Stores are generally clean. Not enough staff in the merchandise aisles to respond to the customers' need. Quality of merchandises are lower than average, unless buying for certain needs. There are enough stores around state of IL, so does not requires long driving.

I was recently fired from Walmart due to absence. I understood where she was coming from. But I felt like I wasn't being understood in the beginning of my job. I had a miscarriage. I was out of work for 3 4 days then my babysitter quit on me. I had no one to take the kids. And I was out for another 3 days which counted as one absent. Which to me I felt was legitimate reasons of not attending work. Then I was very sick and in the hospital and brought an excuse from the hospital of being absent which still did not count to them as a legitimate reason for missing work. So indeed I am very upset!

On July 20, 2015 at approx. 1:15 pm, I went into Walmart (345 Hwy 6 in Sugar land, TX) to return a pair of shoes that were too small for my elderly mother. When I approached the line there were 2 customers in front of me. One lady was standing to the side of the line talking to her 2 children with two baskets full of school supplies. I asked her if she was in line, and at first she responded nervously "yes, but you can go ahead" and she continued to talk to her children. When it was time to go to the register, I went up to the desk and the manager over the Customer Service Dept. told me in a loud voice "That lady was in front of you. Get back in line or I will call the police." At this point I was startled and could not move and before I could say anything a loss prevention guy walks up to me in my personal space and yells "Get back in line or get out." At this point I look around and noticed 4 or 5 customers in line.
I proceeded to tell him I was already in line, when he yelled at me again "Get back in line or get out." I asked him for his name and he immediately showed me his badge and continued to yell at me "As a matter of fact, get out and never come back." At this point I had tears welling in my eyes because all I could think of, I have been patronizing this store for 10 years and I do not know what is going on. I was brave enough to ask for the manager at this point. The manager who was the cashier abruptly said "I am the manager." Then I said "no, I want the manager of the store." I still had this big loss prevention guy in my personal space. I proceeded to the kiosk where the CSS stand and I asked again, "I want to see the manager." The lady there got on the radio and told me to wait a moment.
During this time I realized I needed to show or have proof of this incident so I took out my cell phone and took a picture of this guy who I later found out he was a security hired by Walmart. The manager said after she arrived, he was not suppose to talk to you like that. She proceeded to return my item and refunded the shoes, but by now I am afraid to go to my car, in fear of seeing the same security guy outside. The manager sent 2 cashiers out with me. I could not remember where I parked. I called my son when I found my car and I had to go to the emergency room. My blood pressure was sky high, and my stomach felt like I had a hole in it. The most hurtful thing of all is I have been going to this Walmart getting medications, shopping for myself, mom, and my grandkids for over 10 years. I forgot to mention the security guy posed for the picture when he saw me aim the camera and he said "Did you get a good one?" WOW.

Ordered the Mainstay gazebo via Walmart.com in April for 198.00, and unfortunately we did not assemble it immediately. When we were completed with our landscaping project and had decided where to place the gazebo my husband opened the box only to find no instruction manual with a list of parts and worse of all NO netting and it looks like someone previously tried to assemble it and returned it!!! I contacted Walmart's customer service only to be pushed off to the manufacturer and now I wait for them to return my call. I realize it's past Walmart's 90 day return policy, but I'm not asking for a refund, I simply want what I paid for!!!

I purchased an RCA Tablet #rct6203w46 as well as the "extended warranty" in Laguna Niguel in Feb upon opening up a new Walmart CC. I asked the employee working back there about each of the tablets & she was pretty much useless. She told me "I really don't know much about these tablets. It just depends on what you want." WHY IS SHE WORKING IN ELECTRONICS & WHY WASN'T SHE TRAINED BETTER?? USELESS! After 3 weeks the tablet shut off & stopped working even after charging it. I called Asurion, which was a joke because they don't even cover the tablet in the first yr unless I broke it. I was directed to call RCA & it took an hour to reach someone. They wanted me to pay for shipping in order to receive a new tablet. I wrote the BBB & filed a complaint. Someone from RCA contacted me & said they would send me another tablet.
It took a month to get the tablet. I got the tablet & tried downloading apps that & half of them were incompatible w/ the tablet. I tried calling RCA, & left messages w/ managers. I got no response from anyone there. I filed another complaint w/ BBB & someone from Walmart contacted me by the name of "Manager Mike." He said he would "look & see what he could find" & call me back. He said he was able to find a tablet. I exchanged the tablet, took it home, & found out that the tablet had the EXACT SAME ISSUES! It is now July & I have been paying on the tablet on my Walmart CC since Mar. I called Jana at the BBB & spoke w/ both her & her mgr & all they could tell me was to call RCA tech support. They tried telling me the tablet was functional even though I can't use half the apps I need. WHO BUYS A TABLET & USES IT FOR EVERYTHING EXCEPT APPS? HOW FUNCTIONAL IS A TABLET W/O APPS?
I called RCA tech support & I was told to do a hard reset & I should be able to download my apps. Wrong! I completed the hard reset & still can't download the apps I need. RCA then tells me to go to a website & put in my info, then I would receive a shipping label in about 2 weeks. Then I had to ship the tablet back & it would take about a month. So that's ANOTHER MONTH & A HALF W/O THE TABLET I'M STILL PAYING FOR?!? That takes me into September before I receive another tablet that will most likely have the same issues. I would be paying 6 months for a tablet that I got 3 weeks of usage out of. RCA said they would send me a remanufactured tablet... & it would be the same one. This entire experience is absurd & asinine as well as a waste of time and money. DO NOT EVER BUY ELECTRONICS FROM WALMART!

Twice, the store managers told me to take a Saturday off and work on a Sunday (my day off), never did their job and change my schedule. So it showed no call, no shows. 3 times they (the managers) told me to come in at 11am instead of 8:30am, so it shows me being late. When I was coached for it, I told them that they told me to the do these shifts, they said that it was too late to change the computer so it stands as is. They said that the next time I call in or late, I will be fired. I have a new boss that's over my department, she told me to work on late Monday (my day off) and take Tuesday off. I told her about what was said to me about being fired if I miss my day of work, and please change it on the computer.
4 times I went to her about changing schedule and she said "I will", never did. So now I might be fired when I go back because of lazy management. I don't think I should be in trouble because they (the lazy management) is telling me to do these shifts. They tell me to clock in early and work 8 hours but don't change it on the computer.

Well, I was terminated on my day off. Didn't receive a phone call or anything. I did not signed any termination papers and don't know who terminated me. I called to speak with the store manager and they would always say that he was busy or not available so I had to call the corporate office for him to call me and now I am having trouble reaching the regional hr manager. I still don't know who terminated me. All I know was it was done when I wasn't on the clock.

This was before Summer and we were experiencing a heat wave with high humidity and high temps in the high 90's. They did not hire any help so, that just left me. I think this was planned. It was so hot I was out of work with heat exhaustion and had to go to the hospital because of dehydration and I had been drinking water and Gatorade at work.

This incident occurred July 18, 2015 at around 10pm. This most recent Walmart experience has equated to be the absolute worst store experience I ever had in my life. However, before I get to the details, Let me explain from the top. My aunt had purchased a microwave for my wife and I as a wedding gift. Upon arrival of the gift, we plugged in the item and found to be defective. The microwave did not work, so consequently, I drove to a local Walmart store (16205 S Military Trl, Delray Beach, FL 33484) to remedy this situation. Once at Walmart, I walked straight to the customer service area and began explaining my situation. Soon I was told I needed to speak with the customer service manager. The customer service manager arrived, and I explained again what had happened (how the item was send from Walmart online as a gift and that it was new but defective).
Quickly before I could explain, the customer service manager (named: Charlen or Charleen - can't recall her name) shut me down and told malmart.com and that nothing can be done from within the store. I then explained once more that it was a gift and the only documentation I had was the shipment label on the box and the date of arrival. I also stated that Walmart ie I needed to contact Ws the parent company of Walmart.com, and that the online store is essentially the same as the brick and mortar; thus, I should have the opportunity to return the item at the store.
I got my wife on the phone to further explain how my aunt had purchased the item, and that because of this, we lacked a receipt. To my surprise, the manager tossed the phone at me, waving her arms and aggressively telling me (in a loud voice) "I'M TELLING YOU I CANT HELP YOU!" This behavior shifted my mood. I turned to this "manager" and expressed just how rude her behavior had become (shouting at me and disposing of the phone while my wife was still speaking). I quickly told her I was going to start record the conversation as I felt thing would get sour quickly. However, due to my influx of negative emotion, I accidentally deleted a previous message as opposed to recording. :/
Soon things got really ugly. The manager pulled me to the customer service area and said "YOU WANNA RECORD ME? Fine!!! COME ON HERE AND LET'S LET EVERYONE BE A WITNESS. I CAN'T HELP YOU! WHAT DON'T YOU UNDERSTAND? You need to go online and figure it out. We don't even have this item at our store." Now embarrassed and angry, I turned to leave the store. This customer service manager should be fired. Her actions were aggressive and extremely upsetting. Because of she is a reflection of the Walmart brand. Because if this experience, I can't help but think twice before entering any Walmart.

After I fell, a kind gentleman (customer) stopped to load the rest of the bags for me. You'd think a company as large as Walmart would offer better customer service than that. Instead, it stinks. I was in line in the 20 items or less checkout for several minutes when I noticed the people two ahead of me had two carts filled to the brim with items and were still checking out. Every four or five bags they would stop and use a different credit card. The elderly man behind me went to find a manager. When the manager arrived she refused to do anything about it, and said that anyone has the right to use the 20 or less no matter how many items they have, that there is no policy.
The checkout clerk was so rude to the woman directly ahead of me who made a simple comment and told her not to come back if she didn't like waiting as well as a slur over the fact she was Hispanic. I told the clerk that was racial and unacceptable. Then she told me if I didn't like waiting I should go start a fight with the man who had the two carts full of items because she could care less if I waited the rest of my life. Then she yelled at the elderly man behind me and asked if he also had a problem? He didn't say a word to her. Never been treated so rudely. I tried to inform them I have been but it doesn't take that long for something to ship. By the fourth call, I called and spoke with manager. He informed me that the order had been returned and refunded. I never requested for the order to be returned. When asked when will money be in account, he stated "oh on the 15."
Something didn't sit right with me, called CS expressed concern, rep seemed to care less. I asked to speak with supervisor and was placed on hold for 45 minutes. When the supervisor returned to phone, it sound like the same guy. I was told by CS the TV was shipped to store and there was no refund or return on account. Told him what store manager said. I was there with my kids and went to the bathroom to come out and the loss prevention and police department was there waiting for me, got my children, took me to the back and asked me where my printer ink was that was in my buggy. I told them "It was in there" and they proceeded to tell me that I was trying to steal stuff from their store because an old friend of mine was talking to me when I was looking for my daughter a comforter set and she was the one trying to steal stuff but because her husband works for Wal-Mart I am the one who gets in trouble even though I had no idea what was happening. I am now having to go to court and everything.
The second was Gun Barrel TX. I slipped and fell, went to the hospital, found out that I broke my kneecap, but Wal-Mart but the store refused to do a accident report. So I will never spend another dime in there. I have to miss work. I now have a record and Wal-Mart could not care less.

