For three years I’ve went to the 1331 north Fairfield rd CVS Pharmacy in beavercreek, Ohio! Normally I get a text message that my medication is in process and few hours later I receive a text for pick up. Not! Anymore!! For 6 months!!!! I wait days even weeks for medication that I can’t go without or else I’m sick. It’s impossible to actually speak to a real person in the pharmacy and when I do they're all!!! nasty and irritated!!! What is going on!!! I’ve had to call up there over and over just to get someone to fill my prescription. I get one prescription every 30 days. It’s the same medication. I was told by the pharmacist I need to find another place!! This is how you treat customers of years!!! Wow!!! I’m sick to my stomach about how I’ve been treated. Get it together! I assure you I will do everything I can to report every issue until some real changes are made!!!

Recent: $100 co-pay instead of 20. Filled with double amount needed. Special ordered 200 mg rather than filling with 100 mg that was in stock. Earlier: REFUSED to give me COVID booster when clerk misread my card that had a double entry. Got COVID later that month during trip. Calls: takes very long time to get through if waiting. Often must leave message and wait for response. Lines: at pick up window, often over 5 waiting. If prescription not ready, you’re put at end of line to wait (1+ hour wait for the $100 one. Learned copay when at window 2nd time). Wrong notifications: sends texts that prescription can be refilled, then can’t get because of timing. I’m going to check if Walgreens close by is better. No close independent pharmacies I’ve found yet. Simply HATE CVS and staff. Greenville RI

I was at CVS at 11563 Old Nashville Highway picking up a prescription, the lady in the window named ** asked me if I knew how expensive my prescription was. It was over $100. I stated, "No I was not aware." She said, "Let me see if I can get you a better deal with a discount card." She saved me $70. She did not have to do that, and I really appreciated it. She went above and beyond and out of her way to help me.

I called to have my prescription transferred for pick up. They told me to call the pharmacy where I wanted it picked up. The medication was available at the first store but when I called to transfer the 2nd pharmacy told me they did not have the information and I would have to call my doctor. I told them it was ready at the first store and then they told me one was not transferable. There was one other prescription I needed and I asked them to call the doctor. The employee said she would but not sure how long it would take her to get to it. Their website is not organized. I used Walgreens in the past and always had great service but now my insurance mandates CVS. This is a racket with poor service.

Every time I go to the pharmacy they are closed! It’s gotten worse the past year; they have obviously cut back on staff because they have to close in the middle of the day “for lunch” - the same time as those of us working folks go to lunch & would like to pick up our prescriptions! Can’t go BEFORE work, either, because they don’t open until 9am. So, I came at 9:40 am, and they aren’t open! Hard to understand how this multi-billion dollar company can’t afford enough staff to be open 24/7 like most pharmacies!
Last 6 months I have had to make at least three trips to pick up one prescription. I get a text that it’s ready, but I get there and it’s not ready; sometimes not even in stock! I agree with other reviewers that they are very rude, too! I don’t know what has happened, but my guess would be new CEO, CFO, or ownership that is looking for places to cut back, and doesn’t care how those cuts affect customers. I heard they are firing people right and left, and making horrible decisions about their support staff (nurses, etc.) as well. They are the absolute worst pharmacy in Texas, and probably everywhere else. I will use anyone except CVS in the future. I would give them a minus 10 if it was an option.

I went to CVS Minute Clinic wanting a Rx for a chronic problem and I knew exactly what Rx I needed. I was from out of town, visiting. I told the nurse why I was there and asked how much the visit would cost. She told me since I was on Medicare that the only charge would be the Rx, which I paid. To follow protocol, she did a urine dipstick test and it confirmed exactly what I told her, it wasn't sent to a lab. (One can buy dipsticks for less than $1 a piece and they charge $35, BTW). My entire appointment including filling out the form was done in 10 minutes. There were no other customers waiting. I stayed to pick up my Rx and had to wait, while sick, for almost 2 hours. Of course, they want you to shop while waiting.
About a month later I got a bill for $174. They didn't charge to Medicaid so I told them. Another month goes by and I get a bill for $95. This is not zero. The last call I made to them they wouldn't discuss my bill because I couldn't verify myself. I couldn't tell them the address I had used to set up an account with them. After a lot of prodding it turned out I had set up 38 years ago and I needed that address and phone number despite obviously being me with other info HIPAA. Really? Do I have to remember an old landline number? I have lived in 6 other states since then! I checked my Medicare account and CVS had told me something else. It doesn't matter. I was told $0 and they received money from Medicare.

CVS has the worst website ever. I have consistently gone in to archive previous drugs that I no longer use. I can only archive them. I can't delete them. I don't understand why not. I am consistently getting messages about getting my Flu, COVID or RSV shots when I've already had them done at CVS. The text messages I get are beyond frustrating. When I am asked if I need a refill on a certain medication I say no. Then one week later I get another message. I absolutely hate the CVS website and their text messaging system.

This place has gone downhill over the last year. The worst customer care of any business I've ever seen. Pharmacy staff are rude, and act as if they have better things to do than to help the customers. They should just close the drive thru because they are rarely there to help customers, and if they are there, they will make you wait hoping you will just leave. How does this place stay in business? We will be transferring our prescriptions to the Walgreens across the street.

Visited the Elgin, Texas, CVS located at 1300 West US Highway 290. I went in to purchase a tube of ** cream. While there, I had to visit the restroom, and that was by far the nastiest restroom I have been in in my entire life. The floor was almost completely wet with either urine or water; there was both poop and pee on the toilet lid; and the room stunk to high heaven, I guess because of the poop and urine everywhere. My stomach started heaving, so I got out of there. STAY AWAY.

Never received a call back from requests to speak with a pharmacist after four attempts (once daily for four days). Went in to see why they were not returning my calls. Was told by "Megan" that "if you keep trying to call I will block you." Apparently once daily for four days in a row (when their recording says they will call back within 3 business HOURS) is too much for Megan. And that was the end of my 30 year customer relationship with this establishment.

But when I ask them to do something for me that isn't going to get them a fat government check, they said no. I'm a long term customer. But now I'm seriously considering being a Walgreen's customer.

It was an effort for the lazy person that I spoke with to even check. It was pathetic. I explained I was very ill and needed the medication. All I could get out of lazy is "we are backed up". It is now after 8:00 p.m. and they did not fill the medication I need to breath in 5.5 hours. The Humble CVS is the most horrible pharmacy I have ever seen with the laziest most unprofessional staff. If I end up in the hospital tonight I will file suit. I will also file a complaint with the state.

For the past year or so, I have been having trouble getting my prescriptions each month. They tell me my meds are ready, I get there and they are not. And there is always a reason why one or 2 isn't filled. I make 2 or 3 trips in a row to CVS to get my meds each month. I have started calling to find out if my meds are ready because the automated thing saying your scripts are ready is unreliable. Doc called in a script today for me. I call and speak to a person to ask if it's ready. He says yes, it's ready. I drive there and no it's not ready, it's on hold for who knows why this time. Just so done with them!

