As I live in Greece, I asked from them to send me my package via standard shipping which means USPS Air Mail. My previous orders came fine with USPS but this time, they used UPS which means having problems at the Greek customs. They asked me to pay $150 for taxes, etc. I contacted Victoria's Secret and told them that I didn't ask to deliver via courier and they claim that they only use courier for international shipping.

I had placed an order online at VictoriasSecret.com back in November. One of the promotions going on at the time was to send every customer a gift card w/ their order; mine was worth $10. So, I went online a few weeks later to use the $10 gift card I had received w/ my previous order. I placed the order and received a confirmation email. After a few days had gone by and I hadn't received a shipping notice email, I went on their website to check. Upon doing so, I discovered that the item I had ordered was discontinued and my $10 gift card was not re-credited. I wrote to VictoriasSecret.com customer service and explained to them the problem. It took them 2 days to reply to my problem and when they replied to the email all they said was "sorry that has happened to you.” The issue was not resolved, so I wrote them another email. I received a reply stating that the gift card I had used was not valid because it had already been used. I didn't use the card twice, so I wrote the company back again. They are choosing not to fix their mistake and blaming it on me. I am very upset w/ their service - to blame the customer for the business’ mistake.

I spoke with a woman who is supposed to be a supervisor. Back in late October, I told her I had problems keeping up with my bill. So she told me I was not to use my Victoria's Secret credit card for the next 6 months, that they will automatically charge my bank account $20 a month until my Victoria's Secret credit card was paid off. I gave her all the information and they charged my bank account one time, then cancelled payment after that. Today, December 9, 2009, I realize they were not doing what they had told me. So I called and had the runaround for about an hour and a half. I spoke with 10 different people.
I finally got fed up and asked for a Derrick who said he was a supervisor but was of no help at all. He told me that they can still set up $20 taken from my account but I will still be charged the monthly interest rate and late fees. I have proof of my phone calls to them and they should have proof of all my conversations with them because you are told at the beginning of a call that you are being recorded. I think what they have done is wrong. It's bad business practice! Shame on them!

When checking out at Victoria's Secret, I was asked if I would like an Angel Rewards card that would give me savings on future purchases. The girl checking me out said it would only take 30 seconds and she just needed a credit card and my social security number to verify my identity. This seemed a little extreme, but I figured it was worth it for the discounts and coupons. A week later, I got a letter in the mail saying I was turned down for a Victoria's Secret credit card for which I never applied. Upon looking at my credit report, I see that Victoria's Secret had made an inquiry thus negatively impacting my credit score. I already had a Victoria's Secret card years ago and I closed it in order to improve my credit score and, here, they tricked me into applying for another one.

On 12/5/09, I purchased a travel bag from the Pink Collection. The removable shoulder strap was missing on the bag. I inquired about it at the store and was advised to call customer relations (614 577-7111). I spoke to Sean who advised me that he only deals with online purchases and that this travel bag is not available online, only in the stores, so he was unable to thank me. I called again and spoke to Michele who advised me that yes that bag is available online and in stores. The previous person lied to me. Michele says she can’t help me since I purchased this item in store and she doesn’t know why the store in Altoona, PA would tell me to call the customer relations office because there is nothing they can do.
I then called the Altoona store and spoke to Tiffany. I explained the reason I was calling and asked if she could call other stores nearby and ask if they have a bag with a shoulder strap. Her response was “Yes, I could. But I wouldn’t know how to reach you”. I said, “You could ask for my name and phone #.” Then the next thing I know, Wendy is on the phone (the manager), and I have to repeat this once again. I advised when I purchased the bag that all I would need to do is call the customer relations and they would be able to assist me; they advised they could do nothing and didn’t know why I was referred there. Wendy calls 2 other stores for me and advises me the bag is not available at either store for me to purchase.
I have had to deal with several rude Victoria Secret employees who apparently do not care about their customer. I can purchase this bag on the internet for $68 + taxes and S&H. I paid $44.06 including taxes because I had coupons I used. So if I return this bag to the store and then turn around and order on the internet, I will no longer be getting the bag at $44.06, but I will be paying $68 + tax + S&H. I have spent quite a bit of money over the years at the stores and online, and I am just appalled at how I have been treated. I feel I should be able to purchase this bag online at the discounted price that I paid in the store. The coupons I had used in the store could have also been used for an online purchase. I have definitely changed my mind about Victoria Secret. This company treats the customer like they are bothering them. Whatever happened to customer service?

I have spent several thousand dollars with Victoria's Secret in the past 2 to 3 years. The people are rude on the phone and act like they are listening. Of every order I have placed with them (probably 15 in the past 2 to 3 years), they have been messed up. They will send wrong color, or forget something, or not apply my money off of free item or free shipping codes. Even though I have O.C.D and go over and over to make sure the totals, sizes, and colors are correct every time with them.
So, I have been overcharged several times and had paid off the amount and then there was nothing they could do about it. Then, when you call back to fix their mistake, they are rude and have no idea how to fix it or what you are talking about. I have gotten dirty, stained items. I shop online, in store, and over the phone. I guess if you plan on ordering over $200-$1,000 worth of stuff at once, they are so stupid they get confused. Gotta keep it simple with them. Then, I used my dad's Black American Express card and the order had been delayed for like a week after I had placed it, even though it is noted under my account I have used it before and went through the same problem every time with them having to talk to him even though AmEx approves it and knows. And it is noted under my Victoria's Secret account.
When I had called to see why I had not received my stuff, they said it was on hold and they had to speak with him. The supervisor on the phone I spoke with said, "Well, maybe you shouldn't use this card anymore since we always hold the order." I was speechless. I could not believe a company was telling a loyal customer to not use a Black card, or any card they had used and been approved for several times before not to use it to buy their stuff from them. After about 10 times, you think they would be a little more appreciative and not so rude. I haven't ordered since. I have probably been overcharged a few hundred dollars altogether with no proof from them, and no resolution.

I had been shopping on several occasions recently and left at home my free card for the underwear. I was told by two different Victoria's Secret employees to bring them the next time I shop. I informed them they would be expired and they then informed me that it would not be a problem. I attempted this and the manager would not honor the cards.
The other issue I have is that your underwear are not standing up the way they they used to. After several washings, they fall apart and get holes in them. I have always purchased your underwear but will not do so anymore. They are too costly for the quality. I am very unhappy with the product - maybe you have changed the quality or material that they have been made with.
On another note, there was an extremely helpful and courteous employee named Susan who assisted my daughter so I will possibly purchase other garments at your store.

I purchased several bras from Victoria's Secret and had to exchange one right away due to frayed looking seams that I knew wouldn't last long. The clerk asked if I had an ID, so I gave her my license which she put in a machine that extracted my information. I was annoyed they did this without permission and emailed them. They said it was to track people who return items, I guess, regardless of whether it's their product’s inferiority or something different. I decided to return the two after realizing the straps had very little room for adjustment and when I went I didn't have my ID. She said she couldn't give me cash back, but would put them back on my gift card; however, she couldn't do it without my license. The manager came and said the same thing. How is that even legal?
They didn't need my license when I bought them. The gift card was paid for with cash, and quite frankly at this point I'd rather have the money and buy bras at Kohl's where they don't treat you like a criminal and ask for your license information to exchange or return items for credit or cash. Is what they're doing legal? Why do they need my license to put credit back on a gift card? I am infuriated by this whole experience. They say it's on the back of their receipt - who reads the back of the receipt? If that is their policy, they need to put it on a big sign behind the cash register so people know when they buy something how they'll be treated if the product is inferior. Shouldn’t I be able to get cash back on a gift card if I can't find anything in their store that I want? Thank you for any help.

