    This is the worst airline I have ever flown with. The app doesn't work, over price for baggage, no one to talk with on the phone in emergency situation, poor customer service, you pay for every darn thing and lack of communication, never return calls as indicated on the automated system. Frontier is a bunch of liars.

    This is the worst airline I have ever flown. Poor customer service and they don’t care about it. I paid more than I would flying Delta day of purchase. I will never fly them again. They are more expensive than All other carriers and the service is very poor. I will never fly again.

    The correct rating for Frontier is a negative -10. They are the absolute worst airline I have ever flown! They were unclear on the size bags and quality of bags until loading the plane and then said they were going to leave us unless we paid $99 for an additional carry on bag because of the size of a bag we bring as a carry on for our trips. So rude and unprofessional…

    On my 4th email that I’m delayed again. Been at airport 6 hours for a 2.5 hour flight. Plane emptied and refilled without being cleaned. Everything disgusting. They could care less about the customer and it shows by all employees. Last time I’ll ever fly Frontier!!!!

    I booked a flight with Frontier for my two adult children. One had little flying experience, and the other had none, and it didn't have a layover. They then informed me that the flight was changed to one with a layover in the middle of the night. I think they bumped us because we got what I thought was a good price. I was never able to talk to anyone, but figured out how to cancel. I'm going to go with another airline, even if it ends up being more.

    Budget airline at its finest, seats are like sitting on a concrete bleacher, so uncomfortable maybe add an inch of foam? Employees are brash. Delay after delay…. If you have little $ & tons of patience this is the airline for you.

    I mean - infinite stars. Please do not fly Frontier! **August 4th, Buffalo to Philadelphia: My first and last trip with Frontier.** I’ve quickly come to realize that Frontier is more of a credit card company disguised as an airline. The entire experience was predatory and abusive. My husband inadvertently forgot his carry-on bag, and because paying customers are boarded first, I was left behind with his bag—which I had already paid for at the time of booking. Despite the agent witnessing him board without the carry-on, she allowed him to proceed, only to demand that I pay again to board with the very same bag. The agent was dismissive and rude, insisting I had no option but to pay again for the same carry-on. She also informed me that I could only request a refund by filing an incident report online.

    Upon landing in Philadelphia, one of your agents, Sam, documented that we arrived with only one carry-on bag, for which I had already paid $76 at booking and then an additional $99 before boarding in Buffalo. This alone is outrageous. The ordeal didn’t stop there. We were stranded in Philadelphia for four days due to a flight cancellation. On August 8th, when we were finally rebooked, the experience became even more infuriating: We first endured hours in uncomfortable plastic seats while waiting to take off, then returned to the gate for a passenger who decided to deplane, only to be delayed further as we waited in line behind six other aircraft. After a grueling 10 hours—time that could have gotten us to Europe—we finally landed in Ft. Myers at 1 a.m.

    It’s become clear that Frontier Airlines prioritizes revenue over its customers’ well-being. This experience has left me no choice but to take to the internet and share this outrageous treatment, warning others about your company’s blatant disregard for customer service and ethical business practices. I will also be filing formal complaints with the Better Business Bureau and other consumer complaint boards, as well as sharing this on social media. The way your airline treats paying customers is appalling and unacceptable.

    I'm not sure if I can write a review without being brutally honest and not sound like a complete **! Please do not fly with Frontier. I repeat. Please DO NOT fly with frontier. The airline comes off as affordable but it really isn't. Upfront it looks like a fantastic deal! But they charge you for your bags, selecting your seat or seats. In the end it adds up to the same price to fly with Southwest or American. I have never experienced so many delays with my flights until flying with frontier. I'm not talking about a simple one to two hour delay....no.. no..no.... I'm talking about six to eight hour delays. You get what you pay for! Be advised if you have somewhere to be at a certain time DO NOT fly frontier. I will not fly with them again.... IT'S OVER! hahahaha but seriously it's been a nightmare.

    I have flown Frontier 4 times now. Each time they try and figure out a way to get you to pay for bags at the gate. A cpap is not considered a personal item but a back pack is. apparently that totally confuses them when you put your cpap in the backpack. I had to remove my cpap and carry it. The last leg I did in St. Louis was the worst. It was compounded by the rudeness of the agents. If you’re going to fly frontier, go ahead and add that baggage and see how they’re just as much if not more than other airlines. Skip frontier.

    I contacted the customer service number 1-855-590-8050 regarding discount rates on daily emails that I receive from Frontier Airlines. None of the discounted tickets went through. I tried booking directly, amazingly it booked with none of the promotional pricing. I spoke to an off-shore male operator who informed me that because I booked there was nothing he could do to help, I asked for the call center in the U.S. and was hung-up on.

    I called several more times and finally spoke to a lady who refused to connect me to a U.S. operator, after giving her my confirmation code (**), I was informed that I would lose my ticket if the ticket was not confirmed not confirmed within ???(14hrs)???, she refused to connect me to a U.S. operator, she wanted to keep repeating the same non-sense that my flight wasn't booked even though I have a confirmation code. Again, I asked to speak to a U.S. operator, she refused and hung up on me. What horrible customer service and even worse business acumen. What a shame that the airlines have allowed the absolute decay of customer service.

    On July 29, 2024, at 1:02 PM, I purchased four airline tickets from Frontier Airlines' website for travel from Baltimore, Maryland (BWI) to Chicago. The flight confirmation number was UIHYRN. The scheduled departure was set for Friday, August 16, 2024, at 7:40 PM, with an arrival time of 8:36 PM the same day. On August 15, 2024, at 7:48 PM, I received a confirmation email instructing me to check in for the flight, with the departure and arrival times as initially mentioned. However, on August 16, 2024, at 3:21 PM, I received an email and text message notifying me of a flight delay. The revised schedule indicated a new departure time of 8:39 PM on August 16 and an arrival time of 8:08 PM on August 17, resulting in a total flight duration of 24 hours, which I found unusual.

    Upon arriving at the airport at 7:15 PM, I waited at the counter for approximately 15 minutes. During this time, four Frontier Airlines employees were present but did not offer assistance. After 15 minutes, a staff member informed me that she was no longer serving customers. Eventually, another employee assisted me and advised that boarding passes were only required for TSA screening. We proceeded through TSA and reached the gate listed both on the monitor and in my email by 8:15 PM.

    At 8:39 PM, it was concerning that boarding had not yet begun, and no announcements had been made regarding the flight. I went to the counter, where another passenger was already inquiring about the same issue. The attendant rudely informed us that the Chicago flight had already departed. When I questioned how this was possible given the delay notifications, the attendant claimed no such emails had been sent. Despite showing the email and text notifications on our phones, the attendant became increasingly agitated, asserting that the flight had left a long time ago and that it was fully booked. This was perplexing, as only five passengers were present at the counter.

    I requested a refund on August 17, 2024, at 1:56 PM, but it was denied. I am extremely dissatisfied with the service, as it did not meet expectations and was poorly communicated. Furthermore, it was difficult to reach a live representative to address these issues. Overall, my experience with Frontier Airlines was exceptionally poor. I rate the service as a negative on a scale from 1 to 10, given the lack of accommodation, unclear communication, and inadequate handling of the situation.

    Frontier never again. We had booked originally to fly to Chicago from NYC in April 2024. Frontier cancelled almost in a few days, but that gave us enough time to rebook which was not a big deal. A week or 2 later we noticed a similar flight again with Frontier. I never flew Frontier so I figured since the price is great I'll give it a shot again. This time the cancelled and notified us again after we have arrived to LaGuardia.

    I did find out that that they cancelled flight the day earlier but the email went into spam folder. We had to drive to Chicago barely making it to make our plans. Then Frontier refused to pay me back for the seat assignment and suitcase which I prepared sending me to booking agent Edreams.com which also refused and sent me back to Frontier stating that Frontier somehow can't see it once the flight got cancelled. I was forced to call the credit card as both companies played Ping-Pong with me. I would put it like this, if you like last minute cancellation and stress keep using Frontier, I choose not to.

    Do not ever book with this airline! Horrible service. Flight delayed first day of trip. Second day which they changed, was delayed. They refused to check my bag that was already paid for. Then the supervisor Jonathan at JFK airport refused to give me his last name. I asked him if I need to come up there to speak to someone on behalf of my child since it was her that was flying. He was so small minded that he insinuated that I was threatening to come up there to cause a problem.

    I don’t know where people get their education but it helps to listen to the customer when they are talking. They want to issue her a voucher. That was a joke. Who would want a voucher to come back?!? They moved the flight again! Now it will 3 days just about missed. Also not to mention she paid for an Airbnb for a trip that was supposed to be from Sunday to Saturday. I will be complaining to the BBB also. I advise everyone with a grievance to do the same. Shut this company down!!!

    I usually fly least once per month, often 2-3 trips per month and my 1 trip on Frontier today was the worst experience I've had in years. I was flying from Orlando to Philly on a Sunday afternoon, and my usual major airlines (American or United) were super expensive so I thought I'd give Frontier a try. First the flight was delayed by over 2.5 hrs with no explanation as to why. (The girl actually said over the PA system, "I have no idea why the flight is delayed, they aren't telling us." Which did not leave us with a warm & fuzzy feeling).

    Then when boarding they did not board each zone individually so even though was Zone 3 I was last to board because they lumped 3&4 together. Then once on board I realized this airline is for people who don't fly often, especially with young children. There was a family with a lap child sitting right behind me. They allowed her to bang the tray table up & down the entire 2 hr flight causing my bad back to act up and to not allow me to sleep any on the flight.

    There were multiple young children screaming for the entirety of the flight, even my noise canceling headphones didn't help. If the flight was on time & the babies didn't spend an extra 2.5 hrs un the airport waiting, then maybe it wouldn't have been so bad. Then a soda is $5. I get it's a no frills airline but after the crazy wait & all the screaming children they should do something for us! I have children and I flew with them when they were young, but I always bought them their own ticket so they could have their car seat and be properly seat belted in and take other precautions as to not disturb others on the flight.

    This airline is a joke. I wasn't able to check in online. I had to download the app, and because I didn't, and I did the checking at airport I got charged $25 for each passenger. $125 in total for 4 passengers. They charged me for a passenger that didn't even aboard the flight, and instead of me getting my money back for that person not flying I got charged a $25 for someone that didn't travel, on top of that they charge me $79 for two carry on bags and $79 for a bag that I did check in and another $79 plus $75 because they said anything over 40lbs is overweight.?

    $391+$125= $516 extra and on top of this because cancelations due to Ernesto hurricane and the plane being full I bought a seat for my 2 year old daughter and they told me she had to go on my lap so I pay for a seat for no reason? And when I told them accordingly to the rules and regulations any kid older than two years old have to be seated they just told me to shut up because the flight was already delayed and it was running late. They had to seat everyone inside the plane.

    This is the text I got from them last night. Frontier Travel Alert: Flight 3002 from SJU is delayed because of flight crew regulations. Departure now estimated at 7:36 am. For the passenger that didn't flight I call the airline a week in advance and I wasted a whole day on the phone going from one lady to another. I will wait to hear back from them because there's no way you can make a formal complaint. And to top it off if you want water you have to pay for it. I won’t be surprised if they start charging you if you use the bathroom while you’re flying!!!!

    One of the top 5 worst experiences of my life and I’m old :-). Don’t expect to get any answers from Frontier if you have an issue or your flight is delayed 6 hours. You are just along for their ride and you should just accept their complete incompetence and indifference. I don’t care if I was stranded on an island and a Frontier flight was the only flight out, I wouldn’t take it. It’s not worth the unbelievable frustration and stress. NEVER AGAIN. If everyone working at Frontier lost their jobs I promise the world would be a better place

    My son was asked to be part of a wrestling event in Puerto Rico. He arrived 2 hours early at the JFK airport, TSA took their time even though my son had no bags. The gate closed 30 minutes early and in his face. Then the plane sat at the gate for 25 minutes after departure time. 2 other guys and a family were left at the gate. Frontier overbooks their flights and once all seats are filled they take off. Thanks to Frontier my son missed an event that was part of his life long dream, and his family in Puerto Rico did not get to see him wrestle. Frontier killed the dreams of my son, a grandfather and 2 uncles. And not to mention a very upset promoter who invested in this event.