I went to CVS pharmacy yesterday to pick up a prescription that I was notified was ready and check on another prescription that I was previously told was on hold. When I spoke to the cashier I asked her about being able to pick up my prescriptions and she informed me that one was still on hold because of a nationwide shortage and that I would have to come back at the beginning of the year. She then asked me if I wanted the prescription back. I told her that I understood and I would wait on the prescription but I would like to pick up the one that was ready. While waiting I video-called my wife so that I could let her know what was going on with my prescriptions.
The pharmacy worker then walks to the back and tells another pharmacy lady that I was waiting on and wanted the prescription that they didn't have in! So this new lady walks up to me and says (loudly) that they can't fill the prescription because they don't have it in and that I could either wait or take the prescription back. I then AGAIN explained that I had JUST TOLD her co-worker that I understood there was a shortage and that I would wait. I didn't want my prescription back because if the shortage is nationwide there was nothing to do but wait. Plus my surgeon had printed both my prescriptions out on 1 sheet of paper, of which I was told couldn't be cut or separated, but the CVS pharmacy workers had already (literally) torn the paper in half and I wasn't sure if anyone else would accept it after that.
So as I was again waiting on the prescription that WAS READY, the Pharmacy Manager walks up to me and AGAIN tells me that he can not fill the prescription because there is a nationwide shortage and I would have to come back around the beginning of the year. In shock, I asked if this was a joke or if was I being punked. I AGAIN explained to the man that I had just told the other two women that it was "OK" and I didn't mind waiting and that I understood about the shortage. He asked me then if I had another prescription. I told him YES that I had another prescription that was ready and that I was still waiting for. Finally he said he would work on getting that for me.
As soon as he walked off the first lady came back up to me and asked "Well do you have any others prescriptions that you want?" I told her that there was a clear lack of communication between them and that I had already told her and the pharmacy manager that I had another prescription that was ready and he said he was working on it. She then got upset and caught an attitude with me and told me that there were 2 other customers besides me and that she couldn't remember everything. I told her that her lack of communication has caused a lot trouble. She responded to me with an attitude saying "It'll be alright." The pharmacy manager then walked up to us and I asked him to please tell his co-worker what he and I had just talked about with him filling the prescription that WAS ready.
He then looked at her as if he didn't know what I was talking about and said "O does he have another prescription ready?!" And of course, she and I said YES! And as I tried to give the torn prescription back so that I could come back later the manager told me that he would not take it back because they have a high percentage of LOST PRESCRIPTIONS, so just keep it and come back at the beginning of the year.... My wife still on the video call was in shock at everything she was hearing and seeing. As the pharmacy manager walked off to get my medicine the lady at the register looked down at my phone and said "Hey you're recording me. Stop recording me."
As I was in the middle of telling her that I was on the phone with my wife, the pharmacist manager started literally yelling at me saying "Stop recording, that's illegal!" Again I tried to tell them "I'm not recording." The pharmacy manager then walked over very close to me, leaned forward with his left hand raised as if he were going to take my phone and yelled "Yes You Are! Turn your phone off right now!" I told him, "Man you can't tell me to turn my phone off." I then turned my phone around so that he could see the screen and said "I'm not recording, I'm on the phone with my wife." Meanwhile, my wife was also saying "Hello! I'm his wife. We're on a video call. He's not recording."
Then customer behind me decided he was going to speak up and said "Hey, he's not recording, he's on a video call with his wife." So I turned around and shook his hand and said "Thank you for noticing that." Then the pharmacy manager said "That's it! I refuse to accept any more of your prescriptions! Take your stuff and go!" I said aloud as I was paying for my prescriptions, "I have never been so embarrassed" and as I was leaving the pharmacy the manager yelled, "You embarrassed yourself!" And as I was telling him he better stop talking, I could've sworn he called me the word **...
Needless to say that when I left my wife and I called the complaint hotline to report everything that had just occurred. In this day and age, we understand that she may have thought I was recording but once I showed them my phone that should've cleared up. And they did this with a lobby FULL of people. Mind you that I'm only a week and a half out of a major surgery and in a considerable amount of pain while dealing with all of this. And this was at 100 E Fertitta Blvd. Leesville, LA. The first complaint representative apologized for the company and told us to expect a call from the investigations department.
When we got the call this morning after we explained what happened to investigations, the first thing that the woman expressed was that she didn't believe that happened because of their strict policies! But that she would talk to them to get their perspective and look at videos.... We pray that they look at the videos and can hear EVERYTHING that was said but because we know that they will not do anything, we are definitely taking legal action against CVS for discrimination! Much to our surprise we know what CVS stands for and represents but it will be dealt with legally.

Unfortunately, I am writing this review after months of being unable to get an actual answer and my actual medication. Over the past few months I’ve noticed a drastic change in the customer service from the pharmacy department for whatever reason they have lied about having my medication in stock. They’ve lied about ordering my medication. Honestly I couldn’t even comprehend what the heck was going on I was at a literal loss of words. I know that if I talk in a a “tone” they label you. They lied about having my medication in stock. Then told me they have a regular person who gets the meds first. To be clear, it’s the same store just different locations.
The CVS I always use has a new pharmacist who told me they didn’t have my meds in stock. Even though I called the night before (at their request) then I was told to call on the morning. After being on hold for a literal 45 min I was told my scripts would be ready in an hour. So I get there, wait in line for another 30 min (I wish I was exaggerating) then I finally get to the counter and I’m told that I was a day early and that it wasn’t even in stock. So I just left and called the next morning and again I was told it would be ready so a few hours later I get there, the pharmacist told me that I was not going to be getting my prescription since it wasn’t in stock and it would be a few days.
At this point I’ve wasted hours of my time lied to, and disrespected. The pharmacist actually said to me you it should be just fine with one of my prescriptions that both wasn’t necessary and that I could wait despite trying to be respectful and I gotten attitude and asked why I wasn’t told it wasn’t in stock after being told going to ready in an hour so I walked away.
Early the next morning I went there because I was very upset at the situation and behold my medication was in stock and was treated like garbage. But you know the pharmacies are under a lot of stress because of the closings of other pharmacies. Unfortunately I decided that I was going to use a different pharmacy but then I realized it was a whole process to go somewhere else. I’ve been using the same pharmacy, my whole entire life and I’ve been getting the same medication for eight years. I’ve never tried to get my prescriptions early. I have never had any issues. I was friendly with these people from seeing them every month. So this month I called ahead like I was told to. And guess what. I was told I needed a pre-authorization. So I had to leave a message with the on call for my doctor. So he sent in to the insurance. At this point, I was out of my meds. And leaving town.
I called the pharmacy the following day (Saturday) and was told they did not have my meds in stock… I was told to call other pharmacies and ask because they couldn’t (LIE) so I called the one closest to my town. They told me no. But that another CVS about 1/2 away had them. So I called there…. They said yes they had it and to have a my script sent over. So back and forth… and then on Sunday (I was out of town) I called on my way home to make sure it was ready for pick up. The pharmacist told me. She had regulated. Who came first. And since I used a different branch, I was told to wait for my meds to be delivered at my OG CVS. So Monday I called my store and was told they never ordered my meds because they didn’t receive a prior authorization!!! What I didn’t know was that having 2 of the same scripts Was a “new” issue.
At this point I’m in tears and nothing made sense. So yesterday I called the OG CVS and was told it wasn’t in stock yet. And try again tomorrow. On the app it still said the other store had my script still. Then they told me my insurance wouldn’t pay and over $900 would be the cost. I said I’ll have to wait to get ahold of my doctor. No one told me having 2 scripts was the issue. I’m writing this because it feels like fever dream. I couldn’t even believe this was happening.
For the record the 2nd CVS still has my medication in STOCK. But won’t fill my script. And they never ordered more because they had it in stock!! At this point I don’t know what to do…. I’m just so tired of all of it. I feel so discriminated again for having a controlled substance. I really tried talking in a calm clear voice. Unfortunately I couldn’t even talk because I was holding back tears. This isn’t ok. And I want to know if this is something I should call my lawyer about. Not being dramatic. But I’m scared I’m going to be put in a list or something.

You can no longer speak with a live person. You sometimes have to wait for hours for them to call you back. I think it is an awful way to be doing business when you have pressing issues to resolve. Sometimes you need to speak to someone relatively quickly to resolve your issues. It is very frustrating to get your issue resolved quickly like you used to be able to when you could talk to someone

On Tuesday, December 12 at 1pm, I tried to pick up a prescription at the Bedford NH CVS pharmacy. The doctor had ordered 26 tablets of my prescription, to be taken 2 times a week for 13 weeks, which is 3 months. The pharmacy filled my order for 24 tablets, which they said was a 3-month supply. Tried to explain that 24 tablets was only 12 weeks, not 13 weeks, and certainly not what the doctor had written on the prescription. I was not using insurance. The pharmacist rudely told me that 26 tablets was a "91-day supply" and that insurance would only cover a "90-day supply".
When I said that we were not using insurance and that the doctor had ordered 26 tablets, he became incensed and was extremely rude, telling me that he could do the math, and I was not going to get the 26, as the prescription called for. There was no calm discussion as to why they couldn't fill the prescription as written, and no discussion as to how to obtain the extra tablets that I need. He stated that they'd never give me the 26, as ordered by the doctor, and was crude and nasty throughout the entire transaction.
Needless to say, I did not pick up the prescription. I'll go elsewhere to get it filled. I've never had such a difficult, rude encounter with a pharmacist at any pharmacy in the United States, and I've dealt with many difficult and expensive prescriptions with pharmacies all over the country. And all this occurred within the 5 minutes I was at the counter. The pharmacist was so incredibly rude and entitled!! I think he should be fired. I'll never set foot in this store again, and I warn others to stay away from this overpriced, difficult pharmacy!

