I don't think I've ever been so irate at a company's lack of customer service as I was today. I went to pick up three prescriptions shortly before 1:30 (they break for lunch at 1:30). I mentioned multiple times I had THREE different transactions for THREE different people/pet. The tech still asked for each person's information which I thought weird if you have to do them separately but I had already told her....She collects them then scans them all. I once again said, okay but it's supposed to be three different transactions and she was like yeah, it's fine. I said but one is for a dog....they can't use my insurance. "Oh it's okay, we can still do one transaction". I said no, I said three. One is for me and to be put on MY FSA, the other for my sister on HER FSA and another for my dog on a debit card.

At this point another tech comes up and they say "oh, well we can't do that, we have to go to lunch, we go at 1:3" and it was, after this amount of time, 1:30. I said, I understand you need to go to lunch but I asked for three transactions, why can't you do that for me now? Then someone further behind pipes up and mumbles to which I said- what did you say? She looks at me briefly and starts walking away while saying "they have to go lunch and it would takes us 30 minutes to do that." I said, well I came before 1:30 and I repeatedly told her I need three transactions. She just ignored me and walked away as I asked for her name. Then when I asked the tech she seemed timid to do so but I'm not sure if the girl said she didn't care if I was told but the tech gave me the name. Then I just sit there waiting and the tech goes- Okay, well we'll be back in a few minutes and SHUT THE WINDOW AND BLINDS ON ME!!!

I immediately parked and went into the store and they all three came out for their lunch as I went to talk to a CVS associate. I was given the store manager, RX manager and corporate number but the associate seemed surprised when I mentioned this person who apparently is the PHARMACIST walked away. This pharmacy has had it's issues but never before have I been treated like this. I was REFUSED service simply because they had to go to lunch??? I was there BEFORE your lunch period and had the tech done as I told her over and over they could have left in time.

I've contacted corporate but who knows if anything will be done. I didn't get the tech's names but the pharmacist name is **. This is the 1123 Kildaire Farms Rd, Cary, NC, 27511 location. No one deserves this treatment but especially the attitude coming from a PHARMACIST? If her employees so badly needed to go on lunch the least she could have done was come fix my problem herself. Corporate wouldn't even send me same day delivery for this outrageous encounter. I've moved my medicines to another group and will no longer be using CVS. I've never been refused service!

Recently visited the CVS y mas at El Segundo and Avalon in Los Angeles CA, this staff Partida was the rudest, most ugly attitude, worst behavior and taunting ever experience I mean ever received at this store. He was mad because he had to come open the cough medicine cabinet that they have all locked up. I asked him about the sore throat and was like, "You rang the bell for that?? Look behind you." He was referring to the drops, not the actual medicine I rang about..

I had to press the bell again to get all my over items that's not my fault.. He was so mad he was giving such a horrible scary attitude.. He come so late like 10 minutes late other cashiers were looking at him. He came and was like, "What??" I was like OMG dush you don't like your job then go.. I need this medicine please.. Those 3 on top he was like which I pointed and then I decided one more. He turned around all creepy. "You said 3 now it's 4." I was like oh hell no.. my mom was like, "Dude chill. We need this medicine. It's urgent.." He walked away.. My mom was like what the..

Anyway unfortunately I had to ring the damn bell again for other stuff and was even more mad I had my mom ask him because of was too much I had to walk away.. He was really really unprofessional, sure rude and beyond disrespectful. Very aggressive behavior for a so call customer service representative. I reached out to the manager. She was really busy as well.. I don't think anyone deserves this. Watch out. I spent over $100 and totally regret it.. I normally shop at the other W store.. I'm so disappointed and really shocked this person is working there.. I hope they talk to him.

Didn’t ask anything else. I said, "Do you have the other prescription," and so she was looking it up and she’s just telling me that there’s nothing there for him and I said, "Can you please try to look again," and she didn’t wanna look. She got upset with me because I said, "I don’t wanna argue with you about it. Can you please check it again?" She said, "Well you could leave my line. Each time I delete this message, because I wish to order things on my schedule, not yours. This is why your customers put you in the same category as the local drug pushers. Please give me an option to turn off the incessant messages. Barry

This CVS at Belle Terre Pkwy is the worst Pharmacy I've ever dealt with. The wait times are getting worse but what bothers me the most are the attitudes of some of the staff and how horrible they treat customers at times. I had an incident occur today with the Pharmacist working on staff, which was uncalled for. I do want to say that if you ever need pain medication filled at this Pharmacy they treat you and stereotype you as if you’re a Drug addict, no matter how much physical pain you suffer from, from severe spinal stenosis that people live with on a daily basis.

On Wednesday 10/8, I was advised by a Pharmacist at CVS to call the Pharmacist that is working on Thursday 10/9 to ask and to ensure that my medication would be filled because it was due to be filled that day. On Thursday, 10/9, I called the Pharmacy multiple times (6 times) along with 2 text messages through the CVS app and I still didn't receive any call back. When I placed mat last call later in the day one of the technicians answered the phone and I had asked to be transferred to the Pharmacist.

Before I could ask a question of the Pharmacist, his tone of voice was loud, rude and degrading, just loudly repeating the same thing saying, "that 28 days is regulation" over and over again, not letting me to get a word in and he didn't allow me to ask a question. I HAD TRIED to explain to him that today, 10/9, was 29 days and he just kept talking over me and being rudely yelled at and ignored. So at that time I became very angry and said some not nice words!! My call was then transferred to a technician and she was very nice and helpful. I had asked for Corporate contact number and the name of the Manager. Pharmacists take an Oath like all medical professionals live and work by and their Oath is to serve humanity and uphold ethical conduct, professionalism and respect the well-being of all Patients, legally and morally. This behavior was uncalled for! I actually feel nervous and intimidated to call your Pharmacy again.

The main source of my disgust for this pharmacy is the message system. That's what made me finally switch pharmacies. I put up with poor customer service for years because finding a new pharmacy seemed like it would be difficult. It actually isn't. I feel like finding a new pharmacy is literally safer. I have had situations where I needed to speak to a pharmacist immediately because I had questions about a medication. Answering medication questions is supposed to be the pharmacist's main purpose. Everything else can easily be done by the pharmacy techs. I have been one. Verifying prescriptions isn't hard. CVS has taken something critical that could easily require urgency and made it take an hour. That has got to be the dumbest thing I have ever seen in a medical business context.

How embarrassing. I am a senior citizen and don't deserve to be treated like that, asking everyone in the line what does the sign say then tried to make me get in another line after waiting 20 minutes already. I have leg and back issues. This is not how to treat customers.

My refill medication was sent in by the dr., and CVS let me know it was ready to pick up. After waiting in the drive-thru line for 30 mins, I get to the window, 10 mins later, a tech helps me. When she stated it would be $130+ for the refill, I let her know that there is a discount coupon/card on file. After another 10+ mins another woman comes to the window and informs me that whenever there is a coupon, I should call and verify, that it was going to be another 15 mins for them to rerun it and I had to come back. I pointed out that I had already been waiting over 45 mins, to which she rudely replied "Well thank you for your patience" then proceeds to tell her trainee (in front of me) "and that's how you respond to customers."

When I asked for her name, she stated, "Amanda, I'm the lead technician and you need to come back." No smile, no apology, just abrupt rudeness. I would like to point out this was a CVS error, not my error...I have been on this medication for over three months with coupon in file; also you cannot "call" CVS anymore, it just goes to voicemail and no one calls back. I have moved all of my stuff to Kroger, which btw, has AWESOME customer service!!! Look out for CVS Lead Pharmacy Technician Amanda...this woman is rude and unprofessional!!

