Our CMN Coordinator quit on February 12th due to passing out Veteran flyers at the CMN Meeting on the 11th. His name is Don **. He has been with Walmart for 20 plus years and has done a lot for CMN and the Brewer community. The Market manager, Alan, yelled at him and told him that he was not allowed to do anything involving fund raising without his consent. We have never dealt with this kind of issue in the past. Don is very compassionate about what he does and is very respected among the community and the associates at Brewer Super Walmart. He asked me to get involved in raising money for CMN and getting others to get involved. He is the one that got the store involved.
The Market Manager has taken away all ways to raise money for CMN. We had umbrellas that hung from the ceiling that brought in revenue of about $200.00-$500.00 a month depending on the season, time of month, and holidays. He has also taken out the buckets that the people greeters have at the door and we lost money there too. We can no longer have anyone in the community out in front of the store to promote safety, which is the fire department, no girl scouts or boy scouts or any other community relations that help us to raise money. We cannot have yard sales, craft fairs or any other thing to raise money for CMN.
The only program he is allowing is the round-up program. What you do is when the customer buys merchandise and it totals $23.78, we ask the customer to round up their change to the nearest dollar. I don't have a problem with this whatsoever. What I have a problem with is that every little bit of money we raise not only helps children but maybe someone we may know and brings revenue into the store. We can no longer have BBQs to help raise money for an associate who is in need. He is having management basically threatening cash register operators with their jobs. Management is on edge and the community is upset and you will probably receive many emails about this. We cannot lose Don ** because this Market Manager has an attitude. Everyone is afraid of him. Don deserves an apology from Alan and Wendy, his assistant.

I received a voice mail on my cell phone from a Walmart customer service person that said ** and that was all. I know for a fact it was Walmart because the same # called back and I talked to them and they said it was Walmart calling in regard to my bill. I have the phone calls and same matching numbers saved on my phone for reference if needed. I didn't even talk to this person who left the nasty message. I don't know if he thought it was funny but I didn't and I expect an apology from Walmart at the least.

I am a past employee (actually manager) of Walmart Supercenters. The above stories are only a few of the horror stories intertwined wih Walmarts. Being an employee can be just as bad and at times, worse. My main point to consumers is - is this not how and why you pay less for their products (Much less for products at Walmarts)? Sam used to have pride in saying, "Made in America." Very, very little is made in the US now (or at least sold at Walmarts) and that is what you get with global trading and that is why Walmart is the leading retailer.
I will not comment on how they love to pass the buck to everyone else and are also experts in this area. You all make them who they currently are now. Buyer beware. We do have a choice in where we shop. The saying does go, you get what you pay for. Being a past manager for them, I feel I need to apologize for them, to you. Sam, I believe, was an amazing man and honorable. (To my knowledge of him) Money is, the root of all evils, depending on whose hands it is in. Bless America.

I bought an airbed on Monday, and found it was not the right size for my room after opening it up (I just open it to see if it fits my room) and realized that it's too big, so I had my friend to return it for me on Tuesday. And somehow, there is a really tiny sign on the wall in return section saying about airbed return policy. No returns for airbed except exchange. So my friend thought she would just exchange for a new one and we can try to return it later on. We went to the store again on Thursday, with the exchange receipt (I gave the original one for my roommate to calculate our expenses and how much we should pay to each other). At first, the person in charge came and told us he would give us store credit as the airbed is new, but after a while he decided he should not do that (maybe his manager will make this hard on him) and he started to say really mean things to us like, "It's all your own choice to look at the return policy before you buy things."
I told him the policy is really, really tiny that I couldn't even see it, how were other customers supposed to see that before they buy it, and questioned them why not posting it on where the airbed section is. He was really rude to us, saying that it's a lawful policy and that's what American always do (I thought they usually tell you it's not refundable when you pay). Then he had his manager, a ** around 50 to come talk to us. He started arguing with us, and I guess he might not be the manager, just someone who is really good at offending people and arguing. They were really ambiguous about the rules for return. They changed their answers so many times.
Every time we try to talk to them and make some points, they would shut us up with, "We just want to follow the policy," or "Why are you here to argue with us? I don't want to debate." While my friend was really mad and murmuring that they were so rude to us because we were Chinese (yes, we are international students here!), he just simply said Yes and leaves. Then somehow another younger guy came, and just keep saying that's the policy while he could barely read the policy on the wall (it's super tiny). I was so frustrated there that at the moment, I don't even care whether I could get my 60 dollars back or not.
It was around 10 pm. I guess they were worn out from working and taking it on us, Asian girls. I was too angry with them that a tear just burst out :( I feel like not only they were taking it on us but they feel superior about having the power over us. They have insulted us in so many ways. I actually feel bad for them, maybe that's the only time they feel superior about themselves. Anyways, I was not able to refund the bed. I was okay with that, but I wish they had posted the policy on where the airbeds are or tell the customer when they pay for it.