    A simple customer service phone number answered by an English speaking customer service representative. Sorry, non responsive Robots is all you will receive. Good luck trying to find a number for anyone at corporate headquarters either. Drove to the airport to speak to a human being twice. Employees do not know how to resolve the problem nor refer me to someone who could. They also refused to provide me with the names and phone numbers of their supervisors or even give me their own names. Here is mine **. I am out over $1800. How about a call? The one star is highly over rated.

    Don’t understand why my wife and I made reservations at the same time with the same last name and we are seated in different areas of the plane. Frontier website advises that it will come more to speak with someone, therefore it costed me $338 additional to sit together. No agent is at the check in until one hour before the flight, the agent was actually sitting near the gate. She still arrived late and was extremely unfriendly, either not answering questions or taking a long time to answer. This delayed us get through security in a timely manner.

    Frontier has a bag weight limited of 40 pounds, with 50 pounds being the norm therefore one can expect to have to pay an overweight fee. Frontier charges $70 per bag, so round trip was an additional $280. I feel that Frontier offered a low cost ticket, then upon arriving at the gate charged me an additional $618, making the trip very expensive, this was a deceptive tactic.

    Frontier has become the worst airline ever to fly the friendly skies. I used to frequent Frontier, but it had been about 8 years since I flew with them. I based my choice of flying with them on my previous positive experience. Boy was I WRONG! The flight prices were excellent, so I purchased tickets for my 3 children from CLE to ATL. However, I think it robbery to charge customers $79 to check a 40lb piece of luggage and $79 to carry on my own bag?--- Which was a bookbag! Baggage fees alone were $537. This airline is horrible and I have now heard that Frontier is barely a cut above Spirit Airlines...What a shame. Price gouging by a company usually indicates that one is on their way Out Of Business. Neither I nor my family members will ever fly Frontier Airlines again, unless they change their customer-robbing ways. Flyer Be Aware!

    Worst experience EVER!! Frontier staff were not helpful and never showed up to the counter to provide Information to assist us to get through TSA. This resulted in having a higher security check and resulted In several items being discarded that otherwise would have been allowed. Additionally flight was cancelled and we were forced to get 45 minute transportation to another airport only to have it delayed over 4 hours and was 16 hour flight including layover!! We had to get another flight and pay over $600! Do not book if you are not ready to go more money and be inconvenienced!

    We were booked on a flight from Tampa to Philadelphia 10/9/24. After a 4-hour delay with little info we were cancelled. We had to get to Philadelphia that day so were forced to pay double for a Delta flight into Detroit then on to Philadelphia as Frontier had nothing that could get us there that day. We received a meal voucher that we were unable to use because we had to board the Delta flight and a $100 voucher for future flight which didn't even touch the cost of Delta flights or damages sustained by our delay to Philadelphia. It is virtually impossible to talk to a live person. Both times I got someone through chat, I was cut off before resolving the issue. Terrible customer service…

    My mother passed away and I needed to go back home to Seattle from Los Angeles, Ontario airport. My flight was booked for August 8th at 11am. My three grandchildren were visiting me from Seattle so I had them with me. We received an alert over the loud speaker announcing the flight was delayed. We ask if there was another flight scheduled and was told that flight was full and we would have to wait until the next day. We went back the next day and the flight was cancelled again. I was offered another flight for the coming weekend but requested my money back. I missed my mother’s funeral. I’m so devastated. I relied on Frontier Airlines to get me to Seattle and they never did. My sister told me she got stuck in Hawaii for hours and San Francisco. I truly believe Frontier Airlines is committing fraud by knowingly booking flights they know they do not have the capacity to serve.

    I am trying to figure why Frontier Airlines flights have flight attendants. They don't do anything except their pre-flight announcement. Once the flight is in the air they just sit on their asses the whole flight. From RDU to Boston there was NO beverage service or snack service. Then toward the end of the flight they walk the cabin with a trash bag to collect trash. What trash would I generate if they didn't serve me anything! It seems like when spent money on the ticket I only paid for the pilots time and gas for the plane. Not sure what the purpose of the flight attendants were.

    Got to my destination with absolutely 0 problems. My return flight was delayed 3 hours before my flight, then 20 minutes later canceled our entire flight and connection flight, because we’d miss our connecting flight in Denver, saying that I needed to rebook with them. Was supposed to leave at 1am, but had to reschedule for a 2:40pm flight with 0 compensation or accommodations for the 13 hour wait. We were actually told no to any kind of refund or overnight support due to the cause of the delay being “weather conditions”, despite policy stating any 3+ hr delay can come with refund of unused ticket portions upon request since they deemed it as an “uncontrollable event”.

    Our original boarding pass sent us to D16 in Terminal 1, where waited for the initial 13 hours, but at 1:40 was changed to the adjacent gate D18, which was actually a flight to Ontario instead of our actual destination and turned out to be the entirely wrong gate because without any notification the gate was changed once again to E9; in a completely separate area at Terminal 3. Once we arrived at the said terminal at 1:49pm, with boarding at 1:55pm and the plane sitting right outside the window, the flight was once again delayed until 4:00pm. This made our arrival time to home from 7:52AM to 8:34pm. Waiting to see if there are any additional delays and how smooth the flight goes!

    I don’t recommend flying Frontier. Never. My first and last time!! Customer service was very horrible. Nasty attitudes. Very rude…When I got on the plane flight was delayed for maybe 2-3 hours. We sat on the plane until the weather cleared up and not to mention I asked for water and they told me no because we were about to land in 20 minutes which it was about 30 minutes and I was choking. SMH. Not to mention they switched terminals so I had to get another flight which was worse.

    We flew to Cincinnati and as soon as we got off the plane I checked my email and the flight was cancelled while we were in the air. We asked for a supervisor which no one was available. We had to go all the way on the other side to get information which they weren’t helpful and they only gave me a one way flight which I paid for a round trip ticket. I was stuck at the airport because my flight was for two days later which I ended up booking another flight for $200 for a one way which was more than my round trip just so I wasn't stuck at the airport for two days. Worse service ever. I highly recommend not flying with Frontier.

    Not worth the hassle. Several costs to add to your trip from bags to booking to everything. We had to pay $75 each for 4 bags two-way, so it cost us $600 just for bags domestic, then you have to register through the apps before you could print boarding passes and bag tags at the kiosk. No one wants to help because if you cannot navigate the system which is not user-friendly, and you go to the ticket counter, they will charge you $25 per person to check you in. So now the cost is $100/4 (two way) person plus 4 bags/two way $600, total so far $800, plus airfare. NOT WORTH IT. Fly Delta or one of those reputable companies and pay the cost.

    We are computer literate and we struggled to check in. I have a PhD. Can you imagine people who are not computer literate and cannot afford the extra cost and hassle. Save yourself the trouble and fly with a more reputable airline. And what is up with these airline charging $3.99 for a can of coke? No inflight service. Not even a cup of water to take pills/medication. No not fly Frontier

    Do not honor ADA.. have me waiting for hours because their self check system was down. By the time I got to my gate the airplane had closed its doors. They gave me a hard time. Finally they wheel me back to a hotel ... changed my flight for the following day at 9 pm. Expecting me to sit in a wheelchair for 9 hours to board my flight.

    I recently traveled with my family from Puerto Rico to JFK on Flight 3548 on August 5, after our delayed departure from a connecting flight from St. Thomas and I must express my profound disappointment with the experience. Our flight began boarding at 7:30 PM but did not depart until 9:20 PM. Throughout this entire delay, not once did the captain communicate with the passengers. We received no greeting, no explanation for the lengthy delay, and no reassurance during the strong turbulence we experienced.

    To make matters worse, after landing, the captain still did not address us at all. It left me questioning whether this lack of communication was due to the fact that we were flying from Puerto Rico. I couldn’t help but feel that we were treated as if we were unworthy of a quality flying experience. The overall attitude felt dismissive, and it was as if we were simply cattle being herded rather than valued customers. Additionally, there weren’t enough drinks and snacks available for purchase on the flight. This only added to the frustration of an already disappointing journey. I expected more from Frontier Airlines, and I hope future flights will prioritize passenger communication and comfort.

    This experience has been veerrryyyyy telling. They canceled the flight last minute…Let me explain what that means…You’ll see people who can’t afford to get on another flight sleeping on the floors of the airport scattered about, I mean mothers cradling children, families throwing towels down on the floor and using suitcases as pillows. They have a voucher system that sends you to a hotel 15 minutes away driving, but they don’t offer transportation. You have to go get your luggage again and begin the process the same day. They don’t communicate with the other vessels of the airport so they didn’t update my daughter's airport means if I went through TSA with my little one (8 years old) before they sent us to the back of another line for a manual copy of the ticket so she could fly with me. It was horrific!

    And now I’m sitting in the airport hoping the next flight doesn’t get canceled. Not to mention that accommodations…not their forte. We went from one side of the airport to another…You have to think about how big an airport is to begin with. This is terrible. Please save up and take another airline…because this was actually terrible. Not to mention when the flight was delayed they had a long line of people with questions and they were yelling out false information…They have a low cancelation rate because they put it down as a delay!!! Not a cancellation.

    Me and my family of 12 were to fly to Phoenix, Arizona on Friday night Aug 2nd. We were told minutes before flight that pilot could no longer fly due to timing out! We were delayed several times after that and were not going to be able to get to the service of our family member. We had spent money on Air BnB, food, transportation. We will never get a hat chance again to say our goodbyes or have closure of seeing dear loved one put to rest. We were robbed of that. Frontier Airlines is a waste of time and energy for people to depend on. They truly hurt an entire family that was already suffering from a tragic loss… They need to be shut down immediately!!     When I booked a flight with frontier on 7/29, I added a bundle for an extra $189 that included priority boarding, a checked bag, and seat selection. I chose my seats then. When I got to the airport on 8/3 I went to the kiosk, printed my bagtags, and asked the kiosk lady where I should check my bag. She looked at my app and said I chose self service so I check it at the gate. I said okay and pulled up my boarding pass on the app. I noticed that it marked me in a middle seat in the back of the plane that I did not choose. I go to the gate and the employee said that I was supposed to check it up front and that he had to charge me again to check it there. I told him that the lady at the kiosk said people who selected self service check at the gate. He said I must've been late. I was not late, I arrived 3 hours before my flight and was at the gate at 6:30AM.

    I asked him about my seat and he said that the plane was changed so I didn't get my seat choice. He said he wouldn't charge me for checking the bag at the gate but he didn't have the ability to issue refunds. He advised me to contact Frontier to get a refund for the bundle when I was home. I was moved to zone 2 for boarding and did not get to board priority. He printed me a new bag tag and told me to leave my luggage by the strollers when it was time to board. When I was boarding, another employee told me that it would be easier for "everyone" if I just carried it on because it would fit in the luggage compartment. So I had to haul it with me.

    When I got home, I used the customer service live chat option on the Frontier website. I told all of this to the Frontier chat resolution specialist Faith and she was incredibly rude and unhelpful. She accused me of being late, told me to go complain to an airport customer service desk, said that I was only complaining because I was home now, tried to convince me that I never paid for the bundle in the first place, and then refused to transfer me to a manager or refund me.

    We were kicked off our flight from Philadelphia at the Raleigh-Durham airport. This was after 4 time delays and a 2 1/2 hr mechanical problem delay in Philly. We finally got to R-D airport and after another couple hours sitting there, we were to get off the plane because Frontier Corp. cancelled the flight to Tampa. We were just told to go to the ticket desk. There, they had no seats left for the next day or day after flights. I finally found their refund request form buried in their Terms/Cond. page. After submitting it, their system said a "representative" would contact me within 24 hrs. Now, over 48 hrs. all I hear are the birds chirping outside. We rented a vehicle.. and drove home to Tampa.

