    Dear Customer Service Representative,
I am a returning customer to Wal-Mart around the world. I love the products and prices that Wal-Mart offers to us the customers. It does assist me in doing more for others. So thank you for those great prices. I love the idea of your door greeters, and offering a shopping cart (offered at some stores) all greeters have been very courteous and friendly. They make the shopping experience an impressive one. However, there is one problem that occurs about 2 out 3 times and I am not sure exactly what to do about it. When I arrive to my destination whether home, hotel or motor home invariably I am missing products that I have purchased. The baggage carousel is a great concept however, it is more problems than it is great Two months ago I purchased sewing items that I was using to make items for some under privileged friends, I didn’t have the time to sew immediately as I thought I would. Thirty-one (31) days later I was ready to sew and found that many of my sewing items I had purchased were not in the bag that I had put in my sewing room. I went to the Wal-Mart on Watt Ave. in Sacramento, CA where I live and was told that there is a 30 day policy to retrieve the forgotten or not received items, they explained that they only keep their logs for 30 days and since this was the 31st day that I was making my claim I was out of luck. I was out approximately $35. Of course this was very upsetting to me as I mentioned this happens to me 2 out of 3 times. I had to repurchase the needed items, as I did on that day. Other times when I noticed missing items I have gone back to the store soon thereafter, within a week or two, so I was not aware of the 30 day limitation to retrieve missing items. I am not in the position nor do I pass by the Wal-Mart often so I have to make a special trip to take care of any business. What prompts me to write this complaint today, I shopped at your Grove, Oklahoma Wal-Mart earlier today and have just noticed that I was charged for one extra can of fruit then I purchased and found that I am missing a one and only placemat that was on the shelf. This type of incident has occurred once too many times this is truly upsetting and disturbing to me. As I mentioned above I am not sure other then not shopping at Wal-Mart any longer what to do about this disturbing occurrence. Any suggestions from your customer service would be greatly appreciated. My suggestion would be to train employees to place all bags in the customers cart and not depend on the customer to ensure that all bags are in the cart. The customer is busy with either children, paying and getting things together for the departure so it would be very helpful for the cashier to ensure that all bags have been either placed in the customers cart or that all bags have been retrieved by the customer. Today’s incident means that I either forget about the $1.00 place mat and $1.00 over charge or take the ½ hr. to return to the store and make it right. Thank You, RoseMerida Lucero PO Box 60486

On Saturday, November 22,2008 in the morning I went to Wal-mart to buy a Nintendo Wii. I asked if they had any Nintendo Wii in stock, as they were not out on the shelves (I wanted to purchase 2 for Xmas gifts). Marie in electronics went to check and came back and said she could not sell them to me, they were for the blitz the day after Thanksgiving. I went to customer service and complained they would not sell me one, he got the electronics manager on the phone and he said she never should have told me they had them but they were for the day after Thanksgiving ad and he said they were not logged into the computer so he would not sell me one. I am currently trying to get in touch with the District Manager to file a formal complaint. Also, this was the second Wal-mart I went to, the first one the sales associate hesitated and then said no, they did not have any. I ended up going to Best Buy and spending over $600. They had no problem taking my money. My question: Is it legal for them to withhold merchandise like they did, or was I discriminated against? I drove 45 miles, expecting that if Wal-mart had one I could purchase one.

On Sunday, 11/23/08, I entered the Walmart store in Mays Landing, NJ and proceeded to obtain a shopping cart. Another customer was just ahead of me with her son getting a cart. She pulled out a cart and then stood there going through her purse for quite a while, holding up those of us waiting to get past her to get a cart. She looked at me and saw that I was waiting, and then instructed her son to stand there in the way and collect the bits of trash that someone had left in the cart (obviously to deliberately make the rest of us wait longer). I said to her son, "excuse, may I get past you?" The the woman loudly accused me of "giving her son a hard time". I chose to ignore her and go around them to try to get a shopping cart when she physically shoved me into the line of carts. I immediately went to the nearest Walmart employee (who I was later told was the manager) to ask him to please contact security since I was assaulted upon entry to the store. He responded with "how do I know it really happended?" and that he wasn't the person I should be talking to. When I asked him who I should be talking to, he refused to tell me and proceeded to shush me while the woman who assaulted me kept on yelling at me. I told him he was useless and decided to just leave. But as I'm walking away from him, HE TOO was yelling at me! I went to the Customer Service desk to complain about that employee, which is when I found out he was the manager - so I simply gave up. I want everyone to know that it is not safe to shop at Walmart. No wonder there is an article every year in the paper about a violent act at a Walmart store. The internet is loaded with items about how Walmart is a 'partner against domestic violence' but there are even more articles about the public violence at the Walmart stores! I will no longer spend thousands of dollars per year at Walmart.

The clerk in the store told me to park my car in front of the store so I could load a fireplace into my car, the sec. guard was very nasty and said we should know better, I told him the clerk said it was okay. He said they should know better. We spend a lot of money at Walmart. My point is, can they not all be on the same page. It's called a little respect, we do pay his wages.Thank you.

I have a 7 month old Chihuahua, and unfortunately I cant leave him home by himself yet, or in the car. I bought a doggie purse at Wal-Mart thinking I would be able to take him with me into Wal-Mart. I walked around for a good hour, and was given a few dirty looks. I finally purchased my items and wasnt approached until the cashier told me that he was a liability and I cant bring him with me next time. I think kids are more of a liability then a puppy on a leash in a doggie purse. There is nothing on the door walking in saying there are no pets allowed, and I think a floor manager should have approached me immediately. I would like a copy of the policy on pets, just so I can see the information for myself.

I bought a Tinkerbell DVD for my daughter's birthday. It was fully shrink wrapped around the box. We opened the shrink wrap and went to open the box and found the tape at the top of the plastic box was already sliced open and the DVD wasn't in there. I take it they are having issues with employee theft at this store and have the capabilities to re-shrink wrap the boxes - all at the cost and loss to the consumer. Merry Christmas to whichever scumbag employee stole it. Be sure to let your kids know Santa brought it because you sure didn't pay for it. I hope karma finds you someday and steals both your hard-earned money and you get to be the one to see the disappointed look on your child's face when she finds nothing inside her present.

This was not only an insult but a slap in the face because my son witness all of this. I ask them several time to let me see the evidence(tape) that he claimed he had. He said he would but never did. When the policelady got there she ask the same thing this time he told her he didn't have anything so again this so called security guard lied, being the person I am Iobeyed everything the police lady ask me to do. I was ticked for something I didn't do. Several people witness one of the men leaning over my buggy near the video section including my son He said he thought the man was looking at the new video game we had purchased because we had bought the last one. This man added up things he didn't even show me or asked me about he came out an told me yes you did it we got you on tape but again he lied. My son looked at me and said mommy why are they doing this. I said baby what has mom mtaught you about people like this who think we all look alike(he was very brave)all I have to tell these ignorant people you have a higher power to answer to. By the way my 13year old disabled son had to wait in our car on the parking lot until the police car brought me back(he said he was terrified said the security guard even approached him for sitting in his ownj car. We are a well to do middle class family and everything we have we have worked for!!!!!!!!!!!!The biggest thieves are the runs that run the stores including the security. More effort needs to be in at the check out line an helping these elderly people in the store. When the incident happend I immediately call my friend who is an attorney this dirty looking security guard had the adacity to ask me well how do you know him? I have never experienced anything like this in my life and wish no one else has to go through this. Ihad read an educator and her family had experienced this a while back. I would sure appreciate the name and number of your attorney..... I'm also a retired eduator with a lot on common since.

I called and made a complaint and the manager of the store called and said there was nothing could be done, they were told to remove the benches. I am sure that I am not the only person who relied on the benches in order to sit and the be able to continue shopping.

At this center I was told that NEW the insurance agent for walmart does not covered liquid damange and corroison. I indicated that my product warranty clearly states that damage due to humidity is covered. It is quite obvious that humidity could have caused damage on my laptop. Yet they refused to cover the repairs.

I just find it unbelievable at the complaints people are making on the return policy at walmart. NO, I do not and have never worked for Wal- Mart. But some of this stuff is just plain common sense. I've read a couple of complaints of how the return process for some was horrible, bad, poor and how you will never shop there. I mean is it just me or is this stuff common sense. Someone wrote they tried to return a diabetic supply of some sort back to the pharmacy! That is plain stupid! I am happy for safety of others that they do not accept returns at the pharmacy! I do not trust anyone! Period! and you should not either! I have absolutely no idea what you did with the product once you left the store and no idea of what was touched or not and germs etc. Come on! I would be pissed if I found out I was using a needle or any diabetic supply that was returned by god-knows who, doing god-knows what! Hello!!!!! Next, some dude says he brought some chairs or dining set that cost $500 and he just left it behind because he brought it back to the store with no package etc. Hello! He said he thought it was leather but it was pleather. ok so this is just where my lodic kicks in. I come home, open the package, examine the first chair, its not leather! OMG! What do I do? Hmmm... obviously I would place it back into the box and leave the stinkin thing in the corner somewhere until I am ready to take it back. Look at the reciept for the timeframe for the returns. And just take it back immediately because $500 isn't something I would chance on loosing. To me it's like when does your part as a human being with some type of brain come in? Its like la la la la la I do what I WANT and anything goes. No rules for me I would even expect this type of ignorancce from teens but not grown adults! Im sure EVERYONE who has ever purchased something in the USA knows that there is usually a 14 day return period for items and to ALWAYS return items in their ORIGINAL packaging! The stores do their parts to have new merchandise and sometimes are nice enough to have exceptions but come on people lets do our part and use that other side of our brains too!!!

