    No one speaks fluent English enough to understand what you're saying. I was told I wouldn't be charged the 25 bucks and they did it anyway. I am super upset. Then I was transferred to several different places and get for no one to help me. I am confused how travelers insurance works.

    They had the best prices by far on the resort I decided on, however I was disappointed in the hassle it took to get it booked. I didn't know until checkout on the website that they do not accept AMEX (huge bummer because that is how I get my travel rewards). Then, after trying to check out twice in a row and receiving an error that the page couldn't load I called the toll free number. They were very helpful in getting me booked at that point and making sure that I was not paying more than once for my vacation. In the end it was worth it for the savings (which even outweighed what benefit I would get on my rewards card at the higher price!).

    I did not do my due diligence. I thought everyone had a 24 hour cancellation policy. I booked with them then looked at the hotel's website and they were only $100 more and you got an extra 420 worth of resort coupons. I called and asked about a room that I thought was not available and they said there is nothing they can do for me and they would waive one of my kid's fees. So to cancel the booking after 12 hours they were going to charge us $75 to cancel. Even airlines let you have 24 hours. Super unhappy, but lesson learned. I hope whoever is reading this to PLEASE look at everything before booking with this company.

    The website is good and gives plenty of options. However on numerous websites there is a statement that says kids stay free with a parent or guardian. This is not true. I contacted customer service about this and was put on hold for 40 minutes before being hung up on. When I called back the agent said, "I can charge you 900 for your hotel or charge you 450 for you and the child. Which do you want?" Pleasant guy but a Bad attitude. Not very concerned with customer service. I've booked 3 trips with BookIt and while I've enjoyed the trip the customer service side of things is never great. Use BookIt and you'll get a good trip but hope and pray you don't need customer service or you'll be disappointed.

    The representative that I spoke with got the city that I'm suppose to be leaving from wrong. I suppose to have been leaving from IAD airport and she has me leaving from Texas airport. That's a big problem for me, I've been calling since me and her hung up the phone which was 11pm Sat. night. I've been calling since then, couldn't get a answer. Then I spoke with someone on Sunday and the representative informed me that the department I need to speak with is not there until Monday, so with all that, that been time just passing by even if I wanted to cancel. I'm very upset with what is going on. I'm not receiving no positive information about my money that was already taken or how they can fix my flight. Can someone please contact me back.

I was less pleased this morning when I went to choose seat assignments with airline to find out I can't get a seat assignment until the day of the trip unless I want to pay additional for an upgraded seat.     I called and spoke directly with a reservation agent regarding the details of an all-inclusive trip to Mexico, flights & hotel. Once satisfied with all answers to our questions, we booked the trip. When we received the confirmation, the "all inclusive" was "OPTIONAL"... not what the agent had confirmed with us. We called back and spoke with a representative who told us the "all inclusive option" for myself and my 15 year old daughter would be to the tune of $6000 EXTRA!!! Absolutely absurd. We instructed the agent we were fraudulently misled and demanded our trip be canceled. I'm a single mom and I've save for 1 1/2 years to take my daughter on a trip to Mexico and this company screwed up our dreams. They charged us $75 to cancel a trip they intentionally misled us on. Very fraudulent. I will never recommend this company again. BEWARE!!!

    Updated on 05/25/2017: When my refund was being processed they have taken 10 DAYS to put the credit back to my account... It only took them 1 minute to process the payment for the package. This is UNACCEPTABLE.

    BookIt does not send notifications if your flight is changed. We were not notified our flight was changed. I view our itinerary the night before. No changes. Arriving at the airport our itinerary is still not correct on BookIt. We missed our flight, and will not be in Cozumel 5 days. Only four unless we pay 500.00. Will not ever use BookIt.