The sales clerk at Victoria's Secret inside the mall was quite deceiving in telling me about the "Angel" card. She asked for my social security number and before giving it to her, I asked why she needs it if this is only a card that would help me save money. The clerk stated that it was just for verification and assured me that the Angel card was not a credit card. However, to my dismay, this information showed up on my credit report. As a result of this deception by Victoria's Secret, I lost points on my credit report which I have been working very hard to bring up.

I have made some contacts using the form at www.VictoriasSecret.com. I asked a question about how many body lotions, body mist and others products I could buy. In fact, I asked if I could buy 200 products and make multiple orders with discount. Jennifer ** from customer service told me that I could make multiple bulk orders but without discount. So, I opened one account in victoriassecret.com and used my billing address and profile information from Brazil and my shipping address, I inserted 2 addresses that I have, one in Miami and other in New York. So, if I place an order, they were going to ship to one of my addresses in Miami or New York.
So, I placed two orders one about $231.xx and other about $409.xx using my AMEX card, and I stayed checking the site if my products were shipped. In one of the orders, it had the status saying that I was required to call them. So I did using my cell phone and spoke with the order department. He asked me some details to confirm and told me, okay we got your card authorization and that everything was fine. This means AMEX has accepted and authorized my purchase with my billing address correctly inserted of course.
After 1 hour, I received one call from customer service to verify some information they asked my name, address, shipping address and phone. I have confirmed everything and they asked me what the purpose of my order was. I told them that I was buying for my parents and some friends that don’t have an address in the USA to buy directly. She told me that she was going to ask her supervisor because that was not one little order. I said okay and after 5 minutes, she returned to the phone and told me her supervisor has authorized the order to be shipped.
After sometime, I went to my account in Victoria’s Secrets and my 2 orders were cancelled. I sent one email about the payment I made for both orders, they just told me that some information about my billing address, credit card information or my shipping address was not successfully verified, but the question is how did they get authorization from my AMEX card. I think this is discrimination because Victoria’s Secrets does not want Brazilians to buy their products and what about my money that I still didn’t get.
Lost time, the products were for a party that I was about to do and it was a big party where I was going to give gifts, so what now? And the time to receive my money back will make me pay fees to AMEX that was not my fault.

While walking through the Mall of Georgia on Thursday, June 25, 2009 with my dad and my 3 children, we passed by Victoria’s Secret and I became absolutely appalled to see larger than life posters of women in skimpy bra and panties in both the display windows! I was especially disturbed because of my two younger children (8 and 12) are boys! Who says I want them to see women in their under garments? It is so unfair to parents who are struggling already to keep our kids as pure as possible in this un-pure, anything goes world!
If there was a female actually walking through the mall dressed only in her bra and panties, she would be approached by the proper authorities - I'm sure! So what is the difference? If it is a movie in question, we are warned with ratings. But in a public mall for all ages, we are bombarded with near ** without warning and before we can blink, the impression is made upon our children. Victoria’s Secret must fix this situation. We already know what you sell: this type of display is unnecessary. Consider the children and make your display windows more family appropriate.

I purchased $88.22 worth of merchandise at 10:25AM. After getting everything home, I discovered that the bronze body lotion I purchased was actually a tester. When I took it back to exchange it, I was informed that unless I give my driver's license to be swiped through a machine, I would not be allowed to exchange the merchandise. This is blackmail, I had the receipt with me. It was purchased this morning. I objected and was told if I did not give her the license, they would not exchange the tester for the real product. This is how identify theft occurs. I will never shop at Victoria's Secret again. It should be illegal to ask this information when you have a receipt with you.

Victoria's Secret advertised their semi-annual sale and were promoting 10 pairs of cotton panties for $25. I have been a fan of the semi-annual sale as well as a regular customer since I was in high school, 15 years ago. I went to my closest location, 20 miles away, on a Saturday morning and found the store was completely wiped out of the most common sizes, medium through X-Large. I was told I could sift through the cotton panties that had been discounted for the semi-annual sale, which were a total mess. Even though there were bins clearly marked with the sizes they should contain, none of the sizes were in the correct bins. As I searched for any style of medium and X-Large panties, I noticed these were picked over so badly that the few styles that were left were very plentiful. Did this promotion (10 for $25) sneak up on this store so quickly that they could not prepare it?
Anyway, I took advantage of the sale by settling for styles that I was not particularly fond of. Being that I have only worn a particular 2 styles in the cotton panties, that were apparently long gone, I knew I would wear these not-so-favorites but they were obviously not my first choice. I also purchased some of the Beauty Rush products that had a sale sign that stated,” get one free" and then, "purchase 2 for $12" and "6 for $30". I took this sign to mean a total of 3 products would cost only $12 and a total of 7 products would cost $30. Nope! After my cashier took nearly 10 minutes flipping through her coupon code book on the side of her computer screen, she finally asked another employee about the Beauty Rush promotion and found out that the "Get one free" only applied to the purchase of 6. Do you think she would have been a little familiar with these promotions?
Well, after clearing that up, I asked the cashier to redeem a coupon I had received in the mail for a free cotton panty and $10 off a bra purchase. She advised me that because their supply of cotton panties were so depleted, I should wait a few weeks to redeem the coupon. Needless to say, I understood. So, putting the bra I had chosen back in the drawer myself, I paid about $50 for my 10 cotton panties, 2 other pair of "Body" panties that were marked down, and my 2 Beauty Rush products. Very seldom do I ever leave the store with so much for less than $100!
Well, after one wash of the cotton panties that I haven't even worn yet, the fabric is becoming detached from the elastic band in several spots around the panties. It's not unraveling thread all the way around, but just unraveling in certain places causing holes around the elastic band. This has happened to 6 of my 10 pair. I have always washed all of my panties, all from Victoria's Secret, on the gentle cycle in my washer and allow them to air dry and I have never had a problem like this.
I am assuming one of two things contributed to this problem: the styles I chose were not manufactured in the same manner as my 2 preferred styles, causing these to be even more delicate and needing even more care when washing, or Victoria's Secret companies are feeling an economic hardship as is most of the U.S. and cutting back on the quality of their products to save money.
I will not be redeeming my coupon for a free cotton panty and $10 off a bra purchase. It has since expired, I believe. I feel like I was lead to believe I was, in a sense, being rewarded for being a loyal customer for 15 years but now feel that Victoria's Secret was just trying to make a buck instead of a fair exchange of money for a great product. I was ripped off.

There was a promotion for free underwear at Victoria's Secret if you became a fan of them on Facebook. In small letters on the coupon, it said only underwear in bold colors, black, white, nude or pink only, no lace, etc. So we were like, "Okay, fair enough." The lady working there was watching us and my mom picked up this cute underwear with some lace on it because she was going to buy it anyways and from behind the lady working there goes, "No. The coupon doesn't let you buy it. Only solid colors, no lace, black, white, pink, white or nude only!" She said it with such an attitude, we didn't even want to buy anything after that. We just wanted to get out of the store.

