    I found this to be the best site to book my vacation through! My only suggestion would be to add pay delay as an option to Amenities or search criteria for those wishing to use this service.     I was deciding whether or not to book a trip to Occidental Xcaret. The agent told me that he just found out I also has access throughout our trip to the park free of charge. I thought it seemed too good to be true but he assured me it was the case. Based on this 'sweetener' I booked the vacation. I was very unsure that I would want to book something not really on the beach but thought if the kids had access to the park it would make up for it.

    I asked for it in writing and he said it would be on my booking confirmation. It was not, when I called back I spoke with a woman that could have been in a movie parodying a customer service experience from hell, totally uncommunicative, dismissive, monosyllabic. She actually put me on hold, I thought she was looking into something, when she came back she asked me if I had found anything one their website! Apparently in her lack of communication she had put me on hold to do something else and thought she had asked me to look it up??!!! I asked for the manager, I spoke with Shanice, she was very dismissive, clearly didn't care at all about the issue or the fact that I was lied to.

    Now, apparently, management at BookIt.com is supposed to listen to the original phone conversation I had with the agent and contact me. In that conversation they will clearly hear his promise and me asking for it in writing repeatedly and him telling me not to worry, it would be on the booking. I am totally disgusted by this experience, I will tell everyone I possibly can to never book anything with your company, and if there is not a remedy offered I am going to pay my 15 year old son to cover the internet with anti-BookIt.com info, and I will cancel the booking payment through my credit card and I will be contacting the MN Attorney General about your fraudulent business practices. I'm sure I'm not the only one, I'm sure they will be very interested in a company that is willing to lie just to take your money.

    My friend & I booked at the same time. Her price was significantly higher than mine per person for room and flight for the same package which seems fishy. We clicked submit together and mine did not process however an agent did call me immediately which was nice, but she was unable to book my flights and I needed to on my own. After I booked my flights I had to then call back BookIt to have insurance added as the agent couldn't do that either. This made the process take a couple of hours which was terribly frustrating! In the end it all worked out, but it was a lot of work to assure I was on the same flight and had the same package, flight and insurance that I was attempting to pay for on the site all way once.

    When booking a reservation with Bookit, please be aware and read the fine print. While you can cancel a trip within certain dates, understand that your flights are non-refundable. You might get a voucher for later travel, but if you will have to book it through Bookit. If you find a place you want to stay, you might not be able to get the flights. Just be aware. We changed our booking and it took me 4 1/2 hours on the phone with Bookit.

    Really stressful booking process! I booked two hotels for 5 and 4 days which was nice and easy! Then after 1-2 days received an email that I need to be verified by sending the ID and credit card photo for one of the bookings. I did so, and out of curiosity asked if the other booking is fine. The validation person told me, "NO that one is also pending." SO unreal! How is this even possible, could you imagine I will be at Cancun in the lobby and I have no room that I have planned for months ago??? It just got worst then. I asked to verify the other booking too and provided info to the rep and he told I will get another email to know it's been confirmed too. BUT I haven't received that email yet. So basically, terrible experience. I would not use your website and nor recommend it. Seriously, guys, you should get organized and more responsive.

She was constantly (100+ times) saying "Will you hold on?"     I had got prices on their website but wanted to confirm that there would be no surprise costs to me after such as fuel surcharge etc. I called and spoke with Jennifer who was so pleasant & she confirmed no extra costs and also called the hotel for me while on hold to confirm that the price for my daughter was accurate. The hotel used to be kids under 12 stay & eat free but they recently changed it to 5 & under.     I had a terrible experience with FLAMINGOS HOTEL, I bought a all-inclusive package but it was not true, as soon as I arrived at this hotel, I realized they wanted to charged me for all, mexican beer, meals, even bottle water, I was really disappointed and I cancelled at that moment. The sad part was the hotel charged me for one night as a penalty and BookIt couldn't do much.

    This is my second time using BookIt. First time went well. This time everything has been fine so far except for flights. The website says after you pay you can change seats. The site lets you go to what looks like you are changing but at the end it will not let you complete. Call BookIt and punch in ext for "help with flights". Was on hold for 35 minutes until hung up. Called back. Tried ext for hotel transfer. Was informed that you have to make changes through the airline you are flying website. Which would have been fine if they would tell you that upfront on their site. Luckily I got in before all seat taken. If I hadn't got seats next to my wife I would have given a 1 or 2 star. Hopefully this will help someone in future so they don't waste time and get their seat picked. Also, wasn't too happy to call on weekend and your office is closed. Makes me a little worried if I have an issue on a Saturday or Sunday of my trip, and who I can call for help.

