    Booked hotel room through Booking.com. The confirmation number is **. Booking.com rep was incompetent and unhelpful in changing date for hotel stay. Ended up paying for 2 hotel stays due to the fact that booking.com could not cancel out one dated even though he was on the phone with the hotel rep and she was telling him that they were okay with the cancellation. Do not use booking.com. Just book directly with the hotel. In the end these companies extort the hotel and in the end the guest of hotel also pays. To top it off after searching the internet trying to find the booking.com phone number the rep of booking.com rudely hung up. Regardless of booking.com's response a professional never is the first to hang up. Their reps are unprofessional and under trained. This is a direct representation of booking.com's leadership.

    Booking.com and the associated property owner failed to answer property-related questions by email and phone on numerous attempts. Booking.com told me they were not responsible for problems with the booking and even refused to allow me to talk to a booking.com supervisor to try to resolve the problem. I have cancelled my reservation booked through them and will never use their site again and definitely not recommend their site to anyone.

    I have used Booking.com approximately 20 times in the past and it has worked out fine but today when I NEED them to help me I have been passed around to people who are incapable of doing anything beyond speaking and hung up on 4 times. If I lose this reservation I will delete this app and make sure everyone I know and speak to about booking.com is aware of this incompetence.

    If you are thinking of hosting your property with Booking.com...think twice about it. Their convoluted website takes days and days to fill out with no directions or support. Once you list on their site, they demand a 20% discount for your first three bookings so plan on losing money from the get go. The system also makes many errors, for example, it accepted a booking of 4 people for 3 nights and my payout was supposed to be $65. Really? Of course, I cancelled the boking and lost the revenue of what it should have been. It took me three calls to get them to finally take my property down. Now, the company screwed up taking their commission from my bank and they are telling me the only way to resolve their error is for me to wire the money (at my expense) to them.

    As I was told, we tried once and it didn't work so now it is up to me. Seriously? I need to pay more because you screwed up? The customer support is awful and includes callbacks to verify I am who say I am taking sometimes up to 30 minutes before any issue can even be discussed. And many of their people are clearly untrained. I have never had more problems with one company in my life. All the other hosts I spoken to about Booking.com agree they are a nightmare. Do yourself a big favor and stick with AirBnB and VRBO as those companies really care about the hosts and offer exceptional customer support.

    Although we have used their services previously, on this occasion in June 2024 we were left very disappointed. We booked a flight via Booking.com and when we attempted to check-in online, the airlines' system would not allow us to do so, simply continuously 'loading' and not progressing to check-in. We presumed that we can just simply check-in at the airport desk... which we did when departing on the outbound flight. When returning and experiencing the same issue with online check-in, we were effectively held to ransom by the airline at the airport and forced to pay a 30 euro p/p fee to board the return flight! The airline (Volotea) wants nothing to do with our issue and Booking.com... the initial provider... also wipes their hands clean. We understand this is more an airline issue however when the customer needs the support of Booking.com (as the provider), unfortunately, they also hide behind their little computer.

    Terrible service, or no customer service I should say, booked a hotel which did not say "no cancellation" in policy which ended up cancelling within 24 hrs. and was still charged the whole amount. Called customer service, was purposely placed on very long holds and later the "barely English speaking" customer rep hung up on me. Terrible service, did not realize it until had to deal with the nonexistent customer service, will never use the site again. Straight out lie about policies!

    I contacted Booking.com to claim the price match guarantee. They only jerked me around. Hung up on me. Placed me on hold for 45 minutes. I will NEVER use booking.com again. They do not honor their price match guarantee.

    I booked a stay through booking.com in Pigeon Forge, but I never received confirmation email, not in spam nowhere. I tried numerous times to contact them, only to keep going in circles. And nothing was resolved. In a chat I was just brushed off like my concerns did not matter. Needless to say, I was stuck in a crappy hotel for my stay, at that hotel the desk clerk was not helpful. He pretty much said I got a crappy room because I booked through Booking.com. Needless to say I've never had problems with this site, but I will never use it again, or stay at that particular hotel. Thanks Booking.com for Nothing. Your service was awful this time.

    Do not use Booking.com! Terrible service! I booked a home for my family for 4th of July. Now, just days before we leave, the owner sent me an email saying they can't rent the house. Meanwhile, they have not reimbursed my credit card, which has been charged over $2600! I tried calling and emailing the owner, but there was no response. I called Booking.com and waited 20 minutes to get someone. They said they would try to call the owner and get back to me in 24 hours. They said they would try to help me find another accommodation if the rental is unavailable. Good Luck! I've been looking for weeks! I can't even cancel it online through Booking.com, or it will charge me $2300 of my rental price for late cancellation! Ridiculous! Now I have to scramble to find an affordable situation for my family trip! Just awful! Please avoid this company!

    Booking.com takes money for hotels and then provides less-than-quality customer service when there are issues. This is the second time I’ve had an issue when getting a hotel and canceling due to an issue. Booking.com is the one you pay and not the hotel directly so it is not the customer’s job to contact the hotel regarding refunding money, but they put that responsibility on the customer.

    Purchased with Booking.com. Per booking.com do not refer to the actual airline purchases and what you purchased. Booking lies about the costs and purchases of items to make it “appear certain things are purchased” for example they will purchase a check in bag but in reality it is carry on. Then when you get to the airport there is no check in bag purchase (costing $100 more than in your confirmation) booking and airlines work together to scam people to pay more, for example by charging you to be able to check into flights and purchase luggage’s!     Hidden fees. I first called the property to see if they would charge additional fees. They said yes. I tried to call Booking.com but I couldn't get to customer service without booking a room first. So I booked it. The rate include a $30 destination fee. I called the property again and they said they was charge another $30 amenity fee and a nightly $75 NON-REFUNDABLE incidental fee.

    Now I have a booking.com confirmation number, I got in touch with booking.com's rep (30 minute wait for each call). She tried to contact the property but couldn't, when I did earlier, twice. After two days, I received an email with the next steps as the property never responded to booking.com. I was told to contact the property. FOR WHAT? They already told me about the extra charges. The hidden fees booking.com promises don't exist. Ran around in circles. I wasted much of my time only to come to realize the scam the booking.com is. I bet the angle to let the consumer give up and they ultimately pay the hidden fees. Here's a tip, if a company makes it extremely difficult to get in touch with customer service, they're scum and run away.

    I have been a loyal member of Booking.com for years, but my recent experience has left me extremely disappointed with their customer service. I booked a hotel room in Delhi, India, expecting a decent stay, but what I encountered was far from it. Upon arrival, my wife and I found that the property looked nothing like the pictures shown in the advertisement. The rooms were small, poorly ventilated, and had a musty, stagnant air. It felt suffocating to be in there. To make matters worse, the room was infested with bugs in every corner, which made us feel grossed out and extremely uncomfortable. While I didn’t expect a five-star experience, I certainly didn’t sign up for a bug-infested room.

    After this horrible experience, I attempted to leave a review on Booking.com, only to discover that my stay had been mysteriously canceled on their platform. Concerned about this, I reached out to their customer service to explain the situation and highlight the issues with the property, as well as the suspicious cancellation of my stay. Despite following up multiple times, I received no response from Booking.com. Their lack of communication and disregard for customer safety and satisfaction is appalling. I am especially concerned as we provided our passport details to the hotel, and it feels like Booking.com does not care about the safety and security of their customers. This entire experience has been frustrating and disappointing. Booking.com’s customer service is the worst I have encountered, and they clearly do not value their loyal customers. Needless to say, I will never book with them again.

    I am very disappointed with Booking.com. I made a reservation for a vacation, received a confirmation for the reservation, and then awaited the request for payment. I never received the payment request, so called the # on the reservation, which was the number for the real estate company handling the property. The company said they had not received anything from Booking.com, so I had no reservation. I sent them the email I received from booking and they still said they had received nothing from booking and would not honor the reservation. I could not find any way to get in touch with booking regarding this situation, so I have no idea what booking says about it. Moral of the story: Do not use booking.com, you may or may not have an actual reservation.

    Flexible ticket for flight tickets is a scam. Paid 200$ for 2 tickets only to find that there is no flexibility at all. My original ticket is AirIndia (first domestic stop) + Japan Airlines for 800$. While the website shows plenty of options in 1600$, 1400$ range they insist to only change to 3700$ per ticket, that too after a long long wait on the call. On top of that the customer service does not even tell why the prices show less on website but simply ask to call AirIndia airlines which seems to be off given the itinerary is mostly Japan Airlines. They just seem don't offer much help and re-directing to others.

    No stars should have this company. In the last 2 years, help and support decreased. ****Now no phone contacts available**** If you try extranet even in one day I have to wait for a code. Then if you write or mail a request this gets answered if it gets an answered in over 2 days. The fees are high and no support handle or answered properly. The worst is that now no support is offered by phone, you must login but you have to cross several codes that might be sent to you. You can not expect run a business with no dependable agents.     RUN.. AWAY..!! Use another platform no matter how much of a bargain you think you are getting. YOU WON'T.. Booked a Villa at the Margaretville Resort in Orlando in June 2024. 2-bedroom. Seemed great at first... was excited about it. But what they DON'T TELL YOU or DISCLOSE is that while they are booking rooms, hotels, homes etc.. on behalf of OTHER Property Management Companies- BOOKING.COM does not fully disclose all fees or conditions that the Property Management Company discloses to them. So then you receive an AFTER confirmation DETAILS AFTER you already PAID BOOKING.COM. EXCEPT: No USE OF RESORT AMENITIES!!! WHAT!!?? Called Margaritaville Resort and they stated that THEY DO NOT HONOR RESORT FEES PAID from BOOKING.COM and the CASIOLA PROPERTY MGT was NOT part of their "network" and CASIOLA offered no help either, could have cared less.

