    I'm unable to maneuver my own computer so I decided to get iTOK's tech support. I have been with them for two or three years and so far they’ve all been great. Anyone I’ve talked to is more than willing to help. However my computer isn't working right now. What happened was I've had the tuneup and then I had a problem. Tech support then changed a couple of things and it worked the next day. But now it's back out again and I can't get in anywhere, not even on my internet.

    The gentleman I had the last time worked on my problem a good five or six hours and since it was probably time for him to go home he put somebody else on. But then when I went back and checked in there, all of a sudden it said, "Are you satisfied or not?" I didn’t answer that and I’m glad I didn’t because it didn’t change -- it’s worse.

    I can't keep my WiFi up and iTOK told me it was a Comcast problem. I like iTOK but Comcast has been out here five times and they still haven't fixed the WiFi issue.

    I am disgusted by iTOK. They charged me $149 and I didn't even know about that. They insisted that they had these records on the computer, but it's not true. I didn't give them permission to charge me that amount, I wouldn't consent to it anyway. They told me they'll give the first month free, and then they said after that it would be $20 a month, so I didn't think anything about being charged for what they did. Yes they did fix my computer, and they had all the answers, but I had no clue I was gonna be charged that amount. They're awful!

    iTOK was recommended to me by another provider. They said iTOK was very capable of fixing up the problem, which they did that's why I'm still with them.     We moved about a quarter of a mile down the road and we couldn't get on our computer. Not knowing that they needed to transfer and all that sort of thing, I called Comcast and they gave me ITOK’s number, and that’s how I ended up spending a hundred. Then I disconnected it as soon as I had a friend that came and said, “You didn't need it.” When you're a senior and you live in a care facility, you don't have extra money to spend on things you don't need. It makes me mad because after I canceled, it still keeps coming up on my screen and says, “You haven’t been checked in so long.” I would never recommend them to a friend.

    I'm very sorry that I ever got involved with iTOK. My computer is worse than it's ever been and every time I have the same issue, they keep charging me more money. I'm going to call them back because I still have an open ticket and they have not rectified the situation.

    I couldn't get on the internet. I signed up with iTOK.net and it comes up on my screen that they're checking it for things and I'm very pleased with that. I was grateful to be able to talk to somebody that's going to help. Usually though I just sit on the phone, and then follow their directions and I feel I know nothing about the computer that much. However in the end, they couldn't take care of it but they looked into it for me and suggested that I call Comcast which I did, and they got it running.

    I ran into a problem so I sent in a report for a tune-up to iTOK. We got the tune-up and it's been good. I had a short of 4, 5 items on one page and decided to print it out later. They kept telling me that Windows had to have more space in order to print that. I decided to save room printing for me all along but my space seems to be limited, so I have to get that. Dustin from iTOK helped me delete some of the programs and there's more space. They have done really good for me and I appreciate it.

    I signed up for iTOK on Tuesday for the monthly platinum plan. The representative, Michael ** was very helpful. I was having slow response on my internet. My old company, Qresolve, spent 7 hours on the computer and never figured out the problem. However, after Mike did all the preliminary cleaning on the computer, in 2 minutes, he told me the problem was the Internet Explorer browser, and he set up Google Chrome browser for me.     I have trouble getting on my computer with my internet service provider and I can't get it on part of the times so it is really not to my best advantage. iTOK.net was expensive, but I would recommend it to anybody if they have any trouble with their computer, and in getting it cleaned out.     Somebody from ITOK was doing something on my computer one time and they messed everything up. I couldn't copy or do anything on that line. I tried to pull something on the computer and something else comes up. I got the phone rep but they didn't seem to do it.     I had gotten some malware and iTOK got rid of it. I heard about them on the computer when my Norton expired. The salespeople were great. I went back because the guy gave me a 30-day free trial so I had no protection on my computer. He said it was $80 a year so I told them, "Well, that was okay I'd take the 30-day trial but I was gonna go back because it was only $50 and they did a good job." I went into my account a week ago and the money had been taken out by iTOK, $19.99. I called and they did take it and they'd put it back into my account.