Twice in the last month I have picked up something on the end of an aisle that was supposed to be on sale. When I reached the checkout, the items showed regular price. I was told that is the price and someone probably moved the item. (Well if someone moved these items, they went through a lot of trouble to move large numbers of these items to the sale rack.) I was on the watch but for older people and those who don't pay attention. This is a rip off. Walmart pricing practices need investigating.

Today I was shopping at Walmart and saw a special Old Milwaukee beer for $5.97 for a 12-pack. I picked up 4 thinking that was a good price. At check stand, they rang up at $6.37. I told the woman they were marked $5.97, so everything stopped for about 10 minutes. Some guy named Joe went back to check price. The checker went back to check price. Joe said Keystone was $5.97, not old MI, and there were 4 there. l said, "Fine, I'll get that" and went back with the cart. There were two Keystone over the two signs saying old Milwaukee $5.97. The Keystone had been moved over the signs. I took the price tags upfront and even though they clearly said Old MI, this Joe guy showed me a UPC number and told me that was for Keystone (like "see, it's your fault").
He was covering up for his mistake. I told him I'd pay the extra 40 cents just to get out of there and did. He has done this before when I was overcharged, telling me "this only happens to you." I'm tired of being overcharged. I've written to the head manager and got no reply. I speak to others that have had similar experiences. This guy should not be in customer service.

I went into Walmart for a few items. The meat dept. had some Oscar Mayer shaved turkey on sale with a big Walmart savings ad on the shelf. I got my other items and checked out with u-scan. I checked my receipt on the way to the door and noticed I got charged full price for the turkey. I asked the girl at the u-scan desk to call me a manager so I could bring this error to his attention. After about 5 minutes or so, he showed up. I told him what happened. He did not offer to give me the difference but to get in the long line for customer service; more or less he just blew me off.
That’s false advertising when hundreds of people are thinking they are getting a good deal on an item, but they are ripping you off. My advice is to always check your receipts when shopping at Walmarts! Don’t trust them. Hundreds of thousands of people are getting overcharged by false advertisements - Walmart benefits. This is not the first time that this has happened! Someone needs to report them and make the public aware.

I was in this store on 1/14/09 morning for my shopping . The ad on eggplants was $1.48 ea. on the rack where eggplants were placed. So I bought 4 eggplants. Upon checking, it came as $1.48 per Ib. so the checker called the associate and she went to check the price. When she (Marsha) came back, she said, "That's right but I cannot give you like that; it was a mistake,"and I corrected that. I replied, "As a customer, I went with the price that was on the ad and therefore it should be priced according to the ad." The associate, Marsha, got so mad and replied, "I can give one eggplant on that price and rest you have to buy at $1.48 per Ib."
I refused and said, "According to Walmart policy, they go with the ad price." She stood right in my face and said, "Ya, ya... Whatever." I was urged to see the store manager. By that time, I was so embarrassed and insulted in front of the crowd there. It was not about the eggplant or the price. it was her attitude and my humiliation, a degrading experience that I wanted to talk to the manager. I felt like a victim as she talked to all other associates that were standing around and everybody's eyes were on me, like I did something wrong.
In the delay of the manager to come, she refused to talk to me . Before I left the store, I talked to the manager, Chad **, and told him what happened in detail and made a suggestion to customer service retaining for Marsha. This experience has spoiled my one day off that I had just because I came to Walmart to shop where associates make their own decision and do not follow the policy. I will appreciate it if these kinds of poor attitudes be changed and no other customer should have to go through what I encountered in Walmart in Forney.

