3rd attempt at booking a vacation package, flights were not confirmed each time, even though full package was charged. Was told by a Bookit.com rep to book flights directly through airline. Called again today and was left on hold. Waste of time.

The website is easy to use and the customer service reps are very helpful. The only thing I didn't like is that I wanted to add another adult to my reservation and they charged me a cancellation fee and then re-booked it. If I'm adding another guest for the exact same room, I don't think that I should be charged a cancellation fee. You're already getting more money from me by me adding another guest.

We booked a weeks vacation at Catalonia Royal Tulum. The process was easy, and best of all, Bookit had a price $200 less than any other agency. The process was quick, and simple, and was followed up with detailed emails.

It has been a good experience booking with BookIt.com. You can find the good price compared to other online travel websites. The service representatives are nice and helpful. When canceled the reservation, they even did not charge a fee so I recommend it without reservation.

I will never book a trip with BookIt.com ever again in life! Very unprofessional agents. A agent booked the wrong hotel and they gave me a hard time refunding my money. We have been using this service for 3 plus years now and are always happy with the results. We love the Pay delay feature which allows to travel and stay in high end resorts. We use this service to travel to Cancun yearly for our anniversary. I would recommend it to anyone.

Love BookIt. I had to change the dates of my trip and had no issues. I called and they refunded me the trip so I could rebook. I had the money back in my account the next day. The only thing I wish BookIt did is a little more for return customers. I have booked with them 6 years in a row and they do not offer any real significant discount to loyal customers.

Description is very upfront. As for the resort prices are fair and there's a lot of different options for flight and prices very so can't wait to experience my first vacation. Hope everything goes as the description was given, the pictures shows this island is gonna be a good experience. Hotel seems very maintained.

BookIt has reached out to me regarding this matter. The penalty fees were being charged from the hotel we booked and BookIt collected my daughter's medical records and acted on our behalf to have the penalty fees waived directly from the hotel. I am relieved to have learned today that the hotel has agreed to waive the cancellation penalties. Thank you SO MUCH BookIt for taking the time that you put into helping with this matter.

I will never use Bookit.com again. Their website is flooded with banners saying this is only going last 24 hrs and you're getting 60% off, however I did not get the best deal and they refused to price match in day in age where everyone price matches. I now know that I likely do not have the best price while using bookit.com. I advise everyone before booking anything with bookit.com, especially for Caribbean vacations, to check cheapcarribean.com instead. Do not use bookit.com.

I booked a trip and afterwards it said there was an error but my card was still charged. So I called and they had to rebook it and my card was charged again. I'm waiting to hear from someone to see how long it will take for my card to be refunded. This was an inconvenience because it caused my account to overdraft.

Our booking agent was very attentive to our needs and even added a package for our honeymoon. He was great at explaining each part of the package while not making us feel pressure to buy the extras. The agent also gave us a recommendation to take the shuttle to our hotel, which we would not have thought of otherwise.

Three groups of friends attempted to book at the same time. One of the three bookings was successful while the other two were not. The rooms we were searching for ended up being not available, which was different than what it said online. We spent about an hour on the phone with a phone customer service person to get a different room. This was initially a hassle as we were not getting the same price we were getting online. However, in the end, the booking was successful and the customer service representative was helpful. It was a frustrating process as the rooms that were "available" online were not actually available when it came down to it.

For my trip to Aruba the online booking gave me an error because my credit card company approved the flights but not the resort charges which led to an email with an error code being generated. After clearing things up with the credit card company I called back the Customer Service team. They were friendly, patient, and very understanding. They were able to re-book everything exactly as I had it and in very little time.

I don’t think it’s right to say you have only 2 available Rooms left for a particular room. And my party books it. Then the next morning 4 more of the same rooms are available. Seems like false advertising. Going forward I believe you should show the exact amount of Rooms available for the hotel if choice.

Would like my customer service experience to be more personable especially when I’m calling to upgrade. I’m placed on Hold after hold and my experience with all your customer service reps have not been good. I ask them their opinions on certain things and they tell me, "It’s your choice." If we’re going to spend all that money at least have good customer service.

I found everything to be simple to use. I found pricing to be great. I like the fact that the inclusive price was listed and I won't get charge more at the hotel. The pictures were great and I like being able to see the reviews. I also liked the beach ratings.

Definitely BookIt has the best price! Although the agent couldn’t help us with our reservation it kept showing an error that not even he couldn’t explain so we end up calling the the hotel directly. Oh well maybe next time.

