My mother booked a girls' trip for us to go celebrate her recovery from brain cancer. She thought she was booking through the hotel but it was through BookIt.com. Shortly after she booked we found out her cancer was back and she was having seizures. We decided it would be best for her to stay close to her doctors. I called to cancel. I explained our situation. I knew from the confirmation email we received they would not reimburse the money. But we wanted to at least change the dates. They would not change dates. They would not credit money and for 2 nights it was $1900.00! They would not even change the name on the reservation so someone else could use it. My sister was on the phone for 3 hours with the hotel and finally was able to change the name. I would BEWARE of this company. I am a business owner and could not look at myself in the mirror if this was the customer service my team members gave.

The process was fast and easy. The wife is excited about our trip. The only thing that she did not like was the fact that pay delay did not come up. If this option was available it would have been an even better deal.

The agent Anitta was perfect. She managed to keep us calm, because we were so stressed trying to book the vacation for many hours. My husband was even crying and we were about to give it up. Never had a bad trip with BookIt. Great hotels, great time, no regrets here. Except I hate Spirit. Spirit has the highest fees, the dirtiest planes, the most expensive and they way overcharge other airlines have. The planes squeak like bad lawn mowers.

The hotel price increased between me putting in the personal info and booking the hotel. My credit card declined and I had to pay the higher fee. The price should be locked in and should not change between me inputting all of our names and picking out seats on a flight.

Sometimes when booking with air the issues you experienced may occur as flights are able to be booked by guests from all booking outlets. Because of everyone trying to book the same flight, class of seating will fill quickly and prices change quickly which can result in the issues you experienced. Had an issue with the credit card (my husband accidentally gave me the old number); when it didn't go through, I got a call from one of your agents (I believe his name was Drew?). He walked me through everything and confirmed the flight and hotel that we wanted, and was able to complete our booking after getting an updated card number. He was thorough but not pushy, and pleasant to work with. Only suggestion is to change your hold music... Dear Lord please change it. But seriously guys, thanks for the help, especially Drew!!

Our agent this morning was awesome. He was very knowledgeable and personable. We were on the phone with him for about 20 minutes this morning and got our entire trip booked. The first thing you do is pick your flight and then your hotel. After picking your hotel, BookIt.com switches the flight you originally agreed to to a cheaper flight without notifying you of the change. Once booked (with the flight you did NOT agree to) they try to charge you a cancellation fee. I personally do not recommend this company.

Easy to book a vacation at good prices. It has lower prices in comparison to other competitors. I would recommend using Bookit for other people due to ease of use. It was just a matter of pushing a few buttons and a few minutes to plan a family vacation.

I felt like the lady on the phone had an attitude the entire time when really I just wanted to receive the best deal for my hotel and be satisfied with the rate. Also I think your cancellation policy sucks. I didn't wanna cancel only modify and I was charged for that which is ridiculous.

We booked a trip to Ocean Maya Royale with friends for August 2017, back in Feb. One of our friends was unable to make the trip now (March) and I was afraid that money was lost, but I was able to re-book the trip and received a full refund their portion. I booked my traveling package to Hawaii back in August 2016, and traveled March 23, 2017 to Hawaii. I booked it with so much time in advance to get notified if any changes occurred. Everything went well until we get to the airport and they tell us our flight has been changed. I was so upset because I did not get notified from anyone. Therefore, I called American Airlines and they told me the flight was changed back in December and it was BookIt.com's responsibility to sent me a notification. We had nowhere to go as it was 10:00 pm and we had checked out of our hotel earlier on that day. I was so frustrated because I had caught a cold and was blasting with fever. So, there was no option for us to wait until the next flight at the airport.
We had no more cash because we had brought enough cash for our stay. We couldn't use Lyft because they're not allowed at the airport. Therefore, we called half a mile, so we can get a Lyft and everything started falling apart. I tried calling BookIt but they were closed. We had no choice but to book another night at a hotel which was 100.00+. I was shivering and my fever was blasting. We then got to our hotel and slept it off. I got up the next day and called BookIt to see if they would be willing to refund us with at least the hotel stay since they did not notify us of the change. The lady on the phone said it is my responsibility to check, therefore they were not able to do anything for me.
I was raging in anger since for the first time I tried red to book my trip with a third party and they were a deception. When I've booked directly with the airline, they always notify me of any change. BookIt did not only not notify me but is not taking any responsibility. I will NEVER use BookIt ever again! They told me it was my responsibility to check but when you click on the link to check your itinerary, the link does not work! This was a ** show! I don't wish this situation to no one ever. It was very stressful and trying to figure out where to stay when it's 10pm at night was a nightmare since hotels check ins are at 3pm usually. This was ridiculous! I will never use a third party again or at least BookIt.com.

