I purchased Christmas Cards on 12/9/08 for $7.00 dept 18. I'm guessing the number is 81002628-825 which is found on the back of the card. And the barcode is 73168 28791. Anyways, there are 24 holiday cards but only 18 envelopes.

We go to walmart constantly sometimes 3 or 4 times a week but, every time we go there and are getting our fish food for our goldfish we look over at all the real fish they sell for to expensive of prices, and there will be many many dead fish floating or at the bottom of the tanks, and it's such ashame and disgrace for children to have to see such a thing everytime they go there and their have been a few times we purchased fish from the same walmart supercenter and finally we gave up on buying them their to save their little lives because not even after having them for 3 hours at the most they would die and I know it's from the poor living conditions they were encountering there at that store. the betas are also just left there dieing and no one trying to clean it out or help reduce the risks for the rest of the fishes from dieing also.someone needs to do something it's not right and very nasty for children to have to see at such a young age. Also, there respect and manners for their customers is terrible they have none, very snotty and just trying to rush customers through the store or gives a run around of who can help you with assistance you need or want, the door alarms going off all the time for no reasons and people with receipts, older and full baskets being stopped and searched while young empty handed kids and teens walking pass as their searching laughing and not being stopped while the alarm goes off on them because their busy harrassing innocent people, they always have not enough registers open having 26 registers, 8 self check outs, only opening 3 or 4 registers at a time and shutting self check registers down at 7pm and your left standing in a mile long line with children sometimes just for one item and in line for 1 or 2 hours, it's crazy when they refuse to open more but the employees are just standing around while your in that long line laughing, talking, eating and ignoring customers.

I was shopping w/ my son (Gavin--5 mo.). I was finished with my shopping and went into the bathroom to change my son's diaper. I used to changing table in the front of the restroom. When I was finished I ficked him up and folded the changing table back up. I proceeded to put him in his car seat, as I was bending over the metal changing table came down and hit me really hard on the right side of my head. My son starting crying really hard...I am not sure if it hit him or not. I am pretty sure it did not hit him because I did not notice any marks or bumps on him. I think it just startled him because I yelled. There was a Wal-mart associate in the bathroom that heard me (she did not see to incident happen). She asked me what happened and if I was okay...and informed me that I needed to speak with a manager and submit an incident report.

I purchased a camera on 11/14/08 and had it ship to the store. The amount of 53.33 was taken out of my account on 11/17/08. I was told that it would be in on 12/4/08. I rec'd an email on 12/4 asking me how I liked my camera. I called Walmart to find out if it was in they told me that the order had been cancelled and I need to talk to On-line Services. Then I rec'd in the mail a letter from CITBank C/O Bill Me Later, Inc stating that my request for bill me later had been denied and the letter was dated 11/15/08. I did not ask for this service because I purchased the camera on line and my money had been withdrawn already. On-line Services said that it looks like I am part of a fraud scam. I don't know about this because nothing shows on my account. On-line Services called Walmart in Lumberton and talked to Jessica. She said that the camera was defective and they sent it back, and put in for a refund that should take 72 hours to receive. Today is December 11, that's more than 72 hours. On-Line services said that I need to talk to Customer service in Lumberton about the refund because after they sign for the product, Online services is not responsible anymore. Walmart states that I rec'd my refund. After an hour and half on the phone with On-line services, I go to Walmart. I got there and asked to speek to Jessica. She knows all about what happened and I should be able to clear this up asap. I went with a copy of the Bill Me Later letter and a copy of my bank statement. I waited 15 min. and customer service called her twice. She never came. I called the store manager from my cell, the number was above the customer service sign. Terry was in a meeting so I spoke with Dave the assistant mgr. I told him my story. He left me by the door for over 20 min. Another manager came over Anthony and I had to explain to him all over again how I did not get my camera nor a refund. He went to find Dave. 15min later I'm still in the door and can't find anyone. 10 min later Anthony found Dave and brought him out. Dave was talking to On-line services and they said that I needed to contact them. Anthony ask me what he could do for me????? Was he not listening!!!! I want the camera I ordered!!!!! Fix the problem!!! Now I'm back to square one and I still have nothing to show for my $53.33! I spent over 3 hours for a $53.33 camera (that they have in stock at the store) and got NO where.

In the past 6 months we have had some rotten luck with outdated stock at the superstore in Kokomo. We bought crackers from 2004 and instantpudding from 2003. Last week we started to buy cottage cheese and I looked at the date and the front ones were a week out of date. I finally got some from way in the back and it was ok. but today we purchased 3 5lb bags of flour. They were not outdated but were full of bugs, and we ruined a dozen eggs making noodles. Thak you, but I like chicken with my noodles.

My 15 year old son and I were waiting and shopping while perscriptions were being filled which took an hour. But during that time my son and I split off and he went to electronics. He then noticed some guys following him, and he said very loudly to quit following him, I have always told him to do that. He then hurried away to hardware where the saws were. The two guys approached him and asked him if he was stealing and he NO. The two guys then asked him if he was nervous and he said wouldn't you be if two strangers were following you around. The guy John pulled out a badge saying he was an uncover cop. He told my son he blew his cover, what cover??? My son hadn't done anything wrong but look around. Guess what you can't shop unless you look. John then told my 15 year old son to go find me and stay with me. I didn't find out about it until on our way home. I then turned around and went back to the store to talk to the manager I believe his name was Micheal. He told me they weren't aloud to do things like that and that my son had to be doing something wrong. Then I asked to speak to John and he refused. I asked to see the video and he refused. So let me get this straight, my 15 year old son who by the way has never been in any trouble or done anything but shop and look around was harassed and stalked. And for what??? I don't get it this is no way to keep customer coming back. I spent 175.00 in the store on 12/08/08 and I'm not sure I will ever be back. I may even go public. And all the manager would say is I will check on it. But what he meant was I'm busy and don't bother me.

I purchased what I thought to be the DVD version of The Dark Knight, the new Batman release. It wasn't until I got home that I realized that I had incorrectly purchased the Blue-Ray version instead. When I returned the product to customer service at the store I was greeted courteously by the person at the counter who then exchanged the wrong product for the correct product. A refund was given to me for the difference. The whole experience was very pleasant and I appreciate the manner in which it was handled. I felt the need to write and tell of the good experience that I had. Too many bad things are reported without attention being served to the good. My thanks to the store personnel that attended to this with such courtesy and professionalism!

I called and was told that Walmart.com tried to verify my purchases, they could not, therefore they canceled them. I never received a call. So, now the one item I wanted is out of stock, and I was told by the supervisor that I may no longer have the prices I paid on Cyber Monday. I refuse to rebuy those items at nearly $100 more (combined total).