    Do yourself a favor and fly with any other airline besides Frontier. Missed a flight because there was nobody to check bags at the counter. Sign said the counter closed 1 hour before flight departure and we were there 20 min prior to the 1 hour closure but NOBODY was at the counter. Tried paging and nobody showed up. Tried self-checking bags and the kiosk wouldn't accept the boarding passes. Tried customer service and you can't get a live agent unless you are an "Elite" member, and the AI bot chat they send you couldn't find our reservation from our confirmation number.

    If you try and request a live agent instead of doing the bot chat, their AI phone will just hang up on you. Cost me another 600 to book another flight with a different airline. Requested refund from Frontier and they refused. I am canceling my credit card and my rewards membership with them. Will never book another flight with this airline. Worst customer service I have ever received from anybody, not just an airline.

    This airline should close its doors. Me and my family of 25 are extremely dissatisfied with Frontier Airlines. Our recent flight was a catastrophic experience from beginning to end. We arrived at the airport a generous three hours before our scheduled departure. To our astonishment, we received a text message a mere seven minutes after arriving, informing us of a flight delay from 2:20 PM to 5:00 PM. When we reached the Frontier counter, we were promised a food voucher, but finding a Frontier representative was akin to searching for a needle in a haystack. After much searching, we finally located an employee who promised to assist us after boarding her flight to Denver. Needless to say, this promise was broken.

    Upon requesting a manager, we were met with rudeness and hostility. The manager adamantly claimed that vouchers were only provided for delays exceeding three hours, disregarding the ambiguity of whether that timeframe started from boarding time or departure time. Despite presenting Frontier's policy, which did not clarify this detail, the manager refused to budge. This airline charges for everything from selecting your seat, to check bags, carry-ons, priority boarding and boarding passes. Oh and if your luggage is over by 4 lb that's 75 additional dollars. Our group of 25 individuals is appalled by the lack of customer service and the blatant disregard for passenger welfare demonstrated by Frontier Airlines. We will NEVER choose this airline again and strongly advise others to do the same.

    My experience with Supervisor Sonya was incredibly poor and aggressive. Not only was there no one at the bag drop counter when I printed by checked bag receipt, I was unable to drop my bag and was required to bring my bag with me through TSA and I lost all of my toiletries. I arrived at the airport at 4:30 am. My flight boarded at 7:20. I stayed downstairs at bag drop until 6 am when I was able to print my bag ticket. I previously checked in the night before. Due to extensively long TSA lines, I was required to bring my bag with me and go through TSA. After having to relinquish all of my liquids at TSA, I arrived at the Frontier counter to ask “how to check my tagged bag” to only be confronted/affronted by “Supervisor “Sonya” who over talked me. Insisted I did not arrive to the bag drop counter in time even though I was at bag drop until 6 am where I was able to print my bag ticket and NO-ONE was still at the counter.

    Sonya insisted that her employees arrived at the bag drop at 6:05 am and I should have “stayed” and I would not have missed my flight in lieu of the extensively long TSA lines. Insisted that I was “not inconvenienced” and it was my choice to go through TSA and throw away my toiletries. Insisted that (12) other customers made it through TSA on time, however there was no proof that they also checked bags or only had carry-ons. Loud talked me and tried to go “back and forth” with me in front of customers and an employee. Attempted to charge me an extra fee even though I had a bag tag on my luggage.

    Continued to publicly/loudly “train” an employee at the counter with misinformation about my circumstances in an attempt to cause a scene. Continued to make a joke and remain dismissive and disrespectful after I left the counter while openly “training” the employee. Aside from the loss of toiletries and missing Frontier bag drop staff at the counter, I am incredibly disappointed at Frontier’s Leadership for being rude and disrespectful to its customers. Is this what customers have to endure to travel? A few walked in with bags as well!

    I ordered two round-trip tickets for two adults from San Francisco, California to Denver, Colorado shortly before we were going to leave. I discovered that I needed to get a child’s ticket for the return trip from Denver to San Francisco for my granddaughter.. to make matters worse they put her on the wrong flight. Again I had to wait 24 hours before my flight to get it corrected. They did correct it without charging me more but in the meantime, I got stuck with a $319 bill and the only reason why my granddaughter was supposed to fly back with me because it was only supposed to cost $49. If I did not do this my son which is her father would have flown back to San Francisco with her at a later date which in the long run would’ve been a lot cheaper. I tried to get a refund from Frontier, but they said, "Sorry. You should have reached out to us through social media," which at that time I was never given that option so I will never use Frontier ever again.

    Flights were purchased from Frontier Airlines on April 18, 2024 to travel from Phoenix on May 16, 2024, returning on May 19, 2024 to attend a family wedding in Ohio. My husband had a cardiac event that resulted in a triple bypass surgery on April 25, 2024. We cancelled our flights immediately following surgery and subsequently requested a credit voucher/refund on May 28, 2024. Frontier Airlines responded via email to our request and asked that we provide them with a letter from the cardiologist verifying the surgery and the inability to travel, also stating they would provide a credit voucher upon receipt.

    We complied with their request and sent the letter from the cardiologist. Upon receipt, Frontier Airlines refused to provide us with a refund or credit voucher. I sent another letter to several of the executives at Frontier asking for reconsideration to our request for a refund and included all of the documentation previously submitted. On July 18, 2024 I received yet another email from Frontier Airlines asking for a letter from the cardiologist. I again complied. Almost immediately after submitting the letter I received a second email stating "it didn't meet their criteria for valid documentation." Yet, Frontier Airlines fails to clearly identify what is acceptable documentation. We are retirees in our 70's and can't believe Frontier Airlines treats its customers like this.

    I would never fly with Frontier. I know they are a little cheaper than other airlines, however the issues I encountered on a recent flight makes the higher priced airlines so worth it. Our flight was delayed and we didn't receive notice until the original time arrived. The boarding gate was changed and of course there was no announcement or notice given. We almost missed our connecting flight if not for another passenger informing us that the gate was moved. Once in the plane, you have to pay for everything other water. The lavatories smelled like it had not been cleaned for months. The stench of urine was so strong, I almost threw up while using the restroom. Sad part is that it was the same situation on both flights that We took. It was so disgusting and this was at the very beginning of the flight. Never again Frontier will you get my money!

    Let me start with I am not a wizard and cannot snap my fingers and get from Allentown PA toTampa Florida in less then 24 hrs so as that said I had a flight to leave Philadephia airport at 632 pm on 7/13/24 to go to Tampa non stop to pick my wife up from spending time with grandkids so my flight was canceled due to bad weather I believe and all other flights were sold out until 7/15/24 and me and my wife's return flight was for 7/14/24 the very next day at 945 are close to that so I called my wife, told her flight was canceled and there's no way I can get to Tampa by tomorrow [this is my wife's 2nd time flying and would be her first alone and after we lost our son 3 years ago she has anxiety really bad that's why I was going down to come home with her].

I paid for my bag 24hrs before but had the option to check it or carry it on the and they wanted me to pay an additional $20 to make it a carry on. In addition my tickets were bought at the same time but they had us sit 10 rows apart. When asked to change our seats the agent and the supervisor stated the flight was oversold and nothing could be done but were asking for 2 volunteers to take an emergency row seat that was available.     We were asked to measure our personal bags, all of which fit in the sizer. We were still required to pay a $99 fee, even though we traveled on 2 separate Frontier planes to get to Arizona with the same exact bags without any issue until our return flight to Orlando. When we got on the plane, the attendant asked to see all our tickets because there were too many people on the plane. We were eventually seated and a few minutes later my husband was told the captain would to speak with the him. The attendant continue to go to the rest of our seats, which were scattered throughout the plane, asking the remaining 5 of us to make their way to the front. We were asked to get off and make our way back to the gate. I asked about a refund for the bag I just paid for 20 minutes prior. She offered to schedule us on the next flight or issue a full refund.

    I refused the reschedule as I will NEVER fly Frontier again after the way we were treated. When I asked why we were removed she said the captain was not comfortable and felt there would be an issue. My husband was never given a chance to even speak with the captain. We also requested that our checked bag be removed. After waiting 30 minutes for the plane to leave, we were told our bag would be in the carousel downstairs. Guess what, it was not. All the ticket counters were closed to speak about the bag and/or refund. I received a call in the morning asking if we were going to pick up our bag in Orlando so they obviously did not remove it. We were left stranded in Phoenix with no clothes/ toiletries and no real explanation as to why we were removed. The “supervisor” at the gate was very rude, unfriendly, not helpful in the least bit and refused to tell us her name and hid her badge from us when we asked.

    We have two connected flights with Frontier. First flight there was kind staff and plan was clean. Our flight was late taking off. The deals are not that great. There is no WiFi and no charging ports even in the most expensive seats. On the connection we had to completely leave the plan and board again. The new staff was horrible and rude.     We were trying to check from the hotel 24 hours before our Cancun-Chicago flight with no success. The app kept asking for an update which was not available on the same app then could not move forward with the check in. Once by the counter the lady said it was the airport WiFi which we were not using since our phone has our own Internet service. Then she said to ask a relative in Chicago to do the check in for us through the app which it was ridiculous. Then she asked for an error in order to check us in without a fee.

    The app never showed an error only to update and continue. We ended up paying $50 for check in and miraculously after that, the app worked and showed us our boarding pass. We weren't the only ones. A lot of people had this same issue and ended up paying checking in fee. I'm certain this glitch in the app was on purpose in order for Frontier to make additional money at our expense. I will never fly again with Frontier neither will recommend it to anyone.

    Flight 3195 from Houston to Dallas was delayed and flight 4322 from Dallas to Sacramento was also delayed for over an hour. They lost my check in baggage. I was so stressed from this experience that I got sick by next morning and had to see a doctor. My missing baggage claim was closed after 2 days. I had sentimental values in the bag given to me by my mother and children. Feels like I traveled to a third world country where they couldn’t trace my bag when technology is so advanced. They announced the same plane from Houston to Dallas was going to Sacramento. They didn’t have to transfer the bag to different plane and still my bag went missing without a trace. Perhaps inside job because during scanning the person surely knew what things were inside the bag.

    I’ll start by saying that I never say never until my travel on Frontier Airlines. Simple trip from Syracuse to Orlando. Original take off 6:55 pm. As soon as we arrived to airport, delayed to 7:40, then to 8:25. Then as our plane arrived, we could see it sitting on tarmac and another Frontier jet pulled into our gate, making our flight wait for 1-1/2 hours as the other plane unloaded, loaded and took off.     I booked with Frontier because they had the times I needed, I usually use Southwest. Well that came back and bit me in the butt. My flight to Portland was fine, my flight back turned into a nightmare. I flew from Portland to Phoenix and then found out that my flight that was to leave at 7:30 pm was cancelled. My options was to fly to Orlando at 11 pm that night and arrive at 6:30 the next morning. Well then that flight was delayed and we left at 1:00 am and arrived in Orlando at 7:30, then I could fly out of Orlando at 10:30 pm and get to Cincinnati at 2:00 am. I took the flight to Orlando and then got on Southwest to fly to Cincinnati at a reasonable time. I felt bad for the families that had small children with them. Then they sent me a meal voucher after the last flight left that expired in one day. The seats are horrible, you can’t even get water free, the staff on flight are not very professionall. It’s not worth the headache.

    My husband is not a picky person. If he can save some money, he will take the deal, knowing that you pay for what you get! That being said, for a man that never complains, he would rate this airline the WORST in the world hands down. Worst customer service and the plane were not well kept. Nothing was updated on the information board for gate changes until boarding time, which had passengers scrambling to get to the new gate to make it to boarding. They make their fare sound low just so they can gouge for carry-on that clearly fits in the carry-on box, but if anything that hangs or flaps out it's considered out of the dimensions and you are then charged $69. It's their way of making up for the lower fare tickets. Frontier Airlines charges $99 to check a carry-on bag at the departure gate. DO NOT FLY Frontier!