I was very happy to find a US based agent to speak with. I hate talking to heavy accent (foreign) sounding agents like so many call centers these days. It is in fact a deal MAKER in who I select. Great price on a 5-day vacation (Cancun Trip) through BookIt with an added discount. Membership was free. Very easy site to navigate and book trip. The young lady that helped us was very sweet and helpful but she made a few mistakes and kept me on the phone for almost 2 hours. I told her it was for our honeymoon as well. I would think she would offer a complimentary upgrade or airport transportation for the long wait. She may have been new however I'm in customer service as well and this is the very first time I have waited so long on a call.

I find the booking interface to be very simple and user friendly. Once the reservation is finalized, the confirmation comes in very quickly. Compares very closely with Booking.com, which I also use. It appears that the properties you list are usually non-refundable.

We tried to book a party of 8 together online with a representative but it was a lot of trouble - after 2 hours on phone just hung up and decided to book online ourselves. We would have liked to book 4 groups of 2 so we could get the 100 discount but that didn't work so we paid more.

Good experience, best price on the internet, easy to book all inclusive beach vacation. I do wish they took American Express but outside of that 5 star experience. There were a variety of hotel and room options. Descriptions, pictures and reviews were all helpful and I was able to book airport transportation with my reservation which was a plus.

I can't say enough about Elizabeth who helped make our arrangements from BookIt. She was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. However, the difference in price from first being quoted (and to watching the price) to when we booked a couple hours later changed tremendously! I have never seen this much of a change before and it was very disappointing. We realize the price can change, but in the amount it did was ridiculous. It was brought up it could be because of the airlines. That theory to us makes no sense because the other sister resorts did not change in price and we would fly into the same airport from the same origination. Overall I am very pleased with Elizabeth and her help. As for the price, pretty disappointed. May consider staying somewhere else.

Working with BookIt was FAST, EASY and painless... because I booked from Canada; I really appreciated the conversion calculator so I knew exactly what would be charged to my credit card. The only thing I would hesitate when dealing with BookIt is to really pay attention to the flight details as I realize I now have a 8 hour layover in the middle of the night. I found that Bookit.com had many options which were fairly priced and the website is very people friendly. The pricing was very good. This is my second time using Bookit.com for traveling. The first time we booked our vacation for Jamaica and this time for Vegas; both time it was seamless. I checked other sites but Bookit.com was the best for pricing and options especially the flight selects. I would recommend using Bookit.com when you are ready to travel.

I loved booking my honeymoon through BookIt.com. They gave me some great prices and took care of the flight, and the hotel. There was a little mix up with my travel buddies' name, and there was an error that came up at the time of purchase. But everything worked out and they made sure that I didn't double book when I tried to buy again, so they saved me a lot of time and trouble in that regard.

