I've been trying to book our vacation for a while, and I kept having issues with getting the flights I wanted. I was ready to book the flight and hotel separately, and then I found out about BookIt. This is so much easier than the other sites, and the prices are great!

You should post the resort fees as part of the cost. You book only to find out later there is a $25 resort fee added.

Not satisfied at all. I chose the 5 star romantic mystery one. After transaction was done it was a standard room for trump. I could have book directly for a cheaper price or even paid directly for an actual 5 star hotel. This was my first time and I'm truly unhappy.

I didn't read the fine print. I know the last company I booked with allowed you to cancel or change your reservation up to 4 days before the date. You allow no flexibility.

First time customer. Was not able to use my promo code. Representative who helped me schedule my vacation submitted it before taking the code. She rushed through the process and said there was no way she could go back in to add it. Was very upset.

Associate did what I ask and it took no more than 3 minutes at the max. It was a long wait time for somebody to answer the call. I was also not pleased with the online self customer service even though I listened to the pre-recording that I can sign in and hit modify... I couldn't.

As I am sitting on hold for hours now trying to get in touch with customer service after using your site for the first time I am truly upset that I did not stick with Priceline or Expedia. THEY answer the phone and talk to their customers! It was very simple for you to take my money but once I have an issue or need help I am sitting and waiting for hours to get through and told I will have a 25.00 fee. I am trying to follow the instructions in your email but if that does not match my problem, I may need to talk to your company. If you don't answer the phone you can't satisfy me. I truly don't think I will use your services again.

Sandcastle Myrtle Beach, SC - I am very pleased with recent experience with Bookit.com. I had an unfortunate situation and had to book same day. Bookit was very accommodating. I was able to book and check-in within the same hour. The Hotel was a little older but very clean.

English of this rep was poor. Took him too long and did not seem versed or train to work with clients. At Xmas I had an extremely bad experience to book trip to Dominican Republic. The guy (Albert), was very incompetent.

The process went fairly smoothly, except when the website had an error and I had to call BookIt with my error code. Instead of allowing me to call to confirm my error code and update and post my trip it caused me to completely rebook my entire trip. Otherwise, it had great prices and very easy to follow options.

I reserved a resort in Dominican Republic in error and had to cancel the reservation. I called BookIt at 10 PM and spoke with Desiree. Very courteously and quickly she canceled this reservation and said my credit card would be reimbursed within 7 to 10 days. It only took several days for my card to be credited. It took less than 10 minutes to complete this procedure. I then rebooked online my correct resort on BookIt with no problems. Thanks for the great service.

Wasn't able to book online. Had to call 866#. Rep had same issue. Rep had to book flight and hotel separately to make it work. Took a very long time. On phone over an hour. Quoted a lower price for flights than what appeared on the airline confirmation. By $2400! Called back and second rep said she would request a booking review. Already 3 days later and they haven't contacted me yet.

Tried to call in to call center because I was never sent confirmation on my reservations. Got cut off twice, then put on hold for over 25 minutes before I just hung up. Very poor service for call center.

Great price, and very easy to navigate the website. Gave us lots of options with numerous properties. We are coming in to Vegas early and wanted to stay at the MGM and this price was unreal. We're staying in Utah tonight for double that amount, so this will give us almost a dinner free.

Very upset with this company. It was my first time using this website to book a hotel. I was charged $155.69 the following day and no one could tell my why I was charged that. So I canceled my reservation and was charged $25 fee for doing so. I feel like I got robbed of my money. Never again will I use this website to book a flight or a hotel nor would I recommend it to anyone.

This year is my 20th wedding anniversary so I want to take my wife somewhere nice but I wanted a fair price. After much research we settled on Cancun. The wait for a representative was too long. I've called 3 times and had the same experience: at least 45 minute wait. I was on the phone over an hour and a half yesterday. The representative was very nice and helpful, but the wait was unacceptable. I'm considering going with someone else next year.

I have been trying to call back today as I have to hold for 30 min to get a representative. I called yesterday after being on hold for 40 min. I explained that an error came through but my PayPal was charged. I was assured that no transaction took place so I booked over the phone. This morning I notice I WAS charged both and now I'm on hold again. I have never had this problem booking a hotel anywhere else and now I can't get through to get my refund.

