I do not have any complaints to make toward staff. I have only shopped there two times: once in Eureka, CA & Emeryville, CA. I am very pleased with their bras, but it is the panties they offer. I do not know if it is because of the material they use for their lace, but it becomes shredded w/in a month. Mind you, I am very wise about what detergent I use, the low temperature of the water & how I wash them. I am frustrated because they are a pricey item for my budget. They have been gifts, but I know other brands do not shred after a few wearings. Please research if other customers are experiencing this & if there can be a change in fabric they use!

I want to thank the girls at the Victoria's Secret Store in the Richmond Centre, Vancouver B.C. They went above and beyond to help me with my 250$ voucher that was purchased online from friends for an engagement present. The money was in US dollars so the store manager had to find out if it was possible to use. Once she could confirm that I could, a lovely girl called Natalie spent a very long time with me picking out things I liked and submitting my order online for me. She had a lot of patience and had to put up with my indecisiveness. After all of that, Natalie had to ring the US to put my order through which took a lot of time too. Again, thank you to all the girls at the Richmond Store, it was a very pleasurable experience. I did notice online the offer, if you spent 250$ you can get 50$ off the purchase which was not offered to me?

I'm not a big beach person, but within the past couple of years I purchased a few swimsuits from Victoria's Secret. The one that makes me angry is the one that I've worn <10 times and the metal clasp on the back broke (cannot be fixed). I payed about $100 -120 for the swimsuit, but to only use it for 10 days, I would have rather bought Walmart swimsuit. I contacted the website representative, as I at least wanted another clasp because I couldn't believe how poor the quality was. Their response was, "It's been over 90 days, there is nothing we can do about it." Well, I can do something about it, which is stop shopping at Victoria's Secret. Join companies that actually care about the quality of their products and customer service.

I was at Victoria's Secret today with my friend since she had to return some clothes that did not fit her. At check out, they demanded to see a license but she did not have hers so I had to give mine. I was very anxious to see why they needed a license to return items. They said that that is how they track how much I return. I then asked if my information will ever go away in their system and they said no. I do not like this new return policy since Victoria's Secret and Pink have my license information since my friend had to return clothes to both stores.

So I live 45 minutes from a pink store and my 13 year old stepdaughter wanted pink stuff for track. I wanted to get a cute top, some leggings and a water bottle for her. I go on the app and I'm looking at their tops. I click on one I think is cute but the top is no longer available in the cute mint color. They have the top in a grey color but the grey has different logos to it. The leggings are good to go but the water bottle is on back order till 4/4 and we are in February. I'm not just going to get the leggings and hope they get more stuff later. I'll have to take the trip this weekend and hope they have the stuff I want in stock at the store.

I bought a VS undie sometime back. Like always I washed it in the washing machine. Not only did it bleed but also spoiled the clothes I washed it with. On calling the store, the attendant was disappointingly evasive. "Get the undie and then we will decide. I can't promise you anything!" What about the damage!

I am a frequent shopper & an angel card holder. Lately, I have been noticing that when I log onto the Victoria Secret website or view their catalogs there are no women that look like me - a woman of color. Do you just want us to buy your products but not work as a model so that we can see what your clothing looks like on skin of color? Or do I not see a variety of skin shades because what you sell is only intended for Caucasians? Please let me know what is going on and if my business is not wanted. Why would you not cater to all shades of women? That's bad business.

My teenage daughters LOVE Victoria's Secret and PINK, and they shop there nearly every weekend. My girls went to VS in Arundel Mills Mall tonight because my 16 year old planned to buy something for my eldest daughter's 18th b-day in 2 days, on Jan 29th. My oldest was trying bras on and what didn't fit, she had my other daughter put back so she can get a different size, the bras are cut very small. The store manager, Karen, told my daughter she needs to give her the bras back so she can count them, applying that my daughter was stealing. She told my daughter, "You're not going to buy anything anyway!" My girls spend so much money in VS too! My girls are Honor Roll students and do not steal, so this is very insulting for them! It's also humiliating because the store manager went and got a security guard to have my daughters leave the store! I'm so disgusted by Victoria's Secret!

I ordered PJs as a gift that were the incorrect size. My friend tried to do an even exchange for the correct size at the store and they would not do it even though they had the correct size. It is a full month since the PJs were returned and still no exchange from VS. Called today and after an hour on the phone was told they would be sending a gift card. This could have been handled simply and fairly in the store by just exchanging one size for the next. VS only answer is, "this is our policy." Bad policy, poor customer service. Lots of other places to shop for PJs.

On 11/15/14 I purchased 2 bras totaling $52.75. On 11/17/14 I returned both of them and purchased 2 more for a total of $44.31. Everything was done on my Angel credit card. I thought the transaction went smoothly until I looked at my on-line statement. Instead of my statement reflecting a purchase and a return they showed it as two purchases. I contacted the credit card company via e-mail about the problem and it took them about a week to get back to me that I would have to go through VS directly. So I did. On 11/24/14 I spoke with April. She said she would start charge dispute process and that someone would be getting back to me in a couple of days. She informed me that the statement on her end was showing other form of payment in the amount of $99. I used my credit card, no other form of payment.

On 11/24/14 I contacted the store manager at the Eau Claire, WI store (Brittney) and she also looked at the transaction. She agreed that the transaction was done incorrectly by the cashier. She also said she would get back to me in a couple days to make sure all was resolved. Never heard from either one of them again. In Dec. 2014 I posted a comment on a Facebook VS page about the ordeal. They jumped all over that and contacted me via Facebook. I gave them all the information about the transactions, etc. and have yet to hear back from them. Through all of this I am paying interest on the credit card, making only partial payments and having all of this affect my credit. So far I paid a partial payment of $25 the first month.

This last payment I made was the balance of what I feel I owed which was $19 and change. It amazes me that a company who can spend millions of dollars on a televised Christmas bra show but can't seem to find anyone to fix this problem. No one has gotten back to me. I received a lovely 20% coupon for a future purchase. Yeah, like I'll be using that any time. I simply want this resolved. They don't seem too concerned that they lost a loyal customer. I may not have spent lots of money at their stores but I would have been a loyal one and someone who would have spread the word to others. Not any more.

I placed $400 worth of products on the victoria’s secret website. When I tried to checkout and complete the purchase the website put me in a bizarre greyed out screen that would not let me check out or review what I had ordered. I tried for 10 mins trying to keep from losing my order as I was not sure what was happening in the background. So I gave up and turned off my iPad and went to bed frustrated with the whole experience.

The next morning there was an email in my inbox to continue the order so I switched to my laptop and removed $300 of the $400 order as I no longer trusted the website. So I change the order to $120 and then try to find a matching piece to something I ordered. It doesn't show the matching piece on the website, so I had to contact someone on chat. They said I had now to call that and they gave me the item number. So as I try checking out and entered my GF's address in the foothills in CO, close to Colorado Springs. The website wouldn't accept yet she receives UPS and FED-EX packages all the time, so I enter her PO Box and select 2 day shipping and it takes the order.

I then call up and tell customer support I needed to order the extra item and that I wanted 2-day shipping, she puts the order in. I also told her the PO box address. So I think 4 of the 5 items that are in stock will be delivered in 2 days, so a day to box and get it out the door. Well the email I got following said that the 4 items in stock will get here in 2 weeks and the back order will take a month. So I told the customer sales rep that the extra item was a PO box. She does not say anything and I come to find out it will ship in 2 weeks and not in 2 days.

So I call customer support the next day and they tell me they can't ship an item in stock in the 2-3 day delivery window because it’s a PO box and I said, “Well when I placed the order the site did not notify me of that.” I also said the website was outdated and couldn't accept the address that UPS and FED-EX could accept and all she kept saying was sorry. I asked if the order could be stopped and I just pick the merchandise at the store and she said NO - too late as it has been shipped. I said, “Please don't alter the order as the whole Victoria’s Secret distribution system could come down to a screeching halt.” Yeah I was mad..

So to summarize, I spent 30 mins shopping on my iPad only to find the website malfunctions on new/old technology. The website can only handle certain addresses where UPS and FED-EX can. You can ship to a PO Box but the website does not tell you that the delivery time is 2-4 weeks out because you select a PO Box. You really have to work at finding matching lingerie by calling, chatting to get an item number and then you have to leave the web shopping experience to get on the phone. Then on top of all the "hidden" information on delivery dates and the true length of back order dates, you must call several times to find out from a service rep what is really happening.

Worst e-commerce site experience ever. Just go to the stores is my next option though I am not looking forward to that if the web experience is the same. Oh last odd tidbit of information. They send out a survey on the experience but the survey only restricts you to mark one item as to the problem where mine was 3-4 areas that are broke and disconnected. Serious outdated customer feedback systems, customer support, web experience... sigh.

I received a pair of VS PINK Campus Pants and within the first three hours, they ripped while I was playing with my little min pin. I'm appalled that their clothing is of such poor quality that this could happen. I shop in various stores purchasing clothing items at various price ranges and this is a first. I contacted the company in hopes of exchanging the pants and the best they were willing to do was to send me a coupon to purchase something else. I may be a little harsh in my opinion but I would not suggest purchasing VS Pink Campus Pants if you are in any way an active person. They are not durable at all.

After a positive interaction with Victoria's Secret, Joanne increased their star rating on Jan. 24, 2015.

    Updated review: Jan. 24, 2015

After I filed a complained with the BBB, a Victoria's Secret representative called me. The rep told me to mail my gift back to the HQ address and they would mail me a gift card for the amount of the return. The rep said this was being done as a one-time exception to their return policy. I did so, and I received the gift card on January 22.

I am updating the stars to 2 (from 1), because my complaint was quickly and courteously handled by Victoria Secret's HQ. The rating isn't higher because I had to go through more trouble to make the return and I had to wait for the gift card. Plus, I still disagree with the return policy that requires a driver's license to be scanned when you have a receipt for the returned item.

    Original Review: Dec. 29, 2014

I received a gift from Victoria's Secret. The giver also gave me the gift receipt for the item. I took the item and its gift receipt to a Victoria's Secret store to return the item. I wasn't trying to get cash in return, only a gift card so I could purchase something more suitable. I couldn't return the item without allowing the sales clerk to SCAN my driver's license. I refused to allow my driver's license to be scanned, as this is personal information that I don't wish to share. Privacy professionals advise that driver's license information is one of the top items that absolutely should NOT be shared. It is an invasion of privacy to ask for a driver's license in this innocuous circumstance of returning a gift. There is also the risk that my personal information could be abused or hacked. I think this return policy is extremely inappropriate and potentially dangerous to customers. I also complained to the customer relations department at Victoria's Secret and wrote a complaint on their website. I also filed a complaint with the BBB about this return practice. I just made all these complaints, so I haven't been able to return the gift yet.

I am beyond dissatisfied with my Victorias Secret interactions as of late. Firstly, I ordered a Kiss of Cashmere Double V-neck Tunic Sweater on December 7th and received a confirmation email shortly thereafter. I did not get a tracking email for about a week, however, I had received an email ASSURING me I would get my package before CHRISTMAS. When I finally got the tracking email there were no updates, it only said shipped from Ohio which I know is where your headquarters are. I waited and got another email saying there was a delay but not to worry I would get my package on time.

Finally, I then got an email saying my money was refunded. Christmas is in fact ruined for myself as I really wanted this item, I hope you guys are extremely satisfied. I have spent thousands of dollars at Victorias Secret and I will never purchase anything again. I can't help but feel totally discriminated against. I doubt anything like this has ever happened to a woman with your Angels credit card. Not only am I not getting my sweater, you guys also held my money hostage for about a month and I therefore am not able to put in another order for anything else (definitely not from your soon to be bankrupt store) and have it get here on time for Christmas.

I believe you guys had NOT sent out my package and were trying to fill it but there were no more sweaters in my size and color. Yet instead of refunding my money immediately, you held on to it. What kind of unethical treatment is that? I have never heard of such a thing. When I called to figure out what was happening since I had not received my sweater, your customer service center had the audacity to blame shipping problems. I did my Christmas shopping across many internet sites including: Tillys.com, Heels.com, Backcountry.com, Urbandecay.com, Tarte.com, Sephora.com, Ebay.com, Amazon.com, Butterlondon.com, Express.com, Aldo.com, Toofaced.com, Macys.com, and Clinique.com. Every single package, including multiple orders from some sites, has arrived except yours. You should contact those sites and learn how to treat customers. I know they had a busy Christmas as well and they still managed to get my gifts here on time.

To add insult to injury I just received a package devoid of my sweater with a Secret reward card that expired on December 19th, today is December 23rd. How dare you treat customers like this. What makes you think that is ok? I look forward to acquiring your New clothing on Ebay at less than half price. I know I will be getting my moneys worth. Merry Christmas to me. Remove my address from any mailing lists and do not contact me again.

I received the box today and the 41.00 bra is missing. I know they have the "models" and will never not do well in business, but to the general public this is not acceptable. Sadly, this has been the worst experience I have had in a Victoria's Secret store! I love shopping in Victoria's Secret in PA and NY but I made the mistake of stopping in this mall on the way home. First, let me let you know that I spend thousands yearly for myself and my two teenage daughters. My daughter, who I just picked up at college, asked me to buy her a few things so I stopped at the Rockaway NJ Mall Store. When we entered the store, I went to the VS side and my two daughters went to the Pink side of the store. My older daughter who looks Hispanic was followed around until she finally changed her mind about getting anything there and came to look for me on the VS of the store, where the same salesperson followed her and finally asked her if she needed help. I was listening from where I was standing and I heard her say, "No thank you." I continued to look for my item that I wanted to purchase and at no point did this person ask me if I needed help.

My daughter was over by the "wings" and was going to take a picture when the same salesperson approached her again and in a very nasty tone told her not to take pictures of the wings. My daughter said she wasn't aware that she couldn't do that and apologized. The same salesperson floated around until I finally was aggravated and left the store. I returned without my daughter fifteen minutes later to ask her why she was so rude to my daughter and why was she profiling her. She immediate took a defensive stance with me and told me, "I am sorry that you feel that way." I told her that she was unprofessional and not courteous at all. I also asked her for her name so that I could complain to the manager. After all, I am a consumer and my dissatisfaction equals loss of business for them.

