Geraldine was very polite and helpful. She offered me a choice of rooms. She was able to find the shuttle number for me. She made sure I had the hotel confirmation number and told me about the happy hour and complete breakfast. She was very pleasant.

So helpful and courteous! Thank you! I really was concerned as there is a snow storm in Indy and I have a 40 mile drive home. My online reservation would not process and Luis was so helpful completing my reservation. Great customer service. Also I was able to reach an agent quickly.

I have stayed at the Red Roof Plus in the past. I always have a mini fridge and a microwave. I double checked with the HotelPlanner and she said yes. NO mini fridge, NO microwave! It seems like I got the cheapest room at regular price. I will never book a room over the phone again. It's best to go in person so that you can see what you're getting.

When I called for a reservation was told that I would receive a confirmation for a stay in St. Augustine. Never got the confirmation and when I checked the Hilton website no reservation existed. Good thing I checked and had to book one myself on line. Fortunately rooms were available. VERY DISAPPOINTED!

Never, never, never ever again, pure crooks, no one returns your calls when you need help to change a reservation, then they say you don’t follow our policy so we’re are keeping your money, ha ha. Great business model, screw your customers then keep their money and I had travel insurance too and they kept that money too $1344

This was terrible. I was lied to! I didn’t get the room I wanted and paid for. He lied about my military discount. He lied early check-in. He just lied about everything. The hotel was ok, although the water pressure wasn’t great. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The agent that booked this room for me though, he’s a dirty and awful liar! It’s been 3 days and customer service is still “reviewing” what happened. This was an awful experience,

The call was a polite, quick and efficient. I was in transit which makes business calls challenging. He put himself in the role of a customer by clearing up any confusion on my end on why the phone calls were going to a central call agency, which is what good customer service is about. Tyler displayed situational and product competency with quickly expediting the call with minimum maintenance on my part. Instead of my having to read out the long confirmation number, he was able to pull me right up. Hopefully, this review summarizes Tyler's ability to perform his tasks and duties as a model for others.

Typical language barrier making it difficult to navigate conversation, although not as bad as I’ve experienced in the past with CRA agents or Telus. The real disappointment was a constant crackling static with the audio, probably caused by the hands-free device used by the agent. This made conversation almost impossible. After approximately 22 minutes, I was finally able to make a simple one-room reservation.

Calvin was great in taking a special request for a ground floor room with handicapped accessibility at the last minute. He provided excellent customer service and made helpful suggestions. We had a family emergency to deal with and were worried we couldn’t find appropriate accommodations during a holiday weekend.

Maria and I, Adam, wanted to extend our stay at Holiday Inn and Johana helped us with an issue. My wife and I were experiencing using our credit card to pay for an extra day to stay at Holiday Inn. I am happy to say Johana helped us out and put our mind at ease by fixing the credit card problem so that me and my wife can extend our stay at the Holiday Inn for one more day!

I had to make four phone calls speak to four different people and I received horrible service. No one could answer my questions. I was on the call for 20 minutes and she could not get my card to process so she was going to connect me to the service department and they wanted an itinerary number which I did not have and it did not take me to anyone that I could speak to. When I first called and asked if you were part of the Marriott program, the gentleman transferred me to that same service line where they want an itinerary number and it led me nowhere!
Then I called back again and got a woman on the phone who took forever ever and ever to process name and address and card number. She said it did not go through. I told her I was not interested and I don’t want the reservation. I see it’s pending on my credit card so please cancel that. I never did receive a confirmation or an email, so I certainly hope my account is not going to be charged. I never received such poor service in my entire life.

I am very unhappy with this representative. I asked him if he represented the hotel and he lied to me and said yes. I asked him if I would be able to use my hotel rewards points for this booking and he said yes. He is dishonest and not trustworthy. I hate I booked with him. I will tell everyone I know to never use this phone number to book a hotel stay. Now I am not able to get my rewards points for this stay. RYAN ** is a Big LIAR and very DECEITFUL.

Absolutely terrible. Lied to me, thru whole conversation, said he was the Red Roof Inn. Told me the amount for my roof and I could book online. Said wasn't available. And it was. False presentation to customer. Not honest, needs to be re trained. Very disappointed that he thought it was okay to take advantage of a senior.

