For 2 weeks I submitted my email information for contact as to when the Nike fuel band would be in stock. For 2 weeks straight I signed on, waited for time that Nike said they would be available and each time within the minute the website was up to sell the product, everything was sold out. This is outrage that a company as big as Nike does this to consumers. What makes it worse is you try to call the customer service number at 8008066453 and the calls drops. I was a faithful Nike supporter. Now I will make it my life mission to not buy anything made or sponsored by Nike. All they have done is made a believer out of me what others have said all along about them. I'm totally dissatisfied with their performance and customer service.

I recently purchased Nike basketball sneakers for my son, as he is playing basketball for his high school. He used the sneakers only for playing basketball, and the inside sole has already come out. I am very disappointed in the quality of the shoes. Nike used to equal quality, but recently I think not, especially these days when every dollar counts, we need to be able to count on quality of the name brands we've trusted for years. I cannot take them back to the store I purchased them at, and honestly, I'm not even sure I still have the receipt because I never dreamed I would need it. Unfortunately, I will have to think twice the next time I purchase sneakers for my boys.

I received an email last week saying a limited number would be available for pre-order at 12pm EST. I had a meeting at that time, so I rearranged my schedule. At 5 to 12 EST. I started clicking my email link. I clicked it till 12:01 PM and it kept saying it was sold out. Then I searched for Nike band, (only med was available), and added to my cart. I entered in all my information and went to submit payment for it and the cart zeroed out and said there was insufficient inventory. What a joke! You don't sell out in 1 minute. This was a marketing ploy, and I am upset. You don't tell people there is something when it was clearly a lie. I am angry at Nike and what they stand for. I rearranged my schedule for ghost inventory!?! I will no longer be buying one. Fit bit at least works as an alarm and is better priced. I will be giving them my money now.

I bought my daughter a pair of Jordans. She's had them 2 weeks only, and wore them like 4 times, and they are already coming apart. Your shoes are not cheap, and I think you price your shoes too high for them to fall apart after two weeks. I believe my daughter should be able to be shipped a new pair, due to them coming apart already. I just want the same shoes she has now, that are falling apart already. She is heart broken. This is the first pair of Jordans I've been able to buy her, and they are falling apart. My phone number is **. I would like someone to call me.

As per a Nike associate on phone, I returned sneakers to Nike to have them inspect for loss of air, which they perform as a "courtesy" to the customer. I paid for postage. They haven't been courteous at all. The heel of the "like new" shoes is airless. Their "expert" inspectors took photos of shoes and said they have no manufacturer's defects and sent the sneakers back to me. I spoke to numerous other associates who, like robots, repeated Nike's company policies, rules and regulations to me, but refused to re-inspect the shoes without me paying additional postage to send them back again, because ,"they don't put the shoes on and inspect them for air loss" so "we will have to inspect them again".
All I want is a wearable pair of shoes of equal value. They are of no help at all, and will not even reimburse my postage unless their experts determine that there is a manufacturer's defect. So, basically, I have no warranties at all. I have worthless shoes that I spent hard earned money for. I am extremely dissatisfied!

Nike sent an email to me at 2:06AM, stating that their Nike Fuel Band will begin to sell at 12PM EST. I attempted an order at 11:55 EST. Nike Store online stated that it sold out as of 11:58am EST. Nike store on Twitter tweeted at 12:08 EST that they started selling the Nike Fuel Band, then 4 minutes later, stated they were sold out. They committed an act of fraud by deception, to create a rouse to get people to the site. They intentionally knew that there will be no inventory or ghost inventory to pump the 22nd, with enough sales revenue.

Why charge top dollar for non-leather shoes! Hardly any of Nike shoes, from new to classic remakes, are genuine leather! They are fake! You might as well buy some knockoffs at the discount mall nowadays, because they of the same quality! Nike has been in business too long, and has made billions of dollars to not invest in quality real leather. I say, ban Nike!

