Purchased a $370 laptop, spend 10hrs in total across 2 calls to support line and $26 on premium support contract to try and get it working over a 3wk period. Finally told after a system factory reset and full hardware and software diagnostics cannot rectify and return to place of sale for refund. Walmart.com told me to return and gain refund from Walmart store. Walmart store and Walmart.com argued over phone whilst I was at store on whose responsibility it should be. After 1hr both parties said they cannot accept return. Raised with Walmart customer service and now told not taking return due to being outside of 15th Jan return date even though proof it has never worked correctly from Christmas Day. Will never buy from Walmart again and advise others to beware even if it is slightly cheaper at Walmart, it is not worth the hassle of such poor customer aftersales service from a so called retail leader.

In February 2018 I bought Samsung tablet E 9.6" 16 GB. This tablet did not performed well. It worked some days and did not work others. Full battery. So obviously some problem. Because I also bought additional warranty, I let them know. They referred me to Samsung ASC Service. The Samsung service is just a scam that took my good charger and exchanged it to the broken one and sent this tablet back without doing anything else because the tablet still doesn't work. I wrote a review for this product. I would appreciate if people would let me know if there are problem with product I want to buy before I buy. However, the Walmart never published my review. Now I understand why when I was buying this product all reviews were great. Walmart lies. We lose our money because nothing we can do. Officially the product has its warranty, so they are not giving me my money back but also not fixing the problem.

REFURBISHED LAPTOPS THROUGH WALMART ARE A SCAM: After Walmart shipped me a "refurbished" Dell laptop, I found they sent me the wrong item, the battery was completely shot and there were "fatal errors" on the hard-drive. When I returned it, Walmart would not give refund my money, telling me that now I had to deal with their 3rd Party. If I had wanted to do business with a 3rd Party, I would have gone directly through someone else. Two weeks later, I'm told I'm being charged $40 for "restocking and shipping fees". Walmart stole $40 of my money and sent me garbage. DO NOT let them scam you.

I came to Walmart to buy a laptop. Me, my wife, and my three kids waited for one hour because the lady at the electronics section didn’t have the key to open, and get the laptop! My wife was with a huge back pain, so we asked the woman if they had the laptop I wanted. She said she couldn’t check and that we had to wait for the keys, so we stayed there waiting! When the keys finally came, the lady said the laptop was out of stock even though it was displayed to the customers.
I am extremely disappointed with the horrible customer service at Walmart. It isn’t right to display products that are out of stock! Any other store would’ve given me a discount on another product but she said it was against their policy. I told her I could buy the laptop now and get it later, but she said they weren’t able to do this. It’s really annoying to go to Walmart in the United States and have to try to speak Spanish because there are no attendants that know how to communicate in English.

Other morning I have bought 2 to 3 cases of beer sitting in my cart, color TVs and computers in my cart and am never challenged. I am not a crook. I haven't had any real problems with Walmart before this, most cashiers, managers and pharmacy people are pleasant people at this store. My experience at El Dorado Ks on 1/17/19 has me shopping elsewhere or online. I knew this woman had issues with me the moment it was my turn at checkout, she was nonsmiling, rude and ignored my larger item left in the cart child seat right in front of her bar code within easy reach and right in her line of sight. I asked her if she had rang up the cat food left in the cart and told me no. She assumed it was a separate order. Really? Clearly she was out to make it as unpleasant for me as she could make it. I don't care to be stopped at the door for not paying for something.
After the 2nd transaction I started for the door and realized she had put the dog flea medicine and baby powder on top of my tomatoes and cucumbers instead of the bag with the nonfood. Deliberate I don't know, but if I had to guess... So after considering whether to let it go or call a manager I decided to call the manager when I returned home. After asking for a manager and being left on hold for over 7 minutes I called back and was told she had paged him 3x and something else which I did not understand, by this time feeling frustrated and angry.
The only time I felt heard was when I contacted the corporate office. At least the man was polite and I felt heard. Late in the evening that same night the Asst. Manager called and left a message asking about my experience with my improper bagged food. Don't care to deal with that store again, if I have business with Walmart again it will be online or another store. No more store pick up for me or in store shopping for me.

I BEG OF YOU NOT TO SHOP HERE AND TO READ THIS REVIEW. Absolute fecal matter was unlawfully detained for not showing a receipt. Was called a criminal and my life threatened by a ** associate named James. Would not let me leave until I brandished a receipt even though once a transaction is made what you buy is now your lawful property and as an American I can decide when or if my property ever gets searched.
Walmart claims receipt checking is a policy. However it is 100 percent not per corporate because I specifically asked them. Also it is not in their corporate handbook nor are shoppers ever warned before they go into these dumps that they are required to show a receipt to shop there unlike Sam's Club and Costco which in the members agreement you sign away certain rights to shop there. However this is not that. Therefore what they are doing at the store level is unconstitutional and a rogue choice by power hungry minimum wagers of social justice.
I attempted to contact corporate at the very least to see if something can be done. Was given the ring and dash around phone number after phone number until they sent me an email citing I needed to contact the manager of the store. What is the point of corporate if they divert issues reported to them back to the store. This business that has taken billions of dollars of hard working Americans' money now think they can take away Americans' rights too. I don't think so!

OK. So I went to Target today because I was looking for a Raspberry 3b+, I got there and the person behind the counter knew exactly what it was, and took me right to it in less then 30 seconds!!! I was super impressed, the only problem was that it was a 3b and not a 3b+, so I headed a block down the road to Walmart. Couldn't find anyone to help me, so I figured I would just search the shelves. After about 10 minutes of looking I tried my hand at finding some help in the department again. I went back up to the front and lo and behold three of them sitting there chatting, so I interrupted.
I asked what looked to be the most knowledgeable person out of the three if they had any Raspberry Pi's and where they might be and she was like, "what's that," so I told her it was like a credit card sized computer. So I was assuming that she was new until she opened her idiotic mouth and told me "I have been stocking these shelves for seven years and I have never heard of that!" So many things to say and so little time to say them but my first thought was "well you never heard of them! So I guess they don't exist then right!!" Or I could have said "And that's why you have been stocking the shelves for 7 years!!" And lastly I was thinking "You have been working in an ELECTRONICS department for 7 years and you have never heard of a Raspberry Pi?"
It's so hard to follow my new years resolution of being less of an **, I nearly completely blew it tonight. But I just bit my tongue and let it bleed. But what really blew my mind was that TARGET, a store of minimal stock and minimal service reps knew exactly what I needed, where to find it and helped me right when I entered the department. A place like Walmart which has 3 times the reps and stock, didn't know what it was and it took me 10 minutes to find help.

Walmart's poor choice in contracting a delivery service is Worst company I have ever dealt with! I ordered a ping pong table from Walmart January 6th. I received an email from EFW (delivery co) 1/11/2019 saying expected delivery date is 1/15/2019 between 1-5pm then I received another email from EFW on 1/14/2019 saying the same thing. Then I received a automated phone call on 1/14/2019 at 1:37pm from EFW confirming delivery for 1/15/2019 between the hours of 1pm - 5pm. Then I receive a call from a woman at EFW on 1/15/2019 at 4:56 pm asking if I had received my delivery yet, to which I replied "No" and then she said they had picked it up and she had been trying to contact them and kept getting put on hold.
She also told me she was leaving the office in about 5 mins and to call EFW in the morning if it wasn't delivered which I did. Now I get to speak to the rudest customer service woman I have ever spoken to in my life! She would tell me one thing and then tell me something else and say she didn't say what she had just said. First off she put me on hold for about 15 mins. Then she comes back and says that it hasn't been picked up yet and they only make deliveries on Mondays and Wednesdays! She told me that everything the emails, the woman I talked to etc was all just estimations?!! All she did was talk over me and not listen to what I was saying.
Finally I had enough of her disgusting unprofessional attitude and told her I was calling Walmart. The only positive thing she did was give me their number 1 (800) 966-6546. I spoke to a woman named Christina at Walmart and after telling her the situation and giving her the order number she said it should have been delivered 1/15/2019. So she said she would call EFW and see if she could get anywhere with them.
Well, I'm on hold for about 5 mins when all of a sudden I hear the rude customer service woman from EFW talking, apparently Christina had had enough of Miss Rude and put me on the line with her. Miss Rude says that I used foul language which I didn't. Then said she never told me that they only delivered to Clarksville on Mondays and Wednesdays. Then she hung up on me!!! So as it stands I have no idea when I will receive the ordered table. Needless to say I am livid and this company isn't deserving of any stars but unfortunately no stars isn't an option!