I placed an order through Walmart.com for a tennis table - it was supposed to be a birthday gift for a friend. I used a Visa gift card to purchase it, and made sure the Visa had extra money in it just in case. I placed the order and paid extra for shipping so it would get there on time. 2 days later and it was during business days the order is still in process. I called Wal-Mart customer service, they said they were not able to process the payment. So I checked my Visa - the balance was 5.10 dollars. I called the Visa customer service - they confirmed that the money has been withdrawn.
So I called Wal-Mart again, they said it's because there isn't enough funds that's why they were still processing the Visa. So I asked them "What do you mean there isn't enough funds? You already withdrew the money." They said: "Well you know if you buy x for 10 dollars we charge 11 dollars and hold on to that 1 dollar until payment is due." I was like: "Huh..." First of all there was extra balance in that card hence the 5.10 dollars left. Anyways after talking with a supervisor they apologized and offered me 45 dollars gift card which I refused. The table was supposed to be a birthday gift and it missed my best friend's birthday. So I was like okay maybe it was a one time thing.
So I placed a replacement order and asked them to cancel that one! Which they did... the other order has been returned. So the guy initiated a return process because the item was still in processing stage. This morning I receive an email saying my order was delayed - the replacement order and that they would let me know if it gets shipped or canceled later on. I called Wal-Mart again and waited for over 30 min. The person I spoke to assured me that they placed a cancellation and that it will get canceled in 24 to 48 hours. So I decided to call in again at night just to make sure it is the case. I spoke to one of the representatives and to her supervisor, they both said it's only an attempt to cancel and nothing is for sure.
After I insisted and requested to cancel the whole thing and me asking for a refund, especially after the email I got from them this morning... They both said the same thing, that we can't cancel the item it's attempting to cancel although, the other item - the first one, they were able to cancel it by initiating a return! Add to that the lady supervisor I spoke to today on 7-11-2015 at 9:20 pm was trying to stifle her laughter as she was talking to me... Now, I really do not understand what kind of customer service they have nor what kind of shipping but from my experience I would say it was more than lacking! My question is, as a customer how would I trust a business that deal with their customers like that? Also, usually if you want to retain a customer you try to fix your mistake not make it worse. I won't be dealing with them ever again that for sure!

We were at the Walmart located at 4975 Transit Rd., Depew NY. I had told the cashier I wanted to put $30 on my credit card 2 times. What did she do? She charged my card the full amount. She knew she did this because before I could sign my name she said to me, "The full amount was charged. You can go to customer service which is right over there and they can fix it for you." The customer service manager said she was going to void the whole transaction so my card would not be charged.
After being in the store for over 2 hrs now she tells me to call customer service and they will give me a gift card for inconvenienced. Well what she did is voided out the transaction on their registers but never credited my card. Starting on Tues I tried to get this fixed. I called the store and the 800# for 4 days. Not one phone call back from the store manager **. Keep in mind they are tying up my mortgage payment and my electric bill money. Then I speak with ** (Asst Store Manager) what a trip. She wouldn't let me get a word in edgewise and she claims if I wanted this fix I better listen to what she has to say because she is the only one who can fix it because she is the #1 Asst Manager and she has been with Walmart for 20 yrs. I told her she is probably one of the reasons Walmart is where they are today.
Then the 3rd time calling customer service I finally get the Area Manager's phone number only to be given the wrong number and I get told this by ** after I keep telling her I had been trying to get in touch with him. She tells me its the wrong number. She said I had to reverse the 4 & 5 but didn't tell me which 4 or 5 knowing there is more in there. Finally I call my bank and dispute the charges with them after I have called the store and customer service all week. Finally on Fri night I go back to the store and I see the customer service manager. I tell her what I believe happened and she calls the store's Asst Manager ** up and he said he doesn't know whether what she did was right or wrong and he says to the cust service manager to credit my card $131.50.
Now after 30 mins longer we are finally done. I go shopping with my daughter and I see the Asst Manager ** and I tell him what happened and now they have held my mortgage money up for 4 days and now it's the weekend and it's going to be another 4-5 days before I get it back and all he can say is it should not have taken this long to straighten this out or for me to get my money back. Where does Walmart hire their staff from? Because both my bank and I knew where the mistake was and ** claims she was the only one who knew where the mistake was and when she tried to tell me her theory. It wasn't even the correct one. I guess we know who the smart people are and where the not so smart people work. BUYERS BEWARE. IF YOU HAVE PROBLEMS AT THIS WALMART LOOK OUT AND STAY AWAY FROM **.

2300 W Atlantic BLVD Pompano Beach, FL 33069. I bought an android tablet July 4, 2015 in Wal-Mart for my little brother upcoming birthday, July 7, 2015. After complaining of how slow the tablet was, I decided to return it Back to Wal-Mart, July 5, 2015. Wal-Mart said they wasn't having it but decided to give my money back. So I walk back to electronic with my little brother and I buy an IPad-mini, cost around 297 US Dollars. I didn't open it in the store because I trusted Wal-Mart. I went home, open the item and to my founding there was nothing in the IPad-mini box, just tapes wrap inside with something in there that makes it seems like there was something in the empty box.
The same hour, the same day I rush back to Wal-Mart. Managers and customer services saying that all their items comes seal close and that the empty seal close IPad- Mini box was there since May. And Wal-Mart saying that they had situations like mines happens before and that they couldn't help me in that case, they would not be having it with me and that I would have to call Apple and Wal-Mart corporate. Apple saying it didn't come from them, that I didn't buy it from them and probably was an inside job at Wal-Mart.
If you notice my situations it's been happening lately, which is true cause I Google and did some research AND found people have been victim of same crime before. It would be time for improvement right. You can't just assumes that all your products that Wal-Mart receiving from companies are legit. I DO NOT run a business here, why Wal-Mart making it seems like it's my fault.
Wal-Mart should be responsible to be checking everything that comes in and out that store. Wal-Mart is making millions and millions of dollars and does not care about the people’s hard work earn money that's making them sales. Wal-Mart does not care about improvement their way of business. Wal-Mart does not care about their seal policy makes no sense. I CAN’T USE A SEAL CLOSE ITEM, I have to open it. I’m so fed up, I WANT MY REFUND BACK OR MY IPAD I NEVER GOT. WHY SHOULD I HAVE TO TAKE THAT LOST???

Wal-Mart is open 24 hours a day but the fitting room is closed. Waited 20 minutes for someone to open it. If you're open, you're open. If not, close the store. My time is important and should not have Wal-Mart not have part of the store open. Some people shop at night to avoid big crowds but if you wait 20 minutes for someone there's no time saved. Thanks for nothing Mr open 24/7.

My first problem was at checkout. My husband was paying by credit card and asked for $40 cash back. He told the cashier he was not sure it would go through. The payment went through and the cashier said "no sir it did not go through." We stepped away from the register and looked at our receipt. It said change due $40. So it did go through for the cash back and the cashier lied and said it didn't. If I had not looked at my receipt right then I would be out $40. Went back to the cashier who seemed upset that I caught this, went and got someone to open her drawer to give my husband his money.
My second problem. As I was waiting for the cashier to get my husband the money, I was looking over my receipt again and saw a remote control truck I purchased ring up for $19.97 when in aisle it was marked $10. The young man from the customer service desk walked back to where I got the truck. There were 3 other identical trucks in that spot, but the UPC did not match. He went to talk to his manager, who said if the UPC doesn't match I could not have it for that price even though there were 3 other trucks in that spot. Everyone was so rude to me even though they tried to STEAL $40 from me. Only the young man at their service desk was kind.

Let me just start by saying that Walmart likes to accuse the cashiers of stealing from the cash registers. I am not the only one that has said that they will pull you into the office and say that it was short due to a simple mistake of a push of a button and expect you to sign something. Secondly, if you leave work to go to the er don't expect them not to hold it against you and they will not accept a doctor's note. How about working in the garden center on a 90 degree day for 9 hours and all you get is ice water and a fan. And lot forbid you get dizzy to the point of the entire store spinning. You don't dare sit down for a minute because they will chew you out. I guess they would rather have you fall over and crack your head open and sue them than have you sit down for a minute.

I have been involved in several occasions where the cashier has no customer service and isn't friendly. We went to purchase a bike from Walmart store #2941, and the pricing said $99 on the rake under the picture of the bike. We were so happy because this was a gift for my mother birthday. So when we went to the front it rang up at $157. We were like, "no, it said $99 on the rake where the picture and the bike was." So Manager Marvin was called over, and he already seemed to be mad, said he was going to check on it. He went back and came back telling us no, that is the wrong price, and all he could do was 10% because he didn't want to honor the store's mistake and provide customer service due to the store error.
HE continued to argue and talk over us then walked away after we said we were going to call the head office. We did, while calling I went back to check and the price was still there on the picture of the bike. He had not fixed the error, when I questioned him. He said, "I'm too busy to worry about that right now." He was just back there and he did not care to fix the problem at that time and/or save a customer. He argued with us and as a customer it was disrespectful, and cruel to treat us like we were liars and wrong. All because the store had placed the bike for $99. If proof of a picture is need, I have it. This store and company has lost another customer due to poor management and care for the customer.

I filled out an accident report. From there we went to the emergency hospital to get it an x-ray. My foot was swelling immediately, turning black and blue, and in horrible pain. The shooting pain continued for two weeks. They found that my foot was not broken but badly bruised. Now Walmart's insurance company refuses to pay any of those medical bills. The sprinklers were ordered using my credit card and I was standing beside her as we were trying to get the sprinklers. I offered my ID and the credit card that was used to buy the sprinklers. We had the confirmation number and the actual email that was sent for pickup of the items. The time was approximately 11:00 am on June 30, 2015. The associate manager and store manager (Milledgeville, Georgia store) both told us that since my wife didn't put an alternate pickup person on the shipment and since she didn't have her photo ID, that we could not pick up the items even though I was standing there with her with all the info they should need.
They also told us that we couldn't send the items back without her photo ID. We live about 18 miles from the store, therefore another 36 miles round trip would be required. I asked the manager to see the written policy that she kept referring to and she stated that if all of Walmart's policies were posted on the wall that they would cover the entire store. In other words, I wasn't furnished the written policy. I believe in having policies but I also believe in common sense. Incidents like the one described above is why Kroger, Lowe's and several others are kicking Walmart's butt in the Milledgeville, Georgia area!!! Not understanding, I inquired again, and received a huffy reply, "I told you, there were call outs." There were many employees in the store; and a number of assistant managers were just sitting around on their behinds in the managers office. I wondered couldn't someone have gotten off their behind and serviced the deli?
I made many calls and wrote many emails to Walmart, asking for the store manager, then market manager, and finally the regional manager to contact me about this store experience. Although I was given the impression by the customer service representative that they would call me, they did not. I am very disappointed in the kind of service that I have experienced from management and will no longer shop there. This is the second disappointing experience I had with management at Walmart this year. I would like to add, though, that the non-management employees at Walmart generally have given me good service.

This is the third and LAST time my husband and I will ever use Walmart.com or even support by shopping in a Walmart store. Placed an order yesterday morning for 4 bags of charcoal on sale and we were supposed to receive confirmation by 1:31PM to pick up at the store. We waited and waited. At 2:50PM I called the store and they said they had not received anything yet and to try back in an hour. Some of us actually work for a living and can't sit by computers and phones all day waiting. My husband sent an email around 5:00PM last night and not a single response.
I called the store this morning and still they had not received the order. Seriously??? I was told to contact Walmart.com and was given the number. I called that number and was told it had not been authorized. WHAT??? You take the money from our bank account within 2 seconds and then don't authorize it??? And there is no notification it was not "authorized"? Sounds like thievery to me. Not only do you take our money but you keep your product. Then to make it even more confusing, we get an immediate confirmation emailed that we have cancelled the order. How is it cancelled when you supposedly didn't authorize it in the beginning?
The first time we ordered from there that is exactly what happened and we never received the money back. We had ordered several games for a Wii for our children for Christmas. I went round and round with Walmart and FedEx. Walmart claimed FedEx picked up the order and FedEx claimed Walmart never sent them order to pick up. We never received our games, we never got our money back and our girls went without Christmas presents. Glad somebody's kids had a nice Christmas at our expense. All I can say now is I had best see this money back in our bank account this time!!!
The second time we had ordered the new Keurig. I thought picking it up at the store wouldn't be a hassle. Wrong! I spent almost an hour because the girl "couldn't find" it in the system. By name, phone number, email, order number. Really? It's that hard? Once I began to throw one of my infamous tantrums stupid people cause me to have every now and then, the information magically appeared in her system. DO NOT TRUST USING WALMART.COM OR SHIP TO STORE EVER!!! You will be ripped off, stolen from and left disappointed. Shame on you, Walmart!!! I used to love your store but I will take my business to Amazon from now and never spend a cent in your store again. I hope people read these reviews and decide to do the same. I have never ONCE had an issue with Amazon. I am cutting up my Walmart credit card and closing that account. So disappointed. SMH.