We called looking for a specific room (34) in the pictures. Told the girl we wanted the swim up room a number of times. When we got the email confirmation it was not what we wanted and then we were told by someone else that the recording of the call didn't specify that at all. And we know it did. Very disappointed with her service. This is not the first time a rep. from BookIt has messed up something we have booked.

Your website did not disclose the resort fee until after I completed my credit card info. The next page gives the confirmation of the purchase. This page is where you mention the resort fee of 107.52. At this point I cannot cancel unless I pay a $25.00 fee. This is all very upsetting.

When booking my hotel it was clearly stated that the cancellation was free before a certain date. As I decided to cancel my stay at the resort, I was met with a $25 cancellation fee. I find that this is a terrible way to conduct business. I was unable to get in touch with anyone by phone as I was kept on hold for over 20 minutes each time I attempted to call. There are too many online booking sites to deal with this lack of customer service. I will shop elsewhere and dispute all charges by BookIt.com on my credit card.

We booked a flight and hotel combo package, thought we were getting a great deal. I logged on to BookIt a week later to confirm everything and saw that our flight had been canceled. I received no email or phone call notifying us of this. So I called BookIt, after waiting 40 minutes to talk to a customer service rep they were unsure of what had happened. We ended up booking our flight separately through the airline itself. Then four days before our departure date I once again logged on to BookIt to assure our hotel reservation was still confirmed when I saw that our hotel reservation was canceled. Again no calls or emails received from BookIt notifying me of the cancellation.
This time it took an hour and 6 minutes to talk with a customer service rep. They said that the payment was not received, (couldnt tell me why) and that the reservation was canceled and could not be opened up again but that they would be happy to re-book us with the same hotel but that unfortunately the costs had gone up a total of 600$. I explained to them the terrible experience that we had had with them, not receiving notifications of the cancellations and that we wanted to be re booked but for the same price that we were originally quoted, and they apologized but stated that they were unable to do anything for us.
I asked if they had any coupons or vouchers they could give us in return for everything we had gone through and again we were told they couldn't do that. In the long run we had to re book our hotel costing each additional person another 300$. Worst experience ever, would not recommend them to anyone, and will be never using them again. Absolutely TERRIBLE!!!

I didn't get a confirmation # after I submitted my booking, rather it just threw up an error! This caused me to panic not knowing if I just got scammed, ripped off or what! I am still waiting for confirmation yet the money is gone from my bank account!

My daughter was using my phone, browsing to plan a trip for myself and husband for 5 years anniversary. Unfortunately she thought she was booking a trip in another state and now we are stuck to go to lake George. It would've been nice if there was no penalty for cancelling a trip with this site. I'm not happy with these terms with this site. No good at all.

While purchasing our vacation package through BookIt.com, we were not given an opportunity to reserve seats on our flights. Now Bookit tells us it cannot pick our seats for us and to contact American Airlines directly - American Airlines then wants to charge $25.00/person to do it for us since we used a third party to book our tickets!! The cancellation fees were very confusing. I had to cancel within minutes after booking because the wrong dates were in the confirmation notice. I asked for June and received April. The booking agent told me there were 3 efforts to confirm, which I never saw. Also, it was very confusing regarding the cancellation fee. It was supposed to be $25 and she described a $53 cancellation fee.

Really upset with BookIt. After their system cancelled my flights and charged me $300 in cancellation fees they refused to reinstate or refund me. After also speaking to Spirit Airlines they sent me back to BookIt. I stood on hold for 3 hrs being transferred from person to person till I was fed up. I even sent an email their system sent me saying nothing about cancelled flights until I checked my booking. Beware. I'll never use BookIt again.

I understand there is a high volume of calls coming in but there should also be a approx. wait time give. I was on the phone for 45 min before someone picked up the phone. Also as a courtesy for outside states of FL a time of operations should be give. I always book flights with you guys and I love it! But the customer service phones either need more people or as I stated a wait time.

When I booked my hotel reservation I specifically put in 3 people (2 adults and 1 child - 16 yrs). When I got the confirmation it only said for 2 people. I hope this is not going to cause me any problems at the hotel.

