Hotel Planner for 1 night. I expressed again, I did not want to cancel. He informed me to wait for a response from the Escalation Department and an email would follow shortly.
As of 4/17/25 10:45 a.m. there was no response. I called to request an update on my concern. This time I spoke with Justin. Justin said he called the hotel and spoke with Christian at the front desk and it required manager's approval. The manager would not be in until the next day.. Justin called me back and said their Escalation Dept would email me back with a response. Justin stated that my request was considered an early checkout. My reservation is two weeks away and they are now considering it an early checkout, which their cancelation policy states is not refundable. ****DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. IT IS NOT A SERVICE AT ALL****

Edgar made booking so easy, he is very knowledgeable. He took the time to find our needs. We walked us thru paying using the cell. He provide us with all the instructions. He then Proceed to send us a text with confirmation. The text had the address, date, address and confirmation.

He never had to excuse himself from distractions when we read the credit card's numbers. He was spot on. His speech was impeccable. I had a truly great experience working with Bridgette Rohan. From the start, she was personable, professional, and polite. She took the time to really connect with me and showed genuine interest in my idea. We had a thorough and productive discussion, and she clearly outlined the next steps and even scheduled my next call.
What really stood out was how she handled a payment issue that came up — when my initial payment didn’t go through, she was kind and considerate, suggesting it might be a card protection issue. It turned out to be fraud, and all my cards were frozen. Bridgette waited patiently until after the weekend to follow up, which I greatly appreciated. Once things were sorted out, we got everything taken care of smoothly. Her professionalism and care made all the difference. I’m very pleased and grateful for her support!

Excellent!! Maurio did a really good job trying to get us a hotel room for two adults with no kids for 3 nights in the Bluffton/Hilton Head area for Easter Weekend and the Heritage Golf Tournament. He checked rates at several hotels in the area and even some outside of the area.

This company's refund policy is that of 1930. I want everyone to know that they try and charge 1 night stay if you cancel. I made a reservation for 3 nights in error. Called to turn it to 2. Meanwhile I was under the impression I was talking to the Marriot. That wasn’t the case. They made me cancel the entire reservation & rebook. And charged me $15 rebooking fee. Now, because I want to cancel the whole reservation they are trying to charge me 1 night stay. If I booked through the hotel. Which I thought I was I could cancel with no penalty. Buyer beware.

I was trying to book a room online which said the price was $188 for the night. I have always had great service at the front desk when we stayed there in the past so I decided to call directly. I couldn’t quite understand the gentleman who answered the phone but he said the price is $218 and that their website was not updated? Not sure but I will make reservations down the road unfortunately. It’s too bad because we stayed there every time we visit my husband’s hometown 😢

There was some damage at my home and I need a place to accommodate us for about 2 weeks. Choosing your location was important because of the proximity between my home and work but also because the space need to accommodate three adults. Our preference would be two bedrooms with a suite in-between. The representative I spoke with checked and shared with me, stating your hotel has that but I should call closer to the time that accommodations are needed. And at that point we would know exactly if a suite was available.

This is a scam. They act like they are Hilton and don’t mention their terms. Trying to get you to buy in and then charge you a 1 day hotel fee for cancelling. Plus they charge at least 50% more than hotel does!! The post interaction is even more frustrating. Can't believe I fell into this. Crap. They are scum.

I called to book a room for my children and I and was hung up on by the man that initially took my call. Called back and was greeted by a woman named Kim. She took her time to help me book a room and was very patient and kind. She stayed on the line with me while my payment went through and then let me know that my room was booked. She advised me of the check in/out time. She was very professional and courteous. She was accommodating and made me feel very welcomed as a guest. She was prompt, polite, and knowledgeable. Very nice, very helpful and it was an easy phone call reservation. I was informed of the price, the cancellation information and given a confirmation number immediately. The whole process was done in less than ten minutes and I was on hold for maybe 20 seconds. Sometimes telephone reservations are difficult and this experience was not that way at all. Thank you for the excellent training your team has been given.

Adrian assured me numerous times during our call that I would not be charged for my room if I canceled by 6 PM. You did a disservice. When I told you I had a dog with me, you said “no problem”. Quoted rate of $139. When I arrived at hotel was informed and charged $75 pet fee which I complained about. Because of this subterfuge, I will never stay at any Hilton property again. Btw, I’ve used Hilton properties dozens of times over the course of 35 years. Sign me, former customer.