I call CVS a minimum of 10 times a month just to get someone to check my son's order. 9 times out of 10, no one will answer even after me waiting on the phone for 20 minutes. I usually have to go in in person, as I did 2 days ago after I had repeatedly called with no one answering.
Despite my diligence, my son was out of his meds for 3 days this month. He would have ended up in the emergency room if I hadn't had leftover samples of his meds from his doctor. The people at CVS do seem to work hard, especially the pharmacists, but there is a serious issue with filling prescriptions on time that undoubtedly cause adverse issues for people who receive their meds late. Next month, I will have my son's meds sent to a less-popular pharmacy, hoping they will be ready on time.

The pharmacist Melva ** is disrespectful to Veterans. She is rude to the other employees and the general public as well. She over-reacts whenever her authority is challenged, or she is asked to do something she does not know how to do, like work with the VA Community Care program. However, the Veteran has nothing to do with the bureaucracy and should not be disrespected, or treated badly, just because she needs to make a telephone call to the VA to figure out how to do her job. She also yells at people from behind her high counter which she sits on like a throne and seems to relish her ability to lord over others. Melva ** mocked my mental health issues and I heard her tell someone on the phone that I had threatened to "...unleash my PTSD on her..." which is a total lie and mischaracterization of what I told her earlier on a phone call.
I said that I was a Veteran, diagnosed with traumatic stressors syndrome and I was having trouble getting my mental health prescription filled. She then falsely claimed to some other unknown person on the phone, that I had threatened her, despite my having told her that I was letting her know about my issues out of respect and consideration for her. I was asking for help and there is no excuse for such disrespectful behavior from a so-called professional. People in Elizabethton should take their prescriptions somewhere else, like local, family-owned pharmacies to show CVS that they cannot treat people-especially disabled veterans - the way this awful pharmacist Melva ** does.

Not only was I refused but the pharmacist announced my info to the entire store violating Hippa laws. The pharmacists rudely stated that management now requires that prescriptions be rejected by insurance prior to cash pay!!!! This is not a typo!! This belligerent pharmacist actually verbally announced that CVS hierarchy recently initiated policy that all rx must be denied by insurance before cash purchase can be utilized! This is a violation of customer rights, an attempt of a pharmacist to practice medicine this medical malpractice, intentional attempts to harm customers by depriving their physician-ordered treatments all as they attempt to manipulate insurance cost!

Like many others who have posted a review here, it has been an absolute nightmare getting my prescription refilled every month. I have been taking my medication for at least 4 years and previously it was filled by Accredo Specialty Pharmacy. For whatever reason, my prescription was transferred to CVS Specialty. I understand that when it was first transferred in July there was a need for pre-authorization but then again same issue in August and September. I have called every single month and been transferred from department to department. This month, I called and asked for a refill almost two weeks in advance. The person once again stated that they needed preauthorization. That was last week.
Today I called to see what the status of my refill is and they stated that there was no refill in process! There was nothing noted in their system that I had spoken to someone last week. So, according to the person I just spoke to, they will call my doctor once again to get preauthorization. If I am lucky it will be tomorrow and hopefully my doctor will be available to give his OK once again this month... This is insane! the preauthorization is good for one year, so what happened to the preauthorizations that he gave in July and again in August? I don't know who reads these reviews but I wish there was a way to get the BBB involved and shut this entire operation down! CVS is almost monopolizing the pharmacy business.

The other medications should only be refilled at my request. I usually don’t need all of the refills allowed for the "as needed medications." CVS can’t seem to get this straight. They do things like immediately send me a prescription my doctor has reauthorized even though I still have most of the pills from the prior prescription left and refill “as needed” prescriptions every month until the allowed number of refills has been used up. I have been having multiple issues with the CVS at 11 North DuPont Hwy, in Dover De. The most recent starting in July of 2023, when they let me run out of a medicine that I need to take daily and left me to figure out why it was not being filled. A head tech, as she identified herself, called me and told me insurance wouldn't fill it until a couple of weeks later. She offered no reason, just argued with me, giving me the impression that she was the pharmacist. She told me to feel free to take my prescriptions elsewhere. Ultimately the insurance company figured out that someone had changed the amount that I get each month which caused the shortage. I requested a district manager call that never came. On 9/11/23, I received two unlabeled prescriptions and another that contained red dye, which I am allergic too. I waited until the manager was on duty.
When I arrived at the counter he was working the drive through window, while the head tech was at the counter doing nothing. This same rude head tech, said do you have a question for me. I said no but I do have one for the Pharmacist. She said I can let him know but have no clue when he will be free. You might think he would change places with him, but she seems to run the Pharmacy, instead of him, the manager. He eventually came over and offered no apology. He did verify that a red dye allergy is in my profile, so this drug should not have been given to me. He also made an excuse about the unlabeled prescription, saying that its fine that they did not have a label, everything is digital. This is not true. By Law it is expected that drugs are labeled.
I called and requested that District Manager would be calling. Surprise, once again he never called. How can we expect better from the Pharmacy, when they are not accountable to anyone. I have finally moved my prescriptions from CVS. I can not risk this type of behavior putting me in danger. Now I will just let others know, so they can micromanage their own prescriptions. Do better CVS!!

The Phone and iPad App is poor at best, service is lax and systems are inadequate. The App is Frequently Down and also mismanages account information if you have used more than one CVS. Basically the claim that CVS has so many locations to serve the public is often misleading and sometimes simply not true. Staff Do Not understand the App at all, which is a serious problem, since their telephone systems constantly push people to use the App. I avoid it when I can. As a software engineer, CVS really needs to look into the people that Develop their App and their entire System. The downtime issue alone in my view Devalues CVS as a Company.
Staff (non-pharmacists) are too often lazy, poorly trained, lack compassion, and many don't know how to deal with the public, especially people needing their medications to live happy and healthy lives. Many Pharacists should Never talk to the Public, nor train any support staff. Policies involved in Refills for class 2 medications Do Not Allow for Refill Requests until the 28th Day (best case) and often not until the 29th or 30th day, leaving little to often No Time in case there are challenges like lack of inventory. I also believe it is a serious Conflict of Interest for CVS to be in the business of Pharmacies and at the same time provide Healthcare Clinics. The privacy risks alone associated with this are great. Providing both businesses should be viewed as illegal and disallowed.

When I walked up to the pharmacy to get my prescription, I asked the associate what was happening with the short staffing. She said they were trying to get associates. I told her this was such an inconvenience, and then the other associate started to chime his 2 cents in. I have dealt with this other associate at another store that was up the street that was closed due to CVS not doing well. When I told that associate that, "Well, you are one of the problems", the pharmacist told me, "We are not doing this, get out of my store"!!! I told him NO! I was NOT leaving until I received my prescription. That is when the pharmacist continued to get very loud so everyone could hear him say, "You come in here EVERY month pulling this **".
I SWEAR on my LORD, that I have been in that store to go to the pharmacy NOT MORE THAN 2xs. What is that all about. This Really really needs to be looked into! We have sick Americans out here and this is what CVS in KY is telling their customers. I want help really badly. If you request them to call your doctor about your meds or get clairfication about this program, they will never call your doctor unless you are on the phone with a company rep. Doctors receive just vague faxes that tell them that they must approve these medications and fax them back to mail order pharmacy. There is no pharmacy name or number on the faxes just the fax number with meds on it.
Furthermore, many of patient's meds are not even listed in their system. The staff at this mail order pharmacy, clearly do not communicate well with the customers. I have had to continually call them to see if they have my need needed scripts on file. One person says they do the other person says No. What is really surprising is that I can communicate better with people I have to do business with in other countries whose native language is not English than with this company. That is how bad they are. And as for the Caremark online application, it is a complete joke. I had to access it several times through my health insurance provider and not with the app directly.