30 of my family members go on a trip every year and book through BookIt.com This time I was very disappointed and will hesitate to book through them again. I was getting questions answers through what I thought was a sales person. I asked her if I could call her back after talking everything through with my husband. She told me she would just email me and her direct number would be on there.
A half hour later I received an email with no direct line. So I called Book It again, they transferred me to the sales person I was talking to and she told me she would call me back. After a few hours of no response, I called back. This time they would not transfer me because they said this person was a Customer Service Rep and not a Salesperson. That rep had told me that my pricing would not go up until midnight. So after talking with another person, the price had jumped over $300 and they would not honor what the Rep had told me.
I would never have had to have a price increase if the lady would have called me back like she had said. If I knew the price would increase, I would have booked earlier but waited because I thought I was going to get a return phone call. Very disappointing that they don't try to make things right with someone who has booked with them before, especially when there are 30 people booking through them.

I was unable to cancel my booking online, so I had to call and sit on hold for over 5 minutes. Although the email stated that there was no cancellation fee if I canceled before March 29, I still was charged $25. This was extremely disappointing and I will not use BookIt.com again.

We booked a hotel room at Rio Las Vegas using Trivago and they pointed to this site (BookIt.com). We got the rooms for $127 per night for 4 days. On their site, they posted that they guarantee the lowest rate so we used their service with confidence. Big mistake! What they didn't tell you was the low price guarantee was only good for 24 hours!!! I checked Trivago again the following day and found another site had the same room for only $69 a night (bestday.com)! When I called them up, they were being technical about me being 6 hours past my 24 hour guarantee so they refuse to do anything about it. To add insults to injuries they failed to disclose the additional resort fee of $32.50 per night at the Rio! It brought our hotel room price to $159.50 per night. Their competitor Bestday.com discloses ALL the fees right on their site so you know exactly what your total cost will be.
I am a firm believer that every business is entitled to make a profit. It's the tactic in which this company makes. Its profit is very MISLEADING and UNETHICAL. I am totally disappointed and would never trust doing business with this company again. Think about it. You are planning your vacation to have a good time and you entrust sites like this to have full disclosures so you know upfront what you are paying. The last thing you need is to scrutinize all the technical and misleading hidden fees associated with your vacation stay.

Have already recommended this site to 4 other friends. Everything was thought out, the site included things you wouldn't necessarily think about, like the shuttle from airport to hotel. I am somewhat shocked BookIt.com asked for my feedback considering my experience. I booked a 7n all inclusive family vacation for 3 in September 2015 for travel on March 16, 2016 to Riu Naiboa, Punta Cana. 24 days before departure I called BookIt to arrange airport transfers and after about 4 hours on the phone/hold was told the Riu wasn't going to honor my stay and my choices were to pay 808.33 more for a lower star rated hotel, stay in a hotel that wasn't all inclusive, or refund me 458$ of my 2400$ purchase and book a hotel directly. We considering I booked the trip 6 months ago and now we are 3 weeks out and it's spring break, that's not going to work.
Over the next 5 days I spent approximately 9 hours on the phone with at least 5 different managers and 6 different call center employees. The customer service was completely unacceptable. However everyone I spoke to was as polite as could be even as my frustration grew and at times I was not able to control my emotions. I literally called Kristen ** 100 times over those 5 days, which is who I was told was the highest manager, and left numerous messages but never once spoke to her, only people in her behalf, but was told she was in the office. The runaround was unbelievable and unbearable. I was given fake extensions, promised return calls that I never received. It was 5 days of hell and ruined all the anticipation and excitement of vacation countdown that is part of it, even considered just not even going because it left such a bad taste, but was never offered a full refund.
I fully believe after reading reviews from other BookIt.com customers that had I not called them we could have been in a foreign country with no place to stay because it happened to people. Or found out 7 days before departure. But when I spoke to contact center they said they hadn't been doing business with Riu since January, yet still hadn't contacted me, and at that time according to their website I could still book Riu Naiboa, Punta Cana for same days I was supposed to go.
After 4 days of dealing with this and getting nowhere I felt no choice but to take charge. I contacted my local news, a lawyer to see what my rights were, and fired off about 20 emails to owners, vice president, and anyone else who works for BookIt.com I could find and said if problem wasn't resolved by 5th day I will contact bbb and Florida attorney general's office. I was understanding of the Riu relationship problems and the issue for me wasn't that we couldn't stay at Riu, I was ok with moving hotels. My issue was BookIt.com wasn't going to make it right. I only wanted what I booked and paid for 6 months ago. An equally rated all inclusive hotel on Bavaro Beach at no additional cost to me.
On day 5 I did receive a call from Karson who was a pleasure. And after having to basically threaten BookIt.com he told me they were moving us to Memories Splash, Punta Cana at no additional cost to me. He also said Riu Naiboa wasn't beachfront and Memories Splash was (it was not by the way). However besides that fact we were very happy at Memories and did end up having a great time there. It was just unacceptable to me the torture I went through beforehand to get what I was promised in good faith by BookIt.com 6 months earlier.