I called what I thought was the Holiday Inn Express in Adrian MI but ended up being a Third Party Booking Agent. Jesmae answered the line; Reservations; Holiday Inn Express and we spoke about the dates that I needed. I explained that I had another reservation and I needed to change the dates check in a day early and depart a day early. Jesmae stated she could ‘merge’ the reservations. She stated that in order to book the room I needed to pay for the 1 night stay upfront because the hotel needed to ensure that I would not cancel my reservation.
Knowing that it was a busy weekend for the hotel and that the hotel may have changed their policy (they have always just required a credit card to hold the room) I agreed to pay for the room. I received a email confirmation with the IHG wording in it, looked legit. I went to google the number that I called and I could not find it, anywhere. I found the number of the hotel, called them. My hotel reservation was cancelled because the hotel was overbooked. I called HotelPlanner.com to let them know, they gave me the runaround, gave me a partial refund of $156.42 and 2 weeks later I am still fighting for my remaining refund of $384.58. I call every day and I get a different answer, they say my refund has been processed or I have to wait. It was not my fault the hotel was overbooked, I should have received my full refund at the time of the hotel cancellation.

The gentleman that I made my reservation with told me a $20 pet deposit was included and I also had a fee for a refund protection plan. He proceeded to give me bad directions telling me the approximate location of the hotel from Interstate 10 taking me an extra 30 minutes on a 20 hour drive. Once I arrived at the hotel the gentleman at the front desk informed me the pet deposit wasn’t included and that I overpaid when I made the reservation. He said the hotel on got a payment of around $55, and no pet fee.

Cynthia ** lied to us stating we were going to get Hyatt rewards when in reality she booked us at a higher price and we did not get our rewards like she stated. When we arrived at Hyatt we were told we had booked thru Expedia. Your company has a liar in your booking department.

My class is having a 50th reunion in June. The committee chair persons secured a discounted rate which was to be honored until the end of May. The price was $159.33 for each night June 26, 27th. When I brought this up to the representative I was told that there wasn't a group rate because nothing was paid for in advance. The rate I was given was $174.99 for 6/26 and $249.99 for 6/27. I was also told there weren't and queen doubles available. I then followed up with committee and made a reservation confirmation #**, 2 nights for $318.66. I'm not sure why this representative did not give me accurate information. Not sure if it's a communication issue with your organization or if they were just trying to upsell me for more money. I feel the agent should have at least offered to look into my question and get back to me if necessary. The difference between $623.22 and $318.66 is substantial.

I called to request a room at the Centennial for Sweet Sixteen Tournament, the gentleman said the hotel was full, but had a “sister” property. He put me in a brief hold, returned to call and said "I have great news, we have the room you requested at the Davenport, with rate and tax, price would be $480 per night." I agreed to rate. Then he had me key in my credit card on a link (red flag #1!!!). So today I look at my credit card bill, he charged $3437.86. I have been scammed. I called immediately and kinda lost my mind, on the fast talker scammer. I could have reserved this hotel on my Bonvoy App, but Centennial Property AND Davenport, didn’t appear in the choices. And now I’m basically held hostage, all hotels are booked.
We are AVID LSU fans and have never missed a Sweet Sixteen tournament, and don’t plan on missing this one, if I have to sleep in my car. I certainly hope we can resolve this. I don’t bash businesses on TripAdvisor or Marriott, but if we don’t get this resolved, I will be forced to post a BUYER BEWARE. Then the gentleman tacked on a $350+ “insurance for cancellation🙄 and didn’t even explain what it was for. That’s an ancillary product he earns commission on, but the problem is, he packed the ancillary product, plus a $700 + room rate, that I could have booked on Marriott for $340.!! And did it all after telling me it was $420 per night.
I would have already cancelled this reservation, but now there are no hotels of comparable accommodations available, due to tournament. I hope to speak to someone when I arrive late Thursday night (midnight). Someone needs to be in contact with me tomorrow. I will be available until I board flight headed to Spokane. He helped me with making reservations and explained to me the meals/activities for the days we are staying. It was very helpful because I wasn’t aware that the Arkansas Derby is the weekend we will be in Hot Springs. I have stayed here several times in the past and like the location and all of the seating/firepit areas outside the hotel. Have a nice outdoor pool as well.

Adding to my existing reservation was more complicated than I thought it would be.. Perhaps a bit of a language barrier, but then later I discovered that I had been charged for some sort of refund protection (10% of total). To add to the general annoyance, it was somewhat difficult to reverse.

It was more than I expected. Everyone was very efficient and courteous and wanted to make my stay as much as they could very impressive. Thank you for being accommodating to me. I had a misunderstanding with the continental breakfast, I thought it began at 10 o’clock, but it finished at 10 o’clock, but the young man accommodated me anyway and I was very cold when I came in and the young lady assisted me with getting heat right away because it was raining and I was very cold so everything went very well. I was quite impressed and I will look for a Clarion the next time I go on a journey and my check-in was very easy.