I started shopping at Victoria's Secret about a year ago and was really glad I could find some decent garments of decent quality that fit properly for once. It's been ** ever since. Not only have every one of them broke within a couple months (or less) time, but being a card holder, I have to deal with them more than wanted. Two months ago, I made a purchase on my VS card and after it got declined since I hadn't used it in a few months, I wasn't sure if my package was going to be shipped on time so I gave them my other card over the phone instead to make sure my order got through on time for a wedding. Well, the lady charged both cards and sent me two packages. When I received both, I was confused until I realized what had happened. I called them up and they told me to slap the label on it and check the box that said I had been double packaged so that they wouldn’t charge me shipping on the return. I did so and worried not for a little over a month when I had to make an exchange since one of the bras that I bought had already broken. I decided to purchase another one while I was there and when I went home to pay my balance on my card, it said I owed them money and it had interest built on it already from the shipping they charged to me on my return of the second box I got. I figured, just call customer service and explain what happened, then no problem.
Well, not so much. After fighting with their monotone teleprompt for a half hour, I reached a representative and she transferred me to customer service, then they transferred me to the card people, then they transferred me to customer service, then they transferred me to the card people, and then they transferred me to customer service, each time giving everyone all of my personal information over and over and, well, you get the gist. Finally, I just asked for a supervisor which is when I talked to Ruth Ann who was the nicest person I had talked to the entire time. She told me she got everything straightened up and the finance fees were waived. Well, I went back to pay off my card balance again last night around 8:20 and the charge was still there on my balance. I called up customer service again, and after once again fighting with the monotone teleprompt lady for what seemed like forever and having it hang up on me several times, finally, I got through and it told me to call back during normal business hours which were Monday-Saturday from 8 am - 9 pm. Well, it was Saturday, at 8:30 so where's the customer service? Just to try and talk to an actual person, I called up the store pretending to buy something just so that they would let me talk to someone and of course I got an answer right away, and when I asked for a supervisor, they hung up on me. I am so fed up with them. I'm ready to drive to Ohio and bang on someone’s door. This is unprofessional, unacceptable, and straight up ridiculous over $6. And until that’s cleared up, I can't pay my current balance off because it’s just going to pay off the previous charges first which would clear away the listing of the $6. They have the worst customer service ever. This has given me such a migraine.

I went in the store with my 10 for $25 panties coupon. I drove 20 minutes to their store with my 30 year old daughter. The sales clerk at the entrance to the store was talking to a female about whatever. My daughter and I waited to ask where the panties on the coupon located were. She stated they were sold out but we could still get 30% off any item. My daughter was just going to get a bra instead.
So we went to back of store in direction of bras. I stated to my daughter I wasn't going to get my other daughter the treat/underwear because I intended to only spend $25 not $35 and I felt that wasn't a deal. I buy their bras for myself and buy for Xmas and birthdays, a gift card for my daughters every year. I'm 54 years old.
The sales clerk to the back, I later found out here name was Elizabeth, working on June 1st 2009 at 6:30 pm. I ask here were all the panties on this coupon sold out for sure and she stated same thing as other clerk and, of course, I ask if they was going to give a rain check. She gave me the same response as the other sales clerk. I said, “Well that's just wrong.” She replied, "Well, that's really not my problem," and walked away.
I have never had a sales clerk ever say anything even close to that to me. My daughter and I both work in customer service and would never think of saying such a thing. I waited around store while my daughter picked out her bra and to find out the girls name. I hope the clerk/cashier gave me the right name. No name tag, which is poor customer services to begin with. I honestly believe I will not shop again at this store. There are a lot of places to buy bras for this price and not take the abuse. I sure hope she's not going to school for a business degree. I want to make clear in never raised my voice, cursed, or pointed my finger or anything to this individual.

I have been a customer of Victoria’s Secret (VSC) for over 12 years. Over this time frame, their flexible return policy has been consistent. If you don't like something, you can return it and receive credit back to your card, or merchandise credit if after 90 days from the date of purchase. There was no additional stipulation, nor is there a comment that they reserve the right to deny a return in the catalog or online. In December, I returned approximately $600 of merchandise from three separate orders. VSC accepted some of the items and sent the remaining items back to me with a letter stating the remaining items were excessively worn or laundered.
I immediately contacted them to advise them that they were certain items that were washed once prior to returning as I had done with every other return. They apologized, acknowledged that they should've accepted it, and gave me the address to return it again. I sent the items as directed. For the second time, they accepted a couple of items and returned the rest to me. This company is falsely advertising their return policy. Because I was not advised of the policy that they are now standing behind, I am left with merchandise that I cannot wear that I'm being forced to pay for.

I was about to visit New York and decided to purchase a few merchandise from Victoria's Secret online so that they would be delivered to me when I'm there. Some of these items were mine and others were for family and friends. I got an email asking me to verify certain information; i.e. credit card details, order number... etc, which I totally understood and appreciated at the same time. But when I called, it was a totally different story. After verifying my information, I was asked who I was buying these items for, which I answered truthfully. I was told that they would not process my orders since they were more than one and that they reviewed my history and that the current orders met criteria that indicated it may be intended for commercial or non-personal use. This was a false accusation and really frustrating and in addition to speaking to the employee in charge for almost a 45-minute international call.
The employee was really rude and kept repeating that they have the right not to process any order they feel is not correct or suspicious. Again false accusations! I don't know since when has it become a right for a company/store not to approve certain purchases made by customers. It's like going into a store and the sales people refuse to serve me or sell me merchandise. The other thing is, when I sorted out the orders and asked her to process the ones that were personally mine, she told me, “Here is what you did, I believe you just got the orders that include Medium size and saying they are yours. And again we will not process these orders since they are worth thousands of dollars and are not of the same pattern used in previous orders.” She also suggested that I could go to a New York store and buy from there as they might have a different policy. What is that? I was taking into consideration that most items that are available online are not available in stores.
She also asked me, “Why did you place more than one order and not just one?” and I told her that you have a special offer online, which I decided to use. And her answer was, “It is our fault having offers online for people to use.” I haven't seen such rudeness before! It's true, the value of my purchases were thousands of dollars, but that's something for the bank to decide whether to authorize or not, and definitely not her. And so what if I want to spend thousands of dollars on anything; this is my decision to make, not theirs. I was really shocked since this is not the first time for me to order online at Victoria's secret, but this will be the last. No customer should be treated this way under any circumstances. At the end of the day I am paying for what I want so I deserve to get what I want.

My name is Tanya ** and I am a frequent customer at Victoria's Secret stores and online. However, on April 10, 2009, I was treated as if I was not worthy to even be in the store. I have a VIP Angels Card and buy a lot of merchandise anytime I am at the store. On Friday, the associates (including the store's manager) at the Cordova Mall location in Pensacola, FL were so rude and disrespectful to my friend and I that I was in a complete shock.
It first started when we walked in the store and asked for the assistance from one of the associates. This associate completely ignored my question, and when she decided to stop and answer it, she said that the lingerie I was looking for was sold out and walked away. She did not ask me if she can help me to find something similar to the product I was looking for, nor did she ask me if I wanted her to check other stores for that product.
I decided to shop at the store even though I was treated with disrespect. None of the associates came to my assistance. And when I picked a couple of items to try on, the girl who was working at the fitting rooms completely avoided me and let customers after me into the fitting room. I am not trying to sound as if I am better than someone else, but I expect good customer service from places where I spent my money, especially in the economy like this. Nevertheless, I waited for over 10 minutes for the next available fitting room. When I was directed to the open room, an associate did not ask me if I needed help.
Even though I was treated once again with disrespect, I bought the items I've tried on. However, the cashier not only threw my lingerie on the floor, but also dropped them in the oversize bag and placed a receipt inside the bag. No “Thank you for shopping with us”, or anything like that. I left your store very disappointed.
After shopping at the mall for a couple of minutes, I decided to look at my purchase from VS. The bra that I bought was a wrong size, and I went back to the store to return it. However, a cashier told me that I could not return the items I just bought; she did not give me a reason why. I have experience with working in retail, and I know that if I have a receipt, tags attached, and returned within at least 30 days, I am able to do the return. I politely explained that to her, and after calling her manager, I received my money back.
I spend quite a lot of money at Victoria Secret, and I do not appreciate being treated like I was. I hope that the associates at that store will be notified because if they continue on providing this customer service, they will lose many customers. I am a college student, and many of my friends shop with me at VS; but after being treated like I was, we are thinking of shopping somewhere else or at least in a different store location. Like I stated earlier, the associates at Cordova Mall in Pensacola, FL are very rude, disrespectful and are poorly trained. Thank you.