    Sirs,
I just returned home from shopping for a Thanksgiving Turkey & associated items from the Griffin, WALMART. I purchased 5 bags of groceries totaling $54.19. All the item were placed in bags by the Cashier that checked me out. Upon leaving the store I was stopped against my will (I am disabled & have a hard time walking/spending extended time on my feet) & asked for my receipt by two young Black women in WALMART's employee. In that all of my items were in bags I didn't think that it was WALMART's policy to receipt check/inventory departing customers for bagged items? The woman demanding my receipt was forceful & rude. I presented her with my receipt (Receipt #3769-0168324855367447 Validation F7FD Payment Service -E) and she checked my items & let me pass. I got the feeling that she stopped me to show off to the other employee standing with her & that the reason I was stopped is because I am White. The reason I feel this way is that I did not see her stop any Black Patrons Departing the store. I am 57 years old, retired military & a disabled veteran. I take offense to being singled out because of my race & think that WALMART has a problem here that needs to be looked into before it legally blows up in WALMART's face. I thought that it was WALMART's policy to only check patrons departing WALMART with items not in bags. I was extremely offended by this tonight & wish that WALMART would look into this because if it happens to me again I am going to obtain a lawyer pursue legal action. Sincerely, Louis C. I had spent approximately an hour and a half shopping on Tuesday November 18th from 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. I grabbed gift cards and then proceeded to a till...I believe it was till 5. There was no line up and no one waiting behind me. I walked up to the till with the gift cards and asked to have $50 put on each of the cards. She asked me how I was going to pay for them. I thought it was an odd question and blurted out cash. Then she said, I can't do it. I thought she wouldn't do it because she thought I wasn't capable of paying for them plus the merchandise in my cart. I threw down the gift card envelopes on the counter with disguist. Then she said the machine is broke down. I replied I didn't hear you say that. Then she said, I don't like your attitude. I kind of rolled my eyes, and proceeded to empty my cart. Then she said I don't like your attitude. I said, you've made that clear, leave it alone. I started saying, I'm sorry and she cut me off and said I can refuse to serve you. It was like she was picking a fight. I was shocked at her attitude and left. I have been on this earth for 48 years and have never been refused service. I have been in the service industry for over 30 years as an employee and business owner; and have never been treated with such disrespect. Everyone I tell this story to, tells me I should've talked to the manager. What good is that going to do? I'm just a little dot and no one would believe me anyway, except for the people who know me. I know I will never go there alone again and I've decided to give my kids cash instead of gift cards and advise them not to go to that store.

There has been times when i come to electronics looking for help but instead got a furious little girl who not only ignored me, but proceded to ask the customer around me if they'd like to purchase a laptop and a cell phone that she had to sell. This kind of behavior does noth belong on the sales floor nor does this type of behavior. This is not the only time I felt neglected by this associate, but this time I felt like it was time to take action. Other family members of mine has expressed to me that she is definitely not a friendly associate to deal with and that she is more interested in her own personal problems than that of the customer. STANDING IN LINE TO RETURN (2) PICTURE FRAMES. There has almost always been (2) lines. I saw that the first one was taking a while so I got in what I thought was a second line. The older woman in the first line told me that was no line and to go back and get in the first line. They would call people up when ready.... So after waiting quite a bit for my turn, I told the woman I did not have the receipt for the merchandise. She scanned it and a price did come up of $14.97.... She said it was not from their store and she would not return it. I told her I bought it there and to try to scan the 2nd pic.frame. She said the scan #'s were the same. The paper in the frame says WALMART...
She said I must have gotten it from a Super Store and not the Hermantown Location so she would not take it back. I told her she was not to helpful., beside being very rude to me about the line, as well as (3) other patrons that did the same thing as me., This is always how they have run returns .... I will now try to run to the nearest local Walmart Super Store to see if I have any better luck returning these frames. With a scanned price that came up on the register, I do not know why they would not return these items... To me this person at the service desk was very rude not only to me but the others in line too! I have shopped Walmart for many years and have spent quite a bit of money as well as gift cards for family members. In short- I do not feel this woman belongs in customer service.

I was shopping in the sewing dept. and had to listen to two employees verbally fighting. At one point I became frightened because I thought they were going to become physical. After one of the employees walked away, the other continued to complain to a third employee, in a very loud voice. I really wanted the material so I stood and waited until it was cut and handed to me. Then I was in the line waiting to check out when the cashier hit the button to call for help with a customer that didn't have ID and was writing a check. Because all the other lines were so long I waited. Then it became obvious that it would be awhile so I moved to another line. After 5-6 minutes this cashier turned the blinking light back to on and I started to move back to her line. 3 other people were quicker and when I made it to the line, the cashier told me she wouldn't take anyone after the woman in front of me. Needless to say I didn't wait any longer and walked out of the store.

We bought the product at Walmart in portage, because our undercounter canopener broke. We decided to purchase a OneTouch canopener for something new. The next day I decide to open some hash for lunch and when I did I sliced my finger. I think this product should be taken off the market or changed. This product cuts the cans on the side instead of the top. This in turn makes the top sides of the can very sharp. I'm 54 years old and have opened alot of cans in my day and I have not seen a canopener so dangerous. If a child were to stick their hand into a can after it being cut with this canopener it could easily cut there wrist because of a childs arm being shorter. I know I would not allow my grandchildern to use this product. After this canopener opens the can the top sides are so sharp its like a razor blade.

I went into Walmart around 11:30am on 11/16/08 to shop. I was in a hurry when I left the house so I just put on anything (old sweat pant & husband's too big sweat jacket, a head scarf and a knit hat on my head). With me being a ** female, I supposed I looked like a "lesser" individual to some people. Anyway, I took a cart and entered the dairy area of the store to purchase some Yoplait yogurt. As I approached the dairy case, a man who appeared to be a store manager, dressed in a pair of dress slacks, shirt possibly a tie, was stocking the refrigerated case with more yogurt. He had the glass door to the case open wide which left very little room for other to get by.

With him to my immediate right, I moved my cart as far left as I could in aisle, so others could get by. This only left about 12-18 inches of space for the other customers, but JOE had that door open in such a way that no one could pass him. I waited about 10-12 minutes, quietly & patiently, for the guy stocking to finish. He NEVER once turned to see if he was blocking others; he ignored the "grunts" and "hisses" of customers as they had to twist and turn to get past him; and the customers were starting to "glare" at me, as to why I would be waiting and not moving my cart.

At this point, another Walmart employee came over to talk to "JOE" and it was she who called his name and they began to talk. He still had the freezer open, he made eye contact w/ me and she saw me waiting there, yet...he turned to back and started to talk to this associate all while he had the freezer door still open. I walked towards him and said, "Excuse me, I need to get some of that yogurt." He then looked at me, visually scanned me from "head to toe" and said, "Yo, you wait a minute!!"

At this point, I said, "What?" and moved past him, got my yogurt, looked him in the eyes and said, "You've got to be kidding me. These people in this store are looking at me like I'm crazy and you are paying games." At this point, I immediately left the aisle, got the other few items I needed and left that store. I was so offended, I left. This "manager" treated me as I was a nothing, based "solely" on his visual inspection, which he did right before he was discourteous to me. I was so very upset. I went home upset and told my husband what happened, and he suggested that I voice what happened to a manager. I did.

I called the store and spoke with "Mike" the manager and told him what happened to me, how I felt, and how I was offended because I know that Walmart is a highly diverse organization and I know that they are quite sensitive to their customers. He apologized to me for what happened and said he would speak with JOE about what happened. I expressed to him how offended I was with what happened to me for it was not only hurtful and angering, but the store and aisle was quite crowded, so this was a PUBLIC action which is even more embarrassing. This MIKE said he would give me a $10 gift certificate for my trouble and that I could in and get that at anytime. I told him, "You've got to be kidding me. I don't need a $10 gift certificate" and how could he even suggest that what happened to me would be made better that way.

I am very, very upset behind not only what happened to me but also by my feelings being minimized to a "$10.00 gift card". My civil rights as a person were violated so casually by this manager with obvious lasting emotional scars on my person. I feel victimized and that this "manager" is allowed to have done that to me in "2008" and that my feelings don't matter. I shop at that store quite often for it is only about a mile from where I live. I don't cause problems there. I shop and go home. I did not got to the store that morning to be hurt and offended...I went there to buy what I needed and go home. Now, I am now not only angry about what happened but I am left to have this negative, unnecessary, ignorant and stereotypically-based treatment of me to leave its horrible mental poison to have me feel harassed & devalued as a person. This should NEVER have happened to me. And it should NEVER happen to anyone else either.