I bought a pair of Nike shoes for my 2/12-year-old son, not to mention that they were almost $60 with taxes. He wore them for 3 months, and now, they have fallen apart. I, myself, bought a pair also from Footlocker not that long ago; and the lip on them came right apart. This is ridiculous.
I don't know if you are using cheaper fabrics to save money, but I am a long-time shoes buyer. I never thought I would have an issue like this. I don't know what the steps are in sending them back to you, so that you are able to see the damage on these sneakers. It's crazy. I'm not rich, but I do like to have the best for my self and sons. So please would you send me a address to return or something?

I purchased a pair of Nike Dual Fusion TR II at a Kohls store in December of 2011. I have long been a fan of Nike products but am completely dissatisfied with this product. I am 58 years old and go to the gym 5 days a week. These shoes never leave the gym so they have never had any street wear. I work out approx. 1hr a day, so they really haven't had that much wear. The tongue of the left shoe is separating from where it is fastened due to poor stitching.
Again let me emphasize how dissatisfied I am with the construction of the shoe, perhaps if they were made in the United States the quality would be better. Since I purchased these three months ago I no longer have a bill of sale only my word that I spent in the $60 to $70 range. I would expect some type of compensation to either have them replaced or repaired.

I bought my 13th pair of Shox in March of 2011. I bought them at Champs but they didn't have my size so they ordered them and shipped them to my house. I tried them on and they felt kind of funny but I thought maybe they needed to be broke in. I wore them for about a week or two and started to get a blister on the top of my foot from a bump on the tongue. On the same shoe there is a hole on the inside right about where the side of my ankle bone is. And the outer shox on both shoes are wearing uneven. When I called Champs they told me I needed to contact Nike. I called them and told them what was going on; the lady asked me several questions and said I would receive an email with my claim number to send them back because they were still under warranty! I told her nothing would make me happier and asked her if I could send pictures. She said no.
I then stated I would have to wait till I could afford another pair probably not till income tax. She told me that would be fine and that they would still be under warranty. I ended up having some extra money I saved up to get me another pair of shoes (shox) till I could get my other ones replaced considering they would have them anywhere from 7 to 21 business days. I sent them out about a week ago. I checked the status of my claim today on the internet. Denied. Well, I would like to know what they consider a defect because those were the worst pair of shoes ever! The quality was nothing like I've had in the past. The only problem I have had in the past with the shox is the top of the shoe where it attaches always comes loose but nothing a little gorilla glue can’t fix. I'm really disappointed in Nike and I guess in their quality and warranty, too!

My Nike shoe fell apart after using it only about 10 times. Wrote to Nike and send pictures. Nike's wrote back saying their return guidelines will not accept defective products beyond 2 years from the date of manufacture. (You can find this date printed on the tag on the inside of the shoe just above the bar-code). The Golf shoe was given to everyone that played in a Golf tournament @ Braemar CC in 2009, (code # 030103). The shoes were 6 years old when everyone got them and out of warranty before they were use!
Nike does not cover their shoes from manufacturing or fabric defect, that is a rip off. Cannot believe that a company like Nike does not stand behind their products. Maybe because the shoe was made in Thailand. I posted a video on YouTube. Nike shame on you.

I am so disappointed that the label on the tongue is hanging off. I have never ever in the past paid $90 for a pair of shoes before even for myself. Now, he won't wear them at all. What a waste. Due to declining quality in the Nike products, I have just thrown away my last pair of Nike. I have been a loyal supporter & advocate of Nike since before I was a cross country runner in mid 1980s & have always preferred the brand, but over the past 5+ yrs I have found the quality to be lower than any other brand I've tried or purchased for my family.
I don't believe the tennis, running, or hiking shoes are even as good as many of the competitors. I threw away my last pair today, & the problem on every pair of Nike I've thrown away has been the glue and/or foam between the sole & the uppers of the shoes. I haven't had this happened with other brands, but on Nike the glue gives way after a few years of normal (not everyday) use & well before the shoes are worn or ready to be thrown away.
At times the foam also breaks down, but the adhesive is the main problem. I'm tired of wasting hard earned money on your higher priced shoes & receiving lower quality. Please correct these problems so you can have loyal customers like in the 70s-90s. Hopefully you can help.