I had a prescription that expired on September 28 2025 and I called in the prescription on the expiration date, CVS filled the prescription because I called in time but because I didn't pick it up in the day it expired. They put it back and said by law they have to because it's a controlled substance. I asked why they didn't text or call me to tell me I had to get it and her response was, "We can't call or text everyone." I know for a fact that if a prescription is going to be put away that I receive a text saying you only have so many days to pick it up or this is the last day you can pick it up so that was a lie..

I'm very disappointed and now I don't have my medicine. Being a customer there for as long as I have made me feel like I'm nothing. If I could have got there the 28th to pick it up I would have. Either way it was filled and put back, law or no law. I don't know the law. Maybe there should be something posted so customers know. To say they don't send reminder texts was really what got me. I always get them. Sometimes more than once. Very disappointed and I have reached out to my Dr's office which I feel was unnecessary because I had it filled on the expiration date.

About 3 hours later I returned to pick them up and was told that they didn't have one of the medications and neglected to fill the other. I then completed the online form to transfer to another pharmacy.

It has been 2 days and my regular pharmacy still has not received anything from CVS. I called CVS back and they said they transferred it today- but to the WRONG pharmacy!!! Instead of trying to help the tech said "well, it's already transferred so..." This place is awful- poor communication, and due to their incompetence I am completely out of antibiotics that I need. This pharmacy staff turned a simple request into about 10 phone calls today for me to get their error resolved myself- all while in extreme pain from a tooth extraction. Also brought another prescription Thursday, which wasn’t in stock! Ran to U Save It and they filled it in 10 mins.

I went to self-checkout around 1:30 p.m., and when my order froze and asked for help, the manager (a man in a green shirt, late 40s–50s) came over with a loud, rude, and dismissive attitude. Instead of offering assistance, he barked “remove it” without clarifying what he meant, with his hands on his hips, no courtesy, no “please,” no professionalism at all. I don’t mind following store policies—like indicating I brought my own bag—but the way it was handled was unnecessarily hostile. I left feeling disrespected and embarrassed. After years of shopping here, this experience was unacceptable, and I will no longer be giving this CVS my business.

Shelbyville Rd/Moser Rd pharmacy, Louisville KY. This location used to be the worst for service, but a neighbor told me she never had a problem and since it is walking distance, I decided to give it another try. I was very happy with the service until one day when someone was rude to me on the phone and as I had just found out it was not one of my insurance's "preferred" pharmacies, I decided to go elsewhere. Honestly I wouldn't have changed for one rude person, but I hadn't realized I was paying more than I had to for my meds.

When I filled my insulin at the new pharmacy, I found out CSV had been cheating me on my insulin. The Affordable Insulin Now Act made the top price of insulin $35. That would be 105 for a 3 month supply. What my doctor prescribed didn't work out to a full box for a 3 month supply, so I had to pay for 3 months worth, but only GET 2 1/2. I use 2 different insulins. This meant I was paying $35 MORE per month than the law allows. I'm retired and on a fixed income. The difference in price matters to me. The first time I refilled my prescription at another pharmacy, they split the box and gave me the number of pens I needed instead of a full box. When they told me at CVS that they were not allowed to split the box I assumed it was the law or the manufacturer's mandate, but no - it's CSV's way of getting those extra dollars from you. I'm wondering if it is even legal. Certainly isn't ethical.

The staff at the front desk, and the manager are horrible. My husband went to pick up an order that I did online and he gave them his name. They said there was nothing. He gave them my name. They said there was nothing to check with the pharmacy. He went to the pharmacy. The pharmacy didn't have anything so he came home. I was angry because I couldn't understand why he couldn't just pick up something that I got an email of saying it was ready. So I went there to talk to them, and I was upset with them and the staff and the manager lied on its face by saying that my husband never mentioned my name and therefore there was nothing under Pierre, but it was under Catherine. But I know my husband has picked up things for me before and he gives them both names.

So I came home and my husband said that he gave them both names so I said, "Come on. Let's go back there and let them see it and let them hear you." My husband went back with me and as I was going into the store because I was so angry and I'm very sick and I'm on medication that makes me a little dizzy. I fell all the way down and then my husband fell trying to get me up. There was a very nice gentleman who offered to help me and pick me up and called an ambulance, but I told him to go get the manager because it's because of him that this is happening right now. He came out. He didn't offer any help. He didn't offer to call the ambulance, to call 911 to help me in any way. The guy that was helping me even asked him just to help and he wouldn't. He said he's not allowed to the man got me up.

I went in the store and they called security and I made a report. But when I asked the manager for his manager's name because he lied and due to his lies, he caused this whole situation. He said he wouldn't give me the manager's name. When the security came, I wanted him meeting the security guard to hear that the manager would not give me the manager's name. So I called the manager over again and he said that he could not give me the manager's name and I said, "OK. I want another witness to hear you say that." At that point he gave me his manager's first name, but said he didn't know her last name which I find very hard to believe and when I asked him that he didn't even offer to help me in any way not even to offer to call 911 or ambulance, he lied again in front of everybody and said that he did offer to call the ambulance. I would like to make a formal complaint against this manager, and I would like him to be disciplined.

As I waited patiently while the pharmacist was talking to someone else who I had asked are you waiting to drop off She said no. Keep in mind I am the only one in the drop off line. When the pharmacist decided to wait on me, he asked am I dropping off or waiting. I asked how long that would be? He never asked what my prescription was. He just said in not a nice manner that it would be at least an hour, It was obvious to me, he did not want to help or want my business, I called another local pharmacy who was nice and ask me what my prescription was to be sure they had it and said it would only take 15 minutes. On July 18th, 2025, I ordered a prescription online for delivery. When I received the confirmation email, I noticed that the prescription was shipped to an address I had over seven years ago. This was strange because I have ordered from them many times in the past seven years and my order always came to the correct pharmacy.

I immediately called the pharmacy and was told I needed to call the post office myself and stop delivery myself. I asked if I could just pick up the prescription in the store. The answer was only if you want to pay full price for it. I then called Corporate office. I spent several hours on the phone with them. The end result was I could pick up my script in the store. They would do it as a refill, but I would not have to pay an additional co-pay. The pharmacy would call me back by 4 pm to pick up the script.

630 P.M., no phone call received. I called them. They continued to insist that they can not give me my prescription until the box that was mailed is sent back. It's my fault. I didn't correct the information. Nonsense! What if the person now living at that address chooses not to return the box. It's not my job to go after the package. It's yours.

1.1 average - surprised it's that high. CVS removed Zepbound from their approved list of medications. I rely on this drug to treat Severe Obstructive Sleep Apnea(OSA) when other treatments were not successful. OSA disrupts sleep quality, leading to daytime fatigue and drowsiness. If left untreated, your life span is reduced by 10-15 years due to higher metabolic disease, stroke and heart attack. My issue was drowsy driving- where I have a history of falling asleep at the wheel. Zepbound successfully treated this for safe driving.

CVS offered 4 alternatives to Zepbound - none of which are FDA approved to treat OSA. I appealed for an exception. They denied. I asked them to review the decision, They denied. My doctor said to give up on CVS. God forbid that I am involved in an auto accident where my life and that of others is at risk. This morning, I received a message that they were unable to contact my doctor. I messaged my doctor and they sent the info to the pharmacy. I called CVS, who verified receiving the info from my doctor. It wasn’t 15-minutes later that I got a text that it was too soon to fill the same medication!! I called again and the pharmacist blamed my doctor for sending in two prescriptions. I called AGAIN and she said she was filling it. Hours have passed, and it hasn’t been filled. CVS is not following the CDC's COVID-19 guidelines. On Monday, June 23, 2025, I attempted to make an appointment to receive a COVID-19 booster, but the scheduling software repeatedly canceled each appointment about 10 minutes after I selected and confirmed the day, time, and store. This was at a store in the Vero Beach, Florida, area. After several failed attempts, I called the store and spoke with a pharmacist. I was told that I could not get a shot because it had not been six months since my last shot. (My last shot had been in early March of 2025.)