Then another Tech Support we will call her Tech B she went a bit further and told me it was showing my old insurance was still in the system and that was causing the rejection so she printed out the rejection paperwork and gave it to me and it was the end of her shift so she didn’t really have too much time for details and I appreciate her for doing that before she left I’ve worked with her many times she’s always been great and helpful Tech B.

I’m on the phone with one of the companies for the 3rd time and the Pharmacist actually took some time and spoke to the insurance company and gave a little more clarity which I am so greatly thankful for and after I spoke to that representative I had to call the other company back and they told me what the issue was and that it can be found on the paperwork that the pharmacy gave me and they asked why didn’t the tech explain the code and just give me that number or let me know who I had to contact or where to look on the paperwork and that would have saved me so much time.
So after I got off the phone with the last insurance company I am just waiting to let them at the pharmacy know I found out what it was because the number I had to call was closed until Monday and tech A just continued to take customers that walked up long after I was already standing there. I was being patient with the ones she was already helping because they need help but she just ignored me and kept taking customers and since she was the only one in the front at that point I was there for an hour I was fed up and I don’t believe in being rude and it’s not all her fault that the insurance messed up.
So I finally called the right number and they had closed already mind you I started speaking to tech A at 4:40pm so if she would have simply took the care and time to really see what was going on and give me the initial number I needed I would have saved time, got it resolved and got my medication. This was the worst experience I’ve ever had with a tech and I’ve been coming to CVS for a while. I’ve never seen this tech because like I said I never come in the afternoons. Moving forward I will just come in the morning where they have more care and patience.

Looking at my CVS app I noticed my refill date on one of my prescriptions had gotten pushed out past the amount of pills I had left. I called to get it corrected and was assured the mistake was corrected. I got to my Dr. the following Monday and when he looked on his computer he showed me getting my meds refilled the previous Saturday. Explained to the Dr. that I had called to get the refill date corrected, but he said the state showed me getting my meds refilled that Saturday and couldn’t write me a prescription. Mind you I had only one tablet left in my bottle and needed it filled that day. This is an important prescription since it is for my pain relief. Dr. had his nurse call the CVS pharmacy and they assured her that I didn’t get anything refilled and that I could get a prescription for my pain meds. So I go pick up my prescription at the Dr. office and got to CVS.
The only male that was working that day was an older man with a chip on his shoulder. He said he couldn’t refill my prescription. I told him the whole scenario about calling the previous Saturday and the mistake was taken care of. Said I couldn’t get it filled till 5 days later. Asked him how the one tablet I had left was going to last me till that Friday. Only response was, "I can’t fill it." Never tried to help me or resolve the issue. I asked him, "Who wouldn’t let me refill the meds. Was it my insurance co. or the state that I was told by my Dr.?" He said, "The state." I asked again why was I supposed to do, that the nurse had called from the Dr. office and he gotten it straightened out. He said, "I’m sorry again", but never asked anyone working there if they had talked to the nurse.
Instead he said, "You might try another pharmacy." I told him I had signed paperwork at the pain management clinic that I would not use another pharmacy besides the one I had designated to them. Still no help from him. My last words to him were, "You leave me no choice but to try another pharmacy." I leave there and go to another independent pharmacy and tell them the problem I had. The nice lady there looked in the computer system and basically told me the same thing, that it would be 5 days till I could get a refill. But she offered to call the pharmacist at CVS and actually got to speak to the man that was so unhelpful and had no sense of caring for his customers.
She explained that I had just left there and he went back into his CVS computer and told her, "Well I do see where something happened the previous Saturday." He offered to call the pharmacist that was working that Saturday that told me everything was ok. He told the lady at the pharmacy I was at that he would call her back and let her know what she said and maybe get whatever she did into the computer reversed and correct the error so I could get my meds filled. It was going to be a while we figured so I went to get something to eat and came back a couple hours later. He still hadn’t called back.
The nice lady that was trying to help me said she could sell the meds to me on a cash sale since I did have a prescription. That was my only option. So I had to pay $37 dollars for the prescription that had been costing me about $5 with the insurance being used. I had another prescription to be filled the next week and went back to the same independent pharmacy to get it filled and they had to call and get all of my info transferred from CVS to them. So now I have a new pharmacy that I go to that really cares about their customers.
The CVS I have been talking about is in Eastman Georgia for your information. The, I won’t call him a gentleman, but of the male species that I have referring to will never get a chance to wait in me ever again. Now I have been dealing with tyt CVS for several years and only seen this man just a few times. He always seemed like he hated his job and didn’t want to be there. And that spilled over into his customer relations. All of the girls that work there have always been very helpful and I hate it for them if he treats them like he treated me that day. Again this review is for the CVS in Eastman Georgia. I suggest you use one of the local pharmacies that don’t have to answer to a corporation. CVS, Eastman, Ga

The company automatically sends these refill requests to the store pharmacy and hides my actual account details from the store pharmacist, who can only see them if they go through a process to open my account and view it. In order to meet the requirements of a CVS coupon purchase the buyer must always buy more than one of an item, or buy a larger size of an item. Today I tried to use a coupon for a pain relieving cream. This product comes in 2 sizes and I chose the smaller size. I am a senior citizen and live alone and did not need to buy the large size of almost anything. On other occasions the coupon would require the purchase of 2 or more of the item in order to get the discount. I find this age discriminatory and very offensive. My Dr.'s office called in a prescription for me this morning at the CVS. The wrong medication was filled. I contacted my Dr.'s office and asked about the medication mix up. The Dr.'s office informed me that my regular prescription was called in and not the one that I received. I arrived at the Dr.'s office and the receptionist contacted CVS and asked for the pharmacist. I witnessed the pharmacist say to the receptionist that she was the ** pharmacist. She then put the receptionist on hold. That lady was on for 40 minutes or more. I called CVS and was put on hold. My husband called CVS and was put on hold. A pharmacy staff member answered my line and not the receptionist. The pharmacy staff wanted to speak with a Dr. whom was out of the office.
The receptionist responded by saying that she had the Dr.'s credentials and authorization to fill the prescription. The receptionist couldn't get any further with the staff member and asked for both the pharmacy staff member's name and the pharmacist name. The receptionist then called in a new prescription to Publix Pharmacy. My husband called the 1800 SHOP CVS number to report the incident. The representative notified my husband that the prescription can't be filled elsewhere because the wrong medicine and the correct medicine are in the same class and insurance won't pay for it. So, me and my husband went to the CVS to talk to the pharmacist about cancelling the order. A pharmacy staff member told us that the pharmacist was busy and to wait. While waiting, the Police Arrived!
The pharmacist called the police behind the counter and told them that she believed that the customer was attempting to call the prescriptions in. The police came to me and my husband and said that they were called because we were attempting to forge a prescription!!?? I've never been so humiliated! To make matters worse, the Dr.'s office was closed. We couldn't verify at that moment that the Dr.'s office and prescription were both legitimate. The police talked with us further and we were able to vocalize that no one had spoken to us and we wanted to cancel the order to get the correct order elsewhere.
The police went back behind the counter to talk to the pharmacist. I overheard the pharmacist say that I'm a pharmacy tech that works at a pharmacy and she feels that I know how to call in prescriptions. The police made a report. Tomorrow morning I will be at my Dr.'s office and will have them verify to the police that I do have a prescription and then I'm calling a lawyer! Know a good one? P.S. It's day two without my medicine!

