Hotel charges extra fees above BookIt fee and these are not listed on booking info page. You have to click on a link to see them. Called customer service and had to listen to repeating Bookit commercial for over 40 minutes before anyone answered. Logged on to Bookit website. Clicked on the feature to view recent bookings. Bookings didn't appear. Bookit charges $25 to cancel by phone. Can't cancel a booking that doesn't appear. Lack of ability to cancel on-line appears to be a trick to collect that $25 from unhappy customers.

I was able to research and come to a quick decision on which hotel to book. I chose Days Inn Thunderbird in North Miami Beach. I have stayed here previously and the price I found on Bookit was better than anywhere else. I will definitely be using Bookit again for future bookings.

I like how I'm able to see available seats of the flights I was about to book and I'm able to select chosen seats. Booking process is quick and easy. The website is so friendly, very easy to navigate. The only problem is that the total amount charged on my card shown on BookIt.com website, total package charge ($1341.39) is different from the total amount was charged shown in the email ($1516.84), which is frustrating to see!

I used BookIt.com to reserve a hotel in Mexico for a recent trip. When I arrived at the hotel, the hotel had my name but did not have payment for the hotel from BookIt.com. As a result I had to pay the hotel for the room in order to check in. Nice way to start your trip - double charging for your hotel! The hotel mentioned it was a common problem with BookIt.com and that I would have to be refunded by them. I now have two charges for the hotel on my credit card. I called BookIt.com to get refunded. They acknowledged it was a problem that they had had with late payments for reservations. In the end, BookIt.com's records showed that they had submitted payment to the hotel on the day of check in (perhaps they need to do this a tad earlier!!) but that the hotel didn't charge them - obviously because they had received my payment for the room.
BookIt.com's customer service told me they had arranged for the hotel to refund me (very convenient seeing as the room paid for directly with the hotel was $85 cheaper!!) and the hotel would in turn charge them. This made no sense to me. If BookIt.com wanted to provide any form of customer service they should have refunded me for providing no services, but instead they wanted to ensure they got their booking fee by requiring the hotel to process the refund. Terrible company to work with and I will never use their website or services (or lack thereof) again. Stay AWAY!!

I had a reservation that was made a month ago. While printing the information on 3/20/16, I realized that the dates were not when I had thought they were booked. It had me arriving 3/21/16 instead of 3/28/16. I tried to modify it online but was forced to pay $192.00 extra and get lesser rooms. I called to speak to a customer service rep and they couldn't help me. Additionally, I couldn't get my Activity adjusted to the new dates because no one worked on Sunday with the authority to do this. I had to call the next day and they said they "can't get me a new voucher but to take the old voucher with the wrong date and everything should be okay."
It is a week away and they can't get it to me? Plus everyone at BookIt that I spoke to had a terrible attitude, was rude and I didn't receive proper customer service. When I asked about options I was treated rudely and told to cancel but I would still lose 216.00. I called the hotel to verify that I was being told the truth and to see if they had already charged for my room but they told me that if I had booked with them then they could have modified the dates with NO PENALTY! I now have a worse room and paid a penalty while being treated rudely and no one answered my questions. I WILL NEVER USE BOOKIT AGAIN!!!

I have been going to The Rio for over 23 years. The last 3 times I have stayed at the Rio I have been very disappointing. I arrived an 1 1/2 hour earlier than their check-in time. They asked if I made my Reservation with Book-it. I told them "yes". They then told me it would be a $20 charge for checking in early. That has never happened in all the years I have stayed at the Rio. Next they put me in the old towers and put me at the very last room in the hallway. Their hallways are some of the longest in Las Vegas. This is the third time this has happened after using Bookit. The water in the room was barely lukewarm. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone again. I will never stay there again!!!

Round window in front door not secured. A long armed person could reach through & open door. Door lock was very hard to open. Pool was closed while we were there because water hadn't been treated & was green. Had to keep shoes on because the floor was very dirty. No hangers, no luggage racks, hair on sheets. Not worth the $200 that we spent.

I paid for an entire trip but they took my money and did not give me travel insurance. I have the receipt but they would not honor the payment. They totally ripped me off and I can't get a refund. You can speak to a supervisor or manager. I just keep getting this guy named Clive. Day or night you will only talk to Clive. I plan on reporting this to my local consumer reporter for help.

Decided to change rooms for more beds and was charged $25... Fee should be for cancellation and not for modification.