I purchased a $100 gift card on walmart.com. Still in the envelope, I believe it accidentally fell into the trash. I went through walmart.com chat & phone reps to try to get it replaced. Three reps didn't listen to what I said. When I relayed the story, they said, "So you didn't receive the gift card." Even when I tell them the prior person screwed that up, they do the exact same thing. Finally, a rep sent me to the Gift Card Dept. The Gift Card Dept said it is Walmart policy to not replace gift cards, even though they can tell it has not been used and can cancel it. The customer service is incredibly incompetent & frustrating, but the policy of Walmart.com simply taking my $100 is utterly absurd. Up to this incident, I had been a frequent Walmart customer. It's unbelievable customers are treated this way.

I bought a vacuum sealer on Walmart's website for a Christmas present for a friend, she had also gotten one from someone else so I decided to take it back to the store. When I got to the store they said they couldn't accept it 'cause it was from a 3rd party seller even though I got it thru their website and told me I had to go online and call their website customer service and I will have to ship it back. That is ridiculous, nowhere did they say that on their website about the return policy if you buy it on their website from a third party seller and it was suppose to be a gift.
When I contacted them previously about a gift receipt they assured me that it could be taken back to the store if they had a receipt or an email. Well that is not the case and now I have the hassle on shipping the darn thing back and probably paying to ship out of my pocket. If they bother to respond to me at all. If stuff is sold on their website, you should be able to take it back to the store regardless if its a 2nd party, 3rd party etc or make sure that the customer knows about the return policy before they buy it. I will NEVER order anything online again from Walmart. 'cause it's basically a ripoff and you never know if you are able to return it or not.

Dear Walmart, I had never imagined I'd be writing this but this is the first time I am so disappointed in your customer service. I had ordered an IPAD Mini 4 through your website yesterday and received a confirmation both on phone and mail about the order being placed successfully. On the phone because turns out there was some issue with the order going through the first time and therefore Walmart contacted me to confirm if it was indeed me trying to place the order. Everything was hunky dory until today when I received a mail from Walmart mentioning the order was canceled for whatever reason. When I contacted the customer care, the executive and later the manager told me the order was canceled by the third party seller who was selling the item and now the new item is selling for an extra 100 dollars and Walmart cannot match the price.
I tried to explain that I bought the item through Walmart and the cancellation happened on the Walmart side so it is you who should be taking the responsibility for it but sadly they did not agree. This is the first time I have seen the Walmart customer care to be so hostile. I am a regular customer at Walmart and had an occasion recently where I bought a laptop from Walmart and there was a delay in shipping and in the end, I ended up receiving 2 laptops instead of one. The customer care throughout that process was extremely friendly and supportive. Of course, I returned the extra laptop at the local Walmart store out of goodwill. But things seem to have gone down the hill since. I had higher hopes from your customer service with respect to my latest transaction. Sorry to say you have disappointed me big time! I purchased a Farberware coffeemaker in Feb. of 2016. It was a gift for my dad. It quit working Jan. 5, 2019. It has a 2 year warranty and my dad had the receipt. The manual said return item to nearest Walmart for replacement. He went to Walmart in Plainfield, Indiana. He was told by customer service that they don't do warranty returns after 90 days.
My dad called me and I called Walmart and after being hung up on 3 times and on hold for 7 minutes I was finally able to talk with a supposed manager. They told me the same thing as they told my dad. He then called the phone number in the manual, it was Walmart corporate customer service. They were very helpful and said the store should have honored the warranty. They sent an email to the store manager with a reference number and told my dad to only speak to a salaried manager. He called before going to the store to make sure it was straightened out. They would not let him speak to a manager and said they knew what they were doing and would not honor the warranty.
Dad called corporate back and they called the store manager to rectify this. Dad then called the store back and the manager said it was straightened out and to come in to get the coffeemaker replaced. Corporate did their job well but the Plainfield store really fell down on this! Hopefully there is retraining for customer service.

There should be negative stars to be able to truly put the reviews as they actually are. I don't believe Walmart deserves one star - not even the tip of a star. I have called Walmart 3 times today and placed on hold for 2 hours trying to find out why my money was never returned to my debit card after an online purchase was returned in the store. I was given three different timelines of how long it would actually take to receive my money back to my debit card. That timeline was anywhere between 72 hours to 10 days.
Why does it take me that long to get my money put back on my card when Walmart has its product in hand? There is no information in the terms and agreement online or in the store regarding the timeframe to return money to the original method of payment. I believe the reason for that is so Walmart can draw interest off of the finds for as long as possible. My New Year's resolution will be to never purchased from Walmart or any affiliated store of Walmart again.

The website stated that the order would arrive in two days from the date I placed the order and one piece of pillow did arrive and when I called Walmart to find out what was going on I was assured I read it wrong and the balance of the order would arrive the 26th - the day after Christmas. When it didn’t I called again and I was told it was to arrive that Saturday - the 29th. Manufacturer is Curtis International a Canadian corporation which in addition to BlackWeb, makes/imports products under RCA, Sylvania, Proscan, etc. When contacted, they advised yes it is under warranty and had me destroy and document as part of resolution under warranty.
Now they have stalled for 60 days claiming an "internal department" is working to resolve. I would caution anyone to beware of Walmart's policy/support for any electronics purchased from Walmart. While I may someday recover my investment, I will never say the value received from Walmart has been worth the hassle of trying to address their and/or their supplier's warranty guarantee.

I haven't used the card before and was shocked to see this. Customer care asked me to go to the store and store representative asked me to call customer care. Once I told customer care this, they asked me to dispute the transaction. I've only paid $76 in iPhone taxes and can't dispute $300. They really messed it up and seems like there is no way around it. Really disappointed with Walmart which has no clue.

I purchased an item online. I received an email telling my item was ready for pick up. I arrived to pick up the item 2 days after the email. Upon arrival I was told the item was canceled due to it waiting for me too long. I asked how long had it been at the store. She said for almost 9 days. I asked why did I not receive an email sooner if it had been there that long. Someone did not check it in as soon as it arrived. Since it was canceled they told me I would have to repay for the item because the funds form the original purchase would be going back to my account. So 3 weeks went by and the funds were not returned. I called and was told the only way for them to refund me is to send it back to the method of payment I used. I told them that was not possible due to the fact the card was canceled by my bank just 2 days before due to a possible compromise. I still have not received a refund.

I ordered a trampoline for my daughter for Christmas, was promised delivery on the 24th. Shipped in 2 shipments - one arrived on time via UPS, one had labels made by Walmart never had it picked up. Result: 1/2 a trampoline and a ruined Christmas. Called supervisors, promised delivery by the 28th. Never happened, they sent it ground. Christmas week ruined. Did finally receive the package on December 31st. In retrospect, it was not worth trying to save some money with Walmart knowing that they could ruin Christmas. Never again!

My package was delivered to the wrong address. I called in and no one was able to resolve the issue. I had my call escalated and the only resolution I received was to dispute the charge with my financial institution. Which is by far the worst resolution. I have worked in customer service/management for over 13 years and Walmart has the worst online service I have ever encountered. I kept calling and contacted FedEx numerous times and finally one person was able to figure it out. My package was delivered to the Walmart store with about 50 other packages all signed for by A.C., a store associate. Walmart.com was not able to figure it out and made everything about the situation horrible. I was hung up on and left on hold for over 30 minutes, and still no resolution.
I have told everyone I know about this and the treatment I received. I will be reaching out to their corporate office and social media to make sure no one else has to go through what I did. I went to my local Walmart and had them track down the package and took it home myself. I looked to Walmart stores and Walmart.com for just about everything but I will no longer patronize a business that has nothing in place for situations as such and who hires incompetent people who could care less about the customers' merchandise being delivered or refunded if the item is delivered to the wrong address. I am extremely livid with the company as a whole and will be sure to share my experience everywhere I can.

