My experience with BookIt has been terrific. I recommend this site to everyone that travels. The site is very easy to use and very helpful... but the best part of all is that you can book your trip months ahead and pay it in payments.

I wish the experience was different. I spoke to 5 individuals today trying to get information on changing my flight because of a death my family and each time I got different information. Because of this I was going back and forth with BookIt and Caribbean airline. I wish information's as clearer. At one point I was told... "If you added on insurance on your flight then you wouldn't have to be going through this process." That wasn't necessary. Then I went on another call. I ask to speak to a manager, I was told "Manager is just going to give you the same information" even though I wanted to talk about my call earlier. I only made payment because I have to go to this funeral, but I hope no one else has to go through this experience.

We understand that sometimes the unexpected happens and we are always more than happy to assist you with rearranging your travel plans. However, airlines do charge a cancellation and/or modification penalty in accordance with their own policies. Bookit.com was easy to use and the Grand Palladium Resort was nice. But there was no mention on BookIt or the resorts’ site about the seaweed that has plagued the beach. It was very disappointing to pay all the money we did and not be able to enjoy the beach. The water was clearer in New Jersey.

BookIt.com made it really easy and affordable to book my trip and they let you make payments. Over the course of several weeks they give you dates as to when they take the money out. Without this I would not be able to go to Jamaica to see my best friend get married!

Booking with Bookit.com was frustrating due to the fact that checking resort prices a few times at different resorts and returning back to the resort that we decided to book a few times prior to the actual booking the price fluctuated and ended up being more.

Our helper stayed on the line with us while we dealt with a bank issue. She was so helpful and kind. She saved our vacation that day. I was grateful to have someone so helpful. She made a stressful bank issue work out for me in the end, especially since there was only two of the packages I wanted left. She really went above and beyond.

Mariami was more than helpful trying to check different airlines and schedules. She was incredibly polite - it is very rare, nowadays!! - and she immediately understood the purpose of the trip trying to make it as easy as possible for me. She sent her email and I could directly ask her a follow-up question I had. I spoke with another gentleman at some point- I cannot remember his name - but he was incredibly polite as well, never interrupting, listening, asking the right questions. Customer service is amazing! I'll come back just for that!

We have used BookIt last year and was very pleased with results. This past Sunday we worked with Codia. She was wonderful. We will booking for ourselves and our Son and girlfriend also. So it was double reservation. She helped us completely and had patience thru the booking process and I can’t say enough about her knowledge and trying to figure out the best for us.

Been using this site for years and it’s still my favorite. The costs, the pictures and reviews have been dead on. And a piece of advice, if the majority of the reviews are great, ignore the one off either snooty review or just negative person. Enjoy!

When our plans unexpectedly changed, a very polite and professional service member handled our request to add two more people to our travel plans. She took the extra time to get our airline tickets and the hotel straightened out for us over the phone. We actually ended up getting a nicer room than we originally anticipated. This was our second time to use BookIt for our travel arrangements. Happy both times.

Great deal but when I booked online, my reservation only booked the airline and I was instructed to call to book the hotel. The first customer service rep was unable to find the right hotel, then could only see the two most expensive rooms at the property and said I would have to book the hotel myself somehow. But that would have left me unable to take advantage of the package pricing. She offered absolutely no help or solutions, blamed her computer program and was snotty. I called again and received WONDERFUL customer service from a gentleman who got me a room with the original package pricing and using the same authorization on my credit card so I wouldn't be authorized multiple times. I'm so glad I called back and got somebody else.

Excited to be celebrating our 27th Wedding Anniversary in Cancun! We saw a great deal in Cancun late yesterday evening in our inbox and had to book it! The reason we give our experience a 4 and not a 5 is because we accidentally "auto filled" one of our names, twice and needed to contact customer service early this morning to remove and correct the name. We ended up having to call back 3 times, due to the other prior reps "hanging up"/"being disconnected" and not calling back. Thank God, the 3rd rep, SHARON, did a SUPER JOB!!! Although, after 30 mins the phone "disconnected", she called us back. She was very courteous and was able to resolve the "name change". Thank you SHARON and BookIt for hiring a great rep!!!