    My older parents booked a trip to my brother’s wedding. 1 year from now. After my older parents had issues with booking online they called to confirm everything. My parents bought all the extra insurance to protect themselves in case the trip fell through. It did. They were told after the fact the flights are not returnable and the insurance doesn't cover cancellations. Never explained during the call. But because my older parents checked a box, BookIt says, “Sorry. You’re screwed.” Even though they asked to have everything explained in detail. My parents never travel, so to assume they should have known flights are nonrefundable is just bad business. And now they are out some serious money. I will NEVER use or recommend this site again. When dealing with thousands of dollars, every detail should be explained completely. This was not the case at all.

    I have booked with BookIt.com on several occasions and had great service. This last time, we had to change our itinerary 2x - due to unforeseen circumstances. When rebooking with a new hotel, new date - I spent 2 hrs 15 mins for the first phone call and 30 mins for the second phone call to ensure that the new hotel was booked (which took a long time but went smoothly) and to ensure we received all our money back - which didn't go smoothly. In the end, I was told that $715.92 payment we made for the first trip was never actually charged, so no refund would be given on that without further investigation. AND YET - my itinerary and payment history on BookIt.com showed that it WAS charged as did my credit card statement. I kept asking why they don't see the payment on their screen when I can see it on my screen - on the BookIt site. I was passed from one person to a second person.

    When speaking to the second person, I asked to speak with a supervisor. Initially she told me that the supervisor would tell me the same that she is telling me. I insisted, and after insisting she checked with a supervisor. Supervisor was helping another customer - supervisor told her to tell me that I just need to contact Guest Services at BookIt.com and prove I made that payment (presumably produce my credit card statement). I said I was willing to wait on a supervisor - and she said the supervisor is not available to talk. I asked if she is saying I can't speak with a supervisor EVEN THOUGH I AM WILLING TO WAIT?

    After questioning why I wasn't being allowed to speak with the supervisor, she kept insisting that I just need to take it up with Guest Services as the supervisor said - TO GET MY MONEY BACK which BookIt.com seemed to misplace? Unbelievable!! She finally checked with the supervisor who said she is heading into a meeting. After she is done she would call me back. I asked this rep at BookIt - 'So when a supervisor goes into a meeting, there is NO OTHER SUPERVISOR ON THE FLOOR as BACKUP?' She said there was no other supervisor to speak to. Ridiculous!

    So I immediately, search for a link to Guest Services on the site - of which there is NONE - just Guest Support with FAQ's. So I had to spend another 30 mins on the phone to speak with someone and find out how to get my money back. Lo and behold, I asked for a supervisor and a supervisor was available! The supervisor, having read over the notes on the system, came on the phone and apologized saying that there was a misunderstanding and I would be receiving that $715 refund, - so I wouldn't have to prove anything. This just took 2 hours and 45 mins!!! My morning was gone! Very aggravating.

    When a customer asks to speak with a supervisor - FIND A SUPERVISOR!! I didnt raise my voice until I wasn't being allowed to speak with a supervisor. It's pretty audacious for a customer service rep to try to convince a customer that no other supervisor is available when the immediate one goes to a meeting - for a company as large as BookIt. Okay - I'm done ranting. Will I use BookIt again - truthfully - yes. Prices are good, vacation packages are good - and like any other company, there are a few poorly trained reps. but overall service is good (albeit, time consuming).

    We have spent over 2 hours trying to book a package deal. There were errors with the card, called the bank. Everything was fine. Email said no flight was booked call immediately. So I did. After 47 minutes with Omar flight still wasn't booked due to an error. All funds have been depleted from both cards we used. Still no flight!! I also signed up for the INSTANT $150 savings and never received the email with the code. I was then told it could not be used for a package that was already booked. THE FLIGHT STILL ISN'T BOOKED so why can it not be applied to the package???