    Back and Forth for almost 2 hours... NOTHING in the END. It's very misleading and borderline DECEPTIVE. Who wants to stay at a RESORT VILLA and not be able to use the RESORT? So why did Booking.com go as far as charging me a RESORT FEE for $60- So had to book another Villa thru Margaretville Orlando (onsite Property Mgt Company) Rentyl or VSTAY will book your Villa, charge your Resort Fee and HONOR the Resort FEEs..

    AWFUL. AWFUL. AWFUL. Had (2) Villas for 3 days vacation for 3 ppl. BC- Cabanas where rented, plans were made and Resort Activities planned. BOOKING.COM would do nothing to help but either charge me full price for cancellation - so we kept both and this is me WARNING YOU.. Date of experience: June 22, 2024.

    Terrible customer service. I booked two stays with them. One was international and the other local. I reached out via phone regarding the international booking. The wait time, according to the automated system was 20 minutes. I waited well over an hour to speak with a representative. They gave me the runaround. Needless to say they were anything but helpful. I ended up losing my booking and they kept the 770+ dollars I paid. This most recent experience was exactly the same. I emailed them, rather than waiting on hold. They state someone will respond within 24 hours. That time frame has come and gone. I will NEVER use them again and advise that you shouldn't either.

    I Booked a Stay at A property 10 Months in advance to Lock in a Lower rate. My Credit card was entered upon booking. It was also Booked as NON CANCELABLE! I kept asking the Property when they are going to charge my card. They kept insisting they would send me a payment link. They never did. I was starting to get nervous. I called customer service and they contacted the property and they said they would be sending it over. I kept messaging them asking for the link every 3rd day.

    Ten days after the customer service call, they finally replied and said they are no longer renting this property! I said, "Why are your future dates still bookable?" They gave no Answer. I called back customer service and they said they would look into it. I explained the rates for the area I was booking has greatly increased. They said, Not to worry. I got an email 2 days Later saying they would refund whatever I paid and give me a $64 credit towards another booking. I'm furious! My stay was $120. Now the comparable nearby Hotels are $3000 to $4000 for my dates! They DO not care about their Customers. I will NEVER USE THEM AGAIN. Costly lesson Learned!

    I booked a flat 4 months ago paying the whole amount in advance. Last week I was informed by the hostess that he could not host us for severe health issues he had. First feeling was shock since I had to find another place to stay for the whole family last minute deals that were too expensive. Booking informed me that they would do everything to find us another place with the same facilities and any amount above the price we paid will be fully covered by them (I have it written as well after asking it).

    After calling them several times staying on hold for hours, they sent us 2 options which were lower category and not convenient for the whole family just for not paying any euro above the already paid price. When I told them that their options were not covering the same rating and facilities as the previous apartment they told us that they would pay 25 euros only for the inconvenience leaving us unprotected last minute trying to find ourselves a new one! We did found but we have to pay the extra amount of 250 euros by ourselves (we did not accept their tiny refund though). Just be careful because they are making promises which they cannot follow!!

    Booking.com is horrible, they left my wife and our service dog outside in 107° heat at an overbooked hotel (American Executive Suites) then wouldn't refund us until the motel responded. Very poor customer service, i.e. wouldn't let me talk to his supervisor and complained about his virgin ears. 2 out of 10.

    I made a reservation for Residence Inn in North Conway on July 9th through Booking.com. Due to a change in plans, I canceled on the same day and the information was that I could cancel until July 20th. Now, Booking.com has changed the conversation and said that the cancellation billing term is the same amount I paid for the stay i.e. $1,048.60. This is Scam. If I had it until the 20th, it means the amount is refundable. I want my money back in full because, if not, I intend to report in ALL media how Booking.com deceives customers.     They will just blame you for their screw ups and refuse to resolve issues. Booking.com is literally disgusting. Their system rejected my modification request even though the property approved it, so we got screwed finding another place to stay last minute (ant infestation at the property we were staying at before) and then we showed up for our original booking and were told we were expected on the modified date. We almost lost our booking.

    I called and spent over an hour on the call with Booking.com (50 minutes of which I spent on hold because they just keep putting you on hold) and I was told by both Mayar in and the supervisor Mazeen that everything was my fault because I used the online modifying option instead of calling a real person. But just to be clear, they were more than happy to try and blame the property first. This ONLINE business policy is to blame their customers for their ONLINE system not being reliable and then refusing to put a warning to that effect on the website because AND I QUOTE it "does work sometimes". I can't believe a business is allowed to operate this way.

    Updated on 07/30/2024: Booking.com has allowed scammers on their site and then they take no responsibility for it. I was originally told that booking would refund me if the site (scammer) did not within 30 days and that they would then go after the site (scammer) themselves. It has now been over 60 days and booking says that they never said that and that my bank needs to dispute the charge (which of course they are) but they shouldn't have to. Booking is solely responsible for this. I'm still out $2300!!!

    Original Review: If I could give it no stars I would. They are a scam website! I booked through them then when the property canceled there was no way to get my money back or to even contact booking.com or the property. All the phone numbers, emails and websites led back to booking.com who would not take responsibility.

    I used Booking.com to rent a car during a trip. I chose their service because they offered a cheaper rate than their competitors. However, they just omitted the additional charges the rental company added. Other rental car companies quote you an accurate price which includes any taxes. Booking.com does not include any taxes or additional fees. It was more expensive to reserve a car through Booking.com than other servers. I don't recommend using Booking.com. They are not upfront about their prices, which makes them untrustworthy.

    I booked a stay with Holiday Inn Express & Suites Toronto Airport South through Booking.com. We did not show up at the property at the time of stay - the no-show policy states that the customer will be charged a cancellation fee. We were charged a cancellation fee + the cost of a FULL stay we booked. This happened in August 2023. Today is June 2024 and I have not received my money back which is more than $1,500. Booking's customer support is non-existent. I have received tens of generic emails requesting the same information over and over again. They cannot manage properties of their website, there is ZERO customer protection. I have been a loyal customer of Booking for years, I will NEVER use this service again. Scam.

    This company does not have humans working there.. There isn't a customer service dept., likely because they would be called with every booking. BAD BOOKINGS KNOW THIS. They know they can get away with any issue, because Booking.com is not a real company. If you book with them then any issues will be YOUR fault. I had a bad booking THEN got bed bugs from them. This was in the Spring, so I am not posting out of immediate anger (it's now Summer). If you book with them, you WILL be on your own and you WILL pay too much. Book with them, and you will only screw yourself over. They will NOT be there for you, humans literally don't work there.

    The worst rewards program/ customer retention imaginable. We’ve booked over 50 room nights and spent tens of thousands of dollars- most of the places we booked were 4-5 stars. We've apparently risen to Genius Level 3. Not only did we not receive promised perks, they can’t manage to throw in a free breakfast let alone upgrades. They take forever to answer if they do at all. I will complain one more time but at this point we arent expecting them to care or do what they promised to. DO NOT use Booking.com.

    Another tactic is taking money for your entire stay at check in or before. We disliked a Rome hotel but the manager refused to refund any nights- we were there ten. She said booking.com would not reimburse the hotel. We always book fully refundable rates but booking.com still grabs all the money up front. We also do not believe the supposedly real hotel ratings. Two we stayed at had booking ratings of 9.3 but both hotels were average at best, and worth no more than 7/10 on a good day.

    If I could give a big fat 0 I would. I needed a hotel room for 1 night after unexpected guest showed up at the house. I went to Booking.com and the cheapest hotel I could find that was within a few miles of my location was $168. I thought that was high but I was quite sure Booking.com would be the best option because their commercial even says so.

    Booking.com used to be the first website that I used to check to go somewhere but for the past 3 or 4 years, it started getting bad and bad and bad, customer service is not professional, and they do not know how to do customer service. Last time I called to change the room type and I asked clear if I have to pay any extra, she said no but she charged my card extra money then not even 20 min after I call to discuss the charges, she said do not charge, the system does :). Then I asked to keep the old room that I had not even 20 min she said that I have to pay with a new rate. :) And they wanna charge me extra money to go back to my room type. I even asked her to check the phone call to prove that she did not say anything about the extra charge and she said no!!!!! Very bad customer service.

    Horrible! Don't ever use this service. The hotel you're renting is probably cheaper on the hotel website. I spent over 5000 dollars on this site and was promised rewards and cash back and never received anything. More of a lie than a service.

    When you use a back alley company like Booking.com and they SCREW IT UP, no one answers the phone. The outgoing message says “Voicemail not setup”. I was given the wrong door code and the resort couldn’t help me out cause I went through a ** company called Booking.com. Took me over an hour to get the right code through email exchanges while family was waiting outside. Turns out the middle two numbers were reversed. Take my advice….Don’t learn the hard way.

    They put me in a room that was so filthy that there was black mold surrounding the tub. There was a thick layer of dust everywhere. The fire alarm went out off when the air conditioner was turned on and nobody from the office checked on it. There was zero water pressure and I was barely able to brush my teeth or flush the toilet. It was not safe or clean. Booking.com has refused to make it right.

    Booking.com failed to submit my reservation to Hilton leaving me and my family stranded. I couldn’t get ahold of anyone at Booking for help for over 24 hrs. When I called their system dropped the call. When I used the chat, no one replied. I just kept calling every 4-6 hrs until I finally got through. A day later (when the reservation had passed and I had to pay more money to book a different place to stay) someone finally took my call. Useless and dangerous if you want any guarantee. The staff at the Hilton had had similar experiences with Booking.com personally and no longer used it for those reasons.

    A very bad experience. I called twice. The first agent was so rude; told me that because I am an ** I am looking for cheaper price and the next agent gave me a much higher price for a hotel which I then booked personally at a much lower price. He was telling me with taxes the total was $398 when the base price was $207! Can you beat that?

