For the second trip, after days of scouring every site, BookIt had the most options AND the lowest prices. I also noticed that this site was the most comprehensive. Some sites only had 'their' brands, and the same for others. It made a genuine comparison difficult. Not the case with these guys. Thanks BookIt!!

BookIt has struck a great balance between consistently great pricing and great service. Their online search and booking is easy to use and intuitive even for folks who aren't tech savvy. Their customer service is knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. The one improvement that would help is a standardization of the information provided for each resort and then possibly a comparison tool.

Easy to make arrangements, however, did not realize that I had to pay the full amount instead of the deposit. The payment plan included a $5 charge per payment, but you had to read the very fine print. Seemed like a good price but only time will tell.

I was pleased how the agent was so patient when my husband's credit card didn't work, I ran a few blocks home to get my credit card and she called back at the exact time she said she would and she got us all taken care of. BookIt hires friendly very qualified people. Thanks again.

The site was super easy to use with a lot of information about the resort and amenities. The prices are the lowest I’ve seen and I’m a travel shopper. I am on a lot of travel sites and by far this is the best one.

During the initial conversation we were told to upgrade the with the airline we would have to call AA, when I called AA I was told they could not help me and that I had to call BookIt. When booking the room we had to get the standard package and to change or upgrade we would have to call back, surprise, surprise, open the wallet real wide... The cost is per person, not just the cost, a different room, again, open wide... When I called back to upgrade the AA ticket, "Oops, we're closed for the day." So much for help 24/7.

The most irritating part of booking has been when I call the 800 # to ask very simple questions and the agent on the phone doesn’t know how the answer to anything. It wastes my time and is rather frustrating.

Booking was fairly easy as we have used BookIt in the past. Will use it again in the future to book vacations in Mexico. This was our first time booking with a group and seems all went smoothly for everyone.

I will say Customer Service were very nice but the process was terrible. I booked a hotel, flight, airport transfer and excursion package and immediately get a notice along the lines of “there was a problem processing your package. The flight was not able to be confirmed. Call us immediately.” I called and they weren’t open. So I called at 8am and 9am went through the prompts to the previous reservations-then flights AND... they aren’t open according to the message... it’s a non-holiday Monday!!!
So I called again and went through the new reservation prompts. I get a hold of someone and they initially don’t want to talk to me because I’m not a traveler on the reservation (I purchased as a gift for my son and husband). We work through that and realize not only was the flights not on there neither were the excursions. So they refund the $$ for the flights (why was I charged for them in the first place??) and they say it will take 10-12 days for the refund (they take it out of your account in 2, mind you). So they help me rebook the flights—same flights I had reserved and they were $200 cheaper makes me wonder why I’m paying for their “great” rates.
By this time we have been on the phone for 30 minutes and I make sure he has my number in case we get disconnected so he can call me back. He assured me he did and he would. So we start working on the excursion issue and I’m like this has been such a hassle I think you should comp some off this. He says “ma’am I’ll take care of you”. We are working through it and get disconnected at 40 minutes in to the call. I wait because he said he will call back. I wait 3 hours and no call.
I call back AGAIN take the same backdoor route to talk to someone and I’m talking to this rep to get the excursions/transportation set up. And by this time I’m REALLY unhappy—this was supposed to be a seamless process! We are getting everything set up and again I bring up comp’ing part of it and she says they can’t do that because they have to pay a 3rd party vendor. Now I’ve been on the phone for a total of an hour. So I’m like you know what, cancel all of it, the customer service is TERRIBLE! She won’t let me because I’m not the primary traveler—No kidding, it’s a GIFT!
So at this point I pay for it giving out my credit card info once again. They haven’t even gone on the trip yet—which might be great. But I am Inclined to already NEVER use them again. They have great reviews but I have clearly not experienced that. To top it off, I ask for them to send a confirmation email of the hotel... which now they can’t do for whatever reason, but they never sent it in the first place because of the flight debacle.

