I went to WalMart because I was bored. I decided I'd buy a fish. The conditions were terrible! Now, I know they're FISH but it's just disgusting...and has to be against SOME health code for fish to be dead and decaying in the tanks. There are enough pet stores in the US...WalMart should'nt sell fish if they're not going to take care of them. I bought a fish but it won't eat the recomended food and I knew in the store that it would die regardless of the fact that I was trying to 'save' it. The beta fish were the worst, two teens thought it'd be fun to put two betas together and just watched them kill each other. The beta's fins were shredded and they had no water and were surrounded by grime. I was disgusted at the entire experience.

    Description of complaint:
I purchased a laptop from walmart back in september of 2008. I went to the electronics section and the worker came and asked if they could help me. I told him that i run a home based small business and that i had an desktop that i think is going out soon because it is real old and running slow. I told him that im looking to invest into a laptop so that when it does go out. i would be able to load my programs on it and not have down time for my business. i was debating between the acer and the hp. because the one i have i a hp. I was told by the employee of walmart that the dell laptop that i purchased is the better buy for what i need. he even enlisted the opinon of the dell service center person and he told me the same thing. Im not a computer person, so i trusted what they said was true and factual. well now that my computer finally went out. i tried to load the programs and could not. I took it to the walmart in garland off broadway. the person there told me that i cant load it because i only had 10gb of harddrive. He advised me to go back to the walmart that i bought it from and see if they would give me my money back. I went home and got my reciept and went to the wal mart i got it from. I asked for the store manager and the co-manager(treell) came to the desk. He tried to convience me that no matter what laptop i bought, i couldnt load the microsoft office program because all laptops only have around the same gb. I told him that i may not know a lot about computers but i know enough people with laptops to know that that was a lie. he then took it back to the solution center. then he called the worker and told her to ask me to come to the dell solution center. when i did, he and the man that originally lied to me told me that someone that knows what they were doing.hide the othe gb on my computer. i again told him that noone has had my computer to hide anything. i had only used it two times to register it befor now. they told me that i would have to pay to have it fixed and that it will cost me 147.00 to do so because dell doesnt warenty software. i told them that i am not going to pay them for lieing to me. they are the ones that convienced me to buy a dell. I told them that they should pull the video and see that i was decieved. the co-manager told me that the video wont be able to tell what i was told and that he cant say that what im saying is true or false. I have spent over 15k since august at this walmart because i relocated my business to texas from georgia. i have every recipt to prove it. i dont have a need to be untruthful about my dealings. im not sure what is going on with my laptop but what ever it is it had to be like that when i got it. the dell person told me that someone who really knows computers had to have hidden the other gb. well im good at what i do as far as my paperwork but when it come to computer tech things, i am totally illiterate. i need to get my company back up and going. i am loosing money, and in this economy being a widowed mother of three, i cant afford to loose money. this cant really hurt me and my children financially. I need something done as soon as possible. for every day im down i am loosing at least 200.00 dollars. I have no money to buy another computer right now and it is unfair. their people decieved me and they have chosen to deny and pass the loss on to me. Please help me.

I purchased 2 Model 5500 oil filled heaters from Wal-Mart both of which have failed. One failed after approx. 3 months of use, the other after approximately 5 months of use. I have a similar type of heater that is a different brand that I have owned and used for 6 years without failure and had similar expectations of the Lakewood heaters. Had I know these heaters were going to fail after so little use, I would never have purchased them. I believe I have wasted my money and will never purchase this brand again.

I have been buying chicken thighs at Walmart for a while now. I buy them for my cats and dog, and sometimes buy chicken breasts for the family. I have been buying chicken for 45 years and am suddenly finding hematomas on at least one package every week. Apart from being very unappetizing, I do believe this means the chicken was injured while still alive and this is very disturbing. Today I found one on a chicken breast. I have never had this problem at any other store.

It was like my entire order was deleted from the system. I was not leaving without a reciept, so I told them to cancel out the order and just put the refund back on my card. Well, then they wanted me to sign it and give it to them, without giving me any proof of my purchase or the refund. After dealing with an incompetent cashier, asst floor mgr., another floor manager, then Elise, and this taking more than an hour to get her to help me, I still have not received my refund of $124.96 back into my checking account as of today 2/19/09. I do my usual shopping at our local Wal-mart. I was going through a check out line. A young boy by the name of Kyle was my cashier. Kyle was scanning my purchases. Which my purchases began to pile up by the check out in Wal-mart bags. Some of my purchase began to fall on the ground. I asked him politely to put my purchases in my cart. He told me with a cocky additude That is not my job. My job is to get you out of my line. I smiled at him and said your joking. Nope he said. I was applauded. I asked him if he could get his supervisor over to our line. He kept scanning my purchases. I walked over to the service desk. Which was across our line, and asked for a Manager. I explained to the two gals what had happened. They were puzzled and called for a CSM. I walked back to my cart and line. I waited but no one showed up. I spent nearly $300.00. My daughter and I started loading the cart. Picking up the food that was on the floor. I paid. I walked back to the service desk where a CSM, Amanda met me. She asked me what the problem was. I explained to her that the young red head Kyle is a very rude cashier and he wouldn't load my cart. I had my food laying on the floor. I am very upset. I explain to her and showed her my purchase ticket. I told her I didn't like my treatment here. I want to make a statement. She said okay and gave me a 1/2 sheet of paper which I filled out and need another one. She said well I'll pull him aside and have a talk with him. We might have to retrain him, give him a day off to rethink about his actions, or if he wants to let him go.