I ordered and paid for one hour pictures on line. My son was over that way so I asked him when he was done shopping to please drop by wal mart and pick up the pictures, which he did. My son is 17 and they gave him the pictures, he came home late from shopping, got a shower and went to bed. I went to open the pictures and noticed the name was spelled wrong (which happens all the time with our name) so I opened them up and sure enough they were not our pictures.
I noticed on the outside of the envelope it had the ladie's name and number that the pictures belonged to and it said she was to pick them up at 10 am the next day. So I called her and told her that I would not be able to get them there by 10 (so that she didnt waste a trip) but that I would have them there around noon. She thanked me and said good night. When I went to the store to tell them what happened, the clerk said, these pictures were paid for here, I thought you said you paid on line. I said I did pay on line, these were someone else's pictures, apparently last night my son paid for these WRONG pictures. She then got my pictures, told me I needed a copyright paper, and then proceeded to tell me she couldnt give me my son's money back. I asked why, she said she needed a receipt. I told her it said right on the envelope that they were paid for, or else how did he get them? She said we needed a receipt. I told her that a 17 year old boy was doing his mom a favor, he was in school right now and I doubt he saved the receipt. After a heated discussion, I told her fine, I wasnt giving her the pictures till I got the receipt. She told me I could go to customer service and I could get the money. I then asked for the manager (who was there the whole time listening, I didnt know he was the manager). He walked over and said to me I personally assisted your son last night. I asked him if these were the pictures and he said yes. I then explained to him that my son had no idea what pictures they were I just told him to pick up pictures. They could have been of people at work for all he knew. He went, gave my name, said I ordered on line and was given pictures. He said, and I quote Doesnt your son know his last name?. Our name gets so distorted. People call us all kinds of things as they can't spell it. We get Donahue, etc. So Donlevy was not that far off, he had no idea. I was so mad when he made fun of my son. I went to customer service, who were wonderful, got my money and they made me return the pictures to the photo department. Please be aware, at any time I could have walked out with these pictures yet again and no one would have cared or known. Anyway, I went back to photo and waited for the manager, who conveniently disappeared when he saw me coming. After several minutes, he came out with another gentleman, proclaiming HE was the manager. I told him this story, and the pretent photo manager tried to talk over me claiming he never said anything about my son. I then told him he needed to look over their policy on customer service and take a good look at this so called manager who puts down people. When I got home and spoke with my son he told me that all the manager said to him the night before was, what's the name. My son said Donadee my mom just bought them on line. The managed sai Deb?, he said yes, and was given the pictures. He never even mentioned the last name, or looked at the pictures. So.. there you have it for great customer service.

The attendent told me to come back in about 10 minutes, which I did. I waited at the counter waiting to check my pictures out but nobody talked to me. There were 2 attendents in the photo shop. I asked the same attendent about my pictures, but she said that the machine was broken, that it would take a while. I said how long, she said she does not know. I suggested that she calls someone but she said no, she was the only one. Still they kept checking out pictures for other clients saying that those pictures were larger formats. I asked her if she could cancel my order but she did not answer. Eventually, 15 minutes later, she comes around the counter, and using a code, reorders the pictures through the machine I used to place my order. I asked how long this time, and says I don't know, an hour maybe?. I told her, you win, and I left. Realizing that I did not want to stay in line with some items that I bought, I decided to go back and attempt to have the photo counter scan my items. When I got back there, I was surprise to see that the lady who was waiting along with me was being given her pictures. In a matter of 2 minutes after I left and came back, she got her pictures. I expressed my concerns but the cashier told me the pictures were larger prints.

I was VERY SPECIFIC about how I wanted my hair done. I said I want BIG waves put in my hair- nothing LITTLE, can you do that? The hair stylist said yes. Well, after the final step of rinsing my hair after the perm, the stylist blotted my hair dry for like 30 seconds and then walked over to the register to have me pay. I said aren't you going to dry my hair or comb it or anything? (My hair was dripping wet and got my shirt soaked and I had to ask her for another towel) and she said oh, no you don't want to do that because your perm will fall out. and I said well, I'm getting my family portraits taken. and she said well then getting a perm was a bad idea. So I had to walk around wal mart to stall time to give my hair time to dry, and then get my pictures taken w/ uncombed hair. Not only that but my hair had very little waves- the total opposite of what I wanted. So after I got my pictures done I went back to the hair stylist and had to ask her how long before I can wash my hair after getting a perm, because she didn't tell me how to maintain a perm. I had perms in the past but I couldn't remember if it was 24 or 48 hours before I could wash my hair, and in the past salons have even styled my hair. The reason I didnt complain then is because I'm a very quiet and shy person. The reason I am complaining now is because 2 days after I got my perm it had already lost half its wave. nobody even knows that I got a perm, everyone that had seen me thinks I crimped my hair or put braids in it over night. I dont think she knew she was rude because she didnt have a mean tone or sarcasm to her voice, she just acted like everything was no big deal, but my self esteem was kinda low by the time I left there.

On black Friday me and my family went shopping not quite as early as everyone else maybe around 6:30am. As we were leaving the store we were harassed by the greeters. Now i am not ignorant i know people steal all the time but not everyone. She (Gloria) began to ask for receipts and as my one sister showed her receipt i began to walk toward the exit. Well all of a sudden security was called and maybe 3 more people came with a basket. I asked why are we being treated like criminals we payed for all of our merchandise. The one associate/manager told me once they checked the receipt they would give us everything in the basket that we payed for and the other things she would take. So i immediately became offesive my one sister couldn't find her receipt and i remebered that the cashier forgot to give her her receipt. When i asked him for mine he gave me hers and mine.I told them so you mean to tell me that even though your cashier didn't give us the recipt you would still take our merchandise and it was his fault she couldn't find her receipt. Do you know that while they had us cornered like thieves someone could have actually been in another area stealing. This was a very very embarrising situation everyone was looking at us because of the amount of commotion it caused. Walmart must make sure that the cashiers are giving there receipts because if people are going to be harrassed for the merchandise that is not in the bags. Or make bags big enough to fit bigger items so we the paying consumers don't continue to be harrassed. This same Walmart store had a spill that morning and I don't know if they didn't have enough employees but we had to direct traffic so that no one would slip and sue the company. We couldn't find any associates the associates in the bakery and deli couldn't speak English or maybe didn't wanna move from there spot. So my sister walked around trying to get help while we made sure the spill was under control. Finally a employee came but he didn't even have a name tag and when i asked his name he hesitated. Why i don't know after I assured him I was going to complain and let walmart know that he helped me he said his name was Norman.Do I believe this store and employees are perfect No, however, this company makes way to much money to have these issues go unresolved. I am and have always been a walmart shopper however this experience has sort of changed the way i feel. I spend most of my hard earned dollars at Walmart and would just like to see this situation changed.