I couldn't understand the ignorance to have fish in aquariums looking like that and treated as such. I complained to the employee in the section, nothing ever happen. No difference, in one ear out the other. I complained to the managers, same thing no difference, same amount of dead fish and ignorance to something that only takes a few minutes to do. At least take out the dead fish even if you don't know what to do to fix the problem of why they are dying. You not have to have ANY DEGREE to take some dead fish out of a tank and it ONLY TAKES NOT EVEN 5 MINUTES!
I finally got fed up and pissed off and wrote corporate an email about the issue at hand. I received a call two days later and was busy so my girlfriend took a message. She told me that one of the head managers from Walmart called and assured me the problem would be taken care of. Later on that same day my girlfriend and I were shopping at that same Wal-Mart and I was looking for a new job at the time because I hated where I was working. I thought to myself well hey I know Walmart employees make decent money and seems like pretty clean cut group of individuals. So I then went back and talked to the gentlemen that had called and was asking questions. They proceeded to tell me the issue to my problem was that they were going to OPEN UP A NEW POSITION to do the maintenance of the fish aquariums.
I then started to tell them that I was currently looking for a new job and told them if they would hire me that I would assure them that kids will be able to enjoy coming to see the fishies because that is the highlight of their Walmart experience. Well guess what... I got the job!!!! So now I am currently working for Wal-Mart in Moundsville, WV. I am happy to take care of the fish that I begged them to take care of. Instead of complaining about it I am now doing something about it. I am very happy to do so and have found that those clean cut individuals are GREAT PEOPLE that get overwhelmed with inventory that they have to stock 24/7. But I put forth the effort to urge them that when I'm not there to just take a few minutes to clean out the dead fish.
I hand cleaned all of the algae and bacteria that was growing for a whole year!! There are less dead fish and I continue to strive to do my best at my job and do EVERYTHING POSSIBLE to assure people can again have a good experience at WAL-MART'S PET SECTION. I even hand out stickers to all the kids that come visit the aquariums and the pet section and it brings joy to me and my heart. Thanks for reading.

Background: The first time the delivery service (Seko Logistics) called and scheduled the delivery I stayed home from work and the delivery service did not arrive. I was at home and I have a 24/7 doorman. I received no call. This was on Friday and on Monday Seko logged in Walmart's system that I refused the item due to damages (before delivery hours even started). This was not true, Seko could not explain the lack of delivery or timestamp of supposed rejection by me. Regardless, I allowed Seko to schedule two more deliveries with me got blown off both times.
I called Walmart and was informed that the next time the delivery service blew me off, Walmart would send a new item through a different carrier. Nonetheless, I was blown off again and Walmart refused to fulfill its prior statement to ship another. I talked to the supervisor, **, and he stated that Wal-Mart's policy is to trust what their freight carriers put into their system regardless of what the customer has called regarding on multiple occasions. ** refused to issue a refund and said I had to schedule another delivery, wait until it arrived, and then reject delivery to receive a refund.
Even if I wanted to do this, the writing's on the wall that the item would once again not arrive. Truly unbelievable - Walmart hands off to a freight service blindly, disregards customer complaints, and clearly does not understand the value of a $400 item compared to cost of customer acquisition, lifelong value of a customer, and the impact on social media.

Anytime that you need to return an item to Wal-Mart, get ready for attitude & hateful sarcasm! You should also be very careful at "Self-Checkout" and I will never use the line again for more than 1 or 2 items. I had around $300-$400 worth of items in my cart at the self checkout, at the Alcoa, Wal-Mart in East Tennessee. I only did this after standing in 2 different regular checkout lines that were backed down aisles because they refused to open more lines, even in the middle of a Sunday afternoon, right directly after I left church. Our diapers had gotten low for infant son in the church nursery, and we didn't realize this until we were almost done shopping and he was actually sitting in his last diaper. So we had already gotten him a pk of diapers anyways, but just needed to hurry because he had actually soiled his diaper while in line & was screaming his head off!
So after waiting at least 15 mins in line, they CLOSED the register for a shift change, but failed to tell anybody until we were next in line! Ok, no big deal usually, because this is the typical customer care you get at "Wal-Mart"! So I went to self checkout which was much shorter. I had to ring everything myself of course which was ok too because there is a clerk there to oversee your transaction to help. After checking out several hundred dollars worth of items, and a few more big items still left on the bottom, and in my husband's cart, our son was screaming so loud that because of his dirty diaper, that we just decided to let his daddy take him on out to the car & let me finish up myself. Because of all the big items that needed an over ride, the cash register attendant just did an entire transaction over ride so I could scan & put the stuff back on the bottom without weighing which she was quite hateful about rolled her eyes several times.
I guess this is what the expected treatment for customers who spend a whole lot of money in their stores, and help pay their salaries. But, I was just trying to overlook it & hurry so my child didn't sit in a dirty diaper screaming in the car. Well, I finally got to the end, and asked the lady specifically if I had gotten everything, and to please do a real quick check of the big items to make sure they were all scanned because my screen didn't show everything & wouldn't let me go back. I had a box of diapers on the bottom that was too big to be bagged along with several high dollar items, some of which that had to be taken to have security tags taken off. I did ring up everything according to my checkout worker and was ready to go. Yes, I was in a hurry because of my son and my phone was ringing with my Hubby saying to hurry up, etc. That's why I wanted to be sure it didn't forget to ring anything.
She came & supposedly double checked, and said to pay, and that I was good to go. I paid my $397.72 bill with 4-$100 bills, got my receipt and proceeded to exit, still in a rush to get my child's diapers to him where I was stopped by "Wal-Mart's Loss Prevention Team"!! I was very confused because I hadn't even rang the alarm when exiting the store. So I figured maybe the cashier had forgotten to remove a security tag for me, even though she rung those items herself. As I turned around in shock, and followed the man's instructions to "follow him", he passed by self checkout & the exact same woman who had just watched my every move, double checked everything for me, and assured me that I had "gotten everything", actually turned & mouthed to the guy escorting me, "That's her". And the guy turned & said very rudely and loudly to me, "SO, YOU DON'T LIKE PAYING FOR DIAPERS HUH"?
Stunned, I replied, "I DID PAY FOR EVERYTHING IN MY CART & THAT LADY DOUBLE CHECKED & CONFIRMED THIS"!! I was then taken to a tiny room, where I was searched, yelled at & humiliated! All while my son is STILL sitting in a dirty diaper over 30 mins later! The cashier had purposely set me up to be arrested for SHOPLIFTING! Even when I had paid for every single thing in my cart, BUT THE CHEAP PACK OF DIAPERS! And had been reassured by the clerk that I had paid for EVERYTHING, didn't matter! They called the cops in, where the officer said, "Guys, I truly believe this was just an accident & even your own clerk said she was good, but then turned around & hit her panic button". He refused to arrest me, but cited me with a citation and court date, even though he arrested all the other people in that room the whole day!
I even had to surrender my new make-up that was in my purse, which they added to the total that I had bought the very day before and still had my receipt for the exact same items, at almost $60! Even though I hadn't went anywhere near health & beauty that day! I had the humiliation of my name in my local newspaper, court, court costs, probation & a mark on my clean record for a pack of diapers! And when the cop thought that the diapers alone were gonna be difficult to prosecute, they had to manufacture more items by taking my own property to add to the total!! Wal-Mart has cost me over $1500 for a pack of diapers! Which would've never happened had they been doing their jobs correctly to begin with! To top it all off, THEY STILL WOULDN'T EVEN LET ME PURCHASE THE DIAPERS! AND HAD TO GO TO A DIFFERENT STORE TO GET THEM!
And as a bigger insult, after they checked my purse and found over $2500 in cash in my wallet (and no, not at tax return time either, this was almost August 2014) they told me since my theft was minimum, I wasn't going to be banned from their store permanently & was welcome to come back there and shop on a different day! WHAT??? THEY BAN SHOPLIFTERS! BUT THEY KNEW I DIDN'T SHOPLIFT AND WAS A BIG BUYER IN THEIR STORE! I will NEVER step foot back in another Wal-Mart if they have to set up their loyal customers as shoplifters! I've heard this same type of malicious prosecution from several other good, middle class families! This is appalling! I will not give Wal-Mart another cent of my money! And I used to spend $2000-$3000 monthly in this store!

This is an accumulation of problems with WalMart. I have complained about the lack of checkers especially at the 20 items or less. Last Saturday I needed a hardware item and I wanted someone to help me. There was no one in that section. I went to the paint department and no one there, I went to sporting goods and no one there, I went to housewares and no one there. I finally walked to the front of the store and located the Ass. Manager and told her what had happened and her reply was that they were helping someone else. I know that is a lie, they simply do not keep enough help on duty to man the registers and departments, service is not in their vocabulary. Today I took back a DVD that would not work and I wanted another one. I was told since I opened it I had to take the same thing which was alright, except they did not have the same thing and so I was out the money and they refused to give me my money back.

It’s 2 weeks before Father’s day and I decided to purchase an Intex Pure Spa for my husband. Researched and saw that this product was being sold at Wal-Mart.com so I purchased this item. Received a confirmation from Wal-Mart and 2 days later received a shipment tracking number from some random company indicating my shipment has been scheduled. I got so nervous thinking someone used my card to make a $400 purchase, and noticed the item was what I had ordered through Wal-Mart. The email went into the return policy and it indicated this product cannot be returned at a store but must be sent back to the manufacturer at the customer’s expense. I WAS LIVID but pacified myself by saying - "Well I should have to return it so I should be okay" - Still bothered that I chose to do business with Wal-Mart but ended up with this company that I have no knowledge about.
WELL... We received the package at 9 AM and my husband was so excited he opened it and began to assemble it. IT WAS DAMAGED!!! Ahhh - At this point I was so upset I wanted to RIOT. LOL. So the fight began - I called customer service at Wal-Mart and after 1 hour and 20 minutes I climbed all the way up the food chain over there thinking they would do right by their customers. WELL that was not the case. I spoke to ** in Tier 2 at corporate headquarters. She was inconsiderate, rude and flat out the worst representative I spoke to that day. The first lady was sweet and apologetic and tried to help in the best way she could. Figures the low paying employee will actually do her job but the BIG WIG in corporate is most likely overpaid and certainly underqualified (in my experience) and all she did was laugh at me on the phone.
The website did not indicate this product was being sold from another vendor and if it did it must have been in the 2 point font disclaimer lost on the page. Recommendation: DO NOT PURCHASE HIGH END ITEMS FROM WAL-MART. FYI: 4 months ago I ordered a loft bed - Let’s just say after 12 replacement parts later I ALMOST got a brand new bed with no damages - I had to take the best of the worst and make it work. Sincerely, Disgusted and never again purchasing customer.

I have seen the fish at Wal-Mart. It's awful how they treat them. I saw a few smaller fish get eaten by a bigger fish and the smaller ones were supposed to be in a different tank. Wal-Mart does NOT at all care about their fish. The tanks look terrible and it looks like a 2 year old cleaned the tank. Wal-Mart just doesn't care.