I ordered the Apollo recording sunglasses online. 2 days later, I receive an email that my order has been cancelled. No reason. I called them and spoke to someone who first stated that the address I was giving them was not the address on my account. I told her that I was looking at my account and I also live there, and yes, that is my address. She stated again that it was not the address on my account. I repeated the address in very slow, easy to understand speech, that even a 5 year old could understand. Then she got it right. I asked her why she stated that wasn't my address. She ignored the question. I asked her again until she finally admitted it was her error.
Moving along, I asked her why my order was cancelled. She had no explanation, she just kept stating I had cancelled it and I told her I did not cancel it. I asked to speak to her supervisor. She said there were no supervisors on duty. I asked for her name and ID number. She did give those to me. I told her I would contact the department to speak to a different person. She asked if I wanted her to transfer me and I said no, I will call back directly. So I did just that. Got the same exact result from person #2. Told them, "Never mind, I will order from Amazon," and I did just that without a problem. I have been an online Walmart customer for years. No more, it's too time consuming ordering a product and dealing with this nonsense.

This says they scanned it 5 days later. I'm still waiting for the refund 2 weeks later. Talk about foot-dragging. It did not take me 2 weeks to buy the item. Never again.

For such a big store or you think they’d be a little bit more merchandise so they don’t run out of everything all the time. I come here about once a month. They’re always out of something popular. Took 13 minutes I kept track till they started scanning my items at check out. They only have four cashiers working for this very large Walmart store. Lots of yellow shirt people standing around but our employees talking and doing nothing not helping customers. They should be on the register checking customers out. Target or other competitors can easily take Walmart's business away if they promised to keep check out times to four minutes or less, usually Target is quicker, because they employ more cashiers at check out.

Elizabeth laughed and said “oh those are automated emails they don’t mean anything.”
I asked to speak to a supervisor, she put me on hold for 10 minutes. I called back and spoke to “Jessica”. The supervisor - she answered in a voice like she just crawled out of bed, “helllooo??” I said, “is this EFW? Her reply “yes” I respond, "oh it doesn’t seem like a professional way to answer a call." I have been using the online order and pick up in store from many stores and they are good except Walmart. It was a worst experience that I never use it again. I ordered an Lego toy for birthday on Saturday. The order said it should be ready by 8PM on Friday so I thought it would good because I could pick up after 8PM on Friday or early Saturday morning. On Friday, I drove by that Walmart and decided to come in. I found 2 boxes of that Lego toy left but the price was more than online so I did not buy it.
Around 7PM, I received email from Walmart saying the order would be delayed 'til Monday. I called the store pick up and they said they ran out of that Lego toy. This meant they never bothered to reserve the item when you submitted the online order. I decided to order Amazon because it was ready to pick up on Saturday morning at Amazon Locker. As soon as I ordered from Amazon, another email came after 8PM on Friday saying the order was ready to pick up. I was pissed off so I decided to cancel the order.
Few weeks later, I had two orders. One order with 3 toys and another order with one toy. I received the notification email saying the first order was ready to pick up. I came to the store around 9AM hoping to beat the terrible traffic but I still had to wait patiently in line for 10-15 minutes. There was 3 people behind me. One man came and asked where to pick up online and an associate pointed to the same line so he was the last one. When another associate came to help out, she pulled out the last person in line to help the pick up when she ignored me the first person in line. When I complained to the supervisor who stood nearby, the answer I got was "She did not know." What!! What did she mean "She did not know." That should be common sense and basic customer service to help first person in line. They definitely needs to provide the basic training to their employees.
The second order I mentioned above came and I got the notification while I was at work so I decided to pick up after work. At 4:51PM, while I was still at work, I received an email saying my order was picked. What!!! I came to the store next day at 9AM. The supervisor said I already picked the order at 11AM yesterday (not sure why I received email at 4:51PM). I told her that I was at work. She told me that she needed to check the camera to find out who picked my order and asked me to come back at 1PM. I came back at 1PM waiting in line for 5 minutes and she said she did not have the time to review the camera. She told me to come back at 8:30AM the next day so I did. When I saw her, she said the video person would not come until 8:45AM so I told her to call me because I spent so much time on this and had to go to work. At 1PM, she called and told me that she found my order. Phew!! I almost got package theft at Walmart pick up.

So I resubmitted the order making sure all the info was correct but got the same result. I called my credit card company to see if there was a hold or something on my account. They told me that they approved the sale twice but it was WALMART who twice rejected the order. I called Walmart customer service and they couldn't tell me what the problem was.
After several long waits and no answers as to why they wouldn't accept my credit card, I was told that they would give me the privilege of submitting the order a third time and that they would possibly verify my card but that would likely take two or three days. I said I wanted to file a complaint and I wanted the address of Walmart Corporate Headquarters. After another very lengthy wait, I was told to call the "Claims" number or Dept. I asked who they were. I normally don't even shop at Walmart as I find most of their products to be subpar quality, especially groceries. But they had a laptop on sale that was actually a pretty good deal. That's where I made a mistake. I ordered this laptop off of Walmart.com, well after getting a confirmation and the money taken out of my account, 2 hours later I get an email saying my order was cancelled, yet they still had my money. I called Walmart which then told me it would take 5 business days to get my money back per the return policy, which I made clear it wasn't a return, you took my money then cancelled my order. At this point I'm down $850, but I needed the laptop for Christmas.
They assured me that the order would go through a second time but that I would be charged again because it's a different transaction. At this point the cash is tight, but I decide to order it anyway, thinking I would get back the $850 soon. Now I'm $1700 down. I get a confirmation email that it has been ordered but now it's arriving on 26th, after Christmas, well at least it's coming right? Wrong, another hours goes a by and I get a cancellation email, but again, the money was not returned. It's now the 26th, when I was supposed to be receiving the laptop that I told my niece I got for her.
As of today, I'm out $1700 until Walmart decides to give me my money back, no gift for my niece, and no money. I would have took her out today to buy a brand new one from Best Buy even if it cost more but I can't do that. This company is a disgrace, I will never leave my Amazon, for the few dollars you might save with Walmart, it's such a bad experience with these people. It's not worth it. Stay away, 2 years of Amazon, not a single issue I can think of. Just wanted to share a horrible shopping experience I had at the Walmart Photo Center in Sartell, MN. Long story short I needed to go pick up 5 prints. I thought they were in my girlfriend's name so I initially gave them the wrong name, so it's partially my fault but this doesn't account for the experience I had. I ended up standing at the counter for a total of 31 minutes, during which time four different employees came over to ask if I've been help. I should have said "no" because apparently I wasn't being helped. I realized I gave the wrong name after about 5-6 minutes but the employee, who was a manager by the way, had disappeared in the back so I couldn't even tell him to correct it. I eventually managed to get another employee's attention who radioed him, yet he still never returned from the back (he never ended up coming back to the counter).
After about 12 more minutes of me standing there like an idiot a different employee comes up and has me write the name the prints are under on a piece of paper. She then disappears for about 15 more minutes while I continue to just stand at the counter. A different employee eventually comes out and tells me that they're getting my order ready. They're getting my order ready? It was a one hour photo of 5 prints that was sent in two days ago! How are they just now getting my order ready? I was literally standing at the photo counter for 31 minutes, and the store was fairly busy overall but there weren't that many customers in the photo area. 31 MINUTES. TO PICK UP 5 PRINTS COSTING $4.20. Then to top it all off when I go to the front to pay I realize there's no price label on the prints.
It's possible the woman back at the photo counter intended to give them to me for free, but if so she never said that or provided any documentation or anything to show they should be free. All she gave me was a brief, "sorry about that." So at the front I realize the lack of a price label and show the employee up there, asking her how I ring this up. She tells me I need to GO BACK TO THE PHOTO COUNTER, where I just lost 31 minutes of my life that I'm never going to get back. I tell her I was already there for over 30 minutes and it's just 5 prints. Could Walmart offer me them for free for such an inconvenience? Apparently not!
Again, the total cost for the prints was $4.20. She insists I need to go back to photo to get the price label and I then spend another 6 minutes waiting for someone, during which time I touched the screen to call an associate 3 times before someone came over. Again, all I got the entire time was a brief, "sorry about that" from the employee who finally handed me the prints. It took an active, conscious effort not to scream, throw the prints, and storm out. I didn't realize how much Walmart Photo hates its customers, so that was a revelation at least. One of the worst shopping experiences of my life.

While I did NOT demand the refund, the customer care offered a refund and I only accepted it.

