Samuel was so very helpful with the reservation. When I told him that we were evacuated from our apartment due to a fire and he seemed concerned that we were ok. We had a cat and were concerned about the cat and he assured us that the motel did indeed accept cats. The room itself was clean and comfortable.

Very unhappy with my experience using HotelBooking.com and I will not be using this service again. When an issue occurred with my reservation, I could not reach a real human by phone for assistance, which was extremely frustrating. The site claimed there were no available rooms, yet when I called the hotel directly, they confirmed multiple rooms were available, forcing me to book two entire rooms unnecessarily. They also failed to notify the hotel that I was traveling with dogs, despite assuring me this would be noted. The cancellation process was time-consuming and difficult. Overall, this service was unreliable and made an already stressful travel situation even worse.

He did not help me at all! I told him I had a cat and he still booked me at a hotel that doesn't take cats. The Woodspring Suites Richmond heights takes only dogs. No cats and now we are fighting to get our money back! Unacceptable! Know the policies if you are booking people who are traveling thousands of miles!

Patrick knows his stuff! He does great and love his confidence. I’m impressed by how fast he can talk as well but maybe slow it down just a bit. So of us have not heard the info you're giving. Loving that airport parking is free for us when we stay there. Glad to hear that.

Horrible experience. I have never been deceived so much with unkept promises from this company. I called to change the room to two beds 5 min after I reserved and was promised a change. Since I never got any confirmation I called back a week later and nothing was done. I booked for the two beds more expensive rate because they promised again not to charge me a penalty for the other room. They charged me the penalty because they are now telling me is upon their review. The lady who promised the full amount reimbursed said everything was recorded and gave me her word. But now they keep saying wait 10 more days to decide. They said the same thing before about changing the room. I do not even trust this company is legitimate. I hope I really got a reservation.

I was pleased that I could easily reserve a room from Dec. 24-27 at the Americinn in Rochester MN. It was an easy process, however, sometimes I had a difficult time understanding Carol **. I don't know if that is partly due to my and/or hearing problem (I don't think I have a problem, but perhaps I do!). And there were a couple of times when she repeated back to me incorrect numbers but that is likely due to how I said them. I think I said the wrong number, then corrected myself. But in the end, she received all my information and I received a confirmation text. I received a text saying the email with my confirmation bounced back. I tried to correct, but the email was already correct to I don't understand why the email didn't go through.

I had a little bit of difficulty with your accent. Not always sure what you were saying. The confirmation said the queen room was for 1 adult, but I asked for 2, so I had to call to make sure. Other than that, all was satisfactory. She did an excellent job.

My husband booked a hotel in Florida and we have been waiting just to change a date. No one at the company can help and told us they will let us know day of. I would never use this company ever. Buyer beware, make your booking with a hotel directly. This company is horrible.

Ricardo spoke quickly on the phone, told me there were only 2 rooms and I asked him to hold the rooms for me. He told me I could cancel without fee if canceled by 1/26/2026. Then when I canceled 2 hours after booked, they tried to charge me a (1) night stay. Horrible customer service!

I was literally lied to by this woman Jerry. I asked if she was a third-party. She said no. I asked if I could cancel the reservation. She told me 24 hours before we arrived up till then I told her I wanted breakfast included. She said yes. I got the confirmation email. There was no breakfast mentioned. It said nonrefundable. I said to her I don’t feel comfortable this I wanna cancel and the phone hung up. I have never been through something like this. My husband was very upset and he has five stents in his heart and I don’t need him having a heart attack over some business that felt like we were being scammed and lied to- very, very upsetting.

