    In March of 2024, I booked a Budget Rental Car through Booking.com to use from April 5th through April 15th. Because I returned the car early, Budget credited the remaining days rental fees to Booking.com. I discovered about July 1st that I had not received the credit. Upon realizing this, I contacted Budget on the phone who confirmed that they sent the refund to Booking.com (about $500 US).

    Throughout the entire month of July I tried on numerous occasions to reach Booking.com about this. They made this very difficult by sending me automated emails instructing me to call them. When I called I could not get through because they required I enter a PIN number, which they did not provide when they sent me the rental confirmation number in March. Because I could not reach them by the phone, I sent several emails per week hoping to get a hold of a human being. At one point, a human being replied by email and said she would help me, but she disappeared.

    I happened to be traveling in Amsterdam the first few days of August, so I went to their corporate headquarters in person. While there, one of their representatives connected me on the phone with another person who promised they would resolve the problem that day. He did not. So, wasting more of my vacation time, I went there a second day. This time, I was put on the phone again with someone who finally started the process of figuring out what happened to my refund.

    A few days after my return home from Amsterdam, I received an email from someone asking for more details. That person did follow up, and the ultimate result is that Booking.com refuses to give me the refund they received from Budget. Booking.com claims that it's clearly spelled out in their contract that if I return the car early I am not entitled to a refund. Granted, it was my responsibility to read the contract. If I had, and if I had understood this provision, I may have canceled the booking. However, I made the mistake of not reading it, because I assumed they would have reasonable terms.

    Furthermore, when I returned the car to Budget I was careful before leaving it to determine whether or not I would be entitled to a refund, because if not, I would have kept it. Two separate Budget employees assured me that I was due a refund. I relied on them assuming that they are familiar with the contract. Based on this experience, if it was possible to give a negative star rating to Booking.com I would. Not only have they not given me my refund, I have invested at least 10 hours of my time chasing this down (including 4 hours in person on those two separate days while on vacation in Amsterdam). The only reason I gave one star is because the people I dealt with were pleasant and wanted to help.

    Two lessons:
    1) Read contracts

    2) Don't use Booking.com

    If needed, I can document all of my claims in this review. Booking.com refuses to give me the money. I discovered this after trying for o connect communicating with them numerous times over 6-weeks. Getting in touch with them online and by phone was impossible. I happened to be in Amsterdam the first part of August, so I went into their headquarters in person on two separate days and finally got a hold of somebody to help me. Estimate that I invested at least 10 hours into communicating with them about this.

    I booked my flight and paid for my seats. Received confirmation from Booking.com that my seats are reserved. However, when I went to the airline website, my seats are not reserved. Booking.com said that my seat selection is declined. I have to reserve another seat and pay for it. Absolutely terrible service when they are booking for an airline and can't get the seats that they confirmed are booked.

    Very disappointing. I am a regular customer of Booking.com and at Genius 3 level. I have been to more than 35 countries and majority of hotels booked through Booking.com. I had a confirmed booking in Vegas along with my brother who underwent a brain surgery few days back. I wanted him to get some rest and spend weekend in Vegas but when I reached the hotel they declined to check in stating that the Booking.com has not updated it. It’s 3:00 am here in Vegas and I am in roads with a patient. Never expected this.

    Reserved a hotel for Sturgis 9 nights. We decided to go back home after 7 nights. We checked out on a Friday. The hotel said it was okay as they were able to book our room to others. Booking.com refused to modify our reservations to 7 nights and made us pay for the entire 9 nights. I even gave them the general managers contact information to call. They didn't call and just said after you checked in reservations can't be modified. I will never book through them again.

    Booking will not release refund because they keep saying they cannot get a hold of the hotel to get approval however I have recordings and emails from the whole hotel general manager, stating that he was in contact with them and confirmed it was OK to refund the cancellation. I have been in contact with booking multiple times each phone call takes over an hour, you could not hardly understand the live person, and they repeat their self like a robot and nothing ever gets resolved. It’s literally like talking to a wall. Save yourself the headache and never book anything through this company!

    I have bought a 3 night hotel in London. Just before I took the flight, I realized there were terrible reviews about the hotel on Google. The reviews were saying that "the hotel is a scam, it is under repair and not ready for customers yet". I called Booking.com and asked them to change the hotel. They said I should go to the hotel first. I insisted but it didn't work. I went to the hotel and it wasn't anything close to what is advertised not booking.com web page. The other reviewers were right. I called booking.com and told them the situation. After some hassle they accepted to refund only after I book another hotel and send them the receipt that I didn't stay there. I booked another hotel through. Sent them the receipt but they didn't make the payment. I had to call them 10 times to ask for $900 and change money but they never make the refund. I never buy from them anymore. I try to pay directly to the hotels now.

    I’ve been booking hotels via Booking.com for years and now have been charged for a hotel which I have no reference or PIN code. The customer service with booking.com has been terrible. I keep getting generic emails asking for the same detail. I understand it is a huge company but the customer service has been deplorable and I’m now out of pocket and it doesn’t look like I will be reimbursed. Really skeptical of this company.

    My wife and I booked a motel in Meridian through Booking.com, the Roadway Inn and Suite Motel was unlivable as it was filthy with pubic hair on the beds and in the shower. The toilet had never been cleaned! Through this I contacted Booking.com for a refund as we walked out unwilling to chance getting a disease. Booking.com investigated the situation and emailed us stating that we would receive a full refund. To this day we have not received a refund and are unable to talk with a human being. This company is fraudulent and we will be filing a lawsuit against them as we have all documentation needed to satisfy the court!

    Booking hotel in Lucerne, Switzerland through the website described the hotel one way. And after I reserved the hotel and received the confirmation which described the hotel a different way. If I would have known the correct description when on the booking page, I would have never booked this hotel. And when I received the confirmation it was too late to cancel because it was a non-refundable booking. I believe the hotel Altstadt Hotel Magic Lucerne and booking.com's hotel descriptions are misleading. And should make this right and/or come up with a sensible compensation. After refusing to stay in this hotel, I'm sure the hotel rented out the room to someone else.

    Needed a place to stay just for the night while moving out of town. Went on Booking.com and searched for deals. Found a good one but the hotel was closed. It’s been 2 weeks, our move was delayed because we had to take extra money for the last two weeks and stay somewhere else that we weren’t planning to. They just replied saying that they’re sorry for the inconvenience on MY PART. I will never get anything through them again. 90 dollars has costs me so much more and I will be taking legal action.

    I have been exclusively using Booking.com for almost 10 years for all my domestic and international travels and also referred many family members and friends to it but I WILL NOT BE USING THEM NOR REFERRING ANYONE TO USE IT EVER AGAIN due to the ABSOLUTE WORST EXPERIENCE I have had since my last trip in June! As a matter of fact, I would strongly advise anyone against EVER USING THEM as well because they are now the ABSOLUTE WORST COMPANY and essentially operating like any of the fraudulent companies around!!

    You cannot reach any resolution through any means with them, not even for their own error such as being charged twice for the same hotel accommodation; not through their customer service phone number, Booking.com messaging or email! Their customer service is just ATROCIOUS AND THE ABSOLUTE WORST I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED! I booked a hotel accommodation through them from 6/20/24 to 6/25/24.

    Booking.com charged my credit card in advance of my hotel stay on 6/17/24 for the correct amount. Upon checking out of the hotel, I noticed that the hotel also wrongly charged me again for the same hotel accommodation. I reached out to Booking.com right away to notify them and sent them all the required documentation including my official bank credit card statement, transaction history etc. proving the double charge. I didn’t hear from Booking.com again for over two weeks.

    I have called them over 10 times since then. I have been hang up on at least 4 times each time after holding for 30-45+ minutes. I have attempted to reach them through the Booking.com website messaging, email and social media but all they have done is GASLIGHT AND LIE! Eventually, and after many frustrating and wasted hours, Booking.com emailed me on 7/23/24 that they are going to issue me a credit and I should expect the credit in 5 business days.

    Today is the 16th day since I received that email and I still have not received any credit. I have attempted to reach out to them again through multiple ways but I have been unsuccessful! I woke up before 2 am today to attempt to reach them via phone one more time before I have to go to work. I have been on hold with them for 45 minutes (and counting) right now as I type this review and I doubt I am going to get any assistance. It’s been over 6 weeks now since I have been attempting to get them to reverse a double charge that has negatively impacted my credit score, cost me extra interest payments, many hours of wasted time, extreme frustration and inconvenience but all I have gotten from Booking that come is GASLIGHTING AND LIES!

    Booking.com is basically a fraudulent company operating in plain sight, which is both scary and unacceptable and it needs to be investigated by the FTC and the consumer Protection Bureau for the SCAM that it is! Take it from someone who has used Booking.com exclusively for almost 10 years, DO NOT EVER USE BOOKING.COM because clearly they have turned into a scamming company! Let my horrible experience be a lesson for you!

    An AWFUL and deceitful company! I have been continuously harassed by Booking.com who has made its mission be to advocate for scamming property managers and hotels. I was in Mexico and booked my stay with booking.com and after I left the property, I start receiving harassing emails from Booking.com stating that I caused damage at the property and stay an extra night. Neither are true! I left on a plane that Booking.com had booked me for the day before I had allegedly stayed an extra night. No damage, while I was there had occurred yet Booking.com representing the property that I stayed at, is nonstop harassing me. I’ve called Booking.com, which is an international call to the UK and they assured me, they would address it and apologized. Yet they continued to harass! Awful, terrible, on ethical company!