I entrusted Walmart to stand behind their promise when I decided to purchase my daughter’s only Xmas present from me. Her scout ride on pony. I ordered it way ahead of date “December 13th“ to ensure I would get the package with time to spare. I was told the package would be here by the 20th of December. The 20th came and went. Now after several hours with customer support they have realized that the package was lost. Their solution was to reorder it which meant that it would be here after the New Year. Or to refund my purchase which meant my money would not be back in my account until after about seven days which would still leave me completely screwed...
I was very clear over and over that this was unacceptable. My daughter would not have a present to open!! Why couldn’t they overnight it??? Because it would be without doubt be here on time. And I know without a doubt that overnighting it is possible. Their answer was because I didn’t pay for overnight on the original order... It was Walmart’s responsibility to make it right. I’m at a complete loss with this and furious with the lack of concern or respectable resolution. The most ridiculous part is that I can drive less than a mile down the street and pick up the ride on pony because my local Walmart has them in stock... But customer service does not have the time or concern to forward my purchase to that store so I can get the item I paid for as a Xmas gift. I have no doubts that this is a possibility as well because I have had a similar situation with Sears and they did exactly that. This is hands down the worst customer service I have ever had.

I shop Walmart online every year for Christmas. I use it for birthdays. I use it for a lot. I also shop there weekly for food but not anymore. First I bought a computer. They sent it to me and it was refurbished. I called them and I said I did not see where it said this was refurbished. They said, "Well it was bought through third-party on Walmart Marketplace." First off I had no idea. I thought I was buying it from Walmart online. I didn't know. They informed me that it would take up to five to seven days to get our money back after they received my return so I had to go ahead and purchase a second computer. I called online Walmart and I talk to somebody and explain to them what had happened and ask them if I gave them the item number if they would check to make sure that this was a new computer not refurbished. I did that. They said that it was a brand new computer and it was on its way.
So few days later the second computer arrives. I open it. Could not believe it. It was refurbished as well. I had two refurbished computers so I call. I told them on Walmart online. I spoke to someone. Let them know I do not want a refurbished computer. Told them that I talk to someone who assured me that it was not refurbished and behold here I am again. They said, "No problem ma'am. We will please send back this computer and we will send you a new one." I said, "Okay great. Thank you." I sent the second refurbished computer back.
I waited and waited. I called them every day. Every day and here we are a few days before Christmas and I still have not gotten my brand new computer so after speaking to people every day I finally spoke to a supervisor. I told them what had happened everything that I had been through. Told him I was told by three or four different people that my return computer was already there and they didn't understand why the new one wasn't ship. The supervisor comes on nasty to me and says, "I don't know what to tell you. It's not at Indianapolis yet and when it does get there it could take five days or more for them to send it out." I said I was told by five different people that it was at the Indianapolis warehouse and I didn't understand the young man I spoke to before he connected me to the supervisor. Told me that he didn't understand why I didn't have my computer yet the supervisor was very hateful.
Mind you none of this was my fault. She knew that none of this was my fault that it was their mistake. It didn't matter so I asked her if there was any way I was going to get this by Christmas because this was a gift for my parents and she said, "Well how am I supposed to know." It's not looking good so I had enough. I told them to put my money back on my card and I would go somewhere else. She said, "Fine if that's what you want," and then she said bye and hung the phone up. And let me just say that that's not the only thing that happened dealing with Walmart online. I had told the supervisor that I had ordered a Rapunzel doll and it got lost.
They refunded my card and I had to go to Target to get another Rapunzel. She says, "Well that was the shipping department not us. That's not our fault" and I said, "Well what about this situation. I receive two refurbished computers. When I ordered a new one this doesn't have anything to do with shipping." She said no. This distribution she wouldn't even take responsibility for any mistakes and the fact that she was rude. I will never again order from Walmart online which is a shame because I have spent a lot of money through them. Man like I said I use them every year but never again.
This was the absolute worst experience and I refuse to give my parents a used computer for Christmas so now I have to go to a different store and buy it. This wasn't on me. I did everything I was supposed to do right away. When they told me to send him either computer back I did and still I was treated and spoke to very rudely and treated as if it was my fault. As I said never again.

My name is Jordan ** and I bought a 55-inch TV from Walmart on Cyber Monday... Big mistake!! I will start this review by saying I have never written a bad review before and I’ve had many. Walmart really did a horrible job this time and I’ve been going back and forth with them for weeks both in store and on the phone. I bought a TV on Black Friday for a great price. Received my TV via in-store pick up, no problem there. I get home and install my TV mount on the wall. When I take my TV out of the box and plug it in the screen has been broken... I call the store I picked it up from and they tell me to bring it back the next day and they will replace it. Of course they didn’t or I wouldn’t be writing this review. I go to Walmart, stand in line for 30 mins only to be told to go to end of line because they needed to call supervisor who didn’t show up for another 30 mins. She then tells me there’s nothing she can do and after arguing for about 20 mins I leave.
I call Walmart corporate and they tell me to take it in the next day and do an exchange (which is what I just tried to do). I do it anyway and the same thing happens, but instead of leaving at the end the supervisor tells me to go look for one to exchange. I’ve never been told to do the job of the company I’m buying from, I’m pretty sure she could have looked it up in her computer. She also tells me if I find one she will have to refund my price and sell it to me full price since it wasn’t Cyber Monday any longer.
This put me over the ledge. I left and called corporate and have been dealing with them since, thinking they have more pull and can just get me what I want no hassle. I WAS WRONG!!! No one knows what’s going on even though each time I’ve called it is documented in a report. They have told me they will pick it up two different times now and I’ve taken off work to make sure I’m home when they pick it up... NO ONE EVER CAME TO PICK IT UP! Yet still the TV sits next to my front door... I have yet to receive my replacement TV and the old TV still sits next to my front door. I’m at a loss of words on how bad of an experience this has been.
FOR FUTURE BUYERS OF WALMART PRODUCTS: Yes they will have great prices, but to save yourself from the headache and blowing your money go to Best Buy or any other store offering any reasonable deal. Even spend a little more at any other store, don’t cut corners and get a cheap broken product that Walmart will not take back. Biggest waste of money and time I’ve ever experienced! PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF AND BUY ELSEWHERE!!!

Walmart’s new policy of Customer Disservice. Walmart has a new policy for you, their clientele. It involves introducing you to their also fairly new check-out procedures, using self-service “Scan and Go” technology. This technology was pretty much abandoned in most of their trial-balloon stores a few months ago when its unpopularity with customers became clear. But in some stores—Kerrville, Texas is one—it is getting a renewed boost, despite its unpopularity.
The technology requires that customers scan the product barcodes with their smartphones. Of course, fresh produce, etc. has to be weighed, which is not very popular with many shoppers who are not used to doing that. Then you have to pay, of course, and then you have to bag your own items. Yeah, that’s a lot of work that you, the customer, has to do…for Walmart. You know, so they don’t have to pay an employee to do it for you. If those checkouts gave an automatic 25 percent discount on all items, I might be tempted. But I decided to stick with the old employee-checks-you-out routine, in part because I don’t even carry a cell phone. However, Walmart decided to make a couple more changes, to further entice me over to their Scan and Go checkouts.
They cut the number of employees available to check you out. And then they cut them some more. And then they seem to have encouraged the few remaining employees to be as slow as humanly possible, just to tempt you further to abandon their paid personnel in favor of the far cheaper do-it-yourself version. Uh, that is, cheaper for Walmart, not cheaper for you. Three times in the past three weeks I have been held up in line for painful minutes, while we all just stood there waiting for a manager to come resolve an issue, or for the register operator to maneuver through a particularly difficult check-out. Those were the last three times in Walmart for me. Three in a row. That’s not going to get me back in Walmart any time soon, if it can be avoided.
But I did come up with a protest action that might help encourage them to abandon this irresponsible customer disservice. On my last trip, I waited for what must have been 15 minutes behind only one customer in front of me in line. We waited for a manager who never came. I wound up moving my cart over to the side and leaving it there for one of their employees to restock all of the items. After several patrons in line behind me had walked off to find better venues, the woman directly behind me implored, “Don’t give up.” But I said I had no more time for this, and walked out.
In retrospect, I now see this as a possible protest that can work to our advantage (and that of the employees who want to keep their jobs). If your line stalls for more than five minutes, walk out. Leave the cart and just walk out to shop elsewhere. To heck with Walmart’s staff-cutting procedures, and their deliberate attempt to make employee checkouts more difficult and cumbersome.
I believe I will now shop for items I need elsewhere. And on a day when I am not busy, go to Walmart for things I really don’t need (but could use if suddenly customer service improves to acceptable levels). Load up that darned cart. Then go to the checkout line. Wait there for my four minutes and thirty seconds, and walk the heck out. I figure once a week might be in order.