We hear you and understand, but all modification information is disclosed in "Booking Information and Terms & Conditions" provided at the time of booking. I was looking online to add to a booking I currently had but saw the same trip at a lower price. I called in & the rep that was helping me wasn't helpful at all. She pulled up the booking id, said she saw it & proceeded with the booking in which I was opting for pay delay but instead I was booked the full price & told they couldn't change it. However I did speak with the supervisor & other arrangements were made. I was on the phone 2 hours. VERY DISAPPOINTED. Last but not least as she kept putting me on hold the price of the trip changed just that quick & when I asked about it she informed me it was a live site & subject to change at any time (really). We were talking & supposedly booking so "how can the price change if it's locked in already? VERY DISAPPOINTED.

I got an incredible deal on a hotel in Waikiki but most other sites offer free cancellation and I had to pay extra for cancelling insurance, which made me nervous. But deal was good enough even with that, so I booked. Very easy to book but I emailed last week and told website that the dates need to be changed on the terms and conditions at the end of the contract to book. It still has dates of 2015 and we are now well into 2016. Someone that called me said she was going to get a hold of I.T and have it fixed, but more than 2 weeks later, still not fixed. Makes me worry about the dependability and honesty of the company. I've used BookIt in the past with no issues, so I'll try not to worry about that.

This is our third trip through BookIt and each experience has been great but this trip we had to change dates on our trip and the process was so effortless besides me stressing over a incorrect process. I have no doubts about your customer service and support. We were able to change dates and even saved my thanks to the young lady. Sorry I forgot her name. I wanted a king bed but none were available so I settled for 2 queen bed room but the agent booked a double bed room instead and when I called back they told it I would have to pay more money and then they charged me to correct my booking "modify".

Your BookIt app did not work so I decided to call BookIt.com for support yesterday morning. I spoke with Annakay at extension **. From the beginning of the call, I was crystal clear on the dates I wanted to travel and even the name of the hotel. All I needed was the flight information before purchasing. It took OVER TWO HOURS for your "service rep" to complete the booking. I told her that I was able to complete the booking on my own by using your website. She said that if I did, an error would occur. At first she booked the wrong return flight. When I asked her to simply call me back, she said I could wait. After about 20 minutes on hold while she called the airline, she eventually said she would call me back but we had already been on the phone for an hour and twenty minutes. I told her that I wanted to buy travel insurance (your website and announcements while on hold recommend it). She said I would have to buy that separately.

My daughter accidentally booked a room. She was trying just to hold the listing. Either way it was for the wrong day. Trying to get it cancelled was a joke. They wanted to charge $50.00 to cancel a booking not even 5 minutes old. It took a lot of talking and getting a supervisor involved just to get $25.00 waived. I will dispute the whole transaction and will never book through or recommend BookIt.com through trivago, first time user since it came highly recommended. I decided to check it out. What a complete rip off. Not to mention the room booked was 3 weeks out so plenty of time to have it booked. Scandalous and unaccommodating.

Had to go through 3 different agents at 3 difference to times for 3:30 hrs to book one booking. Web page was not working for intermittently. The last agent Traci, made good and made it finally. She really worked hard to get this done. The company web and some of the agents made this very difficult. Hope you get a good agent and their browser is working when you try to book.

I am extremely dissatisfied and unhappy with this service. I made reservations and unfortunately had to cancel less than 2 HOURS later. Not only was I charged a $25 cancellation fee (which I was alright with, because it was openly indicated), but I was also charged AN ADDITIONAL $25 PROCESSING FEE and on top of that, my money (which was removed from my account immediately), will not be refunded for 7-10 days!! That is outright RIDICULOUS!! I will NEVER use this service again and I will tell everyone that I know how dissatisfied I am with this service.

I booked a trip to Cancun with 7 other friends. They do not make it easy. Not all people who travel are couples or families. Sometimes it's a "girls' getaway". They don't make it easy to split cost for double occupancy when each person is paying for themselves and want to charge additional charges every time a person wanted to book in attachment to my original booking. For my friend who is coming from out of town they could not help her make a separate flight... Not to be charged to the other person booking with her so she had to get her own flight to Dallas and then book with a friend from here. There are a total of 8 people going and each booking was a lot of hassle.