My friend and I were shopping for a microwave at Walmart in Aberdeen Maryland today. We found several display models with reduced by 25 percent stickers. Clearly dated from June 11, 2015. When we asked if it was just the model on sale we were told that was a mistake and we would have to pay full price. I know that even if it is a mistake they still have to give it to you for the price on the sticker. No one was trying to fix the mistake and it was several display models with these stickers.

At store 2576 in Cross Lanes WV I worked there for little over a year in produce. And just got fired for complete **. For beginners our store manager ** is a complete **. He is completely rude, treats everyone including customers like dogs. He has lawsuits against him by different people. And the only reason he is still a store manager is cause his uncle is up there on the Walmart ladder.
And there is one of the assistant managers named ** who also treats everyone like dogs. He gets by with everything because of the color of his skin. He has threatened to fire me in tons of different occasions for bull reasons. One is for missing too many days because the state of WV was in a state of emergency because of heavy snow multiple times and the public buses didn't run and at the time was my only transportation to work. Which is against the law and should not be counted against the person but it was for me. And then got the flu and went to the doctor and the doctor gave me an excuse for about a week. But the managers wanting me to come in and work anyway know that I had the flu. Why would I want to come in when I have the flu and deal with fresh food and customers. That's a health violation right there. And the days I missed was counted against me even with a doctor's excuse.
And there is our produce department manager ** which is why I got fired. Here's the story the day before ** told me and someone else to take out the bad food to our organic dumpster and clean up the produce back room before noon. Which I was the only one who did it and the other person goofed off and then clocked out and just left me to finish it. I got 95% of the bad food ready then went on my last break and come back and finish it and clean up everything. Then ** went back there and started complaining about it and yelling at everyone and treating us like complete crap. So I finished it and clocked out. Came back the next day to start my shift and ** called me back to the office and said I have bad attendance and a poor job performance and let me go and kept the other person. So store #2576 can kiss my **.

I was in the scrapbooking and crafts department when I spotted a shelf with clearance items. One of them was a pad of card stock which was priced at only $1. Well, at least there was a large orange sticker on it that said $1. When I picked it up I realized why, and the cover looked as though someone tried to play kickball with the pad and part of it was all torn up. The pages inside were still pretty good after the first 3 or 4 pages though, so I thought, well for a buck I can live with that.
When I went to pay for it the cashier rang it up at the regular price of $7. I said, "Look the sticker says $1." She gave me a stare of hatred and said, "It's $7, that's what it has rung up as." I didn't want to be argumentative but it was obvious that this product was defective and that is why someone had put that sticker on it, and I said, "Well, it's pretty beat up. Do you think that might be why it is labeled for $1?" After rolling her eyes she called over another cashier and they exchanged looks like "what a jerk just like the rest of them..." and they examined it for 2 seconds and the second one said, "No, the inside pages are still good. $7!"
So, I just paid for my other items and left as it wasn't worth fighting over, but the whole experience left me with quite a bad taste in my mouth. Those two cashiers with resting ** face syndrome had such an obvious "us against them" attitude. Why should someone pay full price for a beat up item even if the inside pages were good? It is a damaged item that you obviously could not give to someone as a gift. Why would you pay full price?? But I had the last laugh as I went there again the next day and found the same item in the same clearance basket and when I went to pay for it there was a different clerk and she just rang it up for the $1 that the other rbf cashier should have. Ha Ha!

I called them up and they gave me my money back on it which I used to save a blue veiltail female betta which is small at the moment then 3 days after one of the tetras I bought died. Yesterday I noticed that all my fish minus my 2 plecostomus had ick. Then last night the smaller one which was bought from Walmart died. Then I get up and stuff for work today only to find two out of my glowlight tetras that I have had for almost 3 years had died from ick. This is the last time I believe I will buy fish from my Walmart or any Walmart for that matter. In fact the manager who got the fish for me basically had no freak clue what I was talking about when I was getting those fish.
I'm currently trying to save all of the fish left in my tank and will be replacing them from fish from Petco who DOES have knowledgeable staff when it comes to fish. While going to take the 2 pictures I've posted I noticed that yet another of my glowlight tetras has died. This makes 3 of my fish from Petco that Walmart has killed that came from a different pet store chain all together and 3 that have died from Walmart itself due to incompetent workers who don't know what they are doing.

I am VERY ANGRY with Wal-Mart's Auto Care! My boyfriend and I took my car there to see if they could patch a tire that was in my backseat for me. The worker takes my keys, goes to my car, and rolls the windows down. Now, my driver side window gets stuck when it goes down and I had just gotten it put back up yesterday. Not one time did this worker ask if there was anything wrong with my car or anything of that nature. When my boyfriend decided to inform the worker that my window is broken and now it's stuck, the worker tells my boyfriend there isn't anything they can do because we never mentioned the window. He was very rude and unhelpful!
Now, someone like me doesn't know that the workers have to roll the windows down EVEN THOUGH they have no purpose to so, I was at least expecting a little remorse AND they couldn't even patch the tire! When I called back and spoke with the manager he was no help either and told me it was my fault because I didn't tell them the window was broken. I have NEVER experienced a worse situation with customer service. I have been shopping at Wal-Mart for most of my life but, it's safe to say not anymore!

This was supposed to be a camera, instead I only received the lens. Calling and writing Walmart was useless. I then looked at the experience of others. There were two comments from 2 years ago that indicated the same experience for this item. Walmart advertises the camera, then ships just the lens, and has done nothing to change the ad for two years. I was told the item is not in stock and I needed to call back when it was in stock. This seemed strange in that I place my original order, because the item was in stock, and I should be notified when the item comes in. This experience is my first buying online with Walmart, and it's not been particularly good.

Recently there has been a series of 'changes' to existing pay grades and shift differential compensation that led me to wonder about Wal-Mart's true attitude toward their associates. The federal minimum wage which brought new associates up to 9.00 an hour and scheduled to increase again next year to 10.00 an hour has left many long time associates feeling cheated. I for one have been there 5 years was making 9.20 base. New associates are only .20 cents behind me.
Working overnights I have a 1.00 shift differential, so my hourly is 10.20. The same new associates if they work overnights would have the same differential. Here is the change. Overnights now only get .50 differential. As for me they took about .50 from my differential and tacked it on my base. They rob Peter to pay Paul and then call it fair? Annual pay increases have been changed from .20, .40 and .60 flat rates to percentages of less than 2% (not sure exactly what they are). In a nutshell: forget the days of .40 pay increases. All of these changes have taken place within the last 2 months.
Now to pay grades, was recently promoted to G4 from a G2. It would have been a .40 increase, but PRIOR to my promotion they placed grades 1-3 (G1-3) on the same rate and produce (G4) one step above, making it only .20. Maybe I am being ungrateful, but I feel minimized, lied to, cheated and I am not the only one who feels this way. One would think that Wal-Mart, a 168 billion dollar corporation would have the resources to pay their employees well.
Working with food products, I feel a great deal more responsible for quality versus one working in hardware. Lately, I have been used in other areas of the store (hardware) rather than allowing me to continue in my area of hire. It has made it extremely difficult to be as detailed as I think I should and as a result the area has suffered. Lack of proper training has also affected my work, but also newer associates on preceding shifts. Their mistakes have caused me extra work (understandably), but I am still held accountable for my scheduled duties and theirs. I am only a month newer.

I have a 2 yr old. A bubbly, happy, incredibly curious 2 yr old, who subsequently loves to look at the fish every time we go into Walmart. Unfortunately for me I dread it, because I know the deplorable, inhumane conditions these poor fish are in. I have spoken to countless managers, who have all stated the same thing "we will get that manager over that department", but nothing changes. I have even called the corporate line to complain, hoping that would spur urgency as to the conditions. But alas nothing still has changed. So now I complain to both management and corporate at least 1-2 times a week, hoping still for a change. Walmart should either hold their employees and managers accountable, and or STOP selling fish! Yes I know they are "just fish" to some, but these are the same animals you want to bring home to your children???
In one of the tanks, the Oscar Fish, the tank was so bad that the fish couldn't be seen, just shadows due to the increasing scum on their tanks. Not to mention the gill rot that is so bad all you see is meat. Walmart need to get it together! I will continue to complain until something is done!

My elderly mother and I returned to CA from Las Vegas (great Wal-marts, friendly informed staff in Las Vegas). After 3 yrs and 3 moves we found a place to perm. live. I ordered drapes for our new place. Wal-mart shipped them to the wrong address a distance away. I had to call to find out what happened to our order. I was able to find a week to make the drive to pick up a package and since there were several I had to repeat this long crowded commute in the SF bay area. This while I am the sole caregiver to my mother. I found rods, found someone to put them up. We choose which we should keep. I also purchased some in the store. Returned any unneeded and unopened. One red velvet was defective and an each or 2 short. I informed them so it would not go back on the shelf.
We purchased the 4 dark red velvets for a bedroom (sunblock) and 3 as a room divider. We noticed that one of the 3 used as a room divider was scrunched on the back side like it had been "wadded" or "balled" up... perhaps the lining had been damaged prior to it being sewn to the velvet? We thought give it some time it may work it's way out... as the folds from packaging do eventually (takes a long time to be complete).
At this time I began to take mom to the Dr. more and more. She was sick and they tested and couldn't figure out what was wrong. This continued. All we have are each other, so we were busy and I was very worried. My mother could feel lumps in her abdomen. I took her to Dr's and told them to check. They ran EKG's etc. Finally I took her to a Dr. she had had before Kaiser got a hold of her medicare. I was desperate to get help for her... She was in pain and in bed. I told her Dr. from previous time to do an old fashioned manual, hands on exam of my mother she felt what we had felt...A GROWTH. Quick to CAT and (many tests later) cancer, untreatable.
Now, we are trying to make the most of the 2-4 months the Oncologist told her she has to live. We look at the defective wadded curtain (shows on velvet side too). She asks me to return it because it has not smoothed out. I take the original order slips printed from my e-mail. There are 3. One is unuseable the other 2 need the third. We are giving up on it at this point.
I never knew there was a 90 day return policy. I shopped the nice Walmarts in Las Vegas for 15 years. However, if Walmart had delivered them to our address and not somewhere an hours drive in heavy traffic...several different runs we would have received them weeks earlier-like 4 wks? It takes time. So I stand in the line at the Rohnert Park Wal-Mart to be treated rude by some young manager. I tried to show her the "defect" she would have none of it. I tried to explain how it arrived by the wrong address, I tried to explain that we believed it would hand and smooth out. She ** told me that fabric does not do that. I gave the example of dresses folded after hung (or in a shower room) fabric does smooth out. (I know, my grandmother was a seamstress, I know a great deal about fabric. The velvet was cotton...) She was rude (and showing off in front of some guys that lingered after she had cashed a check for one of them). I tried to explain my situation. I was just trying to settle things as my mother wished and she was just told she had 2-4 months before the cancer will take her life. (My mother is my world...).
In Las Vegas the staff is competent, helpful and friendly. A manager would have dealt with an issue of lost drapes and with cases of hardships. I and everyone I knew shopped Wal-Mart in Las Vegas and was happy. The employed here do seem miserable as noted by another writer. They also are not given the skills or backup from management. I guess I now know why (learned the hard way) why Wal-Mart in Rohnert Park, CA is not popular with a wider range of people. In Las Vegas everyone shops there... It's a first option not a last option.
The rudeness was very hard to cope with...like an inner club or gang that hangs out in a small returns department. Young and lacking experience. Las Vegas tends to have older workers with experience. Horrible experience. Need help. Should have complained about their delivery of all my packages to the wrong address. At the time I was just happy they had not been stolen.