    I just booked a hotel in Aruba on BookIt.com. The hotel cost is clear but the taxes, resort fees and other fees are not. I will have to call and ask for clarification. I hope they disclosed and charged everything upfront. It says taxes and service fees were charged. There may or may not be more fees - I can’t tell. It says each person in the room has to pay a 15% resort fee. But Hilton site says it is a fee per room. So I can’t tell if I saved money over booking with Hilton direct or not.

    I have had the most horrible experience with this company. At first they booked the hotel without the flights and refused to change it. After Several days of arguing with them they finally agreed to cancel the initial booking. Then I booked the package I wanted and they booked the wrong flight home! I specifically went through the flights I wanted and they still booked it incorrectly. I have spent hours of my life on hold trying to speak with someone. They are very polite and in a hurry to help you with a new booking But if you need to make any changes plan on spending hours trying to get it resolved. I will never book with them again!!!!!

    The only issue we had was we had changed our return flight to later time. We adjusted to a later flight, however when made the adjustment, it did not keep. Our confirmation email showed the earlier return flight that we did not want. Called United Airlines as suggested on the BookIt website, and they told us it had to be done through BookIt when booked within 48 hours. Hoping when we call to correct the return flight that it will be an easy fix. Otherwise prices are great and was user-friendly!

    Had booked a hotel. When we got to the hotel the reservation was not in the system at the hotel. Called BookIt and that took an hour or over. They found it so he said to cancel which and then go through the hotel in which because the hotel did not receive the reservation. And go through the hotel in which that was all for nothing!!! And cost $100 dollars more. Your customer service is the worst. Needless to say I missed my appointment all because they never put the reservation through the hotel at the last moment when I had called!!! Never again. Bad review from me!!!

    The booking process on the website was very fast and easy. The only improvement I would recommend is once everything is booked, not much information is available. For example I can't see what seats I have for my flight, it only shows the flight number. I had to call the airline directly which was a bit of an inconvenience as this should be a one stop shop for everything like they advertise. Also I booked 3 rooms together and was told they can't guarantee we will be next to each other. Customer service is very friendly and tried helping the best they could by noting everything but that's not very comforting. If you book 3 rooms you should be able to stay next to each other especially in such a big resort.

    During my booking process there's pictures of what your room look like, and the pictures are a little misleading. I Google the actual photos from people who stayed in the particular room that I reserved and their pictures look much different from what I was showed. The rooms are very small.     My experience with BookIt was not pleasant at all. We received a call in the late afternoon 2 days before we were suppose to had left for Punta Cana stating that they had overbooked at our resort and we were going to have to move to another resort that was no comparison to what we had originally reserved. While on the phone for hours that day couldn't get an answer from anyone as to how this happened being that our trip was booked on September 9, 2017 and they called on December 26, 2017 to inform us that the hotel was overbooked. The stress was awful because at this point we didn't know if we were going to be able to take this trip to celebrate my birthday because we refuse to go to another country to stay on a crappy resort.

    Late afternoon on December 27, 2017 is when we got confirmation that we would be staying on the resort we originally reserved. But still no explanation as to how this happened. Then on the way back the transportation company called BD Travel that BookIt has a contract with to transport the customers to and from the airport never showed up to pick us up to go back to airport to head home. We arranged for transportation 2 days prior to us leaving and still had an issue. Mind you the transportation fees were included with our package that was paid for, so they got our money as well and we didn't get the service. We almost missed our flight. Just a horrible experience with Bookit and I would never use them again.

The process is so clumsy and difficult that I would NEVER use this site again. The company apparently advertises airfares that they cannot actually secure so last minute the flight cost skyrocket and you're left choosing if you want to take your family on the promised trip or pay triple on the flights. After requesting 3 times to speak to a manager he was able to book just the hotel and I independently booked my flights. It was the most difficult process I’ve ever had and I have travelled all over the world for 20 years; I needed a vacation after booking my vacation!!!

    First I'd like to say we've used BookIt.com a few times before and have had nothing but great things to say. But this time they dropped the ball and didn't handle things the way I expected. I booked our flight around noon and was told that I should be receiving a confirmation via email within 10-15 mins of completing the call. We were actually attending a family function so I didn't bother looking at my email until later in the day. After roughly 6 hours I checked my email and found that there was no confirmation sent to me. When I got home I called BookIt.com to see what the issue was. They informed me that I didn't make any reservations, I informed them that I know I did and would be contacting Visa to see if the transaction went through or not. After confirming with Visa that I did pay for a trip with them, I called them back.