I am a huge fan of BookIt, but had trouble with an employee booking this trip. I contacted customer service, and the lady that I spoke with was extremely rude in her demeanor. I was attempting to get the "SAVE50" coupon applied to my trip and the employee stated that it wouldn't work on my trip because it was non-refundable but was not able to explain why. My trip met all the criteria for what the coupon said. The lady stated that the manager would honor the coupon but the employee was not able to give me the coupon code to apply it so I could book the trip myself.
The reason I wanted to book the trip myself rather than have an agent do it, is due to the fact that they are not able to add insurance to the trip while booking it, I'd have to pay for the trip without insurance then be transferred to the Travel Guard company to then be able to buy insurance. I then called Travel Guard to get a quote on what the insurance would be on my trip and it was more than what was quoted through the BookIt website. That is the reason I didn't want the employee to book my trip and then I get stuck with having to pay a higher insurance price.
After a couple hours of talking to BookIt employees and Travel Guard, I decided to just book it myself through the website and take the loss on the "SAVE50" coupon. I have never had any other trouble with this company, I've used them for my past 2 all inclusive trips, just had a bad experience with this one due to the attitude of the employees while I was kind and understanding and of course not being able to save some money.

BookIt has always been a website that I refer to when I am searching for vacations. Love the Rate calendar checker! I wish more websites came with that type of help. I only wish the filters I set would stay when the page reloads. The booking process is easy, straightforward and reliable. Very disappointed that I didn't receive my 100 dollar credit after talking to someone and them telling me where it would ask me to enter the promo code. After I did what they said and never got to enter the promo code I called and they said there is nothing they could do. Probably won't use the site again because of this. Bad customer service.

I was disappointed. I was excited to book, been looking for vacation for a while. Online didn't allow me to add my 100 discount so I called. Things were fine until I was sent the final paper work. My bf name was spelled incorrectly, her background sound of children and adults laughing, just noisy... Because of her error my card was charged twice. Now I'm waiting on my funds to be returned. I was upset and disappointed. Unpleasant feeling as a new customer. I was also charged 10.00 for canceling something that was her error.

I have went through BookIt before. Love their service. It makes everything so easy. I will always go through them for any and all travels. The only thing that has gone wrong is my car rental but that was my fault. I did not bring a good credit card so I cannot blame bookit. They did tell me to bring one.

Customer service is nonexistent. Can't call on the weekend, and then only on weekdays between 9-3. I did have a response from customer service, but the number they gave for me to call back would not allow me to do anything beside make a reservation, or update a reservation. I was given an extension to call, but that never was part of the 800 message. They "penalized" me for cancelling my reservation which is 10 weeks out. Then, if they canceled me via phone, there was ANOTHER $25.00 fee. What I bought was not what I got. BEWARE OF BOOKIT.COM.

I didn't feel the agent try to assist me in finding the best package. The worst part of the call there was very loud background conversations that disrupted my conversation several time, the agent was unhappy I had to have him repeat himself several time. I was frustrated with the entire call. After looking online today I found better deals.

We were so happy with the experience and price given! There is a few grievances AFTER the fact though: The flight communicated was not seen or given a fair enough warning it is an overnight flight. Wait time on the line to change the flight is ridiculous - 22 MINUTES - as is the price change. Airport transfers SHOULD be inclusive for a ALL INCLUSIVE PACKAGE. No bags booked with the flight? I still don't have confirmation on this nor can understand why not even 1 bag is allowed?!

So far BookIt.com has been great! I love being able to view all the options. I wish that it expanded the search a bit more but the deals are amazing and outside of a few detail issues its been easy and enjoyable. Being able to book flights for two separate people is a tad challenging. It would be great if they could depart and return from different airports. As it is, I have to drive 5 hours just to save myself having to make two separate bookings and only needing one room. In addition a lot of resorts show "all-inclusive" but they really are not. They only cover the room and flight. Most of us include gratuities and food in that description but the listings are very clear when you open them. Thank you allowing me to make great memories!

I was booking for my cousin's wedding and of course I had my credit card in hand as I expected that the total would come to more than $2,000, I saw the total and sighed, however as I was going to submit my info there was an option to PAY Delay. This means I only had to pay like 780 for today and get charged 3 other payments. I think this was super convenient.