Let's see... I was an employee for Wal-Mart twice in my past. The first time was ok, I was only 20 years old & very excited to start my first job. It wasn't the best job, but the coworkers & customers made my time at the Wal-Mart in Pryor, Oklahoma better. The second time I worked for Wal-Mart was in the same year, but October. This time was at the store in Claremore, Oklahoma (much closer to where I lived at the time). It wasn't all that bad either, but again I'm just a cheery type of person.
Recently I applied for employment with Wal-Mart once again, thinking why not give it a shot? Well, I got called for an interview at the Wal-Mart in Catoosa, Oklahoma. The interview went great! The managers loved me. After my second interview, I was handed a form for drug testing & told I had until 2 pm the next day to take it. So around 11 am the next day I asked my mother if she could drive me the 30 miles to the place designated for the drug test, since I didn't have enough gas in my car to drive myself. So I took the drug test, came back home & then my fiancé & I packed up some stuff for our trip to NM the next day (since his paycheck was deposited at 1 am). Just yesterday, I received my background check done by Wal-Mart in the mail. On it there is a thing that says "High Risk Indicator: Trailer Park or Campsite". Now this part seemed a bit suspicious to me, since last week the manager guaranteed me a job.
She told me as soon as my drug test came back that I would be contacted for orientation scheduling. Tuesday rolls around, no phone call. So I decided to call them (again because I'm eager to start working). Well I stay on the line for 2 minutes, get connected to a hiring manager who then tells me she'll talk to management & see what they want to do (after she brought my application up on the computer while on the phone with me). She said she would call me back after she spoke to them. I waited all day, no phone call. Wednesday rolls around, I'm starting to worry that maybe I didn't get the job. I called once again, a lady in lawn & garden answered & promptly tried to connect me to management. I waited on the phone for nearly 20 minutes. So I waited a few hours... tried to call again after lunch, no answer.
So I decided to wait until Thursday to call back. I call back, same lady from lawn & garden answered & connected me to management. Once connected, I tell them my name, I apologize for calling again & then here's the kicker... I get told that they've been put on a hiring freeze due to the amount of employees coming to them from the store on Admiral & Memorial in Tulsa, Oklahoma since it had been closed... it was closed down a couple of months ago. My cousin told me that the whole high risk thing was a zip code generated ordeal that allows employers to deny employment. Said it was because this zip code thing to them says I'm basically capable of stealing from them. Simply because I live in a trailer park. What?? Where does this have grounds to stand??
Since when is it ok to discriminate against potential employees due to their place of residence?? I'm sure that if I had been living in an apartment or house I would have been told to come for orientation within a couple of weeks. I cannot prove that this is why the manager told me they've been put on a hiring freeze, but somehow it seems like a legitimate explanation for her suddenly not wanting to hire me. Any helpful advice here??

Hell, I wouldn't want to help them either. They complain about stupid things and expect someone to care. Walmart attracts disgusting low life's, that includes employees. Fortunately, I was able to think clearly enough after all this to ask for the receipts they ran.
When I checked them against my original receipt, once I returned home, I found that one card had been used at the store where I purchased it on the date of purchase. The other card was used at a later date at another store, where the person lived that I sent it to. It was impossible for the other card that was given back to me to have been the one spent that day at their store, because I had both cards the cashier returned me in my possession the whole time until I put them in the mail a day or two later. Obviously, she returned to me one activated card and one unactivated card.
So, how did the card I paid for and did not receive get spent the same day at the store of purchase?? I don't have any way of knowing exactly what happened, but I ended up with one card that was activated and one that was not. The person I sent the gift card to found it very embarrassing for her when she tried to spend it and, of course I was doubly embarrassed because my gift caused her the embarrassment and disappointment. Then there is the matter of being out the money, not to count all the trouble and humiliation! This is not the first time I have had problems at this store, but it will definitely be the last, because they will not get any more of my money. However, my concern is that with the history of my experiences there and witnessing how they have treated other senior citizens over the years, I feel like this must be brought to light in effort to save others similar loss, humiliation and emotional abuse.

I know Wal-Mart gets a lot of criticism, but I want to share my experience with a Medford, Oregon Wal-Mart. I was moving in to a new apartment and because of a scheduling error the move-in date was delayed by 80 days. I had almost all my belongings with me in a van and could not afford to rent something short term in the interim. Wal-Mart let me safely park my van in their lot until I was happily able to move in to my new apartment. I used their restrooms, washing up in the family restroom at the back of the store. During this time no one ever made me feel embarrassed about being there. I am so grateful for this consideration. Oh, I completely furnished my apartment with Wal-Mart - My way of saying thanks for being a good neighbor!

I ordered 3 white deck benches from Wal-Mart.com. The benches were shipped to my local Wal-Mart. When I received the benches I promptly took them home and put them together. I was extremely disappointed to find the benches would not screw together on the left side. One screw would go in properly and the other two screws would not reach. The right side all the screws worked as they should. I was also very upset to find that the paint on the benches was sloppy done, there are large drips in multiple places. I contacted Wal-Mart and was told I would need to dismantle the faulty benches and ship them back, not just return them to the store, in order to receive replacement benches. At this point I'm disgusted with the amount of work I have done and will still have to do in order to receive a product I ordered and paid for.

My concern is with the local store has started carrying camp firewood. Though it it is a great seller for the store it has all but put me out of business - one I have had for 18 years due to the fact of people buying there when they stop for supplies instead of the campgrounds I supply. My concern isn't that the store carries this item but why not order from local businesses in the immediate area? It's a store we shop at daily. The campers are here and gone in a weekend. Not only that the product that is offered isn't even from our state Wal-Mart says they care about its community. Be nice to actually see it for a change instead of worrying how I'm going to care for my family.

So, I just returned from shopping at Walmart and I bought $250 of groceries. When I tried to leave the store, I was asked to show my receipt, and I declined. The greeter then began pushing my cart backwards and blocking the door. The alarms had not been sounded and the greeter had no probable cause to approach me at all. A customer can't be charged with theft until they have left the store and it must be by licensed security guards or theft prevention employees. I had purchased my stuff and wasn't going to be treated this way by their dumb staff.
I had asked for the manager who took so long that I left (when ** greeter was not paying attention). I waited outside for a cab and the manager came out to make a big scene while checking my receipt. It was like the two staff were related. I couldn't believe my luck. Instead of someone who could diffuse the situation, he chose to take excessively long while reading my receipt and loudly announced that I had made a $250 purchase--for all the customers who had gathered around watching.
I was not only falsely detained but I had been harassed a second time by the stupid manager. It was ridiculous. I then came home and looked online to find that this situation occurs quite often because they continue to not offer proper training to their staff and it starts from the greeters all the way to the store manager. I hate Walmart and their ** policies for their staff anyways. Why should my rights be violated on such a public level, when I had done nothing wrong (except choosing to shop there).

On February 7, 2012 I opened up a Walmart credit card. Since then my account was set up for automatic payments and I opted to have paperless billing. I have used this card off and on but have not used it in the last 6-8 months. On May 20, 2015 I went online to check my account and make sure my balance had decreased. To my surprise it had increased without me using this card. I started going through invoices and noticed I was being charged just as must in security fees as I was paying APR. My monthly automatic payments were less than the amount. This sky-rocketed to causing my account balance to increase. I contacted customer service immediately.
I NEVER requested for security on my credit card. I requested to have this option cancelled and to waive my fees. I was credited $485 in security fees and an additional $31.12 for the monthly interest the month prior. I had to increase my monthly automatic payments and in doing this I thought I was in the clear. Thankful my account appeared to have been fixed. Until I noticed they reversed the interest fee they credited.. They took off the IM online chat option forcing me to call.. (which my work hours are the same business hours they are open) and then told me my account payment was past due for increasing my automatic payments.
I now had to pay $95 or they were contacting the credit agency. I have NEVER missed a payment. I contacted customer service and was told they would apply a $20 credit to my account. I received nothing. I also noticed even after the $485 was removed, my interest on 5/27 invoice went up. Which makes no sense if my bill is almost $600 down. I have been transferred back and forth between customer service representatives. They cut me off and do not allow me to talk. I will NEVER shop at Walmart again. As soon as this credit card is paid. They will have lost a loyal customer. I will make sure to let it be known how I was treated to everyone!

I was one of those 4 stores, the rest of America will be starting the process in two weeks if they make the decision to continue on. I was forced out of my position because of this decision. I wrote a complaint to the ethics and corporate email, but received a hateful reply. I was told that I would need to speak to my store manager. My store manager knows and cannot do anything about it. I want my old job back, but I cannot work the 4 am to 1 pm shift.
Also they are forcing IMS to become CAP team, and getting rid of day time-stockers. The CAP team is responsible for the job of 2 people now. This is not fair to the employees. All those people had a position that was ripped out of their hands. I explained to my managers why I couldn't work the shift. I have a child and cannot leave them home for 3 hours. Now, I was out of the manufacturer's warranty and had to contact Wal-Mart for the extended warranty I purchased. They sent someone out to my house for inspection. The gentleman stated that he knew what the problem was and either parts had to be replaced or Wal-Mart will reimburse me for the TV. A week later, I got a disturbing call saying unfortunately, my TV would not be covered because there was a crack in the screen!!!
In a rage, I called corporate (whoever that was) and sent pictures to the insurance company. I asked them to highlight the area of the picture that I sent, where they saw the crack. I see negative reviews, but I've been shopping at Wal-Mart stores since 2000 and online since 2012. I've never had a problem. Additionally, my health insurance drug plan is also through Wal-Mart with no issues, plus it is very well priced. Same story with my brother and friends. An operation as large as Wal-Mart will inevitably get a number of negative experiences by the statistical numbers, and those folks will be the most likely to submit comments. I recently bought 5 outside doormats at Wal-Mart to replace all the worn out aged ones. The selection was wide, and I'm really happy with the way they match my entrances and steps. With so much choice in the store on just this one item, I was able to get exactly what I wanted.
The Wal-Mart shoes I have on have lasted forever and were reasonably priced, and the great Wrangler boots I bought on a sale table were a steal at just $35. Etc., etc. Wal-Mart also has some high tech stuff too. I just bought a router and a range extender online for a good price, and the stuff works fine. I look forward to trying Wal-Mart's proposed $50 3 day shipping plan, and I will do that. I've had Amazon Prime for several years, and that's worked out great. But time for a little competition. I walked into the electronics dept. and after looking at some tablets I asked for the one on special for $49.00 and there were two boys at the counter and I asked them if there any of those tablets. Neither turned, but one answered no and continued to talk to the other. I then asked if someone could help me and no one listened so I asked again in an irritated voice. Then the one that did not answer came and helped. More happened but end result was he was taking too long and I then asked a lady to help me and told her about what happened and told the boy that answered no to tell the other to forget what he went to look for that this lady was going to help me.
I picked the 11 Maven Pro RCA and paid for it. But also asked to talk to the manager. He was called to the site 4 times, I seen a man whom I thought was the mgr but he came to the counter spoke to a female employee and left. I asked then for the 5th time to call by name. She did as told and the other employees made comments of how angry he would be in having being called by name over the intercom. I told them that instead of being angry with the employee he could direct himself to me since I made the request to call him. He finally came and I made my complaint. He just said he was sorry and left.
The transaction needed a mgr's signature so he was called again - again another long wait. This time another came, and he also said sorry and left. Total time taken to buy this tablet was 2 1/2 hrs! I had to take the tablet back for an exchange, was given another but it had no electrical cord. I asked for another or to be given the one that I returned. After much discussion, I was given the old one. Now the connector on the cord is bent and I think that's what part of the problem was. I returned it again to a different store (because I no longer wanted to go to the original and this was closer). The time limit to return the item was expired! Now I have a bent cord that's not functioning properly on an item that cost me $170.00.
To my knowledge nothing was done to the actions of that employee and the attitude of those managers was indifference. Now the store in Mission, TX off Shareylane Ave on frontage Rd. were spectacular!!! They gave their full attention and there an ** that works in Electronics that is so knowledgeable and personal that it took the bad taste of Wal-Mart out of my mouth. I still currently work for Walmart in woodland park, CO but I'm getting rather aggravated with what is going on. I've been with the store just over 2 years, it's had its up and downs, but with our new store manager it has taken the turn for the worst. Anyhow, I reported that I was expecting a baby and could not lift over 25 LBS (I work in garden and deal with heavy product daily) and it seems to be that any and all above management treats me like crap now and yet seem to expect me to be in nine different places at once and get all this stuff done, that I cannot personally do, especially since they have told me that I will now be the "gate keeper" for garden center. Therefore I am not suppose to leave my post, so pretty much a door greeter.
The new store manager, **, comes out every morning with his piss poor attitude, demanding this and that and just being completely inconsiderate of his associates and just a shady person, but he demands these total air headed ideas. I understand I'm just an associate, but that's because that's where I choose to be, don't act like you're "above" me or something special. You have to respect your "peons" if you want anything done or they're just going to laugh at you. Another thing, he comes out while it's pouring outside and states "I want the garden gate open and you out there- rain, snow or shine." Seriously? If corporate knew about that you would not have a job. Why? Because Walmart employees are not going to stand out in weather that is not safe. Last time I knew, I wasn't making 12 an hour to snow shovel or 60 g a year to test my ability in ** weather like the military.
Another thing that really ticks me off, GET US PROPER EQUIPMENT TO DO A JOB YOU REQUEST. If you want me out in the rain, get me some rain boots and a rain coat. You want me in the snow? Then you better get me a snow jacket, boots, beanie and gloves. You want me to water the plants as expected? Well get me the gear that's expected to do so, because I am so sick of ruining my shoes to water the plants. Two women that worked there were having a conversation behind one of the counters in the electronics section. I waited next to the counter, hoping to get their attention. After a few minutes, I realized that they were either completely incompetent or actively avoiding me.
I walked straight out of the store, across the parking lot to Best Buy, and I bought everything I wanted in about 5 minutes. I know that Walmart does not care about one lost sale, but when you aggregate the lost sales, and future lost sales, from these negative experiences it HAS to cut into their bottom line. The most painful part about all of it? Before I graduated from law school, clerked for federal judges and worked at the EPA, I applied to work at Walmart during my undergraduate degree to help pay for my living expenses. As with every other Wal-Mart, you must endure long lines, unhelpful employees and empty shelves and bad produce. The thing about the Wal-Mart near my house (#1040) is that employees follow me. The first couple of times I dismissed it as a coincidence, but after that I really started feeling watched. I know all of the stores have hundreds of cameras and plainclothes security/loss prevention staff like most large stores. I don't steal and I'm not bothered by their presence, but I have never felt so paranoid while just shopping and walking around with a cart than at this particular Wal-Mart.
There is one employee, an assistant manager, that is particularly unnerving. He must get one of the only 40 hours a week jobs because it seems he is always there no matter what time I go. He will pop out and just give me a stare, no smile, multiple times per visit. I have made it a point to always say hello, but he doesn't talk back. I know he can speak. I have heard him talk to other employees just fine. He watches me pay very closely. This is not looks from an admirer. He must think I am somehow being dishonest and has profiled me in some way... not sure how, maybe confused me with someone else. I just want to get in and buy my stuff and leave but this man has effectively made me shop elsewhere most of the time, even if I have to make 6 different stops.
It's a real shame that an innocent person is made to wonder what is really going on their Wal-Mart. I am clearly not welcome because of him. I have not ever felt so singled out and although Wal-Mart is not my favorite place I haven't never felt this level of discomfort in other Wal-Marts and I've been to a bunch. I avoid this store now when I can, I was doing them a favor but shopping there is a last resort now.