    I don't want iTOK. I've told them that and the salesman has really pushed this thing. Now I get on my computer this morning "Thanks for joining." I didn't join iTOK at all! This is just ridiculous. They must have some way of getting into my computer. I've had to call them twice and they haven't called me back. I was supposed to be talking to their customer service. My biggest worry is that they have purchased OMG because they use the exact same hold music. I'm getting all kinds of vibes about this because they were pushy like OMG was. Either they bought the company or they're OMG starting over under another name.

    I was on the computer and the next thing I saw was a note that said, "Do you need help?" so I went on and told them what the problem was. I can't get my Verizon on and I knew there's a button I should be pushing but I didn't know what it was so she told me she would get me some help. A gentleman from Salt Lake City, Utah was on for about an hour and a half, and he introduced me to another fellow from Texas who went on for another hour and a half or so. After about five to ten minutes, he came back with another guy from Jacksonville, Florida. He was on for about an hour and he finally said to me, "Your problem is your modem. It's not the computer." So I called my Verizon and they sent me a piece from Texas and helped me get it on. I went to Verizon here in Akron and they helped me with that.

    The gentlemen were very kind and gentle. They understood my problem and weren't rushing me at all in the things that I had to do. I was very happy with the ones that had served me. In fact yesterday, I couldn't get Verizon and I can't get it on today either. I called this iTOK number and I waited for about ten minutes. Finally, the gal came on and said, "If you would like, we will call you back." And I said, "I couldn't do that. I had to leave." So that's where I am today. But they were very gentle so I would recommend them. Even though I still have some problems with the modem, I like their attitude, kindness and the way that they handled me. They knew how to talk with people, especially the ones that had problems.

    Back in March, I didn't realize Verizon and Verizon Wireless, even though they're the same company, they don't interface. So I went with all Verizon Wireless for all my setups. And somehow my Verizon email got dropped and I've been into the store and on the phone probably a total of ten hours. Then the guy at the Verizon Wireless store set me up with an email account with Yahoo. I wanted to get back everything I lost, but that didn't happen.

    I happened to be online on my daughter’s computer and one of iTOK's guys came on. I paid him $50 but trust me, it was worth it. The guy tried and was on the line with me between Verizon Wireless and Verizon Landlines for two hours and twenty minutes. But we couldn't resolve the problem. Verizon Landline put us on a three-way call and I gave him permission to take over talking for me. He was really nice and not rude to them but really sort of demanding to get some answers, and we almost thought we had it fixed. I think I'm going to drop Verizon Wireless altogether and do something else. So it's not fixed but it definitely has nothing to do with iTOK's service. Honestly, I would recommend them.

    I had emailed something to AOL and got them instead, which didn’t make me happy to begin with. Anyway, they proceeded to tell me how to run the computer, how to set it up, etc and ended up messing up the computer so bad that we just finally took it offline. We still don’t use it to this day. It was a brand new computer, a week or so old. I’m sure that for novice computer operators or PC operators, maybe they’ll be able to help them. But when they go into an HP machine and completely restructure it and reload with software you didn’t expect to have there and didn’t want there, then that’s not good.

    While they were working on my laptop, they changed stuff that affected my desktop and I can't get on my desktop without signing in, which I never had to do. And they took off my Viper security that I had on there and they were gonna sell me this thing for $20 a month. They told me Viper was no good.     iTOK seemed to be good and knowledgeable but the guy from the other company talked about how bad iTok is so I would take service with them but we've already paid iTok so I'm trying to figure which one I don't want. iTok seem quite honest and reasonable but I am confused when I'm talking to them because of the badmouthing. I told both of them to go ahead.

    iTok claimed that I had a 108,000 files that had to be restored and they've restored 12,000 so far, so it means there'd be another four weeks before they'd be finished. I don't understand what they're doing, when they call and put me through the steps so they can control the computer while I'm watching it they seemed nice to talk to. Both companies say, "We're the best in the world, and you make a mistake if you go anywhere else." They're both very convincing so they both sucked me in but I'm still letting iTOK run this restoration.