First thing is that I called the walmart store to find out what time the bill center closed to pay my utilities at, and the phone rang exactly 100 times, for the fact that I counted the rings. Someonce finally answered but could not answer my question and was put on hold. When my questioned was answered, I drive 15 miles to town to Wal-Mart to pay the bills. I arrived at the bill center where there was a sign that said to go to the service center. Went there and there was 4 people standing in a line and only one employee behind the counter. I walked up and asked the csm that was on duty and leaving the service desk area if this was the line to pay utility bills. She said yes. It was 7:45 at that time. By the time I got to the counter it was 8:20 and I was the only one wanting to pay a bill. She started the process, but couldn't figure it out, so she called Mesha to the counter again. Mesha got her started and walked away. Then after she got it processed it would not take a check, which it did not state anywhere that it had to big cash or debit and that there was a charge to process this. Nor did the employee or CSM say anything until they figured out why it would not go through. On the wall behind the counter it says The #1 priority of Wal-Mart is the cutomers Satisfaction, This was the farthest from that this evening. If you want to take over a service and provide it, then you should have the proper training for employees.Be able to provide the service in a timely manner and efficiency.

i did not want my money back i wanted a new item or a reason why this happen or i wanted my money back if i could or a new item i am out of a decoration and a bush in the front yard because of the outdoor timer that caught and shortened the decorations and caused a fire. i was ticked off made a scene and they wanted to call the cops on me i purchased other things like a spiral tree that was broken and they resold it they stock broken things and then restock them when people bring them back it is a resell thing it could be the most dangerous thing and they re sell it like it is ok . They treat people like morons like we are the ones that know things catch on fire or break . some people are dishonest and the ones that are honest they want to treat them like morons i think it is not right i think that walmart needs to sell better things not broken crap if i wanted broken crap i would go to a outlet store or something to buy it other wise what is the time or the patience to get broken things it is a waste and i have no time or the patience to shop if walmart is going to restock the shelves with broken crap.

We arrived at 4am to Walmart for the sales. I needed a Leapster for one child and a Vtech Handheld for the other one. The pallets were to be side by side in front of infant clothing. Once we made our way back to the isle we were unable to locate the pallet of Vtech handheld games. Since we were early I managed to locate an associate in the near vicinity. She stated that they did not get any Vtech Handhelds in for the sale and there would be none offered. She suggested going to Customer Service and getting a raincheck. I grabbed my leapster and checked at the CSR desk. The assistant manager clarified that the associate had told me bad information and they would not give rainchecks for the sale. I was very dissapointed, but now they are hard to find in stock anywhere. I am concerned now that I may not even find one. I told the store manager how dissapointed I was with the store and that next year when the sale comes around I would travel to another Walmart in another town rather than take a chance with them again. They really dropped the ball.

My boyfriend is an aspiring actor and he had an audition today. He didn't have time to get new professional headshots taken, so his Mom (who has a really nice Nikon D70 camera and is a real shutterbug) took some pictures for him near their home. He uploaded them to Wal-Mart's online photo ordering thing last night so he could have prints to take with him to his audition today.
Cut to today, when he goes to pick up his prints. THEY WON'T GIVE THEM TO HIM! They said that he didn't have permission from the photo studio to print them there. He points out that his Mom took the photos with her personal camera and he checked the box on the order form affirming that he had the rights to the pictures. They talk about how the photos must be professional due to the background and lighting. He points out that the background is a brick wall outside and the professional lighting is THE SUN. They still won't give him his photos. They even asked him if he had negatives (for his digital picture files)!!! He told the photo person that he really needed these photos today or he might not get to go in for his audition (it's a big no-no to not have a headshot in hand). She was not sympathetic at all and insisted she was just following the rules, but she is the one that makes the decision whether to give him the prints or not just by looking at them. You can bet that if he was picking up prints of us on the couch with our dog or something, there would be no questions asked at all, but just because of the way he posed and the fact that his Mom happens to have a nice camera, she decided NOT TO LET HIM PURCHASE!

They also advertised a number of Wii video games for $16. They only had a total of 12 games, and many of the titles advertised were not available. The manager said that was all they had received and that it was a Corporate Office issue - that they only get what Corporate Office sends them. This evening I went into Wal-Mart with a Target ad. Target had some movies on sale that I wanted to purchase as Christmas presents for my family. I got the movies took them to the checkout with the Target ad. The front end person called the manager to ask if it was alright. She came back with I have good news and bad news. Im allowed to price match for those movies but I'm not allowed to price match the Target ad because it's over 30 miles away. Well the nearest Target is 25.8 miles from our Wal-Mart. Wal-Mart has price matched Target ads before for me. So of course I asked to speak with the manager. At first he said there isn't a Target within 30 miles. Once I had my husband map-quest the nearest Target he then changed the story to we dont and wont price match Target.... then he changed his story again and said well if u want to come back tomorrow and ask the electronics department manager you can. I asked him how is that possible when the Target ad is over today. Not my problem I called the Wal-Mart customer service hotline. They were no help and gave me the district manager's name of Allen Otis with a phone number. I have had nothing but problems at this Wal-Mart. I was assulted by an employee 4 years ago and it took me a long time to go back. Just when I feel more comfortable going back to this store the rudeness still remains. I asked 4 different employee's what the manager's last name was and nobody could tell me. They only knew him as Marvin. Not one person including the manager could tell me the policy either. It has been advertised on television time and time again. This is false advertising. I asked the manager who they do a price match with and he said Kroger and thats our grocery store. This is unreal. I could understand it if the store I wanted them to price match was 50 miles away but it was 25 miles away. Less then a half hour. However you look at this its false advertising.
When a store advertises something they should have to stick to their end of the deal. And its a training issue when not one employee including the manager can tell you what the policy is. And a huge training issue when not one employee knows the manager's first and last name. Thank you,

The shipping charges for something twenty dollars if you wnat to order online and have it shiped are three times more example a $20. order costs $60 in shipping. If they had decent shipping for online orders and did not encourage in store pick up then people being trompled on and killed as on lack friday could be prevented. I am disabled and can't leave my home therefore I never can shop Walmart because of the shipping charges. I'm a large size Man - they used to carry a good line of clothes (pants and shirts) named George Foreman Comfort Zone, which fit well, held together well (I still have a pair of pants that is 3+ years old), and they were about $25 a pair - about three years ago. In the past year however a very CHEAP KNOCK-OFF VERSION has appeared and they fit poorly, marked sizes are often wrong, the seams split and pockets rip, zippers break after just a couple of uses, etc. It's very obvious to me that they are buying from foreign false copy clothing manufacturers and passing the crap onto it's unknowing consumers as the original brand - although the price has dropped by about a couple of dollars. George Foreman's Corporation should be made aware of these gross imitations. they are ruining his corporate name. I do buy Faded Glory shirts there, and they fit fine, they cost a couple of dollars more, but they are worth it. Sam Walton? Keep the Faded Glory, and bring back the old REAL George Foreman line and you'll be back in business in my book.