I told him yes, then the cashier told me it had to be ran up seperatly. I told her okay. Then when she handed me the receipt, I said I said 25.00 not 33.94. She said, Oh, well money card is 8.94 for the plastic card then you put the 25.00 on it, I said, no way, I am not going to pay for a plastic card, I want to change it to a walmart card. She said she couldn't do that, I would have to go to Customer Service. I then waited in line for 20 minutes, feeling very irritated. After I got to the counter, they told me they couldn't refund the money I had to call the number on the card... I called the number on the card and it is a recording. I went to look on line to find a number to call and found out they won't even active it because he is 14. I can't get through to anyone to get a refund because it is just a recording. So, here I have this card I paid 33.94, for 25.00 can't activate it, can't get a refund, can't get help from Walmart Management, and am SO Ticked off I don't ever want to shop at Walmart again. But most objectionable, in several months now, I've rarely been greeted by any of the greeters at the door, who usually are talking among themselves and seem to make it a policy of not greeting **. I know that's politically incorrect, but it's fact, and you might have some observer check it out several times; maybe even the manager. I frequently shop at Wal Mart and spend alot of my personal money in their stores. I spend aproximately $500.00 a month shopping at Wal Mart. On the morning of Feb. 16, 2009 I went into Wal Mart Store at Amherst, NH; went to electronics to shop for a $50.00 Boost Mobile Phone Card. I spent approximately 20 minutes searching for said card. They were apparently out of stock because there were none. They had $20.00 & $30 cards but, they did not have any $50.00 cards stocked. So, I asked the store clerk (one of 3) in electronics if they had any $50.00 Boost Mobile Cards or alternatively, if they sold Pre-paid Credit Cards. He stated he didn't know and so I walked away. After reflecting on the situation, I reaproached the clerk and directed him to pick up the telephone and find someone with a brain to assist me and answer my ordinary consumer questions. He contacted cosumer service and then informed me that they had pre-paid credit cards at the front registers. I then picked up some groceries and went to check out and purchase a pre-paid credit card (because they were apparently out of the $50.00 Boost Mobile Cards). I could not find any pre-paid credit cards at the front registers. After paying for my groceries, I went to the customer service desk and asked the customer service representative about their Boost Mobile Cards and Pre-paid Credit cards. I was rudely disregarded at first and then rudely directed to the pre-paid credit cards by this person. I then requested to speak with the store manager. When the store manager finally appeared he himself was rude and disrespectful to me. After I explained to him what happened he began to make unreasonable and totally irrelevant excusses for his employees actions and conduct. He even went so far to falsly accuse me of being rude to the customer service representative and thereby justied her actions against me. I assert that at no time was I rude to Wal Mart employees, who I regularly support their incomes. I further assert that the store manager is dishonest, corrupt and ignorant. You should not lie and disrespect the hand that feeds you! I hereby boycott Wal Mart and will now make it my duty to bring them down. I would also add that while I was in electronics not one of the three employees their offerred me any assistance despite the fact that they were not busy helping other customers and while at the customer service desk I was the only customer there. Further, I noticed the Store manager had a southern accent and; apparently a southern prejudice as well. There is absolutely no reasonable excuse for Wal Mart's actions. I plan to sue them for defamation of character and discrimination.

While visiting the pompano beach super center to buy fruit, I noticed that several packages of blueberries were molded from top to bottom. I was unable to purchase them because of this reason. After contemplating on which other fruits I could purchase instead of blueberries I noticed that there were no pears stocked, no apples stocked, no grapes stocked, and minimal to no peaches or plums stocked at all. The peaches and pears were swarmed with fruit flies and natts. Upon discovering this issue, I noticed several people very unhappy in the same fruit section I was looking in. I noticed how unsanitary, unorganized, uncared for and none customer friendly this walmart location was. This alone was very disturbing and very unconvient for me. After swatting several natts I decided to go wash my hands in the women's restroom in the front of the store. This was by far the most disgusting and awful experience I have ever encoutered before. There were numerous sanitary napkins on the floor of the bathroom. Several toilets were clogged and covered with urine. The smell alone was unbearable. I hoped that no one would have to experience the same thing that I did while visiting this Walmart location. I took the initiative to contact the manager and advise him of the unpleasant visit I had today and I was told in few words to none. it is the weekend, and its rough on the weekends. This was the only response I recieved upon this horrible experience. This experience alone was enough for me to never, never return to the Walmart in Pompano Beach location ever again. It shows by example that this Walmart does not care about its cleanliness, or the way it treats its shoppers.

I got them home and was taking the price tags off, when I noticed, they were priced at 1.00 on the factory tags. The 1.50 sticker was over the original tags. I took them back and asked to speak to a manager. None were available so I left my phone number. No call regarding this matter. I went back the next day and a few days later to check the sock racks. All was still the same. Sale...1.50. On my last check, they had cut all the original tags off, that had the price of 1.00 and placed the 1.50 stickers on them. I think this practice is illegal or at least it should be. They are making a 50 percent markup on every pair. If they do it on these small ticket items, what are they doing to the high end items?

Our CMN Coordinator quit on February 12th due to passing out Veteran flyers at the CMN Meeting on the 11th. His name is Don **. He has been with Walmart for 20 plus years and has done a lot for CMN and the Brewer community. The Market manager, Alan, yelled at him and told him that he was not allowed to do anything involving fund raising without his consent. We have never dealt with this kind of issue in the past. Don is very compassionate about what he does and is very respected among the community and the associates at Brewer Super Walmart. He asked me to get involved in raising money for CMN and getting others to get involved. He is the one that got the store involved.

The Market Manager has taken away all ways to raise money for CMN. We had umbrellas that hung from the ceiling that brought in revenue of about $200.00-$500.00 a month depending on the season, time of month, and holidays. He has also taken out the buckets that the people greeters have at the door and we lost money there too. We can no longer have anyone in the community out in front of the store to promote safety, which is the fire department, no girl scouts or boy scouts or any other community relations that help us to raise money. We cannot have yard sales, craft fairs or any other thing to raise money for CMN.

The only program he is allowing is the round-up program. What you do is when the customer buys merchandise and it totals $23.78, we ask the customer to round up their change to the nearest dollar. I don't have a problem with this whatsoever. What I have a problem with is that every little bit of money we raise not only helps children but maybe someone we may know and brings revenue into the store. We can no longer have BBQs to help raise money for an associate who is in need. He is having management basically threatening cash register operators with their jobs. Management is on edge and the community is upset and you will probably receive many emails about this. We cannot lose Don ** because this Market Manager has an attitude. Everyone is afraid of him. Don deserves an apology from Alan and Wendy, his assistant.