Booked a vacation for Thanksgiving and unfortunately had to cancel in less than 24hrs. The whole process was done online and the penalty nor refund policy was ever mentioned prior to cancelling. I cancelled and was sent an email stating that the hotel would charge a $25 penalty and the flights were refundable...great, or so I thought...I log in to Bookit.com and see that only the flights were going to be refunded. WHAT A RIPOFF!!! The hotel had already sent me a confirmation email confirming a refund because they only charged a penalty ($25) and Bookit.com had sent me the same info via email...
I call Bookit.com and the rep very angrily said I had a nonrefundable package. Very contradictory if you ask me. I thought that the cancellation policy was dependent on the hotel's policy. Have used bookit.com in the past and NEVER had any issues with them. I will never use them again. I can't believe they would rip me off for over $800 having cancelled in less than 24 hours.

We hear you and understand but all cancellation fees charged directly by the Property and the Airlines are located in the lodging terms and conditions which are available for review prior to booking. Great service and very nice consultant! The only thing I can complain about is that it would have been nice to have more information related to the hotel and the area we choose. Consultants should have more knowledge on the product they sell so they can give tips and advices.

Very good customer service and prices but I don’t like the idea of cancellation fee. After booking usually hotels give a certain time of free cancellations. Also you get 24 hours of free cancellation on flight but with BookIt charges of $25 may apply after the reservation is made if any cancellation.

I booked a trip online in less than 10 minutes. If you phone in expect at least 30 minutes, if not longer. It is much easier to type in your name and information than giving to a person over the phone. Great website.

I initially booked a package for November 15-22, but once I booked it, I realized those dates wouldn't work. I tried to change the booking, but ended up canceling the entire booking and paying the $50 cancellation fee because I didn't want to have to try to change the airfare separately. I did rebook the same package for different dates and wish the company would refund my $50.

I was not happy that I had to pay $25 to change hotels during the same dates 7 months before the trip. Then the rep lied and told me that it would be added to the booking but she took it off my credit card. It’s not about the $25 it’s the principle.

Booked trip to Mexico. About 1 week later found that same trip had dropped in price almost 700 dollars. Contacted BookIt.com by phone and they worked with me and dropped price for me. Vacation is not till November but I don't think any problems will arise but if it does I am sure they will help work through everything. Good job BookIt.

I booked a room through them and they had my card information on hand. I changed my mind on the room and cancelled it so it was done so no problems. I got the email it was cancelled. The next day my card was ran through 7x. They cleaned my whole account out over reservations I do not make at these other hotels. Another hotel calls and said I missed my reservation of 3??? I didn't even book once at this hotel or use my card for it. BookIt took my money for rooms that were charged without my consent and refuse to refund my money after I spoke with them. The hotels they said call them since I booked BookIt.com about the fraudulent activity. They still refuse to refund me. SO STEER CLEAR OF THIS SITE. THEY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY. IF I HAVE TO GET AHOLD OF THE FEDERAL PART I WILL.

I booked a trip through BookIt.com but couldn't get first class air through American to add to my trip. I called customer service and they were a great help telling me to book airfare through airlines direct and they would wait on phone and then they would adjust all inclusive hotel price to match my online quote. Very helpful customer service. I am using them again next year!

I tried with an agent for 2 days to book a particular room posted on their website. It kept saying error. No explanation why. They tried to call this hotel to see why but couldn't reach someone. I insisted on talking to a supervisor and they kept saying they could help me. So the agent said maybe the hotel is blocking it with that particular room. If that's the case then take it off your website or give me the difference of a more expensive room. They say no. The frustration and hours on phone is insane. They should be responsible of a posting on their site. This was a terrible experience.

Unico Resort - The website indicated a king bed with ocean view for 6 nights, but the hotel would not honor the room. Instead, I was forced to book a double bed with ocean view for over 200 dollars more. This was not right. BookIt.com should take responsibility for this error. I was on the phone for many hours over two days with still no appropriate solution.

I booked hotel for 16 days... Needed to modify it to 1 days... Was told I would get the same daily room charge... but received confirmation which showed you raised the rate over 50% per day. Now I have had to cancel the whole booking and leaves me with little confidence in the veracity of your statements and representations.