First I spend approx. $250 per week at our local Wal-Mart. I live very close and found it although not friendly, very convenient. I have occasionally returned items, but not on a regular basis until we started to redo our home and was purchasing things like towels, rugs, etc. and sometimes some clothes. I would get home and unload groceries and purchases and find that they weren't the right color, etc. I would then return them with or without the receipt no late than a couple of days. They would always be able to pull up the transaction with the UPC code and the first 3 times were no problem. The fourth time I was returning a sweater that was a birthday gift and found that I could not only NOT return it, but I could not even exchange it!! It seems someone just forgot to tell the customer that after 3 returns without a receipt you just can't return anything any more for something like 6 months. What genius came up with that policy? They said it was to try and control theft and returns. Now, let me get this straight..Wal-mart is going to punish their loyal customers because they have a crappy security system. I have been in a client based business for 30 years and if I would treat my good clients like this I wouldn't have any. I know that Wal-mart could care less about their customers, but I have been truly insulted. I had the honor and privilege to meet Sam Walton in 1970 as we had very dear friends that moved with Wal-Mart in the 60's when they were just getting started. Mr. Walton was a kind and simple gentleman that cared about the small towns and the people. He trusted the customer and built an empire on that trust. Now it's just the bottom line. What a shame. They've sure made me a non believer and Wal-Mart's loss was just yesterday Target's gain. They treated me like a good customer. Thanks Target!

But he was told by Carla that all he had to do was go to DMV and get a photo ID. Walmarts policy is that once you leave the store with the form, you have 24 hours to get it done. He got the form on Veterans Day at 10:15am. Dmv isnt open on holidays. The next am he was at DMV at 8am and after all was said and done he was told his picture ID would be mailed within 2 weeks. When I called Carla she offered to call Seacoast Redi Care to be sure they were open on Veterans Day. Again not very helpful as DMV was not. But she made an effort. I was told by Carla that there are no exceptions to the rules and good luck to you. On 11/14 I spoke with store manager Yvette Reed who said basically the same things Carla did except she added that it is not there job to know dmv policies for other states. Maine is a bordering state and I believe they should at least be aware that it is not that easy to just get an ID. She basically made it his responsibility to know that it would have taken 2 weeks and to have not taken the form that day.

On the night of November 13, 2008 as I was exiting Walmart a store greeter yelled after me to come back. The greeter asked me if I had any bags, even though it was clear I didn't. After she looked and saw I had no bags she asked me if the cell phone I had in my hand was mine. I became upset by this because she was implying that I stole the phone, which is not even sold in Walmart. So I went home and talked with my parents and they instructed me to call Walmart back and register a complaint. I called and talked to Eric Frers who is the one of the assistant managers and I explained what happened. Mr. Frers told me ok after I told him what happened and brushed it off. So I started to become angry with his carefree attitude and I tried to get him to understand why I was making a complaint. My father decided to handle things from there and Mr. Frer then persisted to get smart with my father complicating problems even more. Nothing was done with my complaint and instead of making the situation better it became worse. I failed to understand why I was stopped when it was visible I had no bags and I failed to understand what my phone had to do with Walmart.

I have visited this location numerous times, and the pricing that is displayed is always at least $5.00 less than what it scans. On occasions I have purchased multiple items and did not catch the price difference until I returned home to carefully review my receipt, then notice the price difference. When I return to the location,or contact by phone, I receive a too bad response. I have even been told that something was placed in the wrong location (with incorrect, much less pricing), because it was not enough room in the correct area. On another occasion, I was told that I should have compared the micro sized numbers on the tag to the micro sized numbers on the box to determine if the price was correct. As a consumer, I should not have to do that. Items should be placed in the correct spot, with correct pricing. Tonight, I visited this same store, and was told that something that had a display price of $9.97 was $20.00. When I asked why the display showed $9.97, the sales associate removed the price and walked away. When I addressed the issue with a supervisor, who in turn asked the sales representative if she saw the pricing in front of the item for $9.97 she said yes, but it should not have been there. He asked her were the sign was, and she took him to a TRASH CAN and gave him a sticker. How am I to know that what she gave him is what was on the display. Why trash it, if it belonged somewhere else. As I was leaving the store, another customer was requesting a manager for the same issue for a different product. I feel that this location needs to be investigated, because hundreds of customers visit this location daily, and are being practically ripped off by the difference in pricing. So many people, such as myself expect what we see on the display is what we are going to pay.

I was in hurry to leave that morning and did not contact a manager to alert him/her to this matter. This has happened to me on several occasions at Wal Mart. The most recent price discrepancy prior to the above mentioned was concerning mouthwash. The pricing for a display of mouthwash in the center isle for a particular brand, type, and size was different (less than) than the identical mouthwash in the hygiene isle. I scanned the mouthwash from both the hygiene isle and center display and the price reflected the higher price. I used my iPhone camera to take a picture of the center display pricing. At checkout I immediately asked for a supervisor and brought it to their attention. I did get the mouthwash for the lower price but it took an extra 15 minutes for the situation to get resolved. I did not have the extra time on my more recent shopping trip for pasta sauce. I can recall several incidents like this and I am frustrated by the whole process. On 10/13/08, I went to the Walmart Store on Foothill Blvd in Upland CA to purchase a Braun "Professional" electric toothbrush. I found one the shelf, an "Oral-B Triumph with SmartGuide TM"; but when I looked for extra toothbrushes matching this brush, I noticed there were none;so I inquired of clerk (Tamara or Tamra was her name I think) if she knew why there were no brushes for this model? She said, "No, I know there were several brushes there on the shelf last week." She professed amazement they were all gone now. I said "well its kind of expensive" (the
shelf tag read "Oral B Triumph 1EA $129.88") but I really want this product. Then I spotted a warning on the electric toothbrush box: "unit for Professional Trial only Not for Sale or Distribution". I asked Tamara how Walmart could be offering a product for sale when it was clearly marked "Not for Sale or Distribution"? She said she didn't know; but opined "Probably someone brought it back and it was accepted." I decided to inquire about this from the Store Manager. But one of the two Cust Service Desk clerks (at the front of the store) said, "He isn't in." I asked, "When will he be back?" I was told, "He isn't in all day". When I asked to whom I might speak, the Walmart Cust Service lady said,"You could speak to one of the two Assistant Store Managers". I said I'd like to do that; so they called a "Nadine Brooke, Asst Mgr" (I read later on her name tag); but Ms Brooke told the Cust Service lady, "I'm busy in the back and it will be at least (and probably more than that) five minutes before I can get up there." I said, "I will wait as long as it takes." The Cust Service Clerk relayed that information to Ms Brooke (and again later when she recalled her to say I was "still waiting".) I waited for slightly over one hour until Ms Brooke finally appeared! Meanwhile, I found a Braun Cust Support 800# listed on the Braun electric toothbrush box which I called using my cell phone from the store while waiting at the Cust Service Desk. I reported to Braun Cust Service person, Sharon, (i.d. #7728603 at 4:04 PM CST) that I was holding a box clearly marked "Unit for Professional Trial Only Not for Sale or Distribution" and that I had just noticed that part of the top of the box flap had been torn off, then the product had been resealed with clear tape. I asked "How can Walmart be offering a Braun product which is marked "Unit for Professional Trial only, not for Sale or Distribution"? She said that it was illegal once this box was opened it to sell it(for health reasons) and further that she had no idea how Walmart could have gotten that product on its shelf. She gave me a Customer contact i.d. # 6627603 so I would have a verification of our call. I explained to that the store tag showed a price of $129.88 with a UPC code: 069055848128. Finally Asst Store Mgr, Nadine Brook, showed up. She had apparently already been briefed about the problem. She said, "Well that product won't scan so you can't buy it!" I asked her to go ahead and scan it anyway which they did. And she was right. It didn't scan. So I decided to go back to the shelf where I'd found the tag marked Oral B Triump $129.88 and I removed the tag (so I could verify the UPC code of the product). At this point, the original store clerk (Tamra) approached me, very upset and demanded "What did you do with the tag?" "Give it back." She raised her voice and made threatening moves toward me, demandiing the store tag. I asked her, "Are you going to assualt me?" At that point, she backed off and I quickly left the store.

The general customer service in this store is pitiful. The people in the check-out lines are generally pretty nice and efficient. The people in the store working the aisles are awful. They never seem to want to help and are usually rude and seem to not care if they are providing good customer service or not. When customers have questions it's nice if the attendant at least acts like they want to help. This store apparently does not stress good customer service. In this day and time it would seem that employees would be glad to have jobs. This store is the worst I've been in. We travel frequently to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and I frequent most of the Walmart stores there. The people there are friendly, courteous and, for the most part, seem very willing to help. Obviously the Management of these stores is doing something right. I have made a complaint to the Midlothian Store (Walmart Way) Manager before and he could care less. My complaint today is not specific but general in nature. We are waiting for a Walmart to come to Powhatan, Va. I surely hope, if this happens, that the service will be more upscale than the store I have referenced. I hate to be so negative but someone in higher plaes needs to know the lack of quality service in this store.

I have asked about the super rolls of sparkle paper towels for this store. I know that Walmart handles this item as I have bought it up in the Overland Park area. Now I'm about 23 miles from Ft Scott and 80 miles from Overland Park. Why is it you do not serve your rural stores as you do your city ones?? This is not the only item on my list, but as of now it really is my pet peeve. The store you have in Stanley Kansas is a beautiful store. Pleasing to the eye any carries so may more items than Fort Scott, which by the way looks like a big ugly barn. The people in the metro areas have dozens of stores to go to and we have this one measley one that when it was opened had less than the one that it replaced. To many things to mention. I wish Target would move into our area so you would have competion as I'm really getting fed up with Walmart.
You say your prices are the lowest, but please look at the amount of product packaged. Do you think that we who live in the sticks do not notice that we are paying the same for some items and getting less in the package. I,for one, check this out and I'm sure that a lot of other people notice the same thing. It's that you think that you have a monopoly. Not so. Even though we live in the sticks we are not as dumb as you might think we are... I plan on not doing much Christmas gift shopping in your stores either, I haven't since you gave up lay a way.