We just booked our 21st Anniversary trip with BookIt.com and I have to say it way a very easy, enjoyable experience! We have always gone through Apple Vacations for our trips but they don't book the Excellence brand resorts so I was fearful about doing this on our own. We found an amazing deal for a two story suite with a terrace rooftop and plunge pool at the Excellence Riviera Maya, which we had actually gone to for our 8th Anniversary and have been wanting to go back but always too expensive. After I did everything online I had a few questions and their rep Crystal was so helpful and courteous with me. I will leave another review after our trip as well. Thank you Bookit!

Both Ashley and Anika were able to correct my reservation, get my cancellation fee waived and add the transportation Vouchers. I had to ask Ashley to try to get the fees waived, but once I did, she got after it. It did take some time, but I expected that. Nice work!

Site is fairly easy to use. Second time user. So far so good. No problems as of yet. Best part is you can see previous bookings... Booking earlier obviously get you the better prices... Both times I have gone to Cozumel Palace in Cozumel also no problems.

Tried several times to submit my mobile discount and it would not accept my code for my Playa Mujeres vacation. I started submitting it and hour and a half before the deadline and had no luck...PKGMOBILE225 can you explain why? We have stayed with Playa Mujeres twice before and each time had an excellent experience and love this all inclusive.

I needed help with my airplane ticket. I felt like soon as I made my payment I was left out in the cold when I needed help. I called several times and no one was able to help me. When I called the airlines they helped me upgrade my plane ticket.

Booked a trip to Antigua back in March. Had bad snow storm flight. Was canceled and next flight was 4 days later so we booked a different flight on different airline so we didn’t lose 4 days of our trip. Long story short it’s now August. Airline refunded money to Bookit.com who is supposed to refund us 500$. Now they just give us the runaround and keep asking for more info and still 5 months no refund. For all the aggravation and time trying to get a simple refund I feel they should refund the whole trip!!! Bookit.com is one of the worst companies I’ve dealt with. Steer clear. Avoid the headaches with this company!!! I wish I could give negative stars.

My experience was okay. I just did not understand why a couple friends of mine from Los Angeles, CA got a better deal flying out of LA on the same day, at the same resort, for the same amount of days. I asked the question and what the associate said that it was because they (my friends) had booked their all inclusive vacation a week before I did. Come on! One week difference! They are flying from a farther away city than me, and I pay close to $300.00 dollars more?

I booked a room listed as "adults only" on the room type description for a hotel that has a family-friendly portion and an adults-only portion of the hotel. After contacting the hotel, I was told our reservation was booked for the family-friendly side. I contacted Bookit and was told they would contact the hotel on my behalf to secure the adults-only room and call me back within a few days. I did not receive a return call. I called Bookit again today and was told that they received a reply from the hotel (again, I was not contacted) and that the hotel considers persons 13+ to be adults. Since the legal age in both the US and Mexico is 18, it is extremely misleading to state that a room is "Adults only" when it, in fact, allows minors. In no area is the 13+ description offered on the Bookit listing page for the Hyatt Ziva Cancun Resort.
Additionally, since the listing information on the Bookit website is completely misleading, I asked about the refund options. I was told that only about $2300 of my $3200 booking would be refunded since the rest was due to now-nonrefundable airfare. However, if I go to the website now and search for rates for the hotel only, the cost is $3300. While I understand that bundle packages lead to discounted rates, it seems absurd that the proportion between hotel and airfare is skewed as much as was relayed to me.
In summary, I feel that Bookit dramatically misrepresented the room types available to purchase through their site and their partner hotel is unwilling to honor the falsely stated information. I believe the refund costs have been manipulated to reduce the amount that could be allocated back to me. My hope is that a representative will reach out to remedy this situation and help us secure the promised adults-only lodging type at our hotel of choice. If not, I will be requesting a refund in full and publishing our negative experience in other locations.
Updated on 07/31/2018: I left a negative review of Bookit.com yesterday with the title "Misrepresented room type". Bookit replied publicly to the review stating that "In looking at your review now we see that everything was sorted out". However, no changes were made to my booking nor did any representative contact me whatsoever. The issue is not resolved, as they would like to make it seem. I did send a private reply asking for clarification on how things were "sorted out" and am awaiting contact from a Bookit representative. I will gladly update with another review should the matter be actually resolved.