I visited Walmart late at night (probably 1 or 2AM) with a friend, just because we were bored and there isn't much to do in Santa Clarita at night. We were wandering around the store when we ran into the pet department. It was absolutely appalling. There were dead fish in every aquarium. I know that fish die, but this was like carnage. There were dead fish all over the tanks. There were also a lot of fish flailing around, suffering a slow and painful death. Next I saw the betta fish in their little plastic jars (customary because they will attack each other otherwise). They were literally rotting alive in their containers, surrounded by weeks (if not months) of their own feces. Several of them looked torn up and mangled. Someone probably put them in the same container and had them fight.
I immediately opened the cupboards above the fish looking for bowl conditioner for the bettas so I could change their water, but I found nothing. There wasn't an employee in sight. I understand that this was late at night, but this was at least weeks of buildup and no one had changed the water. I grabbed a double betta tank and took the two fish who looked like they had a fighting chance, paid for the fish and the rest of my merchandise, and left the store. I got home, cleaned the new tank, gave the bettas some fresh water and food, and they seem to be doing okay now. I won't be surprised if one or both of them die soon, though.
I do not always shop at Walmart, but severe mistreatment like this makes me not want to shop there ever again. I am so disgusted and saddened by the treatment of these fish. If Walmart is not willing to hire someone knowledgeable (or at least not stupid) to take care of these fish, they should not be allowed to carry them at all.

I'm just tired of being ripped off! Last night I went in to shop. In the back of the store was a large display of calendars. On each side of the display (north, south, east and west) was a sign with 8 tall letters displaying $9.97. So I picked up a calendar for my office at work. When the cashier scanned the calendar, it asked her to enter code. This calendar had two UPCs on it from the manufacturer. But what I had not seen was a 1 inch x 1 inch sticker that said $12.97 ($3 more than what the signage on the display had stated). When she scanned the sticker and I saw $12.97 pop up, I told her that the sign over all the calendars had stated $9.97. She told me, "But it has a sticker on it." So I told her to call a manager.
Stacy (customer service manager) came and asked me what was wrong. I told her the same thing. She told me it didn't matter what the signage said. It had a sticker on it. Maybe someone had stuck it there by accident. I told her there were dozens of them and I doubt that anyone but an employee would have done that. She just shrugged her shoulders. I watch my receipts from Walmart carefully. Usually, if I buy more than 30 items at one time, I will find at least one item that scanned the wrong price. I guess they are rich enough to either pay the fines to Weights and Measures or pay them off. I would shop elsewhere, but they are opened 24 hours and I work late.

I purchased organic baby carrots (code # 003263134100) and the shelf tag stated $0.98 for the price. At the checkout it rang up $1.98 and didn't notice until I was a home looking at the register slip. I returned to the store and received a refund. I explained to the manager that this was not the first time that this has happened and that it was a company-wide problem.
What I would like to have happen if someone has enough fight in them to go up against this giant and do a check on all of their price postings and compare them to their check out registers. I know that this is a company-wide problem. And I do recall that when Walmart first started in my small town, if the price posted did not match at the checkout, you receive the item for free. Now it seems that they try and do it because they know that most people do not check their register slips; and if they do it's too big of a hassle to return to the store. I admit that I do try and catch them at what they are doing, but I do not have the education background to really do anything about it. I will leave this up to the experts; but I am willing to help in any way possible to cure this company of this habit.

My Walmart isn't horrible, but the pet department... a mess. I was there 2 weeks before Christmas and then there again a week after. Now I understand it's the holidays. But first off, not one person even straightened out this section - open boxes and product everywhere. The same as almost 4 weeks prior. What really was horrible was the condition of the fish tanks. Now as someone pointed out, yes they are fish. But MY Walmart... the fish aren't taken care of. There are 12 tanks and every single one had fish in them dying.. dead.. stuck to the filters.. Horrible. Not one fish healthy enough to purchase. I have been in pet stores with fish and I have NEVER seen anything so.. morbid.
The fish DIE because no one takes proper care of them. I think they should not sell fish anymore. The poor bettas were over the sink.. Some in barely enough water to even move in. There was a plastic bag FILLED with dead fish in the sink. Most of the time the tanks are empty.. awaiting the next shipment of fish ready to die because no one takes care of them. The tanks are dirty too.
I am sadly a person who rescues the bettas from Walmart. I hate to know they will just die in their bowls because no one bothers to change their water... or at least add fresh water to them. So I am sure they will have them again. But I don't think that Walmart, especially the one in Monticello, NY should continue to sell fish if they can't properly care for them.

I received a PC game for Christmas. Not knowing what everything on the back of the game means, I opened it, inserted it in my computer, and it said it was not compatible for my PC. Now I do not understand everything about this but I returned it to the Fond Du Lac Walmart store with the receipt and was told because I opened it I could only return it for the same exact game.
Well, if the one I had won't work, I do not understand why the same game but new would work. The clerk more or less said I wasn't too smart if I did not read the PC info on the back before opening the game. Even if I would read it and not understand it, what right does she have to tell me I was not smart enough to know it maybe would not work. All I wanted was either money or even gift card to get something else, not to be humiliated or maybe even to exchange it for one that may work. The girl told me I should go back to the PC game area and get the exact same game. She would cut it open and then I could take it home to try, which if the first one did not work, why would another one????????? Very rude to me and almost like I'm pretty stupid for returning a gift I could not use. Her remark was then, "Leave the game and go home with nothing." That is not right. So I want to know what can be done not only about the game but the what I and others call harassment.waiting for some answers.