Estimated delivery date of the 29th, but with Thanksgiving and holidays I knew it would take longer. So I finally wait until Dec 5th to call customer service. I am told my order has been lost somehow and they would issue a refund or replacement. Yes this is helpful as any company should be, but I had no idea anything was wrong with the order until almost 2 weeks after and I was the one who needed to even initiate it. Anyways, the reduced price window had passed so I did a replacement.
Ordered Dec 5th by the Walmart customer service, estimated delivery date of the 12th. YRC shipping again, but this time it originates in Georgia. Using the YRC portal I tracked it EACH day to make sure it doesn't get 'lost' again. As of Dec 12th it has been arrived in the store for pick-up signed by a Walmart representative. Considering any issues that could arise, I stayed patient until today Dec 14th. I called the local store I’d be picking up from and they have absolutely no record of the item arriving in their store. Called surrounding Walmarts in case of delivery mistakes, but they did not even have my order information.
The item seems to have been lost once again except this time I am traveling out of state and will not be around for the 3rd replacement order arrival date. Horribly disgusted with the lack of care from Walmart and their YRC freight partner. As said in the headline, each order has been $901 so Walmart has now 'lost' $1,802 just in these 2 single item orders... I am only losing time on the TV, which has been paid for so must be delivered as long as it is in stock at Walmart. I am perfectly happy continuously having to replace the lost $901 until Walmart or YRC understand how much they have lost.

I made a simple purchase using Walmart's online pickup at the Walmart store located North Star, MD. Well it's December so of course most Walmart stores everywhere are extremely busy. So I had to wait about 20 mins to receive my online order. After which I was on my merry way. My Walmart purchase was for a pre-paid cell phone to use for any possible home backup family emergencies. I wasn't aware that cell phone's purchased whether prepaid or not but the item such as a cell phone cannot be activated without first being scanned at the store. So once I returned home I realized after calling the cell carrier to set up my cell phone that my phone was not scanned at the Walmart North Star location and therefore my cell phone could not be activated. Well the next day I travel out a closer Walmart which is located at Wilton Blvd in New Castle, DE to see if I could have the phone scanned and finally resolve all this.
I brought along of my online receipts which included my order number. I go over to the customer service area and the representative helping me said the item could not be returned or scanned because she was getting an error message on her register and I would need to call Walmart's main customer service number to resolve my issue. So following her instructions while still in store I call up Walmart's main customer service number and spoke to an agent. The agent was trying to explain to me what to do to have my phone activated. I told the Walmart agent that I was still in the store near the customer service area and if could she explain to the stores customer service rep what needed to be done, and the agent said she could do this no problem.
So I quickly approach the customer service line and I was pretty happy because NO ONE was in line, but after standing there alone in line for a few minutes I realized that I was being completely ignored. This was because one customer service agent was carrying on a conversation with another agent and COMPLETELY ignored me. I then told the phone agent that I would just leave the store and call back to resolve this issue. Well calling back to Walmart's main customer service line also accomplished nothing because the tech person said they would send me a software link to my email address that would help me to activate my phone, but this special link would not arrive to my email for at least 24 hours!
I was just so APPALLED at the entire experience. Well I'm a loyal Walmart customer and typically do not run into these situations. But now I'm unhappily stuck with a prepaid cell phone that I might as well give to my cat to play with. Merry Christmas cat. And Thanks Walmart for taking my money and providing me with no solution to my issue. Please shoppers Just beware of all the rules when placing an order for picking up your online orders. Not to mention the packaging slips in the incorrect order was the stuff I ordered, the customer service rep wants to offer me $10.00 for the inconvenience caused. That's not even close to the stress it's causing me. Now I have to wait for my refund then go shopping at Toys R Us. THANKS, WALMART BUT NEVER AGAIN!!! I will make sure none of my family or friends shops with Walmart ever again.

Walmart is in a class by itself. They do not seem selective about the employees they hire. Many have no concept of customer service. Most times when shopping I find I can find an item I'm looking for at a cheaper cost. But with that cost reduction I find the quality is just not what other stores offer at a similar price or moderate increase. And these "greeters" have just got to go. I refuse to share my receipt with anybody upon exiting any store.

Ordered 2 food processors in a 60 day period. These were ordered through the grocery pick up app. Both processors either never worked out of the box or stopped working in less than 30 days. Called customer care line because that's what the employee from the pickup dept stated to do. Called customer care, they said neither item could be refunded because they had to be returned back to the store for a refund. Took the items back, the CS dept could not look up my order with the order numbers provided in my email when the items were picked up and paid for, not found using an email address or my phone number. All if these items were listed as paid for on the email with my receipt. It sounds like technology is behind when it comes to online pickup orders and the store inability to look up your items you actually received from that store.
After about 15 min and 3 people trying to figure this out, they wanted to offer me a gift card to use in the store for my refund. I said, "But why, I have a receipt and these were paid for through my debit card. I want a refund since the items I bought were defective or stopped working after less than 5 uses." I was finally given a credit back into my account, let's see how long it takes for them to give that refund. This cured my ideas for ever purchasing any household appliance or houseware items that are plugged in and require power to run. They make it a point to waste your time and take their time to give you a refund on products that are substandard. I will be making purchases like this at others stores other than Walmart, from now on.

Shopping at Walmart is a chore, one of the reasons that I buy my medicine there but almost nothing else. There was a time even two years ago when I bought almost everything there, but their miserable customer service, their lack of sales help on the floor, and the three registers that they can keep open made me discover Kroger for my groceries and my local farm store for my pet supplies. If I lived closer to a large city, I wouldn't use Walmart for anything.

I ordered something on Cyber Monday and it was a bundle and came with a gift card as an extra add item. They cancelled my order. When I called to find out why it took two hours to get nowhere. The system kicked my order out. I spend lots of money at no less than 10 other retailers and every other item I ordered I received. Now they will not honor the price from that day (about $50 on a $300 item) or honor the extra gift card (a $35 value). When I received the email from them there was no reason given but a link to their website.
They have the worst website for trying to get a number to call them so that took forever trying to navigate. Once I finally got a live person on the phone I spoke to four different people both Tier one and Tier two. None of whom could tell me exactly why my order was cancelled. After two hours of my life I will never get back, I still can’t understand why Walmart cannot get their customer service up to par with that of Amazon, Zappos or even Target. I promise they are not worth the time or aggravation of dealing with! Time to boycott Walmart and deal with retailers that have figured out the customer service side of things!!!

Ordered online and did not receive items as promised. FedEx only had a shipping label from Walmart with no package. Walmart showed items shipped and collected payment. When I called Walmart customer service they noticed the items were never given to FedEx to send. The customer service agent blamed FedEx, and stated she doesn't have an answer for me as to "why it happened," and had the nerve to say "that's why I never do online shopping." What a way to support her company's mission to be competitive in online shopping.
So, she reordered my items and said she cannot guarantee shipment. What a lack of management oversight! Definitely not a reliable place to do online shopping, they will charge you for items that aren't actually sent (but will create a shipping label), and still not guarantee shipment for your order. Poor management, shady business antics, poor customer service, and definitely not competitive compared to other online shopping experiences.

I placed an order with Walmart last August. When the order wasn’t delivered in the 2 day shipping I returned the order online and was told to take the items to my local Walmart store. They gave me no receipt because it was already returned online, they would ship the items back. Now Walmart is saying that they didn’t receive the items back, no record of items that I returned to the store. They claim they sent an email telling me this and I was responsible for the entire amount of order. I never got an email about this and now my credit card is still charging me and Walmart doesn’t believe I took the packages to the store. I didn’t even open the packages, wrote return to sender on them and left them with the customer service desk at the store.
There is NO reason I should pay for items I don’t have! I’m tired of getting somebody different every time I call their helpline, each person has a different story and no one will help me. Walmart.com is the worse company I have dealt with in DECADES. I ordered an iPad on Black Friday, Nov 23, which the website said I could pick up in store that day. After I placed/paid for the order I got a message saying it would take two days to process. Later that day later I got a message telling me the order was canceled. The following morning I get a message saying the order was delayed, and not yet ready for pickup [not canceled]. The following day I check online and it says the order was canceled. At this point my son crying because he had been excitedly awaiting his iPad.
Separately, on the same day, Nov 23, I order a Fitbit. I get an email on Nov 24 letting me the item is ready for pickup. Heading out the door, I go to print the confirmation number and see another message the order was not ready. I would be notified when it was available. I cancel that order and use the company I typically use for online purchases. I have the Fitbit in 48 hours, no hassle. Yesterday I discover that Walmart has not refunded me for my purchase, so tonight I spend 20 minutes trying to figure out how to get my refund and that is now pending. This was a total of NINE conflicting messages/errors about these two purchases. APPALLING and hurtful to customers who trust they can deliver a product!

