    Found my trip and flight then when I purchased system changed my flight to one I did not want. Contacted BookIt and they said I could cancel for a fee and rebook the flight I wanted but by then the price had went up 200.00, so to cancel and change 2 reservations was going to cost about 500.00. I did everything right when I booked my trip but system changed my flight. Now I have to meet my family 6 hrs late at destination plus a 7 hour layover in Dallas.

    I booked my trip to Mexico for Dec. in May so I could get the best flights/hotels, etc. It turns out WestJet changed their schedule and BookIt claims they sent an email notifying me of the change in July! I never received the email and only found out about the change this morning, less than 24 hours before leaving. At the very least I would have expected more than one email and/or contact to ensure the email was received. No one, not BookIt or WestJet, cares about the inconvenience this has caused me personally, and doesn't think any sort of compensation is necessary. Very disappointed. I have learned it doesn't pay to book early and absolutely no advantage to using BookIt. In fact there is less accountability using a 3rd party since they just blame one another when an issue arises.

    We bought tickets through BookIt.com for all-inclusive to Punta Conta Cana Dominican Republic. We arrived here on December 9. American Airlines lost our luggage. It is the end of day two of our 6 day vacation and I am wearing the same underwear I came in. I have no medication and no clothes... nothing. We still do not know where our baggage is. This is a horrible and emotional tragedy. My husband is a normal size and at least he was able to buy a pair shorts at the resort. I cannot. They tell me the nearest place to find anything to fit me is a 3 Hour Dr. away. Despite our constant contact and worry to American Airlines and to BookIt.com we still don't know where our luggage is.     She was extremely knowledgeable and over the top friendly. We were swayed to book when we did because of her! Honestly!!! We called once we received the information we needed about the resort and flights. We were two families traveling for the first time and we wanted to make sure we chose the perfect destination and resort. The resort we chose was not yet open yet so we needed to know the guarantees should it not be complete and she was extremely well versed and explained our options if something went wrong.

    Booked a trip paying $10 and future payments 4 hours ago but Hotel.com sent me an offer for $50 less for Grand Velas Resort in Playa Del Carmen 2/04-2/09 and they will not let me cancel or match the price. Call Hotels.com before you book with this Company. Do not believe the discounts. They are not the lowest cost. Never again and I travel frequently. The rates I am paying is 677 instead of 623.     After a terrible experience on my last trip with bookit.com, I encounter giving bookit.com another chance, why not right? I called customer service to book my trip. I was helped by Willie **. He gave me a very good deal and went for it. He was very helpful and talked English very well. The only problem is that after hanging up I realized I misspelled my last name by one letter, therefore I had to call again a couple times to get the airplane tickets fixed, the hotel portion fixed, and the car rental part fixed, asking to be transfer to one another one by one. At the end this other lady named Sara I think, was very helpful and was able to contact United Airlines to directly correct the misspelling and also told me the Hotel reservation name was also corrected. Everything seemed fine by that moment.

    After a couple of days after giving the down payment, and now about to give the 2nd stated payment on the pay delay program, I started wondering about why I haven't received a hotel confirmation... Eventually I called customer service and I was told to wait 2 more days for it. 2 days went by and no hotel reservation was sent to me. I decided to directly contact the hotel and they immediately responded saying that no reservation was made under my name for the dates provided and asked me to contact bookit.com in regard of the problem. I go ahead and called customer service again, asked why I still haven't received a hotel confirmation and the rude lady just couldn't help me at all and even started mocking me and told me I was on pay delay.

    Problem: If the reason I still haven't received a hotel confirmation number is because I am on pay delay, it would be legally correct you guys specify on the terms & conditions that as a customer on pay delay you will not see a hotel confirmation until you successfully complete the payment plan... I really don't want to get to that same situation as last year; getting to front desk and being told your booking agency didn't paid or made reservation is just the worst.

    This is my first time using BookIt and I was a bit apprehensive. I had quite a challenge - getting my four kids and friends all to Cancun at an all-inclusive for my 50th bday. No one had the same spring break - everyone was arriving on different days. Sometimes there were going to be two of us in one room, other days we needed two rooms with 7 people among them.     While booking on line there was an issue with the payment method that was being used. A confirmation # was provided and said that partial payment was made and a # given to call. I had to leave for work, called by I returned home and called the number provided. Customer service said that booking that was made in the morning time was no longer held. Customer service did say that they could help me but with a service fee of $25. The room/booking that I believed was originally held was no longer available. Reservation was to be booked for the royal club. Now my booking is for a standard ocean room.