They tell you a medication will be refilled by a certain time and it’s a day or two late, or recently that they have run out of the medication, but they don’t call to tell you, you have to call them and ask what’s up.
Today I called to complain and ask to have my prescription transferred to a competing pharmacy. They never apologized, or asked if they could do anything to keep me as a long time customer. The pharmacist seemed totally indifferent. I suggest customers bail out now. Aetna refused to honor my doctor’s prescriptions unless I got them filled at a CVS store. I was livid but had no choice but to transfer. I never had any issues with my community pharmacy. They always delivered on-time, there weren’t any issues with pricing, and they were responsive if I needed to contact them for any reason. Transferring my prescriptions was a headache. It seemed like no one at either CVS or Aetna would lift a finger to help me accomplish this task that I didn’t want to do in the first place. Among the issues was delivery.
I called and spoke to customer service at CVS six times before I gave up and resigned myself to going into the store to pick up my prescriptions. CVS also charged me more than the local pharmacy had. When I changed primary care physicians, the Minute Clinic at CVS charged me an exorbitant dollar figure for a month’s supply of medication when I ran out but hadn’t yet seen my new doctor. Now that I no longer have Aetna healthcare and I am not forced to do business with CVS, I transferred my prescriptions back to my local community pharmacy.
While I was between insurance providers, CVS wanted to charge me $2,000 for a medication for which I had already given them a copay coupon that covered 100% of the cost of that medication for a year. The year hadn’t run out yet, but since I no longer had Aetna insurance, they would not honor the coupon as they had before. I got a new copay coupon that my community pharmacy honored without any issue.
CVS is a horrible company that doesn’t care about their customers, their employees, or the communities they price gouge while they expand their empire putting better run businesses out of business. While I still have the freedom to choose my own pharmacy, I will never again use CVS. I remain fearful that one day I will once again be required to shop there, forced into supporting their incompetent, insufficient and inhumane company.

Amazing what one is willing to put up with and still remain loyal!? That ended yesterday when after 2 weeks, we called to find out why a prescription for diabetes had not been filled. We were told that a 4 week supply would cost (with Medicare and Humana Advantage plus) $6870.00. Therefore they did not fill it. No communication whatsoever from CVS in the interim.
After calling our insurance and the manufacturer we were able to determine that the cost is $49.00. CVS spokesperson argued that perhaps that was the price yesterday however has dropped to $49.00 today. And by the way they don’t have this medication and may actually not be able to get it until sometime in January. NO Apologies! No help, no nothing! They told me that they weren't sure they could get me the drug before mine ran out, and the co-pay would be $428, almost three times what the hospital pharm charged. At that point, I transferred my script back to the hospital pharm, and fully intend to reduce my dependence on CVS.

I am always having a problem getting my son's prescription refilled. They have even shorted him on pills. Recently a refill for AD medication was sent from CHOP to CVS for my son. I am always told by his doc to put the refill in 2-3 days before he runs out. Which I have done and there still seems to always be a problem with CVS In Drexel Hill getting this prescription filled on time. This particular incident started with me calling in the prescription on 11/12 via his doc who in turn sends it over to the CVS. I can always see online when this gets done via access to my CHOP. It usually takes 48 hours so when I called on 11/14 I was baffled when told “there is nothing on file”. I confirmed with the doc office that it had been sent.
When my husband contacted CVS that evening the system informed him it was being worked in and would be ready the next day. The next evening after not receiving any text alerts my went to the CVS and stood in line for 30 minutes only to be told “we can not fill this. It is back ordered and we will not know when we will get it therefore you will have to contact your doctor to get it filled elsewhere.” My son is totally out of medication at this point. I understand that there is some sort of shortage but to not communicate to a customer who has a continual prescriptions with your location is terrible customer service. Me and my husband are signed up to receive text alerts which receive concerning other medications so why not this one? Especially if you are out if it!!! That was the least they could do. We could have gotten the prescription taken care of elsewhere instead having the system telling us it was being worked on.

After going into the pharmacy and speaking with an associate she told me they would get around to it either later on that night or early the next day. I called early in the morning the next day. The representative told me it would be ready in an hour. A few hours later I go to pick it up and they don't have my insurance information in the system. Then the person taking the insurance is asking me a million questions as if I've never been to that CVS before. After her questioning me for 20 minutes she then tells me I have to come back because they're going to lunch. I asked to speak to a manager and the manager was very nasty and told me I had to come back in a 1/2 an hour when their lunch was over. Every time I come to this pharmacy there was an issue.

If you try to call CVS Pharmacy often you will be put on hold for 10 minutes or longer till you give up. When visiting the store, it is obvious with phones ringing, people waiting at the drive in and packed people at the counter that Corporate only cares about squeezing every nickel from their customers and workers. The store I use most often in Clayton Ga. is shabby with crowded shelves and a virus friendly pharmacy counter where people are forced too close for safety. The parking lot hasn't seen painted lines in years so everybody parks haphazardly. Honestly if I wasn't forced by Aetna to use CVS I would never darken their doors ever again.

Please, I am begging you, if you get ANY controlled prescription USE A DIFFERENT pharmacy other than CVS. I moved here from a neighboring county and transferred my prescriptions to the store near my college. I am on four meds, two noncontrolled, two are controlled (mental health). I have been on these meds for close to six years now. SIX YEARS!
My doctors are locally here in the city, these same doctors have been treating me for over SIX YEARS. My first prescriptions I had filled went kinda weird. The pharmacist questioned (or rather demanded) why the combo of the two mental health prescriptions together. I told them that I've tried numerous combinations of drugs and this particular combo is the one that works and I've been on them for years. I mentioned that the one for ADHD probably works best because I have a vitamin deficiency and stomach problems and the second one I only use because I can't sleep (from the ADHD meds). I got a snarky look and a "be careful" from the pharmacist before they walked away.
Second refill...not so well. They couldn't refill either of my mental health drugs because 'they had to be ordered'. It's like, really? My other pharmacy (local pharmacy) never made me go past the day it was refill date. So this pharmacy DOESN'T order the medication until the DAY IT'S DUE?? I get that it's a name-brand medication (not generic), but don't you see this is a mental health issue? I literally cannot function without this medication.
Why wouldn't CVS have a better system to see that they will need XYZ prescription in store within the next few days? How dumb is that? Also, I was not able to do a refill online (or through the app) for these controlled meds. I had to call to get it refilled...on the due date? LOL, what a joke. Does ANYONE in pharmacy pick up the phone before 20 minutes has gone by? Needleless to say, I had to go about a week WITHOUT one of the two (three days for the other) controlled meds. THIRD time refill, this will be my LAST time refill. I don't want to go into details but they really caused a lot of problems for me, because I had to go so long without these medications and I am in a Masters program so it wasn't fun.
I spoke to some local mates who have the same mental health problems as I do and not a one of them will use CVS pharmacy (and there are like 6 or so in the area) so perhaps they are all awful? I do know they are getting sued (pertaining to the ** problem), but I'm not on a **. I need these meds because my brain doesn't work right. If some of these pharmacists would read up on the CURRENT science behind add/ADHD they would see how far meds and psychiatry has come since the days of doctors giving rambunctious youngsters ** or **. People don't outgrow ADHD like doctors once thought, chances are I will most likely be on some TYPE of med for it for the rest of my life. I wish it was possible to give this company negative stars because I would. Rant over.