I went to purchase for my ten year old daughter a basketball shoes since her season is just starting. I went to the mall and to all of the sporting goods stores, and the only thing I could find is boy basketball shoes. Nothing was geared to girls as far as the style of the shoes, only boys. I even then looked in the women's section of all of these stores and again, found no basketball shoes. So, I thought maybe these stores did not carry basketball shoes for girls or they were out of them.
I came home and went online to find my daughter some basketball shoes and I was amazed that Nike only offered one style of basketball shoes for girls. I also noticed you can filter a search by sport and the girls and women sports were running, tennis, soccer but no basketball. The men and boys not only have pages of basketball shoes to pick from but also have athletes (only men basketball players) lines to choose from as well. I am shocked and appalled that Nike does not offer more styles to girls and women that play basketball.
My daughter is more aggressive when she plays than most boys her age and could probably outplay most of them but that does not mean that she would not love to be running down the court in something that was geared more to her gender. Why does Nike also not have a line of shoes from famous women basketball players? I am shocked to realize that one of the billion dollar companies is so sexist.

I was going to wear it today to return another pair of Jordans (another story I will mention later) but there's a hairline-line crack that's occurring on the upper leather. When I bought it, I had doubts about the materials they used. Some sort of plastic-like leather. I didn't put much thought on it before until I saw the cracking today. Why am I pissed? Because I paid $150 retail price for a pair of shoes that, quality-wise, is worthless.
Which brings me to another point. I asked my brother to buy me a pair of the Jordan 13 "playoffs" that was released last Saturday. When I got a chance to get a hold of it, I was pissed at how poor the quality of the shoes is. The stitching on the right shoes is crooked, quality-wise, is a B-grade. And why am I pissed again? Because that shoes is $160 retail!
I know I'm not alone in saying this, the Jordan Brand has to stop selling lower-quality products while selling them for ridiculous $150+! I want to get what my money's worth, not paying $5 quality for $150! I'm mad because I've been an avid Jordan sneakers buyer since the early 2000 and the last couple of years I've observed how the quality of their products have slowly gone down the drain while raising up the prices.

I was playing basketball in the Nike Air Force shoe. I brought two pairs of the same shoe in different colors. I completely torn both my Achilles tendons on my right and left ankle while wearing these shoes. I have noticed that in all new Nike shoes, the ankle part now has been made with a groove to give the ankle some space to move and give as opposed to the ones that I was wearing that had a thick piece in the back that actually cut into my ankle on both occasions. I have met a few guys that have had some problems with this shoe and other, which I believe is why Nike even changed the design. I've had two surgeries and still have noted discomfort from both Achilles injuries. Some guys were calling the shoes ankle biters. They changed the design for a reason and it could have never happened in the new design. Thank you.

I bought these shoes from eBay, shoebox deals and had them for 2-1/2 months and the sole fell off. My item no. is **. They have to be bootleg/fake; Nike don't fall apart like that and they’re selling shoes for a lot less than most department stores sell theirs for. I want my money back. Their Nike Zoom, they sell for about $130.00 in the stores, but I bought mine for $23.00 + shipping. If I knew they were going to fall apart like that, I would not have given a dime for them. If I keep walking in these shoes, I will hurt myself, China made of course, got to be bootleg.

I should begin stating that this complaint will strike "ConsumerAffairs.com" as irrelevant if indeed this entity concerns itself only with the general quality of products themselves (unless of course the "inspirational" quality of a product's slogan, or lack thereof, is included in the overall definition of quality, and therefore subject to scrutiny) and not the entire package a given product is offering. Nevertheless, my concerns do merit some attention since they carry the consumer's best interest in mind. On Thursday, November 4th of this year, while browsing the racks at my local sporting goods store, I came across the Nike section when a particular slogan displayed on one of their t-shirts caught my attention and struck a very familiar, nevertheless, human nerve. The slogan read: "Weak Men Can't Jump", in big, bold letters. Previously, I have never found issue with Nike's slogans, I even thought of them as clever and empowering; "Just Do It" comes to mind. However, "Weak Men Can't Jump" is neither of these things.
It is offensive, hurtful, denigrating, and ironic, if you consider Nike's mission statement: "To bring inspiration and innovation to every athlete in the world. If you have a body, you are an athlete". Whether their slogan was an innocent attempt to induce "cheap thrills" or an effort to inspire by employing the use of reverse psychology (if you want to be strong, then get moving, jump! Become strong!), it still represents a basic lack of understanding and respect for people with spinal cord disabilities. While it is indeed true that many wheelchair-bound athletes can jump, it is also worth noting that many can't (paraplegics, for instance, would have a hard time), it is therefore, not Nike's place to judge people's character based solely on physical attributes and abilities. Such bold, elitist statements undermine not only the will and psychological strength of people with disabilities, but also Nike's mission and core values as a company.
What inspiration could they hope to bring me if I was physically unable to jump by writing such politically incorrect statements and putting them out there for everyone to see? Is it Nike's mission also to perpetuate the bullying and harassing likely to ensue as a result of selling this product? There's already enough social stigma regarding people with the aforementioned ailments and their ability to perform as equals in our society. They certainly don't need Nike to also claim that they're "weak". Thank you for taking the time to read this letter and I hope it finds its purpose.