I was a little worried about booking through a third party like BookIt, but it turned out to be a total non-issue. Everything went perfectly smooth. I booked the hotel and the transport to/from the resort with them and all was exactly as I'd planned. I'd use them again for sure if their price was better than booking direct.

Booking a trip wasn't difficult but, we used coupon pkgmobile225. It showed discount on my phone as accepted. After finishing the booking, coupon amount was no longer there and charged full price. We immediately call and they could not help us. They said the booking could not be altered without cancelling it and having to pay a cancelling charge. Very disappointed in a company that should be more professional and helpful in this situation. If this cannot be resolved we will not be using BookIt in the future.

Had trouble booking a vacation, tried to split the payment with two cards. Got an Error but charged one card, but not for the full amount. Long story short I had to wait 2-3 days for the pending charges to clear, and if you cancel the flight part FYI 7-10 business day to refund the money! Was not told that by the Representative just keep this in mind if this happens to you.

We've booked our last two trips through BookIt and have had a seamless experience. The site allows you to view any hotel and a calendar to select your travel dates while viewing the rates. I've been using BookIt.com for my international travels now for over 7 years. In doing so I've found my experience to be convenient using their site. After many days of frustratingly searching online and making phone calls to plan the best financial and experiential decision for our next vacation, I came upon BookIt.com. They offered a comparable rate for hotel and flight for my family of 4. The site was easy to use and I was able to select preferred flights as well as hotel. I was even able to email to myself or someone else what I was searching. Cool feature!
After signing up with them I received a $100 new member coupon (not sure if it expires and you can only use one at a time). As booking a vacation for a family of 4 is not cheap, I was glad that a payment plan option was available. I liked that I did not have to open up a line of credit and before I selected the trip the breakdown was itemized. This helped me make an informed decision. (If you are splitting the payment with someone else, there's an option for that, too. It seems that they thought of everything.) I hope to be able to book through this company again!

The representative I spoke with tried her best to be helpful. However, it took almost four hours on the phone to somewhat rectify the problems with my reservation. When I booked, I had a nonstop flight, when the reservation was finalized and itinerary set, I had a flight on a completely different airline with stops. On top of that, the price was significantly higher. Four hours later and a call from a manager - the situation was mostly rectified, though I did end up $270 short of where it all originally began. This is the first reservation I have ever made with BookIt.com. Sadly, I will be returning back to Expedia and Travelocity as I have booked with both several times and never had a problem with a reservation.

Very quick and easy to book. The option to make multiple payments was a huge factor in us being able to make this reservation. The $25 cancellation fee was also a very determining factor. 4 different families are traveling with us and every one of us used this website :).

I was stranded in the middle of the night in a new city some time ago, because BookIt arranged ground transportation to get me to the hotel... transport that didn't exist. It took me a while to give them another chance. I made the mistake of once again trying to get transportation from the airport in the Grand Cayman to the Resort then back again. When I asked about where our shuttle was I was told the company BookIt arranged hadn't been in business for almost a year. (Shouldn't they be making sure these companies are still in business?)
Well, we were left scrambling once again to find transportation and then when I asked for my money back for the shuttle. BookIt tells me they need to get in touch with a now nonexistent company before I can get my money back. They had no problem taking my money but can't give me my refund until they hear back from this company. I won't let you leave me stranded for a third time BookIt!!! Another great vacation made stressful because of BookIt.

Using the website is pretty easy. I did encounter some technical difficulties, but it only caused a delay and I was still about to book the trip. I've had good experiences in the past. However, it is customary to receive a confirmation email after booking or purchasing something online. An international trip was booked and all I received was this survey and an email asking if I want to cancel since they claimed I had the wrong airport (I don't). Also, in the email they claimed to have been attempting to call me and they have not.

My experience completed my objective. Trying to do it online for more than 9 guests is not worth the time or effort. You just need to call. Filling out the form and waiting us not worth the time. I told the specific resort and they never replied with the one I wanted until I called.

