When I initially tried to book our trip after entering all of my group’s information I was directed back to the hotel webpage where it indicated the room type we wanted wasn’t available. I tried calling but was told the rep couldn’t help me if it was not available on line. I navigated off the page to the hotel webpage and booked for different days around the same time. When I woke up this morning I found out that I had been charged for the initial trip I wanted to book and now I had two overlapping trips???? When I called in to ask for help Shellyann was empathetic, friendly and handled my situation quickly and efficiently. Thank you. Thank you!

First time using BookIt.com. Booking trip to Cancun on Bookit.com was seamless. Pricing appears to be reasonable and there were various options to choose from. It gives you option for insurance and transfers. Can't wait to go on our trip.

This was my first time using Bookit.com. I was booking an all inclusive trip to Punta Cana online. My reservation came up with an error and would not process. I immediately, and I mean within 2 minutes received a phone call from a booking agent, Mr. Orandy TP GSA Lily, who told me that he saw my trip did not process, and immediately began to attempt to assist me. He was extremely patient and helpful, explaining what the issues were and offering different ways to rectify.
After explaining to me that the issue was on my side, I told him that I would check and he gave me his extension and hours that he was in the following day. He called me immediately the next morning, which by this time I had decided to change locations of my trip. The problem was resolved on my end and our trip was booked. Orandy was patient and kind, and spent a lot of time explaining to me the process. He answered all of my questions, of which I had many. This is truly the way customer service is meant to be. He was personable, and never appeared frustrated as he attempted to fix an issue that in the end was on my end, not his. I will definitely be using Bookit.com for my future trips, and would preferably use Orandy again.

Don't use BookIt! Customer Service Stinks! I went to Royalton Antigua in May 2019 and we had to leave 2 nights early due to a death in our immediate family. The hotel assured us that we would get something back for the 2 days but BookIt said they didn't have the resort's email. I found the email address and gave it to BookIt. Then they said Royalton isn't responding to their emails. Since May 2019 I've been trying to get an answer and even today they tell me Royalton isn't responding to them. How is this possible? From May to today: August 15th, I've been waiting. NEVER using them again!!!!

The site was easy to navigate site but would like or prefer a better way to compare more than one place instead of back and forth on screens. Somewhat difficult if you are comparing on your phone. The site however was easy to read and understand upgrades etc.

Do not use this website!!! Just got off the phone with them for the 5th time and one of their agents hanged up the phone on me!!! Their customer service is awful. Needless to say I’ll not use them again!!!!

The wrong card was charged after I gave the rep the last four digits of my card and the CV code. My boyfriend's card was charged instead so the rep clearly was not paying attention. The rep didn't seem like he wanted to be at work. I'm very disappointed with my experience with this individual.

I had problems with my online booking process. Would get to the end and all my info dissappeared when I went back to review or change it. This happened three times before I rushed to the end to finalize before it could dissapear again. However, in my haste, I forgot the promo code on my third try. I quoted my friends the price with the $100 discount, and customer service would not honor the discount since the transaction was completed. I guess I get to absorb the extra $100....not a good start to our vacation. I don't want to lose my flights by canceling and rebooking, and I believe there is a fee which would not make it worthwhile. Lesson learned. Be sure you don't forget your promo code!

Made reservations to stay at an all inclusive resort in Mexico. Purchased the travel insurance as I always do as I have an elderly parent that may need last minute attention. Had car break down that prevented me from making my flight. Could not get in touch with BookIt.com to see about cancelling the trip... I checked and there were no flights available to get me to the resort later on due to severe weather in the area stacking up the flights. BookIt had a recording stating a phone appointment would be necessary to speak with them. Acting in good faith I cancelled the trip directly with the resort as a courtesy to them. My trip insurance got cancelled as well! I was not allowed to make a claim. BookIt later said the trip was a non refundable rate....So why was I sold any travel insurance???

I changed my original booking to Punta Cana to another location due to safety concerns. While making this change, I found many customer service agents to lack knowledge and efficiency. No one seemed to have the correct information regarding policies. After countless hours on hold and speaking with various agents, managers, and flight team representatives, I finally have a new booking. The new booking costs considerably more than the original booking. I have been highly dissatisfied with all aspects in dealing with this company. Hopefully the vacation will still be a great experience but I will not use this company again and have filed a complaint with the BBB.