Daniel took my reservation for one room with a king bed for one night. I ask if they serve breakfast and he told me they serve a continental breakfast. I booked the room. When I arrived at the hotel the place was under renovations. The lobby was full of rolls of carpet and the kitchen eating area was closed and filled with furniture. I spoke to the person at registration named Mike. He told that they have been renovating for the past two to three weeks. I informed him that I booked a room because of the continental breakfast and asked for a refund. I tried to call Daniel but got someone else and request a refund because the hotel isn’t what he said it was.

I Just completed booking for the Cliff House with Daniel, extremely nice experience, actually rate was cheaper than the online booking! He was very thorough in confirming all aspects of the booking. The call taker was terrible, took me 30 minutes to make this reservation. I believe it was a computer, terrible. I won't use it again. The computer voice was terrible and it did not understand what I was saying nor did it have a way update what I was saying without starting over.

Michelle was very misleading and not truthful about this transaction. She told me it could be canceled at any time which was not true - she ran it as a pre-paid reservation. Also, I told her I was tax-exempt and she iterated I could handle that with the front desk. Another lie because she ran it as a pre-paid the desk clerk couldn’t do anything about the taxes. Also she charged me for a refund protection program and never mentioned it or asked. She is a liar and I will not use or stay at this company again.

I asked him if he was the official Quality Inn Choice Hotel representative and he said yes. As I later discovered, he was not the official Choice office representative I thought he was and so when I called the hotel to check on it, they said the room he booked was two queens, not the king-sized bed I requested and was assured I would have. I do not like to deal with third-party middlemen or deceptive addresses. And the man literally lied to me.

This is a scam site. Make sure you call the hotels direct. Now my card is susceptible to fraud…. They increase hotel prices by 50% and claim to be representing the hotel. They misrepresent other companies, they make reservations non cancellable AFTER charging you. Also try to coerce you to buy “protection” on your reservation which you will never get a refund. They also use “local” numbers routed to a call center that appears to be in another country.

I called their reservation phone number at 1:30 am when needing an immediate reservation. Their AI agent mis-booked my reservation, and I wasn't able to check into the hotel. I created a customer support ticket to pursue a full refund, since the problem was 100% on their end. The refund was refused, and after many phone calls and back-and forths on the ticket, it has now been two and a half weeks and my case is still "under review". This is terrible customer service at every step. They should not have a buggy AI agent as the first point of contact, and they should not be dragging their feet on making the problem right.

Recently tried to book a room at the Quality Inn in Half Moon Bay, CA; the HotelPlanner employee who answered the phone led me to believe I had called the hotel directly which is what I thought I had done in the first place. No rooms available but he told me he would check at their “sister hotel” nearby, the Harbor View Inn so I booked a room there for 2 nights; I was charged twice of what the actual hotel would have charged. 100% markup in cost and the room was not what I was promised (no roll out couch and queen bed was a full). These hotels have two different owners. The “sister hotel” line was a complete lie. Wonder if there is a class action suit in the works by other dissatisfied customers because there should be.

I wish I could give 0 stars. I’ve spent the last 2 days on the phone with my bank, Hotel Planner (Barely because they refuse to take my calls. I’ve been hung up on 10x.), Red Roof Plus/Inn with 0 resolution. Hotel Planner cannot find my reservation but still took money out of my account. They will not work with me at all to try and resolve this issue. They’re very rude. There’s no customer service line without a reservation #. I’m at my wits' end. Please do not ignore these poor reviews they have, the price is not worth the stress. I still have no solution and I have to have a hotel by Friday. Today is Thursday, I booked Monday. I spent hours on the phone.

I made reservations and the man told me I had til 5 pm that day to cancel or make changes to the reservation. Something came up after I made the reservation and I called to cancel the same day before 5:00 pm. They would only refund 601.00 of the 2100.00 I paid saying it was their policy. I was not told I would not receive full refund when I made the reservation or I would not have made them. They have horrible customer service. You aren’t able to talk to anyone and all they do is put in a request for the review board, which I’m sure there isn’t one. Don’t use this site for any reservations!!!! They misled me.

I asked the lady if this was the hotel number and she said yes to make a reservation. I had already checked on the price which would’ve been 90 something dollars and she said the 140 was because of taxes and fees. I get to the hotel and it was not the hotel number, it was a booking agency. Next time I’ll just drive up to the hotel and make my reservation.