At this point, I'm at a complete loss about my entire experience ordering from Walmart.com on Black Friday. Since I placed an order for a PS4 Spiderman bundle on Thanksgiving Day, I have spoke with managers at the store, spoke with a supervisor at the Corporate Customer Center, and even tried emailing them after they apparently lost my order.
No one has been helpful at all. Instead of swapping, finding a way to reorder, or simply just locating the item that they lost, I am stuck with no way to get the item again because it is unsurprisingly since sold-out. All I have been looking for is for someone at the company to take responsibility for an item they completely failed to get to me in a timely manner and even at all in the first place. This has definitely let me know to never order anything from Walmart.com, and I believe it might be better to just stay away from the store altogether based on the tremendously bad consumer service that I've experienced.

They put him on hold and came back to say yes we can but we had to purchase it first and call back to get the difference. A reference number was given to confirm the price match. Long story short!! We ordered, called back and they told us they couldn't price match cause it was from a third party. My husband argued with them for over an hour. Finally he says... "Cancel our order please" so they tell us they can't. That we had to go online and cancel it there.
I go online and my order doesn't even show nor is there a cancel order option to that order so we call back. By this time it's like the fifth person we have spoken to. He says, "Yes I can cancel it" and tells us it has and to expect an email of cancellation within the next 24hours. We got the email... Stating that our order has been shipped. I will never shop at Walmart again!!! If there was a zero star option that is exactly what they would get. I don't care if it's a third party seller... You have it on your website that you are selling it. As soon as it gets here it will be going straight back.

He starts by asking why didn’t I have a sticker on my bag? Huh? What sticker? I said I didn’t know anything about a sticker, to which he said someone was supposed to place one on my bag when I walked in. Well, I told him there was no one at the door to give me one. Walmart has recently changed its Savings Catcher Program as of 10/29/18. It is no longer a customer friendly option. This is their explanation of the new method of participation. "As of today, our Terms of Use for Savings Catcher has changed, and Walmart Pay will be the exclusive way to submit your receipt to Savings Catcher. This will allow you to both submit and spend your Savings Catcher rewards within the same Walmart Pay experience. Due to this change, the ability to submit scanned receipts within the app or submit via desktop has been discontinued."
Unfortunately, in order to utilize the Walmart Pay app it requires the use of a 'Smart Phone.' Believe it or not, there are still people in this world who do not use 'Smart Phones.' There are people who cannot afford the outrageous continuing cost of owning a 'Smart Phone.' Those are most likely the people who would benefit the greatest from participation in the very Savings Catcher program which they are no longer able to access due to this change in term.
We did contact Walmart Corporate headquarters by calling 1-800-WALMART. And while we were advised repeatedly that "Walmart" did not wish to lose any of their valued customers, unfortunately there was no other way to accommodate a customer who does not have a "Smart Phone" that will enable their participation in their Savings Catcher program. End of story - ADIOS! It is a sad commentary that I now find myself traveling to other competitors in my area instead of driving a simple two blocks from my home rather than waste my time and money at Walmart.

Upon explaining it did not work and producing my receipt, the person next to my associate looked over and thought I was returning the new one in a box with a sensor I was told to get. She started to get involved and I had to explain I was told to get a new one for them to scan as I did not have a box. The person attending to me must have been new and allowed this woman to take over while she kept her customer waiting. She then told me “they needed the box” so I could not return the item only exchange it for the same thing. I hardly would want the same one if after two weeks the sensor stopped working. And I said their return policy doesn't state you need to hold onto the box. It says Walmart will return any item within 90 days with or without the receipt.
They then called another associate who came by after several minutes and after explaining the situation, she said she would have to call someone. All this time the return line is getting longer. Finally after the call, she told the associate to process the return. The associate proceeds to take the coffee maker which I had wrapped in a box (as it had a glass carafe) and the other associate next to her tells her she needs to unwrap it and give the box back to me. My associate then proceeds to process the credit to my charge and instead to crediting my charge, puts it through as a purchase. Thankfully I caught it, hope it was not processed that way. Will check my next statement. Then end result is I will Never shop here again, and will certainly tell my friends and family not to shop there. I've spent this afternoon talking with several Customer Service Reps & even called Corporate who connected me once again to "Customer Service". I ordered a large photo album, about 3x the size of standard so my cost was 3x too. Today I rec'd a Fedex package. with an insert showing my address & first page of the photo album I should have rec'd; however inside was a standard photo album of two girls I don't recognize. I can only assume they rec'd my album. I am so upset because most of my photos were of my grandchild. In this world of high-tech security, you'd think Walmart would have a back-up plan to locate where they actually sent my photo album!!!
The albums need to have a number printed on the back that would identify the owners, in which case at least an honest person could return it & get it re-routed to the right people. Rather, Walmart's answer was to give me a refund, tell me to order again & trash the one I rec'd in error. This is no answer! I think most anyone would be upset to know their personal photos were in the hands of strangers & possibly being thrown in the trash. This is not acceptable & I can't believe Walmart doesn't have better record-keeping methods in place. I will NEVER use their services again for photo albums. Mistakes happen, but there should be a way to follow up & make it right.

On Oct 23, 2018 I ordered 4 items on walmart.com. I got 1 item. They lost 2 (resent and picked up on the 31st.) of the 4 and the final 4th one was damaged (Walmart canceled it). I had to contact them to find this out. The store could not tell me why other than it was cancelled after it already got to the store for pickup? On Oct 31, 2018 I requested to just refund me the 4th item its charge. The person said - "Let me take care of that for you." A few minutes later after that I went back on walmart.com and they did not do what I was just told. They REORDERED it... I canceled right then. Then on the (8th of NOV.) was told the refund was started on the 31st. And that my card/bank was holding the money... ALL LIES!
Today 10-19-2018 still no refund! Bank told me they can start a dispute but to call them and ask what is going on one more time. I called Walmart and like before they seem to take of it right now!?? Or are they? I am not sure at this point if they are lying or what? Got told it will take 3-5 business days to refund me. Why should it take like 22 or more business day to process a refund? Sad part is I know there is people there trying to do their job but, this is just wrong!

So in Miles City Montana the only good stores you have are Walmart and Ace Hardware. There are other good stores but small ones that are expensive. Anyways Ace Hardware is another spendy one and it's more about tools obviously so that leaves Walmart store #2608. This store is the only store around for miles, hr and a half drive worth of miles in any direction going east to west. So being like the only good store you'd think they'd have better options in stock... They don't and they are terrible when it comes to keeping things in stock that are worth getting.
Half the time on the website I can't even have them do up an order to get the products in. Says not available at this time, yet I can go to another Walmart and guess what? They are available. Walmart.com was supposed to be a way to basically get an on demand stock option. Yes, some things would not be worth the money to stock just only for one sale. But I'm usually not looking at the one time unique buy. Things I need are something a lot of people would buy to so the products would sell. So wtf Walmart get it together store #2608.

That was fine, albeit rude, so we set a day (Monday) to come back and woke up three hours early to go to the store so we could be serviced, but the center was closed without warning. This complaint is regarding the Lincolnton NC store and customer service at the corporate office. I purchased a wig my granddaughter for Halloween and the next day she changed her mind. No problem, as Walmart advertises any return with receipt with 90 days for in store purchases. To my surprise when I went to return the wig in its original packaging 2 days after Halloween with the original receipt; I was told "we don't take back Halloween items". Really where does it state that? Not on the receipt, not in the store, and not online, I searched and searched for that policy and can not find it. So I contacted corporate customer service and their response was "returns are determined by the store manager". So store managers override corporate policy? If I had known about the policy, I would have run out that night and returned it; but again that was impossible since there is nothing stating that.
In addition, the store is out of items all the time; and this is months at a time. For example, Duncan Hines yellow cake mix -- common item at any store -- they have been out for at least 3 weeks. They are out of most of the cake mix, except red velvet -- must be 60 boxes of it. LOL. The jewelry department earring rack is almost empty. Everytime I try to find out when or if the item will be in stock, the employee will state "I don't know; I just started working here."
One sales person did actually look it up for me and swore it was in stock; when I asked him to show it to me, he couldn't find it and said "they moved it I guess - I'll help you find. I'll see if it is in the back." He never bothered to come back. Customer service is terrible. They make me feel like a thief if I try to return anything and lies or hides if you need help finding something. One more thing that really upsets me, is their website. It returns everything except what you are looking for and it is impossible to do a search for a certain item, sold by Walmart in the store and is in stock. I usually just give up if I don't know the id# of the item.