This was especially frightening since I was preparing these to be eaten by four children as well as the adults in our family! The consequences, had I not been paying close attention, could have been grave!

First you did away with Lay-a-way. That helped so many people in our area and remember we are the ones that made Walmart!! Second of all, you have done away with all the music and with Christmas coming, how awful to shop and have no Christmas music to help put us in the mood to spend money. Oh well, it is your loss. That's why we DON'T shop Target because it is too boring! Third, you have done away with all the sewing and yarn and crafts. WHAT ARE YOU THINKING?? And now we hear that Sporting Goods is on the way out! AGAIN, WHAT ARE YOU THINKING?? Fourth, I have heard that you're going to automatic phone system and we will be talking to a computer like at Meyers.

Folks, all I can say is that you are digging your own grave. Soon Walmart will be just a thing of the past and you will have NO ONE to blame but the big shots that are making some of the dumbest decisions I have ever heard. I suggest that you re-think some of these ideas. You truly are going and have already lost many of your customers that have helped build and keep Walmart what it was. And while I am at it, please stop buying so much China-made stuff and start helping the USA! This is a serious matter. Everything I have written has been the talk of our town and I'm telling you if you're as smart as you think you are, you will start giving back to us and stop taking away!! We the people are Walmart but we can just as easily become any other chain store. I hope this is taken as serious as it is written!! Think!!! Before it is too late! If it wasn't full, she would have fallen backwards in the carrier into the shopping cart. This is clearly a safety hazard and there needs to be signs posted around the cart storage area to make people aware of this hazard.

I spoke with the manager and expressed my concern and she told me that it may be a defect with my car seat and that I should contact the Graco company. I told her that there should be signs posted by the shopping cart retrieval to be aware of this safety hazard. She said that she would talk to her safety guy about this. Also I was upset when she told me that there are only 3 shopping carts with infant seats that are attached to them out of the whole super center store. I feel that Wal-Mart does not accommodate mothers with infants. If I can't put my baby in the infant carrier in the shopping cart and there are not enough carts with the carriers attached to them, how am I supposed to shop when I have my infant with me? I cannot afford to pay child care every time I need to go grocery shopping! Since I trusted Dell, I wanted to stay with that Brand. The sales associate was very helpful. I saw a display one that I really liked. The associate (Andrew) went to the back to get me a new one $898.00. I purchased the 2 service plan. My total was $1,051.76. I was on my lunch so I put the laptop in my trunk and went back to work. About 3 hours later, I was talking about my new purchase and saying that I wish it had Windows XP and not Vista. My IT guy says, "Go get your laptop and I will install it for you." I get it out the trunk, bring it in. We open it and it's a Toshiba laptop in the box. I tried to call the store but got no answer.

I drove up there immediately and went to customer service. The girl at the desk called someone from electronics and the first thing he said was this was a inside job. He asked if I wanted my money back. I said no, I would like the item that I purchased. He told me to give him a second and he would get me a new one. I waited about 20 minutes for him to return when a woman comes up to me and says, "We're not taking that back because we don't sell that model." I said, "Well, this is what you sold me." She says, "Well, there is nothing we can do."

I start to cry and say, "I don't understand. This is what you sold me." I say to them, "I'm going to call the cops and take out a report," so they tell me to wait, they would get another manager. The manager (Vern) comes up and says, "We are not taking this back." I say, "I spent almost $1100.00 and I have to take this used laptop home." He says yes. I leave the store, call the district manager and leave a message. I then called the corporate store and filed a complaint. The next day, I get a call saying they looked at their security cameras and none of their employees touched the box and that maybe it came from Dell like that. I called my credit card company to start a dispute so now I am just waiting. I spent $1100.00 and don't even have a working computer.

I returned 6 Parsons chairs due to the fact that on the box, they were said to be leather. On inspection, I found they were pleather, I. E., Vinyl. I wanted a gift card because I had no receipt or the box they came in. The store manager told me he would not override store policy, and that I should contact the manufacturer. He didn't tell me this in person; he sent the asst. Manager out to tell me. I left all 6 chairs sitting at customer service. I was out over $500. I will never buy furniture at WM again.

First off, I try to avoid Walmart as much as possible because of the lack of customer service. I can usually navigate and find what I need faster than it takes to track down an employee to help me. So this morning, I was feeling optimistic and I saw a TV stand online that I wanted and decided to go straight to the location and see if they had it. I picked up a few household things and went to look at the TV stands. I found what I needed but it was heavier than I could lift. There were three employees standing talking to one another with no customers around in the film department. They could see me standing there and offered no help. I approached them to ask what procedure was, i.e., did I need to prepay and then come back to have someone load it in my car or did I need to have someone come get it and take it to the front etc.

I was informed that they would have to call someone to come and get it for me. I want to say that not one of them smiled or said, "Hey, how are you, what can I help you with", etc. I was a definite interruption to their conversation. I went back over to the TV stands to wait. After waiting 10 minutes (still in plain sight of the three nonworking employees), I finally went back and told them that I was waiting and no one is coming. So the male employee asks me what I needed and I showed him which TV stand I wanted and he walks over to see how heavy it is. Then says he'll be right back. He comes over with a shopping cart, loads it up and I then have to ask him if I can check out at the register he's at. Yeah. That was pretty much the only thing he said to me the entire transaction. I helped myself out to the car.

It's so sad that we have gotten to the point that we are willing to accept this as customer service and not complain to the people in charge. Today is the day that I quit accepting this as the norm. I'm tired of going into an establishment that I have to engage the customer service people by asking them how they are or smiling at them before they ever acknowledge my presence. After all, don't they want MY money? Why should I be treated like dirt and an interruption by people who are getting paid to help the customer? If you don't like your job... QUIT, find another one.

Walmart and other employers, you need to have higher standards and lift your employees up to that. Examples like this however small are part of the problem with why this country is circling the drain. We'll complain about customer service, our schools, our government, etc to our friends and family but we don't do anything about it which means we are part of the problem. I've decided to let manager and employers know about lousy experience and on the flip side I want to report on my good experiences as well.

I think that is so wrong when people pay good money to pre order it and pay extra for shipping and stuff. I think they are trying to earn an extra BUCK FOR THEIR STORE.

I would like to bring this to the attention of someone who can help. A lot of people shop at Walmart stores and are oblivious to the truck drivers who bring those goods to that store. While so many drivers on the road need supplies and food to save money, we also require parking on the lot at times. Well while we were in McPherson, Kansas, we parked at the local Walmart to do some shopping. While we sat in their parking lot, two gentlemen approached the driveway carrying shovels and put up a no semi-truck parking allowed - will be towed at owner's expense.

This is not right. RVs can camp out in their lot, yet trucks cannot even park. Aren't truck drivers people too? Don't we deserve to eat too? I just want people to realize this is going on everywhere, and I feel it needs to stop. I think that if the general public started complaining to their local stores about the trucks not being able to park, to buy the things that they deliver in the first place, maybe things would change out here for all the truck drivers in this country. After all, isn't it a free country. Thanks in advance for your support.

I do not like to complain. But i find this rather disturbing. It seems to me that Wal-Mart always has a clean nice appearance. Now I love the Wal-Mart at the north belt location, the people are always great. This is my issue: I was in your store on 10/02/2008 about 1:30 am when i went to the make up department. Ok, women want to look their best so when you ask the person a question in that department you don’t, as a woman, want to ask a man who looks like he just crawled out from under a car. Who has no idea what kind of make up you’re talking about. This is a department, i am sorry, where a woman needs to be. Women don’t feel comfortable going up and asking a dirty-looking man “What do you think about this product?” I asked a question, he just looked lost. That is a department women should be working in. When I ask about lip plumpers i don’t expect the person to laugh and say “I don’t know what that is.” What kind of person would send someone to a department that’s about beauty and cleanliness who doesn’t know himself? Does not belong there, he was out of place and had no idea about the products that people needed help with. Like i said i love your store. I know you do your best to help the customer. Thank you for listening.

I assumed that since Every Walmart in America has a Policy Statement hanging up when you walk through the door, that we will match ANY Competitors sales Price as long as it is the same product in question. The US #1 Russet 10# Bag of spuds had no difference in wording or brand whatsoever. Needless to say, I was told that they would not match the price because they couldn't take that kind of a hit on cost. To me they need to change their wording on their price matching policy or be sued for false advertisement. This seems to happen more and more as our economy struggles. I'm just an average Middle Classed Joe that wants to take advantage of a cost savings when it is available.

I had a film that I wanted to have developed at the 1 Hour Photo STORE that Walmart has always had in their stores. The woman behind the counter very rudely stated that they only had "2 day service now, and I could come back then!" I am handicapped and cannot get out every day to come and go with any ease like the non-handicapped people can. Why is this service being taken away from Walmart's customers? While the film is being developed, we are shopping, and thusly spending money at that Walmart store!! THIS WOULD SEEM TO ME TO BE A "WIN-WIN SITUATION!"

If I need to go to Target or Kmart to find a 1 Hour Photo shop, then I will be spending my money at their stores, NOT Walmart!! This is too bad as I love the Walmart stores and would really hate to have to go elsewhere. Like I stated above, I am handicapped, and need to accomplish all of my business when I am able to get out and about. I cannot get in and out of a car with any ease, so running all over town, looking for a 1 HOUR PHOTO STORE is a great inconvenience!!! If this decision is to be nationwide, please change your policy! This is a bad decision!! If you start taking services away from your customers, they will take their business away from you!!!

