    The website was fairly user friendly until it came to picking the seats for the flights, then the nightmare began. After five attempts on the BookIt site, I finally had to go on to the American Airlines site, use the locator number and pick the seats that way. In the meantime, I was on the phone trying to get in touch with a Book It representative. No success during the 35 minutes it took me to complete the seat booking. By the way if you call the American they will charge you $25 to pick each seat through the agent. THIS IS MY 1st. TIME USING BOOKIT. I HOPE THIS IS NOT THE SHAPE OF THINGS TO COME!!

    Multiple issues with this arrangement! I am highly disturbed and upset with all of the changes that incurred since I thought I set up a wonderful birthday getaway for 7/25-7/30. Since booking several different issues occurred which caused my friend and I to change plans and incur costs! Now I'm being charged another $511 to fix a mismatch with our flight and stay!     I booked a room and when I got to the location I was told it was sold out. When I called back they booked me at another location but when I arrived at the new locations I was told that they too had been sold out for that day. When the agent behind the counter checked it was book for the next day and that it’s normal for Bookit to do this. To make matter worse I was charged for the room and then charged for what seems like a cancellation fee. I WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN.

    I booked a single room with two beds through an agent, only to find out when I called the hotel in Puerto Rico that I was booked in a one bed king suite. After seven calls to customer service, where I was put on hold for 45-50 minutes each time, and repeatedly asked for a Manager, who was never available when I called, I was never given a resolution for the mistake of the agent. I was told that I had to pay more money for the room I initially requested, which had a price increase from my initial booking. The service at this business SUCKS. When calling to book a reservation, you are put on hold no more than 5 minutes, but if you are calling Customer Service, you are put on hold for close to an hour. All you ever get each time you call is a recording that states they are more busy than usual. I find this very hard to believe. Customer Service definitely is not a priority with this Company.

    I work in the customer service industry and understand it can be daunting and overwhelming (especially during peak seasons), but I have never given or received such terrible customer service. After cancelling a reservation, I tried to purchase/schedule another. I called relentlessly for days and spent hours on hold. I did get through a few times, and I'm sure my booking ID will show that BUT there were several times that I was transferred, then transferred, then transferred before blatantly being hung up on or the phone call ended because of being on hold for so long. I asked to speak to a supervisor when I did get through to a representative and was told (through giggling) that there was no supervisor or that was not possible. I didn't even think it was possible to decline management to a customer. I did finally book and was not offered and compensation for the poor service. Overall, it has been a disappointing experience and I will not be back.

    We booked our family vacation and paid in full on February 17th...$5,128.86. We received a reminder a couple days before we left for our week vacation at the Luxury Bahia Principe Animal in Mexico to enjoy our trip and make sure we took passports, itinerary, etc. Everything was great until we arrived at the Resort and they said our reservation had been cancelled and they didn't know why but we would have to come back the next day because the home office is in the Dominican and they are closed! We were left standing at the front desk and basically ignored. We refused to leave, continually showing them our paid receipt from BookIt.com.

    We called BookIt.com and they said our reservation was NOT cancelled but to no avail with the hotel. We finally got one of the front desk clerks to figure out how to open our cancelled reservation and there was a note that the hotel tried to contact BookIt.com but never got a response regarding my daughter's age so they cancelled our reservation. I was NEVER NOTIFIED or did the hotel or BookIt.com refund our money. Then they said we could stay but forced us to pay another $830... EXTORTION! When we got home after the vacation...we contacted BookIt.com and they said they would resolve the problem with 2 days. It’s been over a week and no response. Every time we call back we get put on hold and no one ever comes back.

    I had to cancel and pay extra fee for all my trip (car rental, flight, hotel) just because the misleading, commercialized hotel information on Bookit website. When I call to cancel today the phone is disconnected 3 times After an hour for each 3 calls. I finally reached someone at 4th call, but he has no idea what would be the fee etc and asked me to pay more than the listed cancellation fee on the website??? I had to explain to the representative how the cancellation will apply according to the policy on the Bookit website - because he has no knowledge at all! Anyway, they made me cancel all my travel arrangements! Unprofessional. No customer service/support and knowledge... Not reliable at all.