She immediately told me that she isn't required to provide her name to me. I waited for ten minutes at the front of the store to speak to the manager who was helping someone else. A few minutes later, another manager came up and asked if I needed help and I said that I had a complaint and explained what had happened. She had the same attitude and told me that she is surprised that I would complain about that person (as if I was lying) and that she would speak with her. I asked her if there was another manager and she asked me why, and I was honest and told her that I didn't feel she would handle my complaint and that I was now offending her. I was mortified at this point and saw her name tag was Alexi and told her I would report them to the headquarters and never shop there again. She said, "Okay whatever." So as you can see, this was truly a disappointment and I am thinking about never shopping in that franchise again. If you have a problem with races, then you shouldn't work with the public or in customer service.

I ordered some things off the website on December 11th, and I have logged into my account every day since then to check the order status. Yesterday (the 12th) I checked it and it said that it had already went through and got all of my items ready to ship, it said everything was in stock and ready to go. I check it today to see if they shipped it today, only to log in and see it say "There are no orders associated with your VictoriasSecret.com account at this time."

Okay, well I go look in my email and I have no emails from them besides the order confirmation which states my order number and everything. So I log out of my Victoria's Secret account because if you're logged in when you click order status at the bottom, it just takes you back into your account screen. Then when I try to look at it that way, it still says that order number does not exist.

They took the money off my debit card yesterday, which usually places when you purchase things online. Take the money off after they ship. And there's no refund or anything so I have no clue what's going on. I've emailed customer support and if I don't get a response today, I'm calling them tomorrow morning. And how are you suppose to buy anything and really be happy - it's nobody there that looks like you. Even their advertisements are all white. I will start by saying that I have never had any customer service issues of any kind when dealing with Victoria's Secret. I buy all my bras there and have been doing so for years. My favorite bra is the Very Sexy Pushup Bra, which I own 7 of (I'm a broke college student, so this is A LOT). I've had some of these for as long as 5 years (broke college student - see above) and have never had any problems. Until today. I settled in for a Sunday afternoon nap and when I awoke, my roommate asked me what I had spilled all over my shirt (a heather grey sweatshirt). I had no idea what she was talking about, but when I investigated, I discovered an odorless, oily substance all down my ribs and on the inside of my sleeve. Confused, I went to my room and removed shirt after shirt, noticing the same oil on each layer. I finally discovered the root of the problem: the gel curve pushup parts of both cups had popped. There was oil EVERYWHERE (on my shirts and skin at least).

Although I was appalled, the bra was 3 or 4 years old, so it wasn't completely crazy, although I'd never heard of a pushup bra popping. At this point I decided to do an online chat with a VS representative to make sure the oil wasn't toxic (FYI it isn't it's just mineral oil) and to figure out the best way to get it out of my clothes. I decided it would also be a good idea to find out how long I should expect these bras to actually last (I would hate to have an oily mess on my shirt in public). Okay, this is the crazy part. The representative told me THREE MONTHS. I could not believe what I was being told. Then she retook her statement and said I should actually expect the bras to last somewhere between 8 and 12 months. I'm thinking, why would I spend approximately $60 on a bra that is going to pop after 8 months?!

Albeit, this is the first one I have had pop and it took three years. I have older ones that I've had no problems with. Needless to say, I am now concerned about the safety of my clothing. This is the only problem I've ever had with any product from Victoria's Secret, but it seems like there should be some sort of warning for consumers, particularly if VS employees are suggesting that the bras will only last 8 months before they start popping oil all over the place. Also, just for details sake, the bra that popped was worn, on average, a few times a month for the last 3-4 years (purple doesn't match most of my outfits).

I've been ordering from Victoria's Secret for a couple years now. I usually buy in store but decided to do my Black Friday shopping online. I ordered over $233 worth of merchandise. They sent out a shipment confirmation email, I tracked it until it said delivered, which was yesterday. Nothing in the mailbox, no package, key or anything. I chose to wait a day to see if it was a mistake and checked the mail again today. Nothing. I called the local post office and all the man said was "I have new drivers on that route and they can't seem to get anything correct. I will look for it and call you back." No call back. I called the 800 number to file a claim with USPS then called VS.

The customer service at Victoria's Secret is incredible. They apologized right away and offered to send me another package, which was GREAT except that everything I ordered sold out, besides one hoodie. I chose not to have a new package sent and a refund instead. They are very professional and their customer service is what I would expect out of VS. I do not blame VS at all, I blame USPS. This is the second package that has been "delivered" that was missing in 2 weeks. USPS is a joke and a scam. My only complaint about VS is that they use USPS for shipment. UPS and Fedex never lose packages.

I have ordered from VS for years and all of a sudden I placed two orders and they told me my address is flagged from a disputed payment 3 years ago. This is the very first time I ever heard of this. They said it was a Discover credit card when I order with my VS credit card every time. They are holding all the Christmas gifts I ordered and will not ship even after several phone calls. They want me to pay $175.00 for something that has NOTHING to do with me. They have taken my money. No problem the last 3 years and now all of a sudden there is an issue from 3 years ago. Terrible customer service.

I placed my "Early Access for Angels" Order Wednesday night. The deal is, spend $75 and get a free tote bag. I forgot to add the offer code, so I placed the order again with the offer code. I then placed a second (already planned) order. I asked customer service to cancel my first order, gave her the order number. After she demonstrated to me she clearly didn't know what she was doing, I asked her not to do anything, leave it as it was, I will return it. I log in to check the status of my orders and she canceled an order. THE WRONG ORDER. I tried to place the order AGAIN and they are sold out of Totes. When I called customer service all she could offer me was free shipping (which I was already going to get) and 20% off of my order over $125. Which mine was not. AND that offer was offered to everyone. So, after doing absolutely nothing for me. In retribution, I will make them pay. HORRIBLE customer service.

I have been ordering from Victoria secrets for years and I have been waiting for this comforter since Sept. They kept claiming it was on back order and due to the incompetence of an employee canceling order they said I was put to the back of the list. I am so disappointed in the recent customer service agents I spoke to. I order from them at least twice a month and I have never been treated this way in years. I do believe this is going to be my last order from them. I would cancel this order but my daughter will be devastated. I was promised the comforter on the 19 and still haven't received and a supervisor named Dana was very rude to me today on the phone, made me feel as if I'm not a valued customer. The representative before her, Katrina was worse. Her customer service skills were just awful.

The gentleman, Dante, I spoke to a month ago was so nice, polite and helpful. The supervisor, Dana, told me he lied to me. The other part of this order, I had an issue with my credit card being hacked so I called with new number. It is in the system and have placed 3 orders since then. Dana claimed it was my fault and I told the girl to apply it to the back orders as well. So when they processed the order back in October 4 orders later, they used wrong number so she claimed that put me at back of list when I was told I would receive product no later than Nov 19th due to their mistake.

I bought several items from the online store. Later I received a single very cheap item that I did not order instead of my purchase. I contacted Victoria's customer service, and after 50 emails, I was in the position that will refund me part of the amount that I paid (In pieces, several refunds, to annoy me probably). And some items that I purchased while discounted, they refused to let me buy them with the discounted price. They claimed that I should use it with full price, then after negotiations and maybe 6 or 7 emails, they will refund me the difference, when I asked why all these refunds which will cause me stress, they claimed that this is their system.

At the end, when I requested to cancel everything and refund the full amount, as some of the items that they will ship, will be in different colors (Unavailable now they said), they refused saying that the order cannot be canceled and will send me what they choose and refund me the amount in small pieces (Take it or leave it scenario). It was the worst experience with an online store, especially that one might think these guys are professional and trustworthy with your credit card information.

Lately I have been spending a lot of time and money at Victoria's Secret, but after a couple experiences I don't think I will be anymore. Firstly, you walk into their stores and most employees will just roll their eyes at you or act like they're too good for you. I work in retail myself and we do anything and everything for our customers and treat them with the utmost respect. You don't get that here. A couple weeks ago I went in during my hour long lunch break and was shopping for a bra as I had a coupon that expired that day. I picked out the one I was going to get and made my way to the line which was unbelievably long, so I asked an employee to leave it on hold for me as I had to get back to work and she said she could check me out there so I wouldn't have to wait in line.

She then proceeded to look for the checkout scanner and wandered around trying to find it while completely forgetting I was in a rush, so I said I had to leave and that I would be back after work and if they could please put in on hold for me as it was the last in that size and they said yes. So I come back after work and it is nowhere to be seen. They pretend to look for it all over the place and tell me it's gone and that I must not have actually left it on hold, but they tell me they could order it at the register and have it shipped to me. I go to the register to order it as I wanted to use the coupon, and tell the cashier what happened and she does not seem to care one bit and does not apologize for what happened and acts like I'm a burden for having her order it for me. Again, they do not care for the happiness of their customers one bit.

Another instance of poor customer service is recently, I place an order for a pair of knee socks on their website and it arrives a week later and it's the wrong color. I contacted customer service and they tell me to send the incorrect pair back and they will send me the correct pair. I wait a few days and receive the new order and they sent me the same wrong pair of socks. I call them this time and the woman I spoke to does not seem to be the least apologetic and tell me I will get another pair in a few days and tells me I need to return the other two pairs. It's their mistake for sending me the same wrong pair TWICE, and now they want me to drive 20 miles to the nearest store or pay $5.99 for their return shipping. I've never encountered such poor customer service and I was really growing fond of their products, but after the negative experiences, I won't be back.

I want to cancel my credit card because of poor, unacceptable, customer service. I wonder, does the owner know how his customers are being treated? You can only contact him via mail. I haven't received a reply and the letter was mailed a month ago. I am not the only customer that has experienced this. Today me, Lemon, Snuper and the baby went to the mall to waste time before my bus came. We went into a number of stores through out the mall my first time coming to this mall I immediately notice the discomfort in most of the stores I went into. We went in to Body central where I purchased a shirt and two pairs of underwear. Lemon and Snuper went on to Victoria Secrets while I completed my purchase. I entered Victoria Secret where I immediately noticed how hubbererd Lemon and Snuper were by the VS employees. I began to browse where then a girl stood very closely to me, profiling me. I picked out a pair of underwear and gave it to Lemon to purchase along with her items. She checked out. I think her total was near $200 dollars today!!

We leave VS, stop at Dairy Queen. Lemon ordered 2 Julius smoothies and we continued to Dillard's, the same store we entered to come into the mall but we wanted to look at some babies' winter boots. All of a sudden Moline police officers approached us saying there was a call reporting that we shoplifted out of VS and he needed to search our bags and see receipts! It was very Humiliating the way he counted our underwear in front of Dillard's customers and employees. Even they were shocked by what was taking place. Everything we had was paid and accounted for! They racial profiled us and followed us or either like they say someone called, I presumed to as the officer what now? After you guys just humiliate us in front of crowds of people!

We didn't feel as if just leaving after that was justice or made any kinda since even though the officers sternly egged us we were "good to go"! The officers walked off and people just stood around. An older white woman employed by Dillard's came to us with much concern asking did they just accused us of stealing. There was a younger lady, Dillard's employee as well, saying how that was totally unacceptable. Wondering what to do we decided to try and catch the officers and get names and badge numbers. So we went to Victorias and asked for the manager. We got the names of the employee who called in and their corporate #!!! She looked shocked!

I have been a customer of Victoria's Secret for many years, and had always been satisfied with their products and service, and been pleased with the quality and fit of their Body by Victoria Perfect Coverage bras. But recently, I needed to purchase some new bras, as my size had changed and my old bras were pretty worn out. I was disappointed to see that the overall design of the Perfect Fit bras had been changed (different fabric, different fit). I had a fitting, and purchased several bras based in a new size based on the advice of the sales clerk. First, the first batch of bras I purchased contained bras in which the size was actually mislabeled (the stamp on the bra band itself was incorrect). I was able to return those bras and get replacements, but after wearing one of them one time, it became clear that the bras (still) did not really fit properly. So, I went to different retailer and had another fitting. It turned out that the fitting I'd had at Victoria's Secret was incorrect in both the band and the cup size. Armed with this knowledge, I headed back to Victoria's Secret with the ill-fitting bras.

I was pleased that they did allow me to exchange them for the correct size, even the one that I had worn (which was great--my problem has not really been with the service I've received, though I was irked that my fitting at VS yielded an incorrect size), but the latest bras have what I guess I would call a general manufacturing defect: the under wires in every bra are significantly shorter than the fabric "tube' in which they are encased, and throughout a day's wear, the wires shift from the center panel around to the back edge of the cup. My solution has been to stitch across the cup fabric against the properly positioned wire, in order to block its migration backward into the "tube." I've also noticed a number of loose threads and seams, and have already had to repair straps that have broken. I just feel that for $60.00 apiece, I shouldn't have to rig the wires into position, and the bras should hold up for more than a few months. It's a shame, because I've always loved these bras, and it seems that the quality of the product is not what it once was.

I just want to add my share about my terrible experience with Victoria Secret card. I'm glad I looked up with matter on the internet and has found many people to have the same problem like me, because their customer service employee from Victoria Secret Credit Card and from Comenity Bank tried to make it seems ridiculous on my part that they never see this happen before. LIE! In fact my experience DOES happen to a lot of people, including my mom.

So I signed up for VS Angel Card for 6 months already, and made purchases with it, but I also return some of my items of the purchases. For the 6 months period, I DID NOT receive any bill or account statement whatsoever! Not even one! Just the card the offer book in the mail once, and that's all. So I was concerned and called them to ask about it. They said since I return the merchandise, it is automatically counted as a payment, that's why I do not need to worry about paying that month statement. The next month comes, still NO bill, I called, same answer.

And I also make it clear to them that MAKE SURE to send me the bill. Because I do not want the same thing that happen to my mom to happen to me, which she signed up for a VS card 2 years ago and NEVER receive the card or the bill, but she forgot that she opened once since she didn't want to at the moment but the sale associate was very pushy. And her BANK account got closed because all of the late fees build up, which she wasn't aware of because they NEVER send anything to her. (Now, after everything happened I also find it was weird even though there is no payment dues, aren't they still required to send me my account statement???)