Today Oct 2, 2008, I bought 2 bottles of octane booster - shelf price 1.98. I used the self-checkout. The price for the octane booster was 4.50. I called the lady over. She said "I will go check out the price." She comes back with the price tag from the shelf which says 1.98. She says "look, this is a different name brand." In tiny writing which I could not read without a magnifier was a different brand. I said I want my money back. In the return department I told the women this is a crime. The price is marked 1.98, there are no other bottles there but this brand. One is 1.98 and a stronger bottle, same brand is 6.95. The brand for the 1.98 bottle, which you cannot read, is not on the shelf. I have had so many problems with the Freehold store. I told them I would never shop there again, and I would spend a lot of money in this store. I am pissed off at Walmart.

However, two particular happenings come to mind. I am disabled and in a wheelchair. I ALWAYS have trouble finding a parking space, no matter what time of day I go to shop. I asked someone why in the spring they set up their greenhouse on the south end of the parking lot and in doing so eliminate 6-8 handicap spaces while not producing any additional parking spaces elsewhere. I just got an I do not know. This has gone on for many years since.

Also, on my last trip to the bakery, I purchased my usual dozen cookies. There was a new Walmart label on it, but when I got home, I opened the package and it hit me that the package had no sticker on it to assure that it had not been tampered with. It was so anyone could open them and do whatever they wanted and nothing would alert the consumer that it had been tampered with. It is just something I think Walmart should correct and I wonder how they can get by doing this with food.

I looked down on the wooden skid I was sitting on there it was, A peice of plastic about the size of a penny. So I called home on my cell phone to warn my fiance not to eat them or let my 4 year old son have any either of course and she told me the night before she had also found A peice of plastic in her muffin. She had thought that maybe the plastic container had broken and it was from that but now both of us have had the same expierence.

I havent touched the other two muffins and I dont plan to. I didnt know what to do so I called Wal-mart and asked for the bakery. I asked the lady if they had made the muffins that I had bought the night before and she informed me that they did not make any muffins there at all. So I told her the story and all she said was to bring the muffins to the store and they would refund my money. At that point I informed her that she should probably tell someone about this and the way she answered me I dont think she is going to.

I dont have any physical damage but I could have and thank god my 4 year old didnt choke on any plastic because I caught it.

After asking an employee to clarify the correct price she asked at the customer service desk. My husband was told and the employee came back to me and said since the price on the shelf (both had the same skew #'s) was 17 cents they would honor it, no limit. So we were instructed to bring the merchandise to the desk to be checked out. Because out community was looking for inexpensive items for Halloween for the children we decided we would purchase 144 boxes of 24 count to donate to the community.

After the first sales person checked us out she asked another gal for her number to put into the computer. When she saw that we were purchasing that amount she said in a raised voice I can't sell you that many for that price because I would be loosing to much money. she then called the manager and she asked him or told him she couldn't do it. When does the person at the customer service over ride the manager? She said she could sell us one at 17 cents but we had to pay full price for the rest. We DIDN'T purchase them.

When my daughter called back to the store and talked to Jeff she was told that the price had increased to over a dollar the beginning of the week. Told us if we wanted to come back to the store he could possible work out a deal of half price with us. By this time we were 7 miles from the store. When we returned home I called the Independence, Iowa store to ask what the policy and was told that I should have received one free and $3.00 off the rest of the purchase.

We do alot of business with Wal-mart but after being told differnt policy's or changes in prices etc I'm not sure if Wal-mart warrants our or any of our family's business. We teach our kids to be honest but it's okay for a corporation to falsely advertise! With todays economy, no wonder the we are in the predicament we are if businesses are allowed to act this way!

I had to leave after I put the fish in their tank and bowl, and when I got back, the red eye was dead.

A few hours later, I checked the remaining fish, and the black neon was dead. And now one of the two sharks are dying, and the other shark will die soon too, as they did not inform me that these sharks need TEN GALLON TANKS and MARINE SALT WATER.

They are keeping these sharks in HUGE groups in a five gallon tank of freshwater! AND SELLING THEM TO CHILDREN! On top of that, I went to wash out the betta tank, and the thing was melted in the corner, and did not hold water. So my betta has no home right now but a different one gallon bowl I had.

Today, September 24, 2008 I went to the fabric section of the Wal-Mart store, at that time I noticed an employee was available to help. I selected several pieces of fabric to be cut. Now, when I was ready, the employee wasn't available and I needed help with the fabric. I rang the bell, waited a few minutes and rang again. This went on for about 30 minutes. I left and did some other shopping. I returned to that department, no one was available, yet. I rang again to no avail. I went to another department, they announced once that help was needed in the fabric department and then no more. No one came. I went to the customer pick-up counter, no one was there.

I walked through the store and finally found a manager (so the name tag indicated), she apolgized and directly found a man that would volunteer to cut. As soon as he had cut one piece the employee that was supposed to work the fabric department appeared, some 40-45 minutes after I had made my selections. She said someone else was supposed to cover for her, of course. He said to her, no problem. Well, I had a problem, and no one felt it was important. Upon leaving the fabric counter I noticed little pods of employees chitchatting here and there as if nothing needed doing.

Next I went to the cashier, she rang up my items. I paid and picked up my bag. I said, is this the only one I have? --as she was the one packaging and I was the one writing the check. Yes, was the answer, one bag. By this time I was so aggravated that I just wanted out of Wal-Mart. I took the bag and headed for the parking lot. As I walked I thought a little clearer and I realized this couldn't be my only bag. I went back in, lo and behold my other 2 bags were setting on the floor waiting for me, along with a sorry.

This kind of thing has happened to me many times, with Wal-mart, at the check out, I end up getting in my car and driving back to the store to retrieve my missing items I have paid for. It'll be a while before I head for Wal-Mart, I'll have to be desperate.

I purchased a PC in 2007. Along with the HP PC I purchased the Walmart Extended Warrenty. The computer stopped functioning. It will turn on, but nothing happens on the monitor. I called the service line to request service. The man on the phone said I was assigned to Nexicore and they would be calling me within 2 days to schedule an appointment to come to my home.

After waiting 4 days I called Walmart back again telling them I have not heard anything Nexicore. He said that his computer was showing hte parts were ordered and had just come in so they should be contacting me shortly. What parts I asked, they have not even looked at my computer and you did not trouble shoot it over the phone. He didn't have an answer to this question. He told me that he had spoken to them and I would be receiving a call from them within 24 hours to schedule a service appointment.

48 hours later I call Walmart back letting them know I have not heard anything from their contracted help Nexicore. (Whom I did a little research on and the BBB list them as an unsatisfactory company) I was told the exact same thing I heard the 2 days before. I expressed my concern to the service agent who basically told me there was nothing she could do. She guessed I could call Nexicore.

So almost two weeks after my first call I am sitting at home with no working pc and no idea when anyone is coming to fix it. I guess they think I should be feeling okay about it since they have these parts who knows if they will even need. I have been working from home to earn extra money and with no PC it's impossible to do. I will probably just call someone else to come and fix my computer but it irritates me that I paided that money for basically nothing.

as i was driving over to my daughter's home from that store, i began to steam. so, i decided to go to the store closest to my daughter's home...store# 5220 tampa, fl. and go in and talk to that mgr. and ask him/her what the problem was. she very politely told me that it had to be processed as a vendor coupon, but i would have to return to store# 2627 to have them redeemed. so, i said thank you so much and drove back to store#2627 and spoke to bill again about what the other mgr. had told me. he was polite but obviously irritated and very adamant that it must be processed as a check and there was an outstanding balance on a bad check against the name or acct...and since there were three different names on them that they were somehow all connected and he would not process them as a coupon.

he still refused to get someone else's advice or opinion and that's what irritated me. so, the next day i went back to store# 5220 with the product, the coupons and the receipt and explained everything to the mgr. and asked her if i could return the product and buy it back using the coupons....which she very graciously did and i am still a very happy walmart customer.

During the summer of 2007, I purchased 22 gallons of McCloskey exterior stain/paint in order to paint my home. Most of the product came from the Wal-Mart in Augusta,ME some from Wal-Mart in Waterville, ME and some at the Wal-Mart in Seabrook, NH. Reason for several store purchases is because the stain/paint was no longer available in the Augusta store. As the painting project had begun, we thought it prudent to continue with the same product. In this regard, the sales staff at Wal-Mart Augusta promised the paint would be delivered to their store; it never was.

Be that as it may, it is now one year since the painting of my home, and we find it necessary to repaint because the McCloskey brand has peeled and chipped. When I was shopping for product and in order to seek the most cost-effective yet quality product, I had been told the Wal-Mart product compared to Glidden paint. IT DOES NOT, and the reason I know this is because people who have used Glidden are not experiencing the same problems with the exterior properties.

The cost per gal. is $15.62 plus 5% ME state sales tax, totals $16.40 per gal x 22 gal cost me a total of $360.80. This figure does not include painting contractor costs. Not a bad costing IF the project end result had been satisfactory; it is not. Now that the painting project needs to be redone, it has become a costly project for me. I am retired, living on a fixed income and while it may be argued that I made the decision to purchase the product. However, I purchased the product in good faith, was told the product compared favorably with a brand name, and that customers across the USA have been satisfied.

Wal-mart exterior paint, McCloskey brand, used to paint a Maine home in 2007 needs to be redone due to peeling and chipping of paint less than 1-year old.