    Made a reservation on April 5th, 2024. They immediately billed our credit card for the stay. Unfortunately, my husband was diagnosed with cancer in May and I had to cancel our visit to NY scheduled from 5/18-5/26 as we were no longer able to travel. I contacted Booking.com on 5/11 to cancel the reservation. They were quick at giving me a partial refund, but the cancellation fee is outrageous. I called the hotel and was told they did not receive any money from Booking.com, so their online statement of it is up to the hotel is bogus.

    As a person who has made reservations in the past and have had to cancel or change reservations, no charges have ever been made to my card with a 7 day pre-cancellation/change. I can understand a small fee, but $511.88!!!! Especially under the circumstances, and not even a reply to multiple emails to their customer service. They collected interest on my $2141.52 original price of my reservation. Yes they made the reservation for me, but this fee is crazy! I requested help from my bank after getting no response from Booking.com and they also had no satisfaction, so I am here at BBB. Other consumers need to know that this business is not worth using. Their headquarters are in Amsterdam.

    Booking.com dropped the ball and did not help fix the problem. Booked and paid over 30 days prior to vacation got to check in and no reservation existed. Called booking.com for help with their mistake. Zero help after 5 hours we still did not have a room to stay in for the night much less the 7 days. They told me they would be nice enough not to charge me for the non existent reservation. But would not get my money back for 7 to 12 days. Do not use booking.com. They do not stand behind their service

    They charged $126 to cancel a room. They said it was to hotel's policy. I called the hotel and they told me they never charge a fee if cancel 24 hrs before stay. Booking.com lied and stole my money. I have used them for years but will never use them again. They are crooks.

    I intend to leave a negative review about Booking.com, through which I booked a hotel in Ibiza. Initially, I asked them if I could modify my booking, and they assured me they would respond within 24 hours. However, after 8 days, they finally replied, informing me that my booking had been changed. I strongly advise against booking anything through Booking.com due to their extremely poor and unreliable customer service. Their staff's mistakes have resulted in me having to pay double the original price.

    The hotel I reserved was not where they stated it was. I tried to contact them which was incredibly difficult. They recommended I deal with the hotel directly. I did and we worked it out. The next day they sent me an email stating they hadn’t heard from the hotel, but that I could call the hotel or email the hotel. Not sure what the point of using them was. I pretty much did all the work myself in the end. Definitely not impressed.

    Stole my money and hasn't given it back. Reporting to the BBB NOW. Every time I call they blame it on the hotel. When they're the merchant. The hotel has sent me emails stating they cancelled my reservation and didn't charge. But every time I call Booking.com they give me countless excuses as to why they're not releasing my funds. Plus they have a customer service rep from India or Pakistan that's very disrespectful and even yells..

    The most pathetic booking site I’ve ever used. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT use Booking.com. They don’t deserve 1 star. Horrible customer service, almost impossible to speak to someone, they continuously disconnect your call, took us over 1 week just to get a refund processed and I still haven’t received it yet.     I am extremely frustrated with their customer service. I had booked a hotel for June and needed to push the date back by a month. There was no availability, so I had to cancel. I knew the cancellation wouldn't be free, but I was charged $378 and only refunded $64 from the $442 I had initially paid. Before the charge and while trying to cancel, the property owner was playing hide and seek with me and ignored my messages. I tried calling customer service, but each time I was told there were too many calls and that I should write instead. When I wrote, I received no response. After the charge, I received one response saying they would investigate. I waited a month, and when I followed up on the refund, I received a message saying I had already been refunded $64! I am furious and feel scammed.

    Buyer beware! Before you book a hotel on Booking.com be sure to do your research, check other sites for reviews, use Google, anything but their lies they spew about true guest experiences. I recently booked a hotel and it had great reviews through Booking but it was not truthful. The hotel was awful, dirty and overpriced. I left a review with my experience and they rejected it. I appealed it, they rejected it again. They should really honor all feedback so consumers can make a true informed decision but they choose deception.

    We had used Booking.com for a family vacation. Two weeks prior to our vacation my daughter broke her elbow. We decided to postpone our trip. Airline gave us a voucher. Not Booking.com. They said our room was non refundable. We explained that we did not need a refund. Only a credit or voucher as we still want to do the trip just later when my daughter is all healed up. Still booking said no. We are now out $1800. We will never use booking.com again. Bad practices. Booking.com shame on you.

    As a host on Booking.com (4 years - 9.7 rating with 71 reviews), they have become a terrible travel company to list on. Although they started as "OK" several years ago, they have become difficult to work with, and their online reservation system is problematic at best. My experience with customer assistance has been terrible every time I have tried to use them (which is not easy). I will cancel my listing with them as soon as this travel season is complete. If not for customers already booked, I would cancel sooner.

    DO NOT USE BOOKING.COM - They took my money and won't refund me - BUYER BEWARE. I tried using their service and for some reason it booked us on the wrong date. Booking.com charged us for this wrong date and will not refund my money. I called Booking.com to have the dates changed, which they did verbally, but their system never updated the hotel's system, so we were not able to use their service despite paying for it. I had to purchase a separate room with the hotel directly. Booking.com refuses to refund me my money, they keep directing me to the hotel. The hotel keeps telling me they have not taken any funds from Booking.com and that Booking.com needs to refund the money as they were the ones to charge my card. I've called Booking.com about 8 times now and the last time I asked for a manager the lady just hung up on me.

    GIVING THIS SITE A 1 STAR IS ACTUALLY BEING GENEROUS. I also am of the firm opinion that Booking.com is a COMPLETE SCAM. I had never had any experience with booking.com, but now I know I WILL NEVER USE Booking.com AGAIN!! I booked a hotel that was cancellable, which NOTE TO SELF, MOST HOTELS ARE as long as you cancel at least 72 hrs prior to check-in. I booked through Booking.com ONLY because the hotel site didn't have availability. Booking.com said they had to "contact the property to request a cancellation." I waited 3 days for them to "hear back from the property."

    I called the hotel directly at booking.com's suggestion, and the hotel said there were no fees to cancel and they stated they never received any emails from booking.com. So I spoke with the property manager and she said she would cancel it. I then called booking.com and they said they need it in writing which I also provided from the Hotel. Wouldn't you know that ALSO WASN'T GOOD ENOUGH...SHOCKER!! Booking.com said they sent the property an email and they had to respond within that email, but the Hotel said they never received the email from Booking. The only reason I needed to cancel my reservation was due to the fact that my function was canceled. Listen...save yourself the drama, STRESS AND HEADACHE, DO NOT USE BOOKING.COM. RESERVATION #**.

    Our entire experience with Booking.com was a nightmare. We booked a honeymoon trip 2 months ago and received 2 email confirmations. When I went to go log into Sandals to set my preferences the day before our flight, it wouldn’t register the trip. I went back to my email confirmation from booking.com and clicked “contact the property” which took me directly to a browser window that said the trip had been cancelled. In tears, we called customer service and all we could find out was that the trip was actually cancelled the day we booked it. We never received an email informing us of the cancellation or any explanation as to why.

    My best guess is the charge was so large, Chase bank would have typically contacted us to confirm the payment, but for some reason, booking.com bypassed this and cancelled our trip but never informed us and in fact, confirmed the trip via email twice. They offered to re-book for us (the day before we leave) but we declined and instead went directly to Sandals website and booked our trip last minute and it actually turned out $1100 cheaper than the initial purchase price. (Most likely because the room isn’t booked and it’s in 1.5 days). If I had not gone to set my preferences at Sandals website, we would have been turned away at the front desk at check in.

    Never never again! I’ve used Booking.com previously for my hotel reservations without issue. Apparently they have chosen to re-do their website and it’s now impossible to use. No confirmation was received and to get one the site drives you round and round in circles. I don’t know if I’ve gotten the correct room and accommodations nor the price and dates I requested. I then called the hotel which could respond to my inquiry to a certain degree but they instructed me that any other information was held by booking.com since I made my initial reservation through them. I will probably cancel my reservation and start over dealing directly with the people in the know. That being the Hotel directly.

    I have used Booking.com in past. Never a had a problem. I am familiar with hotel chains so I knew which ones to book. This time I rented a house for three days, five guests $498.00. Thought good deal. However, we pulled up final notice on door- hot socket needs replaced. If repairs are not made power will be shut off at pole (this had been on going, the owner said). Owner said, "It's fine. Throw paper away." My family did not feel safe. The house smelled like cat urine. We left, told booking.com I wanted refund. They said they will refund me $75. I was out $498. Plus two hotel rooms for for three days. Told me the owner needed to refund me- I told them I paid them, they need to refund me and get their money from owner. Owner refused to refund me.

    Booked a cabin with Booking for a trip to the mountains, on multiple occasions I asked for my trip to be cancelled or dates changed due to some serious health concerns, I was denied every time. The day before my trip I had to have emergency surgery and that left me no way to go on said trip. Booking, Vacasa, nor Container at Blue Ridge would budge on refunding or rescheduling, instead they STOLE over $700 from me. I have used Booking exclusively for travel for 20 plus years, never again.

    I did buy tickets for a trip family couple months ago. The trip is approaching and my wife found I just put one of two last names daughter has, now I try to correct and Booking they said is not in their hands. Emirates airlines said, "Just pay the penalty or fee $30 and correct with Booking", and Booking they don’t want contact Emirates to help this customer, but Booking want me to buy another ticket different airplane.     I had booked a property a year in advance for a planned trip, paid over 800 dollars for the property at the time I booked. It showed up on my planned trips in the app as it should for the year I was waiting. I reached out to the owner of the property a couple days prior to the actual trip. I was ignored so I called Booking.com to make sure everything was OK with the property for I had already paid over 800 a year prior. They reassured me that everything was OK with my reservation. The day of the trip comes and I find out after I get there that the place I paid for got double booked and people were already there. I now had nowhere to stay and the trip was ruined. I did receive a full refund but it wasn't immediately so nor could I afford another property if I did find one.