    I was a little more blunt this time as they attempted to say I didn't book anything. After regurgitating all my info to them again and again they found it. After quickly going through the booking again with them they informed me that the flights were different than what my family and I had selected. I informed them we chose those flights because we were flying with a bunch of kids and wanted to have an overnight layover instead of multiple stops and sleeping on the airport floor. They struggled to find the flights that I was looking at on the website until I told them where to look. Once they found them they informed me that I'd have to pay an additional $400. When I asked why they said that it was a more expensive flight than what the flight with multiple stops were. I told them that I never booked that flight and that the flight we were looking at was the flight that I originally booked.

    After going back and forth with the booking lady and her supervisor, I finally just said to simply pay the difference and be done with it. She then proceeded to take all my info again, when it came close to the payment part of the conversation I asked her how this was going to happen? Was she going to refund me the original amount for the flight then rebook the new flights? Or simply charge me the difference of the two? She then informs me that refunds take 7-10 days. And she was just going to withdraw another $1700 from my card. And the refund will show up when it gets there. I then said to simply cancel the entire trip, refund all the entire amount.

    I told her in 7-10 days whenever it shows up we'll think about who we book with again. I then asked to talk to someone about the chance of a voucher for the confusion, frustration and amount of time that this consumed (2.5 hrs throughout the day), she asked me to wait while she transferred me to her supervisor again. I listened to the little jingle that the phone was playing for another 5 mins only to have them disconnect and the phone go dead. Like I said at the beginning. I've used them 3 or 4 times before and have never had a lick of trouble. But this time was ridiculous.

    I am a repeat customer and have always enjoyed my experiences with BookIt. Today I was on the phone for over an hour with a representative and all I wanted to do was change the dates of my reservation. Just before I called I checked the new dates on the website so I could review flights, see if there were any price adjustments and determine if the type of room I wanted was available. I pretty much had to talk the representative through her job, which I didn't mind doing to try to increase efficiency but she didn't seem to understand what I needed and put me on hold several times. Once we finally figured out the appropriate package, the cost was $100+ over what I had seen online. After going back on hold for a long time, she came back and said she couldn't give me the price I had seen online.     Booked trip, a few days later they ask for flight info. I send it to them since we prepaid for transfers from the airport. Arrived at airport and no transportation. How much do you think it costs for a cab on Christmas night? Got to hotel, checked in and went to make dinner reservations. All booked up for the week, it's hot dogs and hamburgers every night unless we leave site. Defeats the purpose of all-inclusive. The $700 I saved is gone and then some and my first day of vacation is very frustrating. Don’t use these guys, you think you're saving money but you're not. Btw- you will not reach them by phone during holidays.

    Horrible Customer Service. I booked an all inclusive for Grand Palladium in Jamaica and I realized about 15 days after my purchase the price went down on BookIt.com. I immediately called BookIt to have them offer me the current rate that they have. BookIt claims that my reservation had a penalty that states if I modify/cancel my reservation I will be charge a first night per person rate. I wasn't cancelling or modify my reservation but was hoping they can grant me the current rate they had going on. BookIt claim it is Grand Palladium who prevents them from being able to change my rate because to modify my reservation they will have to charge me first night rate per person. But when I spoke to Grand Palladium they stated that it's BookIt policy and "We cannot do anything, since the agency is the one that will make the penalty charge".

    I will never use BookIt again! It's insane that they will not offer you the cheaper rate if its goes down after you book. JetBlue for instance if their price for the flight goes down they credit me the difference in my travel bank. Horrible customer service. After being on the phone with BookIt and emailing Grand Palladium back and forth my issue IS STILL not resolve. I use BookIt for everything and I have been for years and this is the last time I will be using them.

    I booked a trip through BookIt.com this past summer. I'm a firm believer in you should get what you paid for. However, BookIt must seem to differ. Although, the hotel Royalton was very nice and a pleasant experience, I booked a room that was suppose to be OCEAN VIEW. Upon arrival we were told there were no OCEAN VIEW rooms only PARTIAL OCEAN VIEW ROOMS. Hotel employees were very polite and tried to accommodate us with a room closer to try and get us a better view of the ocean. They asked me to contact the agency (BOOKIT) when I returned to the States and inform them of the problem.

    I made several attempts while I was there and when I returned from vacation and was treated very rudely. There were no attempts to try and correct the issue or maybe give a partial discount in that there was only a partial view of the ocean. Literally, we had to hang our heads way over the balcony and look to the right over treetops to try and get a glimpse of the ocean. Very displeased and dissatisfied with this agency.

    I called BookIt to find out how much it would be to cancel my stay at an all inclusive resort. I have been having some health issues and wanted to see if I would be able to save a lot of money by staying somewhere else. All I asked was for the price, it turns out I would have had to pay about 90 percent of my stay if I wanted to cancel. I told the woman on the phone that I would keep the reservation and hung up. Soon after that I received an email saying that my cancellation was confirmed. I would be charged $390 to NOT go. I never told the woman to cancel. Why would you cancel someone’s reservation without authorization? I have spent approximately four hours trying to get in touch with someone by phone to explain to them that I did not want my vacation canceled. After hours of being on hold, they finally rebooked my stay. Safe to say I will not be booking again through them because my entire day has been wasted for no reason at all.