People have been bringing their animals into this store some time now. I was checking out, a man had his puppy with him, put the dog on the checkout merchandise counter to pay for his purchase. Not only did the checkout person not tell the man that dogs were not allowed in the store, she proceeded to pet it. Standing by was a manager, I turned to the manager, reminded her about Colorado state law. She gave me a blank stare, did nothing. The man actually turned around and told me to mind my own business.

So the way I see it, not only did Walmart employees and manager break the law but condoned it. I called the company of Walmart, and was told that they can not ask if a dog is a pet or assist animal. However, that is not correct. There are questions they can ask to determine if the animal is just a pet. those questions come from the organization that protects the handicap. In other words, my health, the condition of the store in respect to cleanliness nor the condition of the merchandise is of any concern to Walmart.

I took the pants with receipt to Rt 80 Walmart for return, mind you this store is ran by cashiers, managers, etc who turn their head when thier friend, family member who ever decides to fill up a carriage and proceed to the door and leave w/o paying. I seen it more than once, as my husband and I spend at least $500/wk, to say the least, so we frequent this walmart 2-3 times a week. Anyway... when I went to the Cust Service Desk to return my damaged item, I was humiliated, I tried to speak to them on a quiet, respectable level Mentioned to them that I would not try and fool anyone. Just want to return the damaged product. A police officer, at least a half dozen workers were making fun of me and embarising me.

Ann the Ass. Manager went and picked out a new pair of these jeans and tried to show me that they were brand new the pair she picked were not as depressed as the pair I wanted to return. Finally, I went and grabed a pair that had the same depressed look, at the hem of them and in the body of the leg...to show that they were not worn.

I will NEVER spend my money at that Walmart again, as they all stick together, and treat us with total disrespect.

At that time, she noticed that it was not even the one on the box. My sister tried to return it to the walmart closest to her home and they said she needed to return it to the one I purchased it at. She tried to return it there and they said that SHE could have put that DVD in there and there is nothing they can do.

I am now out $80 and my niece has a DVD that does not work. They never took it out to show it to me prior to my purchase, and since it came out of a case, I did not think to even ask. I am appalled that this could happen and want my money back!

It's almost the only store in town ( they drove all others out) Since then they are out of stock on almost every thing on my shopping list. Food Processer, vinegar, bulk chicken ( 5 lbs bags) fish bait, Prell shampoo, Blue Bunny ice cream, Tea.

The shelves are so empty I asked if they didn't have stockers? Answer: we have a nite shift & the delivery people for other items (bread, ice cream & misc.) stock those items. The produce is awful. They told me Sat. they have a new mgr. in meats. He must be vegetarian.

Several months ago, my parents visited the Roanoke Rapids SuperWalmart. They purchased several items. As one of the items, was a family pack hamburger carton. The meat was already pre-packaged in one of Walmart's black carton's and sealed with plastic wrap as is customary. My parents kept the meat frozen in a cooler and traveled two hours back to their home.

Just today, it was my turn to visit my parents and guess what, they decided to thaw out that hamburger meat purchased from Walmart. However, upon grilling burgers on the grill (which I did not eat meanly because I did not feel like hamburger) as the last section of the first section of the hamburger was to be tossed on the grill, we noticed something blue, much to our surprise and the disgust to anyone who had eaten burgers already there was a BLUE LATEX GLOVE attached to the remaining hamburger!

Instead of using the styrofoam that usually comes with the hamburger somone had used a blue latex GLOVE. My mother than removed the other section of the hamburger which she HAD NOT COOKED and lo and behold THERE WAS A MATCHING LATEX BLUE GLOVE attached!

I then called the Roanoke Rapids Walmart. Where I spoke to the Associate in the Meat Department (Ashley) who informed me that the Meat Department Manager was not in but that Walmart did not personally package the meat and did not use blue gloves at all BUT That the meat came from a processing plant! She then apologized and understood my concern and instructed that I call the store manager since her manager in the meat department was not in.

I then spoke with Mickey the store manager and was instructed that if my parents brought in the damaged meat, and the latex gloves, and the packaging that Walmart would replace it (how rewarding). Yet, little was said about why the latex glove was found in the meat as I got more of an understanding and knowledgeable response from the meat department. However, upon further questioning about the product, I was informed that if I brought in all of the aforementioned vs just taking the meat back to a local Walmart she could run a check on the packaging and write a report to see if the manufacturer or processing plant would assume liability. I asked her what that would mean for me and she said that since I didn't eat the meat then she could not say but probably nothing.

And although I did not eat the meat, others before seeing the blue glove did eat. Hopefully, PRAYFULLY with no side effects, but I did not think that situation was handled very tactifully or concerning. And while I understand that she did not want to be legally binding, a better customer service approach would have been better warranted and appreciated. Photos minus the meat have been taken but other than that the originial contents have been disgarded with the garbage.

Because the cashier was busy talking about nothing in peticular she hit the total button to finish the sale without taking my coupons. Occasionally, in the past this happens even when I point out the coupons as soon as I get to the cashier. The cashier always apoligizes saying they forgot and then asks me to rerun my card. Because I am a resonable individual and understand people forget or make mistakes I gladly swipe my card again and finish my shopping experience smoothly.

But tonight this cashier would not let me rerun the card. She gave me my receipt and told me if I wanted to get reimbursed for my coupons I had wait in the customer service line. Even though I felt it was unfair that it became my responsibility to fix her mistake I stood in line. I stood there twenty minutes debating whether this was necessary. I decided it was necessary if at least on priciple. I am making efforts to save money even while a company that prides itself in saving me money was very careless about my time and money. I even tried to voice my frustation to the customer service rep. at the customer service desk. My comment landed on deaf ears as he was trying to do several things at one time. I do not understand how you can be standing less than 2' away from the cashiers and yet they can act as though you are not even there. A simple hello, or have a good day could make the atrosiously long lines more bearable

My 4 year old son was standing by my side looking at some treats on the end of an aisle when an employee can whipping around the corner on one of their pallet jacks, and knock him over. The man KEPT MOVING! He didn't even stop to pick my son up from the floor, another associate saw it and came over, but had the nerve to tell me that my son should watch where he stands, we're working here. Luckily he was fine, but because of that and the fact that you have to kick merchandise out of the way to simply walk down the aisles I will never go there again. I bought the item on 8/2/08 and knew within a few days that it did not have the features I was looking for. I did not hurry to return as I had 30 days.

I went to return it today 8/22/08 and was told it had to be returned within 15 days and was shown some fine print on the receipt. I calmly appealed this policy, stating that I was informed otherwise by their sales associate. When I spoke with the manager he told me again that this was their policy and he couldn't change the policy. At this point, I became a little heated and said, obviously his sales associate had already changed the policy by misinforming me, that exceptions could always be made to policies and that sense I was given misinformation they needed to avoid false marketing by taking back the d#$@ GPS.

Bill then looked at me and said, well, I was going to do it for you but since you cussed me I am not going to. I was flustered and asked what I had said that was cursing, he told me I said, d@#! gps and besides, no one was going to talk to him that way in front of his costumers. I said, so you could have done it, made an exception to the policy but you are not going to because I cursed? He said, yes.

I asked to speak to his supervisor. He refused. I said I would wait until they found someone who could talk to me. He said if I didn't leave the store immediately they were going to call the police and have me escorted out of the store. I couldn't quite believe what I was hearing. My husband went in to the store and they confirmed that they wouldn't change the policy since I had become angry and cursed. What recourse do I have?

I took my Amtron Watch in to have the battery changed. I had bought the watch from K-mart on sale for $54.00 in 2006 for a Christmas present to myself. Then the battery went dead sometime around July 2008. The girl behind the jewelry counter took my watch to change the battery. I noticed she was having a hard time getting the back off my watch. She kept making faces and sighing. After about 6-7 minutes, I was starting to get nervous and thought I should tell her never mind, I'll take it back to where I bought it but at that point she got it off. She put the battery in and snapped the back back on. Then she went to set it. She moved away from me and kept messing with the watch. Then she made a face and came back over toward me and put my watch on the counter.

I paid her. Then I picked up my watch and she hadn't set it. So I was going to set it before I left so I could wear my watch. When I went to set it, the stem fell completely out of my watch. It was broke. I told the manager what happened. The manager explained to me that the clerk is suppose to have the customer sign a paper relieving clerk of any responsibility for mishaps (or however she explained that) to watch. She also stated that the clerks are to set your watch before giving it back to you.

Manager then called girl over to talk with her. The clerk said she just popped the battery right in. I said it looked like she was having trouble because it took her a few minutes and she was making faces. The manager took the watch apart and found the stem was broken. She said that was unusual to be broke there. Said you would have had to set and wind it alot of times. I told her I had only set the watch 2 or 3 times since I had bought it and that was because of daylight savings time. I also told her my watch was working last time I set it. She said maybe I could have a jeweler fix it. I took my watch and left. I was very hurt and upset that they dumped me like that.

A week or two later, I went back and asked for the top store manager. They called the manager who was over the jewelry section. I told him the story and he went and got the manager that looked at my watch the first time I was there. The jewelry manager told me he would have to do some research and then get back with me. To this date, I have not heard a word from anyone from Walmart. They just blew me off again. I was so hurt that I promised myself when I bought another watch - IT DEFINITELY WOULD NOT BE FROM WAL-MART. It is not fair that I went in with a working watch and came out with a broken one.