Worst customer service. Representative did not bother to help me out. Just waited for me to figure it out on my own. Customer service is supposed to help find a solution, not just be on the line. I did not get any help and had to go back online and try to figure out things on my own. Aside from they I waited about 20 minutes to be connected to someone in the first place.

No complaints at all about the deals, we're very happy and excited about our booking! It'd be really helpful if you could pay for bookings in other currencies other than USD. Also had some issues with the website when booking with two separate card payments, one card went through but the second didn't, and when I went to amend information it wouldn't let me edit details, so had to refresh page, hoping we wouldn't be charged twice. One more suggestion: it might be useful to have entry/exit/visa etc country information available. Otherwise, happy with Bookit.com!

Went to book and price changed to about 400.00 USD more. I went to go try and book again and got lower price I was looking at, but when you hit BookIt, the price jumps? Now today tried again and when I hit BookIt it stayed the same low price...

I had a bit of trouble completing my booking online, so I called them to check on the booking. The first person I spoke to confirmed that it had gone through and answered all of my questions thoroughly. Then transferred me to another department to book my transfers from airport to resort. He was also very helpful in explaining how to print our transfers. I would definitely BookIt again!

I booked a vacation package on the website and only the flight booked. I had to call customer support to book hotel. On hold for 15 minutes then transferred to some other company and waited another 15 minutes for them to tell me they couldn't help and I had to call BookIt again. On hold for another 20 minutes before speaking to someone. Took over an hour to resolve. Will never use BookIt again and will continue to post terrible reviews.

I am just going to paste the review I sent to BookIt.com- They canceled my Vacation a week after I paid in Full, because the prices went up! PLEASE READ what I wrote to them. I not sure if anyone will even read this or care, but I am going to have my say anyway--- Having Traveled Many, Many Times, through your competitors' websites, Orbitz & Expedia, & we have NEVER had any problems, but this time we decided to give BookIt.com a try for the FIRST time and it has turned out to be a disaster for us! We just got back from a trip booked through Orbitz, and before we left, I booked another trip through BookIt to surprise my husband for our Anniversary in April, We just returned last night to discover when I read Emails, that your Company BOOKIT cancelled our reservations for a 2 week trip that I already Paid for & made all of my arrangements for my work schedule & babysitters, & other appointments!

I booked today around 2pm, a trip to Cancun for my wife and I in July. I booked on their mobile site where it was hard to notice that I was booking a room as a double bed, when I meant to book a king room. Seeing as it was the same day I figured the modification would be simple as it has been for every other site that I've ever used. They claimed that I was trying to make a cancellation and would have to pay $2700+ to cancel. I only wanted a King bed, I never wanted to cancel. It was the same price when I booked. There is plenty of time to make the change (the trip is not for 5 months). Every single other travel site lets you straight up cancel within 24 hours, which I'm not even trying to do. I just want to ensure a king bed for my trip.

Easiest and cheapest way to book. I compared prices to other travel sites and this site saved me hundreds of dollars. Also I had to modify my reservation and it was simple. Great service. I will use this site again for future travel.

I would highly recommend using Bookit for your travel needs. We used them last yr. and everything went perfectly so I of course booked our vacation with them this yr. They are very helpful and accommodating and they stand by their prices, offer nice discounts, check them online and then call them for the best price. After you book if the rate is lower before you leave and you call them they will honor the lower rate. I have no complaints!

I enjoyed the experience of booking with your firm, but did find that I had to read the fine print on several of the hotel features. Items like which size bed a room contains and whether an all inclusive resort has an open bar all day or just at meals seem like they could be represented more clearly.

I purchased 3 different vacations on BookIt. I needed to make changes to 1 booking. I called on a Sunday. Was told to call back Monday because the airfare dept. was closed on the weekends. I called Monday morning at 9:00 am when they opened. After the prompts music came on. I was on hold for 45 min. No one picked up. I tried several more times throughout the day, same thing. I called about 9:00 pm. Waiting 45 min. again and someone finally picked up. I explained to the operator about my frustration and I got, "SORRY. WE WERE BUSY." They couldn't help me with my problem. I needed to push my trip back a few days. I found out I had to pay $200 change fee because of the air they sold me AND I Found the TRIP CHEAPER on another Website. Sorry BookIt our relationship is over. I will not use you anymore. Your customer service is awful!!

We just booked our 3rd vacation with BookIt and we have had only great experiences with them. Also great prices for our 10 day trips !! They have a station at hotels for BookIt if you have any questions. We book round-trip transportation to hotel and airport and it’s made easy.