He kept telling me to click a link despite my telling him that all that was sent was a piece of paper with the hotel name, there was no website or link. I've been dealing with this company (whom I had never heard of before it appeared on my credit card statement) charged me over $1800.00 for a bogus hotel reservation. I paid the HOTEL, I have a receipt from the HOTEL. I stayed at the hotel for ONE NIGHT!!!. Why would I ever pay over $2000 for one night? This is ridiculous. They are, at best, very deceiving, if not downright fraudulent. I have advised them I will be seeking legal counsel if they do not refund my money.

Booked a 1 night stay we could not keep. We paid extra for the travel insurance AND tried to initiate the cancellation before the cutoff date. Little did we know we had booked through this 3rd party (made it look/sound like we were dealing directly with the property). The cancellation process took 6 days of emails back and forth when we finally said forget it. Called the hotel to confirm it was cancelled and they said it was. Called Hotel Planner back to get my refund (ya know coz I paid for the insurance) and IT WAS NOT CANCELLED WITH THEM. HP then sent payment to the hotel property AFTER reservation was cancelled.
After much go around I was told to wait 10 days. Waited more than 10 days, called back, gave complete run around again. Now after waiting 14 days I call back and I'm told to “wait 10 more days”. Today 10/16 I find out the hotel refunded the booking company in full on 10/13. 2 days BEFORE I called to follow up on my refund and was given the run around. So still nothing. This company is a fraud. Watch where you are booking and flat out “are you at the front desk of the hotel property” and know they will lie to you.

Changing my review from five star to a one star using hotel planner booking service. I asked Liza to please book us two rooms with king beds or an adjoining room. At the end of our phone conversation I asked again that I would be booking two rooms each with a king bed, correct? And Liza said yes. Not the case when I read my email confirmation. Lesson learned. Never review a person’s service until after you read the confirmation email.

With an upcoming surgical procedure I booked and paid for the room well in advance. I did not take the cancellation option because I figured the required dates were a done deal. I was wrong. The surgery has been postponed a few weeks and I needed to change the reservation. I contacted HP and explained that new dates would be required. Two days later they replied that the new requested dates were not available. Now I've spent $500+ on a room I don't need and can't use. Because I didn't opt for the cancellation option the best HP could do for me was provide a voucher equal to HALF of what I had paid, good for another hotel booked on HP.
Out of curiosity I contacted the hotel to explain the situation. They said there was nothing that could be done because the room was booked thru a third party. I inquired about the availability of a room on the required dates - and they had them!. So was HP lying when they said there were none available, or did they just not check? Quite honestly, the emails received from HP read like they were written by A.I.
I booked the room directly with the hotel - at a rate far less than HP had me pay- and cancelled the reservation with HP. Now I have a 'voucher' that can't be used anywhere except to book another hotel thru HP which is something I will never, under any circumstances do again. I'm out $500 over this. Is it my own fault for not taking the cancellation option? Probably. But I'm still not happy and anytime I need a hotel in the future I will just book directly. And I'll be certain to tell anyone else who may need a hotel NOT to use HP. Itinerary number: **

Called number attached to the hotel. Got a booking agent. Paid 759.00 dollars for two nights. Could have booked myself at 592.00 dollars and was told I could cancel. He really did show tremendous professionalism throughout the entire conversation, even though it was a little stressful for me. I’m looking forward to staying at the Bellagio. They have a look a like website that comes up with a phone number in the area code of the hotel you call and they answer with the hotel name with Hotel Planner behind it. If you book they charge 2 times the rate with NO Refund saying you should have purchased refund policy (additional cost) but it wasn’t offered nor informed of No Refund. I was also signed up for a program I wasn’t informed of, it was 3 months free and don’t know what the additional charge after 3 months. I booked 2 rooms for 1 night at LaQuinta and was charged $461.62 on October 1. It’s October 2 and I can’t get a refund. I added a photo of the website to show how much trouble they went through to deceive to make it look like LaQuinta.

Had to get a last minute hotel reservation in a city that is over 200 miles away from my home. The hotel I called was completely booked. Robert helped me secure a reservation at a neighboring hotel. He was so helpful and very patient in reaching this goal. Kudos to you to have such a wonderful employee!