    My friend and I used Booking.com to reserve a room for our son’s baseball tournament. After a full day of baseball, we arrived at our hotel and was told by the clerk at the desk that they were overbooked and we did not have a room. She offered us to stay in a suite together. We asked to see the room. Upon entering the room we were overcome with the smell of cigarette smoke. There were burn holes on the tables. The floors were sticky. It was not fit for an animal. We told her this would not be acceptable. She offered us no options and told us to leave.

    It was after 9 pm on a Saturday and all the hotels in the area were sold out due to the tournaments in the area. We were able to get the last 2 rooms in a resort, which were suites and not what we budgeted for. It was after 11 by the time we arrived and had to be up at 5. I strongly recommend booking directly with a hotel rather than using booking.com in the future. Stay clear is the Sonesta Simply Suites.

    I have been loyal to this booking website for many years and they upgraded my level to Genius 3. However, I decided to move to another provider due to their poor customer service. I left with no help when I needed it. I rented a car in Japan for 10 days. After booking completion, I received an email from Booking.com stating, "You need to have an international permit to be able to drive" and I did not have one. So I decided to cancel the booking. However, the company changed me for 3 days and when I asked Booking.com to step in and help, they easily said that, "You had accepted the term and there is nothing we can do about it." Honestly, I expected more support from them.

    Do not trust the information they give you. Even if they made a mistake and gave you a suite where the pictures and reality were not the same and a man was already living inside and there was the smell of cigarettes everywhere. Their reaction is "We truly understand that you wish to be compensated for this reservation and I really did my best to meet your expectations, but upon my discussion with my superior, we cannot provide you compensation because the compensation that the property provided for you is to cancel this reservation free of charge. On the other hand, since your reservation is cancelled free of charge, please be advised that you will receive your refund of 458 USD in 7-12 days". Even though I have already been promised compensation by phone. Also I have to wait 7-12 days to get my money back and "be happy that we cancelled your reservation free of charge".     I recently booked a hotel stay for late May through Booking.com. I made sure to select an option with free cancellation. I ended up canceling this reservation on May 9 with Booking.com.     Rented two rooms from Booking and had nothing but issues. Still have not received the refund for the one room we did get keys for. Were not able to get keys for the second room because the place said you cannot have two rooms under one ID. The room we did get was filthy, had urine stains, drug baggies, joint roaches and plenty other disgusting issues including a ** man and a hooker right out front with the door open for the whole world to see and my children. This is after we asked for a room in an area where there would not be anything that could upset or be in any danger to my children's young and innocent minds. The man at the desk said this was a very child-friendly atmosphere. I hope to God he does not have children. I'm waiting on you.

This makes no sense as guests have not experienced the areas that they are asked about - comfort, facilities, etc. The company is not flexible at all.     One problem for Booking.com is that they have closed all ways that a client can make contact with them. In the past it was the phone number and email. Now there is no email or phone number or even a section in the website to submit the question or complaint. In May 30 2024 we were in a bed and breakfast in Portugal with bad condition. We have been Booking.com client for several years, but it seems that we must find another website.

    If it was possible to give minus 5 star, I would definitely give it!! Since Booking.com canceled my reservation in last minute, and they suggested to us a place for stay. I had to arrange with their suggestion a new place with a difference. By the way. They told me they gonna pay the difference and sorry for canceled in last minutes.. As you know, reservations made with very little time before the stay are high. I had already departed on the date they canceled the reservation and needed to arrange a place to stay urgently. A refund of they only paid 25% does not alleviate my grievance. That's unbelievable!

    In the name of customer satisfaction, I request them to compensate for my losses (100%) during this trip. the customer service is really poor (Could anyone contact and talk with call center?) and slow. Call center is not answer, never!! My problem haven't been solved since May 9th. I reiterate, the cancellation of the reservation just a short time before the stay is due to you, not me!!!!

    I booked a B&B for my honeymoon through Booking.com. When my wife and I arrived at the room, it was "trashed" (e.g., brooken shower stall, smashed kitchenette) and infested with bedbugs. We asked the owner for a refund, and he ghosted us. We asked Booking.com for help and they said they could not help since we chose to leave the B&B because it "didn't meet our expectations." Apparently, expecting a room without bedbugs is too much for Booking.com.

    It's 0 star. I booked 2 rooms in Days Inn, Hattiesburg, MS through Booking.com, paid $343.20. Upon arriving to the hotel and checking into the room it turned out that 1 of the rooms door lock wasn’t working. We requested to change the room but they had none available. We had to find other hotel quickly that night and move. The Days Inn manager checked us out with the invoice with his signature and told us to call booking.com and said we haven’t been charged.

    I waited 3 weeks thinking I would get reimbursed automatically but disappointed. I gave the customer service a call. Waited 30 minutes just to get hold of someone. Upon discussing about my concern the Representative said she needs proof that we were not charged. I emailed her that invoice with the Manager’s signature. She said it's not enough. My husband called Days Inn when I was still with the Rep, and Days Inn said there was no charges for us, for that stay but they can’t email us the invoice because we didn’t book rooms using our email or directly but used booking.com. I said the same thing to the Rep. But she insisted on providing them proof. How do I get the proof? Go to Hattiesburg and get it? If they are not charged, why did they charge me? It's just a rip off. Don’t use booking.com.

    Terrible customer service experience. My account has been locked and after 4 calls and 2-3 hours on the phone with four different agents, my account is still locked. The first agent told me they only deal with reservations and refused to escalate or do anything with my problem. The second agent told me they would call back immediately and I never got a call back. The third agent told me my account was reactivated but while still on the phone when I told him I still got the same message, I was told the problem would go away in a few hours and it did not. The fourth agent told me she would look into my problem and call back, and I did not get a callback. These agents start every single statement with a long politesse 'I am so terribly sorry to hear that and I will do my best to solve your problem, sorry again...' This gets very very frustrating. Just fix my problem, that's all I am asking.

    Booking.com promised me a ride to my hotel from the airport. Everything was booked in advance. The driver never came and the help desk did not send another driver.     I am of the firm opinion that Booking.com is a complete scam. From the Southwest Airlines reservation site, I tried to find a hotel for my upcoming trip. I had never had any experience with booking.com, but now I know to run quickly in the other direction. I booked a hotel that was cancellable, then found another hotel through Expedia, so canceled the booking.com one. I never received any confirmation of either the original booking or the cancellation but didn't follow up. Lo and behold the day after the cancellation period ended, I got an email confirmation for the reservation and, again, tried to cancel. They said they had to "contact the property to request a cancellation." I waited 3 days for them to "hear back from the property."

    I called the hotel directly at booking.com's suggestion, and they said they never received any emails from booking.com so there was nothing they could do. Calling booking.com was an exercise in craziness. They told me that I should call the hotel and ask them if booking.com has their correct email address--really?? I asked to speak with a supervisor, they put me on hold, and then disconnected the call. Never again will I use them.

    Booking.com is a SCAM. I prepaid the hotel in advance through Booking.com and when we got to the hotel at 7 pm after a day of driving the hotel would not accept the Booking.com credit card. I was on hold for 45 minutes for the Booking.com representative to help me, and she tried contacting the hotel to convince them to let us check in and they would pay the hotel in a few days. The people at the hotel refused and insisted I pay the retail door price which was 600 dollars more than I had already paid to Booking.com, because it was the week of the PGA Championship.

    I have emails documenting everything, including one that promised me they would call me back and rebook me at a different hotel. But they did not. I had to pay for a whole other room full price, and it took me over 3 weeks and 12 phone calls to finally get my refund. I was hung up on 3 different occasions and each call took me between 1-2 hours to file the same complaint and get absolutely nowhere. Do not pre-pay ever with them, or be prepared to pay again and more and not get any reimbursement, or offer of compensation.

    I will never use Booking.com, I purchased a plane ticket for my mother in law but unfortunately we flooded our home the next day, I purchased the insurance in case I had to cancel, and when I called to get my money back, they stated the insurance I have purchased was only if my mother in law was sick/ill, and I looked back at my purchase and that is not what it states, I lost $445 for a plane ticket and Booking.com is a liar and thief!

    What a sham and scam. How does this company continue to trade. Booked a holiday in Australia. Paid the money. Made an inquiry about no parking. Was told that they would cancel my booking.     I made 2 mistakes, booking the wrong month for a hotel reservation & using Booking.com. When I arrived May 29, the hotel cancelled the incorrect reservation & booked me into a new room that I paid direct to the hotel explaining booking.com would do a refund. I contacted booking.com, confirmed cancellation. I was refunded my cancellation $4 for a $312 booking. In text messages booking.com stated if the hotel would send written communication regarding the cancellation they would issue full refund. Hotel advised booking.com does this to deflect customer. The situation is entirely between customer & booking.com.

    Do not use this site! I booked a round trip flight and had to make a change to the departure flight to the later date. Booking.com customer services was only a chat who then sent me to a third party GoToGate to pay for the change since it was within 24 hours. I paid for the change but instead of changing the original booking they created a new booking. This resulted in my departure flight being canceled and I had to book a new return flight from the airline because I did not trust Booking.com or their chatbots! I had to pay for new tickets with zero help or concern from Booking.com. Do not use Booking.com. They will take your money!

    I booked my reservation 4 months in advance for DC. We booked a 3 bedroom and 2 bathroom. Today, the day before, the property manager informs me the unit is damaged and I have to cancel or be relocated to a smaller unit that will not accommodate 4 people. When I contacted Booking they offered to help. Their response was to call the owner, confirm the damage, and offer me a similar/suitable. They’re now providing a more expensive option with fewer rooms/less space. They are also stating that will not pay the difference in cost for my inconvenience. I will absolutely never book with this company again and would tell anyone to avoid them.