    Dear Customer Service Representative,
I am a returning customer to Wal-Mart around the world. I love the products and prices that Wal-Mart offers to us the customers. It does assist me in doing more for others. So thank you for those great prices. I love the idea of your door greeters, and offering a shopping cart (offered at some stores) all greeters have been very courteous and friendly. They make the shopping experience an impressive one. However, there is one problem that occurs about 2 out 3 times and I am not sure exactly what to do about it. When I arrive to my destination whether home, hotel or motor home invariably I am missing products that I have purchased. The baggage carousel is a great concept however, it is more problems than it is great Two months ago I purchased sewing items that I was using to make items for some under privileged friends, I didn’t have the time to sew immediately as I thought I would. Thirty-one (31) days later I was ready to sew and found that many of my sewing items I had purchased were not in the bag that I had put in my sewing room. I went to the Wal-Mart on Watt Ave. in Sacramento, CA where I live and was told that there is a 30 day policy to retrieve the forgotten or not received items, they explained that they only keep their logs for 30 days and since this was the 31st day that I was making my claim I was out of luck. I was out approximately $35. Of course this was very upsetting to me as I mentioned this happens to me 2 out of 3 times. I had to repurchase the needed items, as I did on that day. Other times when I noticed missing items I have gone back to the store soon thereafter, within a week or two, so I was not aware of the 30 day limitation to retrieve missing items. I am not in the position nor do I pass by the Wal-Mart often so I have to make a special trip to take care of any business. What prompts me to write this complaint today, I shopped at your Grove, Oklahoma Wal-Mart earlier today and have just noticed that I was charged for one extra can of fruit then I purchased and found that I am missing a one and only placemat that was on the shelf. This type of incident has occurred once too many times this is truly upsetting and disturbing to me. As I mentioned above I am not sure other then not shopping at Wal-Mart any longer what to do about this disturbing occurrence. Any suggestions from your customer service would be greatly appreciated. My suggestion would be to train employees to place all bags in the customers cart and not depend on the customer to ensure that all bags are in the cart. The customer is busy with either children, paying and getting things together for the departure so it would be very helpful for the cashier to ensure that all bags have been either placed in the customers cart or that all bags have been retrieved by the customer. Today’s incident means that I either forget about the $1.00 place mat and $1.00 over charge or take the ½ hr. to return to the store and make it right. Thank You, RoseMerida Lucero PO Box 60486

She looked at me and saw that I was waiting, and then instructed her son to stand there in the way and collect the bits of trash that someone had left in the cart (obviously to deliberately make the rest of us wait longer). I said to her son, "excuse, may I get past you?" The the woman loudly accused me of "giving her son a hard time". I chose to ignore her and go around them to try to get a shopping cart when she physically shoved me into the line of carts. I immediately went to the nearest Walmart employee (who I was later told was the manager) to ask him to please contact security since I was assaulted upon entry to the store. He responded with "how do I know it really happended?" and that he wasn't the person I should be talking to. When I asked him who I should be talking to, he refused to tell me and proceeded to shush me while the woman who assaulted me kept on yelling at me. I told him he was useless and decided to just leave. But as I'm walking away from him, HE TOO was yelling at me! I went to the Customer Service desk to complain about that employee, which is when I found out he was the manager - so I simply gave up. I want everyone to know that it is not safe to shop at Walmart. No wonder there is an article every year in the paper about a violent act at a Walmart store. The internet is loaded with items about how Walmart is a 'partner against domestic violence' but there are even more articles about the public violence at the Walmart stores! At this center I was told that NEW the insurance agent for walmart does not covered liquid damange and corroison. I indicated that my product warranty clearly states that damage due to humidity is covered. It is quite obvious that humidity could have caused damage on my laptop. I just find it unbelievable at the complaints people are making on the return policy at walmart. NO, I do not and have never worked for Wal- Mart. But some of this stuff is just plain common sense. I've read a couple of complaints of how the return process for some was horrible, bad, poor and how you will never shop there. I mean is it just me or is this stuff common sense. Someone wrote they tried to return a diabetic supply of some sort back to the pharmacy! That is plain stupid! I am happy for safety of others that they do not accept returns at the pharmacy! I do not trust anyone! Period! and you should not either! I have absolutely no idea what you did with the product once you left the store and no idea of what was touched or not and germs etc. Come on! I would be pissed if I found out I was using a needle or any diabetic supply that was returned by god-knows who, doing god-knows what! Hello!!!!! Next, some dude says he brought some chairs or dining set that cost $500 and he just left it behind because he brought it back to the store with no package etc. Hello! He said he thought it was leather but it was pleather. ok so this is just where my lodic kicks in. I come home, open the package, examine the first chair, its not leather! OMG! What do I do? Hmmm... obviously I would place it back into the box and leave the stinkin thing in the corner somewhere until I am ready to take it back. Look at the reciept for the timeframe for the returns. And just take it back immediately because $500 isn't something I would chance on loosing. To me it's like when does your part as a human being with some type of brain come in? Its like la la la la la I do what I WANT and anything goes. No rules for me I would even expect this type of ignorancce from teens but not grown adults! Im sure EVERYONE who has ever purchased something in the USA knows that there is usually a 14 day return period for items and to ALWAYS return items in their ORIGINAL packaging! The stores do their parts to have new merchandise and sometimes are nice enough to have exceptions but come on people lets do our part and use that other side of our brains too!!!

    Sirs,
I just returned home from shopping for a Thanksgiving Turkey & associated items from the Griffin, WALMART. I purchased 5 bags of groceries totaling $54.19. All the item were placed in bags by the Cashier that checked me out. Upon leaving the store I was stopped against my will (I am disabled & have a hard time walking/spending extended time on my feet) & asked for my receipt by two young Black women in WALMART's employee. In that all of my items were in bags I didn't think that it was WALMART's policy to receipt check/inventory departing customers for bagged items? The woman demanding my receipt was forceful & rude. I presented her with my receipt (Receipt #3769-0168324855367447 Validation F7FD Payment Service -E) and she checked my items & let me pass. I got the feeling that she stopped me to show off to the other employee standing with her & that the reason I was stopped is because I am White. The reason I feel this way is that I did not see her stop any Black Patrons Departing the store. I am 57 years old, retired military & a disabled veteran. I take offense to being singled out because of my race & think that WALMART has a problem here that needs to be looked into before it legally blows up in WALMART's face. I thought that it was WALMART's policy to only check patrons departing WALMART with items not in bags. I was extremely offended by this tonight & wish that WALMART would look into this because if it happens to me again I am going to obtain a lawyer pursue legal action. Sincerely, Louis C. There was no line up and no one waiting behind me. I walked up to the till with the gift cards and asked to have $50 put on each of the cards. She asked me how I was going to pay for them. I thought it was an odd question and blurted out cash. Then she said, I can't do it. I thought she wouldn't do it because she thought I wasn't capable of paying for them plus the merchandise in my cart. I threw down the gift card envelopes on the counter with disguist. Then she said the machine is broke down. I replied I didn't hear you say that. Then she said, I don't like your attitude. I kind of rolled my eyes, and proceeded to empty my cart. Then she said I don't like your attitude. I said, you've made that clear, leave it alone. I started saying, I'm sorry and she cut me off and said I can refuse to serve you. It was like she was picking a fight. I was shocked at her attitude and left. I have been on this earth for 48 years and have never been refused service. I have been in the service industry for over 30 years as an employee and business owner; and have never been treated with such disrespect. Everyone I tell this story to, tells me I should've talked to the manager. What good is that going to do? I'm just a little dot and no one would believe me anyway, except for the people who know me. I know I will never go there alone again and I've decided to give my kids cash instead of gift cards and advise them not to go to that store.