After I finished paying Amber says due to company policy we are only able to sell one per customer per day. I said I had already paid for them and had never heard of that. I said one of the systems I'm buying and the other my daughter who was with me. Amber says that she has to be 18 to purchase. I told her that was ridiculous and the system is rated E for Everyone so there is no problem in her purchasing it. I said I wanted to speak to a manager she said there was not one.

During this time there was about 2-3 customers behind me witnessing this. One of the customers said she would buy the system for me because what was happening was unfair. She expressed how this was not proper cust serv. What's really funny is that no one knew about this policy to start with! It seems like just out of the blue she comes over and wants me to refund one of the items I already paid for. Did she want one for herself and realized I bought the last ones?

This is not the first time I have had an issue with customer service at this store. If Wal-Mart is so concerned about 100% cust satisfaction then it should train it's employees to deliver that. Besides making me terribly unhappy, they showed a poor representation of themselves to the customers that were around. The man in front of me had about 30 items to return and it took the greeter 45 minutes to an hour to scan and ticket each of his items then he had to have each item scanned again at the return desk. This is totally unnecessary.

There was no damage just a total waste of a lot of my time. I will not be buying Christmas gifts at WalMart if this is what we have to go through to return any items that do not fit or are inappropriate for any reason. Other stores have much better and faster return policies.

Being a Senior citizen and on a really fixed income, I really depend on Wal-mart in Milford, Pa.,to do most of my food shopping. What really bothers me is this: Many times when an item is on sale, with the current price on the shelf, it always rings up at the before the sale price. I have had this happen numerous times. It may say $2.50 but will ring up as maybe $3.98 (for instance). This has happened so many times, I can't keep track. Don't they change their computers accordingly?

I think it is a way for them to sell things at a higher price, and the buyer may not catch it until they are at home and look at their receipt. Believe me, I pay close attention to what is being rung up. So many times I have had to go to customer service and get a refund.

Another gripe I have is this: So many times I go to buy something that I usually buy, only to find out that Wal-mart is no longer selling that item. It's not only food. I went to buy embroidery thread, and they told me they no longer carry this. Where else can I go to find this item? I can't travel too far. It is a real shame. I really feel that Wal-mart is not all that its said to be.

Another complaint is that 3 different frozen foods I went to buy were cut or split open! I guess whoever unpacks these for the freezer is not too careful with the razor blade. When I got home, my ice cream had a big slit cut through the top, letting air into it. With my vision the way it is, I did not notice this until I got home under better light. One good thing I can say, is that the personnel in this store are very friendly and have been helpful.

The 150 row was right above so I assumed it was placed in the wrong row and it was 150. That is what it was marked. Why would I assume any different than the price on the item.

I went to purchase it and was told the 150 was the OLD price I had to pay the NEW price 200. I talked to Terry the manager and she informed me that it does not matter what the item is priced that they do not have to give it to the customer for that price. Their policy is to give you 3 dollars off. Making sure I am understanding her correctly I gave an example. I said if you have a shirt marked 10$ and it scans 15 you will give me 3$ off and i will pay 12$ but will not give me the price you are advertising it as being. She said yes.

According to her there is no law that a store has to give you the item for the price they have marked. It was not like it was a slap sticker that was altered and could have been from another item. I could see that. It was a tag attached to the item with a price sticker from walmart. It is also in a locked case. If this is the case stores can put any price they want on an item and charge what ever they want? does not sound like that could be right.

When they do get them in they are normally when we are at work and then are gone with in a short amount of time because they only get a few in. We have asked them to call us when they get them in. They stated that they can not do that and so we have to keep calling them. We have asked management to hold a box until we can get off work to exchange it on the days that they are expecting a shipment, they will not do that.

We can not return it for a full refund because we used a coupon. Meanwhile we are out the $ and Wal-mart gets to keep it in their pocket without providing a working tuner box for over 3 months now. This seems like consumer fraud to provide defective products and not allow to exchange due to insufficient stock. This should have been disclosed prior to purchasing the item. They should have stated we can sell you defective product and you may never be able to exchange it for working product. Buyer beware.

While at the Brick, NJ Wal-Mart at approximately 6:45pm on Saturday, August 15, I was finished shopping and proceeded to the Express Checkout where the cashier, then scanned all of my items. When it was time to pay, I used my debit card in the machine provided. I then entered my pin and was told by the cashier that my pin was wrong. So I tried again and it say wrong pin again. I could sense something was different with the debit machine this time since I had used it many times before and never had any problems. Here is where it got very embarrassing for me.

With 3 others customers behind me waiting and watching all of this, the cashier told me that "maybe I didn't have enough money to pay for the items". I then told her that now she was insulting and embarrassing me in front of other customers. Her response was "Don't you have a Credit Card you could use?" I do not use credit cards and I don't think it was right for her to suggest that so I told her "No, I don't use credit cards, which is why I am debiting my purchase." She then said "Maybe you hit your limit for the day and that I may have debited too much already." Again, the reason I use my debit card is so that it will be treated as cash.

The last time I checked, I didn't have a limit on my debit purchases since it came directly from my checking account. In addition, I had only charged about $100 that day so I can't imagine I would be over any "phantom" limit she thought existed. I then asked her what I should do since I had a cart full of merchandise and she said "Can you get cash out from the ATM machine?" So I said "I guess, but I don't usually like to use my savings account to pay for things and I hate getting charged for taking out money, which is why I use my Debit card."

So I went and took $40 from the ATM machine and went back to the line where my cart was with the items in it and stood there while I called my bank to make sure my balance was sufficient to cover the purchase that she had told me was denied.

Well, of course, it was as I told her. As I was standing there, I could see she was going to ask me if I wanted to check out, but then when she saw me on my phone, I saw her make a gesture with her hand and then say "oh, forget it, he is on the phone anyway." At this point, I debated just leaving or going to a manager right away, but I had my baby's formula in my cart and needed to get home so I could feed him so I just stood there and waited as she took other customers in front of me. Finally, after 4 or 5 other customers were checked out, she finally re-scanned my receipt and checked me out and I had to pay her with the cash I had to take out of the ATM machine.

While there was only minimal economic damage (i.e. fee for ATM withdrawal) being a resident in Brick and a loyal customer to Wal-Mart, I was very embarrassed and insulted that this woman would say those things and treat me like that front of other customers. Telling someone and all the people around them that they can't afford something because they are either incompetent or their machines are is unacceptable and slanderous in my opinion and caused me some mental damage of people will perceive me. I give a lot of business to Wal-Mart for both personal and business use, but this experience made me think twice about where my money goes and what I will tell people about my experience.

After a month of working in shoes my eyes were always red, my nose ran as though I had a cold and I developed respiratory problems and a skin rash which sent me to urgent care one Sunday morning. The doctor told me I had a severe bronchial problem. He ran tests. I had to visit two other doctors in the next two weeks.

There are copyright laws and the pictures of my granddaughter were done in a photography studio. I could not have the pictures. I wanted her to show me how she know this. Was there a different number on the back of the photo or was there a name of the studio on the back? Of course she was clueless on that subject. She did say that they looked like they came from a digital camera and I asked her how did the photographer have a couch and flags in his studio.

One of the pictures was of my son being swore into the Army. She refused to give me the pictures. We discussed this matter with one of the customer service managers, and he stated they can not develop the pictures because of copyright laws. Of course I asked where in the store is this copyright issue posted. He had no clue, but I could take the photos to Kinko and have them developed. Then of course I told him that Walmart needed to education their employees better on what is a professional photograph, and of course his employees need to lose their attitude. Their clerk really needed an attitude correction. Needless to say we have nothing to show for our adventure but frustration and no pictures.

This morning on my way to work I stopped in the North Dale Mabry WalMart to cash a check. Since it was so early in the morning I thought I could get in and out very quickly and get to work (well that didn't happen.) I waited in line for 20 minutes and when I got to the register, I was told that they were not cashing checks. There was no sign posted in the store with reference to the fact that they were not cashing checks today.

I used to love going to Walmart but anymore it's a hassle. I love to sew, they got rid of all the material in all the stores close to where I live so now I have to go someplace else and pay twice as much for material. I sure do wish I knew the reason why they just have a little hobby section now and not the material. They can't say nobody was buying it. The women who worked in that department were ALWAYS busy

I had the worst customer experience in my entire life at the Wal-Mart location at Keeamoku Street in Honolulu, Hawaii. I firmly believe that I was mistreated by one of [their] employees. I left your store angry, in tears, and had injured and bloody toe caused by your employees.

I returned a SpotBot Cleaner, which I had purchased for my mother as a gift, to the Wal-Mart located on 750 Keeamoku Street in Honolulu, Hawaii today at about 5:30 pm (but did not have the receipt) because the item was not working properly. At the Customer Service counter, the clerk who helped me said that she needed approval from her manager first. Her manager then came and called someone from the Houseware Department to check the device. The Houseware Department employee checked out the SpotBot and confirmed that the product was defective. Then, a different supervisor came and told me that because I did not have the receipt and the product was over $100, she could only give me an even exchange for the same product. She told me to get the SpotBot myself and a clerk would be able to finish the transaction at the Customer Service counter.