Wal-Mart newspaper insert for Sunday Jan 4 - Jan 10, 2009 has on page 13 the Wii advertised. It is very clearly marked in the ad that there will be a minimum of 4 Wii's per Store. On Sunday morning Jan. 4 at 8:30, I was at the Wal-Mart located in North Naples, FL on Tamiami trail and was told that they had received NONE, and did not know when they were getting more. They called a super Wal-Mart located on Immokalee Rd, also in Naples, FL and I was told that they had some. I arrived within 10 minutes at the store and was told by a clerk that they had only received 2 and that they were sold. I complained with the manager, as this is clearly FALSE advertising. She also confirmed that they had only received 2 Wii's and checked some other local Wal-Marts and told me that they had not received any.
Consequence: This is very clearly false advertising. I went running around on Sunday morning and then to find out that each store did not even receive 4 items as is very clearly stated in the ad.

My daughter returned a Christmas gift for Xmas. They were too big. Mrs. ** waited on her. The price was half price and she did not have a receipt with it. And we knew that she did not need a receipt or ID for it. But she asked for it and my daughter gave her ID to her. She looked at her and told her that she could not take her ID because it was outdated. She did not know that we knew that you didn't need ID for 8.00 plus tax. She handed her ID back to her and smile and said that she could not take it. So I told her that I was tired of her being rude to her. This is not the first or second time. So she said to me that she did not know her so how could she be rude to her. So she said that she was going to get manager so she went and 4 people came with her. So I told Debbie ** that she was very rude to my daughter and that she could not use her ID. I understand that. But it was under 10.00 didn't need the ID. So the manager told me that she was not going to argue with me and I told her the same. So I asked Vicky what her last name was and she told me that she didn't have to give it to me so I said thank you and left.
I stopped by one of the registers and asked one of the cashiers and she gave me her name. She came out of the customer service and yelled at the cashier and told her not to never give her name to no one. She was yelling very loud. So I called the following Monday and reported it and someone said that someone would call me. Which they did, Kathy **. She asked me what went on and I told her and I told her she was in there when it was going on. She said she wasn't. So I said ok. I told her what happened which it didn't do any good. Cause on Friday the second day of Jan. my daughter and son-in-law went to purchase a Moneygram. Mrs. ** asked my son-in-law if she could ask him a question and he said yes. She said, "Have I ever been rude to you?" He said no. So she pointed to my daughter and said that "her mother gave me a chewing out like I have never had." And she pointed straight to my daughter. This really made me feel so offended. I was really upset she has brought a single person into this. See she was very rude to my daughter once again because she did not know for sure she was with him just cause she was standing behind him so I did the right thing and I call out to Wal-Mart to see if Kathy ** was there and they said she would be in about a hour.
So I went out there to tell her what had happened that day. So I asked her if she had spoken to her and she reply that she was not at work on that Thursday. But it seems to me that she would have spoken to her on Tuesday or that Wednesday. It seems to me that she was not going to take this serious. To me it is very serious. I told Kathy that I was going to call corp. again and talk someone once again. She said that she would talk to her. And do u know that she didn't even say she was sorry that she did that to me. I am sorry to say that we have some of the unfriendly people working at our store. So if you were in my shoes what would you do in this situation? Yes I know the answer. I feel like that Mr. ** will not do nothing to the cashiers and mangers he has at his store as long as they get your money, that is all that matters. But I feel like that something needs to be done with this problem. Really. She has offended me for the last time and my daughter. I will look forward to speaking to someone in the morning about this.

At the time of purchase, she was being very rude to a co-worker about a cash register conflict, and right after that she started being rude to the girl that was helping us check out our items... BEING VERY RUDE!!! Later on about 35 min. later, I brought the scope back to trade for another gun scope that worked. At that time she got very agitated at me and my 12-yr-old son and told us that she and the man working in the sports section register were not qualified to make the exchange VERY RUDELY. I wish I had that on camera.
This has been an ongoing behavior at this store for many years because nobody does anything about IT!!! This isn't the first time I've seen this happen at this store. I lived in Berryville, Arkansas for 5 yrs. and the store and service there was fabulous and the store in Maui, Hawaii was also a great store. The Pocatello, Idaho store is absolutely TERRIBLE! Management is horrible. Please take this complaint seriously as I'm also informing your Bentonville corp. office. Thank you for doing something about IT! I'm sick of spending thousands of dollars at this store and being treated like crap...