There is a lot of pop-ups and it can be difficult to get where I want to go. Usually gives you several choices in different price ranges. You can get the information of the rooms easily. The ratings help to know what it will be like.

We booked an all-inclusive. The confirmation email didn't say it was all inclusive. We called BookIt and were told "yes, you're fine." We called the hotel to confirm that and found out we did not, but for $1300 more you can buy it. No Thanks. Kicker is BookIt.com charged us $50 to cancel the hotel. We booked a hotel ourselves so we are taken care of, but bummed at getting information that was not correct.

My customer service rep was very helpful. Before I booked I asked about càncellation insurance and I was told after I booked I would get transferred to that department. When I spoke to the insurance rep I was told I did not qualify as I lived in Canada. My booking agent should have told me this when I asked initially and she knew I was from Canada.

I had a great experience booking with BookIt. My customer service representative was so helpful and very nice. She was attentive and really cared about every aspect of planning my trip. I felt like it was a good decision to call because I wanted the human experience of booking a hotel. Beware: BookIt will only price match hotels, not bundle packages. When I inquired about the lower price they had on their website and other travel websites within the 24 hour request, they wouldn’t price match because Even Though it was a “top ten” it wasn’t a “preferred” hotel. Very disappointed with the misleading “price match guarantee.” Always a loophole.

We do offer our guest's a best price guarantee for BookIt.com hotels listed as "Best Rate Guarantee" properties and attempt to match prices for all submissions, however there are some exceptions in which we are unable to honor the request such as in your case. We have always used a travel agent for our excursions, after our exceptional service from Book-It, we will never do that again! Anita was our representative and was simply amazing. A breath of fresh air to speak to someone in the US that had a great knowledge of the trips and benefits available to us. She took her time, was courteous and simply enjoyable. The agent I spoke to was incredibly kind and helpful and made an aggravating issue less annoying. But I should not have had to call. I’ve booked a flight and hotel package and when I called the hotel to book some extra things they had no existing reservation for me. As a result I spent my entire lunch hour on the phone/on hold trying to confirm my reservation through you and them. That’s unacceptable. I booked my travel on September 24 and called September 30. That’s plenty of time to get things squared away between yourself and a resort. This is the first time I have used your site and this does not leave me feeling very confident in my choice. Your three stars all go to the agent. She was great. Wish I could remember her name.

It’s great! Ever since I used BookIt for the first time, I haven’t gone back to another booking site. Bookit allows you to plan everything for your trip on their website. Hotel, flight, transportation, and excursions! There’s no need to look endlessly at different websites to complete your trip. Everything is super secure, and safe. The pay delay option is amazing! The online customer service is always quick, easy, the people are knowledgeable and eager to help.

Terrible customer service! Found the same resort with the same room for more than $200 cheaper on their own website less than 24 hrs after booking and they refused to match the price for some stupid reason. Not to mention getting through to someone on the phone was very difficult as calls kept getting disconnected. Very frustrating experience! I do not recommend using Bookit!

Booked all inclusive on line. Showed hotel, flights, and car. After booking it showed that car was reserved but not included! Called immediately to customer service. Explained situation and that site showed inclusion of car but only after booking was complete did it show added cost for car. I asked for a credit or at least a call from management.
It’s been a week now and nobody replied! It shows INCLUDED at car on website! I had just booked a vacation with this site 4 months ago and went to same hotel, same airport, same car rental, same everything without any problems. This seems like a bait and switch technique! I’m still waiting to hear something from Bookit.com. This is the first wedding anniversary we have been able to afford in 17 yrs! It was supposed to be a celebration! How sad to be taken advantage of! I really just expected to get what it says I’m supposed to get! What a drag it is when you ca n’t get a company to be accountable! It’s just not right! Aruba Vacation - So far this has been easy and I believe I got a really good deal. Only issue is the confirmed booking receipt does not state exactly what the room is supposed to be (king ocean view with balcony), so when we get there if hotel does not honor, we will not have much to go on. Will know more after the trip in late February.