My complaint is not about one time - it has become the usual at Walmart. Incidentally, I am on a walker and need those motorized carts. Last week I went there at approximately 8:00 a.m. This store in Baxley, Georgia, has about 6 of the carts. Five (5) of them were inside the store being charged, obviously not having been charged overnight. I spoke to the manager who said he has 6 new ones ordered, but I have heard that story before.
There are employees all over the stores stocking shelves but to find one to help me is another story. Yes, I can locate one if I do get a cart and set out to find one. Last week I talked with three, none of whom knew where the item I was seeking was located. Rarely will one find an employee in a specific department - they are all STOCKING SHELVES.
Another issue with me is that I am unable to reach many items because they are located on the top of a shelf. Again, I have to go looking for someone to help me. I make every effort to never shop at Walmart, but unfortunately because this is a small town, we only have two other "grocery" stores besides Walmart. Hopefully one day there will be more competition so Walmart will have to provide better service. As of now, many people here go to Savannah or Brunswick, Georgia, to shop. Then we read the stories of how wealthy the Walmart family members are so I suppose they are not affected by their poor customer service.

A person, identifying himself as ** the store manager (NOT), claimed the serial number of the TV did not match the serial number on the box. He stated that perhaps we had slipped a different TV in the box and therefore he couldn't return or credit her account.
I questioned her as to what they did to verify the information. She said he "keyed" the serial number into the register. I asked her if he gave her a copy of what he keyed in. She stated "no". I called the store and the person who answered the phone stated it was store policy; therefore, the consumer, has no recourse. At the time of purchase, the cashier did not open the box and ensure everything matched. I have NEVER been more insulted -- basically insisting that we are scammers. So I'm actually an employee at the 1631 location in Hampton, VA. The first day I was so happy. I fell in love with my co workers & personnel but that was short lived. Now that I'm here working over night I swear it's the same two managers who constantly pick! They tell you to do one thing then get mad because you go do it! Like really? Then they time you for everything and expect you to either meet that time or less even if it's just you alone working with a pallet that's sky high!
But wait it gets funnier. Then they clock you into task you don't know about then get really pissed BECAUSE YOU NEVER CLOCK IT OFF IT!!! HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO KNOW I'M CLOCKED INTO SOMETHING WHEN I NEVER DID IT! IF THEY CLOCKED ME IN THEN THEY NEED TO CLOCK ME OUT! They promote the ones who don't know what they're doing!!! I'm looking for another job as we speak because it's not the company. It's the people they promote to management!!! If this continues and they continue to talk to us the way they do and mistreat employees I'M GOING OVER PEOPLE AND SEEKING MORE HELP!

Wal-Mart service plans are a scam. You buy an item and think "this item is kind of expensive. Sure I'll buy the service plan. It may break within the next two years". So you pay the $2 - $50 extra for the two year service plan. The sales person assures you that if the item stops working at any point in the next two years under normal wear and tear that you'll be able to have it repaired or replaced. Some weeks or months later sure enough, the item just breaks or stops working. "Huh, it's a good thing I bought that service plan and that I still have that receipt!
You take the item and the receipt back to Wal-Mart thinking you'll be able to get it replaced, repaired, or at least get your money back. You have the service plan AND the receipt after all. They'll ask "do you have the receipt?" (Coz if you say no then they will have a valid excuse not to help you). "Yes I do, here it is" you say. They'll ask "did you get the service plan?" (Coz if you say no then they will have a valid excuse not to help you). "Yes I did, it's there on the receipt" you say.
Then you will have a conversation that will go something like this. Wal-Mart: "This can only be returned within X number of days. It's past that X number of days period now." You: "Ok. But I bought the 2 year service plan. And it hasn't been two years yet." Wal-Mart: "It hasn't been a full year yet so this item falls under the one year manufacturer’s limited warranty. The Wal-Mart service plan doesn't start until one full year after you purchase the item." You: "...the Wal-Mart 2 year service plan doesn't start until one year AFTER you buy the item!?" Wal-Mart: "that's right."
You: "You're saying the service plan doesn't cover the item for the first year!??" Wal-Mart: "That's right." You: "Why did the Wal-Mart associate I purchased the item from say the exact opposite?" Wal-Mart: "I don't know. She must have been confused. I'm sorry that happened" You: "...but I have the service plan...what should I do?" Wal-Mart: "You'll need to mail the item to Asurion. They'll decide if they will repair it or what." You: "It would cost more to ship than the item cost." Wal-Mart: "hmm that's what you will have to do."
Bottom line: Wal-Mart sells the insurance because it makes them extra money. For that reason they won't tell you that it's worthless. You won't figure that out unless you try to use it.

I recently had a Maxx 24 (5 yr warranty) go bad after 4 years. The last 2 years of the battery warranty is prorated, so with that in mind, I knew we would get 20% (1 year) towards the new battery. We were replacing with the exact same battery. We were then informed we had 2 choices - Buy the new battery outright and again get the 5 year warranty or Take the 20% prorated amount toward the new battery and receive only a 1 year warranty since we had used up 4 years on the previous battery. Not much of a choice! So buyer beware, the policy is not what you think. I contacted Customer Service thru their main number. They had the manager of the local store call me to tell me that the policy info I was given was correct.

I went back the next day and the manager said he had no authority since there was a different item inside the box. The Walmart manager also stated that it was manufacturer responsibility. I called the manufacturer and they at least had the courtesy to open a case and said the store would have to exchange. The manager once again said he had no authority to make a decision. I called Walmart customer service and the operator said that it is the manager who can help.
I finally looked at the manager in the eyes and asked firmly if he had the authority to help me. He finally confessed and said yes he can make a decision and his decision was not to exchange. I left in disbelieve not only for myself but how many others fall victim to this individual. His credibility is none after he lied. I demand respect, I demand results. I finally got this nice guy to call it in, but I waited until my hands air dried, and STILL NO ONE CAME! I started fuming out and got so mad I left the store.
I also once went there on Black Friday, and when I went to check out, I waited a half-hour before coming up to ANOTHER LINE merging into ours. Everybody started getting mad, and I almost got into a fight. So mad, I then went to a local grocery store to do my shopping. I AM SO DONE WITH WALMART, and I now understand why my family hates them. I asked him to let me go, and I was walking beside him and he grabbed me even harder! I was also going to return some of my own items, and they stole them! So, then the next time I went in there... I paid for everything as I always do. HOWEVER, they tried to grab the bags out of my husband's hands. The same employee scratched my husband, so we called the police in the parking lot. The police took their side and said "one side is always lying", so they wanted my husband to make a statement. I told him to decline.
So another officer, who has a grudge against women went back in and said that the video didn't show him grabbing the bags and scratching my husband. (WHEN THE EMPLOYEE APOLOGIZED FOR SNATCHING THE BAGS OUT OF HIS HANDS.) The police wanted to arrest my husband and let Walmart abuse their customers/power. Now my husband will have a scar on his hand; yes, he did draw blood from my husband. Walmart lets them get away with anything and the police are there to back them up! They only allow returns when all the parts are returned.
Did you know the manual is a part? I didn't. Did you know that extended warranties are refundable only in the first 30 days, no matter the product is still in factory warranty? And did I have the order number? I believe ALL the rules should be posted. If they are posted somewhere, staff sure couldn't point me to them. But persistence paid off and I got a store credit for the entire purchase. (I was polite but firm.) Two stars due to their finally acquiescing to my refund request. I might add that I had called the dot com number so as to avoid just this kind of thing, but their service was down!

I mean the aquarium is filthy and there's usually 2-3 dead fish in each tank. They never cleaned inside or out, to the point where the fish inside begin to decompose. They don't even use gravel, they place a sticker under the glass making it look like gravel. The fish always seem very inactive, probably from a lack of food and stress.
The employees and management there are ridiculous. I've had at least 4 different "sales floor" level employees attempt to kick me and my girlfriend out at night (even though it's open 24 hours and we buy something almost every time we go in). When millions of complaints forced them to at least pay more, I predicted immediately they would remove employees to match the cost. Shutting down the stores is exactly what happened, and NO it had nothing to do with the plumbing excuse. But the same effects occurs in almost all United States business. The Walgreens where I used to work, along with almost all other stores I enter, have half as many employee hours as 10 years ago when I always had overtime. So what is the real cause? Customers are just as greedy as the CEO, except instead when they cannot make more money, they just want things cheap, without regard to quality or where it is made, as with slaves in China. If this continues, the United States will soon be destroyed; probably owned by China or controlled by Muslim religions so woman will not have jobs beyond their husbands.