    Booking canceled my reservation already paid four months ago. The reason was overbooking. They told me to reserve another hotel and promised me that they will refund me the difference. After the check out they didn’t pay me yet any amount for the difference. It is already one month and I didn’t see the money promised by Booking for that difference. The reservation that was canceled was at Sogni Stellari in Bergamo (Italy) and I paid 46,17€ and the second reservation where I stayed was at Casa Vacanza Orio al Serio Bergamo (Italy) and I paid 113,40€. They didn’t want to pay me 46,17€ the difference between two reservation.

    I have been a Booking customer for many years and am at Gold Genius Level 3 status. They used to be a good service but in the last year they have kept hundred of dollars of my money due to their mistakes or rigid crazy cancellation policies. This time they required 50% payment upfront for the entire stay, which was 384.50. Then when they couldn't charge me the balance several days before my stay, THEY cancelled my reservation and kept all but 32.60 of the 384.50. Customer Service is a foreign joke with repeating lines no matter what the problem, no way to resolve and can't even elevate the matter. This company are CROOKS.

    Booking.com lists inaccurate information about a property. In my case, they listed the property with free car parking no reservation needed. When I arrived, the parking wasn’t free and reservation was required. Booking.com may not need to list all details but should comply with state and city law requirements and regulations.

    This is a review on Booking.com and not any hotel. I used them to book a hotel and things changed so I cancelled the rooms. Contacted the hotel and they said my card will not be billed by them but I had to contact booking.com to get my money back. It’s been over 2 months and I finally started a case with Visa and they’re helping me. No money yet but here’s hoping. Contacted booking.com every week. Spoke with different guy promising me a call back and nothing. Do not use booking.com. They are as crooked as they come.

    Have a problem with customer service which are not very helpful to customers. As a first time customer l was given a run around on a refund that was supposed to be easily fixed you will lose more… number one is Trust and Booking.com failed miserably. The problem could have been easily fixed if they just followed customers advice but with so much protocol in place for them they are not very helpful especially when it comes to refunds.

WENT TO CANADA BC before Alaska cruise 10 of us and when finally found a mess of a house and ceiling FALLING ONTO bed, cobwebs, dusty, over grown outside, even seen rat bigger than our dog running from trash can ..no help from anyone.     These people are terrible. They literally booked me for a booking that the hotel wouldn't honor, charged me 200 dollars, and then had the nerve to tell me that they would relocate me but I needed to pay for another reservation, only it would take 10-12 days to refund the money from the first reservation that they screwed up and so I needed to pay for the new reservation. Essentially what they were offering to make it right was a chance to get burned again, no thanks. Avoid these people like the plague.

    I stood on the phone for hours regarding getting my money back for a booking that stated that it was not confirmed. So, I booked with them again some place else then they stated that I could not get my money back for the one that an email was sent about not being confirmed because the last email was for a previous booking and not for the last booking made.

    I sent proof of the times of the email and they stated how they understand how this could have been confusing especially because the 1st booking didn't go through but they only want to give me 10% when I did not check in and ended up still using Booking.com to book another hotel that I didn't really want to go to because I had already told my kids that we were staying at a hotel and both transaction did not go through. They owe me 442.07 that I still have not received. Sergio the supervisor hung up on me as well. I WILL NEVER USE BOOKING AGAIN!! I have booked with them for years a faithful member. He tried giving me 10%. What would I do with that?? I need my 442.07 back asap.

    Booked a B&B half way across the country. Before we arrived, we called the number provided. They said we didn't have a reservation. Called Booking.com, nothing they could do until the next morning. We had to pick a hotel on the side of the road that wasn't completely booked. There was a reason it wasn't booked. The next day we went to the hotel they booked for us, none of the amenities they assured us were there. Charged us an absolute fortune, even though they said they would take care of the fees, We had to fight to get our first payment refunded, was charged more than the going rate for our room, plus extra charges. They will not get back with me, just an endless loop of the same "we need more information". We will never use them again, I suggest you don't either, unless, being stranded, and paying several hundred dollars extra for their incompetence & sheisty practices.

    Recently we booked a 7 day vacation to Maui through United Airlines Packages which used booking.com for the hotel. We were quoted a total price. When I inputted the payment, we were charged for the airfare but for some reason the hotel didn't take. I had to call Booking.com. They charged me a deposit which covered resort fees and taxes. Upon checkout I was billed for 7 nights as well as resort fees and taxes. For some reason the deposit was never communicated to the resort from booking.com so I was overcharged. Thankfully I printed out the information from booking.com which included the agents name.

    I called Walter at booking and initially he told me to call United. United told me I had to deal with bookings since they were in charge of the resort portion of the trip. After some pressure, Walter finally acknowledged the mistake and said it would take 48 hours to resolve the issue. I should be credited the full amount of the deposit. I guess we'll see. I wonder how many people don't double check their costs post trip? You should.

    Booked a hotel for the weekend through Booking.com and when I got to the hotel, they told me they didn't have the confirmation of any booking on their end. Booking.com's customer service was absolutely no help but they did inform me that they would cancel the booking on their end so I could get a refund. However, they never canceled it and thus I paid Booking.com for absolutely nothing AND had to pay for my stay individually with the hotel. It was a total scam.

    They have a halfway house on their site, which we booked. We arrived there and immediately left and booked another hotel. I messaged Booking.com twice with no response, then called and waited on hold for 20 minutes only to have them hang up.

And when I called them, all I got was a “So sorry, won’t happen again.” Not to mention that they didn’t even have a representative to speak my language.     We paid for a room with view to the ocean and when we arrived, we not only got a horrible view, but we also got a “mobility access” charge, which we didn’t even ask for. After calling a staff member, he told us that he the company wouldn’t take off the charge simply because we “booked it”, which wasn’t true at all.

    I stayed at a B&B in May. They overcharged me and when I called Booking.com they assured me I would get a refund. Here it is three months later and 10 calls later still no refund. Now they’re telling me it’s been three months and it’s too late to get the refund. WHAT? It was your fault. I’ve been waiting for this and now it’s too late. These people are too much. I don’t suggest booking anything with them. If there’s a problem you might as well forget about your money.

    PATHETIC CUSTOMER CARE. One of the worst customer care service they provide. I've made my reservation and now all my listing are not showing active and they didn't send me any confirmation email. Now, when I call to hotel they told me that my booking is confirmed and they will deduct money from my credit card as per the policy. But I am unable to get my confirmation number and PIN and they never respond with any details on emails. One of the worst experience I ever faced. I will sue them if any money deducted from my credit card as they said all active booking will show in active but nothing is showing. Disgusting service. AVOID AVOID AVOID. SCAMMER SCAMMER SCAMMER.

    We have used Booking.com for almost everything. We recently stayed in a place that we had to reserve the same day, we drove from 3 hours away. The place was nasty, smelt bad and the carpets were absolutely disgusting. We came back from our concert around midnight to a cockroach near the vending machines. Then at 3 am, I awoke to a cockroach that ran across my chest!!! We told management and asked for a refund and they still refuse to give us one. I have contacted booking multiple times and they offered a $29 compensation, pathetic. We paid $192 for a roach motel and they offer $29!!!

    Hopefully this is helpful to the next person that used this garbage site. We booked this flight a month in advance. We got on to our plane to go to DC. That was great! We got to the hotel. That was great! But when we needed to go home our flight was canceled... Booking.com immediately transferred our tickets for the next day flight but we needed to go home that night whether it was train, bus, or car. They didn't care, refusing to refund us. Took over 3 hours before we got an answer if we'd be refunded. One rep said $160 with in 5-7 business days. Then the lead said $30 because they transferred our flight for the next day even though we did not agree or confirm the next day flight. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. I'd rather talk to the cable company. They said they'd have it handled within 2 days now, but honestly I'm disappointed that they forced us to get another flight that we did not agree to.

    We would have been a lot happier if they just refunded us the tickets back to our home state. So we'd have money to drive back. Almost got stranded at an airport with no extra hotel stay or any compensation. We were lucky enough to have just enough money to rent our own car and drive 10 hours home. Extremely disappointed with the end of our trip thanks to booking.com doing things we never asked them to do.

    When we travel we use Booking.com but after this last experience not sure if we will ever use them again! Booked 2 hotel rooms in June, Canceled the reservation on July 8th. On the check in date of August 1st. I was charged for one room at 2:43am 14 hours before check in and after 24 days of me cancelling.     For my son's graduation, I made a reservation, on the Booking.com website, for my family's stay at Pelican Executive Suites in Coral Gables Miami; and paid the sum of USD782.10 on Jan 2, 2020. Unfortunately the ceremony was cancelled by his university due to Covid-19, and I cancelled my reservation accordingly (before the date we had planned to arrive). In response, the hotel offered to keep my payment and in return, for a free stay in the future. I said I had no other reason for traveling to Miami, and asked for a refund of the USD782.10 I had paid.     My hotel could not find evidence of prepayment for my stay, so they placed a $900 hold on my credit card! I tried to get a receipt from Booking.com website to prove to the hotel that the room had been pre-paid, but this information could not be found, so the hotel refused to roll back the charge!     Completely misinformed/uninformed in phone call with Booking.com agent regarding cancellation policies, insurance. Weeks prior to hotel stay were charged full amt on our credit card including insurance we did not authorize. Was informed that cancellation could be done up to days prior only to be charged a full day rate plus insurance (which I had never agreed to) even though cancellation was well in advance of booking.

    Phone call to Booking.com agent was informed that complaint would be elevated and someone would get back to us. Two weeks have passed and no contact has been made by Booking.com. In phone call with hotel, was informed that hotel rate was significantly less than what we were being charged. Would rate no star if I could! Strongly advise travelers to contact hotels directly instead of going through Booking.com. This was the second time something like this happened and is a total rip off.