As I carried the 20- pound cleaner by myself back to the Customer Service counter, I realized that I really did not want another poor quality SpotBot vacuum cleaner (which I had invested $141) that will probably be defective or break down. As I was waiting at the Customer Service counter to finish the transaction for the exchange of the products, a Wal-Mart employee accidentally dropped her heavy, 12-inch two-way radio on my toe, which was excruciating in pain and caused my toe to bleed and made me cry. She was apologetic about dropping the radio on my toe, but by then I was quite frustrated with the situation of having to lug back a product that I no longer wanted-- by myself-- wait in line again, and then have my toe injured by a Wal-Mart employee. The associate understood the situation, and proceeded to give me merchandise credit instead of the same product.

However, her manager came and disapproved the merchandise credit. The manager said that because I did not have a receipt, I needed to sit and wait while Wal-Mart security looked through one month worth of security video film, to make sure that I did not steal the SpotBot cleaner from the store, and that I had actually purchased it from the Keamoku location. I was very angry that although the manager knew that an employee had dropped her large two-way radio on my toe (and my toe was bleeding) she failed to acknowledge the situation. The manager did not apologize or ask me if I wanted to take any action against this situation. Instead, she aggressively instructed the clerks that I needed to wait until security searched all the film.

After being accused of stealing the SpotBot because I did not have a receipt, I was frustrated and requested to speak with upper management. The Assistant Store Manager handled the situation great. Only after I explained the situation to the Assistant Store Manager, did I receive an apology for the toe injury. The Assistant Manager listened and gave me merchandise credit. Although the Assistant Manager asked me if I wanted to write up the incident, I declined, with the rational that my toe may hurt only for a week or so and that it was just an accident. I was much more angry and frustrated with the rude and completely unprofessional manager who accused me of stealing a 20-pound vacuum cleaner.

Unfortunatly, I left the store distraught and disgusted and did not take down the names of the employees who were helping me. Never in my entire life have I experienced that type of degrading and poor customer service. Although I was granted merchandise credit for the defective item, I had such an aweful experience, that I will most likely give away the merchandise credit no longer shop at this location. I firmly believe that the customer service at Wal-mart in Honolulu, Hawaii needs much improvement.

My daughter ordered an easy-bake oven on July 24,2008 for her cousins 5th birthday and she order it to be delivered 2nd day mail so it would make it to her party on time. This oven still has not made it yet. The first time that I spoke with some one they told me they would refund the postage she had payed. But the oven would soon be to the little girl. I spent 45 minutes on the line with this lady. And she also told me that two day meant after it left the ware house and was in the mail. The oven still has not arrived.

I called back and talked to a young man on August the 11th and I also spoke with his supervisor and was told that Wal-Mart has done all they can do. Let me back up for one moment I spoke with a lady on Aug 8th that promised me the oven would be in the mail on the 8th and in would g out over night mail that has not happened either . That is when I spoke with the gentleman on the 8th and his supervisor and they told me they could not do anything else. They have no control over the US postal service.

Now what this boils down to is a 5 year old is waiting on a birthday present from my daughter and she has been waiting from 7-24-08 till now and still has not gotten it delivered to her and Katlin is disappointed about this and Wal-Mart does not care.

Walmart refused to accept the return of a defective Zune MP3 Player two days after purchase allegedly because the serial number on the box does not agree with the serial number on the Player. I purchased the Player on 8/10. Docking software had to be downloaded from Microsoft's site before I could charge the battery. I could not get this loaded until early Monday morning. By late Monday night I realized that there was a problem and was told by technical support to return to the vendor. I did so Tuesday morning (8/13) only to be told about the problem with the serial number.

The Asst. Manager insist that I was attempting to return merchandise not purchased at their store. This is not true and my husband who accompanied me can vouch for this; I do not have another Zune player. I have never had this problem before and cannot believe the lack of assistance from Walmart. I paid $265.23 for merchandise that does not work and cannot be reimbursed or given another one.

The manager, Tisha, was not present when I visited the store and she has not returned my phone calls. Walmart accuses me of trying to defraud their store but I think they have sold me refurbished merchandise packaged as new merchandise. Can someone please help me resolve this issue? Thank you.

I have been a Wal-Mart shopper for years....lately I have been very disappointed in the employees (including managers) customer service skills....I have decided I will no longer be a Wal-Mart shopper...The last 4-5 visists have not gone well. It first started with a fishing pole I purchased for my husband...the reel on the pole locked up after a weeks use. I didn't keep the receipt and all we wanted to do was exchange it. They didn't want to...so we got the manager involved....then when we brought the exchange back to the counter they acted like they didn't know what was going on...and we had to get the manager involved again. this took about 2 hours.

My other complaint is we have two Wal-Marts in our town. The newer one does not have as much selection as the older one. The newer one is closer to my home. And the newer one is always running low on stock. Another complaint, my husband needed tires on his vehicle so of course we chose wal-mart...While his vehicle was getting new tires, he did some grocery shopping....Paid for the tires (over $300.00) and paid for the groceries at two separate cash registers, got home and noticed he was missing a bag of groceries. The next time we visisted Wal-Mart we presented them with the receipt with the items we did not get highlighted on the receipt....They would not honor it.

They asked the cashier if she remembered my husband and she said yes and then they ask her if she remembered if he got all his bags. Well, of course she is going to say yes. I said that's it? You can't pull the tapes? Then the manager I spoke to said that they could not pull the tapes....and proceeded to tell me how some lady tried to make off with a cart full of groceries without paying for them. I said that doesn't have anything to do with our case...we spent over 300.00 in tires and 75.00 in groceries today. I'm not trying to steal anything...

My last and final visit from Wal-Mart was Sunday...My husband and I decided to motorcycle riding....the weather was cooler than what we expected, stopped in Wal-Mart to buy sweatshirts. They had a rack of hoodies marked $10.00. So we each picked one and headed to the cashier. She rang one up and it came up $12.00..I brought it to her attention that it was hanging on a rack marked 10.00....She said I have to charge you what it's ringing up. I said no, you will charge me what is advertised on the sign. She said show me. I walked her over to the rack and showed her. Then she called her manager over to her register and said I was claiming these shirts were hanging on a rack marked 10.00...how rude.....I proved it to her! I held my tongue...Anyway then I had to walk the manager over to the rack and show her....The manager shrugged her shoulders, sighed and said Well I guess you can have it Does that make you happy?

I was appalled! I told her it wasn't my problem someone put the wrong sign up and if they didn't want to honor the price they should remove the sign. I also told her they needed to work on their customer service skills. But we got the hoodies for 10.00...And I'm not going to shop Wal-Mart again. And a friend of mine says the 10.00 sign is still in place..

I was trying to cook some fries for my daughter in a wok that was manufactured by Columbian Home Products. I had the wok on the front burner when I noticed that it was starting to smoke slightly, so I moved to the back burner that wasn't on. In doing so, the wok's handle malfunctioned which caused it to twist off center...spilling a bit of cooking oil on the front burner...causing a small fire. I then moved the wok off the stove onto the counter in fear that the fire would spread to the wok. When I did the wok handle twisted a second time causing the hot oil to cover the top of my hand.

My brother, who was also injured, purchased this wok from Wal-Mart less than a year ago as a gift for his wife. After being injured and treated I started my search for legal representation, I also started researching the wok manufacturer. I went to Wal-Mart to see if the still had the wok, so I could get the part number. I was shocked to find that the wok (same manufacturer) was still being sold, but the handle was redesigned.

I received 2nd degree burns to 90% of the top of my hand. I was prescribed pain medication and burn cream. I can't work, write, and my daughter doesn't even want to look at my hand.

she then called me as she was leaving the store to tell me i had to pick the paint up myself and i heard a guy yell, stop you are stealing paint. she said no i'm not my mom sent this with me to match for her. he said why were you trying to buy so much paint. she said my mom owns a business and she has an order she needs to paint today. he said your lying, hang up the phone. the phone disconnected and i was paniced. i didn't know what was happening. all i could hear was this guy screaming at my daughter and i was in another city.

i called information for the niles walmart's phone number and called. i was on hold for the assistant manager, Ty, when my daughter called me back crying histarically. when she was calm enough to speak, she said the security guard, who was approximately 20 years old, had stopped her at the exit doors. he was screaming at her in front of the other customers. accusing her of stealing spray paint. made her empty her handbag on the floor and he rifled thru her personal items while everyone coming in and going out watched. he finally let her go after several minutes of humiliating her in front of many patrons.

my daughter shopped in walmart at least once a week. she is so humiliated she will not step foot in that store. walmart's manager, Debby, said the security guard no longer works for walmart and apologized to me. I told Ty, the assistant mgr. i wanted the guard to call my daughter and apologize or i would come there with her and he could apologize in person. I contacted corporate and the lady that i spoke with was appauled and said someone would contact us. but no one did. i have requested the video for the time frame my daughter was in the store but have not heard from anyone.

We are very displeased with the services we got from them. with gas at or over $3.50 a gal on top of the fact that the baby the pictures were taken of had to be brought out and put on hold while they tried to figure out what happened to the clerk so all in all we are out over $ 25.00 in gas alone which they can keep.

I myself am disabled, and almost every time I have to go there (it has the only pharmacy in the entire area), an eletric cart is not available. It is my understanding that the store has only three carts that are in working condition.

The Walmart personnel to whom I have spoken about this have shrugged their shoulders and said they have asked time and time again for a repairman, but to no avail. This is shameful, and something needs to be done. Thanks for your concern.

The trigger is the culprit. It is made of a soft plastic that deforms easily and becomes so flexible that it does not actuate the internal water valve. After 6 weeks of use the Petjet washer would not dispense water and is totally useless. I e-mailed M2PETS 2 months ago and have not heard from them yet.