    I am a very upset customer at this point. Very tempted to cancel the entire trip because BOOKIT.COM has an error in the system. Omar was understanding on the 47 minute conversation. We are not happy customers at this point. Another issue with the system is that every time it have the error message with no code Omar and myself had to go back and put all travelers information in again. That is very frustrating. Something needs to be done about this situation right away. Considering there is over $4000 ON HOLD by BOOKIT.COM. I expect someone's immediate attention to this matter! The stress level is through the roof due to BOOKIT.COM's lack of completing this reservation. Unless this is handled appropriately in a timely manner, this site will never get my business again.     I booked a reservation with the 1.00 promo. It said you can cancel within 48 without fees. My payment plan was 150 a month for 4 months on my AMEX card. The Hotel stopped taking AMEX so BookIt charged 35.00 fee for nonpayment. I was upset. Cancelled reservation they charged a 50.00 cancel fee. So far I have spent 85.00 for NOTHING. I am mad but whatever. I booked directly with the Resort. No charges or fees. Now fast forward 2 months later. I receive an email saying my card is being charged 35.00 because my payment didn't process. What the hell are you serious?? A payment for a reservation that I cancelled 2 months ago and paid 50.00. Of course I disputed with my credit card company. But they are ridiculous and a RIP OFF. They may be okay for last minute deals but from now on I will book directly with the Hotel. Not worth it.

    I will never use BookIt.com after my last two trips. First of all they could not, or would not send me confirmations of my booked trips. I called several times and confirmed my email address and they still never sent the confirmation. On one of my cancelled trips I was owed a refund which they never sent. I called several times and all I got was that it was transferred to my bank. I called my bank and they never received the transfer. When I called all they would say is they transferred the funds and gave me a confirmation number and said that is all they could do. I don't whose account they sent it to if any, but I never got my refund. No one I spoke to was helpful at all. So I had to eat the cost of the cancelled trip.

We waited in about a 10 hour line for passports, still stoked for our trip. My fiance informed me his last payment was today May 15th 2017. He checked his email to learn our trip had been cancelled. So he calls, he wasn't getting our money back, worst of all our honeymoon was cancelled. The reason for the cancellation: Insufficient funds - why? BookIt.com is on Eastern time and decided to take the money out MIDNIGHT EST time = 9pm PST on May 14th (where we live). My fiance gets paid on the 15th. We called BookIt.com at 9pm PST because we're adults, we have jobs, we are wedding planning. They tell us, "YOU MISSED THE DEADLINE. It is 12am EST here." Okay why are we just learning they are on eastern time! No mention of that information before.

    In their email, yes email, they stated they tried several times to contact us. Really, no missed calls, voice mails, texts? How did you attempt to contact us?     We purchased round trip ground transportation to hotel. Upon our arrival we checked in with Coming2 agency which should provide us transportation. Instead Adrian ** tried to charge us $60 more on top what we already paid for, for 2 of us ($60 with receipt or $40 cash for his friend's taxi). We opt to use regular taxi from airport which was more cheaper than those fishy options. Now Bookit refused to refund us transportation fees because Coming2 said we were "no show".     I booked my vacation with my Auntie Candace and I gave the agent the information about the discount with save200. Candace was spelled it wrong Candice and my discount wasn't applied. As well I was told that I must call the Airline to get the name fixed and the agent said the change was done on the hotel side by BookIt rep. I was told that we could do a three way call or I could call to get the name change myself. The airline person told me to call BookIt.com and ask for a supervisor to get this solved. I want you to know I searched around and was offered really great deal but I believed BookIt was around longer, Vacation express. I am becoming disappointed as the days go by. I was also told that I can't wait too long or I can't change it and Candace will not be able to go. I need a supervisor or management to help solve this difficult problem.