I selected Privilege Junior suite from BookIt.com and my confirmation has premium Junior suite. I am upset that I was deliberately bamboozled by Bookit.com. You select one choice from Bookit and it does not match up on The hotel sites. I’m sure this is not legal. I will follow up.

The booking agent I spoke to when modifying my trip was extremely helpful, finding ways to help me avoid fees, and save money on my re booked trip. I called to question, and also clarify the cancellation policy. I spoke to a gentleman who stated it was $25/per person to cancel, and the remainder would then be credited back to my card. However, upon cancellation, my card was charged an additional $600. I called in to BookIt customer service and was told that was the remainder of the flight cost. And to get the “credit” back we would have to put that and then we could use the credit. Along with that credit being available we would then have to pay a minimum of $225 for a transfer fee. When I asked to speak to a supervisor the lady then began to question why, and refused to transfer me. After I proceeded to ask repeatedly she then put me on “hold” and never came back to the line. Lesson learned, make sure you understand and read the fine details, and ask many many questions that are not listed anywhere on the website.

Been trying to get on the site all day to cancel a vacation. Nothing but blank pages are my only response. Now I'm writing comments and try to submit and it doesn't accept because my comment is supposed to have at least 40 words. This is the entire problem of this company on a micro-level! It has certain rules, but it doesn't explain them until after the fact.

I booked my flight and then cancelled after I was informed that I would receive a full credit. That was false. I was receiving false information back to back. Resulting in me being on the phone for over 3 hours and my situation still was not resolved. The customer service reps provided false information each time I called. These reps need to be trained. So disappointed I have a migraine now!!

I used Bookit.com to travel due to the option to have a payment plan. The representative was very helpful in booking the trip and providing the best options, or so I thought. A few months after booking my trip to the Dominican Republic I called to set up transportation to the resort from the airport, only to find out I was booked at a resort 45 minutes from PUJ. Not only wasn't I informed of the distance, I also wasn't offered the option to fly into the closer airport which would have been LRM. This was their mistake, and I wasn't offered any type compensation for the agent's lack of attention to detail. After searching for a few day I finally found affordable ground transportation costing me $116 round trip per person. 9 days before my trip I get an email from Horse Play whom my horseback riding and zip lining excursion is booked through with a list of hotels and pick up times.
My hotel is not listed and strange enough all of the hotels that were listed were located in Punta Cana. When I reached out to Horse Play I was then informed they are also 45 minutes away and located in Punta Cana, and they do not pick up at my resort but I again have the option of providing my own transportation (comical right). I then call my good friends at Bookit.com who took no accountability for their mistakes and only offered to refund the excursion.
Clearly these people are NOT trained these are mistakes that shouldn't have been made, their job is to know locations (you're a travel agent for God sake). They can not be paying attention. These are mistakes that I wanted to avoid booking on my own. All I asked is for them to provide transportation to and from the excursion, and I believe that was more than fair. Again they only offered an apology and a refund. I will never use this booking site again. The customer service is poor to say the least.

Hi. I booked a trip to the Bahamas. I have the company. My card numbers ended up using one card instead of the three cards. And when I get to the Bahamas someone is using the additional two cards that I only Gave the girl in the phone. No I didn't Use any of my cards in the Bahamas, the agent at BookIt was the only one I gave My card number to and now I’m getting charges on my card that I did not authorize. Guess what. While you're away internationally you can’t even call BookIt to make a complaint. Complete robbery. Doesn’t make sense that they don’t have an international number. When I get Home on Friday I’m going to call them to make a complaint and I’m going to the police. I have Never had this kind of stuff happen to me. Horrible.

I booked the Cozumel trip with a flight out of Colorado Springs, CO to Dallas to Cozumel. I booked the flight back at 5 ish pm from Cozumel to Dallas to Colorado Springs. The BookIt system changed my flight from the 5 ish pm flight to the 1ish pm flight. I was told that that could not happen. I was told they could change my flight but would charge me the extra money difference of the flight. I don't think it's right to charge me extra when your system selected the wrong flight.