Over 10 days later and continuous calls to bookit.com and to the resort we still do not have a confirmation number for our hotel. One of the agents at the actual hotel is trying to assist us to see what went wrong. Spent almost daily calls over an hour each with a bookit.com agent and they kept telling me that they could not do anything. Very disappointing and there was no manager to take my call. Will never use the service again!

We booked a flight on March 11th. That very same night, I called to CANCEL our flight. After 10 days and no refund, we call to find out that the flight was never cancelled. I am beyond livid. We are out over $1000 and to fix our trip, it's going to cost an additional $700. We were told that our situation is "under review" but who knows how long that could take... Weeks? Months? Every time we call, we sit on hold for over an hour. I have been in tears for the past 2 days over this. $1,000 WASTED on a mistake that wasn't even our fault.
I will continue to call every single day until this is resolved and we get our refund. This never should have even gotten this far. Here's a tip: hire competent, ENGLISH SPEAKING agents to handle your business. The woman who "mistakenly" didn't cancel our flight has single handedly ruined our summer. We are so upset and will never be using Bookit.com again.

I will not use Bookit again. After I confirmed the room I was told of all these extra charges the facility would be adding at check-in. Which basically doubled my fees. And a fee for cancelling no matter when I cancelled early late period. There should be no fee if I give plenty of notice on the cancellation. It was very unsatisfactory.

I called to verify the suite online was what I was looking for and was assured FOUR times it was by Shae. I requested a specific room because of my disability and was assured the special request was handled. I paid for it, received the confirmation email and it was the WRONG ROOM! I immediately called back in and explained and was told there were no rooms available at the location. I asked to Chantol to put a supervisor on the phone, she argued with me. I told her to look at the Best Western website because the room was available and after FIVE requests for a supervisor I was hung up on. Called back in. Explained to Avereal and was told no supervisor was available and was hung up on. Called back in again. Was told by Justien a supervisor was getting on the line, was hung up on. Again by David and then by someone who wouldn't give a name.
So I called back in to reservation and used the original mobile code and got Shae back on the phone. I explained everything and was told there was a glitch in the system and he would fix it. When he couldn't he said he would call Best Western. After 47 minutes of hold he said no one would answer, so while he was on the phone I called Best Western from my husband's phone and immediately spoke to Chris who assured NO ONE had called. I then gave Shae the # and as he "attempted" to call I sat there and talked to Chris, she put it on speaker phone so I could hear. After 20 minutes Shae got back on and said there was something wrong with Best Western's phone. I informed him I was still talking to Best Western so he attempted again. He actually did call and then got back on with me and told me I needed to speak to Guest services and was putting them on the line and actually put me through to a voicemail.
When I called back in everything for BookIt is now closed. So after FOUR HOURS nothing is resolved and I still don't have my room. NEVER AGAIN!!! I will be letting EVERYONE KNOW, review sites, twitter, FB! I have all my confirmation numbers and screen shots of the room, prices, etc. Oh and if I cancel with Best Western directly nothing is refundable. What kind of business are you running?!?

There was a computer error through the Bookit.com website that charged me for 3 rooms. I only received 1 email confirmation for a single room (only needed 1 room). Found out from Ballys I had 2 rooms under my name. After getting the runaround from Ballys they couldn't do anything for me. I called Bookit.com and was on hold for over an hour. The rep didn't fix the charges stating Ballys office had to be open. Upon calling discover, I found out my card had been charged 3 times. It was atrocious. On top of all that, my room at Ballys had blood stains on the curtains, wrappers under the night stand, and a lamp that didn't work. GROSS!

Prices were cheap, but customer service is not their main priority. I was connected with three different people in the reservation department after the second ring but still nobody has answered the phone after 30 minutes of being on hold with customer service to make a name change on the reservation so someone I'm meeting can check in the hotel we booked while I wait on my delayed flight. Last time I will use them.

Except for the awkward bathroom situation, the hotel was very good. Comfy bed with too many pillows and very convenient to everything. The building itself is quite interesting. If you have bad knees or can't climb stairs, request a room in the lower floor. Although they said it was not haunted, our pictures beg to differ.