    The airport all airlines have so many rules. Arrive 2 hours early. We came almost 3. Waited for wheelchair. Never got one. I had surgery one week ago to have my breast removed because of cancer. My father passed. They held his body for two weeks so I could come. I ended up having to almost run to get to my flight. The TSA agents that are over 50 needs to retire. They are either tired or need more money. I normally would fly Delta but I said when I read the reviews I will see how bad and guess what they were so true. If they have a heartbeat they hired. SAD.

    Booked a flight that was supposed to return at 5:00 PM and made special arrangements for a pickup due to passenger being a non-driver teenager. Days before return flight they changed the flight time to four hours earlier which made pick up and drop off almost impossible.     They changed my flight from 10:40am to 6am same day! They didn't call or text and I verified we had correct info. They were rude when I tried to reschedule and there were no options. Had to pay for carry ons, the seats are very uncomfortable and I am no overweight. They of course had mechanical issues and we left later. All in all, never flying with them again! In my opinion when ya add up all the extras and take in the trashy vibe it's not worth any presumed savings. I didn't take many others word for it and learned the hard way. It's 2 stars 'cause we didn't die.

    Flew from Omaha to Denver on my way home to Las Vegas on Frontier Airlines. When I got to Denver, I was informed that my flight to Las Vegas had been canceled-no reason given. 3 hours later after waiting in line at customer service, they got me on a flight the next day. Frontier did not offer me a room or food voucher for my inconvenience. They expected me to sleep in the airport until my flight 16 hours later. I had to book my own hotel and get my own dinner….     This is the ABSOLUTE worst airline you could ever choose. Once your flight is booked, your monies are deducted immediately. They cancelled our flight one hour before boarding, of which we were going to a funeral. We didn’t purchase a bereavement flight, however; we couldn’t use the alternate flight option they offered in order to make the funeral. We were told that we needed to provide a death certificate and proof of relationship in order to receive a refund. Wait, what… we purchased a regular priced flight and still were charged additional money. We will NEVER buy another flight from this unorganized, useless, corrupt and greedy airline.     Our 7/4/24 flight was cancelled due to Hurricane Beryl, which I totally understand; but what I can't understand is the lack of customer service. Our flight was flat out cancelled, there was no option to rebook, no contact information for someone to assist us, nothing!!! Our refund offer was for 40% of what we paid for the round trip flight and I have to fight to get the baggage fees I paid in advance reimbursed. They hide behind their legal jargon and don't want to do what is right for their customers. Buyer Beware... You get what you pay for with this airline and nothing more. There is NO customer service so don't plan on talking to anyone if you have a problem.

    My family member took a flight from Barbados-San Juan Puerto Rico; however, the flight landed in DR, this morning. The pilot asked all passengers to pay $300; further added that he would need that money for the safety of the flight; passengers and crew. Then he told them to pay $300 if they wanted to get to their connecting flights. My family member was supposed to be flown from Barbados to Miami; with layover first in San Juan. This is very shady! Pilot said to pay $300 and they will leave tonight. Nobody knows where this plane is going next! I suspect blackmail/hostage/kidnapping=Terrorism!

    I recently had an incredibly frustrating experience with Frontier Airlines and their customer service. We were overcharged for our bags, and despite making the attendant aware, she said she couldn’t help and that we had to call customer service. To take our bag home, we had to pay an additional $104, even though we had already been charged $150 for the same bag due to an error made by staff at the Philadelphia airport.

    After calling and emailing customer service about being charged for two bags instead of one, and the overcharge, our refund was denied. They claimed their policy dictates so because we took the flight. Despite their representatives assuring us we would be refunded and to call once we landed, which we did after trying to call while waiting to board and not getting through prior to boarding, they stole with the overcharges $179 and refuse to refund it even though it was their mistake. Avoid Frontier Airlines at all costs if you want to avoid being overcharged and dealing with unhelpful customer service.

    I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience with Frontier Airlines on flight F9 3307. Despite booking and receiving confirmation of seat 25B, I was denied boarding due to overbooking. What was particularly disappointing was that the staff at Los Angeles airport were unable to provide clear answers or assistance. They seemed uninterested in my inconvenience and refused to assist me in resolving the situation.

    This incident severely disrupted my plans, including an important appointment in San Francisco for which I had made hotel reservations and planned activities. Frontier Airlines only offered a simple refund of the airfare, which falls far short of covering the inconvenience and additional costs I had to bear.     Frontier Airlines has now started this program called "Discount Den" and will automatically enroll you in this program and charge the last credit/debit card you used for $59.99, without authorization or permission. Additionally, you can not speak with a human being anymore about the charge. So, I have been on their chat system for approximately 30 minutes disputing the charge and cancelling my accounts with them. I will cancel the Mastercard I have with them shortly. What if I was someone going through hard financial times and the charge made me miss an important. Shame on Frontier.

    I would give them -5 Stars. They have no customer service contact to find out how to navigate their website. Their chat features are non-existent and the airport agents were late to work. On their website it says oversized baggage up to 51 lb to 75 lb is $100. Nowhere and I mean absolutely nowhere does it say in addition to the already $75 charge. I have screenshot every place that I looked for baggage fees nowhere says an additional $100. They may be cheaper airfare but you have no customer service, no baggage allowance and no drinks or snacks for flights over 3 hours. I would be surprised if they let you get out of your seat to pee.

    I booked RT tickets from BWI to DEN via Travelocity for my family of 5. In addition to Frontier rejigging our schedule twice after selling us the tickets, we had a crowning debacle occur on the flight home. Due to a bug in the app preventing one from Checking In on the way back (because the app records a RT as one continuous flight with a giant layover at your destination), we got into multiple delays that ultimately caused us to miss our flight, despite arriving early at the airport. Frontier offered to sell us 5 new tickets for $230 each. I declined and, rather than pay one more dollar to this company, I paid the same to Southwest for tickets home. After getting home, I filed a complaint. These guys then offered to enroll my 5 family members in their loyalty program and receive 5,000 points ($50) each. Nope. We will NEVER fly Frontier again after this experience.

    Frontier. It’s hard for me to add more truth to what’s been posted about Frontier Airlines. It’s labeled as an “ultra-low fare airlines.” Great, awesome. Everyone likes a deal. However, low fares do not HAVE to also equal low quality. For example, Chick-fil-A’s prices are comparable to other fast food restaurants, yet it feels somehow different than the competitors. Frontier utilizes most of the same planes, software and hardware as other airlines. Flying Frontier is uniquely worse than it should be. Why? For me, it’s their attitude. It begins with a distinctly “customer” service phone call focused on Frontier’s bottom line. No one is ever going to try and help you. They will offer you Frontier-focused options, usually at a cost.

    Next, they play “Jam Your Luggage In the Steel Box” at the gate. I’ve noticed bag size has nothing to do with who’s selected to pay. They only pick people that look like they can pay the $75 fee. It’s profiling. Gates agents have a financial incentive. They receive $10/bag charged at the gate. It’s in their PERSONAL self interest to make you pay to play.

    It has the worst on time rating of all major airlines. I’m convinced the Bag Game slows many, many departures. Once you take your seat, a flight attendant will walk the aisle telling people, “All personal electronics must be on silent. Why am I hearing all this noise?!” Full flights don’t guarantee working bathrooms. My flight had just one. (I expected it to be a pay toilet. I trust Frontier that the plan is already on someone’s desk awaiting approval.) Once you arrive, it’s not guaranteed your luggage will be there. If it is, you’ll wait and wait and wait for it to come out of the luggage carousel. Again, it’s puzzling because less people check bags than carry them on.

    No one working at Frontier smiles or volunteers to help. Ever. Employees look miserable. I firmly believe their poor reputation is well earned AND a direct reflection of management’s attitude. It’s obvious leadership does not care about customer experience. I seriously doubt upper management flies Frontier. Otherwise, they would have to willingly overlook such poor quality. It can be experienced in every flight, from every city that Frontier services. Frontier employees are unhappy and take it out on the customer. It’s consistent and persistent because NO ONE CARES ABOUT THE CUSTOMER. If, someone did care, they would do something about it.

    Ironically, Frontier feels that by putting an animal on the plane, people will somehow overlook their glaring deficiencies and have more fun. That’s an interesting approach that doesn’t work. I know this review won’t make a difference. It doesn’t even make me feel better to post it. Note to Frontier: Attitude is free. You don’t have to spend an additional penny on anything else to significantly improve your reputation. You just have to care. Sadly, it’s obvious, caring is just not part of the Frontier company culture.

    My round trip flight that I purchased months ago left the gate 20 minutes early. The website was not update of the early departure. Customer service has no direct contact number to speak with customer service. The airline refused to give me a refund. I had to pay $498 to get 3 new tickets after I had already spent $298 for a round trip ticket. The gate representative known as manager at the CVG for Frontier was nonchalant and not concerned with my complaint and all she said was I was suppose to be at the gate 2 to 3 hours before departure time. I received an email saying the flight time was canceled. I received two choices, accept a new flight or refund. The process sounds simple, but not. I looking for a new flight, The ONLY options were overnight night flights of 12 hours. It was VERY confusing. Without realizing, I picked one of these flights, therefore, my refund was gone…. However, the original flight was still listed when I went back into the Frontier website. The “Flight change” emailed on 6/29 was NOT AT ALL my original reservation (6/17). The 5/29 email now showed my reservation through FLORIDA!!!! On way to St. Louis. THERE IS NO WAY to get help to straighten this out. Fortunately, it was an amount of $57 instead of hundreds. WILL NEVER use again.

    We flew Frontier for the first and last time the flight was not bad, but the customer service was degrading. unprofessional, no communication, lack of knowledge. Once we arrived in Charlotte NC, or prior to getting there., the departure time was changed 4 times, why No one will ever know, the representative Pablo who scheduled our flight was professional, however we were not aware that a carry on bag would be 104 dollars a piece, a supervisor told us during the process of this entire nightmare that she would give us extra leg room as a courtesy, what a joke. There are so many hidden fees we finally got on the plane at 8pm June 27th, landed in Philadelphia at 9 30 for a funeral. We missed the receiving of friends etc. However nobody cared. I am begging anyone reading this do not EVER fly Frontier, just to say money it is NOT worth it in the long run. Thank God for covering us all.

    So I had a flight at 8 am and it was canceled around 1030 at the night before. I was so upset because the only other flight they had available was a one that I wouldn’t be able to take till the evening and get there at 2am. Which was so inconvenient for me because I had to be at my destination before 4pm. Then I asked them would they be able to add me to an early flight that some of my relatives were on. They told me it was fully booked. So I had no choice but to take the 6pm flight because the refund that they offered wasn’t gonna be enough for me and my daughter especially with the flights being high and all were all booked up. So when my relatives made it to their flight they called and told me that the plane was empty and there were many seats available. So at this point I will never fly Frontier again. This is terrible.     This is the worst airline I ever flown with. Me and my coworker got to the airport in Orlando very much on time. In fact several hours early. Got througH TSA fairly quick. Sat not too far from the gate only for them to unload the plane and not call the flight back to Cleveland so we missed our flight. We went to the ticket booth and had to pay another $250 on top of the $900 we already spent to get a much later flight. It’s not right we had to pay when they never called the flight. It literally takes almost an hour to unload the plane and fuel it back up and clean it. We went to the gate 10 minutes after the loading time said and the plane was gone. Not one announcement was made about said flight. We deserve a refund or a free round trip to a place of our choice. It’s not right.

    I have travelled many miles with many airlines and visited multiple Airports, however I now have met Frontier Airlines, and what a mistake it is. I planned a simple weekend vacation to Atlanta to return back home Fort Lauderdale on a Monday. So now we get to the Airport checked in and as we want to try to print out checked in bag label the machines do not work, we wait in line and meet a cranky staff not welcoming at all and a poor Customer Service Attitude to check us in and print the label for our bags to my luck their printer does not work, she starts to bang on the printer to work.