I asked if it was the actual hotel he said yes, it was a 3rd party. Asked about the farm bureau discount that hotel gives he said yes. Another lie. Cancelled reservation 5 mins later, when I realized it was not the actual hotel. I should get a 100% full refund. Room rate when you call the actual hotel with Farm Bureau discount is $119 a night, their rate was $255 a night. Robbery!

I made a reservation for the La Quinta hotel in Memphis with Miguel over the phone. He was excellent – courteous, very pleasant voice, answered all my questions and I would highly recommend La Quinta and Miguel for reservations. Miguel also answered the phone on the first ring and all of my questions give me information. I hadn’t even asked and did an excellent job. He should be a “team leader“. Miguel works at the headquarters and not at the actual hotel physical location where we will be staying. Which is too bad because I wanted to meet him and just tell him how good of a job he does.

Nightmare. If you make a mistake -look out. You will not get any help. They have no follow through. I tried to correct my check in date and found I had entered a wrong email so I gave them the correct one but they never changed it. 6 phone calls and 4 emails and still no help.

Laura did a super job helping us with our reservations for an upcoming stay at the hotel on April 1st. She stepped us through the reservation and discount for the Medical Center. My wife and granddaughter stayed there while I was in the hospital. We stayed there last week for surgery at The University Maryland Medical Center. Really nice hotel!

I was trying to book a hotel block but that wasn’t an option because of the number of rooms I needed. Hotelplanner then sent me a link which booked my room via another 3rd party making customer service confusing and ultimately impossible. I reached out to hotel planner and they were not able to help even though they provided the link to book the hotel. I didn’t even want to use them in the first place but thought I had to as the 800 number that appeared for the hotel was actually for them. I am extremely unhappy!!!

I called the central reservation center. Tried to make a reservation. Two problems. One first problem is I was told they could not look up my Marriott number. Second problem. The rate I was quoted was $263 as best rate. I called the hotel direct and reserved for $149. Local hotel also was able to access my Marriott number. Don't know why we do not have any luck with the central reservation number, I have no confidence in it giving me the best rate.

I was affected by the fires in the palisades and needed to go to a hotel. I thought I was reserving directly with the hotel but it was HotelPlanner. Once I called the hotel they offered me a MUCH better rate due to the fires so I cancelled my hotel planner reservation and stayed at the hotel, hotel planner has been promising me a refund since January 18. This is very hurtful and not okay as I was affected by the fire. Really disgusting.

We were able to locate your reservation in our system and we show that you have disputed the charge for your reservation, and once a reservation is disputed we are locked out of the account or "charge" for 90-120 days. If you have a letter from your bank/credit card holder stating the dispute is withdrawn, we can make the request for the dispute review to be closed early.
This is what needs to be included in the dispute closed letter, which is emailed to ChargeReview@HotelPlanner.com // CC: Melanie.Planelles@HotelPlanner.com.
1. MUST be a screenshot of a message in the bank’s online messaging portal or a photo of a letter on bank letterhead (Cannot be a forwarded email from a bank rep)2. MUST state cardholder dropped or withdrew the dispute
3. MUST include the following info, which must match the charge info:
· Cardholder name
· Last four digits of the card
· Amount of dispute
If you can present this documentation, we can work to have your dispute closed earlier, but we cannot promise approval. We will contact you with a status update as soon as we hear back from the merchant of record for this booking.

My husband’s room reservation could not be found when he and my brother-in-law arrived at the hotel to check into their rooms the night before a big football game in November last year., despite the fact that both rooms had been reserved and paid for back in MAY and they had a separate reservation for the following day as well (which the hotel DID have for both)! The hotel contacted Hotel Planner who recognized that they had made a mistake and said they would pay for the room. Then in January my husband’s credit card was charged $838 CDN for that room.
We have been spending the last month and a half trying to get this refunded and have been ping-pong’ed back and forth between the hotel and Hotel Planner. Hotel Planner has ridiculously long wait times just to get information or callbacks and when we finally DO get something it’s another false declaration and we are sent back to call the hotel and the cycle starts again. The employees we speak to are very polite but will not deviate from the script of canned responses. This is very frustrating and we are about to take this to the next level. Going through third party booking is supposed to provide better discounts and quality service. Unfortunately, despite the initial discount we received, we are paying in so many ways.