The hotel, itself was as expected - why I called Fairfield - however, the phone number that appeared with the hotel listing lead me to believe I was talking directly to the hotel. The reservation host on the phone lead me to believe I was talking directly to the hotel and verbally sold the room as larger and when I said the cost sounded higher - assured me it was not and I was getting the best value.
Not only did using HotelPlanner, cost me more money (I could have purchased directly from hotel for less), I got a smaller room, and the amenities (mainly pool) I specifically requested and was assured were available - they were not available but have been closed throughout the summer. On top, we could not receive a refund to move to a different hotel. So, as of this moment I am extremely disappointed and feel I have been scammed. The hotel is fine and this is not a hotel problem - this is a third party issue. I would recommend the hotel, but would make sure you are talking to front desk and not a HotelPlanner salesman - noting that he was polite.

Horrible experience and unfortunately didn’t know how bad this company was until we for caught their online scam. Do a quick search and you will find hundreds of BBB complaints against them for deceptive practices and misleading customers. Avoid this company and its other brands like Bookonline.com. They are bad people.

The Associate went the extra mile. On I-70 UT, motorcycle. He found another property at much lower price, King bed to boot! The preferred first property, had a significantly higher price than a week ago. Associate was able to search other comparable properties, and scored.

We get a lot of leads but very few get any bookings.Trying to Bill for invoices YEARS after is insane. Getting information incorrect regarding to groups that had booked or saying groups booked when they never booked at our hotel. Hilton doesn't like us using them for a reason...

We were in town last minute for an event and Edgar went above and located us a hotel on a sold out weekend. He checked several hotels until he found one at a great price with breakfast. He definitely is an asset and the hotel was nice. My only complaint was we had to go to the hotel next door to register. I thought that was inconvenient.

I was told that I was calling the reservation department for this hotel (a lie). I was told I had 24 hours before the reservation to cancel (a lie). Companies should be required to represent themselves honestly. I called hotel directly because the rep from HotelPlanner did not know what he was doing. Price was better at hotel directly.

On 8/15/25, I called what I thought was a direct hotel number but realized belatedly was a 3rd party planner. Representative told me desired hotel was full, but helped me with reservation at another hotel. Reservation was disclosed as non- refundable. I made reservation. 8/16/25 my travel schedule changed. I called Hotelplanner and asked to change dates. There was never mention of reservation being unchangeable, and I simply needed to change reservation dates, something easily done by reputable companies. Agent said request needed referral to “modifications department.“ I asked for timeline for response as my new reservation needs were sooner than initially planned. Representative said he didn’t know and for me to call back in a few days if I did not hear back.
I then sent email to reservations@hotelplanner requesting someone contact me. 8/17 I received an email about 7 am saying someone had tried to reach me by phone, and asking me to suggest times when I could be reached. I sent 3 separate emails on the 17th stating I was available and would have my phone with me. No contact received. 8/18 I called and was told my request was still in modifications. Agent said he would check something, then call was disconnected. I called back and spoke to different agent who could only tell me a ticket had been sent to modifications, no timeline or helpful information. I told her I needed to change the reservation, she said my option was to cancel and rebook, but this would be new reservation.
At this point, I told her I wanted to cancel reservation and have my money refunded. Almost immediately, I received email offering a voucher. I told her I wanted a refund, not a voucher. She just repeated I would get an email. I asked to speak to someone who could clarify things, and she said she would have someone call me the same day. That did not happen. I then received a cancellation email which stated that at time of my initial reservation, I had been offered and declined a refund protection plan. This is absolutely a FALSE statement.
No mention was ever made of such a plan, so I definitely did not decline a refund protection plan at the date and time on my written statement. Nor was there mention of a so-called free membership to Global Privileges. I also never got a confirmation email with this information at the time of initial booking, I sent an email 8/18 noting the above false statement and suggested the company pull the recording to verify this fact. I also noted the complete absence of any type of customer service once the initial reservation was made and my money paid.
On 8/19, I received a call from agent on phone 800-898-1347 stating my money would be refunded to my credit card in 2-10 business days. I sent an email asking for written verification of the information. No response. No money has been refunded in over 2 weeks. I have called company, but now my only option is to leave a message requesting a callback. I have done this twice and received no response. I have also sent a follow-up email requesting my promised refund and asking for a telephone call from supervisory personnel. Again, no response. I simply want my money refunded to my credit card as was promised.

My experience with Daniel was nice. He was personable, kind, and informative. It was helpful that I did not have to drive around at night in an unfamiliar city. However, my stay at Days Inn was less than desirable.. If I wouldn’t have been so tired, I would’ve packed my bags and left. The staff was fine however the room was not clean. I made sure that none of my stuff touched any surface! The only thing this hotel had it going for was there were no bedbugs. I would never stay at that hotel again.