I’d love to help! I have searched our system but I am having a hard time finding your reservation with the information provided. I enjoyed my stay at the Red Roof hotel. While I was there my son was with me the entire time and he said that he likes the hotel, the area clothing stores and the choices of restaurants. Before we stayed at the Red Roof hotel I did my research and there were some good reviews and there were some negative reviews. I have to say that I have stayed at the Residence Inn, the Millennium hotel and Extended Stay America and none of them clean up or give you towels, trash bags, tissue like the Red Roof hotel employees who maintain hygiene and cleanliness. They will knock on your hotel room to ask if you need anything. No other hotel has done this.
I am also an Army Veteran and I am aware of my surroundings and the folks around me but none of the guest at the Red Roof made me feel or my son feel uncomfortable. I was never uncomfortable from day one, we stayed for over a month. Every guest never appeared to put me or my son in danger, actually every other guest that stayed at the Red Roof or was in the area kindly spoke or went about their business in a positive way. I am glad that I did not let any negativity affect me from not booking my stay. Also the front desk employees were not only professionals but they were always nice and helpful. This is my A-1 hotel which means that whenever I need a hotel I will look into making reservations at the Red Roof hotel.

This experience was completely misleading and very disappointing. I called the phone number that I thought belonged to the Courtyard by Marriott in Bangor, ME, it even had the correct area code. The call was answered by what I thought was the Marriott reservations line. The person I spoke to was very professional, but mislead me into my continued belief I was speaking with Marriott. I told him my spouse was having surgery at Eastern Maine and he said he could give me the medical discount. He even said he could look up my Marriott rewards number and said he had it. He did not tell me the reservation was not cancellable.
When I called the hotel this morning they told me the room had been booked through a third party and that they could not cancel it. The rate I received from this company was more than twice what the hotel was charging. He never came out and said he worked for Marriott but did not correct me when I continued as if I was speaking directly to that company.
I have called and asked for my credit card to be refunded based on the out and out deception that occurred on the call and have been told it was escalated. I will be contacting my credit card company and filing a grievance with them as well. Under no circumstances will I ever use or recommend hotelplanner.com. I will actively make sure my friends and family know not to use it either. Make sure if you look up a contact number online that it really is the company, that is where the first misrepresentation began! What a terrible company interaction!

Tricky tricky tricky. Pretended to be with the actual hotel. No mention of being with outside booking service. Even confirmed a few times they were actually at the property, and confirmed we got the corporate rate of Jacko Logistics. We had no idea the entire conversation was a lie. We did not get the corporate rate. And because we unknowingly went through a booking service, there was nothing we could do to get the reservation or rate we wanted. Terrible, dishonest thing to do to your customers. Liars.

When looking to make a reservation at the Hilton Austin Airport, a Google search presented the Hilton link to appear as a direct link to the hotel. When I booked the hotel I was under the impression I was booking directly when in fact the hotel planner link looked deceptively like the hotel's reservation link. I had chosen the wrong property and immediately cancelled the room. Due to Hotel Planner's insanely restrictive policies, even when I had to pay for "insurance" I am now stuck paying for the room - even when I cancelled in less than an hour of booking it. Be warned!!!

We've been staying at this hotel for over three weeks, and I tried to extend the stay two nights and got a real big hassle from the customer service from both Miguel and Jeffrey. Really unnecessary. They treated us like we were using someone else's credit card when our cart has been on file the entire time. When you gather the confirmation number, it wasn't even accurate.

Kimone wasn't very pleasant. After I gave her my credit card number I asked if I could reschedule if needed. She said no rescheduling, so I said cancel everything. We said goodbye and I checked my credit card and I was charged for the room anyway. I want a refund or I will file fraud. I tried calling back but was left on hold for over 10 minutes. I had to go to work so I hung up and will call back tomorrow. Very poor service. Very dissatisfied.

I believe you quoted me 280 on the phone and I notice my credit card was booked for 380. That’s a big difference and it was obvious that I was talking to a bot not a real person. There was a delay in the communication which made the conversation not flow.

Daniel was very nice as a person but he was basically a liar. I asked him if he was directly with Marriott and he misled me to believe he was without saying yes or no. Not happy about that. Luckily I called the hotel directly and the reservation was there. In addition he said I booked a king with a pull out (as requested) couch but he booked me with 2 queens. I will never go through Expedia or one of these websites again. Too bad he wasn’t a man behind his words.