I then paraphrased the following guidance from the CDC website: "After talking with a healthcare provider, people who are moderately or severely immunocompromised may get more doses (in addition to the ones described above) at least 2 months after their last dose of the 2024-2025 COVID-19 vaccine." I am 74 years old. I am taking both Methotrexate and Skyrizi for my psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis, and both these drugs--especially taken together--significantly suppress the immune system. In addition, I had quadruple bypass surgery 11 years ago. So I am tailor-made to fit the guidance articulated in the above quoted sentence from the CDC. (Further adding to my urgency is a cruise I plan to take in the next couple of weeks, during which I will literally be rubbing elbows with thousands of strangers from around the world.)

I asked the pharmacist why she isn't following the CDC guidelines, but she said she was. Then I asked if I brought in a physician's order, would I then be administered the vaccine. Of course, the CDC does not require someone in my situation to obtain a doctor's order to be given a COVID-19 booster. It only requires that I "talk with a healthcare provider." Again, this pharmacist was wrong. I subsequently did obtain a written doctor's order and presented it at the pharmacy, and I was consequently given the shot. Interestingly, the pharmacist said that I was the only person with an immunocompromised condition who had asked for the COVID-19 booster in less than 6-month intervals. That is very difficult to believe, considering all the old people I regularly see at that pharmacy.

In any event, the policy at CVS must change so as not to dissuade immunocompromised/suppressed people from getting COVID booster shots on a schedule that makes more sense for them and their condition. It must change to conform to the guidelines from the CDC. For people like us (immunocompromised people), COVID is especially lethal, and long COVID can be physically devastating. There should be no extra hurdles put in our way of getting the much-needed COVID-19 vaccine on a schedule that is consistent with our condition and CDC guidelines.

Review of Pharmacist Conduct – Unprofessional and Disrespectful Behavior Randleman Road, Greensboro NC #5593. As a licensed medical provider working with a nationwide medical clinic, I was deeply disappointed by the conduct of a pharmacist at this location. One of our patients returned to clinic after being refused her medication refill—despite presenting a printed prescription that was properly signed, included the physician's NPI number, and met all legal requirements. This method of issuing prescriptions is standard across hospitals and private practices nationwide, especially with the growing use of electronic medical record systems.

I contacted the pharmacy directly to clarify and ensure the patient received the care she needed. Unfortunately, the pharmacist I spoke with was not only uncooperative, but outright rude and arrogant. I answered all of his questions respectfully, yet he continued to challenge my legitimacy as a provider. Shockingly, he even asked if I was “acting like a paramedic.” For the record, I hold the appropriate medical degrees and have over 30 years of clinical experience.

His behavior was unprofessional, dismissive, and inappropriate. Despite confirming that the prescription was for a non-controlled medication, he refused to fill it, asked the same questions repeatedly, questioned my authority without cause, and ultimately ended the call by saying, “Let’s not waste any more time,” before hanging up on me.

This kind of behavior creates unnecessary barriers to care and disrespects both the provider and the patient. I was forced to redirect the prescription to a different pharmacy to ensure the patient received her medication without further delay. I have filed a formal complaint with the North Carolina Board of Pharmacy to ensure this incident is reviewed appropriately.

Addendum: I asked the pharmacist for his full name, and he gave me an incorrect name—most likely to avoid being reported to the pharmacy board. I called the pharmacy again and asked a technician to provide his full name and correct spelling, but she refused and said she would connect me back to him. I explained I did not wish to speak with him again. On a third attempt, I asked for the store manager. The staff member who answered was kind and went to get the manager, but the manager also refused to provide the pharmacist’s name, citing it as private information. This is incorrect. A pharmacist's name is public information—it appears on every prescription label and is listed on the state Board of Pharmacy website.

I proceeded to file a formal complaint for disciplinary action with the board due to this pharmacist’s unprofessional behavior and for obstructing a patient’s access to care. If all of you who have had a negative experience would contact the NC Board of Pharmacy, this nonsense might get addressed properly. There are numerous reviews here regarding the same issue with this particular pharmacist. The pharmacist's name is **. License #: **

I went inside the Centreville VA store to pick up my prescription, assuming the two prescriptions that were ready were the much needed inhaler and an antibiotic my doctor had faxed in an order to CVS the day before (my first mistake). I did not check the names of the prescriptions before paying for them due to my above assumption (My second mistake). I asked the pharmacist if I should continue taking the antibiotic that had been prescribed 4 days earlier for pneumonia, or stop that and just take the new one for asthmatic bronchitis, a complication that hit me on top of the pneumonia. She looked up my file and told me to just take the new antibiotic.

When I got home, I realized that the two prescriptions I had received were for the new antibiotic as well as the rest of the original antibiotic that they were short of when I originally needed them 4 days before! I had updated them on that situation 3 days ago, telling them to cancel that order of 4 pills because I wouldn't need them. The pharmacist apparently didn't notice that the pills she told me to stop taking were in the same order I was there picking up. And the much needed inhaler was not the bag of what I picked up!! So I still don't have that, and no one mentioned it or why it wasn't ready or when it would be ready. Even though it was part of the order with the new antibiotic.

I have had such bad service over the years from this pharmacy. One time I even asked one of the pharmacy assistants how best to respond - who to complain to, etc. His reply: "Go to a different pharmacy." He was right. That is exactly what I'm going to do. I have had issues in the past with the CVS Pharmacy at 511 N Main Street, Cedartown, GA 30125. In fact, I was pleased to LEAVE them when 2025 prescription insurance came out. However, CVS is the only pharmacy that I am able to pick up items in person and have these filled as 90 day supply. Costwise, 90 day supply is a much better deal than 30 day supply so I had to go back to CVS. Mind you, I live in Rockmart, GA and there isn't a CVS in this town.

For this review, I was trying to fill a prescription called Januvia for my husband. The cost of this medication for 90 days without a coupon from Januvia is $200.00. I called twice to get the prescription coupon entered where I could just have this shipped (Extra Care). The lady that answered the phone said I needed to bring the coupon in. Okay, I agreed to come to the store. Today at 1:56 PM EST I arrived knowing that the window was closed for a few more minutes. I was the only one in line waiting for the window to open at 2:00 PM EST.

At that exact time, the windows all opened and there I stood in line at the register, and I am the ONLY ONE there. 3 people began work. One went to the drive thru where she checked out two different vehicles. Me still standing in line. FINALLY, at 2:09 PM one of them spoke across the room asking for a date of birth. Not "Good Afternoon." Not "Hi, May I help you." The three words "date of birth" were spoken. "Oh, Me??" Gave date of birth. Advised why I was there. They took the coupon. He wasn't able to process it and asked another worker to try. She made this happen.

To both, I had advised that the prescription was filled and ready for pick up and that I needed the coupon put in the system and the prescription re-ran so that the discount/coupon would apply. She said "Okay, I have it on file. Will it be for the next refill or do you need it now?." I advised that the prescription was filled and needed to be re-ran. She said unpleasantly "It will be more than an hour to process this.". "WHAT??" I asked abruptly, "WHY with the prescription already filled and ready for pick up would I have to wait over an hour? You need to print out the new slip where you entered the coupon and it should come up $50.00 instead of $200.00." Took another 10 minutes to find the prescription and get this done. At 2:31 PM EST, they finally completed the check out at the register. This is unacceptable!