    I was charged a night's stay at a Quality Inn for a reservation I didn't make. I only searched with them but made my reservation directly with the hotel. Calling Booking's customer service, they said they couldn't even begin to help me unless I gave them my confirmation number. Since I didn't make my reservation with them, I don't have a confirmation number. Booking made no communication with me whatsoever to indicate a reservation had been made. Never will I use them again and I will encourage people to avoid even seemingly harmless searching on their site.

    In the past I was using Booking.com all the time when my family was traveling. But after last experience with them, I stopped using them. I booked the hotel in Key West, FL with them ahead of time; I received the confirmation from them via the email and their app, as I was usually getting in the past. But to my huge surprise and really shock, when we arrived to the place, we found out that the place was completely booked way before I made a reservation there via Booking.com. And the owner of the place told us that we were actually the second family that arrived to his place at the same day that also booked the room in his hotel via the Booking.com, and he didn't have a room for them either due the same error of Booking.com.

    The owner was very nice and spent a long time with us trying to reach the Booking.com via the phone, it was very late in the evening. When finally we were able to reach them, they promised us to pay the refund (the difference in charge with other hotel we find there). It was so hard to find other hotel on that day in Key West, almost every place was completely booked up. Finally, we found the place that was extremely expensive; the Booking.com guy on the phone promised again that we were supposed to receive the refund of the difference in the price; he sent me the email confirming that.

    More than six months passed since then, but we didn't receive any refund from Booking.com yet. They do respond to any of my emails, in which I sent them all the receipts of the bills from the hotel with the confirmation numbers that Booking.com sent me. Booking.com changed tremendously. I heard their management has changed; they hire people from all over the world, who work from home and have no responsibility of any of their actions; they just book people without checking if the places have actual available spots. It is almost impossible to reach them or get anything done or solved. They turned to be really awful. As a result, we will never use their services again.

    Paid for 2 rooms and had to cancel due to event being rescheduled. No refund. Rebooked 2 rooms for new date and paid for them again but when I got to the hotel, only one room was paid for by Booking.com so I had to pay for a room again. I've had the hardest time getting to the bottom of the issue and getting a refund. STILL working on it. I've used this site multiple times and never had an issue. Also, the money was never taken from my account until arrival and check in at the hotels but this time was different. Will never use booking.com again.

    Booking.com won't do the background checks of a property and when we book they ask for an advance from the given number in the hotel contact details after paying it you have to forget it. When we raise an complaint with Booking.com they keep on asking the evidences of the payment made even though if we have given all the necessary evidences/documents of the payments so never go with Booking.com in future.

    Super disappointed. When I called the hotel and wanted to change from one bed to two two, and they told me there would be no charge but I'd have to go back to Booking.com. That was no problem. They were of great help. However, when we got all the way to the end of the call Booking.com wanted to charge me $51 to change my room from one bed to two. Not the actual hotel, Booking.com. I think that's a little much!

    I will not be using Booking.com again in the future. It takes way too long to get a response and you have to threaten to talk to their manager or supervisor to get anybody to contact you about things. Definitely will go to a different site next time and definitely will not stay at the grand Panama Inn, Panama City Beach. Have threatened to write a Facebook review to get the owner to contact me for simple questions that no one knew or was not in the handbook. I will do my research better for next time I will be deleting this app.

    I have used Booking.com for years and have always been a happy customer, that has changed. My last two bookings with them have been a nightmare! The first one was a cancellation in March of 24 (in the amount of $900+) that Booking.com assured me that I would be refunded for. MANY calls/emails later and I've yet to receive it. No responses to the emails. The second issue was arriving at a booking to find it was double booked on a very busy weekend. After 2 hours on the phone w/ Booking's customer service, we were offered a replacement room at a dive hotel and a $27 credit off of our stay. I'm not sure what's happened to this company but their customer service is awful. Never again.

    On May 9th 2024 Booking allowed Hilton Cancun Vegas Resorts to take $300 of unauthorized money out my bank account when I clearly canceled free of charge way back on July 28th 2023. Well after hours and a week of back in forth, it was a random manager from the property to finally hear my story and send bank statements to him. He was able to send the $300 back. 3 weeks later after the dispute was settled the property decided to randomly take another $150 out my bank account for no apparent reason. After sending more proof of this random charge booking just accepted the property saying NO and I haven't received my money. Booking said they were in the wrong once again and that it's illegal, but won't fight for my money. I'm a level 3 genius Gold member on Booking, and after years of using Booking I'll never use them again.

    I booked a hotel that offered a free breakfast if you paid more. I booked the higher rate and when I arrived at the hotel they had no record of it. I called Booking.com to try and fix it and they were conveniently had no record of it-- even though they could clearly see that I paid the higher room rate.     I booked a room for a stay at a hotel. I booked it for 2 days and the next day I changed it to one day. When I changed it, it was 3 weeks away from the date of my arrival at the hotel. Booking.com approved, and confirmed the change since it was so far in advance. Two weeks later I get an email from my bank saying they took out for two rooms. I called the hotel the hotel said that booking.com said that I was staying for 2 days. I gave the hotel my confirmation from booking.com that was for one game.

    When I talked to booking.com the lady on the phone told me that she would try to work it out because it was their mistake and it shows that it was confirmed. This was not true. I never received my money back from them. When I read the reviews of other people, I learned that this has happened to a lot of people. I will never ever use this company again! Not only did they lie and take my money, they are very unprofessional. A lot of people say that this company is a scam, and I tend to agree with it. I have never had an issue like this with priceline. I travel a lot with my family because my kids play travel sports. I will never use this company again!

    Scammers is an understatement. These guys take your money and deal with scammer car rental companies such as OK Mobility in Europe. I informed them of a delay on my flight 12 hours in advance of my arrival and they did nothing to update them. It has been a battle to be reimbursed for the 200 Euros extra I was charged at the rental outlet in Germany which I had to pay or they said they would not reinstate my rental (which was paid for, for 10 day rental). Neither Booking.com or OK Mobility have done anything to address this scam and both hide behind email as this is the only way to get a hold of them. They they just send a generic "you're screwed" email saying they can't help. Stay away from this company and their affiliated vendors. Best off to stick with Expedia. So disappointing.

    Horrible. Sent me to a hotel that did not take animals then the hotel named Cosmo in Hollywood sent me away and then called me back. And wanted $15 a day for the cat. I couldn’t afford it.     Don’t ever use Booking.com. They are the worst at supporting customers who use their service. Never use them!!!! Bad service. I use them to rent a Airbnb home in California. I paid $600 to rent a room for a week. When I arrived at the Airbnb, the owner required me to give them a $300 cash deposit, and if I left the room in good condition, I would get the money back. I didn’t have $300 in my pocket and they wouldn’t let me stay there so I left, called booking.com, told them that was ridiculous. It wasn’t in the contract or any paperwork showing that I had to pay $300 cash to rent. There’s nothing that we can do. He lose 600 bucks if you don’t go and stay there. I will never ever use their service again.

    I would suggest staying away from Booking.com if you're not sure you're solid on your booking. You will get nowhere with them. You get the runaround and drop calls. Their network is overseas and not in the USA. You can cancel at hotels at the last minute, However, Booking will not. Once they have your money, there’s no going back to retrieve it.

I booked a hotel from their website, they listed a two queen beds, I called the hotel to confirm my booking, was told Booking.com only booked one king bed for my booking. We can not use room since I take my daughter with me. Booking.com told me they can not change or cancel my booking even it is their mistake. I keep the screenshot of listing of their website.     I booked a 10 day stay thru this company at Candlewood Suites in Georgia for $1073.79 that price included taxes and fees. At checkout, the hotel charged me $1274,12, more than $200 overcharge. I contacted Bookin.com and they gave me the run-around and intentionally delayed resolving this matter. I informed Booking.com that since they engaged in False pricing, bait and switch scam, and unfair business practices, I wanted a full refund of the entire stay to resolve my complaint and the overcharging. Booking.com has ignored my resolution request without justifications. I would like to see actions from the Consumer Affairs agency enforced against this bogus foreign business stealing and repeatedly causing harm to US customers. How are they able to have more than 2,000 bad reviews about violating both State and Federal laws and still be in business. I would like to see accountability.

    I had a death in the family and called the hotel and Booking.com. They never canceled the reservation and it showed up as a no show. Lost all the money. They offered a voucher. I booked a hotel for my kids to swim on Memorial Day and after i book the hotel something told me to contact the hotel and ask them about their pool so I did just that!! The employee at the hotel advised me that their pool is under maintenance and will be closed for a few days! So I asked them would it be possible if I can get a refund due to the pool being closed and the hotel's manager agreed to issue me a refund!! Long story short that was on May 24 2024 and today's date is May 31 2024.

    And Booking has yet to reach out to me or respond to my email about my refund!! When I finally got ahold of a booking representative they told me that they tried numerous of times to get in contact with the hotel (which is a lie) because I had the manager on a 3 way call with me and the manager herself begged booking to issue me my refund and out of nowhere the booking representative hung up the phone on me and the hotel's manager and we both was in shock!!! As long as I live I will never recommend no one to ever make a reservation through booking.Com!!! As of now I feel like I've been robbed of my hard earned money and it's nothing anyone can do so please boycott this scam of a website so you don't have to go through what I'm going through!!!

    I was in Chicago with family for Memorial Day weekend and unfortunately was having a hard time booking a room. I used Booking.com to book a room at a hotel. They charged me $94 for the room. However when I called to confirm the booking with the hotel they informed me that they didn't in fact have any rooms available and that I needed to contact booking.com about my refund. When I did booking.com refused to give me the refund and stated that it was my fault because I called the hotel instead of just simply going. I don't get it. I did not receive a room and simply should be getting my money back. Unfortunately due to this experience I will be deleting the booking.com app from my phone & I will never use their services again. Hotels.com would never take my money for a room I clearly didn't get to check into and their service is simply way better. I DO NOT recommend using Booking.com.

