    I'm very disappointed with my first experience and was very surprised. Never would've thought me making a selection, and turn around my selection was gone once I completed my booking.     This is such a scam. I called them and told them I had an emergency and couldn't fly. They said I would have to pay a cancellation fee but will still get to keep my flight credit for a year. Now they saying I will lose an additional $200 to use the flight credit. They had me email dearjetblue@jetblue.com after I had already told them that JetBlue said they can't help me because I booked through a third party. They keep insisting JetBlue has to waive the fees. I was told I could speak to someone in the flight department at Book It but would just be told the same thing.

    I asked all of these questions BEFORE I cancelled. It would have been easier just to pay $200 to change the date but now I will be out of $560 because the remaining credit after the fees won't be enough for me to book a new flight. This whole experience has been a nightmare. Who has $500 to waste on what was supposed to be a relaxing getaway. I got robbed and there's nothing I can do about it.

    As I hit the final button to book it sent me an error message and said I had to call the listed number for assistance. I called immediately and the rep said she could just do the booking over the phone, that's fine until all of the sudden the prices on the room and airfare had gone up, was very upset, felt scammed actually. Would not honor the prices listed on the web page I was booking from.

    First let me say, I ended up having an amazing vacation with my daughter at Royalton Riviera Cancun. But the booking was a disaster. I originally booked at a different resort for 3 people. The 3rd person dropped out, so I called to change my reservation. In the process of trying to cancel part of reservation, the Bookit customer service rep, downgraded my room and changed me to a completely different resort WITHOUT my PERMISSION. When I caught the mistake, I called immediately to rectify it. They tried to say I asked for the change. I DID NOT.

    Once they listened to tape, they admitted the mistake was on their end. The original resort or room type was no longer available. I was livid. I was offered a $200 voucher to accept the new resort that I did not want. I I declined so I could get a room/resort comparable to one I originally booked. I basically had to argue for a week and talk to upper management to come to a solution. This was all in the week prior to my travel. I was not given anything to make up for all the trouble it put me through. Once they realized it was their mistake, I believe they should have went out of their way to make things right, but they were hesitant and still wanted to cover their own butt. The resort was great once I got there, but the booking was a disaster. Makes me VERY hesitant about using site in future.

    A little upset called before my husband and I booked was assured transfer was included, from and to airport upon arrival and upon leaving, then after we booked we forgot to ask where we would get this brochure or would this be sent in email and called back to be told this was not included, we travel two to three times a year out of country and never have had a problem with transfer, I'm very upset now we gave to call resort to find out what we can do will not arrive without this already arranged, I feel you need to educate your staff.     Overall, great experience so far. We called in about some questions I had about my booking. Noticed there were some significant hidden hotel fees that we would have been expected to pay to the hotel once we arrived. Called and the representative clarified so that we had a full understanding of all fees. So glad he did because we didn't want to be hit with any unexpected fees once we arrived. I will say all fees should be in a space that is clearly visible when booking online. I just so happened to see a link that was referenced and it wasn't until I clicked on the link and really dug deep that I noticed the additional fees. Not sure why these additional fees are not charged upfront so as to avoid customer shock once they arrive. However, overall, great service. We have used BookIt before and have been satisfied.

    I called this company to cancel my vacation, minus the being on hold for 30 minutes before being able to speak to anyone. They told me they could cancel it and the money would go back to the card that it was taken from. I explained to them how that bank account has been closed and I no longer have the card on file. I asked if they could refund it to the new card I posted under the payment options, they told me no there is no other option then refunded it to that bank account. When I tried to re-explain the situation and how the bank account is closed and I will not be able to get the money they told me they cannot help me and that the bank will have to send me a check. When I contacted my bank they informed me that this is impossible and BookIt cannot send the money to a closed account. So basically BookIt is keeping my money for my vacation and I am never seeing that money. The customer service is absolutely awful and unhelpful.

    Booked our spring break trip through BookIt, and had a great experience. We booked at Royal Solaris for 7 nights and flights included, and we got a great deal. We did the payment delay option, which was very helpful. Once we paid our second payment, we got our flight confirmation number, so I immediately got on United to make sure it was legit and choose our seats. We called BookIt about three different times to ask for clarification on what our hotel included, transportation, hotel confirmation number, and more and they were helpful every time.

    When we got about three weeks out from our trip our itinerary disappeared from our profile on BookIt, so we called to make sure everything was still good-to-go. He gave us our confirmation numbers again and we called the hotel and airline and everything was still good. We had no issues with our flights, seats, or checking in at our hotel. We will definitely be using BookIt for all of our big vacations in the future.