I took a shopping trip to the Fox Valley Mall the middle of Dec. with my daughter-in-law. The trip for us is over 100 miles one way. We purchased a lot and only until we got home did we realize that the PJ bottoms had an ink tab on them. Fortunately, I was going to the Wausau Mall the following weekend, so I could have the ink tab removed then. Now, the Wausau Mall is a 50 mile trip one way. After waiting in line to check out for approx. 30 minutes I presented the PJ's with the ink tab still on and was treated rudely. They have no ink tab remover so I was out of luck. How are you supposed to wear PJ's with an ink tab on them? And further more, why didn't an alarm go off when we left the store? I am in a professional business and if I treated my customers the way I was I would no longer be in business.
If you don't have an ink tab remover, at least be somewhat helpful to the customer. I preceded to place my other articles down and walk out before I made a scene. Why does it have to be that way? I did get the ink tab off at another store in the mall. They were extremely helpful and apologized for Victoria's Secret attitude (a store that had nothing to do with them). I am hoping someone has some sort of explanation for this. I used to enjoy ordering and shopping from V.C. Please respond. Thank you.

We were just making chit-chat, and before I knew it, I was following her around the place while she had her back to me while she re-organized shelves and etc, which I thought was extremely rude. And then at the checkout counter, I encountered her again, and she tried to charge me $27 instead of $20, because the bra I picked didn't have a price tag on it. I had brought her a similar bra in black and the price was $20.
Basically, I've never had a good shopping experience there. Never positive, only negative or neutral.

I asked one of the girls when I was in there the other day what her name was. I only got the first name, Debbie. She is very rude & not very nice to her customers either. She belongs in Kmart not VS.

The man there said I could only complain about the products or in the store service. So, who do you complain to about the World Financial Network National Bank that is running the credit card? Being directed to Customer Service at the same Credit Card with the bad service only gets you hours on the phone being misdirected, hung up on, being told your last 4 digits of your social security number aren't yours and being told you are LYING by the confrontational Outsourced representatives in India who would rather defend that they are right to the death than actually provide good customer service and fix any mistakes, or actaully direct you to the proper person who will.
Who do you complain to about them? According to the Victorias Secret Complaint Line, you should complain to the Bank about the Bank! So, exactly who is going to do something about that complaint? No one! Because someone at the actual Victorias Secret Store in Ohio needs to be available to take that complaint that the Bank and the Outsourcing are terrible enough for a person to want to cancel their card and stop shopping there. That isn't even an option on the mechanical recording one gets when you try to cancel your card. Bad Service!
Fees that shouldn't have been there.

This store has serious personnel issues. While I am generally treated very well or at least appropriately at other locations, I have consistently been treated poorly at the Superstition Springs Mall location in Mesa, Arizona. Sunday 9/15/2008 was no exception. I went into this store with my niece poised to put several hundred dollars on my Angels Charge Card and was completely ignored by staff. I stayed almost 20 minutes, not one of these young ladies bothered to come out from behind the counter. No one approached me. In fact, not one employee even bothered to come out to the floor.
Instead, they were all behind the counter chit chatting except for the two who were just leaning against the counter looking bored. I attempted to get assistance with the makeup counter, with all good intentions of buying a whole new collection of makeup for myself and a second for my niece. I was obviously frustrated by my inability to find what I need but couldn't get anyone to acknowledge or assist me although one of the girls who appeared obviously bored was watching me off and on, she would look away anytime I would attempt to get her assistance.
After being ignored for a grand total of nearly 30 minutes of this treatment, which I've come to expect from this location, I decided to take my money elsewhere and spent several hundred dollars with one of their competitors instead, where I was treated very nicely and will absolutely be shopping again.

I had the same day receipt. I asked her if we could do all this over the phone ( people place phone orders all the time! Scam?) since I live so far away. She laughed at me and said I was trying to scam her. I let her know I like the product, I just want to pay what the tag said (reg. price $22.50 sale $9.99) I asked who her higher up was and she said there was no higher up than her.
I hung up, after the last 3 weeks spending over $350.00 there, I was not treated nice and was treated instantly like I was trying to scam her. There was nothing resolved except for hurt feelings. I was nice and very polite and she was rude and not professional at all. I would like to see her fired. I love that store, but I'm not spending my money there anymore to pay her wages.

Typically every year my mother in law buys me and my husbands cousins gift cards to Victoria Secret. What a great gift... Well, this year it turned very sour. In Dec 07 my mother in law purchased these cards from a store in Illinois, St. Clair Square in Fairview Heights to be exact. Just yesterday I went to use my card to make an online purchase. I live in Burbank Ca, and now is the time to pick up swim suits at a great deal on line. Well, when I used my card, the card was not recognized... Hmm...
When I called customer service on the back of the card, I was told the card had been used in the same store it was purchased in and the card was redeemed on June 9th 08. I explained to the man that I was not in that town at the time, my card had never been out of my hands and it had never even been removed from the glued backing of the gift card packaging. So how is this possible... Well, this is clearly a case of INTERNAL GIFT CARD FRAUD!!!!
I called my husbands cousin and she had the same problem with her gift card. What I'm most disappointed about is that when I called the store for their DISTRICT MANAGER'S contact info I was told they can not give that out. I'm actually a retail DISTRICT MANAGER and I know quite well if there is an upset customer demanding the number you can give it out. My intentions at that point were to be good retail partners and alert this DM that he may have a case of internal theft going on.
The customer service dept tells me it may take up to 6 weeks to resolve my dispute on this gift card. So let me ask you this- Is this company that big that they have enough customers to survive sales and allow one unhappy customer to wait 6 WEEKS??!!! Please!!!!!!! I work retail, get it together Victoria Secret! Not only was it my card, my husband's cousin as well.
I have such a bad taste in my mouth that I was not treated with more respect. Customer concerns are to be treated with the highest level of priority. That's how one builds satisfied loyal shoppers. I must say I'm disgusted by what has happened and the results of the time frame I have to wait. I will not longer shop at Victoria Secret. They have just proven to me that they are too big and too busy to care about the consumers that put them there... Sad...