    I recently used Booking.com for a business trip. I intentionally paid extra for my flight for flexibility When I had to change my flight it took more than an 90 minutes contacting my airline and multiple attempts through an automated assistant through booking.com sending me links that did not work. When making my changes the airlines will refer you back to booking.com in a lengthy time consuming frustrating loop.

    If I could give a zero rating I would. I booked 2 hotels through them and the first one they said my credit card was declined. I could not contact a human to get it straightened out. Then they canceled my hotel and charged my visa!!! We had to spend hours on the phone with visa sending all the emails to have it removed. A few days before I left they declined my other hotel room and canceled it. Worst company I have ever dealt with. Warning: book directly with the hotel

    My first experience as a host (referred to by Booking.com as partners) has been the worst experience I’ve had with any business in my entire life. In mid-March of 2024, I had a guest who took advantage of Booking.com’s many inadequacies to make an unpaid booking using someone else’s identity. These criminals partied and ransacked my house over a period of 2 days, even going as far as to try backing a Budget Rental Car into my backyard to try cleaning out my entire house. The only reason they didn’t succeed is because they ran it into my deck railing and the side of my house. We found crack cocaine on the coffee table, burnt spoons, blood in the kitchen, and rubbing alcohol for needle injections. The total cost of theft & damages from this nightmare have worked out to $5683.

    I had to call Booking.com more than 10 times before I received helpful information from one of the Booking.com managers on the existence of a damage request option for dire situations like this. I was told by a Booking.com Manager that I would be entitled to almost the entire damage/theft amount if I provided a list of the damages with images and the police report. I provided all of this information and have received nothing.

    I have a police report with the Ontario Provincial Police (**), time and dates of my call with Booking.com management, audio recordings of my call with Booking.com management, and a comprehensive document outlining images of the theft & damage images taken immediately on the morning of the theft (I have time stamps for these photos available upon request as well).

    Booking.com underplayed the guests’ lack of history on Booking.com. Booking.com noted that the guest joined within the last year and “completed 1-2 trips”. After weeks of trying to get more information on the guest, an employee advised that the guest had only created their account a few days prior to their booking at my property and had only commenced their first trip 1 day prior to their booking with me. Their first booking was not even completed by the time of their reservation at my property. They did not specify any of this on the guest profile, and I simply would not have accepted this request or would have cancelled the booking if I knew that the guest had just created their account 1 day before making their same-day booking.

    Booking.com also has their default setting for new listings set to Instant Book instead of Request to Book, which is extremely dangerous for new Booking.com hosts. This eliminated the opportunity for me to properly review the guest profile before accepting the request They also did not verify this person’s identity like some other travel platforms (Airbnb etc.) do, and this allowed this criminal to use another person’s identity. This is another poor practice that puts their hosts at risk.

    In the following weeks, I also was advised by other employees that this same guest has 2 other misconducts at other local booking.com stays within 90-minute drive from me. It is clear that this organized crime ring has specifically targeted new Booking.com properties because of the vulnerabilities that they know the Booking.com platform has. Booking.com should absolutely be responsible for these losses as their poor guest vetting, misleading guest insights and default Instant Book setting is what allowed this criminal to create a fake account, target new Booking.com listings and book instantly without a chance for hosts to approve or decline the guest.

    I have already left a review on TrustPilot and plan on taking this to other platforms and news outlets if I’m not reimbursed for the losses I’ve incurred. The total referenced above also does not include the $320 in rent that was never paid to me by the guest. Given that we’re now in contact with the police and the other targeted booking.com owners, this has potential to become a much bigger problem for Booking.com if not resolved. It would be appalling not to take responsibility for the people you call your “partners’.

    Booking.com is clearly not doing enough to vet their guests and it’s costing their “Partners”. This whole situation has given me a stronger appreciation for platforms like Airbnb and VRBO that care more about their hosts. If they don’t prove that they care about their “Partners” by taking financial responsibility for this, then I strongly caution any prospective host to avoid using Booking.com.

    Trash customer care. I used Affirm to pay for a reservation and Booking.com didn't process it correctly. Got to the hotel and had to pay out of pocket. Meanwhile affirm started charging me. Called booking and they put me on hold 3 times, hanging up each time and even though I gave them my number never called back. This was almost 500.00 that I'm paying twice and trying to fix...

    I have used Booking.com for multiple hotel reservations without any issues whatsoever. After my recent encounter, I will never book through them again. I reserved a pet friendly beach house in OCMD for a family vacation in the end of June, back in January. On May 23rd I was notified the reservation was canceled by the owner due to the sale of the house. Booking.com sent horrible alternatives not even close to the standard of my original reservation. I have no alternative but to book through another site however, they didn't refund my $5000 and instead applied it as travel rewards, which are useless to me.

    I am contacting them multiple times daily and provided my bank information in order to receive my CASH back, nothing. Now no family vacation and I have $5000 in absolutely useless travel rewards. I am a single mother that could barely come up with the money for this vacation. I'm talking having to cut way back on grocery spending in order to do this for my children. I have to take my dogs simply because I cannot afford to board them or higher a dog sitter. This has made me physically ill for days. Booking.com, never again...

    BEWARE!!! I booked through Booking.com trying to get a better deal. They took out the money twice without giving a confirmation number and they never booked me. When I called to fix the issue, the man said that there was nothing he could do and kept laughing. I asked for his name and he would not give it to me. All he did was keep laughing. I told him that I would call corporate and he said “he didn’t care and to do what I had to do” then continued to laugh. Then hung up in my face. Even the hotel I booked with said that they hate booking.com and have heard nothing but horrible things about them. All of their customers have done nothing but complain about them. NEVER AGAIN will I use them. In the end, I had to go through my bank to get this fixed. It took a week to get it all straight.

    Fraudulent company with shady practices. I made a car reservation, through their website.

    1. When I arrived at the rental agency, they refused me a car saying that I didn't fly out of a particular airport. Nowhere during the reservation process is it mentioned that I have to use a particular airport for this service to be provided.

    2. When I asked for a refund, they are using any and all obscure T&C to deny a refund. Every time I talk to a Customer service rep, I get a new reason on why the refund is denied.

    Avoid them at all costs.

Then at the hotel I cancelled.. and they told me I had to cancel on Booking.com and couldn't change the date...so I did.. but it's been nothing but the runaround..     I don’t recommend this place. I booked for 4 days. Photos of the place are old. When to go there. You will see the reality. I paid for 4 days. The house was dirty, the rooms as well. I ask for my refund because I didn't stay for a single day. They give me a credit for 12 dollars. Also take from 14 day to 3 months for the refund. All places are dirty. Customer service don't care about the customers. Very bad experience..

    I arrived at my accommodation to check in. There was no one available. I could not get in to the cabin that I reserve in advance. Got a hold of Booking.com through a chat bot. Gave me a telephone number to a restaurant that had no clue of what I was talking about. Tried to speak to a live person with booking.com was on hold for over an hour till I hung up, make a long story short booking.com sucks they have no customer service. The best you can do is speak with a bot. They accept no responsibility at all for a reservation that was not honored. Booking.com is a scam.

    BOOKING.COM is the WORST at owning up to their mistakes and correcting matters. Booking deserves a rating of negative 5. I scheduled a booking in March. Cancel the same day. Reach out to booking about my refund, A couple days later and been given the runaround since. Every time I call customer service, No one can seem to help me and keep creating tickets to submit to the investigation team.

    Today is May 27th And I’m still trying to get this issue Resolve. I’ve called over 50 times and each time customer service tells me they submitted a ticket to the investigation team. At this point, I don’t know who isn’t doing their job customer service or the investigation team. Not to mention I’ve been hung up on countless of times, the agents are very rude. And then they make you wait for 15 days for your money to be refunded. We got to the hotel and the places is closed. They made us wait for 3 hours in the cars till we can get another hotel. Gave you a note that fit 3 people and I booked a hotel that would accommodate 5. There’s 5 of us. They apologized but made us pay for the stay.     They cancelled an airline ticket transaction, but then they charged me anyway. I have been fighting for a month with their horrible customer service. They kept telling me the transaction was cancelled. I knew that. That's why I wanted my money back. Finally, they gave me a link to their complaint department. I explained what happened, sent copies of my bank statement showing the charge and their emails from customer service. The finally responded saying the transaction had been cancelled. I emailed them again to remind them that I had been charged, and I received a canned response that said my case was closed and they were no longer accepting communication concerning that transaction.     On my first booking with them, it seemed pretty seamless on my laptop, but before securing payment, I received a notice to download the app. After they charged my card and I opened the app, the hotel room price was $20 less and it said available on "mobile app purchases only"! Why wasn't I told that I should download the app First in order to get the best rate. Poor way of doing business.

    I booked our one year wedding anniversary through this site, we stayed at the Luxor Hotel and Casino May 4 through May 10 2024, I was not informed that I needed a two hundred dollar damage deposit on file until day four of our stay, they tried to charge daily on my debit card and thankfully my bank did not send one cent to them. On Day 4 the Front Desk sent two security guys to escort me to the desk and in front of other guests, they asked that I leave the hotel, even though our stay was completely paid out to 0 for our week. I have complained to Booking.com and Customerservice@mgm resorts.com, do not stay at any of their resorts and be wary of the daily fees.