Worst experience ever right after I had received my confirmation email with my name spelled wrong on the flight booking. Days on hold for hours and no one knew what they were doing... NEVER EVER AGAIN. I about to have a stroke and make a trip to the ER. You guys need to work on your customer service big time and not waste other people's (customers) time after you took their money. And then telling there is isn't a superior available to talk to because they have been on a call for the last 3 hr and not sure when they be done!?! Really?!?

Took around 4 hours at hotel to confirm my booking. I was on the phone for 2 hours with Bookit and still didn't have my reservation. Time is precious on vacation and I feel like this shouldn't have taken so long to figure out. I really hope no one else has this happen to them.

I booked a poolside room at the 3.5 star Ramada Resort. This hotel is 1 star at best and the room I was placed in was not poolside. It was bug infested, smelled like mildew, and had mold and rust everywhere. For the hotel itself, the pool bar was closed, the fountain outside of our balcony was empty, and the hallways smelled like cigarettes. I started calling BookIt as soon as we got into our room and realized that it neither met our expectations nor the advertised description. I was on hold for an hour this first night and never reached anyone. So the next morning, I began calling again. After about 30 minutes, I reached a gentleman who finally stated he would get ahold of the hotel management in attempt to resolve our issues and get back with me.
I explicitly told him repeatedly that the only way I would be satisfied was to be relocated and refunded for the first night. I also asked to speak with management and he informed me that his supervisor was not there and therefore I could not speak with him/her. After 5 hours, I had not heard back. So I called back and this time dealt with a lady who relocated us for our last two nights to another hotel. However, there was no discount provided meaning I paid an exorbitant amount for a Friday and Saturday night booked the day before. Nor was she able to do anything about that night since I had reached her after checkout. Therefore, the lack of customer service I received the night before and that morning were my issue to deal with basically.
Instead of being able to provide any sort of refund, she offered a small BookIt credit which I declined. Instead she placed me on hold multiple times to try to connect me with her manager - ultimately unsuccessfully. Instead, she scheduled for them to call me today - which has also not yet occurred. Totally unacceptable that those with the ability to resolve my issues are unwilling. I have completely lost confidence in BookIt's ability to provide an acceptable product or customer service.

We did not stay at the 'hotel'. We were told we couldn't use the laundry facilities due to the fact we were only staying one night. I was traveling w/ a friend-- NOT a boyfriend... and the bathroom and toilet areas had glass partitions. I should like to point out that BookIt never mentioned this was a -- couples' hotel. I demand a refund-- it is in their best interest to issue one - as most of the reviews are negative. When I asked for the manager, I was told she was not available and there was no way to get in contact with her -- this, of course being absurd... since this is the (main) function of a manager -- to listen to clients. I also got the impression this was some sort of 'meeting place' since we saw a couple request a room for 2 hours. My bill was 114.00$.

I booked a hotel for March 17 and the confirmation came back as April 7. They wouldn't change it without a charge and then charged me another 89.00 on top of the 66.00 that they already charged me for to get the room for March 17. Then they said it was for a king size bed and it ended up being for 2 queen size beds. I will not use them again.

Phone agent rep was not very aware of certain answers to questions relating to the resort that, I as the customer was interested in knowing. Which I asked to speak with a supervisor to have my concerned questions answered, and the Rep stated that there were no managers on duty. I also asked for the rep name and rep number; which she refused to provide her information. I truly hope this vacation will be enjoyable and a much better experience from the problems that I had making this booking with your bad inexperience Rep, who could not provide me with any answers to my questions; pertaining to the resort that has been booked online.

I am absolutely pissed! I made a reservation tonight and specifically chose to pay at the hotel and the website is saying I have been charged the full amount! I chose to pay at the hotel for a reason!!! Now I tried to go on the website to just cancel my reservation altogether and it told me I would have to call. I have been waiting for 50 minutes on someone to answer my call! THIS IS RIDICULOUS! I hope that it really doesn't charge my card tonight so I can go see our US Navy sailor this weekend!

I was on hold to add my significant other as a guest because their site booked me as one guest instead of 2. I was literally on hold for someone to tell me that I would have to cancel and lose all my money, rebook for a room that fits 2 guests. I love BookIt but was disappointed this morning. I called to add an extra day onto the reservation I made last night. I got charged for a cancellation fee when they just redid the reservation. I should have just called the hotel and added a day. That's not good practice.