They offered me a very attractive deal for a price of $2920 USD. The agent who booked my ticket, she told me that your credit card would be charged approx. $3800 CAD. But, I have been charged $3900. This is fraud and liars. I am trying to contact them and resolve the issue and every time they say we will call you back to resolve the issue and will check why you have been charged $3900. But till now I have not heard anything from this company and I call them daily to check the progress. But no one is willing to resolve the issue. This website is a fraud and does not honor what their agents tell you. Please think twice before making any kind of booking. If somebody wants to listen more about it they can always contact me. This was the first time using Bookit.com and the LAST... We booked the trip in April 2018, the trip was to take place in Sept 2018. Twice during that time we received an email stating to check our flight prior to departure because there was a change. We could clearly see that the first flight was departing a couple hours later, (not a big deal). Two days prior to leaving, we printed everything out and upon reviewing we noticed that they had us departing CABO the same time we were to depart Los Angeles to get home. I called Bookit and after being transferred a couple times I was told it was not their fault and that I should have checked my flight in July... SERIOUSLY... making it my fault!!
I immediately went online and found us a flight out of Los Angles with South West, costing us $164.00 per ticket so about $350.00 ABOVE what I already paid for the package! I decide that this is unacceptable, I call back the next day. After being transferred 5 TIMES, one of those times was to Alaska Airlines because Bookit was blaming the airline saying it was them that made the update, however the airline could not help because it was booked through Bookit (third party). Everyone said the only thing they could do is cancel ALL OF THE FLIGHTS, and I could get my own flight arrangements! REALLY!!! 2 DAYS BEFORE I LEAVE!! Yeah that was not an option, The other option was a 24 hour layover in Los Angeles... WOW!!
First I get blamed for the "misconnecting" flight because I didn't confirm my flight 3 months prior. Cancel the flight portion. 24 layover. Spent at least 2 hours being transferred around and repeating my story (terrible customer service). YOU'RE GOING TO LIKE THIS: Finally I get transferred back to the guy I talked to the first day. He remembered me, and said, "Sorry there is nothing we can do for you." I asked to speak to his manager's manager, this is when I started to get upset, he put me on hold and came back and said... "We will give you $100 credit back, and $100 coupon to use with us next time you book" which is a waste because I will NOT BE USING BOOKIT ever.
You asked for details there you have it. My advice as a customer service representative for a VERY LARGE COMPANY MYSELF is I should have gotten compensated the $350 it cost me because of your booking methods and mistake. This should have happened on my first phone call, and the first person I spoke with. There should have been empathy for my situation, and remorse for the error on your part. If that would have been my experience, I would have totally considered using Bookit again because it would have shown integrity, and care. BUT NOT THE CASE HERE! NOT ONE PERSON I SPOKE WITH SHOWED ANY REAL URGENCY TO HELP ME.

I was told they do price match from one rep and when I called back I was told no they didn't. I was quoted one price, email confirmation said another price, and I was charged a different price. I could have gotten the same trip from Expedia for a cheaper price but decided to go with BookIt because of the pay delay option which made my trip $20 more than the price. My airfare was one price but the airline took an additional $50 off my credit card.

We do offer our guest's a best price guarantee for BookIt.com hotels listed as "Best Rate Guarantee" properties and attempt to match prices for all submissions, however there are some exceptions in which we are unable to honor the request. I've had to call BookIt at least eight times to try to get my hotel confirmation number. Still do not have it. Frustrated. Every agent says the same thing... They will call the hotel to get a confirmation number but they never do make any progress. Beginning to think this is a scam.

Consumer warning... Actual price charged may differ than quoted on screen. Our booking increased by $432 (7%) without notification. Customer support claims price change could not happen. I have screenshots to prove, but no resolution from BookIt. Filing claim with AMEX.