The customer service rep asked if I wanted to receive it electronically and asked if I wanted a free credit report...I said sure. I had no balance on this account after this. I have never...received any online billing on this account. A few months later I received a phone call saying I was past due.
I had not used the card. The representative said the charge was insurance on the account that I agreed to. I've been buying V.S. bras and panties for years. My favorite collection has been the Second Skin Satin collection (now only available on line). It seems over the years that the quality has gone down hill. I know that the wash instructions say to hand wash and drip dry. BUT FOR YEARS I've been able to throw them in a lingerie bag, wash, and even throw them in the dryer and they've stood the test. Until recently, they can no longer handle the dryer. I've found that after a few washes (like 3) in a lingerie bag, and laying flat to dry, doesn't hold either.
My bras are losing the elasticity on the band and coming apart! I know what the label says and I know what I've been doing for years - as do many other ladies...the quality is just not the same. For the money I'm paying, I would think these bras should last a few washings in a lingerie bag and air dry...they are not handling this well. Anyone else having this trouble? I've since switched to the Leggs, Hanes, and Bali stores in the malls as V.S. has become too expensive for the quality I've been receiving lately.

This is just another situation that confirms how poorly a Million dollar company trains it's Managers. My daughter has worked for VS for two months this summer and she is constantly telling me stories about how employees are dissatisfied with their job (my only conclusion is that they're there for the discount)I'm confused as to why they schedule workers 2 or 4 hours a day here and there, and have 5 managers at this store all who DO NOT communicate with each other.
This recent incident put me over the top. My daughter was scheduled to work and when she arrived the Manager called her behind the register and told her that her shoes were not in uniform code(keep in mind she has been working there for 2 months). She asked my daughter, Would you wear those to a wedding? Huh? Are you kidding me?!! What does that have to do with anything? Her opinion is Gospel? None the less, my daughter was just about to suggest walking over to a store in the Mall and picking up a proper work shoe when she decided to just send her home.
As she's checking my daughters purse before she leaves she says with a Big Smile HAVE A GREAT DAY! Oh, I'm sure she will having drove all that way to work that provides for her spending money when she's away to school. If anything ,she has learned how the retail world operates, and just because you make Manager doesn't mean you're competent.

I ordered several hundred dollars worth of clothes from their on-line catalog. The clothes, when they finally arrived (well after I had completely forgotten ordering them!) were all the wrong size (too small, not what I ordered!) & also made of very cheap materials.
I went back to the online catalog to check & sure enough, two or three of the pieces of clothing that I bought were advertised as being made of cotton or silk (I cannot wear synthetic materials, so I am always very careful about ordering!)but they came to me made out of cheap synthetics & sewn together very poorly, with exposed seams. Very disappointing! I have never & will never order anything from them again.
I returned the poorly made items with a concisely written complaint stating that I was embarrassed that an American company was selling products so obviously made in third world countries; it took over six months to see a credit on my statement, and I don't believe I was ever fully credited for the amount that I had spent, but it took so long I lost track, which I'm sure is their idea.

She gave my address and phone number at the time because she was in the middle of moving and did not know her new address. Since then we have received a statement each month with charges appearing for services she never received. Each month now there is a late payment fee of $20. The balance is now $143.73
I have called the company and they removed some of the charges and closed the account. But each month we still get the statement and the balance is going up each month with late payment fee and interest at 22%. The company World Financial Bank harrasses me every month with several calls to my home and cell phone numbers. They will not remove these charges. I think their charges are fraudulent and their phone calls are illegal. Do we have any legal way of resolving this matter?
Presumably this is damaging my daughters credit rating. We do not wish to pay for something we have not had.

Hello, I recently attempted to return a bra to Victoria Secret in Paramus, NJ - orig. receipt, not used, tags attached, although I knew the purchase was 6 months ago. The associate looked over the receipt and then asked for my drivers license. She proceeded to enter in all the information from my license for the next 5 minutes. Out came a report from their parent co. (Limited Brands)agency, TRE (Return Activity Report, Irvine CA).
First parag. listed a date problem. On the second paragraph it stated this decision is also based in part on return info provided by this report. I was given a 1 day exchange option - which was fine. I am not a frequent shopper of any of their brands. But I asked the manager why, if I was over the time frame did then I need to give all the info over from my license? The manager said for all returns now, they're asking for licenses.
I then spoke to a consumer rep from the FTC and they said that this practice on returns will become more and more prevalent on regular returns at retailers because people have been taken advantage of the system. TRE has no website, and has a recorded message on my return report. My main question: with everything happening now against identity theft, where is the protection to consumers when on a regular return (as predicted going forward), you'll be asked to give licenses that include name, addr and DOBirth? Did they not hear about the TJ Maxx hackers massive identity theft problem? It seems this apparently growing retail policy is going against the grain of consumer identity protection. I'd appreciate your input. Thank you.

On June 25th at about 11:15 a.m., I went into Victoria Secret to purchase two bras. An employee gave me the items I requested. When I arrived at the counter to pay for the merchandise, the sales clerk looked perplexed, and sought the assistance of another employee. She then came back to continue to ring up the purchases. I asked her if there were a problem, and she said no. She took my credit card, swiped it, and as I began to sign the credit card receipt, I noticed that the ticket price on the items were not the same prices charged to my credit card. The 2 items were marked $49.50 each, but my credit card reflected $100.
I asked why I was charged .50 more per item than the ticket price indicated. She told me the items were marked incorrectly, and should have been $50 apiece, instead of $49.50 apiece as they were marked. I told her that was not my responsibility. I said, as a consumer, I should only pay what the ticket price indicates. She seemed befuddled, and didn't know what to do. Then Ms. Melisa, whom she had spoken to previously, came over to explain that the items had been improperly ticketed, and that they should have been priced at $50. I again said that was not my problem, and that I would only pay the price that was on the ticket. And that she should give me a credit for the items. I suggested it might be easier to start the transaction again.
She said she would void the items, but that I could not have a receipt. I told her that was preposterous! I tried to explain to her that since my credit card had been swiped, this meant a transaction had occurred. I explained that I needed some kind of receipt to prove I never received the items, and that the transaction was voided. She said it is not the policy of Victoria Secret to give any kind of receipt for items that have been voided.
I then asked her how does won prove they never received the merchandise. She said,I'm voiding the purchase, that's enough. I told her I understood what she was saying, but that I wanted something in hand to prove that I did not purchase the items. I tried to explain to her that computers and make mistakes, or crash, and if that happens it may not record the items as having been voided. I told her everywhere I've shopped, I'm given some kind of receipt. Her response was, If these places do give these so called receipts, I've nerver heard of that.
It was then I told her, Melisa, that I was not leaving the store until she xeroxed the void receipt for me. She reluctantly did so. But it took almost 15 minutes for her to return. I called Victoria Secret's cumtomer service. I spoke with a representative who said it is not their polic to give receipts for transactions that are marked as voided. Again, I tried to explain that once a credit card is swiped, a transaction has occurred, and that the customer needs something in writing to prove he/she never received the merchandise. I tried to explain to the rep., that if the purchase was a cash transaction that would make sense. The customer would get the money back, and it's as if nothing transpired. But, once the credit card is swiped, a transaction has occurred. She called me a couple of time to find out more about what had transpired.
After speaking with the customer rep. several times, on July 5th, I receive a letter of apology, and a $25 gift card as a way of acknowledging that the manner in which I was treated, is not standard operating procedure for Victoria Secret. The letter stated they were sorry I was treated in this manner, and that they hoped the $25 gift card would make amends. I am most grateful for the letter, and I accept the $25 gift card because we all make mistakes. However, I don't want other consumers to be treated in this manner. So, I'm hoping you can speak with Victoria Secret corporate headquarters to ensure that these policies do not continue. Thank you.