I know it's long and complicated, but bear with me. So after getting the same answer every time I called in trying to find out why I wasn't billed, I stopped calling, because I told them to make sure to send me the bill, and they reassure me that it is in their system, blahblahblah.... A few days ago I got a call from Comenity Bank, harassing me to pay my bill because it was past due 3 months. I told the guy from Comenity my situation and that they are the one who is responsible for not sending me mail which was required by law. He was very aggressive, keep insisting that they do everything right on their part, and that he never heard of anyone having this situation, and that there is nothing I can do except for paying to balance with late fee and interest charges, because according to him, "things happen."

RIDICULOUS?! Why would I pay for all of that charges when it wasn't my fault! It's their responsibility to send the bill which is required by law. He keeps saying that it shows on the system that the statement is sent out monthly blahblahblah, "easy for you to say anything, how can I see the proof then?" Anyway, I got fed up talking to him because it wasn't going anywhere. So I look up online to see if this happens to other people, and yup, it does happen to a lot of people actually!

So I called VS directly, told them my story, again, the girl changed her tone instantly when I bring up this matter. Got all aggressive and rude, insisting she works there for 8 years and never heard of this situation. I insist saying I DIDN'T do anything wrong therefore those charges were unfair and also told her that this does happen to a lot of people from their experiences on the internet. She paused for a moment, didn't know how to reply to that, put me on hold to talk to her supervisor, and came back to tell me that all my charges has been dropped, and that my statement is going out today.

SO PLEASE, IF THIS HAPPENS TO YOU, STAND ON YOUR GROUND AND DO SHARE YOUR EXPERIENCE, THE MORE OF STORIES LIKE THIS, THE HARDER FOR THEM TO DENY THEIR UNETHICAL AND COMMITTING FRAUD BUSINESS PRACTICE! Just because they are a big company doesn't mean they can bully consumers like this! Stand up for yourself!

I have purchased lingerie and a lot of clothes including shoes and boots for a long time from V.S. Some of mine are actually vintage by now. I always order by phone from the internet or the catalog. It has almost entirely been a good experience. I have had associates on the phone mostly be extremely helpful. They have found things in my size for me I really wanted and thought were gone (instant happiness), they have given me offers that I really shouldn't have gotten due to time issues, given me future discounts for items that did not measure up (might have happened 1-2 times) and just been very helpful and pleasant.

I notice that they always seem to want to make me happy. Only one time have I gotten an associate by phone who just didn't have the enthusiastic attitude of the others. They also help me figure out the offers, although you have to research it yourself before you call. I do and have the codes ready. Some don't work with others and some do. But I really like their clothes and panties, which last longer than any I ever got at Wal-mart. Wal Mart's undies fit awful and I don't buy them anymore. I used to buy them to intermix and extend the life of my VS ones. Back in the 90's, I got some Colin Stuart summer flip flops that didn't last long and some summer sandals that had a small problem with the buckle on the strap.

Once I got a hoodie with black kinky hair in the hood and they said send it back, postage paid, they apologized and gave me a discount card. Then they sent me a new one. Its a big company and I love their merchandise, which the quality of on most items can't be beat. I have bought tons of stuff and just received a large order mostly of the Pink brand skinny sweatpants, which I love. It came with a beautiful, quality free glitter VS bag-so cute! Through the years, I have bought beautiful leather bags, boots, sweats, coats, dresses, lingerie, makeup, I just can't remember it all. I have not had any problems in store, they didn't used to be very friendly, but they have been friendlier recently, so I hope that continues. All in all, good experiences, over a lot of years and I hope it never changes.

Then that employee walked toward me, made eye contact, did NOT ask me if wanted to try my item on, or anything. She proceeded to walk past me and out of the fitting room area. I can assume it was to get another size for the other customer. There was another employee standing a few feet away that I made eye contact with, she was helping other customers, and I politely asked her if there was someone who could let me in a fitting room. She said yes, then she saw that ANOTHER employee (an older woman) was walking toward the fitting rooms, so I guess she assumed that that woman would put me in a room, instead, that 3rd employee took 2 women right past me into the fitting rooms!

Needless to say, I was shocked. I have NEVER been treated so poorly in my life! My daughter came out of the fitting room, we left without purchasing anything. If my daughter wasn't there, out of my frustration and anger, I would have had a very harsh discussion with the manager. She took the lady through the box I was and later took her to the regular priced area because she couldn't find her bra size on the sales box. She was very sweet and gave really good customer service to the ma'am.

Suddenly another woman (supervisor I think) interrupted her and asked if everything was ok with the customer. So she agreed and told her she was showing the old lady the new sports bra. The "supervisor" said: "well you need to get to the area I assigned you and will keep going with the old woman". The young girl stood there and said "I am with a client. I'll be there as soon as I finish with her." The supervisor insisted and the young girl had to go. I saw her then crying. A gentleman ahead of me grabbed one of the many girls aimlessly walking around the floor (you know - the ones who just offer you a stupid black bag to carry your purchases) why there were only 2 registers open when the line was wrapped around the store. All she could say was, "Because we only have 2 cashiers working." Even when he told her she should get the girls off the floor and behind the register she just stood there looking stupid. He put the perfume he was purchasing down and walked out.

Then the girl in front of me was trying to purchase a tee shirt (on sale) but the cashier insisted it wasn't on sale (despite the sign stating it was) so she ended up saying forget it and leaving without completing her purchase. Next up: Me. 5 panties, on sale for $26.50. My total comes to $46??? When I pointed out the sale, she said some of mine were not on sale??? Even though they all came from the same drawer, were the same size and style and were all off the sale table???? Really??? I too ended up saying forget this and leaving empty-handed.

For the outrageous prices they charge, the merchandise should be of the highest quality and the staff should bend over backwards to accommodate the customers. I was asked several times if I wanted a black bag to hold my things in. I eventually said yes to the bag to hold my things in till I checked out. I went to check out and asked the lady if we could have the black bag we're holding and she said yes, if we're holding a black bag we can take it home. When the cashier was halfway finished ringing up my order, I realized I was going over my credit limit so I said, "I'm gonna take most of this stuff off my order."

She said she wanted to ring everything up first. She rang me up slow as Moses. Then I decided to take a few pairs back to where I got them while she took her time ringing them up. When I got back to the counter, I caught the cashier talking trash on me for deciding not to get most of the panties I brought up to the counter, to another employee. She had my underwear I picked out in her hand and slammed them down on the counter behind her complaining about me! She looked at me in shock because she didn't realize I'd walk back up so soon, lol.

I put my hand on my hip and stood there with this look on my face like, "Are you kidding me?" She didn't say anything, just had an ignorant look on her face. When I got to my car, I realized she didn't give me my black bag I was holding like she said I could have. I called and asked and the lady said, "No, you're not allowed to have. The bags belong to the store." That cashier could have at least acted pleasant towards me since I caught her talking ** on me and I didn't appreciate the sales person standing there staring at me with her arms crossed watching me sort through panties as if she thought I was looking to shoplift!!!!!! And the quality IS poor. You're better off shopping at Walmart.

I am utterly frustrated. I have been a customer of yours for years and I keep on buying at your online store from every country that I've lived in. I placed an order from South Africa (where I live now) as I have in the past, and you are not using USPS anymore to deliver, but eshopworld instead. My parcel has been in South Africa since the 30th of May and I have requested in several opportunities via email to Customer Service for the name of the local distributor here in South Africa, so I can call them and find out why 11 days later, my parcel is showing "clearance events" without being shipped. Please understand that if this status is showing continuously, it means that they need to speak to the recipient and make them aware of the local taxes and duties, therefore, someone needs to phone them.

Customer Service responded that they are not allowed to give me the name of the local courier company, and that they cannot contact eshopworld either, so what option do you leave me as a customer?? It is extremely frustrating. Customer Service said that if I don't receive my parcel by tomorrow, you will issue a refund. Now I ask you: HOW DOES THIS SOLVE THE PROBLEM? It does not!!!!!! Somebody needs to contact the responsible party here in South Africa to authorize the release of my parcel, which I NEED. I would have not paid for express shipping if I did not need my parcel. Issuing a refund will only make it worse for me and as a loyal Customer, I expect some kind of post-purchase support from Victoria's Secret.

My parcel will not be delivered tomorrow, which is the shipping deadline for the reasons explained above. Please can someone with an open mind and the will to assist be able to follow up with eshopworld? I have contacted them directly, but they are not replying any of my emails either, which is also a disappointment.

In May 2014, I have ordered from Victoria's Secret items that never arrived to me. WHY? Because I filled a new delivery address and they delivered to an address I used 2 years ago! Before shipping the items to me, one of their people from support told me that the delivery will be made at the address filled by me at checkout. So they shipped the items and 2 weeks later when I came back complaining to them, they told me that the shipment was made to an address that I used 2 years ago!!! How come? They don't know. So I was asked if I want a replacement or refund; I selected replacement and I was asked to pay import charges again! This is outrageous; I would have paid VAT twice for something might or might not arrive to me! I could continue paying endlessly import charges. This is a poor website and advise everyone to not shop from here!

You pay a lot of money for items due to import charges, taxes, etc and we can never receive them! And by the way, they NEVER say that standard delivery does not give you a tracking number. They say that eShopWorld provides tracking but that page gets updated only when shipment from US is made and is never filled with information about the stage of the shipment (even if it gets delivered)!

They ask me to call, but I'm not an American, call cost me half the amount of my order and I did not know English. I am horrified by such a service! Shop big, but they do not have a Russian interpreter. In most stores it there, such as Old Navy, Gap, Asos. So it took them almost a week to tell me that I won't receive my item for another 4 months?!? During those 5 days I had bought a swimsuit specifically to go w/ the cover-up, which I later returned. So annoying :-/ On top of that, I sent 3 emails over the course of the last 3 weeks, all of which were ignored. I'm 100% sure I emailed the correct address. I copied and pasted it from their site. First, I really like the VS bra lines - they fit, they make me feel like a lady and in general are worth the price for me. BUT, my first order during the holidays was flawless. My second - a nightmare. I called VS customer service and told due to weather had some delays (tracking had followed the item to Atlanta and it had sat there for 11 days, no bad weather there to my home). Finally, after calling USPS, FedEx (seems no one was sure who the carrier was, started FedEx to USPS local for delivery) and the package could not be found, just like I saw - in Atlanta now 13 days - a VS supervisor next day sent a duplicate of my order to me. Over 2 weeks $5.99 shipping and 4 states away.

Post office didn't seem too concerned as just said sent cheapest way and it goes on a truck if there is space why it was so slow. Thanks VS again. Add insult to injury a problem with the bra; I went to return it and they could not credit or show even a store credit. Said I would have to wait for returns to get it and then I'd get a credit. This was because the one I paid for showed cancelled and the one I finally got showed $0 because it was the replacement for the one I never got, that I paid for. That's now over 3 weeks and guess what? Nothing.

Now my stupidity - hoping this was just a fluke as normally shopping my local store the ladies are great - I found one of my faves on clearance in only one color but I loved it, online only so I give it another shot. Was 50/50 right? It has taken 5 days from order to finally showing shipped. Tracking still shows 6 days - it is in the VS start point of OH. If they charge like first class postage - let's use it. I'd like to get what I order before It goes out of style. If you want their products - go to the store - their online is a sad joke.

I don't know what happened to VS. Years ago, I used to order clothes from them all the time. They were reasonably priced in the past and you got a decent quality piece of clothing, things you could wear to work or out to a party. I used to order shorts, tees, dresses, lingerie all the time. I stopped ordering from them a while back, then got a catalog unexpectedly and decided to place an order. As usual, VS seemed to have a nice collection of casual clothing and I was excited to get my shipment. Upon arrival, I was shocked to see how flimsy and thin the tops were as I removed them from the packaging. The cardigans were along the lines of a $10 store. I had never seem anything so awful in terms of quality.

A heavier knit sweater was poorly shaped and constructed. I packed all the tops back up to return to VS and wrote an email. I got a return email filled with 'corporate speak' as in, "We understand your concerns and are working on the problem." SURE, they are. I just can't believe anyone still spends their money on such awful, cheap looking garbage. The only thing I would bother with nowadays are their fragrances, which I still like.

Shopped with my wife today (March 31, 2014) at Coconut Point Shops Victoria's Secret in Estero, FL. My wife was given a "30% off next purchase" Victoria's Secret discount card before we left New York for Florida. When we entered the store my wife presented the discount card to the clerk on the floor and asked if it was valid. The sales clerk said, "Yes, it's good for 30% off of your purchase." We shopped about an hour and 1/2. My wife selected several items that totaled $207.68 at register but the store manager refused to honor the discount card. When I said it was consumer fraud to bait a customer with a discount that would not be offered and I would file a complaint, the manager called on the phone to her headquarters. When she finished she said, "We've decided not to honor the card recently because of too much fraudulent use."

The card we presented had no expiration date and an intact barcode that could be scanned for authenticity. Then the manager said if I made the purchase she would scan a new discount card for me that could be used on my next purchase! How would I know if that would be honored? I told the manager I was going to file a consumer fraud complaint and asked her name. The manager refused to even provide her first name. I asked for the store address and she refused to give me the store address or phone number. She told me if I did not leave the store she would call security. When security arrived I spoke to them outside the store. They recommended I make a formal complaint to the Coconut Point Shops offices, that they take these matters very seriously. VS is really terrible with customer service. Not only did they lose a $200+ order, they lost a customer. My wife will NEVER return to a VS store.

Here are the problems I have encountered since placing an international order with Victoria Secret:

1st order placed on Dec. 30 - the shipping confirmation said it was expected by Jan. 30 (but they offer no tracking) - a month after the order was placed? That alone is unreasonable - I paid over 50USD for shipping, didn't get a tracking number and was told it would take up to a month? Do they use carrier pigeons? What the heck? Then on day 33, I emailed to say I hadn't received the order and was told to "Wait a few more days" then... I emailed customer service 8 times - customer service claims no emails were received - even though they're clearly in my sent mail folder to the correct customer service address.