I finally instructed one of the older teller to call a manager 5 minutes later he shows up. I was purchasing ice creme. After the asst. Manager unlocked the cashier, which took less the a minute I asked to speck to the manager. He informed me that was in charge of the entire store. I told him I was in line for 15 minutes and absolutely no one helped the teller to unlock the register for that period of time. He stated he was busy. What type of operation does Walmart run were they can not assist customer at the cash register. Enrique was not trained in problem solving or helpful in resolving problems. He feel that being busy is an excuse for not managing the store properly. All it would take in someone at the service desk to hit a computer key to unlock the register allowing the tellers to do thier jobs. Instead Enrique would rather argue his point of being too busy to do his job. He offered no apology or promise to better handle his staff. It is no surprise Walmart staffing at least in this location is very unprofessional to say the least. I shop often there and always notice the staff talking and playing while numerous customer wait for check out. You have 4 registers avaliable and 1 open while the rest of the staff laughs and stares at the customer. Walmart need to straighten thier act, your staff needs to be replace along with your managers. Where do I start. Well first my beloved Cocker Spaniel died on Christmas Eve so I wanted to get some pictures of her printed as well as some Tshirts and Sweatshirts.Well I got the pictures and the Tshirts. Then about a week later I got a call that my sweatshirts were in. I went to the store where NO ONE in the photo department could locate them. The lady told me to reorder them. I advised her I had already paid for them one but would not pay for them again. Then I went to the customer service desk and asked for a manager. A customer service manager came over and I explained the situation to her and she said lets go find them BUT on the way she passed me off to another lady that I dont know who she was and I attempted to explain the situation to her and she had me follow her to site to store which confused me.She went out in the back and came back with another lady. They looked thru boxes and the other woman said you must have gotten them!! I said NO I didnt open the bag until I got home and there were two Tshirts in the bag. Then I advised the other woman to give me my receipt and I would just contact my credit card company. Then she said just a minute and went in the back and returned with a copy of my reciept and asked my name and phone number which was on the reciept already. I then left really pissed and vowed to never return to THAT Lafayette Road store again.I came home and emailed customer service at walmart and got someone with functional brain cells that did credit my account for the shirts. When I saw that had been done I reordered the sweatshirts from a different store or at least I thought I had but when the order was finalized it stated my shirts would go to THAT store. I immediatly emailed walmart and just asked for the shirts to be sent to another store. The next day I recieved an email advising they could NOT change the store where my shirts would be delivered. This after I told them I will NEVER go back in THAT store. Then I got an email saying when they call and say your shirts have arrived call customer service and tell them to call the store and have them refuse the shirts and it would be credited. Simple HUH Nope remember Im dealing with Wally World. No now I got an email telling me to go to this link so I did and it tells me to print out a return label. Umm for what since I DONT have the product!!!! I then emailed them for hopefully the last time and told them they have definnitly lost a customer and if the shirts arent credited on my card by monday I WILL notify my credit card company and dispute the charge. And then I WILL get ahold of my best friends Husband who happens to be an Attorney and should it go that far I dont care what kind of representation they have it will cost them more than just a customer.

I went online to compare prices of things that I needed for my new laptop. Seen on their website this cooling fan for 19.97 I was shocked because it was cheap. So I went to my local Walmart and there it was 24.88. When I went to the counter I showed them what I had seen online and the price and they said they do not match online prices. Well I said you can keep it then and continued to pay for the rest of the stuff that I had. I then called up the Corp. office and they said that they do not match the website prices. I think this is wrong do to the fact I can find anything on the internet for any store and they will match those prices that are on their website. This is wrong since you are getting the same product for a cheaper price on the website but not in the store and all you have to do is pay .97 shipping and handling along with the tax for your state which is cheaper but have to wait to get the item rather being able to get it from the store directly. You should be able to go to the store and get it for the same price that they advertise on the website for the same item. They told me that it is stated on their website that these are web prices only I did not see that all on their web site even after looking at products available at store.

The spinach was stirred and heated on the stove without my noticeing anything in it. It was stuck in the back of my throut until I gagged it forward (and nearly vomitted). It has seriously scratched the back of my throat. I will no longer purchase Great Value Brand canned vegitables. How do you play a cd without opening. The clerk opened the replacement cd at the store before giving it to me got home and I played cd and the same problem as the first. Bad CD. stuck on song and skipped to each song after few seconds called store and asked for manager and told them the problem and I was told I could not return it and they should not have replaced the first one and all this was because I had opened it, I bought something in good faith that it was good and two items have been defective and I'm told I can't have a refund because I opened them. I have spent thousands of dollars through years at walmarts and I have bought many CD's and DVD's and don't remember having to return one. I realize you probably have problems with people making false returns but this is just outright taking my money and me getting nothing. I am very angry with your company and it's not the money--- it's the principle. I do expect something to be done about this. Pull the defective items from your shelves --- but don't open them.

sure some of the issure are real and are the responsiblity of the store, but what about the consumer, are they not also responsable for there actions as well, an example, i saw a customer yelling at a customer service personel because they would not take back an item HERE IS THE PROBLEM, THE ITEM WAS MARKED ZELLERS, IT HAD ZELLERS MARKED IN SEVERAL AREAS OF THE BOX. READING LESSON HERE ZELLERS IS NOT WALMART, THEY HAVE 2 LETTERS THE SAME, you tell me who is wrong. if a person buys something to resell and the item was missing something who is responsable, not the seller, it is the maker, the people who work in the stores do not open the boxes to see if it the items are all there, , that is the responsiblity of the consumer, i agree the customer has the right to report the item to the store that are not up to standards, most store appriate it,and will thank you, but let me tell you this, if person come screamming in my face, they are abusive, and most stores will say anything to get rid of you, and be glad the you do not return, at least this is the way i look at it so if you have a problem , take it to the store , BUT ACT LIKE THE ADULT YOU ARE TEACHING THE NEXT GENERATION TO BE

At all three locations I was told they never received the product. I asked if I could get a rain check and was told no? at all locations. At the first location the Manager told me they had never received the TVs and did not know what to tell me except to try another store. He also stated that they advertise items that they never even get. We proceeded to the other stores to be told the same thing.
My question to Walmart which still to this day can not be answered is. How can you send out an advertisement to a local newspaper but yet the stores never received that item, and not one employee has an answer as to why? Except that Walmart advertises things and the store does not always get the items. To me this appears that you are being extremely deceptive to the public, and you are using false advertising to entice consumers to patronize you stores. I know that in your advertised merchandise policy you state on while Supplies Last Items that Items are items that we carry at a special price for a limited time or that we do not intend to continue to carry on a regular basis.? Your clause also states Our advertising circular may vary by geographic region, and any particular regional circular will apply only to stores in that region.? So if that is the case please explain as to how a circular can go out in a particular region but the stores did not receive the item. One would conclude that to be false advertising and very deceptive.

I asked her why it was coming up one price when the tag said something else. She didn't have an answer. I mentioned the part of the tag on my bra where the price was supppose to be wasn't there. Someone had taken them off of all the bras. I believe they were trying to hide the fact that the price was different when scanned. I wouldn't have been so upset but on the day before (3rd) it happened 5 times in the grocery section. I believe that they were doing this particular on the first of the month as that is when the older people are shopping. They don't usually watch prices as closely and this Wal-mart can cheat them. Before any prorata refund, Wal-Mart demanded that the battery be charged and checked out with a diagnostic computer! This test took 2 hours of my time and was unnecessary because the battery was dead (after all it lasted within days of a year beyond guarantee). NEVER have I had to wait on a diagnostic check of a dead battery. The Kerrville staff politely did what Wal-Mart policy dictated. They are not to blame for this. I understand requiring a diagnosis if the battery failed during the 3 year guarantee. Not a good policy for customers needing a quick battery purchase. I am sure that prorata refunds are forsaken because of the wait for diagnostic results (death warrant?) for a spent battery.