    When I called today I spoke with a young woman and I told her about this she gave the main number without a extension. I asked about the extras to my Vaca. and she gave really great things to do. So I asked her "if I buy it now will you help me." She said "I can call her tomorrow and we can fix it (name change)" and buy the extras as well and she gave me this new # with extension.     This past Saturday I was going to book a trip to Mexico during BookIt's end of the month sale. A $50.00 rebate was offered which could be used on future bookings. I wanted to book two trips, one for my wife and I and one for my daughter and 2 grandkids. Before I finished booking my daughter's trip, I noticed an error in my grandson's passport. I left a message with my daughter notifying her of the passport error, and did not finish booking her trip or mine. The following day, Sunday, we resolved the passport issue.     Booked a trip to Cancun Mexico. I used the website to find the best airfare and travel dates. Before actually booking the trip, I thought it would be best to speak with a travel specialist to see if I had the best deal. What a nightmare, all the girl wanted me to do was to give my credit card. She wanted to hurry to end the call. I told her I wanted some time to speak with my family before booking the trip. She said she would give me a courtesy 12 hours to decide. Then she said she needed my card to hold the trip, a fee of $10. I agreed, when I received confirmation, the packaged airfare wasn't included, just hotel. She never told me that what she was doing was just for the hotel. I told her I didn't want to do that, possibly lose the flight I selected. I graciously asked her to cancel the courtesy hold. I also told her that I was just going to book the trip online. She agreed, put me on hold to speak with another department.

    I waited about 50 minutes before someone answered. While waiting on hold, I attempted to book the trip online. Another issue occurred. The airfare portion of the trip went through, the hotel portion did not. When someone finally answered, it took an additional hour to iron out what happened. I called in the next day because I believe the transfer to and from the hotel was left out. Waited 45 minutes, hung up. I called the hotel to ensure they had my reservation, they didn't have it yet.     I found that it seems that every online reservation errors out at the end so you HAVE TO call in. The whole process online seemed too simple and it was, THEN, I received the 'error' and ph# number to call in. Several of my friends encountered the same issue.     I just booked at Grand Moon Palace in Cancun, Mexico. I booked an exclusive 7 days package but gave me an error after it took my money and gave me a number to contact to review my bookings. At first she only saw my flights but didn't see my hotel bookings, then she tried again and saw that I booked a hotel with it.     I booked a five-night stay April 13-18 in the preferred section. My only complaints were the size of the room and size of the shower. Besides those two minor things me and my girlfriend had a great time and loved the food and scenery of the resort. I attempted to use the ATM one morning - the machine did not dispense my cash but my account was debited. An employee witnessed the incident and made a note of it.     I made a reservation on 4/25/2017 for 4 nights from 5/14 to 5/18 via BookIt. After the reservation, I checked with the Krystal-Cancun official website and they are sold out. Other third parties sites also show that the resort is not available. BookIt site is deceptive allowing unsuspecting customer to make reservations when they know that there is no availability. Since yesterday, I have been asking them to confirm or cancel my reservation to no avail. Sarah and Reenisha have an attitude and told me to wait 72 hours. Doing that, would be detrimental in protecting my consumer's right of canceling within 3 days. Instead they are telling me about a $25 dollar penalty per person. I am holding the end of my bargain. They need to make this transaction whole.

    I have used Bookit.com many times to book vacation in the past through agents through this site. We go on the site, scroll through the site to find the resort package in this case that looked best for our budget and needs! The price looked amazing. We read through all the details of the flights, resort covered everything, even found a coupon for $200 off!!! We were so excited we were getting a great deal. So I called into the Bookit and booked the trip every so I thought was perfect! My parents decided they would like to join us seeing how it was such a good deal. They asked me to call and book them as well.

    This is when a bomb was dropped on us. The agent I spoke with asked where we would be flying out of. When he found out it was Canada he immediately informed me that the pricing I was seeing on the website were in US $$$. My heart sank due to the exchange rate at the time. That would mean approx an additional $800 would be added to my parents holiday if I were to book. There was no way I could do that also not realizing I had just booked a trip prior for a 2-week vacation and now will be getting a $1500 plus exchange fee added all to the fact that the booking rep did not make it clear that the prices were all in US.

    They say it's all over their website but it's only when you yourself go to do your booking will it say in fine print any the end under the total USD!!!! I have tried to talk to management and they give you the runaround and say that it's on their website and they dismiss it like nothing!! Poor customer service. I'm so disappointed. It's a shady way to run a company. You need to be upfront and honest with people!!!