It was easy for me to book my trip to the Caribbean on BookIt.com. I noticed the price was reduced two days after I booked my trip. I called and the bookit representative was able to credit back to me the amount lowered by the resort but not the amount lowered by the airline. I did many hours of research and BookIt had the best price on our trip to Mexico compared to the local travel agent and other online sites. We booked a 5 night vacation to a beautiful all-inclusive resort, including air and airport transfers. All services were exactly as requested and represented. I appreciated the clear instruction provided in BookIt's confirmation email explaining how to meet our hotel transport since we were approached by several timeshare agents in the Cancun airport and knew to continue walking to the correct shuttle stop. They are thieves! The worst service and site ever!!! I had the worst experience and will never use it again. I was booking our yearly vacation with insurance and the site kept giving an error for 3 times! Then I called and processed over the phone but this time and due to the frustration and it took us almost 3 hours to reserve. Forgot to mark the damn insurance. I called back few days after and told them about it. My wife has a medical condition and I said there is a chance I might need to cancel if my wife doctor said we cannot travel. They said it’s fine as long as we provide the doctor note and proof before we travel. Two weeks before we travel I notified them that we cannot and doctor confirmed it.
They said, "Oh sure email it and we will contact the resort." Then after no one calls back or responded. All I was getting is, "We are waiting on resort"! Till 2 days before traveling they said, "Sorry resort refused it," and nothing they can do about it! The funny thing is my in laws booked the same trip to be with us and went there. They said that the resort never received our money and the reservation is actually canceled!!! What a rip off. Company is booking to try to steal customers money and lie so much about it??? Thank god we are in America where banks actually protect their customers from fraudulent companies such as BookIt.com and I GOT all my money back! You can kiss my **. I booked a vacation recently with BookIt and I wanted to surprise my partner with a business class seat. After receiving my confirmation email I went to the airline site and discovered that it was not a business class seat. BookIt advertised the business class seat and sold be a coach ticket. Once I contacted BookIt they said they can not do anything. They even advertised the business class seats for 7 days after I reported it to them. After 7 calls to the help desk they offered me a $50 credit on a another booking at a later date. Why would I use BookIt when they made a mistake and did nothing.
I attempted to escalate the issue and they did not return my emails. When I called to escalate the issue I was told the case was closed and nothing more can be done. This is not how you do business. When you advertise something you should make every attempt to honor it. I feel like I have been shuffled to the side and they don't care. Buyer beware. I will not make travel plans with them again.

New Orleans. Weather was great food was good in spite of pending storm (Hurricane). Flights were on time for the most part. Hotel Le Meridian Looked like a well run machine. It was decorated nicely, however the service is lousy at best. Room keys were incorrect upon check in. No information was provided from staff about the facility. Pool area had no staff or bar. Service guests had to use one of many phones to place orders that took forever. The beds were not comfortable nor were the sheets changed. Room supplies were not consistent. I would not recommend this hotel based on my overall experience.

We tried looking for our Mexico all-inclusive resort vacation on several web sites. No one else had a good 'bundle' deal that gave us a regular economy coach class seat on our flight. At one point we thought a competitor site had a better price, and we actually booked the trip through them, believing that we were getting economy coach seats, only to find out they had us set up for Basic Economy, which means no carry-on bag and that we couldn't choose our own seats! I received an email from BookIt.com offering a great deal on a trip that I was strongly considering for my next vacation. The deal was for a period of 24 hours only... I called my family to let them know we should book this trip right away as time was ticking on that 24 hour clock. I logged in with my Booking ID, since I was a return customer. I submitted all the necessary information for the booking including credit card information, I pushed "Submit" and everything cleared. I didn't receive confirmation of my booking. I was connected to the home page of the site. Feeling discouraged and a bit confused I started the process again.
Approximately 2 minutes later, I received a call from a Bookit.com Representative who informed me that he was calling to complete my booking because he noticed there was a problem. After a few questions, my trip was booked! I received a confirmation email, the representative thanked me for being a return customer and I was all set!!