Got the best price on a vacation package. I would recommend this site to family and friends. It was worthwhile finding this site. We had been searching for the best prices to vacation in Jamaica for six members of my family and BookIt.com had by far the best hotel prices and the most lowest airfares that didn't require a 10 to 12 hour delay in flight connection.

I used this service today because the price was superior. However, it was extremely frustrating because the site was not working and I ended up having to call and re-book everything over the phone. Specifically, the site kept saying there was an error when I tried to complete the reservation. The error message indicated that I was missing address information. I must have re-entered the address info 5-6 times in the required fields and triple checked. Nothing worked. I'm certain there was a bug in the process. Hope that's helpful...

Very Bad Experience: Customer service was having trouble communicating due to language barrier. (Can't speak English, hard to understand.) Also mistake were made with the booking for hotel. My online reservation didn't go through, I had to call customer service to get a confirmation.

I have to say that I was pleased in fact extremely pleased with the representative who assisted with my reservation. It was nice to speak to a human who sounded normal. I do not remember his name but he came across as authentic and kept me at ease with my reservation. The rep added an extra day on the trip and once I caught it while still on the phone with the rep after checking email for confirmation. She said she had to cancel the entire reservation and re-charge my card again as oppose to applying the funds to the new reservation. Also I had to wait 7 to 10 days to see credit and that I would lose out on my $10 deposit.

My bank blocked my final payments due to weariness of fraudulent activities due to repeat charges of the same amount so close in time. I called my bank to approve the charge then logged into my BookIt account to run payment. The system wouldn't allow me to pay in full. The only option was to add a new card or to change the date. I selected the same card and the same date then pressed save; there was never a second attempt to charge the card. At 10:30AM I received an email from a customer service rep stating that my charge had been declined and that a payment had to be made by COB. I replied to the email explaining why the card was declined and given permission to rerun the payment but I never received a response. After a few hours of not receiving an email response I tried to call into customer service but received an error message.
At 10:15 PM last night, I received an email stating that my trip had been canceled. I immediately responded to the email with a screenshot that I sent the rep but no response was sent. This morning I called into customer service and was told that my trip had been canceled and there was nothing that I could do because it was my fault that the payment didn't go through. After asking for a manager, the service rep finally put me on hold to see if the original resort still had my room. Unfortunately, they didn't. The rep told me that BookIt would accommodate me by allowing me to book another resort and nothing else. Once again I asked for a manager.
Finally, a manager came on and repeated everything that the rep stated. That it was my fault that the final charge wasn't processed and that I should've tried harder to get in contact with them. After explaining that I emailed a rep, providing the rep's full name, the manager informed me the rep never received the email. I asked for the manager's email so I could forward the email to her as well. Unfortunately, she stated that she didn't receive the email either. Attached are screenshots showing both emails. After constant back and forth the manager said my only option would be to book another resort and if there's a difference that I would have to pay for it. I asked how BookIt would accommodate me for this and I was frankly told they wouldn't.
I planned this trip for a birthday getaway with my girlfriend at a resort that was highly recommended by a friend. Due to the cancellation, I am now staying at a resort that I have no know knowledge of, in a lesser quality room. I planned to book a trip to Jamaica via BookIt in April for my girlfriend's birthday but I surely will not be supporting this company again.

Beautiful resort - El Dorado Casitas. We stayed in infinity pool room which is on second floor. Beautiful room, but two long sets of stairs. We both have bad legs and backs. Was a slow process for us to get up two flights of stairs. Talked concierge and he moved us to a lower walkout room. Had our own pool which connected to a lazy river. Was our 60 anniversary and by staying in the casitas we got complimentary dinner on the beach and breakfast in bed. Everyone was really friendly and helpful. Beach and grounds were beautiful but the resort is not for the handicap. Lots of stairs and steps, to the rooms and restaurants. We just took one stair at a time and we made it, but we used room service quite a lot and it was great. All in all, I would recommend this resort unless you are really handicapped.