Over the last 14 years, my wonderful rhemy has prescribed many types of immuno suppressant drugs- infusions at office and scripts for injections at home. Scripts for effective injections always sent to CVS spec. I then order online to receive in cooler at doorstep each month or so. IMPERATIVE TO KEEP ON TRACK WITH INJECTIONS. I've had problem after problem with cvs sp sending my $6k/mon med. NOT INSURANCE ISSUE. NOT DR ISSUE. ALWAYS CVS ISSUE. Most recently, dr switched me to better med called **. After 2 mos, he doubled my dose. He sends scripts to my med man team, who meets with me, gets insurance to clear script, then sends script to cvs sp.
They sent the approved script to cvs sp SEPT 20,2022. It is now Oct 2,2022 and I DO NOT HAVE MY MED. For this particular case, I have tried to PREVENT probs by logging in to CHAT, MULTIPLE TIMES, with cvs reps. I wanted to ensure receiving med on time (latest date to receive meds in order to keep on track was 9/28/22). Online chat reps told me I could fill my script/all is well and on track. But they were wrong! They REPEATEDLY IGNORED my response explaining that the script available for me to fill online is only 150mg, NOT the increased dose of 300MG. (It is obvious whomever answers these chat messages FAIL TO READ PRIOR MESSAGES IN THE CHAT).
I have also had the MED MAN TEAM CALL CVS on my behalf in this case. CVS sp told them all was well with my new 300 script. But, online still would NOT allow me to order 300- only one 150 syringe. So, I CALLED CVS MYSELF. Nice woman answered and explained there was a disconnect between CVS who did receive my new 300 script and the online dept of CVS sp. ONLINE DEPT was never sent the update. She reassured me she would expedite my meds, which were now late. I would receive my 300 shot on 9/30/22. But, I it never came.
I got online, and found yet ANOTHER MESSAGE THAT CONTRADICTS previous messages sent by cvs team member. After med man and I both called CVS on 9/28, a cvs rep sent me an online message stating: "We see that you called CVS sp today. Your new script is on the way. Is there anything else we can help you with?" I had answered that I wanted to ensure my 300mg shot would arrive at my home by 9/30. The NEXT MESSAGE from CVS said that they could not fill my script bc they never received it.
WHAT IS WRONG WITH THIS COMPANY? Communication, procedures, policies, training, work ethic, and possibly even EMPATHY are some of the main issues here! But, I have nowhere to go to get my meds. So, I lost my mind responding yet ANOTHER CONTRADICTORY MESSAGE from CVS sp. Do they not realize that I am UNABLE TO FUNCTION/WALK/WORK wo my shot?! I am an elementary teacher. I cannot get a sub, and I don't want to either. I love my work and, unlike many CVS team members, have an excellent work ethic. Unlike them, I am committed to my decision to serve my community/the public. My vocation is to teach young children, especially those with learning disorders and that struggle learning to read. I take my responsibility very seriously. I MUST BE ABLE TO DO MY WORK.
I am also a mother, and a wife, and a friend. I CANNOT FULFILL MY OBLIGATIONS to the people I love without my meds. I cannot walk without my meds. I am in terrible pain, cannot sleep, cannot move normally, need assistance with daily activities, require help from coworkers and even my own first grade students. Throw me a friggin bone! Do your damn job and get me my meds---on time would be great! Insurance is paying CVS sp $6k per month to do this. And they suck at it.
This is just one example of many, many other times I have had to beg, fight, etc, etc, in order to receive my medication. It's a joke and I'm pissed. Try to find a different specialty pharmacy for your medication. If you find a good one, please email me at: I would also be happy to continue my fight against companies like CVS sp that screw up people's lives through their idiotic procedures and leadership. I will do anything I can to help others who are disabled and depend on their medication to live and function AS NORMALLY AS POSSIBLE.

How dare they treat me that way!!! I'm disabled and a Army Veteran. Several times today the CVS Pharmacy spoke to me like I was a 3rd world ingrate. Shame on the mess!!! After making many failed phone attempts yesterday to reach CVS and it's app, I conceded. At 0800 today 092622, I called CVS to express that their CVS app was not user friendly. I was immediately told by a very ignorant, abruptly woman that they just opened. Afterward, I was rudely whisked away, and banished to the CVS app they I had already explained was not working properly for my medical needs. Reluctant, I went onto the app yet again for another 90 minutes only to find that again it wasn't working properly.
When I called back to the pharmacy I was greeting w great hostility and cynicism by the staff! They rudely left me on hold many times...so many times that I almost forgot why I was calling them. I am a God loving American!!! How dare CVS treat me in that type of inhumane manner? What made them feel that they had the "golden gonads" to do this to me even after speaking w their "supervisor"??? Prior to the betrayal, I had left such high accolades for the exemplary service I received on my 1st CVS medical delivery. The first time I spoke w the CVS staff they were professional, kind, and seemed eager to accommodate me. I thought to myself, "wow! Have I ventured into heaven here?" I simply asked about my meds and asked for my name and phone number... Immediately the CVS staffer said, "Yes, you are in our system." Then they asked me if I'd be picking them up the meds, and I asked if they would be nice enough to deliver to me. In short, they said sure and that they could sent it prompt delivery!
The delivery was sensational! Many years ago, I was a Domino's Pizza Manager so I knew all about excellent delivery service. However, the staff at the "weird" CVS exclaimed that none of that remarkable experience happened. I felt perplexed as 'hell below' while thinking this must be a different CVS. Though I knew which store it was because it was on my prescriptions, I still checked again it w family looking too. So when I continued on w the "service call from hell", I again insisted that I was correct in what I originally said. Again the staff have me grief about it again, and that none of it happened. I asked if they were calling me a Liar??? They persisted...
Later, I did whatever they wanted me to do for fear that they would waste more of my precious time. They insisted that I couldn't get my free delivery as I did before. I had to succumb to CVS charges they create for me, unlike what happened to me previously. I was forced to pay their random! Lastly, I never got my delivery from them. If there was any way whatsoever to avoid using them, I would in a heartbeat, even if it cost me more money.
CMS (Medicare) should investigate their their practices and ban them from participating in any governmental programs. CVS Specialty Pharmacy really really needs to overhaul their processes and make the ordering and getting prescription medication without all the hassle and runaround. It creates a high degree of stress and ill will toward the company. These are needed medications that people depend on for their well being. I've filled my prescription with CVS, 14th Street, Hoboken, NJ for the past 10 years and have had really no issue until recently. I've taken the same once a day tablet for approximately 4 years and have never had to pay a copay. The tablet over the last year & half or so has been prescribed in 3 month supplies. When I recently went to pick up the next 3 month supply, the CVS Pharmacy handed me the order, as per usual, and went on to quote me a copay of...$1200.00!!!! From thereon in, I had several phone conversations with CVS, the Insurance Company, the Insurance Company's Pharmacy Benefit's personnel and the Pharmaceutical Company's Prescription Loyalty Co-Pay Card personnel. Not one of those entities could state why I had never ever had such an outrageous co-pay over the course of all 4 years...until now.
My most recent conversation was on Thursday, August 25, 2022, with the Insurance Company's Pharmacy Benefit personnel, who in turn conferenced in CVS-14th Street, Hoboken, NJ and then she disappeared from the call and handed me off to CVS. On this call, the CVS pharmacy personnel said that she'd call the Insurance Company and then call me back. When she did call back in 5 to 10 minutes, she did not tell me anything that I did not already know. I asked during this call yet again, "How is it I have never paid a co-pay, no less an outrageous co-pay of $1200.00, during the past 4 years?" The CVS-Pharmacy person stammered and she merely parroted the information that I already knew without answering my questions and to which I responded that "make no mistake I will be escalating this and all parties including CVS will be implicated."
She outrageously and mockingly said, 'Go ahead and get a lawyer or something to the effect you can get a lawyer.' Then she stated, almost violating HIPPA laws, that 'We have others who pay as high Co-pays.' What others pay is not to be imparted to me, and had she gone further, her assertions could have been violative of HIPPA privacy regulations. I then said to her that "you're acting as if I am complaining about the cost of a pack of gum." She again was non-empathic, outrageously mocking in tone and reiterated in effect that I can just sue them. Her behavior was outrageous in all respects and she should not be permitted to interact with consumers.

They confirmed they were not expired.. But confirmed they had to "order one of them" since not in stock and would have it in no later than that Wednesday. Mind you the two prescriptions were on the same date to be filled. They allowed me to pick on one but not the other? Their Reason #1 The script was "expired" I said when I called you did you not confirm with me that it was not? And If they were expired why are you giving me the other one?
Reason then #2 "Well then you took too long to pick it up." CVS sends out text messaged to remind you of prescriptions and how long you have to pick up. I still had "weeks" to pick up (within 30 days). I was not even on a full week yet of not picking them up. Called their 1800 number and they had the district manager call me. She too was confused by it and told me that she would look into it.. Only to have the pharmacy call me to fight with me again on how it was not their fault and that I waited too long. Pharmacist also confirmed on phone said that the prescriptions are good for 90 days for certain ones per law and that I had it written on April 22nd.
So on July 19th when I went to PICK up the medicine and was told "no for the one" it still would have not been expired! Another lie. They waited until today July 23rd to have the actual pharmacist look into the situation and said oh well they are expired. This is not the first time this keeps happening at the same CVS location here in Louisiana. As they also go through many pharmacist I am wondering if we have some .. This month I was informed that my prescription was not going to be filled because the pharmacist had concerns. I provided background to the pharmacist even explaining my doctor could provide additional information. And I don't understand how you filled it last month with no issues now this month it's a problem. I then asked so even though you can call my doctor and get additional information you pretty much are not going to fill my prescription because you have that right. She said yes - I hung up in disbelief.