I am a regular Walmart customer and I hardly had have to return any merchandise, but I purchased a Nintendo DS on 12/12/08 for Christmas for my daughter at Walmart in Baldwin Park, California. What happened is that my sister gave her the same electronic piece so I decided that I will return the one that I purchased since the one my sister got for her came with a game included and it was less expensive. The problem was that I could not find the receipt for it so I went online and printed out my personal bank statement where you can find the transaction to prove that Walmart charged for it. I took the printed transaction to the Store on 1/03/09 and the Customer Service representative said that she could not do anything without the original receipt. I asked her if I can get credit for it at least and she was very impolite and replied saying again that there is nothing she can do for me. I am very upset about this incident and I don't think that I will ever purchase anything at this store any more.

I work at Walmart and the number one thing that is responsible for mistakes is the traffic flow. Every one wants it as cheap as they can get it. That's what Walmart provides. Also, they want it done right now, not later which causes problems. There are about 100,000 policies they have to go by in order to complete the vehicle; and somehow get it done right with a customer screaming at the top of their lungs because their car is not done yet and there were 9 to 10 cars in front of them and maybe 1 to 2 techs working. Being rushed causes mistakes.
I have worked there many years now and have seen it happen over and over. When they're not rushed, they are able to think about what they are doing. If they are rushed, all they think about is, "How can I get this car out of here," which leads in mistakes made. Also, in response to the accusation that they lack experience, I would like to inform everyone that they receive the training they need to do a very professional job. With all the policies, it is hard to make a mistake unless they are distracted (such as being rushed by the customer). There are a number of policies to make sure a customer's car is not damaged in any way.
Most rules we have today are because of customer complaints. If we find that we cannot work on your car for some reason or another, it is because a customer in the past ruined it for you by complaining and crying about it. In my experience, most, not all, people are out there to make an easy dollar and will almost every time sue a major company. I believe if the tech is negligent, Walmart should pay for the damage.
In response to the questions about the fuel system cleaner I have, I would like the customers to be assured that the fuel system cleaner that gets run through the system will not damage your injectors. It's diluted in the fuel that is in the tank and will not cause any problems. It has also been proven to be O2 and cat safe. The tech should run the car after the service to ensure all the chemicals are ran out. The car should be left running for 3 to 5 min. to complete the first step; the full service should take up to 30 to 35 min. Most of the time this is done with an oil change and it takes time to do a good job.
In response to the complaints that there are not enough techs, I will agree. However, I would like everyone to understand that it is very difficult to work in an environment where you know every day at least half of your customers will treat you like an idiot and claim that you could not possibly know what you are doing. This is the leading cause of people wanting to quit or transfer. We'll go through a crew every couple of months (the store I work at is actually better than the average).
It is not that they are stupid; it is the frustration of getting pulled off their car by other customers that walk up to the bays and ask 100 different questions. I will probably get pulled off a car by a customer 3 times before I'm done which leads to a longer wait. I can't ignore them or they get mad and go complain. This also leads to more mistakes and damages. At the particular store that I work, we have been fortunate enough to have the same crew for a while. There are mostly mature adults working in our shop. Currently we strive as a team to make sure everything is done by policy. However little mistakes are made (we are human after all).
For example if we overfill a car with oil, we would catch it because the policy requires us to check it 3 separate times before leaving the bay. If everyone would follow policy, there would be fewer mistakes. Any interruption could cause a mistake. It is very important that a tech finishes a car they have started without being pulled off. I am not taking sides. I have read a lot of these complaints and there are a lot of things I agree with the customer on. However, I feel I must point out that many times the customers that complain about the service they receive at Walmart are eager to listen to the opinion of just any random person who will agree with them.
I have also noticed that often the mechanics these said customers tend to use take advantage of Walmart's reputation and sell them stuff they don't need. On a different note, I would like everyone to know that oil changes are preventive maintenance. Many people bring their car to Walmart after there is a problem, rather than to prevent a problem. Often, the customer then leaves and listens to every squeak and rattle and swear up and down that it didn't do it before they brought it in. Then they take it to a mechanic who uses a scan tool that gives them a general idea of what is causing the problem.
Unfortunately, many mechanics do not have the most advanced scan tools due to their extreme cost. This means that they are taking an educated guess because their scan tool does not specifically pinpoint the exact problem. Many mechanics do a great job at diagnosing the problem, but please be aware that like a medical diagnosis you may need a second opinion with the fault. I would like to be very clear that there are policies that Walmart has that I don't agree with but I know they are in place to ensure good customer service. I follow even the policies I don't like or agree with because I take pride in my work and strive for excellent customer service.
I have read these complaints and certainly acknowledge that many of these claims should have been paid. There are also many that according to the information provided could not have been caused by Walmart. I would like to let everyone know that we try very hard to do our jobs quickly; however, there will be a wait. We cannot wave a magic wand and put everyone at the front of the line and do away with the many variables that can happen. I must note that many of the people who complain the loudest and demand that their car should have somehow been finished as soon as they pulled into the parking lot sit in a doctor's office all day and will not raise their voice to anyone who works there.
I would also like to point out that Walmart has the benefit of shopping while you wait. Not many other places have that convenience. I would like everyone to know that I think Walmart is a great company to work for and I am grateful to all the customers who provide this opportunity. I would also like to note that I am fully aware that every customer is not out to get us. I just wanted to show another perspective and perhaps explain some of the things that have been addressed on this site.