I am very disappointed with your booking service. While the booking and payment process was easy some complications happened with our reservation and NO ONE would help. I called the customer service number multiple times, sat on hold for 40 MINUTES and no one ever picked up. Finally I find a different number and someone picks up only to transfer me back to the line where no one was answering even though I let her know I had already been on hold for way too long. Regardless of the ease of booking I would not use your service again because there is no help if complications arise.

Casino was fun. Do not get runabout room. We were given a room on 5th floor. The nightclub music went until 4 am and was loud. The bass music was so loud the lamps in the room were shaking and vibrating. Needless to say, no sleep until the club closed at 4 am.

Online room options say that you have the choice of bedding and after I book and pay the money I discover in fine prints that is based on availability and the customer service rep can only say "you got what you paid for".

We are incredibly disappointed and upset by the decisions of Bookit.com in dealing with their mistake regarding our Spring Training trip to Arizona. The trip was booked incorrectly by their agent in January. When booking the trip it was pulled up online and followed up with an hour long conversation with an agent over the phone. He asked for the booking number which was given to him which showed the dates of March 16-19. He must have misunderstood because he booked our trip for MAY 16-19. Because I didn't catch that they hadn't done their job correctly until last week -- March 10th, we are out of a vacation due to the fact that flights are now $1000-$1200 more expensive than at the time the trip was booked. We are devastated, sad and in absolute disbelief that a company of this caliber would not fix a mistake they made and do everything they could in their power to make this situation right!
In the MANY conversations with this company over the last 3 days they have told us multiple different things one of them being "This is all our fault and we will be incurring all costs to make sure this is taken care of." only to be followed up with an hour later by a different supervisor letting us know that person didn't know what they were talking about and they are sorry for the misinformation we received. Please do not use this company! They clearly do not train their employees well enough to be booking people's vacations correctly and more importantly do not stand behind their customers when an obvious mistake was made on their part! Guess we will try again for Spring Training 2017. See you then San Francisco Giants!

We originally booked a five night stay at a hotel in New York. A fraud agent with the company "accidentally" canceled the reservation. Long hold times. Rude customer service. Still no reservation, and no refund. Paid up $730 upfront.

The drop-down menu regarding country has many options, though many of these countries do not have ZIP/Postal Codes or provinces and does not allow your customer to complete the transaction due to incomplete, required fields in the billing address.

You might want to reconsider the airlines United Express you Partner with. They are very rude to their passengers in the Midland Odessa Airport. The Planes are very uncomfortable. Too small for 6 foot 5 inch person. They as well as you all got the last of my business. When we got to the condo we had to pay a cleaning fee of 200 dollars which I thought was not right. Who had ever heard of a 10 am checkout time when you had to pay 1 night. You. We not even there due to weather related issues. The beds were very uncomfortable for a 4 star hotel. The pillows were paper thin. You could not even get a coke or cup coffee. Nowhere in a 4 star hotel. Really.
The place to eat any food or drinks is a quarter mile away in a 4 star hotel. Really!! The whole experience with the trip that I hope to forget was terrible. I would never recommend BookIt to no one because you guys take your money. No changes have to take what get and on to the next person. You got me once but you will not get me again. Thanks for a wonderful overpriced terrible airline and 4 star hotel which was a joke stay!!!

I have wanted to stay at the NOW amber for quite some time. Your deal of the day made it happen for me. Also, the flight connections are not super on the return because of the long wait in Dallas, but really customs does take quite some time, but not that much time. I was so excited about getting the Now Amber I forgot to see about changing my return flight to make it a little shorter. I hope to take another beach trip outside of the US in May or June, and hopefully I can book it with you.

I called in two Fridays ago after booking my trip at noon on Friday. The agent told me I had 12 hrs to call in a correction, at that time I knew I did. I had a correction on my friend's name according to the passport. I spent two hours on the phone with BookIt that Friday night. First agent told me she had to cancel my flight and I would have to buy flights again, then told I had to go through American Airlines...I called them, they said the third party had to correct it. So I called back to BookIt...one more time they tried to get into my account and change the name and told I had to cancel flight. I was switched to 2 more agents and finally one girl in 3 minutes was able to change the name so it would agree with the passport.
I've booked trips through BookIt and other travel companies to Cancun for 8 yrs now and made my first mistake and it was big, as I didn't want to spend my Friday night on the phone. But luckily it was corrected. But funny on the recording to select a department, there is a choice to change names on bookings, yet many of the agents had no idea how to do this. I was panicked for a moment after told I was going to have to purchase another flight for $450. I think maybe hold a refresher course in training, or have an IT department that specializes in changing the names on the booking accounts...thanks.