I’m very grateful with Leanna the pharmacist in charge who understood my situation and helped me out right away, thank so for being so caring and professional.

I have been a CVS customer for over 35 years. I used the CVS in Yorktown and Mohegan Lake until 2021 when my husband and I moved to Somers. There is no comparison- the Somers CVS has the worst customer service and pharmacy. Since Jan. 2022 on 4 separate occasions, the pharmacy has told me that my prescriptions were not called in by my doctor. I then have to call my doctor, who takes a screenshot of the computer to show me that CVS has received the script. Well yesterday the same thing happened. My Doctor called in a script for **. I have Covid and am very sick. After 5 hours, the pharmacy- after waiting on hold for 51 minutes tells me my doctor never called it in. I said I confirmed it, the male tech said I was wrong. I said I never had these issues in Yorktown CVS. He then said “well then maybe you should go there.” I firmly said “are you kidding me?” He then said if I raised my voice he would hang up on me. I said, "Don’t hang up. I need medicine," and he hung up.
I called my doctor. This time, MY doctor called the CVS pharmacy himself and spoke to the pharmacist himself. After my doctor insisted that the female pharmacist “scroll down and look because it was called in 5 hours prior." She did find it, so it was in fact called in. The pharmacist from the prior shift said she couldn’t find me in the system (I have been in the system for over 35 years with the same insurance and three days prior picked up scripts and 8 Covid test kits- there was no question about me being in the system) so she just left it.
My doctor was very angry that my script was just left ”hanging”. I was very sick and in need of the medication. He asked for the prior pharmacist name, but the female pharmacist working at 6:45 pm would not give it to him. He explained that he worked for FEMA and would report the whole CVS Pharmacy or, she (the pharmacist working and on the phone with my doctor) could give him her first name and he would just report her. She gave my doctor the name of the pharmacist who wrongly said I was not in the system and just left my script up filled with no directions to follow up.
As I stated above, this is the 4 x since Jan. 2022 that I have been told “my doctor never called it in.” Each time prior, it took several days reaching the doctor to resubmit and for CVS to fill script. But this time, I am very sick and could not wait several days of back and forth with CVS. My doctor has written up the store to the State of NY. I was lucky my doctor was still in his office to make the call to CVS - but not everyone is that lucky all the time.

However I was charged $3.07 in taxes. I sent email to CVS customer service and received no response. I called the agent twice. The first agent refused to talk to me. The second agent kept me on the line for a long time and instead of adjusting the taxes she stated she needed to do research. I asked to talk to a manager but she stated the manager was not available. The difference is only $1.73 but now I am concerned about making purchases at CVS because less than a month ago CVS also overcharged me with taxes. That time they did correct the charge. This time they ignore my calls and emails.

They refused to give me the name of the area manager. I called corporate. They promised that the area manager would call me in 2 days. My family and I are guessing that CVS neither wants or needs our business based on our experience today! My daughter desperately needed her prescriptions called into the pharmacy this morning by her doctor. I tried getting thru to the pharmacy 5 times to inquire whether the prescriptions were ready to pick up. I spent 30 minutes or more trying to get thru and nobody would answer the phone. I drove over there to find out that there were 5 pharmacy people putting away medications on the shelves. There are at least 3 phone lines in the pharmacy and it would have taken all of 2 minutes to check and see if the prescriptions were ready. The pharmacist did not take my concern seriously and even laughed in my face and then hung up on me in the drive-thru. My family and I have been loyal customers at this CVS since it opened. There is a Walgreens next door and our money is as green as everyone else's. CVS stands for Customer Value Severed!

This has happened to me before with another prescription. It’s frustrating when they keep telling me it’s going to be ready and they say they have nothing on the file. CVS what a joke for upper management. I scheduled an appointment online to take a covid 19 test at 6401 Precinct Line Road in Hurst, Tx. I am a VA which they take, I took the test and then was told to wait for the nurse to give me my results. I waited about 5 minutes and she took me to the back and started asking me a lot of question and took my blood pressure and it did not seem right. She ask me to wait and she printed out my bill and they charged me for a assessment charges $99.00 and another $120.00 for the covid test. The covid test I agreed to but not the assessment. The nurse stated that it was a requirement when taking the covid test by the VA. So I called the VA and they stated that was not true.
I disputed the charges and they has some manager call me and she was a joke. How did she get that job. They only care about how much money they can get from you, since the government is not paying for the covid test anymore. The manager stated that it is their new policy now as of April that all covid test requires this assessment for $99.00. But... this dumpster fire of a company will only allow 10 mg/day for the mail-order program. Also, it gives me a list of 6 other medications "that I can try". Listen, I've been on every med imaginable. Since when did a this joke of a company get authority of my health needs? B Makes zero sense. Fluoxetine is the oldest and cheapest SSRI. Recently I tried to get my Proair HFA inhalers from my local CVS Pharm. on N. Halleck St. Demotte, IN (been getting them there for about 10 yrs). The pharmacist told me that my part D plan would not pay for my 6 inhalers (90 day supply) only 5. I have had the same script for 10 years and have been using the same pharm. What the pharm wanted to do was fill 5 inhalers and charge me for 90 day supply. I wouldn't agree --- I called my part D plan and found out the pharmacist was lying. While I was calling my part d plan the pharmacist called my Dr's. office & told them my plan wouldn't pay for 6 inhalers for a 90 day supply only 5 so my dr. not knowing he was being lied to changed the script to 5.
So I called my part d plan back and they insisted they paid for 6 for a 90 day supply no problem. BUT they informed me the pharm. never tried to put the script thru the system -- so my part D plan called the CVS pharm on a three-way to tell them how to put the script thru so they would see it would be covered & the pharm says I got the script changed to 5. So once again I wouldn't agree --- the pharm manager ** got mad and hung up on us. Then I had to call my dr. office to tell them I was not agreeing to the CVS scam of give you 5 charge you for 6 and call it a 90-day supply (5 won't last 90 days). So my dr. changed the script back to 6.
I have had poor service here before -- long waits, childproof caps when it's in the system, NO childproof caps or stock bottles with the label hanging off (because most stock bottles are childproof). The next day I complained to the store manager he went to the pharmacy and came back with the wrong script for 5 not 6. I said that's wrong. He said the pharmacist said that's the only script she has --- another BOLD FACED LIE. So I went back home and called back the dr. and found that they had sent the script for 6 numerous times. So I waited and went back the next day to talk to the store manager -- and he informed me the pharmacist was refusing to fill ANY of my scripts --how nice !!! If you cant get your way shaft the long time customer.
I complained to CVS corporate and never got a response. The store manager knows me because I've been shopping there 20 years. He said he's very sorry but he couldn't make the pharmacist fill my scripts because the store is managed separate from the pharmacy (they each have their own manager). My part D plan got fed up trying to fix this mess and told me fax the script to us we'll fill it. Then when I got it it was filled by CVS Caremark mail service 6 inhalers for a 90 day supply --- filled by the same company??? AETNA/ CVS Caremark/CVS. It's all the same company!!! Since it got filled that proves the pharmacist was lying all along -- I just wonder If I agreed to this scam who would have got the money???

So I moved all of my prescriptions to CVS and asked that they be automatically be refilled. On 5 different occasions I was down to my last couple of pills and called to inquire and was told that my prescription was at a different store. I asked for them to be moved to my primary location, only for it to happen again. Today I noticed that I was down to my last several pills and didn't get notification. I called the store and the automated system hung up me twice before I could speak to someone. On the third call I was talking to the person and their system hung on me again. I waited hoping they would call me back and they didn't. On my fourth call after inquiring I was told that they were out of the medicine, so I asked what am I to do. I was told that I could call several other stores to see if they had it in inventory.
Frustrated I asked, "Are you telling me to call around," then he said he could try for me after the challenge. So he told me that I could call them and they could transfer my pickup at the other store for this refill. I asked, "Would they transfer it back?" He said no. That it was my responsibility to call them to have it transferred back to their store. This so frustrating. So by all means if you are looking for a pharmacy do NOT use them, they make you work to keep up with everything and you have to call them. I wish I could go back to using Kroger's.