    I called back, for a service fee customer service can look into the upgrade, at an additional charge for club level. My point is in the morning before I left for work my reference number I was given was **, which was for the flights and club level room. When I returned home from work and called, I no longer had the room, a pending charge was on the credit card, customer service said it was just pending and that no charges will be put through on that credit card. I had to rebook, and now I'm at the same hotel, same flights but both the room I wanted.

    The website repeatedly failed to take the final BookIt command with the same multiple error messages. I kept filling in the information it said was missing with the same dismal results. I finally gave up and called it in. I had to supply most of the same information again. The lady that handled it did a nice job, but overall your booking interface at the website was extremely poor in getting the job done. She did neglect to ask for frequent flyer information. I guess I got to go back in and update that. I also believe that the cost also went up a bit from where I started. I've used your service several times and the booking interface is the worst in the industry. You should focus on basic customer needs not selling a bunch of add-ons to jack up the price. Information entered should be saved not re-entered multiple times.

    I booked a vacation package through Bookit.com. My vacation package was for an "ocean view" room at an all-inclusive resort and flight for two people. On arrival at the resort, I had a problem because the room I was assigned had no ocean view. The resort categorized the room as an ocean view room, but the view was blocked by trees. So, instead of an ocean view, I got a "jungle" view. I contacted the front desk at the resort to request a room change. They told me to come back in two days and they would have a better room for me. I came back to them as I was told, but they did not have a room on that day either. I was again told by the resort to come back the next day, which would be the fourth day of our trip.

    I came back on the fourth day, they showed me a room in a different building on the same floor as the room I had with tree view. I was very disappointed, because half of my stay had gone by and I'm not getting what I paid for. I requested that the resort moved me to a garden view room and give me a refund for the difference. But they said since I used Bookit.com as my travel agency, I need to contact Bookit and they cannot give me a refund. I called Bookit from the resort, which is in another country while on vacation to have them help me with the situation. At that point, I felt like I'm being ripped off in another country and needing help from Bookit. However, Bookit.com failed me. Bookit.com's agent told me that "Bookit.com is bounded by what the resort advised."

    I asked the Bookit agent if I can downgrade to a garden view room and she said there would be a fee involved in order to do that. I was so upset. I felt like I'm being ripped off and pushed around with no help. I called Bookit a second time and spoke to another agent, the agent told me I have to wait til when my trip is over and deal with this later when I get back to the States. I had no choice but to come back to front desk to request another room change. On the fifth day of my trip, they finally gave me a room on the fourth floor with a view of the ocean. I thought that travel agency should be the voice of customers and should help their customers in situations like this. But, it did not happen.

    I called Bookit.com again after I got home to see if I can request a partial refund for those nights that I was in the jungle view room. However, a Bookit agent told me to contact the resort on my own and request a refund from them. The resort I was at did not have a reservation department on site and I was told by the front desk to contact Bookit and ask Bookit to contact their reservation department for a refund. The resort will not give me a partial refund since I used a travel agency. Now, Bookit told me to contact the resort on my own, which would go nowhere since they did not want to deal with me in the first place when I was there. I've never have this experience at a resort before or any experience like this with a travel agency. I will stay away from Bookit.com forever and ever...

I gave me a phone number to call, but the person taking the call said she had no idea what I was talking about and I had no booking. I read her the message on the screen over and over without any luck getting her to understand. I asked to speak with her supervisor and was put on endless hold. I gave up and then got an email with another number to call. The person taking that call was very helpful and got the trip booked.     After booking a flight and hotel package for my husband and me in April, I logged in to check on our flight about two months ago and saw a note saying I needed to contact BookIt.com because there was an issue with our flight. I called and was told that my card must have been declined because the flight was never booked. The representative then asked if I would like to rebook the flight since it didn't go through. Luckily I didn't or I would have paid for 2 flights to Cancun. I knew the card wasn't declined because I had been charged for the entire trip.