    Original Review: Misadvertisement. Did not communicate to us. This resort is home of student city. Spring break. Hundreds of kids. They knew it and did not advertise. Do not use them as they refuse to acknowledge what they do is wrong.

    Recently made a reservation online to PVR, Mexico with www.BookIt.com. Their website is full of pop up adds. Makes it hard to read reviews, and see the hotel you have selected, after selection of hotel and all inclusive resort, the pop up adds stated 1 room left at this price I booked the travel, saw the reviews were horrible and a warning not to go to this specific hotel, I called the bookit.com reservation agent asked to speak to a supervisor to change my request and to transfer the money on the first reservation to the second at no cancellation charge, this was what I was told by the supervisor.

    Later found out www.bookit.com charges to speak to a agent and change anything, even the fine print is up to one's interpretation of what it means, so I asked before changes were made. Several days later I saw the additional fees for cancel the first trip and fees added to place the second trip. I have used www.bookit.com before with a practice of adding insurance fees without permission, but was reversed after calling my cc. Im very disappointed in how this was handled and will likely not use this service again. Buyer Beware of using this service, best to use a local travel agent and not a online service that operates in Florida.

    I don't like prices in American Dollars. I am in Canada dealing with Canadian Dollars and I would like all my monetary transactions in my currency. I didn't like the limited choices for flights and what was included in your offer was unacceptable like an overnight flight from Edmonton to Cancun lasting about 20 hours. For some other more reasonable offers you charge a lot of extra money, which made your initial offer quite unattractive. I don't like those tactics. The initial offer is good but when you add the extra cost for the flight is not good, that is for me, a customer.

    I was a little confused with the promo at the top of the page stating that if I booked the pay delay I would get $200 extra off, total was 1659.40. I selected pay delay but it took made the full amount, so I called customer service to have someone change me to the pay delay thinking I would get $200 extra off like the promo said, but when I spoke to the rep, he told me that paying the full price or the pay delay was the same price... So now I'm confused. I feel like the promo on the page makes it feel like a lie, rep said paying in full and the pay delay already had the $200 off, so it makes no sense you guys putting that message on the page saying book it by midnight $99 down get an extra $200 off, makes no sense being charged the full amount if I paid in full, felt lied to sorry. Smh. Felt like false advertisement.

    The issue I have is there are four adults going and we were unable to take advantage of the six pay plan as advertised, we were unable to split the payment on two cards with a a six pay option forcing my sister and I to foot the bill for all of it when we were splitting the trip down the middle. This is poor customer service and believe me I split payments every day at my job which is high customer service. I am unhappy with this option, which left is with the $7800 on our personal credit card and I unable to split that bill. With today’s technology you need to update and get with the program and make things more accommodating when more than one couple is going on a trip together and want to make sure that they are in the same area of the hotel and flights!

    So, I went on Bookit.com to purchase an all inclusive trip to Mexico. I know very little about Mexico so I trusted this website. I went on Bookit.com and looked for a package deal. Here is what happened. The package that was offered had me going to a hotel in Playa del Carmen but my flight is going into Cozumel. But the kicker is the site then offers me ground transportation from Cancun to Playa Del Carmen when I am not going to Cancun but I am going to Cozumel.

    I am totally unaware of the distances between the hotel and the airport. Further unaware that my ground transportation will be taking me roundtrip from an airport that I am neither arriving in or departing from. I only discover this upon receipt of an email from Bookit quality control department - why would the email me, if they didn't see a problem with the package they sold me. But no one apologized for my inconvenience but tried to sell me a flight to Cancun for an additional $469.00. Then they tell me that they me be able to get me a refund on the ground transportation even though they packaged the whole deal for me and sold me ground transportation that has no bearing on my trip whatsoever.

    Finally, in a last ditch attempt to avoid taking responsibility I am informed that I probably was doing multiple searches at one time and "this can happen then" (what)!!! I wasn't doing multiple searches and this apparently only happens on Bookit because I have booked trips this way for at least 30 years and it never happened to me. Again all this without a simple apology. I have traveled all over the world using Travelocity, Expedia and Orbitz and never have I felt so neglected. At the very least someone should have guaranteed that I would get my money back for the ground transportation package. Smh. So disappointing.

    I just booked this trip on Saturday, Feb 23d, 2019 & tried to call customer service the very next day on Feb 24th to cancel the horseback riding excursion for April ** as I was later advised that it would be unsafe to leave outside of the resort. I also had concerns that the round trip airport transfer I scheduled only shows transportation from airport to hotel on April **, but no mention of return transportation from hotel to airport. I merely had questions, but on hold for 1 hour 10 minutes, with no one ever answering. I sent e-mail to Bookit.com with my concerns but still have not received any response. 