A friend told me about BookIt she recently Mx. I do think agents need more training when giving the customer all the details regarding reservation. The first 2 agents were AWESOME! I had to modify my room. The gentleman I spoke with just did not have the service I required. You need to be told that the reservation can change modified. They had to run my card 3 times.

They are a bunch of thiefs...you will have an issue with booking your vacation... I added my 2 year old into reservation and it was not added on their end and I was penalized with the current rate... Make sure you check your reservation so there are no surprises.

I was very excited in the beginning to find a great deal and all inclusive packed for my Tulum, Mexico vacation with my husband. What I didn't expect is that every single thing from transportation, to luggage, seats on flight, hidden cost is charging you an arm and an leg on top of your package. I spend $2600 for my vacation package + $126 for transportation from airport to hotel + another $400 for 1 luggage per person and seats on roundtrip flight. I'm sure they are more hidden fees coming up when I get to my hotel. I wish I booked through someone else, because this is not what I had in mind. Now I really hope my hotel is going to nice and it's really all inclusive like I paid for.

We recently booked a trip to Cabos, and before we booked it we call BookIt.com to verify if the hotel was an all inclusive resort and they said it was. We decided to go ahead and book the trip with them. When we got to our hotel they told us it was not all inclusive. The lady at the hotel let us call BookIt to verify and the customer service lady was very rude and didn’t offer any other options. The pictures of the hotel were deceiving along with their advertisements. We will never use this website again to do our future travels.

My family of 5 was very disappointed with our experience. The property turned out to be a timeshare, information not indicated anywhere in the description. This was not the experience we were looking for. Aside from that, it was a nice property and very clean. Employees were pleasant and helpful. Food was mediocre and the beach was not great - rocky and lots of seaweed.

I received a paid receipt. No reservation date. Not comfortable at all with that. Doesn't even have my name on it. We recently had an issue where the hotel we booked in Mexico was supposed open on December 1, 2018. And reviewing their website it was changed for them to open on March 31, 2019. We called BookIt and they change this to a hotel of our choice and the service was excellent and the booking was smooth with no issues at all.

It said discount will apply at the end and it never did. I'm very dissatisfied with that false advertising, there wasn't even a spot where tonout the code or discount. False advertising on that end of the deal. Don't know if I will use this website again for that reason of saying discount but I never got the coupon discount.

I booked an all inclusive 4 night trip for my husband and myself to Cozumel. The website very clearly said that the package included round-trip airfare. Once I received the confirmation email, it said nothing about airfare and I received another email asking about my flight information. I called to find out what was wrong and was told that the package did not include airfare and the customer service representative was rude and not helpful. She told me that I would have to spend another $800 on airfare. Thank God for trip insurance.

I recently booked a trip for two adults and two children to Montego Bay Jamaica. I had a concern originally as it only listed two adults on the room as the Hilton Rose Hall charges extra for kids when arriving at the hotel if you book directly with the Hilton. The first representative I spoke with before booking assured me that the Hilton will NOT charge me extra when I arrive and if they try to to contact BookIt as they will resolve it for me. Once I booked the trip, again I called out of concern and the first person disconnected from me. I then called back and spoke with someone who assured me of the same so I will post again once I arrive in late July for our trip to update if there were any problems. I have used BookIt a few times over the years but this is the first international trip I believe I’ve used them for.

One reason why we came to Punta Cana was for the water and it's been very dark and dirty and we were not informed of that. We s exception if we can go to the other dreams and were told we need to pay $55 for the day. We are very dissatisfied with this decision. We will never be visiting Punta Cana ever again. Somehow; my flight was booked from Baltimore but I live in Phoenix. They claim I booked it from there. Really!!! I've booked several flight for several years (20 plus years - online) and have never had this happen before. Just admit it was an error on the 3rd party site. We tried for several hours to find a good price for a trip with and without all inclusive. Several other sites offered really cheap hotel deals and had absorbent all inclusive fees. This was the only site that offered round trip air, great location and only marginal fees to upgrade to all-inclusive. After several hours of trying to do better, we came back to this listing and was still able to book it 24 hours later at the original price we were quoted. If it all works as planned, this could be one of the best vacations ever.