So after waiting quite a bit for my turn, I told the woman I did not have the receipt for the merchandise. She scanned it and a price did come up of $14.97.... She said it was not from their store and she would not return it. I told her I bought it there and to try to scan the 2nd pic.frame. She said the scan #'s were the same. The paper in the frame says WALMART...
She said I must have gotten it from a Super Store and not the Hermantown Location so she would not take it back. I told her she was not to helpful., beside being very rude to me about the line, as well as (3) other patrons that did the same thing as me., This is always how they have run returns .... I will now try to run to the nearest local Walmart Super Store to see if I have any better luck returning these frames. With a scanned price that came up on the register, I do not know why they would not return these items... To me this person at the service desk was very rude not only to me but the others in line too! After one of the employees walked away, the other continued to complain to a third employee, in a very loud voice. I really wanted the material so I stood and waited until it was cut and handed to me. Then I was in the line waiting to check out when the cashier hit the button to call for help with a customer that didn't have ID and was writing a check. Because all the other lines were so long I waited. Then it became obvious that it would be awhile so I moved to another line. After 5-6 minutes this cashier turned the blinking light back to on and I started to move back to her line. 3 other people were quicker and when I made it to the line, the cashier told me she wouldn't take anyone after the woman in front of me. The next day I decide to open some hash for lunch and when I did I sliced my finger. I think this product should be taken off the market or changed. This product cuts the cans on the side instead of the top. This in turn makes the top sides of the can very sharp. I'm 54 years old and have opened alot of cans in my day and I have not seen a canopener so dangerous. If a child were to stick their hand into a can after it being cut with this canopener it could easily cut there wrist because of a childs arm being shorter. I know I would not allow my grandchildern to use this product. After this canopener opens the can the top sides are so sharp its like a razor blade.

I went into Walmart around 11:30am on 11/16/08 to shop. I was in a hurry when I left the house so I just put on anything (old sweat pant & husband's too big sweat jacket, a head scarf and a knit hat on my head). With me being a ** female, I supposed I looked like a "lesser" individual to some people. Anyway, I took a cart and entered the dairy area of the store to purchase some Yoplait yogurt. As I approached the dairy case, a man who appeared to be a store manager, dressed in a pair of dress slacks, shirt possibly a tie, was stocking the refrigerated case with more yogurt. He had the glass door to the case open wide which left very little room for other to get by.

With him to my immediate right, I moved my cart as far left as I could in aisle, so others could get by. This only left about 12-18 inches of space for the other customers, but JOE had that door open in such a way that no one could pass him. I waited about 10-12 minutes, quietly & patiently, for the guy stocking to finish. He NEVER once turned to see if he was blocking others; he ignored the "grunts" and "hisses" of customers as they had to twist and turn to get past him; and the customers were starting to "glare" at me, as to why I would be waiting and not moving my cart.

At this point, another Walmart employee came over to talk to "JOE" and it was she who called his name and they began to talk. He still had the freezer open, he made eye contact w/ me and she saw me waiting there, yet...he turned to back and started to talk to this associate all while he had the freezer door still open. I walked towards him and said, "Excuse me, I need to get some of that yogurt." He then looked at me, visually scanned me from "head to toe" and said, "Yo, you wait a minute!!"

At this point, I said, "What?" and moved past him, got my yogurt, looked him in the eyes and said, "You've got to be kidding me. These people in this store are looking at me like I'm crazy and you are paying games." At this point, I immediately left the aisle, got the other few items I needed and left that store. I was so offended, I left. This "manager" treated me as I was a nothing, based "solely" on his visual inspection, which he did right before he was discourteous to me. I was so very upset. I went home upset and told my husband what happened, and he suggested that I voice what happened to a manager. I did.

I called the store and spoke with "Mike" the manager and told him what happened to me, how I felt, and how I was offended because I know that Walmart is a highly diverse organization and I know that they are quite sensitive to their customers. He apologized to me for what happened and said he would speak with JOE about what happened. I expressed to him how offended I was with what happened to me for it was not only hurtful and angering, but the store and aisle was quite crowded, so this was a PUBLIC action which is even more embarrassing. This MIKE said he would give me a $10 gift certificate for my trouble and that I could in and get that at anytime. I told him, "You've got to be kidding me. I don't need a $10 gift certificate" and how could he even suggest that what happened to me would be made better that way.

I am very, very upset behind not only what happened to me but also by my feelings being minimized to a "$10.00 gift card". My civil rights as a person were violated so casually by this manager with obvious lasting emotional scars on my person. I feel victimized and that this "manager" is allowed to have done that to me in "2008" and that my feelings don't matter. I shop at that store quite often for it is only about a mile from where I live. I don't cause problems there. I shop and go home. I did not got to the store that morning to be hurt and offended...I went there to buy what I needed and go home. Now, I am now not only angry about what happened but I am left to have this negative, unnecessary, ignorant and stereotypically-based treatment of me to leave its horrible mental poison to have me feel harassed & devalued as a person. This should NEVER have happened to me. And it should NEVER happen to anyone else either.

First I spend approx. $250 per week at our local Wal-Mart. I live very close and found it although not friendly, very convenient. I have occasionally returned items, but not on a regular basis until we started to redo our home and was purchasing things like towels, rugs, etc. and sometimes some clothes. I would get home and unload groceries and purchases and find that they weren't the right color, etc. I would then return them with or without the receipt no late than a couple of days. They would always be able to pull up the transaction with the UPC code and the first 3 times were no problem. The fourth time I was returning a sweater that was a birthday gift and found that I could not only NOT return it, but I could not even exchange it!! It seems someone just forgot to tell the customer that after 3 returns without a receipt you just can't return anything any more for something like 6 months. What genius came up with that policy? They said it was to try and control theft and returns. Now, let me get this straight..Wal-mart is going to punish their loyal customers because they have a crappy security system. I have been in a client based business for 30 years and if I would treat my good clients like this I wouldn't have any. I know that Wal-mart could care less about their customers, but I have been truly insulted. I had the honor and privilege to meet Sam Walton in 1970 as we had very dear friends that moved with Wal-Mart in the 60's when they were just getting started. Mr. Walton was a kind and simple gentleman that cared about the small towns and the people. He trusted the customer and built an empire on that trust. Now it's just the bottom line. What a shame. They've sure made me a non believer and Wal-Mart's loss was just yesterday Target's gain. They treated me like a good customer. Thanks Target!