I’m angry that I was tricked into thinking I was calling the actual hotel. I was promised by the rep a first floor room and they didn’t have one available when I got to the hotel. Then I was told at the hotel that I had actually called a third-party booking service but I was told on the phone that I was speaking the hotel in the town I wanted to stay in. I also paid almost twice what I would have paid had I called the hotel itself (which, again, I was led to believe I was). What a scam!!

The person was very helpful and answered every question I asked which was a lot. She answered everything that I asked her. I was asking about camping and the hotel and the different prices and if I could take an RV up there with the tent and she said yes, all in the same site and tell me how much it would be. The agent ensured I was getting the oceanfront floor room which I explicitly requested only to find out that was not the room I reserved. They also did not advise of cancellation/refund policies and when I followed up they advised my refund was coming. Again without mentioning they only intended to refund 50% of my reservation. I held this reservation 15 minutes and it cost me over $350. This feels like a total scam!

Leaving this review as a hotelier who worked with HotelPlanner with the Dallas Regional Product Director. My hotel got boned out of over $14K from a contracted group that breached the contract, and the other group that did stay damaged our property with no restitution, not to mention all the rebate and commission fees. If there are any sales managers of any hotels reading this-this was my first time working with them, and a lesson learned. While Jennifer was very sweet and professional to work with, I will never again contract with HotelPlanner nor any other third party.

I must offer a cautionary review of this company. I spoke to an online representative whom I thought was a Westin Hotel representative, but unfortunately, I was speaking to a HotelPlanner representative. The hotel planner agent never identified the organization for whom she worked. I explained that my mother was 104 years of age and I wanted to have a place for her to stay during the winter storm. I gave the hotel planner all the requirements I needed for the hotel and she said she found a hotel that met all the requirements. However, when we arrived that evening the hotel had none of the amenities and special needs services that the planner had promised. I immediately told the front desk we were leaving and not staying at the hotel as the hotel planner had misrepresented the hotel. I had booked for three nights.
I called HotelPlanner that night and explained that their representative had given inaccurate information regarding the hotel's services and we were unable to stay. Thus, I inquired about a refund. The agent agreed and said she would forward my issue to the appropriate party. I understood that the booking was non-refundable. However, I assumed when the hotel planner agent provides false information just to make a sale, this behavior would be considered fraudulent and unethical. I called many times to follow up and was told my case was referred to the escalation department.
I even called my credit card company but was informed that Hotel Planner's "no refund" policy protected the business. I would recommend to be very careful about doing business with this company. This customer experience seems like elder abuse as it does not reflect best business practice.

The Representative who assisted me with making reservations was very helpful! He made sure I understood the restrictions, i.e. non-refundable reservations, etc. He confirmed the dates of my stay multiple times to ensure I was saying and thinking the correct dates. I booked a room for a specific court date. Made that perfectly clear to the employee, and bought the insurance in case the court date changed. I was told that since it had to do with court, it would be covered. When the court date did change the hotel was canceled several days in advance, I confirmed that with three hotel planner employees and the hotel itself. Since it wasn’t specifically for jury duty, they told me they would not refund any of my money. After my credit card company got involved they came back and said they would refund my money. But there will be a 90 day wait. The trip was canceled July 25, three weeks ago, and now I have to wait another 90 days. At this time having still not received a refund, I would not use hotel planner again and not recommend anybody else did. If I when I actually see an almost $400 refund I will post an updated review.