Recently, my husband and I booked a trip to The Bahamas. After much discussion and "shopping" for a hotel we made the effort to choose flights, hotel, etc and to book the trip. An error message came up to call the number. As it turned out, there, were, in fact, no rooms available at the chosen hotel. The gentlemen I spoke with was polite and apologetic, but he assured me the hotel would be unlisted as we spoke (it was still up an hour and a half later). DO NOT USE Bookit.com. Their website has glitch. I booked package, all inclusive, come to find out, flight and dates of stay are impossible due to glitch. I after $4000 package with flight, and I had to pay extra $1700 for transportation to & from airport as well as cut my paid stay off day and get another hotel rm so my family could catch flight. Customer service is completely incompetent, rude, and really does not understand basic rsvp.

I am not able to upgrade my airline tickets through United because of a restriction on our tickets, per United. United advised us that we would need to contact Bookit directly. I called the Bookit Customer Service line and I spoke with a gal that was not happy to speak with me. I asked her about upgrading my seats and she told me I needed to contact United, which I had did previously and then I told her about the restriction. She put me on hold for 2 or 3 mins... then came back and said she wasn’t able to help and that I needed to contact United again or go on the website.
I explained that I had did both and then she asked, "Is there anything else..??" I just got pissed and said no because she was absolutely no help to me. This was the worst customer service experience especially considering I just spent 2800 of my hard earned money for my well deserved vacation. I have used you guys in the past for another vacation and spent even more. To know that the folks you have working for you treat your customers as if the revenue you guys earn that I contribute to... doesn’t mean anything? Crazy!!! Get it together.

I love that there is an option to do pay delay. After I booked my trip I wasn't given a confirmation number. I thought my reservations didn't go through. Later checked my email and there was my reservation. I'm excited to go on my solo vacation at the new Reef 28, an all adult place.

Let me preface by saying that I have never in my life wrote a review of any company or restaurant unless it was positive. I believe if you have nothing nice to say, don't say anything. However, in this case, the circumstance is very different. I will be all over social media, Facebook, Yelp, Instagram, you name it... describing my experience from yesterday.
Back in April I used Bookit.com at the advice of a friend. It was my first time. I booked a trip to the Bahamas that is coming up in 3 1/2 weeks. It turns out that the price that I paid in April is substantially less now. When I went back on Bookit to put in the same dates, same room, and same hotel, the pricing was $2,000 less for the hotel. I called Bookit twice and they told me both times that my reservation was nonrefundable and the price is the price. First of all, I would NEVER book a trip that is non refundable especially 3 months in advance. If it did read that somewhere while I was booking, you can bet I NEVER saw it. Secondly, I was NOT looking to cancel my reservation. I wanted them to meet the price that they have advertised now. They refused. My receipt reads "Hotel Terms and Conditions" "All cancellations will be considered non-refundable." I did not ask for my reservation to be cancelled. I asked for them to meet the same price they have advertised.
I have contacted my attorney, as I believe this was not made clear when I initially booked the trip. I am very upset as I feel duped and robbed by this company. For all of your protection, DO NOT use this site. How dare they try and rob me of $2,000. Any place that you call, whether it be JetBlue, travel company etc. etc. if you call asking for a price adjustment, they happily give it to you. I am so angry and upset that this company thinks they can get away with this. I will fight this to the end.

Everything would've been wonderful but when I landed in LA I had no clue who my rental car was through and getting that info was difficult. My flight was a 12 hour nightmare, the last thing I needed was this aggravation. I loved the service until I didn't.

As a BookIt Member you'll receive add'l specials and discount offers. We've been watching the San Jose del Cabo hotel specials and finally decided to book our trip because the rates offered were excellent and two free round-trip shuttle airport transportation was included. Would have considered air with this booking but there wasn't an option to upgrade to premium class on the airlines. Not sure if you could call the airline after confirmation of booking. It would be a nice feature to offer seat upgrades when booking hotel and air together. We decided to book our own and use a companion discount and/or miles as we wanted to sit in premium class. Total cost worked about to be the same as we have better seat options. We look forward to upcoming trip and hope our hotel rooms selected will be exactly as described on BookIt site.