    After multiple phone calls we were refunded for the flight portion of the trip. As compensation, the rep offered us a $50 off a hotel stay coupon. She gave me the code and told me if I logged into my account there would be a link directing me how to use the coupon code. There is never a link in my account to use the coupon code, nor is there a place to enter a coupon code when I tried to book a reservation online. I called to see if it could be done over the phone. Five phone calls later, I gathered enough information to understand that I must have been given an unusable coupon code to make us feel better about the error (it did not).

    I told them since they were unhelpful, I wanted to cancel our Cancun hotel. She could not find my reservation anyway, even when I had the information pulled up on my credit card statement and on the BookIt.com website. She said there was no way for her to refund it because she couldn't find it. When I asked for her supervisor, she hung up on me. I was able to cancel online but the runaround and misinformation means I will never use BookIt.com again.

    I booked an all inclusive travel plan to Marina El Cid Spa and Beach Resort on 10/9/16. On 10/10/16 I called Bookit Customer Service to explain that my travel companion did not have a valid passport. I asked if I could extend the dates and not cancel the hotel and reschedule the flight for 8 weeks. I guess the word reschedule did not make a difference... I was charged for a cancellation fee of $500.23 and $25.00 for rebooking with a agent. I think this fee is grossly unfair, since I did not intend on a cancellation, only rebook the original dates so I could comply with international law and she would be ALLOWED in Mexico.

    My companion apply for the passport and by paying additional fees was able to expedite the issuance of a passport. I also have Capital One Venture Card I could have arranged that my miles be used for this travel. If I would have known that your agents play hardball on the phone with customers. I will never book a trip with Bookit, unless this issue is resolved.

We contacted the company when we came home but they totally ignored us.

    I have tried BookIt.com a couple of times and found them to be extremely unreliable bordering to an online scam. We paid BookIt.com in full. At the Hotel we were told that BookIt.com had not paid the Hotel. After numerous, costly phone calls we never got a resolution. Most calls were not answered by BookIt.com.     Bookit.com had some good deals, but I was having a harder time navigating the flight options for trips. I had decided to go to the Dominican Republic to a new resort that was opening there. The website did not allow me to filter the flights very well to specific airports, I could only narrow it down to DC area airports. Upon calling a representative, they were very helpful in providing me with options that matched my needs and to help me book my trip. The only questions they could not answer was if I booked using an airline miles card, if I would receive the perks or not. (E.g. If I paid with Delta American Express for a trip that had Delta, flights, would I receive the perks such as priority boarding and free bags.) Otherwise everything was great!

    Also, tickets purchased through Bookit.com are bulk tickets and as such do not have a fare class associated with them so generally, the only way if you wanted an upgrade later, is with status or to pay with miles from the lower level ticket that the airline offers. E.g. American Airlines you can use miles plus a fee but could not purchase an upgrade with cash only.

We were a group of 4 couples, went to book at the same time, and NONE OF US got the same air fare. 3 of us had to call and use call center because we would select flights on the web, hit continue, and everything would change... And even then, while on the phone, we all got different fares on the same flights and packages. Were told fares change by the minute, which is not true. I book travel for my family all the time, daily sometimes it fluctuates, by the minute no way. After this experience, I highly doubt I would tell anyone to use a site that can within 5 minutes of booking one, another can cost 250.00 more! Very dissatisfied customer.

    I would never use you guys service again and I am telling all of my family members not to use you guys again as well. I booked a trip on August 2/2016 and paid in full, and you guys call me yesterday less than 48 when it was time for me to depart on my flight and tell me that you guys made a glitch and I can't stay at the hotel that I booked. I spoke with someone on September 6/2016 and she told me about the glitch that you guys made. We were on the phone for 2 1/2 hours.     I booked a resort thru Bookit.com I had to cancel the reservation less than 24 hrs after booking and then I found out I was able to go. I attempted to reinstate my reservation but was told since I did it thru the computer and not a live person I would only be able to rebook the same package but at the increased rate and my $50 cancellation fee would stand. I was told there was no discounts or coupons that could be offered to me in order to get credit for the cancellation. The answer I received was nothing could be done so I ended up paying an additional $78 for the same trip. Not happy at all. I could have used that money for my airport transfers.