So I finally had to call customer service, then I had to spend time figuring out replacement items for parts of my order that were no longer available (about 6 things were now out of stock) - and place a new order. Got an email saying order shipped Feb. 20 - again same bologna about 1 month wait time and no tracking number, and what do you know? Once again, it NEVER arrived. That is too much of a coincidence. I don't believe them that they ever shipped it.

Called customer service March 20, was told only 2 items from my order were no longer available. I triple confirmed this with "Jackie" the rep I was speaking to, made it clear, that if more items were missing, I would need to take others out because I didn't want to end up with a box of mismatched bras and underwear- she found the bra that was missing from my order in a size that would work for me, assured everything would be shipped. Now I just received my shipping confirmation only to see that, not only was the bra not in stock anymore, but additionally, 7 items are now discontinued from my order.

I am having this order shipped to a friend in the US who is coming to visit me in Hong Kong (since I cannot trust the Victoria Secret international shipping, after 2 orders never arrived) - and now I am going to end up, after all of these problems with 3 pairs of underwear that don't have a matching bra, and one bra that is only arriving with 1 pair of matching underwear. For THREE MONTHS of trouble this order has caused me, I have been offered only a $25 gift card towards a future purchase (Which doesn't even cover shipping charges to me) and free shipping on this current order, that has now been screwed up for the 3rd time. This does not seem like fair recompense that would retain me as a customer. After this 4th error, I really feel as though I should be offered something else that should make this right.

Additionally, I do not feel like Victoria Secret should offer international shipping if they cannot properly service international shoppers. If they truly are sending out the products via a 3rd party, they should investigate a new 3rd party shipper. I order from J Crew all of the time, with only 8USD in international shipping charges, and my orders promptly arrive about a week after they are placed. This is absurd.

In 2007 I opened a VS account and kept paying anything I would buy right away. However as the years passed, I moved and my parents would sometimes receive my mail and at times go to the store to pay for me. We kept paying even though I wasn't buying anything at all or see if I did buy anything on the card, I would make the payment right away. Sometimes my mom would also buy things so whenever I would get a statement I thought okay, that must be my mom so I would pay for it, and then one day my mom made a comment about me buying something each month and I was confused and we realized neither of us was buying anything yet were getting statement after statement saying we owe them money. And she mentioned how she thought it was weird that I was always buy it from the same store in Minnetonka which is at least 20 miles away from where I live when there was a Mall 2 miles away from me.

We came to realize that ironically this company that works with VS for card protection happened to also be in the same state located in Minnetonka, so we went back to all the statements and realized they have been scamming us and charging my card $12.99/month + interest since June 2009. All the while I was buying 0 items yet had a balance of almost $700.00. At times they would even charge us twice in one month if they didn't charge us the previous month, which couldn't better confirm how big of a fraud this is.

When I called them about it, it took 4-5 month going from one person to the next, people blaming one another for this and then for them to tell me that since its far past the 6 months of the statements that they can't do anything about it. Funny how when you owe them something they reach you right away yet when they owe you money, they can't ever be reached. At the end they send me $500.00 which covers nothing but some interest and payments I made from June alone. When I tried to reach them to tell them I want all my money back, they never returned my calls. Also they did me the honors of downgrading me from a VIP card to a regular one like I'm gonna cry about that. I'm disgusted with their company and disturbed to know and think how many other people they must be doing that to.

I got 3 gift cards for Christmas 2013 from 3 different family members. There were already problems with receiving one of the gift cards to my email from the beginning, and customer care at Victoria's Secret was aware of this, as one of my family members had talked to customer service already. When I bought my goods online I activated my 3 gift cards and it said that I had to pay additional 3 USD for my purchase, so I did this. It clearly stated that I used my 3 gift cards to pay and only withdrawn 3 USD from my bank account.

However I saw a few days later that the whole amount (203.15 USD) was withdrawn from my bank account and that my 3 gift cards had not been used but was still activated. I contacted customer service per email because of the distance (I live in Denmark) on 5th of January 2014. They replied back on 6th of January that they could not do anything and that another family member, whose account on the online shop I had to use because of the initial problems with the gift cards, had to contact them if they were to do anything about it.

So the other family member contacted them on 10th of January 2014 and from there we heard nothing. It's been almost 2 months now. One of my family members that gave me a gift cards lives in California. She had to exchange my goods in a Store in Reno because of size-difference. Victoria's Secret write online and everywhere else that it is easy to return or exchange goods. But in reality they also make a scam here.

In the Store my aunt was told that the only way to exchange was to buy the exchanged clothes for the prices in the Store. This price is different from the price when buying online. She did this reluctantly because she was told that she would get the amount back as soon as the matter settled. But when she got the money back, she only got the amount that I had paid for the goods online and therefore not all the money that she had to pay in the Store (because of the difference in price), to be able to exchange my goods.

Bonus-info: my sister also got gift cards from Victoria's Secret this Christmas and has similar problems. I want to report this because I don't want this to happen to anyone else. Furthermore I would like to shed a light on the scam and mis-information they use to get money from customers. I am very surprised and disappointed that such a big brand can be so unethical.

Around Christmas time, I called to place a purchase for a new winter jacket. The woman on the phone told me I could get an additional discount if I opened a Victoria's Secret store card, so I agreed. She asked me on the phone if I wanted to use the new store card to make the purchase and I said no, because I knew store cards have higher interest rates and I wanted to pay directly from my bank account. I gave her my debit card number. I was shopping for the holidays and the jacket was rather inexpensive (it was clearance) so I thought the money had come out of my checking account (I actually thought I had seen the charge on my bank statement, but I guess I was mistaken and didn't think twice.)

Over the next few months, I got bills for the VS card and threw them out, thinking they were automatically generated and the card has a zero balance, because I had never used it to purchase anything. Then I started getting phone calls, 10 times a day, I thought it was solicitations, but I finally pick up and ask "Who is calling me?!" They advised me my VS card was in collections. I was like "I've never used that card for anything, how can it be in collections?" Well, the girl I spoke to charged my VS account after I specifically told her NOT to, so all this time, I had an outstanding balance, which had more than doubled because of late fees and interest.

I demanded VS pull the phone call and hear that I specifically told this woman NOT to charge my VS account and that I gave her my bank card number. I was told I would hear back in 7 to 10 days... When I did, they still refused to take the charged off, so I called them demanding to hear the call for myself, because I KNEW for a fact I told her not to charge that card, all of a sudden, they decided to remove all charges! They knew I was right and didn't want me to hear the phone call, so they forgave all outstanding debt, I paid the amount of my purchase and told them I wanted my card account with them closed immediately and I would never shop with them again. I also asked them to clear my credit since this was their mistake and they refused until I wrote a letter. They charged a card I asked them not to charge and refused to remove the charges until I demanded to hear the phone call for myself. LIARS. And they know it.

I gave them my "Limited Brands" discount paper and they said: "Sorry but according to this, you are only hired seasonally." I told her "My manager kept me on with BBW, I can show you proof with my TD Bank app that shows that I receive BBW pay checks within the last week."

She wouldn't let me buy ANY items. She said, "It's store policy, you already showed that you're an employee so you can't buy any items." I asked, "Can't I go pay at another register like any normal customer and pay full price then?" and she said, "No, you can't buy anything, sorry."

Although VS is obviously overpriced, I have always been a regular customer at the Logan Valley mall in Altoona, PA. Well I can tell you I won't be visiting there again after my most recent experience. I purchased a nightgown for my mom as a Christmas present via the internet. When I got it, it just wasn't what I had expected. I went the next day to exchange it for a pyjama set of the same price. (52.00$) I went to the register and the transaction wouldn't go through.

After trying 2 or 3 times the lady said "It’s not going through there's nothing we can do about it." Really? Nothing can be done about it? I then realized I purchased the nightgown with a credit card that I lost and deactivated a few days before. So they couldn't put the money back on the card. They said "for my safety" they couldn't give me cash back either so I’d have to take a gift card, which is ridiculous. I don't have the kind of money to spend 104$ on a night shirt! But, I said okay. The manager said I would receive a gift card IN THE MAIL within a few days, again "for my safety" whatever that means.

It was a day before Christmas, I’m 17 years old trying to save up money for Christmas gifts, and I was really upset. Well I waited and waited weeks for my gift card and it didn't come. So today I went to the store and explained my problem. The manager looked so bothered by my question. She called customer service and talked to them like I was lying, emphasizing on the word "claims" when she tells them I didn't get my card. After hanging up and says "You were given a gift card in store." I said no I was not given a gift card, I was told it would be mailed to me by another manager. She said 'nope, you were given one". Oh I forgot you were there, oh that's right you weren't so you don’t know anything.

Do not accuse ME of lying. I’m not the one ripping someone off. She just continued to look at my receipt and say no you were given one. So I said you’re telling me I lose 50$ because one of your managers made a mistake? And she says you were given a gift card. I had both of my receipts which showed my return and the 2nd purchase of pyjamas and it clearly shows I paid with cash, no gift card involved. I cannot believe a million dollar clothing store is going to fight with me and rip me off of 50$ which is barely enough for a pair of elastic yoga pants. I cannot fathom it. I will be calling the store and reporting that moron manager "Beth". And I’ll make my experience known to everyone.

A very disappointed and disgusted online shop experience - I will never ever ever use their online shop again!!! Do NOT purchase anything from Victoria Secret website if you live outside of the US!!! I live in the UK and purchased some items from their website. After a few days I have received an email from their E partner shop and asked me to pay for a ridiculous amount of import duty. This import duty was NEVER mentioned when I made the payment online and over the phone (also bear in mind that we have VS shops in the UK). According to the English import law, I do NOT need to pay for any import tax when an online purchase is below £135. I will only need to pay for 20% VAT which would be waived if the VAT amount is below £7. Surprisingly, VS has decided to charge me £12.72 with an $38 order.

I called VS customer services and complained about this hidden import charge. I was advised by the customer sales that this is how much import tax that my country is charging me. She also admitted that there was no mention of the extra import & admin charge under the payment screen, but there was nothing she can do. Because of this, I strongly believe this money is NOT charged by my country but VS's admin fee! After nearly an hour's conversation with a customer service girl called Jamie, she finally agreed to give me a full refund (including the handling fee and shipping charges I paid when I made the order). I then asked her to email me the confirmation. She said she didn't have any email access but I could take her word and I would receive a full refund. She also promised that other customer service handlers would be able see the refund agreement in my account. I then took down her name and telephone time and then emailed VS customer service for the confirmation to protect myself.

Guess what, I never received an email refund confirmation as they said in the email that they couldn't confirm how much I would receive until they received the items back. More importantly, they can't even confirm that I would be able to receive a full refund. I was also threatened by VS that if I refuse to accept the package, I would be responsible for the items if it is lost or stolen even though I never signed to receive the package. I don't understand why I am responsible for something that I never received!!! Up until now, I'm still waiting for my refund.

I can't believe a big company like VS will lie to their customers and not treating their customers fairly by applying all the hidden charges. If you live outside of US, do NOT purchase anything from their website as you will be charged for all sort of fees including ridiculous amount of handling fee, admin fee and 'import duty' which is applied by VS NOT by your government.

I order over $580 on a gift for my friend. When I placed the order on the "ship to" box, I entered my friend's name and on the "billing info", I used mine. Why not? Anyone can buy a gift and have it sent to a friend. Less than a month after the order was placed, I was getting VS Magazines. They had used the credit card information "mine" ... to sent magazines to my address!!! So I contact them right away and plead to please do not sent any more magazines because I have a Protection order Appointed by the Court, and why they were using my private info with out my consent. I never request any magazines nor anything delivered to me, and they were putting my life in danger.

Today, I got two other magazines. I call them up again and explained my situation "again" and assured them they were putting my life in danger and that was wrong, to please stop sending magazines. Now I will have to move and find another place to live. No matter how hard I tried, the only answer was "Ma'am, my apologies for the inconvenience but it will take 90 days and during this time, you will still get the magazines delivered to that address." They obviously didn't care I have a protection order.

UPS said, "Don't worry, for $5 you can change the address" :-), but Victoria's Secret has to call and authorize the transaction. We called VS, first thing they said as we don't use UPS... Then..."Oh it was shipped to PR, that's why we used UPS". We asked, like we have done many times, this happens a lot. Can you please reroute our package to our UPS friendly address? "No, No! we don't do that". I asked to speak to a supervisor, I was denied that request and put on hold. Long story short VS would not change the address! All they needed to do was call UPS.... I was told by the clerk that the amount of my return would not be credited to my account for 2 to 3 days yet the instant I returned the item it was credited to my account. This close to the holidays, I was hoping that my shopping experience would be filled with the typical consumer society "happy joyous and shopping" experience. Instead, the clerk was a sadist. She also took the item to her manager, hiding the price tag in one hand and grasping the underwear with the other to ask if she should go ahead and proceed.

An $8 pair of underwear at half price can be compared to 5 for $12 at Charlotte Russe, though you will have to face the scrutinizing staff, managers, and what I'm assuming is security as they are always talking into their mouthpieces and not to the customers. If you follow me through a store, please be sure you know what I'm looking to buy and be ready to make the sale yourself.

I purchased five Victoria's Secret lace bikini panties for $26 with cash late November 2013. The lace panties did not provide the comfort I was looking for, so I decided to return them all to the store along with two new cotton hip hugger panties. The store I purchased them and brought them back is located at the Summit Sierra Mall in Reno, Nevada. The person who assisted me asked the reason I wanted to return and I explained it to her. She asked if I had kept the receipt, I said no; she then asked whether I paid with a credit card, I told her I paid with cash. She looked at me and said that in that case, the panties could not be returned due to the following reasons: first, the labels were cut; second, there was no receipt and she could not look it up in the system since I paid cash.