    Also tried to call customer service twice on Monday 2/26/2019 with again on hold for over 1 hour each time. I have tried to call 3 times again since this morning on Feb 27th but no answer again, just continuous reggae music while on hold. On the 3rd try of calling today, I tried calling a sales agent explaining my concerns to her, but who quickly transferred me to customer service. I again explained to “customer service” agent who then informed me I needed to speak to “activities”, so I thought she was transferring me but instead she disconnected me. I am now disgusted as this horrible type of customer service, or lack thereof, does not give me any confidence in traveling out of the country using Bookit.com as I am afraid if something went wrong I would not be able to reach anyone at Bookit.com for help. At this point, I fear I am victim of an online CONSUMER SCAM.

    While I have read many good things about Bookit.com customer service - I have yet to experience it. They have outsourced their customer service and all I have spoken with speak with very broken English, I can barely hear them and it takes forever with them on the phone. My last call was to change credit card information on a delayed payment plan (my original credit card was compromised and canceled). It took 28 minutes and then I hung up. I still was unable to change it with them. It is enough to use another agency to book future trips.

    Had booked a flight on my 10 Anniversary and they messed up on the dates. Called them and was on hold for hour and half at the airport and when we finally talked with someone they told us only option we had was pay 700 dollars more to get it for the next day or we have to go on the dates it was booked for which next month...with no money back.     The representative was knowledgeable, friendly and never once showed any frustration with my eagerness to inquire about all the different rooms available/rates. This additional $1200 put me in a horrible bind with my finances, as I was told to wait 7-10 BUSINESS days for a refund. No apology! No empathy! This is a huge amount of money that has interfered with my livelihood to pay my bills or even buy groceries...during these '7-10 business days' I was told to wait. I requested a confirmation email showing the additional flight was cancelled and ensure I would receive my refund - the BookIt agent did not send it. So, I called BookIt guest services the next day to get this confirmation email and spoke with Shelomett ** the 'manager ' who also didn't apologize, and actually had the audacity to say the error was my fault. How? I didn't run my card twice. I also didn't give authorization to have it run twice.

    I would NOT recommend any person to use BookIt.Com OR the phone agents for reservations as there are more professional and reliable options available that care about the customer - especially when it comes to their hard earned money. Again, I did not receive an apology or even a good gesture to compensate for this terrible inconvenience. BookIt ---> Shame on you!

    When receiving our confirmation our return flight was not what we booked. Flight ua1132 should have been ua1691. Also nobody was working Saturday to resolve this mistake. Also when booking for another couple joining us we had to go directly thru United Airlines because the same problem was happening.

    I am not the type to sit down and waste my time to write a bad review on anything but this website and customer service has pushed me to do this. I have never in my life had issue with booking, my boyfriend booked flight and room with BookIt plus activities. Just 24 hrs ago on 2/13/2019 after I realized that the room was booked for double beds and not just one king bed I contact BookIt to change it the double bed for a King bed, MIND YOU IT HAS BEEN ONLY 24 HRS, AND BOTH BEDROOMS ARE SAME PRICE!!!

    BOOKIT REPS Tell us to change it, it will cost us $200 dollars extra!!!! Are you kidding me? We booked this trip to Cancun. We are spending well over $3,000 alone and to change the room for one bed is extra! Forget it!! I didn't even pay this much $3,000 to go to Europe. Nonetheless I spend it over here in Cancun and still we decided to try them and it is a huge REGRET we now have made. I will never book with them again, why spend all this money if at the end of the day BookIt ** you over for a slow website that they have and customer reps who are no help!!

    I booked a three night stay in Cancun. As soon as I got there I found out I needed to return home as soon as possible. I spoke to Bookit.com about cancelling the other two nights. They said because I had already checked in I had to speak to the hotel. They told me that they had to charge one night as a penalty. So they would charge me for two nights and refund the third. They told me that they would only charge Bookit.com for two nights, so Bookit.com would be the company to make the refund because they are the ones that received the funds from me. Makes perfect sense but not when I speak to Bookit.com they say there is no money to refund. So I guess I will never see the money for the third night.

    But the thing that concerns me the most is that as part of a string of emails I received from Bookit.com was one with someone else's travel information. I received their itinerary, their vouchers, etc. Then the next email I received said: "This morning you may have received an email with a glitch in the subject line. How embarrassing! To make things right, we're releasing the following members-only codes just for you. Please accept our apologies and enjoy some extra savings on us! - The BookIt.com Team"

    Not the wrong subject line, the wrong person all together. I tried to speak to one of the agents about this breach of privacy but basically they just tried to deny the significance of this error. For me it begs the question "who has my personal information been sent to in error" and how serious do you take your clients' privacy.

    I have never before written a review but to me this is so serious. I felt the need to warn others.