    I recently booked an overnight trip through Princeton, WV through Booking.com three weeks before I was to leave. When I arrived at the facility, the staff had no knowledge of my reservation even though I had email confirmation of the arrangement. Fortunately the manager had an availability and even offered me an upgrade since the room I rented was not available.     I would give this 0 stars. The way they handled their mistake is so ridiculous. Do not book anything with them. I booked a hotel and my party ended up not making it. Within those 24 hours I cancelled it. I literally cancelled it within 30 minutes. I’ve called twice and they keep telling me they need written consent and told me that they sent an email to the hotel and for me to call to expedite the process. I’ve literally called 10 times in the course of 2 days. The hotel has given me and Booking.com verbal consent. Booking told me it is against company policy to call the hotel but proceeds to call behind my back and got verbal confirmation. Talk about shady business.

    When I confirmed with the hotel that my booking was cancelled, they told me that booking confirmed the email on file and it was someone else’s personal email. Yet booking.com still didn’t change it. How does someone respond to an email that doesn’t even work anymore. Don’t bother with this company. They’re so money hungry, they’re still going to charge me for the cancellation even though I did not sleep at the hotel, the hotel even confirmed they will not charge me since it was within their policy order. Stay away from this company. Don’t bother booking anything. While on customer service call, the operator talked over me multiple times, not letting me talk. They also pretended to not hear me. Also told me there was no supervisor on the clock. Also never transferred me to a supervisor when I asked multiple times. Save yourself the trouble.

    Horrible experience! I booked accommodation NUMBER 81 in London. Paid almost 700 euro, when I arrived to the place it was extremely messy and unclean so I requested cancellation immediately. The staff called the owner and promised me full refund in 24 hours but nothing after 1 week. So I called the customer service and sent them all proofs but the result they gave me is that they can only refund me 80 pounds over 700 I paid. Horrible!!!! I can't believe that Booking.com let host like that being advertised! Unacceptable!

    We booked a hotel at the rate on the site. We arrived to the hotel and requested to modify the room due to unavailability for early check in. The manager for the hotel offered to accommodate the modification for the new price at the going rate. The customer service rep from Booking.com blatantly lied and stated that the hotel gave us the room at the same price. The price of the room was cheaper both on Booking.com and at the hotel itself. They basically charged us $30 to modify the booking! We received what we requested however, they should have honored the modified price that was reflected in their site and by the hotel!

    This is has been the worst experience. The room around the refrigerator is brown. The stools on the bottom of them are broken and have been. The parking is terrible and now I will lose my deposit from my rental car because someone scratched the side of my car because they are so close together. The parking you can't ever find a parking spot. Then you have to turn around with other cars behind you because it's one way in one way out. So I tried parking in the overflow. It's so dark. It's dangerous to have my kids. This is a terrible hotel. The shower only turns one way all the way around and turns cold and hot and off. It's terrible.

    We were falsely told we were able to do laundry. It didn't say laundry on site. The machines took my money and it cost $15 to do 2 loads of towels when a machine cost $2. Also we weren't made aware of the indoor pool being closed until the last minute. Now Booking.com is playing games. I called them to tell them about the dirty room and terrible hotel. And because I cleared my throat the man told me to drink water. I asked to speak to supervisor and he put me on hold and acted like a female and was laughing at me when I spoke. This is the worst booking site. This is not the first bad experience I have had with them.

    I paid for, reserved and expected a two room suite! Not a 2 bed standard room with a pull out couch all in the same room. I called customer service and was told that nope two room suite means a 2 - bed room not a two room suite. What does 2 room suite mean to you?     I recently had an worst experience of my life with one of the Hotel patronage at Booking.com, I reported that the hotel didn’t have any service protocols, my keys were left at the front desk at 11:00 pm unattended for me to pick up. Yes as you read!!!! When I arrived there wasn’t any hotel staff at the premises only a sing to call a phone number provided which I called twice with no answer. The employee a man returned my call and indicated that my room keys were in front of the clock at the front desk. At 11:00 pm with nowhere to go in Hudson Albany I had no option to pick up the keys and go to my room and speak to a manager in the morning.

    Next morning I complained to the manager about the keys situation from last night, the bathroom were filthy with feces from previous guests and his response was that he was going to call the police on me and he was going to charge me 2 additional hours. I proceeded and place a complaint to Booking.com about the incident with photos of the deteriorating condition of the hotel and others. I requested full refund due to fault advertising of the condition of the hotel and the missing hotel staff. To my surprise Booking.com offered me a credit of $21.01 for my horrific nightmare and lack of security.

    St Charles Hotel in Hudson Albany is not even a 1 star hotel. The main entrance is not working or at least his hotel manager said it wasn’t working and forced the guest to used the side entrance which is unsafe and dangerous. The hotel is front to an abandoned building with homeless people which makes it more dangerous for a single woman traveling alone. Again with all this information given to Booking.com my safety wasn’t even the priority to them.

    I’ve tried various stays with Booking and am always disappointed. Rooms that were given up, incorrect information provided, and awful customer service in the form of canned responses over and over and over again with no true effort to resolve. The app is delayed - we inquired about cancelling because we were provided incorrect information about an airport shuttle. Instead of answering our questions they automatically canceled our room without any verification that is what we wanted to do. Hotel refused to contact Booking and Booking kept telling us they reached out to the hotel. No accountability and always put it back on hotels, hotels always put it back contacting Booking; they never interact. It just isn’t worth it- go direct to hotel to receive better customer service and clear policies. In the end we finally were refunded our money, but only have we had to become overly assertive in email after email.

    Hands down Booking.com and their Customer Service has become one of the worst travel agencies I have come across. This is the 2nd time I’ve had an issue and both times I have gotten the runaround. First instance it took me 6 months to receive a refund for a car rental that was promised to occur in 20 days. Now here I am again being runaround for a hotel booking that was cancelled because they couldn’t confirm the reservation. Again I was told 2x I would receive the refund in 7-12 days.

    When I reached out to Customer service they said that they couldn’t see the automated email and I’m the victim of a phishing email. Even though it’s from the exact email address I’ve been receiving all correspondence. I even sent them copies of the email and after finally speaking with representative she consulted with the supervisor and agreed to refund the money. Now I get another email saying it’s up to the hotel to issue the refund and not them. The hotel then reached out and said it’s not their fault. So here we go with the games again.

I went through the process of getting my confirmation email FOUR times and they never sent it. I contacted every form of customer support and none proved helpful. Once finally getting in contact with support they told me I needed my confirmation number which is what I was trying to get from them, and then they told me there was “no record” of my booking.     I am writing to express my frustration regarding a recent booking error I made. I mistakenly booked a stay for the same day at 21:00 PM (CAD time), rather than for the following day as intended. I find it concerning that a booking can be accepted for a hotel so late in the evening without any form of warning or notification about the timing. While I acknowledge that this error was on my part, it raises a significant issue with your booking process and the lack of safeguards to prevent such mistakes. Given that bookings are allowed even after the check-in cut-off time, surely a warning could be implemented to alert customers to potential errors.

    Furthermore, I contacted both the booking service and the hotel to correct the error. Not only did I receive no response initially, but I also had to call back the next day. I was informed by Edwin that I would need to pay a cancellation fee of approximately USD 109, and that the room fee would be refunded after 10 to 15 days. It has now been 21 days, and both the room fee and the cancellation fee have been retained. Despite following up on this issue using the contact number provided (1-855-738-3314), I was assured of a callback that I am still waiting for.

    This situation is unacceptable. I am requesting:

    1. Immediate refund of the room fee.

    2. Review and refund of the cancellation fee, considering the lack of timely resolution and response.

    3. An explanation of why this issue has been handled in such an unsatisfactory manner and measures taken to prevent such occurrences in the future.

    Among numerous bookings thru this company, I will NEVER use them again. I booked a 3 night stay at a place in Italy that was non acceptable in any way and I ended up staying there only 1 night. To make a long story short, after asking them to at least reimburse me for the 2 nights when I booked at another place thru them, they sent me several emails AGREEING to do so, but refused to do it by lying and saying that my credit card company "refused" the payment. I spoke with the CC company and they told me this is ridiculous: "We're a bank, of course we accept credits!". Even the property owner agreed to the reimbursement. They are the most dishonest and deceiving company I've ever dealt with. Caveat Emptor - BUYER BEWARE!

    I was lured in by the promise of "flexible airplane tickets" from Booking.com, paying a premium for the supposed convenience of easy changes. What a colossal disappointment! In reality, this "flexibility" was nothing more than a deceptive marketing ploy to squeeze extra cash out of unsuspecting customers. When I needed to change my flight, I encountered the same rigid restrictions and exorbitant fees as any regular ticket. It was as if the "flex" option didn't even exist.     The properties I stayed at were nice and convenient, however, I had a problem with the owner canceling my booking while I was in flight and Booking.com sent me a message when I touched down. I made alternative booking for another place from the link they sent me and was told that the price difference will be refunded. The payment to the alternative accommodation was also paid to Booking.com and they refunded me the charge for the original accommodation. 2 1/2 months past and I am still trying to get my refund.

    They insist that I get a ZERO Balance receipt from the hotel for them to start the process. I, of course, contacted the hotel via email and text messages multiple times and the hotel told me that since the payment was made to Booking.com, they can't issue me any receipt. The receipt, according to the hotel, would be in my email, but that was the amount I paid for the stay and not Zero balance. I emailed that receipt to Booking.com and they told me that's no good and I need to get a receipt from the hotel directly.