Quick, easy, and the flash sale on the resort got us into an all-inclusive for next to nothing! We had an incredible experience and cannot wait to look for more deals in the future! BookIt.com owes us a large amount of money. We booked a 7 night vacation in the Bahamas, when we arrived we had to switch hotels, therefore paid for AN ADDITIONAL, 2nd vacation through BookIt. The initial hotel issued us a refund, this was confirmed, and we were assured we would receive the refund within 7-10 days. However it is 3 weeks later and we still don't have our refund. We were on the phone until 1 am last evening with a rep who constantly put us on hold and seemed to have no answers. We were finally told that the hotel did issue a refund - to BookIt.com, and BookIt.com forgot to issue it to OUR card.
So the hotel issued our refund, but BookIt.com is hanging onto our money!!??? We were again on the phone this evening with an unhelpful rep, then passed to manager Kevon, who again said he would look into it and get back to us tomorrow. This is UNACCEPTABLE and completely lacks INTEGRITY. I will be posting a review every day on social media until this is resolved, and we will look into Legal if this goes on any longer.

I found flights on the American Airlines website that I really wanted to take for my trip, but they weren't listed as an option through BookIt.com. I got on live chat and Elizabeth ** added them for me, and gave me advice for our upcoming trip as well. She stayed on the chat with me the whole time, since I was having issues with my flight selection randomly switching. When my chat got disconnected, Elizabeth emailed me to make sure everything was booked correctly. I got the lowest price of every website I looked at, and received excellent customer service!

I made a mistake today and hit the submit button and chose the wrong hotel. I chose Riu Montego Bay instead of Riu Palace Jamaica and it was only with a few hours I realized the mistake and Bookit would not change the reservation. It’s my 30th Anniversary and I wanted to surprise my husband with an all adult hotel but Bookit would not budge so I’m kinda frustrated about it but it was my mistake. I thought someone show some compassion...NOT.

Everything about the website was simple. However, had I not spoke to customer service I would have never been advised to purchase the excursions or activities there vs the website. The only thing is I book with several weeks in advance and my trip is a no refund ??? Wish I could have the option in case something goes wrong between booking and traveling dates.

This is my first time using BookIt. I have used Orbitz in the past. Bookit, has a better platform & the rates were better than Orbitz, but most of all the rate stayed the same when I went to book the trip. On Orbitz they change the price saying it just increased. Also Bookit had a reasonable transportation rate to & from the hotel at $42 per person in a shared van. Where Orbitz only offered a private van this time for $200 altogether which is fine if that's what you prefer. But I would like the cheaper option of the shared van. I do a lot of these trips 3 or 4 a year & Book It.com, just got a new customer.

I was cut off online before I could chose my seats. I called on the phone and again was cut off before I could pick my seats. Called again and was told I couldn't pick my seats with your company and had to contact the airlines myself. I guess you do not value me as a customer and will remember that next time I travel.

I had the pleasure of working with Joshua on getting my reservation and flights modified to a new location and date. Bookit.com claims that this resort's JUNIOR Suite with a Garden View has this on their site (copied directly)... "Room Amenities: Garden view or mountain view suite with four-poster king bed or two double beds. Maximum Occupancy: Three Adults..." when in fact THE RESORT DOESN'T HAVE ANY DOUBLE BEDROOMS FOR THIS SUITE AND BOOKIT.COM LISTS IT ANYWAY. It isn't until you check into the hotel that you find out you're unable to get a bookit.com "customer service" person on the phone or via email. Neither is the hotel manager, or the bookit.com rep on site (which is actually a BD Travel agent who cannot help with the hotel or airline).
Bookit.com screwed up our hotel booking and then (after I posted a scathing review) called a week after we checked in to apologize and offer me a $50 credit to use for a future booking. Seriously? Not enough compensation after admitting they booked us for a King instead of a Double and then went MIA instead of rectifying the problem in a timely manner. My son had to sleep on the sofa for his graduation present trip. Bookit.com has nonexistent customer service once we booked and paid for our trip!

Never received my voucher... resort fees should be displayed on. Not pleased with the hidden resort fees buried in the terms and conditions... that is dishonest. People think that they are paying that advertised amount and they aren’t should be noted on the advertisement page where you buy the trip from.