Walmart is getting sloppy everyday. Never having things in stock. Making promises to customers they can't keep. Now what they do next change the saving catcher I spent all this money for Thanksgiving and now I can't scan my receipt. That why I shop to see saving. So now I have to waste my time and the customers time behind me scanning the code on the screen. WTH! I don't have time for all of this. This company is so damn greedy that they don't trust their customers to scan their own receipt when it convenient for them and not Walmart. This is why I stop spending a lot money at Walmarts. They are getting petty and petty. I shopped at many of the Walmarts and prices aren't matching up when I get to the register and then they act like they can't help solve the problem.
When they do check they don't honor the price instead they argue with you about giving you that price. It is not the customer's responsibility to clean your stores or put things where they go. Now this is a billion dollar company that's worried about a couple of dollars instead of worrying about losing a few customers. Two years ago I stopped spending a lot of money with Walmart so I go back in thinking maybe it got better. Boy was I wrong. It's even worse than what it was 2 years ago. Normally if I do go in Walmart the most I would spend is $20 or less. That's all they deserve of my money... In the future Walmart need to cater to their dedicated customers and stop running them away. CHANGE FOR THE BETTER.

I was so excited for the savings found as I had come to Walmart tonight specifically for a power cord. Sondra the cashier however would not allow me to purchase the power cord for $3.50. She said I would have to pay $9 because that is Walmart’s policy.

I asked her about the policy online, and she showed me a laminated, more detailed return policy, which at the bottom, that the store highlighted, said "Store management may change these policies at their discretion". The item was shipped from Korea. Would be delivered to the store for pickup, as doing so saved me shipping charges. The item did NOT arrive on the 17th. I received an e-mail that day saying the order was delayed and would be ready soon. I heard nothing further for 2 days. On 10/19, I contacted my local store. They were unable to help resolve the matter. The pick-up department was not open. They gave me the phone number for walmart.com customer service. I tried calling but they too were already closed. I called again on 10/20, after looking at the tracking notes on my package. The notes indicated that the shipment had not arrived, but also that the item was damaged. I was confused. Which was it?
I understand Wal-Mart does not control package handling but they could have communicated important information to me in a more timely fashion so the item could have been secured through another source prior to my daughter’s B-day.
About a week later, I decided to purchase the same item again on Walmart.com. This time Walmart.com indicated that there were two copies of the item IN-STOCK at the local store and that my order would be ready for pick-up that SAME DAY after 4 pm. I happened to be at that store for something else just before 4. Though I had not yet been notified that my order was ready, I decided to ask a “pick-up” department employee if the order could be filled since it was almost my “scheduled” pick-up time, as I really didn’t want to make another trip back to the store. The store employee was kind, but said she had no way to fill my order ahead of other orders; their system required her to only view one order at a time and the order that these appeared was system generated. As I walked through the store, I came across the TWO COPIES of the item I had ordered, right there in the store!!
I asked a cashier in that department if I could purchase the CD at the register and somehow be refunded for the walmart.com order which was in process, but had not yet been filled. He too was nice. He apologized that he was unable to help and said he didn’t have any knowledge of whether that could be done. He suggested I speak with the pick-up department or go to the service desk. I decided es not to stand in another’s line as this just would have involved more time, and the whole purpose of attempting to purchase the item during my visit was to save time. Shortly after leaving, I received an automated e-mail that my order was delayed because they had “run out” of my item. REALLY??!! Both copies of that item that I saw with my own eyes sold within minutes of my being there???
I then received an e-mail that my order would be filled the following day (Saturday). Saturday came and went and my order was not filled. I received an e-mail that evening that my order was delayed and would be ready on Sunday. Guess what?? Sunday came and went and there was still no order. I was baffled!!! I placed the order on Friday for an IN-STOCK item. How could it not be ready 3 days later?! As it turned out, the item was not filled and ready until MONDAY evening. While in-store pick-up is definitely a money saver (no shipping), it’s proven to be frustrating and highly disappointing. I would not recommend it for anything orders you need to have filled on a deadline. I hope this information is helpful.

SO I have to call Dr. get it worked out then come back. This is after having to stand in a long line because they never have enough employees to fill and then check you out.
Observations about the rest of the store: Where to start, their staff is worthless to ask for help, they tell me they don't sell something rather than tell me where it is, I then find it. Even their managers. They are regularly out of the same things week after week after week after week, etc. You get the picture. Something as simple as distilled water, I have to buy extra when they do have it because it may be weeks before they have it again. Other things they're out of I'll ask when it will be in again and they tell me it's been discontinued. Then at some point later I find it again. I can usually count on only finding 3/4's of my grocery list each time I shop because they are regularly out of many of the things I buy weekly. It's quite frustrating.
There are ALWAYS people in all the aisles that are in the way of the shelves as they are stocking. Often they are standing there chatting with each other instead of doing their job which just makes it take longer and it's hard to navigate through the aisles because they are always in the way. Their carts are the worse. I usually have to pull several out before I finally find one that will roll right, it's because they have those motorized cart movers and the boys go out and get way too many carts and end up having to push them sideways to get them in the cart area. That messes up the wheels. Instead of fixing them they just keep putting them back in the row of carts.
They need to have a dress code. Not just tell them khaki pants and navy blue Walmart shirt. They should not allow them to wear skin tight pants. It's just not professional. Trying to find anyone to help you is about impossible as they've cut hours so much that they are expecting far less people to do the work of many more people. SO they are spread so thin it's hard to find anyone.

My wife seen a bookshelf she liked at Walmart.com so she placed an order for one. The price was 191.00 made with real wood, but they had one that was priced 161.00 which was made from sawdust. When the item arrived we opened it and we had received the one made from sawdust, but were charged for the real wood. My wife made some calls and they instructed her to bring it to our local Walmart along with all shipping papers and manual. I'm her husband so it was my job to gather all the hardware with the bookshelf and bring it to the store. When I arrived I brought it to the service desk and explained that my wife had got the approval to bring it into the local Walmart.
After the clerk spent some time on the phone talking to someone, she gave me the phone and I explained to the person that my wife had made arrangements to bring it into the local store and they would give us a refund. After an hour and fifteen minutes I was told that I could not receive a refund, that it was a third party purchase and that I would have to deal straight with the manufacturer. I took my bookcase back outside and put it in my truck and left. We were told that we would need to take pictures of the shipping papers and also of the bookshelf and email the pictures to another Walmart website. Please be very careful about online shopping. This experience taught me a valuable lesson.

Many times I ask for direction and the answer is “ the item is in this direction. Almost always their answer is I am the only working in this department and I don’t have time. Once you get to the check stand, they work in slow mode like a slouch. Come on, close the store and do us a favor.

So I called customer service. Talk to one girl who's computer froze and was transferred to another person, they want 6 digit number. I didn't have it and told them that so they ask for it two more times until I told them never mind and hung up. What part about not having 6 digit number did they not understand. They never gave me one because the computer froze... Next time I will order from Wish.

I ordered 4 tires at Walmart.com to be delivered to my local Walmart. I ordered the right size 275 65R18 Hankook Dynapro tires. I paid and then I waited. I got an email saying the tire were ready for pickup. I went to Walmart on Friday. Dropped my car off at the tire shop for installation. I get a call 5 minutes later saying that they couldn't do it because the tire guy called in sick. I came back to Walmart on Saturday. Again dropped off the car for tire installation. I get a call about an hour later saying the tire size was wrong.
Well now I ordered the right size. Oh and not to mention that only 2 of my tires even came in not the 4 I ordered. So I go back and yes they have some 16 inch tires there not the 18" tires I ordered. So I call Walmart online support thinking they made a mistake on the shipment. Well they give the biggest runaround. First they try to tell me I ordered the wrong tires and then I let them know I ordered from my mobile device and have screenshots of the order and order confirmation and the confirmation email showing the correct size was ordered and paid for. All the while my wife and 3 kids are driving a GMC Yukon around with bad tires. I didn't order new tires for my health. I ordered them for the safety of my family.
Well after about 4-6 calls later they are still trying to give me the runaround. Saying they had a system glitch and that they have to issue me a refund then I can wait for the money and then reorder the correct size tires and then wait another 2 weeks for right tires. I'm sorry. What??? I already ordered the correct size tires. Why do I need a refund only to order the same ** tires again??? Walmart is 45 minute drive from my home I've made 4 trips already. The courthouse is only a 5 minute walk. I mean get real guys. This is aggravating. I simply asked that they reship the correct size tire that I ordered and they keep telling me they cannot do that. Why??? Can I get some answer that results in them simply sending the tires I ordered.