Booked a 'all inclusive' vacation through BookIt. The price quoted was good and that price was paid at checkout. The process of booking was an easy one. However, when it came time to select seats on the flights, I selected the seats on the BookIt site. The selections didn't take and had to call BookIt for assistance. Was told had to select seats through the airline website.

They couldn’t get us our hotel and was promised a call back before 5 o’clock although we called three times we never got a return phone call. We just booked an all-inclusive stay in Mexico and although there were some issues with the first time the experience was very pleasant. There was an error when we tried to book online and we were instructed to contact via phone. There were more problems at that time as well. We're not able to get the hotel and flight to book at the same time (5 tries). It was recommended that we call back the next day. I will admit I was a bit skeptical at this point, however today was much better. Everything seemed to push right through today without a hitch. I would like to point out that Omar, who was on the phone the first time was very professional and never showed any signs of frustration. He was polite and very helpful. The rep made sure to understand what I wanted and made the effort to check for other flights available. Sorry she was not able to book new flight. That would have made the experience better. The wait time for someone to answer was a bit too long and at one point I even hung up because there was nothing to tell me a rep would be with me.

Used for Hawaii trip but every time I search out a vac now, it says not eligible.

Just booked another trip on on book.it.com. The first during Christmas at Hyatt Ziva in Cancun was fabulous. No snags and everything went smoothly. Can't wait for Negril in March, during Spring break at the Royalton Negril which is suppose to be a new hotel.

Last night around 10.30 P.M. on Feb 2nd, 2018. I book the all inclusive trip to Royalton Saint Lucia Resort and Spa all inclusive with the total of $7,911.00 but when I paid by my MasterCard they said error with booking with error ID: 20260875, so I tried to call agent to pay on the phone. I didn't know somehow she overcharge me $200.00 with the total of: $8,111.00 when I check my email for confirmation.

I've had a great experience with the booking agent. She was pleasant and easy to work with and very knowledgeable. This isn't my first booking. I've done many in the past. And looking forward to booking more vacations through booking. If I had a complaint it would probably be I was put on hold prior to speaking to a representative for almost 15 minutes.

Our planner's name is Zach. We had 3 couples in our group, The other two couples called in before us. When we called there wasn't any open seats on the plane to the location with the other group. He got us on close timed flights and same flights on the way home. Very Happy with what he done; plus he also got a hold of the Hotel to make sure all our rooms would be close to each other and all with King size beds. Very polite and very helpful.

This is the second time I have used BookIt to schedule a trip. The first trip was to Mexico all was great. Had a very nice resort and very good trip. The second trip will be to Punta Cana have not gone on that trip yet but I am convinced it will go well. Very easy and had no issues.

While the experience was easy enough, I booked a certain kind of room (upgraded) and when I received my booking information, I had a completely different room. I called to get it sorted and was told they didn't have any of the upgraded rooms, but was given no apology, offer to figure something else out, or anything. In fact, the lady I spoke to actually tried to upsell me on water activities and transportation after failing to solve my issue. I still don't even know whether I paid more for a better room or not.

Booked an international trip from Austin with a layover in Dallas. I could only check in for the flight to Dallas, the check in for the second flight for which I only had an hour and 15 minutes of layover could not be done, not online neither at the counter, no reason provided, it just couldn't. I was told by a manager of AA that upon my arrival to Dallas I had to look for the first person I see and ask that person to help me and that I had plenty of time??? Without even having the gate number it was such a stressful task but finally arrived at the right gate barely on time. Having a chronic illness that affects my walking did not help either.

If I were scoring this review solely on the assistance provided by Zach the customer service representative I contacted by phone the score would be higher. Zach was delight to work with while completing our booking. We started the process online and complete the booking via the phone call with Zach. What I found to be dissatisfying was that after I had made my booking and began to make the seating selections for the flights I had chosen I was presented with the fact that all of the basic seat on the flight were taken. That forced me into having to select seats that carried an upgrade charge. So what I thought was a really good deal on the package increased in price after the booking was made. This is something I have never experienced with other travel sites. It is something that should have been addressed during the selection stage of the process. It is something I will remember before choosing to use BookIt in the future.

Just booked a trip to Mexico yesterday. Within hours I realized the 10% off offered was not automatically included. I called back within hours. BookIt would not honor the 10% off. They said I had to enter coupon code at time of booking. I found that not being very flexible!

It's sad that when you book early you cannot get a seat selection without having to pay extra per seat each way. Another way for American Airlines to get their hidden fees. This should be made aware of to the booking person at the time of the booking.