    We called in to confirm our reservation and get our payment dates, however when we called the agent said he could not locate our reservation. At this point we were worried because payments had already been withdrawn from the bank and we asked for a supervisor. This supervisor identified himself as Alex OpId: ** out of Salvador call center and he stated the previous agent was in Manila. We later called back (same number) and the agent was able to easily find out reservation. She advised agents don't typically ask for full card number or banking information to research reservation and Alex had asked for it multiple times.

    At this point, we are worried of who this individual is or if he is even part of BookIt company. Please keep in mind we called the phone number for bookit.com and we called again with no problems the second time. We are worried who this is, why he couldn't find our reservation and why he asked for our banking info. Feedback would be truly appreciate. We want to make sure future callers are not caught on the same bind and we are highly concerned regarding this.

    As I booking a trip to Dreams Riviera Cancun online thru Bookit.com, I had problems with assigning seats on United. I called to ask a few questions and the Bookit.com customer service took over the reservation. She reentered everything on her end. I was booking three rooms. I put in my original reservation two rooms with double beds and 1 with a king in the comments section. I requested the customer service agent to do the same. She put me on hold. When she came back she said that she put that in. Also since I had 6 people there was no difference in price for a private transfer than a shared so I requested the private transfer.

    When I got to Mexico, the shuttle company said they had no reference of my private shuttle. When I got to the hotel, the hotel said they had no request for the room types. I had travel representative call about our transfers for the return shuttle to the airport. The Bookit agent said she had no record. I gave them a chance to make good on their end and they didn't. I just won't use them again.

    I had clicked on a direct flight offered by Frontier Airlines. Somewhere along the way, it was changed to American Airlines (not a direct flight), but I didn't catch the change until after I'd completed my booking. I immediately called the BookIt 800 number and repeatedly got a busy signal for the department handling completed bookings. I finally called booking sales in order to speak with a person. That person transferred me to someone who could supposedly help. This person spoke so fast that she was hard to understand. In the end, she said there was no way to get the Frontier flight I'd wanted unless we were willing to pay about $400 more per ticket.

    My husband and I were booking a trip to San Juan for hotel and flight included. The flight was charged to our card successfully however our bank declined the hotel thinking it was fraud, we called to get it corrected and was quoted an extremely higher rate than what we were originally paying for. I do not understand why they could not honor our original price or re-run the charge. My husband had the bank on the other line to ensure things went smoothly. So we ended up paying over $300 more than what we were supposed to pay with the original package. We will never book with you again! Not to mention customer service was horrible, we were hung up on several times and they were reading horribly from a script.

    I had planned to use the BookIt.com mobile order and had got all the way to the payment screen and it kept erroring out. After 7 attempts with the same error (missing address line one, missing city, missing zip, missing phone, etc.) despite all having been filled in; I ended up booking online and having to forgo the addition $16 discount for mobile booking discount. I was using Safari on an iPhone 6s with the latest OS in case that helps to recreate the issue.     Booked a vacation in Cancun and email AND verbal confirmation from BookIt agent. Arrived at the resort, they had no knowledge of our reservation. Attempted to call BookIt several times from Mexico, each time we were given a voice mail to complain to. Even when we finally received a human to speak with we were transferred to someone's voicemail. Only after two hours and several calls did we receive a reply - through email. Not a call, not a text. Good thing the resort we were at had mercy on us and gave us a wifi password.

    Turns out they book us into a resort that was full. To fix the problem they booked us in another resort 45 minutes away. We had to pay for yet another taxi to drive us to the next resort. When we got there we found out BookIt booked us into the kid/family part of the resort. Right outside my window was the kiddie pool. Great. The same resort had adult only or family. We originally paid for a ocean side room, but got kiddie side. I will NEVER EVER use BookIt again.