    I have been going back and forth with Booking.com and they finally sent me an email to call their customer service to have someone help me with it. This is where it went downhill!!! The representative talked over me all the time and kept repeating his words and was not helpful at all, he even hung up on me before all my questions were answered. I will not be using Booking.com again in the future. It was so stressful when I landed at the airport after being on the plane for 13.5 hours to find that the owner had canceled my booking. I had already made arrangement for transfer from airport to the accommodation and the driver had to wait for an hour at the airport with us while we figure out what to do.

On July 3rd, 2024 my family and I rented a van and drove over 8 hours to a confirmed property only to be informed that the property is no longer managed by the same company. To say I am angry is a understatement. Upon calling your customer service dozens of times, I was placed on multiple holds and hung up on many times. Your agents wanted us to repay for homes that did not accommodate us. The entire process was frustrating. We had already paid previously for a stay that was cancelled as we waited at the property gate. The refund process was for 7 to 12 days so we were out of funds to pay for a new property. We were extremely tired and after speaking with several reps could not get a home. We had to drive back for another 8 hours. Very unacceptable. You all inconvenienced us and ruined our vacation.

    One rep we spoke to told us to borrow money for a new property. Very unprofessional. I don't understand how you would advertise a property on your site that is already booked by someone else and after reading other reviews this seems to be something you guys do often. It's not fair to people who use their hard earned money and put trust into your site. We are out of money after putting hundreds of dollars in gas and renting a van only to have to turn around and go back home. I really wish I could speak with someone in headquarters.     I have been a regular customer of Booking.com for several years and had recently a few interactions that were very disappointing. I have realized that Booking.com is subcontracting some services to other companies and does not have visibility on what these subcontractors are doing.

    Case 1 - I booked a package hotel + flight but the airline charged me directly for the fare I booked. I needed an invoice for the hotel portion of the booking to expense with my company and after several back and forth, I have never been able to get that invoice. Booking.com was incapable of finding the reservation.

    Case 2 - I had to cancel an hotel room, called the customer service to cancel who asked to pay a cancellation fees that would be given back to me in form of a credit. Turns out it was a subcontractor (a company called Travelout) and when Booking.com accepted to refund me without penalty they had no idea/visibility of the subcontractor which I had to deal with directly and literally threaten to get the cancellation fees reimbursed. Noteworthy I had no idea I was not speaking to Booking.com on the phone when trying to reach customer service.

    Last, any reservation Change request has to come from Booking.com since you book through them but on your online account, Booking.com always directs you to the hotel who cannot do anything about it. So frustrating. I just canceled a stay because I could not check out one day earlier and Booking.com would not respond. Too much drama and hassle for a site that should make reservations easier and ends make everything much harder than necessary.

    BEWARE. I rented what I thought was a Chevy Spark fuel intake and got to the Dollar counter and it was an electric vehicle. Dollar Rental upgraded my car to a fuel $659 Camaro and canceled the $319 Chevy Spark under my reservation. Booking.com site tells you to contact Dollar to make changes also. Booking.com charged me for the $319 Chevy Spark I never got and Dollar charged me for the Camaro.

    I called Booking.com and they told me if I go to the Dollar counter and call Booking.com and have the rep tell them on the phone that I had a different car that I would get a full refund so I drove over an hour back to the airport and both reps talked on the phone and I still did not get my full refund. They told me I would have to file a claim after the reservation ended. So I get to be out of $319 until I file a cumbersome Claim. Plus I have in writing from Dollar Rental I paid in full for the Camaro and cancelled the Chevy Spark. It seems like a bait and switch at the Dollar Counter and Booking.com is hoping you won't file a claim so they can rake in an additional amount for a car you never get. DO NOT USE BOOKING.COM!!!

    I stayed at a hotel, the hotel charged me, Booking charged me as well. The hotel Stated Booking is NOT to charge you. So I now have two charges for one stay. I spoke with the hotel manager to assure she didn’t get paid twice, she gave me a receipt with the correct charge. She received payment once, and so did Booking. I called customer service, 25 minute wait, spoke with a representative who barely spoke English, so I’m not sure he even completely understood what the issue was.

    After 20 more minutes of trying to make him understand the problem, he began to argue with me about an attachment I was asked to submit. I had two documents, one was the screenshot from my bank with the charge, and the receipt from the hotel, which he would not let me submit to help dispute the charge. I got so frustrated I ended up hanging up. I am waiting to see if the funds are released back to my account in a day or two… Booking really needs to do better… I had proof that the hotel stay was paid, if he would have let me submit this, this whole issue may have been avoided.

    Through Booking.com, I booked a beachfront room at the Hilton Garden Inn in Orange Beach. I’ve included pictures, Booking.com sent me along with my confirmation. All of which was completely FRAUDULENT! I arrived at my room to have an excellent view of the balconies across from me. No Waterview no pool view and in no way the beachfront view I had booked. Because the Hilton no longer had beachfront rooms available, BOOKING.com insisted that I take another room without waterfront. Because I refused, they are citing me as canceling my room and refusing to refund.     I had a terrible experience with Booking.com. After booking a hotel in Gordes, France, they acknowledged my refund but failed to process it despite 14 emails and multiple calls. Still unresolved.     In Jan 2024, we reserved a vacation home (Whistler, BC, Canada) on the Booking.com site. Their instructions were to pay the 'renter' directly. We communicated with the 'renter' and paid our deposits. In Jun 2024, the 'renter' cancelled our reservation (without our consent) and has disappeared (with our deposit). Booking.com has (so far) been slow to respond to our refund requests, hiding behind layers of customer service that will not provide updates, repeatedly asks for the same information, and on three occasions simply disconnected our calls. In our opinion, Booking.com does a poor job of vetting their suppliers and offers an easy and available platform for fraudulent listings.

    I used Booking.com to reserve 3 weekends to visit my daughter at Purdue and go to a football game while there. We reserved in May for September and November. After booking we bought tickets for the games as well. The site was easy to use. No need to pay now - just pay when you get there. Now 2 months later I get an email saying they are cancelling the reservation and I need to rebook at more than double the cost.     Waiting for Refund. My son booked a flight to attend a family function in another province and the airline filed for bankruptcy. He is out 1k and have been promised a refund since June, but only when they received a refund from the airline trustees. They keep promising to call back after each phone call and never do. They are the ones that should be paying us, we paid them. This business needs to be shut down before they "steal" more money from innocent consumers. My recommendation to others is deal directly with the vendor, it may cost more but you will not be out of your money. They obviously do not care to monitor the status of their vendors, this could have been avoided should they have had kept tabs on them. They truly do not care about their customers or return business.

    I booked a hotel reservation on Priceline, I get to the hotel and the rate is $51.00 a night more than the hotel. This is crazy. And when I asked for a price match I got the runaround about who can approve it. I will not be booking through this any no longer. I travel very frequently and never noticed this until now.     Just want to share my experience with Booking.com with others here. I booked a hotel in Japan with booking.com. There's limited options when you order an overseas hotel. I searched online before and eventually give a try to booking.com. Their listing is messy compared to others. For the same room, they list it with so many option like 1 men, 2 men, 1 bed, 2 bed, etc, which make them seems there's a lot of options. But also confusing the customer at the same time. I ordered a hotel for 2 person with breakfast. Before I clicked the "submit" button, I double check everything. But after I submitted, on the confirmation page it listed as "1 person" only. I am sure I didn't make any mistake so the only reason is that they copied and pasted the information when they created the list so "1 person" option shows "2 person" there.

    Anyway, when I figured it out, I cancelled it right away. It is literally less than 3 minutes. Later on I got the refund from them, the refund is 40 cents less than what I paid. I contacted them but they just pretend stupid and refused to refund me the whole amount. They said it is due to the exchange ratio changed. But it is just cancelled instantly and even the ratio changed, they are not like have my money changed to Japanese dollar. They just "hold" that money at that time. Apparently they can fully refund you but they just don't want. They want to make you feel sick. Well, 40 cents is totally nothing, not even worth the time I spent to contact them. But from this case I totally realize what they are.

    My girlfriend and I reserved a room just to get away for a night last Saturday. I booked it through booking and it was paid for. I had a golf outing and she couldn’t get to the room til around 630 in the evening. It was the last room available anywhere in our area due to a convention and I had never stayed at an extended stay America suites before. It looked ok but it was just for a night. Well she arrived before me with my confirmation number and receipt so she could check in and screwed it up whether it was booking or the hotel and charged her card for the night as well. The hotel realized it was paid for and tried to refund her which she still hasn’t received and I know that’s the hotel's fault but this hotel is another story and bad review. They gave her the key and she went up to open to door to a nasty uncleaned room with garbage, dirty towels, dirty sheets, and just a filthy dusty room.

    We were not going to wait for them to clean it as they had all day and it was already getting late so they canceled it as it was their fault. It is almost impossible to get ahold of someone from booking and when you do the customer service is terrible. I was told by the hotel that I need to contact them which I did and said it would be taken care of which it still hasn’t been. I will fight this until I get my refund. I’m not paying for a room that we did not stay in. It was mostly the hotel's fault, but I’m frustrated. I have the direct number to the hotel and Booking isn’t able to dial the number to just speak with them to confirm the cancelation or so they say. And also they sent the hotel an email but it was probably to the corporate office not the actual hotel. I will never use or recommend anyone to use booking due to this terrible customer service.