Two couples purchase flights and all-inclusive without an issue. The web pages were easy on the eye and processed quickly. Additional info about the flights or location were easy to access and read. Processing and notifications were quick as well. Haven't really experienced anything smoother. Only objection is the price of their insurance to obtain a refund which we chose not to pay.

Extremely difficult to work with. There was a mistake made when booking our trip. It took 4 solid hours and 8 phone calls to book it, then resort, then book it. I finally demanded a supervisor. I was told one was not, and would not, be available to speak with me. Finally after 87 minutes on hold, I spoke to her. She looked at the email from hotel... Problem solved. It was ridiculous.

This is my first time I booked with Bookit and registered as a member. I am a travel agent for 32 years. I always booked with Expedia for clients and my own family. I booked with this agent. I on hold for almost 1 hrs , and it keep not processing due to the return flight. I have to give him six of our names over and over again. For 5 times I spell out our names. When he finally get the booking done and send me a copy, I was still on hold with him. I looked on my email and I told him, my first name FRANCE is wrong. My first name is Frances. Worse my husband last name is completely wrong. His last name is TAN. He told me it is his mistakes and he will fixed it and send me update. I waited till next day.
Next day, I call AA and nothing change. I know as a travel agent you have 24 hrs to void and fixed the name. He did not do anything to it and expect us to fly with my first name wrong and my husband last name completely. I have to called customer service and I waited another 1 hr to get someone on the line. The Ticket dept Mr ** answer the phone and told me I need to pay extra charges to change my husband name. I was very upset. I said, I gave the guy who booked to me 5x spelling my name. He admit it is his mistake and he said he fixed it but he never do it.
Then Mr ** said to hold on and will try to fixed it and he did it for my husband name. I said "you can void and change the name with no charge as I know as a travel agent. You have 24 hrs". He said he can do for my husband. For my first name short of an "s", he has to wait till it is not able to void and will fixed it Monday. At this moment my name is not fixed yet. I said "why don't you void my ticket and fixed my name". He said he can only do for my husband but I have to pay fare difference. He said it is only 1 "s" missing. I said why I have to pay fare difference when Bookit agent makes the mistake. He assure me Monday I will a e ticket with a correct name.
I am waiting and I am very upset. The agent who booked the reservation, I asked him many time, I said all our passport have middle name. He keep telling me I do not need middle name and refuse to take it. So if I have problem with the airline, Bookit is responsible. I never have a problem booking with Expedia agents for any tours, cruise, package at all for the last 8 years. I need my name to be fixed by Monday 3/13/17. Call to serves existing clients must be fast. Waiting 1 hrs to have someone to answer is NOT ACCEPTABLE. I do can say Mr ** who helping with my flight are very polite and doing his best to help me. So I wait to see if he fix my first name from FRANCE TO FRANCES by Monday as he promise. Thank you.

I had to change the dates of my booking by only 2 days due to an impending Nor'Easter with lots of snow. Changing the flights with no fees was so easy -- I had to deal with the airline directly. Changing through BookIt for the hotel took me almost 6 hours on the phone before I finally made the arrangements without losing money on "refundable" rooms. I was really disappointed and also really angry that it took up my entire day.

There was a mistake on my son's name while booking. Trying to change it was a nightmare! When you call they say they're closed unless you push the button that you're booking a trip - then they answer. I was on hold for hours!!! There isn't a supervisor available and they tried to say it's the airline's responsibility to fix it. NEVER AGAIN!

Well, I will say we got one of our choices for about half the cost of the other booking sites. For some reason cost was $10 more than the price listed when we paid but $10 is not worth complaining and I might have missed something. Some airlines flight were cheaper but they charged high fees for carry-ons so just be sure to look at the extra fees, etc. Otherwise very happy so far.