At first, the agent took my call did not add children number. So, I tried to modify online. Modifying the reservation created additional reservation. I try to cancel the additional reservation add $25 charge. Now, I need to call in. I am waiting more than 30 min and no answer. The repeat waiting message keep saying $25 manual processing fee. This is ridiculous.

I made reservations last night and when I was making the arrangements I tried to book my payments in increments. It said $5 down and first payment on April 1st. I thought that is what I had done but instead it billed me the full amount and I was charged five dollars twice, which now does not show up in your system. I can't cancel the reservation without losing one nights lodging and your company is not able to put me on payments. I did this to save money and it has cost me $35 for overdrawing my account and over an hour of my time trying to straighten this all out. Needless to say I am very disappointed in your service.

I loved the myrtle beach experience and being able to share that with my family was even more satisfying. However, I felt like there should have been a notice telling whomever booked the resort that the water park would not be open until next month. Because that was the reason why I booked it there. Also, they gave me a partial ocean view when I had paid for a oceanfront view. I didn't complain because the rooms were beautiful even though I didn't get the oceanfront view. The staff and everyone was as friendly as ever and I was satisfied with it overall.

When I called it took at least 35-40 minutes to talk to someone. The lady seemed to hate her job and acted as if I was bothering her. I was put on hold for over 20 minutes, not exaggerating and then I was disconnected. I did not get a resolution to my problem so I just sucked it up. Later I called again and it took a good 15-20 minutes for someone to answer. This person seemed really nice but was clueless as can be. It was really nice to get a good deal but if you want to change a date or add an extra day to my reservation, forget it. It's like you better be sure you're paying for what you want because otherwise you're screwed. I just didn't have a pleasant experience and next time I travel, which will be in July, I will be skipping BookIt entirely.

Within 30 minutes of booking my room with this site I found the same room on a competitor's site for $81 less. I called customer care to use their price guarantee. I was left on hold for a very long time by the rep and then he told me they would not do anything for me. I figured well I can cancel it and book on the other site to save money but they tacked on fees for canceling on top of a mandatory 1-day full payment penalty. All this within 30 minutes of booking. Their lowest rate promise is a complete lie. Will never do business with this company again, am going to post more reviews online and will make sure I tell everyone I can about how terrible BookIt.com is.

Comments: Ok... By far THE ABSOLUTE WORST service I've ever had with an online travel agency. I don't even know where to start... By the end of my vacation I ended paying an extra $750.00 US, plus they charged me $50.00 US just for speaking to them to try and resolve an issues while I was on vacation. I know it's their job day in and day out, but not to someone care enough to return my phone calls, straight up lie to me while knowing we were stranded in another country, is beyond me. I work hard all year long to be able to take my yearly vacation, I take time off work, the least this company could do is to care and not treat me like I'm just another problem. I'd never recommend this company to my family, friends or just in general.
I ended up getting engaged on this trip and it's so unfortunate on that day I had to spend 3 hrs. on the phone with them trying to sort out a mess that I was "misinformed" by another operator which in result, we ended up have to pay $375.00 US at the end of the day. It was truly upsetting and really took away some special moments of our vacation. Very sad. This was only one incident. Problems started on our first day before we boarded our flight. In total we had to speak with them on 4 different occasions. Beware when booking your vacation with this company.

The hotel was wonderful. Really made for couples not single men or women. The restaurants were ok. The shows were excellent. BookIt was great. Spirit Airlines was a pain in the rear. I will NEVER fly with them again! Always taking off late then when we got to the gates we had 45 minute delays to disembark! Not good for connecting flights! They are ridiculous! I will never ever fly with them again. Everyone on the planes felt the same way!

The first representative I talked to was ok, did not really pay attention to my flight request. I am traveling with two kids and she tried to book me a red-eye from Mexico to Boston with a 14 hr layover in Mexico City. Then she called in sick the next day. I need to start over again with a new rep. When we finally booked the vacation package she did not input credit card info correctly so we needed to call my bank to determine the problem. After a hour and 45 minute phone call is was booked. When I received confirmation the hotel was not on the beach as I requested. Now I'm in the process of trying to change my reservation. Very frustrating.