When I rebutted her and questioned who would wear panties with the tag on, she then used a second set of reasons to refuse the return by saying that Nevada Laws prohibited the return of panties without labels due to hygienic concerns and even if she wanted to help, she still needed a bar code to ring them up. I honestly never heard of such Nevada law, but I did not want to say anything without independent verification; however, I questioned her on her bar code excuse because the store still sell those panties and all she needed to do was to go locate the different color and she could then entered the bar code.

Her response was each panty had a unique bar code. So I further questioned and asked if there were 10,000 panties for sale in the store, did she mean that there were 10,000 bar codes? She said yes. I knew that she did not tell the truth, so I asked to speak to the store manager. She said that she is the store manager and that she made the final decision. The entire conversation lasted about 10 minutes and she kept a stern face and raised her voice louder and louder. I finally lost my patience and raised my voice and said, "Listen, I am the customer here, you don't talk to me like this." She in return said that I was the one who was rude and yelled at her and that she would call Mall security to escort me out. She did call the security but instead of being escorted out, I escorted myself out.

I threw away the seven panties in the trash bin outside the store and left the scene. I have been a loyal customer for Victoria's Secret since 1994 and I work with business everyday throughout my career. I have never seen such poor customer service and especially it was done by a store manager who should be expected to understand the real meaning of customer service and provided good example to her staff. Not only I questioned the validity of the Nevada Laws who prohibit return of used panties due to hygienic reasons; I also questioned Victoria's Secret's corporate policies regarding when and in what circumstances security should be called and used.

I definitely think that this store manager in Summit Sierra Mall, Reno, Nevada misused her authority to flex her "muscles"; fenced off a loyal customer and abused the use of security. I hope corporate officers of Victoria's Secret would care to read my review, as well of hundreds of others who gave one or two stars to the company due to their unsatisfactory experiences. According to Consumer Affairs' website as of 12/16/2013, out of the 290 complaints filed against Victoria's Secret, 68% gave a one star rating, 23% gave a two star rating, an alarming total of 91% are unsatisfied with the Company's Customer Service! What should be the lesson learned?

After I left the store, I check my bag and saw the blanket wasn't in my bag. I went back in the store and spoke to the cashier that checked me out. She said I wasn't able to get the free blanket because I didn't purchase full priced bras. She said, "The company wants you to buy full priced bras to get the blanket."

The bras I purchased were a promotion, 2 for $49.50. When I explained the wording on my coupon, she said I couldn't get the free blanket. WOW, everyone, check your coupons with the store manager before you check out. Don't get taken like I did. I explained to the cashier there was nothing on the coupon that stated I had to spend a certain amount of money or excluded promotions. It only stated, "EXCEPT PINK BRAS". I can compare the fabric to pajamas of season's past and it's quite obvious that the material is thinner and cheaper, and the quality of the stitching is sub-par to previous years. How disappointing that the quality has gone downhill so much. I want fluffy flannel pajamas and ended up with pajamas that are thinner and cheaper than a summer blouse and the silver striping of one pair is already coming off after only one wash. They definitely are not worth $49.50 and I'll be looking to shop elsewhere in the future.

I have been a long time wearer of the VS line of Cotton Lingerie. We are talking years. They were the only panties that fit well, lasted, and looked nice under clothing. Lately, every time I place an order, I notice the fabric quality, stitching, and longevity are poor at best. The panties and bras used to last me several years. My most recent order of panties are scratchy, thin, and uncomfortable. I hoped after a washing they would soften up, but as soon as they came out of the dryer, they seemed even worse, and now, even washing on cold, have shrunken up to a size that would fit a newborn baby.

I know I am not imagining things, as I still have several pairs of the "older" material that, while faded, feel great and are comfortable. Sadly, I will have to be on the lookout for a new supplier for lingerie. I expected more from them. I realize many companies have to cut costs in order to survive, but at what price to the consumer? How about stop mailing out thousands of catalogs and save money on postage, but make a quality product? I am sure, VS, you are going to lose many loyal customers if you don't take a hard look at your business practices. For me, I am done.

I have been buying VS bras and underwear for about 10 years. At first, I loved both, they lasted for years. In the past 2 years, I started noticing that the cotton underwear quality diminished. First, the fabric seemed thinner, the seams at the waist started to come apart, and the crotch area had loose fabric. Then, I started getting holes in the fabric after only having the underwear for a few months. Then, in the last 6 months, I started having problems with the cotton bras. The underwire (which is no longer a wire, but plastic) has broken on me while I am wearing the bra.

The first time this happened, I bent over to pick up something. When I went to return the bra, I did not have a receipt, as it had been a few months. VS insisted on sizing me and I told them I was wearing the same bra I am returning and just want to replace it. They still insisted, but just put me in a room, handed me the same bra in the same size that I was returning. When I had it on, the salesgirl tugged on the strap and said it looks like it fits. When I went to the counter to do the exchange, they insisted on telling me how to wash my bra. I told them I have used them for years and have never had a problem. VS says to hand wash and lay flat to dry, I put them in the machine on delicate and hang to dry. Well, not another bra has broken in the same place.

Recently, when I took my mom to purchase some bras at VS, the salesgirls asked us if we knew how to wash them and told us again about washing on delicate and laying flat to dry. Of all the years I have been purchasing bras there, they never told me how to wash them. I believe that VS is having their salespeople inform customers of this because they are starting to get more returns and are wanting to blame it on the customer, when in fact it is their quality. A wire does not break as easily. In the past if I had a wire break, it would have been after I had the bra for several years, not months!

After walking around looking at merchandise and grabbing two items, I asked the fitting room attendant if I could please put my bags somewhere since they were heavy and I wanted to put them at ease that I wasn't going to steal anything. The girl took it however later after I got out of the fitting room with the bras and I saw security talking with a sales associate saying, "Did you call security?" She said, "Yes, but never mind" when I looked at her and she was looking right at me.

How rude! They shouldn't be treating their customers like this. I don't know if it was how I was dressed but this behavior was inappropriate beyond all reason and I wonder if they treat girls the same way that have oversize bags or if it was just that I shopped at other stores beforehand since it is in a mall. Anyways, later on, I called the manager of the store and she said to me, "We rarely call security." Then the manager said, “I will talk to the employees because that is not okay.” However, I am still thinking they shouldn't be treating their customers like that when they are paying the outrageous prices for poor quality merchandise depending on the item.

Someone basically used my address and placed an order using an American Express card. I called as soon as I received the letter and confirmed with someone at VS that I have not received any packages from them around that time. Nothing was signed for or left on my porch. Once I confirmed everything they asked, I assumed everything was taken care of.

About one month ago, I received a VS Credit Card that I applied for. I got approved for $250. I looked through the catalog I was sent and saw that they carried Ugg Boots that I was not able to get for my daughter for Christmas. I placed my order online and called because with tax and shipping, it took my order over the $250. I spoke to a few reps who were able to assist me in getting free shipping and my card to accept a $261 total. At this time, I was sure my order would be placed and was super excited to find out that I would be able to get a free getaway bag since my order was over $75.

A few days after I placed my order (around 2/25/13), I received a vm from Amber stating that she would need to speak with me. I called her the very next morning and left her a vm. On 2/26, I had not heard back and thought to check the status of my order. I was told that I would have to speak to Amber. I indicated that I left a message for her yesterday and they transferred me to Jocelyn. Jocelyn indicated that there was a problem with my order because of the fraudulent charge made to my account in 2011. I told her that I remember getting a letter and that I thought everything was taken care of because I confirmed the charge was not made by me. Jocelyn then told me that I would need to call the local Police Dept. and explain to them what had occurred and to have the Police call her?

I told her that I don't think the Police will call VS regarding this matter but that I would let them know what I am being instructed to do. She then said to go there in person and let them know. I told her, "Since I responded back when I received the letter, why am I responsible?" She said that it was because they are ordering the same size as you. I said, "They ordered shoes?" She then told me what was ordered and I asked her how she could possibly know what size I am. I did contact the Police and also went there and they told me they did not understand why they were involved with something that took place more than 2 years ago. They asked me if VS had proof, if I signed for the package since it was made to my address on a card that does not belong to me.

I told them that I did not. I have called and spoken with Kim more than once. She indicated that Yokim would review the call and call me back; that was 5 days ago. I called on Friday and spoke to Kim again to let her know that I have not received a call from Yokim or Amber (who I left numerous messages for). She said that the only thing she could do is to leave them messages. I asked if I should cancel my order; she indicated that it would not be a bad idea, but she is not able to assist in giving me status. She was only able to leave messages which both of us have been doing, for them to call me.

This has been extremely frustrating and is a joke considering the fact that I was approved. I received assistance in getting the order processed (even passed my credit limit), but it's sitting on someone's to-do list for more than a week. As of today, I have not heard from anyone. A company this size should have more people trying to assist, not just 3 (one on vacation, one out of the office, and a mgr that doesn't return calls). Being that it has been more than a week. I wonder if I still get the getaway bag since the offer ended yesterday. I just wonder if anyone there cares or will contact me.

I went in to my local Victoria's Secret to purchase some bras. I went to the bras that I always buy, opened the drawer that contained my size. I found two bras that I liked so I grabbed them. I was standing in line waiting to be rung out. While I was waiting, I started looking at my bras. The back one I loved looked dirty and was worn in some places, and as I inspected it, I realized it didn't even have a tag on it. I took it to the cashier and asked her if it was used. She looked at it and agreed that it looked used and said, "Someone didn't know what they were doing and put a returned item out for sale when it should have been sent back." She said that I could go get another one. I told her that it was the only one in my color as the larger cup sizes do not have many choices. She said, "Well, I wouldn't buy this one, it has been used." There was no, "I'm sorry," no, "I'm sorry that was the only one in that color," nothing, just, "Go get another one." I should have gotten a discount and an apology for that mess up. This is the second bad experience I have had in this store. It's annoying.

In the mean time, I still have to pay for it and was told a refund without interest will go back on the card. If I pay off an item I returned, they should send a check with the interest I paid to me. If they refund the card, I will have to use it to purchase more from that store, and I have no intention of ever shopping there again!

I used to keep VS panties for years, now, the last set I bought have all been trashed. Two of the pairs I poked a hole right through ... with my finger, just pulling them on! Two more are splitting right at the hip seam, and I've had them since Christmas! Not to mention, whatever type of textile these things are made of now, panty liners won't even stick! It is so frustrating. I was so glad to find this website to leave this comment.

I had an awful experience with a cashier that left me not wanting to shop at Victoria's Secret anymore. I came to return a bottle of perfume that I had purchased on September 6, less than 90 days after purchase, as per VS rules. The perfume box was still sealed in plastic, and I had my original receipt. First, the cashier tried to tell me that November 24 is past 90 days of purchase, which is not, and tried to give me store credit, which I did not want. Next, she tried to tell me that she couldn't process the return because the bar code on the receipt was faded, which was not my fault. I file my store receipts in a file folder, but if VS makes receipts that do not last throughout the return period, I cannot help that.

Having worked in retail and corporate services, I know that there are ways of getting around faded bar codes, so I kept encouraging her to get her manager, who was difficult to reach. While we waited for the manager to arrive, the cashier kept insisting that there was no way that I could get my refund, and kept insisting that I take the store credit instead, which I did not want. She never made eye contact, but looked at her coworkers, and implied that I was the one being difficult. She also insisted that I would have to return the "free gift" I'd gotten with purchase if I wanted a refund. In my opinion, it's not a "free gift" if it blocks me from being able to return a purchase. I never wanted that free gift, and I had no idea where it was.

Of course, when the manager arrived, she gave the cashier a simple solution to the problem, and told her to process the return. The cashier tried to suggest, again, that I be given a store credit instead, but the manager clearly said to give me the refund. Then, the manager disappeared to the back again. In the meantime, the cashier had decided to ring up the purchase of another sales associate, and she really took her time doing it. She chatted with the associate about personal matters, made sure to very slowly open up several rolls of coins, etc.

Then, when she couldn't avoid my transaction anymore, she proceeded with it except that she still couldn't "figure out" how to do it, and had to go to the back to find the manager again. When she finally returned, she started stalling again, and talking to her coworkers, and complaining about the long work day, and about all the customers coming into the store, rather than paying attention to the transaction. All of a sudden, she stopped the transaction, and insisted that I show an ID card, even though I had the original debit card. You could tell that she was hoping to find another way to not have to complete this transaction. I provided her the ID card, but couldn't believe that she would be so inconsiderate, after already keeping me waiting at the register for more than 20 minutes. Transaction completed, she never apologized for the long wait, never thanked me for my patience, never made eye contact, no customer courtesy at all.

In my opinion, this associate needs to be retrained. Also, the manager should not have left the cashier, knowing that she was struggling with this transaction. I will not shop at this location (Wheaton, MD Mall) anymore, and I may not shop at VS at all. It just wasn't worth those 20-30 minutes of rudeness and waiting for something which should have been simple and direct.

I'd strongly discourage anyone from buying online from this company. They are complete scam artists. I've honestly had no problems shopping in the store but my online experiences have been pure hell! The first time I placed an order, I received a couple of body creams and a shower gel that were not to my liking, so I packed the items up along with the original receipt and headed to the store for an exchange. None of the items was used. I only wanted to exchange them for the same products, different fragrances. After getting to the counter with my new selection and items to return, I was shocked to find out their return policy. They wouldn't refund the items at the register and stated that they had to return (mail) the items back to their corporate office which would then prompt a credit on my MasterCard. He said that it would take 7-10 business days to see the credit.

He kindly explained that although I wouldn't receive a refund in the store, I could still purchase the new items that were in my hand. I started to do just that until I realized the items were at a higher price in the store than the returned items! WTH? I declined but went ahead and returned the three items and left the store with a return receipt and UPS tracking receipt. The UPS tracker stated that their corporate office had received my return two days after I took it to the store but I went ahead and waited 10 business days before contacting them. Needless to say, after several inquiries and much frustration regarding the status of my return, they finally credited my MasterCard after 45 days!