I will never use BookIt.com (or every other entity in the business) again, I would put zero stars if I could!! I booked a resort through BookIt for a trip to Punta Cana, our first payment for the trip was taken in April and the 2nd payment was taken in May, then returned and the trip cancelled. We did not understand why so we contacted BookIt. After about an hour conversation, with excuses about the system and due date they finally said it had something to do with the zip code, which was weird since it was the same zip code as the first payment. Given all the confusion, we were given a credit for what we paid. We could no longer go to the same hotel due to the fact the hotel amount had risen significantly, so the customer service agent let us know we could use the credit whenever we liked for anything, just give BookIt a call back.
Fast forward to June, we were planning a trip to the Virgin Islands to replace Punta Cana and decided to use it for our flights since we were going to be staying with family and the hurricane damaged the hotels. We called to use our credit and we were then told by the manager Brandon we can’t use it for a flight since we did not originally book it for a flight. That threw us for a loop since the original customer service rep explained to us we could use it for anything. The manager told us the company is BookIt.com but the airline part of the company was separate, and they could not transfer the credit over to the flights department, we could only use it for a hotel. It sounded crazy to us but after more back and forth we decided to take it as it was, they gave us a deadline of December to use the credit or we would lose it.
I clarified with Brandon that if it was a hotel we were able to use it, he confirmed with a yes. With me being pregnant and due in September, December was not feasible, but we decided to make it work. Fast forward to August 24, 2018 we called back to use our credit towards a hotel for a nice weekend getaway before our newborn arrived, we were told we had the wrong company and then told we didn’t have a credit on our account, we were given a bogus customer service number to call and then hung up on. Frustrated, I called back and was able to speak to someone else, I was then told by that manager we weren’t allowed to use the credit for a domestic hotel, it had to be an international hotel because even though the company is BookIt.com the international department is a different entity and the domestic hotels goes through a 3rd party and they don’t accept BookIt credits so we have to book an international hotel.
This excuse sounded oh so familiar, by this time I was over the excuses and run around. I just wanted to use the money I gave BookIt and get them out of my life for good. I felt like they were finding every excuse to run the time out of this credit, so we couldn’t use it. Every single time we called it was a different excuse as to why we were not able to use our credit and no compensation for all the confusion and run around we were getting. We stayed on the phone with the manager trying to get some type of compensation for everything we been through.
The hotel we were asking for was about $200 cheaper than what we originally paid which was $479. But we were willing to count our losses and they refuse to compensate us in anyway. She just kept informing us it was nothing she can do, and we must book internationally by December or we would lose the credit. She apologized for what everyone else said before her but said they were wrong with their information. I asked if there was anything she can do, such as book us a new hotel for free and keep the credit due to all the misinformation and lack of customer service. She said BookIt doesn’t do that. I went through so many solutions and it all boiled down to “they didn’t do that in their company” or “they can’t because of the system” and a big SCREW! you to us. After about an hour and 20 min she hung up on us. I am ready to file a suit, clearly this is a trend of theirs and I refuse to get my money stolen and not put a fight up about it.

When I booked this on 8-22 there was a dropdown special that stated a free round trip shuttle was available during my booking process. I added it but did not appear on my booking. When I called they said they didn't see that promo any longer and if it ended last night there was nothing they could do. It was available when I booked and there of course has to be some way to see if that promotion was going on at time of booking since I don't think I was seeing things. I am disappointed in not receiving what I signed up for.

I called before booking and was told bookings are refundable if proper notice is given. After I booked the trip online and received my confirmation email, it stated that the trip is NON REFUNDABLE. I was blown away and when call the rep kept trying to transfer me. Never deal with this company again, buyer beware...

We hear you and understand, but cancellation terms and conditions are clearly stated in the booking summary and in the terms and conditions which you must agree to prior to booking. I give the the price for our all inclusive package 5 Star Rating. It was a PHENOMENAL deal for our family and the resort was gorgeous! My only complaint was the description on the BookIt website said the resort had free WiFi. However, when I checked in they informed me I had to pay for WiFi, it was not free! This was extremely irritating but then I could not give a poor rating because the price was great and the resort was gorgeous. My only recommendation to future clients of BookIt is make sure you print out the description on the BookIt website and have it with you when you check in. If I had proof that BookIt advertised it with Free WiFi the resort would of honored it.