When I placed in online order to Victoria's Secret in December of 2005 There was a link in the order which somehow gave you a trial membershipwith a travel company by the name of Victoria's Escapes. Apparently if you did not cancel after the trial period you were charged $99.95 for an annual membership in 2006, then in 2007 that fee increased to $109.95. Because I always seem to be carrying a balance on my Angel Card (a practice I am sure the retailer counts on for this type of fraud) I didn't notice the charges until 2008 when I started paying down my bill. I called Victorias Secret because I felt they were responsible for letting an unauthorized 3rd party charge my account but they sent me to Victoria's Escape.
At that time Victorias Escapes stated they would only remove the most recent $109.95 as the other charges were past. I asked them at that time if they had any record of my using my so called membershipand they stated no the membership had not been used but they would not remove the charges. I have patiently waited to pay my VS Angel card down to an amount that equals the 99.95 and 109.95 (209.95) so that I can formally dispute the charges and not pay the existing balance.
If the card were MC or AX it would be considered fraud and the charges would be investigated. Why is World Financial Bank which handles the card exempt from the same practices as other charge cards? Charges and finance charges totaling over $210.00

I took the bra to the Knoxville West Town Mall and the sales girl at the register, after a series of questions, told me without a receipt she could not exchange it.
I asked to speak to the Mgr. The Mgr was actually snotty about the situation (maybe reacting to my attitude), but she pointed to paper at the register and said that it was company policy that all returns must have the tags and a receipt. I was only wanting to exchange and she still said that I needed the tags attached and a receipt. This particular bra is not a discontinued item it is still available on their racks. VS does not stand behind their products. This bra is clearly a poor workmanship/quality and they will not let me make an exchange?

First off prior to this issue i loved Victoria's Secret, and their credit card was by far my favorite one. I have had it for over a year and had no complaints previously. I am only 19 and my credit score is already in the 700's so this concerns me and I do not want to be charged for financing charges which are also ridiculously high 22.8%! However, I can thank VS for my good credit score because I shopped their every month practically and paid my bills promptly as I do all my credit cards.
About 2 months ago I opened up my VS bill and knew it would only be about $40 because I purchased a swim suit online. I was shocked to see a balance of over $200! There was a charge of $193 made in VA!! I LIVE IN WI! I called customer service thinking it was identity theft and it turns out a credit card was not even used in the purchase/ VA Store, and it was NOT identity theft. I was informed that a customer came into the VA store and asked the cashier to look up their account and over the secure credit line the cashier got that customer's account number and SIMPLY ENTERED IT WRONG and just my luck it got charged to MY ACCOUNT!
THIS IS RIDICULOUS because the cashier must enter the account number twice and verify their information by asking for a driver's license AND the customer has to sign electronically and under the signature line is the first and last name of the person's account which happened to be MY ACCOUNT, so that customer KNEW they were getting away with not paying for their $193 purchase and that someone else was! It just shows VS employees are incomepeent and not revieved well enough before hired or maybe the training program is slacking.
I was extrememly mad about this situation but tried to stay calm but with finals around the corner I did not need more stress in my life! I can't even remember how many numbers I had to call, how many times I got transferred it was a mess! The part I was mad about what THEY COULD NOT JUST TAKE IT OFF MY ACCOUNT I HAD TO WRITE A LETTER DISPUTING IT! Last time I checked this issue is not even close to being my fault so now I have to waste my time?
So I wrote the stupid letter and mailed it in thinking once they get it then the charge will be taken off MY Account. I get a letter saying it will take 60 days! I got through to Lee E. the district manager who called me first and I did not return her call the same day because she called while I was in class.. I called her back and left her two voice messages she did not get back to me for 2 weeks so I called and left her a voice message at her office mailbox. THEN she called me back and apologized and was VERY sincere and nice and was sorry she had not called me because she was in conferences. She said she would send me a 30% off coupon which came in the mail shortly ha what a joke only 30% for what I went through! She also said she would speed up the process but I opened up my most recent bill and the charge is still on there!
Every time I will get my bill this will stress me out knowing I have a somewhat high balance on my account that I don't need to pay but yet it won't go away! So I called up Lee again and she got back to me very promptly and said she had contacted whoever it was to try and get that charge removed off my account. I have no problem with her, she is been the best she can be and I realize she has no control over the credit card part of victoria's secret. This is just crazy how this unfortunately happened to me and I AM BEING PUNISHED and i am a valued customer, I spend all my money at VS! NOT ANYMORE!
I informed her as soon as I pay what I owe I am canceling and never shopping there again! Plus with financing charges that high if i really wanna shop their I can use cash or open up an entirely diff. credit card with normal interest rates. DON'T trust VS because if their silly error can even happen it WILL happen to someone else! I believe for how much I spend at that store more action should have been taken NOT 60 days later!
I was told this would not hurt my credit score but I am sure even if they take off the $193 charge I am still being charged for interest!! AND credit card companies are probably looking at my account seeing i have a large balance that is not being paid off, and I am known for paying off all my bills promptly as soon as I receive them, so this is really hurting me for no reason! I am ready to complain to the business bureau!
I am not complaining about Lee the district manager, if anything I would be complaining about the incompetent cashier that created this problem AND whoever is in charge of the credit card because 60 days is outrageous! Lee has done everything she can I hope to think and she has been very nice about the situation.

This firm has harassed my wife for at least three months making 2 to 5 calls per day regarding a collection for Victoria Secret (TX). Victoria Secret sold a trial for a service that they alleged could be cancelled w/o cost. This is a bogus program to bill monthly and add late fees despite attempting to cancel by phone and by mail. This collection agency (misrepresenting themselves as a bank) call in the morning and evening and on week ends. My wife is presently suffering from Crohn's Disease and the annoyance perpetrated has exacerbated the symptoms. I currently own 7 Very **** Victoria's Secret Bras as well as approx 30 pair of underwear and have NEVER had a problem with any of them, all have been washed numerous times. I was floored that they would not replace this considering I purchased it only a week ago. I don't want my money back, I just want a bra that is wearable. With the economy in the shape it's in I'm appalled that anyone treats their customers this way, expecially loyal ones. The price of this bra was $48.00.

They send out a flier explaining that you have to call to cancel the membership and sure enough they charged me for renewing the membership and I would have no way of knowing but the credit card company called to ask why I hadn't paid the bill. This is a very shady way of doing business. Normally I just throw this kind of mail in the trash immediately without reading it as I'm sure others do so there are probably a ton of customers out there who were charged without their knowledge.
I called customer service and I will be refunded in two days. This is so annoying. We have enough going in our lives that we shouldn't have to call to avoid being charged for something we didn't sign up for.

I called in December 2007 to my Victoria's secret customer service. The representative offer me the identity protector service that I refused at the beginning and she told me she was going to mail me the information about it and then I will sign for it. I never received any information. On my January statement, there was a charge of $12.99 made on 01/12/08. I receive my statement probably on the 12th of February, if not later. As soon as I saw my statement I called and canceled it. I shouldn't even have to do this call because I NEVER SIGN FOR IT.
Now, I received my February statement and I have a charge for another month on 02/12/08 and the credit made on 02/22/08. I called one more time and they told me they can only refund the charge one time. First, I never sign for this program. Second, they shouldn't push people to sign for the 30 days trial because that is exactly what is going to happen. People called it and canceled and then ended up that you did it for last month but you were charge for the next month already. You ended up paying one month even if you don't want the service. I refuse to pay for a service that I never wanted in the first place. I said NO at the begining and the representative pushed me until I had to say send me the information and I will review it. Also, I want to make sure I won't get any new charge again.