    I specifically told the reservationist that I wanted to make sure my booking for 3 rooms/flights for 5 for Mexico package at Villa Del Palmar was the "all inclusive" option. She confirmed and at the price quoted. Your confirmation email is very deceptive and unclear. It reads "Villa Del Palmar Los Cabos with Optional All -Inclusive", so I assumed again that is what I had booked. Then, when I told more friends to come and book it thru you, they told me the all inclusive was $250 more... Which caused me to call today and in fact, new person on phone confirmed I DID NOT have "all inclusive" option!

    I understand that my call with original reservationist is being "reviewed" which is good because you will hear that I specifically asked her about this to make sure was "all inclusive". I have told the other 4 people the price is $950 per person and I sincerely believe that is the price I should be given since that is why I used your company instead of another. Thank you.

    After a full two weeks, your company has taken my money but offered nothing more than a BookIt confirmation code. We have received a runaround from every phone call and although the staff has been helpful, they end every single (I mean it) every single call with "Well, just try again in a few days." Follow-up is vague, and even a couple managers have been involved.

    However, my complete and astonished frustration is that although every agent is unable to reach our hotel, we were able to call, from our cell phones, another country and talked to not only the front desk, but also the hotel's headquarters. The hotel says they are waiting on your manifest, and you are saying you can't get a hold of the hotel. I've sent an email and am more than happy to connect with another person. I simply ask for help and expect a resolution, or this will have to be something that is escalated to a legal matter. Please, please help me find a solution.

    Lots going on in the website. When I finally got to the end of the payment option I got an error and had to call a number to complete my transaction. I forgot to put the code for $100 off. Called and they said I would have to cancel and redo transaction. And it may or not be same charge now. I asked if I could get a voucher to use at the hotel they said no. So I just got frustrated and said leave it as is. Not good business when someone is spending $2,400.

    Booking with another couple has never been a problem. Understanding that with flying from different airports separate reservations needed to be made. To ensure dates/hotels etc lined up one of us booked on the live site while the other spoke to an agent directly. (Minutes apart) The other couple were not giving a confirmation but their credit card was charged. The agent explained there was a "system update" and they would call them back once everything went through.

    Upon calling back almost 4 hours later the agent explained that the rate and flights were no longer available since it was a live site. At which they refunded the amount charge to the credit card. Which sounds like it would be great except that our half of reservation would not be refunded or cancelled because we agreed to the terms of agreement with the site upon booking. We are now stuck with a reservation that cannot be cancelled and unable to travel with the party we were trying to make reservations with. This all came to be after we followed the instructions from one of your "travel experts".

    On 11-3-2016, I attempted to book our 25th Anniversary vacation with Anita. After two failed attempts, she assured me that neither of the transactions had been processed due to error codes. We agreed that I would call my bank first thing on 11-4-2016. To my surprise a transaction for the flights had been processed. I called BookIt right away. An agent said that apparently the issue was with my credit card but that the flights HAD BEEN BOOKED!! I proceeded to complete my vacation package and was told that I would not be receiving the $75 discount that I was previously receiving due to it being offered only on Monday and it was now Tuesday.

    I informed the agent that my budget was $1500 and he agreed to give me a $50 coupon. The total was still over $1500. I only went forward with the process due to the fact that I already had flights but no hotel!! My experience with the agents was Great. It was the actual process of the flights still being booked but no hotel. I understand that the problem was with my card but don't understand how the process couldn't be stopped after I was guaranteed it had not gone through.

    BookIt falsely advertised a price for a hotel. Then after I booked thinking I was getting a great deal, I received a confirmation for a wildly more expensive rate. I immediately called to cancel the reservation. They told me that I would be charged the full rate, and then ANOTHER $35 on top! Only after realizing there was a 25 dollar fee to cancel, did I realize the other reservation had two Queens and pullout. Which is what I needed. Yours said 4 adults but did not say there was one queen in bedroom not 2. If you did not specifically say how many beds were in this unit, then I would ask you to cancel my reservation without charging.

    Hurricane Matthew was imminent and we rescheduled our trip to the soonest availability at the Jamaican resort. Change fees for airlines and hotel were waived for others who called Friday morning. We called Thursday night and had $600+ in fees charged plus we were charged a BookIt fee for calling about this and making the change. I was suppose to get a call about our request to waive these fees and I have not heard from BookIt. They said response would be within 24 hrs. but still nothing. I am hoping that BookIt will be fair about this in that if fees are waived for one due to the hurricane, they should be waived for all.