    Hello, I tried to booked a flight from Toronto to Vancouver on June 23rd and unfortunately a glitch in the system, processed my Visa payment but did not confirm or book my flight reservation. I have no flight or no confirmation email, just the confirmation from my Visa account that the Canadian dollar payment went through. I have been exactly a month and 3 phones to the customer service call center, 3 different people, a written confirmation that I would have my money returned at the beginning of July... nothing has been processed to refund my money.     So my husband travels for work and we went through Booking.com and made a reservation for 4 nights and things came up, he had to leave after only staying 2 nights. We paid for 3 nights and a 50 dollar deposit that we won't receive back. When I talked to Daniel ** the first time he got an attitude with me and hung up on me then charged me an additional 92.43. I called him back to ask about the charge that was made that I did not authorize, he proceeded to tell me it was the hotel that charged me then hung up on me again.

    Well we talked to the hotel and they said to get ahold of the third party to be refunded and they did not charge us. So I did this morning. I got hung up on, called a liar, and got called names after Daniel ** charged me for another night saying it wasn't him, it was the hotel then hung up on me. So I called back and another employee told me ALL charges was through Booking.com, not the hotel then when I asked to speak with a manager after being treated like **, they refused to let me speak to a manager then they hung up on me.     While on a road trip with our grandchildren we went to Booking.com and made reservations for a hotel in the town we wanted to stop at for the night, we needed the room for the night of the 20th but inadvertently selected the 21st. We noticed our mistake in less than 5 minutes and I called the hotel directly and explained the issue and they were apologetic but they were completely booked for the 20th when I asked for a refund they told me since I booked the room through Booking.com I would need to contact them for a refund. I went to their site and tried to get a refund but was told once the reservation was made it would not be modified or refunded. Lesson learned when booking anything from flights, rental cars, or hotels book directly with them, you don't save any money booking through anyone else and they are flexible with changing dates and refunding money if anything happens.

    If I could issue a negative star I would, I can’t submit this without giving at least one star… Booking.com is lucky in that regard. We drove across the US and our plan was to book several rooms a night because we were not sure how far we would get or how safe the location was. The booking.com website policy stated that if we canceled before 4pm we would get a refund. We cancelled our room at 2:13 (phone call is logged in my phone). On the first night (over a week ago) we canceled one of the rooms. I’m still arguing with booking.com for my refund. I have a verbal from the cancelled room hotel that they are willing to not charge us but booking.com has to cancel it because they are the ones that charge the credit card.

    Booking.com says they have to have the hotel tell them to cancel the charge. The hotel says the company has never reached out to them via email or calling…. every time we call booking to try and reach out again they say they have and won’t to it again. The hotel is a small mom and pop operation that we clearly believe is telling the truth, that no one has reached out. When I called booking.com and tried to help make the connection (trade correct email addresses or volunteered to sit on the phone with both parties) booking.com refused. End of the day, ZERO help or assistance from booking.com. I will never use booking.com again. Zero help or customer service.... all about the money, even when I’m doing their leg work, they are not even helping me close the loop for them.

    I would give this company a zero if I could. They are criminals. I should have read reviews about this company before booking my rental car. We made the booking online and when we arrived at the rental company they would not rent the car to us because my husband’s license was expired. The car rental company Thrifty said they would honour a full refund and made a note in their computer and sent me a photo of the note and said to contact Booking.com but when I did, they said that it counts as a no-show and that they would not refund our money.     I would not recommend my worst enemy to Booking.com. I have warned my bank of the fraud that is going on with them. I booked two nights in Jaco, Costa Rica with them. I should have followed my first mind because I kept going back and forth with it. I finally booked and after looking around the area and seeing what tourist attractions I was no longer interested. I also mixed up the dates. So I wanted to rebook but after the hassle I’m getting I will never book with them again. I reached out to booking.com and told them what was going on. They said, "Well as long as the hotel is ok with giving you a refund then we will also." I reached out to the hotel and they are saying reach out to booking.com. I had a frustrating booking experience in Clarion Paris CDG hotel and I am unable to get any useful resolution. Customer service is just an AI service aimed to waste time. Even if you opt to call and talk with a customer service agent. I did not and I had to wait for 30 min till somebody responded somewhere in Philippines. I wasted another 39 min without getting any result. I did not receive any email about my complaint as I never made the call..

    I have used Booking.com for over 70 to 80 hotels past three years. Each hotel I do provide my review. However, I find myself providing a review of Booking.com myself. Normally I do not use Books for flights. But thought give them a try. Made flight booking and received confirmation. However, I could not check in as per Wizz airline requirements...in fact Wizz did not recognize the booking. Tries contact Booking customer service and got reply they do not have flights from the country I am in. Tried their phone line...does not work. There is no email address to get in contact with Booking. Enough is enough...they might be good hotels but they are terrible flights.     Booking.com has failed us for the last time. We drove over seven hours to Panama City Beach and brought my daughter. We specifically booked a suite with our own private balcony and paid the overprice for it. We get here and the hotel gave up our room and said all they had was a double bed. They finally gave us a suite but it’s so run down. No balcony for us. And no door for privacy to our bedroom!! We had no towels and the hotel door to our room was unlocked. Ali’s the balcony rail is loose. Not safe. With Booking we never get to pick the floor we are on. We get treated like peasants while they take our money.     I was charged three times to choose a seat for a United Airlines flight last week from Cancun to Vancouver, BC. Twice by Booking.com (one of them was declined by the airline so I was "refunded") and once directly by United (who Booking.com said I had to call and pay directly if I wanted to choose my seat). In this case, I was happy with the United Airlines, but I will never use Booking.com for flights again. There seems to be no recourse to address this through booking.com. They were over-the-top rude to deal with.

    I made a reservation on my phone for a Marriott Courtyard in Somerset NJ by mistake. I had searched for a hotel in Basking Ridge NJ. I drove to the hotel in Somerset and asked to cancel or move the reservation to the correct hotel and they helped me cancel it w/ Booking.com. The employee of the hotel told Booking.com on the phone there would not be a charge. Booking.com sent me an email saying they are trying to cancel the reservation but have not heard from the hotel. A BOLD FACED LIE! I waited 2 days and called Booking.com again and they told me they didn't have a record of the cancellation request.. ANOTHER LIE. I made the request and tried to stay on the phone until I got the email but they hung up on me (this was the 3rd time they hung up on me). 2 days later they told me the hotel didn't approve or respond to the request and denied my refund.

    My daughter and I booked two room with double beds through Booking.com. The hotel Quality Inn and Suites 3400 N Everbrook Lane Muncie, Indiana only had one room with two beds. The hotel GM Robert offered to give us a refund and told us first to contact Booking to inform them, we did at 1-888-850-3958, they acted like they couldn’t hear us. They hung up on us, put us on hold then hung up, very unprofessional. I do not recommend anyone use them, a bunch of professional scammer.

    Booking.com may have been a good company when it was a small starter, now it is a rapacious, deceitful company with the worst customer service on the phone and online. If you cancel, EVEN FOR MEDICAL REASONS, they WILL CHARGE YOU THE FULL AMOUNT. You need a pin number to even get out on hold, and the pin number is not readily apparent in the confirmation email. Then you are out in hold for an hour or more.

    I recently made a reservation with Booking.com and it said all taxes and fees are included. Upon calling I found that I would be paying 50% more for the stay because they did not list or include all taxes and fees as indicated. I got on the phone with their customer service department and they told me to call the place where the booking reserved or their 3rd party affiliate. The reservation of course will not pay for booking.com's mistake and the affiliate is a Chinese Investment company. Booking.com basically said they will not do anything. I wanted to just cancel and they said that I couldn't.

    I had very bad experience with Booking.com. Frankly they don’t care about customer service. Beware that the companies they line you up with might not honor their contract and booking won’t help. I recently had a car rental problem where the car company wouldn’t accept my license at the airport we landed at. Booking charged me anyway and wouldn’t help in a refund. I had to go to another rental company and get a different car. Booking.com doesn’t have a number to contact in the USA. Beware and remember, if you have a problem, they won’t help and they are nonexistent for emergencies

    Do not use Booking.com! They do not care that hotels that are dirty, smell, unsafe and do a bait and switch on the room that was reserved are listed on their site. You are made to believe you are reserving a decent room until you get to the hotel and the advertised/reserved room doesn't exist. Booking.com does not guarantee anything and will not provide or make any real effort to get a refund even if you did not stay at the hotel involved due to the previously mentioned conditions. Don't waste your time and money with booking.com

    If I could give this booking service zero stars, I would. The customer service is non existent. We never received a confirmation number. Using the Bookimg.com website to request a confirmation number resulted in a message saying there was no booking for that email. When we arrived at the hotel, we were told there was no reservation there, however, there was a reservation for us at a sister hotel 90 miles from where we wanted to stay. The hotel was unable to transfer the reservation because it was made thru a 3rd party. Without a confirmation number, we were unable to speak to an agent at Bookimg.com to cancel or transfer. Terrible, terrible service! Do not use!

    I booked a reservation through Booking.com for a one night stay in New Hampshire at a popular beach. I paid over $300 for a room to what I thought was going to be a three-room with a balcony, which is exactly how they advertised it and I have the screenshots. When you think of a room with balcony, you’re going to assume there’s a bedroom, a bathroom and either a living area or a kitchen one or the other… When we arrive to the hotel, they placed us in one Bed with bathroom and balcony. The front desk also informed us that Booking.com did not pay for a three-room with balcony. They only paid them for a king-bed suite…. So not only did they steal my money, but they also screwed us on our vacation…. I did a chargeback on booking. They suck, never again.

I had to explain things over and over telling me the money takes 5 days to go in my account. After a month they kept my money and never got a refund.