I was booking a package with everything inclusive hotel and plain inclusive. Meaning everything even a monkey understand this. Then all of the sudden I was book only for hotel. Not the air the plane ticket. Really unfair. I'm really dissatisfied, they shouldn't be charging me 25 or $50 to cancel the whole thing. That's another thing.

I booked a flight for two for August 13 2016 for our honeymoon from Boston to Dubai and we called 2 days before and canceled cause something came up and we couldn’t travel out of seas, and we paid $4,825 in total for the flights through Bookit.com and they never gave us credit or a refund back. Till this day they haven’t gave us at least a credit to be able to visit any other place. Very mad??? about this. Feels like they are scammers. Be careful with this company “Bookit.com”. MY FEEDBACK ON BOOKIT AND TRIPADVISOR WERE BLOCKED AFTER I SPOKE WITH CHRISTOPHER **. This morning returned from my 8 (7) day vacation from this resort. The whole Cancun Occidental Costa stay in resort experience I happily rate 5/5 for its entire content. What I am appalled by, is the experience & treatment we have received from the booking company, United Airlines and The "Tourism Suppressing Agency" (TSA). Looking at how Mexicans treat their guests I realized how much need for improvement there is here in my country.
Starting with the departure flight from SYR: THE ENTIRE AIRPORT is a noisy construction site with neither clear signage nor directions about flights itinerary. Understaffed with knowledgeable personnel, no flight schedule monitors, no clear directions, no easily visible signage. Announcements given in muted voice over speaker system mix with construction noise. There is a plenty of Tourism Suppressing Agents sponsored by US taxpayers that make you feel like you are entering a war zone. Intimidating, abuse of given authority, groping after you pass the body scanner etc... Automated systems installed are redundant, wasteful and money consuming. One is required to repeat an action time and time again while surrounded by staff that is competent to push one (and one button only).
Due to lack of directions and skilled staff we are directed to a different boarding gate located on the opposite side of the war zone looking airport. Meanwhile our flight seats which was overbooked were given to someone. On our way to the gate I recognize announcement: "The flight... 4999 is full and we no longer accept passengers." As we arrive on the boarding gate "our" airplane is still there with connecting bridge while we are told we're late and missed our flight. The plane boarding attendant stepped in and found us another flight that was going to make our 5 hours trip to Cancun a memorable 21 hours experience.
Because I had a plenty of time I spent it in observing protocols and events on the airports. Newark and Dulles have plenty of monitors to display flight schedule but all they run is CORPORATE ADVERTISEMENTS and the dull announcements made over the speakers. Overbooked flights, delays due to late arriving crew or several mechanical problems, gate changes (in some cases 4 times), unclear directions... We had several miles (35mins) run around on Dulles airport that consisted of: bus fare to main building, luggage pickup-drop off, 7 escalators, 1 lift, 1 exit shuttle train back to the same terminal and secure re-entrance and then ever lovely reunion with the TSA. Some would call it benefits of the civilized world.
On the Cancun airport everything was simple, functional and on time. Why? Is it the AI (artificial Intelligence), AS (Artificial Stupidity) or simply IA (Indefinite Arrogance) that rules our lives? This morning I had a lengthy conversation with the booking agent and heard a plenty of worn out sorry-s. Hope my experience helps you choosing your options. Choose wisely because it is your vacation and your money is paying for it.

i booked an all inclusive trip to Jamaica through BookIt.com. Unfortunately there was a problem with my card online so I had to call and speak with a live rep. The rep was very informative courteous and he also was able to book my trip cheaper than what I was originally going to be book it for. When I compared bookit.com prices with the other travel sites, bookit.com prices were the best! I recommend bookit.com for your next vacay!!!!

BookIt is the best site to book with completely! Best deals you can find than any other site. I have searched for my September trip and nothing has beat bookit prices. Ps: when you find a great deal try to not waste time as prices tend to change any few mins or hours.

My question was answered. I'm very satisfied with the service I received over the phone. The representative was very helpful and asked if she had answered all my question. I believe it was just a computer glitch. I do think that the cost from the airport to the resort is very expensive.