I was traveling back from the death of a loved one and was too tired to continue. I tried to book online, but was unable to do so. I called the number with the area code 507 trying to call the hotel directly. I was quoted a much higher number ($138/$110 with my discount) than was on the website ($79). I specifically asked if I was talking to Econolodge. I was told (by Raemarc?) that “yes I was talking to Econolodge corporate”. This was not true. I find out later that I was actually talking to hotelplanner. I asked why the rate was not the $79 that I was seeing online.
The representative said that that rate was no longer available and that it did not include fees and taxes. This was also not true. I drove to the hotel and their rate was $77. With my discount and the fees and taxes. I paid $80. I called to cancel the misrepresented quote/charge. I spoke to Joe, who would not give his last name, but at this point told me he was Hotelplanner. Under the circumstances, I requested a full cancellation and refund. He said he would try, but that someone else would have to decide if I got a full refund or not. I am expecting a full refund and am very disappointed at the misrepresentation and overcharge I experienced.

I do not recommend this booking service. They are very difficult to work with and the booking tool is confusing. We booked a room at a Marriott property and had to cancel it on the same day we made the booking. HotelPlanner.com would not refund any of the money costing me over $1,100.00. I contacted Marriott and they said the funds should have refunded but Hotel Planner.com refused to refund anything. I will never recommend a booking service that cannot work with its customers.

On 11/28/26, I thought I was booking a room through Marriott Hotels. However, after going on what looked exactly like the hotel website I was totally lied to by “Lydia.” She represented herself as the hotel I wanted to book, but she was actually a third-party agent. Lydia told me I could cancel the day of arrival, but when I tried to cancel the room (after I found out I had NOT booked through Marriott) I was told I had to have cancelled on 11/27/25-the day before I made the reservation.
When I called the number on the reservation, I was informed that I had been “told” about the cancel/refund policy, but of course, I was told something totally different. Also, after finally obtaining the hotel’s phone number, I was told the amount charged for the room was way over the rate the hotel charges. AND this creepy HotelBooking company had already charged me the full amount on the credit card, and when I called to complain, that company only refunded one quarter of what was charged to my credit card. Lydia and this “fake” rip-off booking agency basically have stolen money from me. I have filed a dispute through Capital One. I would rate this company zero if I could.

My husband and I have four children, we clicked on the top link of a Google search to reserve a motel at Ramada by Wyndham near Spokane Airport. It was the link for Hotel Planner, and I called the number on this website instead of Ramada, maybe? I asked if the hot tub and waterside were open, and was assured that they were. I asked for two queen beds. When we got to the motel, hot tub and waterside were closed. My kids were pretty disappointed. We had a king bedroom. We also got charged an extra $400 to our card that when I called about, I was assured that it was pending and would drop off. It posted this morning. I have never written a review in my life, but really felt the need to do this one. The breakfast was great. It doesn’t look like the motel was responsible for most of this, but that this hotel planner website was.

Scam. Completely fraudulent booking service. Booked a hotel reservation through them. Ended up having to travel on business. But I purchased refund protection, and provided the proof they required to receive a refund before the date of the reservation (the paid receipt for a flight, as THEY asked for). They denied my request. I filed a complaint with the BBB. They then just blamed the HOTEL and said THE HOTEL refused to provide a refund. I paid for refund protection with HotelPlanner, not the hotel. Do not book through this company.

I have stayed at the Red Roof Plus in the past. I always have a mini fridge and a microwave. I double checked with the HotelPlanner and she said yes. NO mini fridge, NO microwave! It seems like I got the cheapest room at regular price. I will never book a room over the phone again. It's best to go in person so that you can see what you're getting.