I would like to complain about your fish in the animal department. On Tuesday, November 30, 2008, I was in one of your stores in the animal department. I saw 2-3 dead fish. Not only dead, but decaying. This was one of the NUMEROUS occasions that I had seen dead fish in your stores. I once bought 2 fish in one of your stores. While driving home, one of the fish died. Later that day, the other fish died. I understand fish die, but not like this.

On two occasions, recently on 12/27/2008, I have purchased meat which has been preserved with salt. Unfortunately the salt content is so high that the meat is almost inedible. On the first occasion, several weeks ago, I returned rib-eye steaks after they were cooked and tasted, and received my money back. The recent purchase on Dec. 27th, I purchased pork ribs (for grilling) for $27.94. After cooking on the grill, I tasted the ribs and found them to be so salty that they too were inedible. It is my contention that Walmart allows, maybe even requires, their meat suppliers to over-salt the meats in order to preserve them for extended periods. I feel that the consumers are having to eat meat that is perhaps very old yet preserved with way too much brine solution. The meats should be fresh and they should be edible. I have heard from friends that they have resorted to shopping at other stores because they have experienced the same problem.

I found a Brother sewing machine in the clearance for $50.00. Regular price is about $79.99. I asked the checker if there was anything wrong since the tag said it was an inventory prep. She said probably not. When I got it home and started to use it, it has no scuttle for the bobbin, which virtually renders it unusable. When I called the store, they said just to bring it back for a refund. I want the machine, not the refund. I only want them to make the purchase good and not to resell it to someone else. The machine is not usable without this part. If it is returned, they will resell it to someone else and it still won't work. I felt I got a good deal for a change at Walmart, and then find it does not work.

Someone stole my business banking info and passed checks at Walmart. Two different Walmarts in the Columbia, SC area. The total amount stolen was $1300.00 in one week. I was able to recover the money but now the company, TeleCheck, has filed a collection against me for the money! My money that someone stole!! It's far from over - how does it happen? How can it be prevented? I decided to test my local Walmart in Orangeburg, SC; I wrote a personal check for $189.00 and the cashier did even request to see ID. I asked her the store policy - she referred me to the Walmart Customer Mgr. She apologized and said it was policy and was not sure why the cashier did not follow policy. Walmart needs to be held responsible for not following their own policy and the protection of the consumer. It appears they are only interested in getting the money no matter where it comes from or who they hurt. Americans need to stand up to this criminal practice.

I ordered a picture throw blanket for my mom for xmas. They called on the 19th of Dec to say it was ready. I did not have the money to pick it up until the 23rd. I went on the 24th at around 10:30 am. They could not find it. They were supposed to call me as soon as it was found. Now I thought you were open until 8pm and since by 7pm no call from photo lab I call them. The same woman I spoke with that morning answered and said, "we are closed." I said, "well I want to know if you ever found my mothers gift? I was there earlier." I said my name is Jenny **. She said, "oh yeah the throw we did find it but now we are closed and won't be open til the 26th." So that ruined my gift for my mother. Why didn't they call me when it was found? I had no present for mom on xmas morning!!!!! I order a 100.00 gift and it's still there because of non-caring employee.
