I've been a "member" by force through my FEHB (govt. employee) insurance. I have a long term chronic genetic condition that has run through a number of drug categories over the length of it. Over the years CVS Caremark has tried to shoehorn me into treatments that have either stopped working, never worked, have had terrible side effects, or they levy 25% of the cost of the drugs that actually do work even when there is no generic equivalent. I am retired now and can't afford the medication that does work. I am watching my condition worsen slowly and steadily, each lab test getting worse. I have no idea what I am going to do. I'm not old and ready to die but Caremark doesn't care. It's all about the money for them. They are an uncaring, undeserving racket. Period.

I have used CVS Caremark for my prescriptions for the last 6 years. In the last 2 years it has become a nightmare. My husband gave up on it last year and I am done! The site is either not available, does not recognize me and consumer help can't fix it. I have to change my log-in every time I try to order and even that doesn't work. I have spent hours on the phone trying to get in. I will now use the local pharmacy. It was so much easier to be able to track my many medications and their refill dates online but if Caremark doesn't up their game we seniors will resort to other means. So much for being consumer friendly.

My employer has forced all employees to use this neglectful company. I have always opted out of mail order because I am on important medications that I must take without any gaps. I was paying a local pharmacy and local CVS until I got really sick BECAUSE OF THE JOB CONDITIONS/UNPROFESSIONALISM and have to stay on a budget. It's better to pay more and get medications than to not receive any medication and end up in the hospital or morgue. Hopefully, I dont end up in either place.
I've been waiting for important maintenance medications for 2 weeks now. My doctor has followed all of their requests. Still they keep sending the same emails with same rhetoric. They're either lying or incompetent or both. I notified my company and I'm going to my job's headquarters to the executives to show them proof of everything stated here. The union representative is not intervening but loves to take our money from our paycheck. Avoid CVS Caremark at all costs so you do not end up in the hospital. Trust me. Anyone can contact me for authenticity of my complaint. I do not report anything unless I am tested. My pleas have fallen on deaf ears. It disgusts me to give my blood, sweat, tears and life force to an entity who doesn't care if I live or die. It's on now. Let the whistleblowing begin.