Getting now to the reason of complaint. Wal-Mart has now shown that it cares little for those who are elderly or have disabilities. I have a sciatic nerve that starts hurting me after walking around on the hard floors of Wal-Mart for a while. Today my wife and I each had a shopping cart and a list of things each of us had to get. After completing my list of items, I needed to sit down and wait for my wife to finish her shopping so we could check out together account my sciatic nerve had really started hurting . I normally sit on one of the benches near the grocery dept., but to my surprise they had removed all of them. We were told later by an associate that Wal-Mart was trying to open up their store like the Target stores. This move tells me that the customer is not important any longer especially those that are not in perfect health. All I can do is take away the $500.00 average my wife and I spend there each month. My mother went into Walmart to ask the front door associate (Bobbie), if she or another worker would bring one of the wheelchairs out to me at the car, parked in the disabled parking spot. The associate (Bobbie) appeared to be irrate at the fact she would have to bring a wheelchair out to me in the parking lot. She informed my mother employees weren't allowed to let wheelchairs leave the store. She suggested my mom to drop me off in the front of the store, which is marked clearly a No Parking fire zone. Since the beginning of my surgery, I had attended two different Walmarts a couple of times and never once had I heard of a complaint from store employees to bring a wheelchair out to me at the car. There was even a wheelchair sitting outside, not being used and I used that to get into the store. I was very disappointed because this is a store I shop at on a regular basis. I was planning on grocery shopping at Walmart on this particular day and had arranged to have my mother help me to get everything together. I am angered at the fact this employee wasn't able to work with my mom or myself to help me get into the store. I ended up waiting in the car for my mom to finish shopping. I am a past employee (actually manager) of Walmart Supercenters. The above stories are only a few of the horror stories intertwined wih Walmarts. Being an employee can be just as bad and at times, worse. My main point to consumers is - is this not how and why you pay less for their products (Much less for products at Walmarts)? Sam used to have pride in saying, "Made in America." Very, very little is made in the US now (or at least sold at Walmarts) and that is what you get with global trading and that is why Walmart is the leading retailer.

I will not comment on how they love to pass the buck to everyone else and are also experts in this area. You all make them who they currently are now. Buyer beware. We do have a choice in where we shop. The saying does go, you get what you pay for. Being a past manager for them, I feel I need to apologize for them, to you. Sam, I believe, was an amazing man and honorable. (To my knowledge of him) Money is, the root of all evils, depending on whose hands it is in. Bless America.

I bought an airbed on Monday, and found it was not the right size for my room after opening it up (I just open it to see if it fits my room) and realized that it's too big, so I had my friend to return it for me on Tuesday. And somehow, there is a really tiny sign on the wall in return section saying about airbed return policy. No returns for airbed except exchange. So my friend thought she would just exchange for a new one and we can try to return it later on. We went to the store again on Thursday, with the exchange receipt (I gave the original one for my roommate to calculate our expenses and how much we should pay to each other). At first, the person in charge came and told us he would give us store credit as the airbed is new, but after a while he decided he should not do that (maybe his manager will make this hard on him) and he started to say really mean things to us like, "It's all your own choice to look at the return policy before you buy things."

I told him the policy is really, really tiny that I couldn't even see it, how were other customers supposed to see that before they buy it, and questioned them why not posting it on where the airbed section is. He was really rude to us, saying that it's a lawful policy and that's what American always do (I thought they usually tell you it's not refundable when you pay). Then he had his manager, a ** around 50 to come talk to us. He started arguing with us, and I guess he might not be the manager, just someone who is really good at offending people and arguing. They were really ambiguous about the rules for return. They changed their answers so many times.

Every time we try to talk to them and make some points, they would shut us up with, "We just want to follow the policy," or "Why are you here to argue with us? I don't want to debate." While my friend was really mad and murmuring that they were so rude to us because we were Chinese (yes, we are international students here!), he just simply said Yes and leaves. Then somehow another younger guy came, and just keep saying that's the policy while he could barely read the policy on the wall (it's super tiny). I was so frustrated there that at the moment, I don't even care whether I could get my 60 dollars back or not.

It was around 10 pm. I guess they were worn out from working and taking it on us, Asian girls. I was too angry with them that a tear just burst out :( I feel like not only they were taking it on us but they feel superior about having the power over us. They have insulted us in so many ways. I actually feel bad for them, maybe that's the only time they feel superior about themselves. Anyways, I was not able to refund the bed. I was okay with that, but I wish they had posted the policy on where the airbeds are or tell the customer when they pay for it.

I had the correct information on the form but they keyed another location and I did not catch it. The following tuesday, assuming I failed to hold up my part of the agreement, the loan company repossessed my vehicle.

Today I was shopping at Walmart and saw a special Old Milwaukee beer for $5.97 for a 12-pack. I picked up 4 thinking that was a good price. At check stand, they rang up at $6.37. I told the woman they were marked $5.97, so everything stopped for about 10 minutes. Some guy named Joe went back to check price. The checker went back to check price. Joe said Keystone was $5.97, not old MI, and there were 4 there. l said, "Fine, I'll get that" and went back with the cart. There were two Keystone over the two signs saying old Milwaukee $5.97. The Keystone had been moved over the signs. I took the price tags upfront and even though they clearly said Old MI, this Joe guy showed me a UPC number and told me that was for Keystone (like "see, it's your fault").

He was covering up for his mistake. I told him I'd pay the extra 40 cents just to get out of there and did. He has done this before when I was overcharged, telling me "this only happens to you." I'm tired of being overcharged. I've written to the head manager and got no reply. I speak to others that have had similar experiences. This guy should not be in customer service.

I don't know if it's the ingredients that stained it, or the plastic container it is made out of. There was no leak in the bottle. I'm very upset about this product. There is no 800 number on the bottle. How do I get a new bathroom counter top? I can't get it off with anything. Please direct me in the right location. When asked if she could call and see if Wood River(the next closest one to us) had any. She used her hand held locator and stated there was 2 in Wood River. We drove down there, and was told they did not have any in stock. We asked about ordering us one. When we went on line, they said we would have a charge for delivery nad could not be sen to the store, but would be sent to our house. When we asked the to see if any of the surrounding store had any in stock, he checked Litchfield, Granite City,Edwardsville,Glen Carbon, Collinsville, &Florrisant, Mo., The only place that showed they had any was in Collinsville(With the hand held locator which indicated there was 5). When we asked him to call to make sure they had them, he could never get anyone to answer the phone. He did then print out directions to the store since we had no idea where it was. I did not want to go on another wild goose chase if there were non in stock, so I got the phone number and called. After several minutes, someone finally told me there were none in stock!!!!! I'm glad I didn't just take their word and drive all of the way there!!!!!!!!!!! Ashley stated, excuse me I was in line.(aggressively) I stated, I was behind him. (politely) Ashley stated, no you wasn't either, but you can go ahead. (in a very hostile manner) It appeared that Ashley did not want to wait in line as she kept stating, I shouldn't have to wait in line, I should've just gone to the front of the line. Ashley walked to the counter approximately 1 or 2 customers before me. I overheard her talking to the CSR (unable to see name tag as it was facing her shirt). Ashley stated, they don't know me, I wish there weren't cameras in here. She also was using profanity. The CSR stated, you can get 'em in the parking lot and make them hit you first. That way you can say you were defending yourself. Another CSR or assoc. signed on and decided to assist Ashley before assisting me. Ashley walked away again using profanity after being assisted.