My next purchase was on a humble, not thinking they'd screw me again. This time, I placed an order for several items. When my shipment arrived, I noticed that three of the items that I ordered were missing and three items that I hadn't ordered were in the box. Thinking I'd made a mistake, I pulled up my original order online to verify. Sure enough, they botched up my order. I immediately called them. The CS rep tried to make me think I ordered the wrong items, although I was reading my order to her as I looked at it on my cell phone. We went back and forth then she rudely stated that a phone is not a computer. Anyway, she was more than happy to send out the missing items and urged me to return the erroneous items within 30 days so that I wouldn't be charged. I packed up the items along with the receipt and returned them to the store the very next day. Again, receiving a return receipt and UPS tracking receipt. A week or so later, they shipped the missing items to me, credited the three erroneous items at the sale price but recharged me for reshipped items at a higher price!

Not only that, they also added shipping charges! I was furious. After calling them, they apologized with a lame excuse and agreed to credit my card. A month and a half later, they charged me again for the re-shipped items. When I called, she stated that they charged me because they hadn't received the other items back. (I explained that the items were returned to the store the day after I received them!) After holding while she researched, she stated that they had received the items but didn't know why I was charged again. After a few days, my credit showed up. A couple weeks later, they charged my MasterCard two more times!

When I called, they claimed they didn't know why the charges kept showing up. She stated that I needed to speak to the Editing Dept. since they're the ones responsible for the charges, but since they close at 4:30, I had to call back the next day! The next day, after explaining my issue and giving my MasterCard # for the 50th time, they promised to credit my card for the two charges. I will be notifying MasterCard to cancel my card due to the unauthorized charges and warn them about this shady ** company. VS can't get another nickel from me!

I know of many women who feel this way. I feel that I shouldn't have to turn the channel or avoid an area of the mall due to Victoria's Secret using sex to sell their product. Their commercials come on suddenly and I feel that I am forced against my will to view half naked women before I am able to turn the channel. Everywhere we turn nowadays, there are half naked women. You can't even buy groceries without being bombarded by half naked women on magazines. These companies don't appear to be restricted to a G rating on their product when there are all ages present.

I have seen mothers cringe as their children have garbage magazines displayed in front of them that make fun of overweight celebrities wearing almost nothing. I am tired of the agenda in America to push as much sex on the American public as possible. Someone needs to put some restrictions on these companies. If people want to see naked or almost naked people, then they can go to a strip club or rent it. We, the general public, should not be forced to view what should be restricted.

The following week on Wednesday when I went to take out my dirty laundry to wash, I realized that the bra was leaking oil. That's when I realized where the oil was coming from.

I went to The Victoria's Secret store on 57th or 58th and Lexington in NYC and spoke to the manager. They said they were not responsible for the damage of my clothing, which were not cheap, and gave me a new bra and a 30% discount card. I did not think that was a fair decision, since it was the store's bra that caused the damages to my clothing. The bra was not one of your cheaper bras. I am a quality shopper and am very disappointed with the quality of the bra and how I was compensated at the store. I would appreciate it if you can get in touch with me, because a 30% discount card is not enough compensation for the damages. The bra they gave me was a replacement for the damaged bra. Being accused of shoplifting - On May 23, 2012, my sister and I were shopping in a Victoria's Secret store. The sales associate, Anne, asked us if we needed help and we informed her that we were looking at the merchandise and did not need assistance. She followed us through the store and stood watching from each section we went. A security guard entered the store. The security guard walked over to Anne and she pointed at us and started a conversation with the security guard. At this time, the security guard stood and watched my sister and I directly. She stood giving intimidating eye contact and making comments to Anne. We were at the front of the store.

We moved to the middle of the store and the guard followed. The sales associate asked me if I needed help again and stated that we had been in the store long enough to pick something out. At this time, we had been in the store for about 15 to 20 minutes, which is irrelevant as we are paying customers who have the right to take our time to shop. The sales associate then came to my sister and I again and asked if we needed help. I told her at this time, "I think you've asked us enough times if we need help and we don't. You asked us about 20 times. We are paying customers and shopping." The sales associate said, "I hope so, I hope you are paying."

I told her that was a discriminatory comment. She then said she doesn't get paid enough to do this job and as she was talking, the security guard stated that she was watching my sister and I. She said that she was called up and told to watch us. My sister informed her that, "We don't steal and shop at this store constantly; there is no need to follow us." My sister talked to the sales associate, Anne, before on a prior visit, where she stated that she hated how young customers like her come into the store and act, that young people make her sick and she hates when they come in. She then said she hopes she's not like them.

The guard was extremely angry, talking loudly and very unprofessional, stating that she was watching us and following us. My sister asked for a manager and Anne called for the store manager from where she stood. The store manager, Jess, came out and we asked her to move to the other side of the store so that we could talk to her. She walked over with us and we told her exactly what took place. She stated that the security guards were not under her and there was nothing she could do about them. They randomly come into the store whenever they want. We told her that we preferred to talk to management as the employee was discriminating against us. We informed the manager that her employee was as much at fault as she followed us and made discriminatory remarks. The manager did not approach the employee or pull her to the side.

The sales associate and security guard continued to talk about us loudly stating, "people like them steal." What is people like us? We are bi-racial and they were black females. The manager asked us to please take our time shopping and we refused to be chased out of the store, as we were doing nothing wrong. The security guard continued to follow us, at one point, brushing past my sister and I and sighing under her breath to move out of her way. Anne was closing her shift as we shopped and switched shifts with another sales associate. We overheard her informing the new sales associate to watch us. She then said she was leaving for the night.

We picked out our items and I told the new sales associate we come there all the time and we don't steal. There was something said earlier about watching us. She said, "Yes, she told me that and to watch you," and asked if we needed help. Once Anne left the beauty section of the store, we thought she was no longer there. The security guard then left the store completely. When we went to the lingerie section to pay, Anne was in the back of the store pointing and telling other co-workers that we steal. The manager did not pull her to the side and confront her nor did she stop her from slandering and discriminating against us, even once she had been informed.

We paid for our items and went downstairs to the security office to report the guard. Lt. **, the woman at the security counter stated we could file a complaint. She gave us the name of the guard who was in the store and told us that a call came in telling them to come up to the store and follow us. She stated that they do not go into stores unless they are instructed to come in and follow individuals. I asked her if she heard the actual call come in and she stated, "Yes, a call came in to follow you two in the Victoria's Secret store." I asked her if a sales associate called, she said, "Yes, the sales associate called and told us to send someone up to follow two women in the Victoria's Secret store."

We wrote a complaint and took a copy of it. This is unjust and absurd. My sister and I shop in this store on a regular basis and have done so since we were teenagers. We have never stolen, never been suspected of stealing, as we don't steal! We have spent a huge amount of money in this and several other Victoria's Secret stores and at this point, are unsure if we want to shop at this store or mall in the future.

This was a completely discriminatory act from the store and mall security and something needs to be done about it. These individuals harassed us while we shopped and made discriminatory comments. As avid customers, there is no way to begin to describe the feelings brought about from these acts. No person should be made to feel this way, especially as a paying customer who is simply shopping with her sister. I will pursue this to the highest point, as there was no excuse for what took place today and no one "like us" should have to feel what we felt today. An employee represents a company and this store and mall should be held responsible for these acts of discrimination.

I entered the Hattiesburg Mississippi store on 05-22-12 between 7:30 and 8:00 pm. I was never approached by any of the employees after walking around for at least five minutes to ask if I needed any help. My intention was to buy a bathing suit. I finally found one I wanted to try on and began looking for a dressing room. The two ladies, I noticed with the headsets on, walked right by me a few times not saying a word. I finally asked where the dressing room was and she pointed to the far left side of the store. I then went in the dressing room and realized I had the wrong bottom size to the swimsuit. I poked my head out for at least 30 sec to a minute, waiting on someone to assist me.

There was a customer standing close by and kindly flagged the VS worker with the long blonde hair in a low ponytail to come help me. I told her I needed a medium or a large in the swimsuit bottom. She said, "I'm not sure if we have the large size but let me see." So, I was standing in the dressing room with the swimsuit top on and my underwear waiting on her to come back. Well, I waited, and I waited, until I realized she had obviously forgotten about me after about five minutes had passed. I then decided to get dressed and just get it myself. When I was putting my clothes back on, she knocked on the door and said, "Are you doing okay in here?" I said, "Well, I have been waiting all this time for you to return with a different size as I asked." She said, "Well, we didn't have the large." I said, "Well, I said or a medium." She said, "Oh." I said, "Just never mind."

My complaint is: (1) I was not asked for help, I had to ask for help; (2) I was left in the dressing room waiting for way too long and then she seemed to not have any idea why I was still in there; (3) once I came out, the VS employees didn't seem to even notice I was still there. I have shopped online with VS and bought at least two bathing suits, one recently that I love. I didn't realize that VS had swimsuits in the store so I was happy going in that I was going to be able to try on. I would have bought the bathing suit and probably a strapless push-up bra for my beach trip this weekend, but my experience tonight made me just walk out of the store. I hope you replace these ladies or send them to customer service classes.

Reading all the reviews below, I found that I did not have any of those problems with VS Angels card payments, or with bra quality. However, I've gotten in trouble for buying too much from VS online! I don't buy all the time, rather once-twice a year. So, a couple of years ago, I decided to purchase swimsuits for myself, for in-law, for my mother and a friend. During one month, I bought about 15 swimsuits, of course, in different sizes. I did not return any of them. Later on, I got a call from VS, and some rude lady had questioned me on why I did buy so many swimsuits and for whom. She questioned why I bought different sizes and never returned any of them.

She said that it is VS policy to sell only to people for their own individual use, and if my mother or in-law or friend wanted to buy VS, they have to do it on their own. I mentioned that my mother does not work and does not even have a bank account. VS lady said that in this case, I have to purchase a gift certificate for her, so she can shop on her own. No question if my mom can use computer or drive a car. VS lady said that they cannot sell any more swimsuits to me from that moment on. The lady also said that VS has a whole department that watches what people buy by person and for how much.

Okay, I stopped buying from VS for over a year. Recently, I decided to buy clothes for myself only, all the same size. I bought clothes for over $500. Guess what, I've got a voice mail from VS again that they need to speak to me about "very private matter". I don't know if I can buy anymore from VS because I get punished for buying.

In December 2000, I opened a credit card account with Victoria's Secret and was charged a little over $4 on the card. 3-6 months later, I received my first bill stating I owed over $200. I contacted them immediately and customer service informed me they would remove all the charges including the $4 purchase and close my account. Now, over 11 years later, I receive a letter from a collection agency asking for the $200-plus. I first contacted VS and they told me my account on file was closed and to contact the agency on the letter. So I contacted the collection agency on the letter. They told me I had to contact yet another company to dispute the charges. So I called the second collection company, they recorded my dispute and told me I had to write a letter and send in evidence from VS stating they removed the charges from my account!

This was 11 years ago. I do not keep any files for over 5 years. Now, I have to hope VS has something on file regarding my phone conversation. I do not understand why it took this long for them to contact me. I have had the same phone number for over 7 years, the same address for over 4 and the original account address was my parent's address until just last year. I have checked my credit information at least 3 times in the past 10 years and never saw anything regarding VS or any other collection charges. I do not understand how they can possibly collect or how I will be able to convince them I do not owe this money!

I am writing today in regards to Victoria’s Secret’s Brilliant Lip Shine. I have purchased three Lip Shines from Victoria’s Secret, only to be disappointed in the horrible stench they developed. I don’t know how else to describe the stench, but it’s something that no one would ever want to put on their lips, trust me. The odor smells as if something is rotting inside the makeup. I have actually asked my friends and coworkers to smell them, just to verify that it wasn’t just me who smelled the odor, but they all agreed that the makeup is repulsive.

I contacted Victoria’s Secret via email, and received an immediate response. However, when I requested the full amount of money to be refunded to me, I was told that they could only issue me out a Victoria’s Secret gift card worth $25. The reason for this was because I had lost the original receipt. I had originally purchased each at $14, which in total came out to be $42. So, a $25 gift card would just mean a loss. I soon contacted Victoria’s Secret via telephone and spoke with a live representative who also told me that all they can do is issue me out a $25 gift card due to the fact I had lost the receipt. I told them it wasn’t my fault that the makeup developed such a horrid scent. So, of course, I demanded to speak with a supervisor. A supervisor called me within a few hours, I explained to her what the issue was, and she apologized and told me she would refund the full amount to me.

About a week later, I received a gift card in the mail for $25. I figured that the rest of the money, $17, would be mailed to me at least another week or so. Now, it has been a little over a month and I still have not received the $17 gift card. I called Victoria’s Secret and questioned them about the whereabouts of the gift card, and they told me it got lost in the mail and that they have sent out a new one. I still have not received it, though. I am very disappointed with the conduct of how Victoria’s Secret handles issues.

In closing, the scent from the Victoria’s Secret Brilliant Lip Shine is just so repulsive and disgusting that it causes me to wonder what exactly is in their makeup to create such a rotting stench. Brilliant Lip Shine, more like, Smelly Lip Shine. Honestly, if there are any lawyers or media personnel reading this, please contact me. I will let you smell the makeup so that you can also verify that Victoria’s Secret Brilliant Lip Shine does have a truly horrid, disgusting, rotting odor. I would seriously like for an investigation to be done on this product and on the company itself. Perhaps even a warning could be issued by the media to alert other consumers of the rotting stench that Victoria’s Secret Brilliant Lip Shine develops.

I had bought a pair of yoga pants about a month ago and have worn them maybe 3 times. After washing them, I noticed the gems fell off of the back of the pants and there's a hole where the top part of the pants fold over. I’m a little annoyed considering I paid $29.50 for a pair of stretch pants that I won't be wearing again.

Then, I tried writing an e-mail to the customer service department on the Victoria Secret site and it says it cannot submit my complaint because I don't have an order number. I would have saved my receipt if I would have known the pants were going to fall apart on me within a month. Actually, I would have never wasted my money if I would have known this was going to happen and had this much trouble trying to contact someone about the situation.

I have always shopped mostly online with Victoria’s Secret. They have a shipping cost policy that I believe is a rip off. I have always believed that standard shipping costs are calculated by weight. Victoria secret determines your shipping costs by the amount of the order. So this means that if I order a dress for $100, they charge me $15.99 for shipping when this product does not weigh more than 1 pound and they ship it USPS regular mail. I have shipped a box to AZ through USPS regular mail that weighed 10 pounds for $7.60 and it was delivered faster than the products I receive from VS.