    A co-worker tells her to calm down but she does not. After a moment of her desperation it prints!!!. now we can go on and wait for the plain to begin boarding. nope there is no boarding ion time but a male counter person tells us to move to another gate we moved from Gate D 1-A to E-2, no reasons why bare in mind is 250 people moving from one gate to another. As we all arrive to the new gate and settled in for new plane another staff manber tells us that there will be a delay because there where some papers not signed early due to an inspection and it would take 1:30 Minutes to get them signed (What?). Well meantime the staff member tells us to get some snacks or food paper will get ready for us to leave.

    News. The flight has been cancelled. No reason. Why. It's now late. Almost 10pm. No way to leave or stay anywhere. Finally someone comes and tells us, "Let me schedule you for another flight but it will be tomorrow, and you will have to wait another 2 hours for head quarters to respond for any hotel accommodations." 12am no answer, we leave with a new flight early morning next day to a hotel on our own because we got no answer. (A staff member called us Impatient people.) Only if she would understand what this delay has created on the people paying for their salary. It's 1am next day and we get hotel accommodations for a 8am flght!!!.

    We take our new flight to Philadelphia with an overlay of 5 hours. Got lunch on own, and got ready for our new flight back home at 5pm to arrive 8:30pm. Right at check in we get an email that our new flight home has been delayed for another 3 hours. Now we leave at 8:30pm. Truly many words and confusion for all the flying customers, women with children stranded, elderly people sleeping in chairs, kids bored out of their minds asking mom, "When are we going home" and not to add more my wife and I fully frustrated with Frontier's poor customer care and poor communication to get their customers home safe and ON TIME!!!!. Poor job to this organization that really being cheap to them it really means treat your customers like you don't care and make a name for their own as Frontier the Airlines that do not care for anyone but themselves.

    Hello, I'm very angry, frustrated, annoyed, and disgusted in the treatment I received from the front desk agents and the staff. I was charged 100.00 dollars for a bag fee. The front desk agents were rude, inconsiderate, and insensitive. I was racially profiled. The agents had no empathy or sympathy for my situation. Frontiers' customer service agents were discriminatory and racist towards my family. My mother's memorial service was on June 22, 2024 and I was carrying her ashes. My son is on army activity duty and I am a navy veteran. We were treated like second-class citizens. I will never fly Frontier again. Frontier's customer service was horrible and awful. Our plane was delayed twice. I was blind-slighted, bullied, and embarrassed. My mother's ashes were in my hand the whole time. This experience was disgusting and distasteful.

    We missed our flight because nowhere on any of the communications or tickets with Frontier does it say that you have to be there an hour early or you miss your flight guaranteed. Our family arrived at the frontier check-in desk 55 minutes before the flight left and they would not let us proceed because they had closed check in 5 minutes prior. They refuse to let us proceed and our tickets would not be activated and so we were forced to pay an additional $800 and rebook for later in the day for a much worse flight.

    This happened to several people that we saw arrive after us. Frontier is extremely rude and unaccommodating and nowhere in their communications is to say you have to be there an hour before check-in or you won't be let on. It is fraud and I wouldn't be surprised if there was a class action lawsuit against them. When you arrive at the check-in desk, there is a cheap plastic sign saying that check-in time cuts off an hour before the flight, but nowhere else does it say that and that is unethical and they refuse to give refunds Even though is their own unethical behavior that leads to this affecting so many flyers.

    I chose to fly with Frontier because of the deal package I purchased from Priceline. All of my flights were delayed, and we ended up waiting in the airport for 9 hours due to the delay, causing us to miss our connecting flight. Additionally, they charge for carry-on baggage, making the overall cost almost the same as other airlines. In my opinion, I do not recommend flying with them at all. While they may seem like an inexpensive option upfront, when you factor in the cost of carry-on baggage and the time wasted due to delays, it's simply not worth it. I strongly advise staying away from Frontier.

    Flight experiences on F9 22 and 23, round trip from Phi to PUJ 6/21-6/24, was a nightmare from start to finish. I reviewed an email from the CEO on 5/17 citing clear, upfront pricing options and a better travel experience overall. Frontier fell quite short of this. The listlessness and apathy by PHI gate agents was awful. I was forced to pay up for my personal item backpack (historically used this way - never an issue) to a carry on price of $124, which is absurd and certainly didn’t match bag price checker site. I have spondylosis and my backpack has wheels which caused it to not fit in the curiously small baggage checker at the gate. My condition was dismissed by the gate agents. Attempting to leave PUJ was also pure chaos regardless of arriving 3 hours prior to take off.

    They couldn’t organize lines, make clear announcements, and proceeded to charge me over $200 for checked bags which I was sure I had already paid for both ways at check in for departure, and again does not match bag price checker site. After waiting in 4 different lines that kept devolving for almost 2 hours, this bag charge was about 4 minutes from the established boarding time so I did not have the time or patience to debate this. With such an amazing experience at our resort, to be sandwiched by this awful experience by Frontier, makes us almost regret the whole trip, but certainly wholeheartedly regret booking with frontier. I’m requesting reasonable refunds back to my original payment methods. I will not accept credits towards any future traveling with Frontier, as I cannot guarantee that my family or I will be returning customers. Your response to this experience could however sway that opinion. Looking forward to resolving this matter.

    Horrible customer service, extremely poor online experience. Definitely NOT user friendly!! No way possible to speak with a live human being. Online chat sends you to an app called Expert something or other and it is almost impossible to connect to it. Only way to receive a boarding pass is online. That's great if you have a connection but if you don't you are screwed. Then it will cost $25 to get a boarding pass at the counter at the airport and that is only when they actually have a representative present which is rare. I guess that it is the same old story.... You get what you pay for. How do they stay in business? Does the FAA or the Department of Transportation regulate this airline? If so.. how are they still operating?

My friend is currently stranded in Denver, she was supposed to arrive in Norfolk yesterday morning. They told her she has to wait until tomorrow at 11:59 pm to get on a flight to Norfolk, so now she's broke and stranded for 3 days without any compensation.

    Horrible Experience **** There was a change with the gate and the pilot was not informed. The pilot arrived several minutes after ALL passengers had already been seated. The passengers had to wait for the pilot and then all the safety procedures were performed. This delay in the heat (because the weather was over 100 degrees) caused the fuel to overheat and they canceled the flight. However, Frontier just used the “weather code” to protect themselves so that they have no liability issues and can use this argument in case of lawsuits. Unfortunately for them, there are several passengers who can testify that there were delays with the change of gate and pilot being late for departure because he was not informed of the gate changes (he even said that to all passengers).

    Frontier only offered us an option for refund (with nothing else and we would be on our own in the middle of the night) or a flight at 1am with connection to Denver, arriving in San Diego at 7am. They refused to provide any type of compensation, transportation, or hotel vouchers for us or anyone who wanted to get a flight the next day. The only thing provided was a food voucher for $15 per person. This was the worst experience we have had with an airline and we will never use them again. Even though they are claiming this issue was related to weather, no other plane had this problem. Will never use this airline again!!

    I generally do not complain. However, I’m stranded at DFW due to another cancelled flight and therefore have plenty of time. Frontier has cancelled the flight from DFW to MDW at least twice in the past four weeks. Both flights were canceled due to “maintenance issues”. Notably, both flights were not full. I suspect Frontier canceled both flights because it didn’t make sense financially to fly with planes that weren’t even half full. Regardless, the airline is not reliable. I think the FAA should carefully review Frontier’s Go Wild program. I suspect an investigation by Congress into the company’s internal policies would reveal numerous FAA violations.

    Julie, the manager on duty at Hartsfield International Airport on June 23rd at 6:30am was extremely unprofessional. As my family and I prepared to board Flight #925 to Punta Cana at 7:05am, Julie was highly inappropriate, nasty and unkind. Specifically, flight passengers sat nearly 45 minutes waiting to board the aircraft. At the last minute, Julie announced that all passengers were required to have their passports verified. When passengers lined up in the wrong line, Julie was rude and down right ugly as she gave directions to us. My family has never experienced such a horrible attitude and unprofessional behavior from an airline. This will be our last time flying with Frontier. I would rather not pay for a service, then, be completely disrespected and treated so poorly. Do better.

    Original scheduled nonstop flight (Myself & ADHD 8y old) from TPA -PHL canceled 1 day prior to departure (no explanation from Frontier). Used Frontier option to rebook and chose later departure but same day TPA-RDU-PHL. Although the new flight involved a layover I needed to get child to PHL this date. The TPA-RUD-PHL flight was delayed in excess of 3 hrs. There was no explanation from Frontier staff at airport but kept getting text messages (saved and available for inspection) riddled with misinformation as to the delayed departure from RUD. Frontier Airport staff left us completely uninformed in airport and everyone was complaining and irate.

    Had earlier in week (after flight) requested compensation for delay from Frontier and we’re offered (2) $100 vouchers which were accepted by me and promised to be emailed to us. Of course no email received. Called Frontier as I’m an elite member - only elite can call to speak to a actual Frontier employee, all others must chat. Unfortunately you get Philippines representatives that are ill trained, not understandable, and balk/resist at involving a supervisor. As stated, I was just inquiring as to vouchers- never got the promised email so I have nothing going forward.

    1st call 42 min and disconnected by Frontier while waiting for supervisor. 2nd call 25 min and disconnected again. Finally gave up but Americans should not be subject to this abhorrent and obscene lack of customer service. Just documenting failures of Frontier to provide any reasonable standard of customer service. Frankly Frontier should be fined.

    If I could give 0 or negative stars I would. First, we all understand, when booking Frontier airlines, we're not going to be getting top tier services. Reality is, we book them because they're cheaper and sometimes the only option for a direct flight. I will no longer consider them for flying, even if my only other option is to drive. Short story is, they canceled the flight from St. Maarten to Orlando due to "weather" in Orlando. Problem is, my wife is a Flight Attendant for another airline based in Orlando. She was flying that day, in and out of Orlando, and two of her turns were to the same general region. We had no weather issues in St. Maarten. The "Weather" tactic is something they use to get around being responsible for delays and cancelations.

    The next flight was two days later. They offered at full refund, BUT last-minute booking on other airlines was upwards of two times the amount of the refund, WHICH would have come in 30 days. No assistance was offered with finding accommodations for the two days. Two days later, what was scheduled for a 7-hour total trip with layover in San Juan, turned in 14 hours due to their operational issues. Moral of this nightmare? Fly anyone else, no matter the costs, extra connecting flights, whatever, just not Frontier Airlines.

    The absolute worst experience. They charged a hidden fee for carry ons... both ways! We bought the ticket then once we were in line they said we had to pay 99 each for the luggage. We had no choice... so added the cost to our round trip ticket price. Then they charged us again to get home with the same luggage! The flight leaving was an hour late.... so we missed the reason we flew instead of driving. Now to get home they switched the departure time from 7:50 to 11 pm with no communication! We downloaded the app to get notifications....yet, nothing. We chose seats together both times and they separated us.... and told us if we wanted to sit together that they would charge us extra!!!! This company has lawsuits against it... They need to be shut down!

    Please refrain from purchasing a ticket through this airline. Clear your mind of the cheap fare offered & realize you truly get what you pay for. Where can I start. Bully service attendants that “bark out” about if you don’t have a boarding pass I’m charging $25 per person. No compassion no personality.     Frontier Airlines was my champion. I downloaded their app, and attended meet-and-greets – I was their biggest cheerleader, defending them against naysayers. But on 6/13/24, that all changed. My Charlotte to Atlanta flight, with a confusing (but tolerable) Houston layover, seemed like a steal. I even splurged on the "bigger" seats in the front. Spoiler alert: they were just regular seats with a tacky sign blocking the middle spot. But hey, I got a great deal! I checked in on the app the night before. At the Charlotte airport, a slight delay – nothing major. Landing in Houston, I opened the app to find my connecting flight's gate. But... my 2nd boarding pass was not there! It was already a short layover and with the delay it was imperative I get to my next gate quickly.