The Wal-Mart Supercenter in Hohenwald, Tennessee is under VERY poor management. Their stock is very poor. For example, they will carry one product one time and once it's gone...it's gone. For example, Swifter Dusting Spray. They carry no plastic hangers and the list can go on and on. If you ask someone, they say that isn't my department.Their prices are inaccurate. The situation that I am about to explain has happened to me several times. The prices under the items say one thing and when they are scanning your products it scans higher. Therefore, you are being cheated. You don't realize this until you get home and remember what the sticker price says and compare it to your receipt. Today I visited Wal-Mart in Hohenwald to purchas some tennis-shoes for one of my less fortunate students. To know surprise they did not have HARDLY ANY shoes for young boys (8 and 9 year olds). Mainly Spiderman shoes for younger children. Then it jumped to men sizes. It is so disheartening to go to Wal-Mart and hope to find what you need, but when you arrive there is nothing and NO ONE can help you. This is a small town that has very little businesses. This is our major store so you can imagine what it is like. The manager just walks around like he's lost. One day I had to do and buy some distilled water. I couldn't find it. I asked the manager where it was located. He said they did not carry distilled water. WHAT? Also, I was canning some thing summer and needed a type of pickling spice and was told they aren't allowed to carry it. WHAT? While I'm complaining, I'll add to the check out lanes. They have I believe 13 lanes. You can go out there on any given day and have to stand in line for several minutes because only two to three lanes are open. I would love for someone from your department or the Wal-Mart Corp. to come and visit the Hohenwald Wal-Mart location. You would be so surprised.

The ladies at customer service were rude to begin with and they said I could not return seasonal items. One said I could because I had a proper receipt and then another one overheard and butted into the conversation saying I could not return it. I said okay and moved to the side to put my receipt back in my purse. What really pissed me off was that the lady behind me had a whole basket full of seasonal merchandise that she wanted to return. The customer specifically stated that she bought the items after Christmas and did not know that she couldn't return it. They gave her a full refund which is bullshit!! You can't do it for one person and not the other. I had a valid receipt showing that I purchased my wrapping paper before christmas and before it was on clearance. This is not proper customer service!! Somebody owes me about twenty dollars worth of wrapping paper. If the other customer could return items purchased after christmas then I should be able to return things purchased way before christmas, especially since I had proof!! I know Walmart isn't the first place most people would think of for convenience sake. They tried to make things a little more convenient with things like putting in 30 check out lanes. Just try and find a single Walmart though that opens any more than 4 or 5 at each end, even during the holiday rush. So add to that the Self Check lanes they stuck in there so they don't have to employ 8 checkers. Well, during the holidays they stuck these big plastic sign holders on the end of each Self Check with a sign that stated they were limiting those lines to 20 items or less. I asked why they were limiting those lines and was told that it was only during the holidays and only so other customers didn't have to wait in line too long. How in the hell does that make any sense? All of the lines are long during the holidays and limiting the number of items at any check out other than the 20 items or less lines is going to inconvenience somebody. So tonight I go into Walmart and the signs are still on the Self Check lines, 18 days into the new year. On top of that, they have reset the damn computers so they are more sensitive as to whether you have placed your purchased item in the bagging area. I swear to God that of the 11 items I purchased, the computer told me 8 times to Place your item in the bagging area even though the items were IN THE BAG! I am not one of those people that have so much time on their hands that they do nothing but complain, but tonight was the straw that broke the camel's back. As if the convenience thing wasn't enough, I had to wait in a line to get out of the store! It seems that with all of the extra money they had from not having to hire cashiers for the Self Check lines they hired 2 people to stand in the exits on both ends of the store. Their job is to grab your receipt, pretend they're looking at it, and then tell you have a good evening. I was fired upalready from the put your crap in the bagging area scolding I was getting from a machine, so I asked the guy exactly what it was he was doing. He said they had to check to make sure everything in the bags was paid for. I asked, So how do you do that without looking in the bags? He answered that they just were looking for items that weren't bagged. So I ask, Well all of my items are in bags. Why are you stopping me? He answers, Uh. Well. Er we just have to check everyone's receipts. Obviously they just needed to make sure everybody had a job, so they hired 4 people to pretend to check bags and receipts. That did it. I would rather go to the convenience stores and pay the extra 25% on prices that cover the convenience than put up with this kind of crap at Walmart any more. If they ae doing any of this crap in the name of convenience, they are missing the mark. If the choices are, 1. Wait in a long long line. 2. Go through a Self Check line and listen to a machine harass you. or 3. Go to the convenience store and pay 25% more in order to get things quickly, then I will go to anywhere other than Walmart.

That’s false advertising when hundreds of people are thinking they are getting a good deal on an item, but they are ripping you off. My advice is to always check your receipts when shopping at Walmarts! Don’t trust them. Hundreds of thousands of people are getting overcharged by false advertisements - Walmart benefits. This is not the first time that this has happened! Someone needs to report them and make the public aware.

Also, I had to take something back after Christmas, several small items and with in the week of purchase without my sales ticket, I only got 25% of what I had paid for them. I understood that is what happens when things go on sale. Then I bought something for my home that did not work and took it back, at that time, I got the cost of it, but was told as I had brought something back in Dec '08, I only had one more time I could return something without the ticket for a year. Most of the time when I return something I have the ticket, but with the rush of Christmas ended up without these two. I know life is not fair and you have a profit/loss ratio you need to balance, but why take it out on the customer? I am a retired widow, Sr. Citizen living on my SS and a few investments and this has made me think twice about continuing my Wal-Mart shopping habit. Upon checking, it came as $1.48 per Ib. so the checker called the associate and she went to check the price. When she (Marsha) came back, she said, "That's right but I cannot give you like that; it was a mistake,"and I corrected that. I replied, "As a customer, I went with the price that was on the ad and therefore it should be priced according to the ad." The associate, Marsha, got so mad and replied, "I can give one eggplant on that price and rest you have to buy at $1.48 per Ib."