I would like to say that the overall experience when booking was nice but I feel like the coupons was too bias for solo travelers. I’m meeting a group of friends and the group is odd in numbers. So I had to book solo. All coupons I tried only worked for two ppl and not one. I could understand if I would of gotten half of the coupon bc I’m booking for one person. Example there was a coupon that I was excited to use $250 off hotel and flight vacation for 5 nights. I would of been happy if I was able to get $125 off bc I booking as a solo traveler. My only recommendations would be coupons for solo traveler too. Thank you.

We booked a week long hotel (Quality Inn Anaheim) stay with BookIt for our son and his family and us (6 people). The website said we would be charged to the reservation in Canadian currency, since that was the option we chose. We realized the extra fees when we arrived would be in US dollars. This was fine with us. However, when we got our credit card bill, we found they charged us for the entire hotel bill in US dollars, $320 more than it was supposed to be. My husband called to try and sort it out. He was actually hung up on by one of the agents, and spent a good half hour being shuffled around and put on hold. Disgusting customer service. We will never use BookIt.com again.

Very bad service, the cancellation policy write in very small fonts. When I realize that it cannot be cancelled after I received the confirmation email in 15 minutes, I called immediately try to cancel it, the agent did not Help to cancel the booking.

In the package I booked there were amenities promised that did not show up on the itinerary of my trip after I booked and paid. I called to see why these had not been included and BookIt.com said there was nothing they could do. I sent them a screenshot of the included items that I took when I booked the trip and still they said they could not honor those items that had “disappeared”. Very upsetting. Things omitted were a included dinner at the premier restaurant that usually is an additional charge (and will be now) and a water ritual at the spa. Very dissatisfied

I spoke to a rep and asked her to help us out in getting us together with my two other friends since their flight was already sold out!!! Not only are we staying in the same hotel but she also got us a much better flight (leaving on the same flight and coming back a few hours later but arriving at the same time at the same airport) less lag time. So I called the 800 number and spoke to a very nice woman who helped me book our vacation. She was very kind and helpful. As it turned out she saved me an additional $350 on our air fare. I was researching tropical beach vacations for late Spring 2018 for our annual 2 week vacation to an All Inclusive Resort. I had booked through BookIt last year for a 14 night stay with airfare included and chose the same resort in Riviera Maya that we had visited the previous year. Obviously we loved the resort and were excited to revisit. We wanted to try a new resort this year and just booked one of the Excellence Adults Only All Inclusive Resorts in Playa Mujeres. All the reviews were positive, I could not find one negative review about the resort.

Very helpful with changing dates to accommodate a different flight to help me save money. Also reminded me to call the insurance phone number to change my insurance to the new booking ID number. With the new booking I saved over $900 dollars on our flight. Was very patient with me to explain the difference between the different suites and to recommend the best fit for our family.

Utilization was excellent and prices were even better. The process was very user friendly. Everything was great except when selecting the seats on the plane. That functionality didn't work and now I'm in limbo. Don't add that step to the process if the site can't do it.

My only concern was being put on hold for over 30 minutes when I was told it would be 3-5 minute hold. Otherwise, customer service reps were courteous and helpful. At times your website seemed to be down or slow in responding.

Website is good to use, the search feature and filters work well and give you a lot of ability to package deals and flights together that you want. We were booking with another couple and we both booked the exact same package at the same time online. Our friends actually submitted their booking shortly before us and there was a glitch in the system and didn't process. Ours went through fine and we booked. They called in to an advisor and all of a sudden the trip price went way up and the flights were no longer available... The advisor tried to help but said it was on the airline's end and nothing they could do... Very disappointed for them and they ended up paying way more for less time. :(

Canceling and Rebooking was a Horror Show. Bookit.com needs a lot of work. Always on hold didn't help, Flight tickets were terrible. Planning a vacation should be easy not very stressful. I'm not sure we would never use Bookit.com again. It all depends on how the service is.

I would never ever use this company as a travel agent again or let any of my friends or family use it! You call and can’t talk to anyone so just get put on hold till you get pissed and hang up! So I started my experience with logging in and filling out our whole trip and submitted my card and the site wouldn’t even go through! Then I called at 6pm at night and sat on hold for two hours until I got pissed and hung up.

Trip was very good for the price I paid, the hotel was very nice and staff was about average. My hotel room had construction going on and the air conditioner was stuck, took a while for serviceman to show up, but problem was resolved. The room need attention on general maintenance issues, like thermostat, loose switches, furniture was rundown.