First, my email address was incorrect so I had to call back to have it changed. Then when I viewed the reservation, only my name was spelled correctly - my 4 family members' names were spelled incorrectly.     In the past I was always frustrated with BookIt because it would advertise a room cost which would seem like it doubled in price when you try to book due to taxes and fees while others included it in price. After extensively searching for our vacation this year BookIt was more reasonable. For example the hotel specifically advertises "kids stay free" on their web site and its true when you book. Orbitz, Expedia and others added on a "extra person charge" MORE than doubling the room price with only two kids. BookIt did not as they shouldn't per hotel policy. I am very pleased with rate I have and I am going back to all the people I advised to stay away from BookIt and reeducating them. People come to me on vaca advise because year after year I vacation with prices to brag about. So who I don't get to personally I say... BookIt is a great resource to book through. I was wrong!

    I have in the past always booked here, with BookIt.com This time, I cancelled the vacation after paying the $1401+ deposit and they will NOT refund the money. I have called many times to be put on hold for infinity, and just hung up. I called and just asked to speak to a supervisor only to be told that I have to use the credit within a year... I'm not upset with that. But trying to book flights to Tampa, they tell me that I have to use the whole voucher in ONE booking, AFTER a $250 cancellation fee, and they charged me a $75 cancellation fee, unauthorized, that same day, was just ridiculous. I have called AA and also my credit card and protested the charges... Whatever you do, DON'T book through a third party, always book through the airline OR a travel agent who will tell the yes and no's of booking. Endless phone calls and still NO credit or relief from them or the airlines.

    BookIt.com charged me for a transportation from and to the airport in my Mexico vacation. No one did and when we tried to call and see what's going on and we got nothing. We had to take a cab. When we came back I tried to call and get my money back! I got the worst customer service ever and been told that no manager will talk to me for any reason, they hanged up on me few times! I can go on for hours on how horrible this company is. Just don't book your vacation with them, they will steal your money and leave you hanging.

    It is my mistake that when I had to reenter some information (birthday) my flight information reset. I called BookIt after my confirmation email when I discovered.     My husband and I book a trip on BookIt.com back in February for a little weekend trip to Nashville TN. We did Airfare, Hotel, & rental car. Everything was paid for in February and our trip was for June 16-18 2017. When we arrived at the hotel and they stated the room was paid for and that they needed a credit card on file for accidentals. On Saturday when we were out exploring the city my credit card got declined. When I went online to see why, the hotel was charging me for our stay. When we got back to the hotel I checked with the front desk and they stated that our room was not paid for by BookIt.com and that it was just a hold. I stated that our room was paid for and that I had the receipt. They told me to call BookIt.com to get it resolve because we book it through a 3rd party.

    We went to our room and called BookIt.com and they stated our room was paid for and they had to call the hotel to see what was going wrong. On hold for 30 mins and the BookIt.com person stated that their credit card was not going through and that this is an ongoing issue!!! She stated that the hotel was going to charge my credit card for 1 night and that someone from BookIt.com was going to call the hotel on Monday (June 19) to get this resolved because the credit card they have on file was not working and that accounting had to deal with it on Monday (June 19).

    Now that it is Monday (June 19) I called BookIt.com and her response was "The agreement was the hotel was going to call me" her words actually. So if I wouldn't of called was this not going to be resolved??? I was on hold for 20 mins before speaking with anyone then on hold for another 30 because she had to call the hotel. Once she spoke with someone she stated that the hotel has to refund me since they charged me not BookIt.com and that the person who handles that at the hotel is unavailable for 30 mins and to call back then. This is extremely the worst customer service ever. I asked if I could get some of the trip reimburse or some kind of credit and she stated no. I am extremely unhappy with BookIt.com and I demand some kind of e-mail or call from a manager!