I booked an all inclusive to the Dominican Republic through BookIt. We arrived and was placed in a MOLD INFESTED room and was changed to 5 ADDITIONAL rooms only to have to stay in A MOLD INFESTED ROOM. We contacted BookIt at that moment while we were there and explained the situation only to be told there was nothing they could do. We contested the charge but not the entire charge. We were fair and disputed a partial refund of $850 out of a $3,400 charge believing that it was the only fair thing to do. We had paid for a VIP experience which it was not.
We got stuck in a room that made us ill the entire time we were there. We contacted our credit card company which was CAPITAL ONE whom I'm disgusted with as well explaining what had transpired and now they are saying the resort refuses to give a a partial refund because we stayed in at the hotel as if we were going to leave the resort in a third world country and wander around looking for another place to stay. DO NOT GO TO BREATHLESS because you truly will be BREATHLESS staying in their rooms. We were NOT THE ONLY ONES with this issue. Countless others complained of the same situation but because it was Memorial Day they were completely booked. I can't believe BookIt as well as Breathless and CAPITAL ONE would conduct themselves in such a in human way.
DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL OR USE BOOKIT because this can happen to you very easily. I rated this disgusting place a 1 star because it's exactly what it is. Horrible food, service terrible rooms and a total disgrace of a hotel. BookIt got a call the day we landed and still refuses to credit us. I will never use your services again and I will continue to publish our experience even if it causes even one person not to use your services. Disgusting service.

I almost always book vacations with BookIt. Or at least hotels. Even after changing the cost to Canadian funds it's cheaper than all the other sites. The only problem is their flights from western Canada usually are convoluted and not non stop, so I just use them for the hotel. Good job BookIt!

Someone fraudulently booked a trip on my credit card. I immediately called customer service and they were no help. They said I had to call the next day to talk to crime prevention department. CS Rep should have been able to immediately cancel the fraudulent charge. Of course I notified my credit card company but BookIt.com should be better able to handle fraud.

I tried to book a trip in July 4th week. Because I had flight credits I had to book through the flight department. After holding for HOURS, I left several messages to return my call. I received a return call at the END of July. Useless!

Had big problems but was not your fault. Frontier Air was not accepting packages from BookIt.com and so the agent stayed on the phone with me while I booked air separate and then hotel. Managed to get me the same rate this way.

Very disappointed in the way we were treated. Scheduled a trip to Dominican Republic and with all trouble tried to reschedule somewhere else. Eventually had to cancel trip altogether because our cancel date was coming up. It took three weeks trying to talk with someone and reschedule another trip for same days because of work vacation schedule. Finally had a chance to book another trip somewhere up and because it took us three weeks the price went up. We had a lot of fun in Jamaica not because of them but because I chose hotel/flight and destination. Can't say I would ever use BookIt again.

I think BookIt.com should amend their customer service and allow customers to add a promo code once the booking has been confirmed within a certain amount of time. For example, we booked a trip and within 10-15 min found a promo. We were told we had to cancel the reservation and create a new one if we wanted to add a promo code.
Additionally, we are booking 9 room and found a resort. However, some family members got a higher rate - so unacceptable when we are all on the computer at the same time. This may be the last time we my family and I use Bookit.com. We alternative may just consider booking through a travel agent who would be able to better assist our needs without price changes or promo code changes.

I called customer service to change my hotel room. After being on hold for 45 mins, with the rep coming to check with me every 15-17 mins, finally said she couldn't change it and to call back. TF!!! I asked what if the rate changes, she said I had to work that out in the am with the next rep. In which I got upset, After asking for a supervisor, she placed me back on hold for another 15 mins where I just hung up. ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS.

Everything that I booked was inaccurate, from the insurance, to the transfer from the airport, to the price of the flights. Then when I called in and received less than satisfactory service. We purchased a trip through BookIt.com. We called within a few hours to change or try to get a larger place. We were denied and told our reservation could not be changed at all. So it was not changed. Four weeks later two days before the trip Wyndham Ocean Ridge called to confirm our reservations and where we would be staying. THEN less than 24 hours later we received a call that due to a storm damage that we didn't have a room. After calling them on the weather and the fact that there were no storms (one usually checks the weather where they are going) then it was changed to maintenance issues. So we are now out a room and a vacation. Both BookIt, Expedia, and Wyndham pointed fingers at each other and no one took responsibility. DO NOT TRUST these companies with your vacation plans.