I was told to wait at least another 15 minutes.
I immediately asked for the store manager (**); at that point, the other 2 registers were staffed with 2 employees who amongst the group sorting through mounds of prescription. The line started to move. When I spoke with **, I expressed my concerns, he graciously answered/responded to the issues that I pointed out. He informed me that he had 8 employees out due to Covid and I commented - well, the risks increases when so many people are grouped into a small area. I won’t be returning to CVS 14220 Schleisman Rd, Eastvale, CA 92880. There are too many pharmacy choices in the area that’ll make me feel that I’m served better and won’t take my business for granted. Don’t waste your time going to CVS!

My wife and I, we are 75, could have received a call from the pharmacist that our diabetic medication is finally ready and, having had a good previous experience, I asked the pharmacist by name about every medication if there would be any problems and time if it was better to pick up the order. The next day we were told to come up for 15 minutes and we received part of the order, then we were expecting one more medication. As a result, we were forced to wait for more than two hours and everything was supported by abuse and outright groaning on the part of the staff, especially from supervisor Tina.
At home, we found out that touch lancets alone are not compatible and we are forced to return the next day. I repeat again, everything went through in a mocking manner. I have to called customer relation twice and asked for help, they promised someone woold call back 24-48 hrs., but no one called. Asked my doctor redirect the prescription to Walgreens, and today my wife received medication. Better to stay away from CVS.

They do not answer their phone. People aren't calling the pharmacy to chit chat - we are generally calling to get or give info about life saving or life altering medications. They either leave you on hold for up to an hour and a half before answering or hanging up on you or - they just hang up on you. Unsat! The CVS insurance company and pharmacy monopoly needs to be broken up. Unbelievable.

Worst CVS in Wauwatosa. Ordered my prescriptions online, paid for online, get to the pharmacy the drive-thru is closed. Call the pharmacy and said they were short-handed and could not Give me my paid prescriptions through the drive-thru that I had to come in and pick up my drugs. I stated that I am a high risk for covid. That's why I use CVS drive-thru. She said she couldn't help me and was very rude. Did not offer to send them through the mail. Tried calling back line was always busy or when I got through got disconnected. For being a premium pharmacy I think their customer service skills suck

Absolutely the most incompetent, rude, lazy, and undertrained staff literally anywhere. This CVS incorrectly filed my prescription with an old insurance that I did not even have in 2019 by searching my name through some database only they use instead of running my correct insurance. It took numerous phone calls and 3 days of hassle back then to straighten it out. Went to Urgent Care tonight and was diagnosed with untreated Strep that has spread through my system causing secondary infection and rash.
They sent 4 prescriptions to this CVS to try to get them filled tonight because of how much it is spreading and what do they do but repeat the exact same error from 2 years ago and lock up my insurance again. When I advised the pharmacist that they did this before and nowhere else has any issues the male "pharmacist", who very unprofessionally looked like a lumberjack who just got out of bed, got an attitude with me stating, "we'll see" when I asked him to send it to Walmart. Every single person in the pharmacy here needs to be fired. Also, why does only this CVS have some system that pulls up insurance you don't even have??

Booked Covid booster appointment some time in advance. Got to the store early as requested only to be greeting by a sign saying they were out until 13:30, then, after a 20 minute wait, was told no vaccines were available until Friday. Staff were deliberately unhelpful and evasive. This is not the only CVS Pharmacy where I have received negligible, incorrect or timewasting interactions so assume it must have endemic management and organizational problems.

I had my son's pediatrician call in his medication refill on 12/23/31 and received a text from CVS stating that my son's prescription could not be filled until 12/26/21 due to state law. I called CVS on 12/26/21 and asked that my son's prescription be filled. I explained it has been put on hold and asked if it could be filled. CVS ran it through their system, and told me I could pick it up in an hour. When I arrived 2 hours later to pick it up, I was told it could not be filled until 12/27/21 due to state law and that I "should have received a call or text." I received ZERO communication and wasted an hour of my time. This is the THIRD time this has happened. I am considering changing pharmacy companies due to your incompetence and obvious lack of care for your customers. This is unacceptable! I shouldn't have to worry about whether or not my son can get the medicine he needs.

Stay far away from Green Dot and CVS Pharmacy. They are both in cahoots together. Been waiting since October 29th. No resolution so far and no one seems to give a ** to lift a finger to help me get my money back. I handed the cashier $1,000 to place on two different cards and they did not land up in my cards. They wound up giving me a receipt to two different cards that didn't even match my cards when I open up the package when I got home and I'm sitting with the receipt and I'm explaining this to them and nobody wants to help me. Pathetic. What good is a receipt.

Made me wait 30 minutes as he helped others. Was finally able to get two pills I had to pay for until they can straighten out their mistake. This was not the right way to treat a lifelong customer.

Scheduled an appointment for the Covid Vaccine, got there early, 20 minutes later the pharmacist calls me into a dimly lit room with nearly 1.5 cc's of something in a 3 cc syringe. Of course I declined and asked to watch him draw up the appropriate amount from a new vial as this was obviously not acceptable. He declined so I left without getting the vaccine.

I texted twice and apparently got people to respond, but no help. They simply said "sorry for inconvenience." Terrible service. I checked and no other CVS within 20 miles of me had open appointments today. I went down street to Piedmont UrgentCare and was seen right away. CVS has lost my business permanently.

Picked up a script just this afternoon for my husband (he usually gets it). He told me it should be no more than $250 - get there & she rings up $286. I tell her that can't be right. She insists it is. So I take it home. Husband says, no, right here (on phone) it should be $255. So he jumps in the car & goes over (within the hour of my purchasing it) & they tell him the cannot give him an adjustment & that they told me that. They DID NOT tell me that. If they had, I would have not gotten it & sent my husband over to pick it up. So, because of this *** WE ARE TRANSFERRING ALL OF OUR SCRIPTS TO ANOTHER PHARMACY CHAIN! *** This overcharge and inability to refund the overage has cost them our business. And we will tell others about this incident.

On Monday, November 8, 2021, I went to the CVS on 61-15 Metropolitan Avenue in Queens, NY 11385 to get a PCR test required by the hospital three days before I was going to get a Colonoscopy and Endoscopy on Friday, November 12. To begin with no one in the pharmacy was able to tell me where this test was to be done or they couldn't be bothered ... It was a customer who heard me asking and told me I'd have to go through the drive-thru. Fine. I exited the building and drove to the drive-thru. I had to honk my horn to get someone's attention. Well, see-administered the test as directed by the person at the window and was told the results would be available in 2 days or by Wednesday, November 10. I didn't have a result by Nov. 10 or Thursday, Nov. 11 midday. I am now getting very stressed because these procedures has already been postponed previously due to a similar situation.
After midday, I called CVS and the person answering the phone checked and told me the results had not come in. Now, I'm a 76 year old woman and computers are not my forte; however, I decided to wait an hour or so. I decided to check the paperwork CVS handed me and saw the labs was Quest. I called an 800 Quest number. I had to wait at least 1/2 hour to get a human. I was told they couldn't give out this information on the phone unless I could somehow provide some verification which I did by telling the whole story about my procedures were dependent on the PCR results and that I had the test done at CVS a 61 15 Metropolitan Avenue. This was sufficient for the Quest rep to send the results to my email address I provided to her. The Quest rep told me CVS did not include neither my address nor my phone number with the sample and that's the reason why I had not received the results!
The results of these procedures are to go to my Cardiologist and Vascular Surgeon so they can figure out what's wrong with severe chest pains I've been experiencing of months. The inefficiency of CVS at this particular Metropolitan Avenue thankfully did not negatively affect my health but it very well could've if subsequent medical treatment had been delayed because I couldn't get results due to CVS employee lack of follow-through on a process. I wouldn't recommend this particular Minute Clinic or Pharmacy at this location. I would've given it a minus STAR rating but that wasn't an option!!

I was sitting at the waiting area for half an hour and everyone who came after me has gone and they didn't call me until I stood up and complained. I will never go back there for any services. I start moving my prescription to other pharmacy. They won't have business from my family anymore.