I would give zero stars if I could. On August 4, I called what I believed to be the Hotel Indigo to place a reservation for August 15. During the call, I specifically asked several times if I was speaking with a third party, as I know how difficult cancellations can be through outside booking companies. The representative assured me that he worked directly for the hotel. To protect myself in case plans changed, I confirmed the cancellation policy and was told nothing about restrictions or fees beyond canceling within the allowed timeframe. The next day, August 5, I learned my husband had already booked a room. I immediately called to cancel my reservation with the hotel. This is when I discovered I had actually booked through HotelPlanner.com, not the hotel directly.
When I contacted HotelPlanner.com, they informed me I was not eligible for a full refund. At no point during the booking process was I told this, and the representative misrepresented their affiliation, leading me to believe I was booking directly with the hotel. I am now out $224.45. Also, when they told me I couldn't get my money back, I told her, "Never mind, don't cancel my room, we would cancel my husband's room," (not even 2 minutes after she told me). She said, "oh too late, I already cancelled your room." This is unacceptable! HotelPlanner.com is misleading customers into believing they are booking directly with hotels. I have since been unable to reach them by email or chat, and they have been unresponsive.
I have requested a refund on their website and received an email saying it was being looked into. So I also put in a comment with the BBB, and received a response from Michelle that said they were looking into the matter. Then I received a text message that said a refund would be issued. The money was pending in my acct. and I was satisfied that the matter was resolved. Then a few hours later I received an email saying that the refund protection had been cancelled (I don't understand what that means) and the money was re-withdrawn from my acct. I don't appreciate them continuing to go into my account to take out the money. I would like a refund for them misrepresenting themselves and pretending to be the hotel directly. Not how you should treat your elderly customers.

Do not use their service. They should not even get a 1 start review. I called them 5 times and they keep lying to me. 5 calls and 5 agents talking without logic and lying to what they will do and what they actually do. I requested an email confirmation and they said, "Sorry just wait 2 days for an email, we can't send you an email of what we just spoke about it." Then I get an email with no agent name and very vague, no good information 😒 😐. I am calling my bank for a dispute because these company and agents are useless and just trying to take people's money and waste the customer's time

Customer service person did a good job. At the time of booking, a refund cancellation fee was added, which was mentioned, but it was automatically added, and I did not wanted. Also, the pet fee which is incurred at the time of check-in was not mentioned in the website and was not mentioned by the customer service rep until I inquired about it. I was told it gets added on when I get to the hotel on check-in. I feel these fees should be indicated upfront.

HotelPlanner.com aka Hotel Reservations, is a scam, do not use them! We might be out $3,000. Our daughter went online to book a hotel room on the Marriott's website, a pop-up appeared that we did not take notice of, she booked the room, and seconds later we received strange-looking emails from a third party saying we booked a non-refundable room that cannot be refunded unless we purchase insurance. The emails did not look legit either. I called the phone number, and spoke to someone in a different country, explaining the accidental booking by my daughter just seconds prior.
The reservation was for February 2026. The person on the line said she would make a "ticket" but could not guarantee me any refunds. She said it will take 10 days or longer for someone to review it. I told her we will dispute it with our credit card company. She said if I do this then the refund could take months. I called my credit card company and they said this is most likely a scam. Beware and look for HotelPlanner and Hotel Reservations and avoid booking through this scam website!

If I could give no stars I would! But unfortunately, I can't! This is the worst experience I've had with booking/canceling reservations. This company is very deceptive in it's business practices. I was misled and lied to by an agent pretending to be a representative for the hotel I wanted to stay at. I've been trying to get a full refund for canceling those reservations since July 2025. Ms. Melanie ** (Owner) replied back to me offering her personal assistance. I've sent several emails to her since then, with no responses. I've been very patient and continue to get the runaround. I'll be taking the next steps necessary to get my full refund.

Strongly discourage booking any hotel reservations with Hotel Planner.com/bookingonline.com. The information is misleading and basically a scam. They don’t make reservations as promised and you will be disappointed when checking into your hotel and find out that they don’t have any reservations listed for you. Your credit card has been prepaid and you will not receive a refund. They claim a voucher will be issued via email. Once you receive a voucher you can use at anytime to rebook, that’s untrue”. The voucher is not valid and you’re not able to use. Customer service is horrible and you will not be able to speak with a representative to get the issue resolved. Total SCAM…. Do not use this service!!!!

Your hotel room voucher is applicable towards a single hotel reservation booked on Voucher.hotelplanner.com. You may book a hotel reservation greater than your voucher amount by using your credit card for the remaining balance after the voucher is applied on the checkout page.
You can select any hotel worldwide, for any stay dates that are available to book on Voucher.hotelplanner.com. You can book the rooms yourself on Voucher.hotelplanner.com like you normally would and choose the Voucher option at checkout.

Cath was very efficient but talked really fast. Some words I didn’t understand, had to have her repeat a few things. She wanted my credit card number before she gave the price, I had to ask her what the price was before I would give her my card number.