I refused and said, "According to Walmart policy, they go with the ad price." She stood right in my face and said, "Ya, ya... Whatever." I was urged to see the store manager. By that time, I was so embarrassed and insulted in front of the crowd there. It was not about the eggplant or the price. it was her attitude and my humiliation, a degrading experience that I wanted to talk to the manager. I felt like a victim as she talked to all other associates that were standing around and everybody's eyes were on me, like I did something wrong.

In the delay of the manager to come, she refused to talk to me . Before I left the store, I talked to the manager, Chad **, and told him what happened in detail and made a suggestion to customer service retaining for Marsha. This experience has spoiled my one day off that I had just because I came to Walmart to shop where associates make their own decision and do not follow the policy. I will appreciate it if these kinds of poor attitudes be changed and no other customer should have to go through what I encountered in Walmart in Forney.

I bought 2 pairs of jeans trousers (WRANGLER) 5 days ago. I came home and found, after I tried them, that they were a bit too small for me. I decided to take them back and exchange them for the right size. When, 3 days later, I decided to go and exchange the trousers, I realized that I lost the receipt. Since the price tags and all other tags are in tact on the trousers, I had no doubt that it was going to be a very smooth exchange. I walked into the customer service department where 2 ladies were on duty. I went one of them and explained to her that I needed to exchange the trousers for right size, and that I lost the purchase receipt. She said she needed a valid PHOTO ID CARD (Driver licence, state ID or passport. I said I did not have any ID. To be sure that I was understood, I told her that I was not returning the items for cash, but was just trying exchange them for the right size. She said she understood that; either way I needed a valid ID CARD. I came home with the trousers too small for me. I thought my passport would help me. I went back 2 days later this afternoon. It was a different agent at the customer service. I told her that I had lost the purchase receipt but I just came to exchange the trousers for the right size. Without asking me any question about ID, she took them from me and told me to go and get the right size and come back. I was so happy and went and picked up the sizes I thought would fit me best and came right back to the customer service. It was then that she asked me for an ID. I handed my togolese passport to her. She was having problems making any sense out of it; She could not read french. She asked me for the expiration date. I told her that it has expired since 1996. She told me she could not continue the transaction.
My question is if one loses his/her purchase receipt and does not have a valid id card or passport then he/she cannot exchange an item from walmart? Meanwhile, I am here, stuck with my 2 pairs of trousers that I cannot wear.

I visited Walmart late at night (probably 1 or 2AM) with a friend, just because we were bored and there isn't much to do in Santa Clarita at night. We were wandering around the store when we ran into the pet department. It was absolutely appalling. There were dead fish in every aquarium. I know that fish die, but this was like carnage. There were dead fish all over the tanks. There were also a lot of fish flailing around, suffering a slow and painful death. Next I saw the betta fish in their little plastic jars (customary because they will attack each other otherwise). They were literally rotting alive in their containers, surrounded by weeks (if not months) of their own feces. Several of them looked torn up and mangled. Someone probably put them in the same container and had them fight.

I immediately opened the cupboards above the fish looking for bowl conditioner for the bettas so I could change their water, but I found nothing. There wasn't an employee in sight. I understand that this was late at night, but this was at least weeks of buildup and no one had changed the water. I grabbed a double betta tank and took the two fish who looked like they had a fighting chance, paid for the fish and the rest of my merchandise, and left the store. I got home, cleaned the new tank, gave the bettas some fresh water and food, and they seem to be doing okay now. I won't be surprised if one or both of them die soon, though.

I do not always shop at Walmart, but severe mistreatment like this makes me not want to shop there ever again. I am so disgusted and saddened by the treatment of these fish. If Walmart is not willing to hire someone knowledgeable (or at least not stupid) to take care of these fish, they should not be allowed to carry them at all.

It is an absolute disgrace to other Walmarts. You can never find anyone to help you lift heavy things such as big bags of dogfood, etc. They do not price their items correctly. There is one price on the object and when you check out another. The Asheboro Walmart is becoming very junky and disorganized. I have been shopping this store since it was build and it continues to go down. I truly would hate to drive to Randleman to a much cleaner, organized store but I am seriously considering making the drive. This in itself would be very inconvenient for me plus the cost of my gas. My husband and I were shopping in Wal-Mart on Friday, January 2nd around 11:00 p.m. We were in the store line waiting to check out when a Norwalk police officer approached us and asked to speak to my husband. He took my husband out of the line and up to the front of the store entrance. I went over and asked what was going on several times and the police officer told me to get away and said he was not going to tell me again. He told my husband that he fit the description of someone that walked out of the store with a cart full of groceries. My husband told him to check his car. The police officer called for back up and another police officer came. They had my husband empty his pockets, searched him, asked him his information, and ran a background check on him. In the meantime while this was being done, 6 Wal-Mart employees stood there and was talking about him. I overheard one lady that was employed by Wal-Mart state that she seen my husband put something in his pocket. The manager on duty and them all watched as my husband was searched. Keep in mind that this was at the entrance of the store where the door greeter is and customers are entering and leaving the store. After several minutes the police officer came over to the manager and told him that my husband did not have anything on him and that there was nothing on his record and that they were letting him go. I went up to the manager with the other five employees still standing there. I asked for Wal-Mart's corporate number. He told me 1-800-Wal-Mart. He never apologized or nothing. I left my groceries sit there and only took the game that I purchased in the back. I called the policed department and asked for a report. They said there was no report written. I asked for the police officer's names and badge numbers. I do have that information, they said they do have on file that Wal-Mart called them out for a possible theft. I then called Wal-Mart back to get the manager's name on duty. He said his name was Rick, but could not give me his last name. The woman stated that the police were never called but a police officer was in there shopping and thought he stole. I called Wal-Mart's home office on Monday. They stated that the manager of the Norwalk location would call me back sometime this week. I called back on Friday and they claim that someone attempted to call me on Thursday at 11:36 a.m. I explained that I never received a phone call and I do have caller ID and voicemail and that no one left any messages or the number did not show up. She said she would have someone call me back. I waited and called back around 5:00 or so and they stated that they would take a few more business days to get back to me. This was a very humiliating experience. If they suspected theft they should have taken him into a back room and they did not have to pull us out of the line to pay for our groceries. We were not even at the counter yet. No apologies, no nothing. My husband and me do not steal. We both have good jobs and this was an embarassment!

I'm just tired of being ripped off! Last night I went in to shop. In the back of the store was a large display of calendars. On each side of the display (north, south, east and west) was a sign with 8 tall letters displaying $9.97. So I picked up a calendar for my office at work. When the cashier scanned the calendar, it asked her to enter code. This calendar had two UPCs on it from the manufacturer. But what I had not seen was a 1 inch x 1 inch sticker that said $12.97 ($3 more than what the signage on the display had stated). When she scanned the sticker and I saw $12.97 pop up, I told her that the sign over all the calendars had stated $9.97. She told me, "But it has a sticker on it." So I told her to call a manager.