But this is the icing on the cake: if you would like to have your item shipped next day, it will cost $17.99, which I'm okay with because it’s fast service. However, they still charge you the standard shipping cost, which adds up to $33.98. If I'm requesting next day shipping, why is it that they can still charge me for standard shipping on top of the next day shipping? This is a highway rip off. I was not requesting standard shipping, but I still have to pay it for it on top of the next day shipping charges. Someone really needs to look into this. I shop online all the time and have never seen anything like this. Also, when the package comes I could see how much the postage was. It is always less then what VS has charged for shipping. This means that they are pocketing the rest of the shipping costs.

In the fall of 2008, I opened a credit card with VS. I paid half of my balance with my first bill. I was then asked to "go paperless" and never got word from VS again. In all fairness, I should have been responsible and remembered that I still had half a balance to pay. But I forgot about it and received no bills as a reminder, either paper or electronic. Two years later, when applying for a mortgage with my husband, this came up on my credit report. So, we applied for the mortgage in just my husband's name (we couldn't get a loan with me on it). I called VS to pay off and cancel my card. I paid the balance, late fees, and even the $15 over-the-phone-payment-charge and asked to have my account closed.

Now, just last month (2 and a half years later!), I received a call from a collection agency saying that I still owed $25 on my card. Just wanting to get rid of this, I paid the $25 and a second $15 phone-payment charge. I also asked to speak to a manager, to whom I conveyed my concern that this has unknowingly been hanging like a black card over my credit history. He said he would happily put a note in my credit file explaining what happened.

Now, one month since that discussion, I still haven't received a "debt release letter" (which I was told to expect "by next Friday"). I called back to ask about it. I was told that a letter would not be sent out for a few more days, even though my bank account was charged 4 weeks ago. So, feeling nervous, I asked to speak with a manager again and just clarify that my account was indeed closed (he said he couldn't confirm that until 30 days after payment, and it has only been 29) and that no one would have told me that they could put a note in my credit history with the company. I asked him directly if that meant that the previous manager had lied to me. He said, "You will have to call back in a few days to request a debt release letter." Then, he asked for the name of the manager who told me that he would put a note in my credit history. I admitted that I didn't know, and that I don't know his name either. So, he told me again, Ranjor, Ranjiv, Ranj-something. I couldn't understand.

I'm going to call back tomorrow and make sure that someone sends me this letter. Then, I'm going to contact the credit score companies and see what recourse I have. And I'm never, ever shopping at Victoria Secrets again. Buyer, beware: the pretty bras aren't worth the grief of having your credit score (and, by association, your spouse's) ruined for almost a decade.

So before anyone reads this, I want to make it very clear that I do not suffer from image or emotional issues because of my body. This hatred for the company has come from their own marketing campaigns that have come about this year. I have shopped VS for years, as a matter of fact every girl I know has. Then this year, these commercials started coming on television, not only after a certain time or on certain channels. I am watching ABC holiday shows while nearly nude women caress themselves asking men to, ”kiss me, love me, and want me“, “there is no other woman like me”.

What is VS trying to sell here? Model women. Their flat out are brainwashing men with sex propaganda. It is disgusting and offensive. I thought I was the only one that felt that way so I polled my friends on my Facebook. Out of 200 female friends, 65% of them who are in the range from 17-35, agreed that the commercials were offensive and inappropriate. Many of them commented at the end stating they have lost interest in supporting the company. Victoria's Secret will lose its market trying to sell women as sexual objects instead of encouraging average women to feel sexy. There has never been a campaign to make women feel more uncomfortable sitting in their living rooms with their families and loved ones. Even I was home alone, I changed the channel because it makes me so uncomfortable and angry. If the words ‘Victoria's Secret’ were not listed in the commercial, it would appear as a commercial soliciting sex. They are not playboy commercials or a hustler commercial. Why is this okay? I would personally like to see this taken to the FCC.

I am increasingly offended by Victoria Secret's commercials due to their blatantly & highly sexually suggestive, verbal and visual content. Yes, I am a woman not targeted by their products because I'm middle aged and according to them, 'Past it', in terms of being able to look anything like sexually attractive in lingerie. Yes i feel fat (even though I'm a size 7) and inadequate compared to these models. I would never set foot into a Victoria Secret shop purely for this reason. Think of all the sales they are losing because of this lack of insight by the people who market their products. I suggest that if they want to increase their sales, they advertise some of their products on older, slightly plumper women (Like Dove did) and I'm sure they would get a better response.

I'm certainly not past it in wanting to look nice for my husband, but when I'm bombarded by these commercials night after night, I end up feeling unattractive and very angry. I expect there are women of all ages and sizes who feel offended and upset at these commercials. It's not just Victoria Secret either. Hair product commercials are not much better either, targeting young women with waist length thick hair. Get real for gods sake!!! It's such a small % of women you companies target, I'm surprised you make as much money as you do.

My suggestion is if these companies don't want to change -- start making commercials with gorgeous young male models advertising tight sexy boxers strutting their stuff in front of the camera, give the women some eye candy every 10 mins. every evening -- then see how the male population feel. They do it in Italy and treat this kind of advertising 50-50. Maybe then men would realize how demeaning and sexist this kind of advertising is.

I made two purchases with my Victoria's Secret consumer credit card that I had for 10 years. Incidentally, I was practically begged to sign up for, because the sales associates are required to sign up so many accounts per month to keep their employment. This means that when you walk into a VS store, you're being scouted as a potential VS card holder instead of being assisted as a potential consumer.

These purchases were made in October and November of 2010. It was then that VS suggested that I go paperless, to save the trees. After that, I didn't receive a bill in the mail, nor anything on line. By the time I did receive a reminder, there was a late fee and past due fee on my account. I disputed it and they agreed. I made my final payment in January and requested to close my account, and wanting to save the trees requested not to receive anymore catalogs. I still receive catalogs and there is a 30-60 days past due on my credit report, as well as a drop in my credit rating for the very first time in my life.

They actually credited back my gift givers credit card instead. So I get no gift this year or call my gift giver to explain what happened which will just hurt her feelings. I received no apologies from VS, no compensation for their **-up. I wrote them to cancel my account and delete me from their mailing list. I doubt they will do it or even respond.

The last time I was in VS was on 24 Sep 2011. I handed over my MasterCard and then recalled that I had points card with them. So I mentioned this to the cashier. I signed for the purchase on a computerized pad and walked out. Three months later, I've received a forwarded letter indicating that my VS account is overdue and I owe the original cost of $54 plus fees amounting to $30 as I write this. This would explain the random phone calls that began on 24 Nov 2011 from numbers in OH and CO, none of which left a message on my voicemail! These calls are coming twice a day now (29 Nov 2011), but I have yet to be at the phone to receive one.

I just tried contacting VS customer service and was informed that the credit card office is only open until 20:00 EST, entirely useless for those of us living on the west coast who don't want to waste time at work making calls to discuss personal finances. I am completely disgusted at this entire incident. The VS credit card should not be referred to as a rewards card, this is misleading. The cashier should not take a person's credit card and then charge to their VS account without informing the customer. I do not and have never had a physical VS credit card in my possession. Giving my cellphone number and signing an electronic pad should not be sufficient for a cashier to charge to any account! Fortunately, there is a 90-day return policy. This is the one saving grace of my situation. They can have their bra back and never have to deal with me again.

The next month, I made another online payment and then got phone calls about 3x per week but they don't leave messages and I screen phone calls. So I have no idea who is calling. Then I finally pick up and they tell me that my account is invalid again! I proceeded to make an over the phone payment and they still charge me the $15 payment fee! I will never use this card again! I wish I could close it! It's the only account that has caused me such grief and is messing up my credit! I hate this card! Buyers beware!

I've had this Victoria Secret card for awhile now, and I've only used it twice. The first time I used this card because they said "great deals", "coupons", "free stuff", when you use this card. I had to learn the hard way, what a scam this credit card company is! Back in February 2011, I got a late fee of $25 bucks, finance fee, racking up the bill to 100 and something dollars. Claiming they sent the bill via e- mail, which is not true! That my spam must have deleted it, not true. I got all my bill statements through my e- mail, and it's funny how I get all my statements, but not theirs! They said they would fix this. So, they removed the 1 time late fee, and finance charge. I was happy.

I'm a loyal Victoria Secret who spend over $1,000 dollars on V.S. every year. I usually use my MasterCard not the V.S. angel card. So, I used it again, in September 2011 for the 2nd time, and again, no e bill statement from them, and this time they won't remove the late fee of $25.00 or the $3.50 finance fee because they only remove once a year. And, they claim my e mail must have deleted it, the same excuse they used back in February. Which is a lie! I spend over thousands of dollars a year with a company. A company that makes billions a year. And, they lie, rip off loyal customers. It's wrong!

When I spoke to the manager, she did nothing, saying, "You have to talk to the Executive Branch."

I told her I asked 50 women walking by if they were offended by their content in windows and they said of course! It's ** and we hate it and hope they would respect and listen to us, but nothing happened. They never stopped. In fact, they have made more and more vulgar windows. Beware of angel card sales pitch! They performed an authorized credit check on me and put me at risk for identity theft!

I visited this store to buy some underwear as I am from a city in Canada where they do not have Victoria’s Secret yet. When I went to purchase my items, the girl at the register started in on the sales pitch for the Victoria’s Secret Angels "Rewards" Card. At no point in the pitch did she mention it was a credit card, and so I thought, why not, I would like to get free panties every month as I visit the US often enough. When she asked for my Social Insurance number, I hesitated, asking why they needed that information. She proceeded to tell me it was for Head Office use only and it was required to prove my identity, etc. I thought this was odd but being young and naive, I gave it to her (I know this was a mistake), and she proceeded to go through the process of collecting my information for the supposed rewards card. She then handed me the phone where someone from the World Financial Network National Bank asked me to give my estimated monthly income to her. At this point I was extremely concerned and asked her why they needed this information. She said it was for statistical purposes. I felt extremely pressured by the sales person and so I gave in, and immediately after the whole scenario occurred, I researched this card and found out it was a credit card.

They performed an authorized credit check on me! Now, I am not am complete idiot and know that this can affect my credit rating so I immediately contacted Victoria’s Secret Customer Service to discuss the issue. First of all, because I am under the age of 21, it was illegal for her to submit a credit card application that was not "in writing", and it was obviously illegal for them to perform a credit check on me without my knowledge. It took me a while to get through customer service, but I did finally manage to talk to a real person, who apologized and helped me sort this out. I am still going to have to wait for the application results to come in the mail so I can either cancel the account if it was approved or have them remove the credit inquiry from my credit report if I am denied.

I am extremely angry with what happened as I was taken advantage of and put in a situation where I could (and still can be) subject to identity theft. Additionally, the girl at the desk asked me for my credit card prior to payment while collecting information for the Angel Card and she scanned it to get my information. This is extremely risky and puts me at risk for identity theft. She did not tell me she was scanning my card for information as I had to scan it myself after to make the payment! While trying on one of the swimsuits, I pulled it down to adjust the side ties on it. When I did so, I realized that the swimsuit contained bodily fluids on it. The fluid was still damp and transferred onto the cotton thongs that I had on. I yelled at the dressing room attendant and told the cashier that I needed the corporate phone number. (I did purchase 2 bras and a pair of pants that I tried on before the swimsuit. I was in a hurry and did not have time to go to another store to try to find a similar style bra in my size, which is difficult to find.) The cashier was rude but did give me the phone number. The corporate person was pleasant but told me that I needed to speak to their claims department. The claims representative, Deanna **, said that they are an independent third party that is hired by Victoria's Secret; however, she clearly was extremely biased in Victoria's Secret's favor.

She told me that Victoria's Secret always checks every swimsuit and that they have never received a complaint like this, so it is highly unlikely that this happened. She also stated that the dressing room attendant gave a different story and said that the fluid was so fresh that it was like it had just happened and that she found the swimsuit liner balled up "some where else." The claims person continued on to say that swimsuits dry quickly and that the fluid from another person would "have to be" dry before I would have tried the swim suit on. I told her to check the security cameras in the store at the time that I visited to see if the swimsuit was checked before I tried it on and to see how long I was in the fitting room and where the swimsuit went, etc, etc. She that the burden of proof is on me to prove anything and that she will only say that she has conflicting stories and "facts" that say that every swimsuit is always checked by the store staff.

I told her that I am very concerned about my health because of this incident and am going to see a doctor to be certain that I did not contract anything from the swimsuit. She told me that it would be nearly impossible for me to contract anything and that "it is common knowledge for women to try bathing suits on that have liners" and that if she saw a swimsuit without a liner that she would not try it on. She also said that I should have worn "better" underwear that would have given me better coverage. She said that she would do nothing further and that if I want to continue to pursue anything against Victoria's Secret to get an attorney and that the attorney should then be in contact with them, but that since the burden of proof is on me, I do not have any proof to prove my case any way. She then told me that she had to have my date of birth. After asking her why, she said that she just had to and that it was a government regulation to get the birth date of anyone filing a claim against a company. (She also told me earlier in the conversation that I needed to speak to her "like an adult" otherwise she would not talk to me. This was because I was very upset and disgusted and became furious when she was insisting that the bathing suit was checked and that the attendant had found the liner elsewhere.)

For the record, I am a college educated adult, not a child. She then told me that she had to have my social security number. I again questioned her about this and told her that I could not understand why it is a government regulation for me to give her my social security number. She ended up saying that she did not actually have to have if I refuse to give it to her. She also told me that if I did decide to seek an attorney and move forward with a lawsuit, that it would be highly invasive toward me and that I would not like that. She asked if I was married and said that Victoria's Secret would look at my whole medical record and determine whether I have a past history or do things that I could contract a disease from instead of their swimsuit. I told her that although I am not married, I have been in a six year monogamous relationship and a three year monogamous relationship prior and that nothing in my medical record would be embarrassing or indicate risky behaviors. She made a quiet grunt, then said that Victoria's Secret would test the swimsuit to see how long it takes to dry and that wouldn't I say that I had to have been in the dressing room at least 15 minutes, a half hour, or more? I told her that I was not timing myself and did not know how long I was in the dressing room, but that surely the store's security cameras would reveal this as well.