Next, let's talk about cleanliness of the store. It was descent in most of the store. The pharmacy area was dirty. It didn't look like it had been vacuumed in months with the amount of dust and Debris on the floor. I was never acknowledged when I walked into the store and NEVER saw anyone in any part of the store other than pharmacy. Who runs the front registers? Who pays attention to what is walked in and out of this store? This trip was just another disappointment I have had at this location. This is not a first for me. This is routinely how this store operates.

I have never seen worse sevice or worse attitude by a staff in a pharmacy than the one I met today at the CVS on Bartow pharmacy in Lakeland Florida. The three ladies were truly worse than devils as if they just ultimately decided not to give me my medication that I need urgently. I ordered the Medication from their application on my phone many days ago while it was on auto refill, but yet was not refilled. This is my primary Medication for diabetes and also I am a heart failure patient and lack of my medications can cause severe reactions that can be life-threatening.

They did not have it in stock, so they sent me a text that they ordered it but will take a few days. I completely ran out of it because of their lateness. I went to this pharmacy where I get all my meds, CVS on Bartow in Lakeland Florida, just to get enough pills to hold me as the late shipment comes in. They completely denied me the pills, knowing how important that medication is and how life-threatening it can be to not get it.

For an entire hour I watched them having the worst attitude and mocking me and wasting time not to serve me while they serve others because I insist to get my medication, shaking their heads at me and treating me as if I was a lunatic to ask to get my medications that they failed to get on time. One of them says she didn't like my attitude after shaking her head at me down talking to me as if I was a slave at her service, that just must go away because it's not convenient for them.

I spoke to the store manager and she also could not talk them into giving my medication. (FYI) There was an entire month's bottle that was in the pharmacist's hand and she refused to give it to me. I have never seen such negligence or bad attitude in any sort of business, let alone in a pharmacy with this kind of attitude dealing with people's medications that people depend on for dear life. I left and I still do not have my medication (Synjardy 1000). I take two tablets daily and of course, because of their negligence, now I do not have any medication and I know this will cause many medical issues because of it.

A pharmacy employee handled a simple call so poorly and with such hostility, I now feel unsafe to pick up my prescription. I explained what distress she was causing and her response was to laugh out loud at an individual who was in need of help. She then explained that they would hold my prescription and not release it to me, all because we were having a misunderstanding/miscommunication (I confused the name of the prescription). A simple prescription update has now turned into a situation that I feel compelled to prevent from happening to anyone else. You have an employee preying upon the sick and weak, and it is unacceptable.

I am hoping this can be rectified quickly without the need of outside intervention. As I said, someone like this should not be dealing with vulnerable individuals and I hope your company takes this as seriously as it needs to be taken before her ill treatment of a sick and vulnerable person leads to a medical situation/emergency. The employee's name she gave me was **, but I believe she gave me a false name. CVS Hollywood, FL 3400 Hollywood Blvd 33021

There isn’t an option that is helping you and no option to speak to an actual person. Older people should have the option to speak to someone instead of going through a process that is ridiculous and no help unless you're on file at that store and refilling a prescription that you already have. That’s the only time it’s simple for them to use.

CVS Pharmacy, Westminster, Co overcharges people for prescriptions on an insurance plan. When questioned the pharmacist attempted to put the blame on the corporate office and could not explain the difference in the contract agreed upon amount and the amount that was charged for the same type of medicine. The pharmacist said the manufacturer sets the price that the medicine is sold for, but that is not true. The insurance contract sets the agreed upon price and the CVS Pharmacy must abide by the price. Previously CVS Pharmacy Westminster, wanted to charge $29.00 for a prescription that was $6.25 at Kroger pharmacy. The pharmacy does not use the insurance contract price, but the pharmacy submits the prescription to the insurance carrier. Also this pharmacy has been accused of disbursing adulterated or expired drugs. I do not plan to ever use a CVS pharmacy again.

This is regarding the CVS Pharmacy store at Seabrook Commons, 628 Lafayette Road in Seabrook, NH: -- I am not one bit surprised by the 2* rating related to the reviews herein, attached to the name "**". One of the pharmacists at this Seabrook location, named **, who was sure to claim that "This is my store", showed me today that he has absolutely no respect whatsoever for years-long loyal customers, or especially towards folks who are senior citizens, such as my husband and me. I have never been spoken-to in such a harsh, disturbing, bullying manner as ** spoke to me today.

I can only wonder if he speaks to his parents or grandparents as he horridly spoke to me. He was downright abusive, disrespectful, and could not have cared less that I needed to solve an issue as to why one of my husband's heart medications was listed as "Inactive" and "Un-refillable" that ** contemptuously insisted was "cancelled" by our cardiologist, when he, our doctor, told us that neither he nor his office staff had done any such thing.

This was an irresponsible, even dangerous error on the part of CVS, and ** could have easily handled this issue in a mature, professional manner, rather than apparently wanting to win the argument -- after which time he hung up on me, TWICE. He refused to allow me to speak while continually having spoken over me the entire time. I was so flabbergasted by **'s disgusting display of bullish, insulting behavior that I called the corporate offices and submitted a formal complaint against him. I will not let this sit. They agreed that his behavior was completely unacceptable. I added that I had hoped my conversation with ** had been taped for quality control so that the home offices could hear for themselves how ** verbally abused me.

I made it clear that it is only **, and not a single one of the other kind, helpful and professional pharmacists who work at this particular store, who treated me as though I was something stuck to the bottom of his shoe. I don't know how anyone, let alone a pharmacist who deals with the very health and medications of other human beings, could possibly be allowed to continually get away with this type of shocking, arrogant behavior towards paying customers.

My conversation with this impolite man was a nightmare. We are the parents of four adult sons, and we cannot even remotely imagine any one of them speaking to others, including and especially senior citizens, in the same way that this **-person spoke to me today. I remain extremely thankful that he is not my son -- and I extend my thorough congratulations to whomever might have raised this cocksure, ill-mannered bully. No one deserves to be forced to endure this brand of harsh verbal attacks simply for calling one's pharmacy to ask a question.

CVS bought this great cough syrup called Scot-Tussin Cough Syrup and I can not get it in any CVS within 100 miles of me. And because they are the only distributor, I cannot get it in this state. I have a wicked flu and it says it’s unavailable indefinitely. This stuff has worked so well for me in the past. I keep wondering when CVS will finally go out of business. They have been providing mediocre service my entire adult life. The one cough syrup I can take is not available because CVS does not want anyone else to sell the product. PS All those top reviews are fake…every single one by a marketer

CVS is supposed to be a pharmacy. I just wanted to state that first because as a pharmacy, they are absolutely useless. They don’t make ANY effort to contact the doctors if there is any issue, AND they don’t contact the patient if the medication is unavailable. So you could be waiting for them to fill something that they don’t have in stock and they don’t let you know (happens in multiple locations).

They also make it as hard as humanly possible for you to speak to a representative! Before, if you wanted to speak to a pharmacy representative you needed to jump through hoops to get someone on the phone. Now you can’t even speak to someone directly. You still need to jump through hoops (pressing numbers, returning to menus you’ve already heard, etc.). But now you need to leave a message and they will call you back. And if you miss their call you need to repeat the process again.

I’ll make it simple: CVS Pharmacy seems to NOT CARE about disabled people, veterans, or senior citizens, or patients with cancer. If you want proof, please read below. If you don’t have time to read below, just avoid CVS. Please read the 2,000 plus negative reviews on “Consumer Affairs” https://www.consumeraffairs.com/rx/cvs_rx.html. And all the negative reviews on Yelp.