Stacy (customer service manager) came and asked me what was wrong. I told her the same thing. She told me it didn't matter what the signage said. It had a sticker on it. Maybe someone had stuck it there by accident. I told her there were dozens of them and I doubt that anyone but an employee would have done that. She just shrugged her shoulders. I watch my receipts from Walmart carefully. Usually, if I buy more than 30 items at one time, I will find at least one item that scanned the wrong price. I guess they are rich enough to either pay the fines to Weights and Measures or pay them off. I would shop elsewhere, but they are opened 24 hours and I work late.

At the checkout it rang up $1.98 and didn't notice until I was a home looking at the register slip. I returned to the store and received a refund. I explained to the manager that this was not the first time that this has happened and that it was a company-wide problem.

What I would like to have happen if someone has enough fight in them to go up against this giant and do a check on all of their price postings and compare them to their check out registers. I know that this is a company-wide problem. And I do recall that when Walmart first started in my small town, if the price posted did not match at the checkout, you receive the item for free. Now it seems that they try and do it because they know that most people do not check their register slips; and if they do it's too big of a hassle to return to the store. I admit that I do try and catch them at what they are doing, but I do not have the education background to really do anything about it. I will leave this up to the experts; but I am willing to help in any way possible to cure this company of this habit.

My Walmart isn't horrible, but the pet department... a mess. I was there 2 weeks before Christmas and then there again a week after. Now I understand it's the holidays. But first off, not one person even straightened out this section - open boxes and product everywhere. The same as almost 4 weeks prior. What really was horrible was the condition of the fish tanks. Now as someone pointed out, yes they are fish. But MY Walmart... the fish aren't taken care of. There are 12 tanks and every single one had fish in them dying.. dead.. stuck to the filters.. Horrible. Not one fish healthy enough to purchase. I have been in pet stores with fish and I have NEVER seen anything so.. morbid.

The fish DIE because no one takes proper care of them. I think they should not sell fish anymore. The poor bettas were over the sink.. Some in barely enough water to even move in. There was a plastic bag FILLED with dead fish in the sink. Most of the time the tanks are empty.. awaiting the next shipment of fish ready to die because no one takes care of them. The tanks are dirty too.

I am sadly a person who rescues the bettas from Walmart. I hate to know they will just die in their bowls because no one bothers to change their water... or at least add fresh water to them. So I am sure they will have them again. But I don't think that Walmart, especially the one in Monticello, NY should continue to sell fish if they can't properly care for them.

Well, if the one I had won't work, I do not understand why the same game but new would work. The clerk more or less said I wasn't too smart if I did not read the PC info on the back before opening the game. Even if I would read it and not understand it, what right does she have to tell me I was not smart enough to know it maybe would not work. All I wanted was either money or even gift card to get something else, not to be humiliated or maybe even to exchange it for one that may work. She would cut it open and then I could take it home to try, which if the first one did not work, why would another one????????? Very rude to me and almost like I'm pretty stupid for returning a gift I could not use. Her remark was then, "Leave the game and go home with nothing." That is not right. So I called the following Monday and reported it and someone said that someone would call me. Which they did, Kathy **. She asked me what went on and I told her and I told her she was in there when it was going on. She said she wasn't. So I said ok. I told her what happened which it didn't do any good. Cause on Friday the second day of Jan. my daughter and son-in-law went to purchase a Moneygram. Mrs. ** asked my son-in-law if she could ask him a question and he said yes. She said, "Have I ever been rude to you?" He said no. So she pointed to my daughter and said that "her mother gave me a chewing out like I have never had." And she pointed straight to my daughter. This really made me feel so offended. I was really upset she has brought a single person into this. See she was very rude to my daughter once again because she did not know for sure she was with him just cause she was standing behind him so I did the right thing and I call out to Wal-Mart to see if Kathy ** was there and they said she would be in about a hour.

So I went out there to tell her what had happened that day. So I asked her if she had spoken to her and she reply that she was not at work on that Thursday. But it seems to me that she would have spoken to her on Tuesday or that Wednesday. It seems to me that she was not going to take this serious. To me it is very serious. I told Kathy that I was going to call corp. again and talk someone once again. She said that she would talk to her. And do u know that she didn't even say she was sorry that she did that to me. I am sorry to say that we have some of the unfriendly people working at our store. So if you were in my shoes what would you do in this situation? Yes I know the answer. I feel like that Mr. ** will not do nothing to the cashiers and mangers he has at his store as long as they get your money, that is all that matters. But I feel like that something needs to be done with this problem. Really. She has offended me for the last time and my daughter. I will look forward to speaking to someone in the morning about this.

The store was busy on a Saturday evening, around 5:30pm-6:30pm. I made an attempt to purchase my items on the "self-register", most of the items wasn't scanning. So I went to the "10 items or less" register, having a buggy load of items, with the checkout lines, stretching to the clothing dept. The cashier on that register told me not to come at her register and pointed at the "sign" letting me know that she wasn't going to deal with my buggy load of items. I looked around, couldn't believe what just happened, a bit hurt about the situation. All of the registers were full with customers. Frustrated, I left and do not want to come back ever again! I returned the tenders and did not even receive an apology from the Customer Service Manager. I was offered a food for food swap, which I declined without hesitation. I am completely unsatisfied with the service I received, and informed the Manager that I will be consulting with my Lawyer on the matter. At that time she got very agitated at me and my 12-yr-old son and told us that she and the man working in the sports section register were not qualified to make the exchange VERY RUDELY. I wish I had that on camera.

I lived in Berryville, Arkansas for 5 yrs. and the store and service there was fabulous and the store in Maui, Hawaii was also a great store. The Pocatello, Idaho store is absolutely TERRIBLE! I am a regular Walmart customer and I hardly had have to return any merchandise, but I purchased a Nintendo DS on 12/12/08 for Christmas for my daughter at Walmart in Baldwin Park, California. What happened is that my sister gave her the same electronic piece so I decided that I will return the one that I purchased since the one my sister got for her came with a game included and it was less expensive. The problem was that I could not find the receipt for it so I went online and printed out my personal bank statement where you can find the transaction to prove that Walmart charged for it. I took the printed transaction to the Store on 1/03/09 and the Customer Service representative said that she could not do anything without the original receipt. I asked her if I can get credit for it at least and she was very impolite and replied saying again that there is nothing she can do for me. I am very upset about this incident and I don't think that I will ever purchase anything at this store any more.