    When my husband booked a trip through BookIt with an agent on the phone he was completely misguided. He booked a trip based off the information BookIt gave. He was completely deceived on fraudulent claims made by BookIt. The pictures claimed beachfront and a relaxing and romantic resort. Only to find out after we booked and we went to the actual resort's website a couple nights before to check dress code for the restaurants that the resort was a complete party resort. Their website literally says "If you live and breathe to party this is the place for you." With a topless pool and no beach just oceanfront which BookIt did not disclose. When we called BookIt expecting no complications in fixing this mess we spent 2 hours on the phone while they had every excuse to why they couldn't do anything.

    We would have never booked that hotel if we would have had factual information about the resort. So without being completely screwed we paid an extra $900 to change resorts. To say this was handled poorly would be an understatement. The only thing we want is to be reimbursed of the cost of the trip. At bare minimum to be reimbursed our extra $900. We have booked almost every trip through BookIt. If you want to keep a customer we hope you will make this right. Following with updating the website with accurate resort information so people can book the trip that they saved for and thought they were getting.

    I booked a trip for my son, my wife and I using BookIt.com. I wanted something simple, all inclusive. During the whole reservation process, it was clear and communicated that there was 3 passengers, including a 1.5 year old passenger. Less than 24 hours before the flight to Jamaica, I discover that "All inclusive" means All inclusive excluding lap child. This was not communicated clearly by BookIt anywhere. I called their customer service, I had to wait 28 mins on the phone before speaking to someone whose answer was basically: "You should read the fine lines". I checked and It is in the fine lines... So they are right but wasted 2 hours of my life because they can't communicate something as simple and important as "We won't book a ticket for your child".

    Initially I had an issue with selecting the wrong departure city. I called the customer service line around 9am and talked to a woman that was not familiar with your guidelines and suggested that I would be better off cancelling and rescheduling using the online service.     The website is easy to use however if I never looked at my billing statement I would have never known they charged my card more than they should have. They charged my card twice, when I recognized the transaction I called. I called customer support and was on hold waiting for a rep for over 20 mins. I hung up and called back, this time and prompted to speak with someone to make a new reservation. Wow someone picked up right away, so they have plenty of agents to take your money, but none to help resolve your issues. I called back a 3rd time and still on hold for 25 mins. I am going to file a dispute with BBB. There are better companies, I'd just use an agent next time. They have better payment plans, and if I get charged twice I will be able to reach the person in charge

    I have been traveling and booking rooms online for years. This was my first time to use Bookit.com and boy do I wish that I had investigated a little beforehand. We found and booked a room and when we contacted the hotel to complete our payment (as per the email we were sent) the amount was incorrect. Bookit.com had billed us hundreds of dollars more than the price that was shown at the time of the booking. I have been on the phone with the hotel, daily, trying to get this straightened out. The hotel has been nothing but nice, but they cannot seem to get Bookit.com to get this error straightened out either.

    Upon calling Bookit.com I was told that my reservation could not be located by name, phone number, address, or debit card number even though I had been charged $500 to hold my reservation! When I asked to speak to the manager, I was placed on hold for an eternity! Thankfully, the hotel graciously refunded my money so that I could be finished dealing with Bookit.com once and for all! If you are even considering booking a room with them, do yourself a favor... DON'T!

    First off I booked a vacation for my b'day to Jamaica. Everything was going ok till 2 of my activities that was PAID IN FULL I didn't get to go on. The BookIt rep there argued with me stating I WASN'T THERE when the bus came. How would she know when she wasn't there to verify.     My husband and I decided to take a well deserved trip and have a great stay in the Bahamas. I got on the phone with BookIt.com and was on the phone quite a while planning the trip. She mentioned she found me a all inclusive adult resort at the Blue Bay Villas in the Bahamas. I even asked if she was sure about that because I had seen a Blue Bay Villa in the Dominican Republic. She confirmed it was in fact in the Bahamas. We continued to make the reservations and she transferred me to American Airlines so I could spend more money paying for seating. She did not tell me there would be a fee just that I needed to pick my seats. Flights booked, seats paid for and resort paid for. My husband and I went to dinner to celebrate. We have never been to Bahamas and were soo excited.