The straw that broke the camel’s back was when, at an earlier time, the pharmacist told me, “Your doctor prescribed you too many of these”. I’m sure the DEI type pharmacist knows all about my cancer and medical history better than my doctor of 10 plus years….NOT! (Think about it for a second, why would a pharmacist say that----if you can’t figure it out then you’re a perfect match for CVS). Other times I experienced poor service, long waiting times and casual CVS employees whose visiting with fellow employees is more important than helping customers. This already made me think I better find a different pharmacy.

However, on a weekend, my 75 year old spouse was in an accident (not her fault) and the emergency room doctor gave her several prescriptions that he told her to start ASAP. Because of the urgency (both her arms in casts) I went into a nearby CVS pharmacy at 1:28 P.M. As I walked up to the pharmacy counter the technician told me they were closed for lunch and she pulled down the steel curtain as she was saying “You will have to come back later”. I told her my wife had been in an accident and both arms in a cast and we needed the medications. The technician told me, “come back after 2:00 PM”. I then watched 6 employees walk out of the pharmacy and I guess went to lunch. Great manager can’t arrange a lunch schedule!!!

OK, I waited until just a few minutes after 2:00 pm when they opened back up. When I handed the technician the Rx script I said, “Please check to make sure my wife’s insurance will cover these medications”. He said, “OK, give me a minute.” I then said, “she needs these right away and we haven’t been here for a long time and that is why I need you to check that the insurance will cover them.” He again said, “OK, I’ll be right back”. A minute or so later he came back and told me that she is covered and it would be up to two hours to fill them and “we will text you when they are ready”. I said thanks and off I went. An hour and a half later I get a voice mail that says, “We’re having some problems with your insurance….have a good day.” I wheeled myself back in and talked to a very rude and defensive pharmacist who handed me back my paper RX scripts, basically telling me that I needed to go someplace else.

I’m sure on a normal basis, that people who don’t mind waiting have no complaints about CVS. The problem comes if something out of the normal happens (like being asked to check the insurance before the customer waits for a couple of hours then finds out they are not covered----that is why I asked first). Then they make you feel that they are put out and will just tell you anything and don’t take the time to look up your situation. Poor service, rude pharmacist, employees who would rather chat with each other than wait on customers, has convinced me to never, never, never go back to a CVS pharmacy.

Please read the 2,000 plus negative reviews on “Consumer Affairs” https://www.consumeraffairs.com/rx/cvs_rx.html. And all the negative reviews on Yelp. You will be wise to find a friendly pharmacy like Walgreens or some other one that cares about their customers. When I went to Walgreens the friendly staff, including the helpful pharmacist, helped me resolve the situation. Thank you, Walgreens. “I’ll be back.”

I will never use a health care organization that treats me so unimportant that they have decided I'm not even worth answering the phone when I call with a pharmacy question. How could you seriously have arrived at that decision with any sort of optimistic outlook on the impact it would have on your pharmacy business? I will NEVER set foot in one of your stores again until you have a human answer the phone when I call my pharmacist with questions about the medication they've dispensed to me.

For 25 years, my family of 8 have relied on your pharmacy and your pharmacist as a valued resource for my family's medical needs. It is a despicable SHAME that you have chosen to put profits over care quality by taking away the ability for the pharmacy staff at your stores to answer calls directly from the patients to which they provide medical services. I have spent 25 years developing a personal relationship with your pharmacy staff, and I do not agree with being reduced to mail order level impersonal robotic service? I don't think so.

As a result of your Company's choice to dehumanize us, my entire 8 person family have removed all of our lifelong prescriptions and pharmacy records from your pharmacy and demanded they be transferred to now be filled at the local Ferndale Family Pharmacy located directly across the street from your store. After 25 years of Loyalty to your brand and your store, you have lost our business forever. Your corporate greed has poisoned our relationship.

Your area manager tried very hard to convince me that the phone system restriction was needed in order to continue to deliver a high quality of service from your pharmacists. This is obviously a direct lie. It is insulting that you would think that I don't have the critical thinking skills to realize that there are hundreds of local pharmacies who can both answer the phone and STILL turn a profit. In fact, one of them is located directly across the street from your store. How convenient for me. The truth of the matter is that the only pharmacy that can't answer the phone and still somehow maintain their core business seems to be your chain. From that perspective, the explanations and apologies from your area manager come across as dishonest and hollow.

The pharmacists at the Ferndale Family Pharmacy are able to deliver the same quality of service that your location used to deliver, but they are somehow also able to have a pharmacist answer the phone whenever I call with a medication related concern. If my local pharmacy is able to deliver that level of service, without issue, then I can only conclude that your company has decided it is more important to save money turning off the phones than it is to continue providing quality care to my family.

You should consider changing your company name to CVS Low Budget Pharmacy, because that is the direction that this shift is signaling you are moving. I don't know how you think that having an automated attendant and a "leave a message and we will maybe call you back within 24 hours if we feel it's necessary" policy for your healthcare patients is going to be beneficial to you.

It is my sincere hope that many of your customers share my feelings of betrayal and disappointment in this matter, and that it results in enough of a loss of pharmacy patients that you have no choice but to reverse your position and reopen your phone lines like the proper healthcare provider you pretend to be. It would appear that your company has gotten so large that you have forgotten that you. are primarily a pharmacy, which is a person based health care organization. With the recent string of bankruptcy in so many of your major chain competitors, you would think it would be a warning sign to you that your profit hungry corporate conglomerate pharmacies are no longer delivering care that your customers consider acceptable.

Location: 3300-10 South Broad Street. Philadelphia, PA 19145. My mom and I had a terrible experience at CVS today, the whole incident started around 2:55 pm. It all began with where at first we were waiting in line with a lot of people, there was an elderly at the cashier complaining they only have one cashier where there’s 50 people waiting in line, cashier (Keyur) says: "Why don’t you do something about it?” The elderly says "Does it look like I’m a cvs employee?” They were still going and going…

When it was finally our turn, my mom made a smooth transaction at the register, and I paid for mine at the self checkout with one of the store employees help to enter my DOB because I purchase cough medicine. Later, my mom got two bottles of detergents and a cough medicine, she got help by a store manager at the self checkout. During the whole time, the lady that helped me during my transaction was standing in aisle 2 to help and I guess to watch if anybody steals. After, I was standing near the lady with our stuff that’s been paid waiting for my mom to get in line again with 2 bottles of shampoos. When she got to him (Keyur), he says: "YOU pay for your detergents?” She says: "Yes.” Him: "GIVE ME THE RECEIPT!” In a very mean tone.

My mom asked me for the receipt because I’m the one standing not far from her with our stuff that’s already paid for and the receipts are in the bag. Then she handed him the receipt, he took a look at it and process my mom’s transaction without her consent. My mom was asking me in our language why he check on me and doesn’t check on anybody else? She is right, we were still in the store, there’s an employee standing next to me as I was waiting for my mom, and my mom was at the register, and he accused her of stealing already? Not like we were pushing the cart out…. Then he tells my mom “Speak English! Speak English! You know I can call the cops, right?!”

I told him:”Go ahead, call the cops!” Not like we did anything wrong. Then he was still going telling my mom to “Speak English!” *Points fingers* and calls my mom a **! Everybody heard him including one of the staff. I was seeking for help, but sadly, nothing, no apologies. We left the store helpless, disappointed, and sad, because we got mistreated. No one deserves to get called a **. I called corporate right away to report this issue, hopefully something will get done. CVS should not tolerate an unprofessional staff with a nasty mouth.