He got the form on Veterans Day at 10:15am. Dmv isnt open on holidays. The next am he was at DMV at 8am and after all was said and done he was told his picture ID would be mailed within 2 weeks. When I called Carla she offered to call Seacoast Redi Care to be sure they were open on Veterans Day. Again not very helpful as DMV was not. But she made an effort. I was told by Carla that there are no exceptions to the rules and good luck to you. On 11/14 I spoke with store manager Yvette Reed who said basically the same things Carla did except she added that it is not there job to know dmv policies for other states. Maine is a bordering state and I believe they should at least be aware that it is not that easy to just get an ID. I have visited this location numerous times, and the pricing that is displayed is always at least $5.00 less than what it scans. On occasions I have purchased multiple items and did not catch the price difference until I returned home to carefully review my receipt, then notice the price difference. When I return to the location,or contact by phone, I receive a too bad response. I have even been told that something was placed in the wrong location (with incorrect, much less pricing), because it was not enough room in the correct area. On another occasion, I was told that I should have compared the micro sized numbers on the tag to the micro sized numbers on the box to determine if the price was correct. As a consumer, I should not have to do that. Items should be placed in the correct spot, with correct pricing. Tonight, I visited this same store, and was told that something that had a display price of $9.97 was $20.00. When I asked why the display showed $9.97, the sales associate removed the price and walked away. When I addressed the issue with a supervisor, who in turn asked the sales representative if she saw the pricing in front of the item for $9.97 she said yes, but it should not have been there. He asked her were the sign was, and she took him to a TRASH CAN and gave him a sticker. How am I to know that what she gave him is what was on the display. Why trash it, if it belonged somewhere else. As I was leaving the store, another customer was requesting a manager for the same issue for a different product. I feel that this location needs to be investigated, because hundreds of customers visit this location daily, and are being practically ripped off by the difference in pricing. So many people, such as myself expect what we see on the display is what we are going to pay.

On 10/31/08 I placed six pasta sauce jars into my cart taking special notice to the $1.50 shelf price. Upon checkout at the self-check out, all six of the pasta sauce rang up as $1.78. I was in hurry to leave that morning and did not contact a manager to alert him/her to this matter. This has happened to me on several occasions at Wal Mart. The most recent price discrepancy prior to the above mentioned was concerning mouthwash. The pricing for a display of mouthwash in the center isle for a particular brand, type, and size was different (less than) than the identical mouthwash in the hygiene isle. I scanned the mouthwash from both the hygiene isle and center display and the price reflected the higher price. I used my iPhone camera to take a picture of the center display pricing. At checkout I immediately asked for a supervisor and brought it to their attention. I did get the mouthwash for the lower price but it took an extra 15 minutes for the situation to get resolved. I did not have the extra time on my more recent shopping trip for pasta sauce. I can recall several incidents like this and I am frustrated by the whole process. Wal Mart should be held accountable in some manner!

He made me wait until a front end manager came to his register to open the register (of which s/he never showed up). I will never give out my social security no. to a complete stranger over the phone and Wal-Mart should not be subjecting their customers to a scam card that asks them to do so. I not only want my $28.00 back, I want an explanation as to why Wal-Mart is using this scam on their customers. People who shop and believe in them are being put at risk for identity theft. As big as Wal-Mart is do they really need to scam for more money? Good luck getting someone at Wal-Mart to help. PS. On 10/13/08, I went to the Walmart Store on Foothill Blvd in Upland CA to purchase a Braun "Professional" electric toothbrush. I found one the shelf, an "Oral-B Triumph with SmartGuide TM"; but when I looked for extra toothbrushes matching this brush, I noticed there were none;so I inquired of clerk (Tamara or Tamra was her name I think) if she knew why there were no brushes for this model? She said, "No, I know there were several brushes there on the shelf last week." She professed amazement they were all gone now. I said "well its kind of expensive" (the
shelf tag read "Oral B Triumph 1EA $129.88") but I really want this product. Then I spotted a warning on the electric toothbrush box: "unit for Professional Trial only Not for Sale or Distribution". I asked Tamara how Walmart could be offering a product for sale when it was clearly marked "Not for Sale or Distribution"? She said she didn't know; but opined "Probably someone brought it back and it was accepted." I decided to inquire about this from the Store Manager. But one of the two Cust Service Desk clerks (at the front of the store) said, "He isn't in." I asked, "When will he be back?" I was told, "He isn't in all day". When I asked to whom I might speak, the Walmart Cust Service lady said,"You could speak to one of the two Assistant Store Managers". I said I'd like to do that; so they called a "Nadine Brooke, Asst Mgr" (I read later on her name tag); but Ms Brooke told the Cust Service lady, "I'm busy in the back and it will be at least (and probably more than that) five minutes before I can get up there." I said, "I will wait as long as it takes." The Cust Service Clerk relayed that information to Ms Brooke (and again later when she recalled her to say I was "still waiting".) I waited for slightly over one hour until Ms Brooke finally appeared! Meanwhile, I found a Braun Cust Support 800# listed on the Braun electric toothbrush box which I called using my cell phone from the store while waiting at the Cust Service Desk. I reported to Braun Cust Service person, Sharon, (i.d. #7728603 at 4:04 PM CST) that I was holding a box clearly marked "Unit for Professional Trial Only Not for Sale or Distribution" and that I had just noticed that part of the top of the box flap had been torn off, then the product had been resealed with clear tape. I asked "How can Walmart be offering a Braun product which is marked "Unit for Professional Trial only, not for Sale or Distribution"? She said that it was illegal once this box was opened it to sell it(for health reasons) and further that she had no idea how Walmart could have gotten that product on its shelf. She gave me a Customer contact i.d. # 6627603 so I would have a verification of our call. I explained to that the store tag showed a price of $129.88 with a UPC code: 069055848128. Finally Asst Store Mgr, Nadine Brook, showed up. She had apparently already been briefed about the problem. She said, "Well that product won't scan so you can't buy it!" I asked her to go ahead and scan it anyway which they did. And she was right. It didn't scan. So I decided to go back to the shelf where I'd found the tag marked Oral B Triump $129.88 and I removed the tag (so I could verify the UPC code of the product). At this point, the original store clerk (Tamra) approached me, very upset and demanded "What did you do with the tag?" "Give it back." She raised her voice and made threatening moves toward me, demandiing the store tag. I asked her, "Are you going to assualt me?" At that point, she backed off and I quickly left the store.