    Panic rising, I made it to the gate and they were already boarding all zones. I raced to the gate agent, explained my app issue, and the connecting flight situation. The response? A curt dismissal. "You didn't check in. Go over there and wait and see if there's a seat." How is this possible? I just landed from a connected flight, one confirmation number But logic fell on deaf ears. Tears pricked my eyes as the agent, radiating rudeness, challenged me, "Show me your boarding pass then!" I was distraught – I was stuck, frustrated. After everyone else boarded, they called us (myself and another young lady waiting for a seat) back. But the nightmare wasn't over. Apparently, in Spanish (because she clearly thought I wouldn't understand), the rude agent declared, "Seen it all! Don't care if she cries, I’ve been here 14 years." Lovely.

    Then came the kicker: a $25 fee for "using agent assistance" to get checked in; Frontier's fees are legendary, but this was a new low. I made the flight (to my very uncomfortable, middle seat – passing right by someone in the seat I paid for). But Frontier lost more than a customer today. They lost an advocate. I work hard for my money, and I won't be paying to be disrespected and fly in discomfort. This experience wasn't just a delay or a bad seat. It was a masterclass in airline apathy. Frontier, you've grounded my loyalty. Oh, I almost forgot! As I finally made it home, I got a call from my Dad informing me that his flight and the flights of the 12 other people in our traveling party were canceled.

    This was by far the worst travel I have ever experienced in 50 years. Poor communication, lack of knowledge, failure to offer vouchers, failure to rebook cancelled flight and fraudulently charging $99 for a personal item. I had learned that the airplane that held 240 was replaced by one that accommodated 220. We were arbitrarily taken out of line with no explanation. The flight was canceled for 20 of us. The Gate attendants did not assist in booking new flights and 0 vouchers for hotels and food.

    I located a hotel & checked in the following morning after spending the entire night in the Terminal with 0 sleep. Calls and chat to Frontier were not successful. There was 0 Customer Service. The following night I secured a seat on a Frontier flight. I had a personal item (small backpack) that met all of the qualifications and standards. Yet, I was advised it was a carry-on and I was forced to pay (embezzled) $99 or I couldn't board the plane. They did this to every person that had a personal item.

    You get what you continue to pay for. Was the flights affordable yes! After adding baggage cost twice one way. We were over 17lbs and didn’t pay the difference. We paid a whole new price of $125. This is insane. Then you pay for carry-ons. Mind you we have to bring the same suitcase back with the same 17lbs so we may have to ship via postal to eliminate the overage on the weight. Never again.

    Purchased a ticket for my daughter and 1.5 yr old grand son, Flight F9 3393 SLC to SFO on June 8th. Besides having fees every step of the way, the flight attendant was very rude and have no empathy and courtesy at all. The seat beside my daughter was empty. She made our grandson take a seat and FA immediately reprimanded her. Asked if the baby is a lap child and said, “well if he is, then have him take a seat on your lap.” Seriously though? Will never fly Frontier again. Delta may be a bit pricier but they have far more better fee structures and customer service.

    I’d rank 0 stars if I could. Booked a round trip from Chicago to Houston. Flight was delayed three times in each direction with little info during updates or warning. They even switched gates after two delays forcing us to walk over a mile to the new gate. Getting in touch with anyone is impossible. The reps at the gate are nonexistent and not helpful. It is funny that they did not accept me as a documented disabled US Army veteran, but they do take any random person claiming as disabled because they pay more!!! Regardless of location, the gate representatives are mean, disrespectful, and just looking for excuses to charge passengers more. They can even communicate with passengers as usual. Airline intentionally separates passengers to charge for change of seat! In advance, this airline has no respect for active duty, and men or women in service only care about passengers, who they call “value passengers“ because they pay more.     If I could give this company a neg -100 to the infinity power I would!!! When you think a low price looks good, know this airline comes will a lot more cancelations than they appear to report. Henceforth, all the previous complaints before mine, by date. My flight was canceled without notice, I was made to pay $104 in baggage fees for a 20lb suitcase.     For all of you thinking about traveling with Frontier Airlines, please be aware they only have Chat Customer Support where I found today that not only how difficult is to try to solve a problem by text messages, but more importantly the reps are very disrespectful, they cut the chat twice on me not even before asking if anything else was needed, totally rude and lack of professionalism. I hope they don’t continue charging my Credit card for a membership that was cancelled twice two years in a row. Charging credit cards without customer authorization is an act of dishonesty.

    Frontier customer service is non existent so this is probably a waste of time. Flight was cancelled in the middle of night and was no time to reschedule. We ended up spending $550 more than planned. That was just flight expense. Everything snowballed from the delay. Frontier helped make my Mom's passing an even more devastating experience.     I typically don’t write reviews, and I’m a very low maintenance kind of person, let me be very clear, the flight was great, the plane was clean, it was a smooth ride, and the staff on the aircraft were great. Since I had a good 1st experience with Frontier I got another flight with them and it has been nothing but a nightmare. They decided to cancel my flight that was at 9am at 2am, I woke up at 6am to check for any delays and get ready to leave for the airport and I received a notification saying my flight was canceled without any reason listed.

    Trying to get in touch with customer service was nearly impossible and I have patience of a saint. Finally when I got someone on the phone they were not helpful at all with finding me another flight that day. I suggested different airports as well and nothing. Then they stated they would give a refund and hung up. The problem is I paid for my flight with a visa giftcard and had thrown it out due to using the remaining balance on this flight. I ended up having to buy a flight for $300 with another airline thinking I would have no issue getting a refund since this was out of my control.

    It has been 3 days of me going back and fourth via email with Frontier (since they don’t have people to answer the phone) to get this resolved and the outcome at this point is Frontier is telling me I bought from a third party and that I need to contact them. Problem is I never ever buy from third parties. I always buy from the airline and have proof of the statement from frontier. Long story short, if you're ok with flying with an airline who is unreliable and will cancel your flight and take your money go for it. I will never fly with them again, it’s just not worth it, and I’m not ok with someone stealing my money.

    With Frontier you get what you pay for. I recently flew with them for a graduation. I had a 4 hour layover and my bag and others didn't make it to destination. When I found an agent she was extremely rude and acted as though I was bothering her.     I inadvertently booked my flight from TPA to DTW vs. DTW to TPA. I tried to cancel with the 24 hours that is legally mandated. They have no phone support. I was on chat for ~90 minutes (mostly waiting for FA to join) then strung along for another 40 minutes before being abruptly told that my request had been forwarded to the back office for review and I would probably receive my refund in 7-10 days - no email confirmation. Never received the refund and no response to multiple email inquiries. Stay away!

    By far the worst airline should only be used in an emergency. Bait and switch pricing for bags and rude employees. Paid to select seats then 5 minutes before boarding they moved the seats to the back of the plane and would not refund the money we paid to select seats. Watched them charge an old lady $25 to print her ticket because she could get it to print on her own. Stay far away if you have other options.

    Where do I start. This airline is absolutely a rip off. Please do not book with Frontier Airlines. On May 28 2024 we were delayed and was given the run around from 1:08PM all the way up until around 10:00PM. They kept changing the departure gate numbers which caused us to walk around back and forth for hours in the airport hoping for a time to depart to go home to Chicago. There was no customer service available, no one to talk to that works for Frontier. NOTHING!! At about 10:30PM we were told that we will board the plane in about 15mins. At about 10:50PM there was an announcement saying that our flight to Chicago on Frontier was canceled. They canceled our flight without knowing what really took place with the aircraft. It took about an hour and a half to get our luggage from the plane.

    This is totally unacceptable. Now we are currently stuck at an airport and have to purchase other flight tickets. Frontier customer service ticket people are very rude and don't know how to talk to people. Frontier Airlines didn't have the proper crew members/workers. They didn't have a pilot on call to fly us home. This is scandal and a money scam. They are scammers. No one to call and talk to. No one to speak with. Just pitiful and ridiculous. You have to pay for everything. We paid for bags, etc. We want our refund and we will fight for it! We will never ride with Frontier Airlines even if it was free. ****PLEASE DO NOT BOOK WITH FRONTIER AIRLINES.**** They are terrible!!!

    Worse airline. Stay away. Where to start.... I was coming back to atlanta from cancun with my son. They send me a text that plane was delayed. But when I came to departure gate find out that plane took off on time. My teen son, 5 other passengers and I were picked 'cause they overboked the plane. The counter representative promised new flight tickets but until next day. Also transportation to a hotel, hotel night and a voucher for $250 per passenger. After we received the next day flight tickets. They escorted us after security and at the airport door they told us to leave. Without hotel reservations and transportation. Remember I was with a 12 year old. It took me 4 hours to find a hotel room without reservation at almost mid night. They put my teenager and my life in danger. Outside the resorts area cancun is not safe. Will not recommend this airline to anyone.

    EASILY the worst airline on earth. “Cheap flights” but they get you with a bunch of fees. They purposely sit your party all separated and don’t let you switch your seat on the app to something near them unless you pay another ridiculous fee for each seat. They charge you a ridiculous price for checking a bag or for even a carry on (never included not even the first bag). It cost an extra RIDICULOUS fee if your bag weighs over just 40 pounds. They make a huge deal and show in the airport for personal items and make you measure them and pay for them even though they clearly fit underneath your seat.

    Horrible boarding process, very disorganized and you can tell their workers hate their job. Flight was delayed close to 4 hours even though it was the first flight that morning. Both flights extremely overbooked and all they offer to change it is a voucher which doesn’t even cover 1/3 of the original price you payed. Wouldn’t even fly with them again for 5 bucks. Airplanes look like they’re from the 90s on the interior. Very uncomfortable, plain and with very few accommodations. Can’t even have a soda or a little snack without paying???. Feels like a big scam because at the end of the day you’re paying the same as you would for a much better airline or even more. Only positive is the flight attendants who try to do their best with the crap they have to work with. App sucks.

    Never using Frontier to fly anywhere anymore. Always delayed and very rude employees from the front desk to an online agent. Flying together. Can't even put you on seating together because they want to rip off your pocket for purchasing their seat. They can't even give you 1pound excess on your luggage after giving you back to back flight delayed over 5 hrs, stuck on the way to your destination and over 8 hours going back home because they want to rip you off and pay more for your luggage.     This airline is a freaking joke, and I will never ever fly with this RAGGEDY ** trifling airline again. Not only do you all not accommodate people, your staff are rude and stuck up and inconsiderate. My flight got delayed an hour. I was sitting at the gate for an hour and 15 minutes. Not I once did anyone call my name to do a last call or anything WHICH EVERY OTHER AIRLINE DOES (TAKE NOTES YOU MIGHT LEARN SOMETHING). I ended up missing my flight from Phoenix to Dallas. Ok cool. No problem. I was then rebooked for a later LONGER FLIGHT from Phoenix to Vegas OVERNIGHT.

    I asked several flight attendants and spoke with so many "so called supervisors" about flying standby on the next available flight, which was completely full according to your inconsiderate, stuck up, rude staff members. So I politely asked, "If no one shows up for the flight can I be on stand by," they said, "That's if no one shows up." Well lo and behold a party of 4 DID NOT SHOW UP and I asked if I can quickly be put on that flights instead of doing the 18 hour flight. I was told no and it's only for elite members and staff, so I was forced to fly to Vegas OVERNIGHT, had to get a room which was completely over priced due to it being a holiday with a minor child, instead of just being able to get on a straight through flight that had five NO SHOWS.

    NOT only that, the flight that I was supposed to get in the very next day at 7 WAS CANCELLED. I asked for the next available flight and was told is another CONNECTING FLIGHT which didn't leave until 8pm so I wouldn't make it to Dallas until after midnight. This is unexpectable and y'all need to be dealt with accordingly. I hope y'all go bankrupt because y'all are trash.