He loudly questioned the validity of my prescription and disability diagnosis in front of other customers, violating my privacy. Despite following my doctor’s instructions and having no issues at other pharmacies, he claimed the prescription was incorrect and gave vague, unhelpful responses when I asked for clarification. When I pressed for details, he became defensive, accused me of arguing, and even threatened not to fill my prescription.

Additionally, another medication sent to CVS was never addressed, leaving me without it. After confirming with my doctor that the script was sent, CVS wrongly told a new pharmacy it was "too soon" to fill. My insurance also confirmed CVS incorrectly charged me before I even picked up the medication. When I called CVS on 12/16, the women I dealt with, spoke over me throughout the duration of the phone call, refusing to acknowledge any mistake.

CVS’s handling of my situation and the disregard for my privacy was unacceptable and dangerous. The Woodstock staff’s unprofessional behavior should not be tolerated, and I encourage anyone with similar experiences to report it to CVS corporate, the state pharmacy board, and the Better Business Bureau. As a new customer, this was a deeply disappointing experience. I would advise those who are having similar issues to transfer to Village Apothecary down the road who had none of the issues CVS had.

CVS in West Grove, PA refused to fill my prescription mouthwash, even though they filled it in October. When November came around, they refused. CVS Caremark said my local pharmacy SHOULD fill it because it is covered under my insurance plan AND they had filled it in October! They refused because they don't care at all about anyone but themselves. I called CVS Customer Service 2 times to complain about my mouthwash and the General Manager of the CVS in West Grove said he would call me. He did, but I missed his call, unfortunately. I called him back 3 times AND left a message and he NEVER CALLED ME BACK. Why?!? Because he doesn't care about customers, that's why.

And as you learned from above, CVS only hires terrible people who just don't care. If someone calls you 3 times AND leaves a message and you never call them back again - you are a liar and a horrible person, especially considering you are the supposed "manager" of the pharmacy in West Grove. The CVS in West Grove, PA is awful. They will only hire nasty people who are not interested in helping you AT ALL! If you have a problem - they don't care and won't do anything to help. They are very rude people and they only hire women who are jealous and mean because they're old and not married. If you're a nice person, don't even try to get a job there because they won't hire you if you are kind and helpful. I have yet to meet a friendly, competent and helpful person at that CVS pharmacy in West Grove, PA.

Even the pharmacists don't care, because if they did, then they would make my mouthwash for me. And guess what? They DID make it in October and then when I needed a refill in November they absolutely refused. Why? It's simply because THEY DON'T CARE!! If you make it one month and then refuse to make it the next month you are only doing that because you have no empathy or compassion!

I wish they would have as many ulcers in their mouths as I have right now - because then they would understand that my mouthwash is important to me and I NEED it because my mouth is covered in ulcers. But do they care? Nope. In fact, one of the women pharmacists actually became angry about it and said no one should get that amount of mouthwash!! I wish she, in particular, could experience the ulcers that I am currently experiencing. It's a shame I can't give them to her, because then she would understand why this mouthwash is important to me and my health! IT'S ONLY MOUTHWASH, FOR HEAVEN'S SAKE, I DON'T EVEN SWALLOW IT!!!

In conclusion...do NOT use the CVS in West Grove, PA, as they are absolutely the WORST people in the world!!! I have NEVER heard of a pharmacy that will fill a prescription one month and then the next month they absolutely refuse - they deserve to be fired for that!!! They should be fired because they are refusing to help a customer who has a legitimate prescription and legitimate medical problem that could be helped by that mouthwash - but instead, they throw a fit like a baby and refuse to fill it. What kind of service is that?!? It's terrible service, that's what it is - and I wish on them the horrible mouth ulcers that I experience every day!!

By the way....because they are refusing to fill it and fussed about it like a baby, I am forced to pay $80 every time I need this mouthwash. But does CVS care! Nope! Does CVS Caremark care?? Nope. Because if they did, then they would FORCE the pharmacy make it for me, but instead they're just acting like a limp noodle and refusing to help me. The entire CVS company is horrible and I have nothing but awful experiences every time I go there. I hate going there and seeing all of those useless, uncaring, unkind, jealous, lazy, mean and rude people. I can't stand to even look at them.

If the company of CVS actually cared about their customers, then they would make that pharmacy in West Grove fill my mouthwash prescription!!! Do you not understand, CVS Caremark and the Corporation of CVS, that they filled it in October and now they are refusing to fill it anymore!!? What kind of a company is this? A terrible one, that's what it is and I have nothing but disappointing, frustrating and horrible experiences every time I'm forced to go to that awful place!

WAKE UP Corporate CVS - and help a customer who needs it!!! Force the CVS pharmacy in West Grove to fill my prescription - they already filled it one time - why in the world will they not fill it again?!? Why don't you do something about this?!?! Because those pharmacists have no compassion and are lazy, I have to spend a ton of money buying it elsewhere. But if the pharmacy would fill it, I would only have to pay around $2. Don't you care about your customers, CVS!!? Why don't you act like you care and do something about this problem I am having!?! PLEASE!!!

The vet called in and provided the prescription 3 times - each time the pharmacy claimed they didn’t get it. Our vet provided the call logs to show but they still wouldn’t accept. We then got a written prescription scanned by our vet that they wouldn’t accept because it wasn’t “written”. So the vet called a 4th time! The phones are a joke, they wouldn’t call the vet back or call themselves to confirm (despite it being their fault the prescription wasn’t going through) and said the vet had to be the one to call. They claimed at first it’s because we weren’t existing patients (we are) - when we proved that false they then said, well because it’s a new prescription for an existing patient they can’t help. It’s absolutely ridiculous and the worst service I’ve ever had - especially when you’re dealing with a serious health emergency. I’m infuriated and stressed.

I am writing specifically about the CVS worker on duty at 299 Glenwood Ave. Bloomfield NJ on 11/27/24 at approx 9:10 am. I was getting prepared for a Flu and Covid vaccination and the lovely Pharmacist told me to go into the next aisle and wait for me in the booth. I did and I toggled the door to enter and a man came over yelling at me to not touch the door. I apologized and mentioned that the pharmacist told me to go in and he began raising his voice saying I am not supposed to be in there and 'people go in there to do their drugs. First I shot back and asked him do I look like I do drugs? Second I told him to watch his tone and he continued to raise his voice. I told him at least three times that's not how you talk to people and demanded of him to watch his tone. I do not remember his name, he was a tall heavy set man in his 30's with a ** name. Horrible customer relation skills. Train your employees better. I did not deserve that type of prejudice.

I have multiple prescriptions that I have automatically refilled every 3 months. I have done this with CVS for years. Now, for one of them, I received a 1 month refill instead of the 90 day refill, followed by another 1 month refill a month later. Instead of giving me the last 30 days of my 90 day prescription they then told me the prescription had expired. I had my doctor send them a renewal of the prescription and they still would not give me the last 30 days of the 90 day prescription that they did not fill correctly. I get to skip a month thanks to them. I'll live.

On another of my 90 day prescriptions, 1 pill twice a day, 180 pills to fill the 90 day prescription, I received only 4 pills which I discovered when I open the package at home. No explanation in the package, on the container or when I returned to the pharmacy and told them to give me the correct amount. Is this the type of service I should now expect from CVS? What service should customers expect from the company in the future? I do hope to get some correct refills before the end of this year, and beginning in January I will have them filled at another pharmacy.

I have been using CVS Pharmacy in Southbridge, MA for over 10 years now. I take most of the same medications I took then, a few new ones. They have always given me trouble filling my recurring meds. I take albuterol inhaler and albuterol solution in my nebulizer. They refuse to fill my nebulizer solution because it's the "same name" as my inhaler. The doctor prescribed levalbuterol instead, they call the doctor and then tell me the doctor changed the prescription that I have had filled every month for 10 years and I can't take it every day any more. The doctor tells me that that is not true, but they still won't give me my nebulizer solution.