    I am a customer of Booking.com for many, many years, and had Genius Level 3. Suddenly I received notification that my email address was changed, which technically you should not be able to do, as it was entered only once when you are registering on the booking.com. I went on booking.com, and logged in with my regular email, and was able to do it, but then I realized that all my information is basically gone, and the site looked like empty, and then I noticed that my Genius level got down from 3 to 1???? How is it possible? I had a feeling that my account got scammed and somebody else is using it now...

    I emailed customer service many times.... No answer... There is no customer service telephone number so you can speak with a person.... Definitely the service is down, down, very poor communication, I am planning to delete my account as I am not feeling safe anymore on booking.com, as there is nobody who can solve the problem if you have some... and I see that many people are disappointed and not happy with booking.com. Definitely NOT recommended.

    I booked a hotel and was debited, 2 hours later I received an email saying that the booking cannot be confirmed and that I will be refunded in 7-12 working days. I began another search for a hotel and realized that the initial hotel I booked still has vacant rooms, so I booked again thinking that the initial booking is now invalid. I never received any refunds, and I keep calling and emailing customer care with no resolution. Very frustrating experience, the average waiting time to talk to customer care is about 30 mins. No online chat. I will advise not to use their service!!

    I booked a Hotel early thinking I would get a cheaper rate, I checked out of curiosity about 3 weeks after booking my stay to find the rate was $2xx. cheaper than my rate. I messaged Booking.com customer service, they asked for proof so luckily I had taken a screenshot so was able to provide them with the info they requested. I got a response the next day saying my stay did qualify for their Price Match guarantee that after my stay if they charged me the original rate I would get a credit of $261. I went on my trip and was charged original price so I contacted Booking.com and sent copy of my invoice. I expected their reply of the picture being blurry so sent again, after a couple back and forth messages they said I was entitled to $60 refund.

    I sent them screenshot of the message from their customer service saying I was entitled to a $2xx. refund and was informed that was an error. I requested an itemized breakdown of how they came up with the $60 figure and have gotten no reply, so my suggestion would be to just book directly with hotel. I have never had a problem dealing directly with hotel and rates are very comparable. I would stay in a tent before I ever dealt with Booking.com ever again. I can show proof of everything I have claimed in this review if anyone would like to dispute.

    I had a very bad experience with Booking.com recently. We booked our hotels to Italy and Paris from here. It was stated that we will get a free airport taxi. When it was time to reach to Venice and book our taxi, that offer part conveniently disappeared from the app and booking.com was offering us 5% off on taxi.

    It was showing about €75-180 based on different locations we were staying at. Best part - we paid just €15 to reach to our hotel. I thought maybe they will just offer taxi from airport and not train transfers. So, was hoping we will get it from Rome to Paris. Surprise there as well because that offer disappeared as well. Pathetic that this well know site is scamming its customers like this. I will never use this site again. Had used multiple times until now.

    I have used Booking.com in the past and haven't had a problem, but my latest booking was cancelled out of the blue, and they cannot offer me any answers on compensation. They have told me to book another hotel then they will see what they can offer, if they can offer anything. Taylor Swift is in town and now hotels are 4x what I had booked. Now I have no answers, all they do is talk in circles and take no responsibility, I suggest using another site or booking through the hotel or VRBO as they help their customers when cancellations happen. VERY DISAPPOINTED. When I asked to speak to someone who could give me answers I was given the runaround, so now I have flights and no place to stay. Thanks Booking.com.

    I booked an hotel stay online through Booking.com. I booked the room and the next day I wanted to cancel the booking. I called Booking and talk to someone and the person said that they would do it and that was it. After hanging up the phone I notice within 2 hours I got no confirmation of the booking being cancel. So I thought about it and wanted to give them time to cancel it so I waited all together 4 hours, started at 9 am. When I called the woman tells me that the guy I talk to never even put in for an cancellation. So I told her to do, now she is telling me that it's too late to do, of course I was upset cause we are talking about $350. Now my reservation is just sitting there even though I have already went on the trip.

    I was able to contact the hotel and they sent me an email saying that they have cancel on their end. The manager told me from the hotel told me that Booking.com can go into the system and cancel it themselves but for some reason, they are not wanting to do it. I keep calling and still no one is helping me or anything. At one point they hung up in my face, it's ridiculous. The hotel told me that there was also someone told her that booking is also doing that to them. So they are knowing what they are doing. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THEM!!!

    Booked a hotel + rental car for travel through Austria through Booking.com. Hotel turned out to be fine (although actual price of room was higher at the hotel than what I was quoted on the reservation). Rental car was a disaster - I got a notice that my rental car had been cancelled the DAY OF.     I booked a room for Panama City at the Holiday Beachfront hotel. I paid in advance when I booked. When we got there the room was so nasty we couldn’t stay there. I immediately canceled the room online. Wrote a review as to why. I went downstairs and checked out. Per the cancellation policy by canceling that day I only should be charged for the 1 night. Booking.com says the property should refund me .. The property says booking.com should. I have called .. done chats and NO ONE will help me get this resolved.     We check in to Howard Johnson by Wyndham in Galveston TX. Online it showed a pool large enough for a large crowd. Apparently NO Pool. They also provided breakfast in large enough space for an entire family. We'll again, the space was large enough for 2 or 3 people at one time. Rooms were not what pictures online showed to have. In turn we canceled our stay through Booking.com and returned our keys to the same person that checked us in. Three weeks have gone by and yet to see a full refund. According to the property they are saying we used the facilities. I want everyone to know not to stay at this hotel. That is why I will NOT give this hotel nor Booking.com a good review.

    I use this website to buy flight tickets with “insurance" but unfortunately I have to cancel my trip and when I tried to cancel or change, they don’t allow me to cancel, they send me to “gotogate” the insurance that will help me, but everything was a show because the only thing they wanted was my money, they don’t care about anything, the only reason that they accept to do something for you is if you present your death certificate!     We booked Mamo Loft apartments in Florence for 387 Euros for one night. An attempt was made to collect the payment last week on Thursday - this did not go through; it is unclear why as I had sufficient funds. Booking.com did not email me and cancelled the booking. I am only now finding out that it was cancelled the day before when I am trying to find out checkin details. I will not be using Booking.com again because I can no longer trust the site or that there are effective processes to notify me of payment issues (or at least keep the booking and make additional attempts). I know of other people who have had this issue which shows it’s not a one off. This is terrible service and a horrible experience. I am now having to find more expensive accommodation that is of lower grade and so have suffered a financial loss. I can no longer trust Booking.com. This is a failure of the most basic nature.

    Be careful when booking with Booking.com. Make sure you keep an eye on your reservations, stay on top of what the representatives indicate as ok. I have experienced Booking.com pinning me to canceled reservations, explaining I will not be charged and actually get charged, extra random fees, and not so good customer service and care. I didn't stay at Hampton Inn Granville, my reservation was to be canceled per my attempts with customer service, even with the hotel and still charged. I do not appreciate Booking.com representatives nor Hampton Inn in Hershey Granville customer care for their lack of care to fix situations and lack of response to fix concerns.     I booked the airport taxi ride with my flights through Booking.com. The taxi company contacted me a day earlier via WhatsApp and I told them that I need a booster for my five years old son. Next morning as I was boarding airplane, they told me that there will be a $40 extra charge for the booster, which is crazy as it’s higher than the cost of purchasing a booster! I told them that I am not going to pay that, the response was to cancel the booking if I am not willing pay the extra cost!

    I didn’t have much time and I canceled the booking very quickly before switching to flight mode, but I got an automated email that there is no refund as the cancellation was less than 24 hours before the time! I ended up in Vancouver airport with no taxi ride, and lost $80 without getting a ride! I contacted booking.com taxi customer service, but they were no help at all, I even had to pay long distance charges for my 39 minutes call with the customer service! I ended up taking Uber for only $40 cost for the whole ride! Booking.com taxi Is the worst ever! The worst customer service! Booking.com thief allowed their taxi provider to steal my money without providing any services!

    I booked an apartment. Stay through them in Hungary, the corrupt people put a very old microwave in the apartment and it died while it was there, they blamed it on me. Of course. That's how evil people work. Booking.com would not support me in any way, they told me they could do nothing To get my money back.     If there were negative stars this company would get that rating. Disappointing that my reservation was not able to be pulled up at the hotel. After a phone call with customer service and Booking.com calling the hotel and a 30+ minute long conversion between the front desk clerk and booking.com at 1:30a, booking.com would not release my un-found reservation so I could get a room. Further, when asked by the hotel front desk to speak with a manager the clerk, Rachi, became hostile and failed to produce a manager and the hotel was out on hold for over 20 minutes, all the while I was still on hold with the same booking.com employee, Rachi. Oh...and they hung up on me after 32 minutes of being on hold. I would have been at the hotel for 4 hours total before my flight and just wanted to sleep.

    Never use this disappointment of a company for anything. Disgusting.

    We were utterly disappointed in Booking.com. We reserved a hotel stay but could not gain access to the lobby upon arrival. The property looked abandoned with broken windows (boarded up with plywood) and unmowed grass. We were not able to contact anyone or get an answer at the phone number to the property and ultimately had to find a room at another property. This was a disgusting experiance and Booking.com is yet to respond, offer assistance, or a refund. I am not surprised that 97% of the Booking.com reviews are 1 star and would probably be less if a lower rating was offered.

Called them four times begging them to send a confirmation email to Best Western Plus hotel to in order to keep my reservation and confirm my stay at the hotel.     I booked a stay through Booking.com at sky residence Inn in Vancouver Canada for December. Out of the blue sky residence Inn canceled my reservation. I paid over $2700 through Booking.com.     They are almost impossible to reach via their site online. Apparently, properties HATE dealing with them and treat guests differently. I had no idea that properties discriminated guests who book in that manner. Other guests shared horror stories and recommended always going through the property for reservations. When our property had to move half of our party to another location, booking.com did not reimburse us for the room we did not get at the original site. I'm never using them again.