My biggest complaint is that I had booked excursions through Bookit.com back 3 months prior to my trip. I had my vouchers printed, I followed instructions and called the excursion to confirm my reservation more than 48 hours prior but found out that they didn't have a reservation under my name or confirmation number provided to me by Bookit. I immediately called Bookit customer service but waited on the line for over an hour only to be disconnected. I attempted to get through numerous times, holding for an hour plus without any luck. While on my vacation, the day of my planned reservation, 6/22, I called again and finally got through. I spoke with a woman named Sharon who accused me of not following the instructions and calling 48 hours prior, needless to say, I didn't appreciate the accusations. She was completely rude!
I became insistent on having resolution, she placed a conference call to Dolphin Discovery, where both she and I tried every which way to confirm my reservation only to find out that I was correct, no reservation on file. I demanded a refund from Bookit as I now had to try to make alternate reservations because they obviously don't follow up to make sure that the information makes it to the vendor... After my hour-long conversation with Sharon, she spoke with a manager and was given permission to send an email to request a full refund for the excursion.
Now, if that wasn't stressful enough, it gets better. I tried to get through to Bookit.com for several days afterwards when it was apparent that my refund wasn’t processed. I couldn’t actually speak with anyone due to the high volume of re-bookings due to events occurring in the Dominican Republic. They requested for all re-bookings to be faxed but there were no options to speak with anyone about my anticipated refund. I eventually got through on 7/9 and spoke to another rep who was beyond sweet but had to explain it all over again because Sharon never documented my call on 6/22. I went through the whole explanation and was put on hold while she spoke with someone above her who then again granted permission for her to send a refund request to the activities department. She advised me that I would get a call on 7/10 regarding this request.
It is now 7/16 and I am on the phone AGAIN!!! Guess what, today I got Mohammed, and I briefly explained what I needed so he said he’d transfer me but instead I was disconnected. I called back and got James, once again explaining what I needed. He transferred me to guest services. I spoke with Monique in guest services who then reviewed the notes from my 7/9 call and transferred me over to the Activities Department for resolution. At this moment, I have been on hold for 30 minutes.
After several more minutes, I get Nathan and have to go through the whole story AGAIN. He manages to give me some hope that I will get resolution. He tells me that he would look into it and call Dolphin Discovery to verify that that I didn’t go under the confirmation from the reservation. I reminded him that he needs to be specific because I did actually end up purchasing passes through Dolphin Discovery so that I could enjoy the excursion that I wanted. He said that if he can confirm that they don’t have my voucher being used, then he can get a refund issued. I begged him to please look into it and call me back as I had already wasted countless hours on the phone asking for my refund. He agrees to do that and actually did call me back but was confused about what I have explained to him and everyone else at BookIt. I clarified again and he said that he was calling them now and will call me back.
It is now 7/24 and I have yet to receive a call back or refund. I really can’t take more time away from my job but it can’t wait until later because I also have three children that need me when I am at home so how on earth do I get resolution to this… Bookit.com, you OWE me MORE than a refund for my excursion, this is lost time and extreme aggravation for me. I am fed up and honestly would never recommend Bookit.com to anyone, EVER!

If the prices change during the process of a booking of hotel and flight, please don't allow a partial transaction to occur. Then make the customer wait for a 7-10 day for a refund. Just to rebook the same trip over again.

I have used many third party companies like Bookit.com. But this company is really trash of trash!!!! No one ever replies email. 30mins of waiting when they put you on hold. Cuts the phone if they don't feel like helping you. All they do is nothing!!!! They tell you to contact the airline by yourself if you got problems, contact the hotel by yourself if you got problem. Seriously guys, once you need help or some support from this company, I strongly recommend that don't expect anything from this company!!!! They might really!!!! RUIN your vacation!!!! Giving 4 stars because I spent over an hour picking out my hotel and room and flight and after hitting send only my flight was booked and it wasn't even the same one I had chosen, apparently the price of our hotel was changing. We planned for vacation. Getting to the airport, they had wrong name in the system. Airline cannot touch it because the BookIt.com has bundle purchase. We call the BookIt.com, they pick up the phone after 2 (two hours), the flight is gone and they say, "Ok you missed your flight. 200$ per ticket we charge you and no refund, it is credit. PLUS you pay for 2 night resort." Terrible customer service. They think people are toys. There are many lawsuit against them. I will take them to court. This is not right way.