I would just like to say that as a past employee of the store, I made it my job to make sure that all of the women that I waited on felt comfortable and happy with their experience. I am sorry for the experience that some of these women have had and hope that it does not give other Vickie's employees a bad name as I was always happy to help as were my fellow coworkers. In late Dec. 2007 I purchased 10 of the Pink collection panties for $25 from the Victoria's Secret store at Coastal Grand Mall in Myrtle Beach, SC while I was on vacation. I wore two of the pairs and decided they were not comfortable, so I exchanged the remaining 8 pairs for a different size in the Pink collection at the store in Columbiana Centre in Columbia, SC. I then wore two of those pair and decided those were uncomfortable also, so I went to the store with the remaining six pair to get some help on finding the right thing. I live over an hour away from the store so by this time is was Feb. 12th, but I still had all of my original receipts. A very helpful sales associate explained to me that the Pink collection is for juniors and that I probably wanted the Cotton collection. By this time both collections were 5 for $25 and I was told that both collections had been 10 for $25 when I purchased mine in late Dec.
I was told store by the store manager that even thougth both collections were 10 for $25 when I orginally bought them and both collections were 5 for $25 on that day, and I had all of my receipts, I could not exchange the Pink collection for the Cotton collection at the same rate. I could get the six Pink collection, but not the Cotton collection.
I got fed up and requested my cash back, which they did, but what I wanted was the merchandise, which was priced the same, at the price my reciept showed I paid for it.
I just can't believe that Victoria's Secret would rather a customer leave the store with money than the merchandise that I clearly wanted and they should clearly want to move. I mean what is the mark up in the stuff anyway? I think this is a very poor business decision on the part of Victoria's Secret. Their customer left unhappy and they basically lost this sale and previous sales from me. No one can convince me that their company would lose money by letting me exchange from one collection to another that is priced the exact same way. This is ridiculous. I really think their company should reconsider this stupid policy if they want to keep their customers happy. I don't plan to shop at Victoria's Secret anymore and this comes from a someone who has been a customer for over 15 years.
I could not get merchandise for the price I originally purchases it for with a receipt because I wanted a different collection that was the exact same price.

I never had a bad experience with the customer service of Victoria's Secret until today. When I was looking through a sale bin of lip-shimmers (pallette, non-liquid), a sales representative came and asked if I need any help. I said no and she went away. Now in that particular bin, there were already some of the products lying around, out of their boxes, before I even touched them. I did take a few out of their boxes, but then I put them back. I decided to continue browsing the store, but then decided to come back to that lip-shimmer bin and intended to buy one. I then noticed that there were 2 types of colors. Since I wanted to buy one, I wanted to make sure that I picked the correct box with the correct product in it (because people did mix them up); and since I also noticed that some people did use some of the products for trial (even those that were inside their boxes), I wanted to make sure I wouldn't get the one that had been used as trial.
The same lady came up to me and I asked her, just to make sure, whether they only have those two types of colors. She looked at me with the rudest look on her face, and said why I couldn't just read the tiny labels on the boxes. She practically didn't answer my question and instead, she looked at me like I was an idiot (for not reading the labels). She continued by saying, I don't know how many colors there are. But you don't have to take everything out of the boxes and not put them back. I was appalled. She actually accused me of doing something that I didn't do. Still in shock, I told her it wasn't me who did so, but she still had disbelief look on her face. I asked her if she was accusing me, she said no, and I told her she actually HAD done so. I was so mad I didn't think of explaining the reason why I looked through so many boxes. I went out of the store without getting any apologies from her. A good sales representative should have at least said sorry for a wrong accusation and after an obvious discomfort of a customer. Her attitude was very rude, unprofessional, and disrespectful. I ended up not buying the product and planning NOT to ever go back to that downtown SF store again.

Senate Bill 250 passed, which makes it California law for all consumers to be able to receive a refund for the remaining amounts of their gift cards if the amount is under $10, beginning January 1, 2008. I went into a Victoria secret store, made a purchase with my gift card, and then requested the remaining balance, which was only $0.34, to be refunded to me. What else could I possibly buy to use up the remaining balance without forcing myself to spend more? Nothing! The cashier declined my request, saying matter-of-factly, they don't do that. The other sales associate present jumped in and reaffirmed my cashier's statement. They said another customer had asked for their gift card balance to be refunded earlier, and was also denied.
I informed them that it was California law for them to refund the remaining balance and I presented a news article staing the new law and bill. They disregarded the article and didn't even read it, giving me snobby attitude and the impression that they were right and that was the final say. I asked to speak with their manager and waited for another 10 minutes for the manager to show up.
The manager was downloaded on the situation and took my atricle to read, after which she told me they didn't have a gift card refund policy and she didnt know how to do it even if she could because their registers weren't set up to do so. They didn't have the training to do so and corporate didn't tell them they needed to abide by a customer's request to refund their gift cards. I had no other choice but to leave, angry with the rude and snobby associates, 20 minutes of my time wasted, and with my useless giftcard in hand. I called their corporate to file a complaint and after 2 weeks of calling them again and again, I finally got to speak with a representative who reviwed my case. Apparently, Victoria's Secret reps are well aware of the terrible customer service and the rude associates, because one I spoke with said she had heard that complaint many times that day. In attempt to settle my complaint, the rep offered to give me a $10 giftcard. She informed me even if I went to the store again to request cashing out my balance, I would still be refused. So, basically, all my time and effort translates into nothing. They still don't abide by California law and did not seem to care at all. I am frustrated and angered by Victoria's Secret and would not be a customer again.

I felt I was credited much less than what was paid, so I went home to find the receipt and I found the receipt and went back to the store in Del Amo on January 7, 2008, 11:30 AM to speak with the manager, she scanned the the original gift receipt and the paid amount for the Rapture gift set was for $49.50. I asked if I could get credited for the amount that I overpaid on the exchange that I made and was told that, since I didn't have the receipt, It's YOUR PROBLEM, for not having the receipt at the time of the return. I was very upset at what she told me, and what was more upsetting was that she didn't even try to think of a way to help my situation. It's like she's saying it's your loss, too bad. I was at a lost for words.
What was more confusing was that they needed the original item Rapture gift set so that they can scan it, but I told them I returned the item and how could I have the item, and it's plainly stated on the receipt, I have two receipts now the original gift receipt and the return/exchange receipt. I know I should have looked for the receipt more carefully before making the return, but I did find the receipt and I feel that I should be credited accordingly, it's not that the amount is huge but it feels like I've been cheated, and the person who got me the gift has thrown money away. I want to know what happens to the extra money you get from the customers when this kind of situation occurs? What I need from Victoria's Secret is the $26.25 that I have overpaid because the return and exchange should have been an even exchange.

In the spring I purchased over $200 in bras and panties. These were not part of a clearance sale and were purchased from the regular store stock. I do take care in laundering. Purchases made in the past have held up for years with proper care. I purchased several bras form the store and within a short time they were no longer wearable. My racer backBody bra clasp broke after only wearing it twice. It was never laundered and they would not take it back. The Body demi cup bras I purchased had the underwire poking through after a few wears as well. When I asked an associate if she could provide some insight she suggested that I had gained weight since the purchase and my cup size could have changed. She didn't say this nicely. I had never met this associate and I am still the same size I was when I made the purchase and the size is a correct size. I'm not a big person, but the comment was still inappropriate. The darker cotton panties seems to fade quickly. I will have to research and start wearing other brands until they can focus on quality again.