    May 24 2024 Flew from Phoenix, AZ to layover in Denver to destination Tampa, FL. Flight # 2142 had a delay of 1.5hrs which left numerous people not able to make their connecting flight on flight # 1114. This happened at midnight and it's now 3am and Frontier is not refunding anyone and they do not have another flight to Tampa, FL for 2 days! They are not providing hotel/food... Nothing.     I fly all over the US for work all the time and have avoided this airline but unfortunately with limited availability for what I needed I ended up having to fly with Frontier. Literally the WORST experience from start to finish. The charges for your bags is absolutely INSANE, the rate is so high and then if it’s over weight they charge you double.     This was my FIRST time flying Frontier and I brought along my father and daughter for a total of 3 tickets purchased from NYC to ATL. We did not purchase bags or carry on, as we had a 2 day trip and packed personal item bags. Two bags were 14x18x8 (purse and duffle), but different shapes, and the 3rd was very small. No issues getting onto flight from NYC with any of the bags. I planned on joining the rewards program, although the seats were very uncomfortable and offered poor leg room. I’m 5’10 and my dad is 6ft so we kind of suffered after the first hour. On the way home from ATL, the service tanked. While boarding the plane, there were about 7 people in front of me that got pulled over to place their bags in a bin to make sure it fit. None did. When it was my turn, I told her my bag was rectangular/duffle but met the size requirement and likely wouldn’t fit into the small bin COMFORTABLY, but she wasn’t hearing it.

    About 6 more people were pulled over after me. We all had to pay $99 for a carryon bag, which was ridiculous! Customer service was terrible with nasty attitudes and the crutch that they knew if you went off on them, your flight was in jeopardy, as well as potential arrest. No one pulled over had a bag bigger than a large backpack. I later found out the baggage monitor and ticket processor receives $10 an incentive for EACH bag bigger than the bin. Also, The flight was delayed so I had to reorder my scheduled Lyft. It’s predatory service and judging by other comments, I'm not the only one this happened too. They won't get my business or family's money again.

    This Airline is notorious for canceling their flights. My grandma passed away and my kids' flights were canceled, they had to drive to Florida. This was an awful experience for us and it’s not the first time. Management needs to re-evaluate customer service and experience and focus on doing better!

    Is there any way to give negative stars? I recently purchased 3 round trip tickets through a 3rd party site. Only after I made the purchase was I made aware of the ridiculous fees they charge. The tickets were inexpensive but the fees are outrageous and they charge a fee for EVERYTHING. You are "allowed" 1 personal bag but it is severely limited in size (14"x18"x8") about the size of a child's backpack, a laptop bag or purse. Anything larger you have to pay a fee for EVERY flight. My flights for 3 people add up to 12 flights which after adding one carry on per person totaled out to about $100 less than the actual tickets. All of a sudden it is twice the cost.

    Additionally they charge the "low" fee of $61 per checked bag per trip (round trip means paying $122 total per checked bag). We have 2 checked bags = $244 more! Keep in mind these are their discounted fees because we are pre paying and not at the counter. If you wait to pay at the counter, it will cost over $90 per bag per trip! All this and we still have to pay to select ANY seat. If we choose not to pay for the "privilege" of picking a seat we already bought they will "randomly" assign you a seat. Guess travelling together when flying Frontier is out of the question unless you are willing to take out a 2nd mortgage to pay all of these fees. Really sad how far customer service and satisfaction has fallen. I will recommend ANY other airline. Do NOT fall for their misrepresented lowest fares like I did.

    I just traveled from Jamaica to Baltimore with a layover in Atlanta. This is the worse airline I have ever dealt with. The customer service was horrible not to mention the robbery. My friends and I had paid to have our bags flown from Jamaica to Atlanta $90 and $100 for a carry on from Atlanta to Baltimore. When we asked for clarification we were met with a nasty tone and the option to fly with another airline, therefore that resulted in no explanation. Once on board a flight attendant (Channel) ordered another flight attendant (Emma) to Make me move because she wanted to accommodate a family.

    The flight attendant did not tell me to move in the manner that she was spoken to. That may have been the only decent customer service I received from this group but that ultimately resulted in a lie. Instead she asked me did I hear the woman. I told her I heard her. I paid for a ticket to fly just like everyone else. I will be asked not told. I asked the flight attendant, "Will she comp my carry on bag that I just paid for?" She said, "Yes." I told her I will comply and I moved.

    After the flight I went to the customer service desk where once again they were rude. The male agent told me that they can do whatever the want with their seats if the seat was free. I thought if I bought a plane ticket it came with a seat. Unfortunately for me that’s not the case when I traveled with Frontier Airlines. If you don’t have to use their service I urge you with sincerity to fly with someone else. You will truly be disappointed for sure.

    Frontier airlines Flight F9-7 - Horrible Experience. Worst airline experience ever. Departure from Dominican Republic 5/18/24 was horrible - multiple incidents before we could even take off - #1 - waited around forever as we were told that they had to wait for maintenance logs. #2 - right after that cleared then it was that the plane was “off balance.” The flight attendant (Michelle) was absolutely rude, getting on the speaker saying “they need 8 people from the front to move to the back or this plane isn’t going anywhere”. With a plane full of annoyed, tired, restless people this was not the attitude anyone wanted to hear from a flight attendant, I mean couldn’t they have figured this out at the same time we were waiting on maintenance logs? #3- Michelle says we can't leave until the plane is legal, I mean what does that even mean. #4 we had to pull the plane over on the tarmac to let someone out that was “sick”, sick how? She looked.

    I attempted to check in for my flight using the Frontier app within the required 24 hours. Since I was only traveling with a personal item, and the Frontier website, states that we are allowed to travel with a personal item, I attempted to check in without selecting any of the available baggage options, or bundled packages. Even though the app indicates that you can still check in without selecting any of the additional charges or upgrades, the app would not allow me to check-in.

    I attempted to contact customer support, but the only method available was via a chat. The link to the chat did not work, so I’ve went to The Frontier Airlines website. There’s an option to call, but it only works if the system recognizes your confirmation code. Unfortunately, the system never Recognized my confirmation code even though I was well within the 24-hour period.

    The counter agent was unable to assist with my issue. Be warned! The quoted price is not the actual price because they will force you to pay for additional services. Had I booked with Delta, my ticket would’ve been $30 less. The original cost of my ticket was $48. The cost of the carry-on bag was $70, which is more than the actual flight. Had Frontier Airlines been upfront about these charges at the time of booking, it wouldn’t have been so bothersome. But to hide the charges until the point of check-in is deceptive at best. I will never fly Frontier Airlines ever again, and will recommend to everyone to choose another airline.

    Frontier is the worst airline I’ve ever flown. In September, I was maid of honor in my best friend’s wedding, her ceremony was on a Friday evening. I couldn’t fly out Thursday due to some important doctor appointments. I was a little leery of flying Frontier but was the only direct flight to Vegas and got me there at the time I needed to be there. Frontier first delayed my flight and then cancelled my flight. I then had to pay $820 for a United one way flight in order to make the ceremony in time but missed the dinner, pictures and limo. I was unable to talk to a live Frontier agent, only a chat and only got reimbursed the cost of the one way Frontier flight less fees.

    Today we flew back Frontier from Orlando for family trip. We paid $150 to check one bag. Our stroller was free but sent to Puerto Rico so we now have no stroller for our son. Also, when we got to the counter to check our bags, almost all customers were upset and arguing with the agents. I don’t do this because I know it’s not their fault but I can definitely understand the customer’s frustrations with Frontier Airlines! The police even had to come over.

    I just flew with Frontier… THE MOST UNETHICAL CUSTOMER SERVICE! Do not fly with this airline. They told me they do not accommodate children on the flights… My daughter is 4 years old, they would not allow my daughter to sit with me even after I paid for my seat. I tried to have the attendant move my seat because I was at an exit row, so I could sit with my daughter and he tells me I will have to pay more money, as in, I have to repay for 2 seats to sit next to my daughter.. so here I am on the plane, I’m in an exit row, I told the ticket counter attendant I need to sit with my daughter, but he repeated, to me we don’t accommodate children.

    My daughter and I board the plane, we are not in an exit row, two girls switch their seats so I could sit with my daughter, and then he proceeds to get on the plane, goes to my seat and starts telling me next time he won’t let me fly if I book my seat on an exit row again. He was raising his voice, being completely unethical. I told him, "I tried to move my seat but you wouldn’t accommodate me and my daughter." He says, "Oh yeah. I remember you now." But did nothing… then after my flight I went to the customer service counter, and the lady insults me, then she says she will comp my seats but never did, and I still paid for the seats I didn’t get to sit in…. Unbelievable… Horrible customer service! Horrible! The ticketing agents are so unethical! NEVER FLY WITH FRONTIER!

    If I could I would give ZERO stars… trust me, I would’ve! First flight from Dallas to Denver on 05/12/24. Flight was delayed over 1 hour because airplane bathrooms weren’t clean. That’s correct, after they open the gate and started checking people in there realized airplane was dirty, bathrooms wasn’t clean. So they stopped everyone at the airplane door, literally at the door, to clear the airplane. We were there at the hallway to get in the plane for over one hour. When we got to Denver, the second flight was also late. They switched gate 3 times, mind you, all the switches were done over the speaker in front of the gate. They never updated the changes on the app nor on the ticket in the apple wallet. They are extremely disorganized and rude. Employees were frustrated probably because they don’t know what’s going one either. Absolutely horrible! Please safe yourself a big headache and don’t go for the “good deal” ticket. It’s not worth it!

    We have had 2 trips canceled by Frontier in 6 months on the same day that the vacation was supposed to take place. First, was in September. We were going to San Diego for our son's college football game. We were traveling from Cleveland to San Diego with a connecting flight in Denver. Our son was expecting us. We told him we would see him at the hotel before he left for the game. We also made hotel reservations, which we lost the money for. This was not cheap. It was a no refund after purchase.

    The day of the flight, on the way to the airport, we received a text that our connecting flight from Denver to California was canceled. We were unable to get in touch with anyone and because our flight wasn't canceled out of Cleveland, no refund would be issued. That means we could go to Denver. I'm not sure what we were going to do in Denver but we could go there. I guess be stuck there indefinitely because our flight home didn't have a connecting flight in Denver. We lost our money for the flight and we also lost our move for the hotel. We also didn't get to see our son play his football game.

    Next trip planned in April. My brother is having his first baby. We have our tickets for 3 weeks after the baby is born. We are leaving on the 20th. All packed. Have a dog sitter at the house. We are getting picked up by a friend to get dropped off at the airport. Our flight from Cleveland to Dallas Fort Worth is canceled. This is 3 hours before our flight. No one to contact other than a chat that gets you nowhere. I've discovered from the last nightmare that nobody is going to help us or give us an explanation. I cried for a while.

    I called my brother and forwarded him the text from frontier so he knew that we weren't coming and we didn't need picked up. My entire family lives there, 3 brothers, 1 sister, my parents, nieces, nephews. I also coordinated the trip to see my sister and kids that would be in at the same time to see our new niece. So, don't do it. The worst ever experience. CANCELED BOTH TIMES. NO EXPLANATION. SAME DAY WITHIN HOURS OF TAKEOFF. We did get a refund for the 2nd canceled trip. Regardless, horrible airline, horrible service, well, NO SERVICE, is more like it.

    I had a trip from Denver to Indianapolis, flying Frontier. The day before departure I became ill and tested positive for covid. Frontier told me to pound sand (no credit, nothing), and I had to eat the ticket. This is what you get for doing the right thing by not exposing passengers and crew to the virus. I have a Frontier Mileage account as well as a Frontier credit card. I will NEVER fly Frontier again.

    My daughter’s grandpa was passing away and we quickly booked a flight to get her back to say her goodbyes. She brought a backpack that is it. Upon boarding the attendants hassled her she had to pay for it even though it fit under the seat and was her only personal item. We zelled her money and paid for it. Coming back we were prepared to pay again but the attendants said No it is a personal item that fits. Upon getting home we disputed the first charge with her bank to have Frontier decline dispute and charge her again!! Frontier your practices are horrible and not worth the affordable flights you claim to offer and in the end completely misleading with the tacked on fees! We will never, ever use you again!