    The next morning I pulled up the email and we were flying into Nassau however our resort was in Dominican Republic. Ugh HUGE problem. I called BookIt.com stay on hold over 60 minutes. Begged for supervisor which I did finally get. He agreed terrible mistake and he has no idea how this happened. He said for 2000.00 more he could get me resort in Bahamas. I said, "No. This is your mistake and you need to make it right"--I offered to split the difference with them and pay an additional 1000.00 and they take the other 1000.00. Nope he refused. I finally had to end up cancelling the whole trip and was devastated. Not only did they totally screw entire trip up they did not fix it and I spent two days on the phone dealing with this. I emailed the founder and CEO of the company and of course no response. Very very disappointing.

    Bookit.com not only messed up our honeymoon booking but then gave us the runaround for weeks. I booked our Cancun resort and flight through Bookit.com. I printed the itinerary for our trip the day before our trip from their website. We got the the airport to find that the airline had changed our flight to a two hour earlier flights 2 months previously and we had missed our flight. The woman working for the airlines looked at our printed itinerary and actually showed me her computer of the date our flight was changed and the date they emailed Bookit to notify them of the change.

    She felt sorry enough for us that she rescheduled our flight for the next day without charging us. I contacted Bookit and when the call was answered she asked me why I wasn't on the wrong flight because they still had it wrong in their system. The first lady was very nice though and actually found in their records where the flight had been changed and admitted they had made a mistake and did not contact us about the change. She said she would contact the resort to try to get our money back for the night we were going to miss but the resort concierge was not open yet so she left a message and told me to call back in an hour.

    I called back 5 times that day and every time the person that answered apparently didn't read the notes from the previous operator and tried to tell me one lie after another. Each time I was told they would take care of it and call me back. Never happened. I continued to call after returning from the honeymoon and was brushed off each time. They told me they could not refund our one night stay because the resort wasn't willing to cancel that night. The resort was not to blame, Bookit was.

    Our transportation was also messed up from the airport to the resort because Bookit said they would move our reservation to the next day which they never did. We had a good time on our honeymoon but from stress of dealing with Bookit and I broke out in hives and spent two days in the room. Please save yourself a hassle and possible loss of money and use a different booking site!!!!

    This is our first outside U.S. vacation. The lady that assisted us continued to call me "Mrs.", even after we corrected her several times. When we received our itinerary we noticed that the room was incorrect from the one we selected. We were not offered travel insurance. No military discounts, but the agent was going to see what she could do; turns out it was the same discount everyone gets, and I should have also received my discount for signing up an account with them, never was asked.

    Also, they don't book first class flights, so when we were looking for those we discovered that it was cheaper to book with other places with the first class flight and the correct room, versus having to book the incorrect room with separate flight. I now have to cancel our booking, can modify or change online, but cannot cancel as "Oops there was an error and you must call to cancel", and we have already selected another place. Part our fault, but poor customer service for lying about discount, mistaking the gender, even after correction. Just no assurances that we were taken care of like other agencies have asked first time travelers. Lesson learned.

    I like the overall site because it really does the legwork for you in finding The best locations at a somewhat decent price. However, there is a charge for everything. For example using more than one card to make a payment, I don't like the fact that you are not able to use PayDelay and if you refresh your computer you can lose the rate you were initially trying to get. I literally clicked on the flight and hotel I wanted, went to get my credit card, came back, page expired. Went to book and that quick my package went up $70! Unbelievable.

    We were booking a stay in Gallatin TN with Quality Inn. We booked through BookIt.com. When we arrived at the hotel thirty minutes later we did not show a reservation. I called them number for BookIt.com. I was booked in a Quality Inn 30 miles away. I was told that they would cancel the reservation but I would not be refunded. I had to pay for my hotel room a second time at the Quality in Gallatin TN. This is outrageous. I will let everyone possible know about BookIt.com practices.