I went shopping tonight to run in and out and grab a few things on sale at 2 local competitors, and like always I have my items written on my list under the "Competitor's Store" listed with the items, description/size etc written and the ad match price available. I was price matching some items from "Walgreens" and the cashier asked me for my ad. I then told the Cashier that I didn't have the ad with me, and she began to look through a pile of her ads and told me she didn't have the ad. She called over the CSM and neither one of them seemed to be able to find the ad… She continued to tell me that without the ad they could not honor the price of the 'Cottonelle toilet paper' which was normally 6.97 and on sale for 4.49.
The line behind me was growing and so was my patience. I asked the CSM so why is this my problem that I "The Customer" want to ad match an item from another retailer and #1 their policy states this: We will match any local competitor's advertised price. We do not require customers to have the ad with them to honor a competitor's. YET they would not honor the price match. Your meaning to tell me that in the ENTIRE store.. nobody had a Walgreens’ ad??? And that's not problem? WHY? Policy? Since when and where the hell is this policy stated?? Then you want to waste even more of my time, and the other Customer's in line while your pull out your cell phone and try to google it? REALLY? I said "Forget it, I don't have the time nor patience for this." They didn't have anything to say and she continued to charge me the FULL price of the item.
THEN I have the ad for Smith's to ad match their "Kroger" 32 oz cheese for $4.99. She then tells me... "We no longer match store name brands for other store brands." REALLY? When and Where did this take place? There's all these "Policies" yet nowhere on the policy area of the website give this BS. Treated poorly, half of the employees know the policy. The other half honestly has no idea. They make up their own rules as they go and again when I tried to address this I took it to corporate absolutely nothing done. A week later I went back and unfortunately same exact thing. Treated poorly, harassed, followed around the store. I use coupons and price match. I'm sorry your policy states your price matches the lowest price so obviously you are going to have customers that would like to price match so you would think that every employee will know the rules not... Not Wal-Mart!!!
I live in a very small town. The closest Wal-Mart is about an hour away but to be honest I don't think I would even drive there to use the price matching policy. I would rather pay more and be treated like a decent human being and save a couple of dollars and be treated like **. I can NOT BELIEVE that corporate is ok with this. They must be because they obviously have not tried to change anything at the store. I have called in 3 different times in the last month complaining about being treated poorly, employees not knowing the policy, and being harassed. Not one thing has been done. Wal-Mart has definitely lost another customer and from the looks of all of these complaints it really doesn't seem like they can afford to lose too many more.
I will absolutely drive over an hour to go to the nearest Meijer. I hope you are all happy. I will take my business elsewhere. I would not recommend going to Wal-Mart unless you like to be treated poorly, unfairly, pointed at, and laughed at, talked about right in front of your face, and embarrassed at the register. I most certainly do not expect anything to happen from this complaint. I certainly do not expect that since nothing has happened from the last 3. It is literally pointless. As it turned out I didn't require the tables and returned them unused the following day. The clerk scanned my receipt and told me both tables had already been returned. I informed her that I exchanged one the previous day. I was unable to immediately find the return receipt but they found it on the computer. The clerk then disappeared for at least 30 minutes. The other lady said she had watched video of me walking into the store without a table and leaving with one then accused me of stealing the table and scamming the store.
I pointed out my receipts but she said I would get no refund and take my tables. When I asked if the damaged goods had gone out she said "not until Monday". I then asked her to check for the damaged table. She said she'd check and if she found one she owed me an apology but if she didn't the matter was closed. Basically they had the manager tell me this in hope that I would receive a refund within the 48 hr time frame or they were just putting me off. Today 48 hrs later I called Walmart.com and was told that I would have to wait another 48 hrs up to 14 days for the refund to my financial institution. So now Walmart is doing what banks do and investing the money to put it to some sort of financial gain.

It's interesting that my wife has always said “you teach people how to treat you”. I was so excited to get a job at Walmart after being unemployed. I thought a new beginning and a new start. So I made sure I said “I had open availability” when I filled out the application, never thinking I would NEVER get a day off to attend church with my family. I had been with Walmart for 12 months and when asked about time off I was told I said... “I had open availability”. However, I noticed that other people had days off for their religious reasons. I have always been the happy, bubbly person making everyone laugh and probably talking too much with co-workers and giving too much time to help customers.
One of my downfalls is spending too much time with the customer, but my customers tend to look for me when they get to know me. I was often told by customers that I gave them a brighter look for the day because of my attitude. However, the people with the short attitude seem to get more respect from Mgt. or they just don't push him.
I am in my mid 50's just got an increase to $9hr. The day I was fired... I arrived at work at 4:56am, waited to get in. approx. 5:06 doors open, needed to make space for truck arriving. Things were tight so constant shifting, unloading truck, rotating, etc. My immediate supvr came by, “STOP what you are doing, to work the produce on the floor”, once completed HAD to use restroom.
When I came out restroom I was being yelled at across the front of the store like a child to get over there b/c I broke cold chain. I tried to explain... “it wasn't 2 hrs and I was told to stop what I was doing”. She then told me not to speak b/c about to be fired. A few days later, I was told I would be able to come back to a diff. department. But that the person who fired me would just be looking for something to fire me again to prove she was right. I don't have a college degree and I may not be the smartest person on the block, but I still believe I could have been treated with a little more respect. Walmart Please train your leadership team how to treat their employees, perhaps you would have millions on employee retention. No hard feelings.

I bought a Indian River Grapefruit juice which was rancid. I threw it away. Went back to the store on April 4 2015 & saw that they had 2 bottles of the same will sell by date of Mar 1 2015. It is amazing that in over a month they did not check to see that the products had expired. I took a bottle and showed it to the manager & told him that I had to throw a bottle away because it was bad. His response for very nonchalant - no apologies, no "thanks for bring this to my attention" no "let me offer you a refund for the bad bottle that you bought". I wonder how may other products are past due.
Furthermore, they keep on charging incorrectly for product that have no code. For example I got a small watermelon which was supposed to be $3.48. Was charged $6.99 which was the cost of large. Had to wait 20 mins at customer service to get a refund. On other occasions, the cashier has no idea what the fruit/veg item (no code label on product) is, so they just guess & often get it wrong. It seems to me that Walmart is just going downhill & the staff do not care.

I rescue Green Spotted Puffers from Walmart and nurse them back to health in my home. As you know, Walmart has a bad reputation as to how they treat their employees. They are just as horrible to their live "inventory". Green Spotteds are unique, intelligent, and very sensitive fish. They're people oriented, inquisitive, and they communicate with their tail like a puppy. Their life cycle is mostly a mystery so are not farm raised. Due to demand from aquaria stores and Walmart, poaching, overfishing, and destruction of their environment are bringing them close to being at risk for extinction. Walmart does not see to their special needs and treats them like "throw away pets." They can be found dead and dying in filthy tanks. They eat frozen or live food which Walmart does not provide and so they slowly starve. Some have tails and fins eaten by the more aggressive tank mates.
Exotic Puffers have no place in Walmart stores. I began WALMART PUFFER RESCUE SHELTER to: First get them out of the Death Tanks, and second, Stop the Selling of Puffers by Walmart. By buying them, bringing them back from starvation and neglect, I am able to spare their lives and give them a chance to be adopted to good homes. For every Puff I write letters and petitions to Stop Walmart Puffer Fish Abuse. I have taken it on, as my mission, NO PUFFER LEFT BEHIND. I am on Walmart’s case pretty much whenever I'm awake. I am always respectful. I visit all the Walmarts in the San Francisco east bay and buy Puffs by the tankful. I drop in on managers and Pet Dept staff. On the web I circulate my Facebook page STOP WALMART PUFFER TORTURE & EXPLOITATION, and my petition to both Walmart and the company who they get them from, Quality Marine.
Friday I was sitting with Spike, a tiny sickly emaciated Shelter Puff, and trying to get him to eat. He was doing better for 3 weeks, but he must have been so far gone from being starved that he's suddenly stopped eating. I was ranting on Facebook about how I wish I could make those Walmart Exec. watch this poor thing suffer and feel as crappy as we do, then it hits me... WHY NOT??? I grabbed ** (my guy) and took off with Spike in a bowl to Walmart Corp Office in San Bruno, CA. I have apparently made my presence known to Walmart. **, Spike, and I arrived at 850 Cherry in front of the big glass locked doors of Walmart Corp, where we were greeted by 2 youngish 'rank n file' corporate employees who, eyes wide, excitedly exclaimed "YOU'RE THE FISH LADY! "
Security was already on us as the 2 hurried us out of guards reach, and towards the receptionist. They told her that we were the fish people they were expecting. I said I'm sorry, but I didn't have an appointment, the receptionist was not going to let us by her, and she wasn't happy to see us, or Spike. I explained that I wanted to see whoever makes the fish decision's so they could meet Spike. Whose last wish was for his life to make a difference to future generations of Puffs. Also that I wanted to make an Exec watch poor Spike try to eat a worm. She just gave me customer services #, and the guards followed us out as the 2 who were so happy to let us in, sadly waved us goodbye. ** says I must have made the morning memo. It was just crazy how those 2 looked at me like they had seen me on a surveillance tape or something.
Currently I have 59 Puffs in 17 tanks in a 2 bedroom apt, of these 25 have been so brutalized they will never recover, and have been deemed unfit for sale. They endure varying degrees of infirmity, and will live out their days here at the Shelter. Please forward this on to whomever you see fit. I hope very much to get the Puffer's story told, and that the day will come when they no longer die silently in the Death Tanks. Thanks!

They told me that the only way will not be cover if the phone get stolen. After few weeks the phone doesn't work properly anymore I went back to Walmart to exchange it. They make a big deal of it calling the manager and at the end they Decline to do so that I need to call T-Mobile or the product care plans com. And deal with any of them. I was very upset because is not what they told me, they sold me a plan that telling me the wrong information and that is not right. I bought a printer at Walmart to complete a Chinese Visa Application for our nephew and brother. When I opened the printer up, I discovered that it had been returned. I put my nephews passport on the scanner bed to try it to see if it would work. Neither the color or black ink worked. I packed it back up and returned to another Walmart as this was the only one they had at the first store. Meanwhile, my wife was at the house trying to compete the Visa applications and she realized the passport was left inside the printer. She had no way to contact me as I had run out without the cell phone. She was standing in the driveway as I returned with another printer. She asked me if I had retrieved the passport from the printer. I handed her the receipt and she called the store and asked them to pull the passport out of the printer. She told them I was returning to get the passport.
When I arrived at the Walmart customer service, I explained that I was there to collect the passport. The same lady who my wife spoke to said, “oh no, you cannot have it.” She passed it to another woman who also said the same thing. Then she handed it to ** an assistant Manager. I again asked for the passport and explained that the visa application had to go in the mail that day or they would not be allowed to fly to China even though they had purchased tickets. Now, mind you, we are talking thousands of dollars here. With three flights total. ** then said, “I am protecting my customers.” I explained to him I was the customer. He told me that my nephew would have to come in and pick up the passport. I asked him if I could make a phone call at which point he put the passport on the counter and I snatched it quickly up. He screamed at me he was calling the Sheriff's office. I told him it was mine.
The really ironic part of this is that they had no clue whose name was on the passport even. So ** along with several other Walmart employees follow me and try to stand in my way. He did one better when he filed the police report. He lied and said the passport was lost in the store and that I stole it. He never mentioned the entire situation of how they got the passport because my wife called and that it was returned to the store.