Do Not use this company EVER! For a medical reason, I have tried to get my reservation money back since April 2025. Today is August and I still do not have a refund. I called to this company a couple dozen times and their reply was only Wait and Wait. I requested a supervisor to contact me but sure enough a supervisor has never returned my calls. I received two emails that I should receive a refund within 10 business days but I have never gotten my money back.

Updated on 09/02/2025: This should not even have a rating. I called this number and booked 2 rooms. I received a Hotel Reservation Confirmation. Five minutes after that reservation that made a 2nd reservation on my credit card for an additional 2 rooms. So they double booked me 5 minutes apart. With only one phone call. I have made a total of 8 phone calls to this company to get my credit card credited back for thier mistake. They did credit back half of the charge $348.63 to my credit card for the 3rd room that they booked but did not reimburse me for room 4. The hotel also would not help us because we used a third party to book. Going through HotelPlanner did not save us any money on price so run. Do not walk from this company.
Original review: I called the number and spoke in person with a agent for a stay at Hilton Anatole in Dallas. I asked for one night stay with 2 rooms and 2 queen beds for each room. We got it booked and I got a confirmation email with my total of $648. I got to the hotel to check in and the desk said I had 4 rooms. I told him it was a mistake that I had only booked 2 rooms. He said I would have to call to cancel. They could not do it. I called the number on my receipt. The gentleman I spoke with said he would get them canceled but I would receive no refund. I let him know that I never booked 4 rooms, that that was their mistake and I wanted a full refund. He put me on hold and then came back to say it would be taken care of and my refund would take 2-10 business days.
I then received a message at 10 pm that after further review they would not refund my money. So I then called them back and had another conversation and said I had never asked for 4 rooms. It was 2 on my receipt, why did they double book me. Then I found out after my call that they sent another itinerary out. It did not say confirmation but it was 2 rooms with the same total as my confirmation receipt. I had only made the one call to book the two rooms. She put me on hold and came back to say it would be taken care of. The next date after I have checked out, I received another message that my money would not be refunded. So they doubled booked me but would not refund my charge. So I am contacting my credit card company. But I would not trust this company. You will notice in the photos that one of the reservations says confirmed sent after my phone call. Then a second email was sent that does not say confirmed.

We were able to locate your reservation in our system and we show that you have disputed the charge for your reservation, and once a reservation is disputed we are locked out of the account or "charge" for 90-120 days. If you have a letter from your bank/credit card holder stating the dispute is withdrawn, we can make the request for the dispute review to be closed early.
This is what needs to be included in the dispute closed letter, which is emailed to ChargeReview@HotelPlanner.com // CC: Melanie.Planelles@HotelPlanner.com.
1. MUST be a screenshot of a message in the bank’s online messaging portal or a photo of a letter on bank letterhead (Cannot be a forwarded email from a bank rep)2. MUST state cardholder dropped or withdrew the dispute
3. MUST include the following info, which must match the charge info:
· Cardholder name
· Last four digits of the card
· Amount of dispute
If you can present this documentation, we can work to have your dispute closed earlier, but we cannot promise approval. We will contact you with a status update as soon as we hear back from the merchant of record for this booking.

This was not a good experience, the company booked a room that didn’t exist at the hotel. I got a call from the hotel explaining. My wife got in touch and was hung up on after trying to find out what else we can do. They had then found us a room had to book then for 2 nights. The hotel we get to ended up having dead bugs all in the room. This refund process has been a nightmare. The hotel approved the refund 2 days after we tried staying there. This company had told me the refund was processed July 14th and expect 2-10 days. Day 11 I get in touch and they say they will escalate the issue and expect it within 2 days. 2 days go by and I call again and they still say they will escalate once more. So today is the 1st now of August. We just got a message saying it is now processed and expect 2-10 days. All around a terrible experience.

Kindly, Melanie **." I emailed Melanie yesterday/cut and pasted address, came back NOT deliverable.... hmmm??? My number **.
Original Review: I called Comfort Suites to make a reservation near family member house to visit. Unknown to me I was re-routed to HotelPlanner. They billed my card in advance, never happened before and I cancelled the card as I thought it was fraud. Checking out from the hotel, I asked for and invoice and for the 4 days came to $460. Hotel Planners billed me for $795. I instructed my bank not to pay the extra $335. None of this was ever disclosed to me. Will now always ask if this is a 3rd party, if so I will hang up. I wish I could give them negative stars. I feel I should call the attorney general in the state.