I also bought a pair of Nike shoes and within 8 or so months the shoe is falling apart at the sole and is separating from the rest of the shoe. I bought another pair with the same problem in about the same time frame. My guess is the glue used to hold the sole to the shoe deteriorates over time and becomes brittle. Please try improving the quality of this glue. It has to be a small fraction of the cost of manufacturing, yet, if not addressed, could easily put Nike in the "poor quality shoe" business slot. I glued shoe with proper glue. Consequences are higher to Nike than me.

Today, I came across a new advertisement published by Nike. It's completely and utterly insensitive in every sense of the word. I am from West Virginia and we are faced with tragedies with mountain top removal and coal mining every day. Nike's new advertisement projects a smokey, black mountain that has been flattened with a football player in front.
The fact that they have the audacity to exploit this in any way is sickening and all together poor taste. Most sports fans are not going to be able to grasp what it means to live in a state where most of the income comes from coal mines. Unless you've done some kind of research, you can't. The thing is, West Virginia is being torn apart piece by piece by the most valuable product we have. Water supplies, a lot of those being for farms, are being polluted.
People who live anywhere near a site are being infected and killed off one by one because they're developing black lung. Most aren't here when you continually have to see entire families crumple apart on the news, because another miner passed away. Most weren't here when Westboro Baptist Church came here screaming that the workers in the recent mine tragedy deserved to die; rubbing it in their families faces.
West Virginia is poor and a lot of people are under-educated and feel they have to resort to coal mining to make a profit. It makes me sick to my stomach to think Nike is trying to distribute that as cheap entertainment. This needs to stop.

My son did not physically start using them full time until July 2010. Just this past weekend, he had a scrimmage. When he came home from the scrimmage, he said, "I need a new pair of cleats"... My response was I just bought them and they are NIKE and they are cleats, which means they should last in the toughest of events on the field... Needless to say, the front sole of the cleat came off and I am not happy at all after spending $40 and they only lasted 3 months... What can I do????

I've been buying Nike shoes for few years and one of them after 3 times use fell apart. The store in Honolulu is closed. I do not have the ticket to show, but in Kailua Kona we have sport authority that carry Nike shoes. They said the rules are harsh and I have to contact Nike. The executive offices and customer service making are it so difficult for me to get a replacement that I put my story on YouTube but they are still wanting me to ship the shoes on my cost to Nike store. If it's more than 2 years, they don't want to deal with it; and if they accept it, I have to buy at their online store. The problem is that instead of letting me go to their dealer with the shoes and issue the credit to them so I can try shoes to buy it, I would be out of lots of money for shipping and insurance and they for sure will find something to refuse helping me. Even if they want to give me credit, I can not order online because of my feet.
I never buy shoes online. I have to try them and even that is not guaranteed that it would be a good buy as these shoes end up not being comfortable and I did not use them until last week that I found out the bottom of the shoes fell apart after one hour I had them on. I do not pay again as much as the cost of the shoes to send them to Nike and get the cold feet from them. It's already cost me a lot just to buy and deal with this unfriendly and fake customer service company.
Their PR is that they would not rest until they make sure their customers are satisfied, but in action they don't care a bit about us. I'm sure they make it so difficult for us to get service that we give up on them. Nike just paid over $900k to this tennis player to carry their logo on his hat backwards. No million dollars would help them to get our service if they are so terrible of taking care of their customers for few dollars. They should have spent that money to have a customer service instead of treating us like cheap dirt. My friends dealt with other shoe companies and all got to go to dealers and were taken care of except Nike.
I needed them for my new work that I had just hired last week. While I was waiting for them to open the store, I saw the bottom of the shoes fell off and it was a very embarrassing moment for me in front of my bosses at my new job. I do not have more money to buy another one. I have been without work for months and black shoes were dress code for my work and these were the only one I had. I can not pay for shipping or insurance either to ship it to Nike. I saw a black Nike shoes at Sport Authority that could be suitable for my dress code which I hoped I could get the credit to purchase them.