    The website works fine. There is a $25 rescheduling fee which competitors do not charge but fair enough. I called customer service originally and the first time was told that the hotel would not let me reschedule. The second time I called I was told I had to cancel and rebook my entire booking which would cost $50 to cancel and $25 to change. These were both complete lies. I went online and was able to easily reschedule without either of the requirements. Long wait times and terrible customer service. I like the way they lay our information online. It has apples to apples comparisons of the hotels and amenities. The website was fine but the customer service makes me hesitant to use bookit again.     This is our 1st trip to Jamaica and I wanted everything to be perfect so hubby enjoys our trip. He does not like flying and this is our 1st trip. I booked our trip with "BookIt" because of the great deal. A few months in I realized I made an error on our names and only put our initial on the ticket which would not match our passports. I call BookIt and they assisted me in fixing my error. Then a few weeks ago I called to upgrade our seats on the plane to give us more leg room. Once again they assisted us with great pleasure. Now it's just one week away from our trip and I called again to request an ocean front view for our room and with pleasure they assisted me again.     Called before booking and an agent was very helpful with our questions. Since it was a brand new resort we had a lot of questions and she was very patient. We booked the trip at a great price through them online. We paid extra to change to a more convenient flight. When the booking was confirmed the flight was not the one we paid extra for however the original. We were billed for the upgrade (it was a very reasonable price). When I called, the rep was not really interested in my complaint and told me there was nothing they could do regarding upgrading or refunding the extra we paid for the upgrade. She did offer to upgrade at 10 times the original price! A manager was requested and refunded the difference we paid. I would still recommend this company to book as I feel the one representative may have not been trained in these matters.

    Bookit.com helped us book our honeymoon, but their customer service and service needs lot of attention and training. We booked with book it months ago and we found out about a possible change to our plans. We were in need to want to add a date to our original purchase. We were put on hold for 45min until my fiancé took out his phone and called the line for booking and explained we were on hold and just needed help. The rep just ignored what he said and put him on hold to be reached to customer support. Again another 45min pass and still on hold. My fiancé again attempts to call and let me remind you, when you want to purchase new, they will pick up in a matter of seconds. When you are asking for help, they won’t you. They will just transfer you.

    I guess after 2 hours pass and yes we have the exact number on the phone, a rep finally comes on... only to put us back on hold for 6 minutes to check on the small change we wanted to do. It shouldn’t be this difficult to get in touch with someone. Especially people who spent lots of money booking from the site. So easy to take people’s money but customer service needs to be improved big time!!

    I spoke to a customer rep that helped me find a flight that said no longer available. She found the flight said I had to book the room and flight separately. I asked her to call me back so I had all the info names correct for my flight. She emailed me the saved trip. But never called me back. I called and spoke to a very rude lady that wouldn’t help me book my flight. She said the flight was no longer available. After playing with the flight info it came back that the flight was still available. But the Book It rep said it wasn’t. Booked the whole trip on line myself. Book It reps didn't want to go above the call of duty to even help me. She was rude. I hope this doesn’t happen again. Was very turned off by the service.

    David ** was excellent in helping me select a property in Punta Cana. However, I was very disappointed in the flight arrangements. Unless my full name is indicated on the plane ticket, I am not eligible for the TSA rapid screening. When I called back, another agent tried to change the tix, but put our first and middle names together, (**) which is not accurate enough to pass the TSA scrutiny. I had to call Jet Blue more than 3x to try to straighten out the problem, which still was unsuccessful. Each time the tix were changed, I had to apply again for extra space seats. It was all very stressful and I certainly hope the destination will fulfill my expectations.

    Was not offered Cyber Monday deal that I was promised. The flight was booked only. Because the deal was "expired" I was supposed to pay an extra $300 for the same all inclusive deal that was offered Monday when I payed for the flight. Said I wanted to cancel my booking altogether and the person pushed another hotel on me, did not ask if I had coupons, called back to use them to be told it was too late. Altogether I called 5 times and was on hold for 3 hours. When checking Thursday, I found a better deal than the same exact one offered on Cyber Monday that I was booked with. Not only did their website crash on me and not allow me to book the deal I initially "paid" for, when calling back I was treated with disrespect and told that no manager could assist me with my issue. Even though it is their mistake for the system being down, they cannot offer me this deal. I am extremely disappointed with this company and will not book through them again.