I booked a hotel/flight package through BookIt.com on 3/9/2016 to Cancun, Mexico. Upon receiving my booking confirmation minutes later, I noticed the flight was not included in the booking. I immediately called to inquire why that was the case and I was informed that no flight came through on the transaction. I asked why that was the case and Brittany from BookIt.com advised that I did not select a flight. I immediately went back on their site along with Brittany and we were both able to recreate the rate which included both the flight and hotel. The representative attempted to reach out to the resort (Secrets Silversands) but instructed me to call back because the resort was not available.
I called back the next day (3/10/16) and was again informed that I did not select a flight. I reiterated to the CSR that I did and to review the notes on my account. We also re-quoted the same booking and again were able to recreate the rate. The CSR reached out to the resort but they were unable to allow the stay to be rebooked. She indicated the only option would be to pay another $712 to purchase the flight separately or cancel with no refund. I requested to speak with a manager who indicated they would look into the issue.
The next day (3/11/16) I received a phone call and an email from Tiffanie at BookIt.com. I returned her call immediately but received no callback. I called BookIt.com again and they stated the only options were to book a flight at an additional charge or cancel the reservation with no refund. I advised that I have print screens and am still able to recreate the booking I originally purchased; however, BookIt.com has been unresponsive to my requests to fix the issue.
BookIt.com has been very disappointing to work with. There was an issue; however, they have been unwilling to fix it or refund my money. They currently have my funds and I am waiting to hear back from them to determine whether or not I should rebook with another company. I cannot trust them and there is no sense of urgency to address a customer's issues.

I was really apprehensive about calling in to make this reservation. I wanted to do it online, however for some reason I was unable to. Well, I get probably the BEST representative BOOKIt.com has. She was very helpful. Got the information I needed and I was going to have to call her back. Called back and left her a message. As soon as she got in that morning, she called me. Fifty five minutes later and I booked our trip. We ran into a small problem while booking and she stayed on the phone and got me through it all. I have never felt more confident about booking a reservation. She made sure every name was spelled correct, went over every detail and the most important she had the best customer service. Agent told me sale was ending at midnight and guaranteed that the price would go up if I did not book. Next day sale ended and price dropped??? I called in asking if I could price match but because it was outside of 24 hours (26 hours) they could not price match. As much as the deals and payment plans are awesome, it was offsetted with the fact when I needed to speak to someone I can never get through. I tried countless times since yesterday to contact someone about my name being spelled wrong til finally I contacted the airline. Just a bit frustrating.

Website layout was convenient, the user interface was excellent. Overall a relatively enjoyable transaction. BUT after paying and filling out the entire process, my wife had a gut feeling to call American to verify our daughter was on the itinerary and sure enough, there was a glitch in the website and our daughter was not added. That was almost a huge headache. That we only avoided solely because my wife followed her instinct. Please, if you (BookIt.com) read this, look into fixing that. 3/5 only because I feel that's a significant problem and should be taken seriously.

I booked a weekend in Vegas, tried to modify my booking after realizing I made a mistake, but when I called the agent said they would charge me to cancel it so I can redo it and advised me to do it online for free. When I tried doing it online it kept saying it was non-existent and was just too difficult. I called back and the other agent couldn't help me either without charging a fee. I will not be booking through here again. Too frustrating!

I booked a two day reservation on Monday, 3/7, to arrive the same day. When I got to the hotel they said that had nothing from BookIt.com. Eventually, 3 hours later and 45 minute phone call later I was told by BookIt.com that reservations take 72 hours to confirm and that they will take 7-10 days to refund my money. When they made my reservation and took my money they could not actually fulfill the reservation.

I will never use this agency again. I had trouble from beginning to end. Calling customer service was ridiculous. I waited for 30 minutes just to speak to someone and she messed up my reservations. Another agent cancelled my transportation without my knowledge. I have been charged for things that I didn't approve.

A friend and I went to book the exact same room/hotel for an upcoming trip and followed the same method. The price I got was $50/night higher than what he got. Why? Same link, same hotel. Yet quite a bit higher. He then went back in on his phone and got the room at the lower rate for me as for some reason, I still could not access this lower rate. Fishy! I would be hesitant to use this site again.

Be careful using Book It - there are hidden fees. When you get to your hotel there are additional fees that are not included in Book It reservations. Once you find out about the fees and contact their customer service they want to charge you more fees. I could had went straight to the hotel and made reservations without the third party extra charges. Never again will I use BookIt for hotel reservations. I am one unhappy customer. :(