They never seem to want to help and are usually rude and seem to not care if they are providing good customer service or not. When customers have questions it's nice if the attendant at least acts like they want to help. This store apparently does not stress good customer service. In this day and time it would seem that employees would be glad to have jobs. This store is the worst I've been in. We travel frequently to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and I frequent most of the Walmart stores there. The people there are friendly, courteous and, for the most part, seem very willing to help. Obviously the Management of these stores is doing something right. I have made a complaint to the Midlothian Store (Walmart Way) Manager before and he could care less. My complaint today is not specific but general in nature. We are waiting for a Walmart to come to Powhatan, Va. This weekend we went down to shop and the same thing at 10:30 am. I called and spoke with acting manager Mike who stated there was no reason for them to be locked. I agree, we and a lot of older people like to take the shortest walking distance to the store and enter thru the garden center where we also shop.

I average approx., anywhere from 300 to 500 per week at this store in food and other items. We use to shop at Krogers for our food items and found better deals at your store, but if this keeps up we will cease to buy anything there. My wife has a credit card there under the name of Margette **, same address, but I pay the bills so I will be the one who says where our money goes. If you think I'd like you to check her account plus what all the cash and checks we write there. I have a close friend who works for you by the name of Carol ** who lives across the street from us, so if there is questions as to my complaint, asked her. She will tell you I shoot straight from the hip and pull no punches as to what I have stated.

A week ago I jumped the store manager (woman, no name) and said I was checking out thru that department and leaving thru that door and she checked me out and let me out that door, but turned around and locked the damn door right behind me with other customers trying to get in. Now if this is the way you like to retain customers this is up to you.

A couple yrs ago Walmart Special Kitty Littler changed to a new bag look. The original was in a bright red bad w/ grey litter, the new was a dull red.... but THIS litter was white dust!!!!! I complained and returned all I'd purchased. I say that to say this: Not long ago Special Kitty changed their Special Kitty brand LIKE PURINA... It came in a blue shiny bag... to a light blue bag... 'a new look'. I have learned these new 'looks' also mean SOMETHING INSIDE HAS CHANGED. One of my cats started getting diarrhea, first runny and almost black w/ blood, then it changed to pancake batter color and consistency. The vet tried everything... After the ENTIRE summer, he said I should try special food, that perhaps he was reacting to the dry cat food... And sure enough, the problem was this NEW 'PURINA LIKE' SPECIAL KITTY DRY FOOD!!!!! I almost lost the boy... So be alert... Any change in the outward, means change on the inside!

Now, Oct. 2008, my tv isn't working again and although I bought the extended warranty they are trying to tell me the repairs aren't covered because the bulbs are a consumable item. I read the new brochures in the store and it does say this, but I specifically asked the employee inside Wal-Mart before I purchased the tv. He told me everything including the bulbs were covered throughout the extended warranty. I explained this to the manager at the Galesburg store and he said it didn't matter what he said that's not the policy. So it is up to me to pay for the repairs.

I purchase Pepsi Products approx. 10-12 Bottles weekly. On the 14th of Oct. I bought Pepsi at Walmart. After opening to have some with dinner, we realized that it tasted as if there was a chemical added to it. We poured the two glasses out, noticed that it almost exploded in our sink. I took the remainder of the bottle to Walmart where it was purchased to make them aware of it, as I did not want other people to get ill or worse. There is no one else in our household who could have added something as only my husband and I live in our home.

Walmart treated me like a moron, kept asking if I want money back. I replied no, just wanted them to be aware as the same Pepsi lot was still on their floor. The reply from them was, Hhm the Pepsi man just left we will show him this bottle next week. I know that it was thrown in the trash after I left. (That is what I assume). They could not be bothered, as the manager seemed to be in a big hurry to attend to something else. Do these people have conscience at all, or is it really mental impairment and they cannot help themselves. Should Walmart employees not be trained better in how to respond to a potentially serious situation??

They in turn about 2 months later sent us an older CD player that did not work, and was not the same value as the first. I had made several phone calls to the company regarding the problem & left messages with the manager. Half the time the people on the phone would hang up on me & the manager has never once called me back. I told them that this is a fitness gym that needs music to play all day. We have had to borrow one from a member for the time, but they need it back. We paid good money for a CD player in May, & have only had one for a couple of months.

Venturer still refuses to call me back & said that we could be waiting in to next year before we receive a CD player. I find this extremely unacceptable & unprofessional. I have never had such terrible customer service & unsatisfaction with a company in my life. I will never buy a RCA product in my life, & I will never buy a product from Walmart again. I hope that you will be able to help us with this problem. If they will not send us a new CD player I wish that they would send us the money or credit at a store to purchase another one. I need a CD player for my business asap. All of my members know about this situation & have vowed to never buy a RCA product anymore. We had purchased item #RS2653 after 60 days the CD player shorted out.

I doubt very much if this will help but I have to put in my 2 cents! I in the past worked for you and loved it! Now in the past years, way too much has changed and not for the best either! First you did away with Lay-a-way. That helped so many people in our area and remember we are the ones that made Walmart!! Second of all, you have done away with all the music and with Christmas coming, how awful to shop and have no Christmas music to help put us in the mood to spend money. Oh well, it is your loss. That's why we DON'T shop Target because it is too boring! Third, you have done away with all the sewing and yarn and crafts. WHAT ARE YOU THINKING?? And now we hear that Sporting Goods is on the way out! AGAIN, WHAT ARE YOU THINKING?? Fourth, I have heard that you're going to automatic phone system and we will be talking to a computer like at Meyers.

Folks, all I can say is that you are digging your own grave. Soon Walmart will be just a thing of the past and you will have NO ONE to blame but the big shots that are making some of the dumbest decisions I have ever heard. I suggest that you re-think some of these ideas. You truly are going and have already lost many of your customers that have helped build and keep Walmart what it was. And while I am at it, please stop buying so much China-made stuff and start helping the USA! This is a serious matter. Everything I have written has been the talk of our town and I'm telling you if you're as smart as you think you are, you will start giving back to us and stop taking away!! We the people are Walmart but we can just as easily become any other chain store. I hope this is taken as serious as it is written!! Think!!! Before it is too late! I wonder if you don't want to fail????

I was at Wal-Mart shopping with my children today as I put my infant in the carrier in the seat part of the shopping cart. To my surprise, as I was shopping, my baby flipped back in the car seat and into the buggy. Thank God that she was strapped into her car seat, and thank God that the cart was full of groceries. If it wasn't full, she would have fallen backwards in the carrier into the shopping cart. This is clearly a safety hazard and there needs to be signs posted around the cart storage area to make people aware of this hazard.