This was terrible. I was lied to! I didn’t get the room I wanted and paid for. He lied about my military discount. He lied early check-in. He just lied about everything. The hotel was ok, although the water pressure wasn’t great. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The agent that booked this room for me though, he’s a dirty and awful liar! The call was a polite, quick and efficient. I was in transit which makes business calls challenging. He put himself in the role of a customer by clearing up any confusion on my end on why the phone calls were going to a central call agency, which is what good customer service is about. Tyler displayed situational and product competency with quickly expediting the call with minimum maintenance on my part. Instead of my having to read out the long confirmation number, he was able to pull me right up. Hopefully, this review summarizes Tyler's ability to perform his tasks and duties as a model for others.

Typical language barrier making it difficult to navigate conversation, although not as bad as I’ve experienced in the past with CRA agents or Telus. The real disappointment was a constant crackling static with the audio, probably caused by the hands-free device used by the agent. This made conversation almost impossible. After approximately 22 minutes, I was finally able to make a simple one-room reservation.

I had to make four phone calls speak to four different people and I received horrible service. No one could answer my questions. I was on the call for 20 minutes and she could not get my card to process so she was going to connect me to the service department and they wanted an itinerary number which I did not have and it did not take me to anyone that I could speak to. When I first called and asked if you were part of the Marriott program, the gentleman transferred me to that same service line where they want an itinerary number and it led me nowhere!
Then I called back again and got a woman on the phone who took forever ever and ever to process name and address and card number. She said it did not go through. I told her I was not interested and I don’t want the reservation. I see it’s pending on my credit card so please cancel that. I never did receive a confirmation or an email, so I certainly hope my account is not going to be charged. I never received such poor service in my entire life.

Daniel took my reservation for one room with a king bed for one night. I ask if they serve breakfast and he told me they serve a continental breakfast. I booked the room. When I arrived at the hotel the place was under renovations. The lobby was full of rolls of carpet and the kitchen eating area was closed and filled with furniture. I spoke to the person at registration named Mike. He told that they have been renovating for the past two to three weeks. I informed him that I booked a room because of the continental breakfast and asked for a refund. I tried to call Daniel but got someone else and request a refund because the hotel isn’t what he said it was.

The call taker was terrible, took me 30 minutes to make this reservation. I believe it was a computer, terrible. I won't use it again. The computer voice was terrible and it did not understand what I was saying nor did it have a way update what I was saying without starting over.

Fernando was pleasant and helpful. He had a nice sense of humor too! He also agreed that if the reservation did not work for my son (who I was gifting the night to), I could cancel. I did have to cancel-but am waiting for a new date to rebook!!! Hopefully I get Fernando again!

I hate to be lied to for ɓusiness purpose. I am a business owner who purposely work on being truthful to everyone who enters my doors for business. I was told that I was speaking with the front desk. When I arrived I was told the price was $60 less if we had spoke with some with Choice Hotels

It was a great room... Great breakfast... Would recommend this hotel to anyone I know...was impressed with the price, location and the awesome customer service I received....I felt safe staying at this hotel... Even going out to my car after 9 pm..I felt safe....

Michelle was very misleading and not truthful about this transaction. She told me it could be canceled at any time which was not true - she ran it as a pre-paid reservation. Also, I told her I was tax-exempt and she iterated I could handle that with the front desk. Another lie because she ran it as a pre-paid the desk clerk couldn’t do anything about the taxes. Also she charged me for a refund protection program and never mentioned it or asked. She is a liar and I will not use or stay at this company again.

Gina did an amazing job booking my room at a great rate. It was easier than booking online with our corporate enterprise software that failed me three times before I picked up the phone and called reservations. And the rate over the phone was $14 cheaper!

Patrick demonstrated outstanding professionalism and courtesy throughout our interaction. I had attempted to secure a reservation the previous evening; however, by morning, the website indicated that the booking was still in a processing state and had not finalized much to my dismay. Although the room type I was seeking was no longer available, Patrick was able to apply a small discount to my reservation, which I really appreciated.

My call was answered quickly. Gustavo was very friendly and knowledgeable. I was needing an overnight stay on a very short notice. He checked around and found me a good rate. I would not hesitate to use him again and I would recommend him to anyone.