I checked my email reservation as I was on phone with BookIt and the wrong dates were put in. Now I am waiting for another call to make sure the dates are confirmed with the Moon Palace. I know mistakes happen but this is crazy just to add 2 more nights to my reservation. Plus the price is a huge jump from my initial package. We have used BookIt number of times but this time not too happy! Let's just hope my dates are adjusted as I already paid fee.

I was going to add luggage to my flights for our family vacation 30 days ahead of vacation. I had received 4 emails that directed to the website on flight changes, which were minor time changes since I booked in November. I called BookIt for my Frontier flight code, to add luggage to my flight. They told me that one of the flights on the return had been canceled and we had no flight back from our trip but could return 2 days later! They said we were emailed this notification. They said to call Frontier. I called Frontier and they said they emailed BookIt about the cancellation of flights. I had to cancel the flight with Frontier and find my own airfare to Cancun within 30 days of the trip! I thought this is why I booked with BookIt!
This could have been a complete disaster for my family if I had checked even later and not been able to find a flight or paid an even higher price for airfare. There was no email sent to me on a cancellation. I triple checked this. This is extremely poor service to leave a customer hanging on flights. Never again. I will book directly with airline. This was my second time using BookIt. The first time I had no problem.

Using this site was so easy to use. I had compared prices of other travel sites and this site offered the best prices, and the best airfare choices than the others. Descriptions are clear, lots of reviews to check. I do wish there were more room descriptions or choices to pick ocean view or garden view but that may be a hotel restriction. My family (7) of us with my parents booking a trip for 2 weeks all booked a family vacation with Bookit.com. In our vacation planning, I'm the only one who will be going as a single and not with a guest. I find it extremely unfair and disappointing that your site discriminates against singles. My entire family, because everyone is going with their spouse was able to take advantage of your $200 off 7 nights or more. Because I'm a single, it was a higher cost (which I understand) but to not be able to take advantage of the same discount is unfair and discriminatory. Discount codes do not work. Several times I tried to apply the discount code sent to me. Either there was no place to enter the code or it came up invalid. Even calling in and speaking to customer service did not help as they could not apply the code either. Very frustrating!

Bookit had the best deals over Orbitz and Expedia by over $100 a person. The only issue I see is I'm less than 24 hrs away from my trip and have not received confirmation or printable tickets or any emails for that matter. I'm sure it will be fine and worth the savings.

Booking was okay, but it's hard to believe that in a company in this day and age would charge $25.00 per person to cancel a reservation!!! Half an hour after booking and canceling, I was charged $50. These guidelines need to be revisited!

I've never had such an aggravating experience trying to book a flight. Customer service was horrendous and the manager I eventually spoke with couldn't have cared less about the problem. It seemed nothing went smooth and then I was expected to pay for mistakes on behalf of BookIt. (They misspelled one of the last names wrong and said there needed to be an investigation to determine if I'll be charged. I think I know the spelling of my mother last name.) I was incredulous. I'm still waiting for my refund which I was told will take 10 business days!!! Also was hit with a cancellation fee. Between my cancelled package and my girlfriend's cancelled package which was 4 people total, BookIt loses over $4000 for being petty and poorly run. I would never use this site and will recommend others not to as well. Two thumbs down.

I just had a long conversation about my modification of my stay in the resort. I like to switch 2 nights to 1 night in the same hotel. The guy cannot explain clearly at all. He promised that he is going to send me the confirmation about my switch from 2 nights to 1 night. Over the phone I confirmed with him many times that I supposed to have my fund of 301.50 to my credit card account. That should be original cost I paid for 2 night. USD807 minus new booking cost for 1 night USD480 minus modification fee $25 = USD301. I asked the guy to confirm it via email. I am requesting you send an official email to confirm my refund amount ASAP.