I have recurring prescriptions that I try to fill and they cancel them without even trying to fill them. I try again and they tell me they have it scheduled. When the scheduled day comes to fill it, they tell me that they have to order it and I should have requested it sooner. I go for days and sometimes more than a week without medication I'm supposed to take every day. I have multiple health issues and a terminal illness for which I take medication to slow the progress, and that is one of the medications they refuse to fill on time.

This is crazy. It's always been a hassle, but they are getting worse. I can't keep fighting like this. I am in the process of changing pharmacies. I think that that is what they want. I do have a lot of medications, and they are busy, so they either don't want to be bothered, or they are incompetent. Either way, I'm afraid that they might refuse to fill any of my prescriptions while I'm changing pharmacies, or some other kind of retaliation. No one should have to go through this.

The transaction number is **, the reg was 7 in the pharmacy. The name of the girl who rang me up was Jamila cashier # **. She got my CVS card number and added it but then charged me full price for both items $12.79 for each one instead of giving me the 50% off the second one per the sticker in the shelf in front of it. I did not notice it until I got back home and was looking at my receipts and I live over an hour away. I went to Marion to my doctor.

I then called the store and they do not even answer but make you leave a message for a call back. I left the message and no one called me back so I called again and selected the store option and got the manager Carley who was extremely rude and unhelpful she automatically tried to deny the issue and blame it on the customer saying “Oh she must have forgot to get your CVS card!” when I told her that the girl overcharged me. Then I told her “No she did get my CVS number and enter it and still overcharged me”. Then she put me on hold and came back and said that the items were not on sale so that is why it did not deduct and she said the sticker was above them.

I explained to her I used to manage for Walgreens and am not and idiot and do not buy anything that is not on sale and the sticker was right in front of the calcium chews. She then wanted me to bring them all the way back to the store to get the difference and I told her I am not driving over two hours round trip to get $6.40 and that she needed to just send me a gift card for it, which she refused to do so I told her I would contact the corporate office and she acted as if she could not care less! This is FRAUD and THEFT!!

The CVS in North Haven, CT is the worst CVS store in the area. I do not shop there very often, but it seems like every time I do there is an issue. I.e., no one around to help, employees not knowing exactly where an item is and they just point in a general direction, employees talking among themselves and ignoring customers or inability of employees to perform simple tasks. The other day I went there to return an item and do some shopping. I took the item out of my bag along with the receipt and gave both to the clerk (Brianna, who was also Shift Supervisor) and said I wanted to return it.

She asks me for my CVS card or phone number, so I give her the CVS card. She processes what I thought was the return and needed my credit card to complete the transaction. I asked her what card I used originally, and she proceeds to unwrinkle some receipts that she had crumpled and left on the counter next to her. I hadn't noticed that she had done this to my receipt and I became annoyed that she hadn't asked if I wanted it back. She starts to whine that she had been working since the morning -- it was 2 p.m., only about 6-7 hours. She calls security to the front of the store. At the time I didn't realize that the security was because I was annoyed at her crumpling the receipt. She finishes the transaction, gives me the transaction receipt and I start to walk away. She goes, "Don't you want your purchase?" I said to her, think about it, I made a return, that's not mine. Then I realize that she had charged me for the item that I was returning.

That's when I became really annoyed at her actions and her not even saying sorry for the inconveniences she caused. She calls for backup and to complain to someone about the customer who was so upset about her and that she had to process two returns. It's funny that when I went in the store there were 5-6 people ahead of me and I had to wait quite a while to be waited on. Yet, when she finally calls for backup, there are only 3 people in line -- great shift supervision. She finally processes the two returns and I ask to speak to the manager. She tells me that she was the manager -- REALLY???? I just left the store, without making the purchases I had intended to make at CVS. Management at this CVS definitely needs to wake up.

    Dear CVS Customer Service Team,

I am writing to formally address an incident that occurred during my recent visit to one of your stores. As a regular customer who relies on your store not only for shopping but also for pharmacy services, I was deeply upset and embarrassed by the treatment I received from an employee named Adrian, who identified herself as a manager.

Today, I stopped by the store while wearing a hoodie and a medical mask, as it was cold and flu season. I had just come from other stores in the area, carrying my reusable grocery bag, and decided to look around and price-check some items. Upon passing Adrian, I greeted her with a polite “hello” and proceeded to browse the travel-size product section in preparation for an upcoming trip.

Shortly after, I noticed Adrian going to the front of the store and calling for security. Initially, I didn’t think much of it, though I found it odd. As I continued shopping and approached the front again, Adrian called for security a second time. Despite this, I selected some items and proceeded to the checkout line.

While I was waiting to make my purchase, Adrian brought another employee to the front, creating an even more uncomfortable situation. Feeling uneasy, I asked Adrian about the repeated security calls. She claimed that the system operates automatically or is triggered when someone appears “suspicious.” I explained that I was simply shopping, as I often do at this store, and emphasized that I am a loyal customer.

Adrian’s explanation did not alleviate my concerns. Instead, it left me feeling targeted, humiliated, and discriminated against—seemingly because I am Black and was wearing a hoodie and a medical mask.

As a frequent shopper and someone who entrusts your pharmacy with my healthcare needs, I am deeply disappointed by this experience. I believe no customer should be made to feel unwelcome or unfairly profiled while shopping.

I request that you address this matter promptly by investigating Adrian’s conduct and implementing measures to ensure that all customers are treated with respect and dignity. Additionally, I would appreciate an apology and assurance that this type of behavior will not occur in the future.

Thank you for your attention to this serious matter. Please feel free to contact me if you need additional information regarding this incident.

Sadly they also staff in a cost saving model that not only guarantees horrible customer service but burns out the few poor souls that do work there. I think I’m on my fourth new pharmacist this year. They always had to put you on hold and plan on 20-30 minutes minimum. So now they have a new system (Oct 24) that makes you leave your phone number for a call back but of course they never call you back. So it’s even more frustrating and useless than before. Sadly this pharmacy is the only one close to my home and some of my pills cannot be automated for delivery so I’m stuck. CVS needs to stop telling the customers what or how long we should use our medications- if we have a doctor monitoring and doing blood work and giving the medication that best fits our needs- CVS has no business getting in between the patient and doctors - CVS is a pharmacy and should stay as a pharmacy- fill out what doctors send out to their customer and stop telling us about Florida's law- we are well aware of Florida's laws- If they are so concern about our health- then stop sending text about the Covid vaccine- how do a pharmacy give you a vaccine without knowing the patient's history- How can CVS put something in your body without knowing anything about the patient- this is why we have doctors. But yet- they tell you what medication you take and how long you should take it- Stop it CVS- stop controlling what we should take or not take- This is why we have doctors.

We will take any vaccines with doctor's approval, by them checking of any concerns, before we take something that we don't have enough data. Personally- I will never take the vaccine on a pharmacy or drive thru- that is insane- but yet they have the audacity to tell the consumer what is not good for you if taking too long- what do you think the Covid vaccines will do in the long run- no one knows- ENOUGH!

The company issuing the gift card is Vanilla. One of the gift cards was compromised. It was used before it was even opened. We were told to call Vanilla, we did that. After months of investigation, they did not respond reimburse us. They told us to go back to CVS. After almost a year of runaround and “investigations”, no help. I went to the store and told the manager. He “tried” to give me a refund and the “system” declined the refund.