    The family booked a room in Las Vegas, we selected a room close to Airport, paid the fees, then received a confirmation from Booking.com,,, the next day I looked up the address of the room and it was 5 miles "farther" from Airport and it "wasn't the room shown in the App." After calling Booking, I tried to get a reason why our room and hotel location were completely different than the one we booked.     I have always used Booking.com for my hotel stays. On this particular stay, I booked a two-bedroom hotel, however, they only booked me for a one-bedroom with two beds. I talked to the hotel rep and they told me the booking came across as one bedroom from Booking.com. I called Booking.com and was disconnected on three separate occasions, Booking.com contacted the hotel which the hotel confirmed it was a one-bedroom booked. We asked for a refund on the price difference and Booking.com said that the reimbursement would have to be done by the hotel but could not be done because my room was nonrefundable which was a lie because it clearly states my stay is partially refundable.

    I told Booking.com this and they said they would get back to me which they never did and claimed they tried but my number was unreachable. Ultimately, they said it would have to be taken up with the property which I never heard back. Their customer service is the worst you will experience and apparently, their phone service must be horrible since everyone experiences this disconnection issue and they never call back.

    Worst customer service ever! When it comes to refunds, they just pass you on from one person to another and then eventually no one actually processes the refund. What a scam! You cannot reach anyone by phone, and after your flight is cancelled, you can't even chat online with anyone.     Booking.com is not doing their due diligence when contracting to take customers' money on behalf of 3rd party renters. We made reservations through Booking.com for a condo at a place called "Sky Residence Club" in Vancouver, BC. We paid $602.90 (American $) two and a half months ago for a place to stay that was in walking distance to the stadium where the Rolling Stones concert is being held. Today we were notified that--although we've already paid for the stay through Booking.com's platform--our reservations have been cancelled. After 90 minutes on the phone trying to get assistance from "Mae" with booking.com, we were basically told we are out of luck on a reasonably priced place to stay because nothing is available and Booking.com is certainly not going to absorb the cost of making this situation right.

    When I pointed out that the current high costs are exactly why we made reservations almost 3 months ago and asked to speak to Mae's supervisor, she seemed to not understand that she mostly likely isn't her own supervisor and I wanted to talk to the person above her. She refused to transfer me to her supervisor, claiming there is no one above her, which is a comical claim by a person that clearly has no authority to do anything. They basically are taking customer $$$ and refuse all responsibility when the properties they are booking screw over their customers. Mae was unable to do anything to rectify the situation AND hung up on me.

    Now we have to wait 5 days to see if this 3rd party company refunds our money, and if not, we get to provide proof of payment and jump through more hoops with Booking.com to try to get our money back from them. Booking.com is not worth the headache--go elsewhere!!! Do your due diligence, Booking.com, and make sure properties are legit before helping them take your customers' money!

    Rates charged thru this web are deceiving. I was able to cancel a hotel room within minutes of booking as I was charged $414.73 and through the Hotel the rate was $333.76. I did get a refund of $382.24 but was charged $32.49 in cancelation fees. Attempts to recovery cancelation fee was fruitless.

    I would not book anything through Booking.com. My experience was horrible with a lot of money being left on the table. Booking.com cannot be trusted for car rentals and especially insurance for your car rental. Expect no refunds for services paid for that were considered invalid by vendors. Buyer beware with booking.com. I would never consider using booking.com ever again. My experience was that I booked everything for my trip to Ireland through booking.com. To repeat, I would never use this company ever again.

    Booking.com advertised a five bedroom house in Richmond VA for our daughter's graduation. We booked it 5 months in advance, paid the full amount, received an email confirmation. The property was not available an should not have been listed on Booking.com at all (the owner confirmed to us that he had sold the house TWO YEARS prior and has told Booking.com several times to remove the listing). Long story short, we had no accommodation, and had to book into a hotel that cost over $3,000 more than our original reservation. Booking.com did refund the original amount but paid us only $44 (yes, forty four dollars) as "compensation." Customer Service was unhelpful. They refused to let me speak with a supervisor (Customer service rep's name was Sherwin, I spoke to her for 50 minutes on 5/21/2024). I will never book anything through Booking.com again.

    I have been using Booking.com for sometime now. I am surprised with my recent experience when booking a taxi from a hotel to the airport in Barcelona. I found that the price booking.com offered for a taxi was almost 10 times higher than Uber taxis. To be specific, booking.com price = $431 versus uber = $49. I found that booking.com pricing is totally unfair and taking advantage of customers. In my recent research, the same is true with hotels prices that booking.com prices were exaggerated when checking with hotel owners. With this experience, I am hesitant and rethinking now not to use booking.com for our future vacation trips...

    Booking.com was horrible. I prepaid the hotel in advance through Booking.com and when we got to the hotel at 7pm after a day of driving the hotel would not accept the booking.com credit card. I was on hold for 45 minutes for the booking.com representative to help me, and she tried contacting the hotel to convince them to let us check in and they would pay the hotel in a few days. The people at the hotel refused and insisted I pay the retail door price that it was that week and then get a refund from booking.com. Booking.com tried to call the hotel directly and the hotel itself, Sleep Inn, did not have a working phone, until I asked the desk person to plug in the phone..

    I was told I would get a call back within 45 minutes to arrange a different hotel through booking.com and I never got a phone call, an email, or message through the app. So we were lucky enough to find the last remaining room in the city due to the PGA Championship. It has now been 5 days and I have not received any refunds, any communication other than one email that said "once we can contact the hotel we will get back to you" - the hotel will not answer their phones.

    We wanted to book a room in or near Tallahassee, FL, and after getting frustrate with Expedia, decided to try Booking. HUGE MISTAKE! We booked a room on the 27th of March for one night on the 29th, totally unaware of the fact that putting in a city means nothing to them. Since we don't know the state of Florida very well, we were totally unaware of the fact that the room we had booked was close to Miami, at least 4+ hours south of Tallahassee. As soon as we realized the situation, I called the hotel to cancel. I had not added any cancellation insurance to the price because we didn't know they were going to scam us like that.

    When we got back home in Colorado, I immediately contacted the card company to dispute the charge. I got a letter from them telling me that Booking insists I need to pay the full price because they note that on their agreement that I would be charged if I didn't cancel it on the day I made the reservation. They obviously refuse to accept any responsibility for misleading me on the booking in the first place. I will NEVER use their service again.

    I had horrible experiences both times I tried using Booking.com. My reservation was canceled by the property both times and I had to wait 12 business days last time to get a refund and now on this current booking, I had nowhere to go and no money cause I put all my money on this reservation. Customer service was terrible because they just kept telling me they couldn't do anything. I asked to talk to someone higher up several times and they wouldn't let me speak to anyone just kept saying there's nothing they can do. So I am stuck in a city I don't know with nowhere to stay because they refuse to help me due to their policy. I have to stay in a city I don't know anything about by myself in a shelter. They don't care about their customers clearly. I would not recommend them at all!!! They have some very nice representatives but they can only follow script so I can't blame them for their company's messed up policy that leaves women vulnerable.

    I had the worst experience with this company—stay away! Their customer support team is unhelpful, rude, and provides incorrect advice. I had an issue with a last name correction, and they were unable to fix it, which I understood. However, when I wanted to cancel and rebook, they refused, repeatedly assuring me that their technical team would resolve the issue.

    When I contacted the airline directly, they informed me that the correction was not possible. Despite my informing the ticketing agent of this, they waited until two days before the flight to confirm the correction couldn't be made and asked if I wanted to cancel. This extreme irresponsibility and lack of timely action from the ticketing agent made our family trip a nightmare. Despite my numerous attempts to resolve the issue, they kept insisting the technical team would handle it, only to admit at the last minute that it was not possible. Avoid this company at all costs.

    I will never book with this org again. I tried to cancel a reservation. They disconnected me three times. Told me to call the vendor, I did who told me I need to work with the third party, and called booking back and then they said they contacted the property which they didn't. Continued to call and escalate, left on holds, and ultimately am left fighting with credit card company. This is the second very negative situation I have had. I will never use this service again as everything with an issue is such a problem. Customer service is horrible and they do not own any responsibility leaving customers frustrated and angry, and out money.

    There is virtually no way to reach customer service unless you have an open booking. The place they overcharged us for was disgusting, with rotting garbage and a homeless person roaming around the entry. Reaching Booking was impossible and the property owner refused to refund. Booking took days to respond, said I would get a refund, and 10% was refunded and no way to contact to ask about the balance. It is obvious they have no oversight or standards for the properties they list. That they make it so hard to reach customer services is a huge red flag. I am out $500 and very unhappy.

    Worst experience ever, called customer service to upgrade the room and talked with Ran. He couldn’t help me and when I asked for a supervisor he hanged up on me. Called second time, talked with Shie and he transferred me to Supervisor Justin, after I explained her my situation and asked if she can help she just hanged up on me. Then I called again, talked with Ahmed, he apparently knew already about my request and did not want to transfer me to a supervisor, had to explain him for about 20 min that I’m trying to upgrade my room, but it’s really hard to explain to somebody who’s English level is close to ZERO, he put me on hold, probable he was expecting me to drop the call, but I didn’t and after like another 20 minutes a “supervisor “ answered, I had to ask his name and he called himself “Frank”, I don’t know what kind of “Frank” he is but he had a very bad English with a Asian accent. He knew nothing about how to upgrade a room.

    Conclusion: I spent 1 hour and 26 minutes talking with all this “customer service representatives“ for nothing, no one could help or assist in any way. I’m traveling more than 24 years around the world for work and pleasure and I never had a bad experience with anyone, this is the first time using booking.com and I had the worst experience ever. My suggestion is: Don’t ever use Booking.com

    I came late for the check-in to the property booked through Booking.com. With other services there is no issue. However, Booking.com and the host were totally unfair towards me. The host cancelled the booking because I came late for checking a property (nothing like this with AirBnb since the property is paid for the date). It was impossible to contact Booking.com customer service and had to stay in my car whole night with my kids. Never will deal with Booking.com again.