I'm writing this while being placed on hold for 30 minutes today. It was almost an hour last night. I book an all inclusive vacation including air and hotel. After confirming and paying for the trip I immediately got an auto generated email stating there was "an error while processing your package. The flight portion was unable to be confirmed. Please contact Bookit.com immediately." So I called them as asked and was told: "Sorry, the airline does not have available seats that we offered you." I asked to find other flights and was told I needed to do this myself. I asked for a refund and was told, "Sorry, your hotel is non-refundable." I stated this was sold as a package and DID NOT receive a package! No refund available.
I booked this through this company because they had a promotion for $100 off a 5 day trip. This was not credited to the amount either. I asked about this and was told it could not be given to me as well. I asked for a return call from a supervisor after my hour wait and was told I would get one. No call. I called again today, explained the circumstances, and have been on hold for 40 minutes now. NEVER BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. TERRIBLE EVERYTHING!!! If you're reading this, I will be very surprised. By the way, still on hold!!!

I have spent 4+ hours on the phone with BookIt. I requested flight, hotel, and round trip from airport. The website kept giving me errors so I called in for assistance. The first time I called in I was on the phone for over an hour. She recommended I book through Expedia for flights and she would match price for hotel so it would come out as price I was quote all together. After an hour and her attempt to do that she hung up. It was 1:30am now. When I called back conveniently their offices were closed.
I called the next day in attempt to book all three flight hotel and round trip. I was on the phone now for 2 hours. After stating their system was giving me errors they recommended I do same thing, get flights through Expedia and they’ll make sure my price all together would be same as I was quoted. I was charged almost $200 more and then they hung up after 2 hours. No one called me back. I called again and explained situation and they transferred me. I have been on the phone now for 1hr and 30min. And no one willing to help or get this matter resolved.. This is has been the biggest nightmare of my life. They don’t care about their customers, all they’re out for is money.

I called Bookit.com when I discovered flights were showing CZM, not CUN. The CSR assured me he would fix matters... with no penalties or extra cost to me. On 1/10/19 I booked an all-inclusive package for 2 to Playa Del Carmen, Mexico from a link that was emailed to me from a Bookit.com Customer Service Rep named Alex. Alex and I had prior detailed conversations about the destination (hotel options and flight schedules) and had only discussed Cancun and Playa Del Carmen. We had NEVER discussed Cozumel. My husband and I have been to Playa several times and are very familiar with the area. On 2/4/19 I was home sick and decided it might lift my spirits to look at our upcoming anniversary vacation reservations. I was completely flabbergasted when I noticed the flight itinerary showed CZM, not CUN. Our reservation even had ground transfers from the Cancun airport, so it made no sense that the flights were showing Cozumel.
I called and spoke to Alex. He was as shocked as I was and said he didn't know how that happened, but he apologized and assured me that he would fix it. I questioned whether there would be any cost or penalty to me for rebooking and he said NO. This phone call was recorded by BookIt.com!!! BookIt.com knows what their Rep promised me, but refuses to "make it right". I know that airline tickets are normally non-refundable, but when Alex assured me he would rebook our trip with no penalty to me, I believed him. I have worked in the Travel Industry and know that ANY "mistake" can be fixed. I believe Alex intended to refund the entire trip and rebook it correctly, but the original flights were not refunded, only the Hotel portion and transfers.
I tried to dispute it with my credit card company, I tried to get a refund directly from American Airlines, and of course I also tried speaking to Bookit.com numerous times, but to no avail... only frustration, as their Customer Service is the worst ever! I bet I spent 20 hours on hold. Requests for a Manager to call me back were ignored. ** The obvious fact in this situation-- if those ($1,695.00) tickets were indeed 100% non-refundable, why didn't Alex offer to apply them to the new booking that he made for us???? I need that money back! **

I have reservations for Secrets Silversands in early Aug. In early June I found out that this resort is closed and contacted BookIt.com for a resolution. Both my wife and I have called a total of four times and have spent roughly 6 hours on hold. Several times we have been promised a call and we never receive a call. All we have asked for is that we are given a new hotel reservation. The last person we spoke with told us to go ahead and fly to Cancun and go to Breathless with our itinerary that shows Secrets Silversands and they would give us a room since they are also an AM resort. I'm sorry but I'm not flying to another country without a set itinerary and just hope that another resort will honor this.
We have asked that they update our itinerary online so we have something set in stone BEFORE we travel. The customer service agent was quick to remind my wife that this is non-refundable. However, we have paid for something and they aren't delivering. If we don't have this fixed soon it will be disputed with our credit card company. We never asked for a refund just to have our itinerary updated with a different hotel reservation that is confirmed.