BookIt made it easy to book our honeymoon. Their website was easy to navigate and offered lots of options on rooms to book that many other websites don't. Their customer service is good as well. They were accommodating of our honeymoon plans, adding on a honeymoon package to our room at no extra charge. The following day, I received an email about adding on transportation to and from the airport, which is so important when traveling to a foreign country. We really appreciate their attention to detail, and are so looking forward to our honeymoon coming up this fall!

I'm planning a trip to Negril, Jamaica and wanted to be on 7 mile beach. BookIt.com was able to get me an all-inclusive reservation at Grand Pineapple for $78 a night! On the beach side. (Beware the garden side of this hotel is across the road.) Other sites had the rate at $130 or even higher. I highly recommend Bookit.com.

I was told I could book roundtrip airport transportation for a single passenger separately with the activity department but was then denied and told to find my own transportation through other companies. I will think twice before I use BookIt again.

Received email ad with discount code, and you suckered me good. After hitting back button 2x and not seeing promo code or airport shuttle option, these options weren't on pay screen either. When called to rectify, told too late for coupon code but can pay for shuttle??? Having used you I have learned my lesson, and will be complaining and warning friends and family. Discount code pulled me in, but the scam will keep me away next time. Shameful.

Book the hotel it clearly gave me the option to prepay the hotel fees and taxes. Click on the options was double charge for it again at the hotel. Call them and they gave me the BS that is their charge for the hotel fees, so I told them, "Oh I didn’t know you own a hotel to charge me for that?" After I told them that he said, "Oh give me a sec. Ahh it’s a fee we actually charge not for the hotel just Bookit fees. Don’t book any trips here they are overcharging for extra unknown fees.

We went to Catalonia Riviera Maya all inclusive with BookIt last year (May 2017) and had a wonderful vacation. The trip included air, hotel transportation, excursion to Chichen Itza. The online reservation process was easy. All the vouchers needed were sent in my email. The personnel they used in Mexico were all professional. Anything and everything we needed to travel internationally was clearly communicated. We had such a wonderful time that we booked the same trip/resort thru BookIt again for this Sept. 2019.

Agent Rachkel, was exceptional - she was extremely patient and thoughtful as transaction wouldn't go through due to computer problems at Wells Fargo; she was also clear and made great suggestions. On another note, I noticed price for exact dates, room and flights dropped $130 overnight and I called - found no price matching - even with Bookit's own rates. Disappointed as Expedia does match - and I usually use Expedia, thought I'd try Bookit. Clearly a big distinction in important benefits between the two.

My second time to use BookIt.com and I am going on my 3rd phone call of the day because I am reading reviews over the internet about the package deal I booked for over $4000...to a hotel over 10 years old and it is a time share. Majority of the hotels on this website are timeshares. For sure I am cancelling my entire trip and booking through a legit website. These website and the people working for them are total fakes.

Customer service was horrible, I changed my hotel and found accommodations, however they charged me more and wouldn’t honor what the site had. I spoke to numerous reps problem was never resolved. I will never recommend or use this site again!

I requested the Luxury hotel and was booked at the Principal. Please fix. I spoke to an agent and I waited over 13 mins. with no resolution. There is not a fast response team to help fix the problem. Several calls were made long wait times. Unacceptable.

I went through everything to book my hotel and airfare bundle and all was going well, the price was very good compared to other sites I have dealt with in the past regarding this same trip and the airlines times and class availability was spot on. Now came the problem, I get all the way through to the page where I choose my seating on my flights and it kept telling me that there was some sort of error and couldn't continue, I tried many many times with the same result.
So I called the toll free number and spoke to a man that had a hard time understanding my situation, then he finally comprehended my plight, which in turn, prompted him to transfer me to another department to which I spoke with a woman and she proceeded to tell me that it wasn't her department and she couldn't be of any help to me and told me to call the airlines directly or call back the next day when someone would be in the airlines customer service department and could help me then. Wasn't at all satisfied with the way I was passed around only to find out no one could help me. So I eventually went to the airlines web site and was able to finish my seating arrangements for all my flights.

The pay delay is a great option they provide and although I haven’t used it I believe it’s very accommodating.