I booked the JW Marriott in Costa Rica with Bookit.com, 2 rooms for 8 nights. They sent me a confirmation. I booked my airfare accordingly. A week later they called to say the hotel will not acknowledge my reservation and that my confirmation that Bookit.com meant nothing and I no longer have ANY reservation. When I called the Marriott they said that they could not find my reservation and I should not have booked through a 3rd party. I have 12 days to find a new hotel. All they offered me was a refund in 7-10 days - not even immediately! Worst company EVER!

Booking trip was pretty much easy. One problem was that when I tried 3 times it wasn't going through. Explanation wasn't clear because it listed about 7 or 8 items that could be wrong. System you narrow it down to the specific problem so it would be easier to correct.

My friends all booked the same trip and I booked my trip one day later and there's a great price difference- $200 more. It was hard for all of us to book at one time so we had to do it on own. But your prices should stay a bit more consistent. It was frustrating to find out you had to pay more for the exact same trip.

I would have given a better star but... we have 8 people. We booked trip to Cancun at the Hard Rock and had used the Bookit.com delay pay to spread the cost over four months. The final payment was declined by our credit card company and we received an email from Bookit.com about this. We had until 9pm that night to get it paid. I called right away that morning to get the final payment paid. However that night we get an email stating our reservation had been canceled for nonpayment. The reservation was PAID IN FULL. I called to get this straighten out but the gentleman on phone didn't want to help, but stayed this would be forward to another department and we would be informed 24-48hrs. UNACCEPTABLE!
I called the next morning and nothing had been done and it was still canceled. The gal called the Hard Rock but there was no rooms (for our reservation and didn't offer an upgrade either) or they didn't want to help. Bookit.com did get us another hotel but we're not happy about it. Our trip with 8 people is over $22,000... that's no pocket change. I liked the website since we could book 8 people, but the end result is not a happy.

BookIt booked one room for me which turned into me having 2 upon arrival. I was not able to cancel it myself and had to be on the phone with them for over an hour. Not what I want to do with my first hour after travel all day. The hotel that showed pictures of a hot tub had none and was under construction the whole week. I like sitting by a pool to relax while they use saws behind me.

Overall nice to be able to book everything as a package and not have to search around. My only complaints are: 1. You don't have a way to compare selections side by side (maybe based on amenities). 2. You don't allow booking of two different type of rooms within a package. This is my second booking with BookIt.com. The first booking I did I receive an error code that referred me to call customer service. I called customer service and it took me an hour to reach the correct department. The problem was with the flights... It seem as if the computer allowed me to book a flight that was out. My second booking was OK but the first booking alone with being on hold for an hour was horrible.

When I booked my trip I was trying on different days and getting different prices which is expected. What I noticed when that was not expected was the charge of Taxes & Service Fees (See Below) was fluctuating for no rhyme or reason. I called and email for an explanation but went away feeling dissatisfied. I was told that I would have to pay $25 for a breakdown for something they charged me. I refused and they finally sent me a breakdown. They divided the 249.09 by 7 and that was the breakdown and to think they wanted to charge me $25 for that - unbelievable.
Now this is where I felt that BookIt.com was deceptive. They told me that when they offered the room at $90 per person that this did not include taxes on the room whereas the room that was $100 included taxes. This is not stated anywhere. If this is not a type of fraud then it is definitely deceptive. The person from customer service stated that they should have that noted. To explain the extreme that I am talking about look at the 2 examples below. It will show you that the room that I got for $90 pp cost me $249.09 whereas the room for $100 pp cost $53.51. That is a big difference. Also I just notice that the transfer from the airport is more also. I feel like this is a bait and switch. They offer a cheaper room price and charge you more in taxes or if you pay more for a room then they charge you less in taxes.
Beware of this practice by BookIt.com. All I know is that a tax is a tax is a tax. No matter who you are you should pay the same tax. Needless to say I want to state that their customer service was responsive but not helpful. People that I talked to agreed with me but they could not fully answer my questions because they know it is wrong. Hope this helps someone in the future or at least make people mindful of this practice.