So I did, I picked up 2 iPads to the grand totals of $1234. Then, I immediately walked to customer service to return the items and get a one gift card back... Instead, ** was given me a hard time where she wants her associate to return all $50 into 25 different gift cards. I found this is very disturbing. I read plenty of reviews when people have had no problems and let's face it, the only time a store is "tested" is when there is a problem, that is when you find out how "good" their customer service is and how much they care about your business. Walmart has finally pissed me off enough to find a place to write this. First off, they make it so you can't leave general reviews about them anywhere on their sites. They email you a link to review a specific item you bought online, so that is the only place to review, so if you want to let everyone know about the horrible treatment you have had, etc. Other people will see it... if they happen to be looking at twin size airbed mattresses and happen to read #1,347, because that's where the review ends up. That alone makes them shady. They do have an online "corporate feedback" site where you can review them and complain, but nobody sees it except them!
I purchased a "hotspot" online one evening because it said I could pick it up the next day, as it was out of stock in store. Hours after I placed the order (and they took payment, of course) I received an email stating that I could not pick it up and it would be 14 days. The next morning, I went and bought it at Best buy, expecting that I would be refunded immediately as the email stated that I should check whatever box if I still wanted it from them. Then, about 6 pm that evening, I received another email from them stating that they had gone ahead and reordered on my behalf and if I didn't want it, check box again.
I checked box again! I waited a few days and then called the store that it was to be delivered to and they immediately said that I needed to talk to the online people they had nothing to do with online sales. I emailed the site and was told that I had to wait until item came in, then return it for refund. I replied that was unacceptable and for 3 more emails I received the same "auto reply" that had nothing to do with my problem. Two and a half weeks later, I returned the item when it came in. 3 visits to store to purchase item that site said store had in stock - item was not and employees shrug their shoulders and remind me that they "have nothing to do with online store."
Tonight, went in to buy 20 item that is in stock this time, but 10 bucks more than what was price online. Cashier tells me if I go to site customer service desk, they will look it up and if true, they give me the online price. I say "great" and proceed to desk. They asked me to look it up on my phone, I had to tell them my phone was home charging. THE SITE TO STORE DESK HAS NO WAY TO LOOK UP THE SITE! After talking to a couple managers a guy in electronics knew how he could do it and finally, I was on my way out with the right price. Finally, ** sent us to ** at corporate, who contacted the correct person and did what should have been done in the first place. It is insane to me that I spent over 80 minutes of my family time and cell phone minutes dealing with this! Especially, when ** handled it in about 5 minutes. TERRIBLE way to handle our account. We have spent thousands with Walmart in the past couple of months ordering items for our house. This will be THE LAST ORDER. I do not appreciate the run-around and being lied to by this **, who identified himself as **, the supervisor. Never had these problems with Amazon or Target. Never again! If not for my husband calming me down, we would return everything we have bought! I HATE BEING LIED TO!!! Thank you to **, but it's too little too late.

I was assured that my debit card was protected by Wal-Mart cashier. When my banking statement showed Card Purchase With Pin, then I understood that my card was compromised when I started having questionable $4.99 debit charges on my checking account for the last two months. Only because I check my account in "sometimes" a timely manner did this come to my attention, and when I called the bank, I was told to come in so a new card could be issued, and that customers can go for months until they discoverer this fraud on their account. Why is the pin ever registered by merchants when it is registered by merchants, as it sorely compromises the consumer.

I worked there for seven months. #2312 in Roanoke, VA. We went through 10-15 new hires on the GM unload team because of the way they treat you and expect you to know everything when you start. The bigger the trucks to unload, the less people they would schedule to work. So we had days with 5 people on a 2500-piece truck and they want us to start at four and have every pallet off the truck by 7. Then tell me I don't work fast enough when I had 12 pallets to stack after sorting boxes and had to go on different L carts because the overnight stock team was so picky. Then I get fired for leaving on time because a task that wasn't important didn't get finished (taking plastic bags from grocery receiving to GM side because the baler won't take plastic on that side and they're too cheap to replace it); and this is all after coaching for absences.
Then an associate hit me while working and I was put on probation for it. Then my co-workers that didn't like me complained and my manager told me because I was in trouble I have no right to defend myself basically. Funny that the same store two weeks later had shelves emptier than I've ever seen and probably about 5-6 new faces with a Walmart badge on that are probably thinking about quitting right now.

My first purchase 39.99, 22.00 approve from my debit card then recharge 39.99 on my same receipt. It is plain as day on my receipt the 22.00 is approved and added right back on the receipt. I also have my bank statement paid to walmart for 22.00 approved on my receipt. The manager treated me as if I was stupid and even ask me was I doing this because I could not afford my purchase. I choose not to argue the point, finish my purchase and talk to a more educated manager. How should I resolve this matter without foolishness.

When shopping one day I was purchasing a packet of printer paper. I put it in my cart and on the way out of the aisle I noticed in the center main aisle there was a bin with a sale price for the same printer paper I had in my cart. So I checked the price at the check pricing machine and it didn't show with the sale price. I notified a clerk who said to tell them at the check out line. My complaint is that this is the 4th time that Walmart shows a sale price on the item yet when you check out it doesn't show up at the register with the sale price. I feel they are doing this on purpose to make the consumer think they are getting something at the sale price. They never correct the pricing in their computer so if a consumer isn't alert to this switch then they are being charged without the sale price.

Called the check service - very rude and very complicated to speak to someone who doesn't speak English very well. Consequences were my son couldn't get car seats that were desperately needed for his children. Will NOT do any service with these places again!

Ordered an item from Walmart.com. Apparently, the order goes through Circuit City and then onto TigerDirect. The order mistakenly was sent to Arizona. As soon as I saw that on the confirming email, I went through the cancel order process and within a minute had canceled the item. I then reordered the item and had it sent to Utah. Well, both arrived at their destinations. Checked with Walmart. They say they are not responsible--to contact Circuit City. I make that call and find I now am connected to Tiger Direct. They would not issue a return because I had sent the first one mistakenly to Arizona. So I told my daughter in Arizona to throw away the item as it is of no use to her or me. Terrible customer support. Will never order from Walmart, Circuit City, or Tiger Direct. Just stay with Amazon!

Monday night I worked self checkout - a lady left 40.00 on 44 checkout. 2 young girls handed me the money. I placed it in the blue bag with a note. When on my 15 break I went to tell a cms and ** had already accused me of taking it - embarrassed me in front of customers. I take a lot from her. She's out of hand. She was talking to other cms that day rudely in front of customers.
I need my job. I love my customers. What can we do. It seems like reporting her does no good, everyone is told the next time, but she's getting worse. People are under stress when we see we're working with her. Customers complain about her all the time. This is a unhealthy environment as one customer told me. When ask to speak to upper management she loud spoke a customer she is management they had words. I need my job. I want my job just. We need something done. Thank you.

Placed my order online for ship to store on 2/24/15 with it stating that it would arrive at the store by 3/10/15. I called the customer service number and they went to check on the order. Half hour later they got back on the phone with me. Told me that they spoke with the store and UPS and my order is now lost. I could cancel it if I want, but they would give me a discount. I went to hold for a supervisor and got disconnected. Been on the phone for the last 2 hours trying to deal with this issue. Customer service is awful at Walmart. Spoke with ** and ** at the call center and neither one of them seem to even care. The tracking # that the automated system gave me is an invalid tracking number for UPS as well.

Almost a year later myself and other workers in the VALLEY STREAM NY store have complained and the handles are still the same. It took 3 tries to make sure there was money on my gift card that I had tried to use. Then had to give all my info because they thought I needed another card. Call back the 3rd time. Talked to ** who said I had to get it and it was in the mail. Asked to speak to a manager. Took him 4 minutes and all the time he kept giving me the runaround and acting like he was getting someone but was talking about me where I could hear. Finally put someone name ** who didn't want to listen and treat me like I was stupid. All I want is not to get a card I didn't want, just my temp card. I do not like to be lied to and do not ever want to deal with another card or their services again. If I ever receive one again I'm giving it back and tell the person why because I don't believe I need to give my information for a gift I received. I have been a manager before and if we treated customer the way I was treated then we would have been in trouble.

1. I live about 1 mile from a Walmart located at hwy. 40 & 42 in Garner N.C. 2, the other Walmart is located in the next town over hwy. 70 in Clayton N.C. It’s difficult to believe they are both called Walmart. The store on Hwy. 70 in Clayton is organized goods are clearly marked as to price, the employees are very helpful, the store is clean and well stocked. If you can’t find anything ask one of the ladies and they will take you to the item, their produce area is always neat. The other store at hwy. 40 & 42 in Garner resembles a flea market, the place is a mess most of the time, goods for display only (car seats for children) are on the shelf, no stock under shelf. Finally found an employee, she went into back room, no stock on 2 selections. Goods in men’s clothing section are seldom marked with price, nor is the counter they are on. Their produce section is not inviting.
How can 2 stores that close to each other be so different? Doesn't the company have standards? The store on hwy. 70 in Clayton will be my choice in the future, and deserve 2 thumbs up, well done. Thank you for allowing me to vent, 40 years ago I worked part time in a retail store for 18 years and our manager would not stand the store at 40 & 42.

Went shopping at the Aberdeen, Washington store on March 6, 2015. I had not been to the store for over a year and I was shopping by myself even then I am confined to a motorized wheelchair. I was pleasantly surprised when the staff appointed an employee to go with me. She took a cart and guided me around the recently remodeled store. She got everything on my list (even all those items on the top shelves), bagged vegetables and even cleaned up the tomato that I dropped and ran over! After we dropped the cart off at customer service, I went browsing/shopping on my own.
When I went back to get my cart and headed for checkout, another clerk greeted me and ask if I needed help. I told her I was ready to checkout. She took me to her register, which had been closed, and proceeded to empty my cart and check me out. She then offered to help out. She then walked me to the front door where I was to meet my ride. I felt like everyone treated me like royalty. What a nice experience on my first shopping outing in almost a year! Please let them know.

I have been working for Walmart since May 2012, in which every day I go to work the rules change. I started as a cashier then moved to various departments and even worked in Customer Service. I complete every task they set out for me without complaints. They say they are a family business in which they are not. With every Manager you work with the rules change, one will tell you one thing while the other, ten minutes later will tell you something different. When it concerns hours, they dictate to the media that they hired full time employees in which they don't. Every time they put up a posting for full time and you apply it magically comes down saying it will be reposted later. They get away with cutting hours and upping the work load for the night shift they tell you things will get better and they don't.
They change the schedule without calling the employees to let them know and when you go in they ask what you’re doing there and send you home. The first posted schedule magically disappearing where you have no proof that you were supposed to come into work that night, cutting the hours even more. I go from 37.5 hours a week to 15 hours a week struggling to pay bills and keep a roof over my family’s head. I am frustrated that they keep doing this, and when you ask for answers, they have none, saying they are not making enough to pay the employees.
But here is the catch working as a Stocker, night shift... yes they cut the hours, yes they cut the amount of employees to come in, but they want you to do the work of 2 to 3 people. The box count you have to put out goes from 40 to 80 per hour. The management is rude and rides you all night telling you to work faster to get the product out.

The gentleman in line behind my father told the manager the cashier was rude and ignorant. The manager then said, "Well, what would you like me to do?" I told her to hire people that could at least pretend they liked their job. They have the rudest most miserable cashiers I have ever seen.

The Wal-Mart on 54th st in Wyoming is a joke. The store looks like it's going out of business, no shelves are ever stocked or it looks like a bomb went off because the employees are too lazy to do their job. BTW the employees are a nightmare - no one ever wants to help you or they can't because they are always on lunch. Too bad it's the only one in my area otherwise I would never ever step another foot in it.