I was given a baby shower gift that was ordered through Walmart.com. The gift did not come with a packing slip, gift receipt, or order number unfortunately. I went to the local Walmart store to ask for store credit and was told that as it is worth over $20 ($64.99 to be exact) they cannot offer store credit without verifying the order number. They asked me to provide the telephone number and address of the person who gave the gift which I did and then reported they couldn't verify the information. They told me to call the person and get the order information. I explained I would prefer not to tell the person I'm trying to return the gift due to already having the item.
I was then advised to call Walmart.com. I call Walmart.com and speak to 4 different people before being hung up on. All four people stated I need the order information and they couldn't verify the person's information--however they never inquired about what product it was. It is a gift why in the world would I need to verify someone else's account information for store credit? This is a terrible policy and backs customers into a corner. Now I'm stuck with this gift item when I could use other items. Additionally, the 4 people I spoke to had a real difficult time with the English language and their sentences weren't even making sense. I am disgusted with Walmart and will likely stop shopping there completely. I will also make it my mission to get others to stop supporting too as this company is clearly not for the customers.

Two tales of why I will never order from Walmart Online again; Round #1 with Walmart online-Last year I went online to pick up a 65" 4k Samsung TV that was down from $1200, to $850. I found the TV on walmart.com, purchased it and was selected same day pickup from a walmart that was on my way home from work, I purchased it around 9 am and was there around 5 pm for pickup. When I arrived at the store and went back to the online pickup center, nobody there had heard of my order, I contacted my bank to ensure that the order had processed, and it had, and to my delight it processed twice, effectively charging me double.
I was able to get those double charges canceled, but the money wouldn't be refunded for a few days (which was fine). I saw they had the TV in stock on the floor so I decided to purchase one there, well my debt card was declined due to my bank seeing it as fraud, seeing how the same item was about to be charged three times in one day (not necessarily walmarts fault, but it wouldn't have been declined if I already wasn't double charged). I had to use a credit card to purchase the TV, eventually I got my money back and all was well, but not a pleasurable experience.
Round #2 with Walmart online - I pre-ordered an Arcade 1up Street Fighter 2 cabinet back on July 28th, with an expected ship date of Sept. 24th, was charged for the item accordingly and waited patiently. Was sent an email from walmart towards the end of September about the item being delayed until Oct. 16th (ship date the 18th), not a big deal I can wait a few more weeks, even though I see some walmart stores have the item in stock. Oct. 11th I receive an email from walmart stating that there is an issue with my purchase method, I check my bank and the money I paid in July was refunded, I didn't ask for a cancellation so I'm not quite sure what had happened.
I went on my walmart account and attempted to update my payment method, but it wouldn't take my debit card, something about being "invalid payment method" so once again I pull out my credit card and it gets charged. Flash forward a few days to Oct. 17th, I get another email from walmart that the item has been delayed again until Dec. 24th, after seeing that I canceled my online order, and was luckily refunded almost immediately on my credit card. I went to check stock of the cabinet online and the walmart 5 min. from my house had them in stock, I hopped in my car and headed to the store.
Lo and behold they have 7 of them in store, sitting on the shelf. I was able to pick one up then the day before it was suppose to ship to me, which was great, but it makes me question that why if you have them in stock, on display, would the people who pre-ordered months ago get shafted and have to wait a few more months? I gave two stars because while my two online exp. we're a hassle, the products themselves work great. But rest assured, I am done ordering products from them online.

On Friday I shopped for 2 baby car seats at walmart.com. They were to be a gift, and I needed them that same day. Walmart.com showed a store a few miles away that had the seats available for same-day pickup, so I bought them online. I then received an email saying my order was "being prepared" and I should wait to pick it up until I received an email saying it was ready. Late Friday evening I received an email saying there was a delay; no more details than that.
Early Saturday morning I received an email saying the order would be ready Friday evening (obviously wrong). No details about what was going on. So Saturday I called the store where I was to pick them up, wanting to find out what had happened. I was told they were on order & they had no idea when the seats would be available. But they added that they had similar seats in the store, if I wanted to come in & buy them, then cancel the Walmart.com order. (They wouldn't be able to cancel the online order and credit the online payment back to my card in-store.). I went to the store immediately bought the seats they had, and headed home. On the way home I pulled over to cancel the walmart.com order, only to be told it could not be canceled; I would have to wait for the order to arrive at the store, then go in and "return" it & receive my refund.
Finally Tuesday an email arrived informing me that my order had arrived at the store. I immediately went in to the Pickup desk, the clerk there scooted the car seats 50 feet to the Customer service desk, and after about 10 minutes at Customer Service I was able to walk out with my walmart.com "return" completed and the amount credited back to my card. (At least I hope this is the end of the story.). Three problems here, Walmart: 1) The merchandise wasn't really in the store, ready for same-day pickup as promised; 2) you sent loads of emails about the status of the online order, but they were never very transparent about the true status of the order, and some were downright inaccurate; and 3) in-store personnel were not able to cancel the online order when I purchased substitute merchandise in-store. What a hassle! Don't expect me to try walmart.com again.

Received my item DESTROYED, inside the box. It was obviously broken BEFORE being delivered. First, my order was separated into 4 shipments, so the delivery date I was promised when I completed my purchase was quite off. My first (and only so far) delivery arrived at 1pm on a weekday, with no notice. I work during the day so I wasn’t able to receive it. Also, all the e-mails confirming my order was being shipped were completely off with dates. For example, I will receive an email on the 11th saying my estimated delivery date was on the 9th, which makes no sense and made it very hard for me to assess when I would actually get my order.
Then, when I called to complain about the broken lamp, the agent could NOT find my order because I only had a tracking number. She searched my name, my e-mail and nothing. It took more than 15 minutes for her to find my order. She was very nice, but I was extremely frustrated. I usually buy from Amazon and their service is FLAWLESS.
So again, I was told I would get a full refund for the lamp if I emailed heretohelp.ca@walmart.ca. I did, got a response saying they couldn't process my request because my e-mail was not associated with my actual order (BS, my order, delivery confirmation, etc, all from and to the same email address I used to write refund request). There is a link for me to change my e-mail and when I click, it says UNKNOWN ERROR. I'm pissed, not only because I threw $30 to the garbage, but also because customer service SUCKS beyond measure.

There were no previous damage or cracks or etc. to the table either and it was very well taken care of.
This should never happen and is a huge danger to anyone who has this table. What if 1 of my children had been sitting at the table! I ended up calling the store and told them how long I’d been waiting, so they paged someone twice over the intercom, still no one came.
Again, another person said “I’ll page someone”, still no one came. This has been a continuous problem and why I pretty much never buy fabric from them anymore but these were fabrics I needed and I was forced to leave the store without them and I threw away over an entire hour of my night after a really long day at work. It is sad that you have more rude and neglectful employees than kind and helpful ones and it’s even more sad that you allow them to get away with treating customers like they’re less important than others. I truly understand that work gets busy and hectic but making a customer wait that long is absolute nonsense. Also, forget talking to the manager. Long story short, they insisted it was delivered, even though it was not and they had no evidence that it was delivered to my mother — because it was not. They refused to send another card or give me a refund. FedEx could not help me because Walmart shipped it and the request would have to come from them. I had no choice but to dispute the charge on my credit card. My mother wrote them a letter complaining about their poor customer service and saying she would not shop at their local stores anymore. I sent an email with the same complaint. That was the 2nd week in August.
Today, Oct 5, my mother received a letter from Walmart stating they failed to charge her credit card for a $100 purchase they claim she made on Aug 13, about the time I disputed the charge on my credit card. My mother has not been to a Walmart Store since before Aug 9, the day she should have received her gift card. She is appalled as I am. I suggested she call the 800 # on her letter but she is so upset she is going to the local store to talk to the “no-customer service” people. I want this letter to serve as a warning to others to avoid doing business with this company. Unless you just like a hassle.