On July 9, 2019 I searched for hotels in CANCUN, MX for July 10-12, 2019 looking for the TRS property my family was staying at in CANCUN. Upon searching the properties and booking the first TRS I saw. I realized BookIt.com gave me an option for a TRS Hotel that was NOT in Cancun but Playa Del Carmen. Yes the same hotel chain but DIFFERENT PROPERTY DIFFERENT CITY. Frustrating.
Immediately I called within 10 minutes of booking and was on hold for 30 minutes before I got to a representative who then transferred me to another represent where I held on for another 30 minutes. After being online 1 hour 45 minutes BookIt.com rep explains there is nothing she can do to help due to their cancellation policy. My problem is not my mistake because things do happen however how does a company not a has a course of action for customers who book the wrong location? Or for customers who call immediately to address their problem/mistake. A simple transfer of properties is all I asked. The Bookit.com reps were powerless. Of course this was after I’d already booked my flights and arranged ground transportation! Needless to say Bookit.com is attempting to steal my money! WILL NEVER USE THIS SITE AGAIN!

Hello. I contacted BookIt to modify my planned trip to DR in September. My family, friends and coworkers all urged me to cancel my trip as more unexplained deaths and illnesses were reported. I finally caved in to pressure as I, too, began to worry. I finally called BookIt to say I needed to make a change. After an hour on hold, I was told I had to fill out a form online and would receive a call back in 7 to 10 days. I was not happy with the situation, but had no choice. Exactly 10 days later, I received a call during my appointment time frame from Shy. She was excellent and managed to turn my frown upside down. She went above and beyond to calm my nerves and change my trip to preferred new destination. Thank You Shy. I really appreciate all the help you gave me.

This is the only hits time I have used BookIt.com. I like that they have an option to do payments. I’m excited for my upcoming vacation to Jamaica. I haven’t had any problems yet with BookIt. The only flaw is that I can’t add on extras to my flight yet such as luggage or priority seating.

BookIt just wants your money. No customer service. No one cares about anything but getting your money. Issues/ errors made on their end and they did not want to honor or fix their issues. They also wound up double charging our whole group of 10 for transportation to and from a hotel without telling anyone until I found out. They booked all of our group members on different flights to and from our destination... did not honor changing flights on their mistakes and wanted us to pay an extra $400 per person...

Had problems adding a guest to the room because I booked a package deal but only needing flight for 1. Agent said I would still pay online price even if I booked with him. It took him 1hr or more. He couldn't add insurance, tried 5x. Kept losing card info. Then I ended up paying $65 more with the agent. Tried to add room insurance as well. Basically told not worth the hassle. I wouldn't get money back anyway if something happened. This was from a 2nd agent. After I called back to fix issues with 1st agent. Very irritated and unhappy.

Many websites make it difficult to book an all inclusive with flights. Bookit allows you to customize your search. I was able to refine my search for all inclusive, adults only, flights included with specified dates. Many last minute options available at great rates for a good price. Only downfall like most other travel sites, you can not pick a seat on a flight. Also, the trip flights are chosen for you in a group. I would like the option to choose a departure and return separately. All in all pleased with booking.

I booked a vacation in Punta Cana prior to all the deaths. I tried to change it and couldn't reach anyone on the phone but had to book an appointment. I asked for a certain time as I was getting on a plane at the tail end of the appointment I was given and was called 10 minutes before boarding. I was given another appointment a week later (5 days before my vacation) and by that time flights had doubled and the agent couldn't even make a recommendation. I recently decided to change my Vacation for my Wife's birthday to DR to Cancun Mexico. I was contacted my Ms. Jessica **. To say she was amazing would be a super understatement. I made a reservation and just a few hours later, realized it was with the wrong resort so I cancelled. There is a 100 cancellation fee which is ridiculous when the trip was over a month away and I just made the reservation. Be cautious when booking with this website!

I received a callback from Carson ** about changing my family’s trip to DR. During the time we asked suggestions because we wanted to change but honestly she was not helpful at all. She did not make any suggestions now make our time enjoyable with booking. I doubt I would use BookIt again.