I contacted VS and they told me I authorized the payments. When I denied that they told me they would have to search for the call and give me a call later. That was the end of November and they never returned my calls. Each time I call there are no notes about my previous calls.
My bank account has been charged three more times with the same amounts. To date I have over $150 of fees, and no one is willing to help me.

I used to look forward to getting my underwear there,,,,,not anymore. I have a friend who feels the same way.
Sorry Victoria..there's no secret anymore. Why pay for something that isn't worth the price & the name.

I am writing this complaint for my daughter, who now lives in China. Because of this, I am dealing with Victoria Secret. Here is the story: my daughter was browsing in V.S. in Willow Grove, PA. A salesperson asked her if she would like to open a credit card. She hesitated and said, yes. As she was filling out the application, the salesperson was taking down her personal information; bank account, license number, et. As it turns out, her purchases were put on the new V.S. credit card, which within a few weeks-WAS REJECTED. (My question right now is: What company allows a customer to put purchases on a brand new credit card without checking his/her credit first????? ) My daughter said that she was under the impression that the charges were put on her debit card. TEN months go by before we get a bill and now the bill is double the original charge! When I first got the letter from the collection agency I immediately called to settle this. It's an ongoing pain.

At the register I was asked if I had a Victoria Secret Credit Card and I said no. The saleslady asked if I would like to apply for one and I said no, that I already had too many. She said I could get free coupons, if I gave her a little information. I repeated that I did not want to apply for a credit card. She said, "no, this is just to receive coupons on your birthday and other sales". So I said ok, not knowing she put my name in for a credit card.
I received a letter from World Financial Network National Bank thanking me for my recent application for a Victoria Secret credit card and telling me that I was denied.
Now this goes on my credit report, and messes up my credit.

When I pulled the underwear out of the bag at home, I noticed a small hole where the cotton pulled away from the leg elastic. I called the online hotline who directed me to call the store. The store personnel said the only remedy would be to bring them back for an exchange. It would not be cost effective, nor timely for this solution. I explained that to the saleslady, but there were no alternative - even my suggestion to mail the undies and a copy of the receipt from 2 days ago. They mail things all the time, seems it would have been more choices to remedy my problem. Please make yourself aware that price doesn't always equal quality.

In Jan, 2001 I ordered an item that was incomplete so I sent the item back and received a statement with a balance of $0. That summer I recieved a post card stating that the missing items would be shipped soon. That was the last thing I ever heard from Victorias Secret, except for their catalogs. I never received any statments saying that I owed anything and credit checks never once reported any collections or write offs.
I contacted Victorias Secret in Mar of 2006 and the representative acknowledged that they had sent the bill to the wrong address, but they said regardless I still owed the $181. I paid the balance by phone to stop my credit from dropping, but I never purchased any items and the last statement I had was a balance of $0 approx 5 years ago.

While walking with my ten-year-old daughter through Crabtree Valley Mall in Raleigh, I was shocked at the explicate poses of the mannequins in the Victoria Secret's window display. I went in to speak with the manager, and was informed that there was nothing she can do about it. She explained that it was a corporate advertising campaign strategy and that I could call the corporate office to voice my opinion. The manager then proceeded to give me the phone number for the office that wasn't even a toll free number. Despite the personal cost, I have contact the company and voiced my disdain.
These new mannequins are designed to be more life like, being flesh colored and more anatomically correct, as opposed to the old white basic mannequins. These mannequins are so sexually explicit they appear to have stepped off of a Play Boy cover. If the thongs weren't suggestive enough, these mannequins are blind folded and arranged in various sexual positions. I do not believe that this is something that my child should be exposed to at her age. I also feel that as an adult, I have the right to shop at my favorite mall without having to endure **. I assure you, it is not welcome in my home nor is it welcome in my role as a consumer.
Sex shops tint and cover their windows. If Victoria's Secret's new marketing strategy is to sell sex, instead of tasteful lingerie then please ask them to have the same courtesy of covering their windows. I can turn off the TV when their ads come on. I can throw away their catalogs when they come in the mail. But I feel it is very unfair that I would have to stop shopping at my favorite mall because I am not able to shelter my child from seeing these sexually explicit displays.

Thinking that this was just an honest mistake I called and spoke to the manager. I asked her if any of her registers were over in cash from the day before. She put me on hold for about 4 minutes and came back and said no. I told her what had happened and gave her information from my receipt. I was purchasing two bags with fragrance packages inside them. The sales associate rang it up at the ticket price of $5.00. As I was preparing to pay by credit card, the Assistant Manager, Stepanie, ran over and snatched the bags from the sales associate stating that only the bag is $5.00 and the fragrances inside are to be invidually charged. The sales associate looked confused and then the Assistant Mgr. told her to void out the sale. I questioned where was the sign stating that only the bag was $5.00 and that every bag on the table was exactly the same. The assistant manager went over to the table and began tearing off the $5.00 price tag from the bags and told me that she would not sell it to me at the ticket price of $5.00. She then gave me her managers name and store number and told me to call her tommorow to settle it.
I then went to Mall Management and Police Officer A. Brewster took my story and then went to the store to see the table and merchandise. After seeing the table with the merchandise he then told me that it was misleading and false advertisement and to contact the store manager first thing on December 24th, that the store is obviously wrong and they should give me the merchandise for the advertised ticket price. On December 24, 2004 I went into the store to speak with the manager, Lara. Lara took me over to the table and showed me that there was now a sign stating the bags only are $5.00 and that yesterday they didn't have enough room on the table to display the sign. She then accused me of trying to get something for nothing and telling me I was having a miserable Christmas and must me a miserable person.
Lara also would not check the register logs to find the voided sale confirming my story instead she told me that the sales associate was not available and so she can't say what she knew. I told her that two sales persons had checked the accuracy of the price and the sales was already rung up and it was wrong for the assistant manager to snatch the merchandise and tear off the $5.00 price tag. As we were standing by the table 2 customers came over inquiring the price of the bag and the contents and she showed them the sign and told them the complete price for the contents in the bag and that even though the contents are in the bags it's just for display and each piece is individually priced. Lara, then turns to me and say, "sometime customers get confused."
I at this time asked for the District Managers name and contact information and Lara refused to give it to me stating that the information was confidential. I then left the store and again went to Mall Management where I spoke with Officer Adams who informed me that she had heard about Lara being rude to other customers. The Mall Manager then gave me the District Managers name and number. I called and left a voice message detailing the incident and asking for a return call back. I am an avid Victoria Secret shopper and I would like to see this issue resolved professionally and in a reasonable amount of time. The best solution to this problem is to go into your nearest Victoria's Secret Store, get a free bra fitting from a Bra Specialist, try on our "Bra Wardrobe Box", and then continue from there if you find a bra you like.
The second reason that the wire will pop out is that the bra is being washed improperly. ALL the tags on ALL the bras say "Hand Wash Only". A lot of people will wash their bras in the washing machine on the delicate cycle in a linen bag but it will still hurt your bras. It is like taking your bra and spinning it at 50 mph - a wire is bond to pop through the material. If you spend that much money on a bra, why not wash it correctly?
One of my managers has worked for Victoria's Secret for almost five years and she still has a bra that she got when she first started. We also do offer bras that do not have an underwire. A lot of woman do not like to wear an underwire so that is what they go for. I do understand that sometimes you will get a bra that has a wire that poppped out or you will not find a bra that you like. You are not obligated to buy the products. People always complain about how poor our products are but you never hear the millions of satisfied clients that we have.