I spoke with the manager and expressed my concern and she told me that it may be a defect with my car seat and that I should contact the Graco company. I told her that there should be signs posted by the shopping cart retrieval to be aware of this safety hazard. She said that she would talk to her safety guy about this. Also I was upset when she told me that there are only 3 shopping carts with infant seats that are attached to them out of the whole super center store. I feel that Wal-Mart does not accommodate mothers with infants. If I can't put my baby in the infant carrier in the shopping cart and there are not enough carts with the carriers attached to them, how am I supposed to shop when I have my infant with me? I cannot afford to pay child care every time I need to go grocery shopping! I really don't know where to go from here but it needs to be known that this can happen and is a very, very dangerous safety hazard.

My Dell Laptop had broken and would be more trouble than it was worth to get it repaired. I went to Walmart to purchase a new one on October 7, 2008. Since I trusted Dell, I wanted to stay with that Brand. The sales associate was very helpful. I saw a display one that I really liked. The associate (Andrew) went to the back to get me a new one $898.00. I purchased the 2 service plan. My total was $1,051.76. I was on my lunch so I put the laptop in my trunk and went back to work. About 3 hours later, I was talking about my new purchase and saying that I wish it had Windows XP and not Vista. My IT guy says, "Go get your laptop and I will install it for you." I get it out the trunk, bring it in. We open it and it's a Toshiba laptop in the box. I tried to call the store but got no answer.

I drove up there immediately and went to customer service. The girl at the desk called someone from electronics and the first thing he said was this was a inside job. He asked if I wanted my money back. I said no, I would like the item that I purchased. He told me to give him a second and he would get me a new one. I waited about 20 minutes for him to return when a woman comes up to me and says, "We're not taking that back because we don't sell that model." I said, "Well, this is what you sold me." She says, "Well, there is nothing we can do."

I start to cry and say, "I don't understand. This is what you sold me." I say to them, "I'm going to call the cops and take out a report," so they tell me to wait, they would get another manager. The manager (Vern) comes up and says, "We are not taking this back." I say, "I spent almost $1100.00 and I have to take this used laptop home." He says yes. I leave the store, call the district manager and leave a message. I then called the corporate store and filed a complaint. The next day, I get a call saying they looked at their security cameras and none of their employees touched the box and that maybe it came from Dell like that. I called my credit card company to start a dispute so now I am just waiting. I spent $1100.00 and don't even have a working computer.

I thought everything was a go until I got my email saying that the order was going to my sister's house, who resides in NJ. I usually get my nephew's gifts from walmart.com so that is the only conceivable way I can fathom why that address was listed as the default and not the BILLING address.

I called customer service at 10:22AM to have Randy tell me once the order has been placed nothing can be done to it unless it's returned. He said that he can do an 'intent to cancel' and those results won't be known until 2 business days. I cannot understand how an address cannot be modified on an order. The shipping label hasn't even been printed yet. Every problem I've always had has always resulted in them pinning their lack of assistance on the 'Fulfillment Department.' Yes, the prices are reasonable but I'm positive I've done regular-priced work just to be unsatisfied. I'm done with them they're unbending well, I just can't afford it.

First off, I try to avoid Walmart as much as possible because of the lack of customer service. I can usually navigate and find what I need faster than it takes to track down an employee to help me. So this morning, I was feeling optimistic and I saw a TV stand online that I wanted and decided to go straight to the location and see if they had it. I picked up a few household things and went to look at the TV stands. I found what I needed but it was heavier than I could lift. There were three employees standing talking to one another with no customers around in the film department. They could see me standing there and offered no help. I approached them to ask what procedure was, i.e., did I need to prepay and then come back to have someone load it in my car or did I need to have someone come get it and take it to the front etc.

I was informed that they would have to call someone to come and get it for me. I want to say that not one of them smiled or said, "Hey, how are you, what can I help you with", etc. I was a definite interruption to their conversation. I went back over to the TV stands to wait. After waiting 10 minutes (still in plain sight of the three nonworking employees), I finally went back and told them that I was waiting and no one is coming. So the male employee asks me what I needed and I showed him which TV stand I wanted and he walks over to see how heavy it is. Then says he'll be right back. He comes over with a shopping cart, loads it up and I then have to ask him if I can check out at the register he's at. Yeah. That was pretty much the only thing he said to me the entire transaction. I helped myself out to the car.

It's so sad that we have gotten to the point that we are willing to accept this as customer service and not complain to the people in charge. Today is the day that I quit accepting this as the norm. I'm tired of going into an establishment that I have to engage the customer service people by asking them how they are or smiling at them before they ever acknowledge my presence. After all, don't they want MY money? Why should I be treated like dirt and an interruption by people who are getting paid to help the customer? If you don't like your job... QUIT, find another one.

Walmart and other employers, you need to have higher standards and lift your employees up to that. Examples like this however small are part of the problem with why this country is circling the drain. We'll complain about customer service, our schools, our government, etc to our friends and family but we don't do anything about it which means we are part of the problem. I've decided to let manager and employers know about lousy experience and on the flip side I want to report on my good experiences as well.

I would like to bring this to the attention of someone who can help. A lot of people shop at Walmart stores and are oblivious to the truck drivers who bring those goods to that store. While so many drivers on the road need supplies and food to save money, we also require parking on the lot at times. Well while we were in McPherson, Kansas, we parked at the local Walmart to do some shopping. While we sat in their parking lot, two gentlemen approached the driveway carrying shovels and put up a no semi-truck parking allowed - will be towed at owner's expense.

This is not right. RVs can camp out in their lot, yet trucks cannot even park. Aren't truck drivers people too? Don't we deserve to eat too? I just want people to realize this is going on everywhere, and I feel it needs to stop. I think that if the general public started complaining to their local stores about the trucks not being able to park, to buy the things that they deliver in the first place, maybe things would change out here for all the truck drivers in this country. After all, isn't it a free country. Thanks in advance for your support.

Ok, women want to look their best so when you ask the person a question in that department you don’t, as a woman, want to ask a man who looks like he just crawled out from under a car. Who has no idea what kind of make up you’re talking about. This is a department, i am sorry, where a woman needs to be. Women don’t feel comfortable going up and asking a dirty-looking man “What do you think about this product?” I asked a question, he just looked lost. That is a department women should be working in. When I ask about lip plumpers i don’t expect the person to laugh and say “I don’t know what that is.” What kind of person would send someone to a department that’s about beauty and cleanliness who doesn’t know himself? Does not belong there, he was out of place and had no idea about the products that people needed help with. Like i said i love your store. I know you do your best to help the customer. I am handicapped and cannot get out every day to come and go with any ease like the non-handicapped people can. Why is this service being taken away from Walmart's customers? While the film is being developed, we are shopping, and thusly spending money at that Walmart store!! THIS WOULD SEEM TO ME TO BE A "WIN-WIN SITUATION!"