Horrible customer service and support. I booked a trip and the time of there was only 1 nonstop flight and it was very early. A few days later I looked again and there were 3 more flights with great times. I tried calling the airline and they said only BookIt can adjust flight. I try to get in contact with BookIt and their process is that they schedule an appointment with you for a phone call a WEEK LATER!! HOW RIDICULOUS IS THAT? For something as time sensitive as this how are they not properly staffed to assist their clients? I will be sure to never use them again and tell my friends and family not to either.

I don't see how y'all getting all of these 4 and 5 stars when y'all customer service suck. All I want to do is modify my trip and I even saved my search to my members lounge. I was emailing a Beth ** trying to get an earlier date for my scheduled appointment and she claims there are no slots available. I explained to her that I recently picked up a second job and that there are only 4 packages left for the place that I'm trying to go. My brother just modified his trip today and it took less than 10 minutes. Why are y'all making it so difficult for people to modify, but y'all still are booking new trips? It just doesn't make any sense. My trip is scheduled for July 15th and all I want is to change the date and location. I've emailed corporate, and social@bookit and still no response. Y'all really have to improve on serving your customers better.

After the reports in the DR our group wanted to change our travel plans. We were on hold for 7 hours and gave up. Once they changed the system to putting your info in and getting an appt time. It all went SO much smoother. I am sure so many people wanted to change their plans and while it took BookIt several weeks to figure out a new system to help everyone they possibly could, it was definitely less stressful! We were all able to talk to someone the same day and everything was changed so we could still travel together. Everyone that I have spoken to there are extremely nice, patient and understanding. Price went up $100 in literally 5 minutes. I was booking for my sister so I saved it and came back to book after getting into and the price went up over $100?? I get that prices change - but you wouldn’t think it would be within minutes of getting the quote.

I planned a vacation at an all inclusive resort in Punta Cana for my family. BookIt.com was seemingly very helpful during this process — I guess because they wanted my money. I added “Privilege” — an upgrade the resort offers — to my vacation plans after the original plans had been made. Little did I know that BookIt changed my room requests when they made this addition. Obviously, I paid more money for this upgrade and I got less!
Upon check in we found that the room we wanted — a swim up room - had been changed, without my knowledge, to a regular room. I showed the resort staff the paper that said we had a swim up room but they said that was not the paper that BookIt emailed them. I called David ** with whom I worked at BookIt at least three times and left messages imploring him to call me back. I also emailed him several times asking for his help. He never responded. I was on my own — with no help from a BookIt — to fend for myself. I would never use BookIt again or recommend them to anyone I know!

Due to the issues in DR, my family of 4 decided to make change our travel plans 2 weeks before we were to leave on June 29. I canceled my hotel reservation with another site and booked an oceanfront room in Aruba with BookIt.com. They charged my credit card right away and sent me a confirmation email a few days before we were to leave. Imagine my surprise when we got to the Hyatt in Aruba, and no room was booked. When I tried to call them, they weren’t taking calls because of all the calls about the DR. The hotel called them and they were supposed to call back, but never did. I later found out, they called my home. I don’t know how that was going to help.
After close to 5 hours, several calls (which one rep hung up on me when I refused to fill out an online form for a call back), they were able to get us a room in the Hyatt. We finally called their corporate office since their service center was not helping. At one point they wanted to transfer us to a lesser hotel, which I refused after reading all the negative reviews. I found out from the Hyatt that they have an agreement with Booking.com that all reservations have to be made at least 21 days in advance. Of course they did not mention that to me when I first booked my room. Their customer service skills were poor at best and their sensitivities to the need a paying customer stuck without a room was nonexistent.

Our rebook from the Dominican was a nightmare. I complete the request to rebook and was given a date to receive a call between 10-2. The call never came. Was emailed that due to high volume the call would be the next day from 8-11. Again, the call never came. I finally got the call the third day. My representative was nice, but did not complete our request correctly. I know how no transportation to and from the airport and they are charging me a fee for booking airline even though I paid my flight change directly with the airline like they said I needed to. I appreciate BookIt for allowing us to change from the Dominican, but they need a better process and customer service.