    I talked yesterday with ** via phone for product support for my Total Defense anti-virus software. He was fantastically nice and great at explaining things. I wanted to make sure my product was working right, because my computer seemed to have picked up some Trojan horses and other nasty bugs. At the end of the call, I asked him why I couldn't just go into the Total Defense product to remove or quarantine the bugs there. He said it wasn't a removal tool, and tried to sell me your $99 computer tune-up services. But perhaps unlike some of your other customers, I'm not an idiot.

    I know that I've at least neutralized computer threats before with anti-virus software, so I turned down the "offer" and went back into the program, where of course I was able to see that the threats had actually been quarantined and I could delete them. I feel like he was trying to sell me a bill of goods, and I feel bad for the older customers you must have who are terrified that they have some virus that can actually be dealt with quickly and for much less than $99. Your company was hired to provide support for Total Defense, and instead of helping me use that program to its fullest, you tried to sell me your own services. Not cool, and I'll be contacting Total Defense as well.

    Some real damage had been done to my computer. The techs pinned it down and said I needed to go to a local person here and have them fix up my computer; they couldn't do it over the phone. Now, what we have to do is find out what needs to be done to get iTOK finished their part of it.     When they came on board, they said they were going to clean up files and it went from about 1:00 until 10:00 that night. They did resolve getting back to my carrier which is Verizon, and they also did an excellent job on getting my attachment functions working again. They loaded one email address up and changed some things around - that went up quickly. So those two things which I really wanted done were done.

    But they did not look at the second email address that I had. I had to make a second call that I needed to have that second email address restored. They had to work on that two or three times, hence the service I was getting from my supplier was slow. There had been substantial problems in my server, and some software that was loaded in it was causing the problem as well. Days later, I got a call that everything should be up and running. The bottom line is that the work on restoring and updating files were done quickly and professionally, but some was spread out very long.

    My experience with iTOK was very, very good. I did plan on calling their technician again; he gave me his schedule. I had a couple of questions on one of my email accounts. I like their services so far and it's working okay. I first heard about them when I was looking at my new Windows machine and I might have clicked something, but all of a sudden I got a call from a gentleman from iTOK saying that I requested some assistance. We started talking and I told him that I had this issue with my computers. He then started telling me different things about MacKeeper, which is one of the programs that I had in my Macintosh. And then he told me that he could help me out so we negotiated and started then. They worked on my computer for a couple of hours.

    Some of their technicians didn't know Mac. I was put off a little bit by one of them because I didn't know my administrative password and email, and he said, "Well, we can't help you if we don't have your administrative password." He left but then I kept asking. Every time I called, I got somebody that knows Macs. That's when I got hooked up with one of their technicians which was very refreshing and satisfying because he got right down to the issue and got it taken cared of. Prior to my working with this tech, I was pretty frustrated. But it was fine once he got there and it became very evident that he knew what he was talking about and there's still life in my computer so I'm thankful. I'm going to maintain my subscription with them. It would be $20 a month sometime after June but I would maintain it after that depending on my budget because I'm a self-employed artist and it's not a constant thing for me...

    I was a IT tech working in the prison system before and I got a lot of bad experience from different products. Over the years, I’ve picked up a lot of stuff on my email and that slowed my computer down.     I chose iTOK over other tech support advisor companies because of the way the verbiage was written below the heading. I took advantage of their 90-day tune-up. They were overriding my computer via Internet as we talked and then told me to get a coffee break as it'd take them about an hour to complete the tune-up because of some malware that they had to get out. But after that was completed everything was resolved. They got the computer up and going. The sales rep I talked to was a young guy. He told me he's going to college and studying engineering. He's very helpful, all to the point that he could do what he did, and then he switched me over to an IT guy that was also very helpful. They made my experience with iTOK excellent.