We booked 4 rooms through this company. They represented that we were booking with Embassy Suites and never told us that they were a third party or that if they book it, it was not refundable. We had to cancel one room, the representative was short, didn't really care, and canceled the wrong room. When we checked with Hilton directly, they only show us with two rooms. This service is complete with fraudulent folks not giving all the information. Not only will we have to rely on the credit card company for a refund, but we will also now incur the cost of legal and the time required to warn as many people as we can on social media. Beware of this company.

The hotel you guys recommended was terrible, I give it 1/2 star at best, it's worst than some motels that I've live in. Many service that was said to have and didn't have, the door to the room was jammed and only the manager know how to open it. Never again!!!

We booked 4 rooms for a family vacation that were advertised at $355 Canadian, they charged us $355 US dollars. We called to point out the mistake. They advised us they would cancel the rooms with a total refund of ALL our money so we could rebook them at the Canadian price. They promptly refunded us half our money. After many calls and emails we talked to their support member and were told the remaining refund was being processed and would be received it within 10 business days. This timeline has long passed and they have not answered any of our emails or texts since. We are out $2300 Canadian dollars. This is affecting 4 different families' vacations. We have followed their instructions and want OUR money returned to rebook.

I had a complicated booking for a return flight (my car is parked at the hotel due to leaving the week before after staying the night before the flight). My return flight arrives at midnight. Confusing reservation dates so we arrive at the hotel probably around 1:30 am on 4/15, We will be using the room on the 15th (check in at 3:00 pm usually). We would be able to extend the check out time on the 15th. Enough time to sleep before driving home. The customer service guy was so helpful in deciding what day to check in on. He was pleasant, knowledgeable, thorough and placed notes on my reservation for late check out.

I’m not sure what happened but over the phone we booked two rooms with Rhane and received the two confirmations. When we arrived at our hotel they said 3 rooms were charged to our credit card. Please Rhane, correct this error by removing the 3rd room and put the credit back onto the credit card. Please advise by text when error is corrected. Thanks!!

She misrepresented the cancellation policy!!! I asked her about it and she said I have until April 30th to cancel, and NEVER said that I would be penalized one night’s stay! She also said my reservation includes payment protection, in case I need to reschedule when rates are higher. I never would have reserved a room with this cancellation policy, which she neglected to tell me. I feel very upset and disappointed with Comfort Inn.

I called Ronaldo because the website only gave me two options of one king size bed in each room. I needed a room that could accommodate three adult people and he found a room for them with two double beds. He was very helpful and really eased a lot of stress for a cancer patient Visiting Seattle.

I booked a double queen room online. It was $150. I tried to call to check the prices and was told the same room would be $370 to book. Yes originally it’s $150 online but because of taxes it’s 370, doesn’t make any sense. They are scamming people so make sure you book online, don’t call.

I accidentally called the number for this company instead of directly calling the hotel. A misleading web search led to that. The person who answered misled me to think they were working for the hotel. When making the reservation I specifically asked for refundable reservations and he said he could split the charge into two parts to make them refundable. When I got the email confirmation, they were only partially refundable, to the tune of me losing over $2000. I have tried for a month to get the remainder refunded, but now they're not responding to me. Also, they charged me nearly 2× what the hotel charges. Do not do business with this company.

We were able to locate your reservation in our system and we show that you have disputed the charge for your reservation, and once a reservation is disputed we are locked out of the account or "charge" for 90-120 days. If you have a letter from your bank/credit card holder stating the dispute is withdrawn, we can make the request for the dispute review to be closed early.
This is what needs to be included in the dispute closed letter, which is emailed to ChargeReview@HotelPlanner.com // CC: Melanie.Planelles@HotelPlanner.com.
1. MUST be a screenshot of a message in the bank’s online messaging portal or a photo of a letter on bank letterhead (Cannot be a forwarded email from a bank rep)2. MUST state cardholder dropped or withdrew the dispute
3. MUST include the following info, which must match the charge info:
· Cardholder name
· Last four digits of the card
· Amount of dispute
If you can present this documentation, we can work to have your dispute closed earlier, but we cannot promise approval. We will contact you with a status update as soon as we hear back from the merchant of record for this booking.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! I made a reservation with HotelPlanner.com by mistake, thinking I was booking directly with the hotel. I called them within 10 minutes of making the reservation to cancel. They did not refund the entire amount and charged a very large cancellation fee of several hundred dollars. I have requested to speak with a Supervisor but nobody has ever contacted me. I have made numerous attempts to resolve this matter, but nobody will speak with me. Every other reputable company offers a full refund if you cancel within 24 hours (hotels, car rental, VRBO, AirBNB, cruise lines, airlines, etc.). HotelPlanner is not a company that I would ever recommend using for any travel services, or vacation planning, EVER!!!! Very disappointing!