I work at Walmart and the number one thing that is responsible for mistakes is the traffic flow. Every one wants it as cheap as they can get it. That's what Walmart provides. Also, they want it done right now, not later which causes problems. There are about 100,000 policies they have to go by in order to complete the vehicle; and somehow get it done right with a customer screaming at the top of their lungs because their car is not done yet and there were 9 to 10 cars in front of them and maybe 1 to 2 techs working. Being rushed causes mistakes.

I have worked there many years now and have seen it happen over and over. When they're not rushed, they are able to think about what they are doing. If they are rushed, all they think about is, "How can I get this car out of here," which leads in mistakes made. Also, in response to the accusation that they lack experience, I would like to inform everyone that they receive the training they need to do a very professional job. With all the policies, it is hard to make a mistake unless they are distracted (such as being rushed by the customer). There are a number of policies to make sure a customer's car is not damaged in any way.

Most rules we have today are because of customer complaints. If we find that we cannot work on your car for some reason or another, it is because a customer in the past ruined it for you by complaining and crying about it. In my experience, most, not all, people are out there to make an easy dollar and will almost every time sue a major company. I believe if the tech is negligent, Walmart should pay for the damage.

In response to the questions about the fuel system cleaner I have, I would like the customers to be assured that the fuel system cleaner that gets run through the system will not damage your injectors. It's diluted in the fuel that is in the tank and will not cause any problems. It has also been proven to be O2 and cat safe. The tech should run the car after the service to ensure all the chemicals are ran out. The car should be left running for 3 to 5 min. to complete the first step; the full service should take up to 30 to 35 min. Most of the time this is done with an oil change and it takes time to do a good job.

In response to the complaints that there are not enough techs, I will agree. However, I would like everyone to understand that it is very difficult to work in an environment where you know every day at least half of your customers will treat you like an idiot and claim that you could not possibly know what you are doing. This is the leading cause of people wanting to quit or transfer. We'll go through a crew every couple of months (the store I work at is actually better than the average).

It is not that they are stupid; it is the frustration of getting pulled off their car by other customers that walk up to the bays and ask 100 different questions. I will probably get pulled off a car by a customer 3 times before I'm done which leads to a longer wait. I can't ignore them or they get mad and go complain. This also leads to more mistakes and damages. At the particular store that I work, we have been fortunate enough to have the same crew for a while. There are mostly mature adults working in our shop. Currently we strive as a team to make sure everything is done by policy. However little mistakes are made (we are human after all).

For example if we overfill a car with oil, we would catch it because the policy requires us to check it 3 separate times before leaving the bay. If everyone would follow policy, there would be fewer mistakes. Any interruption could cause a mistake. It is very important that a tech finishes a car they have started without being pulled off. I am not taking sides. I have read a lot of these complaints and there are a lot of things I agree with the customer on. However, I feel I must point out that many times the customers that complain about the service they receive at Walmart are eager to listen to the opinion of just any random person who will agree with them.

I have also noticed that often the mechanics these said customers tend to use take advantage of Walmart's reputation and sell them stuff they don't need. On a different note, I would like everyone to know that oil changes are preventive maintenance. Many people bring their car to Walmart after there is a problem, rather than to prevent a problem. Often, the customer then leaves and listens to every squeak and rattle and swear up and down that it didn't do it before they brought it in. Then they take it to a mechanic who uses a scan tool that gives them a general idea of what is causing the problem.

Unfortunately, many mechanics do not have the most advanced scan tools due to their extreme cost. This means that they are taking an educated guess because their scan tool does not specifically pinpoint the exact problem. Many mechanics do a great job at diagnosing the problem, but please be aware that like a medical diagnosis you may need a second opinion with the fault. I would like to be very clear that there are policies that Walmart has that I don't agree with but I know they are in place to ensure good customer service. I follow even the policies I don't like or agree with because I take pride in my work and strive for excellent customer service.

I have read these complaints and certainly acknowledge that many of these claims should have been paid. There are also many that according to the information provided could not have been caused by Walmart. I would like to let everyone know that we try very hard to do our jobs quickly; however, there will be a wait. We cannot wave a magic wand and put everyone at the front of the line and do away with the many variables that can happen. I must note that many of the people who complain the loudest and demand that their car should have somehow been finished as soon as they pulled into the parking lot sit in a doctor's office all day and will not raise their voice to anyone who works there.

I would also like to point out that Walmart has the benefit of shopping while you wait. Not many other places have that convenience. I would like everyone to know that I think Walmart is a great company to work for and I am grateful to all the customers who provide this opportunity. I would also like to note that I am fully aware that every customer is not out to get us. I just wanted to show another perspective and perhaps explain some of the things that have been addressed on this site.

On two occasions, recently on 12/27/2008, I have purchased meat which has been preserved with salt. Unfortunately the salt content is so high that the meat is almost inedible. On the first occasion, several weeks ago, I returned rib-eye steaks after they were cooked and tasted, and received my money back. The recent purchase on Dec. 27th, I purchased pork ribs (for grilling) for $27.94. After cooking on the grill, I tasted the ribs and found them to be so salty that they too were inedible. It is my contention that Walmart allows, maybe even requires, their meat suppliers to over-salt the meats in order to preserve them for extended periods. I feel that the consumers are having to eat meat that is perhaps very old yet preserved with way too much brine solution. The meats should be fresh and they should be edible. I have heard from friends that they have resorted to shopping at other stores because they have experienced the same problem.

When I called the store, they said just to bring it back for a refund. I want the machine, not the refund. I only want them to make the purchase good and not to resell it to someone else. The machine is not usable without this part. If it is returned, they will resell it to someone else and it still won't work. How can it be prevented? I decided to test my local Walmart in Orangeburg, SC; I wrote a personal check for $189.00 and the cashier did even request to see ID. I asked her the store policy - she referred me to the Walmart Customer Mgr. She apologized and said it was policy and was not sure why the cashier did not follow policy. Walmart needs to be held responsible for not following their own policy and the protection of the consumer. It appears they are only interested in getting the money no matter where it comes from or who they hurt. Americans need to stand up to this criminal practice.

Sometimes, they KILL each other. I bought an African Chichlid EIGHT years ago and guess what? He's still alive! If you plan to buy a fish from ANY store at least open your eyes and actually examine the fish before you decide to blame Walmart for the mistreatment of fish. They feed them at our store and with the bettas? They keep them in their own separate container so they don't FIGHT and KILL one another. Did you know that when fish fight and there's an open wound that they start to sometimes grow a fungus infection and die? Well that's not Walmart's fault and quite frankly they can't sit there and tell each individual fish hey don't fight, it'll make us look bad. I get my fish from Walmart and they are still ALIVE because when I purchase them I OPEN my eyes to look for disease and infection and I LOOK to see how many other fish are dead in their tank. My advice: Stop COMPLAINING and OPEN your eyes.