    My computer is so messed up I don’t know what I’m going to do. I couldn’t find things ever since they came on here. They do things nobody ever heard of. I’m 84 years old and I’m sick half the time with this mess. I don’t know what to do to get rid of it and straighten it out. I can’t send emails. I can receive them but I can’t have any outgoing. And they have four different emails -- there were two emails then suddenly they have two of them on one area of the computer that there are no resemblance to one another and then on the other area they have four of them that are exactly the same as each other. It is a terrible awful mess and I have to try to figure this thing out myself as I have no help from anybody. These people also gave me the impression that they worked for Cox. I now find, after I paid for it, they do not work for Cox or with them. So I have no idea what’s going on here. I couldn’t be more unhappy.

    I've had a wonderful time dealing with your sales team. They just seem enthusiastic, knowledgeable and caring people. Although, I've been blessed because it seems like almost everybody that I encounter seems to be that way. They explained the situation and initially was saying that I would need a new computer and they had one quite recently but then when I explained my situation, he said, "Well, you would be better off", he said, "Yours will be slow for a while until you replace it". And it's true because I've had a lot of changes recently. And I'm better off with having the computer because they took the bugs out and cleaned it up and I'm better off not trying to deal with a new component. Although the one that they offer is extremely reasonable. And then from then on, everybody that I contacted were absolutely wonderful. I now feel like I've got somebody that's knowledgeable with my computer.

    I was able to do what I needed to do on the computer, but now, I'm going to be able to do so much more because they're really very patient. There is a lot of other people in my boat who don't quite know how to and really don't want to be hauling their computer to some shop and also don't want to take classes. Because the thing with the class, they're not like this where your immediate problem can be addressed. With iTOK, I haven't had to wait that long either because they have people answering the phone calls who can deal with minor problems, but then they have technicians who can deal with bigger problems. I spent a fair amount of time with them at first. But apparently, they are absolutely reputable and said that they have excellent ratings and so far, I can see why. Now, at $24.99 a month and from what I can see, it will be well worth it.

    I would definitely recommend them. As a matter of fact, I have spoken to two of my friends. I don't have to worry about my computer crashing or the other thing which is so common now, the viruses because that's what I had and they took care of them. I keep getting emails from them too about checking things, etc. I am grateful everyday because it could be different. I've heard people that gives much different encounters with things. I am also grateful because I do not know what I would do without my computer. It is where I order my vitamins, check my bank account, etc. When I'm counting my blessings, iTOK is definitely one of them. Having them has been an excellent experience.

    I’ve had an excellent experience with iTOK, unfortunately I quit them. I don’t have internet no more. They were very good. They were very good to me while I had it. I had 8.1 computer and the damn thing was no good. I got an old Acer 98. These guys don’t service that.

    The experience that iTOK offered was great but for me it didn't last. I'm so not knowing what I'm doing on the computer that they had set me up with my emails so that when I turn it on they would be there. Well, they disappeared. I don't know where they went and I don't know how to get them back. They gave me another 30 days to see if I could work on it for more and maybe like it and keep it, but I’m pretty sure I’m just going to be giving it up because it’s more stressful to me than it is fun.

    I couldn't access my email on Yahoo so I called them to figure out if they can get my email started again. They did the job that I wanted which got my email back. But I had to call them later to ask them how to get it off my screen because every time I turn my computer on all I had was email.     I clicked on help with a password when I was trying to do Gmail, and iTOK called me saying that they would run some things and see if my computer was infected with a browser hijacker. It led to a series of events which ended up with my credit card being charged with stuff that I didn't want. As far as I can tell iTOK did me no good at all.

Commonly, our Technology Advisors connect with a computer and notice it's been infected by some form of malware, like a browser hijacker. This can cause annoying changes to your browser settings and make it harder to get to your email. We do try to help folks root out this stuff, but you should never feel obligated to make a purchase.     iTOK did a good job on my computer but I haven't been able to get into my 200 emails for two weeks. Every time I do the email password, it won't work. They tell me I'm on outlook.com and want me to sign in to a Microsoft account. That's fine but they can't give me a password for some reason. This is really getting to be terrible. But it's probably my fault because we got so much going on here - I probably lost all the information. Other than that, it's excellent. They knew what they were doing. They are good people.