We purchased 2 pair of Nike5 T-7 soccer cleats from an online store for Christmas 2009 for our daughter, one futsal (flat bottom) pair and one turf, small-sided pair. Both had dates of manufacture within the 2-year period that Nike.com customer service said was their warranty period. We were assigned customer claim numbers by the customer service representative and shipped both pair back to Nike in WA state. The futsal shoes were honored under the warranty. The black/green turf shoes, worn from Christmas through February/March 2010 were not honored. We complained and re-mailed the shoes to a higher level and received an e-mail stating that the warranty was 1 year, not 2 years. The synthetic leather on the shoes is ripping after this minimal amount of wear. Over 1/3 of the rubber "bubbles" on the heel have fallen off. The upper is separating from the sole. The lacing system is tearing because of faulty sewing.
What is amazing about these shoes that Nike will not replace due to excessive wear (first refusal!) is that the inside is not even worn. And it does not even smell bad. Wow. You should smell all our daughter's other shoes that she has worn for more than a couple of months. These shoes retail for over $100. We have been told in the past by our local retailer that Nike does not honor its warranty like Adidas does. Is there anything you can do to get Nike to give us a credit? Also, we are out of almost $20 mailing these shoes in to them two times now. These shoes were worn indoors.

In July of 2006, we purchased an aluminum Nike Torque bat for our son's birthday. The bat was purchased from Line Drive Sports for $259.00 plus tax. Yesterday, my son was practicing after school for our local high school baseball team. A pitch was thrown, my son made direct contact with his Nike Torque striking the ball, when the bat cracked. Today I contacted Line Drive who referred me to Nike at 1-800-344-6453. I contacted Nike at the number mentioned above and spoke with Sarah. I explained the situation to Sarah who established claim #1-2428656151. After I explained the situation, she apologized and informed me that Nike would replace my bat--all I needed to do was tape a copy of the receipt to the barrel of the bat, ship it to them and they would replace it. When we went over the information one final time, she then realized the bat was purchased in 2006. (I was clear with her about the bat being purchased in July of 2006). She informs me that Nike will not replace my son's bat due to the fact that we have exceeded a year. Their warranty is valid on craftsmanship and defects for one year.
I proceeded to explain to her that here in Virginia, baseball is not a year round sport, therefore; its not like the bat gets used everyday like a TV or vehicle. She stated based on their policy they were standing firm and would not replace my son's bat. Previously I worked as a Manager for the Office of Consumer Affairs for the US Government. I asked her to please escalate my phone call to her Consumer Affairs Division in an attempt to resolve my complaint/concern. Sarah informs me that her call center handles consumer complaints and forwards them up the corporate chain. I asked her to please transfer me to the next level of supervision that had the ability to resolve complaints outside of their manufacture warranty. I was transferred to supervisor Vangie employee #123810 who reiterated their policy. I asked to be forwarded to the next level, following the chain of command.
I was told the next step was to write a letter to the corporate office at 1 Bowerman Drive Beaverton,Oregon 97005, addressed to no one in particular. I attempted to follow their processes before contacting you, however; when Vangie couldn't tell me who I needed to address the letter to, I chose to write to you instead. Any assistance in exchanging my son's birthday bat for one that is not defective would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
$259.00 plus tax is a lot of money to spend on a baseball bat that lasted 19 months. All we wanted was to exchange the defective bat.