I had to cancel my vacation plans and was worried about the refund policy and headache of dealing with an automated call representative. However, BookIt did a fantastic job at reassuring me that my hotel fair would be refunded with no issue and I'll be able to use a flight credit for my tickets to another destination later this year. I never write reviews and I am writing this one because every single time I call their customer service line someone answers the phone within minutes and is extremely helpful. This was my first solo trip and it was indeed amazing!!! I booked the Signature Junior Suite Oceanfront, very spacious room with an incredible view! Food and drinks were pretty decent. Although, you do wait for ever to even get seated at the restaurants. The AC didn’t seem to be working one night, I called front desk and they fixed it within minutes. Considering the amount of guests; they seemed short staffed behind bars, despite this, service was wonderful! Everything is as advertised per the website, except for bathrobes, they don’t carry any at the moment. Overall it was a great experience, and would definitely book again!??? Also excited to see how the rooftop comes out!????

Easy to filter and choose rooms and flights. Easy to navigate and offered many options. I thought the prices were good, especially after signing up! I travel a lot but never used BookIt before but I will definitely in the future. I am very impressed!

I called a month ahead of my reservation to change dates due to school related issues. I was told by the BookIt representative that she would send a email to the resort that I would be staying at and inform them of the change, she advised me to call before my departure to confirm everything but gave no specific date. Days before my trip I called to make sure everything was okay and no one had any knowledge of what I was talking about. I was told that I would have to pay a cancellation fee to change anything even though I had called weeks before about the same thing. So I have now changed my reservation and paid the additional fees and I am not happy about that. I wish the first representative would have sent the email she told me she was going to send so that I would have not had to pay a cancellation fee.

Our original vacation package flights were cancelled by the airline the day of our trip and told us they had nothing available. BookIt went out of their way to help us and we rebooked another trip at a later date. Best prices on the internet!

I wish you will accept AMEX credit card since this is the card that I used when traveling overseas also booking to my choice airport, (Newark international) was impossible, The website kicked out couple of times. Information on status of of the resort not being available especially with Sargasso on the shorts of Cancun was not available. Overall the experience was satisfactory. The travel insurance was a little expensive.

Very upsetting, because once they have the reservation they are not responding or responsible to misspelling names. I have called about 15 times and they have not fixed my problem. Every time I called, they provide different number to call. Very dissatisfied.

I have used Bookit.com before to reserve resorts in Punta Cana and I always got a date on my reservation and was overall very satisfied with the service online. This time, however, I got a confirmation e-mail without check-in or check out date. This, as you may imagine could cause some issues in case of a discrepancy during registration at the hotel. Please revise and fix that.

I tried calling today 7/24/19 because I had a question regarding the taxes being charge after calling yesterday for a price adjustment since the prices drop after all the unfortunate events in the D.R. The person that helped me today was very rude, could not give me a breakdown, got loud with me, would not let me speak and told me those were extra charges from the property. When I called Barcelo and told them what the BookIt. rep just told me regarding the taxes he told me those were charges made by the company and not by them.
I asked the hotel rep. how much I would pay if I book with them and he told me if I book with them with a bigger room, I will be paying $257.55 less than what Bookit is charging me. I tried to give Bookit another chance after I had a bad experience last time I booked a trip with them and my spouse could not make it to the hotel the same day after having military orders. Horrible service. They don't care about the customers at all. Very sad after I set up the trip with 7 people. Very disappointed.

BookIt is a nice website to purchase all-inclusive reasonable vacation packages from, but when speaking with representatives you have to be sure to mention the listed discounts otherwise they will not honor it. Other than that, they offer great payment plans.

We enjoyed the trip overall as this was our first all inclusive vacation. We were however disappointed with the kids since we were under the impression that it was an adults only resort. The only place in which there were no children was the pool and our building. Kids were at all of the restaurants and all over the resort. This was also our first time using BookIt. Thanks!!

Super early to book, great discount! The round trip transportation to and from the airport to resort is very convenient as well. I have used BookIt a few times before and it has never upset. They offer a bookit representative on the property to help book excursions..

I can't leave an accurate review yet! I can say I love the process so far. Choosing a resort I did love looking to see what's offered. I also love pay for 6 months. Could use pictures of rooms though. Like seeing actual rooms would be great.

So disappointed!! Booked through your company and airline says BookIt needs to choose seats. Bookit representative refused to do such and hung up on me when I asked to talk to supervisor. Terrible customer service. I waited on hold a very long time with Bookit, after JetBlue said Bookit had to choose the seats.