I am very unsatisfied with how our trip went. I booked it on March 1st and I received an email stating the wrong date of arrival so I called them and they fixed it to the days we were flying in. Two weeks later we were getting ready to leave from chicago to orlando and I couldn't print out our reservation because there was no confirmation #. I called and the lady stated she was going to contact the hotel and make sure they had it. We left the next morning with my children and husband to arrive in Orlando at the hotel to find out we didn't have a hotel for that night but for tomorrow!! So as we sat there totally upset for 3 HOURS in the lobby I called Bookit to see what is going on and the guy I spoke with couldn't do anything for me but kept putting me on hold!
His phone kept on going in and out I couldn't understand a word he was saying and he wouldn't let me speak to anyone higher than him! I was on the phone for an hour with them stating that "you go and take my money but don't confirm my reservation!!" Then I was supposed to get 3 nights free after our stay as it was a promotional deal if I booked within 10 minutes and I have never received that either! So we sat there for 3 hours right off the plan with a 3 and 9 year old child and a very pissed off husband! Needless to say the manager of the hotel helped us out more than the people who we book it with! He ended up coming in on his day off and put us for one night in their villas for the night! I cant even call anyone at their website to complain because there is no one to speak to other than another agent! NEVER AGAIN!!!

This company is a SCAM. BUYER BEWARE! DO NOT BOOK TRAVEL THROUGH THIS SITE. They make themselves unavailable when you need to cancel or modify your reservations. They are a scam. Their agents are located overseas and cannot offer any assistance. I have a family emergency and need to cancel my travel and they will not allow you to do so online so you are forced to call them and they keep you on hold for up to an hour. I am currently experiencing this nightmare.

I found my dream vacation for a super price but when I booked it I received an email from REPLY@IAN.COM for a completely different booking confirmation on another island. I immediately canceled that one and verified that the one I wanted was still showing booked. I also verified my credit card was only charged once. Having never booked with this company, I gave it a try. Unfortunately, through my own human error, I booked the wrong date-- Mea culpa! However, when I tried to cancel, they wanted $25.00 even though it was 5 minutes later. Further, I wasn't able to cancel online so was stuck on hold for 10 minutes. Asking to change the dates rather than lose $25.00, I was informed I'd have to pay for the first booking ($74) AND the second ($150). Wow! Audacious. Never again. BAD business.

My husband and I have used Bookit several times without incident. The booking process has been very easy and have always received exactly what we reserved - all bookings were out of the country. I have trusted Bookit for now our 2nd group of 15! Only issue I had was when after spending over 12,000 on one booking they wanted to charge me $25 usd for a copy of the invoice which was an insult. I spent 30 minutes in the phone with the woman who originally booked my trip. She read everything back to me correctly, witness was in the room with me. I received my confirmation and everything was wrong. I called back and had to re-book my flights and spend out of pocket MORE than what I should have. First and last time booking with this company. The woman on the original call also didn't offer me any insurance, transportation, or activities. AWFUL!

Company advertises false hotel prices and over charges without clearly explaining the charges, even if you pick pay at hotel, credit card is charged. They also have 50 dollar cancellation fee that is nowhere to be found in clear print. I would stay away from this site.

I had booked my hotel for the wrong days accidentally. The lady that helped was very nice, professional, and helpful. She canceled and rebooked my hotel, was understanding and got the cancellation fees waived. Very happy and thankful!

BookIt.com definitely had the best prices for what we were looking for! I even tried to price out our honeymoon on our own and it still couldn't compare to the deals bookit has. I would definitely recommend the site to a friend and am really looking forward to our honeymoon! The site made everything so easy.

I had problems with attempting to book my trip online and use my Paypal Credit. I called in and the gentleman was VERY helpful and was able to make everything happen for me.

I was booking this travel on my cell phone and for some reason the changes wouldn't take or if I changed one thing then go to another item to change it it would change my previous changes. Also when I booked my transfer from the airport to the hotel, that wasn't applied so I have to redo that portion again. Also on the payment options, when reviewing the options, I could make 4 payments until it was paid off but my card was charged for the full amount.

This is my first time using this site and the prices are amazing. I booked my hotel and then decided to add a night. It would not let me do it online, then after 2 days of being on hold for over an hour each day, I finally got a representative to answer and tell me to book an additional night online. It was a waste of time and an unfriendly experience, again. I love the amazing offers!