    I use Booking.com a lot when I travel throughout the year. Up until now I've had a great experience and it has been a convenient tool. I was booking rooms in October 2023 for a trip in June 2024. Some destinations changed so I had to cancel three rooms that I had booked at one hotel and change it to a different city. I made the change in November 2023, long before my free cancelation expired. I received an email stating that my reservation was canceled successfully. When June came around I was charged for those three rooms I canceled. I spoke to the property and was told that Booking.com never emailed them the cancelation and to call Booking.com. I spoke to Booking.com and was told that they spoke to the property and I would be reimbursed. 10 days went by without reimbursement. I called both parties again and now nobody returns my call. All I can say is that customer service for Booking.com has been a HUGE failure.

Crappy room and when I ask for the one I booked they said they were so busy and they don’t have any at the moment. When I call booking.com didn’t help me at all.     I DO NOT recommend booking through Booking.com! I booked a reservation for my birthday in Houston, but due to them having hurricane beryl, I was not able to come done there. I was informed by booking.com representative that that certain property wasn’t affected. I don’t know if they thought I was coming just to stay in the hotel, but other areas throughout Houston were flooded and without power. They keep giving me the run around about getting a refund, saying my room was non refundable then said it could be an emergency override if proof was sent of the weather conditions I was claiming.

    I sent numerous supporting documentation but still wasn’t enough. I then ask if I could just change the dates and another excuse was given, “contact the property”. Not only did I reach out to the hotel but they said nothing could be done through them since I booked through booking.com. This went on for days and hours and still issue was not resolved. I even attempted to speak with a supervisor but every representative just kept reading notes left on my acct. and giving me the same response and when I was transferred, I was hung up on every single time after being on hold for over 30 additional minutes. So here I am out of $500+ and a ruined birthday!

    I have been using Booking.com for a long time and was never dissatisfied till my last trip. I searched accommodations by Big Sky Montana. One of the suggestions that Booking.com listed was Big Sky Motel which I chose to book. This was our second place on our trip to the Yellowstone National Park, next was in Livingston Mt. As we were checking out of our hotel in Great Falls Mt. I was plotting the route for our next stop which Was going to be Big Sky I realized that the Big Sky Motel was not in Big Sky but 500 km in the other direction in Superior Mt. I cancelled the room right away in the morning but they already charged me the full price. I have been trying to talk to a representative from Booking.com about their misleading information on their booking page but I have not been able to find any number to call.

    Needed a resend of a confirmation email that I accidently deleted. Called and the girl on the other end stated "You don't even have a reservation at this hotel for those dates". I told her, "You already charged me for it a month ago". She stated, "the bank probably gave you a refund", I said, "nope"..So, I called the hotel directly and they confirmed my reservation that Booking.com could not find. Their website is awful, and their support/customer service is not here and you cannot understand anything and they have no idea what is going on.

    Awful customer service. No phone number to talk to someone, the app does not help with your flight changes. We have always used Booking.com. We will never use them again. Velocity has better service for changing flights. So frustrating.

    There is absolutely no customer service or support from Booking.com. We needed to cancel our reservation due to illness and requested a cancellation. Booking.com reached out to me and told me they had not received a response from the hotel so I needed to work on it myself. This is laughable considering they are making a commission on this and every transaction. Do not waste your time with this service. Go directly to the hotel and you will have better service. I called the hotel directly and this is what I was told. They had not been contacted by Booking.com, that is why they had not received a response and if they had they would have canceled the reservation. I have spent some time checking on future reservations, none with Booking.com, and the amounts directly with the hotel are better than Booking.com. So do not waste your time and the aggravation.

    I booked 4 around trip flights from Atlanta to Seattle. Traveling with students for a national conference. When the receipt was downloaded it showed that I had only paid 1.07 of the 2385.87 owed, which was incorrect. Live chat was unable to help correct the receipt. After a 6 minute wait on their customer service line no one was able to correct the receipt. I was informed that they only charged me 1.07 and that the airline charged the remaining amount. I never gave my payment information to an airline or gave permission for it to be given. (Bank statement showed an original pending amount of 2385.87 to booking, then a change to 1.07 and 4 separate charges 596.20 from the airline). When I asked why my information was given to 3rd party I was then told it wasn't, which directly contradicted what I was just.

    When I asked to be transferred to someone who could help with getting a correct receipt (I know customer service can only do so much) I was told he could not transfer me. He suggested I end the call and call back. When I explained that that make no sense because I would just get another customer service rep. I was told that was all he could do. Booking.com saved me no money, possibly compromised my payment information, and has no real customer service or any way to resolve issues. I liked having my trip information in one place since I often repeat trips taken for work. This was the first time flights were booked using the site and it will be the last time the site will be used for anything.

    I had used them a few years ago and all went okay. They must have changed management, because we had an awful experience last week. Their App must have been hacked. The reservation for a hotel I was making, popped up immediately saying it was cancelled and my PayPal payment could be refunded in 24 hours. So, I made another reservation for the same hotel, and it went through. When I checked into the hotel, it had 2 rooms reserved instead of the one, and I was charged twice. It took 3 days to finally get a refund. Thanks to PayPal, who had my back! In addition, the hotel was not very well maintained and had some major flaws.

    No point in booking.com to even exist as they are not able to keep their customers safe from scams or bad properties. Our booking was confirmed and paid for. We arrived at the property and it was all false advertising. No pool was functional and this was the main reason we booked the stay, no stove was available for use with a gas leak occurring, place was filthy with sticky floors, bugs, and food everywhere. Towels and bedsheets had stains and bugs. Water was not drinkable and smelt horrid with fruit flies flying out of drains. When I tried to get a full refund from booking.com they told me they can’t do anything and I should talk to the host. The host disappeared and won’t respond. For a $3000 stay booking.com told me they can give me a 25 euro voucher. What a joke. Everyone please use Airbnb or Expedia. Never could imagine this kind of response from a big company that’s suppose to be the safe middle man.

    Don't trust them at all, they are irresponsible, and they don't have professional staff, after booking the hotel, they canceled the reservation without notice, and the customer service didn't help at all. They just sent an email to talk to the hotel. If I wanted to talk to the hotel, why would I book the hotel through the app?

    Customer service is not helpful, they are rude and do not care about the service they provide and they have no problem advertising for unsafe properties that have illegal activities in the wide open. The hotel I booked had boarded windows, fire alarm covered with bags and duct tape, stained sheets, no working outlets, graffiti on bathroom walls, we heard gun shots and sirens. It was filthy place that rented rooms by the hour, we couldn't stay and Booking has not issued our refund and it's been a month of providing photos etc. They have given excuse after excuse.

    Be Very Wary of using Booking.com for arranging taxi services. Prior to a long and trying flight from Portugal to Oregon our daughter, trying to be helpful, booked a taxi to meet us at the airport and take us to our home. All went well, and we were soon back home which is only about a 5 minute drive from the airport. I noticed the taxi meter showed a charge of $16.

    I called our daughter to thank her for her help, and asked her how much she paid for the taxi. I was flabbergasted when she said it was $140!! That must be a mistake, but, as it turned out, it was no mistake. When I inquired at Booking.com they confirmed that the charge was correct for any taxi service from the airport to the city of Eugene. I called several taxi companies in Eugene and none of them charged more than $20 for such a trip, even if the pickup was at 3:00 AM.

    I told my daughter she should open a dispute regarding the credit card charge, which she did. She was finally given a $100 credit from the card company, but as she had signed an agreement for the fee, the card company could not legally dispute the charge, no matter how outrageous. Live and learn. I will never again use the services of Booking.com.

    This company has gone downhill. Their customer service is horrible and when a problem arises, they have no managers available. I have been trying to modify my booking from 2 months prior to my actually vacation. They were not helpful at all, and when I spoke with a supervisor, as managers are not available, the customer service was even worse. The supervisor Johnny swore at me and was extremely unprofessional. It is scary that this company would leave you stranded with no solutions. Use another professional service like Expedia or Kayak.

    I use Booking.com lots for my monthly travels. I have found it great until my last experience. I booked a beautiful site to arrive and find out it's a dump with no license to operate. It was inhabitable and I could not get help for my refund of 1000. I was not aware just anyone can have an account. Buyer beware. You better really do your research or don't book through this site.

    This is the worst booking experience ever. After I booked a flight for family trip from NRT to LAX, I called them to assign our seats. Their customer service gave a scam phone number (at that time I didn’t know) 888-207-5906. The person on the other end aggressively jacked up the price. In the end, not only I didn’t get my seats through Booking.com. They canceled my flights for reason. Booking reference is **. The next 2 months was a nightmare. They blamed me and airline for flight cancellation which was a big, fat lie. I had to call and fight. I called many different departments, at least 20 calls to beg them for the full refund. They don’t take any responsibilities. I am done with booking.com.

    What do you do when the property you've booked does not live up to claims made on Booking.com, namely, that it has 5 Bedrooms and sleeps 12? We arrived at the property that we paid for in full to discover only 4 Bedrooms for our party of ten and weren't sure whether or not we should walk out and hope for recompense or book a hotel room for one couple and hope for recompense. Either way we felt certain that Booking.com would acknowledge false advertising given the documentation we provided. They pulled the listing from the website but did not reimburse us. We discovered the hard way that Booking.com is not accredited by the Better Business Bureau. What's more, they do not need to adhere to business norms or the rule of law because they are headquartered in Holland. Buyer beware!