    We booked a place to stay our first night upon our arrival, Booking.com confirmed reservation with the wrong days. After much volleying they amended the reservation to the correct days. We received a confirmation email, where they messed up was the hotel reservation was never amended. We needed 5/9-5/10 only. We arrived and I gave them my confirmation code only to find out they didn't have our reservation. The desk clerk asked for our name and after checking she told us we were listed as a no show the 8th-9th.

    After 2.5 hours on the phone waiting for their call back 45 minutes later, I found out their agent didn't even understand what I was say saying, I received an email saying there was no rooms available, which I already had told her we had to pay again for another day. I called and told the second rep my situation and uploaded proof. Finally got our refund but what a hassle. Show up at 10:00 p.m. to all the chaos when we traveled for 5.5 hours and were tired. I guess you get the gist...

    I wish I could give it 0 stars. On April 14 we got to the airport and they said the flight was suspended because of what's going on in Iran so the Iraq airports are shut down until further notice and I try to rebook. Again they tell me I have to pay. Why. It’s not my fault and I try to contact them they keep telling me contact Turkish Airlines and I try Turkish Airlines and they said, "This Booking.com not us." The absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced, and that’s saying something. All their service reps are outsourced and have no clue what they are doing. You are told different things every time you contact one of them. For example, I was told I was eligible for a refund by one person and then the next person who picked up my case said I was not.

    I booked Ocean Beach Suites through Booking.com. Upon arrival the hotel didn’t have our reservation. We contacted them from front desk of hotel. They stated they were having system issues and asked if the hotel could book us directly and they would refund the money they already took from our account. To date we have not received! Even worse is their customer service. Not one agent is helpful, each time you call you have to explain all over again. I would definitely advise to book direct and not use Booking.com.

    Seems to me that another of the negative reviews deal with people not getting full refunds. This happened to me. My attorney told me not to go into details when I posted a review. I booked a room at Days Inn Wyndham in Ocean Shores and then needed to cancel within my cancelation time period. The motel told me I wouldn't be charged but Booking.com did it any ways. So please don't use Booking.com. It only cost a bit more to book directly with the motels. Sometimes cheaper.

    Avoid taxi service. I prepare and booked a 6-passenger shuttle in Greece. Driver called and texted his car don’t fit and new driver will be arranged. No one ever come. No called answer and no text response. End up paying double to hire shuttle urgently to catch the flight. Filed complaint but Booking.com issued refund only but no compensation.

    I booked through Booking.com, and for the first time confirming my reservation, I had an endless loader not ending after minutes. I refreshed the page and started again to confirm my reservation. After that, I realized I had two reservations for the same date (**). Booking.com didn't warn me about this. When I asked for help, they told me to contact the hotel directly.

    Upon contacting the hotel, my concerns fell on deaf ears. Their response was frustratingly repetitive, with the refrain of "Check our cancellation policy" ringing hollow in the face of my predicament. It was abundantly clear that they had no interest in acknowledging the glaring oversight of having two reservations for the same person on the same dates.

    The ordeal didn't end there. Following the confirmation of my reservation, I received an unexpected demand: a request for an upfront payment of $200 as a security deposit in case of damages. This stipulation had not been disclosed prior to booking, leaving me feeling blindsided and uneasy. With no guarantee of reimbursement and reports of others being similarly scammed out of their deposits, my confidence in the integrity of the hotel plummeted. As if these frustrations weren't enough, the hotel further compounded my discomfort by requesting a photo of myself holding my ID—an intrusive and unnecessary demand that left me feeling utterly disrespected.

    This entire experience has been nothing short of a nightmare. It has taught me a valuable lesson about the pitfalls of relying on Booking.com when things go awry. While the platform may excel under ideal circumstances, its glaring shortcomings in times of trouble have left me with a bitter taste. I have vowed never to use Booking.com again and cannot in good conscience recommend this hotel to anyone.

    In the end, I opted to book an Airbnb out of sheer distrust for the hotel's ability to refund my $200 deposit (on top of the two reservations I had already paid for) and a desire to avoid the humiliation of complying with their intrusive requests. This ordeal has been a harsh lesson, and I am resolved never to entrust my travel plans to Booking.com again.

    As a "partner" of Booking.com with multiple properties they have no problem taking 20% commission on every one of my bookings but when I need help due to cigarette burns in my couch, etc. they are 100% unhelpful and do not show up to support. Airbnb on the other hand take a much lower commission and are very helpful in covering us hosts when it comes to damages.

    So I booked a room with them through Booking.com. I arrive at the room. I give the lady my id then when it’s time to pay I hand her over the same card that I booked them with. She tells me, "Oh they don’t accept these cards," (PayPal debit Mastercard) so I leave to go and try to do all these transfers and had to go to the atm. When I get back to the hotel the card I just loaded with the money did not receive the money for some reason so I was unable to get the hotel room.

    Here’s where more problems come. It’s (3am). I ask for a refund since they won’t accept my card. They say contact booking.com. Booking.com says they will ask them to remove cancellation fee which is 95 dollars. I paid 125 for the room so they are offering me 30 bucks so they accepted my money from my (paypal debit Mastercard) but won’t take it for the 100 dollar hold and won’t give me the room. I even offered the 100 dollars in cash to no avail. I must say I also feel like 'cause I am a ** man with dreads that she judged me by my looks and just assumed that I was doing some type of fraud and tried to make it difficult for me the little things I have to go through being a ** man in America.

    I was scammed out of $7000 by booking.com because of their miscommunication with the hotel. Info was either vague or not even available. Lies on their pricing, refunds, policies, and horrible customer service. They have so many loopholes that you will never get your money back and caused $1000 in EXTRA expenses due to their inefficient services (all of this was my student loans to be able to relocate near my school).     I only gave them 1 star because I had to. This is the biggest scam of a company I’ve ever dealt with. I was staying in NC a few weeks ago, I knew it would be a long trip home. I had my 3 children and disabled mother with me. I knew they would all be exhausted from travel and my mother was sick our last 2 days in NC so I decided to look for a hotel at the halfway point between NC and where I live in FL. I found what appeared to be a really nice hotel on the outskirts of ATL near Stone Mountain and it looked perfect!

    When I finally arrived at that hotel and was pulling in the parking lot, I pulled back out and went further down the road because there was no way the hotel I pulled into was the same one I had booked, but alas yes it was! The hotel did not match the photos used on the website AT ALL. The place was so awful and ran down that Front desk agent told me I had 20 minutes to come back with the key if I decided I didn’t want to stay there. I should have taken that as my cue right then and there, but I decided I would at least go and check out the room. I pulled into the parking lot under where my room would have been, and there were three children under the age of two sitting in the parking lot with the dirty toys and full diapers, no parents in sight.

    It was very obvious that the hotel was also being used as an extended stay as the toys had clearly been sitting out in the parking lots for weeks likely, and were literally blocking up half of the road/driving area to get to the backside of the hotel. One adult woman finally did appear and tried to sell me an illegal substance then proceeded to scream at me when I said no, she called me a few choice names and basically accused me of looking down on her for not wanting her drugs? Needless to say this all happened before I even got up to the room so I decided to get myself right back in the car and drove to the front desk and gave him the key back and told him, "I would not be staying here. It is unsafe for myself and my children / mother."

    The poor front desk person seemed completely unscathed by what I had told him and just explain to me that I should reach out to Booking.com, and he would immediately approve my refund that he completely understood, and apparently, things like that happen there all the time. The really fun part is when I reached out to Booking.com. They gave me the runaround for weeks and they decided to not give me my money back, but they gave me a wonderful $24 credit which I told them I had no interest in.

    I wanted my money back! I was verbally assaulted over drugs in a parking lot and they did nothing about it! I tried to go over their head by calling the hotel, which led me to calling the overseer of the hotel who basically told me they could not find my reservation at the hotel through Booking.com she explained to me that Booking.com sometimes pulls that stunt to ensure that no money be returned to the customer. I sent the woman at Wyndham all the information that I got from Booking.com, which had my reservation number and what I had paid and she sees that I did make the reservation, but unfortunately, I would have to go over their heads as well to the corporate level and at this point, I am honestly considering taking legal action. No one deserves to be put through what they have allowed and I am disgusted with how this has all been handled.

    I am having a horrible experience with Booking. I have prepaid for 3 hotels with Priceline. It asked me to list all guests name, which I did. Apparently , the system assigned all 3 hotels to 3 different guests in our party. The last hotel was reassigned by Priceline to Booking.com. The entire itinerary was fully prepaid in January. When we arrived at the last hotel, Paris Las Vegas I was told that our reservation was cancelled due to mismatch between the names on the credit card and registered reservation. This room was prepaid, I didn't choose to register it to another guest name, but we were denied the reservation. We had to take the room that was available at this time at much higher rate and pay again. I did not receive notification from the cancellation, nor was I refunded the prepayment.

    After we returned home I called Priceline and was bounced to Booking com. I explained all situation and was asked to submit an original reservation and proof of payment and the 2nd invoice. Which I did right away. After a week nothing happened. I called back explained all over again and was asked to submit my credit card statements and bank account details.

    Now 3 weeks have passed I keep getting the requests to submit the same info again and again. It seems that they are just stretching the time in order to avoid dealing with the issue. I get responses from a new person every time. No action have been so far. The whole experience was extremely frustrating. Booking has virtually no customer service support and don't care about your satisfaction. The mess up was done on their part, between Priceline, Booking and hotel Las Vegas and they make me suffer and pay the price of their mistake.

    Booking.com 'Price Match Claim' policy is to not match the price. Their customer service is awful. Doesn't know how to talk to customer. Long holding and waiting. They just find ways to not match the price irrespective of the parameters matched. Advise to Booking.com... Please take off the 'Price Match Policy' from Booking.com, it's only for name sake. Not effective.