She also argued with me when I told her that I called my doctor immediately after leaving the store but the receptionist told me that I would have to wait to make an appointment because if I contracted something that day, it would not show up in any test that they could conduct. The claims representative told me that this was not true and that anytime something like this happens, you should always go to the doctor right away no matter what. She then admitted that she is not a doctor, but said that what the receptionist told me makes no sense because the doctor would be able to know. She then said how invasive it is for doctors to find out whether I contracted something or not. (At this point, she was apparently still under the impression that I was young and unaware of how a woman gets tested for diseases.)

I must go see my doctor to make sure that I did not contract anything from the swim suit bottom. I will not know for at least two weeks. The emotional damage is terrible as I have to wonder if I have something. Victoria's Secret has added to this anguish by essentially accusing me of lying and refusing any responsibility.

I just opened up an angels card and it was my first time in the store. I purchased a pair of pants and there was no tag on them. The girl was so busy she didn’t mark it on the receipt, which is fine because I was not planning on returning them until I got home. I tried them on and did not like them. I went back to the store and another girl helped me. She told me that they wouldn’t sell something without a tag and she wouldn’t take the return back. I told her there was no tag on them when I bought them. Again, she told me they wouldn’t do that. She found the girl who originally helped me. She told her that she was too busy and forgot to retag the item.

So, she started the return with attitude because she was wrong. She was abrupt with asking for my I.D. and angels card and never said anything when the transaction was done. When I said thank you, she just handed me my receipt and walked away. I also work retail and know how it is when there are chronic returners and people doing shady things. But it was my second time in the store and I just opened up an angels card. She had no right to treat and embarrass me like she did. I’m mad about what happened and almost scared to go back into the store just in case I ever have an issue like this again. There are lots of girls who work there that were very nice to me. But this particular girl really made me mad acting the way she did.

I had a free panty CPN with 6-14-2010 expiration date. I was there at 6:45 pm last night on 6-14/2010 and there was a hand written note on the store front door saying they decided to close at 6 pm to prepare for an event starting the next day. Several girls were sitting on the floor near the door so I asked if I could use the CPN the next day as they were closed. Two to three of them rudely explained to me that they were closed and that I should have known that from flyers they sent out and they would not honor my CPN the following day. One gal said you should have gotten in here before 6 pm and would not let me explain that I had made a special trip to the mall for the panties. The last 2 times I got this card I bought the 5 for $25 and had planned to do this again. They were inappropriately rude and I very much hate to do business there again.

I make my payments online with most all of my accounts. I knew that my payment was due on my Victoria Secret card on June 11, so I went online to pay it. I then notice that there was going to be a $10 fee to pay the same day! Isn't this the point of online bill pay, to avoid late fees! So either way, I clicked on pay with and it directed me to a live chat to pay my bill. I had to try 4 times! Each person I was directed to simply said “How much do I want to pay?” I would respond I would like to pay the $10 minimum payment and the $10 same day fee.

They would say “How much would I like to pay?” I would write the same thing, I do, I tell them $20 and that’s my payment and the charge together? So after that, I tried to reach a live person on the phone, I went through every dang menu option for about 20 minutes before I finally got an option for a live person! They were closed at this point however. So, I tried called my local store, I was basically told, wow that’s frustrating but I can't help, you will probably get a late fee!

How am I supposed to pay my bill without a late fee? Seems to me like this whole system is setup to charge extra fees and make it impossible for someone trying to avoid a late fee hours of frustrating loops. The next day, I tried the phone again and closed my account paid off the balance with a $10 charge and was told I wouldn't be charged a late fee. I'll believe that when I see it. This is bad business, I have never had these sorts of problems and there is no one to direct my complaint to on top of that! When I asked I was told that I wasn't going unheard, but really?

This is a scam, a flat out scam that no one is paying attention to, like I said before I have lots of online accounts, even local companies and I can go online anytime of the day or night and pay my bill without a same day charge or a complete run around. This is a loop hole that this company is using to make more money! Someone needs to do something about this.

I can't even imagine how much they make each day with this fake $10 fee to do a same day transfer. If it cost an extra $10 to do a same day transfer every company would be doing it. Let’s put some laws and regulations in front of these people so they can stop being greedy money hungry corporate snakes. I don't normally care about this but this is not the first time I have had to deal with this stupid late fee/charge for same day payment with this card.

They are rude, blunt and when you ask to them to repeat something due to their low unhappy voice they become annoyed. They did not provide me with the confirmation number. I had to ask before he hung up. The $10 charge to pay over the phone is ridiculous. Every time I have called they are rude, short and sound very unhappy.

I worked with a very large company who trained their employees for 4 weeks and they had "secret callers" from the owners family members and friends. I am sure after a few calls Victoria Secret will be very unhappy if they used secret callers as well. No damage but will be closing account.

I have been a customer at Victoria Secret for many years. Two weeks ago, when I got to work, I went on the computer and there was the notification about my May statement was ready to viewed. I looked at it and then moved it under my file of bills to be paid like I do with every other bill I pay online. About 20 minutes after that I got a call at work, never at home, about my bill being two months past due. I was very upset because I am never late and I do not charge if I can't pay for it.

I was shocked that I was never notified before now but I was also shocked to find out that they turned it over to the credit company and now a bill that was original $31 which turned into $81 with late charges was going to sit on my credit report until the year 2017. I do not understand why they did not call me first. if they had looked back at my account, they would have seen that I have never been late. I firmly believe that this was done to get more money out of me. Why would I delete two statements two months in a row? I get things from them all the time and I read them. It also would say your statement is ready to be viewed so why would I delete it? Why couldn't they have called me at home first? Leave a message if I am not there.

I am very angry and think that people should be warned. I am more angry about the fact that this will sit on my credit report until the year 2017. If I didn't respond by e-mail, couldn't they had sent me a notice at home? I bought the items in February and to think that they would do this is very upsetting to me. It was $31 and I have never been late. I guess that doesn't count for anything with some people. My main question is shouldn't I have been notified somehow about this issue? Can they really do that to someone that fast? I want people to be informed of this so it doesn't happen to them. Thank you.

April 1-30 2010 Secret Reward Card promotion at Victoria's Secret online. Secret Reward Cards are rewards that were given throughout the month of March for every purchase made in store or online. They have a minimum of $10 on the card. Restrictions on the back say they are not valid on the purchase of "gift cards." The cards may be used online or in store from April 1-30, 2010. I pooled my Secret Reward Card promotion cards with friends to give to one who is graduating, surprised her daily with e-card attacks and they cancelled all of the orders (which were placed throughout April, not just towards the end of the program. It would have given them plenty of time to notify us and the recipient. They did neither) and are saying that now that the program is over we can't use them. Only one secret reward card was used per order as per the terms and conditions.

The card doesn't say "e-gift cards" or "e-cards" aren't valid, it only mentions "gift cards." We thought honestly this was okay since e-cards come with a big restriction, It can't be used in stores, online only and the way they are advertised on the site makes it seem as if they are not standard gift cards. The terms and conditions on the back of the card should have explicitly included the exclusion of e-cards, especially since the system accepted them and they were approved. The terms are extremely misleading.

They accepted our orders, just making it reinforce the fact that we thought it was cool and never got word that they would cancel. In fact, she not only received them, but activated all of them! VS went back and took all $270! It seems suspicious that they retroactively choose to take action when the program is over, cutting the consumer off from even being able to spend the value of the cards. They had plenty of time to provide notice and did not. Only when the recipient got in touch with me to notify me that weeks after she had received and activated the e-cards, were the funds completely drained.

What a waste of: money at the VS stores to get these. It really did work as an incentive; time spent doing this and talking to them on the phone and; energy. Damages of $270, minimum of which we know of, of reward cards. Countless hours spent on the phone speaking to Victoria's Secret leading to increased anxiety and worry after how the representatives were claiming we cheated, fraud, etc. This took a huge toll on me. I don't feel comfortable shopping with them and pretty much cringe at the idea of even attempting to restore my cards. Money spent on purchases (around $450-500) that came with the secret reward cards.

Nothing got resolved. And to make matters worse, some of us got reward cards that people were not going to use from a website (where she was giving it out to the first person, us) thinking it was okay since they hadn't been used. Wrong. Turns out they had been and it just made things look that much worse for us! It's okay to give your card away but we didn't realize it would EVEN allow multiple orders with the card to go through so we thought it would be first come, first serve. Every card we had through our purchases were totally valid. This has been the worst experience and I am totally filing a BBB complaint. Better to have it down than not.

The Angel Card, which is a store card for Victoria's Secret, continues to utilize the shady and now, as of February this year, illegal practice in billing for its customers. They do not allow a payment made online to post on the due date, even if you pay at 8 a.m. All payments must be made two days prior, according to their calculations, to remain free.

A same-day payment requires a $10 fee, which is misleadingly called "Electronic Payment Fee" on the bill. This is an outrageous practice. Even the worst banks used the cutoff of 12 p.m. in the past but would still allow the payment to be processed as of the same day. Law is law. If it says I can pay by a certain date, that's what it means.

I cannot be made to pay two days prior, as what is the due date for then? That is not bringing into the picture the Credit Act of 2009, which supposedly banned all such practices for all creditors and yet they continue. I would like my complaint to add to the list of others, so that some regulatory pressure is applied to the company. I have been charged several fees described above, which I wasn't even aware off without checking my bill closely. I am waiting on their response for my request to credit all the fees back.

In November 2009, I purchased two nightgowns at your store in Eugene, Oregon for $40 with my Victoria's Secret credit card. The clerk had to call to get my account number so that I could charge the items, because I didn't have my credit card with me.

When I hadn't received the bill the next month, I called customer service to find out why. The customer service representative wasn't much help. She stated that my bill came via email. Since I hadn't received it via email or any other way, I asked her for my account number, so that I could pay it on the Victoria's Secret website. She stated that she couldn't give me the number over the phone, but I could make a payment on the phone for an additional fee of $10. I didn't want to pay the additional fee, especially because the balance of the account was only $40.

Unhappy with the outcome of this conversation, I asked her to have her supervisor contact me. All I needed was an account number or a bill with the account number on it so that I could make my payment. The supervisor never called me.

My life is fairly busy. I'm a full-time student, I work part-time, and I'm a mother of three teens. I forgot about my bill. Last Saturday, January 30, their collections department contacted me by phone to let me know my account was past due. I tried to explain to her what had happened and that I needed my account number to rectify the situation. The only assistance she had to offer me was to charge me additional fees, so that I could pay the payment online.

I asked to speak with her supervisor in an effort to get this problem resolved, but that didn't do me any good. I tried to explain the situation to the supervisor, and she told me she wasn't going to debate who I spoke with or anything else with me. I asked to speak with her manager, and she told me she could not guarantee he would return my call. My response to that was not good. I was livid at this point. You can't guarantee your manager will return a customers call? Are you kidding? She hung up on me.

Because I never received a bill and my account number wasn't available to me over the phone, I think Victoria's Secret could have made some kind of effort to help me with this situation without charging me more money. (Maybe they could have sent me another bill when I called the first time to tell them I hadn't received one.) Instead, I paid their company $82 for a $40 purchase.

My credit history proves that I am a responsible debtor. Before this incident my FICO score was 761. This is because I take my credit score very seriously. Until this, I hadn't had a late payment in over 10 years. When I wrote to request they remove the 30-day late mark from my credit report, they declined, stating it wasn't their fault.

I was ready to check out when I showed the cashier my coupon for a free body scrub. The cashier (being the manager) had told me they no longer accept this coupon, because they no longer carry it and "a hacker hacked into Victoria’s Secret to make this coupon". She then told me that "this hacker" had sent out several emails with this coupon code for others to use.

I was a bit confused because I did not receive this in an email, and that I received it on the VictoriasSecret.com website. She argued with me, made faces, laughed, and even turned around to ignore me. I had only been talking with her for two minutes about the coupon, and really just wanted to know more information, not an argument. I went to the store mentioned above on 12/18/09 to return an item. I had my receipt in hand when I tried to return the item. I was informed by the store clerk that she needed my ID and she was going to scan it. I questioned her on it. I wanted to know why she needed my CDL as I had a receipt. She said that it is corporate procedure and that is the only way she would take the return. I told her I was uncomfortable with giving her my CDL to be scanned because it has a lot of personal information. She said she was not going to keep my information. I asked her where the information is going. At that point she called the manager.

The manager Fillie (Sp?) gave me the same song and dance about needing my CDL or she would not be able to accept my return. I reminded her that I have a receipt. She said it was corporate policy and that all VS stores do it. She also said it was for my protection. I asked her to explain that. She just responded by saying that it was for my protection. She was becoming annoyed with me and becoming hostile towards my questions but I persisted. I asked her where the information goes. She said she was not sure but she thought some company they hire to store the information. I asked her how safe was that. She said it was very safe. I asked if she was sure of that. She just rolled her eyes and said that VS would not do anything that was not safe.

I needed to return the item but told her I felt it was a big invasion of privacy to request such personal information from me to be scanned to a third party. Who knows what they are doing with all the information gathered?

First, I am extremely concerned that my information was scanned. I did not agree to this when I purchased the item at VS. If I knew that was their policy, I would have dropped the item and left the store immediately!

Second, I do not believe VS should be allowed to continue to get such personal information without the consent of the customer. Refusing to accept a return in order to get personal information is coercion at best and probably illegal. I do not consider that VS had my consent, but rather they forced me into relinquishing my ID and scanning it to a third party against my wishes as a condition to accept my return.

I feel I acted reasonable when I went to the store with an item to be returned because I had my receipt. They should not be scanning my very personal information to a third party as a condition to accept my return. Therefore, I am asking that this invasive policy and practice by VS be investigated asap. Thank you.