    I had booked a hotel with Booking.com, five months prior to our family trip. I had my daughter fly out to us, from another city. A night before our trip, the hotel called us to tell us that our rooms were canceled. I am at a loss of words at how unprofessional and irresponsible this site it. They had canceled our trip due to overbooking, which is extremely thoughtless action that spoiled our entire family experience and vacation. Not even mentioning the relocation that was offered to us.     I never received my refund from the hotel to my Klarna account. I have called you, the hotel and Klarna several times and it was not ever put back on my card. This needs to be resolved immediately. I need to know what card you sent the refund to because Klarna never received or my bank.     Customer service is the worse when it comes to property do a no show. I always been using Booking.com and never had a property no show but having this one experience with booking.com is enough for me to stop using this app. You guys are the one who's connecting property with customers and when customer do a no show you guys take 100% of the money from the customer and when it comes to property no show that I have booked 5 months advanced and when I finally got to the destination after driving 5.5 hours from Toronto to Montreal I wasn't able to get a hold of the host and when I contacted you guys I was told to wait for 45 minutes. After being on a phone for 1 hour and response I got was to book another place and will refund me up to $88.22. I was already there at Montreal and already ruined my day and travel plan but since my in-laws were there together I couldn't go back to Toronto and looked for another property.

    Price for the properties were obviously higher and we have to pay extra $103 dollars for the stay and was able to check-in around 9 pm. You guys refund me $88.22 with wallet credit and wasn't satisfied so called you guys 5 times and every call was about 20-40 minutes and when I am pissed about the fact that I had to pay more and wasted a whole day in a car you guys hung up on me like 3 times because I'm mad? When I try to get a hold of managers keep on telling me why I have to talk to manager and wasted like 20 minutes every CS agent? And when I finally got a hold of the manager telling me $88.22 is the compensation? Do you guys know what the compensation means? Cancelled on a day and tell me to pay more and give me less in return and giving me credit is all you guys do for a no show for property? I can't trust this app no more. Improve your service when property do no show. Charge them money not your customer.

    Booking.com cannot be trusted or used. Used them to book a hotel room in Bay Saint Louis, MS for a concert and paid for the room in advance. When I called the hotel to make sure my reservation was made and they confirmed it was, but unfortunately no payment was received. Tried to contact Booking.com and they never would answer my call or emails. Very disappointing experience.

    We booked a trip to New York at the Hotel hotel through Booking.com. We were given a price of $1259 for 4 days. I then received a message saying that the price was a mistake on the part of the hotel. It went up to $1387. I said we still wanted the room. When we were given the new bill it was over $1700.     I made a booking for a penthouse accommodation with Booking.com and it's clearly shown on my booking. I received the wrong accommodation and the property manager has been unreachable other than his message that I never booked this Penthouse. Booking.com have not offed any assistance and made me wait 27 hours. Agents have hung up, managers refused to speak with me and Booking.com have said I need to contact property myself. Booking.com charged my credit card for a Penthouse and offered me a $38 credit to my account that I have refused. I now have a second booking with them which I now regret as know customer support is nonexistent.

    I had a bad experience booking a hotel via Booking.com. I have called customer service and they were not able to help us. My experience as below. Complaint Review for Rundel Chalet Canmore. I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with my recent experience at rundel Chalet Canmore, which I booked via Booking.com. From the moment I arrived, I was appalled by the lack of cleanliness and the overall state of disrepair. Upon entering the room, I was greeted by a dirty carpet and a broom left in front of the door. The room itself reeked of an unpleasant odor, and cleanliness was evidently a significant issue. The bed had numerous bed bugs, and there were spider webs throughout the room. Additionally, the washroom door did not close properly, and the curtains were filthy, appearing as though they hadn’t been washed in years.

    When I approached the front desk to express my concerns, I was met with rudeness from the Asian lady at the front. She refused to refund my money, stating it was my choice to book the room and that I could either accept it or choose another one. When I mentioned the foul smell, she dismissively claimed it was the “Canadian smell.” Her behavior was shocking and unprofessional. I immediately contacted Booking.com customer service, who informed me that only the owner could authorize a refund. Despite their attempt to contact the hotel, the front desk lady hung up on them, refusing to discuss the matter. Faced with such a hostile environment, we decided to leave.

    As we were about to depart, the lady disrespectfully threw the key on the desk and told us we could take it if we wanted. This behavior was witnessed by my children, leaving us all deeply disturbed. I strongly advise caution when dealing with this hotel. I recommend inspecting the room before booking or withholding full payment until you go receive the key. This experience was unacceptable, and I urge others to be wary of booking at Rundel Chalet Canmore. I have decided to take it consumer court and to fight against it. Sincerely,.

    Will NEVER book through them again. I found the room was cheaper through the hotel itself. I called to get them to price match. 3 1/2 hours later, 4 agents, 2 hung up on me. I had to screen shot the hotel's site that showed a checklist of things including the hotel's name with address, price of the room including tax, how many people, the dates, the policy, the meal plan and the link to the hotel site. Why am I doing their job! I hadn't paid for them room yet (choose pay at the property), so they should have just adjusted the price, nope. Then the refund goes in your "wallet" on their app. Such a nightmare, I even told them how we booked this because our daughter had to have surgery and I didn't need this stress.

    Booking.com keeps sending people to my private residence even tho I have no affiliation with them. Apparently some previous owners posted the property briefly and now we can't get rid of the old listing. The price seems cheap because it is an old listing. We have spent hours trying to resolve this issue to no avail. Booking.com is scamming naive guests by taking their credit card information, knowing full well there will be no beds for them when they arrive.

    I booked 5 flight tickets online through Booking.com and received a confirmation email almost immediately. Within just 5 minutes, my money was taken, and I was sent another email informing me that the booking had been cancelled. When I reached out to customer service via live chat, they were not helpful at all and kept repeating their refund policy, insisting I wait up to 7 business days for my money to be returned. I then called their customer service line, hoping for better assistance, but they too were unhelpful and couldn't expedite the refund or provide any real support for rebooking. Their only advice was to try booking again and assured me it shouldn't happen again. This was the worst booking experience I've ever had!

    I paid $521.53 for a flight for myself and two friends. Several months later the flight was canceled by the airline and booking.com notified me via email. They offered a full refund or rebook; I opted for a full refund. Two weeks later they issued a “total refund” of $62.54. I immediately called and spoke with a woman who apologized, acknowledged that they didn’t issue the full refund, said she was escalating it and I would have the full refund in 1-2 days. Four days later still no refund, so I called again. This time I spoke with a man who acknowledged the issue, apologized, and again said I should be receiving a full refund but had no idea when. I then requested to speak with a supervisor but of course none were available and apparently supervisor call back is not an option.

    Over 13 years I did trust and used this site. Seems they have a new call center for customer service. 6 calls only 2 were good to deal with and be a help. Asked for a supervisor as the case needed one.. Of course, you do not get one..In the old days, yes you could speak to one and he-she helped. Now. A lazy employee forgets or does not know to re-issue a ticket becomes my problem, and of course, the airline also says that it is not there's too!! I have been told that my stranded family should buy a new ticket and we will refund the old one???? What about their safety flying nighttime into a new.

    I hope a supervisor reads this and cares to call back because through proper channels that is not happening. Reading a script to solve an issue will not help the passenger get to their destination when they cancel a flight and do not book. Evidence that it was 90% booking.com mistake is: we received emails of confirmation of the new flights while the first one in question no one issued a ticket (avoid gotogate customer service used by Booking.com). I wish to see the mission and vision of Booking.com

The property manager which ended up being a scammer took out money and said they would refund which never happened and Booking will not proceed with the complaint nor refund. I don’t recommend. I have contacted hotel properties and repeatedly contacted booking with no real answer. All three hotel properties told me booking charged me when booking told me the hotels charged me.     Booking charged me on June 3rd 2024 for a vacation booked. The charge wasn’t suppose to be until the 4th. I called to make a change for an earlier check out date on the 3rd so I could change it before the charge was due, much to my surprise they had charged my card on the 3rd which wasn’t in my contract, it plainly said the 4th. Now they have charged my for the day after I check out. I wouldn’t recommend using Booking.com because they don’t stick to their word.

    AVOID this place if you want a safe environment for your family! This motel was terrible. AIR QUALITY IS TERRIBLE. I went here with my family to visit the Foresta Lumina experience. The walls were full of mold. You could smell it as you walked in. As you can see in the pictures, the wall are made of small wood planks. These capture humidity, mold and odors. There is an air conditioner connected to that wall. It probably leaked behind. THE AIR QUALITY was so bad I couldn't breath and woke up after 1 hour of trying to sleep over it. I ended up sleeping in my freezing car since it was 2am and couldn't reach anyone.

    The following morning, I told the owner and brought him to the room and he denied there was any problem to the room. BUT MENTIONED "that smell is normal" <-- so admitted it by talking about a smell. The 9/10 reviews date back to something like 2016. Again, If you want a safe environment for your family this is NOT the place.

    Worst experience ever.. Worst customer service. Their call center is in a 3rd world country and they don't care to help in any way.. Tey refuse to issue a refund that the hotel agreed to refund.. When I told them that the hotel sent me the same email as them authorizing the refund days ago they lied and say they just go the email but still won't refund me.

    My condo was confirmed available and I drove all the way several hours then the owner never answer or gave me access. Booking.com customer service said they'd check but they never got back to me! Had to drive home and now fighting them for refund for place they charged me for and never made available! Basically booking.com and this property owner commit fraud and I may have to sue them to get my money back. What a pain in the neck; you'd think they would at least make the refund easy.