We were loyal customers. Yet, CVS continues to let criminals steal on a regular basis with no consequence and chalk it up to “shrinkage”. Meanwhile we continue to be inconvenienced by locked up products and higher prices. CVS, your stock is down partially, because you cater to the people ripping you off and refuse to take care of your loyal paying customers. Therefore, your stock is down almost 20% yoy and almost 30% ytd. I guess you will not learn the lessons of Rite Aid, Walgreens and Eckerd in the south. As for me, I will no longer buy gift cards and I will stop shopping at brick and mortar chains that refuse to take care of their customers.

When I asked for it, I was asked if the prescription was called in. A prescription for water??? Cashier asked the pharmacist, who said the store doesn’t have it or sell it. Went to Walmart- EASY! No wonder Yelp has you rated one star- You suck CVS!

I am a 10 year customer. CVS pharmacist refuses to dispense my medication, demanding a driver's license. I showed her a picture of my valid driver's license. She decided she was a medical practitioner and police officer and misquoted the law, while being unbelievably rude and ignorant. A pharmacist needs a valid reason to withhold medication and has to research the matter. She had no legal right to take this action. I will switch to an independent Pharmacy.

New pharmacist at the Hazeldell, Vancouver branch. My first interaction was an incorrectly filled prescription, that turned into a nightmare due to the "I can do no wrong" attitude of the pharmacist. My doctor ordered a prescription a certain type of insulin, and it was incorrectly filled with a different type. The pharmacist believes he is entirely in the right because months ago there was another prescription for a different type of insulin. CVS internal documents show that the old prescription was not on auto-fill, and the new type was correctly entered into the system. Besides not having the correct insulin for over a month, being out of pocket by $105, my AC1 has shot up to 8.1, overall I can say I'm kind of lucky. Lucky because I realized the pharmacist's mistake before I loaded the insulin into my pump. I might not have been alive to provide you with this warning.

I would switch but they have an “agreement" with my prescription provider. My luck- so I sit here as it now has been 34 minutes and counting.

The CVS in Unionville Connecticut has jeopardized my health by giving me the wrong prescription twice in the last 6 months. My doctor changed my blood pressure prescription in December and this pharmacy filled the old prescription both times that it came up for a refill! I informed them the first time they refilled it that it was incorrect and assumed they would fix it. Instead they requested a refill in the old amount from my doctor’s office a few days ago, according to a nurse I just spoke with. My blood pressure has become lower and lower, which can damage my heart! When I confronted them, the pharmacist told me that my doctor gave them the prescription which is absolutely untrue. THEY REQUESTED THE WRONG PRESCRIPTION FROM MY DOCTORS OFFICE! What they are doing is endangering their customers’ health! Do not go there!!

    1. Why are employees so rude, unhelpful and seemingly miserable?

    2. Why is CVS stores so dirty?

    3. Why are they incredibly overpriced; price gouging?

Yet, amazingly the customer experience is the SAME in the every store.

So I've been a patient at CVS for 7 years since I moved to Florida. I had bad feet so they were like the only pharmacy with a drive-thru. In the last 2 months after leaving the hospital I have run into nothing but problems with their pharmacy. The app telling me to come in and pick up prescriptions that weren't there, wasting my time, gas and money so I finally broke down and switched pharmacies.

It's a holiday weekend. Magically they couldn't find my prescription for insulin and were planning on leaving me screwed until next Tuesday. Thankfully I'm proactive about my health and went to my doctor's. Got my insulin within an hour with my new pharmacy which I won't add in this because this is just about CVS being terrible. I don't recommend anyone ever using this pharmacy chain. They do not care about their patients even if you've been one for seven plus years. Do not go here. Do not under any circumstances take anything serious in your life about this pharmacy because they do not care about your health, well-being or medication!

They do not have medications a basic pharmacy should have, they dispense inaccurate and unreliable information and on top of all of that the attitudes of the employees are so unprofessional. When you question something one person will lie and the other will swear to it. This is a dangerous pharmacy. I’ve submitted formal complaints to CVS main pharmacy as well as to the pharmacist’s district manager but nobody has the time to police this broken down place. Goodbye CVS… You suck.

Blue Medicare RX of MA and CVS is a fraud. I’ve been Blue Medicare RX and CVS Caremark customer for many years. I didn’t really pay much attention to this whole business until recently, when I noticed that Caremark keeps increasing prices for my 3 meds. It got to the point where it made no sense for me to use Blue RX and Caremark because I was getting meds via Goodrx for a lot less, while still paying for Blue Medicare RX. However, what happened recently completely changed my mind about these 2 institutions (BCBS Blue Medicare RX of MA and CVS). My wife recently had a prescription of the ear drops (for 1 week) called into CVS. When she came to pick it up, she was quoted $180, stating that price without insurance would be $240. Taken aback she refused to go with Blue Medicare RX card. She asked how much it would be with Good rx card.

After waiting for a while the pharmacist came back with $48, saying this is a good deal (really???). It still sounded too high. So, I did Good RX search for this prescription and had discovered that I can get at Big Y pharmacy for $18!!! Now this sounds felonious on the part of Blue Medicare RX and CVS. When I called them to complain I had discovered that this Blue Medicare Rx program is now managed by CVS itself. Can you freaking believe this mindboggling conflict of interest? We are literally being robbed by CVS under the guise of Blue Medicare RX...in broad daylight. Absolutely disgusting... Someone should go to jail for this.

And to make matters even worse they now won’t even let you talk to a human when you call to speak with a pharmacist. Instead you have to leave a message. Additionally, if you have more than one prescription ( let’s say a random number of 5) you will almost guaranteed have to go to the pharmacy at least 3 times because there is no way your prescription can all be ready the same day together.

We only use CVS because that is who we HAVE to go through with our insurance. We prefer Walgreens. They just said they filled my prescription and I should have about 60 pills left which I have zero. My doctor filled the prescription 2 days ago and they just let it sit. When I finally went through their extremely long voicemail system because they won't let you talk to a person, and had to leave a voicemail message for them. They called back and said now they are going to charge me. I did not get the 90 day supply only 30 and now they refuse to refill it without charging me for the prescription.

Since they entered their records wrong my insurance won't pay for it. We are seniors and on a fixed income and now having to pay for CVS's mistake. It's pay for the prescription or have to do without for another 60 days. WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THEM. This type of thing has happened before where they say my doctor didn't send out a refill and when I doublecheck it is not the doctor but CVS that made the error.

I spend hours trying to reach the pharmacy every time I need to refill my medication. Every. Single. Time! They are making it harder to connect with an actual human and they make decisions on whether or not they are going to refill my medication without telling me. Here are the issues I continue to have: They keep processing my refill based on an old Rx from 5 years ago that I transferred 3 years ago, not my current one, which causes delays. Even with my prior authorization, they keep charging me full price while also getting paid by my insurance. When my annual prior authorization is pending, they refuse to fill my Rx, even though I have said I will pay for it. When my insurance denies coverage, they call my old doctor from 5 years ago instead of me or my current prescriber and change my medication without clearing it with my current doctor. Good luck getting them on the phone.

All that said, this is a CVS issue, not a staff issue. The staff are great and will do what they can to help sort out my refill problems.... when I give up on trying to navigate their phone system and just go directly to the store. CVS as a company has become impossible to tolerate from my perspective as a customer. Every 90 days since I transferred my Rx to CVS 3 years ago, I have to go through this.

I’m not talking about 1 or 2 times but every month for the last 15 months. Once I have my last prescription filled with CVS I will never enter their doors again. Keeping people like them employed only means that CVS agrees with their nasty behavior. I absolutely hate and I mean hate CVS. This is in Pace Florida.