    Felt like a complete shakedown when I walked through. Not only this - I had some real fake nice dude come up to me first and get really passive-aggressive at me when I said I didn't have the app. There was no line - there were about 10 people hovering over the desk. All of them looked at me once or twice but did not help me. They sent this little smirking jackwagon to help me.

    So he basically scolds me for not having the app, and then says I have to pay $25 extra to get checked in here, despite the fact that I've already checked in online and printed my boarding pass. He did not know this. He didn't even bother to check. In addition to this - that same gaggle of folks hovering over the desk -somehow beat me to the other side, and were watching me the ENTIRE time, waiting for me to download that stupid app.

    Then once I finally looked at my phone, they opened up the lines. But they didn't even tell people where to go. I was standing in line for groups 3-5 for like 10 minutes before I had to read the room and see actually it was already my time to go. No one at the desk or the line indicated this to me, they were just herding us all like cattle. They were so eager to take my bags from me too. Like I don't already know that all of my other contracting buddies get their stuff robbed from inside cases constantly.

    I know their game. I would not trust a group of folks hanging around a Frontier Airlines desk - especially if they look bored. I think I looked like an easy target because I don't fly very often. These people know how to pick marks, and steal your stuff - and hassle you the entire ride. Because I only booked one way, they made it seem like I was always in the wrong place at the wrong time.

    I never was. I just had all of these self-aggrandizingjackwagons standing in front of me telling me to do it their way. I know they probably feel powerful, getting to basically rifle through everyone's stuff at their whim. I had all carry-ons because I did not want to get separated from my stuff. When I got off the plane (which was only an hour and a half), I found out I was actually at the right gate, I just had to be there 5 hours from now, which no one told me - because the secret sauce of a one way flight is - they will forget who you are the moment you walk through the gate.

    Hold onto your stuff on this plane. I think most of the people working the conveyor work together to take valuable stuff. The worst part is - there was a crying kid on the plane, which the father took right outside the plane, and hit as hard as he could at least 3 times before finally bringing the kid back on the plane. The slaps were so loud that nearly everyone in the front of the plane could hear it. I literally shuttered every time I heard that kid scream. And not a single person on the plane did a thing about it.

    Terrible experience at DFW and Orlando. Flight was delayed and caused us to miss our connecting flight. I was told my luggage would be moved to the connecting flight we were switching too. Instead our luggage was lost for 4 days. Terrible customer in Orlando airport could not catch a flight back to home until the next day. I was told I could sleep in airport with nothing offered for a refund!!!

    My complaint is in regards to my customer experience with the front desk associate at the Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas. Our flight was originally scheduled for 1059AM and arrived at the airport at 930AM to give ample time to be able to check in our luggage. We got to the counter and realized that we were over by 3lbs to meet the 40lb requirement. The desk associate advised us to take some things out to meet the required weight requirement and so we did however instead of checking us back in to complete our check in task, the associate made us go back all the way into the back of the line which caused us to miss the 1hr policy to check in our bag prior to our flight scheduled time which in turn led to our flight being rebooked for 855PM to a different arrival airport (Ontario INTL).

    And then, that newly rebooked flight was delayed twice. One delay at 1044 PM and another delay for 1132 PM. And finally, the desk representative charged us a higher price for our checked in bag and couldn't honor the online checked bag price and never gave any remorse about our situation and didn't offer any solution at all. I had a wedding that I need to attend to for the 6th of May and completely missed the wedding. The worst airline experience I've ever had in my entire flying history.

    We will never fly Frontier again. Horribly uncomfortable seats. So many extra charges it really doesn't matter if flight price is cheaper. Just ridiculous. Their app mysteriously doesn't work to check in so how convenient you HAVE to check in with an attendant and are charged $25 for that service. $100 upcharge for baggage being 5 lbs overweight. Charged to choose seats so you can sit by your traveling partner...the list goes on. Prices for drinks and snacks on the plane are insane prices! I believe end cost to and from Cancun was almost $1,900.

    I received an email the night before my flight stating that it is time to check in. The email prompted for the Frontier app download; however, the app is defective. A person cannot simply go in and check into the flight. Instead the app constantly asks for the person to purchase a bundle of products and if you try to decline the bundle the system will not allow you to proceed to the next page. In an attempt to check in a bag the system processed another fee. Due to the failure of the app working properly, a person has no other choice but to go to the check-in counter at the Philadelphia airport for assistance.

    Once a person walks up to the desk they are automatically charged a $27.00 fee for just talking to a representative. Not only was the representative incapable of assisting, she asked for her supervisor to come over. The supervisor had already gone off on three passengers prior. She spoke about Travelocity being a 3rd party and although I had already paid them in full for my flight I now have to provide another full payment to Frontier for the flight. She was unprofessional and condescending.

    The manager refused to give her name to the three passengers prior to me and she also refused to tell me her name. She then told the representative assisting me to “CHARGE HER UP.” I then was told I had to pay another fee and they charged my card. When I confronted Frontier about his they refused to provide any refunds. This is by far the worst airline and staff in our country. No respect at all and not the way that people should treat other people, let alone the consumer.

    I booked with Frontier Airlines (FA) for the very first time. I didn't read any reviews before hand which was my mistake. I selected FA because it had a direct flight and I liked the flight times. I happily paid extra for legroom, baggage, priority boarding. Afterward I was kind of shocked that my cheap flight because rather pricey compared to regular airlines prices but, whatever, it was for a vacation.

    The first hiccup was my morning arriving flight got changed to a late afternoon arriving flight. I wasn't thrilled about the flight change but I decided to keep the flight. Then I got an email about another time change. My late afternoon flight would now be a very very late arriving flight...like two minutes before the next day. So my short vacation got even shorter.

    I decided that wasn't acceptable and tried to cancel the flight. I thought it was canceled but then I got several conflicting emails about my flights. Plus, I had rented a car and that also wasn't clear if the car was canceled when I canceled my flight. I decided to contact Frontier only to find out they do not have a customer service phone number so everything is done over a chat bot. Unfortunately, it's like finding the magic combination to get an actual person. Not to mention the wait time is exceptionally long. I ended up booking with a regular airline, the ticket was cheaper, the car rental was cheaper, and I will definitely never book with Frontier Airlines again.

    They changed our flight 5 times, 4 times after we went to bed and made new plans to get to the airport for the first changed time. As a result of these multiple changes we missed our flight and they will not refund our money. We missed a one time, very important event as a result.     I literally tried to book for over 4 hours. I spent over an hour and a half, twice, just waiting on someone to respond. I had a flight booked for three adults and one infant going from Raleigh, NC to Orlando, FL on May 15, to see my mom who is dying, returning May 18, for $38 per adult ticket for a grand total of $114. I entered all of our names, TSA precheck and other information and when I submitted it, I got a response from Frontier that said, "Utterly sorry, WE are experiencing technical difficulties, please try again. YOUR LOW FARES WILL STILL BE HERE."

    When I tried again, the tickets were $141 a ticket, a $309 increase. I did the chat thing again (same hour and a half) and it was obvious they just read from a screen and all they would say is their prices are not fixed and once they go up they cannot revert back to the previous price. I tried to explain I did not leave the website, the website left me. My next step was payment when the website had an error. I should not be punished because their website had an error. They could care less. Just kept telling me the prices went up. Customer service is HORRIBLE.

    The flight was not bad, there were a few things that I ran into, but mainly a check bag in Atlanta that never arrived on my 12-day vacation in Arizona. This was bad, but Frontier's handling of my bag claim made it even worst. They refused to reimburse me for any clothes that I had to purchase while on vacation, which I believe is a violation of the DOT rules. After filing my claim for at 900 dollars, which include a 600.00 metal detector (receipt was provided) and 12 days' worth of clothes, and an additional cost of at 157.00 for clothes (receipt was provided) I bought in Arizona, Frontier paid me $69.56. My advice is never to check a bag with them. If you do you better have receipts for everything you check in the event that your bag does not arrive. No receipt no reimbursement, and even if you have a receipt for items you had to buy, they apparently do not honor that either. To date bag has not been found.

    Worst experience of my life today. Flight was 2:28 PM. I got there at 1 PM. Try to check in could not check and nobody would help. They were rude. Ruthless. Treated me like garbage. I was crying so much. Pregnant. Started to bleed and all they could say is, "Oh you just book another ticket, we can’t help you." There’s no one to speak to live supervisor that’s supposed to be there so they couldn’t help. It was a horrific experience. I’m just not getting home. My eyes are swollen and had the worst. Worst day ever had to book with another airline with more money, stay away from these people from this airline only if you want to be treated like garbage, you should book with them.

    I wish I could give this airline zero stars. There was some confusion on the boarding pass on my phone this morning, April 29th, when I flew out of Cleveland. Instead of being helpful the security line agent was AWFUL to me. She was mean, hateful, condescending and just down right terrible. She acted worse than a bratty toddler. I truly tried to de-escalate the issue but wanted to cry. She has to have a terrible personal life to be that rotten to a stranger, especially one that was trying to just manage the situation the best I could. I’d really steer clear of this airline unless you want to be treated like absolute garbage.

    Flight cancelled, said they would send me a hotel voucher. They had the wrong contact info so I supplied the correct info. Never received voucher, wrong contact was still in their system. Ticket person told me to contact online services. Online services said to contact desk person. They will not refund me for my hotel stay I paid out of pocket. No customer service! All automated. This is a joke, and Frontier are thieves.

    This is by far a airline you should pass on, I flew out of DFW on April 26th and back on April 28th out of Cleveland. Both airports' customer service was terrible, Not only are they rude but uninformed as well, this airline changes gates and do not feel the need to informed their customers, no need to mention the fees and your carry on because they will do everything possible to make you pay the 99.00 fee, please stick with the reputable airlines. You will save yourself more in the long run.

    Absolutely the worst airline I have ever flown with. 3 out of my 4 flights got delayed, 1 of them over 4 hours. It was my first time flying with them and I was very open minded at first. Staff of super rude and unprofessional, flight attendants were pretty good but that’s about it. There a bunch of fees that they don’t tell you about and they don’t have a customer service, just some “chat” that’s horrible. Save yourself a headache and chose another airline.

    This is the worst Airline ever. They charge you for for everything. From Atl to Miami I was charge $69 for checking in for my checked bag online, then an addition $125 at the Airport for 10 extra pounds. Then another $75 on my way back. A Total of $ 269 for just 1 bag. This is Ridiculous ❌❌❌. The Seats are small and uncomfortable.

    This was the worst flight I have ever had, very unprofessional staff, even for a budget airline. I’d rather pay the cost and fly with a better airline because you will spend more with Frontier anyway after all the fees. Staff need better customer service instead of acting like bottom of the barrel especially the Atlanta gate staff. I’d prefer to ride a turtle to my destination before ever considering them again.

    I'm out to dinner during a family vacation in Orlando writing this review. The customer service with Frontier is that bad. I went to check in for our returning flight to NY tomorrow only to realize my husband is not on the itinerary anymore. My credit card was charged for the full itinerary. I have been on hold with customer service for an hour and still all I get is a bot asking me if I'm “still there” every so often. I would be willing to pay hundreds more to avoid this absolute nightmare. NEVER AGAIN.

    Should of known that cheap tickets come with consequences and 99% mishaps. Never fly Frontier. When I bought tickets, one of the stops was an overnight layover of 19 hours, which cost me another $150 aside from buying plane tickets, it was the only offer. Then when catching my next flight after the overnight layover, they cancel my flight and told me the next flight wasn't till the next evening. Then my wife asked if they're paying for hotel room for the inconvenience and they had the audacity to say, since the mishap was out of their control that frontier is not responsible to pay for hotel. The wife and I were livid, we decided to buy new tickets to fly home with United and get refund from frontier, which they're still investigating after a week and I'm still waiting.
